In one of the latest analysis of relocation trends of the people in the United States, it has been found that Americans continue to move towards western and southeast states.

According to migration trend analysis by United Van Lines, America's largest mover, Americans continue to gravitate toward the West and Southeast and away from the Northeast and Midwest. The company has been tracking moving trends since 1977 and has about 30 percent of the market for moving household goods. The recent analysis is based on an extended study of 227,254 moves handled by United Van Lines in 2006. The analysis looked at both inbound and outbound moves in the states.

North Carolina emerged as the top state with the highest inbound migration. Of the total volume of moves in the state in 2006, 64 percent were those that were heading into the state. Oregon was at second position with 62.5 percent of moves that were heading into the state. South Carolina followed next with 60.6 percent of inbound moves in 2006. Rounding out the top five states that had the highest inbound migration were Nevada and Idaho with 59.9 percent and 59.3 percent inbound moves respectively.

It is not surprising that out of the top 10 states with inbound migration, 8 were from the Southeast or West. The District of Columbia and South Dakota with an inbound migration of 57.9 percent and 55.9 percent respectively, were the two exceptions that made it into the top ten list dominated by Western and Southeastern states.

Even California, one of the few Western states with moves leaving the state, had the lowest percentage of outbound migration in four years at 52.4 percent.

States that had the highest percentage of outbound moves in the country were all from Eastern and Midwestern regions. An exception was Louisiana, which is yet to recover from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, with the 7th highest outbound migration at 56.4 percent. Michigan and North Dakota had the maximum number of outbound migration with 66 percent of moves outbound. Missouri had 51.8 percent of moves that were outbound. In Kansas, 50.5 percent of moves were inbound.

Although the results do not through light on the reasons for the migration patterns, United Van Lines' study assumes significance for real estate firms and other financial institutions.

If you are considering relocating to another state, be sure to seek out the services of a local real estate agent to guide you through the process of buying or renting a home or condo in your new destination. <bio>http://www.sandiegocondos.name http://www.rancho-bernardo-home.com http://www.powayrealestate.info </bio>

Practicing ballet is great not only for your body, but also for your mind. It teaches you discipline and determination.

Here is a great ballet move that also doubles as a great leg workout. Ever wonder how those ballerinas have such great legs?

Grand Plie

To do a grand plie, which is one of the most graceful ballet moves, you will begin at the barre. You want your back facing the bar, and one arm resting out on the barre.

You want your feet to be together at the heels, toes pointing away from each other. The further you can point your toes the better.

If you can't do it completely, where your feet are completely pointing away from each other, don't worry. With all ballet moves, practice makes perfect.

Next, you will perform the grand plie by allowing yourself to bend your knees slowly. While you bend your knees, your arm that is not on the barre, will move slowly up until it is straight out and in line with your shoulder.

You can let your elbow on that arm drop some, so that the movement is fluid and elegant. You want to sink all the way down, keeping your heels together, until your thighs and calves are touching each other.

You want to be in a complete squat. You will hold that position, and then allow yourself to come back up, arm going back down.

You should give the illusion that you are floating, and after practicing ballet moves such as this one, you will be able to perform it in one smooth movement. Here are some tips that you should pay attention to before you attempt to do ballet moves.

Make sure that you stretch completely before you start. You don't want to pull a muscle or injure yourself.

Warm up as well, with some type of exercise that gets you loosened up and ready for ballet. Jumping jacks, running in place and things like this are good warming up exercises. You can do it if you practice and stay motivated.

Keep practicing these ballet moves and before you know it, you will have the Grand Plie down perfect. You will also have much stronger legs to boot.
For many people they find the tactics and strategy of chess play very complicated, even computers are unable to work out the best strategy against every situation in a game of chess. As there are literally millions of different possibilities involved in each game of chess it is impossible for us to evaluate them all.

Over the years chess strategy has gradually been getting more advanced and the Chess Masters who write books about their various strategies will eventually influence the next generation of chess players to come along. It also means that being able to observe a particular player's strategy can often make it easier for other players to work out how to beat them, despite them not knowing much about the game of chess itself.

Whilst the more advanced chess play strategies and tactics can take some one years even a life time to learn and in fact you will soon discover it is pretty much impossible to learn everything about the game of chess. However, below are 2 of the more basic moves which should help get you started.

Generally the most common move made in any game of chess is to ensure that you pin the other player's pieces. What we mean by pinning is that you use one of your pieces to stop your opponent from one of theirs and thus allowing you to take one of their more important pieces such as the Rook or Queen. Certainly a more skilled chess player will be able to easily stop you from moving anywhere and thus controlling not only their side of the board but yours as well.

Then there is the skewer move which is very similar to the pin move, but only the other way around. So the more important piece (Rook or Queen) is at the front and the less important one is behind. Although it looks as though you are moving your most important piece into the line of fire you have actually in reality got it covered. Thus if your opponent decides to take your important piece they will then leave their most important piece open to be taken by your less important one. Because of this your opponent will be forced to move their more important piece out of the line of fine and leaving their weaker ones that are behind open to attack. <bio>Lee Dobbins writes for http://chess-moves.info where you can learn more about chess and see diagrams of chess moves. </bio>

Fortunately, there are plenty of skilled and experienced Tai Chi teachers in America and there are a few Tai Chi masters here in the US as well but you may have to do a little homework to find one of them. The good news is that you don't have to study from a Tai Chi master to get benefits. A basically skilled teacher as described in this article will suffice. The bad news is that if you study from some one who does not have at least the basic Tai Chi skills, some of which are listed in this article, then you are learning something from someone who may do you more harm than good.

One of the things that I really hope I have been able to accomplish with this article is to educate people about how much more there is to Tai Chi than just the form (moves). The moves are an important beginning part of Tai Chi training and it is necessary to learn at least a few moves but the art and its legendary benefits particularly regarding health and healing are not possible without an instructor who really knows the art, way beyond the moves.

Also, the real Tai Chi instruction starts at the beginning of training and does not somehow magically begin after several years of time during which only the moves have been learned. The real Tai Chi instruction begins on the first day and the moves help a person to understand, work and apply Tai Chi. Only an authentic and at least basically skilled teacher can do this.

This article has presented only the most basic criteria required for a beginning Tai Chi instructor. A Tai Chi Master has much greater and more depth of knowledge than what is presented here. Anyone teaching just the moves with a little bit of philosophy thrown in is a Tai Chi beginner at best and at worst an outright fraud. Without the rest of the information particularly the internal aspects of the art Tai Chi is nothing more than fancy choreography which is fine, if that is what you are after, but if you want real Tai Chi then take the time to do a little reading, searching, visiting and question asking. The rewards of Tai Chi are worth way more than the little bit of time investment that I am recommending here. The people I really feel bad for are those who began taking Tai Chi classes without doing their homework and who have now spent years studying Tai Chi wondering when the real benefits that they were told about will happen for them. Much better to spend the time to visit and check out a few instructors now than to figure out several years to late that an instructor you assumed was legitimate (because they knew some choreography) simply did not have more than the external form movements and that you have wasted years of time trying to learn Tai Chi from someone who simply does not know it.

Good luck in your search and research. Please contact us and let us know if we can be of any help or guidance.

Sincerely,

Sigung/Sifu
Richard Clear<bio>Sigung Richard Clear has over 30 years of continuous study in Tai Chi and Chi Kung both in the U.S. and China. http://www.clearstaichi.com</bio>

Klondike Solitaire, or simply Solitaire, is the classic solitaire game. Klondike is probably the best known solitaire game in the world. The rules of this game are known to almost everyone.

Not all games of Klondike Solitaire are solvable. Playing Klondike game involves a lot of guesswork and it is the main reason why you do not win the vast majority of the games.

This article covers some strategy tips that that could be helpful for improving your win/loss ratio.

1. Turn up the first card off the deck before making any other moves. It increases the initial number of possible moves and gives you the opportunity to make a better choice.

2. Always move an Ace or Deuce to the foundation whenever it is possible. This rule seems to be clear and logical and does not need any further explanation.

3. Expose hidden cards. If you have a choice from several possible moves that expose hidden cards, choose column with the largest number of hidden cards.

4. Hold off the moves that are not important. The best move is one that provides you with opportunity to make other moves or expose hidden cards.

5. Do not empty a tableau pile if you do not have a King to put it in. You gain nothing if you get an empty pile. A space in Klondike solitaire can only be filled by a King or a sequence starting with a King, so leave your options open.

6. If you have a choice between a black King and a red King to fill a space with, be cautious in your decision. Look at the color of the blocking cards and make the appropriate color choice. For example, if you have a red Jack that blocks some hidden cards, you have to select a red King and than wait for a black Queen.

There are two basic ways to deal cards from the stock in this game: player deals either the cards at a time, or only one card is dealt at a time. The recommendations given above are applicable to both variations. The only difference for the "deal three at a time" variation is that you have to pay close attention to the order of the cards in the order of cards in the deck. Some people suggest dealing all the cards to the waste pile once without making any moves and remember the order of the cards in the deck.

If you play computerized version of Klondike, you can use the unlimited undo function as many times as you want to try different choices and to maximize your chances of winning. <bio>Boris Sandberg is a developer of the BVS Solitaire Collection, a set of about 400 different solitaire card games, including Spider Solitaire.
Using a trailing stop in your stock trading is a handy way to protect your profits as well as limit your losses. One of the obvious and best advantages of using a trailing stop is that it's possible to limit your losses if the market starts to move against your current position. It is also possible that your gains can be limitless.

The trailing stop gets its name, because it is dynamic, it trails the movement of the stock price as the stock moves in your direction. Let's say for instance you've purchased a hundred shares of XYZ company for $50 a share. Let's further say that you have decided that you will limit your losses to two dollars and that this will be the size of your trailing stop. If the market immediately moves against you, then all 100 shares will be sold at the stock price of $48 and your loss at this point will be two dollars times 100 shares or $200.

Now let's examine the different scenario. Let's examine a scenario that we would actually love to see happen. Let's say the price of the stock goes in our favor, and then goes to $55 per share. At this point the trailing stop would move from $48 per share to $53 per share. Now if the market moves from the current price of $55 per share to $53 per share, then, we are fortunate to have locked in a profit of three dollars per share, times 100 shares for a profit of $300. We were able to profit even though the market did not continue to move in our direction at the time.

Like any other tool in your stock trading toolbox trailing stop orders have their place and their uses. The real objective, of course, is to preserve profits as the market moves in your direction. The trailing stop order may not be perfect for each and every stock transaction that you make, but it has tremendous flexibility when used correctly. <bio>Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro you'll discover the best Stock Trading tips, tricks, and techniques as well as valuable resources and information at http://www.tradingknowhow.com .
Jujitsu training is one way to learn complete body control while fine-tuning your balance and reflexive actions. Jujitsu is form of martial arts that originated from the Samurai and is essential to hand to hand combat.

Jujitsu means the Gentle Art and are said to be based on many Oriental legends. When using Jujitsu, you use your opponent's energy against him. There are some weapons in the traditional version such as the Katana and the spear.

However, we will not be focusing on these types.

Jujitsu is designed to take your opponent to the floor, and finish it with either a locked grip or thrown away from you. In Jujitsu Training, you will cover this and many more important moves.

When training using Jujitsu, you need to have a trained partner, who can point out what you are doing right and where you need to improve. He or she needs to allow you to complete the move before pointing out what you did wrong. Also, your partner should not let you get frustrated or worn out only doing one move, but rotate with other ones as well.

After you follow through the attack, you need to move over to one side and not back away from him. If you choose to follow through with a punch or jab then you can give yourself time to plant your feet properly.

Your breathing needs to controlled and shallow, when you practice any martial arts moves. If you end up having to perform a kick after your attack, then you will find that you have the proper lung capacity to follow through.

As with any sparring, you are there to avoid being hit while throwing the least number of moves, but also the most effective. If you end up having to use your sparring moves for self-defense, then you need to focus only on the Vital Points and not play around with fancy moves that get you hurt or worse. Remember to keep your body and mind going through the motions while never allowing your body to show the fear you might be feeling at the time.

In Jujitsu training, you will learn moves such as grappling, throws, joint locks, chokes and various type of holds. You will also learn proper striking methods, kicking, punches, knees and elbows as well. With Jujitsu, you will learn how to move from one of these techniques to another, and then another until you defeat your opponent.

When looking into learning Jujitsu training, you need to pay close attention to which form you are interested. Many of these forms are not intended for a beginner and should only be practiced with a professional, generally at the studio. <bio>Yoshi I Kundagawa is a freelance journalist.
If you are looking for a great way to tone down and address all those problem areas, then look no further than advanced Winsor Pilates to fill all your fitness needs. Winsor Pilates offers one of the most aggressive muscle sculpting and body shaping programs available on the market today. The advanced Pilates workout gets you even closer to your overall fitness goals without leaving you behind in the process.

These exercises are designed for those who have at least an intermediate level of experience with the Winsor Pilates system and a decent understanding of the seven basic moves involved in Palates. This program builds upon the basic moves and makes them subsequently more challenging. The instructions in the video are clear, concise, and easy to understand but they do not go into details about the basics as those following these routines are expected to have a clear understanding of the basic moves. Therefore this particular video is not recommended to newcomers to Pilates. This video is also designed for those with a fairly active lifestyle and not those who engage in little physical activity on a daily basis.

This is a much faster paced workout than the traditional and beginners workout and is designed with achieving maximum results in mind. If you want accelerated sculpting, this is the video for you. It contains 28 exercises with diversified reps and blended tempos in order to keep things interesting. This provides a very challenging 52-minute workout even for those who are advanced in their Pilates studies.

In addition to a greatly accelerated pace and diversified reps, this video has you spending a good deal of time on your stomach rather than on your back. The first two videos designed for those with beginning and intermediate skills did not have you exercising on your stomach so this is a new twist. The movements in this accelerated video are too numerous to detail a few of the moves are Pilates 100, Roll-Up, Roll Over, Crisscross, Saw, Neck Roll, Little Piece of Heaven, Open Leg Rocker, Corkscrew, and Jack Knife (which is considered one of the most challenging advanced Pilates move). While they do build upon the basics, they also build off the moves that are once removed from the basics. Breathing is still a vitally important component of the entire process and you will have a much more intense reaction physically to this workout than previous workouts. The goal of course is achieving excellent results with this workout. Once you've mastered the moves on this video, you can truly call yourself a Pilate's goddess. <bio>Keep your New Years Resolution and get the body you want.
Most people with an ounce of talent in dance will never realize it. There is one hurdle, one major obstacle which will stop most in their tracks. Even the most ambitious and enthusiastic to start with won't be able to pass it. It can discourage the most enthusiastic and make fools out of otherwise cool people. What it is I'm talking about...it's the first dance class.

My word, what a freak show! You'll watch some MTV video, realize you can pull off a few of the moves and that you're pretty good. Then wham, you go to a dance class that seems to be teaching the hardest routine in the world, and wham! It'll knock the balls out of most people from ever going again!

I'd love to say this is an exaggeration but it's not. Most people who walk into a dance studio will only walk through it once. Statistics will back me up. If you watch the first-timers in a dance class, you'll find that half of them you'll never ever see again. Which is a great shame, because a lot of them probably had enough talent to pull off the same routine that frightened the hell out of them...with a bit of practice of course.

Learning to dance is I've found as much to do with the attitude as it is with what you're body can to. Everyone has the same body, the same neurology that can be taught the same things. But it's attitude that makes the difference.

A lot of people who are otherwise comfortable doing most things, who will easily get up and give presentations in meetings, who'll ride the theme park rollercoasters that seem to start on the Moon, will be terrified of being in a room full of people learning to dance. You can try and entice them with all the Diet Coke in the world and they'll still hunch up like a little mouse.

The 2 things that'll sound the death bell for a first-timer are:

1. The worry that comes with looking like a fool 2. Ridiculously high expectations

You see, the thing that most dance studios don't tell you is that when a dance class is described as 'beginner' it doesn't mean that a beginner can easily cope in the class. It means that once you can pull off the routines at beginner standard you will be at a good level of dancing and can progress to harder classes. So a 'beginner class' for a beginner is actually very hard.

And you certainly shouldn't expect to be pulling it off first time. No one does at their first attempt! So what should a beginner do? Firstly accept that you are in a dance class to learn and yes, you may look like a fool to begin with, but believe me, everyone including the experts in class has been through this experience, and know what it's like.

And secondly, take your time learning and go in with no expectations. Be like a child. If a child learns one new word a day, that's a good day's learning. If you go to dance class and can only do one or two moves, that's a good day's learning too. Because all the learning you do is cumulative and will add up to an impressive skill. If you learn 2 moves a day and do 2 classes a week, that's 4 moves a week and 16 moves a month. In a year that's nearly 200 moves, or 200 different combinations =96 and that's a lot. SO think of the bigger picture.

Most of all have fun when you're dancing. After all, you should only be doing it if you enjoy it and want to learn badly enough. The more you enjoy it, the more relaxed and calm you'll be and this is the perfect state to learn in, in the warm, humid atmosphere of the dance class. <bio>Kevin Shwe runs the Hip Dance Moves classes.
Ever wondered what makes great soccer moves actually great? Is it their quickness, is it the outstanding ball control that the dribbler needs to possess in order to pull them off, or is it simply seeing the look on the poor defender's face when he gets his ankles twisted by the move?

I'll tell you what makes them great: it's the countless hours that those outstanding dribblers out there put in their practice that allow them to perform seemingly impossible moves with the ease of a rabbit hopping uphill. If you ever dreamt of being able to perform such great soccer moves, you'll have to work hard to get them. And you can do so with the help of the following step by step soccer moves guide.

> Step by Step Soccer Moves =96 The Stepover and Double Stepover

This move has an affinity for players named Ronaldo (or is it vice-versa, I can't remember), since both of today's popular Ronaldos, the Brazilian striker =96 Nazario da Lima =96 and the Portuguese winger =96 Cristiano =96 tend to use it as their trademark move. It's one of the advanced soccer moves you'll be practicing, so don't expect it to be snap-easy to master. Here's how to perform the stepover, step by step (don't worry, it takes fewer steps to perform it than the amount of steps in this sentence):

Step 1 =96 Get the ball close to your feet and have it slowly move forward, towards the direction you're facing.

Step 2 =96 With your left foot, hover over the ball in a circular motion and plant it on the left side of the ball.

Step 3 =96 With the other foot, cut the ball to the right and go past your opponent.

Notes: Obviously, you can switch feet, I just used left first and right for the cut for clearer explanation purposes. If you want to perform a double stepover, or a triple stepover, instead of cutting with the base foot, you can use it to hover over the ball again and so forth.

> Step by Step Soccer Moves =96 The Sweep

Another advanced soccer move that won't be easy to master, but then again you're not here for your average stop and go. This move is extremely spectacular and at the same time effective. It can be used to great effect on the wings, or in the center of the park, to get past your direct opponent. It's harder to perform on the edge of the penalty area, or inside it, because it's a lot more crowed there.

This great soccer move doesn't really have a player that you could say branded it, although Robbie Van Persie of Arsenal recently scored a magnificent goal in a match against Internazionale Milano with the help of a sweep dribble. But here's the step by step on it:

Step 1 =96 Position yourself as you would pass the ball or shoot, with your base foot closer to the ball.

Step 2 =96 With your other foot, simulate a pass or shot.

Step 3 =96 When your faking foot reaches the ball, drag it along sideways, opposite of your base foot.

Notes: This is so efficient because the opponent will not know if you pass, shoot or dribble until you have already performed the dribble. For this to be completely effective, make sure you sweep the ball across in Step 3, not kick it in that direction, as dragging it gives you some precious time.

These advanced soccer moves are still quite situational, because you'll need to have your opponents at a certain distance and position. For general purposes, a few easier dribbles such as the V-move, the stop and go or the fake shot will probably work better, but if you can pull off any of the advanced soccer moves above, you're bound to get a standing ovation and possibly an assist or a goal, because they're very surprising. <bio>Niv Orlian is the author and the owner of http://www.soccer-fans-info.com, a website that provides information on various topics related to soccer.
No one is nearly as relaxed as we would like to be. Relaxation is not something that is unattainable. When it comes to our bodies, our stress levels and our ability to enjoy life, there are a number of different things that we can do to take control. Yoga stretching exercises are one of the greatest tools we can use to help us lower our stress level so that we are able to calm down. Hundreds of thousands of people across the globe use Yoga stretching exercises for one reason or another. It does not matter whether you are using it as a way to focus and direct your spiritual energy or to simply get yourself grounded before you start your day.

Yoga stretching exercises are low-impact ways to make sure that your whole body is awakened. You will go through a gentle series of prescribed moves that you will perfect and refine every day. In Yoga, there is no competition. The only person whose progress you are supposed to be watching is your own. You will find that with a little bit of work, you will be able to get your morning started with just a few simple moves. One of the best parts about Yoga is that it is infinitely variable. You can perform it as a series of slow, segmented movements, or you can speed it up and keep it consistent in order to get your heart rate up and keep it up.

When you are getting started with your Yoga stretching exercises, remember that just like any exercise, you should start small and build up in intensity. There are some moves that should simply not be tried until you have gone through a series of simpler moves. Luckily, Yoga stretching exercises are cumulative. If you are just getting started, you will build up your practice on a firm foundation of simple moves that will grow in difficulty and complexity. Do not be concerned if you have issues like an old back injury or weak knees; there are a number of different ways to proceed through each movement, and you will find that with a little bit of work, you will be able to find the variation that works for you.

One of the most important benefits of Yoga stretching exercises is that you will learn how to breathe. The breathing you do in Yoga, like everything else, is very deliberate and controlled. You will inhale with some positions, as in the "upward facing dog", and you will exhale with other positions, like cat. When you learn to breathe appropriately in situations like this, you will find that your breathing in general becomes more controlled and that you will find yourself with a great deal more energy.

If you are looking for a way to feel more energized and add more pep to your life, you may very well be able to do so with Yoga stretching exercises. Open your mind up to the idea that this ancient art can help you in a very modern context.
Volatility Is The Key To Day Trading

Successful day trading requires the ability to spot trends and patterns quickly, and act on them. It's tough to know which stocks to watch, but once you have learned the skill, you will be ahead of the game.

You should maintain a "watch list". These are a cross section of stocks that you keep an eye on. Many stocks have recognizable patterns, and with a little experience at watching the same group of stocks, many traders can make educated guesses about whether the stock is about to move up or down. Most day traders, at least the successful ones, make trades from their watch list.

There are several criteria for choosing stocks for your watch list!

Probably the most important is liquidity. I always look for stocks that trade at least 250K shares daily. If the stock isn't trading well, you may have trouble selling when you need to get out. If you can't sell the stock, you're obviously not going to make any money. I would rather trade stocks that are moving over 1M shares a day, but certainly never less that 250K. If the stock is too thinly traded, the market makers can manipulate the price too easily.

You will also want to look at volatility. Volatility is the rate at which the price of a security moves up or down. A $20 dollar stock that moves up or down by $5 in a day would be considered highly volatile. Large price swings are where knowledgeable day traders make money, and others lose money. In my opinion this is one of the most important criteria. Good stocks, at least from a day trading perspective, are volatile. Day traders make money when the price moves dramatically over a day, or a few days.

Avoid high dividend stocks. We are not in this for the long term, so the dividend is irrelevant, and these stocks tend to have high prices and low volatility. There is certainly nothing wrong with dividend paying stocks, but they should be part of a long term investment strategy, not a trading medium.

Big board stocks can have high volatility and large price swings. But measured by percentage, nothing has the volatility (and risk) of pinksheet stocks or "penny stocks". These low priced stocks trade for under a dollar, and at times can have huge volume. Some stocks make moves of as much as 100%-200% or more IN A DAY. There is obviously a tremendous amount of risk here. But you can start out with only a few hundred dollars. As long as you pick well, you can actually make money. I know people who make their entire living from trading (mostly) penny stock.

Put together a list of 30 =96 50 stocks, get to know everything about them. What market factors affect their movement. What news items cause them to move up or down. This is your stock farm, cultivate it. Once you know what moves your stocks, you will be able to trade like a pro. <bio>Chuck Hoskins is a frequent contributor to http://www.TheArticleShare.com. </bio>

Shaolin Kung Fu is one of the most popular and respected martial arts because of its history and realistic applications. However, Shaolin Kung Fu is very complicated and has a lot of moves to learn. Using a Shaolin training DVD can help a practicing martial artist learn the moves and techniques in their own home and have the movements captured on video to be seen again and again. It is hard to pick up moves from only a few demonstrations, and a teacher rarely has enough free time to live with you and show you techniques any time you wish. With a Shaolin training DVD you can review techniques and movements until you have them down.

Shaolin Kung Fu is an External form of Chinese Kung Fu. This means that it deals with the hands, the feet, the body, the eyes, and the stances. It is practical, and physical. The Internal forms of Chinese Kung Fu deal with the mind, heart, and spirit. Shaolin Kung Fu pays special attention to stretching and using stretching to develop speed, range of motion, and defensive tactics. The different advantages of each stance are also very important. Using a Shaolin training DVD you can review the different stances, pause the DVD, and make sure you have the stance in your muscle memory like it is second nature.

Different forms can be used in different situations and used to react to the movements of the opponent or attacker. With so many difference stances and forms, many students find that there is a lot to remember mentally, and a lot for the muscles to have to remember as well. This is why a Shaolin training DVD can be such a big help. It allows you to go back and review any stances or information that your body has trouble remembering, or your mind has trouble recalling quickly.

There are many slight variations of Shaolin Kung Fu and they can contain everything from punching, kicking, throws, joint locks, grappling, and weapons training. Having a teacher to go over the moves with you is a huge help. Sometimes it is impossible for a student to know if they are doing a motion correctly without a teacher to help them and explain what they are doing wrong. But when your teacher is not there, a Shaolin training DVD can be the next best thing and can allow you to review movements as much as you want.

I really like the Kung Fu: Shaolin Kung Fu Foundation Form DVD because it breaks the moves down so they are easy to understand and replicate. The DVD explains the reasoning behind the movements so that I can make sure I am doing a move functionally correct. The Kung Fu: Shaolin Kung Fu Foundation Form DVD can help a beginner, or an experienced martial artist. <bio>Yoshi I Kundagawa is a freelance journalist. He covers the mixed martial arts industry.
One of the fast paced sports is the table tennis. It requires alertness, skill and body stamina. It is very easy to love this sport. People can be amazed at how professional table tennis players do their moves.

Unlike the lawn tennis, the table tennis consists of paddles and balls that are lightweight. The moves in table tennis can become really fast that the viewers' heads can turn from left to right by every second as the ball passes from one player to the other.

Seeing how the ping pong ball is passed from the two players can be very breathtaking at times. The players seem to look like they are dancing or gliding with their constant flips of the paddle to hit the ball.

Table tennis players before they became professional and excellent players were once fans of other good players. They become impressed with the way their idols perform at every game. They just love to watch their idols at their live games or view their televisions to watch every single move that would become unforgettable to them. Later on, they will remember these moves and try to copy once they are at the game.

Fans watch their idols. Then they become idols and fans watch them play to become idols, too. Then this goes on and on. Pioneers of the game can pass on to the others their style in playing table tennis.

Then here comes the table tennis videos. This is a much convenient way of learning the basics, reviewing the styles and the best moves. The most perfect shots are recorded and in memory they still become alive and powerful.

Table tennis videos can be purchased from sporting goods stores or through the internet. Usually, these can come in VHS or DVD formats with about an hour of recording time. Matches from the World Championships and the Olympics are recorded and sold to the die-hard fans.

What is so practical in the table tennis video to the learning fan is that the viewer can view several times the moves of his or her favorite player. The moves can be played in slow motion to be able to carefully study how to replicate the move.

The table tennis video is the best guide aside from a personal instructor to teach you how to become a pro. This video can teach you the proper racket grip, the ready and fighting position while playing, footwork, forehand and backhand drives.

With the help of this video, your confidence and preparedness can be boosted. With the application of the techniques to your own play, you are sure to become a pro. You can have the advantage by knowing more and you can earn the respect of other players.

The table tennis videos can be classified into basic training and master's trainings which are both important in your lessons in table tennis. If you are new to the table tennis sport, learn first from the basic. When you have perfected the basics then upgrade to the masters. Just be sure to apply what you have learned.

In learning from the table tennis video, it can be fun to have a partner. You view the video together and apply the techniques together. You share the importance of the video together. You may share the pay of the video, too! <bio>Mario Churchill is a freelance author and has written over 200 articles on various subjects.
A chess set consists of 32 pieces: 16 white and 16 black, representing two sides of a chess battle. To understand how to play chess and develop strategy, it's imperative to know how each piece moves. This very basic knowledge is necessary to truly grasp the power of each chess piece and in the course of a match, make the most of that individual piece's power.

The Pivotal 16

Each player begins the game with 16 chessmen: 1 king, 1 queen, 2 bishops, 2 knights, 2 rooks, and 8 pawns. To properly position the pieces on a chess board, start with the rooks and move inward. The two rooks are placed on the lower corner squares. Next to them go the knights, followed by the bishops.

The queen is next. As a rule of thumb, this piece always matches its color. Thus, the black queen will be on the remaining black square. The white queen, the white square. Lastly, the king sits in the final square of the row. The pawns are placed on the second row in front of the king's "court."

The pieces of a chess set collectively show a player's power. What she does with this potential power is what ultimately determines who wins the game. The overall goal is to keep the king safe. To do so, a player must utilize each chess piece to its maximum strength. In short, chess pieces are capable of the following moves:

King: Moves only one square at a time, but in any direction. It's the most important piece on a chess board. If/when captured, the game is over. The king's special move is called castling; it is the only time two pieces can move at once (king and rook).

Queen: Moves in any direction for any number of squares. It is the most powerful piece on the board, capable of capturing and positioning from most any vantage point.

Bishop: Moves diagonally for any number of squares, yet is limited to one color. It is sensitive to pawn movement.

Knight: Moves two squares vertically or horizontally, then one square to the side. Its unique movement often factors into strategy.

Rook: Moves by rank or file for any number of squares. Starting in the corners, the rook -- along with the queen -- are major pieces on the chess board, capable of altering space and an opponent's plan of attack.

Pawn: Moves only one square at a time and only forward. However, on the opening move, it can choose between two squares or one. A seemingly weak piece, a pawn can also be promoted if it safely reaches the end of the board. If it succeeds, a pawn can be exchanged for any other chess piece, except the king. Most often, a pawn gets promoted to queen.

What's My Move?

It may seem too much to learn all this at once, but in order to truly grasp the potential of your chess pieces, it's important you first understand what each individual piece is capable of. For instance, feeling despaired that you're left with only pawns? Don't forget about pawn promotion. Feeling like your king is being threatened? Consider castling him. By understanding your pieces' potential, a chess board can truly open up with possibilities. You just need to recognize them first.<bio>Elizabeth Traineroni is a chess expert, researcher and writer who takes time out to write articles in her spare time, where she'll help you pick out the perfect chess set.
Roulette is a very interesting casino game that is mainly driven by luck. People place their bets on the roulette table and the luckiest participant wins. It is played in the conventional way on a real table of a casino or on virtual tables in the computer when you play roulette live and online. Though this game is mainly driven by luck, there are techniques of playing this game that increase your chances of winning.

You can find lots of information about winning strategies from numerous websites, sports magazines, and roulette books, many of which can be borrowed from your local library. Many of the strategies work, and many others don't. Some of the sources that provide tips capitalize on the enthusiasm of the learners and charge huge amounts of money from them for revealing some techniques that will make them successful in the game. It has been found that many of these pre-formulated strategies are hardly effective. The best way is to develop one's own strategy to play roulette live with because every person has a different approach to the game and will automatically formulate a method to tackle it the best way he or she can. This is because one will know his situation best while playing the game and hence will have the correct idea of the moves that are most appropriate for him to win the game.

Another reason why people should formulate their own strategies is that the strategies that are revealed in websites, books, or other sources are formulated by experts. They may be technically very complicated and an amateur who is playing for recreation might not understand the strategies of the experts and may not be able to use them, however sophisticated they might be. The best method is to first start with understanding the correct methodology of playing the game and observing the moves of some people who constantly win the game. By observing the winning and the loosing moves the dabblers can understand what moves they should apply and when to win a game. For example many like to follow the martingale strategy when they play roulette live and wait for a perfect opportunity to start betting, say on red after a long string of black numbers.

After observing the experts at play one should devise his or her own original strategies. It is not advisable for a person to copy the moves of others because their situations might be different and the strategies that work for one do not work for others. As roulette is a game that is totally dependent on the luck of the player it is always better to play it in a restricted manner so that one does not end up loosing all the money. Before you even begin to play roulette live it is always better to plan the amount of money one might want to allot for the game so that even if a person looses, he or she does not go bankrupt by spending more than the amount of money actually reserved for the game.<bio>The author writes articles for this website about live online roulette which features the best uk sites for anyone wanting to play roulette live.
Want to play the English's version of Baseball or perhaps you are just looking for a game that increases you hand eye coordination, then look no farther than Stick Cricket. The name Stick Cricket derives from the English Game Cricket and the neat graphics which make your players look like stick people.

Stick Cricket is a simple and easy game where you use the Arrow Keys or letters A, W, D, and S key to move your player and the stick bat to aim for your hit. The Keys mentioned do the following moves; W or Arrow Up Key moves are Straight Drive/ Defend/ and Let Go, the A or Backwards Arrow keys moves are Cow Corner/ Pull/ Hook, the D or Forward Key are Cut/ and Off Drive, and the S or Down Arrow Key is Duck. This is one set of keys you may want to remember since the ball can and will come straight at you.

I know I said simple and easy, the only really simple and easy things about this game is the Keys used to play, I found the arrow keys the easiest to use. To play you wait until the ball reaches you then you swing the bat using one of the keys, the overall goal is to hit it as far as possible without getting an out, scoring higher than the opposing team. The game is highly addictive, and fun for everyone. You will notice three sticks standing up out of the ground, if the ball hits one of these then you get an automatic out.

There are four figures in the outfield behind the pitcher who you need to aim away from if at all possible. They are there for one reason and one reason only to get you out, that perfect hit that took so long to get is caught by these menacing players. They are only doing their job though as they are on the opposing side.

The designers focused more on the fun you can and will have playing the game, than the actual graphics though definitely eye catching in their drawings. <bio>Dee Owens writes articles and reviews for <a href="http://games.download3000.com" >http://games.download3000.com.
