Those who want to achieve a perfectly sculpted midsection will have a difficulty in choosing the "best" workout for them. With all those abs workouts floating around the multimedia world, choosing which workout exercise is best will be a little tricky.

Remember that the trick here is to perform exercises that work with the core to target all muscles at once. Also, try to trick the body into giving new ways to adapt the workout sessions.
You can do all sorts of exercises from stability balls to bodyweight but once your body gets used to the exercise routine, the whole program is useless. It is time to switch to another routine.

The progression of your abdominal workout should start from stable floor work to unstable surface routines with weight lifts. The progression aims you to get used to exercising first and then later when it becomes more unstable, it challenges your balance which puts all your muscles into play in the core. This way, your muscles are being challenged.

Take crunches, sit ups, and leg raises as examples. First, you perform these on a stable ground. Afterwards, you do them with a plank, then with a stability ball, then with added weights. Body weight exercises are progressed from front planks and side planks to one arm planks in the frontal and side planes.

To make the "ripped" abdominal muscles more visible, try to do a set of weighted movements. Suggestions include doing weighted abs crunches with cables or on a stability ball with a heavy dumbbell.

Be sure to perform these unstable exercise techniques on a full stretch. Like when you are crunching, you must make your upper abs be close to your lower abs as possible. This way, you get the repetitions maximize the fat burning and muscle development.

If you do not want to create a bulky image, do not perform weighted side bends. This exercise widens your waist instead of making your frame lean.

Hip flexion exercises should be done at the first part of the workout. It is true that the exercise specifically targets the lower abs only but you can't separate one muscle group from the other so, this exercise also hits the whole abs muscle groups as a whole.

To give a little force on the lower area, try doing progressions of leg raises. Do it on a floor then later on a stability ball or with weights.

At this point, you may want to consider the frequency of your abs workouts. The important rule here is to do it as frequently as you can as long as the abdominal muscles have recovered from the strain. It is however better if you start your abs workout if it the muscles are the weakest because this will give a chance for the muscles to work more. Be cautious in pushing your limits though. You must know when to stop and start the exercise routine.

All the abs exercises will be futile if you don't incorporate the other rules: proper diet, elimination of vices, and calorie intake plus weight training and cardio exercises are also important in achieving that chiseled abs.<bio>For the best way to get six pack abs the fast, check out Your Six Pack Abs Quest</bio>

Why do we say "God bless you" when a person sneezes? It started in the Middle Ages when they thought that the devil could enter a person when they were unguarded, such as in the midst of a sneeze. It was thought, if someone said the magic words, "God bless you", then the demonic possession could be avoided.

There are many high rises where you can walk from the twelfth floor to the fourteenth floor and only take one flight of stairs. Where's the thirteenth floor? In Western cultures, there's a fear called triskaidekaphobia. .. the fear of thirteen.

We live in an unstable world and as it increases to become even more unstable, we look for things to help us explain the world, to give us a sense of stability. How can this be used to our advantage in persuasion?

Are you someone who avoids walking under ladders? This superstition dates back to early Christianity. People observed that the sides of the latter and the ground formed a triangle--the symbol of the Holy Trinity.

By walking under the ladder, it was thought, there was a violation of the trinity, putting those that walked under it on the same level as the devil. I didn't know this. But I sure have been avoiding walking under ladders since I was a kid. Perhaps it's wise. . . on a physical level, avoiding ending up with a bucket of paint . . .but why do we believe bad luck will befall us if we do this? It's a real stretch.

I have an acquaintance who believes all religion and spirituality is superstition. I happen to think he's wrong, but I appreciate the perspective in that it's just another example of how framing is a powerful tool for looking at the world around us.

Superstition is defined as 'an irrational belief that an object, action, or circumstance not logically related to a course of events influences its outcome.'

Helen Keller asserted, "Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature. . . Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." This is a powerful example of how diverse we are in our thinking, and at the same time, we all believe in something as irrational as 'security'.

How can we use this fact, that we're all to some degree 'irrational' and that we all believe in 'something', to persuade?

The more unstable the world, the more we seek stability. As persuaders we have the ability to offer explanations.

In the very same way, people look for reasons to support their beliefs, even nonsensical reasons, to explain their reality and to assign blame, so too can we.

One of my favorite superstitious phrases is, 'There are no accidents'. We can use this to effectively persuade our affluent clients and prospects. For example, say our client has had problems in the past, we can use this term to indicate that that time is past and that those problems are over and that there's a reason they've ended up talking to you. 'After all, there are no accidents.'

Is it true that we live in a universe where there are no accidents? Of course not. Will you be called on it by your prospect or client? Probably not. Unless you come up against a cynic who views the world through the frame that everyone is superstitious. <bio>Kenrick Cleveland teaches techniques to earn the business of affluent clients using persuasion.
Lenders are making the market for new loans sound so good. Other types of loans are already on the market, and understood. So, how do you get new people to jump on your bandwagon? You offer something that sounds good, but one that not everybody yet understands. That seems to be the case of the 125% home equity loan, too.

The Promise

The promise that is made is to give you 125% of the value of your house for a second mortgage. This way you can enjoy having extra finances to use as you please. You can pay off other debt, fix up the house, combine both mortgages, go on a vacation, or whatever. The choice is up to you.

What, though, is the truth behind a 125% mortgage? Here are some details. Some of these companies actually want to lend you more money than your house is actually worth. Think about it. Are they really trying to help? With other lenders, it can actually be a little difficult to get 80% of the value of a house (they are the smart ones). Why are these agencies trying to push extra money in your face?

Extra Charges

A number of these companies charge 10% if you want to get a lower rate of interest than what is initially offered. That's just for starters. While they do offer lower rates than what credit cards usually go for, it actually may not be much more, since second mortgages are typically more than a first mortgage. Plus, there is an origination fee, closing costs, and more.

Stay Where You Are

With the extra charges, and owing considerably more than your house is worth, you can plan on not moving anytime soon. This puts you in a negative equity situation. Many people who bought houses even last year are finding out that this is not a good situation to be in. It is possible, in a day of unstable housing markets, that your house could also be devalued -- making it even harder, if not impossible to sell -- for years more. It could also mean going into greater debt.

It will also take you a few years just to recover from the various expenses of the mortgage - let alone bring your debt down to where you can make any profit on selling the house. And getting the downpayment for a new house while you owe so much - don't even go there - it will only be in your dreams.

An even greater problem may occur if you have an adjustable rate mortgage. Sooner or later, there is going to be a rate increase, and it could be as much as 50% higher than it is now.

Compare

If you still want to consider a 125% mortgage, then be sure to compare one company's product with another. You will be able to see the features that really stand out, and be able to see what features you may need, or want. Be wary of mortgages that promise no fees, because you can be sure that it has been added in there somewhere - and probably more things, too. <bio>Joe Kenny writes for the UK personal finance sites http://www.ukpersonalloanstore.co.uk and also http://www.cardguide.co.uk </bio>

If you're in a position where you may lose your house to the greedy mortgage or finance company you financed your home through you may feel helpless. However, you are not alone. In fact, there are thousands of repossession cases out there, just like yours.

Because of rising UK interest rates, the prospect of repossession is very real for thousands of home owners. Sure, the economy is strong and lenders are being more than generous with loans. But, with that generosity also can come trouble. Of course, even the smallest interest rate rise can make your financial situation unstable. In addition, if you're dealing with divorce, illness or other personal problems, you may be in a state of financial crisis.

Having your family home repossessed is a terrible experience for anyone. The stress those going through repossession experience can be trying and terrifying. Honestly, there is no easy way out of the situation. The lenders will not back away, because they obviously want their money. The one and only way to get them off your back and to stop repossession is to hand over all of the back dated money you owe them. Sometimes, you can hold them off by showing them a plan of your intended payments.

If you are suffering through the unfortunate situation of home repossession, use these tips to reduce your stress. Be proactive and creative in your plan!

1. Call your mortgage company

Most mortgage companies will allow you to work out some type of deal with them, even at the last possible moment. They may be able to offer you new possibilities that could even include them loaning you more money to clear your debts or starting a new payment plan. Even if you've gotten a court appearance letter, you should try to call your mortgage company!

2. Be prepared with your plan

If it looks as if your situation will certainly be handled in court, be sure to show up prepared. Be sure to bring an organized file with all correspondence with all parties in it. Have a list detailing your expenses and income history. Being organized and prepared will show that you are serious about your finances, but you've fallen into hard times. You may even want to think about coming up with an effective and efficient plan of how you plan to sell your home quickly. The judge may even grant you more time to sort everything out. After all, courts don't like repossession orders anymore than anyone else.

3. Find good advice

Before making any decisions, the best thing you can do for yourself is to find legal and financial advice. You want to be sure you're doing everything you can to avoid losing your home. Your advisor should make sure your mortgage company is not making it unreasonably difficult for you to clear your debts with them. They can help explain the court process and help you prepare for what's to come. Many financial advisors can also arrange short-notice loans. They can often also help you make arrangements to sell your home and stop repossession. <bio>Richard Smart is a professional writer specifically in the field of business and finance.
Fighting against diseases such as cancer -- and maintaining a healthy lifestyle -- has become something of a pastime among those who are tuned in to continuing research. And what research has shown is an ever-present connection between diet and the sustenance of the body's health. Antioxidants -- the buzz word of modern health talk -- have garnered quite a bit of attention as of late, as has those foods that contain them. Antioxidant food varies in is form but provides consistent results -- to help protect the body against illness.

Antioxidant food contains nutrients that work to combat free radicals -- those molecules in the body that attack healthy cells. Free radicals develop from molecules that become unstable due to poor diet as well as environmental factors such as smoking. Molecules are considered unstable when they begin attacking healthy cells to find their missing electrons. These rebel molecules have been linked to many different types of cancer.

Those nutrients found in antioxidant food work to stabilize these rabid molecules. Included in antioxidant food are such things as fresh fruits and vegetables - fruits such as apricots, watermelon, and tomatoes and tomato products, all of which contain lycopene; green leafy vegetables such as spinach which contain the antioxidant lutein; vegetables rich in beta-carotene such as carrots, pumpkin, and sweet potatoes; and foods rich in Vitamins A (eggs and milk), C (fruits and vegetables), and E (nuts and broccoli) that have also been shown to be high in antioxidants. On the more enjoyable side -- dark chocolate and even red wine have been shown to be acceptable antioxidant food.

Finding antioxidant food that satisfies health requirements as well as meeting your specific enjoyment requirements, can take a little time.
If you are on your pick to get a mortgage, let me tell you that it won't be easy. The task is further compounded these days by the sheer variety of mortgage options available in the financial markets. What is the best way to zoom in on that perfect mortgage?

The most basic mortgage loan is the thirty-year fixed rate mortgage. This removes the insecurity that may be prevalent in other types of mortgages, by offering a fixed term and a fixed rate of interest.

Another kind of mortgage is the one-year adjustable rate mortgage. This type of mortgage is also one of thirty years. But in this case, the rate of interest changes annually based on the index that your loan uses.

These two basic mortgage types are combined in different ways. Some loans fix the rate of interest for periods of three or five years, and then the rate is allowed to change.

There are still other mortgage options that permit you to make up your mind as to your mode of payment. So you could pay back the entire amount in one go, or you could make more than a single payment, or even just pay the interest for that month. These mortgage options, if used wisely, will result in a good deal of savings. However, if for instance, you make a habit of paying only the interest amount, it could spiral into a lot more expense than you had originally bargained for.

So even while looking at the various kinds of mortgages, assure yourself that you find a mortgage that meets all your specific requirements. When comparing mortgages, decide what are the issues that are important to you. Would you prefer a unchanging rate of interest or would you like to avail of market conditions where the rates drop for a while? Are you looking to pay off the loan in one shot or would you rather repay it in small installments, over a long period of time?

Try looking for mortgage loans that offer you an interest cap so that even if the interest rates are allowed to alternate, they will never go beyond your reach. If you are a person with an unstable income, you could consider taking up an adjustable rate mortgage which allows you to decide to pay whatever amount you deem fit at that time. This is a risky option to go for, but is very suitable for a person with an unstable income.

The mortgage loan seeker is spoilt for choice today. Make a wise selection. <bio>The author Ajeet Khurana recommends Mortgage at http://www.1mortgagesuk.co.uk/ Mortgages at http://www.1mortgagesuk.co.uk/ and Loans and Leases at http://www.loanleases.com/ </bio>

The option trading and its commodity features are not open for everyone. This is because it is a very risky, intricate and unstable business. Only a few people get into this kind of trading because they are not quite sure if they will succeed, and if investing will be worth it in the end.

There are some things you need to understand before you invest in option trading and other money features. First you need to consider your goals, financial experiences, financial resources and you should know how much you can afford and accept to lose which is beyond and above your initial payments. This you need to be aware of because as it has been said earlier, investing can be too risky.

Understanding commodity features and other option contracts is important before entering into those kinds of contracts. You should know in advance the rules so that you can estimate whether you are capable of handling your obligations. If you are not familiar with the process of the trading, you need to know who you should contact if ever you have problems or questions that may arise. Option trading can be very complex, so you need to have someone to guide you.

The option trading and the futures are innately unstable and shaky. Investors need to understand that this option does not apply to all of them. In investing, you need to know how much you can lose and sincerely evaluate if you can accept to lose it in the scrutiny of your financial resources and the investment goals. You need to share your conclusions with a broker in order to determine if your decisions are sound and appropriate. If you think that you are capable and you have all the reasons to invest in the option trading and the futures, you also need to determine the extent to which you wish to rely with the advice of the broker rather than trusting your own decisions.

Then after realizing, you should compare and evaluate all the methods of trading before choosing the one that you think that will best apply your goals. Lastly, you should set some limits regarding the duration of the investment and the amount of loss you are willing to put yourself into. Just like the other financial markets, option trading and futures, they are recurring and the gains may not be that immediate.

Option trading is basically a system of contracts that allow a person to stocks at a definite price. In investing, you pay money up as front for the option because you might think that the stock will move higher or lower. When the stock goes up, the call option goes up and when it goes down, it also goes down. However, there is a certain problem that occurs with the trading option, and that is for the reason it expires. <bio>Stu Pearson has an interest Business andamp; Finance related topics.
Avalanches are a substantial potential threat to climbers year round. Every year, dozens of individuals are killed during avalanches because they were unequipped, did not recognize the danger signs or pushed too hard. Be prepared and you can remain safe while enjoying your climb.

Types of Avalanche

The two primary kinds of avalanches that occur in snow are point release and slab avalanches. Each has different characteristics and warning signs.

Point Release

When a single rock or snowball comes loose and the effect slowly grows larger, this is a point release avalanche. These are the less dangerous of the two kinds of avalanche as they are generally shallow and will usually only knock or push you to the ground. They can, however, be dangerous if you are climbing a Cliffside and are pushed free.

Slab Avalanche

A slab avalanche is when massive plates and chunks of ice and snow break loose and start to fall. Because of the larger scale, these avalanches are much more dangerous. When the weakened layer of snow collapses, the snow on top breaks up and starts to slide as well. A slab avalanche will vary greatly in size, from a point release sized slide to a massive flurry that can bury a house.

Avalanche Sizes

There are five primary sizes of avalanche. They include the following:

Class One =96 The equivalent of a point release. Will knock people over, but not deep enough to bury anything. Class Two =96 Deep enough to bury a person. Class Three =96 Deep enough to bury a car. Class Four =96 Deep enough to bury a house. Class Five =96 Deep enough to bury multiple houses =96 catastrophic avalanche.

The Avalanche Triangle

The danger of an avalanche is established when three points are present. These three points are considered the avalanche triangle and should keep climbers home or at their base.

Terrain =96 There are certain areas that are more prone to avalanches. This avalanche terrain is often quite obvious as there will be few if any trees present and an angle of more than thirty degrees to the slope. Anything less than thirty degrees is usually to gentle of a slope for severe avalanches.

Avalanches are still possible at small and large angles though. You may be on a run out area, accounting for a twenty degree slope. Alternately, though forty five degrees and higher is usually safe because snow will slide down naturally as it lands, there are certain circumstances in which avalanches are still possible at this angle.

Unstable Snow =96 The stability of the snow is one of the primary points of hazard for an avalanche. If it shifts readily under your feet, looks as though it has not moved in days or weeks, and no animals are present, the snow is likely very unstable, marking the area as a high danger zone for avalanches.

People =96 When there are people present, there is a danger of being caught up in an avalanche. If they are not present, an avalanche is nothing more than a beautiful act of nature. If you notice unstable snow in avalanche terrain, steer yourself and any other people away to remain safe.

There are many things you can do to avoid being caught up in an avalanche when you go climbing, skiing or snowboarding. The first thing is to know what you are looking for. By acknowledging and steering clear of potential danger points, you can keep yourself and your friends safe from the imminent bodily harm the mountain might inflict. <bio>Tony Brian is a freelance writer for outdoor sports magazines and a contributing writer for http://www.paintball-gun.com/tippmann-paintball-guns.html tippman paintball guns specializing in Avalanches and Terrain. </bio>

Let's take our heads out of the sands and admit that times are tough. Though many people are feeling their wallets shrink, there are a number of people who are less affected by a weak economy. Among them are people who work at home.

Now, not everyone who works from home is going to come out of it wealthy, but there are those who will improve their financial situation.

Right now is actually the perfect time to work at home as it is the current trend. More companies are setting up telecommuting programs for their employees as an effective method to cut overhead expenses. Not only that but, unstable economic conditions encourage people to set up full or part-time home based businesses.

Although there are financial benefits to working at home such the costs saved on buying expensive work clothes, saving on gas (which is through the roof), and tax benefits, working from home in itself won't get you closer to wealth. You have to be smart about the way you do it.

Many people when they look for a self-employment opportunity approach it with the same attitude and standards as working outside the home. That is--they search for linear working relationships. The problem with linear income is there is a limit on what you can earn.

A classic example of a work at home linear income job is, you sell something to one person, get paid and then look for another person to sell to. By doing this you are putting yourself in the same economic trap that you were originally trying to free yourself from.

Very few people can obtain wealth with a linear income especially if you work at home. Even if you do make a lot of money you have to work longer hours, take on extra responsibility and be prepared for financial liability.

Instead of looking for opportunities where you are paid once for a task you do look for work at home opportunities that allow you to build residual or passive income. In other words find opportunities that pay for a task you did.

Smart people, wealthy people, people who are rarely affected by a weak economy look for opportunities that will generate a recurring, long term income, while they sleep, while they are on vacation even when they retire.

These types of work at home jobs do not build themselves overnight. They take some initial effort to set up but require little maintenance after.

Affiliate marketing is one of the best ways to earn passive income and work at home. When looking for affiliate programs look for those that pay life time commissions. Royalties are also a great way to earn recurring income. If writing is a skill of yours there are many websites that pay royalties for your articles.

The financial situation for many is looking bleak. But you can turn it around if you work at home. Because you are making more money and are saving money, your financial situation will greatly improve. Just remember when you are looking for home based opportunities look for those where you work once and get paid over and over again.<bio>Jeff Casmer is an internet marketing consultant and work at home business owner.
The decision to bring a pet into your home for you and your family should not be taken lightly. A pet will become a member of your family and not just a fixture in your home. Pets are not meant to come and go, but to remain as part of your home for years to come. Unfortunately for some, pets are disposable items that will be moved if they are an inconvenience. This should be avoided since unstable homes can make unstable pets.

A checklist for pet care can be an essential tool when you first bring home your new pet. For many people, a new pet is their first experience at being a full-time pet parent, and for those this list will be most useful. Preparing yourself, your home, and your pet for those first few months in a new environment will make the change go gracefully and help everyone adjust easily.

1. The first thing you want to be sure of is that your pet has all of their vaccinations up to date. It is important that your new pet is protected from such outside irritants as fleas, tics, ringworm, or many other ailments such as distemper or rabies. The health of your pet is one of the most important aspects of ongoing care. Wellness exams each year are important for your pet. A veterinarian will perform a thorough exam on your pet looking at such things as their vital signs, ears, eyes, mouth, the heart and lungs, as well as the reproductive organs and their skin. This step is a very important preventative measure for your pet each year.

2. Getting your home ready for your new pet can be a big task, but one that is essential for the big day that your new friend comes home. If it is a small caged animal, a small space that is quiet is fine for them to be used to their surroundings. You will not want to take your new friend out just yet, but let them get used to the sounds and smells of their new home before you start introducing them outside of their immediate surroundings. If it is a larger, self-sufficient animal such as a cat or dog, you will want to make sure that they have their own space, a blanket or pet bed for retreating to, out of the way in case they are too overwhelmed at the beginning.

3. Regular physical routine is essential for any pet. This is their exercise routine since they are not like us and do activity regularly without the help of us. Larger pets such as dogs must be walked every day, smaller animals like cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, and birds can be trained to play with anyone in the family. Toys such as balls, bells, tubes, or even apparatuses are useful in helping your pet achieve physical activity during the day while you are away or even you interacting with them while they are exploring.

If you follow some simple guidelines, your new pet is sure to adapt to his new family in no time at all. Regular checkups, physical activity and preventative measures can not only make your pet more comfortable, but also extend the life of your pet. A pet is an investment so you will want to be sure to take care of him for the benefit of everyone. <bio>Derek Rogers is a freelance writer who represents a number of UK businesses.
We've all been there- you're out shopping and you see the perfect pair of shoes or the newest laptop available - and you just have to have it. Unfortunately, your checking account doesn't have the money to buy it right now, but your credit card does. For many of us, the temptation is just too strong and we end up charging an item we can't afford and could have lived without.

Purchases like these begin to add up and before you know it, you're drowning in a sea of debt with no lifeguard in sight. Credit cards can be great, but they can also be destructive to your financial future. If you're late with payments and deep in debt, you're going to look like a huge risk to potential lenders. You'll find that you're being turned down for the items you want most in life, like a new car, home, apartment, dream vacation or even a loan for college tuition.

To use your credit card correctly, you need to charge only items you can afford to pay back in full- or at least by half- each month. It's not okay to continuously max out your credit card and then pay only the minimum each month. By doing this you're going to lower your credit score and scare off lenders. To them, you look irresponsible and come across as financially unstable.

To fix this problem, figure out how much extra you have to spend each month and charge a few items that fit within the specified amount. Doing this will ensure you have the money to pay for your items when the bill comes.

It's unnecessary to have more than three credit cards at one time, so don't go on an applying spree to see how many you can get. If you want lenders to take you seriously, owning a slew of credit cards isn't going to do the trick- but owning a couple that you pay off regularly will.

Until you have the means, keep your purchases to a minimum and your credit cards will start to work in your favor. You'll notice that your credit score is going up and lenders will start to extend credit to you at fair interest rates. There are many benefits of owning a credit card, but if you're not careful, the risks can far outweigh the advantages. But if you're realistic about your financial situation and set boundaries for yourself, you'll end up with a great credit score and a stable financial history. <bio>Visit http://www.creditandyou.com for more infomation on how to shop for, use, and get credit cards if you have bad credit or no credit. </bio>

Paying your bills a few weeks late and maxing out your credit cards may not seem like a big deal to you now, but when you decide to get serious about your financial situation, you'll realize you've made quite a mess for yourself.

It can be easy to push thoughts of repercussion for your financial faux pas out of your mind, but when you start applying for personal loans, mortgages, apartments- and possibly even jobs- you might be surprised at the answer.

If you're hearing 'no' left and right, you need to take a look at your credit report to find out just how much damage has been done. Your credit score often dictates whether or not a lender will approve you and if your credit score is very low, you probably won't be approved at all.

Most credit bureaus use a credit scoring system that ranks from 300 (the worst) to 850 (a perfect score). People with a score under 600 can expect to be charged very high interest rates if they are approved for a loan. A credit score well over 620 should be aimed for, and anything over 700 looks great to lenders.

If your credit score is very low- under 500- you probably aren't going to be approved for any loans. You will most likely be asked to supply a co-signer if you want to get the loan badly enough because your credit isn't good enough to get it on your own.

You can reestablish good score by paying your bills on time each month, but it will take some time. Six months of steady payments will start to increase your credit score, so keep making your due dates each month and you'll see it slowly start to rise.

Another way you can bump up your credit score is by paying off your credit cards. If you've only been paying the minimum and your cards are maxed out, this might be another reason your credit score is low. If you don't want to look like a financial risk to lenders, don't charge more than you can afford per month.

A high balance and no available credit gives the impression that you are financially unstable and lenders won't extend credit to you as a result. If you want to change how you're viewed by lenders, devise a strict monthly budget and stick to it. Set aside enough money to pay all of your bills per month and write down the due dates for each on a calendar if it will help you remember. Anything you do to help yourself get organized and financially responsible will go a long way to restoring your credit score. <bio>Visit http://www.creditandyou.com now to find out more about credit scoring, and what you can do starting right now to raise your credit score. </bio>

If you have a credit card or are looking to get one, it is important that you understand the ins and outs of credit card APR. Credit card APR is the biggest factor in determining how much you pay for your credit card, and so to get the best deal you need to know what it is and how it works. Here is some advice regarding the ins and out of credit card APR.

What is APR?

APR stands for Annual Percentage Rate, and is a measure of the cost of the credit you borrow. The APR is the amount that you pay yearly in interest on the money that you borrow on your credit card.

How much is credit card APR?

Credit card APR can vary massively depending on your financial situation, the type of card you want and the deals on offer. Generally, credit card APR ranges from 10-18%. If you shop around then you will find the best deal for your needs.

How do I find out the APR?

Credit card APR is very easy to find out, and all lenders are required to tell you the APR of a card before you sign up for it. Also, credit cards are generally advertised by the cost of their APR.

Comparing APR

If you are trying to find the best credit card deal, then there are many places online where you can compare the various APR rates of credit cards from different lenders. Although there are other costs involved with credit cards, generally a lower APR is better.

O% APR deals

If you are looking for a credit card, then you might see 0% APR credit card deals advertised. Although many of these deals are not what they seem to be, there really are some great introductory offers to be had. Some cards do offer 3 or 6 months with 0% APR, meaning that you can use your credit without paying any interest during this period. This gives you basically free credit, providing that you pay it back in this time.

Drawbacks of 0% APR

The drawbacks of these deals are that there are often hidden costs involved, such as high fees if you miss payments or go over your credit limit. Also, once the 0% period ends the credit card is generally has a higher APR rate than other cards. To use 0% APR cards to your advantage, you should look for one that has a fairly low rate after the initial period, or swap cards once the 0% period ends. If you invest a little time and effort you can skip from 0% APR to 0% APR on various cards. Of course, this can make you look financially unstable so you should be careful when swapping cards frequently. However, if you understand APR rates then you will be able to find a great credit card deal. <bio>Peter Kenny is a writer for creditcards-gb Please visit us at http://www.creditcards-gb.co.uk and http://www.thriftyscot.co.uk/Credit-Cards/ </bio>

In order to make the worst of a situation better, it's best that you understand how you deal with a situation like this..

Airlines will do just about anything when it comes to keeping a customer loyal to their program. This may mean giving the customer a voucher, free food credits, upgrades, and more. It's your job to follow the tips below so that not only will your problem be solved but you'll be able to get the compensation you deserve.

Deal with the person immediately

Depending on what your problem is, make sure that you notify an airline employee immediately. Don't wait until you get home or your trip is over because this will only worsen the situation. The reason you'll want to contact an employee on the spot is because you'll want them to scout the situation and make a note for them self.. That employee will now be a witness to the situation that just happened.

Know the details

Before you make a big fuss about your complaint, make sure that you're complaining about something that is legit. You're going to want to ask yourself a few questions. You're going to want to ask yourself, "Why are you complaining?", "What exactly was the situation?", and "What do you want as an outcome?" It's always best to brainstorm these questions before you actually go out and complain to an official.

File your complaint

Once you make sure the airline employees know about it, make sure that you take the time to file a complaint with the corporation itself. The best way to do so is contact the airliner either by phone or mail. It's usually best to do both. The reason you should contact the airliners by mail is because most email is only answered with a basic reply letter with no compensation at all. When you send out a letter, you'll usually receive a letter or call back from the airlines itself.

Depending on what your situation is, you should usually expect to not get a lot back from the airlines. If the situation was something bad such as staying on the runway for eight hours then you and your fellow passengers have something to complain about and the airliners will definitely compensate you for something like that. If the situation is something along the lines of getting your luggage lost then you're probably not going get much compensation back from the airlines.

When you're making your complaint to the airlines, make sure that you keep your cool. If you're going to yell and make a scene, the employees are most likely to call the police and they won't give you the time of the day. Remember to treat them as if it were you. Keeping your cool will only make the situation better. <bio>Tom Tessin runs http://www.findairlinecards.com that foucuses on travel credit cards. </bio>

"A double minded man is unstable in all his ways," wrote the ancient apostle James (KJV, James 1:8). When part of us wants one thing and another part of us wants something else, we become double minded. And, like James taught, when we are double minded, it is nearly impossible to achieve our goals=97we're unstable.

This is perhaps the single most significant obstacle individuals encounter on the path to creating goals and realizing dreams.

I often use this physical description to explain the dilemma: Let's say that I live in Kansas and I want to go on vacation=97to both New York City and Los Angeles. I can't decide which one (and I can't take two vacations)! Part of me really wants to drive east to New York, while part of me wants to drive west to LA. These two destinations are on opposite ends of the United States. I'm sitting in my car, trying to decide. I know that I can go to only one city at a time, so I must pick one. I can't vacillate between locations and expect to arrive at any destination; if I started driving, I could literally spend hours going around in circles and never get anywhere.

The same thing can happen to us when we set goals. Obviously, if we've set a goal, a part of us must want the thing we're fervently attempting to manifest. But other parts of our subconscious selves may not agree with the conscious plans we've set. In order to complete the creation process, we must discover those subconscious parts, overcome them, and then be single-minded in our goals.

Here are a few examples. Let's say I want to make more money. Let's also say that I come from a lower income family. Growing up, my family spent a lot of time relaying non-verbal messages that having money is bad=97people who have a lot of money are selfish and greedy, I learned. This means, that I might even be bad for seeking after money. I've become conflicted. Part of me wants to make money; but part of me is afraid that if I do, I may not be loved or accepted by my family. Even though making more money is a great goal and would benefit my current family=97and I have the ability to accomplish the goal=97if I don't overcome my feelings about money, I'll never be able to take the action needed to realize my dream.

Here's another example. Let's say that part of me wants to lose weight. But part of me feels safe when I am heavier. I feel protected and secure when I eat foods that don't support my weight loss. In this situation, my goal to lose weight is in direct opposition to the parts of me that use food for comfort and stress relief. I can never lose weight if part of me continues to think that food is the best way to find emotional relief.

These subconscious feelings are hard to admit=97and sometimes hard to discover.

I've learned, however, that the intentions of our hearts eventually manifest themselves, regardless of our conscious efforts. This truth can be observed in every universal aspect, including in the life of a pigeon. Did you know that pigeons can be taken from their home nests and placed half way around the world from their birth environment and, through their simple, instinctive desire to return home (one that is programmed within them), they will eventually come back to their original nests.

Our intentions are powerful! If we want something other than what we deeply intend within our hearts, we will find ourselves conflicted. If we want to find approval from our families more than we want to change our financial habits, we'll never reach the goal of making more money. If we want to receive comfort from food more than we want to lose weight, we'll never drop the pounds we'd like to.

As you work to achieve your goals, take some time to perform some self-exploration. Ask yourself these questions:

Am I double minded about my dreams? Is part of me afraid to get what I want? When I listen to my heart, what do I hear myself say I want? Are these answers conflicting? If so, how can they be resolved?

If you need further assistance, refer to "Healing Your Family History" (Rebecca Hintze, foreword by Stephen R. Covey, Hay House, Inc., 2006). Specifically go over chapter three, "Getting Past Ground Hog Day." <bio>Rebecca Hintze is the author of "Healing Your Family History."
The other day I was riding and found myself in a road paving project area. This was a project on a 4-lane road with 1/2 of the two lanes on my side paved... and the other 1/2 getting prepared for paving to continue. The problem is that the 1/2 that was paved was the left lane and this caused a height difference andquot;ridgeandquot; of approximately 1 - 2 inches of asphalt between the two lanes (of course I was in the right andquot;low-sideandquot; lane).

This wouldn't have been a problem if I could have stayed in the lane I was in... but once into the paving area all cars had to merge from the right to the left lane. Speeds on this road were about 40 miles per hour and on a normal motorcycle this would have been scary enough! On a chopper (let alone a wide rear tire) it was one of the scariest things I have had to do. In the moment before the transition I tried to slow down as much as I could in the andquot;bumper to bumperandquot; traffic, gripped the handlebars firmly, and then once there was an opening in the traffic to move over I tried to make the andquot;cutandquot; at as sharp of an angle as was possible.

Let me just say that andquot;I made itandquot; but it was really an unstable situation for a few seconds. It made me remember why Driver Education schools teach you that andquot;if your tire goes off the road... stay off the road and slow way down... and then sharply turn back on when there is a safe margin to do soandquot; and that is in a 4-wheel CAR!

I think that was the closest I have come to andquot;going downandquot; on a bike in over 20 years... so, I am writing this down so I don't forget. When you have to cross over and onto a ridge that is running parallel to your path of travel:

Slow down as much as possible (I didn't do this enough). Get a large safety margin between other traffic (Wait for a large opening). Get a firm grip on the handlebars. Try to cross-over the ridge at a strong angle (don't try to ease up on the ridge). I didn't do any of these things very well and it almost ended in a crash. For me, my biggest mistake was #1... so next time I am faced with this I will be sure to slow down much more and get a better angle on the ridge.

Ride safe!
Men are usually deep in emotions. They do not express well there feelings that is why they are often misunderstood. It is always painful in the part of girls when there boyfriend leave them with no particular reason, or if they had it is not sometime reasonable. How do I get my ex boyfriend back - the answer is by understanding men in nature. Through understanding how they feel and think about relationship could give you a good strategic plan.

How do I get my ex boyfriend back? It is easy. Just learn the three important tips on it.

First, how do I get my ex boyfriend back? Enjoy yourself first. Breaking up will give you mixed emotions. So it is helpful if you enjoy first and take time to relax instead of thinking always about the guy and how it ended up. Enjoying your life can give a good aura, wherein you will grow to another person, a glow in your face that will renew yourself. It is important that you will take good care of yourself first because sometimes worrying this much will lower your self-esteem and there is tendency that you will be ignored by your ex-boyfriend. So let him see that you are coping up or recovering well from your break up.

When you finally unwind and are ready to face what you really want, then it is important to keep in touch with him. Even the break up caused you a miserable feeling, the burning desire of yours to be together with him is what really matters. But of course, take it step-be-step until your ex-boyfriend realize that she needs you again.

Second, how do I get my ex boyfriend back? Be tough and flexible. By being tough you can decide properly. If you want your ex boyfriend to be back to you then be strong. Be strong in giving him the space that he wants for the meantime. Be flexible in dealing with your ex-boyfriend. Sometimes because of the desperation of winning him back, there is a tendency to be submissive. You can be over ruled by your emotions. Instead be tough and flexible. Know what is necessary and what is not.

Third, how do I get my ex boyfriend back? By being friend a friend him. The break up may be painful but there are still reasons for that to patch up. Being friend with him does not mean taking advantage of him to respond immediately to your feelings. But instead being friend with him means that you had accepted the whole scenario that you are not together in the picture. You are no longer a couple but instead two good friends. This may take a lot of time to accept but in this way being friend with him is one way showing to him that you are there for him.

The unstable emotions of men make them distant from their true feelings. Sometimes men need to open up their emotion to someone to be able also to understand how painful they are going through. Stopping themselves from crying or by hiding their true feelings, it becomes more difficult for them. so by being there with him, listening, it can be an advantage of winning him back.<bio>Want to learn the secret to How Do I Get My ex Boyfriend Back?
'Very superstitious, writing's on the wall Very superstitious, ladders bout' to fall Thirteen month old baby, broke the lookin' glass Seven years of bad luck, the good things in your past

When you believe in things that you don't understand Then you suffer Superstition ain't the way' --Stevie Wonder, 'Very Superstitious'

Most cultures have their superstitions. Think about your knee jerk reaction when someone sneezes. "God bless you." This started in the Middle Ages when people thought that if your body was left unguarded, as in the midst of a sneeze, the devil could enter. Saying the magic words 'God bless you' in the moments after the sneeze assured that the devil would not take over the body of the sneezer.

Here's another good one. . . there is no thirteenth floor in many high rise buildings. You can walk right up one flight from twelve to fourteen. Why? There's a common fear called triskaidekaphobia. . .fear of the number thirteen. Superstition.

We've got fears about walking under ladders (dating back to early Christianity when the sides of the ladder and ground formed a triangle--the Holy Trinity, violating it putting you on the same level as the devil. No one really knows why this superstition exists nowadays, the just know it's "bad luck" to walk under ladders. It's possible this is practical, they don't want something to fall on them, but a bucket of paint is a little different from bad luck.

An acquaintance of mine believes all religion is superstition. In my opinion, he's wrong, but I appreciate his perspective nonetheless as just another example of how frames surround everything we think about and do.

Superstition is defined as 'an irrational belief that an object, action, or circumstance not logically related to a course of events influences its outcome.'

Helen Keller once said that, "Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature.... Life is either a daring adventure or nothing." This is an example of how diverse we all are, and yet, we all believe in something irrational.

How can we use our prospect's and client's irrational beliefs to persuade them?

We're living in unstable times and the world can be a scary place. The more unstable things become, the more people search out stability. They constantly look for ways to explain why. For persuasion purposes, you have the ability to offer an answer, an explanation, to help them make sense out of the specific part of their life that you're involved in.

We can not only help people look for reasons to support their decisions, but we can look to explain their reality and assign blame, if need be.

One of my favorite terms born of superstition is "There are no accidents". This presupposes so much and can be used to maneuver. . .'Yes, you've had problems in the past, but those problems are what brought you to this point. And now you're here. And things can move forward for the good. You ended up with me for a reason.'

Is this true and verifiable? No. Absolutely not. But will you be called on it? Unless you're trying to sell my acquaintance, the cynic, who views the world through the frame that everyone is superstitious except him, I seriously doubt it. <bio>Kenrick Cleveland teaches techniques to earn the business of affluent clients using persuasion.
To know what to look for in an antiaging skin care product, it's important to understand what causes deterioration in the skin over time. All aspects of aging, including slack skin, wrinkles and uneven skin tone are the result of free radical damage at the molecular level.

Oxygen molecules are the bad boys of the antiaging world. When involved in a chemical reaction, they frequently lose one of their electrons and then dash madly about trying to steal an electron from another molecule. This can start a destructive chain reaction of unstable molecules, called free radicals, dashing around creating more unstable molecules.

Think of it like a radical mob building to riot force. Free radical damage is also known as oxidation. On metal, it appears in the form of rust. So when we say we are getting rusty, it's not really far from the truth!

Fortunately skin has amazing regenerative abilities that help it repair damage up to a point. As well, nature has provided an anti-riot squad called The Antioxidants. Antioxidants are found in the human body and elsewhere in nature. They effectively block free radicals from getting to other healthy stable molecules.

But there are factors that can accelerate free radical damage to the point that the balance of power shifts in favor of the free radical mob. Current thinking categorizes the factors into: lifestyle (meaning where and how you live); the natural aging process; and genetics.

Some of these skin risk factors can be changed and some can't. As time and science march on, the list of factors which can be mitigated grows longer and longer. Lifestyle changes are frequently possible if you know what to do and are motivated to make the changes.

Thanks to fairly recent scientific findings, the natural aging process of skin can be slowed and even reversed to some extent. That leaves only the genetic factors of skin aging that we are stuck with. At least for now.

UV protection, in the form of SPF creams, is the first topical step to take for your skin's health. The second is moisturizing. The third step is assisting the fight against free radical damage with antioxidants. Steps four and five are skin care products that help remove old/dead/abnormal skin cells and those that promote normal skin regeneration. Many ingredients shown to accomplish this demolition and renovation are found in the latest generation of face creams.

In addition to antiaging treatments that support physical health and beauty, there are also antiaging skin care creams that address cosmetic concerns like adult acne, uneven skin pigmentation and lines of expression.

While no one dies from these conditions, it is widely accepted that if we look better, we feel better. So though treatments for these skin conditions are termed cosmetic , they frequently have a mental health benefit in that they support a healthy self-image and increased self confidence.

This article is for informational purposes only.
It has been proven that a healthy mind and a healthy body can contribute to a healthy relationship.

When you begin a new relationship with someone, you obviously want it to last as long as possible. Your relationship can last if you build a healthy relationship. However in order to have a strong relationship with someone, YOU must have a healthy mind and body and you must make that commitment to attain that status.

So how do you make a relationship healthy?

First, a healthy mind is when you have good self-esteem and confidence of who you are and what you want out of life. A healthy mind gives you independence so that you rely on yourself to get matters done and therefore not dependent on your significant other.

An unhealthy mind though is when you have little or no self-esteem and no confidence in yourself. The lines of communication become non-existent because you withdraw into your own world and just look to your partner for guidance on your life, which puts a burden on him or her. An unhealthy mind is also when you are still thinking of your old flame, this can be considered as emotionally unstable. This definitely will not help your new relationship and if you are in this situation, you must deal with it first before you lose your current relationship.

Second, a healthy body is when you take care of yourself. This means, you try to keep a healthy weight and you care about your appearances, how you look and feel on a daily basis. If you are a smoker, try to quit, if you drink excessively, try to stop, or any other bad habit or addiction you might have that would cause harm to your body in the long run.

Another healthy body tip is to exercise regularly to keep your heart functioning smoothly and eat a sensible diet, and yes , you can splurge once in awhile as a reward. Facts show that exercise boosts up the moral, and depression can be avoided. Your attitude becomes a positive one that makes your mate want to spend time with you. As you can see healthy mind and healthy body go hand in hand.

In retrospect, an unhealthy body is when you don't care enough about yourself to take care of your body. If you have picked up bad habits or addictions such as smoking, drinking, drugs, (or gambling which is becoming an increasing problem) in time you will let yourself go. If you eat a lot of junk food and your waistline is expanding, this is unhealthy for your body and might bring you down because you will not like how you look like anymore.

Because you don't care about yourself anymore, you don't try to exercise, your attitude is poor, the result is a relationship that collapses because your partner is not willing to spend any time with you anymore. You can not blame your partner because if you can not even love you, why should he?

When your mind and body are in sync with one another, you can acquire a positive attitude, and this keeps the line of communication going with your significant other. When your mind is 'clear' it allows you to listen to your partner and helps you support them whenever they require it (and vice versa). You are more likely to do what it takes to maintain that relationship in tip-top shape so that it continues to flourish.

Work hard on avoiding those pitfalls and take a stand on your mental and physical health. You are human, so setbacks are sure to happen, but do not let them destroy your state of mind or affect your health for the long run. Remember, if you are not happy or healthy how can you have a healthy relationship! <bio>To discover more about relationship commitment or any other life commitment, visit website http://www.life-commitment.com </bio>
