Medical insurance is one of the most important things that you can purchase for yourself or for your family. We have come to depend on medical insurance every time that we have to see the doctor or go to the hospital. If you have kids, then you know that without medical insurance you would probably be in the poor house. If you were to lose your medical insurance for some reason, then you might find yourself in a tremendous amount of debt in no time.

Gaps in medical insurance coverage can occur for many different reasons. When students graduate from college, when people change jobs, or when you are waiting for group coverage to start, are just some of the reasons that gaps can occur in your medical insurance. The best way to assure that you and your family will still have coverage during these gaps is to get short term medical insurance coverage.

Short term medical insurance can be purchased to help while you are waiting for your regular medical insurance coverage to start again. Short term medical insurance will only cover you for one month to one year. If you need coverage longer than that, then you can usually transition into a regular medical insurance plan if the company you bought your short term coverage from offers it.

Usually short term medical insurance plans will only cover accidents and unforeseen illnesses. If you have any type of preexisting illness, then you will not be eligible for short term medical insurance coverage. However there is another type of short term medical insurance called COBRA that may be available to you. This is a government-regulated option that can help to extend your employer-sponsored medical insurance until new medical insurance is obtained. COBRA is a great choice if you do not want to purchase another short term medical insurance plan. <bio>Get free insurance short term medical quotes at http://www.short-termhealthinsurance.com/ </bio>

Once you have erected your garden shed it is important to maintain it correctly. If treated and maintained correctly you should enjoy your shed for many years.

Apart from the floor joists, sheds are usually supplied completely untreated. It is strongly recommended that you treat your shed within 2 weeks of installation. When treating your shed, bear in mind that colours may appear slightly different due to the individual qualities of timber.

When applying treatment to sheds, it is important that you stipple it into the corners and log slots as this will help prevent moisture from seeping in.

When choosing your treatment ensure that it is suitable for use on planed wood, and not for sawn timber.

Aftercare

Appearance of gaps

Timber is a natural product and thus will vary with changes in humidity and changes in temperature. When the weather becomes extremely dry, small cracks may well appear between the boards.

These cracks between boards will disappear when the weather normalizes. Small cracks that are formed after a long drought period cannot be avoided; however, they do not affect the static load bearing capacity of the shed.

If gaps begin to appear between the boards of then it's quite possible that the storm braces have been fitted too tightly. The first thing to do in this case is to loosen off the bolts of the storm braces to see if this allows the shed to settle back into position.

If problems persist with gaps appearing between logs and loosening the storm braces does not resolve the problem, you can try placing a block of wood into the ends of the logs and using a mallet, hit them back into place gently.

Gaps will also likely appear between the boards if you restrict the movement of the boards in anyway. It is strongly advised that you do not install any fixtures that will restrict the movement of the shed.

Other problems

Roofing felt is liable to some movement with changes of temperature that can quite often result in a rippling effect. Do not be alarmed as this is perfectly normal and will not reduce the quality of the roofing felt.

Also, doors and windows will expand and contract with changes in humidity and changes in temperature. To minimise the risk of any problems occurring, ensure that all of the sheds windows and doors are treated using an appropriate product. It may be necessary to adjust the screws holding the shed in place from time to time. <bio>The Author, Sara Lungley, wrote this article on treating garden sheds and recommends you visit http://www.gardeningthoughts.co.uk for more information. </bio>

Over time, baseball and softball glove laces can become stretched, damaged, or even break. Stretched laces create larger and larger gaps between the fingers of the glove. Laces that are too loose, can, over time, actually result in deformation of the glove's shape. Very large gaps can actually be dangerous as hard line drives can sometimes get through one of these gaps and can injure the player.

Occassionally tightening your laces throughout the season will keep your glove in its original shape. You may even have laces become damaged or actually break. When that happens, you'll need to replace it.

Steps to replace glove laces:

1. Use glove oil or leather softener to treat the new rawhide lacing. This will soften the leather and make it easier to handle as you repair your glove.

2. Make careful note of the stitching pattern of the lace area you are replacing.

3. Remove one section of the broken lacing at a time, using scissors if required.

4. Tie a tight overhand knot at one end of the new lacing, and using a leather awl or other pointy tool, push the lacing through the first hole of the stitching pattern. Pull the lacing through all the way to the knot.

5. Continue threading the lacing through the holes, replicating the glove's original lacing pattern. Make sure the lacing is pulled as tight as possible without deforming the glove. In time, the new lacing will stretch a bit.

6. Make another overhand knot at the end of the section. Adjust the knot snugly against the glove, and cut off any excess lacing close to knot.

7. Repeat these steps for the other sections needing repair.

Keeping your glove in good repair will extend its life and maintain its playing performance, helping you play at your best season after season. <bio>Vinci Pro softball gloves are the highest in quality, durability, style and performance.
Cosmetic dentistry is the branch of dental science that deals with appearance of a patient's teeth and oral cavity as opposed to the prevention and treatment of disease or major dental reconstruction. Cosmetic dentistry concerns itself with that which is physically and visually pleasing to the patient.

Materials used in cosmetic dentistry have changed over the years, depending on what's preferred and what's practical. Dental fillings and other reconstructions were once done with gold, amalgam, and metals overlaid with porcelain to simulate actual bone. Now, dentistry and cosmetic dentistry primarily use porcelain, unless major reconstruction warrants the use of stronger and denser materials. Resin adhesives are then used to bond these materials to the teeth.

Cosmetic dentistry involves four basic procedures:

Whitening: Discolored teeth are bleached under dentist supervision. This cosmetic dentistry procedure is preferred before veneering is considered.

Enamel Shaping: Awkwardly formed or damaged teeth are shaved down and reshaped to achieve a pleasing appearance. This entails removing irreplaceable contouring enamel and fixing deformities. This cosmetic dentistry procedure is known as enamelplasty and odontoplasty.

Bonding: Dental composite material, appearing as actual bone, is bonded to the actual teeth to fill in chips, gaps, cracks, and holes. The new construction is then sculpted, hardened, and polished to resemble actual pearly whites.

Veneering: ultra-thin, custom-made laminates are attached to the teeth. This is similar to bonding, but where bonding fixes deformities with attached composite material, veneering merely covers unappealing teeth with a thin overlay. This cosmetic dentistry procedure addresses gaps as well, if the gaps aren't too wide. Veneering is usually suggested if bleaching fails to whiten teeth.

Cosmetic dentistry doesn't solve the major dental problems that occur, but it does boost ego and self-esteem, and it's not as high-costing as actual dental work. Healthy looking teeth are attractive and inspire people to feel good about themselves! <bio>Find more Cosmetic Dentistry resources at http://www.CosmeticDentistry-4u.info, and other great topics here http://www.information-checkstop.info. </bio>

Avery Horton "The Rumpled One" is a traders' trader who makes a great income day trading a very simple day trading method called "fading the gap."

If you could trade a method that took you less than 30 minutes to perform in the morning for $0.30 to $1 profit with 80% accuracy....would you trade it?

When you can trade 1,000+ shares in a stock that is $300 to $1,000 profit on each successful trade EVERY DAY.

Here are some of the emails I have received from Avery recently:

1) See all the gaps that have filled within 30 minutes

2) Even where the gap hasn't filled, there's money to be made What I mean by statistics is how many times during the last 100 days a stock has gone up at list $.10, $.20, ... $1.00 or more from open to high:

Mark, I like to keep things simple... 1000 shares * $.12 profit / share = $120. After commissions, I net $100. Basically, this is a $100 bill printing press.

-Avery

See all those filled gaps?!?!?!

You would have made over $1.00 per share on every trade! The QQQQ doesn't count, I just use it to gauge the market. But it, too, filled the gap...LOL!

Compare the middle indicator to before... see how much trading each cross can net you?

It really is simple, Mark. I think you can "feel" it... can't you?

- Avery

Hi Mark:

1) Let's say a trader starts with $25,000 and trades 1000 shares. If the trader nets $100 a day pretax on ONE TRADE, with 22 trading days a month that's $2,200 in about 30 minutes or less per day.

Ok..that's enough for now. I have picked The Rumpled One's mind clean over the past week nailing down his "fade the gap method." I am actually amazed he gave away so much information so freely.

So get you FREE "Fade The Gap Day Trading Method" Now by entering your name and email address.
There are 30 million taxpayers in the UK and, according to the latest research by tax refund company Refunds Direct, around 1 in 3 are owed a tax refund. Alarmingly, one of the most common payment mistake areas is income tax, where the average refund is over =A3800.

Why don't you know about it? Many people believe the Government will refund overpaid tax. Sadly, this is not true and it is an individual's responsibility to claim their tax back.

Income tax overpayment affects a lot of people. Thankfully, unlike the tax system itself, finding out of you're due a refund is quite simple. Firstly, ask yourself if any of the following apply to you or to someone you know: have you worked for part of a tax year? Have you paid emergency tax for 3 months or more? Have you had numerous jobs or worked for through agencies? Have you had substantial gaps in your employment? Have you entered the UK to work or are leaving the UK? Are you a student who has a holiday job or placement?

If you can answer 'yes' to any of these questions, you may want to find out more - and now there is an easy way to do just that. Most of us find the tax system a bit daunting (8 out of 10 people admit to not understanding it), but help is at hand. With 'no win, no fee' services that takes all of the taxing work out of tax work, help is available.

Mike Oaten, from Refunds Direct, explains: "Up to 10 million people in the UK are potentially owed tax refunds. Many many millions of pounds in refunds goes unclaimed every year. Unless people act now it all stays in the taxman's pocket."

"Our goal is to make everyone in the country aware that they could get tax refunds and help them get their money back."

You may be eligible if you=85

* Worked for part of a tax year * Paid emergency tax for 3 months or more * Had numerous jobs for worked through agencies * Had substantial gaps in your employment * Entered or left the UK to work * Are you a student who has worked holiday job or placement

You are unlikely to be eligible if you=85

* Stopped work and then claimed Job Seekers Allowance? If so, any refund would have been repaid by the benefits office.

* Stopped work part way through a tax year because of maternity leave or retirement. <bio>Mike Oaten is a Director of Refunds Direct, a leading UK Tax Refund and Rebate company http://www.refundsdirect.co.uk </bio>

So you have finally bought the boat of your dreams, but the dreams have become a nightmare, when you realize months later that your prized possession isn't looking that classy as when you initially bought it. So what do you think went wrong; did you make a bad investment or could it be that the type of boat cover you bought to protect it was a bad choice?

The importance of buying a good boat cover to protect your boat cannot be undermined if you want your boat to look its best, and there are a lot of factors you really need to consider when buying one.

It is necessary to ensure that while water in your boat can escape, no water should be able to get into the boat, as that will definitely cause terrible damage. Besides water, the UV rays from the sun can be a major source of harm. Furthermore, a boat cover should cover the entire boat and if there are gaps, then you are wasting your time, by buying a cover that does not fit properly.

This is where custom made covers come in. Although they will definitely cost more, they are tailor-made for your boat and will serve the purpose they are intended for, which is to protect it.

The key advantage of custom boat covers is that they should fit your boat perfectly. This helps to keep out water, dust and dirt, and sometimes even rodents, so gaps are really something you don't want to have to deal with. By having the cover tailor made, you have the choice of color you want and the flexibility to have it customized, which would otherwise not be possible if you bought it from a shop.

Of course the only disadvantage that makes some people think twice is the high cost.

In the case of semi-custom covers, they tend to be either a little large or a slightly too small. While being small is a definite problem, being extra large is also not ideal as you have to fold up or tuck in the excess, which can be difficult and time consuming. Added to that is the fact that it looks untidy, and the folds can trap moisture, resulting in the growth of mold and mildew.

Eventually whatever you buy, it is a major expense and one should ensure to get a decent warranty.

Overall, while buying a tailor-made boat cover is easy, the problem arises when you have to choose between the various types of canvas and plastics that are available, so take your time. Ask questions and don't be in too much of a rush, just because you can't wait to get on that boat and sail away! <bio>For further detailed information on boat covers and boat care, visit http://www.boat-covers-centre.info or http://www.boat-covers-center.info/ </bio>

First impressions count whether we like it or not.

And how you feel about how you look matters even more because a confident positive attitude will create a positive flow of energy around you.

Imagine two identical yous. You come into a room and there you are. What do you think about your image, your clothes, your general demeanour? Are you delighted with what you see? Do you look comfortable in your skin?

Find three words that describe what you see.

What were your words: comfortable, stylish, approachable, sexy, smart?

If your words weren't so positive it could be time for a change.

How do you want to feel inside your clothes? Find three words that you would like to be able to use about yourself all the time.

Step 1: The Big Picture There are many roles we live out: worker, lover, mother, father, sports person, clubber, gardener and we tend to have different clothes to fit each role.

What are your roles? Identify them.

Are there gaps in your wardrobe? Is there anything that's missing? Do you have an imbalance in your wardrobe? Does your wardrobe reflect your current roles?

Step 2: Subtract When you go through your wardrobe you can be ruthless -- look at each item of clothing? What role does each item belong to?

With each item ask yourself the following questions:

Do I ever wear it? Does it fit and suit me? Do I love it? Does it satisfy my three key words?

If it does not fit these criteria just ask yourself: Why do I still own it? Is it time to throw it out?

Step 3: Add You've gone through and got rid of the items that don't serve you. You may not have very much left in your wardrobe but what you do have will be the things that reflect who you are.

You are half-way there.

Now its time to add to what you love and build yourself a wardrobe that makes you feel a million dollars.

Create the image that you want for yourself. When you feel good you will look good and ooze with confidence and charisma.

1)What are the gaps in your wardrobe? 2)What would you really love to wear but have never owned 3)What colours and styles suit you? 4)What clothes would really suit your personality and inner style?

Now you can begin to build yourself a style that you feel at ease with. A style that reflects who you are.

Less is more: it's not how much you have it's what you do with what you've got!
Group health insurance rates have been increasing year after year and employers have been forced to make some drastic changes in their employee benefit programs. Many employers have changed their health insurance to high deductible plans. Dental Insurance has been discontinued by some companies as well as vision care. Disability programs have been trimmed down as well as group life insurance. This has created gaps in coverage and employees have had to look for alternatives for coverage that has been omitted or decreased in their benefit package. The answer to this problem has come in the form of supplemental health insurance. Supplemental health insurance companies will enroll employees with these products and the premiums are paid through payroll deduction.

Supplemental health Insurance Products

1. Disability Insurance -- Supplemental disability insurance is sold to employees to fill in gaps or replace lost benefits. Long term and short term disability insurance can be purchased with a variety of waiting periods and benefit periods.

2. Life Insurance -- Supplemental life insurance includes a variety of permanent plans as well as term life insurance. There are non-medical life policies available for larger groups when a certain amount of employees participate in the plan.

3. Dental Insurance -- This is one of the more popular supplemental health products because it usually the first discontinued by the employer.

4. Cancer Insurance -- The cancer policy is a single need policy with relatively low premiums.

5. Accident Insurance -- The accident policy covers accidental injury and death. There are accident disability riders on some accident policies.

6. Hospital Income -- The hospital income policy pays a daily dollar rate to the insured while hospitalized. These policies can pay as low as $10 per day and as high as $200 for each day hospitalized.

The need for supplemental insurance is stronger than ever before. These policies can also be purchased on an individual basis with most companies. <bio>http://www.ezquoteguide.com/health/ http://www.ezquoteguide.com/car/ http://www.ezquoteguide.com/home/ </bio>

Many job seekers have one basic resume in the same way that a musician may only know how to perform one or two songs well. Different jobs searches require different resumes. Different type of jobs requires different tailor made resumes.

First you should decide on your job objective. This can be best accomplished by writing a concise job objective that describes the job that you are seeking. Your entire resume will be organized around that objective. Deciding on a clear job objective will help you determine the best way to organize your resume for the job search, select appropriate keywords and present your job and career experiences.

First on the blueprint list is to choose the most appropriate resume layout for your resume project. Among the most popular resume layout schemes are reverse chronological, functional and lastly a combination of both.

The reverse chronological layout is best to show skills, work experience and logical career progression that are directly related to the employment job target. This layout should be chosen when you wish to emphasize steady, solid work experience without major employment gaps. Place prominently at the very top of the resume the information category that best supports your job objective or career objectives. List your employment history in reverse chronological order with the most recent experience first on the list. Ensure that you stress the major accomplishments and responsibilities of each position. It is best to avoid repeating details that are common to several of the work employment positions.

The second of the resume preparation formats is the "functional" resume. You should use this resume format is you lack work experience that is directly related to your job employment career target. As well the functional format of resume type is appropriate are you having gaps in employment history. In our day and age gaps in the employment history of men generally draw much more attention whereas in the case of the female sex leaving the workplace for a number of reason whether it be for raising children or other household duties is not such a red flag in the employment hiring process.

Clearly emphasize your skills that relate to the job objectives and substantiate them with measurable accomplishments. Use separate paragraphs to emphasize each skill category. Arrange the paragraphs in order or importance to objective, listing the most appropriate and important skills first.

Lastly the third and last of these resume format is that of the "Combination" resume format. You can and should capture an employer's attention by emphasizing the match between your skills and the position's requirements. Consider the combination layout if you want to emphasize your skills or if you have limited experience. List your skills in a reverse chronological list of job experiences. Add credibility by linking your achievement with specific employers and time periods. Place your education summary where it best suits your objectives. If your education is more closely related to the skills required for you target job, then place your educational information before your work experience information.

It is often said that it `how you tell the story" not the story itself that counts. . The same holds true with your resume and its preparation. The whole purpose of the job employment resume is to open the door for an interview. Different jobs require different resumes that are targeted for that specific job. How could it be otherwise? Choose the most appropriate resume layout format to be the bait to get that interview or interviews on the way to landing that job. <bio>Shaun Z.
If you are still trying to build up your own opt-in list but need to start marketing your products then you may look at buying leads. Buying leads however can become very costly and in some cases may not be worth the return on investment so what do you look for when buying leads?

1. How Were Your Leads Collected?

The first thing you should know when you look at buying leads is how these leads were collected. The best way is if leads were collected by means of a double opt-in system. Do not buy leads that were simply drawn from the internet without the lead's consent as you will probably be accused of spamming if you use these leads.

2. How Fresh Are the Leads?

Another consideration to look at when buying leads is how fresh they are =96 how recently were they collected and how many times have they been sold? Leads that are old or that have been sold to many other buyers will probably not be worth the investment you spend in buying them.

3. Are These Leads Targeted?

Targeting is important for the success of your internet marketing business so before buying leads consider how targeted these leads are. If you find leads that are targeted to the group of people you are trying to reach you will have a lot greater success than simply buying leads that are not targeted.

4. How Often Do They Clean These Lists?

You do not want to buy leads that no longer work and so it is important to know how often the leads you are buying get cleaned up and how gaps in the lead list are filled.

5. Do They Have Testimonials and What Are These Like?

Does the company you are looking at buying leads from have testimonials on their web page? What do these testimonials have to say about the company and the results they are getting from the leads they bought? If a lead company does not have testimonials then be very cautious about doing business with it.

6. Seek Referrals First

If you know of other website owners who are also buying leads and have had some success with their leads then ask them to suggest a lead company to you. If you know and trust someone then they will be more likely to be honest with you about what works and what doesn't.

7. Find out What Advertising Methods They Use to Get Leads

This may be similar to the first point but before buying leads find out what advertising methods the lead company used to get their leads. If they are using advertising methods that appeal to your target market then you will be more likely to have success with the leads that they provide. Also consider how effective their advertising methods are =96 if the people they are advertising to are just interested in getting something for free then you will probably not make any money from them. If they are using spam methods to get leads then you could find yourself in serious trouble.

In conclusion, when buying leads there are a number of important factors that you should consider =96 how were the leads collected and how did the company advertise to get these leads? How fresh are the leads? Is the list you buying clean and how were the gaps filled? Is the list targeted? Can you get referrals and testimonials for the lead company? Although it is always best to create your own double opt-in lists, if you are just starting out then you may find success with buying leads if you find a good lead company to buy from. <bio>Alex Edevane is an accomplished internet marketer and educator focusing on innovative and unique techniques for building a successful online home-based business.
Whether you've just found a hardwood floor under your old carpeting or the wood floor you installed is looking a little beat, refinishing is the best option to bring out it's inner beauty. Here are the steps you need to take to refinish your floors on your own.

Clear the Area

You need to remove everything you can from the floor area you are going to refinish. Sofas, curtains, tables, rugs, etc. Another, often overlooked, important thing is to block as much of the airflow through the area as possible. While your finish is drying any airborne particles will stick and become part of the floor. Anything left in the area or those surrounding it should be properly protected while sanding. Dust covers and plastic blocking doorways are two of the best ways to accomplish this.

Before Sanding

You want to go over your floor and fill in any cracks or gaps in the wood. Use wood putty in visible areas and caulk along the baseline if necessary. If your floor was beneath carpeting, use diagonal pliers to remove any left over staples or remaining carpet padding. Then go around and sink any nails that may be sticking out as these can damage the sanding equipment.

Floor Sanding

You need to wear a dust mask and ear protection, sanding your floor might the noisiest, dustiest thing you ever do! You want to start your sander above the floor and gently lower it down. Be careful not to gouge your floor, it isn't hard to do. Just remember to be gentle and let the sander sort of float along the surface of the wood. Also make sure you never let the sander sit in one place on your floor, it will leave a swirl mark in seconds that will take you hours to remove.

Sand with the grain of the wood. Move forward and backward over each row so you get a nice even sanding. The first pass is your rough pass, now you need to change to a medium grit paper and go over the entire area a second time. Then go over the floor again looking for cracks, gaps and nails. Use putty and sink any nail heads you see.

Now you want to use a palm sander with a fine grit paper for your final sanding pass. Once finished, vacuum the whole area including the walls and ceiling. You need to remove all particles, dust, and anything else that can stick in the you wood finish. Now it's time to buff. Follow the grain in the wood and start in the middle of the room. After that your wood floor is ready to be stained, that's it. <bio>Further wood floor refinishing techniques are illustrated at http://www.homehardwood.com along with detailed tools descriptions and instructions. </bio>

Just like you, every single person that enters Forex currency trading online does so with the sincere intention of making money. Every one, including you. There isn't a single one that intends to lose money, yet the statistic of 90% losing their money is very real.

This is a very sad tragedy that good people experience everyday. The problem isn't that people lack the intelligence or ability, nor is currency trading online impossible to master.

It is that they skip steps in their development.

Forex currency trading online offers a very real and very achievable opportunity for those that will simply follow the proper steps to reach their goal of consistent profits and approach the matter in a sensible manner. There are several components to a trader's development in becoming the confident trader that produces consistent profits.

Gaps in a trader's education will have to be filled before the end-goal is achieved, just like price gaps as in the markets.

The primary reason that the statistic in currency trading online exists is because those that lose money don't focus on developing themselves and their Forex currency trading online business. They choose to focus almost exclusively on making money right now. Thus the gaps cause them to lose their money before they've filled their educational and developmental gaps.

Second-wave traders are people that have blown out their account, or come close enough to realize this, and subsequently take a more business-like and realistic approach to their currency trading online.

So that they can have better chances of success the second (or third) time around, they pay attention to the fact that they missed some steps and now consciously pursue them. They don't want to repeat the vicious cycle of regular and repeated large losses that they experienced as first-wave traders.

There are five steps to avoid the tragedy so commonly found in Forex currency trading online.

Step 1. Develop a thorough understanding of currency trading online. This means what the markets are really about, what drives them, how to read a price chart, how to properly plan trades, how to identify good setups, entries, exits, etc. The basics are essential to master.

Step 2. Seek out the mistakes made by others. There are over 39 different mistakes commonly made by traders. This means that there are numerous opportunities to lose money in currency trading online.

If you don't make yourself aware of mistakes made by others, then that leaves you open to making them yourself =96 and you'll pay the price when you make them. Learn from the mistakes of others and save both money and regret.

Step 3. You've heard that you should treat your trading like the business that it is. The problem is that if you haven't run a business before you may not know how to go about it. Any endeavor engaged on a regular basis for profit is a business. Even the government looks at it this way.

The more structured a business is, such as your currency trading online, and the more it includes sensible formalities such as reporting, the more consistent it will become. This is the end goal of most traders =96 consistent profits =96 so treating it as a business will surely help in achieving that goal. There are resources available on sites such as YouTube, so seek them out.

Step 4. In addition to having a system for selecting and placing trades, you should systemize what you do in your currency trading online. This goes right along with treating your trading as a business, but in more detail and from more of an operational perspective.

Systemizing what you do will bring repeatability and predictability to your activity, and this is desirable in trading as well.

Step 5. Manage your your emotions as they are often the cause of large losses and missed profits, even for veteran traders. It is not necessary to try to be a inhuman and "turn off" your emotions.

By educating yourself on the psychology of trading to have an understanding of how your emotions play into your decision-making process and what factors affect your currency trading online, this will again help you achieve the goal of consistency.

Forex currency trading online presents a tremendous opportunity for people that will simply approach the endeavor from a business like and long term perspective. Most who enter currency trading online, do so very ignorant of what it takes and this is quite understandable, as it is something totally new to them.

Educate yourself and seek out the developmental resources to help you through these five steps to ensure that you give yourself the best chances of realizing what currency trading online has to offer. Make sure you give yourself a happy ending. <bio>Brian McAboy has been featured on the Chicago Board of Trade, in PitNews magazine and in Trader Digest.
Leaders have vision; they can see beyond their nose, so to speak. Vision refers to the ability to see things far ahead in terms of time, evolution and growth. It also includes the ability to pre-empt the difficulties and obstacles and be prepared to deal with them when they look you in the face. In fact, the fundamental difference between leaders and followers is that the latter need to be told what to do and sometimes, even how to do it while the leaders will create work and be able to see the finished product even as they work on the initial stages. Vision is what Michelangelo saw in the rock; he didn't see the stone; he saw the statue complete and beautiful.

Leaders are persons with a vision, but unfortunately, not many leaders can convey their vision to the people they lead. They assume that everyone understands their vision. Often there is a big gap between their vision and what the people they lead see as the vision. In other words, there is a communication gap; they say something and it is understood as something quite different. Unless they spell it out people will derive all sorts of meanings from it. Everyone perceives things differently and a skillful leader recognizes this.

The most successful leaders speak a language their organization can easily understand. Successful leaders don't take it for granted that they will be understood. So, they take the time and the trouble to double check to make sure that the vision they are communicating is the vision people are hearing. In many instances there is a large gap between what a leader thinks he said and what subordinates think they hear.

The story of the blind men and the elephant needs to be remembered when communicating your vision. Remember, your vision is in your head and as far as the listeners are concerned, they are oblivious of it. Unless you are able to give a full picture of what is in your mind, they will construe whatever is important to them. In the end, probably each one will give a different meaning to it. To avoid such ambiguities, it is important to convey your vision in simple, definite, unambiguous terms.

A very simple way to test whether your organization's vision aligns with your vision is to ask people to write down the vision anonymously on a piece of paper in a short paragraph. Keeping the process anonymous helps people concentrate more on articulating the vision and less on worrying about getting it wrong or any repercussions from an incorrect answer. Once you get the feedback read over each and every vision statement.

A successful leader is one who will have majority of the people communicating his vision. However, more often than not, even fifty percent don't get it right. This exercise is more for your good. You will discover why they understood it that way. It is mostly because of certain gaps you left assuming that they already know these things. Once you know these gaps, you can plug the holes. And, your vision will be better understood. <bio>Harald Anderson is the co-founder of http://www.artinspires.com a leading online Motivational Posters gallery.
Installing and maintaining your caulking and weatherstripping is an easy and affordable way to keep your energy costs low. Essentially, weatherstripping or caulking works to seal the gaps around your windows and doors. It keeps them leak-free, meaning the hot or conditioned air stays inside, while the outside air stays out.

Keep reading to learn about some of the basic weatherstripping options available to you, along with fresh tips on what types of stripping will work best for your windows.

Types of Weather Stripping

Most weatherstripping can be divided into two categories: nail-on stripping and the self-stick tape style. Because it's more common, we're going to talk about self-stick tape weatherstripping first. Most self-sticking weatherstripping is made of foam, rubber or vinyl and then typically backed with a sticky adhesive for easy application.

Self-sticking weatherstripping works best on vinyl or metal windows, basically any situation where driving in nails is going to damage the frame or simply isn't possible. To install self-stick tape stripping, you simply cut it to size with scissors, remove the adhesive backing and stick it on, being careful to position it slowly so you don't accidentally misalign or squeeze a lump into it.

When purchasing self-sticking tape, look for a type called EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene-monomer). This rubber tape is known for being a long-lasting product that retains its insulation power and elasticity through years of inclement weather.

If you're looking for a nail-on stripping, you can try spring bronze or vinyl v-strips. Spring bronze weatherstripping works best on gaps that are less than a quarter inch wide and have a consistent width. To install spring bronze, you simply nail the metal flange in place and then spring it open to close the gap.

Vinyl V-strips are another alternate for spring bronze, but they're not known for being durable. They're easy to install and work best with wood frames, but the vinyl can wear out fast, especially if exposed to harsh weather conditions or excessive moisture from rain and condensation in the home.

Finally, there's high-density foam stripping, which typically comes in a tape form. The most common type is closed cell foam, both inexpensive and waterproof, but also known to be less durable than EPDM. While high-density, closed-cell foam is a little more flexible and less expensive, you'll need to replace it more often. Over the long term, it will likely cost more. Open-cell foam is a similar variation, designed to fit narrow and irregularly shaped gaps, but intended for indoor use only.

You can check for loose or inefficient weatherstripping with a simple desk fan and extension cord. You'll need two people; one person stands outside the window with the fan while the other stands inside to test for air leaks. Go around the outside the window frame with the fan blowing, while feeling for drafts. Make note of the windows that need to be re-stripped and get started before the harsh hot or cold weather arrives where you live. <bio>For info on home energy savings ideas, see http://www.energysavingsoptions.com, offering insights on energy cost cutting measures, such as garage door insulation- http://www.energysavingsoptions.com/garage-door-insulation.shtml, portable furnace- http://www.energysavingsoptions.com/portable-furnace.shtml and many more! </bio>

You're really doing it. You're going back into the rat race. After being out of the workforce for a couple of months - or even several years - it's time to jump back in with both feet. But how do you do it?

I Can Do It

That's your mantra for your job search. You're concerned -- even intimidated -- by all those people out there who have a stellar work-record. But you know what? You have something special and unique that you can bring to an employer. That is what you have to remember throughout this whole process. You have to have confidence in yourself so that others will have confidence in you as well.

By all accounts, job seekers with a picture-perfect employment history do tend to have an advantage over you. Their resumes may be better received than those who are re-entering the workforce or are changing careers. But just because they may have an edge, doesn't mean you can't create your own.

Explain What You've Been Doing

This might seem like a very simple step, but oftentimes job seekers are afraid to address their employment gap in their resume package. However, if you ignore it, then the employer is left to fill in the gaps...usually not to the benefit of the job seeker.

In your cover letter, briefly explain why you've been unemployed. No need to go into great detail, but you should address it. While you're at it, you can tell them what you've been doing with your 'time off' and how you've been constantly trying to improve yourself and enhance your skills. You've been doing this, right?

A Different Format May Be Necessary

Employers are used to seeing resumes in a certain format. When they see it differently, a red flag might go up. Why? Because it's often a sign of a less-than-perfect work history. That's okay. You can overcome that. Conduct a brainstorming session with yourself and write down all your skills and achievements. That is going to be your biggest challenge. It can be from past work history, what you've done while unemployed, or a combination of both. Then grab a couple of resume samples you can look at for help with formatting.

Interview as a Professional

Even if you're a mom going back to work after several years, you have to leave that persona behind. The minute you speak to someone -- via phone or in person -- about a job, you are a job seeker in the professional world.

Interviewing is nerve-wracking even for job seekers who go through them every couple of years. It can be downright frightening for those who are returning to the workforce. One of the reasons for this is the lack of practice. Another one is lack of confidence. Sometimes, if you practice, practice, practice, the confidence will follow because you know you can present yourself in a professional manner and answer all those tough interview questions that are bound to be asked.

So for you job seekers going back to work, congratulations! You are embarking on a new chapter of your life. View it is a positive event, prepare yourself and your resume package and you just might find going back to work is an extremely satisfying and rewarding experience. <bio>Heather Eagar is a former professional resume writer and creator of Moms Back to Work, a site that offers help to moms returning to work.
Steel warehouses have a multitude of uses. They can house everything from overstock to livestock, airplanes to the family car. If you are building a steel warehouse, you should consider whether or not you want it to be insulated.

Why should you insulate or not insulate your warehouse? There are countless variables that could lead you in either direction. First, consider your location. Are you building a steel warehouse in a location with extreme weather? Will it be cold, rainy or snowy in the part of the world where you are erecting your warehouse?

Without insulation, the weather inside a steel warehouse will be much like the weather outside (barring rain and snow, of course). Since steel is conductive, cold weather outside will make it cold in your warehouse. Heat and humidity can also easily influence the atmosphere inside your warehouse. Depending on factors like where the warehouse is located, it can act like an oven. Also, the small gaps that are inherent in the construction of steel warehouses can let in wind, weather and humidity.

If you are using your warehouse for the storage of inanimate objects that are not affected by the temperature, you probably don't need to worry about insulating it.

Are you using it to store automobiles or farm equipment? Maybe you are using it to warehouse a non-perishable commercial product. If so, then it probably isn't imperative for you to insulate your warehouse.

But consider how often you or your employees will be in the warehouse? Will you be there on a daily basis? Will you have full-time employees working at the warehouse? If this is the case, you should consider using insulation. If your employees will be spending a lot of time in the warehouse, it is in accordance with good employment practices to provide a safe and comfortable work environment. Your workers will be happier and turnover will be lower if your warehouse is insulated from the rain, heat and cold. Also, if you and your family will be using the warehouse, you owe it to yourself and them to keep the warehouse safe and comfortable.

Insulating a warehouse is not just about keeping the cold out. If you are storing large amounts of perishable products such as food, you should use insulation to keep the cool air inside, and the hot air out. If you do so, the products you are storing will be far less likely to spoil, and you will incur fewer financial losses in the long run.

Insulating a warehouse is an energy and time-consuming task, but it doesn't have to be a difficult one. Recently, there have been many innovations in spray-foam insulation which have made it even easier and more effective to use.

Polyurethane foam can meet many insulation needs, from keeping refrigerator-like temperatures to simply keeping out drafts. Because the foam expands as it dries, it is excellent for sealing small gaps that would otherwise be very difficult to insulate. If you are interested in learning about polyurethane insulation, you should contact a contractor or manufacturer that specializes in it, or visit a warehouse supply store. <bio>All Future Steel Buildings come prepared for a quick and easy installation of insulation.
