Paul has conflicting emotional desires and needs which complicate his personal life and relationships. He may feel that he cannot depend on his love partner to take care of him or perhaps McCartney cannot decide what he really wants in love relationships: a parent or a lover. However, when in relationship, Paul McCartney is steadfast and loyal, especially if he has a warm, demonstrative partner. He is very sensual in nature and craves plenty of touching and physical affection. Paul enjoys being pampered with a good meal, a loving massage or other sensual delights. He is a wonderful lover who is very attentive to the comfort and enjoyment of his loved one. Paul McCartney responds intensely to beauty and physical appearance, and the physical attractiveness of his partner is very important to him.

McCartney gets a lot of emotional fulfillment through his involvement in groups, clubs, organizations, community activities, or a network of close friends who support and care for him. Paul McCartney makes friends his family, and he feels a close kinship with people who share some ideals or beliefs that he holds dear. Paul McCartney needs close relationships with people outside of his physical family.

Warm, loving and generous in his relationships, Paul McCartney inspires tremendous devotion and loyalty in his loved ones. This is good, since he would never settle for anything less! Paul wants to be adored and worshiped like the royalty he feels he is, and it is difficult for anyone to resist the warmth and attention McCartney lavishes on those he cares about. Paul McCartney has a great deal of pride and needs to be recognized and appreciated. He is genuine, sincere, has a strong sense of personal integrity, and hates emotional games and dishonesty.

Paul is attracted to foreigners, exotic places, traveling, and to people who can expand his horizons, teach him something, or show McCartney places and worlds he has never experienced before. He also feels love and kinship for people everywhere, not only with his own family, nationality, or group. Finding similarities and making links between people from differing backgrounds or with different perspectives is a gift of his. <bio>Article can be reprinted with copyright addressed to Shlomo Tommer, partner with Top Synergy Relationships Group [http://www.topsynergy.com/], and editor of Paul McCartney's Astro Profile [http://famous-relationships.topsynergy.com/Paul_McCartney/]. </bio>

Paul McCartney tickets, in one form or another, have been available for decades. McCartney's life is one of the most interesting in the music world, and his music is revered. Even now, as he nears his mid-60's, McCartney still draws a huge crowd wherever he plays, which is why the music world is once again abuzz in his regard, as he's hitting the stage once again. A look at his life will help to explain how he became such an icon.

Early Life

James Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool, England on June 18, 1942. His lifestyle was anything but extravagant as a child, as his mother was a midwife and his father made even less money working at a cotton company. However, McCartney did get to experience the "other side" of life, as his mother's jobs allowed the family to live in the homes where she worked. This exposure would have a lasting effect on McCartney's view of life.

McCartney was an intelligent child, as he was one of the few children who passed an entrance exam that allowed him to enroll at the highly-respected Liverpool Institute, where he would meet someone who would play a large role in his life - George Harrison, who rode the bus to school with him and lived one block away from McCartney at the time.

McCartney was also exposed to music early, as a long line of relatives were musical by nature. His father was a trumpet and piano player who had his own jazz band. His grandfather played in a brass band, and these interests led Paul's father to bring Paul to several concerts of different genres as a child.

McCartney encountered struggle and tragedy early in life, however, as his mother passed way from breast cancer when Paul was only 14, and it hit him hard. He decided to throw himself into music on an even deeper level, and he wanted to learn the guitar. He traded his trumpet that his father had given him for a guitar, and he still owns his first guitar today.

Musical Career

As Paul entered his teen-aged years, he began to play local music competitions, which is where he met someone named John Lennon. McCartney and Lennon instantly found common musical ground, and they began to play in a series of small bands. This led to the ultimate formation of some band called the Beatles, and all they were was the hottest-selling rock and roll band of all-time.

After an historic ten-year run with the Beatles, Paul decided to venture out on his own. Given his fame, Paul McCartney tickets were instantly in demand, and his first solo album, McCartney, was released within weeks of the Beatles' split. McCartney eventually settled in with a new band, which he called Wings, and his future wife Linda was the keyboard player. Wings was a smashing success as well, producing 15 albums over the next ten years and selling millions of records worldwide.

In 1980, Paul decided to work as a solo artist exclusively after another run of ten years with Wings. He has released dozens of albums, and his singing and songwriting skills have never waned.

Personal Life

McCartney's personal life was filled with happiness and tragedy. He was married to Linda for 30 years, and it was a happy time in his life. However, breast cancer once again reared its ugly head into Paul's life, as it claimed Linda as a victim in 1998.

Paul later married model Heather Mills in 2002, and they had a child together. Once again, though, tragedy struck as the two separated and moved towards a divorce in 2006. The divorce proceedings got nasty early, and the ultimate solution will leave a lasting emotional scar on both parties.

Overall, McCartney's accomplishments and talents could fill its own entire series of books. He remains a social crusader for many causes, and he is still active on the music scene. Paul McCartney tickets are a chance to see not only a musical, but a cultural and historical icon. <bio>Written by Jay Nault, sponsored by http://www.stubhub.com/ .
John Winston Ono Lennon, MBE (9 October 1940 -- 8 December 1980) was an iconic 20th century composer and singer of popular music with Paul McCartney as Lennon McCartney throughout the 1960s, and was the founding member of The Beatles.

Lennon's songwriting was an integral part of The Beatles' profound commercial and critical impact. His melodies, written during the Lennon-McCartney era, and later, in his solo career, are distinctive and unashamedly romantic.

Lennon's lyrics reflected his personal and career demands, philosophical outlook, his unease with his fame and current events. He and McCartney popularized the use of electronic effects in rock music.

Lennon, on television and in films such as A Hard Day's Night (1964), and by press conferences and interviews, revealed his rebellious, iconoclastic nature and quick, irreverent wit. Lennon channeled his fame and penchant for controversy into his work as a peace activist, artist and author. He was murdered in New York City in December 1980.

In 2002, the BBC polled the British public about the 100 Greatest Britons of all time. Respondents voted Lennon into eighth place.

Lennon had a profound influence on rock 'n' roll and in expanding the genre's boundaries during the 1960s. He is widely considered, along with McCartney, to be one of the most influential singer-songwriter-musicians of the 20th century.

Many of the songs written exclusively or primarily by Lennon, however, are more introspective -- often in the first person -- and more personal than McCartney's.

His most surreal pieces of songwriting, "Strawberry Fields Forever" and "I Am the Walrus", are examples of his unique style. Lennon's partnership in songwriting with McCartney involved him - many times - in complementing and counterbalancing McCartney's upbeat positive outlook with the other side of the coin, as one of their songs, "Getting Better" demonstrates.

Lennon had a profound influence on rock 'n' roll and in expanding the genre's boundaries during the 1960s.
Adidas is a name that has a thunderous ring in the sports industry. Primarily focusing on the manufacture of clothing and shoes that appeal to athletes, professional sports stars, and the hobbyists alike, this German company was able to soon dominate the market with its superior products. Even though financial scandals netted the company some less than flattering headlines in the 1980s and 1990s, the quality of Adidas shoes, clothing, warm up gear, and jogging apparel are too superior to other brands and the apparel giant was able to simply slough off the bad press by separating itself from those who caused the headlines.

In what many consider a stroke of genius, Adidas entered into a highly successful partnership with Stella McCartney =96 yes, she is the daughter of the Sir Paul McCartney =96 who has built a reputation not on her parentage but on her ability to design clothing and fashion accoutrements that are highly sought after. Designing jackets for the Adidas store, she even has fashioned one of them to read "suitable for sporty vegetarians" which adds contemporary style to athletic chic.

With Adidas, you will most likely be impressed by their wide selection of shoes. Adidas shoes, whether you are looking for the famous Adidas soccer shoes or the Adidas running shoes, are probably some of the most recognized footwear in the world. The Adidas 1 is the new flagship of the line; it incorporates the use of a microprocessor to impart the ultimate comfort and support to its wearer.

At this point in time, Adidas soccer sponsorships have made the brand visible and the Adidas classics, the NBA jackets, and the Adidas superstar collection have brought many new customers into the stores. Considered retro by some, the Adidas originals and even some of the well used Adidas jackets are flying off the shelves in the specialty stores and even eBay has begun to exhibit more and more collectible Adidas wear. Giving back to the community, the company sponsors the Ateneo de Manila University team as well as a number of American teams.

Quite possibly a revolutionary program that the company has unveiled is Mi Adidas. While the idea of customizing articles used during athletic endeavors is not new, the fact that an athlete can now adapt a shoe to fit her or his personal footwear needs is indeed new and in the past carried with it a hefty price tag. Yet by allowing this process to be offered to athletes worldwide via the Internet, the sheer amount of consumer demand has permitted the prices to remain lower than you would expect and it is this spectacular service that sets apart Adidas from the rest of the sportswear manufacturers and showcases its commitment to the serious athlete and the novice sports man or woman alike. <bio>Todd Winslow is a freelance editor for Adidas Coupon Cart.
With the right shoes, you will be more comfortable and have more control over your body when running, jogging, jumping, sliding, or landing. Quality sports shoes should offer cushioned support in the front, sides, and heel so your foot absorbs the least amount of shock as possible. Adidas is famous for offering shoes that can give you this support and more. Whether you are shooting hoops, running bases, or trying to make a goal on the soccer or lacrosse fields, the right pair of shoes can give you an edge. Adidas shoes have been tested time and time again on professional and amateur playing fields by those who are serious about their game.

Adidas is an established company that manufacturers shoes and other clothing, as well as warm up gear, jogging gear, and gear that is designed for the specific sport that you are playing. This means that athletes can find Adidas soccer clothing or shoes, as well as Adidas classics, which will be the good old fashioned Adidas that you are looking for. When viewing sporting goods items, you'll find lots of different things, such as NBA gear, Adidas superstar gear, and other kinds of Adidas shoes, such as Adidas soccer shoes, Adidas running shows, or even Adidas originals. You can also find the clothing and gear you want, like an Adidas jacket, or Didas by Stella McCartney. The company is know for their comfortable and quality products.

Adidas is also well known for their clothing line. Everything from warm up gear to Adidas soccer clothing is manufactured. Choosing the right workout clothing is almost as important as finding the right shoes. Workout clothing should be comfortable, allow you to sweat easily, and protect you from rain and other weather conditions. An Adidas jacket can be worn over t-shirts and other gear. Thus, saying that workout gear is not only appropriate for the gym. If you are a basketball fan or you know someone who is, buying jerseys and other items can make a great gift. Accessories include bags, visors, and hats.

Being sure you are clothed with proper shoes and proper clothing is one of the most important aspects to being active and successful in sports. Having uncomfortable shoes and clothing can only inhibit your abilities and distract you from your goals and successes as an athlete. Therefore, be certain you take proper care to ensure you are wearing the most appropriate clothing and shoes for you and your sport. <bio>Todd Winslow is a freelance editor for Adidas Coupon Cart.
Have you heard about the big milk controversy? Outspoken spokesperson for The Vegetarian and Vegan Foundation, Heather Mills McCartney (soon to be x-wife of singer Paul McCartney) is bringing the dangers of modern milk to attention of the press.

"As Heather Mills McCartney speaks out about the health problems associated with dairy products, physicians and nutritionists with the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) are urging U.K. consumers to try an experiment: Eliminate milk and other dairy products from their diet for three weeks to experience firsthand the health benefits of a dairy-free diet," according to a PR Newswire release.

Although I don't agree with a lot of what Heather Mills McCartney believes, I do agree with the the facts. Homogenized pasteurized milk causes many health problems. Despite the fact that the dairy industry, with their money and power, want you to think otherwise.

The problem isn't with milk. Dairy products have been a major part of many cultures' diets for thousands of years. Many people and races throughout history have lived almost solely on milk and dairy products, and have been extremely healthy for it. But the dairy products we have in our grocery stores now are very different than the dairy products consumed by people in the past.

The problem today is how we get our dairy products and how they are processed. Modern dairy cows are exposed to hormones, antibiotics, and pesticides, and fed a diet of high-protein soy and grain based feed instead of traditional grass feeding methods.

And then the milk they produce is homogenized, which alters the organic structure so the cream will blend into the milk. Unfortunately the new smaller fat particles don't work well in our bodies, and can get into the blood stream. There is a very high correlation between countries that drink homogenized milk and the rise of atherosclerosis.

Pasteurizing milk is heating it until it is a dead food with little or no benefit to us. It is robbed of its enzymes and many of its vitamins. Today's milk is know to cause allergic reactions in many individuals, because of the lack of enzymes needed to process the milk in our bodies. Enzymes are killed when they are heated to temperatures over 120 degrees F.

The modern milk produced now is something highly processed and unnatural. If that isn't enough, when they make 1% and 2% milk, they add non-fat dried milk to these products to lower the fat percentage. Non-fat dried milk is ultra-processed, which oxidizes the cholesterol. Rancid (oxidized) cholesterol and fats are also what promote heart disease. Dried milk contains a very high nitrite content as well.

You will be hearing more and more about the dangers of modern milk. If you want safe healthy milk, try organic, raw milk from grass fed cows. Raw milk still has all its nutrients and enzymes, and many people have found it helpful for allergies, asthma problems and other health conditions.

My challenge to you is instead of eliminating milk products for three weeks, switch to organic raw milk products for three weeks. Once you try it, and experience the benefits and taste for yourself, you won't go back to the imitation grocery store stuff! For more information on the benefits and safety of raw milk visit the site at http://www.realmilk.com..

This article may be freely copied as long as it is not modified and this resource box accompanies the article, together with working hyperlinks. <bio>Dianne's FREE ebook, reveals the secrets of people who are losing weight and getting healthier with coconut oil at http://Coconut-Oil-Diet.com . He ended his term there in 1957, and one year later he transferred to the House of Patou. He also worked as a freelance designer at Krizia. From the period of 1959 to 1978, he worked for Chloe, and it was during that time when he started designing delicate furs for the Fendi collection. Realizing that he can support his own needs as a fashion designer, he decided to establish his own company in 1975 under the name Parfums Lagerfeld.

From 1975 to 1978, Karl Lagerfeld worked with supports coming all sides. But at the latter period of 1978, he started designing his own collection of fashion items independently. That venture lasted in 1982 however, when he decided to make designs for the House of Chanel. He mastered the art of haute couture, and with Gilles du Four helping him in realizing all his responsibilities, he was able to add the ready to wear garments of Chanel to his own fashion list.

Although Karl Lagerfeld continued his career with the House of Chanel, he was again able to establish his own lines of fashion items and accessories in 1984. He resumed his term with Chloe in 1992, but he again quit in 1997 when a new management took Chloe's house. It was Stella McCartney, Paul of Beatles' daughter, who took the new management. Recently, Karl Lagerfeld is doing designs for three big fashion firms, including Chanel, Fendi, and his own label.

Speaking of designs, Karl Lagerfeld's line of fashion products and accessories are all noted for their dramatic and structural touches. The designs are crafted for women though, and most appear in black and white color. Two of the most notable lines he created are the Wunderbra and the Wundercorset, both were introduced in 1994.

Karl Lagerfeld, although he has made his name in the field of fashion, is also a known photographer. It was him who took his own press photos, and because of that the press named him as "Kaiser Karl". His trademarks present three catchy details: a long ponytail for his white hair, sunglasses, and a fan. Noted under his trademarks are two major products: the KL and Karl Lagerfeld couture.

Other Notable Facts: Karl Lagerfeld, in 1996, made a license to produce a line of lingerie and beachwear. He was working with Furstenberg, a German lingerie expert, but this partnership ended after making just a single season due to conflicts of opinions and interests. Recently, the company is dealing with Tommy Hilfiger in the creation and production of a small, affordable fashion line. Karl Lagerfeld truly is an accomplished designer, having worked with many of the top fashion labels and contributing a great deal to the fashion field, he deserves all the credit to his name. <bio>James Philips is a staff member at http://www.perfumecenter.com </bio>

Perfumes are an essential part of our everyday life. They were first used in Egypt, but are now used throughout the world for different reasons.

Perfumes come in different varieties, concentrations, fragrances, bottles and rates. Perfumes are usually a solution of fragrant aromatic oils and a solvent like ethanol. They are mixed in different proportions to create different intensity of scents. The commonly used eau de cologne has 2-5% of aromatic oil. These aromatic oils are extracted from various natural and synthetic sources to create several kinds of fragrances.

By mixing different oils, scents like floral, oriental, woody, fresh, leather, chypre and fourgere are created. Major brands of designer perfumes are available to all over the world, such as YSL, Estee Lauder, Dolce Gabbana, Chanel, Calvin Klein, Christian Dior, Hugo Boss, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Salvador Dali, Stella McCartney, Victoria Secret and many more. All of them come in exquisite packaging and bottles.

There are many types of perfumes: for the body, bath, car, house, office, etc. All have different concentrations of aroma oils. Perfumes have become so common that we use them daily without giving a second thought. Perfumes can lift your mood and make you feel positive. The way you smell also has a marked impact on the people around you and the way they treat you. If your lively personality is complemented by a pleasant fragrance, it can change your life and of those around you drastically.

Perfumes have tremendous power to influence emotions. Aroma oils used in perfumes can trigger emotions like love, hatred, passion, activity, hunger, etc. They can even bring back the happy or sad memories of the past. You should wear the perfume that makes you happy and makes you feel good and fresh.

To pick the perfume that suits you the best, think about the fragrances that you like. They could range from floral, citrus, woody, musk, leather, etc. You should select different perfumes for casual wear and formal wear. The daily wear perfumes could be more sporty type while the party wear ones can have more sophisticated scents. You can have different perfumes for different occasions. Remember that the perfumes that you like on others may not suit you as favorably. A single perfume can smell entirely different on different people, so while selecting your scent, try it out on yourself and let it stay for a day to know if you truly like it.

Today, everybody can be identified by the kind of perfume they wear. Because perfumes are available in all types of fragrances, suiting all pockets, everybody can afford one and make a statement by wearing it. People judge you by the kind of perfume you wear, so it is important that you select the one that suits your personality. Most celebrities have their signature fragrances.

Once you pick your fragrance do not change it often. Sense of smell helps in associating people with their fragrance. If you stick to one, people will know you have arrived and what mood you are in even without looking at you.

Perfumes make for a great gift, especially for women. When you run out of ideas for a suitable present for anybody old or young, perfumes are the safest bet. Whether it's a birthday, anniversary, Christmas, Thanksgiving or just any other occasion, you can rely on perfumes to delight the receiver.

But selecting the right fragrance for someone else is an ordeal in itself. Think about the scents that he or she likes and wears most of the time and try to stick to other perfumes similar to that fragrance. So, go ahead, take your pick. <bio>This article can also be accessed in portuguese language from the News Article section of page http://www.polomercantil.com.br/perfume-fragrancia.php Roberto Sedycias works as IT consultant for http://www.polomercantil.com.br </bio>

George Harrison is often referred to as the "quiet Beatle" and sometimes sadly even as the "forgotten Beatle" and that's due to the fact that he was in the same band as the greatest songwriting team in popular music history. Lennon/McCartney were good enough to overshadow almost anyone but that being the case Harrison wrote many great songs with The Beatles and that's what this article is set to highlight.

He was the youngest Beatle which explains his "late blooming" as a songwriter in comparison to his band mates John Lennon and Paul McCartney. When the Beatles recording session happened in January of 1970 Harrison was only 26 years old.

Harrison's best known Beatles compositions are probably his pair of tracks from the Beatles final album Abbey Road; "Here Comes the Sun" and "Something." And while these songs are certainly great and no doubt belong in the list of Harrison's best 10 Beatles songs I want to get past these tracks and other well known Harrison compositions like "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" from the White Album and "Taxman" from Revolver to get some of his more overlooked Beatles gems.

My picks for George Harrison's 10 Best Beatles Songs with notes on each:

"Something" - Frank Sinatra said "Something" was his favorite Lennon/McCartney composition and the greatest love song ever written. It's the second most covered Beatles song of all time after "Yesterday." It's been covered by the likes of Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, and James Brown. It made Rolling Stone magazine's list of the top 500 songs of all time in 2004.

"Here Comes The Sun" - One of the first songs to feature the Moog synthesizer which Harrison played on the recording. The song was written in Eric Clapton's garden. Clapton and Harrison were good friends.

"Taxman" - The opening track on the Revolver album features some short blistering guitar solos by Paul McCartney.

"While My Guitar Gently Weeps" - Although George Harrison was the Beatles lead guitarist he again gives the lead guitar duties to someone else on one of his best songs. A great example of Harrison's lack of ego. On this track Harrison's good friend Eric Clapton came in to play the lead guitar part. This song also made Rolling Stone magazine's 2004 list of the 500 greatest songs of all time. The lyrics of the song have a very interesting origination. Harrison was reading the I Ching at the time and inspired by the ideas in the book he decided to write a song based on the first words he read when opening a random book at a random spot. The first words he read were "gently weeps."

"It's All Too Much" - This song was originally featured on the Yellow Submarine album and is one of the more overlooked Harrison songs. It's also one of my favorites. It has a very unique sound to the recording which makes it sound like the whole band is in a box except for these thunderous hand claps and the vocals. It was actually recorded in May of 1967 before Sgt Pepper was released and was set to be included on Magical Mystery Tour but was instead pushed back and ended up on the Yellow Submarine soundtrack album which included mostly George Martin instrumentals and songs such as the title track which had already been released.

"Within You Without You" - This was George's sole contribution to Sgt Pepper. Harrison recorded this song with Indian musicians without any input from the other Beatles. I've often seen this song slagged off by people but to me it's an essential and wonderful part of the Sgt Pepper album. It's a trip within the trip that is Sgt Pepper. Almost all of the instruments in the song were played by classically trained Indian musicians.

"Long Long Long" - The perfect song to follow up "Helter Skelter" on the White Album. A beautifully understated song which Harrison says is about God.

"Blue Jay Way" - Harrison's sole contribution to the Beatles most over the top psychedelic album Magical Mystery Tour was also Harrison's most purposely psychedelic song. While the song is not perfect it does have a lot of strange production effects which endear it to me.

"If I Needed Someone" - This was the only Harrison written song that the Beatles played regularly during their touring days. This is of course mostly because the band stopped touring before Harrison wrote most of his better songs. This was one of two Harrison songs to be included on the Rubber Soul album. The other being "Think For Yourself" which is also a good song but I prefer this one. The song was heavily influenced by the style of The Byrds.

"I Want To Tell You" - This was one of three Harrison songs included on the Revolver album. Interestingly he went from having 3 songs on Revolver to only 1 on each of the next two Beatles albums; Sgt Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour.

George Harrison was a valuable member of the Beatles not only for his excellent lead guitar playing and the Indian influenced sounds he brought to the band but with his excellent songwriting. These are just 10 of Harrison's great Beatles songs there are others that also deserve mention such as "Old Brown Shoe," "Only A Northern Song," and "I Need You." <bio>Freddy R Bubble is a contributer to http://www.MusicByDay.com </bio>

No one can say no to a lover who is proposing during a cruise. You're like Romeo and Juliet struck in an amazing moment of pleasure, the only difference is you won't find yourself gasping for breath due to ship sinking. What's more if he proposes while on board a classic ship? Romance, love, affection and pleasures; every positive word that could enter your mind is exactly the feeling which will envelope you.

There are ships that were created long time ago, thus they project classic look. But wait, you need not to worry about being drowned or something because all of them are still highly functioning. Thus, people should be thankful these days that they are able to have a taste of how it is to live during older generation. However, because of the new SOLAS regulation which simply stand for Safety Of Life At Sea, cruising using these ships may no longer be possible in the nearing 2010. Now that you have still the time, grab the opportunity right ahead! A number of ships will be covered by this ordinance except the QE2.

Here are the lists of some ships that you can book a cruise:

MV Funchal

Known as the princess of the sea which would never fail to put a smile on every person who wishes to travel, it was created during 1961. Back then, it originally featured a black hull that contains yellow funnel with a little black lining. However, in the year 1973, the ship was subjected to a major change and the finish product is an all white yacht comparable to a cruise ship. Although it does not fall among the four and five star ships, still no one can deny the unusual experience that MV Funchal can give.

Doulos

Bookworms would definitely go crazy over this ship, not only does this provide a comfortable ride but it is jam-packed with literary pieces at a very reasonable price! Thanks to the group of students who created an organization to provide support to unfortunate individuals all across the globe. They call their goal as the Operation Mobilisation wherein they would bring educational literature to those who cannot afford the original price on common bookstores. A floating book fiesta indeed!

Stella Polaris

If you want to go back to the 30s then riding on this vessel would give you a ticket of how people back then operates. Originally, the ship was owned by Bergen Line. Usually, it can carry up to 200 passengers but since the crew would normally number up to 130, only a small number of tourists can board the ship. Just try to imagine what kind of service they are offering! Nowadays, it contains a haven of restaurants that people could still visit which leads the ship to be called as the Floating Restaurants of Scandinavia although the name Stella Polaris is still marked on her bows.

Romantica

Before the war begins, this boat together with her sister Orsono would sail Hamburg down to Carribean. During the war, it was changed into a submarine depot which later on headed straight to Norway to act as a supply ship of Germany. Outstandingly, the ship was able to survive all the bombing that the war provides. Through the years, it went to different processes of remodeling thus the passenger capacity increases into 773 passengers.<bio>PART 2 - For part two of this article, head on to Classic Ship where you can also get the best deals on a Carnival Cruise Line Ship vacation.</bio>

McCartney had always been interested in making his own cards and he first began by selling them through a small Toronto-based card company. Over time Regal Greetings and Gifts grew to form their own stores until 2005 when the business owners decided to restructure the company. Instead of being brick-and-mortar based, Regal is now a catalogue, e-commerce and direct sales company that makes its profits with the help of a base of Independent Sales representatives from across Canada.

Becoming a member of the Regal Greetings and Gift group can be done in two ways. You can be an Associate Member and order merchandise for your customer base (typically coworkers, friends and family) through a single account to get a bigger merchandise discount. If you don't mind dealing with the inventory, this is the best way for you to be a member of the Regal group. If you are looking to make money with Regal Greetings and Gifts, you can become an Independent Direct Selling Representative.

It is free to become an Independent Direct Selling Representative with Regal Greetings and Gifts. You can purchase a few catalogues if you think it will help your sales, but you aren't required to put down any money to get started with the company. Instead you simply earn a discount off of the goods that you sell. This means that, depending upon the monetary amount of your orders, you receive them at a discount--that you keep. It is sort of like earning a commission. You don't earn any money for orders until your order level totals more than a hundred dollars.

Here is how it works. You talk to your customers and take their orders. Then you turn around and place the orders with the company and distribute the merchandise when you receive it. When you sell between $100 and $449, you receive a fifteen percent discount off of the cost of your order and you get to keep the difference, which is between $15 and $52.20. If you sell between $450 and $999 you are given a twenty percent discount off of the merchandise and you keep $129.80.

The good news is that, once you are a member, you are given the support of the Regal Greetings and Gifts company. You will be given website and order support and training through the company website. The company provides you with a website to visit to learn how to drive sales, how to retain your customers, etc. The best part about this company is that they do not pressure you to make large commissions or recruit others to sell under you.

If you live in Canada, this is a very straightforward opportunity that is backed by a reputable business. Depending on your commitment and sales skill you could end quite lovely discounts and earn quite a nice living being an Independent Direct Selling Representative. Whatever decision you make we wish you the best of luck.<bio>You can read our Unbiased, expert review of Regal Greetings and Gifts from Brian Garvin and Jeff West at MLM Review Kings.
The music of The Beatles

The Beatles had a relatively short career by the standards of many of the bands of the era, many of which survive today. But in their decade of prominence their music followed an identifiable path that took in mainstream pop, psychedelia and some quite challenging arrangements. Analyzing sheet music of the Beatles reveals that even their early music, a blend of skiffle and rock 'n' roll, was far removed from the three-chord compositions of many of their contemporaries. Once notable feature of Beatles music is the ease with which it translates to different styles. Much of it retains its distinct feel regardless of whether it is being strummed on a guitar, played on a piano, automated on a sequencer or being performed by a complete orchestra. This is one measure of its quality.

Collaboration and mutual inspiration

Although Lennon and McCartney did indeed write and sing the lion's share of Beatles music, all four members contributed to the writing. Some of the most iconic songs were by George Harrison, including Something, Here Comes the Sun and While my Guitar Gently Weeps; and Starr's contribution in the form of Yellow Submarine and Octopus's Garden (among others) should not be overlooked. Glancing through the credits of the entire Beatles collection, however, will show just how much cross-fertilization and collaboration occurred in the creative heart of the band. In fact, it can come as a surprise how few were purely McCartney and Lennon creations as a percentage of the entire body.

Cover versions

Because of the undisputable quality that binds together every note of the Beatles' output, it comes as no surprise to see how often their songs have been covered by other artists. Whether it's Bowie doing Across the Universe, The Carpenters' Ticket to Ride, Oasis belting out I am the Walrus or Elvis Presley performing Yesterday, the songs' power survives many vocal and instrumental styles. In fact, anyone with a modicum of talent can cover The Beatles and end up with at least a passable rendition, be they sitting by a roaring campfire with a guitar, tinkling the ivories at a cocktail party, warming up a rock band or singing in the shower.

Beatles lyrics

The melodies and backing music of The Beatles guarantees it a listen, and is part of the universal success of the band. The lyrics are often not given the attention they deserve, however. Whilst probably not being as notable as would be the case in a Bob Dylan or Billy Bragg composition, most Beatles lyrics show a certain depth that is appropriate for the medium they were intended for =96 namely pop music =96 but reading them in sheet music can be quite surprising. There's plenty of dry humour, a sprinkling of wackiness, lots of heartfelt emotion and some psychedelic traces, especially in their later period. First and foremost The Beatles were a pop group extraordinaire, and their songs were intended to be sung, listened to and enjoyed, no doubt a throwback to their early days in Liverpool, but a successful formula none the less. <bio>Charlie Buquette wrote this article for Chappell of Bond Street ( http://www.chappellofbondstreet.co.uk ) about Beatles Sheet Music. </bio>

It's a question that always comes up when planning and budgeting for a trip. Is the extra expense necessary? Why not save on that premium and spend it on something fun instead? Sure, you could do that, but remember that the cost of purchasing travel insurance is miniscule compared with potentially catastrophic financial losses you could sustain if things go awry. For instance, if you were to break your leg skiing in the U.S. you could face a bill of anything from $5,000 to $50,000 (=A32,500-=A325,000) depending on how serious the break is and where you are treated.

California Governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, did break his leg skiing and was in hospital for five days at a rate of anything from $6,000-$9,000 per day - just for a room and the basics. Add to that the x-rays, tests, medications, physical therapy and crutches. That's all before paying for the expertise of a surgeon and anesthetist. The total bill could be anything from $10,000 to $16,000 per day! (=A35,000-=A38,000). There would be follow-up visits as well, but hopefully by then you would have been repatriated to the UK. Do you carry that sort of money in your back pocket - or would you prefer to have the peace of mind of travel insurance with winter sports coverage?

When the President of the United States travels he has an advance team of Secret Service agents to check everything he might come into contact with for security issues. They work out worst case scenarios, potential hazards, and emergency and evacuation plans. Unless you are someone very important you won't have the benefit of your own personal advance team!

Schools these days send out 'advance teams' of teachers to do security checks of accommodations and locations to be visited by children on school trips. Many children are being deprived of fun, educational and enlightening trips because teachers are scared to death of the liability and would rather avoid it. What if someone stubs their toe, or is emotionally traumatized when a bully brandishes a spider?

There are many crazy reasons why you have to get insurance these days. Pancake Races were canceled in several towns in the UK this year. For centuries people have simply grabbed a frying pan and run through their high streets tossing pancakes to the finish line. They even did it over cobble stone streets! Nowadays someone has to be liable if things go wrong=85 There have to be risk assessments, fees paid to local governments and paid medical personnel on hand - just in case.

To see some ridiculous instances of lack of personal responsibility look at the Stella Awards - which are given for the most frivolous lawsuits filed in the U.S. They were named after Stella Leibeck, the woman who famously sued McDonalds after she spilled hot coffee in her lap and sustained third degree burns. No mention that maybe it was a little, um, 'careless' to place scalding hot coffee between her legs in the first place. Her lawyers won a pay out of close to three million dollars, but a judge later restored a degree of sanity and reduced the amount to around $650,000. Another benefit of travel insurance is that, depending on the policy, it may carry liability benefits of up to =A32 million for accidental injury to third parties and property.

It's the accidents and unforeseen events we can't avoid that make travel insurance essential. Bags do get lost, people get sick and valuables are lost or stolen. You wouldn't dream of leaving your house or car uninsured, so why would you go on holiday without travel insurance?

Maybe we should enjoy our travels while we still can... If health and safety issues continue to shut down all our avenues of pleasure we may end up living inside bubbles and no longer have any need for travel insurance! <bio>Jean Andrews is a freelance writer living in the UK. She regularly contributes articles for TIA Ltd who offer travel insurance and quotes - http://www.travel-insurance.net/ </bio>

With so many different women's shoes available to buy, it is easy to get lost and not know which one's to go for. However, there are some which really come in handy. These include:

* Low Heeled Black Pumps

Whilst there are many times in our lives where we attend special occasions, most of the time we are preoccupied with our ordinary, everyday, uneventful lives. This means that we do not always need fancy, high-heeled shoes, however much we want to wear them!

Sometimes the low heeled black pumps are better for the more casual events in our lives, and they come in handy when strappy sandals are just simply not appropriate. Funerals are a classic example, or a business meeting. Most women own a pair of low heeled black pumps at some time in their lives and they really do come in handy!

* Black High Heeled Shoes

All women's shoe collections need a pair of black high heeled shoes in them! The color goes with literally every outfit and they make you look elegant yet sexy at the same time. The 'Stella' sling back sandal is a perfect example of a good Black High Heeled Shoe.

* Everyday Shoes

You need something to wear every single day and every woman is different so whilst one may prefer wearing sneakers, another may prefer flip flops. It all depends upon your individual style and preference.

* Warm Comfy Boots

Boots are great in winter and they really do help to keep your feet nice and snug and warm. There are some really fashionable ones to choose from these days and they go with literally all outfits from skirts to jeans.

Overall women's shoes come in all shapes and sizes and you should make sure that you have at least a few different pairs to match your various outfits.
With over a hundred years of experience manufacturing musical instruments, Yamaha is universally acknowledged as the producer some of the world's finest instruments. Yamaha started guitar production in the mid 1940's and from that day to this have produced a wide variety of guitars to fulfil the needs of all players, from beginner to enthusiast and on to professional.

In February of 1964 The Beatles appeared on the "Ed Sullivan Show" in the USA and at a stroke the music world was changed, the electric guitar was here to stay. In the wake of this Yamaha began producing solid body electric guitars at their Hamamatsu facility in 1965 and early models of both electric and electric bass guitars debuted in 1966.

By the mid 1970's legendary guitar artists such as Carlos Santana began to use Yamaha Guitars eschewing some of the great American brand names in favour of the unique features and superb build quality provided by these instruments. With the development of the SG2000 model in consultation with Carlos Santana, with it's through neck construction and patented "T-Cross System" and "Sustain Plate", Yamaha truly broke the mould, and in doing so the stranglehold of the two big American manufacturers. These innovations gave the instrument monumental sustain in conjunction with a powerful and warm tonality. With the ringing endorsement of legendary musicians such as Bob Marley, Steve Cropper, Phil Manzanera, and Carlos Rios, Yamaha's SG range of guitars had sealed their place amongst the elite manufacturers of electric guitars. From there on Yamaha Guitars have gone from strength to strength, not just producing the instruments we see being used by some of the worlds great guitar innovators, but also truly blazing a trail in the production of high quality, affordable instruments for beginners and intermediate players alike.

At the end of the 1980's Yamaha Guitar Development opened in North Hollywood, California. One of the first designs to come from there was the Pacifica series, this was a quantum leap for Yamaha Guitars, as it was an instrument designed and prototyped in the American custom shop with direct input from pro players. From this series there is a direct lineage to the entry level Yamaha guitars produced today. Today Yamaha provide a range of electric and bass guitars to cover all genres and to suit every pocket, so whether you aspire to the adrenaline fuelled world of hard rock, the smooth sophistication of jazz or anywhere in between there is something for you.

In the same way that the SG2000 took the electric guitar world by storm, in 1977 the release of the Yamaha "Broad Bass" or BB1200 bass guitar turned the world of bass guitarists upside down. Once again Yamaha were amongst the forerunners in the introduction of through neck construction, with it's enhanced sustain characteristics and inherent advantages in terms of stability. This coupled with peerless build quality made the BB basses an instant hit, with Paul McCartney himself playing a BB1200S in the early 1980's. To this day Yamaha's place in the world of bass has been ensured with great session players like Abraham Laboriel and Nathan East playing Yamaha Basses, alongside cutting edge artists such as Billy Sheehan, John Patitucci and John Myung. Once again the developments made with these wonderful musicians are put to good use in the instruments Yamaha make for beginners and intermediate players making for a great playing experience for all.

A brief look at some of the legendary names that have wielded Yamaha guitars and bass guitars gives you an idea of the exalted company you'll be keeping when you buy yours. Jimmy Page, Paul Simon, Bob Seger, James Taylor, John Denver, John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Bruce Springsteen, Brian May, Carlos Santana, Bob Marley, Lee Ritenour, Martin Taylor, Nathan East, Billy Sheehan, Michael Anthony... the list goes on. <bio>This article was written by Finn from Chappell of Bond Street.
Know any Twins. Then imagine they're one person and you'll have an idea of what makes up the personality of a person born under the sign of Gemini (May 22 =96 June 21). Geminis can be contradictory, people with dualities to their nature that can perplex their friends, families and lovers. They love versatility and change, but can be flighty and mutable to create interest in their lives. They don't like routine. Decisionmaking can be difficult for them and they can often change their minds http://www.eziness.info

In the Zodiac Great Year, the Age of Gemini occurred from about 6450-4300 BCE. It was a time when writing and accounting systems were developed and humans were beginning to trade with one another.

Geminis are kind, affectionate and generous, so long as this doesn't impact their own lives and comfort systems too much. They have a strong intellect and love mental challenges. They catch on to new ideas quickly. They have an analytical side and can see both sides to an issue.

If you're a Gemini, you have some interesting company in your birth sign. Some of the famous Geminis include President John F. Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe, Henry Kissinger, Joe Namath and Paul McCartney. Many members of royal families were born under the sign of Gemini, too. Queen Victoria, King George V and Prince William, all of England, were or are Geminis.

Boredom is a big issue for Geminis and they can get into trouble looking for some excitement. But they're very creative and active and should have outlets for all this energy like artistic projects or exercise or vigorous sports like racquetball. Because they're always looking for new and interesting experiences, they can tend to overindulge in food or drink or night life and club-hopping. Geminis need to remember to pace themselves or they could risk burning themselves out too early in life. <bio>http://www.directmails.info </bio>

As the low carb diet becomes so popular throughout the world, many companies especially the brewery companies have come to consider some of the necessary products for any sports and games, and interestingly, one of the essential products for any game trend is the low carb beer.

The emergence of the low carb beer is generally caused by the action that the beer industry has taken. Accordingly, the beer industry has responded to the low carb trend and that is by rolling out the low carb beers. The low carb beer is considered to have a reduced carb count, however, this does not ultimately mean as reduced flavor for the reason that it is all in your mouth.

In relation to that, it is noted that for years, the followers of Atkins diet and other low carb regimens have had to turn clear of beer for the purpose of maintaining the carbohydrate minimums. Now Michelob has made the some development in the brewery industry and have been enjoying a drink while following a low carb deit easier. And interestingly this was made perfect with the introduction of Michelob Ultra, a low carb, and low calorie beer.

Unlike the regular beer that contains 145 calories, the low carb beer contains for about 95 calories only that is why many reviews have considered it as a marketing trick. Speaking of the carbohydrates, when it comes to the low carb beers, the carbohydrates are another factor. Essentially, the regular beer usually contains 11 grams of carbohydrates, but then the low carb beers can in fact drop that to as little as 2.6 grams of carbohydrates. With such contents, a single bottle is then compared with some of the popular beers like Stella Artois, Grolsch, and Smirnoff Ice which have pretty much carbohydrates and calorie contents.

Today, given the facts about the basic contents of the low carb beers, it is noted that this certain product is now one of the requirements for any trendy game party. Perhaps, with this kind of product, all the girls will think that you're such a doll for taking their favorite low carb beer. And as a matter of fact, most of the guys nowadays think that having this kind of requirement makes you pretty cool and great.

And perhaps, one of the reasons that most people took this kind of product is that they are obviously health conscious. Well, the thought of bearing this product at your trendy party is just a typical thing. So if you want to have a cool party experience, then you go for the low carb beer. <bio>Check out http://www.lowcarbdomination.com for low carb recipes.
Meet the students A strange and diverse tribe, students date back to ancient times. They're out there in their millions but tricky to track down. Find out who they are, where they hang out and the opportunities they offer:

Rockus Maximus Who are they?

This genus is extremely fond of Pete Doherty, The Killers and regularly reads the NME.

What are they like? A bit scruffy, they went to university because they're not quite sure what they want to do in life (apart from headlining Glastonbury, obviously). Also identified as a 'procrastinator' (Mintel, 2004).

Where can they be found? When they're not downloading the latest Green Day track onto their iPod, they can be found lurking in dingy pubs, scouting Indie record shops to pick up rare promos or renting a DVD. Often nocturnal creatures, fond of smoking - how shall we say? natural remedies, they are among the half of all students who go to rock concerts.

Most likely to: Wear a Nirvana T-shirt ('It's history man, my dad loves them!')

Least likely to: Listen to The Cheeky Girls.

Marketing opportunities Rockus Maximus want to know about gigs, CD deals, beer promos, music festivals and where to find cheap Rizlas.

Urbanicus Fashionista Who are they? Most likely to be female, this small bird-like creature is set to be a high-achiever. Taking care of mind and body, they are among the 26% of students who take part in some form of sport or exercise at least once a week (Mintel 2004).

What are they like? Nicely-groomed, with clear, shiny skin, finished with a touch of lip-gloss in the day, but togged-up in their favorite number from the designer sales when they hit the town once a week. They like quality but are thrifty because they fear student debt. They try and budget, shopping around for interest-free credit cards to help manage their finances.

Could be one of Mintel's 'planners' (2004), believing a degree will enhance their career prospects.

Where can they be found? The gym, cocktail bars, the bookshop, the library, designer stores (just to get ideas) and high street fashion stores.

Most likely to: Wish they could afford Stella McCartney for Adidas' designer exercise gear.

Least likely to: Drink alcopops

Marketing opportunities Keep Urbanicus Fashionista fully-informed about bargain flights to Thailand, innovative bank accounts, Pilates classes, organic cafes and deals on facials.

Culture Vulturecalus Who are they? They are the approximate 30% of students (compared to 17% of non-students) who regularly visit art galleries and exhibitions. (Mintel, 2004)

What are they like? They are lively and engaging, probably quite noisy, and love discussion and debate about the latest cultural happening. The female of the species may well be among the 15% who attend contemporary dance performances.

Where can they be found? The cinema, the art gallery, the museum, the theatre or swanning around the cooler summer festivals, such as the Big Chill or Lost Vagueness. Nighttime sees them at a select club night hosted by a small up-and-coming breaks or hip hop label.

Most likely to: Try to blag their way into the local art gallery's latest private viewing or urban music event.

Least likely to: Do the 'big fish, little fish' dance on the podium at Ritzy's nightclub.

Marketing opportunities Attract this group with two-for-one theatre tickets, art gallery memberships, museum cafe discounts and student cinema offers.

Academius Geriatricus Who are they? This breed is the 10% of students that are 21+ and are more likely to be male. They could be a Workplace Refugee (Mintel, 2004), who has decided to come to university after working, wanting a degree in order to progress.

What are they like? On average, they have about £350 more cash over the academic year than younger students. There is a strong chance they have lived in London (DfES, 2002/03).

Where can they be found? Generally studying at one of the newer universities or working part-time in paid employment. They make the most of their course by researching in the lab, archive centre or library.

Most likely to: Have their old work suit from Next hanging in the wardrobe and regularly brush their hair and clean their teeth.

Least likely to: Hang out with the school-leavers in the student union.

Marketing opportunities Those who market postgraduate courses, bookshop discount days and properties to rent could be targeting this group with their services.

I-am-mad-i-am-icus Who are they? They want to get a degree with minimum fuss, while thoroughly enjoying themselves and making the most of the university social scene.

What are they like? Jolly, nobody's as nuts or up-for-it as they are, you should have seen them at the clubs in Ibiza or Ayia Napa this summer.

Where can they be found? Attending every Freshers' Week event, at the hilarious 'school disco' in the student union or making the most of cheap shot deals at the local pub chains in town.

Most likely to: Apply to Big Brother (male) or FHM Magazine's High Street Honeys (female).

Least likely to: Be a wallflower.

Marketing opportunities Freshers' week events, cheap club entry, novelty condoms and drinks promotions will all attract their attention.

Geekus Spectacalus Who are they? Commonly translated from the Latin as 'geek' this academia lover probably excels at maths or science. They were always expected to go to university as the next logical step and so fit into Mintel's category 'Production Liners' (2004).

What are they like? Very shy around potential mating partners, not too hot on the old fashion sense, but always happy to explain the latest techno-wizardry to a fellow student.

Where can they be found? More likely to be a student at the 'older universities', go to the cinema, sci-fi conventions or the student dating agency.

Most likely to: Remember how to do long division.

Least likely to: Enjoy extreme sports.

Marketing opportunities Geekus spectaculus loves a gadget, computer fair, book sale or extra-curricular lecture event. <bio>Article provided by promotional and business print specialists http://www.facemediagroup.co.uk.. </bio>
