As I have discussed before, being able to tell when your partner is lying to you is much more difficult than you may think. Specifically, we have touched on the biases we have when trying to uncover the truth -- now, we're going to look at the type of questions we ask when looking for the truth, and how they are ineffective.

To be to the point, when trying to find out the truth, people generally ask probing questions. That would entail, "What?" "How did that happen?" "When did you do that?" "Are you positive?" And so on. Although probing questions are intended to get at the truth, forming your questions that way actually has the reverse effect and makes it harder for you to tell if you're being deceived or not. Every study brings the same results: asking probing questions hinders your judgment.

So why, and how does this happen? (If you've been paying attention, you'll know that those are probing questions) There are two rationalizations.

Primarily, asking probing questions helps the potential liar -- it gives them the heads up that "Hey! I don't think you're telling the truth!" From there, they can change their behavior to seem more sincere, or honest.

In addition, it hurts those who are trying to discover the truth because it impacts your ability to make a decision. When you ask your partner "What happened?" And they respond with "I told you I went to Larry's house. I wouldn't lie to you" The person probing takes that and says to themselves, 'well, he must be telling the truth because he wouldn't lie to me, and if he were lying I'd be able to tell.' It's a combination of people putting too much faith in their ability to detect deception, and putting to much faith in their partner.

People assume that they are able to tell when their mate is lying to them because after they ask the question designed at getting to the truth, they don't see any indication that their partner is lying, and assume that they are not. That occurrence is called, the "probing heuristic." Overall, every study shows that asking those types of questions of a partner is unsuccessful at getting at the truth.

Wouldn't it be great if we didn't have to try and "get at the truth"? One can dream. <bio>Did you know statistics say that 85% of women who feel their lover is cheating are correct and 50% of men who feel their lover is cheating are right?
Armand Morin's "An Obvious Truth" is hands-down the best, no-nonsense report I have ever read about Internet Marketing. Ever.

If you've been around Internet Marketing for any length of time you have heard of Armand. He didn't invent marketing on the internet, but he sure helped. He's been doing it since 1996 and has made over $45 million, including $15 million last year alone. And he didn't make all his money selling get rich quick programs to other internet marketers. Armand is in over 1,000 niches (1,000!), he has created the best selling "Generator" software line (ECover Generator, Sells Letter Generator, EBook Generator and more) and he is constantly invited to be the featured speaker at some of the biggest internet marketing seminars each year. So I suppose he knows what he is talking about.

Before you spend hundreds or thousands of dollars on the latest, "greatest" internet marketing course -- in fact, before you spend another penny -- download Armand Morin's classic, "An Obvious Truth". It will tell you in 51 short pages more than most courses ever will. And it's totally free.

Even though the title says "Truth", the truth is that this easy-to-read 51-page report is packed full of truth after truth after truth from someone who has been there and done that since the very beginning of the internet, through the DotCom boom and bust and is still making money today. Very good money as you see above.

He starts out by stating -- and proving, mind you! -- that internet marketing is not hard. Don't believe me? Download the free report and see for yourself.

An Obvious Truth then goes on to tell you the one big difference between Armand and most people on the internet. The one truth that made him rich while they are still struggling. This alone is enough to make this the most important report on internet marketing you'll ever read. But Armand doesn't stop there, like most gurus. He goes on to show you exactly how you can turn internet marketing into a real money-making business. He looks at creating, selling and marketing of your products and your affiliate's product. He explains how and when to reinvest your money, how and why to outsource and how and why to market test. Mostly he tells you why you will never get rich chasing the "Blue Pill" of get-rich-quick schemes. All of this in just 51-pages!

There is more in this one very short report -- lots more! -- for the aspiring internet marketer than in most $99 ebooks and many $999 home study courses. If you have bought either of those (and most of us have), do yourself a favor and download this free report. It may be the best thing you ever do for your business and you will thank me and Armand Morin all the way to the bank.

I know I will definitely be using everything I have learned from Armand Morin and "An Obvious Truth". <bio>Mark Hester runs the http://internet-marketing-for-free.blogspot.com/ dedicated to searching out quality free reports and ebooks to help the aspiring internet marketer stretch his or her education dollar. Go there today and you can download Armand Morin's report, "An Obvious Truth" for free. </bio>

You can hardly turn your head these days without seeing new studies that have been done that show the importance of cutting carbs out of your diet. New diet plans are coming out all the time that claim to have the perfect combinations of foods that will magically allow you to lose all of your extra weight without lifting a finger or sacficing any of the tastes you love so much. Eating low carb foods sounds so boring and hard, but it doesn't have to.

As a registered dietician, it is my job and my joy to work with people in finding healthy food plans that are the best for them in achieving their health goals. I love sitting down with a client and discussing with them why they have made the decision to see me. Because you see, people have to get to a certain level of desperation and desire to change before they will go out of their way and make room in their tight budgets to see a dietician. I love hearing people talk about their struggles with weight and with making healthy eating choices. So many people desire to hear the truth about things like low carb foods but they have been so mis-informed by media.

Out of all the things people ask me, the questions I get most have to do with the truth about low carb foods and about switching to a low carb diet. People want to know whether or not it is an effective way to live, and if so, how they can do it without making their meals boring and bland. I love having this discussion about low carb foods because I happen to be a carb lover that has re-adjusted my eating habits in the past few years.

I tell all my clients that an important key to any health or eating program is balance. I tell them that this is why it is unrealistic and even harmful to think that we are doing good for our bodies by eliminated all carbs or all of anything from our diets. The purpose of low carb foods, which can be great, is to still enjoy the tastes and the health benefits (yes, benefits) of carbs while keeping them under control and trying to maintain your health and weight in the process.

Find some good information and read up about the truth about low carb foods if you don't have the time or money to make an appointment with a dietician. Your health is worth it. Be proactive and learn the truth. <bio>Belina Storrey is a dietician that loves to expose the truth about fads such as eating all low carb foods.
We all know that teaching children to tell the truth is an important part of parenting. However, if you've been doing the parenting thing awhile, then you've definitely run into kids from other families who believe that honesty is optional.

If you emphasize truth telling in your own home, then your kids can be puzzled by dishonest behavior in others. They often make the assumption that everyone else's family is just like theirs and it can be confusing and a bit shocking to find out differently.

This can create an awesome teaching opportunity for you, Mom or Dad.

First of all, let's be honest right here. Pretty much all kids lie at one point or another. It's a natural part of growing up and dealing with the human conflicts that beset us all. So if your child presents you with a falsehood from time to time, I wouldn't worry about it. It is a pattern of dishonesty that's a problem. And sometimes kids will meet other kids who have different values from themselves and they feel a need to 'try on' those different values to learn what happens.

Hence, your normally honest child comes home and tells you a whopper after spending the afternoon with a friend who does likewise.

What to do?

- Stay calm.

Kids are often on the lookout for our reactions. In fact, they are generally more keyed into our reactions than we are. When you are faced with what is an obvious falsehood, don't make the mistake of blowing up at your child. (And if you do, simply calm down and apologize, then press on.)

At moments like these it is always helpful to take a deep breath and step back, at least mentally. Make sure you heard correctly. Ask questions and get all the facts. You staying calm will help your child know that even when the topic is dicey, you can be trusted to talk to. You don't want to mess that up.

-- Have a conversation.

Be a detective. Ask questions. And listen, listen, listen to your child. Dig out the truth as best you can. Ask pointed questions about what others did and said. Listen for discrepancies; lies are tough to keep straight!

-- Have a refresher course in your family's values.

"You know, John, this doesn't sound like the truth to me. You know how important telling the truth is in our family. What's going on here?" Give your child a way out of the lie; getting a child to admit when they're not being honest is huge. It helps develop their conscience which will help them think twice the next time they consider lying.

-- Help them see the problem.

Once you can help your child connect the dots and see that the dishonest behavior he learned from his friend is causing him problems, you can help him turn his focus from his mistake to handling others who don't tell the truth. This empowers your child to develop self-control and be a better friend at the same time.

Brainstorm solutions with your child about what to do the next time she encounters her lying friend. Talk about how the dishonest behavior has already broken down trust between your child and her friend. Point out to her what it would be like if she knew she couldn't trust YOU to tell the truth. In other words, teach her to think for herself.

-- Practice.

Over time, continue the dialogue with your child about being truthful. Encourage him to share with you the daily stuff that happens to him and praise him when he handles tricky situations well. Role-playing is a great way to practice knowing what to say and do in difficult situations before they even arise. As your child gains confidence in his own abilities and knowledge of what's right and wrong, he will grow in his ability to recognize problem situations and make good choices on the spot.

Teaching children to tell the truth is an ongoing process. Be patient, firm with your family values, and forgiving for honest mistakes. Implement consequences when appropriate.

Above all, make sure YOU are modeling truthful behavior. Your actions have more influence on your child than all the other kids your child meets throughout his day. Use your parenting influence wisely!<bio>Colleen Langenfeld has been parenting for over 27 years and helps other moms enjoy mothering more at http://www.paintedgold.com .
3 steps to your happiness are available and easy to attain. The first step is to really look at what is going on in your life, what is working and what is not working. Take the time and give yourself a life review. Get a notebook and list the most important aspects of your life, such as health, finances, relationships and fun. Under each topic write what is working and what you want that is not there at the present time. Be honest with yourself. This simple life review takes you out of denial. When you continue to live in denial, you recreate the pains of the past. Over and over again, the same or very similar patterns show up in your life. As you follow this simple life review process, you begin to accept what is really going on in your life. Then you have a choice to change or correct the pattern. This conscious choice will begin to dissolve the old pattern and you actually are free to create a new experience for this part of your life.

Exercise: Take a moment and go inside your emotional body to a situation that caused the upset of this old pattern. Next accept how you feel when you think about this situation and pattern. Surrender the feeling and consciousness of this past experience. This takes you out of denial and begins the evolutionary path to the life you desire.

Second step is to claim the truth. When you stand and claim the truth, you put forth the truth into motion. This is energy in motion and is very powerful and will create a new life path. Jesus spoke in the Aramaic language which is a language of vibration that creates instant energy. The word Ameyn in Aramaic when used in the beginning of a statement means. I say unto you. This is the claiming process. You are sending a new vibration to the universe. The universe always give you what you are sending out or believe.

Exercise: Stand and claim the truth. Speak to the Universe by saying: I say unto you_____________fill in the blank with what you choose to experience. Repeat this statement over and over and you will continue to raise your frequency. This will allow you to continue to release more and more of the past and embrace a new vibration which is a new life of happiness and fulfillment.

Third and final step is to live the truth. Now that you have completed the two previous steps, this one will be easy and effortless. Because you proclaimed the truth, you are a new frequency and vibration, therefore, you will automatically have a different experience. More of your Sacred Self will be expressing through you into life. Living the truth is a demonstration of the higher frequency you claimed and broadcast to the universe.

Truth: Your actions reveal you intentions. As you follow these 3 steps, your intentions become very clear to the universe and they will be revealed effortlessly in your actions. You will have changed, evolved and will be happy with yourself and your life.

I am so excited to share this incredible and very simple way to your happiness and fulfillment.
There are many people that just can't stop lying. In order to avoid the truth this path is chosen. A lie that is said for someone's benefit is to cheat another. However there are some people that always lie, meaning that they are looked upon as liars for everything and anything that they might say. Anyone who has the habit of lying continuously is called as compulsive liar. It is a condition where a person is just unable to speak the truth, even if he tries to put it in a simple and truthful way there happens to be a point at which he will be unable to continue with the harsh truths and in order to avoid this he will start it all again with lying.

Compulsive lying is also like an addiction just like sex, drugs, smoking and so on. Just as a person requires help under all these conditions, the situation is the same even with compulsive lying. Any person can be a compulsive liar; your daughters, sons, husbands, wife's, girlfriends, boyfriends etc. Instead of avoiding your compulsive liar (friend or spouse) you can help them deal with this disease just like you would do in case of a more evident addiction.

For this you don't have to directly approach them and tell them that they are lying as this could hurt their feelings or make them defensive. Instead opt for a way that would help them. Try showing them that you know about the lies, but try and take it easy by telling them that you knew it was meant as a joke. Let the victim realize that there is a problem and help them. You can take the victim to psychiatrist and expect a change in him/her.

There are people that look could be blatantly lying but actually they are trying to make a joke of a particular situation. You cannot take them in the counting of compulsive liars, as they are quite different from compulsive liars. Compulsive lying is also common in children where they try to hide the truth by lying. They make false stories and try and gain their parents faith. This is not good for children, as they have the potential of becoming compulsive liars from early childhood. They become dishonest from the day they learn to use lies as their weapon to hide reality. It is common with children as they may be frightened to tell the truth, and other kids use it to get attention. Once a child starts lying compulsively he makes a habit out of it and in future it is not possible for him to gather courage to speak the truth.

If you are a compulsive liar and want to find a way out of this destructive behaviour, why not consider using hypnosis. Many people the world over have freed themselves from the need to lie, by using this simple, yet effective technique. In fact it is so simple that you can actually get an MP3 download and listen to it at your own pace in the comfort of your own home. <bio>Are you a compulsive liar who wants to stop compulsive lying? If so, check out this link to an effect hypnosis download that I highly recommend http://www.richardmackenziedirect.com/Stop-Compulsive-Lying-Hypnosis.htm </bio>

Are your children honest? Can you trust them to be truthful with yourself and others? If you believe that teaching children to tell the truth is important, then you can appreciate the value of having a plan to make that goal a reality.

While we can't make our children tell the truth at every turn, we can have a major influence in their moral development. We can make honesty the only interesting, smart and appealing choice for our kids.

And once they start down a pathway of truthful habits, those habits get stronger and more deeply ingrained each passing year. Until truth telling is simply second nature.

That's success!

Here's a simple 4 point plan for encouraging your kids to develop the lifelong habit of honesty.

1. Honesty must be valued.

This seems obvious, but here is what I've seen happen time and time again. Parents in a family like the IDEA of truth telling, but not the HARD WORK of honesty. If you value honesty, you will make being honest a priority each and every day. It is what you do, far less than what you say, that carries weight with your children.

If you are not valuing telling the truth in your family, neither will your children. Period.

2. Develop a culture of honesty.

This second point flows naturally from the first point. Once you decide that you are going to make honesty a priority in your home, look for ways to incorporate truthfulness in your everyday life. Instead of only focusing on behavior that involves lying, emphasize truthful behavior everywhere you see it. This will show both you and your child how vital a foundation of truthfulness is in daily living and that throwing the occasional lie in the mix is like throwing a wrench into a smoothly running machine, causing problems far more difficult to solve than the original issue.

3. Be consistent.

Teaching your children to tell the truth is not a one time conversation. This is a lifestyle decision which means you will need to examine your own actions in light of being honest. Do you believe there is ever a time to tell a lie that's acceptable? What ethics are involved in that decision? Is that decision made for your benefit or for the benefit of others?

These are difficult questions, but wrestling with them will clarify your own position on honesty and ready you to help your child work through these same ethical issues as they grow.

If you find you have trouble being consistent in your own honesty and you'd like to change that, help yourself consider new points of view by studying religious and philosophical books on the subject. Start a discussion with other parents like yourself who want to bring up their children in a conscientious manner also.

4. Use examples.

Literature is filled with examples of both honesty and dishonesty. So is our modern culture. Movies, songs, television shows and the local newspaper show the consequences of people who have not decided to be honest in a variety of ways.

Talk to your kids about these examples. Learn to observe when people are telling the truth and when they are lying. Help your kids to think about how they feel when someone is dishonest with them. To foster discussion, you can ask that each member of your family notice one act of honesty or dishonesty each day and be ready to discuss that information at the dinner table. This type of activity is invaluable in creating the culture of honesty we talked about above.

So if teaching your children to tell the truth is a high priority for your family, you can use this simple 4 point plan to keep your parenting focused on creating a culture of honesty by valuing the trait, being consistent and incorporating life examples into your family's daily routine.

Such deliberate character training is sure to help your kids start down a solid pathway of honesty.<bio>Colleen Langenfeld has been parenting for over 27 years and helps other moms enjoy mothering more at http://www.paintedgold.com .
As a financial consultant, I am amazed at what a small amount of understanding most of my clients have of credit card companies and how they work. I find that many financial struggles people go through could be lessened significantly simply through education about credit card companies and other significant factors that influence our financial situations greatly.

It is for this reason that I have shifted the entire focus of my career to becoming a financial consultant whose emphasis is on financial education. I realized that the teacher in me needs an avenue to communicate with people and so I have shifted focus. Why? Not simply because I love being able to teach, but also because I have a huge issue with how little understanding people have of the most basic information about finances. I began my new job by taking a ton of surveys to the streets. One of my main surveys was to collect information about people's views of credit card companies.

You might be shocked to learn what a poor understanding of credit card companies that people have today. So few people realize that for the most part, credit card companies are out to get you and to make you pay as much in fees and in interest as possible. I was amazed by the number of people who honestly felt like paying the minimum monthly fee to their credit card companies was really the way to go.

If you or someone you know is in great need of learning the truth about credit card companies or about anything else to do with finances, then look for a financial consultant in your area today. Set up a meeting and bring a list of prepared questions to discuss with the consultant. Your goal is to get the truth about as many areas of finances as you can. You cannot live your life in denial of the fact that finances play a huge role in life, so be proactive and learn about credit card companies and all of the other potential enemies you have to watch out for in handling your money.

Learn that credit card companies want you to overspend and to pay them interest for many months and years because of it. Learn that people are out to get you and that you need to be aware of the truth of credit card companies and other financial institutions. <bio>Belina Storrey is a financial consultant that loves to unveil the truth about credit card companies.
Remember that popular song, "Feelings"? We live in a world that places a lot of emphasis on feelings. If it feels good do it! There is nothing wrong with feelings. A world without passion or feeling would be a very dull place. Who would want to live in a world without feelings?

The problem occurs when we equate feelings with the truth. A lot of pop psychology has contributed to this belief. The prevailing thought is "get in touch with your feelings" or "trust your feelings." Quite frankly, that kind of existence scares me just a little. What would happen if everyone lived out of their emotions? I think it would get a little nutty.

For starters, I know we would definitely have a lot more road rage to deal with on a daily basis. For me, personally, it would mean that I would stop writing this article and immediately leave for the beach for a month. That would just be the beginning! After my trip, I would definitely go on a huge shopping spree! I think you get the point.

Feelings and emotions can be very powerful and strong pulls in our life for good or for evil. They can even be important for us to consider when we make decisions, but the truth is they are just "feelings". They definitely are not predictable and they don't always equal the truth or the facts. In fact, sometimes they can be diametrically opposed to the facts.

Has this ever happened to you? You may feel someone doesn't like you. You believe it's the truth and so you respond out of those feelings, only to find out at a later time that person liked you after all. If you had continued to operate on your feelings alone, you would have totally missed out on a relationship with that person. What about the person who experiences a panic attack? At the time that it is happening, the person feels like they are not going to make it. They feel like they're going to die. Having survived one myself, I now know those overwhelming feelings were not in sync with reality at all.

In this world, where we place so much emphasis on emotions and feelings, too many people live out of their emotions. It's as if they have no control over their feelings. It's more like their feelings drive and control them. For them, feelings equal the facts or the truth. I "feel" it so it must be true, and so their feelings jerk them around, dictate their moods and decisions in life. I "feel" worthless so why bother? I "feel" love for this person, so it must be so. The next thing you know they have run off with another person, even though they may be married. "We were so in love", they say! It's amazing the choices and decisions that can be rationalized and justified because of feelings or emotions.

Please don't misunderstand me, feelings and emotions can be grand and no doubt enhance our lives in many ways. In fact, feelings can be a valuable part of the decision-making process, but can never be a substitute for the facts. When facts are at odds with feelings, it is better that the feelings change than the facts be ignored. <bio>Janet Daughtry, MDiv, CBC, is a Certified Life Coach helping women to realize their potential and fulfill their purpose.
The 3 or 4 trips I have had to Pattaya, I have gone out on at least one trip. These have been difficult as waking up at noon is early for me while on holiday. But, I have made it a point to see at least one point of interest and have had a good time everywhere I have gone.

The first time I did this, I visited the Sanctuary of Truth. I had never heard of this place and couldn't recall ever seeing it mentioned at all on the Internet -- that has changed -- but at the time there was no web page and it wasn't listed anywhere on the "things to do in Pattaya" sites.

I decided to go to the Sanctuary of Truth after looking through a binder of brochures at a sidewalk tour vendor. Total cost was to be 1000 Baht for me and another 1000 Baht for the young lady with me. This worked out to about 25 dollars apiece.

So, what did we get for our $25? We were picked up at the guesthouse and hopped in the van and headed out. After about 20 minutes we had arrived at the most amazing temple I had ever seen. Completely hand-carved out of different types of wood right along the Gulf of Siam. Describing it here would not come close to doing it justice -- so I will just have to tell you -- if you are in Pattaya -- go to the Sanctuary of Truth.

After a guided tour of the temple, we hopped on horses and were guided around the grounds at a slow trot. I hadn't been on a horse since I was a teen, and it was a fun way to spend an hour.

Then it was time for our included lunch. We were given a burger, fries and a drink and the food was very good. Even the Thai girl I was with liked it.

After, lunch it was time to see the dolphin show. It was very professional and entertaining. The dolphin show reminded me of shows I had seen before in Florida and Hawaii.

We still had some time left, so we wandered back to the temple and walked around again on our own. It is one of those places that just makes you stand and stare in awe at the beauty and grace of the carvings.

At about 4 PM it was time to head back to the room and we got back in our van for the short ride home. So, for 25 dollars you get a guided tour of a beautiful temple, horseback ride, lunch, dolphin show and transportation. This tour is highly recommended and can be booked by any hotel or sidewalk travel vendor. <bio>Larry Westfall is the owner of http://www.pattayacrazy.com </bio>

Are we as Americans post-truth? Possibly, but we may just have diluted the meaning or concept. There are many truths in our society. Multiple truths. We even have the concept of "my truth" and "your truth". What is truth? Many have hypothesized about truth, and many have sought to define it. Some have sought to redefine it. Still, the unanswered question rings through the totality of human existence: What is truth?

Well, in the strictest sense of the word, truth is the actual reality that transcends all other viewpoints. In the past, the person who was "truthful" or "told the truth" was one who represented the actual reality in an accurate manner. The modern world has no such views. Indeed, a transcendent, actual reality is an oft-debated subject in our society. Where the society of the 40's and 50's acknowledged absolutes, modern cultures quibble over shades of gray, meaning, and paradigms.

Notice how I changed the subject there: From truth to absolutes. I'm going to change it yet again, from absolutes, to a synonym: constants. The argument for truth that is changeable based on your personal point of view is known as relativism. If the result is changed based on your point of view, then we are dealing with something that is variable. So, we are now dealing with constants and variables. Can you see where I am heading?

A variable is merely the container for a constant. A variable can act on a constant, but the variable must have a constant value. Therefore, both must be constant in order to come to a result. Otherwise, all you are left with is an unsolved problem. This is what the modern world is: An unsolved problem. Often, this is how modern cinema ends. A meandering protagonist and a plot device find life hard and meaningless, without any real solutions.

If you are in doubt of the effect relativism has on our lives, let me direct your attention to the ending of an Oscar winning film, "Lost in Translation". I'll never forget watching the ending of that film. It left me feeling both despondent and incredulous. I was despondent because Bill Murray and Scarlet Johanssen didn't get together, make a life together, do something together. I was incredulous, because I found myself rooting for adultery, for selfishness, and an abandonment of loyalties based on convenience.

The movie ended with the characters choosing the correct path, embracing hard truths, and not compromising their relationships. The film had set me up through its narrative to come to the conclusion that adultery was the best path to be taken, that they should be free to pursue what was right for them. Let the reader understand this: I believe in absolutes, especially those of the moral variety. Most people would just call this experience a side-effect of "suspension of disbelief". How did I allow my concept of morality to be hijacked? After all, this is not some gray area. Adultery, murder, rape, theft, these are things that all of society has general moral agreement upon, even if the mode or severity of punishment is contested.

There is no "suspension of disbelief", rather identification, because I would have done all of these things if given half a chance. Their choice of the correct path catches my hand in the cookie jar that they shut. Aye, there's the rub. It's absolutely wrong unless we are the ones implicated, or somebody we care deeply about commits the travesty. There is a common saying that everyone in prison is innocent. They are just victims of circumstantial evidence, a bad rap, or were framed. This is the argument that relativism makes: I'm not guilty, you just refuse to see things from my perspective.

The problem is this: Our point of view can be wrong. Relativism refuses to acknowledge our propensity to dissemble, stretch, bend, break, and otherwise disregard the constant that is truth, just to save ourselves. Truth is constant, irrefutable, and doesn't wear well in the infinite spin cycle that is American politics. Truth is absolute, unyielding in purity.

The truth is we are guilty of violating Truth. We can fudge it by choosing to never come to a conclusion, to leave the obvious solution to the problem unsolved. We can relegate it to the screaming death of our own consciences. We can bury it 'til its troubled voice is muffled, and weary of crying for release. It will not go away. Like the tell-tale heart of Poe, its beating grows ever louder until we must confess our misdeeds.

Or, we can ignore it. We can drown it out with the confused babblings of Oprah, and the need to maintain self-esteem. We can condemn ourselves to the hell of a life without meaning or direction, devoid of all comfort. The truth will still exist. The truth will never die, though we will. The Truth remains, should time itself breath a gasping, stilted, final breath.

What is truth? The question has been formed improperly. The query should be structured in this manner: "Who is Truth, and how do we stand in relation to this person?". If the Truth makes us guilty of wrongdoing, and convicts us of our evident misdeeds, be they ever so slight(and let's face it, they're not), then how do we align ourselves with Truth. How do we, in the way the ancients proposed, become one with Truth and with the Prime Mover? Perhaps we should allow Truth to testify of himself, and leave it at that. After all, the verdict of Truth is absolute. That which absolute, and that which is constant will give us direction in this life, and continue on into eternity. My words fall short, so I will let Truth speak:

"Jesus told him, "I am the way, the Truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had known who I am, then you would have known who my Father is. From now on you know him and have seen him!"

John 14:6-7 New Living Translation, The Bible<bio>Kurt Hartman is head of Employee Training at Mobile Fleet Service, Inc., and an unapologetic Christian. His company sells mining tires on 6 of 7 continents.</bio>

In today's performance driven society people are forced to deal with stress at very a young age. Teenagers are constantly driven to compete for the best or the highest at school, amongst peers they are constantly fighting for acceptance usually based on how "in" they are with today's trends. The way they talk, dress and act are all governed by standards set by the media and cultural icons.

Introducing Teenage Stress Management at Home?

Children are motivated and driven, even bribed to perform well from a very young age. Course materials and parental expectations usually work up a great deal of stress that neither the child nor the parent recognize or address. As soon as the child enters into his/her teens, there are a lot physiological changes that take place which adds a great deal to the already existing load of stress. Let's look at three very important aspects of teenage stress management.

1.Communication

The first step towards teenage stress management is that you establish and keep communication lines open. You should be able to talk with your teenager at any time you need to and he/she should be able to do so, too. This habit should be cultivated right from childhood when you should establish a feeling in the child's mind and heart that you are there any time he/she needs to talk with you.

2.Prefatory Counseling

Preparing the child for the changes he/she will face is another extremely important step in teenage stress management. This prefatory counseling should happen well in advance. For example a child should be told about the changes in their bodies when they are around 11or 12 years old; they should also be assured that everything is normal and expected.

3.Telling the truth

Teenagers usually suffer greatly when parents do not pull along. When there is a divorce in the family they tend to blame themselves for the fall-out between the parents. Keep the children in the loop if you are not pulling along and try as much as possible to keep your arguments private.

In the case of a divorce teenage stress management would involve telling the truth. Never lace up the truth or try to give it some sort of artificial flavor. The children deserve to know the truth. <bio>Learn how to control your stress, don't let stress control You!
In today's society, it seems as if myths are all around us. There are myths about how you can lose weight, how you can make money online, and so forth. What you may not necessarily know is that there are also myths associated with fish tanks. Yes; fish tanks. Many of these myths are centered on custom aquariums.

If you are interested in buying a custom aquarium, you are urged not to fall victim to the many custom aquarium myths. Should you mistakenly believe these myths, you may end up not purchasing a custom aquarium. You never really know, but that could result in you missing out on the one of the best purchases of your lifetime. The best way to not fall victim to the many custom aquarium myths is to know what they are. A few of the most common myths are outlined below.

MYTH: Custom aquariums are only for the rich and famous.

TRUTH: This myth actually couldn't be farther from the truth. Custom aquariums are not just for the rich and famous. In fact, custom aquariums are ideal for just about anyone and for any purpose. There are a large number of "everyday," individuals who have custom aquariums in their homes or in their businesses.

MYTH: Custom aquariums are only for business owners, not homeowners.

TRUTH: As with the above mentioned myth, it is important to remember that custom aquariums are actually for all individuals. Yes, custom fish tanks are commonly found inside public establishments, namely businesses, but they can also be found inside many homes. Essentially, if you want to purchase a custom aquarium, whether that aquarium is for your home or your office, you should be able to do so.

MYTH: Custom aquariums are expensive.

TRUTH: While it is possible to find quite a few custom aquariums that are expensive or ones that are finically out of your reach, you should still have a number of custom aquariums to choose from. Custom aquariums, like all other aquariums, are available for a wide range of different prices. With a little bit of research, you should be able to find a custom aquarium that is within your budget.

MYTH: Custom aquariums are a waste of money.

TRUTH: This is another myth that couldn't be farther from the truth. When you actually think about it, custom aquariums are a wise purchase and they can even be considered an investment. Almost all custom aquariums, at least the best ones, are made from acrylic materials. These materials are known to be strong, durable, and dependable. In fact, that is why many fish tank suppliers and manufacturers actually offer warranties on their aquariums, including custom aquariums. With a warranty, you know that you are purchasing a quality custom aquarium; one that will not be a waste of your money.

MYTH: Custom aquariums are only aquariums that are large in size, like in-wall aquariums.

TRUTH: Custom aquariums come in all different sizes, shapes, and styles. In fact, that is the beauty of ordering a custom aquarium; you pretty much get to help design the aquarium that you would like to purchase. While a large number of custom aquariums are large in size, there are many medium sized or even small sized custom aquariums. When a custom aquarium is ordered, it is most commonly ordered because the purchaser couldn't find what they were looking for elsewhere. While there are some custom aquarium restrictions, depending on the manufacturer in question, custom aquariums can be purchased in a wide variety of different sizes, shapes, and styles.

MYTH: Custom aquariums can only be ordered directly through a fish tank manufacturer.

TRUTH: Yes, a fish tank manufacturer will likely be the one making your custom aquarium, but you don't have to place your order directly with the manufacturer. There are a number of fish tank supply stores, both on and offline, that work directly with many fish tank manufacturers. These retail stores, such as FishTanksDirect.com, can take and process all custom aquarium orders, including yours.

Now that you know some of the many myths associated with custom aquariums, you are less likely to fall victim to those myths. With any large purchase, like the purchase of a custom aquarium, you are encouraged to thoroughly examine your decision to make sure that it is the right one for you. <bio>Fish Tanks are a wonderful addition for any home. Relax in your house and find tranquility with your very own acrylic aquariums. A number of health officials say that fish tanks can actually reduce stress. http://www.fishtanksdirect.com </bio>

By the time I finish writing this article I am going to need peace my self. Writing is a journey that sometimes like life is frustrating. The career of writing like life put demands, stress, and sweat from hard work on persons, while giving little in return. If you believe that last remark, let me tell you another one.

Writers are gifted people and the rewards are there, but like everything else, they arrive at a slow pace. Inner peace is similar to writing; since you work...work...work...work...and the rewards of your efforts seem miles away.

Do you want inner peace? Sure, we all want inner peace, or at least nearly all of us do. How do you achieve inner peace? Do you have the ability to use your mind over matter to control your psyche? If not then you must live, learn, read, and practice in order to reach your peace of mind.

What are you doing to achieve your inner peace? Some people go to Church believing it is the answer to finding inner quietness of the mind. This is not true in many cases, because unfortunately (like many other sources in life) churches do not always have the truth.

What is the truth? Do you know? Do you scramble through each day searching by means of the subconscious mind to find answers to your question, yet fell to see the answers because you are afraid to meet your subconscious mind?

Until you find truth, you will not find inner peace. Regardless of what you've heard throughout your lifetime the truth is somewhere within you. Even if you do not have the entire truth, you have more than you think. We are all born with the gift of inner peace and the gift of truth. Ethnic is truth. Thus, it is people of all natures living in the world of havoc to join in union.

Peace in true definition is a quietness of the mind. If the mind requires quietness then it is up to you to shut up the argumentation that goes on between the emotions, subconscious, and conscious mind.

The subconscious mind has goodies waited inside, and it is up to you to hunt them down and find it. Once you make contact with your subconscious, you will be surprised what comes out. To do this, it takes skill, effort, patients, long-suffering, and the ability to find your way out of havoc and into inner peace.

Quietness of the mind means there is no area for suffering, pain, and was obtained will go to lengths to remain in tact from the chaos.

During your time searching for inner peace, you will need to learn how to liberate the mind. Liberating the mind means, you are willing to give all your guilt, prejudices, shame, lies, negative thoughts, and other harmful thinking to God and let go for life.

Once you reach this agreement with self then you will feel peace within your being and once you gain this feeling continue to let go and fight for your inner peace.

Well, we are nearing the end now of this article. I hope that you have learned from this work, since peace is everything, and like you, I want inner peace for everyone. This brings us to another point. We cannot control others; therefore, we must learn to control self. When you spend time controlling others you are burning up energy that could be utilized to find and save your inner peace.

Asking questions will bring forth light. Thus, finding inner peace means that you must learn to communicate with self. Once you learn the strategies of communication, or the creativity of communication you will have the tool you need to move along without stumbling along the way. Do you believe what I said in the last few words of the sentence? If you think, you are not going to stumble along the way to finding inner peace, stop and read this article again. <bio>Without confidence, you would not be able to go on and implement what you have in mind.
Today, there is much darkness that covers events and people on the world stage - in nations where violence is everywhere and no one is safe, in governments where deception is widespread and honesty barely visible, and among groups of people who are willing to hate and blame others who are different from themselves. All of these forms of darkness abound in the world at present.

Yet in the midst of this, in the midst of the wars, genocides, and conflicts, in the midst of the hatreds born out of illusion and neglect, a new breeze is blowing - the breeze of truth and of hope. This is a current of energy that is based in spiritual light that seeks out deception and exposes it. It seeks out fraud and undermines it. It seeks out what is good and true among leaders and tries to rid leadership of that which may have been long-established, but which is lacking in moral fiber.

Spiritual light brings into focus the truth of all things. The truth of one's own inner nature. The truth of what peoples and governments are really about. The truth of the agendas of the powerful. It exposes these agendas so that there is no longer a place for them to hide. It illuminates them, so there is no longer an audience willing to be gullible, willing to be deceived. Wherever, on the earth, deception has taken place at the hands of the mighty, there, light will do the work of uncovering and of revealing that which is really taken place.

Already, there have been many such revelations in countries around the world. Already, what has gone on behind the scenes, justified by security needs and by the ability of a select few to use power in secretive ways =96 these manipulations are more and more coming to light, and those who have practiced them are increasingly being asked to become more accountable. For it is the 'day of the revelation of truth', and greater amounts of truth will be exposed to the world's attention until deception is rooted out from the hiding place where it has lived =96 until it becomes unable to find a dwelling place any longer.

This passage from falsehood to truth in governments, among people, within communities, and in all walks of life where people strive to get ahead at the expense of others, has often involved the justification of deception in service to the desire for power or control of different kinds. This will no longer be allowed to continue as the energy of light further transforms the spiritual atmosphere of the earth. For light brings with it a 'truth-telling' function. Even now, when just a little has been exposed of hidden agendas and behind-the-scenes movements that were unknown just a short time ago - even now, the uncovering of truth is gaining momentum. It will continue to do so until there is no stone unturned, no rock that may hide falsehood beneath it.

While this applies on a large scale to governments and peoples, it also applies on a smaller scale to each individual consciousness which, in the presence of greater spiritual light, will find revealed within itself, all that has remained hidden, repressed, denied, or avoided in the past. This revelation of one's own truth will be a great gift to some and a great burden to others. For it will mean that individuals will have to face themselves in new ways, and deal with feelings that may have been brushed aside before.

In the long run, the power of light to create a more truthful world will cleanse it of those elements that have been hiding behind pat phrases and glib posturing in order to appear honest and concerned with the welfare of all. This 'seeming', wherever it occurs, will be replaced by true compassion, by caring for others, and by wanting to rid oneself of all that stands in the way of greater love.

The merging of light and truth has great power to change the world, and already the world has the possibility of becoming new. The beginning of this purification is all around us and within us. It is infiltrating all the hidden places of the heart and mind so that bright new beings can emerge from the shadows of the past. It is awakening a longing for honesty and compassion, so that old ways of being are no longer acceptable. It is declaring the virtue of love so that the taking up of arms no longer becomes the preferential choice. And it is infusing the consciousness of mankind, so that a new and sacred world can be created on this holy Earth. <bio>Julie Redstone is a teacher, writer, and founder of Light Omega =96 http://lightomega.org - a center for spiritual teaching and healing whose purpose is to create an understanding of the sacred transition into light that the earth is presently going through. </bio>

If you lead a busy life and you can never seem to find the time to get to the gym, then the Muscle Gain Truth `No Fail System' is just the workout for you. Sean Nalewanyj was one of those guys everybody called `skinny', and he was tired of it. After spending months lifting weights religiously in the gym, he figured he must be doing something wrong. After doing a significant amount of research he eventually unlocked several key secrets to gaining muscle that most people have never heard of!

Everybody has heard the "work smarter, not harder" axiom. Well, Sean Nalewanyj has really taken this to heart with his Muscle Gain Truth `No Fail System'. This exercise program combines some of the most important discoveries in sports nutrition with recent findings in the ways muscle groups develop. By understanding the subtle chemical forces which break down and build muscles up stronger than before, Sean Nalewanyj has been able to construct a fitness and bodybuilding plan that is as close to scientifically perfect as any you've ever seen before.

The key to Sean Nalewanyj's Muscle Gain Truth workout is maintaining an anabolic state of cell metabolism. This essentially means keeping adequate oxygen flowing to your muscles while you exercise. It might sound simple, but Sean Nalewanyj shows us how many bodybuilders and even professional fitness trainers neglect this simple but powerful muscle gain truth. Maintaining anabolic metabolic processes involves a complex combination of the right diet, the right exercises and the right breathing techniques, and took Sean nearly ten years to develop fully!

Fortunately it won't take you that long to master it! With a carefully structured diet and no more than 2 hours and 45 minutes per week in the gym Sean claims that you will see significant improvement in under 8 weeks if you use his system. What's more is that he claims that once you adopt his system you will be able to maintain a more active, healthy and happy lifestyle and keep that muscle on for as long as you like! Sean believes that long term results are the only results worth working for, and his workout plan is structured to build your body for life!

A lot of people give the excuse that they do not have a fast enough metabolism to lose fat and gain muscle, or that they have the wrong genes for muscle building. It is true that some peoples' muscles contain more fibers than others, and these people have an easier time of building muscle. But Sean Nalewanyj believes that there is no reason people who are naturally skinny cannot have the body they've always desired =96 and he's living proof!

After high school Sean weighed in at a little over 120 pounds and having been the subject of humiliation many times he decided to develop a workout that would work properly for his body type, and you can see the results! His Muscle Gain Truth complete system is now one of the most widely used in America, and it has helped hundreds of thousands of people just like you gain the body and the confidence they always wanted, but were always told they couldn't have.

In as little as 24 minutes a day Sean Nalewanyj claims he can show you results that you would never have thought possible =96 and all without any supplements, hormones or drugs. Sean's complete program also includes free membership to the `School of Muscle' =96 a private social network now being called the `Muscle Myspace', valued at $10, as well as loads of bonus material that will help you develop the fitness program that is perfect for you. <bio>John Ripper is a fitness freak.
With as many as 50% of all children being overweight in this country, parents are beginning to realize that something must be done. There is no shortage of information about nutrition and exercise, but the task of helping an overweight child without setting them up for a lifetime of dieting is a daunting challenge. Parents who understand the five truths of getting a child's weight on track can begin to address the issue in a healthy and effective way.

Truth #1: Parents are the problem AND the solution. Heavy kids eat too much and they don't get enough exercise. It's that simple. Parents of overweight children must own up to the fact that they are allowing and enabling their children to eat too much and move too little. Once parents accept this, they will begin to understand that they have tremendous power to solve their child's weight problem.

Truth #2: Kids need to be educated. You may know how much, and what kinds of foods your child should eat. And you may expect that your children have the common sense to know, too. But did it ever occur to you that your children really don't know? They understand that too much is bad and that some foods are better than others. But without education, they have no idea why, or what effects eating too much of the wrong things have on how they look and feel in their daily lives. Once they are educated, children take great pride in becoming good stewards of their own bodies through activity and nutrition.

Truth #3: An overweight child is a family issue. Whether one, some or all in a family are overweight, solving a child's weight problem must become a priority for the entire family. Otherwise, a child can feel singled out, different and ashamed. Getting the whole family involved helps with the child's self-esteem by letting them know they are part of a powerful team that will help ensure success.

Truth #4: Your child has an "ideal weight." No two children are alike, but your child does have a "normal" weight range based on their height, gender and age. They also require a set number of calories each day. Knowing a child's normal weight range and knowing how many calories they require is fundamental to getting their weight on track.

Truth #5: Parents need a plan. Losing weight is not rocket science. But changing the habits and lifestyle of a family in today's busy world is difficult and multi-dimensional. Especially when the emotional well-being of a fragile overweight child is at stake Parents need a plan and they need perseverance. Many parents fail because don't have a solid, long-term plan for success.
