Brazil has 4,600 miles of coastline, all adjacent to the warm waters of the Atlantic Ocean. With so many dazzling beaches, you are sure to find your spot in the sand when visiting Brazil.

Brazil's beaches are quite diverse, with beaches for families, partygoers, surfers, secluded beaches, crowded beaches, and even beaches for the naturalist available for a multitude of tastes. All of the beaches in Brazil are public access beaches, which means that if you can find a beach in Brazil, you are guaranteed to be able to enjoy it, know matter where it is!

There is of course the famous beach of Copacabana, known for its party atmosphere and the famous beach sport known as foot volleyball. While this beach is unarguably one of Brazil's most crowded, a visit to Brazil without seeing this famous beach just wouldn't be complete.

Ipanema Beach, located in Rio de Janeiro, is known as a more "family friendly" beach, and is a bit less crowded than some of the others. This beach is popular due to the fact that it is in close proximity to many hotels and resorts, as well as many fine dining establishments.

Jericoacoara, while a bit out of the way and not the easiest beach to access, is well worth the trip, as it affords the visitor a view of the most beautiful sunsets in all of Brazil. This particular beach is always very clean, and offers golden colored sand. Unless you arrive quite early in the day, expect the beach to be overcrowded by windsurfers and backpackers.

Costa Verde, which translates to "Green Coast", is a serene beach, and one of the most untouched by commercialism in Brazil. It offers golden sandy beaches and a glimpse of the rainforest fauna that has overgrown to encroach upon the beach dunes. Not too far from this beach is King's Cove beach, which offers a nice family atmosphere and many fine resorts nearby.

Santos Beach is unique in that it features a beach garden that spans an astounding four miles. This is a quieter beach, and can be enjoyed by families as well as nature lovers who come specifically for the beach garden.

Pipa Beach, located in Natal, is where you can witness dolphins at play in the blue green waters of the Atlantic. Pipa Beach is also famous for its' wild buggy rides over the sandy dunes. While this beach can tend to be a bit crowded, arriving early in the day will assure you get a good spot on the sand, and allow you to see the dolphins.

Genipabu Beach is famous for its lagoons and dunes, as well as the swaying coconut tress and sparkling white sand. This beach is located in Rio Grande do Norte, as are several other beaches such as Ponta Negra beach, Pititinga beach, and Jacuma beach. All of these beaches feature very warm water, and native vegetation can be seen growing freely on many of them.

With so many beaches in Brazil, it might be hard to decide just which ones to visit. No matter which beach you choose to visit in Brazil, rest assured that it will be a beautiful one! <bio>Read more from Naldo Camarones at: http://www.brazil-magazine.com </bio>

One of the most telltale signs of going on a luxurious vacation is having a tan. If you want to impress your friends when you return from your next vacation you should choose one of these great beaches.

1. Copacabana Beach, Brazil

With clear sandy beaches and sparkling water it is rated as one of the best beaches in the world. With a backdrop of the rolling hills of Brazil, you will not only find yourself tanning here but also enjoying the beautiful scenery. In addition to being a great place for tanning and for enjoying the landscape, Copacabana Beach is rarely quiet. There is always something happening on this beach so get out there if you can.

2. Waikiki Beach, Oahu (Hawaii)

This is a paradise for vacationers. You will be able to sit in the sand and watch the surfers along the two mile long beach. Hawaiian beaches offer soft sand and spectacular sun. Be sure to stick around at night to see the beautiful sunset across the horizon.

3. Crete, Greece

Greece is naturally one of the most beautiful areas in the world to vacation. As a coastal area, it has over 100 miles of luxurious beaches for you to enjoy. Try the area of Rethimno on the islands northern coast. The beach is beautiful but tends to be crowded, as it is one of the most popular spots on the island. If you are looking for a place to tan in solitude then try elsewhere, as there are plenty of small, secluded beaches scattered around Crete.

4. Baby Beach, Aruba

The soft beaches of Aruba are one of the best beach vacations because the water is so calm and shallow. You can put out a low beach chair for the day and just relax and read a book. If you would rather work on your tan than take a dip, you can spread your beach towel out in the soft Arabian sand that lines the shore of Baby Beach.

5. Newpoprt Beach, Southern California

As one of California's top beaches, Newport provides a hint of the American dream. Lounge with other vacationers and sunbathe or slip into the water for a while. Lifeguards are only on duty during some times during the year.

6. St. John Island, Virgin Islands

St. John Island is technically a National Park. It is located in the beautiful Carribean and the lands are highly undevelopped. Beaches such as Cinnamon Bay are beautiful and also very remote. Bring your significant other or your whole family. <bio>For more great vacation related articles and resources check out http://villastop.info </bio>

A Providenciales Vacation in the Turks and Caicos Islands takes you to a place of beautiful white sand beaches, calm turquoise sea, a reef absolutely brimming with underwater life. The Grace Bay beach is undoubtedly one of the top ten beautiful beaches in the world.

All of this makes Providenciales a paradise vacation for families, snorkelers and divers

There is more to Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands than Grace Bay.

Grace Bay is a beautiful 11 mile stretch of rock free beach, but it is also the inevitable centre of tourism and hotels. It is a wonderful beach to walk along, or jog along, and as it faces west, a glorious place to see the sunset.

There is a lot more to see and do on your Providenciales Vacation, and a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended, so you can escape from the high season crowds. This article is mainly about the beaches of Providenciales, but there are terrific snorkelling and diving sites.

Long Bay Beach lies on the opposite shore to Grace Beach opening onto Long Bay itself. There are almost no hotels here, but the beach isn't as fine and powdery as Grace Bay, but it is relatively empty and because it is very sheltered there aren't really any waves.

You ought to visit Little Water Cay which is the only place in the world to see the Rock Iguanas in their natural habitat and you can get a glass bottomed boat out of Turtle Cove. This makes for a great family day out, and the iguanas are incredibly tame.

Sapodilla Bay of the soft white sand beaches and clear turquoise sea is beautiful and well worth a visit especially for children because the sea here is so calm and shallow. It's a bit of a drive from Grace Bay but well worth the effort because of the gorgeous sunsets.

NorthWest Point Beach is white sand, very calm sea, good diving, and is best known for its tiki-huts that line the coast. The tiki-huts were built years ago for a French game show like Castaway, but today they sit around the beach, giving it a South Pacific feel. There are no facilities at all here.

Just south of NorthWest Point you will find Malcolm's Road Beach and then south again Sam's Bay. The road to Malcolm's Road Beach is pretty bumpy at the end, and you will definitely need a four wheel drive vehicle, but the beach is stunning with fine white sand and almost always deserted. The snorkelling here is good, and there are no facilities at all.

Providenciales Beaches shouldn't be missed. <bio>Peter Stewart writes exclusively for http://www.in-kenyasafari.com as well as http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com and he has in depth knowledge of the places he writes about </bio>

A Cuban Vacation is something more and more people take with every passing year. Cuba and its capital Havana have become one of the top tourist destinations in the Caribbean.

What is there to do on a Cuban Vacation apart from sit on a beach, and drink rum and relax?

The fact is that holidays in Cuba are very much what you make of them, because apart from the beach and the rum, a Cuba vacation can be also cultural, exhausting, even breathtaking, but one thing is sure your visit to Cuba will be absolutely unforgettable.

To start with a Cuba vacation based on beaches, because Cuba has some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. When you realize there is an almost six thousand kilometer coastline, with 289 natural beaches you will understand why there are several that are an outstanding place for a Cuba Family Holiday Package and Vacation Deal. At the north end of Cuba you find powder sand and a turquoise sea with waves from the Atlantic Ocean. In the south there is the warm Caribbean Sea with virtually untouched beaches. The more popular Cuba becomes as a tourist destination the more difficult it is to find quiet tourist free beaches.

The following are well worth trying on your Cuban Vacation

Cayo Santa Maria on the north east coast is a small island surrounded by coral reefs and seven miles of very quiet and untouched beaches.

Cayo Levisa is accessed by boat from a place about two hours west of Havana, and is covered by jungle surrounded by white sand beaches, protected by coral reefs and very picturesque.

Playa Ancon is to the south nine miles from Trinidad, has six miles of soft sand, is very sheltered and perfect for families. This is more popular but still uncrowded.

Cayo Largo is on the east side of the island and has some of the best diving reefs and white sand beaches. It takes a flight or a six hour boat trip to get to, so not touristy at all.

Playa Santa Lucia is a thirteen mile beach, with calm water due to the reef, and turquoise sea. Probably the most popular of the beaches mentioned but never feels crowded due to its size.

All of these beaches feature hotels eminently suitable for a Cuban vacation and certainly a Cuba Vacation Package can be arranged.

For those tourists who are looking for more culture, then culture vultures will love Havana. There are museums, and then for the music lovers there are salsa clubs and live jazz.

On the other hand you can take to the open road and discover open roads, classic cars, and breathtaking landscapes. As an example might be the breathtaking landscapes and charming caves at Vinales Valley.

For goodness sake hire a car, the roads are deserted, or perhaps do some horse riding. On the other hand there are significant numbers of wrecked ships to scuba dive and explore.

Cuba is exciting, and an amazing place considering it is still Communist, but nevertheless a Cuban Vacation will open your eyes to a perfect tourist destination, and you should be able to enjoy a great Cuban Vacation Deal. <bio>Gordon Steven writes exclusively for http://www.caribbean-vacationspots.com as well as http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com and has visited personally many of the places he reports on, and has done extensive research on the others </bio>

Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, these stunning waterways are a destination paradise. Each has ample condominium living, hotels and tropical setting restaurants. You can listen to steel drum music, enjoy outdoor entertainment, or just relax by the crashing waves. Many people enjoy charter fishing, renting watercraft or surfing on a windy day.

There are miles of gorgeous beaches and some are more popular than others. For a more crowded, lively beach location, St. Pete Beach, Clearwater Beach and Treasure Island offer many activities and are generally filled with people playing paddle ball, strolling by the water or building sand castles. At Clearwater Beach a crowd can often be found at Shepherd's, where the outdoor bar, live music and fun are abundant. Boat owners anchor just of the shore here and spend the day enjoying the scenery, visiting with friends and the island vibe you will find here.

For a more tranquil atmosphere, Belleair Beach, Indian Rocks Beach and Redington Shores are a perfect location to relax in the sun, watch a breathtaking sunset, or listen to the sounds of the ocean.

Honeymoon Island State Park is one of the most popular beaches in the country. You can rent a kayak here as well and get some athletic activity and an up close view of this water.

Each of these beaches has great dining options. Fresh fish and seafood, live entertainment and a Caribbean atmosphere make these establishments so popular. But every holiday in Majorca will inevitably centre around one thing and one thing only -- the beach.

Every year, millions of holiday goers from all over Europe come to Majorca for their summer dose of sun and sand, and researching the island's beaches is essential before booking your hotel in Majorca. There is no single best beach in Majorca -- some are perfect for families, others are secluded and romantic, and there are also Majorca's most vibrant beaches close to the island's nightlife. Whatever you want from your cheap holiday to Majorca, there's a perfect beach for you -- here are ten of the island's best...

Magaluf

Magaluf's beach has been awarded the European Blue Flag for cleanliness and quality, and is a glorious long stretch of golden sand. Renowned as the resort with the best nightlife on the island, Magaluf's beach is the perfect place to relax in the day before hitting the clubs at night.

Palma Nova

Reckoned by some to be the best beach in Majorca, holidays to this resort are rewarded with access to a Blue Flag beach with beautiful fine sand and shade provided by the thick patches of trees.

Playa de Palma

This bustling beach isn't the place to go if you are dreaming of a quiet holiday in Majorca, but it is big, active, and close to some of the island's best nightclubs. The excellent promenade that runs along the top of the beach is filled with great bars, restaurants and shops, and if you want an active and sociable cheap holiday to Majorca, Playa de Palma will be your beach of choice.

Sa Coma

With the fine sand shelving gently into calm waters, Sa Coma is highly popular with families on holiday in Majorca. The resort itself is quieter than some of its more bustling neighbours, and the beach itself also has a wide range of waterskiing and windsurfing facilities for avid water sports fans.

Illetes

This small and secluded beach, located near the capital of Palma city features two little coves and pine trees almost down to the shore itself, making it a welcome break from the more crowded beaches such as Playa de Palma and Palma Nova. Those looking for a little peace and quiet while on holiday in Majorca will be well served by Illetes.

Alcudia

Set in the more peaceful north coast of the island, Alcudia's beach is one of the most child friendly beaches in Majorca; holidays here are justifiably popular with families. The water is clear and calm, and this long, beautiful beach is loved by adults and children alike!

Cala D'or

Cala D'or's beaches offer something a little different for those on a cheap holiday to Majorca. While most beaches on the island consist of long, flat stretches of golden sand, Cala D'or has a series of small coves, giving it a quieter and more natural feel. The town itself hasn't been colonised by tourists like some of the larger resorts, making Cala D'or's beaches especially popular with families and couples.

Es Trenc

Despite being a highly popular beach, Es Trenc is also one of the best preserved beaches on the island. With no local hotels you'll need a car to get here, but the drive is well worth it -- this is one of the most beautiful and isolated beaches in Majorca.

Peguera

This quiet and peaceful resort beach is the perfect place to go for a relaxing holiday to Majorca, with beautiful sand, crystal clear water and encircling pine trees offering a little shade for the sunbathers.

Santa Ponsa

Another fine family beach, the busy resort combines long stretches of beautiful sand with perfectly still waters. The promenade along the beach front offers plenty of bars and restaurants to keep you occupied, and there is also the option of taking a boating trip out from the marina.<bio>Daniel Eyre is the Product Manager of Search Travel Online.
Tenerife has long been one of the most popular destinations for European travellers looking for a little sun and sand. The island is justly famed for its outstanding beaches -- some are great for swimming, others for sunbathing, some are perfect for children, others have outstanding facilities for wind surfing and other water sports. With cheap holidays to Tenerife more widely available than ever before, getting to the island is simple enough -- but once you are there, which one of Tenerife's beaches is the right one for you?

Playa de las Teresitas

Playa de las Teresitas is one of the most beautiful man made beaches in the world. With thousands of tons of pristine sand imported all the way from the Sahara desert and carefully placed palm trees dotted across it, you could well mistake this for a stretch of the Caribbean coastline. The water is calm and crystal clear, and with the spectacular mountain backdrop and excellent facilities, it's easy to see why this is one of the most popular of Tenerife's beaches.

Playa de las Americas

Playa de las Americas is perfect for those who want a bustling beach on their cheap holiday to Tenerife. This beach sheltered and has calm waters, perfect for sunbathers and families with children, and it backs onto a terrific promenade that is packed with shops and restaurants. If a busy nightlife is just as important to you as relaxing on the beach in the day, Playa de las Americas is right next to the islands best clubs, including the famous (or infamous!) Tramp's Nightclub.

Playa de la Arena

This black volcanic sand beach, has recently been awarded a European Blue Flag for its cleanliness and quality, and is renowned as one of the most attractive beaches in Tenerife. Cheap holidays in Playa de la Arena are particularly popular with couples, families, and those who are just looking to relax on their package holidays to Tenerife -- it has a quieter and more laid back atmosphere than some of the more "party hard" beaches and resorts.

El Medano

If water sports are the most important thing for your cheap holiday to Tenerife, then El Medano is the beach for you. Located on the south east coast, the golden sandy beach is attractive to look at, but the strong winds make it unsuitable for serious sunbathers. However, those same winds make it an outstanding choice for windsurfing and parasailing -- the beach has hosted a number of world championship windsurfing competitions in recent years. With great conditions and excellent facilities, this is the Tenerife beach of choice for avid water sports fans.

Playa de las Vistas

Playa de las Vistas, located close to Playa de las Americas, is perhaps the most child friendly beach in Tenerife. Package holidays to this part of island are naturally popular with families. The water is calm and clear, the sand perfect for sunbathing and sandcastles, and the beach itself is regularly patrolled by lifeguards. However, Playa de las Vistas has more to offer than just a playground for the children. It is commonly regarded as the finest beach in the south of Tenerife, with its long stretch of golden sand earning it a well deserved Blue Flag for its quality, and it has plenty of restaurants, shops and watersports options to keep adults entertained as well.<bio>Daniel Eyre is the Product Manager of Search Travel Online. Whether you want a relaxing vacation with no cares or worries, or if you just want to have plain old fun, California has you covered!

One of the biggest Californian attractions is the beaches. Covering well over one thousand miles, these beaches are situated on California's western coastline. Hugging the Pacific Ocean, California's beaches vary from flat and sandy to rocky shores. Whether you want to take a nice swim or take a long walk in the sand, or if you would rather simply be amazed by the picturesque rocky beaches, California has it all!

If you are looking for more of a family-friendly vacation, you're still in the right place. California offers hundreds of different amusement parks, theme parks, water parks and zoos. The most famous one is of course Disneyland, situated in Anaheim. But there are up to a dozen different parks in each major city in California. Another popular park is Legoland California. Although it is geared towards younger children, adults will find themselves having fun as well. Legoland California is situated in Carslad, a few dozen miles from San Diego.

Sports fans will also have a blast in California. The state has 5 different Major League Baseball teams (the Dodgers, Padres, Giants, Angels, and Athletics). California is also called home by 3 National Football League teams (the Raiders, Chargers, and 49ers).

These are just some of the reasons why California is the perfect vacation spot!
Grenada isn't an island as many people presuppose, but in fact it is a three island state consisting of Grenada, Carriacou, and petite Martinique. It is an ideal destination for a Caribbean Vacation with Grenada itself being the largest of the three islands by some margin. Grenada is twenty one miles long and twelve miles wide, with a total area of 133 square miles, so it isn't so big as you can get lost, nor too small to discover all its secrets too quickly.

The three islands of Grenada are to be found in the Eastern Caribbean right at the bottom end of the Windward Islands, and only 100 miles from Venezuela on the mainland. North is Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and to the south Trinidad and Tobago.

The climate of Grenada is neither too hot or too cold, varying from 75 degrees F to 87 degrees F, with the lower end being between November and February. The rainy season is between June and December but it hardly ever rains for more than an hour, and then not even every day, so the climate is eminently suitable for a Caribbean Vacation.

Grenada has about 45 beautiful beaches, and this is the big draw for tourists. The beaches are public property which means that the public has the right of access at all times.

On the westward or leeward side of Grenada is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean called Grand Anse Beach. It is two miles of white sand in a sheltered bay, and has a number of hotels situated along its shore. It is sheltered and safe for swimming. There is a lot to do here, it is quite busy, but you will find everything from restaurants, hotels, water sports centres, even deck chair rentals.

If however you want to be in a less touristy spot there are six other beaches on the west coast between Grand Anse and Point Salines, which are more private, and particularly you might enjoy Morne Rouge Beach. It is just south of Grand Anse, is smaller, and calm with lots of shallow water making it very good for families. In addition there are no water sports shops, and only one hotel and restaurant on the beach.

The best snorkelling beaches are near to the Aquarium Restaurant or Rex Grenadine Hotel.

The most secluded beaches are at Lance Aux Epines and St David's. It isn't as easy to get to them, and you will need a 4x4 vehicle but the effort is well worth while. Some of the beaches are black sand but La Sagesse Beach is ideal for the family and is the traditional white sand, and is much favoured at the weekends.

To complete the list there is Bathway beach in the north east of Grenada is probably the second most popular of the beaches and has an area where non swimmers bathe safely but as it is on the Atlantic side the water can be quite rough for parts of the year.

Levera Beach north of Bathway and is close to Sugarloaf Island and needs a four wheel drive vehicle , and finally Sauteurs beach on the north coast is usually deserted and a lovely beach with great views of the islands of the Grenadines.

For more information go to http://www.caribbean-vacationspots.com/pages/Site-Map.html <bio>Gordon Steven writes exclusively for http://www.caribbean-vacationspots.com as well as http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com and has visited personally many of the places he reports on, and has done extensive research on the others </bio>

Extending from the Mexican mainland in the shape of a `7', the many beaches of Cancun's Hotel Zone have recently received a significant facelift. Almost immediately after much of the sand lining the Caribbean Sea was carried away in a storm, a crew of over 200 people began restoring the beaches. However, the rebuilding didn't stop when the beaches were restored to their original size. Much like the premier resorts of Cancun that utilized this rebuilding period to make their accommodations even more luxurious and inviting, the beaches were rebuilt with an average width of 140 feet =96 making most beaches 50% bigger than their original size. Today, with all of the rebuilding completed, the beaches of Cancun offer visitors even more activities and space to relax.

The beaches along the stretch of land extending into the Caribbean are typically referred to as the North Side beaches. As these beaches are somewhat sheltered from the Caribbean current by Isla Mujeres, the wind and wave conditions at these beaches are typically very mild. While the beaches of the East Side might be for some water sports, many of the North Side beaches are perfect for swimming and family activities.

Here is overview of the North Side Beaches, from west to east, approaching the Caribbean Sea and the main stretch of Cancun's Hotel Zone:

Playa Las Perlas =96 Located at the beginning of the Hotel Zone where the land begins stretching into the Caribbean, this beach is a popular choice for swimming and other water sports. When you've finished having fun in the water, Playa Las Perlas also has plenty of charming restaurants and bars.

Playa Linda =96 This North Side beach is located near many popular tourist destinations and features calm, crystal-clear water that is perfect for all types of family-friendly water sports. As a result, Playa Linda is the best place to find submarine and scuba diving tours.

Playa Langosta and Playa Tortugas =96 These neighboring beaches are known for their pristine sand and relaxed atmosphere. With slightly larger waves than Playa Las Perlas, these two beaches also offer great opportunities for families to try active water sports like waterskiing, jet skiing and boating.

Playa Caracol =96 This beautiful beach has long been one of the most popular stretches of sand in Cancun. With shallow water leading out into a smooth, sandy bottom, Playa Caracol and its share of the Caribbean Sea is one of the best destinations for families. After the kids have enjoyed splashing in the crystal-clear water, parents can enjoy all the nearby restaurants and shops.

As the beaches of Cancun's East Side extend directly into the Caribbean Sea, visitors will experience slightly higher waves and breezier conditions than on the North Side of the peninsula. However, nearly all of Cancun's East Side beaches feature a family-friendly atmosphere and offer exciting activities for visitors of all ages.

Furthermore, as most of Cancun's premier resorts rest of the East Side of the peninsula, you won't have any trouble finding world-class shopping and dining within walking distance of the beach. The beaches described here are in order from north to south, with the best resorts and activities residing at the southernmost end of the peninsula:

Gaviota Azul, Chac Mool and Playa Marlin =96 These three special stretches of sand are the northernmost beaches on the East Side of the Hotel Zone. While these beaches might not be as glamorous as those further south near the exclusive resorts, all three offer plenty of space to relax and enjoy the sunshine. Also, as the wave action is the highest offshore from these beaches, windsurfing and parasailing have become popular sports here.

Playa Ballenas =96 This beach, centrally located on the East Side of the Hotel Zone, is known for its family-friendly activities. Every member of the family can enjoy activities like swimming, tubing, boating and waterskiing. Furthermore, as Playa Ballenas rests in the heart of Cancun's most exciting area, there is also plenty to explore on land.

San Miguelito =96 Known as the beach that adds a little history to the exciting Cancun experience, San Miguelito allows visitors to explore ancient Mayan ruins while playing in the sand. Beyond the important historical remains located on the beach, San Miguelito is also a great place to swim or simply relax beneath the shade of a palapa.

Playa Delfines and Playa Nizuc =96 Located at the southern end of the Hotel Zone's East Side, these beaches offer some of the best scenery in Cancun. As Playa Delfines and Playa Nizuc are both nestled against some of the best resorts in Cancun, there are also plenty of great restaurants and other activities to enjoy.

Following the extensive rebuilding period, nearly everything in Cancun is better than ever and the city hardly missed a beat. The improved beaches of Cancun allow you and your family to play in the near-endless sand, frolic in the warm water or simply relax in the sun.

Throw in the family-oriented beach culture and the countless activities of the Hotel Zone and you'll see why Cancun is one of the best family destinations in the Caribbean. <bio>This article was written by Justin Burch.
When most people think about romantic honeymoon trips, the first word that comes to mind is usually Hawaii. And while there are many other romantic locations around the world, a Hawaiian honeymoon remains one of the most popular and romantic choices.

Planning your honeymoon trip to Hawaii is easier than you would think. Most large travel agencies have agents that are devoted solely to planning trips to Hawaii. They travel to Hawaii themselves and are well versed in the best hotels and deals. You can also book your honeymoon trip yourself on one of the major online travel websites. Before booking your trip, you should do some research and consider which island (or islands) you want to visit. Each of the Hawaiian islands has its own feel, and you'll want to determine which island you want to visit before you book your trip. Maui is the most popular island for honeymooners, but all are romantic and offer memorable honeymoon trips.

What to do on your honeymoon trip depends a lot on the personality of the couple. Some newlyweds prefer to have a honeymoon with very little to do except sit on the beach. Hawaii is known for its beaches, and they definitely live up to expectations. Makenna Beach on Maui is routinely rated one of the best beaches in the world. Hapuna Beach on the Big Island, Poipu Beach and Hanalei Bay Beach on Kauai, and Hanauma Bay Beach on Oahu are also spectacular. All of the beaches feature warm, clear water and soft sand. You can also spend time on one of Hawaii's famed black sand beaches. Snorkeling is also very popular on all of the islands, as the water is so clear that you can see a wide variety of tropical fish and ocean life.

If you want a honeymoon trip with more adventure, there are plenty of things to do on all of the islands. On the Big Island, you can see an active volcano at Volcanoes National Park. On Kauai you can take a boat ride to see the Na Pali coast, a spectacular coast line that is only accessible by boat or foot. And on Maui you can drive down the fabled Road to Hana, stopping at waterfalls and gardens along the way. All of the islands have sightseeing tours and day trips available. And you can end the day with a sunset cruise or a luau.

If you are a Brahmin parent looking for brahmin brides or grooms please check the url http://www.brahminsmatrimony.com <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for brahmins matrimonial portal http://www.BrahminsMatrimony.com </bio>

Every year, drawn by the promise of gorgeous weather and beautiful beaches, thousands of travellers from the UK go on camping and mobile home holidays in the Cote d'Azur. Campsites are scattered all along the coast, and the beaches around Cannes and St Tropez are glamorous, fashionable...and usually very crowded! For many people, the hustle and bustle is very much part of the experience of camping in the Cote d'Azur, but some will crave a more secluded beach where they can relax in peace and quiet.

Fortunately, the area also contains many uninterrupted beaches for those who know how to find them or are willing to seek them out. So, if you tire of the crowds while camping in the Cote d'Azur, here are five hidden beaches to relax on...

Port de Crouton Plage

If you are going to the French Rivera with your family, why not find a Cote d'Azur campsite near this beach which is located in Juan-les-Pins. This beach is a real hidden gem, and a perfect place to go with children. The soft sand slopes very gently into the sea, making it safe for children, and the secluded location and beautiful surroundings make it just as enjoyable for adults!

Mala Plage

Despite being only ten minutes away from Monaco, Mala Plage is rarely crowded, perhaps due to the steep ten minute walk it takes to get there. It is almost child free, so it is a great place for couples looking to escape the crowds on their Cote d'Azur camping holidays. There is also a range of activities available on the beach, including jet skiing, snorkelling and diving.

Plage de Passable

The Plage de Passable, located in Villefranche bay, is an outstanding and peaceful place to swim and sunbathe. This sheltered pebble beach is popular with locals in the know, and if you are staying in a nearby Cote d'Azur campsite, you should trust their judgement! There is an excellent restaurant here, and the 4km Cap Ferrat hiking trail is a lovely walk that passes by the houses of the rich and famous who live in Villefranche.

Paloma Plage

In Cap Ferrat, the over-rich and over-trendy crowd gravitate towards the Paloma Beach Club, leaving the public beach relatively uncrowded. Take full advantage of their mistake, and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches on the Cote d'Azur -- gorgeous sand, turquoise water, and breathtaking views out over the bay.

Saleccia

If you really want to beat the crowds, then try escaping the Cote d'Azur altogether -- the Saleccia beach is located on the nearby island of Corsica, and it is almost completely deserted and utterly beautiful. If you are camping in the Cote d'Azur you can get to Corsica by taking a car ferry from Nice or Cannes, and the trip is well worth it -- this beach really is a local highlight.

Whether you are travelling with the family or as a couple, you don't need to fight the crowds if you want to go to the beach while camping in the Cote d'Azur -- if you like peace and quiet with your sun and sand, these five secluded beaches will be just right for you.<bio>Stephen Lane is the Marketing Director of Canvas Holidays, one of the leading European camping and mobile home holiday companies in the UK. With over 40 years of experience, Canvas offer tailor made Cote D'Azur camping holidays, as well holidays to the rest of France and other countries such as Spain, Italy, Holland, Germany and other destinations across 9 European countries.</bio>

Planning a vacation with the whole family means you have one primary consideration: keeping the kids happy. If planning a beach vacation, it seems you already have taken care of that main consideration, but not completely. You want to be sure you choose a kid-friendly beach that will also keep the adults happy.

Dr. Beach, otherwise known as scientist Dr. Stephen Leatherman, chooses the top beaches each year, always with an eye toward the kids as well. All of the following selections are made with the family in mind. These were Dr. Beach's selections for 2006.

1. Fleming Beach, Maui. This beach, of which part is the Ritz Carlton beach, is a popular destination for families. Here, you can surf, swim and picnic. Since the kids are with you, you'll appreciate that there are restrooms, showers and picnic facilities. If you're visiting in the winter, stay out of the water, as the surf is dangerously high then. Families also like the location -- it's on the west side of Maui and is backed by a forest of trees which provide abundant shade.

2. Caladesi Island State Park, Florida. This beach makes a wonderful complement to a Florida vacation with kids. Head to Florida's west coast (this beach is near the St. Petersburg/Clearwater area) and visit this park, which offers a marina, picnic pavilions, shelling and fishing, as well as nature studies. There are also three miles of nature trail here. The beach is a family favorite due to the myriad of activities that complement your visit, as well as the beautiful sand beaches perfect for sandcastle making.

3. Ocracoke Island, North Carolina. Located on North Carolina's Outer Banks, Ocracoke Island is a popular destination for families. There's something here for everyone: the kids enjoy watching the "banker ponies", the wild ponies that live there, and parents enjoy the quaint shops, historic lighthouse, and darling homes. The village of Ocracoke is on the National Register of Historic Places. There's a free ferry service from Hatteras Island to Ocracoke Island. It's a 40-minute ferry ride that can end up taking a lot longer in the summertime, as the wait for the ferry can be a long one.

4. Cooper's Beach, Southampton, New York. Southampton was the first settlement in New York State, in 1640, and this beach is the main beach in the Southampton area. Of course, Southampton is known as the playground of the rich during the summer months, so be sure to prepare yourself for that if you're not normally part of that moneyed crowd. But don't let that scare you off -- the beach is also a favorite playground of kids everywhere. You should carry some cash: non-residents pay $25 for weekday parking and $30 for weekend.

5. Hanalei Bay, Kauai, Hawaii. This beach, located on the north coast of Hawaii, is a quiet oasis of fun beach activities. There are many vacation home rentals in the area, so you can head from your condo or house rental right to this beautiful beach. Kids love it because the white sand beaches are prime for sand play, there are restrooms, picnic facilities and a lifeguard on duty. Kids can play in the water most times of the year and surfing and boogie boarding are also popular here. <bio>Liz Boudreau is a beach bum with a passion for travel.
Collectively, Aruba's beaches are consistently ranked among the cleanest, widest and most beautiful of the Caribbean and the world. On the island's southwestern coast, tourists will find one beach after another, each with its own distinct atmosphere and diverse possibilities. As nearly all of the beaches are public, access is a breeze. Furthermore, several Caribbean beaches have change and shower facilities, shade huts and water sport equipment provided by Aruba resorts and hotels. For travelers in search of more privacy, a number of public beaches offer dazzling blue water and immaculate sand without the crowds.

While most of Aruba's best beaches are concentrated on the southwestern coast, a number of less frequented beaches on the eastern shores offer unique opportunities for families, surfers and sightseers.

Western Aruba

Arashi, Boca Catalina and Malmok Beaches near the California Lighthouse at the northwestern tip of the island, are all part of the Arashi Underwater Park. Calm water, gentle currents, shallow reefs, and outstanding visibility make them popular swimming and snorkeling sites. Snorkelers and swimmers can glimpse large elk horn coral, sea sponges and schools of colorful fish just six feet below the water's surface.

Hadikurari Beach, directly south of Malmok Beach, is well known for its fantastic windsurfing. The Hi-Winds Pro-Am Windsurfing Competition is held here each June, but the vibrant sails and accomplished surfers entertain spectators year-round. Also known as fishermen's huts, numerous shade huts and picnic tables are available for public use at Hadikurari.

Perhaps Aruba's most famous and frequented beach, Palm Beach features miles of powdery, freshly raked sand, excellent swimming conditions, pristine water and numerous watersport activities. Palm Beach is also one of the best-equipped and serviced beaches on the island; public changing areas and refreshment stands are readily available. What's more, many of the island's finest resorts and hotels overlook the popular beach, granting a short walk to paradise for many travelers. Additionally, many resorts offer watersports equipment, shade huts and lounge chairs for their guests.

Directly south of Palm Beach behind a rocky outcropping lies Eagle Beach. With even more clean sand and luminous water than Palm Beach and fewer high-rise resorts, Eagle Beach is Palm's less-crowded cousin. Though watersports and beach activities are still abundant here, Eagle Beach remains a local favorite and an ideal picnic spot.

Continuing south from Eagle Beach, the island's widest stretch of unspoiled sand rests at Manchebo Beach. As the land juts out further into the Caribbean Sea at Punto Brabo, the surf here is much stronger than at Eagle Beach. Motorized watersports are not permitted at Manchebo, allowing this beach to retain a sense of tropical seclusion. As the coastline again turns inward south of Manchebo, the typically overlooked Druif and Surfside Beaches offer excellent swimming conditions.

Sonesta Island, a 40-acre private tropical retreat with spectacular white sand beaches, secluded coves and protected swimming areas, has long been a tourist favorite. Here, travelers can rest in hammocks under shady palm trees or engage in snorkeling, scuba diving or kayaking.

Eastern Aruba

As the name might imply, Baby Beach is known as Aruba's premier family beach, highlighted by its placid turquoise waters and endless sand. Located at the southeastern end of the island in the area known as Seroe Colorado, the calm lagoon surrounding the beach is also ideal for swimming and snorkeling.

Like so many other beaches in Aruba, Rodgers Beach features plush sand and excellent swimming in reef-protected waters. Though the surf at Rodgers is slightly more robust than at Baby Beach, recreation is still possible for the whole family.

Lastly, as one of the few accessible beaches on Aruba's windward side, Dos Playa is a smaller white sand beach surrounded by an imposing, rocky coastline. For those in search of waves for a challenging surfing experience, Dos Playa is certainly the beach of choice. <bio>This article was written by Justin Burch.
Martinique is an island of of breathtaking contrasts, with lush green vegetation and breathtaking mountainous terrain makes Martinique such a wonderful place to visit. It is a Caribbean Island, part of the French West Indies to the north of Trinidad and Tobago. The most dominant feature on Martinique is Mount Peleee which erupted in 1903 killing 30,000 people. The south of the island has the beautiful beaches and the tourists whilst the north are the rain forests and the black volcanic sand beaches which are a must see for visitors who love to explore.

You will be able to lie around and sun bathe on isolated almost unvisited beaches not sharing with anyone. Other more developed beaches on Martinique Island can be equally enjoyed with their cafes and restaurants, and there are beaches less popular but with facilities. One thing is certain and that is that Martinique has a beach that will be right for you, with the southern beaches which face the Atlantic being undeveloped. The Beaches on the Caribbean coastline are white sand to be found in a huge number of bays and inlets, and quite superb and safe for swimming. To the north on the Atlantic side are beaches with waves ideal for surfers, whilst on the Caribbean side are picturesque volcanic sandy beaches with picturesque fishing villages.

As Martinique is a dependent territory of France uses the Euro as currency and so US Dollars aren't accepted in shops but credit cards can be used.

It is a superb place to eat with a fantastic blend of French and Creole cooking, and the number of high quality dining options makes Martinique unique amongst Caribbean Islands, and is probably brought about by the high number of French tourists, and a growing interest in Creole food .

The climate is tropical and humid with a temperature range of 75degrees Fahrenheit to 85 degrees. The rainy season is June to October when it is regularly visited by tropical cyclones. There are tourist seasons on Martinique with high season from December to April, but you must expect much higher prices and crowds of tourists. May to November is quiet with the associated weather risks. The months of May and June are a good time to visit, with few tourists with low humidity and low prices. July and August are hot and humid with quite a lot of rain but the weather is really pleasant especially for touring around. It is potentially the cyclone season but their potential is a good reason for avoiding September.

Martinique gives you the option to just lie around and relax in a beautiful place, but also to take part in every land and offshore activity that you can think of, and are the same but different as on other islands. However there are additional activities that the terrain allows you won't find anywhere else, such as Canyoning.

There is something for everyone on Martinique, all you have to do is to go there and experience it for yourself

For more information about Caribbean Vacation Spots go to http://www.caribbean-vacationspots.com/pages/Site-Map.html <bio>Gordon Steven writes exclusively for http://www.caribbean-vacationspots.com as well as http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com and has visited personally many of the places he reports on, and has done extensive research on the others </bio>

Is a trip to the Seychelles, a trip to paradise, or is it only a marketing ploy.

Let me say this, if you have never been to the Seychelles, then you could be excused for thinking the expression 'Seychelles a trip to Paradise' is only a marketing ploy. That is until your aircraft gets close into landing at Mahe. Suddenly if you are sitting by a window you become aware of dramatically intense colors of blue, turquoise, and every color in between, and beyond. It quite makes you catch your breath, and as I can't do now, you simply can't explain the dramatic colors and do them justice. Then when you fly on the short haul to one of the many islands, in my case my first port of call was Praslin, but just flying at quite a low height the colors were even more intense. It was hard to believe that such beauty was possible.

Having been taken to our hotel on Praslin, the first thing we did, even prior to unpacking was to walk on the beach, just to see if the stories we had been told, about the color of the sand and how it felt were true.

All I can say, is that the sand looked like white talcum powder, and was cool to the touch despite the heat, and our proximity to the equator. This was in dramatic contrast to the rough sand of a European beach which could be so hot as to burn your feet. Also the coral sand was like putty when it was damp, and when we waded into the water, it was like a warm bath.

I have very few other memories of my first trip to Paradise that is the Seychelles, except the beaches, the colors of the sea, and the greens of the landscape. An unhurried pace, which allowed us to totally unwind almost immediately, and the friendliness of the people.

If you haven't been to the Seychelles, you must go, and go now, if you have been, especially to one of the islands, then I hope this reminds you of what it was like, and makes you feel like me, that you can't wait to go back. <bio>Lucy Tucker, just loves being on vacation Check out her articles on the Seychelles at http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com/categories/Indian-Ocean-Hideways/Seychelles/ </bio>

Mountainous Kefalonia, the largest of the Ionian group of islands, is a justifiably popular beach holiday destination. Although the island is dominated by Mount Ainos, and pine-clad hills that run down to the sea, it's the sandy beach coves lapped by the turquoise waters that draw the most visitors. The best way to enjoy the top beaches on Kefalonia is to book your accommodation so that some of the many enchanting beaches are within easy reach.

If you arrive by ferry at the capital, Argostoli, head south for the nearby beaches of Makris Gialos and Platis Gialos, which end at the tiny islet of Tourkopodaro. Makris Gialos has an area of sun lounges ideal for soaking up the sun, but there is jetski hire if you feel like being more active. The smaller Platis Gialos is quieter and less developed than its neighbour. Both beaches have bars and you will find a choice of excellent villa accommodation at nearby Lassi.

Just a few kilometres further south, the tavernas and fine red sand bring visitors to Avithos. Naturists will find a clothing optional beach at adjoining Ligia. From the shore, you'll see the tiny islet of Dias with its small church. It's possible to take a short boat trip to the island and, depending on the season, the beaches could be deserted. The nearby village of Svoronata offers villa lodgings, tavernas and cafes. Backed by steep, white cliffs, the isolated beach at nearby Spartia is less developed and there is good accommodation. Trapezaki has another inviting beach and here you'll find a choice of villas and hotels. Some of the best beaches for marine life are found in the southeast of Kefalonia, at Skala, where loggerhead turtles nest.

Myrtos, 30km north of Argostoli, lays a claim to having one of Greece's most famous beaches, with its white-sand backed by vertical rock cliffs. Although very popular and crowded in summer, the beach is large enough for you to find a spot and the seas here are generally calm. Nearby, the village of Zola has good villa accommodation. The fishing village of Fiskardo, in the far north, retains much of its Venetian-style architecture and is set around a small tree-lined bay. Nearby Emblisi Beach, edged by interesting rock formations, is composed of small white pebbles, so be sure to bring a mat.

Sami, the main tourist port on the east of the island, was used as the main location for the film that popularised Kefalonia, Captain Corelli's Mandolin. Like many of the east coast beaches it consists of pebbles, but there is a taverna-lined waterfront with numerous shops and cafes. And from Sami, you could hire a car and drive down the coast to Antisamos, one of the more dramatic of Kefalonia's beaches. <bio>R.Ritchie writes for many publishers including AA Publishing and Fodors.Sunisle Holidays offer a range of quality villas on Kefalonia.Visit Sunisle Greek Holidays at http://www.sunisle.co.uk for great value http://www.sunisle.co.uk/searchpreview.asp?destination_cn=5 </bio>
