If you have never played online or cyber Bingo as it is also called, then you are truly in for a treat the first time you log on. When you play live or traditional Bingo, you probably go to a physical location or Bingo hall to purchase your tickets. Now, if you play cyber Bingo, all you have to do is log into a Bingo website, and go from there. You purchase your tickets through the website, rather than a physical location, which is great for those of us who like to stay at home in our jammies as much as possible!

Cyber Bingo cards vary, depending on the particular type of Bingo you plan to play. Prices vary as well, so you may want to do your homework before you jump into the first online Bingo site you find and start buying tickets.

Most cyber Bingo cards are similar to traditional cards that you are likely already familiar with. They have 25 numbered squares five across and five down in each row, with the middle square being the free-space.

If you are playing a patterned cyber Bingo game, you will have to pay special attention to the pattern, so that you will know to call Bingo if you get it on your card. There are thousands of Bingo patterns out there, and most change from game to game, particularly with cyber Bingo.

Each time a number is called that matches a number on your card; you will need check it off, just as you would in traditional Bingo. If you are playing multiple cards, it can be difficult to check them all and mark off numbers to keep from getting behind, so you might want to start off with just two cards, and then as you become more comfortable with cyber Bingo, start playing more cards at once.

Just like in traditional Bingo, cyber Bingo uses the numbers 1-75, and once you get used to the computer software required to run the games, you will be off to a good start. Learning the software really isn't that difficult, especially for someone who is computer literate.

With cyber Bingo, not only do you get to play your favorite game and gamble a little, you get to meet and make good friends as well. You may even talk to people who live in other parts of the world, and that wouldn't have been possible without the technology of the internet. <bio>If you are looking for the biggest jackpot on the net, please visit this online bingo page http://www.squidoo.com/online-bingo-reviews/. </bio>

When deciding upon what credit card is the best for you, don't rule out secured credit cards. In fact, many people are finding secured credit cards to be the best option. Some people choose a secured credit card when they have had credit problems in the past, and obtaining a traditional credit card would be difficult if not impossible. Secured credit cards are great options for teaching your teenagers and college students about responsible financial spending. Secured credit cards help control your spending, since you must have the money before you can make a purchase, unlike a traditional credit card that you don't have to have the money to back up your purchases.

So, you may be asking why bother with a credit card at all, if you have to have the cash available to fund your secured credit card. In our modern times, it is becoming increasingly difficult to do certain things without having access to a credit card. Have you ever tried renting a car or purchasing an airplane ticket without a credit card? Ever tried booking a hotel room without a credit card?

Secured credit cards work in the same manner as a checking account debit card, however, there is no actual checking or savings account associated with the card. You make a deposit to the company that issues the secured credit card, and that becomes your spending limit. When you have made purchases that reach the amount of money you deposited, you have to deposit more money in order to continue using the card.

Advantages of using a secured credit card, other than the obvious advantage of not spending more money than you actually have, include the fact that almost anyone is eligible to obtain a secured credit card. Regardless of your personal financial history and credit score, you can make a deposit with a secured card distributor and obtain a credit card. The only actual requirement to be approved for a secured card is you must be of legal age and have money to deposit on the card.

Other advantages of a secured credit card versus a traditional credit card are that you are not charged an annual percentage rate on the amount that you deposit, and you can have your paycheck deposited directly onto a secured credit card in many instances. A traditional credit card will smother you with interest rates, late fees and finance charges over time, and you'll end up paying two to three times what you've actually charged to the card! With a secured card, you know exactly how much you're paying for an item. Secured cards allow you to make purchases online when you would not be able to if you didn't have a traditional credit card.

The main disadvantage to using a secured credit card in place of a traditional credit card is the fact that you have to have the money in advance for any purchase you want to make. While this is an advantage when considering your credit score and the perfect way to avoid getting into debt too deep for you to handle, it is also a disadvantage in the event of an emergency situation. If your car breaks, or your home's furnace dies and you don't have the cash available, a traditional credit card would come in handy. Perhaps without ever using traditional credit cards however, you will be able to save enough money to cover emergency instances and not need to rely on credit to bail yourself out of the emergency situation.

Secured credit cards may be the best option for your credit card needs. They allow you to travel conveniently, make purchases by phone or the internet, and without the dangers of falling into financial desperation! <bio>This article has been provided courtesy of creditor web, http://www.creditorweb.com . </bio>

In Hong Kong, couples will think that traditional wedding cards are something old fashioned, in red color with golden hot stamping. Besides, all these traditional invitation cards are all provided by a few printing companies and all of them look alike. They would like to make their wedding as unique as possible and as a result they will have a perception that it will not be a good idea to choose wedding invitations with traditional designs.

Virtually, the alternative choice for the traditional invitation cards is invitations with what people in Hong Kong called western style (in fact I will define that as Hong Kong style). They are usually white in color, which is a great contrast to the traditional red color. However, white color in China usually means death. As a result, the parents of the couples may not like this kind of wedding invitations since these cards touch the taboos of Chinese people.

In fact, the choice of wedding invitation can result in disagreement between the couple and the parents. There was a couple who wanted to order the western style wedding invitation. And as a consequence they ordered them from a print shop and after they got everything printed, they found that their parents did not like the invitation designs very much.

The couple was really in a dilemma since they did not even think about the problem of white color wedding invitations. And finally they had to order everything again. This time what they order is the red color design in order to satisfy the requirements by their parents.

In fact couples are not reluctant to use the red color wedding invitation designs. They do not find the color an obstacle. The main problem is the design of these traditional cards. The cards are not properly designed. Indeed the companies which provide such wedding cards are print shops rather than designers. We have to admit that the interest of a designer and a print shop will be very different. The help of professional designers will be needed in order to make the traditional red color wedding cards more elegant.

As a graphic designer myself, I do not see anything wrong with the red color and golden hot stamping. They are only a choice of color and printing technique at the end of the day. In fact I am an advocate of traditional elements. However, we should manipulate the design elements wisely so that we do not copy what the print shop did in the past. For example, we can introduce Chinese paper cut patterns into the wedding invitations to make the invitation cards more elegant.

From my point of view, the print shops should work hand in hand with professional designers to redefine a new generation of Chinese wedding invitations. We should try to design the wedding invitations in a way that it is on one hand in line with the Chinese tradition and on the other hand has their own merits. Modern designs today can become traditional designs tomorrow. We need to constantly define and redefine our modern designs such that unique Chinese wedding invitations can be made. <bio>TM Lung is a wedding invitation designer. These companies often charge outrageous interest rates and fees to cardholders in return for a credit line.

So does this mean that you shouldn't apply for a bad credit card? Absolutely not.

These cards, if used responsibly, can help you reestablish a history of making payments and boost your credit card history. Just remember that the fees can really add up, so avoid carrying a large balance from month to month.

There are other options available to those with bad credit such as prepaid credit cards and secured creditcards. As with bad credit credit cards, these are more expensive to the cardholder than traditional cards but they can help improve your credit rating and offer you the convenience of carrying a credit card, despite the fact that your credit history is blemished.

If you have fallen on hard times and have messed up your credit history, it's not the end of the world. Using methods such as these can help you restore your credit history over time and get you back on track with the credit bureaus.

Sure, you're going to pay a price for getting a second chance with higher than normal fees. However, if you're careful by limiting your spending and paying off your outstanding credit card balances each month, the high interest won't be a factor for you.

Hopefully this article has given you some ideas for ways to rebuild your credit with bad credit credit cards. Used wisely, these cards can be a great way to get back into good standing with the credit card agencies. <bio>To learn more, visit the Credit Card Forum at http://www.TheCreditCardForums.com/ today.
Advantages: free, user friendly, lots of cards to choose from Disadvantages: some cards are a bit too mushy and cute

In the age of the internet, e-cards have quickly replaced the traditional paper greeting cards as the means of greeting others or simply telling them you care. There are numerous websites offering electronic greeting cards but I have to say that 123 Greetings (<a href="http://www.123greetings.com">http://www.123greetings.com) is one of the best out there. For one thing, it is totally free! Many other sites offer e-cards but only several of their selections are free. You need to subscribe in order to have access to the more attractive ones they have. With 123 Greetings, you can choose whatever you want and not worry about having to pay for it.

Even though everything is free, it doesn't mean that you get cards with bad taste. In fact, most of the e-cards available are very attractive. They have a very wide range of selections that cater to every taste and preference there is. The site offers different types of greetings for almost any occasion there is. Birthdays, holidays, and even everyday cards, you can find them all here.

A big plus for this site is that they find something to celebrate for each day! Who ever heard of Fast Food Day? Rubber Eraser Day, anyone? This concept certainly adds spice and fun to anyone's average boring day.

The homepage has an extensive list of links for the categories they offer. The page design is pleasing to eyes and easy to navigate. Cards for relevant holidays and events are placed in such a way that the user sees them without any problems. Still don't see the card that you want? You can search for them using keywords in the upper left corner of the page. You will then be presented with a wide array of e-cards that match your search words.

The page and the cards do not take too much time to load so you will not be frustrated with waiting. You can customize each card to suit your taste. Fonts are changeable and so is the background. You can even change the music if you want to. For your reference, a copy of your card can be sent to you and you can choose to be notified when the recipient views the card.

On the downside, many of the designs are on the cute, mushy side. If your personality is a bit darker than most, you might not want to choose e-cards from 123 Greetings. <bio>For more information please visit http://www.444.net.. </bio>

Each day a large number of individuals consider getting a credit card. If credit cards are not properly used they can be dangerous and costly. That is why it is important to find the perfect credit card. When trying to find the prefect credit card, there are many individuals who wonder what type of credit card they should get. The best way to find a good credit card is to know the different types of credit cards that are available.

The most common type of credit card is a standard credit card. Standard credit cards are ones that are used by individuals with good or average credit. Many times they are not used for any particular purpose other than just to have a credit card. The two most common features found on a standard credit card include low introductory interest rates and balance transfers.

Debt is becoming a problem all around the world, but even debt ridden individuals need to have access to a credit card. Credit cards designed for individuals with poor credit are often termed as specialty credit cards. Specialty credit cards may have more fees and restrictions than standard credit cards. In addition poor credit cards, credit cards that are designed especially for college students are often termed as specially credit cards.

Reward cards are gaining popularity in today's society. Reward cards are credit cards that offer rewards or incentives for card users. The most common rewards include airline miles and cash back. The rewards offered will all depend on the credit card company in question. Additional rewards could include clothing, food, gasoline, and more.

Business credit cards are just as popular as standard credit cards. The difference between the two is that business credit cards are used for business purchases instead of personal purchases. Sometimes business credit cards are also referred to as specialty cards, but many times business credit cards receive their own heading or title. It is possible to find a business credit card that is similar to a rewards card. These cards are likely to offer incentives to business owners who use their credit cards to make certain purchases.

Prepaid credit cards are another one of the popular types of credit cards. These cards are used the same way as traditional credit cards when making purchases. The only difference is that a credit line is not given. Instead of a credit line, the amount of money available to use on a prepaid credit card will all depend on how much money was put on that card. Prepaid credit cards are most commonly used by teenagers and adults who are in the process of recovering from debt.

The above mentioned types of credit cards are offered by a large number of different credit card companies. With different types of credit cards available it may be difficult for you to choose the perfect card for your needs. To determine which credit card fits your needs you should examine the use of each card and then apply it to your needs to see if they match. <bio>James Mahony is the founder of Credit Card Information - A site dedicated to Credit Card Information http://www.guaranteedapprovedcreditcards.com http://www.creditcardapprovals.com http://www.articlesforwebsitecontent.com </bio>

In today's world, having a credit card is a luxury. Credit cards are a great convenience, meaning that you don't need to worry about cash when making a purchase. Although some credit cards have strict requirements, there are a lot of manufacturers that are giving both high school and college students the chance to get their own credit cards. Student credit cards can be used the same way as a traditional credit card, although they do come with certain restrictions and limitations that other credit cards don't normally have.

A lot of companies and banks that offer student credit cards will normally need a co-signer as a form of insurance or collateral. This person will sign on the loan with the student, and will be the person the company falls back on if the student is unable to pay the bill.

Normally a parent or guardian, the co-signer is considered to be back up and a peace of mind for the issuer of the student credit card, as they can always count on the co-signer with good credit to pay if the student can't.

Normally, the APR or interest rate is higher with student credit cards, which helps to minimize the risk for the company. The spending limit is also different with these credit cards, as most are between 250 - 800 dollars.

The reason for this, is because most students have established any credit, and therefore won't have a great credit rating. Although the spending limit is obviously lower with these cards than other credit cards, they will still help students establish credit.

Students who plan to make a large purchase, can greatly benefit from using student credit cards. To make large purchases, you'll need good credit - which is where a student credit card can really help out. You can use these credit cards as a stepping stone to building credit, and establishing a good credit rating.
Many banks and companies which offer student credit cards require the student to have a co-signer as their form of collateral or insurance. The co-signer must sign off on the credit card. If for whatever reason the student cannot make his or her payments; it would then fall on the co-signer to make the payments. Normally, a guardian or parent is the co-signer. They give the credit card companies piece of mind, that even if the student does not follow through with paying for debt, the co-signer will.

Student credit cards often come with a higher interest rate or APR. This helps to reduce the risk the bank or company takes by issuing a credit card to a student. Often times, the spending limit is considerably less than more traditional credit cards. They average spending limit is between $250-$800. The reason for this is that most students have not established any type of credit, therefore they will not have a good credit rating.

When a student is planning on making a large purchase, he or she can greatly benefit from a student credit card. In order to make a large purchase, you generally need good credit. This is where a student credit card comes into play. You can use the credit card to establish good credit and as a stepping stone to building credit in general. By achieving a high credit rating using your credit card, when the time comes that you need a larger loan, changes are you will have a much easier time obtaining one.

Another great benefit to student credit cards, are they give the students a sense of responsibility. Even though the spending limit is considerably less, they work like most other credit cards. After the student has mastered using the credit card, they can then manage their overall money better. These types of credit cards are an excellent opportunity for the students to learn money skills that will last them a lifetime.

With all of the great benefits of student credit cards, they can still be dangerous, just like more traditional credit cards. Students can still fall into the pitfall of overspending. If the student racks up more credit card debt than they are able to pay, this will have a negative affect on their credit rating. If the debt falls on the co-signer, it could then affect their credit rating as well. Therefore, it is essential that students all have a budget in place before using any credit card.

Overall, student credit cards are a great thing to have. For college students and high school students, such cards are a great way to learn responsibility, as well as the sense of freedom. They can be useful during an emergency, which could be reason enough to obtain one. If your daughter or son is in school, you may want to consider a student credit card. They can not only help establish their credit, they can teach them many life lessons. <bio>Nick Makaryk is an Internet Publisher, Copywriter, and Founder of http://www.creditcardcredit.net helping others with updated Credit Card Information and Resources visit online Today! Giving collectors a chance to see the stats and pictures of their favorite players, baseball cards have come a long way in the past decade.

As some collectors grew weary of the traditional baseball card format, the card companies needed to find a niche that would help boost the excitement of their product. They found exactly that through the use of numerous advancements in the trading card field. Now that the baseball card companies see that their buyers like the thrill of chance when it comes to getting specialized rare cards, there are numerous sought-after types of cards available. For instance, one of the industry's top companies, Topps, has found a host of ways to keep collectors interested. In their latest set of cards, they've offered up the opportunity to get cards that are signed by the players that they represent, giving you an exciting sense of possibility every time that you can open a pack. Also, they've begun to place actual pieces of game memorabilia within the cards. You may end up opening a pack and getting a piece of fabric directly from the jersey of one of your favorite players, or even a chip of their bat.

With all of these opportunities for hungry collectors, baseball cards are in more demand then ever. The specialized memorabilia cards feature extremely limited print runs, allowing for a high value to be assessed for the unique cards. Some of the more unique cards for the best players may fetch upwards of hundreds of dollars. And the game-used memorabilia cards don't necessarily have to come from players that played the year the cards were printed - if you get lucky, you may find yourself with a piece of a bat used by Joe DiMaggio! That can add a very interesting prospect to sports card collecting - it's almost like buying a lottery ticket! Sure, some of the cards may cost more by-the-pack, but it's clearly worth it to have such an exciting chance to get close to your sports idols. <bio>Kadence Buchanan writes articles for http://baseballstuff.net/ - In addition, Kadence also writes articles for http://everythingaboutgames.net/ and http://worldofautomotives.com/ </bio>

In the early nineteenth century, Chinese laborers introduced the game while working in California.

The game's popularity with Chinese gamblers eventually attracted the attention of entrepreneurial gamers who substituted the traditional tiles with cards and modeled the game into a new form of poker. Introduced into the poker rooms of California in 1986, the game's immediate acceptance and popularity with Asian poker players drew the attention of Nevada's casino operators who quickly absorbed the game into their own poker rooms. The popularity of the game has continued into the 21st century.

Pai Gow tables accommodate up to six players and a dealer. Differentiating from traditional poker, all players play against the dealer and not against each other.

In a counterclockwise rotation, each player is dealt seven face down cards by the dealer. Forty-nine cards are dealt, including the dealer's seven cards.

Each player and the dealer must form two poker hands: a high hand of five cards and a low hand of two cards. The hands are based on traditional poker rankings and as such, a two card hand of two aces would be the highest possible hand of two cards. A five aces hand would be the highest five card hand. How do you get five aces in a standard fifty-two card deck? You are actually playing with a fifty-three card deck since one joker is allowed into the game. The joker is considered a wild card and can be used as another ace or to complete a straight or flush.

The highest two hands win each game and only a single player having the two highest hands simultaneously can win.

A dice throw from a cup containing three dice determines who will be dealt the first hand. After the hands are dealt, players must form the two poker hands, keeping in mind that the five-card hand must always rank higher than the two-card hand.

When all players have set their hands, the dealer will make comparisons with his or her hand rank for payouts. If a player has one hand higher in rank than the dealer's but a lower second hand, this is considered a tie.

If the dealer beats both hands, the player loses. In the case of both player's hands and both dealer's hands being identical, the dealer wins. In casino play, ofttimes allowances are made for a player to become the dealer. In this case, the player must have the funds for any payoffs due winning players. Of course, the player acting as dealer can corner some large pots if he can beat most of the players.

Some casinos rule that players cannot deal or bank two consecutive hands, and some poker rooms will offer to co-bank 50/50 with any player that elects to take the bank. In all cases, the dealer will ask players in turn if they wish to be the banker.

In Pai Gow Poker, you are dealt "static" cards which means you have no opportunity to change cards to possibly improve your hand. However, as in traditional five-card draw, there are strategies to make the best of what you have been dealt. An example is keeping the flushes or straights in the five-card hand and the two cards remaining as the second high hand.

If you are lucky enough to draw four aces and a joker, you can keep three aces in the five-card hand and strengthen your two-card hand with the other ace and joker. Two pair? Keep the higher pair in the five-card hand and the other two matching cards will make up the second hand. <bio>Kenneth Bateman writes numerous articles on the subject of poker.
For about twenty years, banks and financial institutions have figured out that appealing to people's hearts is the way to get them to open their wallets. Affinity credit cards have a charity logo as well as the issuer's logo; each time the card is used to make a payment, balance transfer or withdraw cash from an ATM, the bank donates a percentage of the amount of the transaction to the charity.

Will You Need Donations After Using a Charity Credit Card?

The concept of the affinity credit card (otherwise known as charity credit cards) is great: every time you make a purchase you had to make anyway, you can use you credit card and donate to charity. Finally, you can feel good about using your plastic to make your purchases! But is it worth it?

Most of the charity credit cards offer miniscule donations in comparison to the amount of interest the cardholders are required to pay, and most of the time- they charge fairly high annual fees. If using the charity card to donate $6 a year to the homeless leaves you needing donations yourself, it may not be such a good idea to use the charity credit card no matter how warm and fuzzy it makes you feel inside!

The average donation given from affinity cards to charity is about .05 percent. So for every dollar, a half a penny is donated. What does that come out to be? A $100 purchase made with an affinity card translates into 50 cents donation to the charity affiliated with the credit card. If you spend $100 a month on your credit card, you're looking at about $6 a year in donations. If you're paying 21 percent interest each month on your payments, and a hefty annual fee to the card issuer, it's hard to get excited about your contribution to charity!

Additionally, charity credit cards don't usually provide the same perks that traditional credit cards offer. You'd be hard pressed to find a charity card that offers cash back, travel accident insurance, or extended warranty coverage- all extra items that are becoming more common on traditional credit cards.

High Spenders and No Balances

If you are one of the few, however, that spend a lot of money on a regular basis using credit cards, and pay off the balance in full on a monthly basis to avoid most of the interest and fees, an affinity card may be a reasonable option for you to make regular donations to charity.

Another thing to keep in mind when considering affinity cards for donation purposes, is that donations and contributions made through the use of a credit card are not tax-deductible since the donation is actually a contract agreement between the card issuer and the charity- and not from your pocket.

Popular Affinity Credit Cards

Despite the fact that individuals pay higher interest rates and annual fees when they use charity credit cards, and that cardholders of charity cards receive fewer perks than traditional credit cards- these credit cards are very popular. Target's credit card has donated over 19 million to Take Charge of Education, an organization that provides scholarships to students and teachers. This particular charity credit card allows the cardholder to designate the school in which their 1 percent donations are sent to- making the card extremely popular with families with children in grades k-12.

Competition is Fierce

The credit card industry is a highly competitive one, with banks and card issuers literally trying to out-best one another in hopes of retaining and attracting new cardholders. Credit issuers love affinity cards because the cardholders are often very loyal- keeping their credit cards and using them often because they believe in the cause they are donating to. <bio>This article has been provided courtesy of Creditor Web, http://www.creditorweb.com . </bio>

Tarot come and go into and out of fashion. Despite being at least over 500 years old, if the tarot cards, as we know the deck, are an Italian 14th century invention, tarot cards are popular again. We might live in an age of immediate access to digital knowledge yet still, people question what the future holds for them. Since there isn't a machine that can time travel yet, people continue to resort to the age old art of divination for answers to their questions about past, present and future events.

Historically, only the most wealthy patrons could commission an artist to create a deck of tarot cards. The artists wold painstakingly draw and paint the images onto the card surfaces Some of the designs are very intricate and ornate.

Artists continue to create tarot cards today. Nowadays, if you want to purchase a deck of tarot cards, you could find hundreds of different tarot decks available around the world. There are tarot decks based on actual historic tarot decks from different periods and countries. A buyer can find tarot decks to suit his or her budget, aesthetic taste, beliefs and values.

There are many types of artwork available on the different decks of tarot cards such as painted, drawn and computer generated. There are handmade, hand painted and printed. The tarot deck has evolved as artists have added their own touches that can have different meanings from other artists decks of cards. These artist's touches can give different meanings to that particular deck that are different from other tarot card decks.

Many artists have drawn a deck of tarot decks with different themes. Angels, animals, avatars, the cosmos, Egypt, Voodoo and writers are just some of the themes that artists use for tarot decks. It is possible to collect tarot cards of one theme and still have different decks to use. Writers for the tarot card deck have introduced the idea of having only one word imprinted on each card instead of the traditional pictures that are interpreted for their meaning.

Although, fortune telling and divination are the more well known uses for tarot cards, tarot cards have many purposes. People buy tarot cards for their effect as an interpretive tool for life events. A person may randomly choose one card for the day and meditate upon its meaning for that day. Te tarot card deck has developed developed into a popular tool for visualizing ideas and events. Apart from their self help and divination purposes, people also just collect tarot cards for the diversity of the artwork.

For using tarot card reading on a personal level, many people decide on the Rider-Waite deck of tarot cards as their first deck. As a traditional first choice, the Rider-Waite deck is supported by much literature for meaning, use and a variety of card spreads. The artwork is simple, compelling and it is easy to develop an intuitive meaning for each of the cards.

All tarot decks come with an card interpretation guide and instructions.
People have to start their financial learning at some point in their lives, and this usually starts when they are children or young teenagers. But what sort of financial products are good for teenagers, if anything at all? One on hand you need to teach them the value of money, but on the other hand they need some form of card or cash in order to start being independent. If you are unsure what type is right for your children, then here is some advice on credit cards for teenagers.

Stay away from normal credit

If you have a child, then you should really stay away from traditional credit cards, because these types of cards do not promote responsible spending. Although a credit card would allow a child to make mistakes about spending and learn from them, simply giving them a line of credit will probably end in disaster. You have no way of stopping them from spending the whole limit in one go, and they are putting you and themselves in debt.

Prepaid cards

Despite normal credit cards being a bad idea, there is a new type of card on the market that is being targeted at children. These cards are known as prepaid cards, and have most of the facilities of a credit card; except that you put money on the card in the same way you put money on a mobile phone. Instead of giving your child a credit card, you can put a certain amount of money on the card each week or month and then the child can use the card as they see fit.

Benefits of prepaid cards

The main benefit of a prepaid card is that it combines the freedom of having a card with the ability to control spending. This makes it ideal for parents who want to give their children a level of financial responsibility but still have the means to control the amount they spend and on what. By having a card with a statement, the parent can see exactly what their child is spending their money on and when. This is a very useful tool in helping to educate children on money expenditure. Also, prepaid cards are safer than having your child carry around cash, plus it also allows them to make purchases online.

Drawbacks of prepaid cards

Although many believe these cards are better for children than other financial products, there are still question marks over whether they are a good idea. Although they are touted as helping children to learn about finance, this can be done in other ways apart from giving out a card. Also, keeping track of spending is not always easy, as some of the cards allow cash withdrawals, meaning that they could spend their money on anything. Also, there is the danger that parents will put too much money on the cards, which will have the opposite effect on teaching children about money and simply make them believe they can spend what they like. Also, there are fees involved in these cards, such as an application fee and top up fees. Although these cards might be good for some families, you should think carefully about the benefits and drawbacks before deciding on whether or not you want your child to have such a card. <bio>Peter Kenny is a writer for creditcards-gb Please visit us at http://www.creditcards-gb.co.uk and http://www.thriftyscot.co.uk/Credit-Cards/ </bio>

What makes credit card offers online different are the interest rates you pay or annual fees that are applied to each offer. We no longer have to wait to get offers in the mail, anyone with a computer and an Internet connection has the opportunity to apply for a credit card offer online.

The ways to apply for credit card offers online vary. You can always apply for credit card offers through the traditional sources like banks and credit card service companies. However there have also been recent changes in the industry that allows you to apply for some non traditional sources, such as direct deposit banks and secured credit cards.

Applying for a credit card offer online can open the doors for many people who have either never considered having credit cards, or have not been as exposed to these offers prior to being online. Since the advent of credit card offers online, now more people are able to take advantage of all the great benefits that come with having a credit card.

The market for applying for credit card offers online has grown exponentially which has given the consumer the advantage of being able to shop around for the best rates and incentives before committing to one company or offer. More people are now able to use credit cards and are taking full advantage of the opportunities. With acceptance of credit cards at millions of locations worldwide, the use of credit cards has become very universal. You can travel the world and use your card at ATM machines and retail establishments just as you would here in the US.

Applying for credit card offers online also allows those with credit ratings that are bellow standard to either build or rebuild their credit. Some may have to start with higher interest cards, since they are more likely to approve your credit. The best rates are usually reserved for those with A+ credit scores, however with patience and persistence, applying for credit card offers online can pay off. With so much competition, you can really end up with some fantastic rates and no annual fees as well as some incentives that will provide you travel points and other such rewards that are now routinely offered with most credit card offers online.

There is also another side to applying for credit card offers online; all the offers out there are not from legitimate companies. Identity theft is on the rise and some of these fraudulent transactions are being perpetrated by people posing as some of the legitimate companies, and simply collecting innocent people's data on their sites. Also once they have your information they too can apply for credit card offers online in your name, so we all have to be a little more careful with our information and be diligent with what we are doing online.

Recently there have also been reports of underage children applying for credit card offers online and getting lines of credit that some adults would love to have. People have even gone as far as applying for credit card offers online for their pets and in some cases have been given credit cards.

However applying for credit card offers online is a very convenient and for the most part safe way for us to get credit. The credit card companies want us to have as many avenues as we can to apply for credit cards, so they too are trying to ensure that applying for credit card offers online remains a safe and viable means for all of us to get credit cards. <bio>Mario Churchill is a freelance author and has written over 200 articles on various subjects.
It's hard to get away from using a credit card these days. If you want to travel, you must have a credit card to reserve a hotel room. Renting a car? It takes a credit card. Want to get a membership at the new video rental store? Present your credit card, please.

For those with bad or challenged credit, life can be tough without a credit card. Secured credit cards can help to bridge this gap for those without credit or with damaged credit.

A secured credit card works like this: you deposit a set amount into an account (usually between $300 and $500) and that becomes your credit limit. Your deposit, in essence, "secures" the credit card. If you don't pay, your money becomes the issuing credit card company's security against default.

After you have established good credit, you can increase the credit line by depositing more money, or the credit card company might extend you more credit without an additional deposit.

Secured credit cards can be an excellent choice for many people, but there are a few things to know:

* Almost all secured credit cards have an annual fee. But these fees can vary greatly from one issuing company to another. Shop around.

* Many banks no longer offer secured credit cards, but often credit unions do. If you want to go this route, you can open an account at many credit unions for as little as $5 and then look into the secured credit card there.

* Most issuing companies will require that you pay the balance in full each month. They don't take your payment due from the money you have deposited =96 you must send a payment just as you would for a traditional credit card. These are usually not revolving credit accounts.

If you think a secured credit card is the right thing for you, there are some dos and don'ts to consider. First, the dos:

* DO shop around. Not all offers are the same. Don't take the first offer that appears in your mailbox. Do your own research.

* DO look into getting a secured credit card with a higher balance if that's what you need. In other words, if you have $3,000 to deposit, find an issuing company that will allow you to deposit that much to start so your limit will be higher.

* DO make sure this is the best option for you. If you have never had credit before, or you have severely damaged credit, this might be the only option. But if you think you can get a traditional card, that's a better option.

* DO read all the fine print. Every single word. Some companies charge so many fees, your small $300 deposit might be eaten up in fees before you can ever use the card. Some require you to purchase insurance, for $50 or more a month. But many companies don't do these things and those are the companies you're looking for. Do your research and get the best deal for you.

Although secured credit cards are a good option for many people, there are some don't considerations. These include:

* DON'T be casual about this credit card. If you have damaged credit, using a secured credit card is an excellent way to re-establish your good credit rating. If you have never had credit, this is a way to establish credit so you can acquire traditional credit later.

* DON'T try to go over your limit (or deposit amount). Not only will the charge not go through, but it will be a mark against you. Keep careful records each month you use the card so you know you're not charging right up against the credit limit. <bio>This article has been provided courtesy of Creditor Web, http://www.creditorweb.com </bio>

Most bingo lovers know that there is more to the game than meets the eye. Bingo games are anything but boring -- there are many different types of bingo games players can choose from. With online bingo becoming more and more popular, there are now even more types of bingo games than ever before.

In the United States the traditional bingo game is played with 75 balls, and in the United Kingdom it is played with 90 balls. The most common types of games are free games and pay-to-play games. At free bingo sites players can play for free, they do not have to deposit and they can win bonus money. At some free sites, players can even win real money! Pay-to-play bingo sites are also very popular because players can win huge amounts of money. To play pay-to-play bingo games, players have to deposit regularly to fund their accounts. Some sites offer both a free play and a pay-to-play version of their games.

The traditional, or regular, bingo game is probably the most common type of game. For this game, bingo cards have five horizontal rows and five vertical columns, which make a total of 25 numbers per card. In the traditional game, players have to match a line of five numbers, horizontal, vertical or diagonal, to win. The numbers are called by a person called the caller. Players have to mark off the number on their cards that corresponds with the number called.

The other widely used type of bingo game is the blackout pattern game. In this game players have to mark off all the numbers on their cards to win bingo.

Some of the more familiar bingo patterns are the x-pattern and the four corner pattern where players have to mark off the number in each corner of the card to win bingo. Other common bingo games are progressive and combination games. Speed bingo is also very popular. In this game numbers are read at a high speed and players have to mark their cards at an equally high speed.

Fortunately with the boom of the online bingo industry, many sites offer games with fun and interesting patterns. Some sites have bingo cards that match the game's skins or room themes. Other fun card patterns are patterns that are unique to the promotions the site offers.

Not all types of bingo games are played in casinos or at websites. Besides the traditional numbered cards, there are many types of bingo games for kids. Some of the popular games for kids are maths and alphabet bingo. By playing these games, children experience learning as a fun activity.

Other types of bingo games are baby or bridal shower bingo. Usually players have to match all kinds of baby or bridal items to the words on their cards. These games are great icebreakers and lots of fun.

As online bingo become more popular, more types of games are being created. This will help increase the already high excitement in regards to the bingo game. <bio>Emma Madison has been an online bingo fanatic for over 7 years.
Greeting cards started out as simple slips of papyrus, that were exchanged by both the Egyptians and Chinese as messages of goodwill. As the concept of greeting cards evolved, Europeans began to send them to one another for holidays such as Valentine's Day -- and this occurred as early as the 1400's. Of course, these cards were handmade and expensive so not everyone could afford to send greeting cards for their holiday well-wishes.

Greeting cards really hit the mainstream in the 1850's, when commercial printing as well as the invention of the postage stamp started to allow people all over the world to send greeting cards to their loved ones. Now, greeting cards are a billion dollar business, with people purchasing and sending cards for holidays including religious celebrations, birthdays, and even just as a simple thank you or gesture of love. The two largest greeting card companies, Hallmark and American Greetings, offer cards that are perfect for any occasion, with themes and illustrations that are great for all tastes.

Of course, you don't need to buy your greeting cards in a store. Computers and home printers have made it easy to create and print out your own cards at home. Many people have also taken up paper crafts, and have taken to hand making their own greeting cards out of many different materials, with embellishments ranging from ribbons to beads. Some even go as far as to make their own paper, which is a time consuming process but definitely shows your recipient just how much you care. Hand painting and rubber stamping with ink can complete your homemade creation.

Greeting cards have evolved from an item used only by the rich to an everyday tradition. Whether you want to communicate with far-off relatives, or just let your sweetie know how much you love them -- greeting cards make a great (and inexpensive) way to brighten up someone's day! <bio>Get Birthday Cards and Greeting Cards. http://www.sharpcards.com/ </bio>

In today's world, image truly is everything. You really do only have one chance to make a first impression. Therefore, when it comes to selecting and purchasing items that will reflect on your business, it is very important to take the time to choose items which will show the quality of your company. One example of this is picking cards for your business. Whether you need to create business cards for your company, membership cards for your clients or identification cards for your employees, you want to make sure that you purchase the highest quality cards.

Of all the materials that are available for creating ID, business or membership cards, none can match the look and quality of PVC plastic cards. Ranging from 0.010 to 0.030 (which is the thickness of a standard credit card) mil in thickness, these high quality plastic cards come in a wide variety of colors (such as red, green, blue and pink). Because there are many different options for printing these types of cards, there are several different types of plastic cards that you can choose from depending on your specific needs.

Blank graphic quality plastic cards for thermal printers can be used with virtually any plastic card dye sublimation thermal printer, including Fargo and Eltron thermal printers. If you have over five thousand cards to print, you will probably want to go with Litho printed cards. Even for large runs, Litho printed cards can be completed in approximately fifteen days. For smaller runs with great quality, silkscreened plastic cards can be a great option.

In addition to these options, you may also choose to go with short run color process litho printed or non-graphic plastic cards. Once again, your final decision ultimately depends on your specific goals and needs. However, regardless of which specific option you choose, you can purchase quality plastic cards for as little as fifty-two dollars per one thousand cards. <bio>To find the best available deals on a variety of different plastic cards, be sure to visit http://www.compucardinc.com </bio>

I have never been too keen on collecting things. I am sort of a simple guy at heart, so I love having only what I need. I have one running collection, however, that only seems to get bigger as the years go on. Sports cards. I really love gathering, trading and owning sports cards.

My love for sports cards began as a young child. My dad would reward me with sports cards when I did well at my chores or when I studied well for school. It was one of the only rewards he offered, and it quickly became the only reward that I was interested in. I remember the joy of buying my first binder to hold my sports cards in. I had saved my allowance for a couple of months and could finally buy the special sports cards holder that I had been looking at in the sports cards store.

As I got older, I phased in and out of looking for new sports cards, but I continually cherished my sports cards collections and I spent many hours of free time looking at them and memorizing everything I could about them. Some of my brothers and my friends made fun of me for loving my collection of sports cards so much, but I didn't care. I collected cards from baseball and basketball players mostly, but I've got small collections of cards from a variety of players.

When I had my own children, I could hardly wait to begin sharing my love for sports cards with my sons. I bought them sports cards within a week of their births and I continued to start small collections of cards with them. As they have gotten older, they have truly started to love sports cards like I do. Some of our best times together and our best conversations are surrounding our collections. No one else seems to understand their value quite like we do.

Once a year I take my three sons to a huge exhibition that is focused solely on sports cards. We bring our big binders and we make purchases and trades all weekend long. It is our favorite weekend of the year. We have a great time together and I love that I have something in common with my sons. They love asking my advice about particular trades and purchases, and I love giving my advice to them about sports cards.

It is never too late to start a collection of sports cards. It is a fun hobby that will keep you entertained for years to come. <bio>Triston Huntsmin is a father and a car dealer that loves to collect sports cards in his free time.
Christmas is a time of year that we all enjoy. But, Christmas can also be a stressful time. There are so many things to do! Thank goodness, most stores will gift-wrap for you!

One little job that can be hectic is sending Christmas cards. If you are "organized" like me, you probably have your little list that you pull out each year. People move and addresses change, and the simple task of sending a tiny card in the mail can become a monster!

This is why many people have started sending e-cards. Like e-mail and e-everything-else nowadays, e-cards are sent through the internet, rather than by the old "snail mail."

You simply choose the card you like, and send it from your e-mail account to another. You don't need to spend all that time writing addresses and buying stamps and so forth. And, it's easy to manage your Christmas card list because you can keep it all on your e-mail account, updated and ready to go!

Now, some people might think that sending e-cards is somewhat impersonal. Getting the mail is half the fun, right? Actually, the ease and convenience of e-cards means that you can send MORE Christmas cards. I send e-cards to acquaintances and co-workers who I otherwise might not send a Christmas card to.

I send regular Christmas cards from the store to my family and close friends, and for everyone else I send e-cards. This way I can send a Christmas greeting to everyone!

Besides all that, you can personalize your e-card. There are sites all over the Web where you can find e-cards that are ready-to-send. They allow you to write your own messages, choose a font you like, and some even let you put your own pictures on them.

The Internet offers us many easy ways to keep in touch with the ones we love. E-cards are a quick, convenient and cost-effective way to send your seasons' greetings! <bio>Check out our Christmas Cards at http://www.sharpcards.com/ </bio>
