Others may get the impression that Marc Anthony considers personal relationships not very important, as he may pretend to have feelings for someone when he really does not. Marc Anthony would make a very good actor playing the part of a lover.

Anthony is a very sociable, congenial person and he wilts very quickly without relationships with good friends and people to share good times with. He is also quite happy when he is a part of a club, support group, or team of some sort.

Marc Anthony thoroughly enjoys working with others on group projects or community activities. He has a strong desire for harmony and beauty in his surroundings. Very interested in art, he is likely to devote his life to beauty and art. He may pursue a career in cultivating and embellishing the environment.

Though he wants close relationships very much, Marc Anthony often closes himself off and does not really trust others who may wish to get to know him. Anthony is very wholehearted in his feelings and responses to people, and he wants all or nothing from the people he cares for.

Marc has conflicting emotional desires and needs which complicate his personal life and relationships. He may feel that he cannot depend on his love partner to take care of him or perhaps Anthony cannot decide what he really wants in love relationships: a parent or a lover.

Marc Anthony possesses the gifts of tact, courtesy, consideration, and a strong desire to please and understand his love partner. Because he values harmony so much, Marc Anthony will compromise a great deal to avoid any discord or conflict in his relationships. However, Marc takes slights and rebuffs very personally and though he may forgive a transgression by a friend or loved one, he never forgets it.

In love relationships, Marc Anthony wants an intellectual peer, an equal, and a friend. He is attracted to people who have a certain finesse, delicacy, and subtlety. Marc Anthony appreciates good manners and refinement and is not happy with a coarse, blunt type of person.

It is hard for Marc to express his feelings and emotions to other people. He may feel especially inhibited in matters of love relationships and could feel dissatisfied and unfulfilled. Sometimes, Marc Anthony tends to feel lonely, even when he is in the company of others. <bio>Article can be reprinted with copyright addressed to Shlomo Tommer, partner with Top Synergy Relationships Group [http://www.topsynergy.com/], and editor of Marc Anthony's Astro Profile [http://famous-relationships.topsynergy.com/Marc_Anthony/]. </bio>

Based out of Cornwall these pieces have a creative unique look. Not your everyday storybook pixie, Anthony Fisher pixies have a similarity to the artistry of the traditional European fairytales.

These pixies are collectors' items with a wide variety to choose from. Each is just as unique as the name given to them. Take for example "Billy Winks Money Box" a pixie figurine that is sleeping in his log home. Each pixie has a story that goes along with them. For example Billy's story is that he likes to steal little things from humans just to cause trouble, that by the way is what pixies like to do best. Unfortunately, Billy Winks is a lazy pixie and you can usually find him sleeping.

These figurines are perfect for adult or child alike. They can be placed in a child's room or through out the home. They even make a wonderful addition to any garden. Since the many of the pieces have aspects of nature in them, Anthony Fisher Pixies are a perfect match for the average gardener. Pieces such as Sunflower Sam and anyone from his Naughty Sporting series are a good choice for the garden. Other functional pieces include birdbaths, plant holders and even a welcome to my garden piece.

There are other functional pieces for in the home or for use on the patio to entertain as well. These include a wine bottle holder, cooking utensil holder and bookends. All pieces are handmade and have the signature uniqueness only an Anthony Fisher Pixie can carry.

When purchasing an Anthony Fisher Pixie be sure that is an officially licensed place that sells them and be sure to ask about a certificate of authenticity. As with all collectibles it is best to make sure that the piece has the certificate of authenticity with out this your collectible is nothing more than a statue. Also the certificate of authenticity proves that your hard earned money was spent on what you intended it to be spent on.

All in all Anthony Fisher Pixies are the perfect choice to add a little fantasy to the mundane home. They will add a feeling o warmth fun and fantasy to any location. Pieces are reasonably priced and a person on any budget can find a piece that suits them best. These pieces can be found on internet websites that deal in selling just his pieces or directly through the artist's own website. <bio>http://www.gnomespixiesandmore.com/ </bio>

After having the unique opportunity to see the system in action, I decided to write this Sure 2 Profit review. If you've never heard of John Anthony and are thinking you could use a few thousand extra dollars per month, you'll find this review of particular interest. Hopefully, after reading it you'll have a good idea what you can realistically expect to get out of Sure 2 Profit, and if it's worth your time and investment.

Nowadays, it seems as though everyone is an expert on placing winning bets on horse racing. From my Uncle Albert to the guy who stocks the dog food at my grocery store, everyone has a secret they're willing to share with you after a few too many mint juleps. If they were really any good at betting, however, they wouldn't be working with dog food or driving a 1992 Ford Windstar (Uncle Al!). John Anthony is different, though, and this is why I was interested in learning more about his Sure 2 Profit system.

Anthony regularly makes more than $3,000 each week betting on horses, using his proven software and betting system. An honest guy who has developed a winning system that consistently generates a tax-free income for all of his followers who use it, Anthony's Sure 2 Profit betting system is truly unlike anything available on the market today.

Step by step, Sure 2 Profit walks you through the motions of making a ridiculous amount of money in as little as 30 minutes per day. The best thing about his software and guide is that it is 100 percent guaranteed to make you money. Try finding that anywhere else in the industry! I really can't sing the praises of Sure 2 Profit loud enough. I highly recommend both Anthony and Sure 2 Profit to everyone I know who is into gambling, and I suggest you look into it too. After all, you've got nothing to lose. <bio>To learn more, visit the official Sure 2 Profit website at http://bitsylink.com/?MHYQZ today. </bio>

Anthony J Mahavorick or Anthony Robbins is a well known personal development expert, but do you know that he has written a book on weight loss diet? If you doubt that a success coach can write about losing weight, just look at the man himself who was once a lumbering grossly overweight chap to now, a handsome trim man full of energy and inspiration.

Anthony Robbins himself said, "If you want to succeed in any aspect of your life, just find someone who has succeeded in that area and do what he did to get there." Now, Tony Robbins has succeeded in losing weight, so don't you want to do what he did?

Anthony Robbins Diet is somewhat similar to Robert Young's theory of alkalizing the body to lose or maintain one's weight although it distinguishes it with an entire way of changes of lifestyle.

The Anthony Robbins Diet is a vegetarian diet approach to life. He believes that if we do not alkalize out bodies we are heading towards self destruction. So he advises us that we should consume more alkaline vegetables and fruits and at the same time should avoid eggs and other such acidic foods to improve our health.

In reality, this diet program is not just merely about losing weight but is focused on achieving overall fitness as well as good health. When most diets, especially low carb diets like Atkins diet make us feel fatigued and sometimes even irritable, Anthony Robbins's diet program don't.

If you have read any of his personal development success books or attended any of his seminars, you will know that Tony Robbins is a health motivated man and talks of how he plans an entire life's outlook rather than merely losing weight. He teaches people how to achieve high self esteem and confidence.

Anthony Robbins Diet plan teach us how to eat vegetarian foods that are rich in alkaline so the body can maintain a ph of 7.4. He also discussed the importance of vital breathing in this book. He advocates that one must breathe correctly so that the body can get maximum oxygen from the breath. By ingesting more oxygen, our bodies will create a more alkaline environment and this in turn help in the optimum functioning of the human body. It is only when the cells are unable to release their toxins that problems such as weight gain occur. So with more oxygen, the cells in the body will be healthier.

In the diet, he encourages people to drink at least three liters of alkaline water and advises people to exercise regularly. This is because without regular exercises, the lungs do not get enough oxygen. The diet plan suggests that people need to do cardio exercises at least four days a week. Cardio or aerobic exercises strengthen the heart and lungs and also draws in high oxygen intake.

Not surprisingly, he also preaches weight loss goal setting. As the book claimed, with the Anthony Robbins diet plan, practitioners will not only gain good health and weight loss but also a happy and relaxed mind.

If your goal is to lose weight and be healthy, perhaps Anthony Robbins diet plan is just the solution for you. <bio>Chris Chew is the author of "Burn Fat Build Muscles Fast".
In my counseling work, I often work with clients who have a deep fear of commitment. These individuals generally say that they want to be in a loving relationship, yet they keep picking "the wrong people."

Susan, 38, sought my help because she was in two relationships at the same time. This didn't feel right to her, so she knew that she had to make a choice. Yet she could not seem to decide which relationship was right for her.

Susan had been in a relationship with Shawn for two years. Shawn, 43, was a delightful man, fun loving and sweet. However, Shawn would emotionally disappear for long periods of time, and he was clear that he did not want children -- which was very important to Susan. In addition, Shawn was always living on the edge financially.

Then Susan met Calvin, who was totally different than Shawn. Calvin stayed emotionally present, had a job he loved and made very good money, and wanted to have children. Susan was very attracted to Calvin and in her heart she knew that he was a much better choice for her than Shawn. Yet she could not seem to let go of Shawn.

As we explored the situation, it became apparent that Susan couldn't let go of Shawn because she was terrified of commitment. With Shawn there was no chance of being in a committed relationship -- he was not really available. Yet Susan felt "safe" with Shawn. Safe from what?

Susan discovered that she was terrified of really being in love, which was a possibility with Calvin but not with Shawn. In her mind, being in love meant losing her freedom. When she thought of being with Calvin, she felt like she couldn't breathe. Her concept of a loving relationship was that, "You are together all the time. I couldn't just go and be with my friends or take a vacation with a friend. Commitment means giving up freedom."

No wonder she felt safe with Shawn! As long as Susan felt she had to give herself up to be in a loving relationship, she would not be able to make a commitment.

Douglas, 34, another client of mine, has the exact same problem. When he is in a relationship, he is a very "nice guy." He tends to try to please his partner because, in his mind, taking care of himself and doing the things he wants to do is selfish. Yet, in giving himself up to his partner, he ends up resenting her and ending the relationship. Like Susan, he is operating under the false belief that he has to give up his personal freedom to be in a loving relationship.

Both Susan and Douglas have a major false belief that is causing their fear of commitment: that loving another person means doing what that person wants instead of staying true to themselves and taking loving care of themselves. They both have a false definition of selfish. They think they are being selfish if they take care of themselves instead of care-take their partners. I offered them this definition of selfish:

Selfish is when you expect someone else to give themselves up for you -- to not do what they want to do and instead do what you want them to do. Selfish is when you do not support others in taking loving care of themselves and instead expect them to take care of you.

Giving yourself up is a form of control. You want to control how the other person feels about you by doing what they want you to do. When you do what another person wants you to do from love and caring, with no agenda to get their approval, you feel wonderful. But when you give yourself up from fear of your partner's anger or withdrawal, you will feel trapped and resentful. To be in a committed relationship, your first commitment needs to be to yourself -- to your truth, integrity and freedom.

Learning to take loving care of yourself is the key to healing a fear of commitment. When you are taking loving care of yourself, you will be filled with love and you will have much love to share with your partner! <bio>Margaret Paul, Ph.D., best-selling author of eight books, including "Do I Have To Give Up Me To Be Loved By You" and co-creator of the powerful Inner Bonding healing process.
There's no doubt about it. Audio books have made life a whole lot easier.

For those of us who like to workout to stay in great shape, audio books can help us achieve this with less stress.

No longer should you engage in workouts just listening to music or to the radio. Now, with audio books, you can kill 2 birds with one stone.

Below are exact ways in which you can use the power of audio books to maximize your workout.

One - there are educative audio books that will show you more beneficial ways of staying in shape. Many people who workout don't even know the right ways to do so. Instead of guessing it, there are great audio books that will help you out.

No matter how much you think already know about working out, there are audio books out there that will teach you much better ways.

Some of these workout related audio books come with calming music in the background, thereby making you stay focused and attentive during the workout.

Two - audio books during workouts help to take your mind away from the physical activity. Instead of concentrating on the pain of the workout, you will be concentrating on the message contained in the audio book.

This will allow you to stay longer when working out. If you usually jog for, say 10 minutes, with an interesting audio book you will be able to increase the jogging time to, say 30 minutes or more.

Three - there are specific audio books that talk about the importance of staying in shape and looking great. Such audio books can be great during workouts.

They help to give you more reasons why you should stay at it working out, instead of giving yourself excuses why you shouldn't.

For example, audio books by motivational experts such as Anthony Robbins who was previously overweight, but now has lost weight and looks great, can influence you on the need to workout, even when you don't feel like it.

These books will help you to understand why you should workout to lose weight and realize that if Anthony Robbins could do it, you can do it too.

Four - for those who might want to give up their exercise when it gets difficult, an inspiring audio book during exercises can influence and motivate you to keep at it.

So, if you have always had a problem with sticking with your workout, get some great workout related and motivational audio books, such as Anthony Robbins "Awaken The Giant Within" and "Unlimited Power".

Not only will these helpful audio books help you mentally, they will help you stick to your workout plan. And eventually you will look great physically and feel great mentally. <bio>Janet Rusky is an upcoming author who runs one of the best audio book stores on the internet where 7000 titles divided in hundreds of categories are available for immediate download. http://best-audiobook-store.com </bio>

If you have ever been on a cruise or a part of a guided travel group you have probably met travel guides and agents along for the journey. You have probably also noticed that they seem to always travel in style, regardless of where they are going or how long the trip is expected to last. If you understand how the travel industry works, you can become part of this exciting industry and you too can travel in style, often at greatly discounted rates.

Industries involved in destination travel such as airlines, hotels and business making their money from the tourism trade are always looking for ways to increase their business and are willing to share their advertising dollars with those that can deliver new and repeat business. Many times, they are willing to offer discounted packages to individuals in the travel business to make them more aware of their services, inviting them to write about their experiences to entice others to book similar trips.

Just as many companies offer free products for people to test and then report their experiences to others, travel-related industries count on good reviews of their services in order to attract others to their business. You have probably seen offers for free nights in new motels, a common tact used in the hotel industry, in order to attract new business. These hotels are rarely alone in the offering knowing that in many instances, sir travel will be needed for you to get to the hotel and once there you will probably spend money at nearby locations.

Many people take advantage of these free offers and they do spend money along the way. The hotel offering the free rooms are hoping you enjoy your stay so much that you will book with them at a later date, paying for the stay this time. In order to enhance your experience they usually make sure you receive top-notch service and often work with the airlines to provide first-class arrangements at coach prices. By being treated like a king from the time you board the plane until you arrive back home, chances are you will remember the trip and book through the hotel in the future.

If you have a travel-related website and often publish information about specific destinations, be sure to forward this information as well as link to your site and ask about complimentary or at least reduced arrangements the hotel or airline might offer and then take advantage of any free offers than happen to come your way. Be sure that if you do take advantage of the company's generosity, that you send them a link to any postings you make about your experience.

The key to receiving additional offers from the same company, or from others, is that if you have a problem, give them a chance to rectify it instead of telling the world how lousy you were treated. They are willing to work at ironing out any problems and maybe even offering a chance to have the trip made right. If you only publish less than flattering information the odds of receiving additional freebies is greatly diminished. <bio>Anthony Covington is an experienced online marketer who helps ordinary people to build a successful Home business.
I'm just sitting here with Anthony right now -- Anthony comes up here every Tuesday morning to hang out.

We're just sitting here and my cell phone just went off. My ring tone happens to be Michael Myers -- the theme song from the movie Halloween.

Anthony looked at me and said, "David, do you know what? Michael Myers is the ultimate cockblocker! Every time a couple is about to have hot sex (or they just finished with it) Michael Myers shows up and kills them!"

So, with Halloween coming up, the question is: who is the ultimate cockblocker?

First, there is Michael Myers, who shows up with his mask when the couple is supposed to be babysitting. You can see him, but the couple can't, and they have sex like crazy and then Michael Myers comes out and kills one of them in the bathroom.

So Michael Myers either a) has never had sex before so he's jealous of them and has to kill them, or b) is really a pervert and gets off on this whole thing. Perhaps to him the sex is the foreplay and the killing is the actual orgasm.

But let's think about the other famous cockblockers in history this Halloween. What about Freddy Krueger?

Freddy Krueger used to mess with you too. You would never be able to have sex with your girlfriend, because he would nail you before you got the opportunity.

Do you remember Johnny Depp in the original Nightmare on Elm Street? He was just making out in bed, and then all of a sudden Freddy showed up and just took him. Freddy Krueger didn't even allow you have sex before he got you.

What about Jason from Friday the 13th? Man, you'd finally get to sneak away with that hot and sexy camp counselor and you'd be banging her in the storage closet. It was great. And then she'd have to go pee, of course, after sex, and she'd be singing away in the bathroom.

And then, all of a sudden, Jason would come in behind you as you were lay in bed thinking of a hot round 2.

You'd say, "man, you came back from the bathroom quickly," and then you'd hear the Jason music and he'd use a hatchet to cut you up into a million pieces.

It seems like there have been a lot of famous cockblockers out there in history. And with Halloween coming right around the corner, we have to know: who are the other famous cockblockers in horror movies? It seems like a staple of every horror movie is the world's worst cockblocker.

When you're out this Friday night and you think your friend is cockblocking you -- or a girl is cockblocking you -- think of that person as Michael Myers.

And the next time you're talking a woman with a group of her friends and one of the friends cockblocks you, just look at her and picture her with a Halloween mask on and smile. Say to the cockblocker, "excuse me, do you know that you remind me of someone?"

She'll say, "who?" And you can reply, "Michael Myers from Halloween." And then tell the whole group this story. She will laugh her ass off! Have fun with this.

And let me know -- who are some other famous modern day cockblockers?<bio>Hailed on Fox News, The LA Times, The NY Times, Playboy and more...
Do you trust your feelings and take action for yourself based on your feelings? Many of us grew up learning to mistrust our feelings. "Don't be ridiculous," my mother often said to me when I asked her why she was angry. "I'm not angry," she would say with anger in her voice. "Don't be ridiculous" was what I often heard in response to many of my feelings. So I learned to mistrust my feelings. It took me many years of inner work to regain trust in my feelings.

Feelings are information. Our feelings such as anger, anxiety, depression, and hurt are letting us know that we are telling ourselves something that is not true, or treating ourselves in unloving ways. Our uncomfortable or lonely feelings around another person may be telling us that the other person is being judgmental, needy, angry, blaming or inauthentic.

For example, Sally consulted with me because she often found herself repulsed by her husband's sexual advances. She was confused because she loved Tim very much, and there were times when she was sexually attracted to him. But most of the time she was turned off to him.

"Sally, when Tim approaches you for sex, what is his energy like?"

"Most of the time, I feel like he is pulling on me and demanding something from me. It doesn't feel loving, it feels needy. But when I say something about it to him, he tells me that it us my issue -- that he loves me and just wants to express his love. I get so confused."

Sally has a hard time trusting her feelings because her mother was constantly invalidating her feelings as she was growing up. She has the same problem with a neighbor:

"It seems to me that Chelsea is often subtly judging my daughter in front of her, yet when I've said something to her she makes me feel like it's my issue."

"Sally, if you decided to trust and honor your feelings, what would you do differently with Tim and Chelsea?"

"Humm...well, I think I would stop being so tentative and stop judging myself and be firm with them."

"So what would you say to Tim when he is needy with you?"

"I would say, 'Tim, I love you and I am turned on to you when you come to me with your love, but not when you come to me with this empty needy energy.'"

"What would you say to Chelsea?"

"I would say, 'Chelsea, it is not okay to judge my daughter. If you keep doing this, I will not spend time with you.'"

"And what would you say or do if they tried to make it your issue?"

"I think I would say, 'This doesn't feel good,' and then walk away.

"How would you feel if you did this?"

"I would feel great!"

Andrew has a similar issue with his wife Susan. Andrew often feels Susan is being what he calls "not real." "There is something about her that is often inauthentic -- like she is being a certain way to get approval from me and from others. I feel smothered by it and I shut down. Then she complains about my withdrawal and about my not wanting to have sex with her. But when I try to explain it to her, she gets angry and defensive and tells me that I have a problem with intimacy."

"Andrew, you are not trusting and honoring your feelings, which does create a problem with intimacy because you withdraw rather than speak your truth. If you were to totally trust your feelings when Susan is being inauthentic and pulling for approval, you would speak your truth instead of withdraw. Susan doesn't know when she is being inauthentic. She is just confused by your withdrawal. If you learn to trust your feelings and honor them by telling your truth, you will likely see much improvement in your relationship."

Andrew was surprised to learn that Susan actually appreciated hearing his truth, and their relationship is gradually improving. <bio>Margaret Paul, Ph.D., best-selling author of eight books, including "Do I Have To Give Up Me To Be Loved By You" and co-creator of the powerful Inner Bonding healing process.
The Story that Can Happen to Anyone

As we read over all the information, we found about the Mortgage Secrets Book, there's a story many of you can most likely relate to once or twice. It's about a lady named Susan Lassiter-Lyons who went to seminar after seminar trying to get as much information on lenders and private funding sources. The end result was wasted time, lost money, and feeling the pinch every time she was in front of a broker.

So, long story short she became an investor herself and not only did what she needed to do, she helped a few of her friends in the process. There's more to it, but we'll let you read it at your own leisure. The main thing is that Susan came out with the Mortgage Secrets Book that has about 47 different ways that investors and banks can steal money from you. It's amazing this is even possible, but evidently it happens every day.

Who Is This For?

As you read over the section, you'll find a small list of things you may be wanting money for that deals with Real Estate. For instance, the fact that many brokers will tell you 20% down must be used in order to purchase an investment property. You might be trying to get cash back at the closing, but the broker said it just won't happen. Better yet, the seller offers cash at the closing, but your broker says it's too much.

Keep in mind these are all different scenarios that the Mortgage Secrets Book goes over. Anybody who is interested in becoming successful in this field should at least want to read over their sales page at the very least. Also, you'll find the eBook itself to be small compared to others. Does this mean it doesn't offer good information? No, it just means there isn't a bunch of hype built within the important stuff.

Our Overall Analysis

When it comes down to whether or not you plan on getting involved with this program, you will really feel the motivation after Susan asks if the scenarios have happened to you. Now, surely you were wondering how someone can go from getting taken advantage of to actually helping others, but we think that's part of the beauty. There's nothing like overcoming the odds like Susan explains that she did.

Back in 2003 I purchased a house and to be honest, I wish I had have read this manual before purchasing it. It probably would have helped me secure a lower interest rate than I actually ended up paying. And the short cuts I missed probably even cost me more money than that.

So, read over it, see if you can use the information, and make a decision about what you plan on doing with this program. With Susan's help, you could end up making money at the sale, getting cash in return, all while having a new property that you just invested in.
One of the keys to successful marketing is identifying what makes your business unique and letting everybody know about it.

This helps your prospects to understand why they should buy from you rather than the "other guy". When used successfully, it makes your product or services the obvious choice. This is often called a USP or Unique Selling Proposition.

The best USP's consist of unique concepts that set your business favorably apart from the competition. When you do this, you effectively make the prospective customer a promise that you do things a certain way, and get specific results. Therefore, it's vitally important that you never use a USP that you can't honestly fulfill.

Companies who employ USP's have a basis for competing in the marketplace that goes way beyond price. And, since there always seems to be someone who can do it cheaper, it puts your business into a different league.

Surprisingly enough, there are many companies that don't use USP's. Sometimes they manage to exist; but often they lose steam and fail. For marketing that really packs a punch and for those of you who "hate selling" a USP is one of the things that will help to convince prospective customers to buy.

Here's a simple exercise to help you identify your USP:

1. Gather together a couple of people from your team, or who know something about your business.

2. Put yourselves in the shoes of others in your industry, especially your prospective customers.

3. Pinpoint the types of things these others might say about the products, services and companies in your industry. Don't holdback - include stereotypes and globalisms -- sometimes even funny ones will help.

4. Make a long list.

5. Step back into your own shoes.

6. Now, read your list. What makes YOU or your company different, REALLY different?

7. Select the most compelling ones that you honestly come by and incorporate them into your marketing program.

Some ways to use your USP:

•	Sound-bites or elevator speeches •	Marketing messages •	Brochures •	Value Propositions •	Advertising •	Press Releases •	Proposals

ฉ 2004-2007, Susan Martin, Business Sanity. <bio>Susan Martin, NYC based business coach helps business owners and professionals get Business Sanity.
So what does depression and thinking right have to do with feeling happy again. Well you will find that the two are actually interconnected. Generally people who have depression don't think the way a normal happy person does, therefore one of the best things to do is to change the way that a depressed person thinks.

So how can you change the thought process of a depressed person? Well depression and thinking right can be easily achieved if you know and follow the best methods. Basically a depressed person likes to think about how bad their life is and how no one cares about them. People must understand that all they really want is for someone to notice and to love them.

So what does this have to do with depression and thinking right? Well most people believe that depression is some sort of genetic disease that holds someone back from feeling the way most people do. We couldn't be further from the truth. Depression isn't a disease, it's just a state of mind that we as the people trying to help someone who is depressed must make sure we know what it is they truly want.

If they are lonely, spend time with them. Even if that just means sitting down and listening to them moan for a while. Be careful though, if you allow a depressed person to sit and talk about how depressing their life is, they will just end up going into an even more depressed state. If you notice this happening, snap them out of it immediately, by changing the subject to someone that has nothing to do with what they are talking about.

Life coach Anthony Robbins talks about one time when he was listening to someone talk about how depressing their life, he actually changed their state by pouring a glass of water on them. Well you can imagine how the person would have reacted. They thought he was crazy, however Anthony achieved what he wanted to, he changed their state. See if you can come up with your own methods of state change.

So as you can see depression and thinking right go hand in hand. If there is someone you know that seems a little depressed, then instead of just saying "oh well they're just depressed" try thinking about what you have learnt here. Put yourself in their shoes and think about what you would want if you thought that everyone didn't like you because you were depressed. What would you want. So that's it, depression and thinking right and the methods of solution. <bio>If you want to find out more about depression please visit http://www.depressioncritic.com/ or if you want to read some more free articles all about depression, please check out our blog - http://www.depressioncritic.com/depression/ </bio>

There are many baby boomer geniuses out there, and many more who have accomplished great feats. One who comes to mind and is at the top of the list, and has had tremendous influence on so many of us. His name is Anthony Robbins. He created an empire with an idea. However his idea is so powerful that it has affected millions of people. And of course the idea has many facets, and has developed with our changing times. Human behavior has been a popular topic for many years. Norman Vincent Peale had a simple strategy for the power of positive thinking. It was pretty simple at the time, but has become far more complicated as time has progressed. It is compared to how lives have also become more complicated. For example televisions that used to just have on and off buttons...Well you know the rest of the story.

I personally became acquainted with his teachings about eighteen years ago, when his remarkable journey was destined for tremendous success. After reading about his dark times and seeing what he accomplished afterwards was of great inspiration. He had gained a lot of weight, difficulty paying his bills and not at all happy with his life. It is said that he had to wash his dishes in his bathtub. However, this situation did not last long. It is proof that anyone can make radical changes in life at any point, no matter what the circumstances are. People tend to get stuck and feel that the situation they are in will never change. So the self pity grows by leaps and bounds not leaving much room for developing new and creative ways to improve and enjoy life.

To my knowledge, he does not possess any advanced degrees but studied voraciously on his own. He always had great insight into people's psyche and what needed to be done to solve enormous problems. There is also proof in life that we can achieve and accomplish great feats and have many of the things we want with a passionate dream. However it is not enough to just want and dream about something, but the commitment has to be so great that you live with your dream 24/7.

In his books and tapes there are many examples, exercises and methods for achieving these goals. Just when you think everything has been said and every guru has had his day something new emerges. It proves there is always room for one more great idea.

Anthony Robbins has changed many people's lives, but only by people who were willing to follow his teachings and stick with them. How many times have you gone to a seminar and came out a "changed person", only to lapse back into old habits in a few weeks. It is a daily commitment and effort to create these changes in life.

Robbins is a man who practices what he preaches, and is blessed with untiring energy and enthusiasm. Not only has he created a great empire, but has given back in so many ways. Of course it does help that he is tall, handsome and dynamic. He is on the end of the baby boomer ladder, but we can proudly call him one of us.<bio>Carol Stanley Speaker and Author For Kids 59.99 and Over http://www.carolstanley1.com</bio>

A Little Bit of Credit Repair

It's amazing how much of a difference a little bit of credit repair can make. Here is a true story about a life changing credit transformation. Do you have credit issues? Please don't ignore your credit. A little bit of credit repair can go a long way.

John and Susan declared bankruptcy in January of 2004 and were discharged four months later in April. They were under the impression that there was nothing that could be done to repair their credit following the bankruptcy. They both felt as if they were holding their breath and waiting for the years to pass. In January of 2008 they decided to apply for an FHA mortgage.

They were not really surprised when they were turned down. The mortgage broker told them that their credit scores were in the 400s, but that he thought they should explore the possibility of credit repair. John contacted a reputable credit repair company for a consultation and was surprised to hear that there are many things that can be done after a bankruptcy to clean up one's credit report.

John signed up for the credit repair program and provided their account representative with a copy of the bankruptcy discharge and the schedule of items included. The credit repair professional gave them some advice about rebuilding their credit and provided several links to secured credit card issuers.

He informed them that these new cards, as small as they are, have tremendous power to rebuild their credit scores as long as they are managed properly. He advised them that the FICO credit scoring model, in use by the majority of lenders, recognizes five levels of card usage - specifically 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 percent. He suggested that they open two new cards each and maintain the balances below 20 percent of the credit limit.

The credit repair company went to work on the post-bankruptcy clean up while John and Susan opened their new secured credit cards making sure to keep the balances in the range that the credit repair professional had suggested. About 45 days later they received updated credit reports in the mail from each of the three credit bureaus. They were surprised to see the number of items that had been corrected.

They contacted the credit repair company to review the results and after going over all of the details were thrilled to hear that the post bankruptcy clean up was completed. No longer were there past due amounts showing on the accounts that had been included in the bankruptcy, nor were any accounts listed in a collection status. In fact, their credit report looked so clean that they could hardly recognize it.

The credit repair representative explained to them that unlike other derogatory information that ought to be disputed in a paced manner to avoid being rejected by the credit bureaus, bankruptcy issues should be addressed all at once. So, much to John and Susan's surprise, they found that that had already successfully completed their credit repair program.

The credit repair representative spent some time coaching them about debt management and the ongoing handling of the new credit cards. John and Susan could hardly believe their ears when the credit repair representative suggested that they consider reapplying for the mortgage in another five months, just enough time for the new secured credit cards to produce a positive impact on their credit scores.

And, so it was that in the first week of July 2008, only six months after contact the credit repair company that John and Susan returned to the mortgage broker and asked to reapply for an FHA mortgage. The mortgage broker was surprised to see them and even suggested that it was a bit soon for their credit scores to have improved much from the 400s that they had been in January. But when he ran the credit he was amazed at what he saw.

John and Susan's credit scores were in the mid 600s, a full 200 points above where they had been only 6 months prior. The mortgage broker was thrilled to complete the application. The next day the mortgage broker called Susan at work and told her the great news; she and John had been approved for their mortgage and qualified for the lowest available FHA interest rate.

Last week John and Susan moved into their new home. It's a beautiful three bedroom, two bath ranch on half an acre just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. John has already purchased a new grill and a lawn mower. A couple of days ago Susan surprised John by bringing home a new member of the family, a two year old Golden Retriever from the local pound. Yesterday they got on two phone lines in their new home and called their credit repair representative to thank him for his guidance and to share all of their life changing news.

Copyright ฉ 2008 James W. The qualities that help make entrepreneurs successful range from the practical to the esoteric; from learned skills to natural tendancies, or the way you think, act and behave.

The qualities that make entrepreneurs successful often have to do with "big picture" skills like planning, acting and thinking strategically, or being able to create or envision something that doesn't exist yet.

Successful entrepreneurs also tend to be able to detach themselves from what's happening, get a bird's eye view, in order to get a new prospective and see what's really happening and what has to be done.

Here (in no particular order) are some of the most significant entrepreneurial characteristics:

• Energy and enthusiasm. • A passion for what you do. • The assertiveness to push forward your ideas. • A love of novelty and new things. • Take initiative to do what needs to be done. • Creativity and imagination. • Be a self starter, make things happen on your own. • Be able to manage your time and be productive.

• Be really good at following-through. • Be ready for anything that comes up. • Think positively and believe in yourself. • The ability to make decisions. • Not be afraid or embarrassed to ask for help when needed. • Effectiveness at persuasion.

• Problem solving skills. • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and creative. • Think "out of the box". • The ability to produce results. • Ability to take risks and do so in a calculated way. • Enjoy the ride, if you don't why bother? • The ability to negotiate and compromise, not get so stuck that nothing moves forward. • An exacting and exhaustive mentality. • An appropriate sense of urgency. • Resilience after Failure, not giving up when things get tough. • Alertness to all that's happening around you. • Leadership: The ability to envision the future and motivate others to follow that vision.

• The ability to manage stress.
One of my clients, a divorced businessman, has a 16-year-old son "Evan". Evan just told his dad that he's gay. He said it very confidently. To Evan, there appears to be no doubt about this. But his dad wonders. The plot thickens: it seems that Evan has an Aunt "Susan" who is a lesbian=85Susan is reportedly "very artistic, creative and a lot of fun". Evan has long enjoyed visiting Susan and her partner at their home. Evan's dad, trying to make sense of all of this, wonders if there was some "man-hating stuff going on in that home, because of little things that Evan would say", but he never said anything because Evan adores his Aunt Susan.

My client wonders: is it possible that Evan is really gay? How can you know this at such a young age? Is it possible that he wants to be "gay" like his Aunt Susan and her partner because he loves them so much? Should I put Evan into therapy to deal with this?

Recent psychological research =96 and my own years of experience as an LGBT psychotherapist =96 has found that many adult lesbians and gay/bisexual men and woman "knew" about their sexual orientation at a young age, in some cases, as young as 5 or 6. I am not saying Evan is necessarily in this bunch, but it possible that he knows who he is and has clarity about it. Another possibility is that Evan is experiencing same-sex feelings for other males and that this may (and I repeat, MAY) eventually evolve into other sexual feelings, be they gay, bisexual or straight.

One of the more interesting aspects of recent research on sexuality is the idea of "fluidity" of sexual orientation. In my own private practice, more and more young people =96 particularly those in their late teens and early 20's - tell me that they feel their sexual identity is "fluid", not "fixed", e.g., a 19-year-old woman may currently prefer a female lover, but her previous lover may have been a straight or bisexual male. Perhaps younger people are less obsessed with labeling sexual orientation and more interested in experiencing it.

It is highly unlikely that Evan's affection for his Aunt Susan and her partner have contributed to his self-proclaimed sexual orientation as a gay male. The vast majority of research shows that having a lesbian aunt could HELP Evan to accept his homosexuality, but it would not be the CAUSE of it. This is the sort of thinking that some reactionary religious groups have been promoting for years: that a young person can be "converted" into becoming gay/lesbian/bisexual. (Remember the "Ellen" episode where she joked that she gets a toaster oven for each person she "converted"?). The people around us can't make us queer, but they can certainly make it easier or harder for us to come out if we are. As for the "man-hating" talk my client suspects, I recommended that he speak with Susan about it if it really concerns him. I suggested that he not ask Evan about it, as that could put Evan in the middle of an issue that is really for Evan's dad and his Aunt Susan to discuss.

I strongly recommend that parents who find themselves in this kind of situation consider therapy for themselves, as it's likely that you are the person having a hard time dealing with your child identifying as gay. P-FLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays).is a national group supporting people who love - but may be baffled by - their lesbian and gay children. Look for them on the Internet and locate the meeting nearest you.

And what about Evan's dad? This is what I told him: "Whether Evan identifies as gay in the future or not, he identifies as gay NOW so please get yourself some support in coping with this. You could also go online and Google books and resources for parents of gay/lesbian/bisexual children. You are NOT alone". Therapy for Evan? I suggested that my client ask Evan if he would be interested in talking with a gay-friendly psychotherapist. If so, great. P-FLAG would be an efficient way to locate local psychotherapists who would be a good match for him.

Parents: no matter what you think is best for your gay-identifying child, if he or she doesn't want psychotherapy, don't pressure them into it. If you do, you may rupture the lines of communication you want to keep open. Remember Dear Parents, YOU are the adult and your child (no matter how independent they appear) needs you to be nurturing and rational. Take good care of yourself so you can take care of your child. It may sound corny, but love your children as they are, whomever they love. Your gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender-identifying child needs a loving and supportive parent; don't let them down. <bio>Michael Kimmel,LCSW, is an openly-gay psychotherapist with a private practice in San Diego, CA.
We talked to North America's leading In Situ Leach (ISL) uranium mining engineers, and had them explain exactly how ISL worked. Most of the significant ISL operations in the United States were designed and/or constructed by these engineers. They explained how ISL mining is really just reversing the process of Mother Nature.

ISL EXTRACTION AND PROCESSING

During ISL mining, water is pumped to the surface from production wells that contain uranium in very low concentrations, on the order of parts per million concentrations. The next step in the ISL process is to extract the uranium dicarbonate. Extraction is done by chemically exchanging ions inside a processing facility. "The ion exchange process is very analogous to a home Culliganฎ water softener," Anthony revealed. "It removes hardness or calcium from the water by replacing it with sodium, using ion exchange resins. If you go to Lowe's or Home Depot, and buy a water softener, you basically have a home version of a uranium extraction plant." The main difference is your water softener will have a cation exchanger. "For a uranium plant to function properly, you need to use an anion exchange resin, which is specifically designed to load uranium," Anthony clarified.

And what is this magical "ion exchange resin"? The resin is comprised of little polymer beads, which are charged particles having an affinity for uranium anions. "There are literally millions of these small resin beads in a vessel, which can adsorb low concentration of uranium in solution," said Anthony. Adsorption is when something is attracted to something else or clings to it, like static electricity.

Why do you have to process uranium like this? "In essence, the ion exchange process is a beneficiation (reduction) process that concentrates large volumes of low concentrate uranium solution into a much smaller volume containing a much higher concentration of uranium," said Anthony. In other words, the beneficiation is just concentrating the uranium from the large volume of water in which it is mined into a more compact form. The preferred means is through an ion exchange.

Anthony gave a real-life example of the beneficiation process, "Three million gallons of wellfield solution containing dilute concentrations of uranium, of 100 parts per million minus 0.10 grams/liter, is passed through a bed of ion exchange resin. This might take 24 hours to achieve if the solution is flowing at 2,500 gallons per minute. After this length of time, the resin becomes loaded with approximately 2,500 pounds of uranium."

STRIPPING THE URANIUM

Stripping the uranium is called the elution process. This is done through a chemical exchange of positively and negatively charged ions. Resins are classified by the charge on the active sites. "The active sites on the resin are positively charged for anion resins and negatively charged for cation resins," Norris enlightened us. "The resin's ability to extract chemical ions from a solution is derived from what's called an active site," he continued. "In our case, chloride ions obtained from ordinary tale salt are used to stabilize or temporarily neutralize this positively charged active site." The negatively charged chloride ion sticks to the positively charged site, held in place by what Norris called "electrostatic forces." When the negatively charged ions, such as uranyl dicarbonate, are placed in contact with the solution, it will kick off the chloride and replace that with the uranyl dicarbonate.

That was the chemistry lesson. Anthony summed it up in a nutshell, "They just displace it. There's a greater affinity for the chloride ion to the resin than there is for the uranium. So, the uranium is stripped from the resin bed." The processing facility chemically strips the loaded uranium from the resin by soaking the entire package of uranium-laden resin in a salt bath solution. "The volume of salt solution is on the order of 10,000 gallons resulting in a solution concentration of 30 grams/liter uranium," Anthony said, describing the process of how the uranium becomes concentrated. "The stripped uranium solution concentration is magnified 300 times more than the wellfield solution," he informed us. "The concentration level can now be economically processed for recovery: precipitation, dewatering, drying and drumming for a nuclear facility."

GETTING URANIUM INTO THE DRUM

After the uranium has been removed from the solution, it is precipitated. At this point in the processing stage, you have yellowcake slurry. Up close, it looks like a sort of yellowish and wet, runny cement mixture. The dewatering process does just that, it removes the water from the yellowcake mixture.

"I use a filter press, a device that is designed to separate solids from solutions," explained Anthony. Filter presses are extensively used in various types of food, chemical and drug processing across the world. "The uranium solids, now looking more like yellowcake, are retained in the filter press, where they can be washed and later air dried, before drying them to a powder with a low temperature vacuum dryer," said Anthony taking us step by step through this process.

So what is the filter press and how do you end up with the finished yellowcake when you're done? "It's a series of plates and hollow frames, or it could be a series of recessed chambers," Anthony answered. "Filter cloth is draped over the plates or chalked in the recessed chambers. The yellowcake slurry is pumped through the filter allowing the liquid phase to pass through the filter cloth, trapping the uranium oxide inside the device." Anthony likes to pack the filter press up with as much yellowcake as it can hold. "It is then washed with clean water to displace the chloride ions to a low level," Anthony explained. If you don't remove the chloride concentrations to the acceptable level required by an uranium enrichment facility, a fine is assessed against that shipment.

The final steps include conveying the yellowcake to the vacuum dryer. The uranium oxide's color depends on how high or low a temperature is used to dry the "yellowcake." Patrick Drummond, the Smith-Highland Ranch plant superintendent, showed us pure uranium oxide dried at high temperatures. It was nearly black. After the drying process is complete, the uranium is packaged up in DOE-approved 55 gallon drums and transported to an enrichment facility. It is then when the enriched uranium can finally be used to power a nuclear reactor and provide an inexpensive source of electricity. <bio>James Finch contributes to http://StockInterview.com and other publications.
The two rules of procrastination: 1) Do it today. 2) Tomorrow will be today tomorrow. Vincent T. Foss

Susan Daley was a successful entrepreneur selling promotional products. She enjoyed making decent money while having the flexibility to work at home. Susan recently took over a colleague's account, a huge growth opportunity. So why did she spend her mornings playing solitaire in her messy office rather than making phone calls to prospects?

To procrastinate is "to put off doing something", or "to postpone or delay needlessly". Sometimes we avoid doing the tasks that must be done because they are unpleasant or boring, or because we have poor time management skills or are lazy. And yet, often it is the tasks we most want to do that we put off, resulting in much internal pressure.

In Susan's case, she loved building relationships with potential clients, helping them to better serve their customers and employees, and making a good paycheck to support her family.

So what was going on?

Awareness is the first step. Think about your excuses for not accomplishing your goals. Everyone has his or her own pattern of procrastinating. Here are eight examples:

- Fear of change, rejection or failure - Need to be perfect (I can't do it perfectly so I won't start) - Lack of time - Too much stress, pressure or anxiety which leads to paralysis - Overwhelm on how to start (task is too big, don't know how to do it, etc.) - Self-doubt or lack of confidence - Disorganization, indecision - Other priorities, big (work/family crisis) and little (need to check email first!)

Do these excuses sound reasonable and logical? That's often the case. The problem is that if you buy into the excuses, you don't follow-through on the steps needed to achieve your goals. Procrastination can feel good in the moment, but then creates stress. This becomes a vicious cycle.

Overcoming Procrastination

The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing. Walt Disney

Getting into action alleviates the stress of procrastination almost instantaneously.

Here are the five simple steps:

1. Identify the task to be done 2. Identify the first or next step to accomplish the task 3. Commit to a time when you will begin the first step 4. Be aware of your pattern of excuses 5. BUT begin the first step in collaboration with the excuses

Susan outlined the steps needed to organize her files and her office to have ready access to client information. She set daily and weekly goals for contacting prospects and clients. Working with a coach provided the structure and accountability to stay in action on these tasks. She developed strategies to counteract the fear of rejection that was fueling some of the procrastination.

Don't worry about eliminating all the excuses, or analyzing too much why you are procrastinating. Getting into action actually reduces the grip of the inertia and overwhelm of procrastination. As Susan found, it can be helpful to have partners and strategies to keep the excuses at bay.

You'll feel more confident and relaxed as you experience the success of reaching your goals. You gain momentum and if you begin the task again and again, you WILL ultimately achieve it. <bio>Debra Taylor is principal of Discover Your Light (http://www.discoveryourlight.com)and a career and life coach.
