Selling Halloween decorations can be a difficult task for online Halloween stores between the off-season months of November through August. Obviously, Halloween decorations are a tough sell after the Halloween season, but this can be a great time for you to stock up in preparation for next Halloween. Many of the really cool Halloween decorations that you've always wanted to own can be quite expensive. However, most online stores reduce the price of their Halloween decorations during the off-season. So, take advantage of these savings by shopping early for some really great Halloween deals.

Plan Your Halloween Party Early

If you think you might be having a Halloween party this year, you'll want to start buying your Halloween decorations early in order to take advantage of the great off-season deals. Halloween themed plates, cups, napkins, plasticware, tablecloths, punchbowls, candles, and other party essentials can be purchased well ahead of time to prepare for your Halloween blowout. You'll also want to start thinking about what kind of theme you might want to have for your next Halloween party. Buying these decorations early will save you money and allow you the opportunity to get more decorations for that super frightening Halloween look. Pirate, dungeon, skeleton, graveyard, or haunted house themes are all great Halloween party ideas, but in order to do it right you need to have the right decorations. Shopping early for these items is the best way to get everything you'll need for a truly frightening Halloween party experience while also saving extra money.

Don't Forget to Decorate Your Yard

Decorating your yard in preparation for all those Halloween trick-or-treaters is also another great reason to shop during the off-season for all your Halloween decorating needs. Making a really scary graveyard scene in your front yard is one of the best ways to set that eerie Halloween mood. Tombstones, smoke machines, lights, skeletons, and spooky music all make for a great graveyard setting, but these decorating items can be quite pricey just before Halloween. Many of these items will be discounted during the off-season months before Halloween because there is just no market for them outside the Halloween season. So, planning ahead to make a really great yard display for those hungry goblins and ghouls will really pay off in the end when you start shopping for these items earlier in the year.

Buy Early and Save a Bundle

The thing with Halloween is that it generally consists of the same scary items year after year. Pumpkins, black cats, witches, vampires, ghosts, skeletons, fake blood, dry ice, gravestones, and cobwebs will never go out of style when it comes to Halloween. Just like you purchase your Christmas decorations in the off-season, so too should you plan ahead for Halloween. There will always be a new group of Halloween party goers or trick-or-treaters around to enjoy and appreciate your Halloween decorations. So stock up on all the supplies you can while the prices are low. You'll definitely be happy you did when everyone looks in amazement at how great your next Halloween party or yard decorations look, all the while knowing how much money you saved by buying your Halloween decorations early. So stop stalling and get shopping because Halloween will be here before you know it and with it will come those higher Halloween prices! <bio>Mark Callegari is a Halloween enthusiast and the owner of http://www.scaryproducts.com - a website dedicated to Halloween fun.
Need some quick Halloween decorations, that even the kids can help with? Here are three great Halloween decorating ideas using easy to find, inexpensive materials.

Craft Foam Creepies

Craft foam is sold in sheets at the craft store in a whole array of colors. It is similar to construction paper, but made of thin, durable foam you can easily cut with scissors. Trace simple Halloween shapes onto the backside of the foam sheets and cut out. Use contrasting colors and a glue stick to add details such as a jack o lantern face, red eyes on a bat, or the face of a silly ghost. You can make these cutouts as large or as small as you want. Hang them in windows or hang them with clear thread form curtain rods, doorways, or in your front entry. (This works really well with bats, hang them from the tips of each wing, and one place on the body to make them appear to be flying) These can even be used on protected porches as the foam is water resistant.

Graveyard

A graveyard near your front walk is a creepy and creative touch to the Halloween spirit. We used scrap pieces of plywood and siding and cut them into rectangles with the tops rounded, like a gravestone. We first painted them gray, then washed over them with a watery white paint for age and spook factor. We used black paint to add amusing names and epitaphs, such as "I.M. Gone" or "Ben Dismembered". Screw a wooded stake to the back and pound into the ground. I like to group them together on an area of grass, then rope them off with chains, add a few pumpkins (and in my neck of the woods, tumbleweeds are a nice touch) and line the edge of your "graveyard" with lighted jackolanterns for Hallows Eve. My kids have the lost fun with this!

Giant spiders and webs

First of all, set the stage for your spiders by picking up some webbing...it is really cheap, and stretches a LONG way! Corners of rooms or porches, or stretched over a door are great effects. To make the spiders, pick up large black pom poms and large black chenille stems from the craft store. Take 4 chenille stems and twist them together in the middle. This creates the eight legs. Bend the stems downward about halfway down each leg. Now use tacky glue or a glue gun (glue gun is my choice as it sets almost instantly, but the adult must handle this!) to secure a large pom pom in the center of the legs at the twist to form the body. You can add google eyes as some do, but I prefer to cut scary red eyes from felt or craft foam and glue on. Set your spiders in their webs, and you can bend the leg tips to attach them to a picture frame or a lamp chain. Remember, with this project, the bigger, the better, so buy the bargest legs and pom poms you can find!

Three great projects for Halloween, make enough of any of these and you can turn your home into a haunted house without the huge price tag. (Don't forget to pack them away for next year!) <bio>Kathy Wilson is an author, columnist, and editor of The Budget Decorator and Decorating Your Small Space.
St Hilda's Abbey, Whitby

Even as you bask in the sun on Whitby's sandy beaches, you cannot fail to be aware of the imposing and slightly sinister presence of the ruined Abbey, high on the East Cliff.

Situated on the eastern edge of Whitby, the Abbey is accessed by climbing the 199 stone steps that lead from the end of Church Street. These steps were originally wooden, and were built to allow coffin-bearers to reach the church. To this day there are coffin rests and seats along the stairs to allow weary limbs to rest. The present-day Abbey ruins date back to 1078, when the Normans built a Benedictine Priory on the site, replacing the ruins of the original monastery which was sacked by Vikings in 867.

The Abbey is steeped in history, both religious and otherwise - the nearby graveyard of St Mary's Church is reputed to have been the haunt of Count Dracula, and the legend that has built up around this story has led to Whitby becoming a popular destination for gothic enthusiasts, particularly during the biannual gothic music weekends.

The monastery was originally home to both nuns and monks, amongst whose number was Caedmon, reputed to be the first English poet and the father of sacred song. He was recruited to the abbey at Streoneshalh, as Whitby was then known, by Saint Hilda herself after she had heard him sing. Today, the significance of Caedmon's work is recognised with a large and ornately decorated gothic cross in the graveyard of St Mary's Church.

The abbey's importance as a regional centre became apparent when the Synod of Whitby was held there in 664, but its political power was to be fairly short-lived as in 867 Vikings landed in the area and ransacked the monastery. At the time, Danish settlements were spreading along the east coast of England, and it is thought that the Danes went on to settle in Whitby for some years after their arrival in 867.

The abbey was re-founded as a Benedictine Priory around 1078, in the aftermath of the Norman Conquest. Again, it was home to both nuns and monks, and remained on the site for nearly 500 years, until the brutal policies of King Henry VIII forced its final closure and partial destruction as part of the Dissolution of the Monasteries in 1539.

St Hilda's Abbey was then allowed to fall into disrepair, inadvertently becoming a source of stone for local residents, but today the remains are administered and maintained by English Heritage, and the unmistakeable profile of the abbey's ruins against the skyline is visible from many miles away when driving towards Whitby.

St Mary's Church, Whitby

Dating from 1110, St Mary's Church was originally built to provide a place of worship for the workers serving the Abbey, who were not allowed to worship within the Abbey itself. Although it has been extended several times, the original church still remains and is still the parish church of Whitby today.

Inside St Mary's Church, there are several notable design features - including a triple-decker pulpit, built to ensure the whole congregation could hear the sermon being read. Other notable features include the original 17th century box pews, which were originally hired by families for their exclusive use, and the extraordinary Cholmley pew, built in front of the chancel arch for this leading family so that they could have an unimpeded view of the service and the congregation.

The Church also has an unusual upper gallery and still has an original Elizabethan altar table.

St Mary's graveyard is well known to fans of Bram Stoker as the lurking place of Count Dracula, and at night the looming ruins of the nearby Abbey do indeed add a sinister and mysterious aspect to the area, leading one to think that fact could indeed be stranger than fiction. <bio>Alan Moore invites you to join his free email newsletter, The Whitby Bite: http://www.dracula-in-whitby.com/whitby-bite.html where you can learn more about the real Dracula and his connection to Whitby, Yorkshire's unique vampire town. </bio>

After a day packed with explorations and a lovely dinner at the Garrison House I was ready for my final discovery of the day: the famous Annapolis Royal Graveyard Tour. Punctually at 9:15 pm I showed up across the road from the my bed and breakfast at the south entrance of Fort Anne where local historian and expert guide Alan Melanson was ready to give his performance. About 15 people, hailing from places such as North Carolina, California and Saskatchewan, were equipped with candle-lit lanterns and after a brief introduction we were ready to head out.

Alan enlightened us that his outfit was an authentic funeral suit, the black sash and the black scarf tied around the hat were symbols of mourning. We learned that when children died the scarf on the hat would be white. Alan told the group that he has been doing this tour four nights a week, every week from June to October for 15 years and he has only missed one evening. The $7 donation for the tour goes to the Historical Society of Annapolis Royal, and over the years Alan has collected about $60,000 for this non-profit organization. Alan has been a park ranger and guide at the Fort Anne National Historic Site for about 27 years now and in addition to historical interpretation he also does outreach to bring history into local classrooms.

We started walking towards the cemetery, up and down through Fort Anne's "earthworks", fortifications constructed from mounds of earth which were intended to protect Annapolis Royal from potential intruders. The cemetery is just a few steps away from Fort Anne, and Alan collected the group at the largest gravestone, an obelisk and started the official tour.

Our first stop was the oldest gravestone in the cemetery, dating back to 1720, which belonged to a 37 year old woman. Alan explained that gravestones feature a lot of symbolism: death was represented for example by a winged skull, young children and babies who passed away would be symbolized by pictures of flowers, lambs or rose buds. Weeping willows were often used to represent death and mourning. Alan also educated us that different types of stone were used as gravestones over the centuries: slate, sandstone, granite and marble were all used to immortalize the dead.

Many of the residents of the graveyard had interesting stories: an 83-year old woman got cheated out of her fortune by a bad husband. Some soldiers were also buried here and Alan shed light on life in the army in the 18th century: out of 100 soldiers only six were allowed to bring their wives with them during deployments from England in the colonies. The wives and children who were allowed to come did not fare well either as they had to share bunk beds with their husbands. Conditions for soldiers only changed during the Crimean War when press coverage made the general public aware of the poor living conditions of soldiers, resulting in general outrage. The power of the press was already in evidence in the 1850s...

We also learned that large groups of volunteers regularly clean the gravestones, carefully using wooden tools and soap to scrape off the moss and then finishing the job with a solution made of vinegar and water. Alan reported that very little vandalism happens here in this historic graveyard since the local residents are extremely proud of their heritage. As a ninth generation Acadian, as a historic interpreter at Fort Anne and as the President of the Annapolis Royal Historical Society, Alan Melanson can personally attest to the importance and appreciation of history that characterizes this area. Annapolis Royal has the biggest National Heritage District consisting of 135 heritage buildings, it features the oldest gravestone and the oldest National Historic Site in Canada.

The pride in local history also includes reenactments of historic events and lifestyles. Alan told us about various historical reenactments which served moose nose soup and smoked beaver tail, dishes very similar to those that would have been savoured in the early 1600s by the settlers of the Port-Royal Habitation, incidentally the place where Wayne Melanson, Alan's identical twin brother, introduced me to early French history this afternoon.

Annapolis Royal is one of the most historic towns on the east coast and the oldest house in town, just east of the Historic Gardens, dates back to 1708. Alan explained the town's history was based around shipbuilding and of 13 wharfs only one is still in existence. The Garrison Graveyard houses 234 gravestones and more than 2000 people are buried here. Early Acadian settlers are also interred here, but their graves did not have gravestones -- their wooden crosses have long since rotted away.

Our local expert also informed us that a soldier dating back to the 1780s was found buried in the riverbed. Based on historical accounts and the burial technique, this person must have been a criminal which is the reason why he was buried in the river. Alan Melanson, himself a ninth generation Acadian who can trace his own lineage back to a certain Charles Melanson who arrived in this area in 1664, certainly has a passion for history and it shows. His theatrical voice conveys enthusiasm for the history of this town and he injects his presentation with humour and wittiness. Former Prime Minister Paul Martin also enjoyed his Garrison Graveyard Tour with Alan Melanson.

After the tour was over I returned the lantern and received a certificate attesting that I had attended the Annapolis Royal Graveyard Tour. I came back to the Garrison House BandB and peeked out into the dark cemetery, wondering what life must have been like in this town in the 1700 and 1800s. I laid down to rest up for another full day of explorations tomorrow which would include the Tidal Power Generating Plant, the Bear River Heritage and Cultural Centre and a coastal drive down to Yarmouth on the western tip of this province. Nova Scotia sure has a lot of history, interesting personalities and many fascinating human stories...

For the entire article including photos please visit http://www.travelandtransitions.com/stories_photos/annapolis_royal_graveyard_tour.htm <bio>Susanne Pacher is the publisher of Travel and Transitions (http://www.travelandtransitions.com), a popular web portal for unconventional travel and cross-cultural connections. Just seeing the name Google Assassin Google Adwords Course was enough for us to want a review done pronto on this informational product. Would it really be good enough to say goodbye to Google? Who knows, but being an addition to the Day Job Killer we had to at least take a look and see what all the hype was all about. In the end, we'll find the means.

Making Money in the First Week

Many of you who come online to make money need it right now. It may be to make a payment on the car, put money towards the electric bill, or even just have a gallon of gas in the tank to get you by for now. Whatever the reason may be, the Google Assassin Google Adwords Course has suggested they've made people money in the first seven days of using this program.

In fact, when you make your way down the sales page, you'll see a section where he talks about a beta tester using the system. In his first week, he gathered $470. So what if you only made half of this in a week? What would you do with that kind of money? While the answers are probably obvious, it's important that you figure out a place for it to go. This in a sense creates a goal for you to achieve.

Using Clickbank

As you continue reading about the Google Assassin Google Adwords Course, you'll find that Clickbank is the main source of income. There will be snapshots shown in front of you with amounts that range from $1,000-$47,000 in a two week pay period. One thing you should keep in mind however is the time frame it will take to learn and implement everything. Be patient, be realistic, and these thousands of dollars could be in your Clickbank account as opposed to your counterparts.

Chris is Just Like You

For some reason it's hard for people to believe everyday people like them are making money online. It doesn't matter if you're going to college, working the graveyard shift, or never knew much about the Internet to begin with, you can still make money online. Why we don't want to sound like your mom and tell you, "You can accomplish anything you set your mind too.", the truth of the matter is, you can. You'll find his story along with others situated within the sales page.

Our Overall Analysis

We actually own a copy of the Day Job Killer and it had terrific information included within its documents. We have know doubt the Google Assassin Google Adwords Course could have the same thing and be beneficial for many people just like you. The only thing is, after reading DJK, it's imperative you follow everything to a tee. If you don't, one little minor detail that you skip over could be the reason why you don't become successful. Like we said before, be patient. When it's all said and done, you'll be happy you were.<bio>Let Mr. X Review Kings Brian Garvin and Jeff West teach you more about Google Assassin.
Still thinking about what I learned about the fate of the Acadians after my visit to the Grand Pr=E9 National Historic Site, I got into the car and started driving westwards through the fertile Annapolis Valley, an area referred to as the "Breadbasket of Nova Scotia". The gentle North and South Mountain Ranges enclose this agricultural land of orchards and vineyards. The Bay of Fundy is located just on the other side of the northern range. A pleasant drive took me along the Evangeline Trail that runs on the northern shoreline of South West Nova Scotia.

My destination was Annapolis Royal, a town with more than 400 years of history, located at the mouth of the Annapolis River. Annapolis Royal, founded in 1605, originally was called Port-Royal by the Acadian settlers, but after the territory changed hands to the British in 1713 it was renamed in honour of England's Queen Anne. The word "polis", Greek for "town", was added to the Queen's name, and the original French word "Royal" was retained. A sign of turbulent times, ownership of this area went back and forth seven times between the English and the French. The town was settled two years before Jamestown, Virginia, three years before the founding of Quebec, and fifteen years before the Pilgrims landed at Plymouth Massachusetts.

Together with today's Port-Royal across the river, it is the oldest continuous European settlement in North America, north of St. Augustine, Florida. Annapolis Royal is one of five Cultural Capitals of Canada and was also recently selected as "The World's Most Livable Small Community" in an international competition endorsed by the United Nations. To enter the town I drove across the causeway that houses the Annapolis Royal Tidal Power Generating Plant and drove slowly into one of the most historic and picturesque towns in Canada.

Annapolis Royal used to be the capital of Nova Scotia from 1710 until 1749 when Halifax became the capital of the province. Its collection of 135 Municipal Heritage Properties makes it the largest National Historic District in Canada. The town is a popular tourist destination and boasts numerous bed and breakfasts, restaurants, cafes, galleries and retail stores located in heritage properties.

Fort Anne, the main attraction in the heart of the town, was built by the British to protect the mouth of the Annapolis River and this was my first stop. I went into the visitor's office at Fort Anne and was greeted by Alan Melanson, a 9th generation Acadian and a senior guide at this Parks Canada property. When I told him who I was looking for, he mentioned that my destination was actually the Port-Royal National Historic Site which was located on the other side of the river. I had obviously gotten the names Annapolis Royal, Fort Anne and Port-Royal confused and had showed up at the wrong place for my guided tour. That wasn't a problem, though, since Alan indicated that his twin brother, Wayne Melanson, is a senior guide at Port-Royal and he would simply make a phone call to the other location to advise his twin brother of my arrival later this afternoon.

I would have a chance to meet Alan again later tonight to participate in the famous Annapolis Royal Candlelight Graveyard Tour which Alan would lead at about 9 pm this evening. So with my appointment set at Port-Royal for later this afternoon, I decided to park the car and explore the town on foot. I walked down Lower St. George Street past the Town Hall, the Lighthouse which dates back to 1889 and heritage buildings such as the Sinclair Inn Museum =96 a National Historic Site, the Adams-Ritchie House and the Old Post Office.

I came back up through Church Street and admired all the colourful wooden clapboard houses. One thing about Nova Scotia architecture is the decorative paint trim work that always stands out as a special touch. Since my busy travel schedule had so far kept me from having lunch, I stopped off at the Streetscape Caf=E9, a cozy local place where I had a delicious vegetable puree soup, followed by some vanilla biscotti. It was the perfect place to read up on the local brochures and tourist information I had picked up. Appropriately strengthened I was ready to continue my discoveries of Annapolis Royal.

Just a few steps up the street right in front of Fort Anne is the Garrison Graveyard which was originally a French Catholic Graveyard from 1636 to 1710 and is the last resting place of about 2000 early residents. Right across from Fort Anne and the Graveyard was my bed and breakfast for the night, the Garrison House, which I would have a chance to explore a little later this afternoon after my visit to the Port-Royal Historic Site. I continued my stroll past Fort Anne on Upper St. George Street towards the Court House. Built in 1837, it is the oldest court house in the province still in use. An enormous old French willow tree at the Court House lane used to serve as the whipping tree where minor crimes were punished in public.

Just a few steps further on Upper St. George Street are the Annapolis Royal Historic Gardens =96 a full ten acres of horticultural beauty that just celebrated their 25th anniversary. I entered the gardens through the well-stocked gift shop and started my explorations of various display gardens, dykes and marshland areas. A stunning Victorian garden illustrates the horticultural styles of days past. An Acadian House ("la Maison Acadienne") is also located on the property and showcases tools and utensils used by the early French settlers. Although it was already early October, many of the garden areas still provided colourful displays of flowers and during the summer the Historic Gardens also feature a caf=E9 with hot and cold refreshments.

My brief walking tour through Annapolis Royal had given me a great introduction to a beautiful and very historic town and I was ready to discover even more history at the Port-Royal National Historic Site. <bio>Susanne Pacher is the publisher of http://www.travelandtransitions.com, a web portal for unconventional travel and cross-cultural connections.
My visit to the Port-Royal Habitation had given me great insight into the life and hardships of the early French settlers. It had been a full day so far, from my early morning explorations at the Grand Pr=E9 National Historic Site, my drive through the Annapolis Valley, my walking tour through Annapolis Royal including a quick visit to Fort Anne and the Historic Gardens - I had already seen a lot and worked up quite an appetite along the way.

So in the late afternoon I arrived at my abode for the night: The Garrison House Bed and Breakfast, located right across the street from Fort Anne and the Garrison Graveyard. The perfect spot for my evening's explorations. I checked in and one of the wait staff kindly helped me carry my luggage up to the second floor of this historic Victorian mansion. I settled down in my comfortable room, and started checking my messages from the convenient wireless network available at the Garrison House. I tried to catch a bit of a rest but by about 7:30 pm it was time for dinner.

I walked downstairs to the ground floor which houses the restaurant consisting of a large kitchen and three dining rooms holding 45 patrons. I took a seat in a cozy corner by the window facing the church next door. The restaurant is open from early May to the end of October and Fodor's has recommended the Garrison House Restaurant as the best place to eat in the area. The menu features a selection of fish and seafood dishes such as lobster salad, Norah's Acadian Seafood Chowder, fresh Digby scallops and other delicacies such as a wild mushroom risotto, a Vietnamese coconut milk curry, lemon-grass Thai chicken and many more.

To start my meal I enjoyed a tasty house salad followed by a Maritime favourite: pan-fried haddock, caught not far off the coast of Nova Scotia. The atmosphere was pleasant, several couples were dining and I had an opportunity to talk with the chef for a bit. Norah Folks has worked at the Garrison House for the last 20 years and filled me in on the culinary details of this restaurant. She mentioned that she and owner Patrick Redgrave who also cooks, prepare all the meals fresh and from scratch, using as many local ingredients as possible. My haddock for the evening for example, came from the Bay of Fundy.

Norah told me about a new trend in cooking: the focus is on traditional food with a twist. For example she would serve a rice pudding with a Chai (Chinese tea) flavour. She mentioned that the Garrison House changes its menu on a regular basis, and flavours and spices also vary. About 30% of the diners at the Garrison House are locals while 70% are travelers from other places.

As a chef, Norah mentioned that she is passionate about looking after her guests and whenever she or owner Patrick go traveling, they always come back with new flavours teasing the taste buds of their customers. It comes in handy that Norah has lived in Vancouver and been exposed to that city's ethnic restaurants, including Greek, Italian, Chinese and Japanese cuisine.

When I asked her about living in Annapolis Royal, Norah mentioned that she is a local maritimer and enjoys the calm, easy-going life-style. Many artists have recognized the charm of this town and set up workshops and galleries here. The King's Theatre provides theatrical entertainment in the summer, and Norah also told me about the Tidal Generating Plant, one of only two such electricity producing plants in the world. I decided that I would need to see this unique power station tomorrow morning.

But now after this enjoyable dinner, it was time for my next adventure: the Annapolis Royal Graveyard Tour at the Garrison Cemetery across the street, led by local celebrity and history expert Alan Melanson. <bio>Susanne Pacher is the publisher of http://www.travelandtransitions.com, a web portal for unconventional travel and cross-cultural connections.
To many loving pet owners losing a pet is like losing a member of the family. Many pets are loyal friends and companions and offer their owners unconditional love and comfort that is almost impossible to get from a human. Grieving for the loss of a friend or family member is expected and understood and yet many feel that they are not allowed to mourn when their pet passes on. Often they fear being ridiculed or mocked if they allow their distress to be visible and yet they can be closer to their pet than any human they know.

Pet cemeteries are becoming more common and offer pet owners a place to lay their pet to rest and somewhere to go to mourn and remember them. Others prefer to scatter ashes in their pet's favorite place or to keep them close to hand as a reminder. Until recently, these options have been the most common but even so they remain rare. However, as with most things, the Internet is opening up a range of new opportunities.

For pet owners who are unable to retain their pet's ashes, or who do not wish to do so, there is still a place where they can remember their pets and give and receive comfort to others who have lost their pets. Pet cemeteries are few and far between and so this virtual graveyard allows everyone to gather together regardless of their location, mobility, age or gender. In Memory of Pets was set up in 1997 after the website host, John Mingo, lost his beloved dog, Candy. The site has many options for pet lovers both to celebrate their lives and also to offer support to others who are grieving their own losses.

The site has a section for tributes, poems and such like and also gives you the opportunity to light a candle in memory of your pet. This is done with an online ceremony and allows you to submit a photo of your pet. This then remains on the site permanently so that you can find and view the candle and remember your pet at any time that you wish to do so.

For those who have experienced the pain of losing a pet in the past, this site offers a real opportunity to share the grief and openly mourn their passing. No longer is it an embarrassment to grieve your pet's death from anywhere in the world. <bio>The author is a regular contributor to Ann's Pet Supplies http://www.annspetsupplies.com where more information about pet supplies and pet products are freely available. </bio>

The damaging effects the harsh rays of the sun can do to the body are no longer news. Rather, attention is now on how to protect ourselves from these rays with sunscreen. Don't get it wrong, a little bit of sunshine is beneficial to the body, as it can be a source of vitamin D. But too much exposure to the sun will certainly damage the skin.

The primary destructive agents are the Ultraviolet A (UVA) and Ultraviolet B (UVB), both are constituents of sunlight, and are the major cause of skin cancer, altered pigmentation, dilated blood vessels, and textural changes of the skin. And when you combine all these anomalies, the result is an aging skin. When someone with sunburn further exposes himself to the sun without sunscreen protection, he is damaging his skin and increasing the odds of him getting skin cancer.

The same holds for the process of tanning, because each exposure further damages the skin, regardless of whether the skin is sunburned or not. It is due to this that experts asserted that no skin tanning is really safe.

Over the years, several types of sun screens have been produced with built in capabilities to protect the skin from the damaging rays of the sun. When sun screens are worn properly, and regularly, they can provide maximum protection from sun rays. But nothing still beats staying out of the sun to avoid damage to your skin, regardless of whether you are wearing a sun screen, hat, or protective clothing.

A marvel about sun screens is their versatility, because they are just not limited to be applied on the skin. There are other variants of sun screens like window tinting, sun shades, and several other sun protective devices for the home and automobiles. For house owners in warmer parts of the U.S, owning sun screens is vital, because the intensity of the sun in these areas is severe.

So it is common sight to see such things as window tinting on cars, and light filtering curtains. Many businesses that specialized in the production of sun shading items for the home and offices are widely available in those areas.

Owning sun screen is very important for almost everyone, avid sun and tan lovers inclusive. It is a grave error to think that you cannot get skin cancer from exposure to the sun; the graveyard is full of people who had the same thought.

It is very easy to apply sun screen to your skin, and it is probably the cheapest way to protect yourself and family from the sun. Because of their very easy mode of application to the skin, sun screen are now an integral part of facial, lip, and body moisturizing products.

Remember, you will have no chance to reverse the effects of a damaged skin such as skin cancer, so the practical way to prevent this is by using sun screens to protect yourself from the sun. <bio>By Kyle Greatbatch http://www.skin-bright.com </bio>

How one family loves halloween decorating. The different kinds of halloween decorating they see in their neighborhood. The amazing hoices of halloweenthings available.

Halloween is one of the favorite holidays of my family. I know a lot of people don't enjoy it. but we get a big kick out of all of the activities involved in Halloween. We love dressing up in costumes. decorating the house in a spooky fashion. and just generally having fun together. Decorating the house is our favorite part. All of the funny. spooky things you can get to decorate your house with makes it a ball. Take spiders. Normally. I don't like having spiders in my home. but when I decorate for Halloween. I want the biggest. scariest ones of all hanging around.

There are a lot of ways to decorate for Halloween. with some people concentrating on witches and monsters and others concentrating on graveyard sites and zombies. We like to take a ride around town and look at all of the great decorating ideas. We have seen desolate graveyards recreated in front yards. with scary sounds and fog creeping along the ground. Use your imagination and it is scarily real. especially since you can't see the fog machines and the amplifying systems! I also like the houses that have gigantic spider webs strung across the porch. and flashing orange lights. Usually the houses that are the most decorated are the best ones to take the kids for trick or treats. These families really get into the andquot;spiritandquot; of things. so you can be sure they will have good treats.

There are some real diehards who decorate their houses inside and out in the Halloween theme. and even turn their homes into haunted houses. You can tell they must get a lot of enjoyment out of a project like that. because it sure is a lot of work. Most people just decorate to entertain their neighbors and for the trick or treating kids that stop by. It's a shame that so many parents don't let their children go trick or treating any more because of some of the dangers. Just a few crazy people spoiled a fun holiday for everyone.

If you are into Halloween decorating. you will not believe the amount of things you can buy today. If money were no object. you could really go wild. Party stores that sell monsters. fog machines. gravestones or just about anything else. And if that's not enough. there is an even greater selection on the internet. New weird stuff. or the old classics that we know from our childhoods. If you can think it up. you can get it. <bio>Andrew Caxton is an online entrepreneur and writes for http://www.home-decorating-reviews.com .
If you're working in a call center, you have no choice but to listen to each call. Some callers may be meanies spewing their rage. Since you are an employee, you have to stay cool all the time, which makes you impotent and angrily frustrated. Call center consulting experts have to deal with this problem - beyond technology, the use of psychology.

The Phone Rage Phenomenon

Phone rage is on the rise and the number of call center employees is increasing. Morale is low at the workplace and businesses should expect that their employees can lash back, making the situation worse. The company branding cannot afford this setback in the face of cut-throat competition.

Call center consulting mavens are ready to recommend online courses for people handling phone rage. The courses cover topics like identifying different types of callers, managing angry and passive calls, and using different approaches to manage the calls. The course also teaches individuals how to stay cool and practice control.

Phone rage is the latest to hit the chart of top rages, coming a close second to road rage. Call center workers are dealt with this blow everyday and in every form, from whining to aggression. The courses proposed by call center gurus come at time when businesses handling call centers at are their wits end trying to solve the issue without losing customers.

Why the rage? Unsatisfied customer experiencing poor service are outraged over the fact that bills promptly arrive, yet service is slack. Some of the reasons for poor service, be it snapped cables, a writer's strike, and a host of other reasons, are simply beyond the business's control.

Diplomacy on Call

If you are a call center employee working the graveyard shift, phone rage can keep you seething overnight, as you are not allowed to blow your top. You can only listen and try to identify the source of the anger and employ a response that will not infuriate the caller any further.

Remember you are the business's front-liner and you cannot destroy the company's image just because of one nasty caller. Managing the anger at your level can be difficult, but knowing the process can ease things up. Like you, other call center employees feel they are guilty for all the accusations hurled at them when they should not be.

The recommended program coming from call center consulting programs outlines every situation and processes involved in handling aggressive calls. You will be made to understand that angry callers do not see themselves as raving mad maniacs but the aggrieved parties seeking redress.

Looking at the situation from this perspective helps you calm down. This should also help your colleagues in the call center. Consulting professionals who can help provide an action plan also benefit individuals stressed out from handling phone rage.

Technology and Psychology

If you are the business owner needing call center consulting service, discuss the possibilities of phone rage and how your people can handle the problem. This likelihood is sure to occur as more people will be reaching for the phone to make inquiries and requests, place orders, and file complaints.

A call center consulting service will diagnose the current set-up, review CRM operations, and design a call center program that will eliminate some technological problems. But when it comes to phone rage problems in the call center, consulting the psychological experts will make your call center operations smoother and your employees happier. <bio>Call center consulting (http://www.crm-software-guide.com/crm-consulting.htm), customer relationship management software (http://www.crm-software-guide.com), and CRM articles (http://www.crm-software-guide.com/customer-relationship-management-article= s.htm) can boost your current CRM. Page rank means what it says =96 a ranking of your pages, not your whole website.

Larry Page invented the concept of Page Rank while at Stanford University and was later helped by Sergey Brin. The two of them eventually founded Google (named as a play on the word googol =96 a very large number) and trade marked the term PageRank. It applies to the popularity of a web page based upon the number of other web pages that link to it. This applies on the premise that these links are due to the perceived popularity, or relevance, of that site to the search term or keyword being used.

Now, however, PageRank is a synthetic measurement based upon how many links a webmaster can contrive to achieve to any one page on a particular website, and has little to do with the relevance or popularity of that page. It is possible to contrive a high PageRank through a linking strategy that has little to do with the content of the page, or relevance to the keyword in question.

The emphasis that Google and other search engines gives to web pages with a high number of such contrived links, therefore, is open to question. There are indications that PageRank is becoming less important in the overall index listing of a web page. However, article marketing will never in the foreseeable future be overtaken by any other strategy in the search engine listing race.

This is because search engines are highly unlikely to relegate linking strategies to the graveyard simply because of reciprocal liking strategies. It is more likely, and might even be happening now, that links from one web page that are reciprocated with links from another are both negated. The only links that are included in the search engine algorithmic calculations will then be the genuine ones. Those that are provided by directories that do not demand a link back. Those that are provided by webmasters that copy your article to their web page as content.

In other words, it is likely that future Google Page Rank is determined by genuine non-reciprocal links that article marketing is the ideal strategy to generate. All links that the spiders see as being reciprocated will be excluded from the calculation. <bio>For more information how to use article marketing to improve your page rank, check out Pete's site http://www.article-services.com where he offers a professional article ghostwriting service designed to help you improve your page rank and traffic to your site. </bio>

I see already that this going to need two parts or more to write about. It has taken me some time now to consider writing this but I must. I discovered a few years ago that while taking the burdock root for my colon, I began to experience fewer outbreaks of acne. Let me explain.

I never read anything about anyone using burdock root to treat acne. In fact when it was suggested to me the only thing I remember reading about it was its origin, no recollection about the acne.

I knew what I had experienced, and thought to write on it but did a search first, and actually found two article sites, very little otherwise. They were mainly selling sites. I was the only science project on this that I knew about. Surely there are more.

Use Burdock Root To Treat Your Acne

So, anyway a few years ago I started using burdock root, in capsule form, 540mg/capsule, to help with my colon, per recommendation of my nutritionist and physical therapist, because of some serious digestive issues back in 2001-2004. It is a natural cleanser, a diuretic, so you can imagine why I was on it. It had to be necessary, because I am no pill taker.

In the process of using it I began noticing my acne condition was dimininshing. It was several weeks before it clicked, though. I was on this stuff for my stomach and colon, had no idea of all the other benefits associated with the burdock root. The only logical thing here is to restate what those benefits are, especially in regards to using burdock root to treat the acne condition.

Burdock Root History

When I was a kid I used to play near an old colonial graveyard where these types of plants, in the family of genus Arctium, grew. I used to get them in my hair and clothes, no fun. Never thought I would be drinking burdock root tea or taking it as a capsule, pretty weird.

Burdock root is used in food and beverages, and as a medicine. Most popular as a cuisine in Asia, the roots are mingled with other vegetables and sauces and happily eaten. I am not sure if I will go as far as eating the root, but I suppose I can try new things.

Burdock root has been known to be used for many centuries as a purifier to the bloodstream, cleaning out the toxins in the blood. It is leaned on as a diuretic as well. 'Tis true, again I am an experiment to this, it does do this. A natural purifier of the liver and kidneys also. But it is a good thing. My liver and kidney feel relaxed and great. Again, Everything in those areas and the digestive track feel great as a result. More on that in the next article.

Burdock root has been used also as a skin remedy for acne, and rosacea. Its oil has been used in years past in treatment of the scalp, promoting healthy growth of hair and also supplying healthy aid to the sebaceous glands. This is where we come in as those suffering with the acne disease.

See Part 2 as this is getting lengthy.<bio>This text is a link to a page on the World Wide Web.</bio>

The whole world is captivated by the movies coming out of the major American film studios, but it is one thing to see the movies and another thing to get behind the scenes, find out how they were made and go on rides that put you right into the midst of the most popular movies of our time. You can do all of this at the Universal Studios theme park in Orlando, Florida.

Let's take a look at some of the attractions currently on offer at the Universal Studios park in Orlando.

First of all, if you want to "get under the hood" and see how films are made then your first stop should be Production Central, Production Central area of Universal Studios. Located just beyond front gates of Universal Studios, you'll find yourself in the middle of a real working film and television production studio.

And while you are in Production Central you can treat yourself and your family to a spectacular Shrek adventure. Shrek 4D features an original 3D film which the studio says is produced with Ogrevision. Here you can join Shrek, Donkey and Princess Fiona on a wild adventure. According the Universal Studios website, "You see, hear and actually FEEL the action right from your seat! If you love motion simulator rides, you'll love Shrek 4-D=99."

Were you thrilled by the movie "Revenge of the Mummy?" And do you like roller coasters? If you answered yes to either of these questions then you will enjoy the Revenge of the Mummy ride. Here is how Universal describes it, "Plunge into total darkness as you face fireballs, scarab beetles, and an army of warrior mummies on a psychological thrill ride totally unlike anything that's come along in the past 3,000 years!" That, sounds like something that will delight any family of film lovers.

Would you like to protect the earth from an alien attack? Then you should hop onboard the Men in Black Alien Attack ride. Universal has created 120 alien species for this attraction. Each six passenger vehicle is equipped with laser guns and "As an agent trainee, you'll zap aliens as you chase them through the streets of New York in this high-tech ride based on the hit movie."

The Terminator series of films was an imaginative look at the future, and the Terminator attraction at Universal Studios lives up to the legacy of that popular trilogy. The attraction is called, "Terminator 2: 3-D Battle Across Time," and it is said to be one of the more elaborate and technologically advanced theme park experiences ever created. All Terminator fans will get a kick out of this ride.

Are you ready to withstand the all out attack of Jaws? Then get on board the Jaws ride at Universal but be careful because you're gonna need a bigger boat! Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, a giant fin slices through the waves and you're suddenly face to face with three tons of Great White fury.

In addition to high tech thrill rides, Universal offers plenty of outdoor entertainment. There is a Blues Brothers show, a tribute to comedy queen Lucille Ball and a monster themed Beetlejuice Graveyard Revue, complete with screamin' demons and wailing guitars.

Universal has produced rich load of imaginative films and characters and the Studio draws on them to the maximum to create a theme park that will live up to and exceed your expectations. <bio>Mark Whichard is a frequent writer on Orlando vacations.
Many people find that working from home is something that they can do in order to make themselves even more successful. However, if you are working from home you probably know that it is easy to slack off or to sleep in, and it might be easy to not get as much done as you should, simply because you have the freedom to work whenever you want to work. While some find that working at home makes them more productive, some find that the opposite is true and that without the schedule that forces them to be at work, they are unable to get things done easily. There are a few things that you can do to make sure that you are able to be productive and still be able to have the freedom of working from home.

First of all, you should set a work schedule. Because you work from home, this can be any type of schedule that you need. You can work mornings or afternoons or even nights. However, you should be sure that you set a schedule and keep to it. This will mean that your clients will know when to reach you, your family will know when you are working and when you are not, and you will be able to fit everything into your schedule .The best part about working from home is that you are going to be able to decide when you want to work and when you do not want to work. Therefore, be sure that you set the schedule for times that you do want to work.

Next, even though you are working from home you should be going somewhere while you are work. Don't set up your laptop in front of your TV and think that you will get anything done while you are working from home. Set up a desk or even a tray table somewhere that can be your home office. Remember that you don't' always need an actual office for your home office =96 you can simply use an area that is only for your work. If you have a place to go that is the place you only go when you are working, you'll find that you are able to get much more done.

If you are able to have set work hours and to actually go somewhere else for your work, you will find that you are much more productive. There are other things that you can do as well. Get dressed for work, even if you aren't going to work. Spend some time making sure that you feel like you are getting ready for work, so that while you are working you will feel as if you are doing more than just hanging out at home. If you are trying to run a household or take care of children as well, be sure that you schedule things in such a way so that your work time does not overlap with this time, either. You will be much more productive. <bio>Dock J. Murphy is owner of Plug in Profit http://Site.com and writes on a variety on a variety of subjects.
Your choice of PMP Exam Preparation Online training is predicated on your busy lifestyle. You simply do not have enough time to squeeze in brick-and-mortar classes in your already-packed professional schedule stretching from early morning to late night. So, what is the better solution? Online training! Why?

Convenience and Comfort

You can have your training anywhere, anytime at your convenience. With PMP Exam Preparation Online you can log on 24/7 in the comfort of your own home, at the office, while traveling, and anywhere else you can think of. You can study anytime of the day, even during the graveyard shift! You should choose a course with unlimited access so that you can avail of the 24/7 feature.

With PMP Exam Preparation Online, you can set your own pace of learning. Indeed, you cannot be expected to keep up with the others since there are no others (classmates that is)! You can go slow or go fast depending on how well you understand the training modules. Of course, it is always best to have a study plan.

And because online training does not require your physical presence, unlike brick-and-mortar classrooms, you can study without worrying about your physical appearance and how your emotional moods will affect your classmates.

Complete and Comprehensive

You can have complete and comprehensive instruction from the PMP Exam Preparation Online training course. The quality of content and the quantity of topics discussed are the same as in classroom instruction, with the added advantage that you have online help anytime you wish.

Continuing Credits and Certification

In your efforts towards achieving and maintaining your PMP credential, you will need to acquire continuing education credits. There are many sources for these credits such as PMI training courses and global congresses, classroom instructions, contributions to professional research, and being writer of published works on the subject of project management.

Of course, there is always the PMP Exam Preparation Online that offers as much as 35 PDUs. This is the minimum number of required contact hours for formal project management training before you can actually apply for the PMP examination. Just ask for the certificate of completion and you have a verifiable proof of PDUs acquired.

Cost-Friendly

When you factor in the cost of transportation, books, and other miscellaneous expenses in classroom instruction, you will find that online training is cheaper without sacrificing quality. After all, you are not required to travel to the classroom (and with gas prices as high as they are today, you will be grateful to give your pocket a rest), you are not required to buy additional books, and you are not even required to be presentable (no clothes worry, no fashion police).

You will also not lose your leave credits while you are acquiring your professional credits. Since you can study at home, you need not be absent from work. This means that you actually save your vacation and sick credits for when you really need them.

Indeed, the PMP Exam Preparation Online is good news for all Project Managers who wish to broaden their knowledge and secure their credentials.<bio>For your online PMP Exam preparation, take a PMP Exam Preparation Course from ThreeO.ca now!
"Your food is your grave," said the famous dramatist and author Bernard Shaw. He was a strict vegetarian too. "My stomach is not the graveyard to bury the dead animals," he said of the non-vegetarian food.

Well, I would not like to touch upon his second statement in this article and concentrate on the topic of the good diet for you, that is, the balanced diet. If you take good food, you will have a healthy body and a glowing skin. If you take wrong food, the impurity will erupt out of the skin in the form of acne.

Have you watched the birds and animals? They have a fixed time to eat and a fixed time to rest. You can't make your most faithful dog, eat against its wishes. It may obey any other command of the master, but as for its eating, it has its own rules and regulations.

And we, the human beings- the so called, rational beings; hailed as the crown of Creation; most affectionate children of God! We are prepared to eat anything at any time.

Have you ever realized that there are some more partners in your food intake company, apart from those taste buds dancing on the tongue? Have you ever thought about the quality of food you partake? Do you even know that high cholesterol level leads to hardening of arteries, which could result in heart disease or heart attack?

Your intake of food and drink needs to be healthy. Take sugar in moderate quantity, and get your cholesterol checked at periodical levels. If it crosses 200, consult your doctor immediately. And take note- you alone are responsible for your present physical condition!

Fat in your body is measured by a method called Body Mass Index (BMI). For a woman who is physically fit, it should be around 21% to 31%. If she is fit like a model, it could be as low as 10%. For men, it should be between 14% to 25% levels. For an athlete body, it could be again as low as 2%.

Remember, most of the diseases are invited by you. Diseases do not come by themselves, unless you create conditions for their comfortable existence in your body by your wrong living. Wrong diet is believed to be the cause of acne attack as well. Fruit juice is certainly good for the glow of your skin. Acne just wants an excuse to make your skin its abode for a fairly long period.

The golden rule of good diet is to avoid all types of junk food. Take seasonal fruits and vegetables. Prefer vegetables full of fiber. Nature gives appropriate things at the appropriate seasons. Follow it. Don't confront it. Avoid artificially flavored food and drinks. <bio>The author writes about a number of different topics.
Many people are still saddled with antiquated MLM training and ideas of how the old multilevel companies were run in the 60's and 70's. Remember that we are already in the new millennium, people.

And the trainings in MLM that we have today had already grown pass those times.

Some of the more successful marketers have the fortune to have undergone the proper MLM training to make them more profitable than others. What is the one secret they have learned in MLM training?

The secret is choosing a team with an experienced coach who will teach, guide and motivate you towards success.

Of course there are other factors to consider such as the financial backing of the company, timing, the compensation plan and marketing a consumable product. But if you are not properly trained and motivated during those early months you are almost doomed to failure.

But think about it. Every professional businessperson or athlete has a coach to aid in the training. Why should it be different in MLM marketing?

In MLM marketing, you can start your business for less than $500 and literally choose the coach or leader who will be training you. Of course this will involve doing a little background check on the team leader you choose to work with. But in the end, it will be a time worth spending.

Here are a few pointers that will help you when seeking out the "correct coach" who will assist you in your MLM training.

1. Make sure that he or she has a proven track record.

A gifted leader will also prove his or her worth in the results produced. Generally speaking, you will not rise higher than your leader, so know how high you want to reach and find a coach who can get you there.

2. Go with someone who has been training in MLM for many years.

You want a leader who will be like the northern star; bright and steady. Those who are successful network marketers are people who stay for the long haul. Many people give up too quickly and never reap the harvest.

Choose a leader who has experienced some bumps in MLM and can now be selective in choosing a company that is most likely to remain out of the MLM graveyard.

3. Find someone who knows how to market.

Network marketing is just that: marketing through networking. An essential part of the equation therefore is the effective marketing of your business.

Marketing can eat up a small budget very quickly.
We all know how important it is to work hard to get your home business up and running and off the ground. We also know that when your home business is located right in your home, it is all too easy to get a few extra hours of work in after you eat dinner, or to get up early to work a little bit more in the morning. However, the fact remains that most of the people who are working at home businesses have decided to do this so that they can control what hours they work, and so that they can have more time to themselves to do the things that they have always wanted to do. If you find yourself working too much, and you know that you are in danger of working longer hours than you did at your old job, here are some ways to avoid becoming a 24 hour a day worker again.

Hours

First and foremost, no matter what your business is, you need to have working hours. This is for your benefit. If you have an online site or an online store, you are going to be open 24 hours a day, but this doesn't mean that you have to be at your computer for the entire day. You need to set hours for yourself, and these hours will have to include time to process whatever has come in while you aren't working. There is a danger in sitting at your computer all day to take orders in the hopes of keeping up with them, because you will find that you never leave.

If you find that you have too much work, and not enough time, this means that you are taking on too much. You have to be sure that you are only working as much as you can handle to work, or that you are delegating tasks to make sure you aren't having to work all day and all night. This is something that a lot of people fail to do, and it can be something that is very dangerous, because giving out tasks is the best way to make sure all of your work gets done. If you find yourself with too much, you'll end up working more than you want to be working, so be sure to find help, or hire some if you need it. Something else that you can be sure to do is to give yourself a break now and then. Remember that you don't have to take every project that comes your way, and remember that you can be allowed a sick day when you are sick. These things are important, and are also vital to keeping your sanity as well as your business. <bio>Kal Bartal is owner of http://bartal.biz and writes on a variety of subjects.
