Summer is waiting for you. You may have planned for chill outings like beaches and seashores. Before packing everything, you have to take your swim suit. Do you want to get a new one? No prob, you can get it easily in markets. Before buying a bath suit, you are advised to pay attention on certain things like the size of the bath suit, the colour, the material of the suit, the cost and the design. Make sure about all these things, then go for shopping.

Things to take into account

1.Design or Style It is not advisable to buy a too long or too short bath suits. Both will make you to face embarrassments unexpectedly. When you choose a lengthy bottom, you may not be comfortable and may not get a pretty look. Conversely if you buy a too small bath suit, unexpectedly they may spill out. It must be fitted perfectly to face big waves. Make a trail even at your home. Take a look in mirror from the back side.

2.Choose a best colour The choice of colour must be pretty good. Don't go for very light colours. They may expose you badly. Better avoid see-through colour like white, pale yellow, pink etc. Those colours will be too transparent when it gets wet.

3.Material Though there are different materials available in markets, go for best one. Synthetics are always considered as better though it gets wet. They will not get fading. Synthetics can perform better against the salt water or chloride water.

4.Have an additional pair Don't go to beach resorts or beaches just with one swim suit. Keep a spare with you. Therefore you can extend the life of the bath swim.

5.Try out through on-line You can get more varieties, designs, colours and patterns through on-line shopping than traditional shops. The stress to choose a right swim suit can also be reduced. It is important to choose a reputed and trustworthy designer or company. You may not feel free to choose your swim suit as you like before the sales women. Make sure about the return policy if it is unfit for you.

Try these golden tips to get a perfect swim suit. Enjoy and have fun in this summer with your eye-catchy swim suits. <bio>Find http://www.edealsuk.com/discount-beach-swim-wear.aspx, http://www.edealsuk.com/discount-beach-swim-wear.aspx with cashback discounts from leading stores. </bio>

Bathing suits, also known as swim suits, are clothes designed for swimming, and go by my different names and styles, depending on their purpose and make. The use of bathing suits these days is a matter of tradition rather than "decency," although in the west (the Americas) modesty is still a stringently enforced attitude when swimming in public.

Another use for bathing suits is the display in beauty pageants. Sports Illustrated features an annual swim suit edition, which tends to look upon the bathing suit in terms of fashion, just as pageants do.

History of the Bathing suit

The use of bathing suits goes back as far as the Classical Greek period. Although bathing at that time was done primarily in the nude, some apparel did exist, as can be seen in ancient murals at Pompeii where women of Ancient Greece are displayed in two-piece bikini-like bathing suits. Since then, bathing suits seemed to have vanished for centuries.

It wasn't until the eighteenth century that bathing suits showed up again in the form of "bathing gowns." Women wore long dresses made from a non-thinning material that prevented transparency when wet. These bathing suits also featured little weights hung around the lower hem to restrain them from rising in the water. The men wore close-fitting, long-sleeved bathing suits similar to modern-day long johns that were made out of wool. These bathing suits were, to say the least, intended to maintain modesty.

The nineteenth century brought the two-piece bathing suits for the women, featuring a gown shoulder-to-knees over a set of well-fitted pants extending to the ankles. Men, needless to say, had similar bathing suits, only without the gown. With these, style was coming into play, but modesty was still an ongoing tradition.

Radical changes in style and attitude came in a flash during the twentieth century when bathing, and bathing suits, became less conservative and more casual and practical. Such modesty, although still respected and upheld throughout the world, especially in the west, gave way to comfort and fashion. Collars fell from the neck to the chest, and the bottoms rose upward.

The bikini came into being not too long after World War II, when glamour photography put the spotlight on the fashionable and beauty aspects of bathing and bathing suits. Named after Bikini Atoll, a nuclear weapon site, the bikini so related itself due to the "explosive" attraction it played on the eyes and the minds of the viewers. It's in this sense that bathing suits turned from articles of traditional swimwear to an expression of fashion. Oo, la la!

In the 1950s, fashion designer Rudi Gernriech introduced the monokini, which was merely a bikini without the top half. Women were suggested to go bare-breasted. This bathing suit failed commercially, but brought about new fashion insights. Then the mighty thong of the 1980s revealed yet more, but, again, in the name of fashion and naturalness. With changing purposes for the bathing suits, people's attitudes shifted from the need for modesty to that of sensual attraction.

In modern times, specialized bathing suits are made for scuba diving and competitive swimming. Unitards and diveskins made of spandex reduce skin drag, and although these bathing suits do not promote thermal protection, they do protect the skin from stings, abrasions, cuts, and scratches. These bathing suits are even designed to enhance swimming motion.

Today, bathing suits come in a variety of interesting styles and appearances, depending on personal preference: tank suits (one-piece), monokinis, sling bikinis ("suspender thong"), pretzel suits, string-bodies, halter-necks, maillots, and plunge fronts--anything and everything! Many of the names are as sexually explicit as the suits!

Modern-day Bathing suits reflect a diversity of swimmers, and have become, to say the least, emblems of human sexuality. <bio>Find more Bathing Suit resources at http://www.Hot-Bathing-Suit.info, and other great topics here http://www.information-checkstop.info. </bio>

Wet suits are typically a personal choice in Triathlon competitions unless you are a member of a team that mandates a definite type of suits. Nevertheless, triathlon as a whole is an individual sport which allows participants to choose their personal gears, equipments and suits.

The major gears aside, the wet suit plays one of the major roles in helping you win or lose the game. Sometimes, it creates the make or break momentum. The mile you have earned during the swim period may be lost only because your wet suit failed you.

The best wet suits are those that fit snugly into the athlete's body. This may sound easy yet the differences are told by the unique body build the racer has. People are often fooled by the impression that the wet suit does not fit correctly when all the while, it has the proper fit saying andquot;the suit is too tight'.

Proper fitting can't actually be given by standard measures. However, the general rule of thumb dictates that there must never be any leaks in regions covering the neck, arms and the feet. While most wet suits work on the principle of trapping enough layer of water between the skin and the neoprene (which by the way is the typical choice of material among racers), the space must not still allow a constant flow of water.

The fit tells it all. Most racers in the triathlon don't get the advantages of wet suits because either the suit doesn't fit well or they don't wear it right.

When wearing your wet suit, on practice or during the competition, it is best that you leave your socks on. This will act as a lubricant for the entrance of your feet on the holes of your suit. To prevent your toenails from snagging or stretching the neoprene, a very delicate material, you can use non-petroleum products to make the removal easier during the transition stage.

Be sure that the crotch fits snugly as this may tell the difference. Without its proper placement, the upper part of the wet suit may fit poorly. Once you are comfortable with the pants, the next thing you would want to do is to secure the upper suit. It is just a matter of pulling it and sliding your arms into the holes.

If you are using a full wet suit, you must secure to it that there is no space between your armpit and the neoprene. <bio>This content is provided by Low Jeremy.
We've all met people through the years who have insisted, andquot;I can't swim.andquot; Or, andquot;I never learned how to swim.andquot; These people are steadfast in their claim, and they stand by it firmly. andquot;Nope, can't swim.andquot; That's just IT.

To most of us, this is perplexing because 1) we either were andquot;taughtandquot; how to swim at an early age by being thrown into the water by caring but andquot;learn-by-doingandquot; parents, 2) we took swimming classes at some point, usually also in our youth; or, 3) we didn't think anything of just andquot;throwing ourselves inandquot; at the nearest swimming hole, lake or river.

So the question is, are there some people, who enjoy otherwise excellent health, who just cannot swim? Are there those who lack the basic ability? What do we say to these andquot;I can't swimandquot; types? How can we begin to learn to respond with an intellectual, researched, well-informed answer?

It's simple. Though you don't have to start an argument, the truth, scientists have determined, is that all human beings, excepting those with obvious physical challenges, absolutely CAN swim.

But how do they know?

Again, it's back to brass tacks. Think about this particular scenario: Suddenly, you find yourself on an airplane, securely fitted with a parachute. Someone quickly tells you where to pull the plug to activate the parachute, and then just pushes you out of that plane. Of course, you're terrified, flying in the open air -- just absolutely shocked.

Guess what happens next? You're going to get over it, and you're going to pull that plug. And the parachute will open, and you will float to land, and there will be people there to assist you upon landing.

Didn't think you could do it? It's all about the basic human instinct of self-protection and preservation. We do NOT want to get hurt or, worse, die. We will do almost anything, and our brains will excrete those infamous andquot;adrenaline-pumpingandquot; cells through our veins, to help us do whatever we possibly can to survive.

The same goes for the luxury and utter simplicity of swimming, floating, treading water, diving, competitive swimming, deep-sea diving, exploring under the sea, swimming with dolphins, and literally hundreds of other ways to relax, get exercise, and have abundant joy in the water.

So, have no fear! Come on, it's as natural as breathing. If you can't swim, you just haven't challenged yourself enough; try it, and you'll be surprised: You CAN swim! <bio>Yvonne Volante, the author, is a big fan of swimming and writes for rdoswimming.com, which is the premier swimming resource on the internet.
I recently had an epiphany. Many may consider it a minor feat, yet for me it feels like a big accomplishment. I did something I didn't think I could do and I changed my own image of myself. I also learned something that can be applied to most everything in life.

I have never thought of myself as a swimmer. Sure, I took lessons when I was a kid just like everyone else, but I struggled with it. I did not find it easy. I thought everyone else was a better swimmer than me and I did not think I could do it. So I didn't swim. For years and years I just didn't even try.

But this summer I was inspired. I wanted to swim. Not just swim, I wanted to become a good swimmer. Being a Mommy is definitely inspirational and my inspiration to swim came from my two-year-old daughter. My beautiful little daughter inspired me. I took her to a mommy-tot class and she loved it. Every time she was in the pool she loved it. She seems to be natural at it, just the opposite of what I was. Her lessons have been over for weeks yet still every single day at 8:00 in the morning, she puts on her swimsuit and she is ready to go to the pool.

My family always enjoyed boating and water-skiing, but my lack of skill in swimming never seemed to be a problem, after all I could always grab the life jacket! But watching my daughter swim and feeling the joy she felt, I realized that my family was going to be a swimming family and as the Mom, I needed to catch up!

So, I decided I would start to improve my swimming skills by swimming laps. I asked the swim instructor when the lap lanes were mostly empty so I didn't interrupt any of the triathletes or the regulars and I just decided to do it.

At first I was tentative, I didn't know how I would do. After all, it had been 30 years or more since I did any serious swimming and even then I was never comfortable. So I started with a kickboard and I went across the pool a few times. But that got real boring, real fast. So I tried to swim and breathe and swim and breathe. I remembered how, I realized that I just needed to practice. The first time I made it all the way across without stopping I was elated. But the breathing was the scary part. So I concentrated on breathing and as I got better I realized that the trick with breathing in the water is not the "Inhale" but rather the "Exhale"-the releasing of all of the air in your lungs to make room to bring in more air. You have to release the resistance of the last breath in order to get the next breath. Soon I was able to breathe easily in the pool.

Now I can swim lap after lap without any problems.

As I came home and told my husband (my best friend) every single, minute detail of my newfound passion, I excitedly declared, "If I can breathe, I can do Anything!" Wow, what a concept! And how true it really is based on everything that I have learned in life! We really are limitless beings, so of course, if we are breathing we are capable of just about anything!

So swimming gave me a great metaphor for life..."If you can breathe, You can do anything!" One of my favorite, late, great, mentors W. Clement Stone said, "Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, It can achieve." He's right--If you can believe it (and you are breathing!) you can achieve it. It may take some work or practice and you may need to release some resistance but "If you can Breathe, You can do Anything!" <bio>Karen Lynch is the creator of the motivation and inspiration website http://www.livethepower.com You can learn about using the power of your own mind by picking up a copy of a Free Ebook of "The Power of the Subconscious Mind" by Dr. Joseph Murphy at http://www.livethepower.com/home.html </bio>

Summer is quickly approaching, and I for one want to be out and enjoying the nice weather as soon as it begins. If you are anything like me, than the winter months always take a bit of a toll on your body. Inspite of my strongest efforts to stay in shape and to not gain extra winter weight, it seems that the cold wins out and too often I choose to curl up with a good book rather than jump on the treadmill for a run. With summer officially comes the season of bathing suits, and I am finally ready to kick it into gear and prepare myself.

If you are wanting to get into some bathing suits within the next few weeks, then here are some simple things you can do to prepare yourself and your body. And don't worry, I'll be doing them all too. First, drink water. Drinking water is one of the best ways to purify and cleanse your body, but it also does great things to your skin. No one wants to put on a bathing suit and look ashy and dried out. Try adding a few extra glasses of water each day and you will see improvements in your skin and also a reduction in your appetite. The more water you drink, the less your body craves other things.

Another important way to get ready for bathing suits is to get moving. Regardless of what excuses we all had during the cold winter months, it is too nice out now to not get outside and get active. Go for a brisk walk or at least get into your garden and be moving. Anything you do is better than nothing. Try to get active for a half hour at least four times a week. Exercise is good not only for your bathing suits but also for your heart and your overall health.

Watching what you eat is one the biggest keys to getting ready for bathing suits. We all know by now that sodium intake makes us bloat and retain water, so try to cut down on sodium especially in the days before you want to get out in bathing suits. Also, trying adding as many fruits and vegetables as you possibly can into your diet. They are really healthy and really low in fat. Substitute fresh fruit smoothies for other tempting desserts and you'll be well on your way to enjoying your bathing suits.

Get your bathing suits out of the closet and hang them in a place you can see. Let them motivate you to drink water, get moving, and eat better. In no time you'll be ready to slip into your bathing suits and show off. <bio>Hallidae Thomason is a personal trainer. She loves seeing people be ready for bathing suits each summer. See http://www.bathingsuitshelp.info for more. </bio>

If there were anything more difficult than the transitions of the triathlon race then swimming would be it. Truly an endurance sport, swimming in triathlon races can actually dig the life out of you, especially when your body is not well adapted to the conditions that it requires.

You may have some basic backgrounds in swimming since it is known to be the most popular pastime sport Americans have. But you, when you're seriously into the game of triathlon then backgrounds are no longer enough to let you know the feeling of reaching the finish line.

Your triathlon training in swimming can cover all or most of the strokes. And you may choose to use them during the race, after all no one says that freestyle stroke is a guarantee to get through the swim stage. Nevertheless, as we might have observed most racers are comfortable with freestyle stroke because it provides speed.

But competitors, at one time or another, can be seen using different strokes for whatever purpose they deem necessary. The problem with this though is that they have to break the momentum and start with a new stroke over again once they gain their speed. Somehow, this creates the struggle and that is what we want to eliminate. You have to get through this junction as smoothly as you can be.

You can get this through training. If you cant cross the pool straight for now, you never have to worry since practice will always create more perfect ways to achieve what you first set your mind to achieve.

Swimming is not only an activity of endurance, it also requires you tons of patients to get the proper technique and strength. Thrice a week practice will do you best, other than that you may over-exhaust your self or lack training.

While the swim part is not actually the longest stage, it still garners the longest training to master. After all, swimming is nearly a hundred percent technical.

On the general view, swimming should not be taken as the speed game. You only have to get through it to be able to reach the 2nd and last lap. It must not tire you, it only has to warm you up. It will prepare your muscle to flex during the last two legs of the race. The trick lies in the efficient use of energy so there will be more for the run and the bike stages.

You can't expect to see yourself swim but you can trust an eye from a good trainer. He will show you the details of your flaws and will help you work on them. <bio>This content is provided by Low Jeremy. It may be used only in its entirety with all links included.
A sauna is an easy affair with not many rules attached to it. It is all about getting into a sauna and enjoying the feeling. Though there are not many rules and regulations, one must follow certain wise procedures. Following these will enhance your sauna experience.

In a public sauna you must respect other fellow bathers. Rules and regulations must be followed. Some public saunas may allow the use of bathing suits while the others may not. When bathing suits are prohibited it is advisable to carry a towel and wrap it around you as you may feel uncomfortable being nude.

Temperatures of public saunas cannot be controlled, but in case of a private sauna temperature control is possible. If you are using a sauna for the first time and not used to it,you must begin with lower temperatures. People who are sauna addicts heat up the saunas to about a 100 degree Celsius so if you are not used to such a high temperature then you could have it at about seventy to eighty degrees.

One must have a shower before going in for a sauna and you should not use any soap or shampoo. The fragrances in soaps and shampoos are likely to dissolve in the sauna and may not be pleasant to the other bathers.

There are upper and lower benches in a sauna. The upper ones are hotter than the lower ones so you could choose where to sit. After a span of 10 to 15 minutes you could produce some steam by pouring some water on the rocks as by doing so you are increasing the temperature and that will help you to sweat more. If you are new to a sauna and not used to the experience you are advised not to stay in there for a long time. 15 minutes is the longest that you could take for one session. After you have completed one session you could swim or take a cold water bath and relax for some time and then go in for another.

Relaxing is most important in a sauna. Saunas help relax your mind and revive your body from aches, pains and stress thus leaving you refreshed. One must not utilize a sauna to discuss business or other controversial matters. Saunas are places that keep you away from the world and you should have friendly discussions.

People in Finland use branches of birch trees to lightly beat their skin. These branches have a lot of leaves and do not hurt and instead produce a tickly feeling which is invigorating. Birch branches may not be available everywhere but for those who can get hold of one, try it.

The other tradition that people of Finland follow is to roll in the snow after having a sauna. Though you might think that the Finns are a crazy lot, rolling in the snow revitalizes you after a sauna. Rolling in the snow, having a cold shower or a swim have the same effect of cooling after a hot sauna. This leaves you re-energized and calm.

You could alternate sauna and cooling off any number of times you would prefer. Sauna sessions last for half and hour and have about 2 to 3 series of heating and cooling. If you prefer you could continue for hours.

Saunas are safe and it has been time and again proven to be the best technique of bathing. You should leave the sauna if you feel any kind of discomfort. The sauna is a place to relax in and revitalize yourtself and not to be taken up as a challenge as it may prove to be dangerous if you are uncomfortable and stay in there for a long time. <bio>Karina Jacobsen is a staff writer at http://www.everything-spa.com and is an occasional contributor to several other websites, including http://www.alternativehealthadvisor.com. </bio>

One of the great attractions of the summer weather is the warm sun, clear skies, and the opportunities of hitting the road for nice moments at the beach.

If you decide to go for the beach stuff, you will require two vital things for such an activity. You need to have a swim suit and of course a great body.

Most people, especially women are obsessed with their figure. So if you feel you won't feel confident in a swim wear, then you have to get into shape before the 90 degree weather hits.

To get started, you will need to select the method to be utilized in combating your excess weight. And with the plethora of weight dropping techniques in the market, finding one that suits your body and schedule should not pose much of a problem. Now, herein lays a dilemma. You not only have to adopt an effective treatment regime, but you also have to acquire better eating habits.

For most people who have been exercising for years without success, the problem probably lies with their diets.

If you are facing a similar situation, then your nightmares are over. Because, presently, there are now several effective and efficient ways to program weight loss.

How does one program weight loss? Well, this is a matter of technology.

With concepts such as Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig, you can literarily program weight loss, eating habits and exercise routines into your PC or Mac.

This method allows you to keep a close eye on everything you do and consume. For instance, the Weight Watchers system allows you to keep track of each calorie you consume at each meal.

When you take the time to program weight loss and calories into your computer, it will serve as a guide to prevent you from exceeding the healthy limit.

One other advantage these hi-tech systems concerns the meals. With Weight loss programs like Slim Fast and South Beach diet, you are able to choose from a variety of their already prepared dishes.

Now that's what can be called convenience. These days, you can forget about guessing calories. Because when you program weight loss, eating habits, and exercise routines into your home computer, the system does the rest for you. <bio>By Kyle Greatbatch http://www.body-energy-boost.com </bio>

Orlando is the place to take your family if you want to provide them with adventures and thrills that can't be experienced anywhere else. In Orlando, adventures and thrills are more than just roller coasters and fast rides. You can take your kids for a swim with dolphins, a trip up a tropical river, a swim in a lagoon with rays or snorkeling at a coral reef, and do it all at one park, Discovery Cove.

Discovery Cove is an attraction that is adjacent to the famous Sea World park. It offers you a chance to talk, touch, play and swim with gentle and exquisite bottlenose dolphins. The park is home to 30 of these marine mammals.

The Dolphin Swim begins with an interactive orientation which includes a brief video presentation on dolphin characteristics, how to use hand signals and positive reinforcement to communicate with your dolphin and various safety guidelines.

The orientation is followed by a wade in the park's Dolphin Lagoon. Groups of 6-8 people wade and go up close to the Dolphins. According to the park's website, "You will meet and play with a dolphin for 30 minutes, getting to know each other through hugs, kisses, rubdowns and, ultimately, a one-on-one swim together through the lagoon."

Wow, swimming one-on-one with a dolphin! It is hard to top that but the park offers still more adventures. Have you ever been fascinated by the scenes of colorful fish swimming in a coral reef?

Well, you can get closer to the reefs than a TV documentary with a trip to Discovery Cove's unique coral reef. Here, you can snorkel through the expansive colorful reefs, shipwreck remains and enchanting grottos. You can spend as much time as you like and watch many species of exotic fish. You can even get a glimpse of a shark or barracuda, without any danger, as the sharks and barracudas swim in glass enclosed areas.

Another feature of Discovery Cove is a chance to make a leisurely trip along a tropical river. The trip takes you through a rainforest environment complete with waterfalls, underwater caves and a freshwater lagoon. On the way you can also take in the sights of an interactive aviary, which is filled with more than 250 tropical birds. These colorful birds are tame and will come up and eat from your hand.

If you want another snorkeling experience you can go to the Ray Lagoon and swim among cow-nosed rays. These are gentle creatures that grow up to four feet in diameter.

As you might expect, this attraction is heavily in demand and admission is on a reservation only basis. The park offers a day package, and in the summer months, an evening package as well. At the present time the price for admission with the dolphin experience is $289 and a non dolphin admission is $189. Visit their website www.discoverycove.com for complete details and schedules, as well as for making your reservation.

So if you love aquatic adventures, then pack up your fins and snorkels and get ready to meet the dolphins at Discovery Cove. <bio>Mark Whichard writes frequently about Orlando Tourism.
Preparing to walk out before the world in a swim suits this summer can be intimidating, that is unless you know a few tricks to get you ready. A little diet modification, some simple exercise, and selecting a swim suit based on your body type can dramatically change the way you look and feel this summer.

=95 The Diet

o Balance is key! Don't skip meals, just make sure the meals you eat are of good nutritional quality and proportions are appropriate for your goals (this means keep junk food to a minimum). Of course, eating lots of fruits and veggies are a great way to feel full without adding major calories (that is if you skip all the awesome sauces and dips that accompany these). If you are going out to eat, consider a healthy appetizer or a salad before the meal to decrease the amount of calorie dense foods you may consume in the entr=E9e. When faced with the urge to snack, opt for healthier foods such as fruit, veggie sticks, yogurt, mixed nuts, and protein bars or shakes. Lots of water is also a key. It helps to curb cravings and hunger pains, but is also very healthy and good for the body and skin. If you aren't a fan of plain water, add a bit of lemon, lime, or orange wedge, a cucumber slice, or a sprig of mint. Adding the flavored packets, thought they may be fat free and sugar free, still add calories our bodies don't need. When enjoying an alcoholic beverage, consider lower calorie options. Keeping a food journal can be helpful to see where you are falling off pace if you don't seem to be getting the results you desire. Remember, the goal is not to deprive yourself, but rather to control yourself. Forgiveness is a must because no matter if you have the strongest will power in the world, you will get off track. Start over each new day and eventually healthy eating will become a habit.

=95 The Exercise

o Consider exercises that will enhance the areas seem most in a swim suit. Whether going to the gym or working out at home, incorporate at least 90 minutes of cardiovascular activity each week. You can break this up into however many minute sessions you choose and on how many days you choose. Remember, you don't have to stick with one method. If you bore easily with exercise, consider getting a pair of roller blades, playing tennis, going on a bicycle ride, or just walking. You can jump rope or even do jumping jacks for added variety. Keeping goals realistic and able to fit exercise into your schedule will help make you more successful. For toning, lunges and squats are great for the buttock, legs, and even the abs. Simple crunches (there are many varieties) are great for showing off a toned stomach during the summer. For arms, push ups are great as they work many muscles at once. If you prefer the gym, a series of machines that target the biceps, triceps, and deltoids are great for sculpting.

=95 The Swimsuit

o Just in case your eating and exercising hasn't yet gotten you to your desired goal, consider your body type when choosing a swim suit. Choose darker colors as they can be very slimming and opt for minimal patterns because patterns can draw attention to unwanted areas. Suits with spandex are good because they help to hold areas in place. Padding and push ups can aid in adding cleavage and underwire can add support for a fuller chest. If you want to minimize a fuller chest, a suit with a full bottom, perhaps a skirt, will help balance the overall look. For a longer body consider a one piece and for shorter frames a one or two piece with a high cut on the hip can be elongating. A tankini can be good to give the impression of an hourglass figure.

Now that you know what you need to do to rock the beach this summer, the rest is up to you. A little work can go a long way, even if you don't have much time. Whatever progress you make, confidence will soon follow, ensuring you look and feel your sexiest this summer!

For additional must-know tips visit www.verysupersexylingerie.com. <bio>Stephanie is the owner of La Bella Amour Lingerie, the premier on-line boutique offering a full line of lingerie and a bridal registry.
Remember when you were young and you couldn't wait until summer to go swimming and play in the water? Hopefully you learned how to swim when you were a child but if you didn't, it is never too late to learn. Swimming is not only the best, proven exercise that you can do but also the psychological benefits of swimming can be very fulfilling. Many medical studies have proven this to be a fact for your health and it is also a lot of fun as well.

Swimming builds muscle strength and also builds your physical stamina. Everyone is aware that water has resistance and provides your body with support to make exercise easier. This is very beneficial to elderly people as well as people who suffer from muscular or joint ailments. Always check with your doctor before starting a new exercise regime if you have any physical problems or not. Swimming can also produce great results for your cardiovascular system.

Remember to always start out slow and build up as your body adjusts to the demands of swimming. You can begin with a hand over hand swim and then work up the breaststroke and more demanding forms of swimming. As mentioned before telling your doctor about your new regime is a wise step to take. You may want to consider getting into harder workouts over time such as water aerobics, which is great for your arm and thigh muscles. It's also good for increasing your heart rate.

Make a flexible schedule that you can live with easily. 30 minutes, when first beginning, will insure that you get the maximum benefit of your workout. It is actually better to swim in shorter blocks of time, according to medical studies and will help you not to become bored with your routine.

An important thing to think is about your swimming technique, do you really know how to swim properly? Take the time to learn. Learn correctly how to do the different styles of swimming such as the breaststroke or backstroke. This will increase the benefits of your swimming workout overall. Get into some kind of routine, flowing from one style of swimming to another, make your workout as varied as you can to keep your interest. Find what works for you and remember to include easy routines as well as more difficult ones. Just keep swimming and don't make any excuses and find the times that are right for you.

If you can use them, in the pool that you have available, think about wearing flippers. They provide extra resistance and naturally teach your body the correct way to swim with your head lower in the water and your feet and legs higher. If your not doing it correctly then you are wasting a lot of time and energy in the pool without getting all the benefits you want. Another thing you need to be aware of is the importance of wearing the correct swimwear, yes you actually have to get in a bathing suit. That's enough to put most people off but don't let it discourage you, you are there to exercise and one day soon you will look better and feel better about it as time goes on.

The point is to get out there and do it, even if you have never learned to swim, just remember that it is the best exercise in the world for you and splashing around in the water is always fun. Soon you will feel better and look better, take a friend along with you and share in the fun. <bio>James Davis is a staff writer at http://www.fitness-digest.com and is an occasional contributor to several other websites, including http://www.ultimate-relaxation.com. </bio>

A good suit is an important addition to every closet. Even if you don't need a suit today, you never know when you will have an important meeting, a job interview, or a funeral to attend. Keeping a suit in the closet helps you to be sure that you will always be prepared. However, if you've never shopped for a suit before, you may find that you aren't sure how to buy a suit. Take a look at these tips on shopping for suits to be sure you make the right choice.

First, before you buy a suit, you should be sure that you know what your measurements are. The measurements you will need are: the inseam (the inside leg length), your neck, your shoulders, your arm length, your chest, and your waist. However, don't try to take them yourself. It is really hard to get accurate measurements on your own. If you can't find someone to take measurements before you get to the store, ask a salesperson to help you.

Once you know your measurements, you will need to decide what type of suit you want to own. The single-breasted suit is the most common style. This suit is designed so that the jacket has a single row of buttons that button up like a shirt. You can find these suits with two, three or four buttons. Usually, the bottom button on this suit is left unfastened so that the suit doesn't pucker and pull. If you don't like the way a single-breasted suit looks, then you may want to look at double-breasted suits. These suits have two rows of buttons and one side of the suit overlaps the other side when it is buttoned up.

Next, you should consider suit fabrics. You can find suits made from wool, linen, and even polyester. However, wool suits are the most common, and for good reason. A wool suit is cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter than suits made with man made fibers. This is because wool is able to breathe. You can find wool in light, medium, and heavy weights, so you will be able to find a suit that is perfect for warm or cold climates. In addition, wool really wears well, especially if the suit is made with worsted wool.

If you can't wear wool because of allergies, you can find polyester or linen suits. Polyester does not hold up as well as wool and doesn't breathe well, which makes it uncomfortable to wear during the summer months. However, it is a budget friendly choice and travels well, since it doesn't wrinkle easily. Linen breathes much better than polyester, but it tends to wrinkle easily. If you decide you want a linen suit, you may want to look for a linen/polyester blend instead.

Finally, you will need to try on a few suits in the style and fabric you choose to be sure that they fit properly. Avoid suits that pucker across the back or are too tight in the shoulders and arms. It may be necessary to have alterations done on a suite to ensure a proper fit. A quality retailer will offer alteration services. With a proper fitting suit, you will be ready for anything. <bio>Gray Rollins is a featured writer for MenswearPro.
If I could take one thing back from all the ironman training I did over the years, it would be the thousands of laps I did in the pool with the hopes of thrashing out a faster swim time.

If you are an age grouper or a novice Ironman, there is really no point in spending hours and hours in the pool if you are already at the point where you can easily handle the distance. To devote your valuable training time to enable you to complete the swim 4 or 5 minutes faster is a very poor return on your time investment.

It seems that there are many ironman athletes out there who push way to hard in the swim. The excess energy you burn in that opening leg is simply not recoverable and won't be there for the bike and run.

I firmly believe the reason so many people hit the wall in the marathon, is because they expended so much in the swim. The bike leg just finishes the job of depleting your resources.

There's no medal for swimming fast. There's not even a t-shirt if you swim fast and don't cross the finish line. Even being the very first out of the water means little is you can't put three events together.

Take for example Kona, 1984. The winning swimmer was Djan Madruga. You might be asking yourself, "who the heck is he?" My point exactly. Djan was a world class swimmer and he beat the likes of Dave Scott, Mark Tinley and Mark Allen out of the water that day. However, Djan ran a 4:47 marathon and Dave Scott ran a 2:53.

This is where my theory comes in of running an Ironman like your energy, strength and endurance are all contained in a full glass of water when the start gun sounds.

Try and avoid expending half of that glass of water before you even get on the bike. That means your glass could well be down to the last quarter---or less, before you even put on your running shoes. I really believe there is a direct relationship between the Ironman shuffle and a poorly executed swim.

I remember the race where I finally began to understand pace and how best to nurse that all important glass of water right up to the last mile of the marathon.

It began with learning how to swim easier--or--more efficiently, and not faster. I learned how to relax in the water and to use looooonnnng, smoooooth, strokes. I couldn't believe how good I felt in the swim-bike transtion. I probably used less than a quarter of that glass of energy.

For the first 40 km. of the bike I let myself get into the rhythm of the change of demands on my body before I settled into the race pace I felt I could hold for the remaining 140 km.

I could "not" believe the run. Normally, it was a struggle from mile one. This time I seemed to settle into a rhythm that I could maintain from the very beginning and the usual tiny voice telling me to walk because it hurt so much, never appeared.

To emphasis my point, I remember beginning to count the athletes I passed as the marathon progressed. It was a way of keeping my mind occupied and when I reached 350 that I had passed, I just quit counting, because it became a chore there were so many.

Needless to say, everyone I passed was either faster than me in the swim, on the bike, or in transition---or all three. The whole point is, it doesn't really matter how fast they were up to that point if they're walking now. Why spend hours and hours learning to swim faster if you're going to walk most of the marathon?

Just do the math. Say I'm running about an 8:15 pace like I did that year, from start to finish, and I pass someone at mile 10 and they have begun to walk and end up walking most of the marathon? They'll probably cross that finish line about 2 hours after me. That's the same person who swam faster and biked faster than I did. I had half a glass of water left and they were on empty at mile ten of the marathon.

I believe the best place to empty that glass is about 1 kilometer from the finish line. Its about there that the fan support has grown to huge proportions and most important of all you can hear the race announcer at the finish line. Those two happenings will carry you to the finish line. At that point, nothing is going to stop you.

I also think its best to be on empty just before the finish, because like me, if you finish and feel great and have a fast recovery, you most likely crossed the finish line with a quarter of a glass left.

And hey! You don't want to wonder years down the road if you left something out on the course that day. <bio>My name is Ray and I'm a veteran of 14 Ironman Triathlons.
What scares you the most about your upcoming ironman race? What's your fear-factor?

As fit as a person is going into the first career Ironman, the fear-factor is in the equation as the big day creeps ever closer.

As cool and confident as many participants may appear, there is almost always something that fills them with a certain amount of misgiving and anxiety.

For many, the fear-factor will be overwhelming self-doubt as they wonder to themselves what on earth they have gotten themselves into. Its almost like diving off a high cliff. Once you're committed, there's no turning back. After all, everyone in your circle of friends family and co-workers know all about it. For months they have observed as you've immersed yourself in your Ironman preparation. How can you possibly back out and face the people who have supported you as you've prepared for the race of your life?

Well, some people can and do back out. I recall one story in the early 80's that took place in the Hawaii Ironman.

As the story goes........At the conclusion of the swim portion of the race and all the swimmers were off the course, it was discovered that one person was missing. In other words, someone who was signed in for the swim had not arrived. Apparently they searched the entire course with scuba divers looking for the missing swimmer and fearing the worst.

As it turns out, the missing swimmer had never entered the water. He decided he just couldn't do it and left the transition area and went for breakfast at a local restaurant. When he returned for his gear, he asked someone what all the fuss was about and then, much to the relief of all concerned, the mystery was solved. The lesson here--- If you EVER decide to drop out of an Ironman race, be sure to let the organisers know as soon as possible! They care about you and your safety.

It seems that the swim is particularly terrifying for many first time Ironman athletes. People have been known to stand on the shore in tears, unable to face the swim even long after the gun has sounded. Some have been coaxed into the water by volunteers and ended up doing just fine. Normally, just a few hundred meters into the swim, your nervousness will disappear and you'll settle into the race.

In my first Ironman in Hawaii, I'll never forget the amazing euphoria in the transition tent after the swim. More than anything, I believe it was relief, because for many, myself included, a very big hurdle had been cleared. As far as I was concerned that day, there was nothing that would stop me from crossing the finish line once I conquered the swim. There was no doubt, the water way my fear-factor.

I believe that most who are considering their first Ironman are runners. Also, pretty well everyone has biked at one time or another in their life, but really few have had the opportunity or reason to swim in the open water. So it stands to reason that a lot of first time Ironman triathletes are going to be extremely apprehensive about the Ironman swim.

Some I suppose may fear the bike. Maybe steep hills or cycling around so many others will cause some concern. At least in the bike and run you have complete control. You can just stop or slow down. I think its fair to say, that in the swim, once you're half a mile out in the open water, you're pretty well committed.

Personally, I think much of the fear-factor grows all out of proportion as the race nears. Ironman preparation is much more than swim, bike, run. You must also prepare yourself mentally.

When you begin to have doubts about your ability, or when the fear of failure begins to haunt you, its time to take a step back and consider how far you have come.

It may not seem like it on race-day, as you are surrounded by hundreds of athletes, but in the big scheme of things, few people in the world will ever attempt what you're about to do. Believe in your training, your preparation and ability. When the fear-factor is overwhelming as the race nears---regardless if its the swim or the bike or just fear of failing---remember this:

There are hundreds of other athletes who will feel the same as you on race morning. That's one of the things that makes the Ironman so amazing. You are all on the same journey together. The goal is a common one. It is this united spirit that will help calm the fear-factor and take you through the day. You'll understand what I mean as your first Ironman race-day unfolds.

There will be several thousand volunteers and thousands more spectators and friends and relatives who will all play a part in your amazing journey.

They will be behind you when your fear is greatest, your inspiration when you doubt and your strength when you tire.

You are truly amazing just to reach the start line of an Ironman triathlon. Just to have gotten to that point makes you a resounding success, so how can you possibly fail?

You have erased the doubts you once had that you would even find yourself on the beach on Ironman morning awaiting the starting gun. You are in the best condition of your life and have the admiration of everyone around you as you prepare for the greatest experience of your life.

If you are about to attempt your first Ironman, may the Iron Gods of Kona, who haunt the searing lava fields of the King K. highway smile upon you and very soon welcome you into the most amazing family on earth. <bio>Are you a beginner triathlete or novice Ironman?
We all love the idea of a party but a sauna party is something that will make your home the best place to relax during the winter and summer time. To have the best possible sauna party you will need to invite people who will feel comfortable relaxing and socializing with each other in their bathing suits.

You can have written sauna party invitations that tell your invitees when they should visit your home for the party. On your invitation you will need to state that you are having a sauna party and that your guest should bring their bathing suits to wear with them. You can plan on having an after sauna dinner party as well.

There is one item that you may want to include on your sauna party invitations. This is a warning to pregnant women who are going into a sauna for the first time and people with high blood pressure or other types of problems like this that they might want to seek their doctor's advice about going into a sauna.

To have your sauna party you should have your sauna located where the outside temperatures will not make your party unbearable. The ideal place to have your sauna party will be near a lake or a swimming pool where everyone can relax or swim in the pool to cool down.

The best time to have a sauna party is around winter where the cold winter air will contrast with the heat of the sauna. A summer time sauna party is also possible if you plan your party for a day when there is a good cooling breeze blowing.

While everyone is getting ready for the sauna party you will need to place hot towels in a place where the towels will still remain hot but they can still be taken quickly and without any types of problems.

Once you have readied the hot towels you will need to make sure that the sauna stove is working properly and that the sauna is getting heated nicely. Once everyone starts coming inside the sauna you should test to see if the sauna rocks are hot enough.

Place a wooden heat resistant bucket that is filled water near the sauna rocks. There should be a wooden ladle in the wooden bucket. This will make it easy for your guests to pour the water on the sauna rocks to make the dry, invisible steam circulate through the whole sauna.

You can check the sauna thermometer to see if the sauna is at a good degree of dry heat. Your sauna party in the sauna itself should last for no more that 20 to 30 minutes. Once this sauna party is over have your guests and yourself cool down in the cooling breeze outside.

You can finish your sauna party at what ever time that you want. You should make sure that everyone has a warm towel to dry themselves before you say goodbye. Until your next sauna party. <bio> http://www.easyhomeremedy.com/free_download.html , http://www.healtharticles-lk.com , http://www.easyhomeremedy.com/garden/family_garden_tips_index.html </bio>

We all enjoy soaking or swimming in a warm crystal clear pool or hot tub yet at times keeping that sparkle can be a trying experience. Keeping your pools chemicals in the proper range is not only necessary to maintain that sparkle but also to keep your pool or hot tub safe for swimmers.

There are three basic ways to keep your pool clean and safe for swimming the traditional chlorine system, biguanide and mineral systems each are safe and effective for use in outdoor pools and hot tubs. Each system needs to be used independently of the other so which ever system you start using you must continue to use that system. You will also need to purchase the proper testing equipment for your system.

The old standard chlorine is available almost every place from your local pool supply store to Wal-Mart it is relatively cheap and easy to monitor and use. The big drawbacks of chlorine are it is harsh on your skin and can cause bathing suits and hair color to fade. Stabilized chlorine should be used in a pool or hot tub that is exposed to sunlight if your spa is inside or is not in direct sunlight non stabilized chlorine can be used.

The next type of pool sanitizers are the mineral systems these release minerals such as copper, zinc and silver into the water to keep the pool or hot tub algae and bacteria free. Generally the mineral system does use a small amount of chlorine to make sure the system is efficacious.

The third type of pool sanitizer is the "Bio" type of sanitizers such as Bioguard and BioDex. These all liquid sanitizers are very easy to use but they do require a specific testing unit and can not be used with chlorine. These sanitizers do not have the same harsh effects of chlorine and do not bleach out hair and swim suits.

Every type of pool sanitizers requires an oxidizer, the oxidizer or shock treatment removes the oils, lotions and other unwanted contaminations form the pool. Not all shock treatments are the same although monopersulfate which is an oxygen based oxidizer. Chlorine based shock treatments are also oxygen based. Chlorine shock should never be used with the Biguanide sanitizing system uses hydrogen peroxide as the main oxidizer.

No matter what type of sanitizer you use in your pool or hot tub you need to start with the basics. Make sure your Ph is between 7.4 and 7.6 this prevents corrosion and scale build up and reduces the irritation to swimmers skin and eyes. <bio>Jake Plumer is a writer for http://www.a1hottub.com. </bio>

Even the fittest and the toughest of the athletes do get some shares of pain during the triathlon race. Triathlon is simply a game of endurance. The only thing that one can do is to believe that somehow, he will be able to reach the finish line. One has to battle with distances, with fatigue and with lack of strength. And it is likely that at the end, he'll be having thoughts of quitting but his inner self will convince him that's its already too late to quit.

Sprint triathlon, like those of Iron Man or half-Iron competitions are composed of three disciplined events namely, swimming, biking and running. Sprint, being a smaller scale as compared with other variations may not require you the same endurance other types have but still it requires some great will power. In usual cases, sprint triathlon takes off half the original distance Olympic standards have.

Sprint triathlon only takes 750 meters of swim (considerably short for a triathlon race), a biking distance of 20 km and a run of 5 km. Not much of a suffering right? But it is for the beginners.

Olympic distance, on the other hand, has standard of 1.5 km of swimming, 40 km of biking and 10 km run for the last leg.

Iron Man Triathlon, which seem to have the primary aim of testing the limits of the physical body and the mental endurance of a racer requires one to finish 3.8 km of swim, 180 km for the bike lap and a run to hell of 42 km.

Once you embark on a sprint triathlon competition, the first thing you need to do is to condition your body for the grand day ahead. This can only be acquired through proper training, which normally lasts for not less than 13 weeks.

Set an achievable goal first. That would be better since you can work on it. Set your hopes high but do not go beyond plans that you believe would not work. Now that you have a specific point to get to, schedule your training program and start working on it. Assure to it that your plan will always be in accordance with the specific events that you are about to join. Do not just swim meters by meters. Or ride the bike for as long as you want. Or run miles on end. See to it that in each session, there is a specific aim that you are working with, say endurance or speed. <bio>This content is provided by Low Jeremy.
