If your business produces any type of hazardous waste, it's important that you ensure that you dispose of it properly and in accordance with the relevant legislation. Failure to remove and dispose of this waste properly could result in prosecution and a fine.

As a business, you can produce a wide range of hazardous waste, depending on the type of business and any manufacturing processes you run. Different types of waste must be destroyed in different ways, which must be environmentally friendly, safe and legal.

The best way for business owners and managers to dispose of hazardous waste is to hire a specialist contractor. UK Professional contractors must be registered with the Environment Agency and must be able to dispose of the waste in the recommended manner. Waste disposal companies with substantial knowledge and experience can not only collect and dispose of the waste you produce, but can help you plan for the safe disposal of the waste you produce, and handle the necessary paperwork, which provides a chain of evidence that you must be able to produce when asked.

A good hazardous waste disposal contractor will:

• Look at the waste products your business produces • Help you to identify and classify the waste you produce • Draw up a schedule for the one-off or regular collection and disposal of waste • Collect, remove and dispose of the waste in a safe and legal manner • Help with completion of the relevant paperwork to prove compliant disposal

As the business owner or manager, you are legally responsible for what happens to the hazardous waste you produce, up to the point where it is finally disposed of, recovered or recycled. If it is discovered that you have failed to ensure the legal disposal of the waste you produce, you could receive a large fine. That's why it's vital that you use the services of a registered, experienced waste disposal contractor. <bio>Envirogreen is a leading UK hazardous waste disposal company, which can help businesses and homeowners get rid of hazardous waste safely and legally.
Environmental and health concerns have led to a widening of the definition of "hazardous waste". Most people assume that this term refers only to toxic, chemical or industrial waste, but in fact all businesses are probably now producing some form of hazardous waste that needs to be disposed of carefully and legally.

So, how do you know if you're about to throw away something that's classified as hazardous waste? Follow the checklist below, which isn't exhaustive, but which does cover everyday business items that you might throw in the skip without thinking about it:

• Fluorescent strip lighting • Acid lead, mercury and NiCad batteries • Pesticides, including domestic garden pesticides • Certain paints and decorating products • Oils • Solvents • Aerosols • Redundant IT equipment • Old televisions • Scrap cars • Fridges, freezers and air conditioning systems • Chemical, manufacturing or other industrial waste

If your business produces waste in any of these areas, you need to be sure that you are arranging legal disposal. In the UK, many local authorities have put aside areas at public waste sites where you can dispose of small quantities of hazardous waste, but if you produce any of the above regularly, or in any volume, you must arrange for a registered company to collect and dispose of it.

If you are unsure about the classification of the waste your business produces, then seek the advice of an expert. Hazardous waste disposal companies have the knowledge and experience to help you identify and categorise the waste you produce and give you advice on putting together a disposal plan. Depending on how much waste you produce, you can set up a regular collection facility which ensures that your waste is never allowed to build up beyond acceptable levels, and is always disposed of legally and safely.

If you don't have any provision for hazardous waste disposal, or you didn't realise that some of the items in the above list had be classified as hazardous, then you need to get advice as soon as possible. <bio>Envirogreen is a leading UK hazardous waste disposal company, which can help businesses and homeowners get rid of hazardous waste safely and legally.
In the other articles I have written about managing your home improvement build projects, the key point of advice always comes back to planning ahead. This may seem an obvious thing to do, but it actually translates into making a few simple decisions, which some people just find hard to do. Skip hire is a prime example where going ahead without a plan will certainly involve you spending more money. The main planning considerations for skip hire involve, where you are going to site the skip, how long you need to keep it for, what you are going to dispose of in the skip and how easily the skip company vehicle is going to access your site.

Let's look at the costs. You will pay the skip company a basic fee to hire the skip for their standard period of hire - this is normally based on the size of the skip. The thinking being that smaller skips are quicker to fill than larger ones. You will then pay extra charges if you need to keep the skip longer than the standard period, if you overfill the skip, if the skip is sited on a public highway ( because you will probably need a local authority licence) and additional charges if you dispose of certain non-inert waste. In the UK, landfill tax applies for non-inert waste and is currently charged at around £24 per tonne. More hazardous waste types, like asbestos, need special handling and will cost even more.

So how do you keep the costs down? Don't hire the skip until you really need it and until you have enough waste to fill it. Don't mix non-inert waste with other waste - otherwise you'll pay additional charges on every load. Don't hire a skip so big that the vehicle cannot access your site easily. If the vehicle is damaged whilst delivering to your location you may be liable. Also be careful where you site the skip - delivery vehicles are very heavy and can easily damage weak driveways. No point in hiring a £200 skip and then getting a £2000 driveway repair bill! <bio>Marcus Brooks is a writer and publisher of a variety of home improvement and building resources.
There are many ways that you can waste money on your car. The more money that you waste, the less that stays in your pocket, where it can be used for more valuable and important things, like paying off debt, saving for your children's college education or simply building an emergency fund.

However, you can't do anything about it until you realize that you are wasting money. Once you understand these car-related, money leaks, you can do something about them. Some common leaks are getting repairs done at the dealership, paying for car washes, buying too much insurance, buying an extended warranty too soon, paying for basic maintenance that can be performed at home and going by the dealer's maintenance schedule. All of these things waste your hard earned cash. It's time to stop giving your money away needlessly and instead, keeping it in your pocket.

The key is to be able to make the repairs needed to your car as they are needed without having to seek the help of a mechanic. Most people think car problems are trouble and can't be fixed but often you can simply take your vehicle into the garage and do the needed repairs yourself, which can save you a ton of money in the long-run. Mechanics charge by the hour and usually charge a hefty fee for looking at your car so anything that you can do yourself should be done.

There will be some instances where you can't repair the car yourself but most time this shouldn't happen unless a part actually becomes disabled. For minor repairs and check-ups you can easily educate yourself on the topics and do it yourself thus saving hundreds if not thousands of dollars. Even the smaller things such as car washes should be avoided because it can easily be done by you without then need of paying for it to be completed. Most people are just lazy and would rather spend the money on these minor repairs but when you're looking to save money on your vehicle expenses then this is the best way.

There are countless things you spend money on for your vehicle which aren't needed or could be done yourself without the help of a professional. You need to make a list of the things that you're capable of doing as only you know the answer to this, and then start using the list to save money. Every time you think of spending money on your car look at the list and if it's something written down on the list then you should make sure that you don't spend any money and you do it yourself.

Adding up all the small savings can amount to a huge amount of savings which is where people don't see the connection. For instance if you bought 10 car washes yearly for $10 ea that's $100/year which means every ten years you spend $1000 on car washes. This is only for car washes but as you can see you could already be saving countless amounts of money by doing the little things on your own.<bio>Renting a Car in RichmondCar Rentals in Richmond</bio>

The best promotional items will be effective on many different levels. For example, they will get your name out into the public's awareness, but they will also be useful to your customer. Ideally, they will work on another level as well; they will say something about your company, about your values, and the way you want to do business.

This isn't always possible, of course. Sometimes a pen is just a pen and a t-shirt just a t-shirt. But at their best, promotional items can make a statement about what you believe in and care about, including your client's comfort or convenience.

This is the case with ecologically responsible or ecologically friendly products. Sometimes known as "green," in that they strive to be earth-friendly, these products not only market your goods or services, they also do their part to avoid any more damage to the planet. In turn, they tell your employees, clients, customers, and others who come across them that not only are you a good business, but you care about a lot more than just your bottom line.

As strange as it might sound, one promotional product that can do all this for you is waste bags. They fulfill the first rule of promotional products, that they be useful to the customer, because everyone generates waste of different kinds. They can stock their kitchen and other places with your ecologically friendly, biodegradable bags, and see your name--and think of your commitment to the planet-- every time the draw one from the box.

There are several different kinds of green waste bags that can have your corporate logo printed on them:

• Trash bin bags. These biodegradable bags often include ventilation which helps food waste dry out. If it dries, it will not attract bugs, mold, or bacteria. Without these things, odors are minimized and being in the kitchen becomes much more pleasant. Your customer will not forget that it is you and your company who have made these improvements.

• Food waste bags. There are like the bin bags described above, but much smaller, designed to hold the food waste of one meal or day's worth of work in the kitchen. The bag is highly biodegradable and so can be composted easily or thrown directly into an earth-friendly waste system.

• Doggy bags. For customers with pets, following their dog with a scoop and bag is simply one part of dog ownership. You can help them do it in an environmentally friendly way, reminding them not only of your own responsibility in this area, but that a cleaner earth benefits animals as well as people.

• Portable toilet bags. Instead of traditional portable toilets that collect the waste of hundreds of people in one place, these portable toilets use individual bags that can then be buried or simply put directly into the sewer system. The bags will disintegrate, leaving things cleaner and more pleasant--thank to your foresight--than they would have been without you.<bio>Miles Lovegrove is director of Fluid Branding, the UK's largest supplier of Promotional Waste Bags and other Promotional Products at www.fluidbranding.com.
There are several good reasons why office paper must be recycled. First, papers used in offices are usually high-grade, and it's a shame to see these quality paper reduced to waste. A staggering 77% of these papers are recyclable. Second, an average business office employee can produce a pound and a half of paper waste in working for a business office daily. Finance offices generate waste paper from two to three pounds per employee daily. Third, production costs can be lowered simply by reducing office paper costs and using used paper whenever possible. Removing office paper from the garbage can reduce waste collection fees by 50%. Fourth, a ton of paper recycled is 6.7 cu yds saved landfill space. Removing this much paper from our waste would prolong the service of present landfill sites. Whether your paper supplies are plain white paper, copier paper, office paper, inkjet paper, or letter paper, these are all easily recycled.

There are easy steps to recycling office paper. Recycling can start as soon as your employees are informed and consulted regarding the adoption of recycling schemes. Make sure that all employees know about the recycling program of your company. Recycling systems as simple as monitoring paper use and separating white paper from colored paper are widely-practiced in most offices. Placing labeled trash cans has proved to be an effective recycling method. Be sure, however, that the cans are placed where waste paper amounts to a significant number like in the computer rooms and records sections. Put the recycling can together in an accessible area so people will actually use them. Consulting the employees who work in that particular area where to position the recycling cans is a good idea. It's always a good idea to separate white papers like bond paper, copier paper, paper supplies, office paper, inkjet paper, and letter paper, together rather than mixing them with other paper like cardboard and newspapers. This way, even if you don't reuse the paper but sell them to recycling shops they will a higher value, since white paper costs more. It's also important to inform the maintenance crew. After all, you wouldn't want to waste your employees' recycling efforts undone by having an uninformed janitor haul your papers and dump them with food garbage. It's advised to train them how the recycling system works.

Lastly, these reams of bond paper, copier paper, paper supplies, office paper, inkjet paper, and letter paper materials can bring you good money. So it's recommended to have a log book or record book handy to record the amount or weight of office paper that came from your company. This way, you can keep track of your paper wastes and evaluate if your recycling paper program is actually working to reduce paper use and waste in your office. Also, by keeping a record and receipt, you can be sure to be properly paid for them by the recycling companies. <bio>For more valuable information on paper, please visit http://www.papercopier.com </bio>

Before you attempt to unblock main drains, make absolutely certain what system you have and get to know how it works.

Two pipe systems are still very common on house built before the second world war. There are two separate waste stacks running down the outside of the house and#8211; one for waste water and one for soil.

The waste pipes from your plumbing fittings run into the waste stack either directly or via a hopper head (now obsolete but still very common). Pipes from ground floor fittings often connect to the stack under ground. But if they are far away from the stack they run instead into a separate gulley and#8211; a kind of underground U trap. This joins the underground pipe from the waste stack at an inspection chamber, covered by a manhole.

Soil from the WC always runs to the soil stack direct. The underground pipe from the stack joins the waste water pipe at the inspection chamber. Rainwater may be collected at a gulley to join the waste water system. It may run from the gulley to the inspection chamber via a separate pipe. It may be dispatched to a separate gravel filled pit or soak away. Or, in areas where water is in short supply, it may run to a separate storm water drain.

From the inspection chamber, the combined waste and soil water flows towards the main drain, normally in the road. Before it gets there it may well pass through another chamber and#8211; the interceptor and#8211; containing a large U trap. Interceptors were once used to cut houses off from the main drains; this is no longer done, so they are no longer fitted. But you may find that you share an interceptor with one or more neighbouring properties. Interceptors are easily distinguished from ordinary inspection chambers by an air inlet terminal nearby.

The single stack system is the one now in common use. As its name implies, waste water and soil pipes all connect to the same stack. Until recently the stack had to be inside the house but the rules have since been relaxed to allow outside stacks. Ground floor appliances too far away from the stack to connect to it have their own sub stack or run to a closed (back inlet) gulley. All underground pipes run in a straight line to a meet at an inspection chamber.

There are as many variations in drainage as there is in plumbing. Houses with a two pipe system which have been modernized may also have an internal single stack or sub stack. Some larger houses have the one pipe system in which a single stack runs on the outside of the building. Some early single stack systems have additional old style gullies.

There may also be more than one inspection chamber: they must be installed where ever pipes join and where the gradient or direction of the drain changes.

The only way to really be one hundred percent sure on how your drains are laid out is to piece them together on a sketch plan, using the above information as a guide. <bio>Johan Nickson is an expert in Dewalt Power Tools at http://www.powertooldirect.co.uk </bio>

How do biodegradable packing products compare to those made of plastic? Do they compromise the protection of the item within the package? How do they work? First of all, they do not compromise the protection aspect. They are just as effective as many of the plastic products used to ship items. The difference is that they will degrade or disintegrate over time rather than be released somewhere in the environment to remain for months or years at a time. Such waste can put habitats at risk and puts the environment at risk as well. With biodegradable packing products, they will dissolve over time and not have a negative impact on animal habitats and the environment.

As far as how they work, biodegradable packing is plant-based, which means they are made up of renewable resources. They are created from nature, which means they decompose completely within weeks or months. This works well if the material ends up in the environment or if the biodegradable materials are placed within a composting area.

However, the use of biodegradable materials is growing in popularity due to the fact more and more people are becoming involved with living a greener lifestyle. They are free of plastic coatings, harmful chemicals, do not need an incredible amount of energy to create them, and they do not use any tree resources at all. Many of these biodegradable packing materials are produced outside of Blair, Nebraska , which uses polyactic acid that is commonly referred to as resin. The company called NatureWorks, uses corn to produce the resin and they state that their product is made from 100% renewable resources that are renewed on an annual basis. In this case, the resource is corn and corn can easily be grown from year-to-year. This makes their polymer the first to show a verifiable reduction in the amount of greenhouse gasses released into the atmosphere.

Certain items such as non-biodegradable packing peanuts and bubble wrap cannot do this and many times end up in landfills. Sometimes, these materials escape the trash and end up in bird's nests, which can be hazardous to the little ones and may even end up in water habitats. Animals can become entangled in such materials as bubble wrap and can choke on packing peanuts. That is why it is important to employ the use of biodegradable packing products to prevent such travesties from happening.

As for the amount of garbage saved, the whole picture is rather overwhelming. Think about 1,000 tons of biodegradable waste. Now just imagine 1,000 tons of non-biodegradable waste. In a matter of weeks or months, that 1,000 tons of biodegradable waste will be gone, but the non-biodegradable waste will be hanging around for an unspecified amount of time. That means that 100% of biodegradable waste is waste

There is over 100,000 tons of packing material used each year to ship products all over the world. If all packing materials were made of biodegradable packing materials, then that would be 100,000 tons of waste that would not exist. In a matter of weeks or months, that waste would be completely gone. To imagine that much waste absent from a landfill is hard to imagine.

So with this said, it is fair to say that the amount of garbage saved by biodegradable packing materials is quite significant and with the growing popularity of biodegradable materials, we should expect to see less packing materials such as bubble wrap, non-biodegradable packing peanuts, and other plastic packing materials in the landfills. Instead, we will see our boxes filled with biodegradable packing materials that will in no way compromise the safety of the item or items inside. <bio>Saving money the next time you move or ship a package is important. Using http://www.ecobox.com/ environmentally friendly used and recycled moving boxes is a great way to maintain your bottom line. Help reduce excess landfill waste by choosing http://www.ecobox.com/Moving-Supplies/Bubble-Wrap-Cushioning biodegradable packing and shipping products ! </bio>

Does your car need some repairs? Well it can be less time consuming and save you money, if you decide to repair your car yourself. And who doesn't like saving money?

The main reason for concern would be in finding the right parts for the car. It is a good idea to get the parts before starting to repair.

If you notice there is repair needed on your car before something actually goes wrong, it's good to have the parts ready on hand. Because if you wait its possible that the store is out of stock for that particular part. That way your prepared and have no worries.

You could also consider getting the parts on the internet; you can practically get any part you're looking for on the internet. Just keep looking and you're bound to find it. And hey you might get a good deal and they can even deliver the parts to you. You can get a good deal because many times they will buy the parts in bulk and save money, that way it is more easier for the companies to give you a good deal.

Though make sure when you're ordering your car parts that you're buying the right parts for the make and model of the car that you're repairing. It can waste time if you make a mistake and get the wrong part. It is good to plan ahead and be as organized as you can. It will make the process more efficient and won't waste time.

Go ahead and be ready for the next repair, you will see how it'll be taken care of in no time. Don't moan around, it won't get the repair done any faster. Just do the repair yourself and see how much money you'll save. Take my word for it, it can be done. <bio>Jason Cox is a successful freelance author that writes regularly for http://www.atv-parts-n-accessories.com/ .
Recycling waste products is now seen as being one of the most important factors for any business, and an auto workshop is no different from the norm. With both environmental benefits in the form of a reduction in the amount of raw materials required by industry, and a financial benefit in reducing the cost of disposing of hazardous waste, recycling is an important consideration for any business, and one of the most straightforward opportunities in a workshop is an oil filter crusher, which can prepare these otherwise bulky items for scrap metal recycling, as well as removing the waste oil for proper disposal.

With most regular engine oil filters, a complex series of one way valves is used to control the flow of oil through the filter. This prevents the sludge that build up over time flowing back out of the trap and then contaminating the rest of the oil supply in a car. Because old filters still contain all the sludge and waste oil, they must be disposed of by a specialist handler, with a large cost.

By putting the filter through an oil filter crusher, all of the remaining waste inside it is forced out as the filter is compressed. All that is left is the metal that made up the unit, which can be recycled simply and does not require any special handling. The remaining oil is collected in a drum for easy disposal in line with the EPA regulations. The cost of this method is obviously much lower, so over time the initial investment in an oil filter crusher for a workshop will pay off enormously.

Oil filter crushers work using a heavy duty piston that presses down on the used filter, splitting it apart, and flattening it completely. The piston can be either gas powered using the compressed air system in your workshop, or if this is not available, electrically powered models are also available. The operation of the units is simplicity itself. Once the waste filter has been loaded into the hopper all that is required is a single button press, and then the machine will run through its program, leaving the filter ready for recycling and the waste oil in a drum.

With a high quality model such as the Crushmaster 1, the air powered ram compresses the old filters with around 13,000 lbs of force. This means that it can handle up to 4 waste filters at a time, and operate reliably. Thanks to the excellent build quality of the product, it requires very little ongoing maintenance, and should work normally for years.

The even more powerful Crushmaster 2, which has a higher capacity than its sibling, and as one of the most powerful oil filter crushers on the market, can call on a 4 HP electric motor that will deliver around 37,500 lb of force =96 more than enough to handle even large truck oil filters.

These two high quality crushers are available with a convenient stand that has been designed especially to handle them and make their use additionally safe and convenient. <bio>Easyrack.org for more information on http://www.easyrack.org material handling equipment or oil filter crushers please visit us. </bio>

Cloth nappies - am I insane? Why would any new mum want to consider using washable nappies? I will give you three reasons why you should give real nappies a try today. They are easy to use, cheaper than disposables and reduce waste.

Easy to use - cloth nappies have moved on from our parents' generation. You can still buy the old fashioned terry nappies if you wish; they are very cheap (pack of 12 costs less than £8) and do the job. But if you want to be eco-friendly whilst retaining convenience then you may wish to opt for the new versions for your babies' nappy.

Cotton nappies come in a range of designs, have poppers or Velcro instead of the old safety pins so can fit the smallest babies bum securely. Most parents use a waterproof cover to help prevent any leaks. Biodegradable liners which can be flushed away serve two purposes, keeping baby dry whilst also allowing for the convenience of flushing the waste down the toilet.

Cheaper than disposables:

Most parents use disposable nappies and can spend upwards of £500 from the time baby is born until they are potty trained. This figure increases dramatically if some of the more expensive brand names are used. On the other hand, reusable nappies will cost less than half this amount - if you want to cut this cost further you can buy used but obviously washed reusable nappies on eBay!
Waste reduction

Various studies have shown that disposable nappies account for almost half of the household waste the family produces. It is estimated that Councils spend over £40 million a year in the UK on trying to dispose of disposables. Just imagine how useful this money would be for other projects such as our hospitals, childcare facilities, mum and baby groups etc.

With local councils trying to reduce bin collections to every other week, we must all consider ways of reducing our rubbish production. Nobody knows for certain but it is estimated that disposables take circa 500 years to disintegrate completely by which time the baby who wore them are no more than a very distant memory. Your baby will be wearing nappies for the next 2.5 to 3 years - depending on how soon they are potty trained (cloth nappies appear to make potty training easier!). Even if parents were to try to adopt real nappies for one of the numerous daily nappy changes, this would reduce the impact on our landfills and our children's environment. Given the amount of time and resources we spend trying to make their little worlds a happier place; perhaps we should redirect some of that time and money to saving their planet.

If you decided that you want to use disposable nappies, what not try out a couple of the eco-disposable brands and see how you get on. You will have the obvious benefits of disposable nappies whilst also reducing the amount of waste produced by your growing family.<bio>Pam Pearson is a guest writer for the "Washable Nappies Guide" blog: where you'll find lots of practical advice and guidance on using environmentally friendly nappies.</bio>

Although colon cleansing has been practised for thousands of years already, it has felt that in recent times it has crept into everybody's home and dropped a bombshell through the numerous ads that can be seen in TV, magazines and newspapers. Some call it the colon cleanse hype, but its about time that people get to know the dangers of having a dirty colon, and this media buzz may just be what is needed to make people aware of this.

In the aftermath of the colon cleanse information explosion, you may notice a great number of colon cleanse programs and colon cleansers hitting the market.

Some may be able to provide efficient cleansing but there are also a number of colon cleansers that boast of having all natural herbal products that can eliminate all the toxins in your colon almost immediately.

Others state that their program takes a month or more, requiring a person to buy more of their products.

So what is the most effective way for colon cleansing? Once and for all, what does really work?

If you want an effective colon cleansing which will rid you of the heavy mass of waste in your colon and the great number of parasites inhabiting your digestive system, then you must be dedicated to the program and you must be willing to undergo the whole process.

Quitting any where in the course of the program may not get you your desired results and would just waste your time, money and effort. Not to mention that you would still leaving your colon health to continue to suffer.

Two tried and time-tested approaches to cleaning the colon are the enema and colon hydrotherapy.

It can often be useful to have an enema to soften the waste material in the colon before commencing a herbal or oxygen treatment.

Colonic hydrotherapy is an efficient method to clean the colon.

It is carried out by trained therapist and it can take one or a few sessions clear the colon of waste debris.

If you are adopting a herbal colon cleanse, and you do not adapt your diet then the benefits will be reduced.

Adopting a diet hat contains ample pure water and is high in dietary fiber will help the colon cleansing process and reduce the levels of toxins being consumed.

Some of the colon cleansing treatments also suggest a period of fasting, or food restrictions. This is to reduce the burden on the colon and allow it to eliminate the waste material more effectively.

Essentially the more bad food you allow to enter in your body, the natural ability of your colon would be directed in processing the newly ingested food, taking away the attention from cleansing out the remaining waste.

Eating foods rich in fiber and complex carbohydrates can also help regular elimination of waste. Whole grains are good sources for fiber and complex carbohydrates.

For more information on following a colon cleanse program sign up for the newsletter below.

Forget the "colon cleanse hype" tag. Colon cleansing can be an important part of any health regime, particularly if a persons diet has been poor in the past, and there are signs of poor colon health. <bio>Sign up for Maggie Simmons' free Colon Cleanse newsletter - Overflowing with easy to implement methods to help you discover more about colon cleanse hype at http://www.colon-cleanse-for-health.com/?source=is </bio>

When an individual would hear the word 'Forex' it is expected that the initial reaction is that it is a complicated and mind-bugling issue to take. Although this is true at some point, it does not actually work always that way especially if an individual is aware of all the prerequisites of the game. Now, to open each eye about easy Forex trading, this article was created.

• It is easy Forex trading since you need not to overdo things. If you are just new on the Forex trading arena then you can begin with making a profit of only a 20 pips. Do not try to add up more, instead study the tactic that you will have to do the next day.

• You need not to waste all your time; it could be spent on 15 minute chart as well as 1 hour chart only.

• The 5 miniature chart is not there so you could waste yourself into. If you spend too much of your time here then it will only distract you in making a good trading decision.

• Easy Forex trading also means not using the complicated MACD to buy and sell since it only arrive the individual to meaningless trades which anyone would see as a waste of time.

• You can make use of trailing stops during times when you unstoppably keep on moving your Forex proceeds just to cover all your losses. Also keep in mind to practice first with the demo before actually dipping your toe on the real scene.

• You can carry out everything that you can probably do in order to protect your cash through the use of 12-15 pips stop in Forex trading.
Throughout Europe all nations are committed to the processing of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) to divert as much of our organic waste as possible away from landfill. This is a high priority for the United Kingdom if we are to reach Government recycling targets which are designed to ensure we comply with required landfill diversion rates as set by the EU Landfill Directive.

What is the easiest way to divert organic waste away from landfill, and close a lot of landfills for good?

The answer to this is composting. Composting is the natural way to bring left-over organic material back into the nutrient cycle. It also replaces chemical fertilisers and improves the quality of the soil, reducing crop pests, and retaining more moisture in the soil which then means that less watering is needed.

So composting is a good way to divert waste from landfill, but is there real demand for the huge quantities that could be made from the very large proportion of our municipal solid waste which is organic?

No, there are good reasons for concluding that there will never be a large enough demand for it from farmers and gardeners, because there is a huge amount of organic waste in our rubbish from potato peelings to newspapers, cardboard, and even our old non-synthetic clothes.

Composting can also be the first stage toward more sophisticated waste processing technologies such as Anaerobic Digestion, and take us toward a much more sustainable carbon economy which many see as the intermediate step civilisation needs to go through before entering the age of the hydrogen economy.

The vision of a carbon economy leads us toward a need to increase methane production. This is because there will be a demand to produce a lot of methane which can then be processed further into biofuel such as biomethanol and biodiesel - away from dependency on oil as our fuel source - and toward a marvelous new freedom from fossil fuels.

However, just as in most scientific and commercial advances, they work best through evolution rather than revolution, and so it will be with composting. Many nations including the UK, are now composting very successfully, but we appreciate that composting alone will not bring us to the point where we become sustainable.

We realise that we need sustainable renewable fuels very urgently to stop using fossil fuels and reduce the rate of climate change. By building on our success with household green waste and by beginning to compost commercial waste, and food wastes too, we are developing a culture which begins to accept organic waste processing, and not landfilling as the norm. Many successful new businesses have been created to process compost in the UK, and those businesses will naturally seek to develop and diversify.

Composting requires energy, it is a net carbon emitter and it is still not very sustainable for Municipal Solid Wastes. It is not the best use of waste organic matter which can contain a lot of contaminating materials.

So, how can we adapt composting to be a net carbon emissions reducer, or andquot;Carbon Negativeandquot; and allow these new business to expand their hard won skills in biowaste processing?

The answer is Anaerobic Digestion for all the organic waste feedstocks suitable for it.

The process of anaerobic digestion (composting without air (oxygen)) uses organic waste materials to produce methane gas. The methane gas produced is a sustainable fuel for direct burning for power generation.

Doing this is carbon positive, it uses only renewable resources, it replaces fossil fuel use. It will reduce climate change.

Put this all together and you have real sustainability. A way of living without climate change, and without jeopardising the lives of later generations from global warming. <bio>To buy sustainable (peat free) compost visit http://www.compost-for-sale.com and also see this http://www.anaerobic-digestion.com web site for more information about AD. </bio>

Dr Christopher popularized his famous herbal 'Lower Bowel Tonic', also called 'cascara compound' capsules, during the 60's and 70's. The great value of this formula was that it quite easily produced 2-3 bowel movements a day for most of its regular users, many of whom had not experienced this for many years.

The logic of having 2-3 bowel movements daily is that if you eat 3 times a day, you should pass out waste 3 times a day too. This is a healthy bowel regularity. If a person doesn't do this, it indicates that their bowel has become used to 'hanging on' to the food waste in a reservoir somewhere.

The Unhealthy 'Reservoir'

This 'reservoir somewhere' is the Caecum, located just before the rectum at the very end of the colon's journey out of the body. Anatomically, the Caecum is at the front, lower left of the abdomen. And, surely, many people feel gurgling or discomfort in this area from time to time. Here, food waste can putrefy - because it will do this, when it is being 'stored' for up to 24 hours, or even longer, at body temperature. Yuk!

The confirmation of this 'reservoir' theory - if it were needed - is that many x-rays of the bowel show the Caecum to be 'ballooned' in a way which, it is clear even to the amateur, cannot be healthy. The Caecum is turned into a reservoir for food waste by losing its muscle function - its natural 'peristaltic' action. This action should move food waste right along and out of the body.

Get Rid Of That Reservoir

The solution to this situation is to RESTORE MUSCLE FUNCTION (peristalsis) to the Caecum, so that it can work as nature intended, and move food waste straight through to the rectum. You will then get the natural urge to evacuate, and this urge should be followed if it is at all convenient. This will happen about 3 times a day.

If you are on a bus and you get 'the urge' then, of course, you'll just have to wait! And this is fine if it happens only occasionally. But the more often you can follow your natural urges in this respect, the less you will be holding on to old food waste, allowing it to putrefy in the body, and pour toxins into your blood stream.

Restore Peristalsis

Restoring the lost peristalsis to the whole bowel is what Dr Christopher created his wonderful Lower Bowel Tonic or herbal 'cascara compound' capsules, to do. After 6-9 months' use for the average person, this herbal formula will restore the regularity of the colon - and even of the Caecum.

Over the years, many of my own patients have sworn by Dr Christopher's formula. After using it for sufficient time, it is needed no longer; it 'retrains' the bowel muscle. Many of my patients have thought it was magic! But really, it's action is based on common sense. <bio>Max Hill, a practitioner for over 20 years, has written extensively about colon cleansing for http://www.alternative-healthzine.com and http://www.shs100.com.
Septic tank is a very important thing for some home owners, the process that the water used in houses go through is not on the minds of most of the people using them, most people just turn the water on and off without thinking about what happens to the water and where the waste of these dirty water goes.

The systems that humans invented to deal with water waste are very complicated and efficient, but in some places water still needs to be collected and disposed in other ways, the septic tank is one of the things you should use when not linked to a regular drainage system.

Some places use septic tanks, mostly remote or rural places use it, do not be mistaken by the fact that so many people live in the cities and the suburbs, there are still many places that need to use septic tanks and such appliances to maintain a normal way of life, and if fact, once used well the septic tank is a very useful thing indeed, one that can serve a house for a good many years.

Septic tanks collect the water used by the house, the tank is located near the house and can be different size, some of the septic tanks are very big and some are smaller for smaller properties or houses that do not have a lot of people living in it. The septic tank holds all the waste the house produces and holds it in different spots, while some of the solids are held in the bottom of the septic tank they are there for some time until they disappear because of normal decomposing, the process does not happen for the liquids that are collected din the tank since the whole thing needs to be pumped anyway.

The important thing about a septic tank is that it is strong and durable, that the quality of the collecting and holding of the waste will be good and that it will able you to maintain normal life and regular water use as long as you se a good pumping service, a good septic tank will be serviced and will last for many years without needing any attention from the home owner, this means that quality septic tanks will allow a regular life just like any other home in any city or other place, without really feeling that it is a septic tank that collects the waste and not a drainage system.

The one thing that home owners need to take care of is that there is a good pumping service that will take care of their septic tank on regular basis, the people who run the pumping services are septic tank experts and will make sure that the whole water disposal service is not causing any trouble to anyone living in the house, once you got a quality septic tank and a good pumping service you will not think about the waste water any more, just like almost every else does not. <bio>Daniel Roshard is an interior designer fascinated by outdoor architecture, currently studying public parks and outdoor design.
Most of us feel guilty if we do not take the trouble to wash and sort all those reusable plastics, papers and tins. We do this to avoid throwing them in the bin which then ends up in the landfill sites around the country. But how useful is recycling and can it really solve the "waste crisis"?

UK households generate a staggering thirty million tonnes of rubbish a year, of which sixty per cent comes from packaging. There has been a lot of publicity recently about waste that has been put out for recycling ending up in landfill sites. It is also clear that an increasing amount is being shipped to other countries to dispose of. It can be cheaper to transport it to other countries than to recycle it or fill up the landfill sites in the UK.

The European Union (EU) has recently ordered the citizens of the United Kingdom to roughly double their recycling rates by 2008. Governments across the European Union and America have announced plans to require more recycling. Unless the UK hits these targets, local council tax bills across the UK will soar unless local authorities hit their recycling targets to enable the UK to hit their targets set by the EU. The UK government already charges tax for dumping waste in landfill sites to encourage us to recycle more and this tax is due to increase.

This will punish local councils which continue to use landfills and council tax payers will pay the price for poor performance by not recycling themselves or by not having the facilities to do this. It's therefore cheaper to recycle then to dump in the landfill sites. The UK currently recycles 22 per cent of its household waste while some other EU countries recycle more than half. The UK proposes cutting the amount of waste put into landfill sites from 72 per cent today to 25 per cent by 2020.

Some Thing to Think About -The Future?

- Why do we use all that energy recycling paper to save the trees? There is the argument that paper should be recycled so that we save trees and forests but we now grow trees just to produce newsprint and other items. Is it a sustainable resource already?

- New landfills are constructed in the USA and this should happen in the UK on a large scale which would enable the UK to pipe the methane gas that they produce to local power plants supplying homes in a green and eco way.

- We need to ensure that any recycling programmes that are run are delivered effectively. That means tracing waste down the chain to its ultimate destination. Transparency should inform the whole waste management industry.

- If a study in undertaken and it concludes that it costs more to recycle than to bury the used and manufacture the new from scratch, then we could start landfills just for plastic, one for glass etc. then if we do run out of them we can dig them all up in one go for recycling. For example, if the throwing away of plastic continues and continuing oil shortages mean that it is more cost effective we can recycle them all at once by mining the landfills and it would be cheaper and easier then continuous recycling.

- At present, only an estimated fifteen per cent of UK households have access to kerbside collections, if they these collections do not cover glass, paper, plastic etc. then how far do you have to drive to the nearest recycling centre and how much do you have to collect at home to ensure that you are not making more damage by driving then the amount of energy you are saving by recycling? What about the financial cost to collect the recycling or to take it to the recycling centre? What about the energy taken to recycle it? Is oil really running out? How much landfill is available? <bio>David Oglaza is the founder of the Green and Ethical business http://www.guidemegreen.com .
On May 1st 1994 a new waste management licensing act became law which required any operator who deposited, recovered or disposed of waste required a waste management licence (WML) or exemption. If you operated without either of these then you could be fined and sent to prison. A WML can be applied for and issued by the relevant regulatory authority usually SEPA or the EA.

When obtaining a licence, you are required to be a 'fit and proper person' as well as being technically competent to do the job. A 'fit and proper person' is someone without any environmental convictions, are technically competent and have taken all reasonable precautions to meet their licence requirements. A certificate of technical competence (COTC) is issued by the Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB).

Metal recyclers do not face the full burden of waste legislation following heavy lobbying of government over the past 10 years. But they still face strict licensing controls and a less strict Duty of Care regime.

Metals recyclers in the UK either to have a licence to carry out their work or alternatively have to register for an exemption on grounds of size of business.

Over the past two years, and with the support of the metal recycling trade associations, the Environment Agency has been clamping down on unlicensed and non-exempt sites.

Licences issued under the Act are known as "Metal Recycling Site Licences". Licence conditions include security fencing, covered storage requirements, road and storage surfacing and drainage, sign and notice boards and other conditions.

A key element of the licensing and control system is Duty of Care. As a business, you have a duty to ensure that any waste you produce is handled safely and in accordance with the law. This is the 'Duty of Care' and it applies to anyone who produces, imports, carries, keeps, treats or disposes of controlled waste from business or industry or acts as a waste broker in this respect. This involves the waste producer transferring a document to the waste disposer containing all relevant details about the waste.

But the practicalities of always obtaining this document and the fact that some suppliers might choose to go to merchants who did not enforce the rules rigorously prompted a change of heart on the part of the government in agreement with the Environment Agency which enforces the rules.

A concession was struck that the Environment Agency would not fully enforce the Duty of Care as far as the non-ferrous metal recycling industry in particular is concerned. This concession was welcomed by the British Secondary Metals Association.

The Duty of Care rules apply to materials whether they are destined for recycling or disposal and the Environment Agency has said that the duty of care is the piece of legislation that links waste controls together linking waste with carriers. There is now flexibility in the way the regulations are implemented for generally small loads of material. The Agency has given guidance saying that duty of care must be understood as a concept that requires all reasonable precautions to be taken so that waste, including metals, in the care of a business or carrier doesn't escape and is carried in a secure container.

When it is transferred to a registered broker, carrier, a business registered exempt and others there must be a description of that waste.

The agency accepts that it is clearly impractical to have a transfer note for every container of non-ferrous material, and if the way the notes are used allows the next person in the chain to be able to know what it is and handle it properly then the aim of the duty of care is in a large part being achieved. Following the agreement with the British Secondary Metals Association earlier this year, the Agency will not generally take action especially as its resources have been focused on getting unlicensed or unregistered metal recycling sites into the licensing and exemption system.

The concessions on the duty of care apply to transactions where the total quantity of scrap metal being transferred does not exceed 1,500 kilogrammes. The transaction may cover a number of different metals but the total weight of the transfer must not be greater than 1,500 kg. This means that if the transfer weight of metals that are waste exceeds the 1,500 kg limit, then the waste transfer note must contain all the details as in the regulations. <bio>Alasdair Meldrum is founder and director of Albion Environmental Ltd.
There are numerous different methods available for cleansing the colon. But do you know the best colon cleanse products money can buy?

Now I know you are likely to be disappointed with the answer.

In fact, I think you may be tempted to stop reading this article after finding out this "secret". But bear with me and I will explain why they can be so efficient and hopefully change your whole outlook.

So, the best colon cleansing products money can buy are=85 water and fiber.

Yep =96 That's it. Water and fiber.

Drinking water and eating foods rich in fiber are the simplest, most natural way to keep the colon functioning healthily and "scrubbing" it clear of waste material.

So, while some people are spending a fortune on colonic irrigation therapy or taking enemas, or even taking herbal preparations to clean the colon, these simple ingredients can be added to the diet to naturally clean the colon and improve digestion.

Continue reading to discover natural methods to clean the colon and sign up for our free newsletter.

Also, the improvements made by other treatments tend to be relatively short term with benefits only lasting until the effects of the lifestyle that created the problems in the first instance start to stockpile the waste in the colon once again.

You do not need to waste a great amount of your money, time and effort to clean your colon because when it comes to these two simple colon cleansers, the result is long-term and guaranteed to be effective.

Drinking more pure water is a natural colon-cleansing agent as t helps to "moisturize" the waste in your colon, and rehydrate the body.
