The fact that spring is here means a few things. Spring means that the coldness of winter has passed us by yet again. Spring means that the school year is winding down and that children will be free again soon. Spring also means that the wonderful season of summer is on it's way soon. I love spring because it means that warm weather, the best kind of weather, is about to arrive.

Warm weather is full of potential. It is obvious to me that warm weather is the best kind of weather because it allows people to do so many things and to enjoy so many things. Perhaps my favorite thing about warm weather is that I can be outside comfortably for hours on end. I'm kind of an outdoors loving guy, so the cold winter months are really hard for me to get through each year. I love summer days when you can be outside from early morning until late evening and never feel a chill. The warm sun beating down on your face and your body is perhaps my favorite feeling in the world.

Warm weather is great because it allows people to easily be more active and enjoy a healthier lifestyle. In the winter all people want to do is cuddle up in front of a fire, read a good book and sip a hot drink. On warm days many people toss the books aside and enjoy hour after hour of activity. Kids love to run and play with their neighbors, adults love to garden and work outside of their homes. The potential for healthier living that warm weather brings is amazing. It makes me wish we had warm weather every day of the year.

So many of my personal favorite ways to spend time can only be done comfortable in warm weather. Camping, for example, is much better in warm weather. I love nothing more than to pack up my large backpack and take off for the woods for a few days with my sons. We love to fish and hike all day and then sit by a fire and talk at night. Many of my best memories with my sons have been made because of the benefits of warn summer weather. I have also enjoyed watching each of my children play baseball during the warm summer months. I love spending my evenings at the ball fields encouraging my children's love for the game.

You see, there are endless reasons to love warm weather. I have shared some of mine with you. Now, as summer approaches, it is up to you to enjoy the warm weather in whatever ways you like the best. <bio>Martin Stoleman loves warm weather as much as he loves seeing people become more active and enjoy life to the fullest.
The Warm Spirit company was launched officially in June of 1999 by Daniel Wolf and Nadine Thompson. Wolf had met an herbal healer while on vacation and had learned some tricks of the trade. Wolf developed a line of skin cream and together he and Thompson decided that they would start a company and sell the products that Wolf had made. They named their company Warm Spirit and it launched officially in June of 1999. The product line included thirty eight products and since then several more have been added to the Warm Spirit repertoire.

Since the official inception of Warm Spirit, the company has expanded quite a bit and now sells its products through catalogues, over the phone and with independent sales representatives who are called consultants.

Warm Spirit consultants are members of a compensation plan that is uni-level and breakaway. Consultants are offered incentives like a car allowance, and leadership bonuses. The Warm Spirit company tries to emphases that their consultants are in business for themselves, not by themselves, that they will get free training, they can set their own work schedules and that they won't be responsible for maintaining any sort of inventory.

Warm Spirit consultants can earn their incomes by hosting parties (called "home gatherings"), talking to people individually or by taking orders from the Warm Spirit catalog. They are also encouraged to recruit other people to become fellow Warm Spirit consultants. Warm Spirit also promises that income can be earned through developing, training and leading Warm Spirit Consultant recruits through the processes of starting their own businesses.

In order to be more financially successful Warm Spirit Consultants are encouraged to recruit consultants to work under them and to create a highly functioning down line of Warm Spirit Consultants. The farther the down line goes, the more recruits in each level, the more the original Consultant will earn.

This looks like a fairly straightforward mlm operation. Warm Spirit is open and honest about what sort of commissions the Warm Spirit consultants can expect to earn. There is a straightforward commission chart available on the internet for anybody's perusal. The only real drawback is the cost of getting started. The most basic starter package starts at fifty dollars, but if you want a more in depth Warm Spirit start up package the price goes up. Some of the Warm Spirit starter packages can be as expensive as five hundred dollars.

Really the only cost it looks like Warm Spirit Consultants are out is the start up fee. We couldn't find much information as to how the car allowances, bonuses and regular commissions are paid out, but the company looks very straight forward. You will get out of Warm Spirit what you put into it. After all, commission earnings are directly proportionate to the amount of products sold by Warm Spirit Consultants and their down line. The more you sell, the more you make. Isn't that the way with all home businesses? I guess you will have to decide that for yourself.<bio>You can read our Unbiased, expert review of Warm Spirit from Brian Garvin and Jeff West at MLM Review Kings.
Bodybuilders always face the danger of getting a muscle tissue damaged or torn each time they step in the gym and start lifting weights for training. If you've been hanging around in the gym for some time now, there's a big chance that you have met a person who have experienced muscle injuries or people who now have a bad knee or shoulder. This is a natural situation to happen to bodybuilders but it is never safe to think that a muscle injury could still get you back in the gym.

It's best to take caution and always observe the proper warm up routine before proceeding with your normal bodybuilding exercises. Be sure you execute warm ups properly. It would be best to do two parts of warm up where the first part should be all about cardio exercises. Five minutes in the treadmill could get your blood circulating on all corners of your body but the actual length of warm up varies on the person's age and physical condition. Also, you'd know when you're ready for lifting exercises. Of course, you'd know your condition if you're all pumped up for the heavy weight lifting activities ahead.

The second part of your warm up should consist of psychological convincing. Your body should agree with your mind's goal which means that your workout for today should be better and satisfactory compared to your last performance. Bodybuilding wouldn't be effective anyway if you don't increase the level of what you could achieve for every new bodybuilding session. When you're body is busy warming up the blood for circulation, you can mentally set your goal in mind at the same time.

Doing both parts of your warm up properly and regularly could immensely decrease the risk of getting your muscles torn, leading you to a great bodybuilding experience. <bio>Shareen Aguilar is a writer for http://www.body-building-book.com which has Bodybuilding guide and other free fitness Books. </bio>

Soccer warm up exercises are the most frequent in pre match situations and training. there's no other type of exercise that a soccer player will spend more time with then with warm up. Professional teams usually spend around 30 minutes of their training sessions on a quality warm up, because this has three major effects on players, effects that we will discuss in the following paragraphs.

-Soccer Pre game Warm up =96 Avoiding Injuries

Our muscles and tendons can easily cause problems if they are used at their fullest without a proper series of soccer warm up drills. The muscles work on the same principle as an elastic string would. Pull it slowly and the elastic will be able to stretch without problems, but if you pull it in one quick motion, there's a risk it might snap. Ok, your muscles won't just "snap" if you use them intensely without the proper warm up, but there's a good chance you might strain them or develop other injuries.

That's why a good part of soccer warm up drills includes stretching exercises, which slowly get your muscles used to the effort.

- The Importance of Soccer Pre game Warm up =96 Higher Performance

It's not called warming up for nothing: when performing these exercises, you actually warm your muscles and entire body, allowing it to be ready for effort. By performing soccer pre game warm up exercises, you set your muscles, heart rate and breathing to the same levels you will be using in the match, so you can easily accommodate to the variables that the match brings.

Try this very simple exercise to test this theory: warm up for 30 minutes thoroughly, using a wide range of soccer warm up drills that work with your entire body, not just your legs. After you're done, do 5-10 sprints on the width of the soccer pitch and measure your heart rate and the general difficulty of each sprint.

Now, come back in another day, do a couple of stretching exercises so you don't develop any injuries and simply start sprinting (the same number of sprints as the day before), without getting a proper warm up beforehand. You will notice that you will have harder time breathing throughout and between the sprints, they will be harder to perform and at the end, your heart rate will be much higher than yesterday, meaning that your body had a harder time adjusting to the high level of effort.

- The Importance of Soccer Pre game Warm up =96 Concentration

This is strictly related to the other two benefits of a quality warm up. Knowing that you're fully prepared for the match/training session and that there's no risk of injury, you will be a lot more focused on the game and on doing your job right. Soccer warm up exercises will also get your body ready for the effort as I explained above and this has a positive effect on concentration. When you're not focusing on having to breathe right or stopping to catch your breath, you can, again, concentrate on your job.

These should be enough reasons to convince you of the importance of soccer warm up exercises. If you're a player that wants to give his or her best on the soccer pitch, your first concern will be giving your best in the soccer pre game warm up drills. <bio>Niv Orlian is the author and the owner of http://www.soccer-fans-info.com, a website that provides information on various topics related to soccer.
Warming up before a game of golf is important especially if you are new to a course and want to play your best. Most people warm up at the driving range or warm-up area provided by the golf course. If you are tempted to skip the warm-up session and begin playing, you not do as well as you want to because muscles need time to stretch irregular use. Since you probably don't golf everyday, you will be using muscles that are seldom used otherwise, so warming up is important for your body and your golf game.

There are many ways that people prepare themselves for a game of golf. They practice their golf swing using irons, woods, and putters, they put themselves in a positive mood by emphasizing what they are good at and ignoring their faults. Many times the reason you are not playing up to your potential is because you aren't mentally prepared. Putting yourself in a good mood can help you focus and concentrate on playing a good game.

For any golfer, taking the time to warm up is a way to relax. It is not the time to use clubs you have not used before or try a new stance. When you are taking lessons or hitting golf balls at the driving range, then you can try new techniques. Warm up with your best swings so you can use the momentum to play well during the actual game.

While waiting for your turn at the tee, visually see yourself performing well. This will prepare you for any obstacles along the way. You should also determine which way the wind is blowing, what the conditions of the course are like, and how the course is laid out if you have never played it before. This information will help you set up your shot so you can begin the game on a high note.

As you become better at the game of golf, you may want to alter your warm up strategy. This is fine as long as you use the time wisely. If you have a weakness you know you have to conquer, planning your game strategy while warming up can help you focus on overcoming your weakness by replacing it with something positive. Because you know when during the game your weakness will come up, you can plan ahead during the warm up session. Using a different club, using a slice to your advantage, or learning more about the course are all ways to compensate for issues you have on the course. <bio>Vince Paxton repeatedly produces articles on topics dealing with Costa Blanca and Elche.
Nothing adds as much to a room as paint does. There isn't a design element out there that gives you as much value and return on investment as a simple can of paint. The first step in decorating any space should be painting. Your room can go from blank canvas to evoked emotion in the few hours it takes to paint the walls. And that is before you even bring the furniture in.

Before you paint your room, you want to consider what emotion it is you would like to evoke. An overview of the colorwheel and its colors will give you some guidelines to follow, though these certainly are not hard and fast rules. In your home, anything goes.

Warm colors. Red, Orange, Yellow. This part of the color spectrum suggests warmth, passion, coziness, hearth and home.

Cool colors. Blue, Green, Purple. This portion of the wheel gives feelings of cool calmness and serenity.

Where the warm colors are loud and energetic, the cool colors are quiet and introspective. But, because most colors, particularly the ones you might find at the paint store, are a blend of colors, you can have warmer or cooler versions of hues. So there are cool purples that are more blue than red, and warm purples that are more red than blue.

Taking into account the room you are working with and its primary function, you can choose a warmer or cooler color. A cozy study could use a warm color like a warm rust; a home office might work well with a cool, crisp green. It all depends on the desired effect you are looking for.

One additional thing to keep in mind is that no room exists in a vacuum. You can have each room in your home with a completely different feeling, but you may have to consider the flow so that the transition from room to room is not jarring. <bio>http://1stcarpeting.com home furnishings and decor for the modern home http://www.1stcarpeting.com </bio>

Heat pumps are becoming more popular as the cost of heating is rising. Heat pumps are a great source of heat and for some can be used as a main heating source. Most people do not understand a heat pump or how it works and this is key to getting the most from a heat pump. This appliance is an efficient way to tackle high heating bills.

Heat pumps work much like air conditioners. They draw in outside air to heat a home. They take the warm air out of the outside air and then provide that air to the home. In areas where winters are mild a heat pump can provide enough heat that no other heating source is necessary. However, in a cold environment a heat pump may not be able to pull enough warm air to provide sufficient heat. Heat pumps can also serve as an air conditioner by pulling warm air from inside the house and pushing it outside. Again, though, in an incredibly warm atmosphere the heat pump may not be able to pull a sufficient amount of warm air out and an additional cooling source may be needed.

The newer models of heat pumps offer great features that make then even more alluring. Many new models feature added energy efficiency and more reliability than past models. There are ground source models that pull heat from the ground instead of the air. These models provide a more constant temperature as ground temperatures are more stable than air temperatures. Some models are made with a storage so when the pump pulls more air than is needed it is stored and used when needed. This allows the heat pump to be more sufficient and provide a better heat source. Most heat pumps are operated like a typical furnace with a thermostat that allows for them to be turned on and off at certain temperatures.

Heat pumps are just gaining in popularity. They are proving to be a stable heat source that can save big money on heating and energy bills. Heat pumps are being made with more and more features that are making them more efficient and more comparable to other heating sources. The key to using a heat pump is to understand the limitations and learn the proper way to use one. A heat pump can really be a great addition and a superior choice for a home. <bio>http://pumpshub.com Everything you need to know about Pumps. </bio>

Most articles on this subject seem to focus on the difference between warm and cool mist humidifiers. The decision is actually far more complicated than that, as there are several different types within those two categories. Let's take an entirely different approach, and ask three important questions: 1. Is noise important? The most popular type of cool mist humidifier uses a fan to help evaporate the water. Obviously, a fan can make quite a lot of noise, and can be very annoying when you are trying to sleep. Warm mist humidifiers that use a heating element can make a gurgling noise. This is much quieter than a fan, but it can still be a problem for some people. Ultrasonic humidifiers on the other hand are almost silent to the human ear, making them the obvious choice if you require a noise free option.

2. Do you have children? Warm mist humidifiers used a heating element to boil the water. This means there is a burn risk, and they are therefore not ideal for use with children.

3. How much humidification and do you require? Or, to put it another way, how many rooms do you have and how large are they? To humidify an entire building a whole house solution that will attach to your furnace is ideal. The particular model that you buy will be dependent on your current heating system as it will need to be compatible. For single rooms you have much more choice available. Generally speaking, cool mist humidifiers can cope with a larger space than warm mist. Each model will state clearly on it the size of area that it is designed to be used in. You simply have to match the capacity to the size of room.

Taking these three factors into account is a much better at way of choosing a humidifier. Hopefully you now have a clearer idea which type is right for your situation. <bio>There are many more great tips at http://www.HumidifierInformation.com including a really useful page of features that you need to look out for. </bio>

Have you ever seen a woman with a hair color you absolutely loved--you asked her what color it was, she told you and you went right out and bought the same color. You applied it according to directions--and your hair looked completely wrong. I've learned the hard way that unless I have similar skin tone to the woman wearing the color I love, I will save myself a lot of grief if I just complement her on her great color, and let it go.

It is not just a matter of finding a color that looks great on the box. Your skin tone, your eye color, and your natural hair color must be considered when you look for a hair color for you.

First, and most important, you need to determine whether your skin tone is warm or cool. The best way to determine this is to stand by a window and hold your inner arm next to a sheet of white paper.

Is your skin primarily tan, peachy or gold? Or does your medium skin have a greenish undertone? If you are brown-skinned, is there a gold or cinnamon undertone? If so, then your skin tone is warm. Your eye color is probably green, hazel, golden brown, or red-brown. You might have gold or brown fleck in your eyes. Your natural hair color as a child could have ranged from a natural golden blonde, strawberry blonde to red, golden brown or a deep brown with gold or red highlights. As you gray, your hair probably has a yellow cast. These are attributes of warm skin people.

If your skin has a cool tone, your arm will appear bluish next to the white paper. Your skin will have a pink undertone. If your skin is brown it will be a deep brown or a black brown. Your eyes will be blue, gray, hazel with white or blue flecks, or very dark brown. As a child, your hair color could have been very pale blonde, or a darker blonde, or a medium to dark brown that did not look gold in the sun; or your hair would have been coffee-colored, or blue-black. Your hair, as it grays, turns white. These are all cool tones.

The trick to getting a hair color that looks good on you, is to stay with the skin tone God gave you. People with warm skin tones look best in warm colors. Cool skin tones look best with cool colors. Choosing a hair that does not complement your natural coloring will result in an unpleasant disharmony, no matter how pretty the color is on the box. If the natural undertone of your hair is warm, and you try putting a cool blue or violet-based hair color on it, it is somewhat like mixing yellow and blue. Your hair will probably have a greenish cast.

If you read the labels on the hair coloring boxes, most will give you a clue as to whether they are warm or cool colors. The word "ash" on a label means cool. As discussed in the previous paragraph, if your coloring is warm, don't use an "ash", or you may wind up getting green looking hair.

You can color your hair any color you would like. Blonde, red, brown, gray and black all come in warm or in cool tones.

The safest way is to follow your skin tone and choose a color that goes with that tone. You can go lighter, darker, or intensify--just stay with the same tone.

The same goes for highlighting your hair. Warm-toned people lighten with pale gold, bright gold, russet, warm brown. Cool-toned people lighten with white, platinum, cocoa.

Even the exciting crayon-color accents that you see on young people can coordinate with skin tone. There are yellows, oranges, lime-greens, and rusts for the warm-toned, and fuchsia, electric blue, purple and black for the cool-toned. <bio>Pat McGuire is the staff writer for http://www.secrethomeshopping.com and http://www.terrierdogs.biz and http://www.cruise--travel.com </bio>

Bodybuilding combined with exercises is a sure way of getting your muscles cramped. It's a valid occurrence in anybody's life (considering all daily activities involved) since muscle cramps happen even to those who are not in training in the gym.

When you experience muscle cramps, expect to feel extreme pain. Muscle cramps happen to any person doing any sort of activity. But the part of the body which is exposed to muscle cramps are most likely to occur on the legs and the stomach area. A person should also refrain from any activity at the moment a cramp occurs and let it wait until it has completely subsided.

A muscle cramp can be prevented long before it starts to happen. An obvious solution to one of the many causes of muscle cramp is warming up. Most people take this for granted. Warm up is a very important part of any training routine, exercises and even simple physical activities because it helps in loosening and relaxing tensed muscles. Also, observing proper warm up steps before any physical tasks help you maintain good cardiovascular endurance since it keeps a good amount of blood flowing to your lungs. In turn, allowing you to breathe properly no matter how heavy an exercise gets.

Another way is for you to stay hydrated. Drink lots of water. If you know you are going to be doing an outdoor activity, carry with you an energy drink to replenish what you have lost caused by the activity. The more sweat you excrete, the more fluid you also need to take in. Sweat indicates that you are losing nutrients from the body so it is just appropriate to replace the fluid which has been lost.

If you have been inactive for quite some time now, it is best to follow a warm-up routine before any attempt of doing a bodybuilding exercise. Proper warm-up will prevent you from injuries especially when you are about to carry or lift heavy weights. <bio>Shareen Aguilar is a writer for http://www.body-building-book.com which has information on Bodybuilding and other fitness topics. </bio>

Winter brings a chill in the atmosphere. This involves bringing out your woolens and switching on the electrical appliances that will keep your entire house warm. The most popular device to keep your house warm is the heater. But it consumes a lot of energy to operate. Hence, to control the spiraling energy costs while retaining warmth in house, a device called a heat pump is becoming popular. If you are wondering what a heat pump is or are planning on buying one, here are some buying tips.

What is a heat pump?

A heat pump is a device that takes in the cold air from the atmosphere and uses it to warm up your home. The pump uses the principles of refrigeration and not fuel combustion to warm as well as cool the house.

Why are the heat pumps becoming popular?

Though heat pumps have been around for more than 30 years, they are being increasingly used today to combat the rising energy costs. Besides, the technological advances are now making them viable alternatives. The first heat pump that came in the market was noisy and broke down frequently. But with the new technology, they are becoming more efficient in using energy and are reliable. This has made them highly popular among the residential and commercial property owners. These pumps save energy more effectively while heating.

Do the pumps have any drawbacks?

Yes. As the external temperature goes down, the pump needs more energy to keep your house warm. Its efficiency goes down and when it reaches the balance temperature, which is normally between 30 to 45 degrees F, you need other sources of heating. At this time you need to use electrical resistance heating.

How do I know I need really need a new pump?

Buying a new heat pump will ensure you save your money in the long run. However, you need to determine if the whole pump needs to be changed or simple repairs will work. Go through the instruction manual that comes with the pump before taking a decision. <bio>For other great articles about heat pumps please check out http://www.heatpumpsites.info and http://www.heatpumpadvice.info.
The best thing about jackets is their functionality. You can use them for work, for going out or just working in the yard on a crisp fall day. A good jacket can handle all of these uses with ease. It will keep you warm on a chilly or breezy day, but still look nice enough to wear out to the ballgame or to meet friends for a casual dinner.

The Carhartt outerwear line has a number of jackets that fit this bill. Here are a few different types of jackets and their uses:

The Santa Fe Jacket

Just as the name suggests, this is a western inspired jacket. With the chest and the back of the jacket style with western styled yokes, this is a good way to get back to your roots and still stay warm. A Carhartt outerwear Santa Fe jacket is actually a heavyweight cotton jacket with a flannel liner, so you are sure to stay warm even on the chilliest of autumn days. With an optional hood, even your head can stay warm on breezy days. Carhartt outerwear offers a number of Santa Fe jackets in different colors and sizes.

The Active Jacket

Again, just as the name suggests, this type of jacket is for people on the go. It's very warm with a quilted flannel liner, but fits in a way that you have full mobility and are not constricted while on the move. The active jacket is also very pocket friendly with 2 outer pockets and 2 inner pockets. This is also very good for someone on the go, as you can put all your stuff in your pockets instead of having to go back and find your tools or belongings and carry them. The Carhartt outerwear line offers a few different active jackets for varying climates. Once you match the jacket to your weather conditions, you'll be all set.

The Bomber Jacket

While many people picture the classic bomber jacket in leather, bomber jackets are also considered just a type of style that can come in any material. For a work jacket, leather is not always ideal, as it can rip and be expensive to replace. For people that like the bomber style, but still need a work jacket, you can get the best of both worlds in a bomber style jacket made from cotton sandstone duck. This material is rugged and warm, but less likely to rip or tear like leather. It's also washable, something you can't do with a leather jacket. In the Carhartt outerwear line, there are different color bomber jackets to go with your work or casual wardrobe.

Other Jackets

There are many other jackets that are too numerous to mention. Carhartt outerwear has a number of different jackets for all occasions. Whether you are looking for something merely to keep warm or for a more functional daily wear jacket to take to work, Carhartt outerwear has a jacket that will fit your needs.<bio>WorkWear1.com offers a great selection of Carhartt Clothing in addition to a wide variety of Carhartt Outerwear and many other Carhartt Clothing items.</bio>

Are you dealing with a small room and wondering what the best paint colors are to make it look larger? If so, we're going to go over a few options you can choose from that will give you the look you want.

Consider the following choices to open your space up...

Option 1) Use a (Light) Cool Color. If it's not yet obvious (light) cool colors are said to be the best colors to go with because they trick the eyes into thinking they are further away than they really are. If you're wondering what colors classify as cool colors, cool colors are considered to be...

* blue * green * purple

Putting an example to them, you can think of the colors of the ocean or sea, sky and trees.

Option 2) Use a Gloss Finish. If you want to go a step further consider using a gloss finish. Paint experts at Behr.com have said that using a gloss finish can also contribute to making a small room appear larger. The best ones to use are said to be an eggshell finish, satin finish and semi-gloss finish. You'll want to stick witch using a semi-gloss finish for the kitchen and bathroom. For bedrooms, living rooms and other rooms of the house a more subtle approach is best--the satin and eggshell finish being great choices for those rooms.

Option 3) Use Monochromatic Colors. A monochromatic color scheme is simply using colors that are close in tone so that when the eye moves around the room it is uninterrupted and tricks you into believing there's more space than there really is. A simple way to go about using a monochromatic color scheme is to use colors from the same palette, such as light blue, medium blue and so forth.

Lastly, after discovering that cool colors are the best colors in principal, you still might want to consider another choice.

Option 4) Compromise with a Light Warm Color. If you're wondering what warm colors are, they are yellow, orange and red. Putting them into an example, warm colors are the colors of heat. You can think of the sun and fire as good examples.

Generally, warm colors get the opposite results that cool colors get. That is, they make a room feel smaller because they appear as though they are coming toward you. However, they also make a space feel cozy, which means it's sometimes worth the sacrifice to pick a warm color, especially if you love it.

Remember, you'll be the one living in your home day in and day out. You want to be certain that the colors you pick are colors you can enjoy. If you can't enjoy the selection of cool colors then it might be best to you to pull from both worlds...

That way you'll still be getting something light but warm at the same time. Choosing a light warm color will then ensure that your room will feel fairly bright to you, but also offer you that intimate feeling that you couldn't deny yourself.

So keep in mind not to only choose what's best for your rooms but also what's best for you...

After all these are choices you'll have to live with every single day. <bio>Tameka Norris offers space saving tips and small scale furniture recommendations for small rooms, homes, apartments, dorms, and small condos at her website http://www.furniture-for-small-spaces.com. </bio>

Doing a an executable routine of warm-up is how should a bodybuilder start his bodybuilding training and exercises. There should always be adequate form of warm up exercises for each set of muscles. The main reason why bodybuilders should always do proper warm-ups before the main training is to prevent him from any type of injury.

Joints and muscles that haven't been properly lubricated and stretched are going to be the main root of injuries. Nobody wants to be injured especially if what he does is all with good intentions. Now you know why it is important to do warm-ups during each and every bodybuilding training, another important set of exercise shouldn't also be neglected.

If there is a way up, there is always a way down. The same thing is applied to bodybuilding training. Warming up prior to any strenuous activities is done to prevent the body from any type of injury. Whereas warming down exercises are light stretching exercises that are done to properly cool down the body. Though this may be the last stage to completing a bodybuilding training, it is as important as the set of reps done during the training proper.

The reason? You really don't want to wake up the next morning with sore muscles and aching body, do you? Not only that, an abrupt halt from heavy exercises deprives the body from going back to its normal heart rate, pulse and body temperature. This makes it difficult for the muscles to adjust and relax as well and results to the tightening of muscles and joints.

Distribute light stretching exercises to your hamstring, biceps and quadriceps. Each set of light stretching should be done equally. Try to move in the same pace when shifting from an area of the body to the next.

Allow your body to work its way from fast and heavy exercises to slow and smoothing stretches to ensure you of a sore-free body afterward. <bio>Shareen Aguilar is a writer for Bodybuilding Training Program http://www.body-building-book.com which has information on Bodybuilding and other fitness topics. </bio>

What makes these coats so warm?

What makes your Mens Carhartt Coats so warm that people are buying them all the time? The answers here are pretty simple; the polyester insulation (that is repeatedly tested to withstand even the coldest temperatures that the Arctic weather could throw at you), all of the triple stitching on the main seams, and the very sturdy construction in general. This is how the folks at Carhartt have always been able to produce the very best in quality outdoor apparel for a long time; and their Mens Carhartt Coats are no exception!

Please tell me more about that polyester insulation.

This insulation has been tested under the most extreme temperatures to make sure that it will live up to the reputation that precedes and goes along with the name Carhartt. Why is the company so strict when it comes to quality control, you may be asking? This is because Carhartt has such an excellent reputation in the industry and among its die-hard customers. They have come to expect this type of rugged quality from all of the outdoor apparel, including Mens Carhartt Coats, that Carhartt is famous for making. This very thick insulation is one of many reasons that all of the Mens Carhartt Coats are as sought after as they are.

What about the triple-stitched seams?

Chances are that you are asking about how the triple-stitched seam work works in keeping the wearer warm. This is also very simple; the triple-stitching is done to make sure that the cold and moisture cannot get inside of Mens Carhartt Coats in any way. This is another way that the folks at Carhartt make sure that their customers will always be warm and snug in their coats. The aim of triple-stitching all of the seams is to keep out the cold, rain and snow and keep the warmth next to your body where it is needed!

How else are Mens Carhartt Coats made to be sturdy?

There are a few more things that Carhartt puts into their Mens Carhartt Coats that are also designed to keep you very snug and as warm as possible, no matter what the weather throws at you: a corduroy top collar that has snaps for a hood and the interior rib-knit storm cuffs. What do these do? The corduroy collar is designed to keep the wind off of your neck; and does an even better job of that when you snap a detachable hood onto any of the Mens Carhartt Coats for added warmth. Well, what about those storm cuffs? The point of them being sewn into the inside of the sleeves is to keep the cold air, snow and ice out of the sleeves. The rib-knit designing means that these cuffs are better able to keep your arms warm in the coldest weather.

A final thought

You might be able to find a better coat elsewhere, but we do not think that you will find anything better than our Carhartt Coats.<bio>Mens Carhartt Coats and Mens Carhartt Winter Coats are a must for the working professional.
Can a massage with massage stones be a workout? Well, not in the sense that you get the same cardiovascular workout as running around on a sports field, or peddling for half an hour on an exercise bicycle. There is no heavy lifting. There is no heavy pushing or pulling. In fact, the most movement you will engage in during a massage, is moving from your back, to your stomach--and then vice-versa. So are warm-up and cool-down periods necessary before and after your massage? Conventional wisdom says that since a massage is not a typical cardiovascular workout, no need exists to prepare your body for it, or slowly return to your body's normal mode. But is that correct?

More than muscles
Before determining whether a warm-up and cool-down period is needed after a massage with hot stones, we should examine some of the benefits of such massages. They include:

• Relaxed muscles
• Improved range of motion
• Lower heart rate
• Decreased blood pressure
• Better blood circulation
• Increased endorphins (improving medical treatment)

Can a therapeutic massage build muscle, as weightlifting does? No, but massages can excite muscles that have been weak and unused. This is beneficial for people who have been inactive for a while, after suffering from an injury, for example.

So while getting a massage with massage stones will not make you winded or exhausted per se, the kneading of the muscles and the use of hot stones, gives your body a "light workout." In fact, you could think of it as a warm-up stretching exercise before a cardiovascular workout--without the cardiovascular workout.

The low-down on warm-ups (and cool-downs)

A warm-up exercise is used before a workout, to start stretching the muscles, and increasing your heart rate. It is a slow transition from normal mode to exercise mode. Similarly, a cool-down activity will shift you back to normal mode. Before performing strenuous exercising, warm-ups and cool-downs are vital for preparing the body for a workout, and can even be effective in preventing injuries.

Workout without motion

Is a warm-up and cool-down activity necessary before or after your massage with hot rocks? Yes, and no. Stretching before the massage is not necessary, as the massage itself serves as a type of stretching. Similarly, there is no need to jog around the building after your massage, to allow your heart rate to drop to its normal value.

However, before your massage with massage stones, it is important for you to gradually move your mind and body into a relaxing mode. Incense, peaceful music and soft lighting are some ways to prepare you well for the massage. These elements will help to make the massage experience with hot stones, a holistic one that involves senses other than the sense of touch involved in the massage itself.

Likewise, after the massage is over, your mind and body will need to gradually return to their pre-massage state. Again, this process will be less drastic than the ones needed before and after a cardiovascular workout. Nonetheless, you will still need to "recover" from the massage. Some of the most common methods are drinking a hot cup of green tea, or sleeping. With sleeping, you cool down into somewhat of a frozen state. But even if you do not catch a catnap, resting alone will serve as an excellent cool-down.

Like a computer that needs to be booted up and shut down, your body needs a gradual transition from normal mode to massage mode--and then back again. A "warm-up" and "cool-down" period will help to make this transition smoother whenever you enjoy a massage with hot stones. Make sure that the temperature range of your body coincides with the range of the massage stone.
It has long been thought that exercise induced asthma and allergy induced asthma were two different varieties altogether. Recent research has shed new light on this, however.

Exercise induced asthma is a shortness of breath, coughing and wheezing brought on by physical exertion. This is caused by inflammation of the lungs and the bronchial tissue which in turn can be caused by an allergic reaction to something. The inflammation can then trigger muscle spasms in the muscles surrounding the bronchial tube, making it even harder to catch your breath.

Even people who show no sign of asthma normally can trigger it through exercise. This could be due to changes in breathing patterns during exercise or it could be because people who suffer from exercise induced asthma are frequently more sensitive to atmospheric changes.

The rapid breathing that comes with exercise, which is often shallower as well, can lead to more allergens being inhaled as well as less time for the air to warm up when it is breathed in. When resting, we generally breathe through our nose which will warm up the air before it gets to the lungs.

Because most people breathe through their mouths while exercising, the air doesn't have the same chance to warm up and the cool, drier air can be more of an irritation.

Fortunately, there are some steps you can take to minimize the chance of an asthma attack due to exercise.

Firstly, if you use a bronchodilator inhaler, use it about 15 minutes prior to exercise. This will help to relax the muscles surrounding your bronchial tubes, lessening the chance of them being irritated by changes in your breathing pattern.

Spend extra time warming up before exercising. By preparing your body for the changes in breathing you can often avoid an asthma attack entirely. In a similar vein, take the time to cool down once your exercise session is complete.

Don't exercise outside during colder weather or if you must, wear a scarf or mask over your nose and mouth. This will help to trap the warm air near your mouth and nose which will in turn help to warm the colder outside air as you inhale it.

Also avoid outdoor exercise during pollen season or when the air quality is poor. When these are combined with the changes in breathing patterns during exercise, it's very likely to trigger an asthma attack. <bio>Jackson Sperry gives you the lowdown on asthma supplies and other related topics on the Asthma Explained website.
