On the surface though, it sounds right. <br /><br /> NM isn't pure word of mouth marketing in the way professionals use the term. <br /><br /> According to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/womma" rel="tag">WOMMA</a> (Word of Mouth <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketing+association" rel="tag">Marketing Association</a>): <br /><br /> Word of mouth: The act of consumers providing information to other consumers. <br /><br /> But WOMMA warns about 'unethical word of mouth marketing': <br /><br /> Shilling: Paying people to talk about (or promote) a product without disclosing that they are working for the company; impersonating a customer.andquot; <br /><br /> True word of mouth marketing means one person telling another about something they love, without benefitting financially. They tell because they love it, and because they want you love it, too. Plus it's fun to tell friends about new stuff - it gives you social currency, if you will. And the group of people in the know, of which you are a part, gets bigger - because of you. <br /><br /> The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tivo" rel="tag">TIVO</a> craze grew from true and pure word of mouth. People who loved having TIVO raved about it to their friends. But not because they were getting paid, which would have made their raves suspect, but just because they loved it and wanted more people to enjoy it like they were. <br /><br /> So, when you talk about the product you love to another, even though you are using your mouth to talk about it, IF you get paid when someone buys, that's called SALES. <br /><br /> If you don't get paid when you talk about how great a product is, it's word of mouth the way marketers use it. <br /><br /> So here's a way to do word of mouth and not have people surprised at the end when they have to confess that you're sellling it: If you talk about your product, use your mouth to tell right up front that you are marketing it, and tell why -- because of what it did for you, etc. Then when they ask, andquot; So where can I get this product?andquot; you won't have to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/squirm" rel="tag">squirm</a>. And they won't be suspicious of why you told them all those wonderful things about it. <br /><br /> Don't you want to know when someone's getting paid for endorsing things? <br /><br /> Today, celebreties and politicians too, have to disclose that they're being paid when they endorse products on TV even though they use them and love them. Because WE want to know that. Don't we? <bio>Kim Klaver is Harvard andamp; Stanford educated. <content:encoded><![CDATA[In a piece called Ponzi, Pyramids, MLM, Ads and WOM...(WOM=<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">Word Of Mouth</a>), <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/seth+godin" rel="tag">Seth Godin</a> writes: <br /><br /> and<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/quot" rel="tag">quot</a>;The next kind of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pyramid+scheme" rel="tag">pyramid scheme</a> is certain kinds of MLM (vitamins, often)... <br /><br /> In this case...there's also an attractive side benefit. You get the energy bars or the web traffic or the perfume or the herbs. The product often hides the underlying structure of the business, but in particularly loud versions, it's pretty clear it's just a pyramid scheme... <br /><br /> andquot;Once again, most people don't like this. You cringe when your sister-in-law brings it up. You hide in the conference room when your co-worker takes out his sample case. It feels wrong, and it largely is. It is because the motivation of the seller is primarily selfish. (emphasis added - kk) <br /><br /> andquot;Selfish because she's trying to build her downline. Selfish because the entire focus of the enterprise is to make the enterprise bigger...andquot; <br /><br /> Seth has a point. <br /><br /> Here's the problem everyone but us perceives: <br /><br /> andquot;Ahh so THAT's why you called me up/ THAT's why you are saying those things, you are SELLING it...I get it now.andquot; <br /><br /> No one likes to be sneaked up on by a friend this way. This is why so many people see networkers as people who abuse their friends, by taking advantage of Word of Mouth the way it's used among trusting friends to get their attention and then fess up at the end that they're selling the thing. <br /><br /> andquot;Word of Mouth is a really fragile entity, andquot; Godin writes. Indeed it is. <br /><br /> Which is why network marketing (MLM) is really NOT Word of Mouth in the way most people use the term - i.e. people telling each other about things just because of the satisfaction or thrill of it. That fact is what gives Word of Mouth its value - there IS no hidden agenda. <br /><br /> Don't abuse Word of Mouth with friends. You'll know you did when a friend lets you know, andquot;Ahh, so THAT'S why you called me and recommended that! There was something in it for YOU!andquot; <br /><br /> Just tell right up front. So everyone can put on their listening filter, as we would with any sales person about to make a pitch. <bio>Kim Klaver is Harvard andamp; Stanford educated. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ One of the most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/frequent+errors" rel="tag">frequent errors</a> young business people make when launching into their chosen fields is making the assumption that word of mouth advertising is something that happens by chance. Be for certain, it is far from that. While providing great competitive prices, customer service, and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/high+quality+products" rel="tag">high quality products</a> will offer people something to talk about, it only takes one <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unhappy+customer" rel="tag">unhappy customer</a> to negatively affect a many satisfied ones. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth+marketing" rel="tag">Word of mouth marketing</a> works both directions, and angry people speak much louder than those who had a enjoyable experience. If you desire the word of mouth advertising that will have the business flowing in, you'll need to develop it yourself. In this article, you'll be provided with some of the ways to get people conversing, (in a good way) about your company. <br /><br /> As mentioned earlier, it's much more challenging to get people who are pleased with your business to go and tell one friend than it is to get one unhappy customer to tell everyone they come in contact with. This is a well known trait in most of the human population and it is a challenge nearly every business must conquer. <br /><br /> People thrive on <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/delivering+bad+news" rel="tag">delivering bad news</a>. They feel they are doing people a great service by telling them to stay away from a certain business. Secondly, this gives the customer an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/illusion+of+power" rel="tag">illusion of power</a>. If they have enough friends and enough influence, it's more than an illusion; it's a fact. Just one unhappy customer can cause enough <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bad+publicity" rel="tag">bad publicity</a> to set back the goodwill generated by a thousand happy customers. If you want to counteract this truism, you have to rise above and beyond to make sure the people who had a great experience with your company tell their friends about it. <br /><br /> Certainly, one of the most effective ways to generate positive word of mouth advertising is to enlist the help of those nearest to you. Get them to tell their friends and coworkers about your business. They can do so with full disclosure, or they can act as though they were just customers. Either way can generate good will throughout the community. If they decide to go with the full disclosure method (which may be necessary with their best friends), the people they tell will want to use your business as they will be helping out friends and family they know. If they don't tell people they know you, then they come across as happy customers driven to get the word out. <br /><br /> Since the earliest days of business, when word of mouth advertising was the only means of advertising, nothing has done greater things for companies than to have people saying good things about them. People believe word of mouth advertising in such a way that they will never believe paid ads. Even if this word of mouth advertising has to be created by you in the beginning, it can turn friends, neighbors, coworkers, and their circles of influence into new customers. From there, it should be smooth sailing for you and your new business. Just make certain that once you have the customers, you don't let them down. After all, that one unhappy customer... she makes all the difference. <bio>David Tupica is an affiliate marketer who has found success with Success University. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Many besides network marketers are trying to benefit from <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">word of mouth</a> - that special, honest and transparent talk between people, women especially, about products, TV shows, music, movies, and all manner of things they like and don't like. <br /><br /> The key to the effectiveness of word of mouth, according to Wikepedia, is: <br /><br /> "People are more inclined to believe word of mouth promotion than more formal forms of promotion because the communicator is unlikely to have an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ulterior+motive" rel="tag">ulterior motive</a> (ie.: they are not out to sell you something)..." <br /><br /> To get that kind of chatter, remarkable companies try to create products that are so different, so unique, like TIVO and iPods say, that people WANT to talk about them to each other. Some companies do wild publicity stunts or really neat ads (like Apple's Superbowl ad in the 80's) that get people talking about the product. <br /><br /> That kind of talk is called "buzz." And marketers everywhere crave it for their products above all else, because it's done among people who trust each other (unlike marketers, whom we don't trust). <br /><br /> Now think about most companies that are looking to increase sales. Many think their #1 challenge is coming up with more <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/creative+marketing" rel="tag">creative marketing</a> techniques, rather than more remarkable products. So, when some very clever marketing folks figured out how to take advantage of the talk between people who trust and know each other, these people jumped at it. And now we have <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth+marketing" rel="tag">word of mouth marketing</a>. <br /><br /> "Word of mouth marketing is a term used in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketing+industry" rel="tag">marketing industry</a> to descibe activities that companies undertake to generate favorable word of mouth publicity about products and services." Wikpedia <br /><br /> One form of this is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/buzz+marketing" rel="tag">buzz marketing</a> where people with some influence on the Internet will promote stuff to their IM buddy lists or blog readers, for example, in exchange for products or currency. <br /><br /> Bottom line: a company can buy word of mouth. Including those that haven't created products that are remarkable enough for people to talk up on their own. <br /><br /> The paid word of mouthers get free products, memberships, commissions, whatever. <br /><br /> So, do you think this is word of mouth as normal people understand and use it? <br /><br /> Taking advantage of many people's need for income or free product, some companies promote this kind of behavior among friends regardless of the effect on the relationships they're exploiting. <br /><br /> "We know that the most powerful form of marketing is an advocacy message from a trusted friend," says Steve Knox, Vocalpoint's CEO. <br /><br /> Indeed. Those precious trusted friends are not his to lose. They're yours, and they're the trusted friends of all the hundreds of thousands of people who are being recruited to act in this new predatory manner. <br /><br /> Would you want to know it's happening to you when your friends are talking? (See Should the PandG moms disclose they're "on the take"?) <br /><br /> If yes, then, IF you are doing that kind of promotion, as a network marketer or a paid word of mouth promoter, TELL YOUR PALS UP FRONT. If you love the thing you're talking about, it shouldn't be a problem that you promoting it extra. <br /><br /> Is it really worth risking your relationships for a few bars of soap or a few shekels? <bio>Kim Klaver is Harvard and Stanford educated. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ One of the most common mistakes young businessmen make when jumping into their chosen fields is making the assumption that word of mouth advertising is something that happens by chance. Rest assured, it is not. While providing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/great+customer+service" rel="tag">great customer service</a>, competitive prices, and excellent products will give people something to talk about, it only takes one <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dissatisfied+customer" rel="tag">dissatisfied customer</a> to equal a hundred satisfied ones. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">Word of mouth</a> advertising creates an awareness campaign where your business information travels from person to person, creating a world wind of awareness. For a new business start-up, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth+marketing" rel="tag">word of mouth marketing</a> is often the best and most effective advertising method. <br /><br /> Newspaper print and classified ads can get very expensive, and have lost much of their effectiveness with the popularity of the internet in the past decade. New business owners can't even consider radio or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/television+advertising" rel="tag">television advertising</a> as a viable option. What is left for a home business or small start-up to do to spread the word about their enterprise? <br /><br /> Here are some steps that you can take to start a viral word of mouth marketing campaign about your business: <br /><br /> Acquaintances: Approach your friends, family and neighbors initially, followed by contacting other people you know in your community and beyond. To begin your campaign, you may take a broad approach to spread your information; ultimately streamlining your message to your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/target+market" rel="tag">target market</a>. <br /><br /> Networking: Both online and off, networking is the backbone of the word of mouth marketing. You need to have a large network to build a database of prospective customers. Find forums and other groups where your target market 'hang out.' <br /><br /> Website: It's the Internet age. Establish your website with good, focused keywords to get favorable results from the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/search+engines" rel="tag">search engines</a>. Also, keep your website, user-friendly with easy navigation and complete updated information about everything regarding your business. <br /><br /> Freebies: Everyone loves to get something free. Create a free report or ebook related to your idea or product and give it away to potential customers, asking them to give the item to their friends and family as well. <br /><br /> Mailers: You can use <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/email" rel="tag">email</a> or postcards or pamphlets about your business to inform your acquaintances prior to calling them. <br /><br /> Word of mouth advertising has stood the test of time and is effective for every business. There are simple, affordable methods of starting a viral marketing campaign that will spread like wild fire. By putting into place some or all of the ideas mentioned above, you can create a world of advertising for your business. <bio>Sherry Frewerd publishes 'Website Building Mom' <a href="http://websitebuildingmom.com">http://websitebuildingmom.com</a> where you can find free information, reports and ebooks created to help you build a professional, money-making website. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ A very common misconception among young businessmen who are jumping into their chosen fields is that word of mouth advertising is something that happens by chance. <br /><br /> This is obviously not the case! You must give people something to talk about, through competitive prices, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/great+customer+service" rel="tag">great customer service</a> and excellent products! <br /><br /> Word of mouth actually works in both ways, it actually only takes one <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dissatisfied+customer" rel="tag">dissatisfied customer</a> to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/equal+one" rel="tag">equal one</a> hundred satisfied ones. After all angry people talk a lot louder than those who had a pleasant experience. If you want that word of mouth advertising that will bring in the business, you have to generate it yourself. <br /><br /> What we will do here is look at some of the ways to get people talking (in a good way) about your company, product or service. <br /><br /> As we said earlier, it's harder to get people who are satisfied and pleased with your business to go out and tell one friend than it is to get one <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/angry+customer" rel="tag">angry customer</a> to tell the world. This is human nature and a big roadblock nearly every company most overcome. People love to deliver bad news. They feel they are doing people a great service by telling them to avoid a certain business. Let us not forget, this gives the customer an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/illusion+of+power" rel="tag">illusion of power</a>. If they have enough friends and enough scope of influence, it's more than an illusion; it is a fact. One angry patron can create enough <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bad+publicity" rel="tag">bad publicity</a> to diminish the goodwill garnered by a thousand satisfied customers. What is therefore needed to neutralize this? You have to go above and beyond to make sure the people who had a good experience with your company go and tell their friends about it. Under promise and over deliver. <br /><br /> An easy way to produce positive word of mouth advertising is enlisting the help of those close to you. Get them to tell their friends and coworkers about your business. They can do so with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/full+disclosure" rel="tag">full disclosure</a>, or they can act as though they were just customers. Either way can create goodwill throughout the community. If they opt for the full disclosure method (which may be necessary with their closest friends), the people they tell will naturally want to use your business as they will be helping out people they know. If they don't tell people they know you, then they come across simply as happy customers compelled to get the word out. <br /><br /> Ever since the conception of business, when word of mouth was the only form of advertising available. There is nothing that has been more powerful than the words of the people using the products. People will believe the word of another over any paid advertising campaign. This is even if it has to be generated by you yourself! This can turn friends, neighbors and coworkers and their network of acquaintances into customers. You and your small business can just let it all take over after that. The most important thing is you don't disappoint your customers. Remember, it is just takes one angry customer=85.that can make all the difference. <bio>Muneer Al-Busaidi, is a successful internet marketer and personal development coach. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ There is no question that advertising is the key to the success of any business =96 large or small, new or old. Without advertising and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketing+practices" rel="tag">marketing practices</a> a business simply cannot succeed or last long. To ensure long and lasting success, a business must engage in marketing and advertising in some way. If you have heard the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/old+adage" rel="tag">old adage</a> that "it takes money to make money" then you know that advertising does not come for free. A business must consider an advertising campaign budget to keep its numbers up. <br /><br /> It has been said that the best form of advertising is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">word of mouth</a> advertising. Word of mouth advertising is free and lends an air of credibility to the business. Usually, word of mouth advertising comes from happy and satisfied customers and clients that wish to share their positive experience. Most of the time, they tell their friends, family, and coworkers about a particular product or service and in turn new customers come to the business. <br /><br /> While word of mouth is a wonderful and free way to get the word out about a business, it is not the "be all end all" of advertising. Advertising with television spots, radio spots, on billboards, and in print are all still very effective ways to get the word out. These methods of advertising are quite expensive and not as realistic for many small businesses. <br /><br /> A more economical yet effective way for a business to advertise is online. The Internet is such an integral part of daily life now that it is hard not to advertise on the World Wide Web. The ways in which a business can advertise online are seemingly endless. There are several types of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/email+marketing+campaigns" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/email+marketing+campaign" rel="tag">email marketing campaign</a>s</a>, banner advertising, link advertising, websites, and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/viral+marketing" rel="tag">viral marketing</a>. Usually, to engage in a successful email marketing campaign, a business will send past customers an email to announce new products or specials on their website or in their store. <br /><br /> Many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/business+owners" rel="tag">business owners</a> engage in strategic networking with other business owners in an effort to advertise their businesses. Strategic networking is a way for business owners to meet each other, get the word out about their company, and even to expand their resources and business prospects. <br /><br /> One of the newest ways to get the word out about your business and successfully advertise is through social networking. Social networking is much like strategic networking in that it is usually free and occurs through meeting and discussing issues and products. However, social networking is done through modern media such as websites, blogs, and the Internet community. It is highly effective and inexpensive. <br /><br /> Regardless of the method of advertising used, a business must use constant advertising campaigns to keep success on the horizon. In essence this means convincing potential customers to buy from you instead of from someone else. <bio>John Corcoran is a retired High School Teacher in NSW, Australia. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Some people say that they're the same - <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">word of mouth</a> and network marketing. <br /><br /> Tom "Big Al" Schreiter, for example, has taught for years that recommending your product or business is like recommending a restaurant - only you don't get paid when you're recommending the restaurant. <br /><br /> While network marketers do speak to others about their wares, the 95% drop out rate in NM tells me that the "words of mouth" in NM are somehow not the same. People everywhere still recommend restaurants, movies and a host of other things to friends, but most network marketers have given up recommending their wares long ago. <br /><br /> What's the story here? Why the wildly different results? <br /><br /> Word of mouth and NM are both the same and not the same. Same in the sense that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/people+talk" rel="tag">people talk</a> to each other about things in both. But there the similarity stops. <br /><br /> Many marketers (not just network marketers) have latched onto the phrase word of mouth because it has been the most effective means so far to market products. <br /><br /> Here's how it's defined in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wikpedia" rel="tag">Wikpedia</a>: <a href="http://en.<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wikipedia" rel="tag">wikipedia</a>.org/wiki/Word_of_mouth">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Word_of_mouth</a> <br /><br /> "Word of mouth (WOM) is the passing of information by verbal means, especially recommendations, but also general information, in an informal, person-to-person manner, rather than by mass media, advertising, organized publication, or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/traditional+marketing" rel="tag">traditional marketing</a>... <br /><br /> Word of mouth promotion is highly valued by marketers. It is felt that this form of communication has valuable source credibility. People are more inclined to believe word of mouth promotion than more formal forms of promotion because the communicator is unlikely to have an ulterior motive (ie.: they are not out to sell you something)...Also people tend to believe people that they know." (Emphasis added.) <br /><br /> In his eye-opening book "The Tipping Point ( <a href="http://www.bananamarketing.com/library.html">http://www.bananamarketing.com/library.html</a> ), <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/malcolm+gladwell" rel="tag">Malcolm Gladwell</a> discusses those people ("Connectors" and "Mavens") who start word of mouth discussions that create <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/major+marketing" rel="tag">major marketing</a> successes. <br /><br /> "What sets Mavens apart...is the fact that [they] want to help, for no other reason than because they like to help. That turns out to be an awfully effective way of getting someone's attention." <br /><br /> He then brings up Paul Revere... <br /><br /> "News of the British march did not come by fax, or by means of a group email. It wasn't broadcast on the nightly news, surrounded by commercials. It was carried by a man, a volunteer, riding on a cold night with no personal agenda other than a concern for the liberty of his peers..." <br /><br /> And last, he gives a restaurant example.. <br /><br /> "And why are the Zagat restaurant guides so popular?..Their real power derives from the fact that the reviews are the report of volunteers - of diners who want to share their opinions with others. Somehow, that represents a more compelling recommendation that the opinion of an expert whose job it is to rate restuarants." (Emphasis added.) <br /><br /> The difference, it appears, is in the motivation. Love? Or money? <br /><br /> In network marketing, many people DO love their products; so for them, that part of the word of mouth works. But then, when they come to the money part - the part where the listener finds out the speaker is selling it or benefitting in some material way when the other buys - that's the moment the word of mouth spell is broken. The trust has gone. The relationship has been abused, ( <a href="http://kimklaverblogs.blogspot.com/2006/04/who-else-wants-to-abuse-their-friends.html">http://kimklaverblogs.blogspot.com/2006/04/who-else-wants-to-abuse-their-friends.html</a>" ) according to tens of thousands of people. <br /><br /> Two suggestions for network marketers: <br /><br /> 1. If in your soul, you feel this difference between marketing and word of mouth like I do, stop telling prospects that NM is like recommending a restaurant. And don't nag your people about going to their friends. It likely means they too, have discovered this difference first hand. Most people would rather keep their special relationships. It's not worth it to them to risk friendships by selling to their friends. (See Stella's story: <a href="http://www.bananamarketing.com/paperback.html">http://www.bananamarketing.com/paperback.html</a> in If My Product's So Great, How Come I Can't Sell It?) <br /><br /> 2. Train your folks to ALWAYS tell up front that they are marketing the product they're talking about. FIRST thing, before the gushing starts. I don't know of anyone, anywhere, who wouldn't rather buy from someone who loves their product line, who uses it, and who wants to make a difference in the lives of others by spreading the word. We ALL buy stuff anyway, so that's not the problem. Just don't hide it. You have to reveal it at some point. So why not do it up front? <br /><br /> NEXT: Buzz marketing - Is it word of mouth (WOM)? <bio>Kim Klaver is Harvard and Stanford educated. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/" rel="tag"></a> So you've decided it's time to look into ways to make money online? And you're suddenly noticing tons and tons of opportunities that all look just great? <br /><br /> Think again. Yes, you can start a home internet business and make money online, work at home in your jimmies and take a plethora of breaks with your kids any time you want. But if it were as easy as it seems, wouldn't everybody be doing just that? <br /><br /> Of course they would. So take your time and do the research before you jump at the first glitzy ad you see. It will make all the difference. <br /><br /> One of the fastest up-and-coming methods to make money online is with an affiliate programe. Very simply put, an affiliate programe is one that pays you, the affiliate, for business references. (Or, if you're the merchant who wants to sell something, the affiliate programe provides you with marketing leads from around the world.) <br /><br /> Affiliate marketing is the cyber variation of the oldest marketing ploy ever created, word of mouth references. And it's not only the oldest it's the best. Why? Because everybody wins. <br /><br /> You say you have no product or service to sell? Get on the affiliate marketing bandwagon and have a field day referring others. Got something to market but not enough time or money to tell the whole world? Get yourself a cornucopia of affiliates all over the planet, they'll spread the word. <br /><br /> There are other business opportunities to make money online, but they generally pale in comparison. Whatever you do, in your search for a lucrative business opportunity online, take enough time at the outset to make an informed choice. Consider for a moment whether you know anybody making serious money online. Chances are they're working some form of this tried and true word of mouth marketing: affiliate marketing. <br /><br /> It's where your word is truly as good as gold. <bio>About The Author Please Visite our website at <a href="http://www.make2ndincome.com" >http://www.make2ndincome.com</a> for information. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Every successful online marketer says this is the bar-none, top-of-the-list, number one way to guaranteed success for any online venture. <br /><br /> What Is it? <br /><br /> Any marketer knows that nothing beats <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">word of mouth</a> advertising. It is simply the most powerful and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cost+effective+advertising" rel="tag">cost effective advertising</a> ever known. Even before the days of the Internet. Word of mouth advertising got every business where it is today. Many entrepreneurs never have and never will <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/spend+money" rel="tag">spend money</a> on advertising. Their entire business comes from people telling other people about their product or service.Could you imagine never <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/spending+money" rel="tag">spending money</a> on advertising, but always having a steady stream of customers on your door step begging for your product or service. <br /><br /> This word of mout is what we call <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/viral+marketing" rel="tag">viral marketing</a>. <br /><br /> However, word of mouth does not come easily. There is one catch to running a business only on word of mouth advertising. You must be selling an outstanding product or service. If you sell crap, the only word of mouth advertising you'll have is negative. <br /><br /> I'm sure you've heard the expression before. A satisfied customer will tell three people about your product or service, an unsatisfied customer will tell ten. <br /><br /> If your customers aren't happy you'll have to work ten times harder and spend more money on advertising to sell your product. <br /><br /> There are two ways you can benefit from positive word of mouth. These are: <br /><br /> 1. It's free advertising. This is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/self+explanatory" rel="tag">self explanatory</a>. The less you have to spend on advertising, the more money you can put in your pocket and back into your business. <br /><br /> 2. People are endorsing your product or service. Having someone endorse your product puts you at a greater advantage. When someone tells their friend about the positive experience they've had with your product, there is instant trust. People trust their friends. If a friend says your product is it, they'll instantly trust you. Trust is a huge barrier to break down when it come to selling anything, online or off. <br /><br /> The one way I have found to work well with positive word of mouth is list building.List building by refering like ten people from your own effort and then these ten will go on to build your list up to a big size. <br /><br /> To give you an idea of how powerful word of mouth advertising can be in helping you to build your list, take a look below. Your list can grow exponentially without you ever even having to lift a finger again. This is a whole new way to LEVERAGE your efforts into a MEGALIST of monstrous proportions! <br /><br /> Let's say you enroll SEVEN people from your paid advertising or any other form of advertising Seven is still pretty conservative for a completely FREE program... And let's say each of those 7 also told 7 people and enrolled them And each of those also enrolled 7 people and so on <br /><br /> That would look like this: <br /><br /> YOU 1x7<br /><br />Members =7 7x7<br /><br />Members =49 49x7<br /><br />Members =343 343 x7 Members =2,401 2,401x7 Members =16,807 <br /><br /> TOTAL: 19,607 Members <br /><br /> That is 19,607 subscribers you get to mail to! And you only referred seven subscribers yourself! <br /><br /> Want to run the example with 10 referrals each? (That'd be a whopping 111,110 subscribers!) Or 20? I <br /><br /> won't even do the math on that one, because frankly, you wouldn't believe the numbers! <br /><br /> You get the idea. More and more people just keep learning about your business all through friends and associates. And it's all free advertising! <br /><br /> If you think the above numbers are a bit of an overstatement think again. Go to <a href="http://Google.com" >http://Google.com</a> right now and do a search on Autoresponder Magic. Autoresponder Magic is an eBook that was written by Yanik Siler several years ago. More than 80,000 web sites advertise his Ebook on their sites right now for <br /><br /> FREE! <br /><br /> When Yanik started out several years ago he didn't even know what an Ebook was. Today he has more traffic coming to his site in a day than most web sites do in a life time. <br /><br /> That is how powerful viral marketing is. Do not skimpon using it. You can set up your viral marketing system to build your list by using ebooks, writing free articles and others. <bio>Visit Lubowa.M.Planet viral Internet marketing websites. For Marketing Visit: <a href="http://www.conqueryourniche.com/forum/planetlubs" >http://www.conqueryourniche.com/forum/planetlubs</a> For List Building visit: <a href="http://www.most-important-marketing-tools.com/marketing.html" >http://www.most-important-marketing-tools.com/marketing.html</a> For 127 marketing software visit: <a href="http://www.most-important-marketing-tools.com" >http://www.most-important-marketing-tools.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dental+health" rel="tag">Dental health</a> is very important to us all. Unless you want to have a full mouth of dentures by the time you're 40, it's essential for you. Unfortunately, there is no exact set of rules that everyone can follow to get the same results. Everyone's mouth is very different. Depending on what food you eat, what medicine you take, and your oral hygiene, your mouth is very different from someone else's. This is why it is very difficult for some to take care of their mouth, while it may be very easy for you. <br /><br /> Think about this for a second. All of us know someone who brushes three times a day, flosses and they still have cavities when they go to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dentist" rel="tag">dentist</a>. You may be lucky enough that you only brush once a day and you always have a good checkup. While a uniform code of conduct is just not possible, you can come up with a plan for you. In fact, you must do this. Developing a routine that works for you is very important to your dental health. <br /><br /> In order to do this, you must visit the dentist regularly. By regularly I don't mean once a week, but maybe a few times per year. Consult with your dentist while there about a proper routine. Your dentist should be able to tell you what is best for your mouth. After all, they do see every angle of it during a checkup. If you're on medication, there's a chance that you experience dry-mouth. This condition affects your dental health greatly. <br /><br /> Your diet also has a great deal to do with how healthy your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/teeth" rel="tag">teeth</a> are. Obviously, if you eat sweets frequently, you'll need to take better care of your teeth than someone who doesn't. If you sleep with your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mouth+open" rel="tag">mouth open</a>, you're more likely to develop <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gingivitis" rel="tag">gingivitis</a>. Many people have sleep conditions that only allow them to breathe through their mouth. All of these factors must be taken into consideration when formulating a routine for your mouth. Your dentist can help you sort through all of these things and find a plan that works for you. <bio>Visit Natural <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gum+disease+treatment" rel="tag">Gum Disease Treatment</a> to learn how to cure gingivitis and bleeding gums: <a href="http://www.gumdisease-treatment.com/" >http://www.gumdisease-treatment.com/</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ When opening a private practice the number one way, and best way, to generate new patients is by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">word of mouth</a>. During my first year in practice word of mouth brought in more new patients than any other venue we used. Ask yourself, would you prefer to pick your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dentist" rel="tag">dentist</a> thumbing through the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/phone+book" rel="tag">phone book</a>, or would you rather visit a dentist you have heard great things about from a friend or family member. While a phone book listing or ad may not be a bad idea, a personal referral from someone who knows you is far more superior. Your first resource to getting word of mouth referrals when opening a new practice is by educating your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/friends+and+family" rel="tag">friends and family</a>. Remember they are the beginning and sometimes the foundation for your network. <br /><br /> Due to the fact that less than 25% of the population is currently under <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chiropractic+care" rel="tag">chiropractic care</a>, many people do not understand the complete benefits of going to the chiropractor. Do not make the mistake of letting your friends and family think that you are only a "back doctor." This will limit the amount of people they are able to reach for you and your practice. If someone in your network doesn't know that you can help a potential patient with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/carpal+tunnel+syndrome" rel="tag">carpal tunnel syndrome</a> then they will never be able to tell others how easily you can help. A simple way to put it to your friends, family and patients is, "If it is a muscle or a joint think of me." <br /><br /> Once your friends and family know who you can help they can refer you patients. Once the patients are in your office it is again up to you to educate them. Every patient in your practice should know every condition you can help with. By literature, word of mouth or constant reminders let your patients know how you can help them, their loved ones and acquaintances. I will never forget one patient I treated during my internship at <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/parker+college+of+chiropractic" rel="tag">Parker College of Chiropractic</a>. He was a 47 year-old doctor of veterinary medicine with chronic low back pain. Seven weeks into our treatment plan he asked me one afternoon, "Can chiropractic treatments help migraines?" I said, "Yes, why do you ask?" He then began to explain to me that he had been plagued with a migraine headache at least once a month for the past 15 years. Then he said he had not had a migraine since he started treatment seven weeks ago. Since I treated the whole spine, not just the low back, he had not only experienced relief in his low back but he was also relieved of migraine headaches. I apologized to him. He asked why are you apologizing I feel great! I said I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner.<br /><br /><br /><br /> From that point on I realized that not everyone knows everything about chiropractic that I do. Do you think that patient will tell everyone he comes into contact with that has migraines about his chiropractor now? Definitely!<br /><br /><br /><br /> A good way to constantly remind patients of other conditions you treat is to expand a little about the area of the spine you are adjusting on them. If you are treating their low back ask them, "do you have or have you ever had pain down the back of your leg?" This is a good question to ask anyways. Whether they say yes or no, this is a great time to explain to them that you see a lot of patients with sciatica and that you can help anyone they might know with pain down the back of the legs. It has been my experience that most patients will say right then and there I do have a friend with that type of pain. The more people you are able to help the better. <bio>Provided by Dr. Ryan Marshall of Marshall Chiropractic and Wellness Center, <a href="http://www.marshallchiropractic.com/" >http://www.marshallchiropractic.com/</a> . </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Tips For Promoting Your Site On The Internet <br /><br /> There are myriad methods to promote a website. An online entrepreneur is faced with so many choices that it's hard to commit to a decision that will result in an effective and informative campaign. There are so many factors to take into consideration: <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/target+market" rel="tag">target market</a>, startup costs, budget, minimum and maximum traffic capabilities, and more.<br /><br /><br /><br /> And whoever said that any publicity is good publicity clearly wasn't in the business of online business. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bad+word" rel="tag">Bad word</a>-of-mouth is to good word-of-mouth what the hare was to the tortoise=85except bad word-of-mouth ensures your site will never see the end of the race. Determining which method of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/site+promotion" rel="tag">site promotion</a> will best fit your business takes experimentation, diligence, and patience.<br /><br /> <br /><br /> There are three great ways to start exploring site promotion methods: <br /><br /> 1 Article submission. Articles are a great way to put your business out there in a positive light. They'll allow for re-distribution to many publishing sites, as well as provide name recognition in the experts' circles of your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/target+audience" rel="tag">target audience</a>. Articles give you a forum to display your knowledge without seeing pushy about your product.<br /><br /><br /><br /> 2 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/social+networking" rel="tag">Social networking</a>. You started your business because you thought it would be a great idea; find other people who would identify with that and network with them. You'll be able to reach people with a common mindset and shared interests. Internet social networking categorizes the participants for you, so you know right away that your time will be worth it.<br /><br /><br /><br /> 3 Think outside the net. Your potential customers aren't just online, they're everywhere. You can <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/distribute+flyers" rel="tag">distribute flyers</a>, brochures, and leaflets with your web address on them. This will encourage your audience to purposely go to your site and not get sidetracked along the way. Manual marketing can generate great feedback, and it will give you a break to get out from behind your screen for a while. <bio>sYou can get a free copy of our latest ebook "The 7 Keys To Business Success" by clicking here: <a href="http://www.bizraves.com/is" >http://www.bizraves.com/is</a> . <content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/selling+your+home+by+owner" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/selling+your+home" rel="tag">Selling your home</a> by owner</a> can be both a joyous and stressful occasion. While you are probably interested in getting rid of your home so that you can move on, the act of doing this is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/easier+said+than+done" rel="tag">easier said than done</a>. There are a lot of people who have tried selling by owner just to end up with an agent after a month or so. If you are going to avoid being one of these sellers, you need to know how to get started. To get started selling your home by owner you need to let it be known that your property is available. This can be done in a number of different ways, and the more ideas you implement the better off you are going to be. <br /><br /> Just like most sellers, you are going to want to start by putting a for sale by owner sign in your yard. You should be able to buy one of these at your local hardware store for a few bucks. In most cases you will only need one of these, but some people with a big yard decide that a couple will work out best. In addition to the proper signage, you also need to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/take+the+time" rel="tag">take the time</a> to market your home. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/this+means+that" rel="tag">This means that</a> you should pay for ads both online and off. The more ads that you take out the better chance you have of selling your home by owner. Remember, there is no agent working for you so you need to do all of the marketing tasks on your own. <br /><br /> Finally, build some buzz through <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth+marketing" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">word of mouth</a> marketing</a>. Tell all of your neighbors that you are selling your home by owner, and ask them to spread the word. You may find out that they have a friend looking to move into the neighborhood, and you could get a sale before you ever thought possible. Many sellers have found that word of mouth marketing is not only the cheapest, but that it is also the most effective. Unfortunately, it is also the marketing technique that is the most overlooked. As you can see, selling your home by owner is all about getting off to a good start. When you take the time to get all the details in order, the rest of the process will fall into place just as you have dreamt of it happening! <br /><br /> For Rental Properties in Mumbai(Bombay), India check the link <a href="http://www.bharathrentals.com/browse/all/all/Mumbai" >http://www.bharathrentals.com/browse/all/all/Mumbai</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for rental portal <a href="http://www.BharathRentals.com" >http://www.BharathRentals.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ If you are <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/suffering" rel="tag">suffering</a> from Halitosis and you aren't sure what you can do about it, you should know there is a lot of mystery that goes along with halitosis. Knowing exactly what you are dealing with is the best way you can take control of the situation and figure out a way for it not to be a part of your life any more. <br /><br /> Causes Are Simple <br /><br /> The first thing that you have to be aware of when it comes to dealing with halitosis is the causes are rather simple. <br /><br /> There are only three main causes of halitosis: <br /><br /> 1)rotting or decaying food in your mouth 2)infection 3)<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dry+mouth" rel="tag">dry mouth</a> <br /><br /> These three things will cause embarrassing halitosis. They all work in similar ways. Each of these situations in your mouth causes bacteria to grow. This <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bacterium" rel="tag">bacterium</a> thrives in your mouth and ends up being the source of your halitosis. <br /><br /> Explore Deeper <br /><br /> If you are suffering from halitosis and you don't know what to do about it, don't worry! The first thing you have to do is figure out which of the three causes you have and discover why your bacteria is forming. You will most likely find that if you have <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chronic+halitosis" rel="tag">chronic halitosis</a>, it is not the result of rotting food. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/this+means+that" rel="tag">This means that</a> it is either an infection or dry mouth that is causing your chronic bad breath. <br /><br /> There are several things that might cause each of these to happen. If you have an infection it can be one of many things, including: <br /><br /> =95abscesses =95gum disease =95impacted teeth <br /><br /> These three cases <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cause+bacteria" rel="tag">cause bacteria</a> to grow in your mouth, which causes the halitosis to occur. The other major cause of chronic halitosis is dry mouth, which is caused by several things. <br /><br /> The causes of dry mouth can be: <br /><br /> =95speaking excessively =95changing your diet or exercise routine =95using a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prescription+medication" rel="tag">prescription medication</a> =95consuming alcohol or tobacco =95too much caffeine <br /><br /> When you have one or more of these situations, you may find that the bacterium is more likely to grow, leading to increased halitosis. <br /><br /> If you want to help your chronic halitosis, the best thing you can do is figure out why you are having it in the first place. You should explore by yourself and with your dentist to find out what's really going on in your mouth. Once you have discovered the source of your bad breath, you will be able to take steps to take care of it. The best way to make sure you can rid yourself of halitosis is to also make sure that your mouth is always clean and healthy. Remember that the best way to keep your mouth clean and healthy is to brush regularly and be observant of what you are putting into your mouth. Using natural health care products without alcohol (like most mouthwashes contain) are the most appropriate products for your mouth! <bio>Taylor Clarke writes articles dealing with health and dental issues including <a href="http://clicktrak.net/t/go.php?c=ad2" >http://clicktrak.net/t/go.php?c=ad2</a>, periodontal disease, gingivitis, canker sores and more. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Gum disease, or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/periodontal+disease" rel="tag">periodontal disease</a> is not an enjoyable experience! If you want to avoid gum disease, or if you already have it and want to fight it, read this article. <br /><br /> Symptoms of Gum Disease <br /><br /> How do you know if you have gum disease? Here are some of the symptoms you should look for. Often you will notice inflammation of the gums and mouth -- soreness, bleeding, and/or redness. Another common symptom is bed breath (a.k.a. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/halitosis" rel="tag">Halitosis</a>), and / or a bad taste in your mouth. Other signs of gum disease include shaky or loose teeth, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/receding+gums" rel="tag">receding gums</a>, and spaces between the teeth and gums. <br /><br /> Cause Of Gum Disease <br /><br /> What causes gum disease? Quite simply, gum disease is caused by bacteria growing in your mouth. These bacteria normally begin growing on particles of food left in your mouth. The infection then continues to grow, causing inflammation and breakdown of the gums and mouth. <br /><br /> Prevention Of Gum Disease <br /><br /> Gum disease can be prevented by discouraging the growth of bacteria in the mouth. Proper dental hygiene goes a long way in preventing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bacteria+growth" rel="tag">bacteria growth</a> in the mouth. Also helpful is a healthy diet low in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/refined+sugars" rel="tag">refined sugars</a> and other foods that make perfect bacteria fodder. <br /><br /> Treatment of Gum Disease <br /><br /> If you already have Gum Disease, there are several ways to treat it. The first and seemingly most common is a professional cleaning. A periodontist will clean your mouth to remove the plaque, etc that harbors the bacteria causing the disease. Drugs may also be used to treat gum disease. Recently, several natural treatments have been developed for gum disease as well. <br /><br /> Hopefully, the information in this article will have given you the information that you need to prevent and / or treat gum disease, also known as periodontal disease. Trust me when I say that you don't want to get gum disease -- it's worth preventing, and prevention is simple when you follow the steps outlined in this article! <bio>Learn more about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gum+disease+treatment" rel="tag">gum disease treatment</a> at <a href="http://www.<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gumdisease" rel="tag">gumdisease</a>-treatment.com">http://www.gumdisease-treatment.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ For a long time the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/newspaper+classifieds" rel="tag">newspaper classifieds</a> and word of mouth were the only two ways you could <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/find+a+job" rel="tag">find a job</a> without going door knocking. Note that word of mouth is still perhaps the best way to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/search+for+jobs" rel="tag">search for jobs</a>, as over 60% of jobs are never publicly listed. As the saying goes, it's not what you know but who you know (and how you manage to use your connections). <br /><br /> If you're like most people, you need to eat. Eating requires money to buy food, unless you're privy to some handy barter scheme, and unless you've won the inheritance lottery you're going to need to work for you <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/food+money" rel="tag">food money</a>. Which means you need to find a job. Sure, you could make do walking door-to-door and looking for help wanted signs, but the most efficient way to search for jobs is going to be through the internet. <br /><br /> Ask relatives, past business associates, and friends if they know of anyone who's hiring. This can be especially important if you're <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/looking+for+a+job" rel="tag">looking for a job</a> in a particular field. If you can't score anything by word of mouth, the classifieds may still be worth a read, but many newspapers publish their classifieds online anyway, so an internet search will still make things easier while keeping your options open. <br /><br /> Two of the most-used and therefore most helpful <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/job+search+sites" rel="tag">job search sites</a> are <a href="<a href="http://craigslist.com">http://craigslist.com</a>"><a href="http://craigslist.com">http://craigslist.com</a></a> and <a href="http://monster.com">http://monster.com.</a>. As with most forms of communication, the sites with the most traffic are often the most helpful (it doesn't do you any good to own the only telephone). <a href="http://Monster.com">http://Monster.com</a> and <a href="<a href="http://craigslist.com">http://craigslist.com</a>"><a href="http://craigslist.com">http://craigslist.com</a></a> have thousands of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/job+posts" rel="tag">job posts</a> every day, and both are searchable by geographic locale, employment type, and salary. You can also post your resume and allow recruiters to come to you. <br /><br /> Many other smaller websites allow you to search for jobs in your immediate area or in your area of expertise, though the latter listings are often nationwide. It is important to note that not all internet job postings are what they seem; any recruiter who asks you to pay money before you start is probably running some sort of a scam, pyramid or otherwise. <br /><br /> Imagine if you were to apply for a job in your hometown and the business owner offered to hire you, but first wanted a $5 bill. These internet scams, often billed as "work at home" opportunities, are equally dubious. <br /><br /> However, if you stick to legitimate sites and present yourself as an attractive job candidate, the internet will allow you to search for jobs faster and easier than searching through the daily newspaper with a highlighter. <bio>Find out more about searching for jobs. <a href="http://searchforjobs.info/">http://searchforjobs.info/</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Even in today's world, when the consumer is bombarded with a large number of messages through the media at all times, communication still takes place in the most powerful way through <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/human+contact" rel="tag">human contact</a> and, in particular, through the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/human+voice" rel="tag">human voice</a>. People are more likely to trust those who are known to them. When those people recommend or endorse certain services or products, because their experience with these services or products has been positive, it can be termed as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth+marketing" rel="tag">word of mouth marketing</a>. <br /><br /> Potential consumers, it has been found, tend to believe information received from other people more than that provided in advertisements or brochures. Slogans and campaigns elicit a lot of distrust as well as fatigue among people. This could be because the information offered in these is packaged in a particular way and is not provided straight up. <br /><br /> So, for any <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/communications+effort" rel="tag">communications effort</a> to be successful, a word of mouth component has to be an integral part of it. More <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/traditional+channels" rel="tag">traditional channels</a> of communication like <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/direct+mailers" rel="tag">direct mailers</a> and the electronic as well as print media can, of course, complement word of mouth marketing, even as these cannot replace it. <br /><br /> Word of mouth can be employed not only by the customer service and marketing functions of an organization, but by any of the stakeholders, in order to articulate its mission. This can be used to its advantage, even further, by communicating the strategies clearly to all concerned, so that the message is passed on unambiguously, whenever they speak to others among their family members, friends, business associates, in addition to customers. <br /><br /> The organization's values can be demonstrated and information can be shared with customers or clients, every time any member of the organization or any of its affiliates interacts with them. They should not only be provided with sufficient information, in order to acquaint them with the organization, but also treated with dignity and respect. Besides sharing the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/latest+happenings" rel="tag">latest happenings</a> related to the organization and its plans for the future, they should be asked for their views and opinions regarding areas where they see scope for improvement and all that the organization appears to be doing well for them. In addition to questions being asked, they should also be listened to properly, especially about the needs that they expect to be fulfilled by the organization's services or products. <br /><br /> Such exchanges can lead to: <br /><br /> 1. Learning, as a result of interaction with the customer 2. An opportunity to acquaint the customer with vital information 3. An opportunity to build a relationship with the customer <br /><br /> Being honest and, therefore, believable, is the primary criterion for the success of word of mouth marketing. This implies that the organization delivers all that it promises to and all messages emanating from it are clear and accurate. It also implies that all interactions are respectful and, yet, straightforward, even when everything does not happen according to plan and that the customers' inputs are valued by the organization at all times, including when a situation involves conflict. <br /><br /> A vital role that word of mouth can play is to obtain information that may not be available at all through other sources. Every member of a business organization who comes in contact with existing or prospective clients or customers has the opportunity to glean such information from them. <br /><br /> It is important to understand that all organization members should be involved in brand building, since the brand is impacted by how other people, especially customers or clients, existing or prospective, are treated by them. This is on account of the fact that rather than brands that are inanimate, people tend to be more loyal to fellow human beings and their loyalty to a brand can be affected to a very large extent by their loyalty towards the people who represent that brand, at least for them. A brand's success, obviously, is directly proportional to the number of repeat customers that it can attract. <br /><br /> Every instance in which an organization member interacts with a client or customer is an opportunity to capture information that can be more credible for prospective clients or customers than any of the company's slogans. Permission can be requested from the clients or customers to share stories of success with availing of the company's services or using its products. Additionally, referrals can be sought and followed up with due diligence. A brand being recommended by one person to others can have immense positive impact. <bio>When looking for more information and resources related to marketing Private Label and Master Resell Rights Products, viral marketing, e-book marketing, internet marketing resources and ecommerce, visit <a href="http://www.moneytreecentral.com" >http://www.moneytreecentral.com</a> for complete details. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Small businesses are very tightly squeezed for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cash+flow" rel="tag">cash flow</a>, but we know that we need to get our messages out there if we want to grow and find new customers. As each of our businesses grow, we know that most of our customers and clients will come as a results of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/word+of+mouth" rel="tag">word of mouth</a> advertising. However, we also know that we need to implement a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/direct+mail" rel="tag">direct mail</a> strategy to help us expand our reach. <br /><br /> Word of mouth advertising is a great way to grow our businesses, mainly because a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/happy+customer" rel="tag">happy customer</a> will spread the word about your great product or service. They will likely tell a friend. That's why we must keep on advertising. But how do you do it effectively when you have a limited budget and you have to worry about cash flow, payroll, inventory, rent, etc.? <br /><br /> I want to show you that you need to implement a direct <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mail+strategy" rel="tag">mail strategy</a> and I will share with you what I have learned in the process of developing one for my own companies. <br /><br /> We started out as a small company. We were operating in a few cities only and grew the company to the point where we were operating in 394 cities, 81 markets, 19 states and 3 countries. All this took quite a long time to achieve, so in no way was it a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/overnight+success" rel="tag">overnight success</a>. Sometimes we had some of our locations that were short on capital and we had to help them find ways to advertise to get the most for their advertising dollar. The most effective method we found very helpful in reaching our goals was direct mail, we implemented a direct mail strategy. <br /><br /> I would like for you to start thinking how you can develop a direct mail strategy for your business. You should think of the options you have to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gain+publicity" rel="tag">gain publicity</a>, advertising, marketing, PR, and how your direct mail strategy can come together with all of that. You need to keep an open mind and consider all the options when using a direct mail strategy. <br /><br /> My point in writing this is not to get you to spend all your money following a direct mail strategy; rather it's to get you to consider how it could benefit your company, business or non-profit organization. <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
