In fact, it is one of the most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/popular+outdoor" rel="tag">popular outdoor</a> activities in many countries. In the United States in particular, freshwater fishing has become very popular. This is due in large part to the commercialization of the sport. Freshwater fishing tournaments are held on a national level, and some of them are even televised. This has helped the sport gain a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lot" rel="tag">lot</a> of attention, and has brought in a lot of newcomers. <br /><br /> You can take part in freshwater fishing anywhere there is freshwater. And since this is much more abundant than saltwater, it is also the more popular of the two. Regardless of where you live, you should never have a problem finding somewhere to go freshwater fishing. <br /><br /> If you are looking for somewhere to go freshwater fishing, you have a few options available. They include a small stream or creek, a pond, a lake, or a river. Each one of these offers their own benefits to any fisherman. <br /><br /> Freshwater fishing can be a lot of fun because there are so many species that you can go after. The two most popular are bass and trout; but there are many more that you can fish for if interested. The specie of fish that you are going after is nothing more than <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/personal+preference" rel="tag">personal preference</a>. <br /><br /> Freshwater fishing is a relaxing activity that anybody can take up. You do not have to be athletic to take part in freshwater fishing, and at the same time it is very easy to get started in this sport. You do not need a lot of money, and anybody can get started on a very small budget. <br /><br /> Overall, freshwater fishing is here to stay. This sport is popular all over the world, and it is only going to continue growing. <bio>For more intresting freshwater fishing try: <a href="<a href="http://www.action-adventure.info">http://www.action-adventure.info</a>/cat-fishing.htm"><a href="http://www.action-adventure.info">http://www.action-adventure.info</a>/cat-fishing.htm</a> or for sea water fishing <a href="<a href="http://www.action-adventure.info">http://www.action-adventure.info</a>/tuna-fishing.htm"><a href="http://www.action-adventure.info">http://www.action-adventure.info</a>/tuna-fishing.htm</a> <a href="http://www.action-adventure.info">http://www.action-adventure.info</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Tuna fishing off the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/coast+of+maine" rel="tag">coast of Maine</a> is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/immensely" rel="tag">immensely</a> popular, with thousands of anglers heading out on chartered trips and privately owned boats each year in search of that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/once+in+a+lifetime" rel="tag">once in a lifetime</a> catch. Maine is not renowned for having a varied tuna population, with the bluefin being the only native species. However, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bluefin+tuna" rel="tag">bluefin tuna</a> are highly sought after, particularly due to their immense size, power and swimming abilities. Once hooked, few fish will provide as big a challenge as a several hundred pound bluefin tuna. <br /><br /> As their name suggests, bluefin tuna have a dark blue coloring on top, graduating to silver along their sides and belly. Bluefin tuna have two <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dorsal+fins" rel="tag">dorsal fins</a>, a single anal fin and numerous partial fins along its back and underside. Their bodies built for speed, with a streamlined shape and powerful tail. Bluefin tuna are renowned for their speed and power, giving anglers lucky enough to hook one the fight of a lifetime. In terms of size, large adult bluefin can reach lengths of up to twelve feet and tip the scales at well over one thousand pounds. More typical examples are around the eight foot mark and weigh in at nearer six hundred pounds. <br /><br /> Large bluefin tuna are fairly solitary fish, often traveling alone or in very small, dispersed groups. Smaller bluefin's tend to travel in schools which may contain anywhere up to forty fish. Bluefin tuna are <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/migratory+fish" rel="tag">migratory fish</a>, and are typically found off the coast of Maine between early summer and late fall. The best months for fishing are reputed to be between August and October. <br /><br /> Bluefin tuna can be caught using a variety of methods, with trolling and baitfish both widely successful. Popular baits for both techniques include squid and mackerel. Chumming with herring is also popular, particularly later in the season when attempting to land bigger fish. Given the size and power of these fish, heavy duty equipment is required to land them. Custom-built, harnessed rods coupled with 130 class reels and 200 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pound+test" rel="tag">pound test</a> lines are not uncommon, and will suffice for the majority of bluefin present in Maine's waters. <br /><br /> Catching a big bluefin tuna is largely about being in the right place at the right time. Tuna can be found at any distance from the shore, though the majority of chartered vessels travel some ten to thirty miles off the coast. Bluefin tuna can be found throughout Maine's waters, though there are popular locations such as Jeffrey's Ledge which are favored by many anglers. <br /><br /> In many parts, bluefin tuna are considered to be the ultimate game fish. Their large size coupled with the ability to swim at speeds approaching fifty miles an hour makes the bluefin tuna an exciting prospect for anglers. Add to that several-hour long fights, and you have probably the ultimate fishing challenge available in Maine. <bio>Ronald Moody has been an avid fisherman for 40 years. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Inshore fishing on Virginia Beach charter boats may include trips for striped bass, sea bass, and both red and black drum while <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/offshore+fishing+charters" rel="tag">offshore fishing charters</a> target tuna, sharks, dolphin, billfish and other species. The area is world famous for its saltwater fishing.<br><br>One well known fisherman is Captain Keith Harlan who fishes the Mega Bite out of Virginia Beach. He has fished local waters from the Eastern Shore, Chesapeake Bay, and Virginia Beach to Cape Hatteras for over 30 years. Captain Keith's vast fishing experience also includes the waters of Barbados, Turks and Caicos, Bahamas, Bermuda, Jamaica, Puerto Rico and Key West.<br><br>In the summer months, offshore fishing from Virginia Beach is excellent. Captain Keith described Virginia offshore fishing saying, "Nothing is etched in stone with fishing around here but chasing yellowfin tuna thru much of the summer is our main activity". These tuna like deeper water for the most part, often being caught in water from 30 to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/100+fathoms" rel="tag">100 fathoms</a>. "We watch the satellite shots to get a general idea of how far north or south the tuna are" explained the Captain.<br><br>Fishing spots include the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/norfolk+canyon" rel="tag">Norfolk Canyon</a>, Cigar, Weather Buoy, Wayne's World and others. These hotspots range up to 75 miles out of Rudee Inlet. In addition to yellowfin tuna, anglers catch bluefin, bigeye, skipjack and longfin <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/albacore+tuna" rel="tag">albacore tuna</a>, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dolphin+fish" rel="tag">dolphin fish</a>, wahoo, billfish and sharks.<br><br>Of interest to many anglers are the trips that reach the Norfolk Canyon. Just before reaching the canyon walls are slopes that are often very productive areas. Near the canyon walls, the bottom becomes steeper and rockier. Fish congregate along the drop offs to catch food that is caught in the hard running current. Along the edges are lobster traps which are marked by orange buoys or "lobster balls". The buoys attract dolphin fish which in turn attract the larger marlin, swordfish and sharks which feed on them heavily. A trip by a buoy can be uneventful, or one or more lines might be attacked by mahi mahi, tuna, marlin or other fish.<br><br>Late August and September often feature the best fishing with anglers seeing larger numbers of tuna as well as an influx of wahoo and bull dolphin. Offshore fishing continues into October, when windy weather and falling water temperatures make fishing less productive.<br><br>After the offshore season winds down, Virginia anglers enjoy excellent striped bass fishing. Known locally as rockfish, these delicious fish migrate down the East Coast and congregate in the lower Chesapeake Bay and coastal waters from November thru March. Anglers sometimes catch monster rockfish, exceeding 50 lbs. The Virginia state record rockfish has been broken many times recently, with some of the biggest fish being caught out of Virginia Beach Virginia.<br><br>These beautiful gamefish love cold and windy weather and feed in immense schools along the coast. Local charter boat captains such as Captain Keith of the Mega Bite keep watch on local fishing and are usually able to find the fish reliably when a winter weather window of opportunity becomes available.<bio>For more information on Virginia charter fishing, visit <a TARGET="_new" href="http://www.sportfishingmegabitestyle.com/">www.sportfishingmegabitestyle.com</a></bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ While it is obvious that the nutritional facts of tuna show it is a great meat to eat (one gram of fat, no carbohydrates, and approx. 20 grams of protein in each seving) and is a great thing for bodybuilders to eat, most bodybuilders do not like tuna. While tuna doesn't taste good by itself, it always needs helpers to make it taste better. There are different mixtures that will help you get a better taste out of the tuna. Here are a few recipes that will help you get the healthy benefits of tuna in a great tasting way. <br /><br /><br /><br />Tip: Buy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/starkist" rel="tag">Starkist</a>'s tuna that comes inside the flavour flesh pouch. This is because it is way more convenient then <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/canned+tuna" rel="tag">canned tuna</a>. You won't have to get the smell of tuna on your hands either as you open the can and drain it in the sink. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lemon+pepper" rel="tag">Lemon Pepper</a> Tuna <br /><br /><br /><br />It easy to make, all you have to do is get out a pan, spray the pan with non stick caloric non stick spray and dump the tuna in the pan. Then you should toss on some lemon pepper (You may purchase lemon pepper that is already mixed at your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/local+grocery+store" rel="tag">local grocery store</a>). Then, proceed to turn on the burner and allow the tuna to cook, stirring periodically. When the tuna becomes warm, cooked, or burnt, which depends on how you prefer, place the tuna on a plate and then you can start eating it. The only addition made to the nutritional value of the tuna is a bit more sodium. <br /><br /> Worcestershire (If wished, with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cheese" rel="tag">cheese</a>) Tuna <br /><br /><br /><br />This is also a very easy meal to make. You get a pan, spray with non caloric non stick spray then dump the tuna in the pan. You then pour some <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/worcestershire+sauce" rel="tag">Worcestershire sauce</a> onto the tuna and start to cook it. After the cooking process is done, you turn your burner off (a lot of common sense used here eh?), put some cheese on (if you wish) the tuna, cover the pan with a lid and let the cheese melt onto the tuna. Then you should add Worcestershire sauce if you wish to and note that it adds approximately one gram of carbs to the nutritional total. Depending on which kind of cheese you use, you add about 5 grams of protein, 2 grams of carbohydrates and anywhere from 0-10 grams of fat. <br /><br /> Tuna and Egg <br /><br /><br /><br />Take out a pan, spray with some non caloric non stick spray, and dump the tuna/egg into a bowl. You should stir the ingredients together inside the bowl and after they are mixed together, pour the product into the pan and let it cook. After the egg is fully cooked, put some additonal pepper and salt into the pan if you wish and then eat it. You may also add cheese together which tastes good with this mixture. The eggs make up for approximately 5 grams of fat, 8 grams of protein and 1 carbohydrate. <br /><br /><br /><br />There are also many other different solutions you could do which do not incorporate using mayonnaise and should be done if preferred by you. <bio><a href="http://www.linksjuice.com/33/Cooking/" >http://www.linksjuice.com/33/Cooking/</a> for websites with great cooking tips and recipes. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[The waters off Chincoteague offer a variety of opportunities for offshore fishermen. Spring weather is usually very windy and boats don't often get to fish outside the inlet in the early season. When a calm day presents itself, anglers can catch <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tautog" rel="tag">tautog</a> or sea bass over local shipwrecks and artificial reefs. <br /><br /> By June, monster <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bluefish" rel="tag">bluefish</a> arrive and are often present in enormous numbers along the 20 fathom line. This fishing usually amounts to a 25-30 nautical mile trip from the inlet. <br /><br /> Days behind the bluefish are several <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/species+of+sharks" rel="tag">species of sharks</a>, the most sought after being the mako. Sandbar, tiger, thresher, blue, blacktip, bull, hammerhead and other sharks also begin to appear about this time. Local anglers attract sharks by chumming with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ground+fish" rel="tag">ground fish</a>, then using wire leaders baited with whatever bait can be attained. Fresh baits like bluefish, trout, mackerel, bonita, or false albacore are preferred. <br /><br /> By mid-June, tuna often appear off the coast. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bluefin+tuna" rel="tag">Bluefin tuna</a> prefer cooler water and usually arrive first. In the early season, bluefin are caught among the vicious bluefish by trolling. By July, many anglers switch tactics and fish for tuna with cut <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/butterfish" rel="tag">butterfish</a>. About the same time, yellowfin and dolphinfish begin to appear and many anglers troll for them as far out as Washington, Poorman's and Norfolk Canyons. Some of these trips can exceed 70 nautical miles although good fishing is often just 25-30 nautical miles from home. <br /><br /> Late summer usually brings changes to offshore fishing. Better fishing is likely as tuna school up and develop a bigger appetite. Marlin, wahoo and large dolphinfish are also more likely. Another big factor is hurricane season. Some years we enjoy good late <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/season+weather" rel="tag">season weather</a> and others we wait as systems work off the coast. Patient anglers usually get a few nice days and enjoy good offshore fishing into the fall. <br /><br /> By October, most ocean going anglers turn their attention back to sea bass, flounder and tautog. As the waters cool further, red drum and striped bass or andquot;rockfishandquot; migrate down the coast. By this time offshore fishing has ended and most anglers either retire, or begin fishing inshore for striped bass which goes on throughout the winter months. <br /><br /> For more on local fishing and outdoor recreation, visit Maryland and Virginia Saltwater Fishing. <bio>The author is a small business web designer, recreational angler and owner of several outdoor websites. <content:encoded><![CDATA[If you are fishing for a big game fish or just a small fish to throw in the pan you need to know what <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+gear" rel="tag">fishing gear</a> to use for the type of fishing you will be doing. If you are deep sea fishing obviously you want to use a deep sea <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+pole" rel="tag">fishing pole</a> not one that is used for pond fishing. For this reason it is important to know the basics of fishing gear. <br /><br /> One of the most important aspects to know in fishing gear is the rod. There are different types of rods for different types of fishing. First specify what type of fishing you will be doing than pick the reel that is designed for that type of fishing. <br /><br /> The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+line" rel="tag">fishing line</a> you use is also important. Much like the rod there are different lines for different types of fishing. But in fishing line you can use line for sea fishing that won't be strong enough to support the weight of the fish you will be trying to catch. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/target" rel="tag">Target</a> the figure for the weight of the fish and then buy the fishing line accordingly. <br /><br /> A reel is an important thing to know as well as there are many different types of reels to use for different types of fishing. Much like most of the aspects in fishing gear you need to specify what type of fishing you will do and then pick the reel after you have done that. <br /><br /> Other aspects of fishing gear that must be addressed by knowing the type of fishing you will do is lures, bait, as well as other fishing gear accessories. Specify what type of fishing you will do and then put together your fishing gear based on that type of fishing. <br /><br /> The best way to customize your fishing gear to what type of fishing you will be doing is to talk to a professional which can be found at most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+stores" rel="tag">fishing stores</a> and generally you can find them at sporting goods stores as well. <bio>Robert Coram writes for <a href="http://www.fishing-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/utopia" rel="tag">utopia</a>.com" >http://www.fishing-utopia.com</a>, a website packed with fishing gear resources </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ If you are the sort of person who enjoys a more extreme and thrilling fishing trip, then Canada is definitely the place for you. In Canada there are rivers, lakes, and streams in abundance. You can find both fresh and saltwater fishing areas all within close proximity of each other. And the fish themselves are plentiful in this great part of North America. And as a result there are many types of fishing trips to choose from, so you are sure to find one or more that you love. <br /><br /> As for bodies of water, there are two main types of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+in+canada" rel="tag">fishing in Canada</a> =96 salt water and lake water fishing. Both are different from one other, and information concerning either is available in most any of the plentiful fishing equipment shops. You can also buy everything in the fishing shops that you will need for your trip. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/salmon+fishing" rel="tag">Salmon fishing</a> is particularly popular in Canada. And as there are many "versions" of salmon to fish, you might experience some difficulty making a choice. Frequently, people base their trips simply and exclusively around salmon fishing. <br /><br /> Fishing in the salty waters of Canada's three coasts is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/immensely" rel="tag">immensely</a> popular. There are scores of large fish to be caught off the shores, increasingly as the waters reach deeper levels. Tuna and shark are two of the species that are highly sought. <br /><br /> The older sport of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fly+fishing" rel="tag">fly fishing</a> is also very common in Canada. Fly fishing is performed by using a lure, also known as a fly. If this is of interest to you, check out some of the fly fishing packages available. <br /><br /> Ice fishing is another form of fishing that offers a lot of fun while in Canada. There is quite a bit of equipment that you need for such trips, however, but your guide - if you hire one - will be more than happy to help you gather what you require. While there, you can rent an ice hut to serve as shelter from the elements. Ice fishing truly has to be experienced to gain a good appreciation of its <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/nuances" rel="tag">nuances</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ The South Pacific is the place to go if you want both an exciting and interesting fishing experience. It is an area that draws people from far and wide. In late summer it is one of the accommodating places in the world to fish for tuna and billfish. This is because as the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/weather" rel="tag">weather</a> gets colder, they swim close to the shore to keep warm. <br /><br /> Fishing in the South Pacific can be done at any time of year. The winter is an especially thrilling time to fish and there are no particular must-haves for fishing in the area. You can literally show up in warm clothes with your gear, and you are ready to start. <br /><br /> Some of the best places for tourists to fish are <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vanuatu" rel="tag">Vanuatu</a>, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solomon+islands" rel="tag">Solomon Islands</a>, Tonga, and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/niue" rel="tag">Niue</a>. You will find that there is no shortage of fish in these areas, a real bonus for enjoying your time there. As the fishing there is very straightforward, you will not need any special equipment, so out-of-pocket expense is kept to a minimum. <br /><br /> You can also witness some of the spectacular acrobatics of the sailfish in the South Pacific. These are just one of the many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/amazing+fish" rel="tag">amazing fish</a> you can track on your trip. And if you are looking for a tale to tell everyone when you get home, why not try to land a trevally. <br /><br /> Fishing in the South Pacific is traditionally not only for food. Many of the local fishermen engage in the catch-and-release practice. This is helpful for maintaining higher levels of fish, and it also is respectful of the marine life itself since there is little point to keeping anything you do not intend to eat. <br /><br /> Regardless of your fishing skills, you are sure to thoroughly enjoy a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+trip" rel="tag">fishing trip</a> in the South Pacific. Whether you are new to fishing or an old hand, you will certainly be challenged all the same. Look for a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+guide" rel="tag">fishing guide</a> to help you find and catch exactly what you want. <br /><br /> On the other hand, if you prefer to focus more on the game side of fishing as a sport, it is a good idea to rent a boat for the purpose. These pursuits are certainly no longer reserved for only the wealthy; almost anyone can enjoy them. Whatever kind of fishing you opt for in the South Pacific, you are sure to have a fantastic time. <bio>For great fishing trip information, please visit <a href="http://www.fishing-trip-adventures.com" >http://www.fishing-trip-adventures.com</a>, a popular web site providing insights on how to maximize your fishing adventures, such as in Alaska - <a href="http://www.fishing-trip-adventures.com/alaska_fly_in_fishing_trips.shtml" >http://www.fishing-trip-adventures.com/alaska_fly_in_fishing_trips.shtml</a>. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ The right <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+pole" rel="tag">fishing pole</a> is necessary for you to be able to catch fish. Poles that are too long will not offer you enough control over the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+line" rel="tag">fishing line</a>. Poles that are too short may snap easily when you are trying to reel in a fish. The right pole is usually determined by your height and the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/types+of+fish" rel="tag">types of fish</a> you want to catch. Larger fish will require thicker fishing line and a thicker fishing pole in order to stand the tension placed on the line. <br /><br /> Common types of fishing rods include fly fishing rods, ultra-light fishing rods, carbon <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fiber+rod" rel="tag">fiber rod</a>, spin casting rods, spinning rods, and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ice+fishing+rods" rel="tag">ice fishing rods</a>. Each of these rods is available online and can be purchased along with other items that will enhance your fishing experience. If you have never used any of these rods, you should first determine which type of fishing you want to and then find a rod that matches it. <br /><br /> Fly rods are smaller and do not have spinners or reels. Because you need to cast your line out and bring it in slowly in order to attract fish, a reel is not necessary. Fly fishing is difficult to master and not for those who want to catch a lot of fish at one time. If you want to learn how to fly fish, you should take lessons from a friend or professional guide who will be able to teach you the correct technique. <br /><br /> Ultra-light fishing rods are used when fishing in lakes, streams, and ponds. They are used to catch fish using a lure, weight, floater, or live bait. These rods are not heavy, but they can be strong when they need to be. Attached to them are smaller reels that are used to pull in fishing line. You should use these rods when you first start fishing. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/carbon+fiber+rods" rel="tag">Carbon fiber rods</a> are heavier and used for ocean fishing. They can withstand the pull of larger fish. When using these rods, you will have to buy thicker fishing line. These rods are used by those who enjoy competing in tournaments and when fishing for larger fish like salmon, marlin, and tuna. If you want to fish in the ocean, you may need to hire a charter boat and go out with a crew who will be able to show you the best fishing spots and assist if you catch anything. <br /><br /> Spinning rods and spin casting rods are used to help fishermen have more control over their fishing pole. Ice fishing poles are used to catch fish that are swimming under the ice. If you are interested in this type of fishing, you will have to travel to cold places where you can fish on frozen lakes and ponds. <bio>Mark Jackson is a freelance editor for Fishing Lures and Poles. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Few places carry the mystique of Florida <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/deep+sea+fishing" rel="tag">deep sea fishing</a> among the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+community" rel="tag">fishing community</a>, and for an important reason. Just about every fisherman wants to try out deep sea fishing, because of the adventure and incredible fishing opportunities that it offers. If this is you, then few places rival the coast of Florida.<br><br>Also, this is something you can do with the entire family, even if they aren't into fishing, because being out on the water is an enjoyable experience for just about anybody, as it can be a very relaxing way to spend the today.<br><br>In addition, this is a top place you can introduce them and get them hooked on the sport of fishing for the rest of their life, because fishing is one of the few sports that anybody can do, at any age.<br><br>Even if the rest of the family isn't into fishing and has no interest in it, when you choose the right location (and how can you go wrong with Florida) they will still have plenty of activities to do while you are out fishing, so this isn't an issue.<br><br>So where are the top <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/florida+deep+sea+fishing" rel="tag">Florida deep sea fishing</a> locations? First off, marathon fishing is right off the Florida keys, and is one of the best places you can start. This place offers just about any <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kind+of+fish" rel="tag">kind of fish</a> you can imagine, whether it be barracuda, tarpon, billfish, snappers, a lot of variety of tuna, etc.<br><br>Really, the sky is the limit as far as what you can catch here. With that said, however, you should have an idea of what you are targeting before you go, so that you know <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hat+kind" rel="tag">hat kind</a> of fishing tackle to buy.<br><br>Here is a different location you might consider: the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/florida+tarpon" rel="tag">Florida Tarpon</a>. Again, this is virtually no limit to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kinds+of+fish" rel="tag">kinds of fish</a> you can catch here, so choose wisely.<br><br>The bottom line is, I could give an exhaustive list of places to go, but you really can't go wrong with Florida deep sea fishing, because virtually anyplace you go off the coast of Florida will provide ample fishing opportunities.<br><br>Stuck on what kid of fish to go after? When in doubt, I'd recommend the Tarpon, if for no other reason that these are the most popular fish off the coast of Florida, and you are almost guaranteed to find many of these.<br><br>If you focus on a lesser populated breed, it is more of a crap shoot whether you will find any, but you can be guaranteed to find Florida tarpon. Also, the time of the year plays a role in what kind of fish will be there and what won't, so keep this in mind as well when planning your trip. If in doubt, call a local fishing shop and ask them for the best time to go and target the kind of fish you are looking for.<br><br>If you are an avid fisherman, then Florida deep sea fishing is something that you need to experience at least once in your lifetime. It ranks right up there with Alaska fishing as must do before you die.<bio>Want to learn more about <a href="http://www.internetfishingtips.com/floridadeepseafishing.htm">Florida Deep Sea Fishing</a>? <content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/deep+sea+fishing" rel="tag">Deep sea fishing</a> is an experience, while it is a known fact that many people like to fish and enjoy fishing as a hobby of deep sea fishing is a little different and provides a whole different experience of fishing for most people. For those who appreciate fishing there are many other factors that contribute to the whole thing, the solitude and peace of fishing and the mental game that is part of the waiting and planning your moves, the technical part of fishing is very different from one fisherman to the other, but the basics of the environment and the governing principals of the fishing event stay the same in almost all circumstances. <br /><br /> Deep sea fishing is different than is regular fishing, it is much more of an adventure and a fun ride than anything else, for anyone who loves fishing and the sea it is one experience that should not be missed, the force of the ocean and the experience of fishing in a the ocean, where any fish can appear out of the blue literally will change the life of an amateur fisherman and would provide him with many things to think about when he is planning his next fishing trip. <br /><br /> A very popular deep sea fishing destination is the Gulf of Mexico where there are <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/plenty+of+fish" rel="tag">plenty of fish</a>, the variety is not only good for fishing but also good for a general education of the fish that are living in this area of the world, and a good lesson in fish naming too. You can find mostly <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/grouper" rel="tag">grouper</a> and snapper in these waters but you also stand a very good chance of running into many other <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/offshore+fish" rel="tag">offshore fish</a> like tuna and kingfish, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/spanish+mackerel" rel="tag">Spanish mackerel</a> and giant <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/red+fish" rel="tag">red fish</a>. <br /><br /> The captains of these fishing boats are experts in fishing locations and usually know the fishing destinations well enough to guarantee a good trip, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/needless+to+say" rel="tag">needless to say</a> these captains are also professionals that will make sure that you are traveling safely and that the rules and regulations of proper conduct at sea are maintained. The crew of the ships is usually there to make all the arrangements for the fisherman on board so there will be no hassle and no hard work for anyone, some fishing boat crews even clean and bag the fish for you to take off the ship with you. <br /><br /> With the wind in your hair and the smell of the ocean you will be riding the waves to a fishing experience, maybe even accompanied by dolphins as you go. With a little luck you will see and experience some amazing fish in their natural habitat and will also fish in the natural water sin which they live, ocean fish may turn out to be much stronger than you would think. With professional crew and captain your deep sea fishing experience should be a wonderful memory and maybe even a chance to break a few of those fishing records that you know everything about. <bio>David Evermon has been involved in many environment related projects, writing on many subjects related to the environment and his hobbies, David writes articles about Deep Sea Fishing at <a href="http://deepseafishing.advice-tips.com" >http://deepseafishing.advice-tips.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ There are many things you can do to get rid of your stress at work and get relaxed for a while. Fishing is one of the alternatives. <br /><br /> For those who love fishing, you would find <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sea+fish" rel="tag">sea fish</a>ing more interesting. Although the cost you might need to spend is more than if you do it on the rivers or lakes, you will get more excitement if you can do it. <br /><br /> People find that fishing is easy to do. All you have to do is simply lower the hook into the water and wait until a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fish+bites" rel="tag">fish bites</a>. <br /><br /> Is it actually that easy? Itand#8217;s fun but itand#8217;s not that easy. Not only you have to be a very patient person, you also have to master some fishing techniques. <br /><br /> Here are some techniques you have to learn to be able to sea fish: <br /><br /> and#8226;Trolling <br /><br /> This is the easiest techniques of all used by beginners as well as expert in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sea+fishing" rel="tag">sea fishing</a>. Trolling is for the most part suited to capture those with high individual value for example tuna, wahoo, dorado, barracuda and salmon. <br /><br /> and#8226;Jigging <br /><br /> Jigging is widely used to catch squid. Normally itand#8217;s done at night with the aid of light attraction. The jig can be presented at a lot of various depths and around a multiplicity of structure. <br /><br /> and#8226;Popping <br /><br /> This is an effective technique to catch <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fish+in+the+sea" rel="tag">fish in the sea</a> surface. It uses a lure called POPPER. Fishing using this particular technique might create a sound that invites predators. <br /><br /> There are some more other types in fishing that you can learn. Yet, to make your fishing activity a success, also fins out how to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/spot+fish" rel="tag">spot fish</a>. One of the signs of the presence of fish is a group of birds eating <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/small+fish" rel="tag">small fish</a>. It shows that far below there are bigger fish to catch. Another sign is when you find something floating, youand#8217;ll soon find a group of fish there. <bio>David W Richards is a father of two kids. He loves taking the whole family to fish together. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Are you fishing with the right reel? Maybe you should try <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shimano+reel" rel="tag">Shimano Reel</a>s.<br><br>Whether you're a freshwater or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/saltwater+fisherman" rel="tag">salt<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/water+fish" rel="tag">water fish</a>erman</a>, you've probably asked yourself the question, "Am I using the right fishing reel?" Because let's face it - if you're not catching fish, something has to give! And guys, we all know it isn't us! It's undoubtedly the fishing rod, fishing reel, the weather -- basically anything but us!<br><br>Well, I have good news: Shimano has a fishing reel for virtually every type of fishing, whether you're a fresh or saltwater fisherman. Let me walk you through a few different types of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shimano+reels" rel="tag">Shimano Reels</a>. We'll go through these in 5 different posts, and when we're finished you should have a good idea whether or not you're using the Shimano Reel that will best suit your fishing style.<br><br>It's important to understand that Shimano Reels are grouped into five major categories:<br><br>•Shimano <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/conventional+reel" rel="tag">Conventional Reel</a>s<br>•Shimano Low Profile Baitcasting Reels<br>•Shimano Round Baitcasting Fishing Reels<br>•Shimano Offshore Spinning Reels<br>•Shimano Traditional Spinning Reels<br><br>Today we'll discuss Shimano's Conventional line of fishing reels. Shimano Conventional reels are an excellent choice for both offshore saltwater fishing as well as blue water fishing.<br><br>If you didn't know (and don't be ashamed guys), offshore saltwater fishing is fishing away from the shore, usually on a boat. Offshore saltwater fishing includes the following types (but is not limited to) of fishing: bottom fishing, angling, blue water fishing, and many more types of fishing.<br><br>Blue water fishing is exactly what it sounds like -- fishing in blue water! Fish for cod, shark, and bluefin fish with a great conventional reel from Shimano.<br><br>For blue water fishing, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shimano+torsa" rel="tag">Shimano Torsa</a> is an excellent choice. <content:encoded><![CDATA[When planning for a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+vacation" rel="tag">fishing vacation</a> the first thing you have to know is what type of fishing would you like to do. There are so many different types from <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fly+fishing" rel="tag">fly fishing</a> to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/deep+sea+fishing" rel="tag">deep sea fishing</a> to lake fishing that it is hard choose from, especially from the avid angler. If you care more for the location than the type of fish than pick a place you would like to go and see if those places have fishing nearby, which they probably do. <br /><br /> Many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+trips" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+trip" rel="tag">fishing trip</a>s</a> are also planned depending on what time of year it is. In some bodies of water the fish bite more than at others for various reasons. When planning a fishing trip look into the fishing conditions at the place that you want to go and try to go when there is a better chance of the fish biting. <br /><br /> The type of trip also is based on the type of fish you want to catch because obviously you aren't going to go fly fishing if you want to catch a marlin. If you want a certain type of fish scout out where they are and go from there. When planning a fishing vacation there are so many things that factor in tow what trip you want to take by knowing what you want out of the trip it makes it that much easier to plan for it. <br /><br /> Lodging is also important when planning a fishing trips because many times the fish bite better early in the morning so you want to stay as close to the fishing area as possible. Look at lodges, hotels, and campsites beforehand and if you picked the trip make sure to make reservations well ahead of time as you don't want to get to a place that is full only to have to go further from the fishing spot. <br /><br /> The most important thing to know when planning a fishing trip is what type of trip you want to take, whether it be by fish, area, or fishing style, knowing this will make the planning much easier. <bio><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/robert+coram" rel="tag">Robert Coram</a> writes about fishing vacations for <a href="http://www.fishing-universe.com" >http://www.fishing-universe.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Do you love to go fishing? If you do, then you know that it is one of the most enjoyable ways to spend your time. And what you need then is the right <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+boat" rel="tag">fishing boat</a> to help you get the most out of your fishing experiences. There are a lot of different types of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+boats" rel="tag">fishing boats</a> available. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/different+boats" rel="tag">Different boats</a> offer you different features depending on the type of fishing that you enjoy. Therefore, the first decision in choosing the right fishing boat will be to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/decide+what+type" rel="tag">decide what type</a> of fishing you plan on doing. This is important. For example, a bass boat would not work well for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/walleye+fishing" rel="tag">walleye fishing</a> because it is not equipped to handle deep water and big waves. <br /><br /> You also need to determine what type of angler you are as well. In other words, do you plan on using the boat purely for fishing or would you like to use it for recreation as well, perhaps maybe even throw in a few skiing trips once in awhile. If you only want the boat for fishing then buy one designed especially for that purpose. If you like to do other water activities also then look for a boat with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/multiply" rel="tag">multiply</a> features. Many of the newer designs such as the "sportfish" model are designed for excellent fishing and many other water activities as well. <br /><br /> The area in which you plan on fishing goes hand in hand with the type of fishing you plan on taking part in. For instance, will you be fishing in fresh water, salt water or both? If you will be fishing in saltwater, do you plan on going <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/deep+sea+fishing" rel="tag">deep sea fishing</a> or staying near the waters edge? These are important questions you need to consider to help you choose the right boat for your fishing needs. <br /><br /> Another question to consider is whether or not you will only be fishing during the day or if you will also be fishing during the night. If you do night fishing then you need to choose a boat that can provide you with some protection and is more comfortable than some fishing boats. Consider how many people will be accompanying you on your fishing trips. This is a big factor in choosing the right fishing boat. You will need to choose a boat that is big enough for everyone to fit comfortably and also have enough room to maneuver the fishing rods with ease. <br /><br /> You even need to decide if you prefer a fiberglass boat to an aluminum fishing boat. Each one has its own advantages and disadvantages. It all depends on the type of fishing you plan on doing. The bottom line is, before you go out to look for that perfect fishing boat, take time to consider the things we have mentioned above. Asking yourself all the right questions will aid you in deciding which fishing boat would be the best boat to fulfill all your needs. <bio>Paula Radmall is a fishing enthusiast as well as an author and editor for <a href="http://www.OnlineFishingIndex.com" >http://www.OnlineFishingIndex.com</a> . <content:encoded><![CDATA[Fly fishing may seem like a great and easy-going hobby but it is actually a difficult <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sport" rel="tag">sport</a> that requires a true love for fishing and a sharp mind to understand all the instructions and the use of the equipment for fly fishing. It is different from ordinary fishing where you have a rod and a bait and then you can throw it anywhere and just wait for the fish to catch it. <br /><br /> The art of fly fishing can be passed on from one generation to another. For those who were not lucky enough to have uncles or fathers who left them a fly fishing legacy, then knowing the basics would be more than helpful in starting the sport. <br /><br /> Unknown to some people, there are fishing waters that have been designated solely for fly fishing. Fly fishing is both an art and a sport which makes use of a fly rod. Fly fishing has become such a hit among sportsmen and fishing enthusiasts that a variety of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fly+fishing+products" rel="tag">fly fishing products</a> have become available in the market <br /><br /> Fly fishing has in fact become an industry that has turned the fly fishing pastime into a million dollar business. As it is, short fly fishing courses are already available for those who want to learn the sport in a few days or weeks. <br /><br /> Getting the right equipment for fly fishing is very important if you want to succeed in the sport. There are fly reels that are expensive but can they really make you successful in your casting? Reels can cost as much as thousands of dollars depending on their brands and made. A fly reel is actually the thing that holds the fly line and winds it back and forth. <br /><br /> Once you get the hang of fly <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+basics" rel="tag">fishing basics</a>, then you can go on your very first <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fly+fishing+trip" rel="tag">fly fishing trip</a> as a professional, meaning you have undergone proper training. The first thing you need to do is to check your equipment, and make sure that your fly reels are working properly. <br /><br /> It is also important to get your fly <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+license" rel="tag">fishing license</a> ahead in order to avoid long queues in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fly+fishing+shops" rel="tag">fly fishing shops</a>. Be prepared before going on a fly <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fishing+adventure" rel="tag">fishing adventure</a> which means you must monitor river and weather conditions. First timers would want to feel the excitement of fly fishing opening day but if you have been there, then it is better to skip it and focus on the other days that could be more productive. <bio>The author is a regular contributor to many websites including <a href="http://www.flyfishingweekends.com">http://www.flyfishingweekends.com</a> where more fly fishing information is available as it relates to fishing trips, education and more . . . </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Costa Rica is a tropical paradise that is abundant in panoramic views and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/majestic+landscapes" rel="tag">majestic landscapes</a>. Moreover, it is also filled with beaches comprised of fine white sands and pristine waters. Not only that it is a great place to swim and spend a very relaxing vacation but also an excellent area to do some serious fishing. The waters of Costa Rica are the home of a wide range of fish species including tuna, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rooster+fish" rel="tag">Rooster Fish</a>, Marlin, sailfish, Tarpon, Snook and Mahi Mahi just to name a few. According to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/costa+rica+fishing+report" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/costa+rica+fishing" rel="tag">Costa Rica Fishing</a> Report</a> in October 2007, sport fishing has become one of the biggest tourist attractions in the country especially during the months of August through December. <br /><br /> The Costa Rica fishing report also noted that as a result of the increased numbers of fisherman that it's not just the tourism industry that increased but the demand for real estate as well. Investors and tourists all over the world who were enjoying the great fishing frequently decided to buy properties near the beaches and join the increasing number of fishing enthusiasts in the area. As a result new businesses that support the sport of fishing are being established. Boat rental and sales have also increased and there are now numerous fishing schools and other <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/deep+sea+fishing" rel="tag">deep sea fishing</a> services. This is definitely a big help not only for the local businesses but also for all of the fisherman seeking to enjoy Costa Rica's great fishing. <br /><br /> However, the Costa Rica Fishing Report for the month of December said that the fishing industry is currently slow in Costa Rica, especially if you are looking for marlin. Although there are a lot marlin sightings, few are interested in taking the bait. This is very uncommon. Usually, it seems as if the fish would want to be caught, taking the bait and sometimes leaping straight into the boat. However, many are still hoping that the fishing will liven up once more since some fishermen have been catching some sailfish and several other species in recent days. <br /><br /> In order for someone to be able to fish in any of the waters of Costa Rica, they must first acquire a legal fishing license. This is usually accomplished through your guide or guide service. You can find some information regarding the fishing license on numerous Costa Rica Fishing web sites. The fishing license is not usually included in the price of your charter. If you decide to fish on your own without a guide then you will have visit the local marina to purchase one. Enforcement officers do check licenses and fines can be costly. Remember the money from the fishing license is used for fishery management and to maintain the cleanliness of the water. <br /><br /> There are few destinations in the world that can match the quality and quantity of fishing opportunities found in Costa Rica waters. One unique aspect of fishing Costa Rica is that you can fish the waters of the Pacific Ocean one day and the next the waters of the Caribbean the next. In either location the fishing is world class. <bio>James Kesel, MS, is the publisher of Inexpensive Costa Rica Vacation website at <a href="http://www.costa-rica-source.com" >http://www.costa-rica-source.com</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shimano+rods" rel="tag">Shimano rods</a> are perhaps among the world's most sought-after fishing rods. For the past years, Shimano Incorporated has come up with newer creations that have made its line of fishing equipment more interesting. From mainstream and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/conventional+rods" rel="tag">conventional rods</a>, the company recently released some of the market's best fishing rods. Among these are the Shimano Trevala series, which are perfect for butterfly jigging. The main highlights of the fishing rods of Shimano are its warranty, affordable value, and high quality. The popularity of Shimano Trevala and other models of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shimano+fishing+rods" rel="tag">Shimano fishing rods</a> is owed to the outstanding design and management of these fishing equipment. Whether you want to go saltwater or freshwater fishing, you can get a superior-caliber fishing rod from Shimano.<br><br>Avail of Shimano Rods and Reels Combination<br><br>While you can shop for Shimano Trevala fishing rods, it is possible for you to buy a fishing rod together with other high-quality fishing equipment from the manufacturer. There are several participating fishing tackle dealers that are selling Shimano rods in combination with Shimano reels. <content:encoded><![CDATA["I wasn't quite expecting this" was the remark from our angler as we fitted him to the harness and urged him to be patient as the bluefin steadily took line off the reel, with no sign of stopping. <br /><br /> We had pushed hard to be among the first boats to set lines off the Virginia coast on this overcast July morning. We had set the center line, locally known as the way-way back or simply <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wwb" rel="tag">WWB</a>. The rig consists of a bird, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/daisy+chain" rel="tag">daisy chain</a> of artificial squid and green machine. Within seconds of placing the rod in the rod holder, and before we could set the second line, we were hooked up to a nice <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bluefin+tuna" rel="tag">bluefin tuna</a>. <br /><br /> Moments later we boated our second fish, a #40 class <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/yellowfin" rel="tag">yellowfin</a> on another daisy chain as the bulk of the fleet were about to throttle back and begin setting lines. This was <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tuna+fishing" rel="tag">tuna fishing</a> - Virginia style. <br /><br /> While this day we were successful, the season saw much of traditional tuna fishing knowledge proved worthless. Things that were not supposed to happen, did. Any seasoned Virginia angler will tell you that bluefin arrive first, eating cedar plugs in 20 fathoms. Farther offshore, yellowfin might appear, along the canyon edges. <br /><br /> Anglers were pleasantly surprised when sizable schools of small bluefin appeared along the canyon edges at the beginning of the season. Meanwhile yellowfin were absent, at least in the first weeks. Inshore, where bluefin were supposed to be, anglers found hordes of enormous <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bluefish" rel="tag">bluefish</a> which destroyed nearly any lure fished. Setting 4 lines would not be possible before all rods would go down. <br /><br /> Just 3-4 miles away lucky boaters could be in small bluefin, while those inshore were facing the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/monster" rel="tag">monster</a> blues. Eventually the bluefish invaded even the canyon waters, something that simply does not happen, ever. Tournament anglers in search of the season's first marlin suffered horrific tackle losses as the hungry bluefish bit thru hundreds of ballyhoo rigged on mono leaders. <br /><br /> Eventually, the bluefish subsided and anglers began to key on the tuna. Most experienced boats enjoyed excellent catches in the troll using a variety of daisy chains and spreader bars. Initially the bluefin were small, and their behavior was quite odd. They would eagerly attack 6 inch squid daisy chains while 9 inch lures were ignored. Small squids rigged on a spreader bar were equally effective. Many of the normally effective lures went untouched. <br /><br /> Upon examination of the stomachs, small squid were found, which correlated with the marks of bait that most anglers were detecting on their fish finders. Soon after the initial flood of small fish, events changed for the better. Yellowfin appeared, and a much larger class of bluefin entered the area. Suddenly larger spreader bars, full size green machines and 9 inch squid daisy chains drew the attention of tuna. <br /><br /> Boats reported 100+ lb tuna crashing spreader bars right at the stern, jumping completely out of the water before taking the hook. Meanwhile yellowfin took spreaders or daisy chains up close some days, while other days all the fish came on the WWB line. <br /><br /> Another local rig that saw success has been gaining popularity in recent years. Anglers will pull a specially rigged ballyhoo as much as 350 yards behind the boat. Most anglers use a very small or no skirt. Most anglers choose to utilize a long leader, 20' or more, attached to the main line with a small wind-on swivel. The rig is trolled at 6-7.5 knots in 20 -100 fathoms, depending on where the big bluefin have taken up residence. This rig is very effective in the dead of summer when bluefin are deep and refuse to bite other trolled baits. Fish over 100 lbs are common and some exceed 200. <br /><br /> Catches of tuna remained consistent thru August for those anglers that were able to capitalize on the fishes' preferences. Unfortunately Hurricane Katrina took her toll, scattering the fish and leaving shreds of Sargasso on every square foot of ocean. <br /><br /> A few days of fair weather allowed anglers to return to fishing. Anglers working the steep drops in 500-1000 fathoms found themselves in battles with big eye, sometimes multiples. <bio>The author maintains outdoor related websites including <a href="http://www.fresh-seafood.net/" >http://www.fresh-seafood.net/</a>, <a href="http://www.commercial-fishing.org/" >http://www.commercial-fishing.org/</a> and <a href="http://www.cafepress.com/outdoorsusa" >http://www.cafepress.com/outdoorsusa</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>
