<content:encoded><![CDATA[You can't get great abs just by exercising your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+muscles" rel="tag">stomach muscles</a>. There is a lot of misinformation about what you need to do to get that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/flat+stomach" rel="tag">flat stomach</a> that you want. First, you have to know what it takes to get the results you want. You also need to know why you might be more likely to collect those rolls of flab around your belly than your friends are. Once you understand these things, you can choose and use a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+exercise" rel="tag">stomach exercise</a> that will really work for you. <br /><br /> There are several benefits associated with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+exercises" rel="tag">stomach exercises</a> beyond getting a flat belly or a six-pack of abs. For example, doing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/regular+stomach" rel="tag">regular stomach</a> exercises helps your body to attain a better posture because your muscles will be stronger. Also, you'll probably notice that your lower back will be more flexible, and your digestion will improve through regular stomach exercise as well. <br /><br /> By performing a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/regular+exercise+routine" rel="tag">regular exercise routine</a>, you'll enjoy life more because you'll be more active and able to participate. Your body will feel better, and your mental abilities will also be stimulated, and your thinking abilities will improve. You need to be dedicated to a regular exercise routine to get these benefits, however. If you're trying to lose weight, for example, you won't see any improvement if you don't take the time to tone up your stomach muscles. <br /><br /> It's important to stay motivated. Don't get discouraged. It takes time and patience to firm up a flabby belly. And consider that there might be other factors that impact your efforts. If you're a woman in menopause, your body will collect fat along your waistline due to the lack of estrogen. Even with regular stomach exercise, it will be a struggle to rid yourself of this fat. Your specific genetic makeup also has an influence on your ability to have a flat stomach. If you are under a lot of stress, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hormone+cortisol" rel="tag">hormone cortisol</a> makes your body produce more sugar, and it makes you eat more too. Additionally, diseases such as diabetes can cause weight gain, and doing stomach exercises alone won't get rid of the fat around your mid-section. <br /><br /> If you're starting an exercise routine to decrease your excess fat, it's important to focus on the lower abs first because this area is the most difficult to strengthen and tone. The upper abs will tone and tighten naturally as the lower abs become stronger. You should also recognize that your weight didn't increase overnight. You can lose excess weight and fat, but only if you perform stomach exercises as part of a total lifestyle change. <br /><br /> Go ahead and take the challenge! Try for the body you've always wanted. You'll feel good about yourself for making the effort. <bio>Discover more articles about fitness and exercise by visiting <a href="http://www.speediefitness.com" >http://www.speediefitness.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Pilates has got to be the perfect exercise for Moms. It requires no equipment. It can be done by people at all fitness levels, even the newly postpartum Mom. It isn't loud and can be learned quickly. And, 10 minutes a day can get you a longer, leaner body, soothe an aching back, tighten flabby Mommy abs, and help you de-stress! <br /><br /> Interestingly, George Pilates said that his <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/exercise+routine" rel="tag">exercise routine</a> could produce results in only 10 minutes a day. Every Mom can find that much time! Here are 3 easy moves that you can do first thing in the morning or last thing at night when the kids are in bed. <br /><br /> Rolling Like a Ball <br /><br /> This move is just too much fun. But it also strengthens the abs and helps circulation to your spine. To do it, sit on the floor and hug your knees. Balance with your feet a few inches off the floor. Round your back so you look like a ball. Pull in your stomach and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pelvic+floor+muscles" rel="tag">pelvic floor muscles</a>, inhale and roll back to your shoulders, then exhale and come back up. <br /><br /> This is a challenging move at first. Do it 8 times. <br /><br /> Curl <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ups" rel="tag">Ups</a> <br /><br /> Lie on your back and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bend+your+knees" rel="tag">bend your knees</a>, keeping your feet on the floor. Put one hand behind your head and rest the other on your abs. Exhale, pull in your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+muscles" rel="tag">stomach muscles</a> almost as tight as you can, then slowly bring your head up (not the shoulders). Keep your belly and pelvic floor muscles pulled in. Keep your neck tall. Then relax. Repeat 10 times. <br /><br /> The Arrow <br /><br /> This move strengthens the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/back+muscles" rel="tag">back muscles</a> and abs and just plain feels great. Lie on your stomach and est your arms by your sides. Inhale and pull in your tummy and pelvic floor muscles almost as tight as you can. Then lift your shoulders and feet off the floor a few inches. Keep your neck long and your belly pulled in. Hold for a second then release. Do this 6 times. <br /><br /> Pilates is deceptive because although it doesn't look like you're doing much, it really works the muscles. <br /><br /> Try these moves and experience the many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/benefits+of+pilates" rel="tag">benefits of Pilates</a>. <bio>For more tips to help you stay healthy naturally, visit <a href="http://www.NaturalMomsHealth.com" >http://www.NaturalMomsHealth.com</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[If you suffer from <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bladder+control+problems" rel="tag">bladder control problems</a> there are many options you can choose that can help you with your condition. One of the healthiest ways to restore function to your bladder is through <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kegal+exercises" rel="tag">Kegal exercises</a> which are exercises that strengthen your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pelvic+floor+muscles" rel="tag">pelvic floor muscles</a>. These are the muscles that support your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vagina" rel="tag">vagina</a>, urethra, and bladder which is where your body stores urine. The body then sends the urine out of your body through the urethra. <br /><br /> It has been proven that strengthening your pelvic floor muscles will lower the possibility and even help prevent <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stress+incontinence" rel="tag">stress incontinence</a>. To define incontinence it is the frequent or severe leaking of urine from the bladder. Sometimes this leaking can be caused by laughing, sneezing, coughing, or physical activity and is still referred to as incontinence. <br /><br /> Bladder muscles are commonly weakened by frequent heavy lifting over time, the loss of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/female+hormone+estrogen" rel="tag">female hormone estrogen</a> after <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/menopause" rel="tag">menopause</a>, being extremely obese and recurrent urinary tract infections. <br /><br /> You can begin by starting and stopping the flow of urine while you are urinating. Doing this will help you use the muscles and familiarize you with them. When you aren't urinating you can tighten the muscles and hold it for five to ten seconds about twenty times while increasing the repetitions gradually over time. Make sure you relax the muscles for equal amounts of time. <br /><br /> The great thing about Kegal exercises is that they are so convenient and easy to do that you can literally perform them anywhere, anytime. It is impossible for anyone to see that you are doing them, and the fast results will be encouraging. Even when you have achieved the level of control you were looking for you should still perform the exercises regularly to keep the muscles strong. <br /><br /> You should check your personal technique in the mirror every now and then to make sure that you aren't using your stomach or buttock muscles by placing your hand on your stomach or buttocks as you tighten. If you are doing the exercise correctly you shouldn't feel your stomach or buttocks tighten. You should see results within three or four weeks. <br /><br /> The women who are over the age of fifty and are experiencing bladder control problems can talk to their doctors about using an estrogen cream. An estrogen cream combined with Kegal exercised will greatly improve the strengthening of the muscles that are around the bladder and vagina. <br /><br /> If Kegal exercises alone aren't effective you can combine them with other treatments such as medications that can help strengthen the bladder muscles as well as lower the urge to urinate. <bio>Article provided by Sven Ullmann, who runs <a href="http://www.deservedhealth.com" >http://www.deservedhealth.com</a> - a site dedicated to different health related topics. <content:encoded><![CDATA[It can happen to you today, over a year or somewhere in the next 10 years but to most of us it will happen at least ones in our lives. We are talking about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lower+back+pain" rel="tag">lower back pain</a> in this article and when you are one of many who already have experienced it one time ore even more times, you know you will do anything to prevent it from happening again. You can divide lower back pain in two types, there is the acute form that will usually last for a few days to a few weeks and there is the chronic lower back pain and this can last months and in some cases even years. The intensity can vary from day to day, with some days the pain can be bearable and some days where the pain is excruciating.<br><br><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lower+back+pain+exercises" rel="tag">Lower back pain exercises</a> can help you in three ways:<br><br>- prevent acute lower back pain from returning<br><br>- prevent acute lower back pain from become chronic<br><br>- reduce chronic lower back pain<br><br>When you want to do some exercises for prevention there are some things you should know first, acute lower back pain is usually caused by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/muscle+strain" rel="tag">muscle strain</a> and overuse, for example doing yard work for a couple of hours can cause this kind of back pain most of the time the day after is the wurst day. The only way to treat this is to take a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/little+rest" rel="tag">little rest</a> but not longer than a day or two, avoid positions that exacerbate the pain, use heat or ice, and take a pain killer if you absolutely need to. After that first day of rest you need to start doing some exercises.<br><br>With acute lower back pain you can do the exercises on your own but when you have <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chronic+back+pain" rel="tag">chronic back pain</a> it is wise to learn the exercises under supervision of a physical therapist. Most of the time you can do them on your own after you have the hang of it and even when there is a waiting list for the physical therapist there is a lot you can do without supervision.<br><br>When the extreme pain is over and you are able to stand up on your own, it is time to start with some <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/strengthening+exercises" rel="tag">strengthening exercises</a> and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gentle+stretches" rel="tag">gentle stretches</a>, these will not only address your back but also your stomach and legs. All exercise you do should be about strengthening the muscles in the back stomach and legs because when you have strong muscles they are much less sensitive to be strained. And when you have strong leg and stomach muscles these can help your back muscles from overuse and straining. Strong muscles help to keep less strong muscles in place, our body just works better when it has strong muscles. This way the exercises will prevent the back pain from returning and become chronic, it also helps you recover much faster.<br><br>You should not let any residual pain keep you from doing exercises, lying in bed will make your muscles only stiffer and you will lose strength and flexibility. In the long run it will make you feel better, if you are a little bit hard for yourself remember the pain will be much greater if you rest to long.<br><br>Keep on doing these lower back pain exercises for a couple of weeks or even months after the pain has gone away to prevent it from returning.<bio>Richard Collins knows about back pain first hand. He has seen all kinds of doctors and done all kinds of therapies. On his blog he talks about this subject in more detail ranging from <a href="http://www.gottabackpain.com/lower-back-pain/stay-active-exercises-for-lower-back-pain-56/">exercises for lower back pain</a> to <a href="http://www.gottabackpain.com/">back pain kidney</a>.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[If you're going to get in shape for summer, you are probably wondering what types of exercises to get in shape for summer are the most effective. Well, first of all, you should realize that getting into shape for summer requires more than just losing weight. Unless you've been toning your muscles as well, you probably will not look as good as you would like. Not only that, but muscle tissue also burns more calories than fat tissue - so if you add a little bit of muscle mass now, you'll find it easier to keep the weight off through the summer. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/resistance+training" rel="tag">Resistance Training</a> Is An Important Part Of Any Exercise Routine. <br /><br /> The best options for toning your muscles involve some resistance training, which should be a major part of your exercise to get in shape for summer. While you do not need to do a lot of weight lifting unless you actually want to bulk up a little, some resistance training is necessary. This includes getting free weights or a home gym in order to work out your upper and lower bodies. You should also use resistance training on your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/abdominal+muscles" rel="tag">abdominal muscles</a> - this way they will look much better than if you are just relying on un-weighted sit-ups or crunches to help you build your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+muscles" rel="tag">stomach muscles</a>. <br /><br /> The other benefit of doing resistance training, especially on your abdomen, is that it will likely help you feel better during the rest of the day. Strong abs, for instance, will improve your posture. This, in turn, can also reduce the amount of aches and pains, especially in your back, that you have to deal with now and in the future. <br /><br /> Finally, exercising to get in shape is always a good idea! Even if you do not reach your goal for the summer, you will still have done your body good. <bio>Julia Mahler is the publisher of <a href="http://www.a1-weight-lifting-equipment.com">http://www.a1-weight-lifting-equipment.com.</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Acid reflux occurs because the muscle at the bottom of the esophagus fails to close properly. This muscle should work like a one-way valve, allowing food to enter the stomach, and stopping <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+acid" rel="tag">stomach acid</a> from backing up. <br /><br /> Several factors will influence the way this muscle works, and cause acid reflux. In infants and babies, the muscle may not close tight enough to keep the stomach acid in the tummy. This is commonly called colic. Colic can be miserable for both the baby and the family, but it generally disappears by about six to eight months of age, as the child's muscles develop and strengthen. Another common reason people suffer from acid reflux is pregnancy, or being overweight. Both of these conditions cause extra pressure to build up along the diaphragm, and push on the lower esophagus. This can weaken the muscle, and promote acid reflux. <br /><br /> Almost fifty percent of acid reflux sufferers have stomach muscles that work very slowly, this can result in delayed emptying of the stomach. When this occurs, food remains in the stomach longer than normal, increasing the chances that the stomach acid could splash up on the sensitive tissues of the esophagus. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hiatal+hernias" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hiatal+hernia" rel="tag">Hiatal hernia</a>s</a> can also cause the symptoms of acid reflux. The hiatus is a passageway in the diaphragm that permits food from the esophagus to pass into the stomach. A hiatal hernia is when a small part of the stomach actually protrudes up through the hole. This prevents the muscle at the bottom of the esophagus from working properly, and can lead to acid reflux. <br /><br /> Several common <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/medications" rel="tag">medications</a> may also cause you to suffer the effects of acid reflux. Medications that irritate the stomach lining can aggravate the symptoms of acid reflux. The most common medications that do this are Motrin, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/nuprin" rel="tag">Nuprin</a>, and Advil. These medications are commonly used as pain relievers, and many sufferers report relief if the take these medications with food. Different types of foods can also cause acid reflux. If you suffer from this disease, keeping a food diary can help you discover the cause and prevent future suffering. Many people get into the habit of taking antacids several times each day. This only masks the symptoms of acid reflux, and provides short-term relief. If you find yourself using antacids more than three times each week, then it is time to visit the doctor. Several effective treatments will stop acid reflux, and prevent complications from starting. <bio>Gerri Stone publishes information to help you find relief from acid reflux at <a href="http://www.AcidsRefluxSolution.com" >http://www.AcidsRefluxSolution.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Was your latest bout of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+flu" rel="tag">stomach flu</a> really the stomach flu? Or was it some other virus that found its way into your intestines? Kid get sick and throw up all the time -- is it always the stomach flu? Actually, it is probably not. It turns out that what most of us think of as the stomach flu is really something else, a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gastrointestinal+virus" rel="tag">gastrointestinal virus</a>. The flu is actually a respiratory illness, everyone just thinks that the stomach flu is that horrible sickly <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/diarrhea" rel="tag">diarrhea</a>. Even some <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/doctors" rel="tag">doctors</a> have started calling it the flu, just so people know what they are talking about. <br /><br /> If you have children, then you probably know how much the stomach flu can affect them. In most cases the name of the virus that they actually have is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rotavirus" rel="tag">Rotavirus</a>. This is especially common in small children. This is not the only thing that can cause vomiting and diarrhea. Your child could be sick due to some <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/nasty+bacteria" rel="tag">nasty bacteria</a> that found its way in, or even parasites. If your child is ill for more than a couple of days or is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/running+a+fever" rel="tag">running a fever</a>, it is always better to be safe than sorry, and take your child to the doctor. <br /><br /> A lot of times parents don't want to call the doctor about the stomach flu, but it is okay to if you are worried. That is what doctors are for, to support you and let you know what is going on, so that you don't have to worry about it any more. <br /><br /> The notion that the stomach flu is only supposed to last a day or so is completely off the mark. Most people stay sick with the stomach flu for days -- even a week. It all depends on which kind of stomach flu you or your child gets, because some are just stronger and nastier than others. <br /><br /> Whatever you do when your child has the stomach flu, you need to keep him or her well-hydrated. Lots and lots of water is going to make the stomach flu go away that much sooner, and it is going to keep your child feeling better than they would without the fluids. This is even more important if your child has diarrhea. In this case, it can be downright dangerous if your son or daughter is not getting enough water. You may want to look into getting some Pediasure, as it has the electrolytes your child's body needs when it is dehydrated. <bio>Dorothy Brown writes articles for several web sites, including <a href="http://foraw.com" >http://foraw.com</a> and <a href="http://mowek.com" >http://mowek.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/irritable+bowel+syndrome" rel="tag">Irritable Bowel Syndrome</a> is a condition that makes the stomach feel like a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/butter+churn" rel="tag">butter churn</a>. It includes some pretty heavy symptoms that are not attractive to talk about. Though the pain that is caused by Irritable Bowel Syndrome is relatively small, there are some major question marks surrounding the treatment of the condition. Doctors still don't have a firm hook on how to treat Irritable Bowel Syndrome and they make this known by giving out different treatments to each different patient that they see. Despite expensive research, doctors still aren't quite sure how to fix your bowel situation. Maybe they should see a plumber. <br /><br /> One thing is for certain in regards to Irritable Bowel Syndrome, though. It can be caused by, among other things, a lot of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stress" rel="tag">stress</a> and tension in the middle abdominal area. Those people who go through stress each and every day at their job or in school are more likely to pick up Irritable Bowel Syndrome than those folks who live relaxed lives. Everybody experiences some stress, though. In the end, it comes down to how well the stress is managed. If you don't manage it well, then Irritable Bowel Syndrome can manifest itself within your stomach. In that case, settle in and get ready for a few <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/adventurous" rel="tag">adventurous</a> weeks. If you aren't content with just riding it out, then you might want to think about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hypnosis" rel="tag">hypnosis</a> as a possible treatment. <br /><br /> You didn't know that hypnosis can treat things like Irritable Bowel Syndrome? You thought that hypnosis was something that you only saw in magic shows? You didn't know hypnosis was an actually recognized type of treatment for a laundry list of conditions? If that's the case, then you better get with the times. In recent years, more and more professionals are recommending their clients to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hypnotherapists" rel="tag">hypnotherapists</a>. Hypnotherapists offer a real solution to problems that occur in everyday life. Some of these problems are mental and some (like Irritable Bowel Syndrome) are physical. Whatever the case, hypnosis can help out. <br /><br /> Hypnosis helps with Irritable Bowel Syndrome by working to release the tension within the stomach muscles. Then those muscles relax, more blood can be pumped into the stomach area. As more blood makes its way into the stomach, more oxygen and other good cells can make their way to the Irritable Bowel Syndrome and end it. If you need help with Irritable Bowel Syndrome, then grab some information on hypnosis. It could be just what you were looking for. <bio>For more on Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and hypnosis, please visit Richard's website <a href="http://www.richardmackenzie.co.uk/shop/ibs-mp3.htm" >http://www.richardmackenzie.co.uk/shop/ibs-mp3.htm</a> and <a href="http://www.richardmackenzie.co.uk/ibs.htm" >http://www.richardmackenzie.co.uk/ibs.htm</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[When it comes to our bodies, we all have one place or another that we are somewhat unsatisfied with. You always hear people say things like "I hate my thighs" or "my butt is too big". Of course some of these things are said in jest, but there is still discontent hidden in there. <br /><br /> Despite it all though, the one thing that has become almost an obsession today is the way our abs look. It seems that everyone is looking for those ever elusive "<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/six+pack+abs" rel="tag">six pack abs</a>", but much like <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ponce+de+leon" rel="tag">Ponce De Leon</a>'s search for the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fountain+of+youth" rel="tag">fountain of youth</a>, it seems like it is impossible to find. <br /><br /> Now, while there is no "magical formula" for attaining a flat, firm, and toned stomach, there is something you can do that if done regularly, will get you the results that you are looking for. To get these results, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+crunches" rel="tag">stomach crunches</a> need to be done daily but keep in mind that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+exercises" rel="tag">stomach exercises</a> alone will not burn the fat off of your midsection. <br /><br /> Keeping your calories in check along with doing your crunches everyday will be the way for you to see that flat, chiseled, sexy stomach. Crunches are easy to do, and if done properly, are very effective for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/toning" rel="tag">toning</a> those abs. Here is a step by step breakdown of the proper way to get the most out of your crunches. <br /><br /> Lie flat on your back on the floor with your legs bent to about a 90-degree angle with both your rear and your feet flat on the floor. Place your hands behind your head making sure not to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/interlock" rel="tag">interlock</a> your fingers. You can make your hands into fists so you do not pull up on the back of your neck. <br /><br /> The next thing to do is to pick a spot on the ceiling directly above you. This should be done in order to ensure that you do not bend your neck during the duration of the movement. Do not take your eyes off this spot! The most common mistake while performing a crunch is too much stress on the neck as a result of pulling on it with the hands. <br /><br /> The next step is to stabilize the low back. This can be done by tightening the muscles in the abdomen. <br /><br /> Slowly curl forward and up using your abdominal muscles only. There should be no bending at the waist. Keep your abdominal muscles firm for the entire duration to ensure low back stabilization. <br /><br /> Keep your focus on that spot on the ceiling to prevent neck pain as a result of stress. At the top position your shoulder blades should only be between 4-8 inches off the ground. There is no need to go any further. Pause at this top position. This whole movement should be performed slowly and take about 2 seconds to perform. Pause at the top position for 1-2 seconds to ensure full contraction of the abdominal muscles. <br /><br /> Slowly return to the starting position keeping your abs contracted. <br /><br /> That is all there is to it. The crunch is not a very big movement because you are working your abs only. A full sit-up does not work your abs better than the crunch because once you are past the crunch position, your abs are fully contracted and it is your hip muscles that are straining to lift you up, not your abs. <br /><br /> Doing a hundred of these a day is not the key here. Doing two to three sets of 15 to 20 of these at a slow and deliberate pace with good form is what is recommended for maximum benefits and minimum risk of injury. <bio>Jim O'Neill gives you tons of valuable information on the subjects of weight loss, fitness, and nutrition to make it easy for you to live a healthy lifestyle. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Our <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach" rel="tag">stomach</a> is one of the parts of the body that receives the harshest treatment and the least appreciation. Think about it. When is the last time you were really thankful that your stomach was working properly? Perhaps it takes seeing a friend or family member who has a rough stomach for us to really be grateful for our stomach health. But it shouldn't. We should be consistently treating our stomach with care so that it can do it's job well without causing us pain. <br /><br /> Being good to your stomach can be simple. Maybe you are already making <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wise+choices" rel="tag">wise choices</a> for your stomach or perhaps you will have to make some severe <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lifestyle+changes" rel="tag">lifestyle changes</a> in order to really be good to your stomach. Whatever it requires, you should commit to being good to your stomach from this point forward. <br /><br /> What does it mean to be good to your stomach? Basically, to be good to your stomach means watching the things you put into it and the things you do. Surely everyone has experienced the pain of eating a meal that is too spicy or too greasy or too full of acid. Our <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomachs" rel="tag">stomachs</a> do so much in the process of breaking down our <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/food+choices" rel="tag">food choices</a>. Many times our stomachs are able to cover up some of our eating "sins," but other times they let us know that we have made a poor choice. I'm convinced that we owe it to our stomachs (not to mention to the rest of our bodies) to make <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/healthy+eating" rel="tag">healthy eating</a> choices that are easy on our bodies and good for our health. <br /><br /> Take some time to evaluate the things you are putting into your stomach each day. Are you being kind or harsh? Do you notice any patterns that could perhaps be harmful to your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/digestive+system" rel="tag">digestive system</a>? If so, consider changing them. You only have one stomach, and therefore it requires your upmost attention and care. Different stomachs have different levels of tolerance for spices, acids, and foods. You may not be able to eat everything your neighbor or even your spouse can eat. It is important that you learn, if you haven't already, what is good for you and stick to it. <br /><br /> The great thing about learning to eat based on the reaction of your stomach is that you will end up making good choices not only for your stomach but also for the rest of your body. The chances are high that what is good for your stomach will also benefit your body and your overall health. So be intentional about what you eat and drink and don't hesitate to pass up things that aren't good for you or your stomach. <bio>Rachael Cleipher has learned some stomach lessons the hard way. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Caused by damage to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vagus+nerve" rel="tag">vagus nerve</a>, which regulates the digestive system, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gastroparesis" rel="tag">Gastroparesis</a> is a condition in which the stomach in incapable of completely emptying food in a normal manner. <br /><br /> Because of the damage to the vagus nerve, which regulates the digestive system, the muscles in the stomach and in the intestine work improperly and with this malfunction keep the food from moving through properly the gastrointestinal system. <br /><br /><br /><br /> With this disorder there is no evidence of an obstruction or other occlusion of the stomach which could be the cause of the delayed emptying of food contents.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Gastroparesis is caused by uncontrolled diabetes, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/uncontrolled+hypertension" rel="tag">uncontrolled hypertension</a>, or gastric surgery with injury to the vagus nerve. However, in approximately 60% of the cases, there is no definite cause of Gastroparesis.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Heartburn, GERD, nausea, vomiting, vague stomach pains, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/abdominal+bloating" rel="tag">abdominal bloating</a>, weight loss, vomiting undigested food and feeling full very quickly when eating even after just a few bites are some of the primary symptoms of Gastroparesis.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Gastroparesis is a chronic condition and current treatment typically does not cure the disease. <br /><br /> However there are several options available to help better manage this condition. The treatment of Gastroparesis is dependent on the severity and life-impact of the symptoms.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Easy to implement treatment options include dietary changes of eating several small meals each day instead of three large meals which allows your stomach to empty the smaller meals more quickly.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Also, the diet of choice should be one lower in fiber, fat and roughage. Often liquid meals or softer foods are better than solid foods for those with Gastroparesis.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Certain medications may also be employed in order to help with stomach emptying. One of the more commonly used medications is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/metoclopramide" rel="tag">metoclopramide</a> or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/reglan" rel="tag">Reglan</a>®. However, medication often has dose-limiting side effects that may cause a patient to decide to stop taking it after a short while. <br /><br /> Another medication, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/erythromycin" rel="tag">Erythromycin</a>, an antibiotic, is also used to speed up stomach emptying. Anti-emetics designed to control the nausea and vomiting associated with Gastroparesis may also be used.<br /><br /><br /><br /> This chronic condition can be difficult to manage and to control the symptoms. Working closely with a healthcare provider is the key to finding the combination of treatments that will work best. <bio>For more important information on stomach pain be sure to visit <a href="http://a-stomach-pain.com" >http://a-stomach-pain.com</a> where you will find advice and tips on common stomach pain causes such as acid stomach ulcer, Crohn's disease, and other articles that you can view at <a href="http://www.a-stomach-pain.com" >http://www.a-stomach-pain.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Even after having a stomach stapling only about thirty percent of patients will achieve their <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ideal+weight" rel="tag">ideal weight</a> as categorized by the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/body+mass+index" rel="tag">body mass index</a>. This goes to show that stomach stapling is a last resort measure intended to save your life, not make you look superstar thin. Althought there are some patients who achieve this after they have their stomach stapling. If you work out and stick to your new diet you have every chance of being one of that thirty percent. <br /><br /> On the up side eighty percent of those that undergoe <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+stapling+surgery" rel="tag">stomach stapling surgery</a> lose weight. This is the reason stomach stapling is widely used and considered effective. People that couldn't lose weight for years prior to the surgery finally begin to see results after having their stomach stapling. On average the patients who have surgery lose about sixty percent of their overall previous body weight. For many this is the lifesaver. They are still considered overweight according to their <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bmi" rel="tag">BMI</a> but they are healthy, able to move around and often find that they lose previous medical problems. These problems can be, asthma, diabetes, heart disease, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/high+cholesterol" rel="tag">high cholesterol</a>, and muscle and joint pain. <br /><br /> Though you should remember that a portion of those that underwent a stomach stapling and lost excess weight regained that weight in three to five years of their surgery. This is likely due to falling back on old dietary habits, such as eating high calorie foods, and returning to a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sedentary+lifestyle" rel="tag">sedentary lifestyle</a>. Stomach stapling may not always work and give the patient good results. If a patient doesn't continue to follow or use their dietary guidelines that their doctor or nutritionist provides they will regain weight. The stomach stapling is a tool that's part of what you need in order to change your life. This is an important <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/thing+to+remember" rel="tag">thing to remember</a> when considering stomach stapling surgery. <bio>Read more <a href="<a href="http://www.stomach-stapling.info">http://www.stomach-stapling.info.</a>/sitemap.html"><a href="http://www.stomach-stapling.info">http://www.stomach-stapling.info.</a>/sitemap.html</a> and <a href="<a href="http://www.stomach-stapling.info">http://www.stomach-stapling.info.</a>/stomach-stapling-info-index.htm"><a href="http://www.stomach-stapling.info">http://www.stomach-stapling.info.</a>/stomach-stapling-info-index.htm</a> or visit our <a href="http://www.stomach-stapling.info">http://www.stomach-stapling.info.</a>. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Heartburn is a common problem in today's world. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/acid+reflux" rel="tag">Acid reflux</a>, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gastric+reflux" rel="tag">gastric reflux</a>, GERD, (<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gastroesophageal+reflux+disease" rel="tag">Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease</a>) are the many names heartburn has been given. Even though they all share many of the same traits, there are specific medical conditions that can be found in each. <br /><br /> Acid reflux or acid disorder reflux is a disorder of the digestive tract. <br /><br /> Acid disorder reflux gives the unfortunate sufferer a burning sensation in their chest and stomach. This painful inflammation is the result of hydrochloric acid. Hydrochloric acid is used by the stomach to digest food. <br /><br /> When the stomach and the esophagus canal is not separated by a mechanism known as the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lower+esophageal+sphincter" rel="tag">Lower Esophageal Sphincter</a>, then the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+acids" rel="tag">stomach acids</a> backup into the esophagus. This refluxing motion causes an irritation to the sensitive tissues in the lower esophagus area. <br /><br /> Generally the esophageal <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sphincter+muscle" rel="tag">sphincter muscle</a> functions normally. It contracts and closes the esophagus area after you have had a meal. This closure prevents the stomach acid from rising up into the esophagus during the digestion process. However there are times when the Lower Esophageal Sphincter does not operate properly, then acid from the stomach reflux into the esophagus. This results in the condition that is medically known as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gastroesophageal+reflux+disorder" rel="tag">gastroesophageal reflux disorder</a> or acid disorder reflux. <br /><br /> The reasons for acid reflux disorder reflux are varied. <br /><br /> However they often occur with other health issues like allergies, enzyme deficiencies, gallbladder problems, hiatal hernia, stress and heartburn ulcers. <br /><br /> Food and beverage consumption is another possible cause. It is recommended that you avoid consumption of alcohol, chocolate, citrus fruits and drinks as these are known to relax the Lower Esophageal Sphincter or LES as it is called. <br /><br /> Coffee, tea and colas which contain caffeine should be eliminated from your diet as well. These beverages contain a substance called theobromine. <br /><br /> Fried and fatty foods have a tendency to slow down the digestion process. Eating large amounts of food at any time of the day can put a lot of pressure on your stomach muscles. When the food is kept in your stomach for a long period, there is increased pressure to the stomach muscles. This pressure build-up can weaken the LES. <br /><br /> As this is the valve that protects your esophagus from the stomach you need to take care that this weakened conditioned does not allow the digested food acids to pass into your esophagus. Therefore you should eat small meals throughout the day. <br /><br /> By consuming large amounts of food, you cause the LES to relax and reflux food into the esophagus leading to acid disorder reflux. <br /><br /> Tomatoes and tomato-based products like sauces and tomato juice will also cause the LES to relax. These tomato-based products lead to an increase in the production of stomach acid. When they reflux into the esophagus, the acidity levels cause acid disorder reflux. <br /><br /> By watching what you eat and taking care of your health, you stand a better chance of avoiding acid disorder reflux from entering your life and causing you pain. Besides, it's always better in the long run to eat healthy anyway. <bio>The author is publisher of two special informational Internet resources - Heartburn Problems (<a href="http://www.heartburnproblems.com" >http://www.heartburnproblems.com</a>) and Dealing With Heartburn (<a href="http://www.dealingwithheartburn.com" >http://www.dealingwithheartburn.com</a>) </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[One day, a female friend asked me to go visit <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/benny+hinn" rel="tag">Benny Hinn</a>. <br /><br /> Benny Hinn is a charismatic church preacher that can heal people. <br /><br /> I read in <a href="http://<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wikipedia" rel="tag">wikipedia</a>.com" >http://wikipedia.com</a> that many people think he's a fraud. Many believe that his miracles are caused by suggestion, positive thinking, hypnosis, and placebo effect. <br /><br /> Whatever it was, I decided that the event was worth seeing. So I went. <br /><br /> After all, false opinions are not always fraudulent and are not necessarily useless and harmful. <br /><br /> If you ask a martial artist in ancient time what's the secret of his <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/punch" rel="tag">punch</a>, he would say that the power comes from a subtle power called <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chi" rel="tag">chi</a>. The chi comes from somewhere three centimeters below the stomach. <br /><br /> Nowadays, modern scientists argue that the most powerful muscles in our body are those in our stomach. So it's no wonder that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/martial+artists" rel="tag">martial artists</a> in ancient times believed that their power comes from some mysterious force under the stomach. <br /><br /> Did the martial artists lie? No. Is their opinion useless? Of course not. They did put quite a punch. And who knows? Just who knows? The chi could really exist and can explain the powerful punch better than the strong <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+muscles" rel="tag">stomach muscles</a> theory. <br /><br /> The same way, I think Benny really believed that his power comes from God. Did he lie? No. Is it a useless belief? Well, let's see. <br /><br /> I was amazed. I saw a lot of empty wheel chairs on the stage. I heard live testimony of people that couldn't walk for four years then could suddenly walk, even jog. <br /><br /> I saw a kid that couldn't see. Benny walked around the stage and the kid followed. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Having a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/flat+stomach" rel="tag">flat stomach</a> may be a difficult thing to achieve. Some people may even try to do many things just to lessen that flabby waist. But it must a consideration for everyone who wants to lessen their love handles that doing so requires perseverance. A person should not easily give up if he really wants to achieve the weight he aspires. There are many ways that can be done and doing it more consistently would give the best result in flattening the abs.<br><br><br /><br /> Doing exercises that concentrates in the abdominal area would make the person develop abdominal muscles. So, crunches and sit ups would help lessen the fat and increase the muscles in the abdominal area. However, doing exercises on the abdominal area may not be sufficient to lose fat stomach. If a person do whole body exercise like running, walking, swimming, and other <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cardio+vascular+exercises" rel="tag">cardio vascular exercises</a>, the body will have more energy requirement. Thus, the body will burn more stored fat in the whole body. Also, doing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/aerobic+exercises" rel="tag">aerobic exercises</a> would tone the body and help maintain a more balanced body shape.<br><br><br /><br /> Doing exercises would definitely help increase the energy requirement of the body. However, to achieve a more visible result, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/eating+a+balanced+diet" rel="tag">eating a balanced diet</a> would be another way to lose fat stomach. Since the body needs food as a source of energy, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/crash+dieting" rel="tag">crash dieting</a> would not be a good way. It is important that the person is still healthy. If not, he might be injured or his body organs might be damaged. A person should only eat the right foods of right amount. Eating less than usual would help the body use more of the stored energy in the body. The right foods include fruits, vegetables, and foods that have less sugar, calorie, and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cholesterol+content" rel="tag">cholesterol content</a>. By eating the right foods and eating less of the wrong foods, the body will have a better chance to lose fat stomach.<br><br><br /><br /> Lastly, to achieve the body that is desired, it is important that a person should be consistent in his diet and exercise. This is important so that the body would be accustomed to the new habit thus, the flabby stomach would be gone more permanently. Another factor to be considered is that a change in the diet of a person and his exercise habit should change gradually and not in an instant. Thus, the person should lessen his food intake little by little and his exercise should increase slowly each day. This is done so that the organs in the body would not be injured.<br><br><br /><br /> These are just some of the ways to lose the fat stomach. It is important to remember that change in the body is done step by step. Losing weight and smaller waistline is not done overnight. So, a little change everyday may go a long way. Simply continue the things that you do to lessen the flab in the stomach and the results will be visible after a regular diet and exercise. Also, it is important that the body is healthy while losing weight.<bio><a href="http://peopleoverweight.com/">how to lose weight easy</a> | <a href="http://peopleoverweight.com/2008/weight-loss-camp/what-you-should-know-about-weight-loss-camp-for-adults/">weight loss camp for adults</a> | <a href="http://peopleoverweight.com/2008/weight-loss/weight-loss-help-how-to-lose-10-pounds-in-3-days/">how to lose 10 pounds in 3 days</a></bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[As anyone knows who has ever had sciatic <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/nerve+pain" rel="tag">nerve pain</a>, it is extremely painful. Move in the wrong way and you will experience intense pain. Numbness and tingling may occur at any time. This makes it extremely hard to go about your daily activities or do productive work to support yourself and your family.<br><br>As soon as possible, you need to begin stretching and strengthening your muscles for sciatic pain relief and help prevent further problems.<br><br>Before beginning any exercises for sciatic nerve pain, get a diagnosis from a physician such as a chiropractor. You need to be sure you do not have a condition of injury that will be made worse by exercising.<br><br>Exercise your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+muscles" rel="tag">stomach muscles</a>, but that doesn't mean start doing crunches and sit ups, these will make it worse and in fact may help cause sciatica. The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hip+flexor" rel="tag">hip flexor</a>, piriformis, and stomach muscles are the most important ones to strengthen if you have sciatica.<br><br>There are 3 simple exercises for sciatica. They are<br><br>1. Lay on the floor, one leg bent and foot flat on the floor, the other leg straight. Hold your lower back flat against the floor. Raise your straight leg 8 to 10 inches off the floor keeping you lower stomach muscles tight. Hold this for about 10 seconds then lower your leg. Repeat with other leg. Remember to raise and lower you leg slowly. Try to work your way up to ten lifts a day with each leg. This will help strengthen you <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lower+abdomen" rel="tag">lower abdomen</a>.<br><br>2. The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/piriformis+muscles" rel="tag">piriformis muscles</a> are the ones in your buttocks. These need to be strengthened to take the pressure off your sacro-Iliac joints, the ones that connect the base of you spine to your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pelvic+bone" rel="tag">pelvic bone</a>. One way to do this is place a rolled up towel at the base of your spine where the triangle shaped bone, (the sacrum), is. One end should be at about where your waist is and the other at or slightly beyond your sacrum. Make <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/two+fists" rel="tag">two fists</a> and put them behind your head on the rounded area of your skull, (the occiput). Do this for about five minutes and then go for a short walk. This exercise will help take the pressure of your joints and spine.<br><br>3. Stretching your hamstring muscles will help loosen them and prevent stress on the sciatic nerve which causes pain. Lie on you back with knees bent, feet flat on the floor. Put your hands behind your knee and pull up your leg until it points upward, then straighten your leg until you begin to feel it stretch. Stop there and hold for around 30 seconds. Repeat 2 or 3 times. Do the same with the other leg. Repeat this 2 or 3 times a day. Don't overdo this exercise or it could make your pain worse.<br><br>The more you can keep active and exercise the better off you will be. Inactivity causes your muscles to get weak and therefor cause your back to get worse. Get on your feet and move around as soon as you can. If you feel pain while doing any of these exercises, stop doing them and consult a chiropractic or spine specialist.<bio>For better result you know the details <a target="_new" href="http://remediesofbackpain.blogspot.com/2008/08/best-natural-treatments-of-sciatica.html">natural treatment for sciatica</a> with exercises. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Many people assume that the only <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/acid+reflux" rel="tag">acid reflux</a> info they need to know is this: if you have heartburn, you take an antacid and consider the problem fixed. <br /><br /> This, unfortunately, does not solve anything. Medication will only do so much, and there are basic steps you can take to lessen the need for it. <br /><br /> One of those steps is to understand why acid reflux occurs. In order to do that, you need to learn how your body digests food and why complications can sometimes occur. Thus, you need more acid reflux information than just knowing when to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/take+a+pill" rel="tag">take a pill</a>. <br /><br /> When you swallow food, it makes its way down your throat, eventually sliding to the bottom where it meets the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lower+esophageal+sphincter" rel="tag">lower esophageal sphincter</a> muscles. This ring serves as a barrier between your stomach and your throat and keeps the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+acid" rel="tag">stomach acid</a> from coming up. <br /><br /> Food will press against the ring and it will open, allowing the contents to pass through. It is then supposed to close up, tight against the acid. Food then continues toward the stomach where it is digested. This is the scenario of a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/healthy+body" rel="tag">healthy body</a>. <br /><br /> It changes, however, when there are problems. For instance, if the lower esophageal sphincter becomes too relaxed, it will not close when food passes through. Instead, it will remain open. This allows the acid that builds up in your stomach a way into your throat. Your body will try to remove the excess acid and that is the easiest option. The acid will pass through the relaxed muscles and you will experience what is called acid reflux. <br /><br /> What many people fail to realize is that the lower esophageal sphincter does not simply relax for no reason. There is a cause to it, multiple ones actually. <br /><br /> Everything from the foods you eat to when you eat them can play a part in causing this. The causes are many and you need to recognize them so you may avoid them, and keep yourself from relying on taking pill after pill, which only mask the problem, not solve it. <br /><br /> The most obvious cause is food itself. When you explore acid reflux information regarding food, you will discover that certain products can irritate your digestive process. Things like peppermint, citrus, chocolate, alcohol and whole milk can not only relax the muscles but can also encourage the production of more stomach acid, which will just build until there is nowhere for it to go but up into your esophagus. <br /><br /> You will have to find out which foods cause your symptoms; as not all people have the same problems. It is recommended, though, if you are particularly susceptible to acid reflux, that you avoid heavy fried foods and items that contain high levels of salt. <br /><br /> Another cause of acid reflux is the way you eat your food. People often enjoy late-night snacks before they go to bed. This is a bad idea! <br /><br /> For information on treating and preventing acid reflux through natural means sign up for the free newsletter below. <br /><br /> You need to give your body at least three hours to process the food. That way, you will not risk putting too much pressure on your stomach when sleeping. <br /><br /> Another thing to remember is proper posture. How you sit can easily effect how food slides down the throat. Do not lean or bend forward after eating. <br /><br /> With acid reflux info, you can know how to do more than just rely on medication. You can recognize the causes before symptoms start and know what to do about them. <bio>By Kathryn Whittaker. <content:encoded><![CDATA[There is probably no part of the body that more individuals want to work out and look good than the abs. A slim <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/flat+stomach" rel="tag">flat stomach</a> for the gals, and the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/six+pack+abs" rel="tag">six pack abs</a> have almost become a symbol of fitness or being "good looking" for the guys. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/good+ab+workouts" rel="tag">Good ab workouts</a> aren't hard to find, but different ab workouts are better suited for different individuals. It can't be hard to know what specific needs your abs have at that moment.<br><br>Not every person's road to a great six pack set of abs is going to look the same. Depending on what type of ab workouts you have done before, the exercises and styles of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ab+exercises" rel="tag">ab exercises</a> you need to take your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stomach+muscles" rel="tag">stomach muscles</a> to the next level could be way different from what someone else needs. Having a variety of quality ab workouts is also important because different exercises affect the muscles in different ways. In the same reason that you can't keep building bulky muscle by using the exact same workout over and over again, you should vary the exercises, reps, and intensity of any ab workouts that you are using to sculpt your physique.<br><br>The hardest part with ab workouts is to stay committed. First of all, you need to understand that if you have a big beer gut, you should still do ab exercises, but that before you ever get anywhere close to a six pack, you will have to lose some of that body fat covering up the ab muscles.<br><br>There are many different approaches you can take to getting better abs. If you enjoy going to the gym, there are a variety of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cable+machines" rel="tag">cable machines</a> that help you work your ab muscles through a wide array of angles. There are many other non cable weight machines that also are designed to allow you to concentrate the abs from several different angles, allowing you to fully work out your abs in the same way doing various <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/floor+exercises" rel="tag">floor exercises</a> would.<br><br>If you prefer to avoid the gym, then the best way to work out at home could be by looking up pilates. Pilates has been on fire recently, and this allows for a number of basic ab workouts that normal ab movements can't come close to replicating. The nice thing about Pilates is that the movements are easy to earn and the exercises are easy to do from a technical stand point, while causing absolutely amazing results. Pilates are also easy to do from home, allowing you to sculpt out a great six pack while keeping away from prying eyes.<br><br>These are some of the best ways to start the types of ab workouts that will give you quick results and sculpt out the figure that you've been aiming for. The abs can be the hardest to stick with since it takes so much work and the results can take the longest to show. Stick with the great and effective ab workouts, however, and once you see the results you'll be happy you did.<bio>Build up Huge Muscles.. <content:encoded><![CDATA[The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lower+esophageal+sphincter" rel="tag">Lower Esophageal Sphincter</a> (LES) is responsible for separating the gullet and the stomach, this muscle works as a valve. If the LES relaxes then this makes it possible for the acids to move into the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/oesophagus" rel="tag">oesophagus</a>, this is one of the main causes for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/heartburn" rel="tag">heartburn</a>. <br /><br /> There are some foods and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/drinks" rel="tag">drinks</a> that can increase the risk of you suffering from heartburn, these include any caffeine containing drinks, which relax the LES which allows acid to flow into the oesophagus. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/theobromine" rel="tag">Theobromine</a> is found in chocolate, and caffeine, this chemical causes the LES to relax. Fatty foods take longer to digest, and so slow the process down. If food is kept inside our stomachs for a long time there is increased pressure on the stomach muscles, this weakens the LES muscle and so causes a reflux. Again, one of the causes for heartburn. <br /><br /> There are some foods that increase the production of stomach acid, an example of such a food includes anything that contains tomatoes. This increase of acid increases the risk of heartburn quite simply because there is more acid in your stomach than normal. <br /><br /> If you smoke, then you are weakening your LES, chemicals pass into your blood stream when you smoke resulting in a weaker LES. <br /><br /> You should eat smaller meals if possible, eating a big meal especially just before you go to bed can result in increased pressure pushing against your LES muscle. Therefore there is a chance that some digested food will ultimately end up in the gullet. <br /><br /> Another less obvious cause for heartburn is if you wear too <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tight+clothes" rel="tag">tight clothes</a>. If clothes press heavily against your stomach then they force food up against the LES. <br /><br /> The best way to cure your heartburn is to change your lifestyle. Avoid many of the foods and drinks which make the condition worse. <bio>Discover the 100% all natural cure for your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/acid+reflux" rel="tag">acid reflux</a> and stop heartburn today. <content:encoded><![CDATA[One of the best ways to improve your golf game is to practice off the course with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/golf+fitness" rel="tag">golf fitness</a> equipment. Certainly, the more you play any game or sport, the more familiar and comfortable you will be with it. But any pro or experienced coach will tell you that there is much to be said for really practicing your technique off the course as well. If practice makes perfect, that means that truly motivated players are willing to put in solid <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/exercise+time" rel="tag">exercise time</a> in order to fine tune your body for the intricacies of the game. Golf fitness equipment helps you tone your muscles and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/increase+flexibility" rel="tag">increase flexibility</a> in ways specifically designed to improve your game.<br><br>The core muscles are some of the most essential muscles to the game of golf, which is why so many golf fitness equipment sets focus on balance training. Balance training strengthens your core muscles all together because it requires you to use your stomach and back to maintain <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/proper+alignment" rel="tag">proper alignment</a>. Balance balls and discs offer a variety of positions and exercises that strengthen your balance and, therefore, your core muscles, which can greatly improve the accuracy and distance your swing can achieve.<br><br>Another great way to improve your core muscles is through golf fitness equipment that provides resistance. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/resistance+training" rel="tag">Resistance training</a> means that your body gets used to working against an added pressure or pull. When you get use to performing a certain action or motion with resistance, then removing that resistance makes the act far easier, and adds power to your stroke. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/resistance+cords" rel="tag">Resistance cords</a> help you strengthen almost all of your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/upper+body+muscles" rel="tag">upper body muscles</a> involved in your swing, including chest, back, torso, rotator cuffs, shoulders, and even hips. You may also consider using a medicine ball to achieve simple yet beneficial strengthening of the core muscles through twisting and flexibility.<br><br>Of course, one of the best ways to achieve fitness and improve your game through golf fitness equipment is to exercise with a program specifically designed to improve the muscles and coordination through golf-specific exercises. GolfGym Powerswing Trainer is an exercise program that comes with a complete training kit and exercise guidelines specifically geared toward golf. Because which hand you use is also very important, this kit even comes in left handed or right handed versions. The guide DVD and manual offer twenty five different exercises that utilize all the equipment and work everything from your rotator cuffs and shoulders to your stomach, back, and hip muscles.<br><br>Even when it is off-season for golf, there is no excuse not to be working on your game. Golf fitness equipment lets you strengthen your entire body to prepare you for optimum performance on the course. Balance balls, balance discs, and medicine balls help strengthen your core muscles, which improve the strength and accuracy of your swing. Meanwhile, resistance cords and other upper body workouts increase the power and control of your shoulders, back, rotator cuffs, and hips. No matter where you choose to exercise, spending time with golf fitness equipment can have a great impact on your game once you get back on the course.<bio>Maxx Johnson of VGS Golf and Country Club Supplies Click for <a href="http://www.virtualgolfswing.com/golf-equipment-golf-fitness-equipment-c-133_126.html">Golf Fitness Equipment</a>.
