What is true romance? Has anyone ever set parameters that define the state of true romance? Take the movies for example. Can romance be disguised as a thriller or an action drama? Take some of these classics when thinking about true romance.

Some movie fans have claimed that they find Sir Anthony Hopkins' portrayal of the infamous Hannibal Lector as romantic. Okay, so he's a bit off the deep end, but how many people do you know who would actually chop off his own hand to save you? If that isn't a sign of true romance, what is? Actually, if you think about it long enough, you wonder what the bloody heck he did with the handcuff key in the first place. He could have saved himself the trouble, but it's the thought that counts, right?

What about the Phantom of the Opera? All he wants is to be loved by Christine, for crying out loud! Why can't she get beyond the scars? What defines true romance if it's not the desire and yearning found within all of us to love and be loved? And consider Quasimodo, from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Yeah, he's appearance-challenged, but what a guy! How can you deny that poor man's sense of chivalry and loyalty? All he wanted was to be loved as well, and he risks his all to save Esmeralda. Again, what is true romance? True romance is indeed found in the eye of the beholder.

Women must always strive to realize that true romance is more than candlelight, roses and candy. We also realize that true romance is more than syrupy endearments and undying declarations of love, but again, there's some ancient thing inside of us that, for some silly reason, yearns to hear it anyway. Authors create wonderfully romantic characters, characters that many of us would like to call our own. Why in the world can't we train our guys to behave like that, anyway? Perhaps that's the reason for creating the romance genre. This way, we can finally have true romance in the man of our dreams. You think?

Most of us are mature enough to understand that the men we date or are married to aren't nearly as 'romantic' as their fictional or movie counterparts. Don't ask why not, but that seems to be the way it is. They may not measure up to the physical standards portrayed in many books and films, but who really cares? Our men are real. They're flesh and blood and if we're really lucky, they stand by us through thick or thin and shopping sprees. On paper and film screens, we see our 'true romance fantasy guys' at their best.

What, after all, actually constitutes true romance? Is it a candlelit dinner, or cuddling in front of a fire, or roller blading with your guy or just hanging out with each other? It should behoove us to remember that true romance comes wrapped in many different packages. It may come silently like a tender hug in the middle of the night, or warm bodies to lean against as you watch television. True romance may be a smile sent your way or a casual touch of the fingers. True romance doesn't have to sweep you off your feet, although that would be a nice sensation as long as you don't get hurt in the process. <bio>Still looking for the perfect romance?
When I was a boy, this skepticism reached me,and it seemed for a time as if I must give up all hope of religion. But fortunately for me I studied the Christian religion, the Mohammedan, the Buddhistic, and others, and what was my surprise to find that the same foundation principles taught by my religion were also taught by all religions. It appealed to me this way. What is the truth? I asked. Is this world true? Yes. Why? Because I see it. Are the beautiful sounds we just heard (the vocal and instrumental music) true? Yes.

Because we heard them. We know that man has a body, eyes, and ears, and he has a spiritual nature which we cannot see. And with his spiritual faculties he can study these different religions and find that whether a religion is taught in the forests and jungles of India or in a Christian land,in essentials all religions are one. This only shows us that religion is a constitutional necessity of the human mind. The proof of one religion depends on the proof of all the rest.

For instance,if I have six fingers, and no one else has,you may well say that is abnormal. The same reasoning may be applied to the argument that only one religion is true and all others false. One religion only, like one set of six fingers in the world, would be unnatural. We see, therefore, that if one religion is true, all others must be true. There are differences in non -essentials, but in essentials they are all one. If my five fingers are true, they prove that your five fingers are true too. Wherever man is, he must develop a belief, he must develop his religious nature.

And another fact I find in the study of the various religions of the world is that there are three different stages of ideas with regard to the soul and God.

To read the rest of the story visit http://www.spiritual-simplicity.com <bio>Lecturer, entrepreneur and Fortune 500 business consultant, Vish Writer is the author of the Amazon No 1 bestseller, "The Joy of Becoming God" For more information, visit: http://www.spiritual-simplicity.com http://www.vish-writer.com http://www.simplifyyourthoughts.com </bio>

When I have true faith, I fear nothing and no one. I experience Divine attention and care.

When my loved ones are in "danger", I trust that there is a Divine wisdom greater than my needs and desires

Although I fight with love for a world of equality and well being for all, I am able to perceive divine justice and wisdom behind the apparent injustices.

When I have true faith, I do not complain when my desires are not fulfilled.

I do not feel that I have been forgotten when my prayers "are not answered", because I trust that the Divine knows better the needs of my soul.

When I have true faith, I am liberated from the need to control all and everyone. I allow each to follow his or her own inner voice.

I neither criticize nor condemn others or myself.

When I have true faith, I forgive easily, as I am aware that each experience is a just and wise opportunity for my growth process.

I feel secure in my confidence that all results of my efforts will be the best possible outcome for our mutual evolution.

I have patience because I know that the Divine knows better when my desires should be satisfied.

When I have true faith, I love all unconditionally - even those whom I do not know, and those who behave egotistically because I remember that each being is a unique Divine expression.

I never feel lonely. I feel the Divine close to me around me and within me.

I am sincere and truthful in all my transactions and communications. Doing otherwise would be to lie or cheat my own Self.

I give to all, serving the Divine in each. I remember that it is the one Universal Consciousness (my "Self") who is hungry who is homeless, orphaned or in jail.

When I have true faith, I am simple and humble. I have no need to boast of myself in order to feel my self-worth

My divine nature is my self-worth. What more then can I have or do in order to be worthy?

As divine energy is it possible that my self-worth can be change because of other people's opinions?

When I have true faith, I have clarity and power.

My energy is free to focus in the present and to express itself creatively and effectively.

When I have true faith, I am happy. I perceive Divine beauty everywhere and in everyone. Also in myself

My mind is free to experience the present, which is much more beautiful than the past and future.

When I have true faith, I proceed with courage even into the unknown because I know very well that all is Divine.

I radiate Joy, Light and Love.

There is peace and exhalation.

All is Divine. <bio>Robert Elias Najemy, a life coach with 30 years of experience, is the author of over 20 books, 600 articles and 400 lectures on Human Harmony.
There are a lot of different money making systems out there and some of them are pretty tricky. One of these programs is called the True Wealth Today Gifting Program. This is a program that has no product or service and really is a big mystery as far as what exactly it is. It is said that you can make a lot of money with this kind of program.

Nobody really knows what they are. They are really good at getting people to fork over thousands of dollars in hopes of making a fortune from this program. When it comes down to it, True Wealth Today makes their money by giving people hopes and dreams. Fortunately, these hopes and dreams have actually had come true for many different people.

What They Do

Once again, it is unclear exactly what True Wealth Today does. They have no product. It seems that the whole program is based on getting other people to sign up and pay the large fee to sign up, which is the reason they are making money. When you get someone to sign up; you get paid. The objective is to get as many people to join the program as they can. They use the members that sign up to do most of that for them.

How you Make Money

You have to sign up with them at one of three different levels with True Wealth Today. The entry level is $500.00 and it costs $3500.00 to get into all three levels that they offer. Normally people that end up signing up fork over the entire $3500.00. With that said, they must sound really good to be able to get people to join their program. The way you make money is by getting leads and answering phone calls from your leads. You have to work on getting leads and getting people to call the 1800 number that you have to purchase as well. When you get people to sign up, that is when you start making money. If you can get a lot of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sign+ups" rel="tag">sign ups, then you can make a large amount of money. Some have been known to make $20,000.00 in just a week or two.

What We've Heard

There have been a lot of bad reviews about True Wealth Today, but there as also been some people that have made a ton of money. If you get the leads, then you are going to make the money. If you do not then you are going to loose $3500. That is why it is really a love hate situation for the members of this program. It is said to be risky, but what program like this isn't?

It may not be the best program to join if you want minimal risk. If you do have the money sitting around and you want to put yourself in the position to make some serious money then True Wealth Today just might be the program you are looking for.<bio>Learn more about Brian Garvin and Jeff West at Internet Marketing Review Kings and MLM Review Kings today.
If you are looking for a true home based internet business, then affiliate marketing may just be the ticket for you. Subsequent to all, if you own your own websites, possibly have editor access to a site where your writing is published, or if you have a pastime that you have dedicated a website just for the enjoyment of it, you may be able to cash in by simply putting a few well placed links on your site. Although it is factual that countless affiliate sponsors will only pay pennies for a completed sale, there are some who will actually part with a lot of cold, hard cash for a new customer! Finding them and bringing them to the sponsor will turn your site into a true home based internet business.

Take for example the credit card company that will pay out more than $100 for a customer who follows your affiliate link invitation to fill out a credit card and is approved, and you can see how quickly and easily the money will accumulate, by changing your website from one that is just operated on a whim or as a hobby into a very serious and very true home based internet business. The trick to earning real money and turning your website into a true home based internet business rather than a site that is filled with banner ads that may be at odds with one another or that might only net you a few pennies is to be selective and creative.

Search carefully the affiliate sponsors who are willing to market, and then go all out marketing them.
The tales in the romance novels are filled with men and women who truly enjoy being with each other and doing little things to show their love and dedication. Many people today think that true romance no longer exists-the woman's liberation movement has killed this forever. But, this is not so.

It is alive and well and being demonstrated every day by people who love each other.

It is true that most men are not overly affectionate in public or in front of the guys, and for them to say "I love you" is a major problem for them. There is a country western song by Toby Keith where he sings about this. The lyrics goes "I'm just a man, that is the way I was made, I'm not good at saying what you need me to say=85..it might go unsaid but it won't go undone."

Thinking hard about what these words mean to you. Men do not display affection the same way that women do, but they are romantic, in their own way. If you are looking for a man who is similar to the ones in the 'chick flicks' you will probably have to wait a long time. Or, if you think that the men in the romance novels are just wonderful, remember they are fictional characters based on the desires and fantasies of the author and the readers.

True romance is shown in the little things that we do for each other. Think back to when he unexpectedly brought you a candy bar that you love, a flower from the yard, a perfume sample from the department store, a toy or gadget from a conference he attended, called you in the middle of the day from work, snuggles up next to you to watch the evening news, or any other little thing he does that shows he is thinking about you.

There are also the bigger things that he does as a husband, lover, and father. He works, takes care of the yard, coaches the kids sports teams, remembers your birthday and anniversary (even the anniversary of when you met, when he proposed, the first kiss) and is always there when needed. Even the look he sends you from across the room can tells you that he is think about you, needs you and wants you-even when this is being said when you have just walked into the room after spending an hour in the flower garden weeding. You are sweaty and he still gives you an adoring look.

Maybe he does not express himself as well as you think he should, but you need to know how he tells you that he loves you-and even adores you. The words of the song say it all "it might go unsaid, but it won't go undone."

Open your eyes to what is right in front of you. Yes, true romance is alive and well if you know where to look for it. <bio>Still looking for the perfect romance?
We all have possibilities we don't know about. We can do things we don't even dream we can do. Dale Carnegie 1888-1955

It really is true. We all are blessed with unlimited possibilities, not just the already most successful or even the most promising among us but all of us. We all have the power to be, do and have more than we ever dreamed of. The only absolute true limitations are the limitations in our own minds.

If you want success in any endeavor one of the best things you can do is to stop arguing for your limitations and start arguing for your success. Don't think about how it can't be done or how it won't happen or why it won't happen but rather think about how it can be done and how it will happen. If you don't believe it, just imagine it to be so. Don't take counsel with your fears but remind yourself and stay in close touch with your dreams and the unlimited possibilities of life.

One of the biggest dream stealers of all is when you won't even allow yourself to want what you really want because you can't see a way for it to happen. Think back on your life. How many times have things happened in your life that were unexpected, that turned out different than you originally thought or planned? Most of the time it happened in an even better way than you ever imagined. You couldn't have orchestrated it better had you planned every second of it with exact detail.

Your dreams are in your heart for a reason. Think about it. There are people doing things you never had any desire to do and there are people doing things you always wanted to do. Not everybody wants the same thing. There is a reason why your dreams are your dreams and someone else's dreams are their dreams. You are granted the power to make the dreams come true when you dare to dream the dream. You just have to find that power, believe in yourself and your dream and go for it.

Even if you don't believe it yet, as you start thinking, talking and focusing only upon your success life will reward you and you will start having some success. Every achievement will build upon the last achievement and soon you will know you are unstoppable and you have the power to make your dreams come true.

It is in you. It is in all of us. We just have to find it for ourselves. Start talking, thinking and focusing on the things that you want and you will attract all of that and more into your life.

Start looking for reasons, excuses, and justifications for believing in the power of possibility. Your life will be better for it. You'll find more Joy and your dreams will come true. <bio>Karen Lynch offers http://www.livethepower.com/blog/ at her inspiring website http://www.livethepower.com </bio>

Are you fed up with your work, don't have any fun doing it? You wish you had more freedom to do what you want? That's because you are compromising your potential and seducing yourself to a working machine, a robot. But don't let the word "work" scare you! Work should be fun, as well as producing revenue for living. That's what you get when you are working a true work of yours. True work makes you happy and gives you a sense of meaning. Have I got your attention? Then let me tell you how you can find your true work. This is a really simple exercise and it works with the frustration.

First, we will try to release some of your current frustration by finding an outlet. Simply imagine yourself doing what you would be doing if you don't have to work. You have all the freedom and resources. Any ideas? Maybe you'd be watching TV all day, knowing no better. Or maybe you'd find yourself at the beach in a tropical island sipping pina colada, with all the hotties in their sexy bikini, then... Oh well, that's okay. Coming from a repressed mind, those are natural answers. Don't feel bad. Just enjoy.

Now, here's the trick. While that kind of fantasies won't get you anywhere, there is a way to work with one further to find meaningful insights. How, you may ask? Simple. Just fastforward your imagination up to the point of a few month or even years of doing that "fun stuff." As you do this, you get increasingly bored, frustrated. Because the need was to release your repression, there is no point in repeating for so long if that need is fulfilled. This will get you REALLY thinking. Bored with the fun, what would you do in search of meaning? The frustration sets you afire. You will begin to see, what your true desire is, and in what way that could be represented in the physical world. Keep on working on that blurred vision, until it solidifies.

Once you have identified your potential true work, you need to start connecting that with realities of your life today. Start learning more about the subject. Read books, watch documentaries, whatever. If it's writing a novel, start writing short stories. If it's becoming a dancer, maybe start taking a dance lesson. It's important to take that essential first step. The key is to envision yourself achieving the goal and to dig from both ends. Rewinding the success and watch through the steps that took you there in the imagination, and actually following what you discover.

When you work your true work, it is no more a forced thing. You'd be doing it anyway even if you didn't have to. It is fun and fulfilling. It also makes other people happy by spreading your happiness, it grows. You get more of what you reinforce. So, do yourself a favor and take that first step. From then on, it should almost be automatic! <bio>Find great resources and more featured articles like this one on Club LoA(http://www.clubloa.info/), the specialized search engine for the Law of Attraction. </bio>

Those who own classic cars know the love, care and attention that go into taking care of these cars. Whether you drive it around or not, it is still a good idea to get classic car insurance that is made special for those who own classic cars. These policies have been available for a long time, but many people do not know about them. You won't get that with classic car insurance. Standard premiums can be at much as 500 percent higher. Why pay that much for such a limited amount of coverage?

There are a few different types of coverage that you have with classic car insurance. There is actual cash value that gives you the book value of the car on a claim, the state value that lets you state the value of the vehicle for coverage, and there is the agreed value that guarantees all of your money back in the event of a total loss. This is the only policy that will not depreciate over the years.

If you are wondering what is considered a collectible vehicle, it may be hard to define. There are many different types of cars that are collected these days, so to find out if your beauty is considered a collectible, you will want to contact a classic car insurance carrier in order to see if your car qualifies for this great insurance.

Finding the Very Best Classic Car Insurance

Before you start hunting for a classic car insurance company for your car, you need to find out first how much the true value of your car is. If your car has some really great history attached to it which can be verified, you can fetch a handsome price on that car.
I thought about this today...What does it mean to be a True Christ Follower? First of all, I do not want this question to lead to us thinking about others, but rather ourselves. I know it is human tendency for us to want to size up the person sitting down the aisle from you, but as Christians we have no place standing in judgment of who is and who isn't a true Christian. That is for God to determine, our opinions are mere speculation because we cannot see the inner heart of a person, only God can judge perfectly.

However, we are responsible for taking a sober look at our own life to determine whether we are a true disciple of Jesus Christ or not...

As far as I understand, being a true Christ follower involves 4 things.....belief, trust, faith, love..... These four things toward Jesus and toward others make us true Christians. So easy right?

It actually is. We make it so much more complicated because we like to earn our way into God's good graces, so many times we set up rules for us to gage ourselves by. But believing, trusting, having faith, loving, are not easily measured. These 4 things are also very intertwined if you think about it. You cannot truly love if you do not trust, you should not believe someone who you don't trust, you do not love someone without some amount of faith because loving involves taking a chance. In some form or fashion these four words are connected, especially when considering Christianity and the Bible. Jesus seems to use them interchangeably in the Gospels as do the other New Testament writers.

Simply put these things are relational. Being a true Christ follower means being in a healthy growing relationship with Jesus Christ and learning to be in healthy growing relationships with the people God has brought into your life. As far as I'm concerned this is the basic foundation of being an authentic Christian. So maybe we should all take a look at ourselves...Are we in a healthy growing relationship with Jesus Christ? Are we growing healthier each day in the relationships and interaction with our friends, families, enemies? If so, than we can rest assured that we are genuine in our faith.

Now some of you may wish to argue the essential Christian doctrine, that to know whether or not you are a Christian is determined by whether or not you have repented of your sins, trusted in the work of Jesus on the cross and been filled by His Holy Spirit. This would be many peoples answer as to whether or not they are true Christ follower or not. I agree. The only problem is that to a person who is not churched or does not know any religious jargon then these things are impossible because they do not know the meaning. On the other hand a simple statement of the fact that one must have a intimate and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ cuts right to the root of what repentance, the cross, and the infilling are all about, relationship. A right relationship.

Does your day to day life back up your claim of being a Christ follower?

I hope that we can all be authentic Christians, and we can all know the redeeming work of Christ on the cross and the blessing of being filled with His presence, but these things are empty beliefs unless we see them practically, being lived out in our day to day life.

The thermometer to gage whether your faith is hot or cold is found by taking an honest look at your personal daily relationship with Christ and those around you.

How would you describe your daily relationship with God and others? <bio>Shawn O'Connor is the creator of http://www.truechristfollower.com a Christian online community.
You will want to make your wedding really special. In fact, you need to make everything in your wedding perfect and unique to this end. Your wedding reception has to be perfect. You would also like to make your wedding favor perfect. However, some people will allow the wedding invitation to be less perfect for some reasons.

There is no doubt the the cost of the wedding invitation will not be very high when it is compared to the price of your wedding dress or wedding reception catering. Consequently, some couples will tend to forget this important item. When they think that the invitations are too expensive, they may go for some cheaper options. They would rather make their wedding dress perfect rather than making the invitation special. It is very true that couples will just sacrifice the wedding invitation when budget is not allowed. Taking a case in Hong Kong for example, a single pre-wedding photos will probably cost a couple about USD45. Yet they will still purchase a hundred photos. They will do it even if it is out of the budget. However, the couples will never do that when it comes to the wedding invitations.

You may wonder when couples will sacrifice the wedding invitation when budget is not allowed. It is true that the wedding cards will set the tone of the wedding. However, a lot of couples will just think that the guests will just throw away the card after the wedding. As a result, they will think that it will be a waste of money to create a unique and special wedding invitation. If this is totally true, an email wedding invitation will be the perfect solution. Yet most couples will still print their own wedding invitations.

In fact, one of the reasons for this phenomenon is that some couples will think that they can design the wedding invitation themselves. Yes it is true that you can create some graphics on your own with your personal computer home.

It is very true that it will be perfect for the couples to design the wedding invitation. However, it seems that they miss the whole point of wedding invitation design when they are trying to creating some computer files. We have to understand that wedding invitation is not only about graphic design. In fact, it is more than a printable computer files.

One thing we need to understand is that a wedding invitation needs not to be a printed card. You can actually make it a sculpture with three dimensional quality. In this case it will not be only a computer file.

If you are trying to create your own wedding card, you should never just create a computer file. You need to create it with your hand. You may need to learn from Japanese Origami and try to create the wedding invitations yourself. You may even use the same method to create the envelop. Only be this way it is meaningful to create your own wedding invitation.<bio>TM Lung designs Personalized Chinese Wedding Invitations. For instance, most people would much rather be happy than sad and most people would much prefer health over sickness.

Yet when one strives to live with an Attitude of Gratitude, the concept of giving and receiving take on new meaning. Being truly grateful for all of the gifts of an abundant Universe means being open to receiving. The true gifts of the Universe are very often not of a material nature but they are more of a more joyous and spiritual nature. The love of our families and friends, the beauty of nature, the joys we find in our work are some of the sweetest gifts we can receive and they are all far from being material items.

Even in our giving of gifts to others we can receive back the gifts of the Universe. Seeing someone else's happiness when they open up the gift we chose especially for them is our gift to be grateful for. Watching the enjoyment of our families and friends as they partake in the holiday we prepared for them is a gift from the Universe to be grateful for. Enjoying the excitement as the children wait for Santa is a gift to be grateful for.

So Giving is a wonderful thing. Receiving is an equally wonderful thing. Be open to give and be open to receive. Giving and Receiving can be the perfect balance-which is also another gift from the Universe.

When you give of yourself, you can't help but receive Joy back. That Joy is your gift. <bio>You can find As A Man Thinketh and other amazing books at Karen Lynch's inspiring website http://www.livethepower.com.
Criticism is difficult to handle. None of us likes to hear the bitter truth about our mistakes and inabilities. But we face Criticism in life everyday and cannot escape it. We also v others so we know that it is a two way street. How to handle Criticism?

What To Do When We are Criticized?

Listen to the criticism and before you react to it, think about your strengths. That will give you positive input and make you ready to face the criticism squarely. Even if it is true that will give you the strength to face and do something about it other than an angry retort. Otherwise we may begin feeling angry and sometimes worthless.

Content of criticism-

Is the criticism true? Or it is misinterpretation of the facts? You may at times set aside your fears and emotions and look at the situation clearly. If need be ask the other person more details and their beliefs. Probably they believe something different than you. Once you talk to them and ask them about what can be done you will be on path to recovery rather than destruction.

The truth-

We criticize others. We believe that to be true. Similarly somebody criticizing us may feel that they are right and the criticism may well be true. What would you do then? What should we logically do when we know that we are weak in something? We should strengthen, right? So rather than worrying about the weakness, make that point strong in your life. Think of ways to improve and do it slowly.

Grudge and what to do about it-

Are you focusing on the person who criticizes you or on the content of the criticism? If you focus on the person your focus will shift to other person's weaknesses and you will strike back with your list of criticisms. Instead focus on the criticism itself. Leave that person aside.

How to Handle Self Criticism?

There is a distinct difference between self criticism and criticism by others. Most of us are too happy to agree with whatever we bash ourselves with but when some body else tells us the same thing we attack right back. If I tell myself that I walk slowly that is Ok, but if my friend tells me the same thing, I take umbrage and tell them that that is not true at all. Why do we look at criticism so differently?

The trouble with this-

The trouble comes in two ways. If some body tells us something that is true we tend not to agree but if we criticise our selves wrongly we are too ready to accept that and go into a bout of depression. Expressions such as - I am no good, I am of no use, I always fail, no body appreciates me and so on are readily heard when some body criticizes oneself. The person believes them all and all efforts of self-help go to waste.

What to do-

If we treat both criticisms differently we will surely be in trouble. What should we do then? Let us look at this in another way to solve the problem. Remove the person who is making criticism from picture and only look at the criticism. Remove yourself or anybody else. That way you will only be paying attention to the criticism and will have no biased view. After this look at the criticism for truth. Is there any truth in this statement? Think logically and let no emotion enter the thoughts. With logic you will be able to analyze the situation clearly. If the criticism is wrong you will conclude that it is wrong and not true and vice versa. If you were to think about this any other way you would have reached a wrong conclusion. <bio>Social network users, go to http://www.wishafriend.com/ac/ for myspace comments and http://www.wishafriend.com/graphics/ for myspace graphics.
Most humans spend their entire life in pursuit of happiness, but many never stand a chance of finding true happiness. So what is the reason that so many people are not happy? What is the secret to happiness? There are actually three important roadblocks to our personal happiness.

The first, and most critical, hurdle to finding true happiness is that we do not know ourselves. The real secret to happiness is knowing what is important to you personally. The simple truth is that there is not one universal path to happiness because every person is different and has different dreams and needs. While for one person creating something might be the path to happiness for another person it might be nurturing others. However, we are too often focused on the wrong goals because we listen to popular culture or other people. If we spend the time and energy to really concentrate on our dreams, and shut out the distractions, then we can find the key to unlocking our own happiness.

Another roadblock in our pursuit of happiness is giving too much power to things that do not matter. I have a friend who obsesses over having a clean house and making sure her family is clean and neat whenever they leave home. She gripes about how much time these obsessions take away from her time with her family. I am the opposite. While I do wish my house was cleaner I decided when my son was born that when I was old I would not look back and regret having a messy house but that I would regret not spending time with my child. While cleaning is on my priority list, it always falls below my child and when he is old and gray I am confident he will remember that as well as I do. Too often we spend a lot of time and energy focused on things that do not matter in the long run. Letting the dishes sit in the sink one night while you play a game with your child or pursue a hobby you love will contribute more to your happiness than making sure you do those dishes and then missing out on the life you love.

The final critical element that blocks true happiness for many people is not giving the things that make us happy enough weight in our life. Too often we dwell on the things we do not have--the bigger house, the newer car, the better job--rather than what we already have that makes us happy--the significant relationships, the happy home, the rewarding career. The next time you feel unhappy make a list of all that is going right in your life. Chances are that list is a lot longer than you thought and simply reviewing it will make you feel better.

The pursuit of happiness should be a lifelong journey but the path to finding true happiness can be rewarding and enjoyable if we remember to know ourselves, let go of the things that do not matter, and remember the things that do. <bio>Learn more about the Pursuit of Happiness and Finding True Happiness at http://smilesbydawggone.com where you can download a free ebook about Happiness </bio>

In order to feel good about themselves, most compare themselves to others, compete and try to win in all areas of their life. They do not realize, however, that this often can be an expression of aggression towards others, and ultimately also towards themselves. When they win this way, it's not true winning.

When we want to be better than others, we are also driven to make sure they remain beneath us. We do what we can to keep them in their place, and look for their failings and weaknesses. We may also take pleasure in their hardships and losses. When famous people fall from their pedestal and suffer, many feel relief that they are not so much better after all.

How We Compare Ourselves To Others

Some are not able to relate at all to others who they feel are "better than them." They fill their worlds with those who they feel are inferior, (and treat them that way, to keep them in their place.) Some are drawn to those who they think are better than them, and spend a lot of time trying to tear the person down. Others become members of sports team and take great relish in beating the others, proving that they are "best".

Living this way, one becomes unable to see the beauty and gifts which each person has and which they could otherwise share with you. This keeps you on edge, looking for ways you can maintain your superiority. Relationships become power struggles. There is little fulfillment, or true sense of self worth.

Pride Vs. Self Worth

Pride creates a grandiose, false sense of self and causes the person to close themselves off to many situations, possibilities, insights and relationships. Pride also causes them to be out of touch with true self worth, who they truly are, what really brings happiness.

A true sense of self worth, on the other hand, provides enjoyment when dealing with all kinds of individuals. With true self worth you do not need to compare yourself to others, tear them apart or feel superior. Instead, you are able to value who they are and share you both of your gifts. As Emerson wisely said, a rose in the garden does not compare itself with another. It just blooms as it is intended to.

Exercise

Step 1: Recognizing The Many Faces Of Pride

Make a list of those you feel better than. Who are they? Why are you better than them?

A)Make a list of those you feel are better than you. Who are they? How does this make you feel? How do you behave with them?

This exercise will surprise you. Be honest with yourself. You may also be astonished to see how many people you've written out of your life.

Step 2: Stop Comparing

A) Pick someone on your list that you feel better than. Write down all their positive qualities. Now, stop comparing yourself to this person. Let them be who they are. Let you be who you are, as well. Enjoy the differences between you.

B)Do the same with someone you think is better than you. Can you allow both of you to have positive qualities though they may be different? Can you stop comparing in this case as well?

Step 3: A New Meeting

A)Contact the person you feel better than and go out with them to lunch. Make the meeting all about them. Don't talk much. Really find out about them. Give them a chance to be the star.

Do the same with someone who feels they are better than you. You'll be amazed to discover how much others crave being heard and known, how shaky they are about who they are. As you do this you'll see that you don't have to tear others down to feel good about yourself.

Step 4: Each One Is The Best One

As soon as you notice yourself feeling better than another, let it go and let them be the star. Realize that both of you can be wonderful. As soon as you notice that you feel someone else is better than you, do the same. Look for their good qualities and yours as well. Find out more about them. Talk to them about themselves and really listen. Let the true person they are emerge. Don't buy into a fantasy. It won't do you any good. <bio>Resolve conflict easily in award winning The Anger Diet,(30 Days to Stress Free Living)http://www.theangerdiet.com.
Contrary to what most people think, writing involves more than stringing words together to form a coherent thought. Anybody can write, but only a chosen few can be real writers. Writing is an art, a craft that must be honed and perfected before true accomplishment is met. It is a skill that has been around for thousands of years and those who have it possess true power in their hands.

The True Writer

Any writer can make a well-loved monarch look bad or a criminal look good, but a true writer can write about anyone or anything without prejudice and without judgment. He or she can write about Colibri pocket watches just as well as he or she can write praises dedicated to the Taj Mahal. Indeed, no subject is too mundane and no person is too unimportant for a true writer. He or she writes the truth as he or she sees fit and can spin tales around Colibri pocket watches to spellbind even the most skeptical reader. Such is the power of a great writer.

Writing Right

To write and to be great at it, you need more than a computer or a pen and paper. You need more than skill and talent. Like all great endeavors, determination and tenacity is needed.

A writer must have the patience to do painstaking research in the pursuit of truth or accuracy. It doesn't matter if you are writing about the President of the United States or Colibri pocket watches. You have to do your research and gather the facts. There is nothing more disgraceful than an erroneous report or a fabricated statement, even for something as seemingly innocent as Colibri pocket watches.

If you want to be a writer, you have to write the right way, and the way to do that is to persevere to know the truth, stick to those truths, and be ready to substantiate those truths. You must be free of prejudice and supposition and know that ego is your folly.

Appreciating Criticism

As a writer, you have to know that you won't please everyone. No matter how proud you are of the piece you wrote on Colibri pocket watches or of your dissertation on the works of James Joyce, you have to accept that there will always be people who will criticize you. Know that all criticisms are constructive and you can learn many things from them. Remember that the world is constantly changing and there is much to be learned in every single instance.

Going For It

With all these in mind, you're well on your way to being a part of the freedom of expression at its very best. If you have a story to tell, pick up a pen and write it. If you have something to say or a message to deliver, get those fingers working and start typing. Most importantly, don't be afraid to put your work out there. Remember that you'll never know your true worth as a writer until you've been read. <bio>Who says telling time has to be boring?
Since online dating is the order of the day, it is not so surprising to read an online dating story about couples who have been lucky (even about those of some who has not been so lucky in love) to find true love in cyberspace.

A number of successful online dating story plague the net. Several couples made online testimonies on how they met and how they ended up together. The online dating stories vary. These online dating stories serve as inspiration for those who are on the look-out for Mr. or Ms. Right to continue their quest for love online. Online dating stories from people from all walks of life who turned to the cyberspace for a chance at finding love abounds. Online dating story tells of people's experiences on cyberlove.

Some online dating stories ended successful some were not so lucky. For those who have been unfortunate enough to lose their cyberlove in the online dating story had learned to accept the finality of the situation. Online dating story for those who fell in love has more or less similar elements to it. First, the getting to know you stage. Some people in online dating story deliberately accessed online dating sites in the hope of finding their true love. Others came to online dating purely by chance. As the online dating story progressed, mere acquaintance blossomed to friendship. Others in online dating story felt love at first sight. Some online dating story takes years to unravel. And others' online dating story takes only weeks or months. What is common among the online dating story is the feeling of attachment or instant connection with the other person. The bond is unmistakable as obvious in most online dating story. The couple due to the distance and differences in culture or lifestyles often has to contend with various obstacles in their online dating story. Of course, no online dating story would be complete without an appropriate ending. Some online dating stories were strong enough to withstand obstacles. Others were not fortunate to end in marital bliss.

But whatever the outcome maybe what matters is that in the end, they had come to learn that in cyberspace as much as in real life, true love does exist. And true love in online dating stories knows no boundaries. The online dating stories are but one of the reason why online dating is becoming such a phenomenon. Each online dating story is a proof beyond doubt of the internet's efficacy. <bio>Become a master at the art of seduction with the tips found at http://www.bettersexguru.com..
Many times when it comes to discovering your passion and what it is that you truly want, we become caught up. Caught up in our heads as to what it is that we think we should be doing or what our parents told us we should do with our lives.

My Mom (like many others) wanted me to become a doctor. Wasn't she surprised?

Finding your true passion may not be what you think. Most people feel that they have to "do" something or "attain" something in order for them to find their true path. Consider the possibility for just a moment that you don't have to "do" anything at all.

Nada. Zip. Zilch.

I know. But hear me out for a moment.

Just like you don't have to try to hear. Just like you don't have to try to see. you don't have to try to be what you already are.

If what you are doing feels like you have to effort at it, then you are meeting resistance and could be getting in your own way.

I'm offering a free 6 part email course entitled, Discover Your True Passion.

My goal is to help you move your mind in the direction of discovering for yourself what it is that you want to do in life.

The material that I cover in this course is what I cover with my coaching clients. Using my psychic abilities and The Sedona Method, I have been swamped with emails asking me, "What if I don't know what I want? Is that a bad thing?"

Most people are scared because they can't figure out what it is that they want to do. I say, "It's okay! Give yourself a break." And the rest of my response is this course.

During this 6 part series you will learn: *Why what you are doing now doesn't work *Why it's okay that you don't know what you want *What thoughts you have control over *How to effectively phrase your goal statements *The way you sabotage yourself without even knowing it

Sign up today and receive a free meditation audio program from my SpiritSpeak series.

To sign up for this course, just sign up pasting the link below in the "to" field in your email program: discoverpassion@bobbyspiritspeak.com <bio>Bobby Marchesso is a psychic medium who has helped thousands to move past their limitations using The Sedona Method and his intuitive abilities.
