<content:encoded><![CDATA[ One of the most important considerations for any auto repair shop is the handling and treatment of toxic chemicals such as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chemical+solvents" rel="tag">chemical solvents</a>, paints, and coolants. It is vital under US Law that certain chemicals be properly treated and there are severe penalties that can be imposed by the EPA for failure to properly handle toxic materials. It is a requirement for any facility that handles solvents to properly deal with their disposal when no longer required, and the best way that this can be achieved is through the use of a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solvent+recovery+system" rel="tag">solvent recovery system</a>. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/recycling+solvents" rel="tag">Recycling solvents</a> is both an environmentally, and economically sensible measure to take. The prevention of any chemicals getting out into the wild is a responsibility that all right thinking members of society share, while the ability to drive down acquisition costs by recycling and reusing waster products makes a lot of sense to any business. <br /><br /> Quite simply, a solvent recovery system works by taking the chemicals that have been used, whether in cleaning, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/thinning+paint" rel="tag">thinning paint</a>, or any number of other purposes that they are required for in a workshop, and then removing the impurities. Most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solvent+recovery+systems" rel="tag">solvent recovery systems</a> also act as a cleaner, combining the jobs of removing the solvent from any tools and other items, and then treating it in order to make it ready to be used once again. <br /><br /> Pretty much any item that you use in the workshop can be cleaned using a solvent recovery system. From auto parts through to HVLP spray <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/paint+guns" rel="tag">paint guns</a>, anything that needs solvents to clean can be popped into the machine, and then it will be handled properly from start to finish. <br /><br /> One of the most popular models currently available on the market is the sidewinder solvent recovery system. This tool, which is made by Nevada based Persyst Enterprises has been the staple of many auto shops since its first release. What has made it such a successful model is its reliability, coupled with its easy to use fully automated cleaning and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/recycling+system" rel="tag">recycling system</a>. <br /><br /> The Sidewinder solvent recovery system can simply be loaded with your tools at the end of a job, then switched on and left. It will clean the tools, separate the solvents, and then when the process is complete, it will turn itself off. When you return to it, you will have your tools clean and ready to use, and all the cleaning solvent recycled and usable. <br /><br /> Although the initial outlay for a solvent recovery system may seem quite high, when it is offset against the cost of repeatedly purchasing expensive solvents, and then also paying for the waste products to be properly disposed of, not to mention the reduction in your environmental foot print caused by recycling waste rather than simply dumping it, the price soon seems like a bargain. <br /><br /> There are numerous different solvent recovery systems available. These range in price from around $1,000 right up to almost $5000. However, it is important not to simply go for the cheapest model and hope for the best, as different versions of the basic solvent recycler are required for different purposes. <br /><br /> While a basic model like the Spraymax UNRUG3000DA seems like a great purchase thanks to its price of around $1000, it is not suitable for larger workshop environments, and is really designed only for cleaning small items such as a pair of paint guns and their cups. Although it does do a great job on these, and has them ready to use again in less than a minute, making it the perfect tool for a small paint shop. <br /><br /> At the other end of the market you get a great deal more flexibility in the products that you buy, and larger solvent recyclers are able to handle much bigger jobs including being able to clean large mechanical parts quickly and efficiently. The SprayMax UNRURS900EP2 solvent recovery system features a 6 gallon cleaning well that will be able to handle the biggest parts in one go. It has a fully automated cleaning cycle, and a twin pump system that will allow you to have dirty used solvent go in through one, and recycled, clean, and ready to use solvent come out of the other end. It is also fully air tight in operation, meaning that there are no unpleasant fumes when it is working. <br /><br /> Thanks to the ever increasing environmental legislation from the EPA that is required to protect the natural world, it is ever more incumbent for any responsible business to take action to improve their own use of resources. The most important purchases that a business can make are the ones that will save it money in the long run, as these are the investments in the future that allow for further growth. solvent recovery systems are a tool that will pay for themselves a thousand times over, not just in the reduced operating costs that you get from reusing the same products again, but also by the knowledge that as a business, by using a solvent recovery system you are doing your bit to protect the world outside your workplace. <bio>Jason has been in the construction equipment and industrial sales business for over 10 years. <content:encoded><![CDATA[It is no question that Celtic <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jewelry+piece" rel="tag">jewelry piece</a>s have long stood the test of time in terms of beauty and craftsmanship. It has become the most popular choice among men and women who are looking to give their special someone something to show them how important they are. Considering the amount of hard work and the deep meaning associated with this, it is only right that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/celtic+jewelry" rel="tag">Celtic jewelry</a> pieces are given just the right kind of care to make sure that it lasts forever. Here are some tips on how to care for your Celtic <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jewelry+pieces" rel="tag">jewelry pieces</a>.<br><br>Get a Good Cleaning Solvent<br><br>Do not just use any <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/metal+cleaning" rel="tag">metal cleaning</a> solvent to clean your Celtic jewelry piece. Most Celtic jewelry pieces are crafted in silver. Although this may not be as precious when compared to gold or platinum, it is more prone to discoloration. Water and moisture are the primary culprits for this. The chemicals that make up silver, when it comes into contact with water and moisture, cause it to become cloudy and eventually blacken. For something as priceless as a Celtic jewelry piece, it does not hurt to invest a few dollars to get a cleaning solvent that is specially designed to clean <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/silver+jewelry" rel="tag">silver jewelry</a>. Just make sure that you follow the instructions carefully and pay attention to the warning labels. This is because these <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cleaning+solvents" rel="tag">cleaning solvents</a> are also made out of chemicals which are specially designed to remove the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dirt+and+grime" rel="tag">dirt and grime</a> that had collected onto the Celtic jewelry piece.<br><br>Clean Celtic Jewelry Pieces before Storage<br><br>Just because there is no apparent dirt or discoloration on your Celtic jewelry piece that is visible, it does not mean that you should not clean these on a regular basis. Make sure at the end of the day before you keep your Celtic jewelry pieces that you clean these first. This is because as we use the Celtic jewelry pieces throughout the day, it is exposed to moisture from the air as well as from our skin. This does not mean that you would need to use your cleaning solvent all the time. In fact, this is highly discouraged because the chemicals in the solvent strips away minute layers of the silver that has been corroded. Most jewelry stores do sell cloths that have been treated with this same chemical which you can use on your Celtic jewelry piece on a regular basis.<br><br>Properly Store Your Celtic Jewelry Pieces<br><br>By this, we mean to say to make sure that the jewelry case where you store your Celtic jewelry piece is properly lined to minimize the chances of your Celtic jewelry piece to be scratched, especially for large pieces such as pendants and bracelets. It would also minimize the chances for your Celtic jewelry pieces to become deformed and warped.<br><br>Schedule an Appointment with your Local Jeweler<br><br>With the amount you will be spending on your Celtic jewelry piece, it is just but right to let the local jeweler where you purchased this to do a complete clean up on your favorite jewelry piece. Doing this once or twice a year would be greatly beneficial. Most, if not all, local jewelry store include a lifetime cleaning service and even warranty for your Celtic jewelry. This means that you will not only be able to have your Celtic jewelry piece spotlessly clean. Any scratches or deformities that have appeared on your Celtic jewelry can be remedied and fixed, making your Celtic jewelry piece look good as new.<bio>Caring for your <a href="http://www.irishindeed.com/browse.cfm/2,600.html" title="Irish Jewelry">Irish Jewelry</a> just got easier thanks to Irish Indeed. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/essential+oils" rel="tag">Essential oils</a> are used in perfumes, in aromatherapy, in creams and lotions and for many other purposes where pleasant aromas are needed. Several methods are used to extract essential oils from flowers and other <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/plant+material" rel="tag">plant material</a>. Essential oil makes up only a very small percentage of the plant or flower so a large amount of plant material is needed to produce a small amount of oil. More than a hundred pounds may be needed to produce an ounce of oil. Some flowers are also too delicate to use the easier methods and more time consuming and expensive methods must used. Essential oils can be expensive but they are very concentrated. Most recipes only require a few drops so a small bottle will last for a long time.<br><br>Steam Distillation<br><br>Steam distillation is used for the majority of essential oil production. Pressurised steam is passed through flowers or other plant material spread on screens inside a still. The oils are absorbed by the steam which is then passed into another chamber and cooled. On condensing the oil floats on the top of the water and is skimmed off. The water remaining is not wasted as it contains small amounts of the oil and can be used for toners and facial mists. As it is not as concentrated as the essential oils <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/floral+water" rel="tag">floral water</a> can be used by people who are sensitive to essential oils.<br><br><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solvent+extraction" rel="tag">Solvent Extraction</a><br><br>For flowers or plants too delicate to use <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/steam+extraction" rel="tag">steam extraction</a> solvent extraction is often used. A solvent, usually hexane, is repeatedly passed over the plant material on mesh trays. The oils, along with other <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/soluble+substances" rel="tag">soluble substances</a>, are absorbed by the solvent which is then filtered and the resulting solution distilled under low pressure to remove the solvent. The material left, called a concrete, is a waxy solid containing the essential <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/oils+and+waxes" rel="tag">oils and waxes</a> and pigments from the plants. Further processing is then carried out to extract the oils and waxes from the concrete. The concrete itself can also be used as a perfume and the waxes are used in lotions, creams and in candle making.<br><br>Enfleurage<br><br>For flowers or plants that have very low levels of essential oils, jasmine for instance, a different method must be used. Flowers are placed into odourless vegetable oil and left for a few days before being replaced by fresh material. Fresh flowers are repeatedly placed in the vegetable oil until it is saturated with the oil from the flowers. Alcohol is then used to extract the essential oil from the vegetable oil. When the alcohol is evaporated the pure essential oil is left. This process takes a long time and a large amount of plant material and the resulting oil is very expensive.<br><br>Cold Pressing<br><br>For citrus oils, where the oil is extracted from the fruit rather than the flowers cold pressing is used. This entails rolling the fruit between spiked projections which pierce the peel and then squeezing the fruit to extract the juices which contain the oil. The resulting juice is then centrifuged to separate the oil.<br><br>Carbon Dioxide Extraction<br><br>In this method carbon dioxide is used to extract the oil. A high pressure is achieved by pumping the gas into a chamber containing the plant material. As the pressure increases the gas liquifies and acts as a solvent. The essential oils are extracted into the liquified carbon dioxide which is then passed into another chamber where the pressure is released. The carbon dioxide vapourises leaving behind the essential oil.<br><br>No residues are left behind and the extract is very pure with a clean and fresh aroma. As the temperature used is much lower than that used for steam distillation, oil can be extracted from delicate flowers that are destroyed by steam distillation.<br><br>Steam Diffusion Extraction<br><br>This method is similar to steam extraction but the steam is introduced into a chamber with the plant material at atmospheric pressure rather than at high pressure. It is a gentler method and can be used for more delicate flowers and plants.<bio>For recipes using essential oils and some easy craft ideas visit <a href="http://hobbycraftnews.com/">Easy Hobby Craft Ideas</a> or <a href="http://hobbycraftnews.com/2008/08/24/recipes-for-rosewater" >Recipes for Rosewater - Facial Cleansers</a></bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Get Rid of Carpet Stains <br /><br /> Getting stains on your carpet is a problem. Getting them off doesn't have to be. <br /><br /> However, when it comes to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/removing+carpet+stains" rel="tag">removing carpet stains</a>, there are certain rules that you will need to follow. To go technical in your efforts should be your last resort. <br /><br /> You may try a few <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/simple+steps" rel="tag">simple steps</a> first before trying the more advanced and expensive way. <br /><br /> There are certain steps to take in removing those stains from your carpet. These steps may be simple, but they will surely resolve many things before you can even take any further action. <br /><br /> Well, the first thing to do, which is also the wisest, is to prevent any spill from becoming a stain. While it is still a "spot," work out on it instead of exerting greater efforts after it has settled as a stain. Remember, stains are more permanent and they will require more procedures. <br /><br /> Stain-proof <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/carpets" rel="tag">Carpets</a> <br /><br /> Some companies introduce stain-proof carpets. The question is, "Os there really such a thing?" Well, most experts say that such carpets are not yet invented. Yes, it is true that many modern-day carpets are stain-resistant; however, they are not stain-proof. The quality of being stain-resistant only means the stain will not immediately settle and you will be granted a longer period of time to remove it. <br /><br /> Getting the Pain-staking Stains Out <br /><br /> Rubbing either spots or stains on a carpet is a big no-no. Doing this thing will only worsen the situation. What you have to do is blot it up with a dry white paper. Using <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dry+cotton" rel="tag">dry cotton</a>, sponge or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wool+cloth" rel="tag">wool cloth</a> is an option. By using any of these materials, what you will do is push it down or press it on the spot or stain so soak it up. <br /><br /> Such effort will get the liquid out on your carpet. However, avoid rubbing it because by doing so, it will only spread further and removing it will be more pain-staking. <br /><br /> If this method failed to remove the stain, you will have to bring along a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wet+sponge" rel="tag">wet sponge</a> or wool cloth this time; but instead of just pressing, try to dab it in a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/circular+motion" rel="tag">circular motion</a>. This should work. But then, if it didn't, you may dissolve a small amount of soap into the water that you will use for dabbing. <br /><br /> For semi-solid to solid stains, like jelly and other sandwich spread, the first step to take is scoop the excess with a spoon. This should be done carefully, lest, there is a risk of spreading the stain. If the stain has hardened or dried out because you were not able to see it at once, you will need to break it up first before cleaning it with a vacuum. Afterwards, you may clean the remaining spot up using the above mentioned methods. <br /><br /> If the stain proved to be so tough that it has started to become a pain in the neck, it is the ultimate sign that you will now have to use solvents or any cleaning solution to deal with it. You may choose the right solvent depending on the type of stain which will be removed. <br /><br /> Place a small amount of solvent on a clean piece of cotton and dab it on the stain. From outside, press the cotton harder so that it can work its way inside. Extract the excess solvent by blotting it up with a dry cotton or cloth before rinsing it with water. <br /><br /> Never forget to blot away the excess solvent because it can cause damage to the carpet and will make the color to fade out. Blot the excess water up also. Repeat the process until the whole stain is extracted. For best results, you may use a shop-vac to extract the excess solvent and water from the carpet. <br /><br /> Finishing Touches <br /><br /> Test the treated portion of the carpet by pressing a clean part of the cloth on it. If no more stain will go with it when you move it away, then it means you made it. The final step should be drying up the carpet as quickly as possible. You may do so by placing a paper towel on the wet spots or blowing a fan for an hour or so. <bio>Angela Mercer explains vacuum cleaner pros and cons at <a href="http://www.vacuumratings101.com" >http://www.vacuumratings101.com</a> and also at <a href="http://www.vacuumratings101.com/bagless-vacuum-cleaners.html" >http://www.vacuumratings101.com/bagless-vacuum-cleaners.html</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Give your wood floor a makeover by giving it a new finish. It might be a little tricky at first, but apply the finish yourself is something you can do. At <a href="<a href="http://www.floormakeover.com">http://www.floormakeover.com</a>"><a href="http://www.floormakeover.com">http://www.floormakeover.com</a></a> you will find detailed application tips. There are four major types of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wood+floor+finishes" rel="tag">wood floor finishes</a> you can use. <br /><br /> Oil Finishes <br /><br /> Oil finishes are easy to apply and generally the most used. They are <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solvent+base" rel="tag">solvent base</a> polyurethane and most dry in about 8 hours. You need to work in a well ventilated area and know these finished grow slightly darker with age. <br /><br /> Water Based Finishes <br /><br /> Water urethane finishes are clear when they dry. They are fairly expensive but dry completely in under 2 hours. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/moisture+cure" rel="tag">Moisture Cure</a> Finishes <br /><br /> These are another solvent base polyurethane like oil based but moisture cure finishes are more durable and moisture resistant than any other type of finish. You can usually find these in satin or glossy to have more control over the appearance of your wood floor after you refinish. This types of finish is very difficult to apply properly without experience. <br /><br /> Penetrating Stain or Wax <br /><br /> This <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/type+of+wood" rel="tag">type of wood</a> floor finish works by penetrating into the wood and hardening into a protective coating. Wax finishes are great because they wear only as the wood wears. Wax will not scratch or chip either. The only real drawback is the maintenance is a bit higher than other finishes. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/aluminum+oxide" rel="tag">Aluminum Oxide</a> <br /><br /> This is the newest type of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wood+flooring" rel="tag">wood flooring</a> finish available. It provides a very durable coating that lasts longer than other floor finishers. <br /><br /> It is best to educate yourself about the type of wood flooring you have before choosing a finish as some work better depending on the type of wood they are applies to. You should be able to go to the website of the manufacturer of your wood flooring to find out any specifics you need. <bio>Michelle Winters specializes in wood floor finishing and care. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/aromatherapy" rel="tag">Aromatherapy</a> is an increasingly accepted form of healing the body and mind through pure <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/essential+oils" rel="tag">essential oils</a>. Scoffed on as recently as a decade ago, aromatherapy is now used in many parts of the globe. The essential oils used in aromatherapy are products of volatile plant essences and their derivative aromatic molecules. The most common method that aromatherapy uses to capture these essential oils is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/steam+distillation" rel="tag">steam distillation</a>. <br /><br /> Essential oils, in contrast to the more common cooking oils such as vegetable oil, are very concentrated. If someone were to apply an essential oil to their skin she or he would have to first dilute it. <br /><br /> Aromatherapy uses these pure essential oils to affect the body's <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/parasympathetic+nervous+system" rel="tag">parasympathetic nervous system</a> through its <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/limbic+system" rel="tag">limbic system</a>. Another positive side effect of this aromatherapy essential oil procedure is to fight bacteria. <br /><br /> Because essential <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/oil+distillation" rel="tag">oil distillation</a> using steam, other methods are hydrodistillation, cold press, carbon dioxide conversion and through the use of phytols or florasols. <br /><br /> Hydrodistillation, similar to steam distillation of essential oils, simply uses water instead of steam for its aromatherapy production. The steam, once distilled, is chilled in a dispenser especially made for this aromatherapy process. Essential oils rise to the top of the mixture during this <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/distillation+process" rel="tag">distillation process</a>. The first form of aromatherapy essential oil processing, hydrodistillation requires a watchful eye all through its production. The still must not run dry and the contents must not overheat. The result of either mistake would be useless essential oils. <br /><br /> In the third aromatherapy production method carbon dioxide gets converted to liquid from its initial gaseous state. This is accomplished by subjecting it to high pressure. The resulting liquid solvent is inert and very safe. Aroma molecules of essential oils are extracted when the carbon dioxide is liquefied. The most advantageous form of aromatherapy processing, the carbon dioxide method uses all the solvent, leaving no residue behind. The remaining carbon dioxide simply evaporates once it is returned to normal pressure and temperatures. Rose Hip, Calendula and several other aromatics can only be created through the aromatherapy carbon dioxide method. These are among the strongest and richest of aromas developed for aromatherapy. <br /><br /> The aromatherapy cold press method produces essential oils that are more vibrant that those given off during steam distillation. Orange oil spray is one of the well known byproducts of cold press aromatherapy production. Orange oil is released by scoring or zesting the skin of the fruit. <br /><br /> The latest essential oil processing method is the use of a benign gas solvent in phytols and florasols. In 1986 Dr. Peter Wilde found that these plant materials gave off solvents that could extract aromatic essential oils. The method he founded was the lowering of the temperatures of florasols. The result was a clear and free flowing oil that was free of any wax. <bio>Dustin is owner of <a href="http://JustArticlesVIP.com" >http://JustArticlesVIP.com</a> and writes on a variety of subjects. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ When the furniture is stuffed and swathed with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fabric" rel="tag">fabric</a> or leather cover, it is called as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/upholstery" rel="tag">upholstery</a>. Upholstery makes the furniture more comfortable and gives a trendy and rich look to you rooms. The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/upholstered+furniture" rel="tag">upholstered furniture</a> look beautiful befitting to the home d=E9cor. But their cleaning is also very essential as it cannot be done with ordinary cleaning. The upholstery requires different cleaning and proper care. All the stains cannot be removed in a single way; you need to apply different methods of removing stains depending on the type of stains. <br /><br /> The stains on your upholstery can mar the looks of your furniture; don't consider the hard and tough stains as a very big problem as simple cleaning tips on different surface materials will help you to do the job easily. The upholstered furniture is no doubt expensive like you have sofa, chair, loveseat and many more. It can get dirty with if you eat on sofa and bits of food falls down and drinks that leave stains on sofa, dirty feet and dirty clothing. <br /><br /> Before initiating the process of cleaning find out the fabric to be cleaned. The best way to clean is to test it in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/inconspicuous+area" rel="tag">inconspicuous area</a> to ensure no discoloration or damage is done to the fabric. With the simple steps and different cleaning methods given below can help you to remove stains effectively. <br /><br /> If it is a greasy stain so the best option is to choose a dry cleaning <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solvent" rel="tag">solvent</a> easily available in any grocery or retail stores. Put the solvent on a clean white cloth and blot at the stain, do not rub. Mix a mild ph balanced detergent in one cup of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/warm+water" rel="tag">warm water</a> and blot it on the stain, after that use a towel to sponge the solvent and detergent off with clean warm water and let the spot dry. <br /><br /> Some may feel weird but baby wipes can prove effective in cleaning some upholstery. In this too much water and soap is not required and the alcohol in the wipes makes sure that it evaporates quickly. If the stains are mild they can be removed by the inexpensive sprays available. These upholstery sprays work quite well but should be used carefully. These sprays won't work if the stains are large patch of oil or grease. <br /><br /> The loose dirt which gets collected everyday on the upholstery can be removed by the vacuum cleaner. You should be wary if your sofa or a chair is an expensive one, the upholstery of such furniture usually has lot of organic material inside. In such cases it is advisable to get cleaned professionally rather than trying tips that ca be tried at home as it worth the investment. <br /><br /> It is a common problem to have hair of pet on your upholstery. To remove those hair use a pet rake, velour brush or even tape wrapped around your hand. The light and even strokes will remove the hair from upholstery. If not you can try with the rubber bottom on a clean tennis shoe, even the slightly dampened sponge can be used but see to it that it does not damage the upholstery. The vacuum cleaner with a beater roll or beater brush can be of great help. The place where vacuum cleaner cannot reach one can use a pet sponge. The pet sponge is available at every pet supply stores and is used dry. <bio>Looking for more information on Upholstery Cleaning visit <a href="http://www.upholstery-cleaning.net" >http://www.upholstery-cleaning.net</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Ready to spray <br /><br /> Make sure you have prepared the surface of your car first. Most suppliers provide you with a piece of specially coated poster board paper called a spray out card or test panel. Paint this card first to determine color match. There is nothing you can do once the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/automotive+paint" rel="tag">automotive paint</a> is on your car. You are ready to spray when all high quality solvents have been added to the paint to assure high performance. Avoid dry times, sanding times, flash times, or any other directions that may cause poor performance. <br /><br /> One part <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/acrylic+lacquer" rel="tag">Acrylic Lacquer</a> Primer <br /><br /> It is the easiest automotive paint to use. When you are ready to spray, shake it up and stir it with a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/paint+stick" rel="tag">paint stick</a>. Strain it with a strainer right in to the gun cup, a recommended tip size is 1.4. Now create a slow build one coat at a time. Afterwards, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wet+sand" rel="tag">wet sand</a> with 600 water sand-paper. <br /><br /> 2 part <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/urethane" rel="tag">Urethane</a> Primer <br /><br /> This is catalyzed automotive paint, so do not let it sit in the gun for too long. You should clean your paint gun immediately to prevent damage. Sand with 600 sandpaper. This automotive <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/paint+product" rel="tag">paint product</a> has the best adhesion; a recommended tip size is 2.0. All solvent is added, with just a small amount of primer catalyst hardener provided. Mix this together in a separate plastic cup. Use 3 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/coats" rel="tag">coats</a>, and wait 10 minutes between each coat. It is best to wait over night to wet sand. <br /><br /> Urethane Base Coat <br /><br /> When ready to spray, shake the automotive paint up and stir with a paint stick. Stain it right into the gun cup. Put on 2-3 medium wet coats or until covered, waiting a flash time of 10-20 minutes between coats. One final mist coat can be applied to make the metallic appear more even. You should not solvent clean or sand in between coats of base coat color. This automotive paint product does require to be clear coated within 7 days. <br /><br /> Acrylic Lacquer Clear Coat <br /><br /> Wait one hour of base coat color to dry before applying this automotive paint. It is very easy to use. When you are ready to spray, again, shake it up and stir it with a paint stick. Strain it with a strainer right in to the gun cup. A recommended tip size is 1.4. Now create a slow build one coat at a time. It will take 4 medium wet coats with a flash time of 5-10 minutes between coats. <br /><br /> Acrylic Urethane Clear Coat <br /><br /> This automotive paint has the highest quality. It is catalyzed, so do not let it sit in the gun too long. Clean your paint gun immediately to prevent damage. All solvent is added, and just a small amount of clear coat catalyst hardener has been provided. Again, mix this together in a separate plastic cup. It has a 4-1 clear coat to clear hardener ratio. You can apply 2 wet coats allowing the first coat to flash off for 5-10 minutes. If you use a third coat, the flash times need to increase to 10-15 minutes. The dust free time is around 20 minutes, if you need to buff this clear you can wet sand with 1500 and polished after 24 hours, and before 48 hours has elapsed. <bio>Much more information about Automotive Paint on this website <a href="http://www.automotive-paint-e.com">http://www.automotive-paint-e.com.</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/perc" rel="tag">Perc</a>hloroethylene, better known as perc, is used by 80 percent of dry cleaners in the United States as a solvent to wash clothes that are "dry clean only." Despite its effectiveness, the use of this chemical has been linked to a range of health side effects and has recently come under heavy public scrutiny. With heavy regulation from the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/environmental+protection+agency" rel="tag">Environmental Protection Agency</a>, professional dry cleaners are seeking the use of a safer chemical=97<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/liquid+carbon+dioxide" rel="tag">liquid carbon dioxide</a>=97to provide a green laundry alternative. At-home <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dry+cleaning" rel="tag">dry cleaning</a> kits such as Dry Cleaner's Secret are providing the option of affordable and environmentally safe dry cleaning, that cuts down the energy-burning, waste producing processes that the professionals use. <br /><br /> The first step to green dry cleaning is replacing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/harmful+chemicals" rel="tag">harmful chemicals</a> with natural cleaning products. Perchloroethylene (perc) is a synthetic chemical that is made from a reaction between ethylene and chlorine. Like many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/synthetic+chemicals" rel="tag">synthetic chemicals</a>, it poses a threat to our health. Perc is a central nervous system depressant. Exposure to it can occur in the workplace or in the environment when it is released into air, water, land, or groundwater. It can also occur when people use products containing perc, spend time in dry cleaning facilities that use perc, live above or adjacent to these dry cleaning facilities, or bring dry cleaned garments into their home before they are properly aired out. Short-term <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/contact" rel="tag">contact</a> can cause dizziness, headaches, nausea, and irritation of the skin, eyes, nose, and throat, while long term exposure poses greater threats, including liver and kidney damage and cancer. <br /><br /> Liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) appears to be the most practical green dry cleaning solvent to replace perchloroethylene. It is cheap, abundant, naturally occurring and can even be recycled from the industrial wastes from the manufacture of chemicals such as ammonia. Most importantly, exposure to carbon dioxide has no health side effects. The only drawbacks for dry cleaning with CO2 are that it does not clean as well as perc does and the machinery needed to use it is very expensive, thus a higher price is past on to the consumer. <br /><br /> A virtue of environmentalism is moderation. That being said, green dry cleaning is best achieved if you do not dry clean at all or limit the use of professional dry cleaning by using at-home dry cleaning kits for garments with smaller spots and stains or that need to be freshened. Professional dry cleaning is a large process that uses a lot of energy and produces a lot of waste in the form of powder residue, sludge and wastewater. If the dry cleaner is still using perc (it is still allowed in most states), these substances are hazardous. At-home dry cleaning involves no more than a Dry Cleaner's Secret cleaning cloth and your dryer. There are no harmful chemicals involved and no waste. <br /><br /> While perc remains the most effective dry cleaning solvent, the use of natural cleaning products and at-home dry cleaning can only be beneficial to our health and our environment. <br /><br /> ~ Ben Anton <bio>We invite you to read more about eco-friendly dry cleaning methods at our website: <a href="http://www.drycleanerssecret.com" >http://www.drycleanerssecret.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Perfume is a chemical compound of fragrant oils, aroma blends, fixatives, and solvents that provides a pleasant or attractive smell to anyone, anything, or any space to which it is applied, either directly or through spray. This is used primarily for women who want to attract a mate or wish to smell nice for a social event. <br /><br /> Concentration and Composition <br /><br /> The concentration or composition of perfume starts with a base of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/perfume+oils" rel="tag">perfume oils</a>, which are natural, animal, or synthetic. These oils are watered down with a solvent that makes perfume light and applicable. Why? Pure, or undiluted, perfume oils are composed of eruptive elements that can damage the skin or cause allergic reactions, so adding solvent thins the oils and makes them less potent. The most prevalently used solvent is Ethanol. <br /><br /> Natural and Synthetic Aromatics: <br /><br /> Plant Sources: Plants are the oldest source for fragrant oils compounds in perfume, flowers and blossoms the most prevalent parts used in perfume. Other plant parts include leaves and twigs; roots, rhizomes, and bulbs; seeds; fruits; wood; barks; and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lichens" rel="tag">lichens</a>. <br /><br /> Animal Sources: Musk, from the musk sacs from the Asian <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/musk+deer" rel="tag">musk deer</a>; Civets, also referred Civet Musk; and fatty compounds known as Ambergris are among the most prevalent used in perfume. Others include Castoreum and Honeycomb. <br /><br /> Synthetic Sources: Produced through the organic synthesis of multiple <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chemical+compounds" rel="tag">chemical compounds</a>. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/calone" rel="tag">Calone</a>, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/linalool" rel="tag">Linalool</a>, Coumarin, and Terpenes are among synthetic sources used to make fragrant oils. These can create unnatural smells (or those not existent in nature) and are very valuable elements used to make perfume. <br /><br /> Purpose: Composing Perfumes <br /><br /> The reason multiple industries use perfume or fragrant compounds is to attract the customer via the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/olfactory+system" rel="tag">olfactory system</a>, or sense of smell, and persuade them to buy perfumes or perfume-laced products. <br /><br /> Brief: fragrant samples created for smell-testing by select would-be buyers. This process of smell-testing various perfume combinations--which usually extends over a long period of time--is an attempt to isolate the feeling incited by the brief. When this is achieved, the fragrance is typically modified and formulated accordingly. The perfume composition is either destined to augment other products (as a functional fragrance) or is patented and sold as a perfume (as a fine fragrance) after aging one year. <br /><br /> Implications: Preserving Perfumes <br /><br /> Fragrance compounds usually deteriorate and lose strength and cohesion if stored inappropriately for long periods of time. It is therefore wise to tightly seal such compounds in aluminum containers, and keep them away from light, heat, Oxygen, and other organic substances. For best results, these containers should be stored in a refrigerator at a temperature of around 3 to 7 degrees Celsius. <br /><br /> Perfume is very popular in world culture, so much so that its uses and applications continue to expand. The sense of smell is one of the most powerful and persuasive of the human senses, so it's natural that perfume would entice us in many areas of daily living. <bio>Find more Perfume resources and other great topics at <a href="http://www.info-checkpoint.info" >http://www.info-checkpoint.info</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Pure <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tea+tree+oil" rel="tag">tea tree oil</a> has many invaluable uses around the home that are a welcome solution to common <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/household+situations" rel="tag">household situations</a>. <br /><br /> 1. Antiseptic and Fungicide. Tea tree oil is well known to be a natural antiseptic and fungicide. It can be used on minor cuts and abrasions and is useful for many types of skin conditions including cold sores, athletes feet, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/head+lice" rel="tag">head lice</a>, and nail infections, just to name a few. <br /><br /> 2. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mold+growth" rel="tag">Mold Growth</a> Control. Tea tree oil is a natural cleaner because of its solvent properties and is useful in controlling mold growth. Mold is a health hazard and can invade homes, particularly in areas that are often damp due to high humidity or water damage. <br /><br /> 3. Consumer Products. Today tea tree oil can be found in many consumer products like shampoos, hair conditioners, soaps, cosmetics, toothpastes, and even toothpicks! <br /><br /> 4. Cleaning Solution. Wash floors and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kitchen+cabinets" rel="tag">kitchen cabinets</a> with a mix of a few drops of tea tree oil into any cleaning solution. It is advisable that the room be well ventilated, (open windows), whenever you use household chemicals, regardless if you use tea tree oil. The addition of tea tree oil to cleaning solutions can improve the cleaning power of the solution, and it adds a wonderful aromatic scent that gives the washed area that "just cleaned" smell. <br /><br /> 5. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/insect+repellent" rel="tag">Insect Repellent</a>. Another benefit to using tea tree oil to wash kitchen floors is that it makes an excellent insect repellent. To keep those unwanted pests away, also wipe down <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kitchen+counters" rel="tag">kitchen counters</a> with a tea tree solution and you'll see positive results! Enjoy the outdoors more by warding off insects from bothering you. Add 10-20 drops of tea tree oil to citronella. Great for camping and hiking! <br /><br /> 6. Laundry. Ever experience washing damp towels that were left too long on the floor and still had that funky mildew smell after they came out of the dryer? You could try several washes to remove the smell or you can add a few drops of tea tree oil to your wash. Towels will come out of the dryer smelling better than new! <br /><br /> This amazing oil is distilled from a bush that grows in Australia. Melaleuca Alternifolia Tea Tree plant has the best properties out of 100 possible species in the world. Australia also seems to have the optimum conditions for growing tea tree plants, including soil and weather. These special conditions allow tea tree plants to develop the desired constituents. Good quality tea tree oil should meet the requirements mandated by the Australian government. The oil actually has a viscosity more similar to water rather than oil. It should be bottled in a brown bottle so that ultraviolet light does not degrade the product. <br /><br /> Pure tea tree oil is a natural solvent that will dissolve plastic cups. However, when you mix a few drops in a water solution its solvent properties become greatly reduced and in most cases become a non-issue. If you plan on using your tea tree oil solution on fabric or fibers it is advisable to apply it to a test area first. This should be an inconspicuous spot to rule out potential problems like color fastness. <br /><br /> The amazing thing about tea tree oil is that you only need a little bit or just a few drops for each application. A 2-ounce bottle can last months. Always keep a bottle or two in the house along with a handbook on using tea tree oil. You'll soon find many valuable uses and solutions and wonder how you ever got along without it! <bio>L Ticotin is an alternative health enthusiast and owner of <a href="http://TeaTreePlace.com" >http://TeaTreePlace.com</a> specializing in pure tea tree oil and tea tree oil products encompassing shampoo, hair conditioner, toothpaste, bulk tea tree oil, toothpicks, etc. <a href="http://www.teatreeplace.com" >http://www.teatreeplace.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[People worldwide are using <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/perfume" rel="tag">perfume</a> for a variety of reasons. We may use it to smell nice, attract people of the opposite sex or just make ourselves feel good and more confident. But before you go on spraying that favorite scent of yours, have you ever wondered how the perfume originated and what goes on into making a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/signature+scent" rel="tag">signature scent</a>? <br /><br /> The art of making <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fragrances" rel="tag">fragrances</a> originated from the Egyptians when they burned plants and woods for their pleasant odors. But it was the French who turned it into a science and into a multi-million industry. Making scents and fragrances is very big business. Long gone were the days when perfume used to be for the affluent or rich. Now, more and more people can afford to purchase <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/perfumes" rel="tag">perfumes</a> and colognes as scent manufacturers are producing fragrances suited for every age, gender and purchasing power. <br /><br /> One of the problems in producing perfumes would be how to make it last long. It was the French who discovered the solution to overcoming this problem by layering the scents into three layers which is known in the industry as notes. <br /><br /> The top note is the initial smell that we whiff when a perfume is applied or sprayed on. It has an intense smell but usually lasts for only a short while. Spice or Citrus based scents are commonly used as a top note. <br /><br /> The middle note otherwise known as the heart note is the main component of the scent. The smell of the middle note surfaces when the top note starts to weaken. Usually <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/floral+scents" rel="tag">floral scents</a> in nature are used as middle notes since it is softer in smell. The middle note would last most of the day. <br /><br /> The base note is the scent that would last until the night. It serves as the foundation of every scent and it will blend with the middle note. Musky scents are commonly used as a base note. <br /><br /> The perfume <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/basically" rel="tag">basically</a> has three components: the scent, the fixative and the solvent. The scent can be made from flowers, plants, herbs, spices and wood. The fixative is the component that helps make the scent last for a longer duration. The solvent is usually alcohol and helps prevent bacteria from forming and maintains the perfume's consistency. <br /><br /> When you will be using any cologne or perfume, ensure that you don't put on too much of it. As much as possible to make it pleasing to other people apply only a very slight amount to let it blend with your body's natural odor. <bio>Mary Lorainne writes about <a href="http://www.perfumefragrancecoupons.com/Categories/Men's/Gift%20Sets.html" >http://www.perfumefragrancecoupons.com/Categories/Men's/Gift%20Sets.html</a> and FragranceX free , <a href="http://www.perfumefragrancecoupons.com" >http://www.perfumefragrancecoupons.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ A great way to upgrade your boring old garage floor is by applying one of many different garage floor treatment options available on the market. One such option is a solvent-based urethane that repels oil, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vehicle+fluids" rel="tag">vehicle fluids</a> and tire tracks that can all stain a concrete floor. If your vehicle does happen to leak something, all you need to do is simply wipe it off the coated floor and you are done. This can all be done by yourself or you can hire a professional to do the job if you do not have the time or are not a do it yourself type person. <br /><br /> Your first step involved in applying a solvent-based urethane garage floor treatment is to clean the surface with a high-pressure washer to remove all dirt and stains. Scrub the floor with a good detergent and water solution by using a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/scouring+machine" rel="tag">scouring machine</a> if you have one. Otherwise, you will have to use some good old-fashioned hard work. Apply a muriatic acid solution, which will rough up the floor so that the floor coating will form a good bond with the concrete floor. <br /><br /> If you happen to have any areas of the floor that are cracked or broken then a garage floor treatment mixture of epoxy and sand is used to fill those areas before applying the protective coating. Apply the primer with a metal squeegee and roll it out with a 3/8 inch nap roller. Let it dry overnight. An interesting technique to give you a unique floor is to throw colored <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/paint+flakes" rel="tag">paint flakes</a> to the wet surface of the floor after applying a base coat. You will have a unique floor that no one else will have. Let the paint and flakes dry overnight and then on the following day apply a sealer. Some sealers require one coat while others required <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/two+coats" rel="tag">two coats</a>. If applying two coats you will need to wait a few hours before applying the second coat. When you are finished, you should be quite impressed with your work. <br /><br /> If you would prefer a garage floor treatment that is much simpler then perhaps laying <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/industrial+mats" rel="tag">industrial mats</a> around the garage would be suffice for you. They come in many different sizes and cleaning is quite easily done with soap and water. You can remove the mats to clean them, or clean them right where they are it is up to you. They are quite durable and will last a long time as long as they are cleaned regularly. Using a strong chemical though is not a good idea because it will cause damage to the mats. <br /><br /> Most garages are a place to store the family vehicle however; some people use it as a spare room and not for storing a car. In this case, then your garage floor treatment would likely be more along the lines of vinyl or linoleum for durability and d=E9cor. Alternatively, you could choose the flooring to match whatever the garage is used for, such as carpet if it is a games room for example. <bio>Your garage floor should be protected and we provide several different methods to protect any concrete floor area whether using a garage floor sealer or any type of garage floor treatment. <a href="http://www.garagesealer.com/" >http://www.garagesealer.com/</a> by D. <content:encoded><![CDATA[It used to be that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vinyl+banners" rel="tag">vinyl banners</a> were only useful as short term replacements for more "professional" looking signs. But the advent of digital printing has meant that vinyl banners can be printed in full color. And they are very inexpensive compared to the alternatives. This means that vinyl banners have a wide range of uses. Here are some of the most popular. <br /><br /> 1. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/banner+signs" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/banner+sign" rel="tag">Banner Sign</a>s</a> - <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/outdoor+banners" rel="tag">Outdoor Banners</a> <br /><br /> Banner Signs are often used in the place of more rigid signage. Because they are outdoor banners, they are printed on very rugged tear-resistant vinyl, and then seamed around all four sides for added strength and wind resistance. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/grommets" rel="tag">Grommets</a> are applied where necessary for easy hanging. <br /><br /> Banner signs can be tied down, or screwed down, and will last for years without tearing or fading. You can also mount your banner sign without grommets by asking for "pole pockets" instead. This way they can be mounted on poles at either the sides or top and bottom. The poles can be part of a mounting bracket arrangement, or, if it is made of wood or plastic, can be screwed directly to a wooden surface (such as a fence). <br /><br /> 2. Trade Show Banners <br /><br /> Vinyl banners are ideal for many trade show applications. Since they are lightweight and very flexible, they can be easily rolled and unrolled, and can be used for many years. They make perfect banner backdrops when hung from the appropriate hardware, or can be used as a sign hanging on the front of your display table. <br /><br /> Vinyl banners are especially appropriate for trade show applications because they are lightweight and can be easily shipped or transported. They can also be use in other products such as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/banner+stands" rel="tag">Banner Stands</a>, Retractable Jiffy Rolls, or X-Banners. <br /><br /> The printing on digitally printed vinyl banners is bright and colorful, and very durable, because they are made for outdoor use. Trade show banners are printed on a very smooth, soft vinyl material with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solvent+based" rel="tag">solvent based</a> inks. When buying trade show banners, always insist on true solvent-based inks because they are much, much more scratch resistant, and UV-resistant; and are completely water-resistant as well. Banners printed with dye-based or pigment-based inks will fade very quickly in bright light. <br /><br /> 3. Convention Banners, Conference Banners <br /><br /> Every special event can use an Event Banner. These normally function as focal points or as backdrops. A typical event banner is used at a conference or convention where there is a stage or podium. A banner can be hung as a backdrop in order to emphasize the convention theme or display a corporate logo. <br /><br /> Event banner backdrops can be any size or shape, varying from your typical horizontal long and narrow shape to a more square backdrop shape. Large backdrop banners can be hung from cords attached to the ceiling either to a curtain rod style pole (using the pole pocket technique) or to a number of grommets in the top of the banner. <br /><br /> 4. Event Banners, Birthday Banners, Anniversary Banners <br /><br /> Event banners can be either Indoor or Outdoor Banners. The cost is virtually the same, since only the material is different. In the case of Birthday Banners that are used indoors, the vinyl material is often softer, and less tear-resistant. Even paper will work, although it is much less durable, and not significantly less expensive. <br /><br /> Many Event Banners are meant to be hung or mounted outside, like a Sign Banner. For instance many churches use event banners to announce programs like Vacation Bible School, or golf courses to promote a special tournament. These banners are usually printed on a more tear-resistant material, and should include seams and grommets where requested. If you need your banner to last for more than one event it is best to print it with durable outdoor inks to make it scratch, water, and UV resistant. <br /><br /> 5. Streetscape or Boulevard Banners <br /><br /> Vinyl banners are perfect for adding atmosphere and identity to streetscapes. Special hardware allows you to hang your banners vertically from utility poles. Pole pockets top and bottom make it easy to put up and take down your banners. Streetscape banners are made more durable and weather-resistant by welding two banners together to make a two-sided banner. And of course solvent inks are essential for this application since streetscape banners are fully exposed to the elements. <br /><br /> Be sure your vinyl banners are printed with full color outdoor resistant printing using solvent inks. Because the printing process is a digital one, banner designs can include photographs, logos, and special artwork. You can normally use your own vinyl banner design, or your supplier can create a banner design for you for a small charge. <bio>Rick Hendershot publishes Linknet News -- <a href="http://www.linknet-news.com">http://www.linknet-news.com</a> | Full Color Brochure Printing from <a href="http://PrintPelican.com">http://PrintPelican.com</a> -- <a href="http://www.printpelican.com">http://www.printpelican.com</a> | Replacement Ink Cartridges. <content:encoded><![CDATA[In most cases you will notice that rust has been on your driveway and sidewalks for ever. The problem comes up that the cement is in fact... a hard surface and next to plant life. While most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rust+removers" rel="tag">rust removers</a> will just tear apart your sidewalk and driveway, you could go a bit softer. How do you softer when with concrete <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rust+removal" rel="tag">rust removal</a>. Simple, go organic and do less work and not kill any of your plants.<br><br>Concrete rust removal usually involves some harsh acids and pretty <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/nasty+chemicals" rel="tag">nasty chemicals</a>. This is not the case anymore, in fact new natural cleaning product manufacturers are developing ways to get rid of rust from the cement by neutralizing it.<br><br>They now have specific products that are being used in the skyscrapers in New York city and also the bridges. Once the population heard there was a easier way to remove rust without even having to wipe it or scrub it away, the organic concrete rust removers are now in many commercial businesses.<br><br>So how do you not get burned and how do you actually neutralize rust so you do not have to wipe or scrub it?<br><br>This is in the chemistry of a product. While older products used acid to neutralize, we now have newer and pure raw materials that work extremely well.<br><br>These raw materials are combined and form an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/organic+solution" rel="tag">organic solution</a> that you can use indoors and outdoors. No worry about burning your hand off. These organic concrete rust removers are really a force to be reckon with.<br><br>So what is the secret formula?<br><br>Well while most of it is proprietary, there is some evidence that kelp is being used which is a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sea+weed" rel="tag">sea weed</a> type plant and also <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/citrus+oils" rel="tag">citrus oils</a> from the earth. The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/earth+products" rel="tag">earth products</a> some very powerful ingredients that are non-toxic and safe to use. Once the chemist department find that out, they begin placing these amazing ingredients into action.<br><br>The challenge is making sure these ingredients are pure and organic. With many organic concrete rust removers, the raw materials are very pure high quality grade. They do not use solvent based material and this is in fact why they are better performing rust removers from lab tests.<br><br>If you looking for a safe way to remove rust from concrete or any other surface for that matter, it is recommended to go and start looking into developing or using your own organic rust remover. It is a process to get the right mixture of raw materials, but when found the results are amazing. For instance for Rusterizer which is an organic concrete rust remover. The product will neutralize rust within in 3 seconds or 3 sprays guaranteed which ever comes first. This is one of many rust removers, while organic products are not as commonly available. Be sure to research and try to get your hands on the safe concrete rust removers. These products have pure raw materials formulated within them and are safe to use around children and pets. Also, they are very powerful to use outside.<br><br>The problem many rust projects have is that the product is just to dangerous to use. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ How do I know what size costume will fit me? <br /><br /> There are two categories of costume sizes (adult and children) wherein you will be able to determine whether the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/costumes" rel="tag">costumes</a> will fit you. The costume sizes available for adults include one or two fittings: standard or extra large fittings with different sizes variations. For children, costume sizes have three fittings, which are small, medium or large with different <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/size+variations" rel="tag">size variations</a> appropriate within specific age limits. Always look for a costume with installed flexibility and adjustability features. <br /><br /><br /><br /> * Where can I get a custom fit costume? <br /><br /> You can get custom fit costumes from costume specialists or from certified costume manufacturers who will create a costume according to your specifications. <br /><br /> There are also manufacturers online where you can search for the right custom fit costumes you need or let them create one for you. They can design your costumes with your supervision. <br /><br /><br /><br /> * How should I wash my costume? <br /><br /> There are two procedures for washing a costume. Most costumes can be washed either by hand or by machine. You can use a detergent which has gentle ingredients and run the washer on the andquot;gentleandquot; cycle, with as little agitation as possible. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/laundromat" rel="tag">Laundromat</a> washers usually contain residues from bleach or chemicals from previous washes, so beware of using laundromat machines. <br /><br /><br /><br /> * What can I use to get a stain out of my costume? <br /><br /> Removing a stain from your costume will depend on what kind of stain it is. <br /><br /> - Caramel candy or hot chocolate stains can be removed by soaking it in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cold+water" rel="tag">cold water</a>, then spotting it with a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/liquid+laundry+detergent" rel="tag">liquid laundry detergent</a> or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prewash+stain+remover" rel="tag">prewash stain remover</a>. <br /><br /> - Chewing gum stains can be removed by applying ice to the gum residue and treating it with a prewash stain remover or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/liquid+detergent" rel="tag">liquid detergent</a> with heavy duty ingredients. <br /><br /> - Stains from fruit can be removed by running it under cold water and washing it using a laundry detergent. <br /><br /> - Face makeup stains can be treated with a dry cleaning solvent or prewash stain remover. <br /><br /> - Nail polish stains are difficult to remove; however, keep applying a nail polish remover at intervals until the stain slowly fades. <br /><br /> - Candle wax stains can be removed using a dry cleaning solvent. <br /><br /><br /><br /> * How should I store my costume? <br /><br /> Costumes are an important tool for promotions, and they require proper storage to ensure that they will retained their original condition. The best solution is to take your costumes to a professional costume company for storage, where they can take care of it properly. <br /><br /> - They can immediately ship your costume to you before your specified date. <br /><br /> - They usually offer return shipping after using your costume in an event. <br /><br /> - They completely repair and clean costumes between events, if needed. <br /><br /> - They store costumes in dry and safe facilities. <br /><br /> - Your costume is fully insured for water damage, theft, or fire during its storage. <br /><br /> - They can bill you quarterly. <bio>Carrie Higginson is editor of <a href="http://www.CostumeHQ.com" >http://www.CostumeHQ.com</a>, the online guide to Costumes. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ You've bought your first <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/furniture+set" rel="tag">furniture set</a> and now you need to take care of it. Having a sofa is great and definitely adds to the beauty and atmosphere of your home, but you also need to know how to clean it and take care of it properly, otherwise you will have a grungy, tattered <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/piece+of+furniture" rel="tag">piece of furniture</a> squatting in the middle of your living room before long. There are several simple steps that you can easily follow to make sure that your beautiful, comfortable couch will look great and last long enough for everyone to enjoy. <br /><br /> Basically, you just have to remember two general rules for cleaning upholstery. Since <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/loose+dirt" rel="tag">loose dirt</a> and stains are the most common factors for soiling your furniture, learning how to deal with them will save you a lot of time and money later in the future. Cleaning up loose dirt can easily be done by vacuuming or just brushing away the dirt. You have to do this as soon as possible, though, before the dirt gets embedded in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fabric" rel="tag">fabric</a>. As for cleaning up stains and spills, you can use a dry cloth to soak up and wipe away the liquid. <br /><br /> The best way to clean up your upholstery, however, is to first learn the cleaning codes. Each and every fabric has its own specialized cleaning method, so make sure you know about them. Look for the cleaning codes on one of the attached tags on your furniture, as they will tell you how to properly clean your upholstery. If you can't find the code, try cleaning a little spot in an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/inconspicuous+area" rel="tag">inconspicuous area</a> of the furniture to test for compatibility. There are four cleaning codes that are currently used by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/upholstery+manufacturers" rel="tag">upholstery manufacturers</a>. I will tell you about them, as well as the recommended procedures related to each code. <br /><br /> W =96 Vacuuming and light dusting are recommended. Use only water-based cleaning agents or foam from mild detergents or non-solvent upholstery shampoo. Apply the cleaning agent in a circular motion, using a soft cloth or brush. <br /><br /> S =96 You can also vacuum or dust lightly. Use water-free <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cleaning+solvents" rel="tag">cleaning solvents</a> or dry-cleaning solutions for spot cleaning. Be sure to avoid using products with carbon tetrachloride. Use a soft cloth and clean the upholstery in a well-ventilated area. Getting the services of a professional cleaner is also recommended. <br /><br /> WS =96 This is quite easy, since you can practically use any of the recommended methods above. If using a solvent or dry-cleaning product, be sure to do it in a well-ventilated area. Avoid products with carbon tetrachloride. <br /><br /> X =96 Clean your furniture by vacuuming and light dusting ONLY. Avoid using liquid cleaning agents of any kind. Using water-based cleaners or solvents may cause shrinking and/or damage the surface appearance of the upholstery. <br /><br /> Try to clean your upholstery at least every month. If you have a futon, try to flip the cushions over at least once a month, and wash the covers at the same time as well. When you use liquid cleaning agents or foam, you can remove the excess foam with a spatula or even a piece of cardboard. And remember to keep the material as dry as possible during cleaning; this will help keep the fabric from shrinking. <bio>Azlan Irda is the co-founder of <a href="http://www.aaafabric.com" >http://www.aaafabric.com</a> which provides high quality products for all your fabric needs. <content:encoded><![CDATA[These days, virtually everyone is looking for ways to improve their homes. Fun and rewarding projects come to mind every day. Most homeowners pay close attention to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/home+improvements" rel="tag">home improvements</a> inside rather than outside the homes, with many focusing on <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bathroom+renovations" rel="tag">bathroom renovations</a>. Bathroom improvements are important, as this is the place where family members spend time rejuvenating and sometimes relaxing. <br /><br /> If your bathroom can use an update, it is not necessary to break out the paintbrush. Maybe all you really need is a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/scrub+brush" rel="tag">scrub brush</a>. Here are a few tips and techniques to bring out the best in your bath:<br /><br /><br /><br /> Windows of Opportunity Many bathrooms don't require new windows, but could certainly benefit from a thorough window and mirror cleaning. To make your glass crystal clear and your mirrors gleam, try this cleaning solution: blend 1/3 cup of clear <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/white+vinegar" rel="tag">white vinegar</a> with 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol. Spray this mixture on <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bathroom+mirrors" rel="tag">bathroom mirrors</a> and windows for an easy and effective deep cleaning.<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /> Shower Fresh Keep your tub and shower stall clean and fresh by scrubbing once a week with an orange citrus-based commercial cleanser. Spray the cleanser directly on all surfaces to dissolve away dirt and soap scum. Keep wall tiles shiny, seal porous surfaces and create a spot-resistant finish by applying <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+wax" rel="tag">car wax</a> twice a year. This method can also be used on glass shower doors. Do not use car wax on the bathroom or shower floor, as it does create a slippery surface that can be quite hazardous. Super Bowl Use vinegar to give your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/toilet" rel="tag">toilet</a> a new lease on life. Pour one or two cups of white vinegar into the toilet tank once a month, to help keep the water clear and eliminate nasty rings in the bowl. Scrub away tough stains using solvent and a toilet brush or pumice stone.<br /><br /><br /><br /> That Sinking Feeling Your bathroom sink is another area that could benefit from a good scrubbing. An easy home improvement step is to pour one cup of baking soda down the drain, followed by one cup of white vinegar. Let this mixture sit for one hour, then flush with warm water to fizzle away the dirt. Use this mixture in your bathtub and kitchen drains as well. Clean around your taps with solvent and an old stiff-bristled nylon toothbrush, and then polish to a gleaming finish using white vinegar and a paper towel.<br /><br /><br /><br /> Do Away With Mildew To complete your bathroom rejuvenation, remove all traces of mildew. A mixture of peroxide and water should be applied to the walls and ceiling to remove the dirt and germs that can cause mildew. <br /><br /> If you are thinking about a bathroom renovation, hold on. Maybe all it really needs is a little rejuvenation. A good scrubbing, followed by a weekly cleaning regime, will turn your bathroom into the relaxing oasis you deserve. <bio>Patricia Williams contributes to several web sites, including <a href="http://rebaw.com" >http://rebaw.com</a> and <a href="http://poweg.com" >http://poweg.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[You have always used water and detergent to wash your clothes. Then why would you suddenly shift from the conventional methods of getting rid of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/stains" rel="tag">stains</a> from your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/garments" rel="tag">garments</a> and use a dry method? Is the method really dry and does it really get rid of the stains? <br /><br /> It is believed that the invention of dry cleaning was the result of an accident. The story says that a petroleum-base fluid had accidentally spilled on greasy fabric. The fluid quickly evaporated, taking the stains with it thus giving rise to a new method of cleaning garments - dry cleaning. <br /><br /> Contrary to common belief, dry cleaning is not completely a 'dry' process. Dry cleaning process uses a cleaning fluid in which all garments are immersed and cleaned in a liquid <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/solvent" rel="tag">solvent</a> and not in water. The fact that there is no water is the reason why the process is termed 'dry cleaning'. It removes dirt and stains in a more effective way than water does. The process of dry cleaning involves pretreatment of stains or spots using special cleansing chemicals. The second step of cleaning begins as the garments are loaded into a machine. Throughout the cleaning process the fluid is filtered to ensure its clarity. <br /><br /> The dry cleaning industry is fairly new and has evolved only during the last 75 years. Initially solvents like gasoline and kerosene and other volatile synthetic solvents such as carbon tetrachloride and trichlorethylene were used. These <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/petroleum+solvents" rel="tag">petroleum solvents</a> were flammable and required adequate fire-prevention steps for safety. There was also a need for higher temperatures to dry and deodorize the garments, which made shrinkage and re-deposition of soil into the clothes more likely. These solvents were replaced by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/perc" rel="tag">perc</a>hlorethylene (perc), which was not only non-flammable and non-combustible but was also of relatively low toxicity and can be efficiently reused and recycled and did a better job of cleaning. Perc is now the leading solvent for the dry cleaning industry. <br /><br /> Dry cleaning has the ability to dissolve grease and oils in a way that water cannot. It is an effective way to completely wipe out dark, fatty otherwise irremovable stains, without affecting the shape of the garment and altering the texture and the color of the fabric and prevents shrinkage, finish and fabric distortion. It enhances the look and life of items and kills dust mites and bacteria, giving you a safer and cleaner home environ. Dry cleaning is suitable for delicate fabrics and natural fibres such as wool and silk. These materials dryclean beautifully but can lose color, shrink or distort when washed in water. Synthetic fibres like polyester also respond well to dry cleaning. <br /><br /> Often we tend to ignore the wash care instructions on our garments. This may result in the garments losing color, shape and texture. A circle 'O' on the wash care tag of any garment designates 'dry cleang. A cross over the circle means the garment is not to be dry-cleaned. For best results garments should be handed over to professional dry cleaners. About The Author: Quentin B. <content:encoded><![CDATA[There are many reasons for your skin to become oily for e.g. hereditary, pregnancy, environment, food we eat and many others. Our body secretes oil to keep our body <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/smooth" rel="tag">smooth</a> and supple. It also avoids wrinkles which becomes a cause of worry for many. <br /><br /> - Measures to avoid Oily Skin <br /><br /> • Drink plenty of water at least 8-10 glasses per day. <br /><br /> • Avoid smoking. <br /><br /> • Have a healthy and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/balanced+diet" rel="tag">balanced diet</a>. <br /><br /> • Use baby powder to dab your face as it works better than many other products. <br /><br /> • You can rub oily areas with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/apple+cider+vinegar" rel="tag">apple cider vinegar</a> for a neutralizing effect. <br /><br /> • Use of hot water more often as it is a great solvent. <br /><br /> • To avoid oily skin apply fresh smashed tomatoes on your face. <br /><br /> • The first step of having an oil-free skin is to clean your face with gentle face wash to remove excess oil and dirt. Wipe your face with astringent lotion as it is a fat and grease solvent. The astringent should have acetone and should also be alcohol free. Later apply a watery moisturizer to keep your skin smooth. Remove excess moisturizer by dabbing a tissue over it. <br /><br /> • Blend 1/2 cup cooked oatmeal, 1 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/egg+white" rel="tag">egg white</a>, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 1/2 cup mashed apple into a smooth paste. Apply this paste on your face for 15 minutes, later rinse it. <br /><br /> • You can apply mud packs or clay masks on your face which helps in soaking oil from the skin. This may provide a temporary relief as the long term effects is inconclusive. <br /><br /> • Egg Mask: Blend 1 egg white, 1 teaspoon camphor spirit, 1 tablespoon skim milk powder and a drop of mint essential oil. Before applying the mask, apply odorless <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/castor+oil" rel="tag">castor oil</a>. Apply the mask, keep it for 15 minutes; wash it off with warm water to be rinsed by apple cider vinegar and water / <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/witch+hazel" rel="tag">witch hazel</a> solution. <br /><br /> • Grate a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cucumber" rel="tag">cucumber</a> and keep it in the fridge. Apply this grated chilled cucumber on your face for 15 minutes. Use this at least twice a week for a clean and clear face. <br /><br /> • Cucumber can also be used in juice form mixed with lemon juice. Apply this mixture half-an-hour before you take a bath. The proportion would be 1/2 a tsp each of cucumber and lemon juice. <br /><br /> • Get a facial sauna by using herbs such as lemongrass, licorice root and rosebuds. Keep it in simmer, 2 to 4 tablespoons of fresh or dried herbs in 2 quarts of water. Once you see the steam cover your face over it. To entrap the steam, cover your head with a damp towel and be in that position for 15 minutes. Later wash your face with cold water and dab it dry. <br /><br /> Warning: The reader of this article should exercise all precautionary measures while following instructions on the home remedies from this article.
