Visit Google, Yahoo, MSN or one of the lesser search engines, and you get a few million results for just about any search term. Despite this impressive depth of results, most users consider only a few of the WebPages being pointed to. A lot of research indicates that most searchers exit search engine result pages to visit one of the top three results. That raises the question: What about the remaining million plus results? Are they all worthless in the labyrinth of the Internet? Or are they snared by the constraints of the algorithms that search engines use. Surely there can be better results than the ones dished out to us.

WE NEED A SEARCH-ENGINE TO SEARCH SEARCH-ENGINE RESULTS!

Based on the above premise, I set out on a mission to simplify search engine results. But, try as I might, I could not find an automated method to simplify search engine results. I think that is logical, otherwise these multi-billion dollar behemoths would have done so themselves. So, I thought: What is that one thing that I can do which the Googles and Yahoos of the world cannot do. And the quick answer was: I can use human / personal discretion in choosing search results. This would bypass the legion of search engine optimizers who keep building link popularity to rise up in search pages.

CAN HUMAN SELECTED SEARCH RESULTS BEAT ALGORITHM SELECTED SEARCH RESULTS?

Tough to say, but you can look for yourself. Compare the Google results for Hair Removal (http://www.google.com/search?hl=enandq=Hair+Removal) and my selected results for Hair Removal (http://www.human-search-engine.com/6.html). There is some overlap, but the results that I display are a result of my personal visit to the listed pages.

CONCLUSIONS

As search engines become better and faster, there is a need for a human touch to search results. In this constant struggle between spammy (scammy?) search engine optimizers and search engine engineers, the searcher can be the victim. <bio>Ajeet Khurana, a dog lover, publishes Dog Training articles at http://www.dog-obedience.net.
Internet marketing, in other words, is also known as Search Engine Marketing or SEM in short. SEM can also be defined as the practice of buying paid search listings with the goal of obtaining better free search listings.

Search Engine Marketing, is a form of marketing through the Internet, which seeks to promote websites by increasing the visibility of the websites in the result pages of various search engines. As per the marketing professionals in the community of SEM, this grouping can further be distributed into various sub-categories. The popular components of web promotion include Search Engine Optimization, paid advertisement placement and paid inclusion of sponsor's advertisements.

Search Engine Optimization is a part of Search Engine Marketing. SEO in short is the process of directing traffic to the company's website. In other words, it is the procedure of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines through search results with targeted keywords.

It is researched, that higher the site is presented in the search results or the higher the website ranks, the more searchers will visit the enlisted site. This is a vital part of the entire online promotional campaigns. The rank of a website is based on getting more searchers to access a particular company's website. Search Engine Optimization targets different kinds of search including image search, local search and industry=96specific vertical search engines.

SEO is based on the analysis of the statistics of the searchers. Thus, SEO works towards 'how search algorithms work' and 'what people search for'. A SEO work list includes a site's coding, presentation, and structure as well as bug fixing that could prevent search engine indexing programs from fully spidering a site.

Some other efforts in the list of Search Engine marketing include putting in noticeable labor by adding unique content to a site. This ensures that content is easily indexed by search engine robots making the site more appealing to users.

Search Engine marketing also works on another type of technique known as 'Black Hat' Search Engine Optimization or 'spamdexing'. More techniques such as 'link farms' and 'keyword stuffing' are also used to facilitate the search. This helps the website to put out and sell what they actually wanting to sell in the market.

The professionals who work to get the best marketing strategy for the various websites use the term `Search Engine Optimizers' to define themselves. They usually work on hire basis on the requirements of the clients. A few companies are there, mostly big, who keep in-house Search Engine Optimizers. A few of the companies may offer Search Engine Optimizer, globally, as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign.

Effective Search Engine Optimizers may require changes to the HTML source code of a site, as well as incorporating other high level languages like PHP and AJAX.

Not only a good SEO team can optimize the content of the site, they can also add that little extra to boost the 'look-n-feel' of the site. Search Engine Marketing and optimizer, though two different terms, still are inter-related to the entire concept of marketing a brand online. <bio>Best Info Products Online BLOG - Where you'll find Video Reviews, Free eCourses, Expert Articles and More on the Best Info Products Online. ==> http://www.bestinfoproductsonline.com | Get your FREE 5 Part Search Engine Marketing ecourse today! ==> http://www.bestinfoproductsonline.com/searchenginephatom/ </bio>

If you've hung around in the search engine optimization industry (a.k.a. SEO industry) very long, you've probably heard the debate on ethical SEO tactics. Or, as it is often put, white hat tactics versus black hat tactics.

What exactly makes a search engine optimization tactic ethical or unethical? According to the dictionary, an ethical practice is one "conforming to accepted standards of social or professional behavior". For search engine optimization, I believe that we should get at least some of the "accepted standards" from the search engines themselves.

Some SEO experts would interject that the search engines don't want search engine optimizers to exist at all, so if we ask the search engines, all search engine optimization is unethical. That's not true, though. Google itself says that "Many SEOs provide useful services for website owners...However, a few unethical SEOs have given the industry a black eye."

So...what makes an unethical SEO? Once again, Google has an opinion on the subject: "Avoid tricks ...to improve search engine rankings. A good rule of thumb is whether you'd feel comfortable explaining what you've done to a website that competes with you."

Perhaps a better way to put it would be this: You've gotten a phone call from Sam, who is a Google search results quality enforcement officer. He says: "John, I see that you are ranked #1 on the keyword xyz. I want to be sure that you did this in an ethical manner. What methods did you use?" If you feel comfortable telling Google how you got top ranked, then you're probably OK.

Of course, those are only general guidelines. Read the Google and Yahoo webmaster guidelines. You'll find many specifics. You'll also find that the golden rule of of ethical search engine optimization is: "Don't do anything to trick the search engines, or to represent your pages differently to the search engines than you do your human visitors." <bio>Visit the David Williams Corporation for your Ethical Search Engine Optimization needs! http://www.davidwilliamsonline.com/ </bio>

The history of search engine optimization began in the early to mid 1990's when web site owners realized sharp spikes in web traffic following the inclusion of a web page to a search engine for indexing. Many web site owners began to pay for frequent admission to the search engines in order to be indexed since it resulted in more web traffic which translated into more conversions and more revenue.

At about the same time, web site optimizer firms began business with experts who specialized in finding a way to make web pages more visible to the search engine spiders. Although most such firms did so by studying the algorithms used by the search engines and rewriting the web pages in a way that would utilize the characteristics of the algorithms to the benefit of the customer, other, less scrupulous search engine optimizers used tactics such as place keywords with a high number of hits in white font in the white space of the web page. Thus, the words could not be seen by humans looking at the pages, but the search engine results returned these pages at a higher rate because the high impact keywords were seen by the search engine.

The downside to such 'black hat' tactics was increasing lack of relevance to the search query in the search engine results page (SERP). For example, if a searcher queried the keyword 'vitamin C" and saw a SERP with the first three links devoted to 'sex', the searcher is going to believe that the search engine is unreliable. The search engines developed techniques to filter out such optimization techniques, which simply made the black hats firms more creative in their goal to increase the amount of web traffic to their customers' web sites.

By the beginning of the 2000's, both sides realized the benefits of working together, rather than competing with one another. Especially following the marketing plan of 'paid inclusion' or pay per click, the search engines realized revenue from successful linking of web pages to the SERP, while web page owners wanted conversion on the increased web page traffic. The benefits of relevance could be seen by both the search engines and the web page owners.

Optimizers still use techniques to increase web traffic to the customer's web page in ways that strain to be relevant while search engines continue to develop ways to forestall tactics which muddy the results page with non relevant entries.

Both the insertion of keywords and phrases which make the web page look differently to spiders than it does to humans viewing the page and the use of so called link farms which purport to make a web page appear more popular to the search engine spider than it really is result in search engine results pages which are less relevant to the search terms.

The guiding principle which should lead search engine optimization techniques is to promote the benefit and usability to the human visitor. A popular concept in web pages today is to remind the viewer that their web pages are written for humans, not for the search engine spiders. <bio>Please consult http://www.teksteel.ca for all your Web marketing needs in Montreal, Canada.
Search engine optimization (SEO) has grown to embrace a number of different practices including everything from enhancing the functionality of a shopping cart to optimizing copy with keywords to adding metatags to your out of context copy. The term used to simply refer to adding metatags but search engine optimization now embraces any technique that makes your web site and web copy more friendly -- period.

Technically the entire business of SEO is divided into two main types -- natural or organic SEO and alogorithmic SEO. The organic type results from have a natural niche to your topic that makes it easy for consumers to find you in the search engine pages. It also refers to pages that are seeded with keywords by your customers such as pinged blogs and forums. The algorithmic type of SEO refers to copy that has been optimized in some manner using keywords and metatags in order to increase search engine relevance.

So what's the difference between organic SEO and algorithmic SEO nowadays? Organic SEO tends to be easier for people to read and algorithmic is friendlier to the search engine spiders. However the idea of organic SEO is more of a buzzword. The most successful SEO appeals first to machine algorithms to increase search engine relevance and secondly to the comprehension of human visitors.

Search engine optimization is something you can do yourself with the aid of a few online gadgets or you can use a service. Often these search engine optimizers practice black hat SEO, which uses slightly unethical ways to increase your page's rankings in the search engines. It is a good idea to ask your SEO experts if they use white hat or black hat SEO as you are the one who is penalized for less than ethical practices. Sometimes all you need to accomplish your SEO needs is one talented writer who can write SEO copy for you. <bio>Chris Angus is a SEO and website promoter, he can be contacted at sales(at)brilliantseo.com http://www.chooseinsurance.co.uk http://www.mobility-direct.co.uk http://www.illustratemyname.com </bio>

Once you have chosen your domain name, registered it, bought a hosting and created your basic web site it is time to make sure your site and each individual page are prepared for search engine "spidering". Spidering is the colloquial name for the act of the search engine programs following links throughout the web looking for and cataloging website pages.

Page Names:

The name of each page should not only describe the content of that page but should have a search term oriented name. If the page on your site had to do with the advantages of living in Houston, Texas you may want to call the page something on the order of "houston-living". This way as the search engine "spiders" search the Internet for website content to display they will know what this page is about.

Site Map (For Visitors):

You should create a separate page linked from every page of your site including your home page. Call it sitemap.htm or sitemap.html. On this page you list, in some logical manner, every page on your site with hyperlinks to each page. The links should contain the search term that is emphasized for that particular page. The site map serves two distinct purposes. One is for the benefit if human site visitors. If a visitor ever gets lost on your site they can always go to your site map to find the page they are looking for. The other benefit is that it ensures that the search engine robots (spiders) will not miss any page of your site.

Site Map (For the Search Engines)

A site map done for the search engines is created in a special format. Instead of the page name ending in .htm or .html this page will end is .xml. When Google, Yahoo and MSN go through the Internet looking at websites finding this kind of page helps them ensure they catalog every page of your site. It's very much to your benefit to have one of these pages on your website and this could be said to be one of the step zeroes of Search Engine Optimization.

Meta Tags:

In the header tag of each page you should provide tags that describe the page. There is some disagreement amongst optimizers as to the value of these tags. Some search engines use the information in these tags and some do not. Since any search engine can provide valuable traffic to your site it is best not to omit this step. A rule of thumb is to use the search term once in the Title Tag, once or twice is the Description Tag, and once or twice in the Keywords Tag.

Several sites offer free meta tag creators. Just search Google or Yahoo for "free meta tag creator" or "free meta tag generator".

Keyword Density:

Use your search term once in a heading. Use it once in the url (what you named your page). Use it once in bold on the page and once in italics. Use the search term toward the top of the page and once at the bottom of the page.

The above is the basic outline of the frequency, placement and formatting of your search term on the page.

Each search engine looks for a different keyword density based on how their algorithm (software program that adjudicates the relative value and placement of web sites) is written. And these are often changed. So it is far better to follow these very basic steps and not pull your hair out trying to write pages specifically for each search engine.

That's about it for a basic outline of on-page optimizing and preparing your pages for the search engines.<bio>Meridith Berk is one of the founders of UltimateSitePromotion.com one of the oldest and most respected Search Engine Optimizing and Pay Per Click management firms on the Internet.
Search engine optimization is the process of using natural search methods to take advantage of search engine algorithms. This process allows the web site in question to appear earlier on the results page when the search results page is returned to the person making the query. Those sites with an earlier appearance on the results pages are said to have a higher rank

Specialists in the process of revising web pages so that they will have a higher rank usually work in one of two ways. The first group is known as 'white hat' optimizers and the second group is, of course use 'black hat' methods. The labels put upon the two groups would make the clients think that white hats are always good methods, while black hats are somewhat shady and perhaps even illegal. Actually, this overstates the characteristics on both sides.

Both groups attempt to determine from anecdotal evidence what the secret algorithms of the major search engines are. Interestingly enough, the number one search engine, Google, uses a different premise than that of the next two most popular search engines--MSN and Yahoo. Google's PageRank processes assumes that the web pages in a certain grouping or subject which receives the most links to other pages on the same subject is the one recognized as the 'authority' on the subject. Yahoo and MSN are more inclined to look at how effectively and how often certain search terms, known as 'keywords' are being used in a particular site.

From that starting point in each search engine, the algorithms used vary. For example, one search engine may look at how early in the page the keywords are used. Google theoretically looks at the value of the incoming links to a web site. A web page which has good incoming links and few outgoing links will rank higher than one which has many incoming links and many outgoing links.

So, in practice, both the white hats and the black hats are after the same goal. The differences between the two come down to the approach that is taken and how effective it is in getting past the search engine spiders who 'crawl' the web pages. A white hat optimizer will attempt to write web page content that reads well for humans as well as spiders, but to utilize key words and page links effectively in order to increase the rankings. A black hat optimizer may be less concerned about the way the web page reads to humans, and instead try to circumvent the intention of the search engine in the first place. For example, until it was discovered and taken into account in the algorithms, link farms were used to sell links to web pages. Another favorite 'black hat' technique was to use white font messages which could be read by the search engines, but did not appear visible to humans Again, as soon as this technique was identified by those who write the algorithms it was blocked.

Search engines sometimes take the drastic step of removing pages which are determined to be using 'black hat' techniques from the search engine results pages. <bio>Please consult http://www.teksteel.ca for all your Web marketing needs in Montreal, Canada.
If you want to have a successful Internet business, you need to have a good understanding of the surfing habits of your readers--and more specifically, how they find information on a major search engine.

Studies show that 85% of users rely on major search engine to find info. The most popular major search engine is the Google search engine. When they look for information on a major search engine, they type certain key words or phrases. You need to find the phrase that will lead them to you.

Almost half of all Internet surfers type several words when they look for information on a major search engine. They have learned that with the millions of websites listed on a major search engine, using key phrases rather than words will narrow down the search of that major search engine.

For example, someone who is researching on scrapbooking on a major search engine will probably key in "scrapbooking clubs", "scrapbooking contests" or even "free scrapbooking fonts". If you want to be on the top results of the major search engine, you need to contain these key phrases.

There are many companies that can give you a list of the most popular queries made on each major search engine. However, bear in mind that you don't want to use a key phrase that is being used by several websites, as that means you will be competing with all of them for good search engine placement.

Do a little research to find out how people will look for information related to your product, and how they would post this question on a major search engine. You should also consider a key word's common misspellings (e.g. scrap booking) as even the best major search engine will see it as a separate topic.

You should also submit your site to more than one major search engine. Studies show that 77% use several major search engine to research.

Plus the different major search engine have unique techniques for indexing sites, so your ranking on one major search engine will be different from your ranking on another major search engine. <bio>To learn more about how to claim $50 in FREE Advertising, plus easily earn Pay-Per-Click money to promote your Web site(s), go to http://www.bigdaddypays.com/payperclick Steve pavis tries to be at the cutting edge of new concepts that are profitable for the small to medium size business, who need all the help they can get.
Simply stated a Search Spider is a Computer Program. Most computers have a software program you can use to find files on your computer. The program you use to do this is a basic search function. Search Engines collect data from all over the web. The program Search Engines use is a much more complex program that looks for information on the internet. Not an actual spider but the program acts like it "owns the web" looking for whatever is out there to take a snap shot of it, (cache) so it can keep track of what is developing on a site over time, to analyze it for content. It looks for links pointing at other websites, like the strands of a spider web that connect the internet.

The Search Engine needs to determine if the website has any relevant information on it. Just because it is built doesn't mean humans will find it. The Search Engine Spider gathers information from millions of sites constantly. The Search Engine then takes the data presented by the Spider and applies a formula (algorithm) to the information.

The Formula is a mathematic equation that has (in the case of Google over two hundred) individual elements, that determine a value of the website. That value is referred to as a Page or Trust Rank. Websites that are determined to be relevant and have established a good history with the Search Engine will be presented at the beginning of the Search Results.

Resistance is Futile

The computer storage space required by the major Search Engines is staggering because they don't just take a snap shot of an individual website, they store the information from that website and assimilate it into it's data base. It then compares several "snap shots" of that same website over time to establish a trust value to the site. Multiply that with all the other sites on the internet and you can begin to understand the challenge.

Couple that with then retrieving those sites, ranking them in importance and relevance for a given search anytime a user like you wants to do a search and you begin to understand the complexity of the task. Since a Search Engine is only good as the results it produces for a search, you can see why some websites don't even get stored in the data base.

The old commercial where as soon as a website went live on the internet, customers began finding it and flooding it with orders was pure fiction. This is not "Field Of Dreams," where, "If you build it, they will come." You have to establish your site as worthy to be included in the game.

Search Engines zealously guard their system for sorting information. Search Engine Optimizers have to study the Search Engines to determine what is relevant to the algorithm to learn how to best present a website to be determined worthy of high search results. It is a full time operation because Search Engines are constantly reworking their algorithm elements to keep their information accurate. If you don't have that kind of time you need a SEO Pro to do it for you.<bio>The Author has owned his own business for more than 20 years with extensive online marketing experience.
A search engine is a computer program that searches a resource to return a response for specific inquiries.

The program is initiated when a query is put to the program in the form of "find information related to ____". The blank would be a Key word, or the variable.

In your local library the Search Engine could be the card catalogue or the library computer.

The Dewey Decimal System was developed in the late 1800's to assist organization of a resource books, into a system of uniform storage and retrieval. This system of organized recording, storage and retrieval is a form of search engine.

With the advent of computers now days many libraries can link together to enlarge their available resources without having to duplicate their inventory to match every other library.

On the internet, the resources are not a finite number of books in a physical location but a constantly growing network of information in the form of individual websites.

A Search Engines value is determined by its end user, you, and your determination of the relevance of the response it generates to a query. If you found the results to your search less than helpful, you would go to another Search Engine.

In other words, Search Engines are designed to provide relevant answers to search queries.

Search queries are framed by looking for related terms or "Keywords."

How a modern Search Engine does this is by sending out a program of its own to search the internet by following connections from one website to another (links). This search engine initiated search program is often referred to as a Spider.

The Search Spider is not a human. So it does not read or follow the information as a human would. It must read not only the content of the page that a human can see, but also the code that holds the internet together. The Hyper Text Markup Language, or HTML.

HTML frames the website in a uniform way so that your browser knows how to present it to you the human user.

By following links from one website to another, the search spider finds new information, and determines its relevance. Simply stated the Search Spider scans the text of a given website, both the visible and coded, makes a determination of its contents and gives the page a numerical value. That value is then added to or taken away from based on the number of other websites linking to that page and the quality of those pages.

Because the people behind the Search Engines know that they must present the best most relevant information for any given search, they work hard to adjust the program to be as accurate as possible at all times. Because there is so much money at stake, through revenue generated by business online, there are individuals that would attempt to falsely manipulate those search results to favor their websites. For this reason, the Search Engine Program is zealously guarded by its owners and continuously adjusted to avoid being fooled into presenting an irrelevant result.

This is why business owners need to have Search Engine Optimizers A SEO Pro to present their website in a way that the Search Engines can find it relevant and trustworthy enough to rank well in Search Results.<bio>The Author has owned his own business for more than 20 years with extensive online marketing experience.
One of the most important tricks in internet marketing is that keywords are important for search engine ranking.

To get high search engine ranking, you need to discover what keywords your visitors use, and to avoid keywords which you will share with a lot of other websites.

One thing to remember is that your readers will use a variety of keyword combinations. To improve your search engine ranking you need to include all those possible variations.

For example, "keyword" can be typed as "keywords", "Keyword", or "keywords". Wordtracker or another similar service can help you get all the terms you need so you can improve your search engine ranking.

Once you get your keywords, you need to use them frequently in your website so web crawlers will think that your site is relevant and automatically give you a higher search engine ranking. Of course peppering your article with keywords is not enough.

The position of your keywords is crucial to your search engine ranking. For example, using keywords in your title and at the start of the article gives a better search engine ranking than putting them at the end of the article. Your links should also either use your keyword or be surrounded by them--another trick to good search engine ranking.

But even if you use thousands of keywords in your website, if you are competing for a commonly used keyword then it would be difficult to get a good search engine ranking--competition is just too tough. In this case, it would be better to use a keyword which less websites use, so your search engine ranking improves.

How would you know which keywords would improve your search engine ranking? Aside from Wordtracker, you can try looking at the service you provide and the common situations or questions that would prompt people to do a search engine google search.

For example, someone researching on keywords is probably studying search engine ranking, improving search engine ranking, search engine ranking tips, and how to get higher search engine ranking.

Study these variations and incorporate them in your site, and you'll achieve higher search engine placement just by modifying your keywords.
When deciding how to promote your business, you will likely type "search engine marketing" into your favorite search engine to discover how to get your company to the top of the list.

Search engine marketing can be a very difficult topic to understand. People who say that they understand it usually have a general idea of what is going on, but can't tell you the details about it. In fact, even if you decide to contact a search engine marketing firm, they might not be able to explain search engine marketing to you adequately, unless you are really familiar with a lot of Internet and marketing terms. They may use a lot of buzz words to get you excited about something that you really don't understand.

So how do you know if you are getting a good deal or not when working with the search engine marketing consultant, especially, if they might not even be able to explain it well enough for you to understand? How do you know if you are comparing apples to apples or apples to oranges?

The answer to these questions is that you have to do a lot of research on search engine marketing. It isn't rocket science, but it's also not something that you can understand it one day. A good search engine marketing consultant is going to give you information and resources on how to understand the process and what they can do for you, and then expect you to trust them to do your search engine marketing.

Finding a good search engine marketing firm is as easy as asking for a recommendation from some of your friends or contacts that are in the same business as you. If they are using a search engine marketing service and are satisfied with the results, they will be more than likely to give you the contact information. If they are using a search engine marketing service and are not happy with the results, they'll probably tell you that as well.

Taking your time when making a decision on which search engine marketing scheme to go with is going to be your best bet. You don't have to decide to go with the first firm you talk to, and if you're not comfortable with the plan, or still don't understand it fully, you can always wait for a firm that can explain this complicated procedure to you properly.

In order to save money, you need to understand this stuff before you start a campaign. A good company is going to make sure that you have all the tools to understand exactly what they are going to provide, how they are going to provide it and what the expected results could be.

Getting to the top of the search engine results may be your goal, and the best way to do that is to make sure that you understand how to market your business, and how search engine marketing can play a role. When deciding how much money to put into your advertising budget, make sure to include search engine marketing as part of your budget along with other Internet and non-Internet advertising ideas. <bio>Netresults.ie specialises in search engine marketing.
If you have been practicing search engine optimization you probably already know that it is a good idea to include quotes in your keywords and keywords phrases to make your web copy more attractive to the search engines. You probably also know that is a good idea to put things that your site specifically sells in quotes so that the search engine spiders see you as having exclusive or specialized content or information. However there are a few more tips that come along with creating SEO keywords and phrases that are less well known.

Many SEO experts advise practicing word stemming. This means that when you do find a keyword that works that you should not hesitate to use it in the words different forms. For example take the phrase "SEO optimization". You might also want to use phrases such as SEO optimizing, SEO optimized and SEO optimizers which branch out linguistically from your original keyword.

Another big tip is to avoid using what are called kill terms. This is just a phrase for conjunctions and prepositions that are largely ignored by the search engines. Common kill terms include a, an and, at, by, for, in, it, of, the too, to, web and with.

Yet another tip is to be aware of case sensitive keywords. When in doubt you should always submit them in lower case. However when it comes to names and places you might also want to put things in their proper cases. For instance if you are searching for Frank Kern you will want to put in Frank Kern as well as frank kern. Some experts even advise putting in a keyword all in caps as in FRANK KERN as many individuals have stuck capital key caps when they search. The search engine that is thought to be most sensitive to case is Alta Vista.

Chris Angus is a SEO and website promoter, he can be contacted at sales(at)brilliantseo.com

New Baby Gift Mobility Scooters Windows Faringdon <bio>Chris Angus is a SEO and website promoter, he can be contacted at sales(at)brilliantseo.com http://www.illustratemyname.com http://www.mobility-direct.co.uk http://www.everest-oxfordshire.co.uk </bio>

If you have wanted to get your site higher on the results page when customers search for it on the World Wide Web, you probably are wondering how to do it. Here is how you are going to get your search engine optimization SEO done in a day, and then be able to forget about it.

Search engine optimization SEO is the way to get your page to the top of the search engines. There are several ways to start a campaign. The most difficult way is to do the search engine optimization SEO yourself. The easiest way is to go with a search engine optimization company that will do the dirty work for you. A search engine optimization agency is going to save you time and frustration, because they know what they are doing.

Getting search engine optimization set up in a day is totally possible. Of course, you aren't going to jump to the top of the Google results for your particular product overnight, but you can get the wheels in motions to slowly climb the pages until you are near the top.

The first step to doing search engine optimization SEO is to list your goals. If you want more customers to see your products, want to create buzz, or just want more traffic to your site, make sure to write it down. When you know what you want, you will be able to tell the search engine optimization agency, and compare agencies easily.

After you have your goals for a search engine optimization SEO campaign, you are going to look for a search engine optimization firm to do all of this for you. The best way to find a good company to do the dirty work for you is to find someone who has done this in the past and can give you a recommendation. If you don't have a personal recommendation, you can always enter "search engine optimization firm" in the search field and see what comes up first. The best people in the business are going to be on the first couple of pages. If they can't even get their own company towards the top of the search results, how will they get your company there?

When contacting a search engine optimization company, you are going to want to be as specific as you can about your goals and your website. You wrote down what you want, so it should be no problem to tell them what you want.

If you don't feel totally comfortable, shop around. If a search engine optimization company is pushing you to make a decision right away, you should probably decide to not go with them. A good agency will be open to you looking around, seeing if they offer the best services. If they aren't too excited about you shopping their competition, there should be some red flags.

By the time you have found a search engine optimization SEO company to do your marketing campaign, it will be around 4:30, and you may be ready to sign the contract. Make sure you read it carefully, being fully sure that it is what you want. Taking the extra half an hour to look at all of the fine print may just save a headache in the future.

It's time to go home from work, and at the end of the day you should feel good about being on the way to the top of the search results. <bio>Netresults.ie provides the best search engine optimization SEO advice in Ireland!
Do you know what search engine optimization is? If you do know what this phrase means, you are better off than most people who are trying to advertise their business. If you don't know, there is many a search engine optimization firm that will try to teach you in return for giving your business to them.

So what exactly is search engine optimization? Search engine optimization is getting your business or website to the top of the search engine results by using certain keywords and other advertising techniques to help you out. If you are going to use a search engine optimization agent, who is going to basically do the work for you, you may have to pay a lot of money, depending on what type of company you have. Certain companies are going to be more expensive to promote and other companies, just because they are in a very competitive area. For example, if you are selling clothing, the costs of a search engine optimization campaign is going to be larger than if you are selling something less common like coffee filters. More people search for clothing on the Internet than they do for a coffee filters, which means that a search engine optimization company is going to charge you more money for this type of campaign.

Search engine optimization can get you to the top by increasing the number of people who click on your website. You may not know this, but the order of the website search results are listed by surfer popularity. This means that it is difficult to get to the top, but once you are there and have a quality business, you are likely to stay there.

A search engine optimization agency is going to take the work out of Internet advertising for you. Before, it could kind of get confusing when trying to figure out how exactly to get to the top of the search results. Even now, most people don't do their search engine optimization by themselves. Instead, they find someone to do it for them

A search engine optimization firm is going to find out who your competition is, do a bit of link tracking and then find out what the best keywords are for your website. If you are dealing with a reputable search engine optimization agency, they are not going to recommend using keyword spamming, which can leave customers to your website very frustrated and annoyed. Keyword spamming is going to bring a lot of traffic to your site, but it is also going to bring a lot people to your site that just aren't interested in what you are offering.

For search engine optimization, you really have find a search engine optimization company that knows what they're doing and can bring the right type of customer to your company. If you don't get the right type of customer, you are not going to get an increase in business. In fact, having the wrong type of search engine optimization can actually hurt your business, making your website look disreputable and cheap. <bio>Netresults.ie is a specialist search engine optimization company in Ireland .Sign up for your free web site review on video from Ireland's leading search engine optimization firm at http://www.netresults.ie/search-engine-optimisation/ </bio>

It is a fact that Google is the craze right now, but keep in mind the other search engines. I recollect when it was time Yahoo was the top search engine and before that it was Altavista on top. I wonder where that has gone. It is bizarre to know that Yahoo search engine has been completely dominated by other engines. This is not the complete truth. Due to metasearch engines, the Yahoo engine is still significant. Many use this metasearch tools, such as dogpile.

If you wish your site to rank high it should be objectionable to rank high wit yahoo or any other search engine. Tools exist on the Yahoo engine to enhance the ranking of your website and if you happen to run a web based bsiness, they can be of high amount of assistance to make your ratings rise higher like a bird!

Yahoo search engine is not my personal choice when compared to Google. I have reasons for this choice.I found this site very helpful http://www.commcloset.com. Google sorts out spam and other junk in an efficient manner and provides you quality hits as compared to Yahoo search engine. Its better to avoid Yahoo search engine if you wish not to browse through a host of spam. No one has time to waste on junk. This is the reason why Google is doing better than Yahoo.

I have even heard somewhere that Yahoo search engine actually allows people to pay to increase their rating on the site. This is not advertising I am referring to. Google has them and so does every other engine, its not a big deal. You can tell by the way the ads are put up and some of them might be of help to you. But if Yahoo is the search engine of your choice then it becomes an entirely different issue.

You will have to wade your way through a whole lot of paid ads that are intelligently mixed with the valid results from the search you requested. Although other services Yahoo offers are good, for instance, Yahoo maps is the best direction service as per my opinion, yet when it comes to a search engine they are lousy at it and it is only the search engine that I am concerned about. <bio>Ron Electrick loves working with the following sites: http://www.informationinquiry.com http://www.sciencecanbefun.com </bio>
