There are more articles than you can count on the internet that all you need to know these days is a mode to search for the right kind of information. That being said, there is a scramble among the different website owners to check for the data being searched by the users so that they can direct these gullible users into visiting their websites and thereby generating revenue for them. The scholarly articles are the ones published by academic publishers or professional organizations.

The targeted audience for these kinds of scholarly articles is usually consistent of specialists in professions and academic disciplines. These scholarly articles are usually subscribed by the individual scholars or university libraries. These articles are taken to be the ones with validation by the academics. Scholarly articles in publications receive what is called in the academic world as peer review and they are authentic.

Before the scholarly articles are in for publication, it is reviewed and accepted by the scholars in the respective field to judge for the scholarly merit, the research value and accuracy. Scholarly articles are normally indicative of the credentials of the particular author and also explain in detail the methodology of research and list the respective footnotes or references used to write the article.

There is the difficulty in order to get to the articles. This is because people write their own articles these days and there have been changes all along the way. There are not a lot of people who have the talent for placing the keywords carefully in the text. There are however more than just writing articles but also placing them on the internet so that they require optimization to get the right keywords in the right places to cater to the search results in the searches initiated by the users.

To find scholarly articles can be quite daunting if you are not aware of what to look for. There are a few for starters as given here. They are written with more scholarly jargon that is understood mostly by the academic fraternity. The scholarly articles are more structured which are likely to include sections like abstract, literature review and conclusion. This is one of the ways to weed out the normal articles that do not follow any specific structure. These articles are also supported by graphs, statistics and photographs. The articles also provide a bibliography that documents the research and possibility for further research. <bio>Roel Sundiam writes articles for http://www.articles3000.com.
Articles are those that are available in plenty these days in the internet. The articles are written by everybody these days and those articles are found to have different types these days. There are scholarly articles that are very informative down to the last number while there are just popular articles that give you information but are not as exhaustive as the scholarly ones. The popular articles can be identified in many ways.

The popular articles are pretty much based on the current topics and are more likely to find place in the magazines and newspapers. They are based on news stories and also magazines. It is important to differentiate between the scholarly articles and the popular press articles. The problem with that while the scholarly articles are very informative, they present only information to the people with the least of interest in the subject, or sometimes have no idea on the subject and the methodology discussed. They are made for by the popular articles that give in information that is only required by the reader. Even in the internet the website owners have recognized this trend and have started to supply only intended information in the form of popular articles.

In general, articles obtained from the scholarly press are viewed as the ones with more authority on the subject. They are a result of a more painstaking research and documentation. The popular articles on the other hand are written by anyone to fulfill the needs of the target audience. They are published more quickly as they are seldom verified.

And offer a less authoritative point of view. There are however points to be noted that both types of articles are visual and content-oriented. It is also important in the context of the articles viewed over the internet that the distinction is made to understand the difference in point of view.

The difference in the types of articles is that popular articles do not have any reference and certainly do not follow any specific structure. They are prone to mistakes in the statistics presented and also sometimes in the facts listed. The popular articles are not verified by academics or the experts in the field. Popular articles are based on the searches made by the users and also on the keywords searched. The keywords have an important bearing on the popular articles as they present the key in catering those articles to the users searching for it. The popular articles are generally to be found on the news websites and also sites that cater to specific issues like sports, environment and the others. <bio>Roel Sundiam writes articles for http://www.articles3000.com.
This is one of the most frequently asked questions I get from clients. It isn't that one is better than the other. Both have their purpose. However, the purpose for each is far different and you should not get article marketing confused with press releases.

Of course good copywriting is essential to both a press release and article marketing. And both are optimized to contain your keywords for seo purposes. But the relationship between article marketing and press releases ends there.

Article Marketing is the distribution of well-written, informative articles to article directories in the hopes that they will get syndicated by or reprinted on other websites and blogs. Article marketing helps with link popularity for this reason.

Article Marketing helps with branding you as an expert in your field and can drive traffic directly to your website if readers like the article.

Press Releases are written to announce a newsworthy event. They are distributed to news websites, news agencies, news blogs, newsletters, etc. They are not the same as an article.

Most press releases I see submitted aren't newsworthy at all however. People are using press release distribution to send out articles. They have article marketing and press releases all mixed up.

I read press releases that sound like sales letters all the time. Pure self-promotion is not a press release at all. It's a sales letter sent out through a press release distribution center.

People who see these know the difference. News agencies who could be printing or redistributing your press release to a wider audience can see the difference at a glance.

If you do not know how to write news, you do not know how to write a press release. Unfortunately, many of the people on the web who offer to write press releases for money don't really know how to write press releases either. They know you don't know the difference between a press release and an article or sales letter either, so they get away with charging money for the service.

Go to any press release website. read the press releases. You'll see more than 50% are self-promotion or just articles. If it doesn't read like something you would read in a newspaper, it isn't a press release.

You can do a press release in the first person or from the company perspective, but you have to be announcing something that is newsworthy. Something new happening. Something that people will want to know about. A merger, an acquisition, a partnership, a new website launched, (Can only be done once!), a new blog launched, are all things that can be newsworthy and must be presented as a news item, not as a "Come Visit MY Website Please!" article.

Press releases do even better if written as a reporter would write about your announcement. The Reporter, (press release writer), can even interview you and others at your company for quotes to use in the press release.

People are hungry for news. A press release should only be distributed if there is news to announce. Yes you want to optimize your press release for the search engines but SEO is not the number one purpose for distributing a press release.

Announcing something newsworthy is the first reason. You only optimize it because it is being distributed on the web and that is the secondary purpose for the press release, not the first.

If you want good results for the money you spend on a press release, do them sparingly and only when you have something newsworthy to announce. You'll get more bang for your buck, more traffic, more people reading about you, and you'll make back your investment every time. <bio>Chris McElroy has been involved in Internet Marketing since 1995.
Once upon a time a press release was sent to the nearest newspaper in the hopes that at least some of the release might make it to newsprint. Today a press release to a local newspaper may be included only as an afterthought.

In marketing your website the use of a press release can be an effective means of drawing people to your website.

Certainly there are skills involved in writing a press release and there are plenty of qualified freelance writers who can assist you in the development of a solid press release. However, as with any new process it is possible to learn the skill of press release writing.

In today's online community the press release is about more than trying to pass muster with the news media. Today press releases are routinely found on individual websites and can be picked up by affiliated websites. In essence when a press release is written it needs to appeal to the news media, but it also needs to connect with the public.

Many online businesses will place a 'press release' section on their website as a means of keeping visitors informed of new developments within the company or the website.

A press release can be developed for a significant number of events. For instance, if you provide a new website design you could send out a press release talking about the new design and the reasons this design is more functional and useful to your customers. If you launch a new service, a press release can be an easy way to encourage the curious to come take a look. If you have added a new line to your existing offerings, a press release can alert your customers and potential clients to the good news. If you've won an industry award a press release can work to instill a greater degree of trust in your firm.

There are several online companies that handle the distribution of press release information. Perhaps one of the most well known is PR Newswire, but there are other services available. Many of these services require a fee for distribution.

Many online netrepreneurs have learned that the effective distribution of strategic press releases can provide a sizeable return on investment in the form of new clients and unique visitors.

When you have good news you shouldn't hesitate to share it in the form of a press release. This is just one more online marketing tool worth exploring. <bio>Scott Lindsay is a web developer and entrepreneur. He is the founder of HighPowerSites and many other web projects.
Marketing experts say that press releases are a very important part of any campaign to generate traffic to your website. This is a very good way to boost traffic to your website especially when you are having a product launch or launching a new website or contest.

The main site to submit your press release to is located at <a href="http://www.prweb.com" >http://www.prweb.com. There are more of these sites to submit press releases to, but this is considered to be the main one. These guys have an assortment of press release options which can go from zero dollars to above five hundred dollars. One would think the more you pay the better distribution you will receive. That is to say that if you pay zero dollars your press release may have as many as a few thousand views while a paid press release of five hundred dollars may be viewed by as many as tens of thousands of visitors.

There are a few things you must consider which are very important when typing up a press release.

One of the things you must take in to consideration is to pay attention to the submission guidelines of the particular service of press releases you wish to take part in. Some of these services want a formatting of a certain amount of characters that you use on each line of your release. There are a number of things they may ask you do to qualify for their press release and you will want to take note of them before submitting your press release.

The next import factor to take into consideration is the way you construct your press release. This is not the same as writing an article, there are some things that should be written a little differently.

The basic structure of your press release should be to start with a title that compels the largest possible audience of readers to your topic. Try to keep your title strong but leave your readers in suspense. Make them want to know what is in your press release so they will click to see what it is all about.

Now that you have your readers in suspense wanting to know what else you have to say, you can do the body in one of two ways. You can do it in the form of a newspaper and get you readers to read all the important stuff right off the start and then simmer down as you go. The next choice you have is to make it like a story and not to give your readers any of the important stuff to the end. Build up to the best parts of your release keeping them in suspense. This method seems to be the best for generating traffic to a website. <bio>To get sizzling red hot targeted traffic to your website visit the Author's website at http://affiliatemarketinggenius.com/redhotsite1.htm The Author allows the use of this article as long as this text resource remains with it and the links remain usable. </bio>

The number one mistake that those who are new to press releases make is that they make it sound too much like a sales letter. A press release is used to promote your company or product, but making you press release a rewrite of your "Sales" page is not a good idea. A press release is written to get your business featured in a major newspaper, magazine, or web site. Hence, before you start writing your press release, I strongly recommend that you take some time to read some of the articles that are written in the Business sections of popular newspapers such as The New York Times or Wall Street Journal, as well as read some of the articles about businesses in a niche magazine or web site that matches the niche of your company. These news stories were most likely based on press releases that the company wrote and thus, you should see what type of information is included in these articles and then include similar information in your company's press release.

Although it would be nice if a major news publication wrote an article that went on praising your company and your product, the vast majority of credible news sources do not do this and instead provide the facts and their own opinions, not opinions presented in a press release. Hence, to get the most coverage and best possible results from your press release, simply state the facts and if you want to give opinions, do so in quotes as most news stories include direct quotes from company officials. The overall goal of a press release is to generate buzz and interest in your company's product or service; however, if you make your press release a reworded sales copy, you will get very little coverage from your release and many companies many press release distribution services may reject you press release all together.

Hence, the bottom line is this: Only state the facts in your press release and do not go too deep into giving opinions. When you finish writing your press release and proof read it, make sure it sounds like an article you would expect to find in a credible news source. If it does, than chances are you wrote a good press release and it will get picked up by many sources. If it doesn't, then you have some editing that you need to do to "polish up your press release" and increase the chances of getting major news articles. <bio>Falco Pangkey is the owner and writer of http://www.freepublicity.eu.
One of the most powerful site promotion tools is the press release. A quality press release submitted to the right news distribution portal will definitely bring important revenue if its content is of interest, qualitative and actual (yes, that's what press releases are for!).

News distribution portals and services are used by thousands of journalists all around the world. If your press release has it all, you'll probably see it published in thousands of other locations: online or offline. All in all: a good press release will attract immediate attention to your business and website. Unlike articles, that bring you visitors a long time after their first release, press releases have a shorter life. That's why it is so important to write them well.

A well-written online press release has another important advantage: it will increase the number of one way links to your website, thus your search engine ranking. So, although the traffic boost will not last long, you gain by having your press release archived in an online searchable database.

Write Well

Editors will not just publish anything. Your press release needs to respect a few important guidelines.

1. The layout is very important. Your first paragraph should always answer the following five questions: "who?", "what?", "when?", "where?", "why?". Limit your press release to one or two pages and always end your press release with a conclusion.

2. Always write the content from the view of the public. Highlight customer benefits, not your own. Know your audience and "think" your audience.

3. Always use proper grammar and spelling. Avoid other silly mistakes such as wrong date, misspelled names, etc.

4. Last but not least, always sign your press release and provide contact information. There is no such thing as an anonymous press release.

Your press release has to be newsworthy. What you might consider great may have little or no importance for your readers. A press release is not a sales brochure it's an announcement. It publicizes an event, a new, extraordinary product or a service. It does not repeat the contents of your website and it does not tell stories that have been told.

Submit Well

Once you have a quality press release you need a quality submission service to reach a broad audience. You need to know that you'll get what you are paying for. PR Newswire is great, reliable and has great coverage. Their fees are fair and accessible. Since this is not an article advertising PR Newswire, I'll include other options too: Eworldwire, PR Web, Submit Express and so on. Just type "press release submission" in any search engine and you'll find plenty of press release submission services, some of them even free.

You should really take care how you write your press release, especially when you pay for submission. For best results I suggest you hire a professional writer. Note that the press submission services listed above do provide press release writing services. But: don't pay for a press release writing service UNLESS your press release is newsworthy for your potential clients. <bio>Scott Lindsay is a web developer and entrepreneur.
Your eBay store is a nice little useless piece of virtual real estate if there are no visitors to the store. Needless to say, it also does not generate the income you want or thought it would generate, which was the primary reason why you had put up the store in the first place and continue to pay the store fees every month.

Having your store listed in the eBay stores category pages has its uses. However, realistically, your store is probably tucked away on page two hundred, never to be found because no eBay buyer has the patience to wade through all those screens.

Sure, you can pay a pretty penny to have your store listing bumped up to a more readily findable position.

However, there is a way to attract a lot of targeted attention to your eBay store that will cost you absolutely nothing.

It is called press releases.

There are services on the web that send out press releases to hundreds of news services and also email the press releases to thousands of journalists who opted in to receive press releases for a particular industry or niche.

Two of the more popular press release sites are pr.com and prweb.com. There is a host of others as well. Just do a search for andquot;free press releaseandquot; and you will see.

Now, please do not put out a press release that says, andquot;Woohoo, there is yet another store on eBay that sells DVDs, or clothing, or whatever.andquot; Nobody will take any notice of such a press release.

You either need to find something newsworthy about your eBay store, or intentionally create an event that is newsworthy.

Perhaps you've decided to broaden the line of whatever you are selling, perhaps you are offering a seasonal discount, or perhaps you decided to offer free shipping on all your items.

Better yet, perhaps your eBay store has been reviewed by BestAuctionStores.com, where I contribute eBay store reviews. That is a one-time newsworthy event in the life of your store's history, if you have ever wanted to find one.

The press release sites are very helpful in terms of guidance and advice on how to write a press release, if you have never done one before. You could employ an advertising agency to craft the press release for you, but if your store is not yet profitable, I wouldn't advise spending extra money on the press release.

Just get the word out on your store. Sometimes you will make a boo-boo and put out a press release that is really not that newsworthy, but who cares. Nobody is going to break your fingers over it.

The key is, don't put out a press release about your eBay store, put out a press release about an event related to your store. You might get visitors and buyers from sources you didn't even know existed. <bio>Jason Griffith writes eBay Store reviews for http://BestAuctionStores.com (http://www.bestauctionstores.com), a site dedicated to providing eBay Buyers with the ability to review and rate eBay stores. </bio>

It's been around since the late 1800's but really coming into it's own in the early 1900's, the coffee press is a hot coffee brewing device that at first glance looks very simplistic but brews a cup of coffee like no other. Ask any coffee enthusiast about a coffee press pot and chances are you're in for a chat that will last longer then just a minute or two. It's the ultimate brewer to create a fabulous smelling, aroma rich, wonderful flavored, coffee.

How Does A Coffee Press Work?

A coffee press, as mentioned looks like a very simple device, basically like a coffee maker carafe with a rod down the center connected to a round filter. The filter via the rod can be moved from the top to the bottom of the glass carafe, this allows you to separate the coffee grounds from the water.

So how does it actually work? Coffee beans are first ground very coarse, they need to be more coarse then you would use in a drip coffee machine so that when the boiling water is poured over them the water can absorb the flavor, aroma, and acids from the beans. Water is boiled and poured over the grounds with the plunger filter out. The filter is replaced inside the carafe, the rod is pushed downwards into the carafe to separate the grounds form the water, leaving you with a aroma rich pot of coffee.

Pros and Cons of a Coffee Press

Of course any device has it's pros and cons, a coffee press is no different. A die hard coffee fan will surely appreciate the rich flavor textured coffee it produces. Not to mention it doesn't require any paper filters. Of course there is a downside, coffee from a press should be drank almost immediately to really take advantage of the flavor, also there can be some sediment left at the bottom of your cub due to the coarse grounds that are used. Some believe that the sediment that is left can cause your cup to go bitter.

All in all a coffee press is the original way to make a cup of coffee. While things have changed greatly due to technology, it's still a standard for many. Of course an electric machine is faster and easier to use, it doesn't produce the same exquisite taste found from a press. For those that are looking for a time saving option in the morning for their coffee, stick with your auto drip machine, but if you're looking for that all natural wonderfully brewed cup of joe consider a press, even if it's just for the weekends. <bio>For more information on making the perfect cup of coffee with a coffee press pot take some time to browse our http://www.espresso-and-coffee.com/ website with more a </bio>

A major goal for many webmasters is to build many back links for SEO purposes to get their web sites ranked higher in search engines. As a result, many webmasters spend countless hours and hundreds of dollars to build links to their web site. However, there is an easy and inexpensive way to build dozens of links that many simply ignore. Public Relations is of key importance to any company or web site and often times, a Press Release is the greatest tool web site owners have to help spread the word about their company, increase buzz about the web site or the products that are offered, and build dozens of back links from multiple, reputable web sites.

Here, we will go through the process of writing and submitting a press release and include many tips and tricks to help you get the most out of your press release. A press release must be written in a special way and we will go through the process of how to write a press release and where to submit it for best results. However, before we go in depth into how you can best use a press release e need to explain what a press release is.

A press release is a document that is sent out by a company or web site when something that is notable regarding the company occurs. All of the articles you see in newspapers and on web sites such as CNN and Yahoo! are based of press releases that were sent by the company to PR Newswires such as PRWEB or PRLEAP, or sent to the media company directly. Obviously, there are thousands of press releases being sent to major media companies such as CNN or Yahoo! daily so, only the best written press releases that have significance to the average user gets picked up by these companies. Hence, we will spend a lot of time talking about how to write effective press release in future entries. Now, the major purpose of the press release is for public relations and to get newspapers and other large media outlets to pick up the story and present it to a large audience to help generate buzz and interest; however, for many small web site owners who don't have the money to spend building major media contacts or paying someone else to send out your press releases to major media companies, free press release submission at PR Outlets such as PR.com and PRLEAP.com are an inexpensive way to build dozens of back links for purely SEO value.

A press release is of great benefit to any company and web site and we invite you to check back soon for all of the latest tips and tricks regarding press releases. <bio>Falco Pangkey is the owner and writer of http://www.freepublicity.eu.
Although there are different methods for producing a great cup of coffee - from instant coffee to complex cappuccino machines - most people tend to make theirs with the simplicity of an electric coffee maker. But there are other methods accessible to you that can make a great cup of coffee, such as French press coffee. If you haven't seen one in use, then you're missing out on a simple way to produce a rich cup of coffee.

The Pot

The main hardware for French press coffee is the plunger pot, and it's basically all you need in order to make coffee with this method. It consists of a small jug with a sort of plunging mechanism on top. This plunger has a sort of mesh on it which is used to filter out the coffee grounds. In order to make French press coffee, you add water directly to the grounds in your plunger pot and let it steep for a few minutes. You then push down on the plunger to filter out the grounds from the liquid. The making of French press coffee is no more difficult than that, easy enough for anyone to operate.

The Coffee

When you grind your beans for French press coffee, you want to shoot for a coarse grind, since larger pieces will get filtered out better by the mesh of the plunger. French press coffee will produce a stronger brew than you'll get with a coffee machine, which is great if you like a coffee with a lot of flavor. Keep in mind that with this method, there will be some small particles in the coffee after pouring. This is normal, and it doesn't mean that you're doing something wrong.

One thing to know about French press coffee is that it should be served right away, since the water and grounds are still in contact. If you wait too long, the mix will become unpleasantly acidic. So don't make French press coffee and expect it to be good for a second cup in an hour. For this reason, most plunger pots are small in size.

Convenience

French press coffee is remarkably easy to make and low-tech, since you can make it without electricity. For this reason, it's great on camping trips, since the plunger pot fits easily in a backpack and can be used outdoors. Similarly, for those traveling without guarantee of a coffee machine at their destination, a French press coffee jug can fit easily in your travel bag and ensures you can have a cup wherever you go. With the convenience, ease of use, and flavor that French press coffee making provides, it is sure to be a hit with you and your family. <bio>Roland Jefferson is an online researcher based out of Los Angeles, Calfornia.
Contact information is by far the most important part of your press release and you need to make sure that you provide enough information so that a reader of the press release will be able to reach you. There are some news publications that will take your press release and write a news story without contacting you; however, most news sources who want to base a story off of your press releases will attempt to contact you before they write an article to get more information and their own quotes. If their request is not met in an appropriate time frame, they will go with another company. As a result, it is very important that you include a phone number and / or e-mail address that you check frequently so that writers and journalists will be able to contact you and get the information they need quickly.

I know that some will not want to give their personal information as any one will have access to your e-mail address or telephone number and as a result, I suggest that you create a new e-mail account for press releases where journalists can contact you. pr@domain.com is a very common e-mail address for the public relations department of a company or web site. Many companies who are large enough to have their own public relations expert or press release staff use the business e-mail address of their PR personnel to handle all requests for more information.

I know that when many people register at a new web site, they often give fake or incorrect information but a press release distribution web site is the last place you want to do this. If these distribution services realize that the information you gave does not match up, they may not even send out your press release and terminate your account.

Bottom Line: Most journalists and writers who want to write a press release about you or your company will request and require further information before publishing your release so it is vital that you provide correct information in the "Contact Us" section of the press release. If a journalist can not contact you within a reasonable time frame of sending a press request, your news will not be covered and the purpose of the press release will be defeated. Simply put, make sure you can easily be contacted by those who are interested in writing a story based off your press release. <bio>Falco Pangkey is the owner and writer of http://www.Freepublicity.eu.
If you want a good cup a coffee, you will need to add some oil. Coffee oil is very flavorful and improves the taste of coffee, but it is lost during the normal filtered brewing process. Coffee made with a French press doesn't pass through a filter so you don't lose those natural aromatic coffee oils. Most coffee lover's agree that a French press makes a superior cup of coffee.

A French press (sometimes called a coffee press) is usually a glass cylinder with a plumber like device inside. You place your coffee grinds inside and pour hot water into it. The water should not be boiling or you will scald your grinds, which will affect the taste. 200 degree water is the optimum temperature for a fine cup of coffee. If you're using a kettle to heat your water, remove it from the heat before if starts whistling. Either that or you can let the water boil but let it sit for a few minutes before pouring it into your coffee press. Remember to leave at least an inch of space when filling up the French press.

Coffee beans that are ground too finely will clog the filter. You will probably be okay with automatic drip coffee grinds but the best way to enjoy French press coffee is to grind the beans yourself. Try to grind the beans to a size a little bigger than automatic drip coffee grinds. This may take some practice to get comfortable with your coffee grinder but it's worth it. And remember that once you grind your coffee beans they should be used immediately or kept in an air tight container to keep them from getting stale.

Let the coffee steep in the water for about 4 minutes. Now it's time for the press part of the French press. Place the French press on a no slip surface and slowly and smoothly press the plunger down. Press too hard or too quickly and in a worst case scenario, you could have boiling hot water shoot out all over you. This step is how the coffee grinds are forced to the bottom of the container and you're left with delicious fresh brewed coffee in the top chamber. You are now ready to pour and serve.

The French press has undergone a makeover in recent years. Manufacturers have added French presses to travel mugs and thermoses. As long as you have hot water you can make a fresh brewed cup of coffee anywhere. And most of these travel mugs and thermoses are insulated so that your coffee will stay warm longer.

With coffee becoming such an important part of most people's days, isn't it time that we pampered ourselves with a better tasting brew. The French press is an easy and flavorful way to make a cup of coffee. So if you're tired of the brown water that comes out of coffee vending machines in your office, then the French press is perfect for you. <bio>Anthony Tripodi is the webmaster of http://EndlessCoffeeBreak.com - The Guide To Coffee.
One of the most powerful ways to bring traffic into a website and build links is to use press releases.

If you're using online methods to distribute your press release, you'll find that every time you submit on, it will bring in both traffic and links.

Even if your press release doesn't generate any interest from reporters, it will still help your website.

A great press release can completely change your business and bring in a flood of traffic, links, and even get you on CNBC or Oprah.

Even when given all the benefits of press releases, however, most people will never use them.

They have a list of excuses that include: I don't have anything newsworthy; My business is different; I don't know how to write a press release; and this one really befuddles me =96 because someone might actually call them and want to interview them =96 they'd have to *gasp* actually talk about their business to someone.

Of course, they're just that =96 excuses. Coming up with something newsworthy is relatively easy. Any business can benefit from the use of press releases, they're even relatively easy to write. For those who are afraid you might actually have to talk to someone, though, I'm not sure what to tell you =96 a lot of times, no reporters will call, but they might.

Here's a few tips for successful press releases.

1)Headlines Are Vital

Just like a great headline can make or break a salesletter, the headline of your press release can make or break it. If your headline doesn't grab someone's attention, then it doesn't matter how great the rest of your press release is because nobody's going to read it. If you need help coming up with headlines, just go to your library and look at the headlines of magazines and newspapers. You'll find plenty of great headlines within their pages.

2)Not An Advertisement

Remember that your press release is not an advertisement. While you can certainly use them to promote a new product or service in your business, the actual press release should read like it's being written by a neutral third party. Think of yourself as the reporter writing the story about the product, why it was created, and a little history. Don't hype up the product, just give them the facts.

3)Quotes

Have you ever noticed how just about every article you read in a newspaper has a quote from one person or multiple people? That's because quotes make your stories more interesting. Always include a quote from someone in your press release, even if the only person you can quote is yourself.

So next time you're looking for to get more traffic or links to your website, give the press release a try. <bio>Gary Ruplinger is an SEO expert at http://UltimateTrafficBlueprint.com.
If you think you already have everything in your toolbox, think again. Have you checked your toolbox yet? Do you still have your drill press around?

Have you checked your toolbox lately? Do you have a drill press in it? A drill press is a permanent style of drill that may be mounted on a stand or bolted to the floor or workbench. Drill presses let you drill holes in metal, wood and a variety of other materials. There are several important pointers to be considered before buying drill presses.

There are two types available in the market of drill presses. The floor-standing drill press models that tender more power and can typically handle a wider range of materials and the bench-top drill press models that are a lot more compact and they tend to be a little less expensive. They are best apposite for smaller work pieces and less demanding jobs.

Did you know that in terms of swing the size of a drill press is typically measure? Like the bench-top model that typically has a swing of 10" to 12" and it has a capacity that is larger that needs more powerful motor while a floor-standing model has a swing between 15" and 17" that can have one half to three fourth horsepower. Another capacity that you might consider is the quill stroke because it determines how deep you can drill.

You may like to consider a radial press or magnetic press depending on your drilling needs. A radial press is best if you do a lot of angled drilling or you do work with very large items. A magnetic drill press gives enormously powerful operation along with easy portability.

If you cannot afford to buy brand new hand drill press, you can always buy second hand drill presses. You just need to be a little careful about the product and the accessories that come along with it. Please take note that drill presses are available with variable power, attachments and sizes. This will provide certain handy tips and will direct you to the right path in choosing the best-used drill press. First, you make sure that drill press works effortlessly without any hiccups, makes sure that it makes precision holes and look out for the maximum power that is made by the motor. Secondly if you are going to drill through tougher material you have to get a drill press with higher horsepower. Drill presses have horsepower from to 1 horsepower. Thirdly, try drilling holes before making up your mind, also take care that the drill press does not unreasonably heat up or stops rapidly while working.

Then, glimpse if any warranty is still left on the drill press, the more the better and the less the more you should bargain. There are also factory reconditioned drill presses available from different brands; this could also be an exciting basis of getting used drill press and if you don't have any ideas or clues and you are in dire need of a used drill bit always ask someone that is an expert or professional in selling with such tools to make up your final choice. These drilling machines also known as the drill presses are used to make holes in metal with a twist drill. To perform the following basic hole machining operations like tapping internal threads with a utilizing tapping attachment, countersinking, reaming, boring and counter boring, a diversity of other cutting tools are also used. Reamer is a modular design with replaceable cutting head, and easy to change while still in the machine tool spindle.<bio>For more information on Drill Presses please visit our website.</bio>

Used for communicating directly with consumers, press releases have become effective marketing tools that can be found throughout the Internet on websites, search engine listings or in emails. In the past, press releases have been strictly used to communicate between public relation firms and the media in order to promote their products, celebrities or events. Similarly, businesses are now creating their own press release to promote their services.

When a press release is distributed online, it can gain as many as five hundred additional links. The trick to getting more links and listings is using popular keywords in your press release and in the name of the website where it is originally published. News agencies access press releases by using wire websites and, if you are release is search engine optimized, they could come across yours and print it in their newspaper, magazine or on their website.

The full benefits of press releases are often not recognized by business owners or marketers, but its important to make sure that your press release generates as much recognition as possible in order to be syndicated throughout the web. Some tips for achieving this are

Make sure your release is newsworthy because, even if you have a hundred keywords scattered throughout the content, the media will not republish it if it is not interesting and useful content. Be as specific as possible and provided detailed information that is unique and cannot be found elsewhere.

Phrases that contain the most keywords should be located in the title, subheading or towards the beginning of the release in order to be sure the website featuring your press release is ranked higher on search engines.

Press releases should offer more than just information and should include contact information and how a reader can learn more about the business and services. The release should offer links to a businesses website as well as to a place where potential customers can download other informational material such as newsletters, reports, free trials, special offers and white paper downloads.

When sending the release to media outlets, you should also provide a brief summary detailing the content in your press release. You should provide a summary of your business, the services you provide and information about the writer of the release.

Offer your press release to bloggers who write about your industry. When writing about different topics within the field, bloggers will often include a summary or excerpt from company press releases and then credit that business, including their name and website.

When distributed throughout the Internet, a press release can get a lot of exposure and generate traffic for a website, leading to higher sales of products and services. Posted not only on websites, in blogs and in emails, press releases can be printed in traditional forms of media as well, such as magazines and newspapers, but will be viewed much less than it would be if it were posted on the web. The more places your press release is posted, the more links to your website there will be floating throughout the Internet. <bio>James Copper is a writer for http://www.marketinglinx.com </bio>

Tag =96 You're It!

Make it easy for your website visitors to tag you. Help your readers to spread the word about your content through social book marking and social networking. Provide links to social networking site on the end of your articles. Social book marking sites enable readers to share your book marks publicly, tagging them to help others to find them. When you have great articles on your website your readers will tag them so other people can find them.

Press Releases

Keyword rich press releases are similarly effective to writing articles. PRWeb is one of the most popular press release systems. A press release is great tool to announce a change to your company such as the redesign of your website or to announce a new product. Your press release could result in an interview with a newspaper or magazine editor.

Historically, press releases were aimed at news editors. Today, press releases are aimed directly at web surfers. Your job is to write an interesting press release with quality content. You only have a few seconds to convince the reader that your press release is worth reading. Your title and the first couple of sentences are the most important components of a great press release. Focus on what your audience wants to read not what you want to write.

Page Elements

Write catchy page titles. Perform a search with some of your most relevant keywords. Examine the first page results, and see which one grabs your attention. Write down the most captivating page titles, and see if you can write better ones for your pages. The same is true for your Meta description tags. Even though, some search engines no longer list Meta description content it won't hurt to have a catchy description.

Name your images with your keywords within the image file name. For example, if you have images of candles on your site, name the image files such as "candle-product-name.jpg," or "candle-product-description.jpg." Search engines might give you traffic based on your image file names. With minimal effort people performing an image search could land on your website. <bio>George Meszaros with Webene http://www.webene.com </bio>

Writing a press release doesn't need to be difficult. Here are 10 tips for writing a successful press release.

1 - You are writing for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/journalists" rel="tag">journalists Press releases aren't for customers or consumers they are for reporters, journalists who will use them as a starting point for a larger story or feature. Write your story as you would like to have it told. Press releases written as sales pieces will be completely ignored. The points you make in your press release and the order in which you make them may direct the journalist in how to develop the story.

2 - Start with a strong "lead" The first paragraph of the press release is known as the "lead". The lead needs to be strong, communicating your message quickly and concisely. You need to use your headline and first paragraph effectively so that they standalone and that if only those portions were to be read, there would be enough information to understand what the release is about. The rest of your press release should provide the detail. Journalists see maybe thousands of press releases a day, you have a few seconds to grab your their attention.

3 - What is your angle? The media are always on the look out for a good story. Your press release needs to be more than just. fact, it needs to be newsworthy. Understanding why journalists would find your story interesting is the key to success. Think about the release from the journalist's point of view, put yourself in their shoes. It is best to make your press release timely and to tie it to current events or social issues if possible. Find a good angle, a good news hook and you have the start of a good press release.

4 - Who, what, where, when and why A good press release needs to answer all of the "W" questions (who, what, where, when and why), providing the journalist with useful information about your organization, product, service or event. If your press release reads like an advertisement or sales pitch, dump it.

5 - Why should anyone care? Company launches, new websites and changes of management happen all the time and so aren't interesting. You need to concentrate on what makes your new company, web site, CEO or product unique. Ask yourself the question, "Why should anyone care?" Concentrate on the aspects of your press release that makes it different.

6 - Add the human touch Always use real life stories about how your organization identified a problem and solved it. How did your service or product fulfil a need or help the community. Real life examples communicate the benefits of using your product or service in a powerful way.

7 - Keep to the point Use enough words to tell your story, no more and no less. Don't pad your release with unnecessary adjectives or flowery language. But at the same time make each word count.

8 - Limit the jargon The best way to communicate your news is to speak plainly. You may need to use some jargon or industry specific lingo, but limit it to the minimum. Industry specific terms are only understood by people in the same industry where as your press release is aimed at a general readership.

9 - Add an "About" section Make sure you add an "About" section where you describe your company and services. This will be useful for setting the press release in a context. Don't forget to add the URL of your website.

10 - Add good contact information If a journalist picks up on your press release they will want to talk with you. Just adding your website URL isn't enough. As a minimum you need to add a contact name and an email address. Even better add a phone number where you can be contacted. <bio>Gary Sims has a degree in Business Information Systems from a British university.
The French press style of coffee making produces very rich, aromatic and tasty coffee. It uses very coarsely ground coffee that basically steeps in the brewing water for several minutes allowing all the flavours to fully extract from the coffee grinds. Because of the filtering system there is always some sediment which some people don't like.

A French press coffee maker has two parts: a straight-sided container usually made of glass, and a filter-plunger that pushes through the water to filter out the coffee after it has steeped. This plunger also serves as the lid. There are some models of French Press that are insulated which is good for keeping things hot while it steeps.

To brew coffee with a French Press, you should pre-heat the carafe while you boil your water. When ready, empty the carafe, add your coffee, and then add your brewing water. You may wish to stir the coffee grinds around to be sure all of them are in contact with water. You should now put the plunger/lid on the pot to help retain heat. DO NOT press it down yet, it needs to steep for about four minutes (a little more or less depending the coarseness of the grind).

Once you feel the coffee has brewed enough, slowly depress the plunger trapping the grounds on the bottom. Do not force the plunger. If it doesn't want to go down, simply lift the plunger up slightly and try again. The filter can jam on grinds that are too fine. Just take your time and it will work.

Despite what some may say, it is usually best to decant the coffee into an insulated serving pot. If you leave the coffee in the French Press it will remain in contact with the grinds and keep brewing. This will quickly ruin your coffee. The other main reason to pour your coffee off is to keep it warm. French Press pots are not well insulated and coffee cools off very quickly.

Play with the brewing time and grind coarseness until you get the taste that you like best. Once you've done that you will have some of the tastiest coffee anywhere.
