<content:encoded><![CDATA[If an animal or other dog bites your dog, the possibility of it becoming serious is very likely. The saliva of other animals or dogs contains huge amounts of bacteria, which can certainly induce an infection throughout the wound. Even a little bite that does not look serious can critically damage your dogs underlying tissue. Regardless of the size of a bite wound, it is best to have a veterinarian check and treat the injury to make sure it remains infection free and does not end up worse. Here are five things you should know and do if your dog does end up bitten by another animal.<br><br>1. When a dog experiences pain, often it will lash out, even at their owners or family members. This is extremely common so the first thing you should do if your dog receives a bite is place a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/muzzle" rel="tag">muzzle</a> on your dog, which gives you protection in case the dog snaps and tries to bite you or someone else. Before touching the animal, use a muzzle, or if you do not have one available, use a makeshift one and carefully tie the dogs mouth closed using panty hose, gauze, or other material available but without covering the dog's nostrils. If the dog suddenly gets stick or starts <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/having+trouble+breathing" rel="tag">having trouble breathing</a>, remove the muzzle immediately.<br><br>2. If the pet is tiny and cannot wear a muzzle, use a towel and place it around the dog's head to protect you from a dog bite. You certainly want to avoid blocking the dog's air supply, so wrap its head loosely and only leave the towel on for a short period.---<br><br>3. Once you have muzzled the dog, you should use K-Y or another <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/type+of+water" rel="tag">type of water</a>-soluble jelly and carefully put a thin layer directly on the dog's bite wound. You are now ready to trim the hair near and around the bite <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wound+area" rel="tag">wound area</a>. This makes it simpler to clean the wound along with helping it air out so it heals quicker. Use electric clippers, a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/disposable+razor" rel="tag">disposable razor</a> or scissors to gently, carefully trim the hair. The K-Y jelly will protect the injury by preventing the hair from getting into the bite wound. After trimming the dog's hair, clean the injury carefully to prevent infection. Use running, lukewarm water to flush the wound for approximately five minutes. If the bite is more than twenty-four hours old, use antibacterial soap to scrub the bite injury as there may already be bacteria in the wound. Flush with running, warm water and dry the wound.<br><br>4. Once you thoroughly clean and dry the injury, apply Neosporin or another antibiotic over-the-counter ointment on the wound. A clean cloth or gauze makes an excellent bandage but slip your finger under the bandage to be sure it is not too tight.<br><br>5. Always keep your dog's rabies vaccination and other vaccinations up to date.<br><br>Watch the dog bites carefully and have your veterinarian examine the dog wounds for your own peace of mind.<bio>For more information recommended by Kelly Marshall, see these recent articles <a href="http://petfoods4less.com/article.cfm/id/305386">Aggression With Dogs: How It Came Into Being</a> and <a href="http://www.iula.org/all-about-vitamins-6511/">All About Vitamins</a>.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Regardless of where you live, your dog must always have its own <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/private+domain" rel="tag">private domain</a> where it can feel at home. Find a quiet place for the dog to sleep. The location should be convenient for you and suitable for your pet. Make sure your dog feels comfortable there, and do not change the location afterwards. <br /><br /> An uncarpeted room, not too cold, with a floor that is easy to wash, is a good choice. A puppy must be well protected from draughts. Beware of cold air seeping in around doors and windows. A dog will automatically settle with its back against a wall, so arrange your pets spot next to a wall or in a corner but not too close to a radiator or heating vent because the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dogs" rel="tag">dogs</a> coat will dry out and become brittle. <br /><br /> The dogs place should be away from heavily traveled areas because the animal will probably need a lot of sleep, initially. But the dog should also be able to observe everyone's comings and goings so it can start taking part in family life. Your pet can probably sleep comfortably in a crate lined with cushions, a towel or shredded newspaper. Large dogs generally just sleep on a blanket. <br /><br /> If your dog will weigh less than 30 pounds when fully grown, you can use a wicker basket lined with a soft, easily washable cushion. The main concern is to see that the animal is well insulated from the floor. Air the dogs <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bedding" rel="tag">bedding</a> every day and clean it once a week. In summer, if your dog gets fleas or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tics" rel="tag">tics</a>, treat the bedding with flea and tick powder or replace it completely. <br /><br /> You can put the dog's two bowls -- one for food the other for water, near its bed. If the dog's <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/muzzle" rel="tag">muzzle</a> is pointed, use deep bowls, if its muzzle is blunt, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shallow+bowls" rel="tag">shallow bowls</a> are preferable. For a toy, give your dog a bone made of animal hide. It can cut its teeth safely, on the hide because even if it swallows a piece, the material is digestible. You may find that your dog will choose its own plaything; if so, make sure the choice is not an old shoe. This may encourage it to start chewing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/new+shoes" rel="tag">new shoes</a>. <bio>Randy Jones and his partner Brent Jones have been in the pet industry for a long time. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Bulldogs, one of the most popular show dogs of recent time, are loved by many people for their sweet-temperament and friendly behavior. They are also known as British or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/english+bulldogs" rel="tag">English Bulldogs</a>. Owing to their names, they reflect a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/true+elegance" rel="tag">true elegance</a> and tenderness in their dealing with other animals including human. However, in earlier days, Bulldogs were mostly known as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/guard+dogs" rel="tag">guard dogs</a>. They were much known for their aggression and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fighting+instinct" rel="tag">fighting instinct</a>. Although uncommon now, but Bulldogs of today can even show their fighting instinct depending on the situations encountered. <br /><br /> In 1864, the first standard for Bulldogs was drafted in England. It was adopted in the year 1875. The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bulldog+club+of+america" rel="tag">Bulldog Club of America</a> was formed in the year 1890, following which the club drafted a new standard in the year 1896. The standard was revised in the year 1914, while rejecting issues like the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dudley+nose" rel="tag">Dudley nose</a>. But in the year 1976, once again the standard was reevaluated and the Dudley nose was redefined as brown colored nose. Once again in the year 1990, the standard was restated, however, not changing any words or terminologies from the statements. <br /><br /> Typically Bulldogs have a medium-sized feature with a smooth coat all over the body. Native to England, these dogs have been marked with their short muzzle positioned over short-faced head. The three primary characteristics of a Bulldog are dynamism, persistence and energy. While the weight of a male adult is around fifty pounds, the weight of an average female is forty pounds. While looking straight to the dog, it can be seen that the lower part of the skull area holds the eyes of the dog. The eyes are positioned far away from their ears. <br /><br /> Bulldogs, typically known for their friendliness, obedience and companionship, are best known for their loyalty to their master and an occasional stubbornness. They feel themselves as a member of the family so strongly that they usually never act as an exploratory manner, even for a shorter distance, without being accompanied by the family members. Bulldogs are very sociable in nature. They have a natural ability to mix well with children, dogs from other breeds as well as other household animals. <br /><br /> Although their level of intelligence usually does not get much importance, their level of obedience simply does not have any other alternative. Typically Bulldogs experience different health complications throughout their lifetime. Breathing issues are mostly common among many Bulldogs, occurring as a result of the shortness of the muzzle. This causes Bulldogs to snore. Some Bulldogs are at risk for developing interstitial cysts, which occurs in-between the toes. Although this condition is curable with the help of experienced veterinarian, the dog experiences an extensive level of discomfort. Other common health problems are allergies, cherry eyes and hip-related problems. <br /><br /> A daily cleaning is mandatory for Bulldogs in order to keep them away from different infections caused as a result of moisturizer accumulation. By consulting with vet, a regular teeth brushing is also necessary. Like any other breeds, Bulldogs need to undergo through exercise schedules. Otherwise, they are at high risk for developing excessive weight, which may in turn lead to certain other complicated health problems, such as lung and heart disorders. Cleaning of their tail is also needed. <bio>Bobby Callahan is a vet and a passionate researcher, having in-depth knowledge and expertise in raising, breeding and caring of dogs. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bichon+frise" rel="tag">Bichon Frise</a> may be small in size, but he is sturdy and also white in color (in most cases) and it is a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/powder+puff" rel="tag">powder puff</a> of a dog. Its merry temperament is easy to see when you look into its <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/inquisitive+eyes" rel="tag">inquisitive eyes</a> and also observe the jaunty manner with which he carries his <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/plumed+tail" rel="tag">plumed tail</a>. What's more, the Bichon Frise standard does not reveal any great exaggerations or faults in the breed and thus you will normally find the Bichon Frise to be free from imbalances or unsound movements. <br /><br /> Though there are many deviations from the Bichon Frise standard, these are no more or no less than what is common among most breeds. Though if a fault is noticed in the Bichon Frise, it must be penalized to no more than the amount of deviation from the standard. In addition, as far as the height mentioned in the standard goes, you should not expect the Bichon Frise to be more than nine and a half inches to eleven and a half inches in either gender. <br /><br /> The Bichon Frise standard is very clear about the qualities that are desired in the breed with regard to general appearance, proportion and substance and which must be present in any Bichon Frise. Thus, the well-bred Bichon Frise should be larger by a quarter at the front-most point in his body as compared to the height at his withers, and the bone should be well contained without being too coarse or too fine. <br /><br /> The Bichon Frise standard is also clear about how the head should be shaped, as too the eyes, and lips, ears and skull as well as muzzle, stop, nose and bite. Also, there are certain <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/desirable+qualities" rel="tag">desirable qualities</a> that are set out by the Bichon Frise standard with regard to the neck and top line as well as the body. In addition, the forequarters as well as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hindquarters" rel="tag">hindquarters</a> must adhere to the standard and the Bichon Frise should also have the proper <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/coat+texture" rel="tag">coat texture</a> and color, the gait must also be free, and his temperament should be gentle, confident and also affectionate. <br /><br /> The Bichon Frise standard requires that the Bichon Frise must have shoulder blades and upper arms as well as forearms of equal length, and the bones in its legs must be straight while pasterns must show a bit of a slant. The coat must be dense as well as soft on the underside while on the outside it should be curly. Overall, the Bichon Frise must be of white color though it may also have dipping of cream, buff and even apricot. <br /><br /> In its movement, the Bichon Frise standard states that he should move freely as well as cautiously and without any effort, and when racing it should hold its head as well as neck in a straight manner. The personality of the Bichon Frise is gentle and it also has an even temper while also being very affectionate and thus has all the qualities that make for an ideal family dog. <bio>Mary Stevenson has spent years in breeding and taking care of small dogs and thus is well conversant with all that it takes to breed different dog types. There is a lot of useful <a href="http://www.bichonfriseguide.com/" >http://www.bichonfriseguide.com/</a> Bichon Frise information about the desirable qualities that this breed of dog should possess, and also what its common faults are and how they should be penalized. <content:encoded><![CDATA[The Shih-Tzu is a result of the breeding of the Tibetan <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lhasa+apso" rel="tag">Lhasa Apso</a> with the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pekinese" rel="tag">Pekinese</a> during the 17th century and Peking. However, England wouldn't see the first pair until the 1930s when they were allowed to be imported. Today, the spunky old dog is a popular pet as well as a show dog favorite. <br /><br /> Admitted to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/american+kennel+club" rel="tag">American Kennel Club</a> in 1969, the Shih-Tzu is part of the toy group. This breed weighs from 9 to 16 pounds and is around 11 inches tall <br /><br /> This breed is small and sturdy resembling the Lhasa Apso and having an abundant coat consisting of a woolly undercoat any long overcoat of hair. The hair above the nose grows upward which creates a unique shape, sometimes referred to as a chrysanthemum shape for the face. The Shih-Tzu has a mustache and beard along with a short hairy muzzle and black nose. The eyes are dark, large and round. The pendant shaped ears are covered with hair which causes them to blend right in to the rest of the dogs body. He has a plumed tale which he carries curled over his back. These dogs come in all colors, but <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/show+dogs" rel="tag">show dogs</a> must have white on the forehead as well as the tip of the tail. <br /><br /> The Shih-Tzu is a little dog with a lot of character. Sometimes they can seem a bit arrogant, but they do tend to make friends easily even when they are being obstinate. This alert and spunky breed is playful and affectionate but does not cope well if left on his own and needs to spend a lot of time with his family. They are usually pretty quiet when indoors, but have been known to be a bit stubborn and can bark when they want to. <br /><br /> Since Shih-Tzus have a short muzzle, they can wheeze and snore a bit and also can be prone to respiratory, ear and eye problems. In some Shih-Tzus which have short legs and long backs, spinal disc disease can be a problem. Like most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/small+dogs" rel="tag">small dogs</a>, they can be prone to tooth decay and need to have regular dental care. They can also gain weight easily and should not be overfed. <br /><br /> The Shih-Tzu can be active in doors and is well suited to apartment living. Of course, they do need to be exercised with the daily walk and they can have a tendency to become lazy if exercise is not part of their routine. <br /><br /> Daily grooming is a must with this long-haired breed which should be brushed with a bristle brush. It's also a good idea to put the hair up in a little ponytail to keep it out of the dogs eyes. You should make sure that the eyes are cleaned regularly and the ear passages as well. Even though this dog breed does have a lot of hair, it does not shed. <bio>Lee Dobbins writes for <a href="http://www.dogbreeds123.com" >http://www.dogbreeds123.com</a> where you can learn more about your favorite dog breeds and get tips on dog care. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[What are the best <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/poker+hands" rel="tag">poker hands</a>? That is the question that plagues every newbie <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/poker+player" rel="tag">poker player</a> when they have just started out. One cannot play poker if they do not know how to win, and that is why poker hands have rankings. When learning how to play, it is best to have someone teach the basics, including the best hands one can get. This is to prevent any player from embarassing himself or herself when each player reveals their hand at the end of the round.<br><br>There are many different hands that one can get when playing poker. Therefore, the answer to the question "What are the best poker hands?" can be answered by revealing the various hand rankings. The best poker hands are simply the highest ranked cards that one can get. Each hand is grouped in a certain category, and those categories are ranked from highest to lowest.<br><br>The Royal Flush is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/technical+answer" rel="tag">technical answer</a> when asked what are the best poker hands. It is the best possible hand that can be gotten in a standard five-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/card+poker+game" rel="tag">card poker game</a>. It consists of an Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10, and all of them must be of the same suit. The suit does not matter, for no suit is better than the other, but the chances of getting such a hand is extremely low, which is why it is considered the best.<br><br>The second best kind of poker hand is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/straight+flush" rel="tag">Straight Flush</a>. Any sequence of five cards that have the same suit is considered a Straight Flush. An example is 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, all of spades. If two or more people have a Straight Flush, then the person with the highest-numbered card will win. This applies to other poker hands as well.<br><br>Ranked below the Straight Flush is the Four of a Kind hand, meaning that one must have four cards with the same value, such as a 3, 3, 3, 3, and another card of any value. The Full House comes right after Four of a Kind, and has three cards with the same value, and two other cards which also have the same value. An example is a hand with 5, 5, 5 and 2, 2.<br><br>The Flush is the fifth best poker hand, and isn't as hard to get. To get a Flush, one needs five cards, all of which having the same suit. They don't have to be in sequence. The Straight comes after the Flush, and instead of all the cards having the same suit, it consists of the cards being in sequence. The Three of a Kind follows the Straight, and one needs to have three cards of the same value. For the Two Pair, two different pairs of cards with the same value are needed. If one only has one pair of cards, then it is simply called the Pair. Lastly, if one asks "What are the best poker hands?" then they might as well ask what the worst poker hands are as well. The answer to that is the High Card, which consists of random cards that are different in every way.<bio>Go to <a href="http://www.PokerOnlineSchool.com">www.PokerOnlineSchool.com</a> for a free e-course on how to dominate the competition in cash games and sit-n-go's using the <a href="http://www.PokerOnlineSchool.com">best poker hands</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/beagle" rel="tag">Beagle</a>, a fine <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/scent+hound" rel="tag">scent hound</a> used often in hunting is a dog that is full of energy and makes a great pet as he is eager to please his owner. Originating in England as a result of a cross between a harrier and other hounds, this dog is often used when hunting hairs, quails or pheasant. But even If you don't want to do any hunting, you still might consider beagle as a pet as this sweet and gentle dog makes a great family companion. <br /><br /> The Beagle has been a member of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/american+kennel+club" rel="tag">American kennel club</a> since the late 1800's and is part of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/akc" rel="tag">AKC</a> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hound+group" rel="tag">hound group</a>. This small sturdy dog weighs in at between 20 and 25 pounds and stands 13 to 16 inches tall. he has a sleek short coat that comes in any of the typical colors of a hound which include red and white, black and tan, lemon and white and orange and white. He has a broad slightly rounded skull with a square straight muzzle. The nose is black in the eyes are brown or hazel. The beagle has a pleading expression that makes many fall in love with him with one look.<br /><br /><br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/beagles" rel="tag">Beagles</a> are very sociable and need to have their family around them. In fact, if you will be gone for long stretches of time you might consider getting to beagles so they can keep each other company. these dogs are lively, sweet and curious and also very gentle. However, they can be determined and watchful so you will need to train them with a firm hand and have lots of patience. <br /><br /> Beagles are generally healthy however some of the things this breed may be prone to include epilepsy, heart disease, back problems and eye problems. Also some of them may be prone to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dwarfism" rel="tag">dwarfism</a> and warped front legs. <br /><br /> Although beagles are on the small side, they do like to be outdoors and would prefer a home that has a fenced in yard. They also need a lot of exercise so allowing them to play outside and taking them for long walks is a must. <br /><br /><br /><br />Grooming the Beagle is a snap since their shorts move coat makes it very easy. They are only an average shedder and will not clutter your house up with hair during the shedding season.<br /><br />just mush them once in a while with the firm bristle brush and give them a bath and mild soap as needed. They will need to have their nails trimmed regularly in the issue be checked consistently for any signs of infection. <br /><br /> With proper care, regular veterinary checks and good quality food your beagle can be a loving companion for anywhere between 12 and 15 years. <bio>Lee Dobbins writes for <a href="http://www.dogbreeds123.com" >http://www.dogbreeds123.com</a> where you can learn more about dog care and see photos of your favorite dog breeds. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

It is also known as the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/belgian+groenendael" rel="tag">Belgian Groenendael</a> (Grow-en-en-doll ) or Chien de Berger Belge. In some countries they are all considered one breed. The AKC recognizes three of the four breeds including the Belgian Groenendael. These four breeds are so closely related that, when they have a litter of puppies, some of the puppies will closely resemble one of the other three breeds more than its parents. <br /><br /> This medium to medium/large breed weighs between 55-75 pounds and is between 21" to 27" in height. They are a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/working+dog" rel="tag">working dog</a> and want a job to do. A <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bored" rel="tag">bored</a> Belgian Groenendael will find some way to fill its time and will make their own dog toys. That being said, it is best to ensure that they have plenty to fill their time. <br /><br /> The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/akc+recognized" rel="tag">AKC recognized</a> coat color for the Belgian Groenendael is black. They are permitted to have a very small patch of white on their muzzle, forechest and between feet pads. Their dense undercoat and long, straight, heavy outer coat needs daily grooming to prevent tangles and mats. They shed regularly but have a heavy shedding period twice a year. <br /><br /> Energetic and protective, the Belgian Groenendael is loyal to their family and makes an excellent watchdog. While two of the other Belgian Groenendaels are still used more as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/working+dogs" rel="tag">working dogs</a>, the Belgian Groenendael is seen as family pet and watchdog. They need plenty of time and room to roam and run, so they work best with active families that have a large yard or regular access to a park or farm. They need early socialization for other dogs, children and pets. Some Belgian Groenendaels have been known to be aggressive so you should talk to the breeder about aggression in their ancestry. They are fairly easy to train, but early training is recommended. <br /><br /> Originating in Belgium, the Belgian Groenendael was developed by a breeder in Groenendael, Belgium. They have been traditionally used as working dogs and have had such jobs as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/police+dog" rel="tag">police dog</a>, cattle and sheep herder and search and rescue and message delivery dogs during WW I and II. <br /><br /> Family friendly, loyal and affectionate, the Belgian Groenendael enjoys companionship for play and rest. They are definitely not for families who want a calm lap dog. But, if you want an intelligent, energetic dog that enjoys exercise and play, then the Belgian Groenendael will not disappoint you in any way, shape or form. <bio>Learn more about the Belgian Sheepdog at <a href="<a href="http://www.deardoggy.com/">http://www.deardoggy.com/</a>dog_breeds/belgian_sheepdog/"><a href="http://www.deardoggy.com/">http://www.deardoggy.com/</a>dog_breeds/belgian_sheepdog/</a> or to talk with other dog lovers visit us at <a href="http://www.deardoggy.com/">http://www.deardoggy.com/</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Holographic weapons sights have become increasingly popular with shooters, as they give the shooter the ability to quickly lock in on target, even if the shooter's head position is not aligned with the sight. <br /><br /> With a conventional <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/optical+scope" rel="tag">optical scope</a>, a shooter must have his eye aligned with the scope in order to place the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/reticle" rel="tag">reticle</a> over the target. If the shooter's head isn't perfectly aligned, the scope's reticle isn't pointing to the same spot on the target as the gun. <br /><br /> With a holographic ("holo") sight, the reticle is always on the spot on the target where the weapon is pointed. Move the gun left or right, and the reticle moves as well, but is still on the point of aim. <br /><br /> How is this possible? <br /><br /> Unlike the view you see through a conventional scope, what you are seeing through a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/holographic+sight" rel="tag">holographic sight</a> is not real. It's a reconstruction of the view. What's more, the reticle that you see is not actually in the sight, but is a projection of a reticle image. <br /><br /> Before you start scratching your head, think about watching a movie. The movie camera has recorded the the light reflected from the objects in a scene onto film. When the film is projected onto a movie screen, you see the scene that was originally recorded. <br /><br /> The process of holography involves reconstructing the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/light+waves" rel="tag">light waves</a> that are reflected from an object. What we commonly call "light" is a spectrum of waves. The holographic sight encodes the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wave+patterns" rel="tag">wave patterns</a> reflected from the view of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/target+area" rel="tag">target area</a>, and projects these wave patterns onto a clear window within the sight. The projected wave patterns are then illuminated by a laser, which reconstructs the wave patterns. The result is a three-dimensional image of the view of the target area. <br /><br /> Unlike a film, though, the holo sight is recording and then projecting the light waves in real time onto the clear window within the sight. As you move your sight up or down, or left or right, the sight is reconstructing the view instantly. <br /><br /> OK, you say, but how does the reticle move and stay on target? <br /><br /> The reticle is actually a laser beam that's being projected onto that same clear window within the sight. A reticle mask defines the shape of the reticle. The mask may be a dot, a triangle, a circle, or whatever other shape the manufacturer offers. <br /><br /> When the holographic sight is attached to the gun, the laser beam is projected along the same axis as the gun. Thus, when you move the muzzle of the gun to the left, the projected reticle image on the clear window moves to the left on the same axis. Up, down, left, right: the reticle image is always following the direction of the muzzle. <br /><br /> So, when you look through a holographic sight, you're actually seeing two things: the projected view of the target area, which changes as you move the sight; and the projected reticle, which moves along with the axis of the gun. The result of this combination is that, as long as you can see the view of the target area through the sight, and as long as you can see the reticle, you can get your gun on target. <br /><br /> The laser reticle is essentially performing the same function as a laser sight, except that the laser is projected onto the clear window, and not onto the target itself. This offers several advantages, one of which is that the laser beam is not visible to anyone but the shooter. Another advantage is that most holographic sights allow the user to vary the brightness level of the laser reticle, while the dots from laser sights may be hard to see on the target in bright sunlight. <br /><br /> With advances in technology, holographic sites have become more compact and more affordable, thus leading to their increased popularity with the shooting community. <bio>Richard A. <content:encoded><![CDATA[It is hard to find a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dog+breed" rel="tag">dog breed</a> that has a more conflicting temperament description than the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rottweiler" rel="tag">Rottweiler</a>. Known as a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gentle+giant" rel="tag">gentle giant</a> and loving family companion on one hand and as an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/attack+dog" rel="tag">attack dog</a> on the other, it is hard to decipher the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/true+nature" rel="tag">true nature</a> of the Rottweiler. The truth is, much of what a Rottweiler will become is due to ancestry and how they are raised. <br /><br /> This large breed weighs between 85-125 lbs and reaches a height 22" to 27". Their name is pronounced ROTT-why-ler. They are a powerful dog with protective <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/instincts" rel="tag">instincts</a> that will come out if they feel that their family, home or territory is being threatened, making them an excellent guard and watchdog. <br /><br /> Their <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/akc" rel="tag">AKC</a> acceptable coat coloring is black with mahogany to rust markings. They markings typically include dots above their eyes and markings on their legs, paws and muzzle. Their short, straight, hard, dense and coarse coat is easy to groom. They require an occasional brushing and only need a bath when necessary. <br /><br /> Extremely loyal and protective of its family and property, the Rottweiler is considered one of the best watchdogs. Early socialization is not just recommended, but is necessary for children, other dogs and pets. If any of these are introduced when a Rottweiler is older, they can become aggressive and territorial. They need to be trained from when they are a puppy to help curb dominance issues. This is important for them to recognize you as the master instead of the other way around. They need regular exercise and play and need plenty of outside time. They should not be locked inside all day. When outside they need to be in a well secured yard and they should always be walked on a leash. This is imperative due to their territorial instincts. They are extremely wary of strangers. Rottweilers need firm, consistent training but should never be treated in a harsh or abusive nature. Extreme rough housing feeds into their aggressive tendencies where as a home that is calm, loving and gentle with their Rottweiler will feed into their gentle side. <br /><br /> The Rottweiler originated in Germany. They get their name from Rottweil in Wurttemburg which is where they were originally bred. They are descendents of the Italian Mastiffs. The Rottweiler was mainly used as a watchdog, guard dog and police dog. They faced extinction towards the end of the 19th century but were brought back due to the efforts of extensive breeding programs. <br /><br /> Large, powerful and protective, the Rottweiler was born to be a guard dog. Research needs to be done on their ancestry before bringing them into your home to ensure that there is not a history of aggression. This research is especially important if you are bringing them into a home with other pets or small children to make sure that your home is right for this particular breed. <bio>Learn more about the Rottweiler at <a href="<a href="http://www.deardoggy.com/">http://www.deardoggy.com/</a>dog_breeds/rottweiler/"><a href="http://www.deardoggy.com/">http://www.deardoggy.com/</a>dog_breeds/rottweiler/</a> or to talk with other dog lovers visit us at <a href="http://www.deardoggy.com/">http://www.deardoggy.com/</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Winning every little challenge in life is already such a great feat for any individual. It heats up that dying hope that tomorrow will be a better day for him. But what if your winning is blessed with money? For example is winning that Ohio Pick 4 game? You may be taking that next great beach vacation out of town. <br><br>But, aside from the rewards of money, playing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/number+games" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/number+game" rel="tag">number game</a>s</a> or the lottery can be a very entertaining activity or hobby amidst the stress of daily life. It brings fun and excitement as you wait for your supposed-to-be <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lucky+numbers" rel="tag">lucky numbers</a> match the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/winning+numbers" rel="tag">winning numbers</a>. So, if you have not tried any number game, why not go for an Ohio Pick 4 game and get the chance to win?<br><br>Ohio Pick 4 game offers three kinds of bets that you can place - the Straight bet, the Boxed bet, and the Back-Up bets. The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/straight+bets" rel="tag">Straight bets</a> happen when the numbers you have chosen are drawn in exact order to win. Amounts of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wager" rel="tag">wager</a> vary from $.50 to $6. The Boxed bets happen when the numbers you have chosen are drawn in any combination to win. Same amounts of wager with Straight bets. The Back-Up bets make a combination of a Straight bet and Boxed bet in a single ticket, but should be place in $1 wager. So, what happens in a Back-up bet is that you have the chance to win the Straight bet and the Boxed bet if your straight bet gets to win. But you get to win only the Boxed bet if a combination of your numbers comes out and your numbers fail to come out straight. <br><br>By the way, Ohio Pick 4 still offers four kinds of Boxed bets:<br><br>• 24-Way Boxed Bet. This bet is consisting of four <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/different+numbers" rel="tag">different numbers</a> like 1,2,3,4 that has 24 various possible winning matches. Giving you 24 ways in winning, it also gives the lowest payout. This is considered the easiest box.<br><br>• 12-Way Boxed Bet. This bet has two same numbers like 1,2,2,3 and<br>• 6-Way Boxed Bet. This bet has two sets with the same numbers like 1,2,1,2.<br>• 4-Way Boxed Bet. This bet has three same numbers like 1,3,3,3. This has the highest payout since it only has 4 possible combinations. This is also probably the least box bet to take a win. <br><br>Like Pick 3 game, Ohio Pick 4 is held on a daily basis that is seven days a week every 12:29 p.m. and 7:29 p.m. It is also broadcasted in all states. Odds and Payouts for the game vary depending on your bets and the choice of your box. <br><br>Ohio Pick 4 is really fun game. You can choose the numbers and pick your favorite numbers so you can match them out. You may loose at first. Then, win the next jackpot. Or go back to losing the game again. But that is what games are all about after all. I wish you the best of luck in winning the ohio pick 4. It is definately the most profitable game of all lottery games out there!<bio>Chris Malcolm created a proven system that explains <a target="_new" href="http://www.pick4winning.com">Ohio Pick 4</a> strategy. <content:encoded><![CDATA[When attending a show it is important that your horse look its best. Adding a few finishing touches can make all the difference between a nice looking horse, and an animal that wins the class.<br><br>Let's start by assuming that your horse has been thoroughly bathed before the show. Braiding has been arranged, and your tack is clean are ready for use.<br><br>To get the best shine on your horse, you will want to give him a thorough grooming. While bathing is great for getting out the dirt, the coat can often use some extra help to keep its shine. While your horse is still damp, take a large <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/saddle+pad" rel="tag">saddle pad</a> and place it over its back. Then spray a light coating of show sheen over the coat where you will not be placing tack. Never spray under the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/saddle+area" rel="tag">saddle area</a>, or where you need tack to stay snug.<br><br>While show sheen may seem a quick fix, it has many properties that make it very useful. It will increase the shine in your horse's coat, but more importantly, it will help repel dust.<br><br>Be sure not to show sheen the mane if you plan on having it braided, and not to show sheen above the end of the dock on the tail. Show sheen is very slippery and will make braiding next to impossible.<br><br>If your horse has white <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hooves" rel="tag">hooves</a>, or if the hooves are rough or uneven, try taking some mid-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/grade+sandpaper" rel="tag">grade sandpaper</a> and lightly sanding the hooves. You can find sandpaper on <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hard+foam" rel="tag">hard foam</a> blocks that are easier to handle than plain paper. While sanding the hooves may sound a bit odd, as long as you don't do it too often and only use it to smooth the surface layer and remove stains, it will not hurt your horse.<br><br>When finished, apply a layer of clear hoof polish to the hooves to keep them shiny. Black hoof polish can look nice on a horse with no white and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/black+legs" rel="tag">black legs</a>, but looks silly on horses with brown legs or socks. Stick to clear polish on those horses. Some people prefer to use oil when the horse goes in the ring, but this tends to be sticky and the dirt quickly dulls the hoof.<br><br>If you use hoof polish, be sure to apply a moisturizer to the hoof after the show. The polish can dry the hoof out. If you show a lot, you might want to avoid using polish at every show, reserving it for the bigger events.<br><br>For horses with white socks and stockings, it can be next to impossible to get them clean. A quick trick is to buy corn starch and rub it into the whites before the show. The corn starch will make the whites glow, and any excess will quickly be shaken off as the horse takes a few steps. Be sure that any polish is fully dry before adding corn starch, or it will stick.<br><br>Clipping off the whiskers on the muzzle really tidies the face. Nothing makes a horse look like a nag more quickly than a shaggy muzzle. You can use scissors to trim the hair around the ears too, but avoid clipping them out if you can, as the hair inside the ears is important for protection against flies.<br><br>If you like the sleek, shiny look on the face, try using Brilcream instead of baby oil. This wonderful men's hair product creates a natural shine that sets off your horse without making him look oily. It only takes a little bit to add polish to your horse's face.<br><br>Finally, if your horse has scars that shine, or otherwise look unpleasant, try using a bit of shoe polish to cover them up. This will blend them in, while still looking natural.<bio>Lydia K Kelly is a writer for HorseClicks, classifieds of <a href="http://www.horseclicks.com/horses/maine-me/">horses for sale Maine</a>, <a href="http://www.horseclicks.com/horses/maryland-md/">horses for sale Maryland</a>, <a href="http://www.horseclicks.com/horses/massachusetts-ma/">horses for sale Massachusetts</a> and other states. Its tightly curled coat was developed to capture shedding hair, making the dog a very clean house companion. <br /><br /> The British <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/poodle+club" rel="tag">Poodle club</a> was established in 1886. The Poodles were seen in America soon thereafter. In the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/american+kennel+club" rel="tag">American Kennel Club</a> standards for the Poodle there are three varieties listed. The Toy Poodle's height is stated to be less than 10 inches tall at the shoulder. <br /><br /> The Toy Poodle has emerged as one of the finest companions available. Normal-sized <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/toy+poodles" rel="tag">Toy Poodles</a> are robust <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/little+dogs" rel="tag">little dogs</a> that make excellent pets for older children and adults of all ages. The Toy Poodle is probably not recommended for a household with toddlers or as a toddler's pet. <br /><br /> Personality <br /><br /> The Toy Poodle is said to be "super intelligent," playful and active. The Toy Poodle is sensitive and bonds quickly to its family and may be reserved toward strangers until properly introduced. The Toy Poodle responds well to handlers and is sociable with other dogs and small <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/household+pets" rel="tag">household pets</a>. Toy Poodles are often "barkers," but with appropriate training the barkers can be curtailed. The Toy Poodle is loyal and affectionate. Because of the Toy Poodle's inherited scenting abilities he succeeds very well at hide-and-seek games and retrieving. One of the best uses of a Toy Poodle is as a therapy dog. They are quite sociable. <br /><br /> Appearance <br /><br /> The Toy Poodle stands less than 10 inches tall and weighs about 8 to 10 pounds. They have a long, straight muzzle and bright, dark eyes. Pigmentation of eyelids, lip margins and nose rubber are either black or dark in color, depending on the coat color. The back is short. The body is muscular and athletic. The legs are straight. Colors are all solids in shades of blue, gray, silver, brown, café au lait, apricot and cream. <br /><br /> Exercise Requirements <br /><br /> The Toy Poodle is capable of providing its own exercise provided it has a backyard to play in. The Toy Poodle needs people contact to balance and enjoy life. They do not do well all alone for long periods of time. They enjoy playing toss the ball, tug of war games and because of the inherited scenting abilities they also enjoy hide-in-seek games. <br /><br /> Grooming <br /><br /> A Toy Poodle's coat should be trimmed and shaped every five or six weeks by an experienced groomer if you want it to look like a traditional poodle. At home, the Toy Poodle requires brushing and combing every few days to prevent matting and knotting of the coat. Many Toy Poodle owners like keeping their Toy Poodles in a puppy or sporting pattern, which is done by clipping the dog's coat to the same length all over its body, then shaving the face a little shorter and trimming the topknot, tail and ear hair with the scissors. This is probably most practical for the pet Toy Poodle everyday appearance if you have no interest in dog shows. <bio>Author: Connie Limon. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ One of the best basic rules of Texas Hold'em No <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/limit+poker" rel="tag">Limit poker</a> you can learn is the principle of location. Essentially, he who acts last profits from the most amount of information. Information, you will find, is critical to your decision making in Texas Hold'em No Limit poker. As such it is advantageous indeed to be 'on the button' as they say, or to have the dealer button positioned on you as this means you are the last to act. <br /><br /> This rule applies whether you are playing Texas Hold'em No Limit poker live or online at one of the many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/online+poker" rel="tag">online poker</a> rooms available on the internet. <br /><br /> Oftentimes, examples are the best way to illustrate the prinicple of location in Texas Hold'em No Limit poker. <br /><br /> Here are just 3 of the best available examples we can provide to consider the benefits of location in Texas Hold'em No Limit poker: <br /><br /> a. there are say, 3 players in the hand and the board comes J-10-3 rainbow. You are on the button and everyone checks to you. If your hole cards are 10-Ace this may be a suitable time to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bet" rel="tag">bet</a> knowing that neither player looks to have an J pair, and you may well have the best hand amongst all the players at the moment. <br /><br /> b. in the same situation as a., if you have K-Q and are one card short of a straight, you can call any raises down to see if you hit a straight by the time you get to the river. Compare this to acting first - you may choose not to bet out any chips (representing you have a pair from the board) as someone may re-raise you, costing you more chips to see if you will hit a straight. Because you always act first, are unkeen to raise yet call his raises, it may become apparent to your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/opponent" rel="tag">opponent</a> that you are waiting for the straight. Knowing this, your opponent can then bet against you on the flop, turn and the river, and, if he thinks you are drawing for your straight, put in all his chips to chase you off the round. <br /><br /> c. in the same situation as b., if you get to the river and still have not hit a straight, if your opponent(s) have never bet all the way to the turn or the river, neither your opponents may have hit any cards. You may want to bet, suggesting you have a pair or better, getting everybody to fold and thus winning the pot with nothing but a King-high. <br /><br /> These are just 3 examples to illustrate the value of position in Texas Hold'em No Limit poker. Whether you are a live or online poker player, these are one of the best poker principles you can learn in playing the game. The later you act the more information you have, and information, you will find, is one of the most important aspects of Texas Hold'em No Limit poker. <bio>AKSuited covers <a href="http://www.royalflushasia.com/pokermagazine.html" >http://www.royalflushasia.com/pokermagazine.html</a>, the <a href="http://www.royalflushasia.com/onlinepoker.html" >http://www.royalflushasia.com/onlinepoker.html</a>, and <a href="http://www.royalflushasia.com/pokerchips.html" >http://www.royalflushasia.com/pokerchips.html</a> in Asia. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

This allows you to become more at ease with the shot. It helps you to make the shot more second nature.<br><br>Make sure that when you are practicing that you have a way to do your shot. You may warm up and stretch and then do some dribbling and then jump shots, for example. Do your routine the same every practice.<br><br>Do Specific Exercises<br><br>For jump shots you have to really develop your skills at jumping and balance.<br><br>You should do <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jump+roping" rel="tag">jump roping</a>, jumping jacks and other moves that allow you to get practice jumping so you can gain height. You want to get the most height possible on your jumps.<br><br>Know the Key Move<br><br>A good jump shot will only happen when you can jump straight in the air. To practice this technique you need to practice jumping up and down in a straight line.<br><br>You can mark the ground with a circle. When you jump up and down you should make sure you land in the same spot each time. You should practice <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jumping+exercises" rel="tag">jumping exercises</a> until you master them and still keep on practicing the moves so you stay good at them.<br><br>This is the key move to mastering the jump shot. A <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/straight+jump" rel="tag">straight jump</a> equals a straight shot. It allows you to really be accurate in your jump shot. Without the straight jump your shot is going to be off. Once you are in the air there is nothing you can really do to turn the shot right.<br><br>As you can see a lot of the focus is on jumping. That is because a lot of a jump shot is the jump. Every other shot you make is similar to the jump shot, but none is focused so much on air height. You have to take that seriously in order to have a distinguished and effective jump shot.<br><br>When you are practicing and working with your jump shot you have to remain focused and be willing to work hard. Jump shots do not come naturally to most people. They involve a lot of work and effort on your part. It is essential that you are serious about getting the height on your jumps and sinking a straight shot. Only then can you truly master the jump shot.<bio>Find great <a href="http://www.hardcourthoopla.com">systems for shooting</a> hoops on this cool online store. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Getting to know your dog starts by getting to know its breed, and that includes getting a better idea about its appearance, personality, and health requirements. Here's what you need to know about the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pugs" rel="tag">Pugs</a>: <br /><br /> The wrinkly face of the Pug is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/simply+undeniable" rel="tag">simply undeniable</a>. This smaller dog was at one time the companion of Chinese Emperors during the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shang+dynasty" rel="tag">Shang Dynasty</a>. However, at that time, the Pug was called "Foo" or "Lo-Chiang-Sze." Today, you can find Foo figurines, which have the same bulging eyes as that of the Pug. Soon, this breed became highly popular in Tibet, being a prized pet of monks. From there, the breed wove its way into Japan, followed by Europe. <br /><br /> Then by the late 16th century and early 17th century, the Pug was imported from the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dutch+east+indies" rel="tag">Dutch East Indies</a> Trading Company. In fact, when William III and Mary II ascended the throne in 1688 after leaving the Netherlands, the Pug actually was chosen as the House of Orange's official breed. Eventually, various European countries were flooded with the Pug and by the time they reached Spain, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/goya" rel="tag">Goya</a> began painting them. <br /><br /> In the 18th and 19th centuries, popularity levels continued to rise. Interestingly, Josephine, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/napoleon+bonaparte" rel="tag">Napoleon Bonaparte</a> future wife, used her <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pet+pug" rel="tag">pet Pug</a> as a means of sending covert messages to her family while she was being held in the Les Carmes Prison. Over the years, the Pug's popularity kept growing throughout Europe, eventually making its way to the United States. Currently, the Pug is still just as popular as it was, even more so. This dog is cuddly with a massive personality. Because of its size and positive traits, the Pug makes an excellent family pet. <br /><br /> Physical Appearance <br /><br /> Early Pugs in the 18th century were a longer and leaner version of today's breed. What we see now is a more compact body with a deep chest and defined muscles. The Pug's head is round and the eyes large and dark. However, the Pug's face wrinkles are what make it so distinct and adorable. The tail of the Pug is also cut, being tightly curled that falls back over the hip. In fact, for show purposes, a double curl of the tail is deemed perfection. The coat is short and glossy with a number of color options to include: <br /><br /> Silver Black Fawn Apricot <br /><br /> Temperament and Personality <br /><br /> If you are looking for a sociable dog, the Pug is ideal. However, you need to keep in mind that this breed can also be stubborn. The breed is great with children and other animals. Playful, clever, and overall charming are just a few descriptive words to describe the Pug. The only slight personality flaw is that this breed can be jealous when ignored. <br /><br /> Health <br /><br /> Pugs are generally healthy dogs but with a short muzzle and not having any skeletal brow ridges, some issues can arise specific to breathing. The short muzzle can also make extreme hot or cold temperatures difficult to handle. Therefore, the Pug needs to be kept indoors with moderate temperature settings. In addition, because of the protruding eyes of the Pug, scratching of the cornea is another possible problem. It is also important to keep this dog breed on a healthy and monitored diet, as well as a good exercise plan in that obesity can occur. <br /><br /> Other potential health risks associated with the Pug includes inflammation of the brain, which is known as Granulomatous Meningoencephalitis. Experts now believe this disease to be inherited although it is not 100 percent certain. Unfortunately, if a Pug were determined to have this problem, it would die naturally or need to be humanely euthanized. Keep in mind that with good care, this adorable breed can live anywhere from 12 to 15 years. <bio>Daniel Stevens is the renowned dog trainer and author of SitStayFetch, a leading dog training guide having sold over 21,000 copies. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Some may find the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/game+of+poker" rel="tag">game of poker</a> confusing, assuming that the game has far too many rules and conditions to understand. In truth, one simply gets baffled by the hand rankings of poker. In order to be truly familiar with the game, one must know about what beats what in poker. <br><br> When determining what beats what in poker, one must first look at the individual cards, for doing so will help evaluate the hand value properly. First of all, individual cards are ranked from highest to lowest, starting with Ace, King, Queen, and descending towards two. Ace can also be low if it is part of the straight Ace, 2, 3, 4 and 5. Another general rule is that suits do not have any value: a club hand of 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 is no <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/better+than+a+diamond" rel="tag">better than a diamond</a> hand with the exact same numbers. Players who end up with similar hands such as those end up splitting the pot. Lastly, a hand always consists of five cards.<br><br> What beats what in poker? In order to win a game, one must have a hand that beats all other hands, and that is why there are such things as card rankings. Hand variations have been given names such as straight flush, royal flush and other terms. However, the higher-ranking hands are much harder to get, because the probability of getting them is low.<br><br> The highest ranking standard <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/poker+hand" rel="tag">poker hand</a> is the royal flush, which is an ace-high straight flush. The combination of the Ace, King, Queen, Jack and 10 is an example. Directly below that is the straight flush, which consists of five cards in sequence. All must be of the same suit, and if two or more players have straight flushes, then the hands are compared using their highest card. For anyone wanting to know what beats what in poker, they now have knowledge of the highest ranked hands.<br><br> A four of a kind, also known as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/quads" rel="tag">quads</a>, contains four cards of one rank (meaning four cards with the same number) and another card. It is better than a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/full+house" rel="tag">full house</a>, but has less value than a straight flush. The next best hand is the full house, which consists of three matching cards of one rank, and two matching cards of another rank. For players who each have a full house, the highest ranking set of three (or the three cards with the highest number) will win.<br><br> A flush comes after that, and it contains five cards that are not in rank sequence but have the same suit. The highest ranking card is the basis for comparison if each player has a flush. Ranked below the flush is the straight, which consists of five cards in rank sequence but now having the same suit. It defeats the three of a kind poker hand, which is similar to the full house. The only difference is that the other two cards do not have the same numbers. The two pair, on the other hand, has two different pairs of cards with the same number, and one other card. The lesser ranked one pair has only one, while the high card is the lowest-ranked hand, consisting of no pairs, no sequence and no similar suits. The high card is a poker hand that is beaten by all other hands.<bio>Ready to go from being an average online poker player to being pro? You can get a fold up walking stick for your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/purse" rel="tag">purse</a>. A lot of these are given to people who have disabilities and might only need a stick sometimes. These are usually made of metal can fit in a cars glove, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/briefcase" rel="tag">briefcase</a>, or a purse. <br /><br /> Another type of walking stick is what a lot of people have when hiking, a piece of wood that they found on the trail. If you decide to make a walking stick while on the trail there are some important things to look for in the stick. <br /><br /> First, find a stick that is completely straight. Any bit of curve can throw off your balance and handling while walking. After you find a good straight stick make sure it is strong enough to support your weight and that it fits comfortably in your hand. After this is done make sure it is long enough to fit you but not become <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cumbersome" rel="tag">cumbersome</a>. If you need to break off lengths of it until it is a good height. <br /><br /> Another type of walking stick is your standard wood or metal straight stick. A lot of people who use these have ankle and foot problems or will constantly need help in walking. These are usually made to fit a persons needs and will last a long time if taken care of. <br /><br /> Whatever your needs are with walking sticks always remember that once you have it you will have to carry it around. Sometimes walking sticks can be more hassle then they are worth because you will have to continue to carry it when you don't really need it. <bio>Visit <a href="http://www.walking-stick.net/" >http://www.walking-stick.net/</a> for great walking sticks! </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ There are many systems available for the Roulette Bettor. I will write about a few of them - but with this warning: Few games in the Casino have worse odds than Roulette. Played for a long period of time, Roulette will break you. However, it can be a successful betting opportunity if you keep it to a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/short+period" rel="tag">short period</a> of time. <br /><br /> That being said, this system is hot. You could argue that you'll have nearly one-third of the wheel covered with only 5 units bet. <br /><br /> The system calls for bets on 10 numbers. These numbers are spread evenly throughout the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/roulette+wheel" rel="tag">Roulette wheel</a>, and use just 5 chips. The idea behind this system is that all parts of the wheel are covered. It doesn't matter what part of the wheel hits. We have <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/10+chances" rel="tag">10 chances</a> in 37 (or 38 in the case of an American (00) wheel) of getting a hit. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/place+your+bets" rel="tag">Place your bets</a> as follows: <br /><br /> =95 1 chip on the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sixline" rel="tag">sixline</a> 31 - 36 (which covers all of the numbers 31 to 36 inclusive, and pays 5 - 1) <br /><br /> =95 1 chip straight up on each of numbers 5,8,21,29 (European Single Zero wheel which pays 35 - 1) <br /><br /> OR <br /><br /> =95 1 chip straight up on each of numbers 11,12,27,28 (American 00 wheel, also pays 35 - 1) <br /><br /> By placing your bets this way, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/maximum+number" rel="tag">maximum number</a> of spaces between the numbers covered is 3, and the minimum number of spaces between the numbers covered is 2 (for both the single zero wheel and the double <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/zero+wheels" rel="tag">zero wheels</a>). <br /><br /> To see what I mean, you can look at a roulette wheel and look at the numbers covered: <br /><br /> (5,8,21,29,31,32,33,34,35,36 for a European single zero wheel <br /><br /> OR <br /><br /> 11,12,27,28,31,32,33,34,35,36 for an American double zero wheel). <br /><br /> If one of the straight up numbers wins, you get a profit of 31 units (35 - 4). If one of the numbers in the sixline wins, you will get a profit of 4 units (5 - 1). If none of your numbers win you will lose 5 units. The size of your units should be whatever you are comfortable with. Start small and work up to higher value units from your winnings. <br /><br /> If a sixline number wins, add a unit won to the next bet on the sixline making a two unit bet on the sixline in the next spin and one unit on each of the 4 straight up numbers. <br /><br /> After a win on one of the four straight up bets, add an extra unit to each of the bets in the next spin (including the sixline bet), making a total bet of 10 units after a straight up win. <br /><br /> Keep adding one unit to all of the bets after a straight up win, and only add one unit to the sixline bet after a win on the sixline bet. <br /><br /> Drop back to a single unit bet on each of the 5 bets after any loss. <br /><br /> Betting this way, you take advantage of winning streaks and you drop back to a minimum bet on losing streaks. <br /><br /> If you get a good winning streak you will make a killing. <br /><br /> Keep betting at the same table while you are on a winning streak. Change tables when you start losing, or quit for the day. <br /><br /> You should have a stop loss point. That is, you should stop betting on a table (or even quit for the day) and cash in your chips once your losses get past a predetermined stop loss point. Decide on your stop loss point before you start playing. <bio>Buzz has been teaching gambling for years, and collecting gambling resources all the while. He has them all together into one website. <content:encoded><![CDATA[More and more people are getting hooked on poker, especially these days when there are a number of poker websites offering <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/free+tutorials" rel="tag">free tutorials</a> and games. Like any other gambling activity, poker is one game that promises excitement and thrills. If you're new at poker, it's best to learn about its rules, specifically <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/poker+hands" rel="tag">poker hands</a> order, which you need to master in order to make winning combinations.<br><br>Poker, a type of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/card+game" rel="tag">card game</a>, requires players to bet on the value of the hand, which is the card combination in their possession, by placing a certain amount of money into the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/central+pot" rel="tag">central pot</a>. The one who has the highest hand or remains in the hand after all the other players have folded is the winner. The combination is determined by the established poker hands order or hand rankings hierarchy. <br><br>The best possible high hands come in this poker hands order: royal flush, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/straight+flush" rel="tag">straight flush</a>, four of a kind, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/full+house" rel="tag">full house</a>, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, one pair, and any hand not yet mentioned but wins in view of the possessor's bluffing prowess that makes all the other players fold. <br><br>A royal flush combination is composed of a straight from a ten to an ace which should be five cards of the same suit. In poker, suit does not really matter so that when there are equally <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/strong+hands" rel="tag">strong hands</a>, the pots are split. <br><br>A straight flush is any straight, meaning consecutive cards, with all five cards of the same suit. <br>A four of a kind consists of four cards of the same rank. If there are two players who have the same four of a kind, a fifth card will be dealt to each, and the one with the bigger card wins the pot. <br><br>A full house is composed of three cards of the same rank plus two cards of the same rank. <br><br>After the full house, the flush is the highest hand in the poker hands order. A flush consists of five cards, which are not consecutive, of the same suit; remember that five consecutive cards of the same suit make up a straight flush. If there are two or more players with flushes, the highest card in each of their hands determines the rank of the flush and the winner.<br><br>A straight consists of five consecutive cards that are of different suits. The ace card can function as a low card or a high card, depending on how it can better serve the player.<br><br>A three of a kind consists of three cards of the same rank. The best possible combination of a three of a kind is three aces plus a king and a queen.<br><br>Two pair is composed of two cards of the same rank plus two other cards of the same rank. The best possible combination of a two pair is a pair of aces plus a pair of kings. In this example, the aces define the rank of the two pair versus other two pair combinations of other players.<br><br>One pair is basically five cards that contain a pair of the same rank.<br><br>Now you know the poker hands order.
