While the majority of people on the roads have a moan and groan about the cost of our car insurance, we would never, ever consider getting behind the wheel without being insured. If you were to get into an accident and you weren't insured where would you get the cash from to pay out for not only the repairs to your car but also the other car? On top of this you would face heavy fines and prosecution for driving while not having insurance, we might moan and groan but we do have the sense to know how valuable car insurance is and do the right thing.

However statistics have shown that an alarming amount of drivers are in fact out there and driving around on the roads without having taken out car insurance. It is also a fact that it is the insured driver that is nine times more likely to be involved in an accident than those who do have car insurance.

It is believed this is due to the fact that very often the uninsured driver is usually the one that is driving around in a car that is not roadworthy.

When it comes to culprits such as these is it also three times more likely that they have had previous convictions of careless driving and 10 ten times more likely that they drive while under the influence of alcohol and have been previously convicted of a drink driving offence.

With this is mind police are clamping down on the uninsured driver and while this is an excellent thing, unfortunately it is also the insured motorist that is also being cracked down on too. The reason behind this is the way that the system works, the system currently used to pick up on and crack down on the uninsured motorist is by checking records with the Motor Insurance Bureau.

This system shows up the cars that don't currently have insurance, however if you have always had car insurance and are currently in the process of renewing it then it could take a couple of days for this to show up on the records. If the records are checked during this time then you could show up as not having car insurance and be clamped down on. While the majority of people can of course prove they do have insurance it is a huge inconvenience.

In order to stop this happening you should arrange to change your car insurance over as quickly as possible and carry documentation to prove you are doing so and when it comes to buying your insurance buy online and get several quotes for the best and cheapest deal possible. <bio>David Thomson is Chief Executive of BestDealInsurance (http://www.bestdealinsurance.co.uk) an independent specialist broker dedicated to providing their clients with the best deal on their home, motor and life insurance. </bio>

Uninsured drivers are ten times more likely to drink and drive and three times more likely to be convicted of driving without due care and attention. They also cause one accident every six months. In fact one in twenty motorists regularly drive without insurance. It's therefore not perhaps surprising that, one in ten of all motorists have been involved in accidents with uninsured drivers. The question is what to do if you're involved in an accident with one?

At the time of the accident you're unlikely to realise that the other driver is uninsured so you'll have to react in the normal way. Take a note of the other car's make, model and registration number. Also note the other driver's name and address -- but whether he'll give you his correct details is perhaps unlikely! Nevertheless, always record what the other driver says. Unless you have this information you'll have no leg to stand on when it comes to getting some of your money back.

Also take notes about the damage to the other car and the accident scene. Remember to note road markings, road signs, light and weather conditions and whether the other car had its lights on -- in fact as much detail as possible. Then if you're lucky enough to have an independent witness get their full contact details. And if you happen to have a camera in the car, take lots of pictures - and try and get one with the other driver clearly in the picture. The police might like that one!

If your policy is comprehensive, your insurer pay for your car to be repaired but you could lose your no claims discount unless you've paid to protect it. But then there's the issue of your excess payment -- that's the first part of the repair cost you have to pay for. You'll have to pay that unless you're lucky enough to have a policy that waives the excess payment if you're hit by an uninsured driver.

For those of you with third party car insurance, you're in for a hard time. Your insurer won't pay for your repairs and, as the other driver is uninsured, you're not going to get any money off him unless you can trace him and succeed in a court action. Even then there's no guarantee that he'll pay up! Your only guaranteed solution is to make a compensation claim to the Motor Insurers' Bureau - but you'll still have to pay the first £300 of the claim.

The Motor Insurers' Bureau insists that have the other drivers' car registration number and you must first report the accident to the police. Always ask the police for a copy of their accident report as the Bureau's likely to ask to see it. The Bureau's telephone number is 01908 671681 or you can e-mail them on enquiries@mib.org.uk.

At the moment The UK' Law is being amended to crackdown on uninsured drivers. Not before time. Anyone keeping, not just driving, an uninsured vehicle now faces a fixed £100 fine and can also have their car seized and crushed. Currently the average fine for driving without insurance is just £170 and that's hardly a punishment when car insurance costs many times more. Losing the car plus a fine of £100 is much more realistic. Let's hope that the courts fully implement the crushing sanction!

A police spokesman said recently, " Uninsured drivers are often guilty of many other driving related offences, such as having no driving licence or MOT certificate. We're doing everything in our power to get these dangerous and illegal drivers off our roads".

We say, go to it blues and two's! <bio>Brokers Online contains a huge amount of information on car insurance ( http://www.life-assurance-bureau.co.uk/car-insurance/ ), life assurance ( http://www.life-assurance-bureau.co.uk/life-insurance/ )and pet insurance ( http://www.life-assurance-bureau.co.uk/pet-insurance/ ) </bio>

The government has released figures that show there are more than 2m vehicles on the road in Britain without insurance, that is 1 in 15 vehicles being illegally driven, uninsured on British roads.

The immediate impact this is having is cost, each year uninsured drivers are costing =A3500m, it is the insured motorists who are shelling out to cover this cost, and are paying =A3350m extra for insurance premiums.

The Association of British Insurers (ABI) has highlighted the risks of uninsured drivers who are less likely to stop after an accident, 10 times more likely to have convictions for drink driving and 6 times more likely to be driving an un-roadworthy vehicle.

As well as increasing the prices for car and van insurance for law abiding motorists, uninsured drivers also cause problems for insured drivers they are in accidents or collisions with. If you are involved in an accident with an uninsured driver there could be a drawn out battle to reclaim what you are owed.

Fully comprehensive insurance will cover you for any repairs needed for your car, however, unless you have insured your no claims discount you could lose this and any medical or legal costs will not necessarily be covered by your insurer.

The government is trying to tackle the problem of uninsured drivers on the road through technology such as automatic number plate recognition and heightened police powers, enabling them to seize vehicles from the uninsured.

The Motor Insurer's Bureau (MIB) claims that the group most likely to flout insurance laws are young males. Despite the government's efforts to raise awareness of the importance of up to date insurance many people are oblivious to the risks, and more importantly, the consequences of driving illegally without insurance.

Anyone who is caught driving a vehicle without the correct insurance is not only breaking the law, but it likely to receive penalty points on their license and a hefty fine. Penalty points can affect both your eligibility to drive for your employer and increase your insurance premium significantly.

Drivers who are left with unpaid costs after a collision with an uninsured driver can claim compensation from the MIB. This is a fund which is paid for by the insurance companies who are charged a levy each year, indirectly the money comes out of the pockets of the general public who are charged more in premiums to cover this. The driver is expected to have contacted the other driver to check if they are insured, and to have reported the incident to the police.

The MIB handles 36,000 cases every year and has issued guidelines which drivers should follow if an accident should occur. Briefly summarised the plan of action should be; to contact the police, take the name and details of the other driver, especially the car's registration number, never to admit fault for the accident and try to remain calm, try to photograph the driver and/or vehicle and get details of any witnesses to the incident.

It is common for people to panic or be shaken after an accident, but this is a time when a level head is required. If you suspect that any of the details the other driver has given you are incorrect, contact the DVLA or MIB for verification.

MIB's figures show that 15% of drivers admitted to driving without insurance between 17 and 21, and a staggering 48% were under 30. These people have resulted in motorists having to pay, on average, an extra =A330 for insurance premiums. The fact is, the likelihood of an uninsured driver causing or being involved in a collision are eight times greater than an insured driver. Just make sure they don't cost you any more than they already do. <bio>Jemma Tipping - http://www.onlyfinance.com </bio>

California Law requires all motor vehicle owners to have insurance which provides Bodily Injury Coverage and Property Damage Coverage.

In the State of California the required minimum coverage for bodily injury is $15,000 per person injured in any one accident and $30,000 for all persons injured in any one accident.

The required minimum coverage for property damage is $5,000 for injury to or the destruction of property of others in any one accident.

Optional insurance may include Uninsured Motorist Coverage. If the policy holder makes this choice, the actual coverage purchased must be at least the amount of the required Bodily Injury Coverage. If the policy holder purchases more than the required amount of Bodily Injury Coverage, Underinsured Motorist Coverage may then be purchased in a lesser amount. The State of California does not require insurance companies to provide Uninsured Motorist Coverage in any amount greater than $30,000 per personal injury in any one accident and $60,000 for all persons involved in any one accident.

As well, if Uninsured Motorist Coverage is purchased, then the policy must also include Underinsured Motorist Coverage. California requires insurance companies to offer for purchase Underinsured Motorist Coverage in an amount equal to that purchased for Uninsured Motorist Coverage. Insurers may, however, offer a greater amount of Underinsured Motorist Coverage than the Uninsured Motorist Coverage actually purchased by the policy holder.

California requires liability limits of 12/30/5 which represent $20,000 for bodily injury coverage per person and $30,000 for bodily injury coverage per accident which will pay for medical bills and lost wages. The last number of 5 represents $5,000 for property damage coverage per accident which will pay for repairs and/or replacement of objects damaged or destroyed other than the policy holder's own vehicle.

Personal Injury Protection (PIP) and No-Fault Coverage are not required by the state.

Adding Collision Coverage as well as Comprehensive Coverage to an insurance policy is optional as well in California. <bio>http://www.myquoteguide.com/Car-Tips.shtml http://www.ezquoteguide.com/home http://www.ezquoteguide.com/car </bio>

Are you one of the one in twenty motorists who regularly drive without insurance? You'd better watch out - your car could be heading for the crusher and shipped off to the world's biggest scrap smelter in China!

New powers now allow the police to seize, impound and crush any car found on the road without insurance. A pilot scheme was introduced in Durham last spring. Since then, police have impounded more than 1,200 cars. Of those around half have been crushed into cubes and packed off for smelting.

Operation Takeaway as the pilot scheme was known, has been such a big success, that police forces throughout the UK are enthusiastically polishing up their tow trucks. The scheme is now supported by a new national police database that's supported by the insurance industry. It enables the police to check the insurance status of every car in the UK whilst they're sitting in their patrol car.

Now if you're caught red handed without car insurance you're forced to hand your keys to the police at the roadside. There are no exceptions - this applies to everyone; it doesn't matter if it's just a forgetful mistake or conscious driving without insurance.

Then you'll have to get your skates on! You've just 14 days to produce a valid insurance policy to the police and collect your car. And other costs mount up. Before you can collect your car, you have to pay the cost of kerbside recovery (around £105) and the cost of secure storage - and that could easily amount to £15 a day. So, if you leave collecting your car to the 14th day, you could be in for a bill for £315.

And if you don't reclaim your car, off to the crusher it goes!

During the pilot scheme, the cost of crushing the cars was partly funded by Direct Line. They have estimated that Operation Takeaway prevented up to 2,000 accidents. And many of the cars impounded by the police were found to be un-roadworthy.

A police spokesman said, " Uninsured drivers are often guilty of many other offences. Such as having neither driving licence nor MOT certificate. We are doing everything in our power to get these dangerous and illegal drivers off our roads".

Indeed, uninsured drivers are much greater problem than many of us would expect. The Department of Transport recently reported that 1 in 20 motorists regularly drive without insurance. Furthermore, research from the Association of British Insurers discovered that uninsured drivers are amongst the most dangerous on the roads. On average they cause one accident every six months and are three times more likely to be convicted of driving without due care and attention.

And who pays for those uninsured accidents? We do! The average car insurance premium is loaded by £30 to cover the cost of damage caused by uninsured motorists. Across the UK that adds up to an extra £500 million paid out each year by the law-abiding motorists!

But that's not the end of our financial pain. If an uninsured vehicle collides into your car, it's still recorded as a "fault claim" on your policy. This means you'll have to pay the excess when your car is repaired and unless you've got Claims Protection on your policy, your no-claims bonus will take a knocking. Over a two-year period, the reduction in your no claims bonus could easily cost £275 in higher premiums.

The move to take cars off the road and crush them has been warmly welcomed by the Association of British Insurers. The ABI has long criticised the leniency of punishment handed out by the courts to uninsured motorists but they still want tougher penalties. Offenders are typically fined just £150 to £200 - with time to pay - and this is much less than the average car insurance premium. Surely this cannot be true justice!
Anyone who drives a car -- the overwhelming majority of people, in other words -- knows that it is a legal requirement to have car insurance. But how many of those millions of motorists really understand all the ins and outs of the insurance they have to buy?

Most, for example, will know that probably the most basic distinction is between a so-called "fully comprehensive" insurance and the more limited cover that is restricted to "third party, fire and theft". But the barest minimum legal cover is represented by something that extends to third party liability only -- that is to say, it covers only those claims against the insured driver of the vehicle for loss or damage caused to other people or their property. Third party insurance, therefore, offers no protection at all for any loss or damage (whether by accident, fire or theft) to the insured vehicle. This is what makes comprehensive cover the car insurance of choice for anyone who owns and drives a vehicle of any value -- since the greatest part of most repair bills, even when the damage is caused as a result of the driver's own fault, will be covered by the terms of the comprehensive cover.

One fascinating area of motor insurance which is often overlooked by many drivers is the subject of uninsured losses. However extensive or comprehensive the level of insurance, there will be many circumstances in which the insured driver can suffer an uninsured loss. Even though the accident might not have been his or her fault, for example, the insured will still have to pay whatever excess is applied to the policy. If a replacement car needs to be hired as the result of an accident caused by another motorist, the insured could again be out of pocket. Still more seriously, if the motorist responsible for an accident was driving illegally and has no insurance, the innocent parties to the accident have no recourse to the culprit's insurers. Then there is the whole question of seeking damages for injuries sustained in an accident caused by another driver. All of these are examples of uninsured losses.

Fortunately, for the driver who suffers these kinds of losses, however, recourse is available through something called Uninsured Loss Recovery. Just as the name suggests, this is a service that attempts to recover uninsured losses on behalf of the person who has suffered them. Recovery might be pursued by an independent uninsured loss recovery agency or, if the insured has taken out legal expenses protection (frequently included in the better comprehensive policies), then by his or her own insurers.

Another area of car insurance which is often misunderstood by many drivers relates to the status of their no claims discount. Most will know that insurers "reward" customers who make no claims on their car insurance by offering a discount on the following year's premium. Depending on the period for which the policy holder has been "claims free", these discounts can range from between 30% to 65%, so they clearly make quite a difference to the annual insurance costs and are well worth having. What fewer people realise, perhaps, is that it is possible to "protect" such discounts that have been accumulated over the years, so that they are not lost and the insured is not knocked right back to square one if a claim needs to be made. A protected no claims discount is optional car insurance cover that allows the policy holder to make a claim without it affecting the discount when it comes up for renewal. Different insurers will apply different rules to the number of such claims that can be made, as well as to the period during which they can be made, without affecting the no claims discount.<bio>David Thomson is Chief Executive of BestDealInsurance an independent specialist broker dedicated to giving consumers the best insurance deal.
Statistics prove that motorcyclists are 45 times more at risk to being killed than someone driving a car. If riding your motorcycle is your passion and first love then why take the chance of losing it all, by riding uninsured? Riding uninsured exposes you to an unfortunate possibility that can put a serious hole in your finances. If you are responsible for a motorcycle accident and you did not purchase bike insurance you would be liable to pay for any medical bills and repair costs for the third party. This would also include paying for any of your own medical expenses and damages to your motor bike. Such an unfortunate situation could lead you into severe debt or even bankruptcy. It is your responsibility to protect your financial stance and your motor bike by obtaining a bike insurance policy. It is illegal to drive a motor bike in the UK, without obtaining a motor bike insurance policy beforehand.

Motorcycle riders are more likely to gain grave injuries because they are relatively exposed to external conditions such as rain, wind and snow. There are no substantial safety features in a motorcycle such as seatbelts or airbags which all cars are equipped with. Even poor road conditions at times can be a threat to a motorcycle rider. A car would be fairly easier to gain control in, if it spins out of control but a motorcycle with just 2 wheels, is more likely to skid and have a critical accident. The majority of traffic is made up of car drivers and certain angles are blind spots which prevent them from seeing motorcycles. This sort of predicament can cause an accident or even worse could turn into a hit and run case. This happens often as motorcycle riders are usually seriously injured when a car and motorcycle accident takes place. Motorcycle riders can purchase personal accident policies which cover their medical and damage costs if a hit and run occurs.

Did you know it takes just 20 seconds to steal a motorcycle? All a robber has to do is lift it into a van and you'll probably never see your motor bike again. I don't think you'd be very happy if one day you found that your motor bike was gone and it hadn't been insured. A motor bike insurance policy can cover the cost of replacing your bike if you have purchased a theft plan as a part of your motor bike insurance policy. There are other aspects also covered with insurance policies such as fire, third party coverage, death or injury coverage, and medical expenses. It all depends on the type of insurance policy you decide to purchase. It is very essential to find out what your insurance policy will cover and how to file a claim before signing an insurance policy contract. If you wait for an accident to find out about your policy that would be a bad time to realise you're not covered under certain situations that have taken place. Obtaining quotes from different insurance companies will maximise your awareness of the current insurance market.

Make a wise decision and purchase a bike insurance policy before heading out on the road. It's not worth getting stuck with an uninsured motorcycle and the burden of mounting debt weighing on your shoulders from an unfortunate accident. Avoid the risks of riding uninsured and ride your bike safely, both physically and financially.<bio>Bikesure is an established insurance company that provides a number of different motorcycle and motor bike insurance policies designed to cover your financial needs in the event of an accident.</bio>

The level of auto insurance that someone might need depends on the financial circumstances of the individual concerned and the cost of the car involved. Take for example someone who has a brand new $50,000 motor, it would be sheer folly to do anything other than take out one of the best auto insurance policies available and the cost of the auto insurance is likely to be insignificant when considering the overall annual cost of the car.

However, if you have a car that is nearing the end of its life, have a low cost car and previous claims or are a new driver then the cost of the auto insurance versus the benefits you might receive need to be given greater consideration. Comprehensive auto insurance premiums are likely to be disproportionately high for older vehicles, new drivers with low cost autos or drivers with accident history.

Whatever your circumstances you are legally obliged to take out a basic level of auto insurance that will cover you against third party claims and given the level of damages awarded seem to be increasing out of control then my advice would be to get the best possible third party liability auto insurance cover that you can afford.

The legal requirements for auto insurance does vary from state to state so you'll need to clarify the level of cover you require when taking out auto insurance but only insuring to the legal minimum isn't necessarily the best choice to make.

If you have a lot of money sunk into your car or your auto is leased then you really should take out comprehensive and collision auto insurance to cover you for things such as fire, theft, acts of god or collisions that are your own fault.

If you live in an area where cars are regularly vandalised you might want to consider comprehensive auto insurance when perhaps you wouldn't have otherwise done so. The cost of your auto insurance will generally be higher if you live in such an area but that is something you have to weigh up against the cost of repair.

Personal Injury Protection is something that everyone should consider as this element of your auto insurance will cover medical costs associated.

Despite legal requirements some people still persist in driving around without auto insurance leaving the others with a need to insure against the uninsured motorist. Uninsured auto insurance will cover you for damages in the event of an accident with an uninsured motorist. Again, insurance that everyone should give serious consideration to given an auto accident could leave you unable to work or your family without any means to earn.

If you want a more comprehensive auto insurance policy but want to limit the cost then you could look at opting for a higher level of deductibles. Deductibles are the amount you would have to pay before you could make a claim against your auto insurance policy and generally, the higher level you agree to the lower your auto insurance premiums. <bio>For more on insurance visit http://www.24-7-insurance.com </bio>

An excess payment is the fixed contribution you must pay each time your car is repaired through your car insurance policy. Normally the payment is made directly to the accident repair garage when you collect the car. If your car is declared to be a write off, your insurance company will deduct the excess agreed on the policy from the settlement payment it makes to you.

If the accident was the other drivers fault, and this is accepted by the third party's insurer, you'll be able to reclaim your excess payment from the other person's insurance company. But what if the other driver is uninsured?

All motorists know that it's a legal requirement (under Section 143 of the 1988 Road Traffic Act) to have insurance for any damage they cause to third parties. But still many drive without insurance. An estimate of the incidence of uninsured driving in the UK is hard to come by and, for the obvious reasons, those drivers involved in breaking the law have every reason to keep quiet about it.

Calculations from the Department of Transport suggest that in the UK around 5% of vehicles are being driven without valid insurance. This group of people not only impose costs on honest motorists in the form of higher premiums, but their presence on our roads also represents a serious risk to other road users. Consequently, uninsured driving is increasingly being regarded as a major social problem.

But driving without insurance is not a victimless crime. If you have an accident with an uninsured driver and the accident wasn't your fault, the repair costs will be paid for by the Motor Insurers' Bureau that's funded in its entirety by the industry, or by your insurer. Therefore, if you're involved in an accident caused by an uninsured driver you'll eventually get you car repaired but you'll still have to pay the excess and there'll be no one to reclaim your excess from.

What is a Compulsory Excess?

A compulsory excess is the minimum excess payment your insurer will accept on your insurance policy. Minimum excesses do vary according to your personal details and driving record and by insurance company. Today the average excess is around £100, but younger drivers could be faced with excesses of up to £500 - whilst more mature, experienced drivers with a good driving record, could be offered an excess of just £50.

So what is a Voluntary Excess? In order to reduce your insurance premium, you may offer to pay a higher excess than the compulsory excess demanded by your insurance company. Your voluntary excess is the extra amount over and above the compulsory excess that you agree to pay in the event of a claim on the policy. As a bigger excess reduces the financial risk carried by your insurer, your insurer I able to offer you a significantly lower premium.

The garage has repaired my car but it won't release the car too me until I pay the policy excess to them. Is this right?

Yes, that is normal practice. But make sure you inspect the car when you collect it. Satisfy yourself that the repair is perfect. Then make sure you keep their receipt for your excess payment as you will need this if you're reclaiming against a third party's insurance. And just in case there's a dispute, it's a good idea to make sure the repair garage gives you a repair schedule. This will list all the repairs that were made to you car. This new database, quickly and easily, identifies these lawbreakers.

TexasSure (the database) now matches registered Texas passenger vehicles records with the personal auto insurance policy data on-file with over 200 insurance companies in Texas.

It is hoped that the implementation of this technology will assist law enforcement officers to verify, immediately, whether or not a driver has auto insurance. It is currently estimated that the number of uninsured vehicles in the State of Texas is approximately 4 million!

By Texas law, a motor vehicle cannot be operated unless the motorist has financial responsibility established for the vehicle, primarily, auto insurance.

The current law requires that drivers have coverage of at least $25,000 per injured person; $50,000 per injured person involved in an accident, and property damage of $25,000.

It is estimated that somewhere between 15-20% of Texans do not have auto insurance. That is one in five drivers!

For driving without liability insurance, the first conviction could result in a fine between $175 and $350. Subsequent convictions could include fines of $350 to $1,000, suspension of driver's license and/or impoundment of your vehicle.

According to the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), at least 30 other states have implemented insurance verification programs, successfully reducing the number of uninsured motorists.

The goal in Texas is to significantly relieve the aggravation that responsible drivers endure from the expense caused by uninsured motorists. And, to encourage Texan drivers to keep their insurance information up-to-date; VIN numbers matching the information on their insurance cards.

The Texas Financial Responsibility Verification Program is a joint project developed by the Texas Department of Public Safety (TDPS), the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) and the Texas Department of Insurance (TDI), by implementing the program they anticipate lowering the uninsured motorist rate in Texas.

Beware! More than a dozen cities in Texas have passed ordinances that allow law enforcement officers to have a vehicle towed and impounded if the driver cannot show proof of insurance.

Those drivers who legitimately hold auto insurance policies need not be concerned as long as they continue to carry current proof of insurance cards, as required by law. Policy information will be sent each week to the TexasSure vendor where it will be matched to TxDOT's vehicle registration records.

So... if the thought of fooling a law enforcement officer crosses your mind, think again! AHCCS is Arizona's Medicaid program.

There are several low cost plans available for families, children and pregnant women. Below are a few of the many plans offered through AHCCS.

=95AHCCCS Care Program: This program provides medical coverage for individuals and families. Coverage includes doctor visits, hospitalization, prescription, behavioral health and lab work. There is, however a monthly income limitation of $851 per month for an individual and $1,144 per month for a couple.

=95KidsCare: Provides medical coverage for uninsured children who have been uninsured for at least 3 months. This coverage is available if the child's family meets certain stringent income requirements. For example a family of four's monthly income may not exceed $3,442 per month or $41,304 annually. The monthly premium for one child will range between $10 and $25. For two or more children the cost is $15 to $35.

=95Baby Arizona: Low-income uninsured pregnant women may obtain health insurance through the Baby Arizona health plan. There is a 20 day processing lag time, but many applicants may be able to receive care prior to the completion of the 20 day processing time.

In addition to low cost family health plans, Arizona also offers health plans to assist the self employed and small business owner:

=95Health Care Group: For the self-employed or small business employer with 50 employees or less, Health Care Group offers HMO, PPO, PPOS, Vision Care and Dental coverages.
Auto insurance is, without a doubt, one of the most important forms of insurance available today. In fact, it is so important that our government has made it required by law. These laws, however, are rather minimal, typically requiring minimal liability insurance coverage. This is usually enough to protect others from damage to their property, and for possible medical needs. But, in many cases, a complete comprehensive auto insurance policy is a smart choice.

Liability insurance is commonly purchased by many, just to meet the minimal requirements. Liability insurance is essentially insurance that protects others if you're involved in an accident and are at fault. Liability insurance does not provide any type of damage protection that you may do to your own car. For those of you who drive beat up automobiles, you may not be too concerned about any damage you do to your own car, so liability insurance is often the common choice. It is important to understand that what is required by law in the form of liability insurance is very minimal. For example, you may have coverage that only ensures you up to a certain point. This certain point can be reached rather quickly; some are as low as $10,000. With $50,000 vehicles, not at all the common these days, it's real easy to reach the stated $10,000 limit. After you surpass that limit, it's all on you, so to speak. If you do $20,000 worth of damage to someone's car, you'll be liable for the remaining $10,000. So, consider your coverage wisely.

The next step up in simple liability insurance coverage is your standard full coverage auto insurance. Full coverage auto insurance is not always that much more expensive than basic liability insurance. It really depends on the specifics involved in your coverage. Things like your deductible, amounts of coverage, and the city in which you live all effect your auto insurance premiums. Shopping for competitive rates can save you substantially. You'll have to determine how much coverage is best for you and your family.

The importance of having adequate auto insurance coverage cannot be stated enough. Regardless of your advanced driving skills you always have to worry about other drivers. Even Michael Schumacher has to deal with the inadequacies of other drivers. A large number of these drivers are driving illegally and irresponsibly, without proper auto insurance. No matter how well you think you can trust yourself, these drivers' habits and abilities are out of your control. One way to protect yourself from this is to make sure that your auto insurance includes for uninsured motorist protection. Be sure it does, many full coverage auto insurance policies don't. Uninsured motorist coverage protects you, if you're in an accident with an uninsured driver. Moreover, it protects you, even against drivers that may not have sufficient auto insurance coverage. A good example of this would be the $10,000 example stated above. So, if you drive a nice car, make sure that you have the proper insurance for the uninsured.

The importance of having adequate auto insurance cannot be stated enough. Liability insurance provides a minimum that meets rather low requirements by our government, but it's rarely enough. If you're looking to save on auto insurance you'll find that the Internet is an excellent tool. You can get a quote from multiple insurers, which well provide you with competitive quotes. So if you're worried about cost, this will really help you save. Though it's important to note that all insurance companies are not created equal. Go with a quality insurance company that will be there for you when you need them.<bio>If you would like more information on how to save on Auto Insurance you may visit the site.
The phrase "car insurance" implies that what you are insuring is your car, but the realities of car insurance are a bit more complex than that. When you purchase a comprehensive auto insurance policy, you are protecting yourself from the costs of damaging your car, but that is just one element that makes up full automobile insurance coverage. You need insurance that can cover the legal fees that may result during a lawsuit if you take another driver to court after an accident. You need insurance that can cover the cost of prescription painkillers that you may need to buy for yourself if an uninsured driver runs a light and hits your car. These and hundreds of other possible costs that have nothing to do with your actual vehicle can be covered by so-called automobile insurance. The act of buying an insurance policy for your car is an act of making sure that it is financially safe both for yourself and for anyone else who you may encounter when you are behind the wheel.

You need to protect yourself from the potential financial hardship of paying for the medical bills of anyone who you injure in an accident, and the costs of repairing any public or private property that you may damage. In addition, before you can hit the road in most states you need enough insurance that you will be able to pay for your own medical care if you are injured in a crash caused by an uninsured motorist. So far, none of these important elements of a standard car insurance policy even mention the automobile itself!

A good collision or comprehensive insurance policy will cover at least some percentage of the cost of repair to your vehicle after physical damage. However, since not every state requires that you have this kind of insurance, don't assume that physical damage is covered by your policy unless your agent tells you so directly. Physical damage coverage is just one element of a good automobile insurance policy, and many people consider it optional rather than necessary. The actual cost of insuring the physical form of your vehicle is almost always dwarfed by the costs of the other kinds of insurance that you need in order to drive safely, responsibly, and legally.

Other options that you will be likely to encounter when choosing a car insurance policy include things like medical payments coverage, which will help you meet the costs of medical attention after an accident. Of course, a traditional auto insurance policy includes a certain level of protection against the costs of treatment, but things like co-pays are not covered by body injury liability coverage or uninsured motorist coverage. This leads many people to take out additional insurance so that they know that they will not have a larger than necessary financial burden if a hospital stay is necessary for them, for a passenger, or for somebody else harmed during a crash. <bio>Gray Rollins is a featured writer for QuickOnlineInsurance.
As we get older many things changes. Body and mind is not as it use to be when we where younger. Lets take a look on what really happens to you.

Memory Decline

The ability to encode new memories of events or facts and working memory show decline in both cross-sectional and longitudinal studies. These deficits might be related to impairments seen in the ability to refresh recently processed information. Even when equated in memory for a particular item or fact, older adults have a tendency to be worse at remembering the source of their information, a deficit that may be related to declines in the capability to bind information together in memory.

Domains of Memory

In compare, implicit or procedural memory normally shows no decline with age and semantic knowledge, such as vocabulary, in fact improves somewhat with age. Further more, the enhancement seen in memory for emotional events is also maintained with age.

Qualitative Changes in Memory Processing

The majority of research on memory and aging has focused on how older adults perform less well at a particular memory task. But recently researchers have also discovered that just saying that older adults are doing the same thing, only less of it, is not always correct. In some cases older adults seem to be using a different strategy than younger adults. For instance, brain imaging studies have revealed that older adults are more likely to use both hemispheres when carrying out memory tasks than younger adults. And further, older adults often show a positive effect when remembering information that seems to be a result of the enlarged focus on regulating emotion seen with age.

So being older does not mean you can not improve your memory. There is a ton of methods out there to pick from. Let's find one that will work for you! And remember, and older mind has the same ability as the younger mind, it only slows a bit down. <bio>Find much more information about how to Improve your Memory http://www.improve-memory-e.com on this website.
Unless your automobile is being financed the only type of automobile insurance you are required to have in Iowa is liability coverage. Liability insurance pays for medical expenses (bodily harm) and for property damage (generally the repair of a vehicle) for the other party if you are involved in an accident and it is determined that you are at fault.

In Iowa the minimum amount of liability insurance that you need to buy is what is typically referred to as 20/40/15 liability policy. In other words your liability insurance will cover any one individual for $20,000 in bodily injury with a total of $40,000 coverage for any one accident, plus your insurance will pay $15,000 for property damage.

Given current prices for hospital stays and medical treatment and the cost of replacing even a moderately-priced new car, these minimum amounts for liability coverage could be considered woefully and dangerously out of date.

In order to have full coverage automobile insurance you need a great deal more than simply liability coverage. In addition to liability insurance you will also need medical payments coverage, collision, comprehensive, and uninsured motorist (UM) coverage.

Medical payments insurance pays your medical bills and the medical bills of anyone in your vehicle if you are involved in an accident and you are deemed to be at fault. Given the current cost of hospital stays and medical treatment you should consider getting the maximum amount of medical payments coverage that you can afford.

Collision insurance pays for the repair or replacement of your vehicle after an accident with another vehicle or with a stationary object, such as a tree or a guard rail. The amount of this insurance that you need depends on the age, condition and the Kelly Blue Book value of your vehicle.

Comprehensive insurance pays for the repair or replacement of your vehicle if it is damaged for causes other than an accident, such as vandalism, weather-related damage, or theft. In addition you need comprehensive insurance to repair or replace your car if you strike an animal, such as a deer. You also need to specifically ask if windshield damage is included in your comprehensive coverage; many policies now require that you buy windshield insurance separately.

Uninsured motorist (UM) coverage protects you and the occupants of your car if you are in an accident with an uninsured motorist and the uninsured driver is deemed to be at fault.

Again, you must make a determination of how much coverage you need and can afford for each type of automobile insurance that you choose.

There are actually several things you can do that will help to keep the cost of your full coverage automobile insurance under some sort of control, but one of the main ways of moderating the cost of your insurance is through the size of the deductible that you decide upon.

The higher your deductible the lower your monthly premium payment will be. However, choose the size of your deductible wisely, based on your financial situation, since you will be required to come up with your deductible in cash before your insurance company will pay off on any claim.

So now that you know what to look for in a full coverage automobile insurance quote in Iowa it's time for you to get online and start looking for the best price that you can get for your policy.

Be certain to make your price comparisons on at least 3 different websites since no one website compares all of the different insurance companies operating in Iowa. Once you have done that then you can sleep easy at night knowing that you have found the very best full coverage automobile insurance in Iowa at the lowest price possible. <bio>My recommended sites here: http://www.ezquoteguide.com/car-iowa.shtml Low Cost Automobile Insurance Quotes Quote in Iowa http://www.saveitmonthly.com More Low Cost Insurance Quotes Online </bio>

It does not matter if you are the driver, passenger, or a pedestrian. If you were involved in a road accident, you should consult with a solicitor if you want to claim compensation for your injuries =96 from whiplash, broken limbs, back, neck injuries to the far more serious head injuries and other serious injuries.

At the onset, if you were in a hit and run situation, where the driver ran off after hitting you and breaking your bones, you need to make a claim first with the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) for an untraced driver claim. The MIB also has a compensation program for people who were injured by uninsured motorists. In the case of an uninsured driver, you need to file an uninsured driver claim.

In general, if you signed for the legal insurance option on your car's insurance coverage, then you would already have a solicitor when you want to file a claim. Legal insurance options generally cost from between GBP 40 to GBP 90. If you did not opt for legal insurance, do not fret however. Most law firms would be happy to represent you without asking for any legal fees upfront. Remember though to ask about the fees both in a "won" and "lost" situation. Although many law firms brandish "no-win, no-fee" slogans, they tend to forget to mention the fees they charge if you do win a claim. Remember also that there are some that guarantee 100% of your compensation, but do not like to represent the riskier claims.

If you meet a traffic accident, make sure to receive professional medical attention so that your injuries are documented and therefore can be proven. In the United Kingdom, claims for car accidents often fail because the claimant did not rush to a hospital to discuss any pain arising from his injury. Medical notes are the single most important documentation for an accident claim. Apart from proving that you indeed met an accident, the notes will also go to establishing what amount should be awarded to the claimant. Thankfully, in many cases, ambulances are always called on to the scene of accidents, especially when the police are already involved.

In recent years, the number of people claiming for injuries arising from road traffic accidents has increased dramatically. Many are led to believe that the increase in compensation payouts for accidents is causing the sharp rise in insurance premiums. However, this is not entirely correct since the average payouts by insurance companies to claimants are just between GBP 1,500 to GBP 2,000. The amounts cannot even pay for the total of actual damages to the cars involved in the car crashes.

Under the law, all types of vehicles must be insured. Anyone is entitled to make a claim provided they were proven to have been involved in a vehicular accident, and that someone else is responsible for it. You can make a personal injury claim even if the driver that caused the accident is not insured or if the driver conveniently ran away after the accident. <bio>Hunter writes articles for Start2Claim and Real Compensation No Win No Fee Personal Injury Compensation Solicitors http://www.start2claim.com/ http://www.realcompensation.co.uk/ </bio>

What do all three of my clients have in common?

All three motorcyclists suffered a serious leg fracture requiring surgery; All three were injured because someone else was 100% at fault; In each of the accidents, the person who was at fault had minimum insurance liability limits of $25,000; All three motorcyclists had minimum insurance liability limits of $25,000 without underinsured insurance coverage; All three motorcyclists could only collect $25,000; All three motorcyclists could have been compensated for their injury in an amount of several hundred thousand dollars.

I have several tools available in my law practice to uncover all available insurance coverage and assets to compensate my clients. For instance, I use a service which can find additional insurance policies and excess insurance policies ot blanket liability insurance. I also use an investigative database which can locate real estate and other assets anywhere in the country which are owned by the person responsible for causing the accident.

When the person who causes the accident has an insurance policy with $100,000 or $300,000 liability limits, there is a good chance that I can find a $1,000,000 blanket liability policy, if one exists, even though the insurance companies are not always forthcoming about blanket liability policies. The problem is that people who have a minimum liability insurance policy almost always have little or no assets and no other insurance policies.

If you are seriously hurt in a motorcycle accident, you will probably be out of work for several months and may not even be able to continue your present line of work. You may not be able to pay your rent or mortgage payments and other bills. Hospital and medical bills for injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident often range from $35,000-$50,000 and more. It can be financially devastating if you are single. If you are married and have a child, your entire family will suffer.

Motorcyclists know that they are constantly in danger of drivers who don't pay attention to motorcycles. If you ride a motorcycle, you must protect yourself from financial ruin. Fortunately, you can adequately protect yourself from someone else's negligence for very little money by purchasing an insurance policy with underinsured and uninsured coverage of $300,000.

An online quote with nationally known insurance company for a 35-year-old male with a 2001 Harley XL 1200S Sportster showed that the cost to increase insurance coverage from $25,000 to a $300,000 liability policy with $300,000 uninsured/underinsured coverage is only $31.91 per month extra (depending upon your geographic location, personal history, and other conditions, your extra premium could be less or more).

This means that for an extra $383 per year, my three clients could have obtained an additional $275,000.

You may think this will never happen to you, but unfortunately I see it all the time.
ADHD is Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. It is a mental disorder that approximately three to seven percent of children have. Those that are affected by this disorder are characterized by constant behavior, lots of activity and often thought of as being disobedient. Yet, it is not that the individual is being bad but more so that they cannot control their mental range. Instead of being able to concentrate on one element, they are likely to be thinking about several thus making it quite difficult to concentrate.

This disorder is not just found in children. Many adults are diagnosed with it as well. In adults, it is classified as AADD, or Adult Attention Deficit Disorder. About 30 to 70 percent of all children diagnosed with ADHD will carry on with their disorder through adulthood. It is harder to detect in adults because they have learned to adequately handle the disorder. By learning to live with it and work around it, adults have less of a need for help. Yet, in many cases both children and adults will need medications to help focus attention.

Symptoms of this disorder in children will be such things as inattentiveness, impulsive behavior and constant restlessness. These children have a hard time sitting still or concentrating on just one thing for a very long period of time. In adults, it is more difficult to diagnose. It can be seen in the inability to structure their lies and to plan their daily activities.
