<content:encoded><![CDATA[What do you feel the moment you walk inside a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+dealer" rel="tag">car dealer</a> shop? A lot of people would never drop by any of these places unless they are really going to buy a car. For those who are just looking, they'd rather go to an open showroom or check over the internet to find the car they possibly need. This is because they don't want to be controlled by the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+salesmen" rel="tag">car salesmen</a>.<br><br>The thing is, car salesmen are trained to do just that. Their goal is to make a sale. And yours is to find the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/best+car" rel="tag">best car</a> in the block at the least possible price. But then again, the moment you step your foot into a car dealer's shop, you cease to be in control of your surroundings. And you'll be goaded by the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+salesman" rel="tag">car salesman</a> in front of you. So how do you handle that?<br><br>First, know for a fact that car salesmen would like to influence you as to which car to buy. If you are not certain about what you like, you're vulnerable. You are most likely to go home with the priciest sedan or SUV with the premise that it has the best features around. Before you go inside a car dealer shop, you have to know the type, model, and color of the car you want. And don't settle for anything else.<br><br>Buying a car is one big investment. And it should be done with meticulous consideration. And your decision as to which car to buy should never be made in a matter of 30 minutes. So if you feel that the car dealer is implicitly asking trying to change your mind, be firm and show him that you're the boss and you're the one who has the last say.<br><br>Another thing you should be wary about when <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/buying+cars" rel="tag">buying cars</a> is the price the salesmen put out on you. Keep in mind that these people are going to be paid based on their daily sales. This is a commission-based business and the more they squeeze out of you, the higher the pay they take home.<br><br>Car salesmen would normally ask you how much down payment you can shell out and how much monthly payment you can oblige to. Don't give your maximum figures. Because the salesmen would inflate the down payment to twice as much as what you can pay anyway. You might sound cheap when you say you can only pay $2,000 down payment. But hey, he could give you the car at $4,000.<br><br>To handle the salesman, you should never let him handle you. You can always contradict what he's saying. Anyway, you're the customer and you're always right. Besides, he won't let you walk the front door without a purchase. Because if he does, he has to wait in line for the next customer he can sell to. More likely than not, he'd rather settle for minimal profits than none at all. Don't just say yes to all his numbers and offers. Agree only if you know for a fact that the price is fair. Be the most challenging customer he has ever met. Only then you can walk out of the car dealer shop with a real good deal.<bio>Browse our inventory and find quality <a href="http://www.pacificnissan.com/new-vehicles?lang=en">new Nissan cars for sale in San Diego</a> and <a href="http://www.pacificnissan.com/pre-owned-vehicles?lang=en">used cars for sale in San Diego</a> at affordable prices at PacificNissan.com, established <a href="http://www.pacificnissan.com">Nissan dealer</a> serving San Diego area.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ I had an interesting discussion the other day with the love of my life, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/apple+of+my+eye" rel="tag">apple of my eye</a>, the woman that inspires me=85 (that is all true, and also just in case she is reading this. I'm sure you all understand!) We were talking about the idea that many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/salesman" rel="tag">salesman</a> out there are simply out to make as much as they can, then look for the next hustle. She felt that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/salesmen" rel="tag">salesmen</a>, for the most part, lack some integrity and purpose. They don't care what they're selling or who they are selling to. They are only interested in the bottom line =96 `how much can I make?' To an extent, that is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/popular+opinion" rel="tag">popular opinion</a>. I've thought about this some more. I've thought about the different sales occupations I'm familiar with, and the different types of salesmen I know personally. <br /><br /> For the most part, it would seem that the majority of salesmen initially get in with any product or service that is an easy sell, or high on commissions. However, if you look past that, you see <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/something+interesting" rel="tag">something interesting</a> happen. The majority of salesmen don't last too long. Maybe after a year or two they made a decent <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/amount+of+money" rel="tag">amount of money</a> and now want to try something else. Maybe they got burnt out. Maybe it just wasn't for them. As you look at those who have been in the industry longer and have had increasing success over the years, (these are the models we're interested in, after all) you will find that these are people who have learned some common truths in the world of business. Truths that are vital for your business to not only survive, but to thrive. <br /><br /> Going after the elusive dollar will bring excitement in the beginning. But in the long term, it leads nowhere. It's similar to the myth about the toaster never popping if you watch it. In a sense, you can't get what you want =96 success and money, in this case =96 by focusing on it. Success and wealth are byproducts of a much larger, much more important task: <br /><br /> Stop trying to sell and start trying to SERVE. Identify what people really want and need, and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/aim" rel="tag">aim</a> to provide it for them. Your focus should be to HELP PEOPLE. This is the real nature of marketing. Do this and you won't have to sell. Customers will beat a path to your door. <br /><br /> Please do not overlook that statement, or take it likely. If your business is not performing as well as you want, do NOT focus on how to generate more sales. Rather, you need to look at the whole picture. Are you marketing something people want and need? Is your approach one of trying to help the customer? Do they feel you're trying to help them? <br /><br /> Under-promise and over-deliver. Your duty as a marketer, as a business person, is to serve others. It's as simple as getting out of the mentality of `pushing products' and asking yourself `what service, what benefit to I provide?' Then applying that thinking throughout your business. It may cause you to re-evaluate your situation. It may not. <br /><br /> If you want to be someone who lasts in business=85if you want to be an icon that people will look to for advice and inspiration down the line=85if you want to leave a legacy, then you're going to have to start by serving others. <br /><br /> To Your Success <bio>Adel ('Oddle') Refai is an online marketer, a marketing coach, and a fundraising consultant whose passion is teaching others how to market their businesses online; teaching the importance of combining a system with the correct mindset for success. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ The very best salesmen in the world have found a way to move any product to any consumer. We <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jokingly" rel="tag">jokingly</a> refer to them as the ones who could "sell ice to an Eskimo." They're the classic salesmen, the ones with charisma that remind the consumer of their innocent neighbor instead of the greasy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/used+car+salesmen" rel="tag">used car salesmen</a> across town. How does the average Joe, without that special charisma, learn to sell a product? Those who own their own home business understand the need to use <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketing+techniques" rel="tag">marketing techniques</a> that will move their products from their garage shelves to the consumer's hands. They do so in a number of ways. <br /><br /> First and foremost, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/great+marketing" rel="tag">great marketing</a> techniques do not necessarily have to cost a bundle. While every business should have a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketing+budget" rel="tag">marketing budget</a>, the marketing budget does not have to burst every time the company advertises. Free advertising exists. How? With the home business, family and friends of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/home+business+owner" rel="tag">home business owner</a> become the best endorsers of the product, if the product indeed does what it claims to. When a home business owner first opens shop, he often gives the product away. Seemingly illogical, if the product is great, the home business owner understands that those he gives the product to will rave about its uses, and thus they will share the good news with others, with paying customers. Thus the home business owner has free advertising. <br /><br /> Secondly, the home business owner takes advantage of community-wide events. He pays attention now to local fairs where small business or home businesses can rent booths. At such a fair, the small business can make far more contacts simply because of visibility than they could working at home for the day. While this particular <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketing+strategy" rel="tag">marketing strategy</a> may cost some rent money for the booth, the contacts made will more than compensate for the cost of the fair. <br /><br /> Finally, the home business owner aims for a specific client. Once he has determined his core clientele, he seeks out ways to reach that clientele. For example, let's say the business owner's product has specific implications for the stay at home mom. The business owner will find a way to advertise his product through MOPS meetings and at the local pre-schools. He uses the same marketing approach that we see in Eddie Murphy's film Daddy Daycare. In the film, two laid-off dads start their own daycare. The film shows them handing out fliers outside of businesses where moms of small children frequent: the beauty shop, the super market, and karate class. <br /><br /> Great salesmen understand marketing strategies. They find ways to make their product and service available to their clients. The biggest drawback to a home business lies in the lack of visibility. Thus home business owners must work twice as hard and simply pay attention to the opportunities available for visibility, and then make themselves known. <bio>Jim Biscardi is owner of Dynamic Wealth Systems, LLC and writes on a variety of subjects. <content:encoded><![CDATA[The concept of selling personal training is being given a new dimension by the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/personal+trainers" rel="tag">personal trainers</a> in this fast changing world where customer is the king. The age-old techniques of effecting a sale of the products to a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prospective+customer" rel="tag">prospective customer</a> using the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/persuasive+skills" rel="tag">persuasive skills</a> of a trained salesman are being redesigned and redefined. The vast increase in the use of Internet and the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/globalization+of+markets" rel="tag">globalization of markets</a> is acting as the catalyst in this <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/new+outlook" rel="tag">new outlook</a> and personal trainers are being sought to assist in effecting sales and increasing the sales, whichever suits one's requirement.<br><br>In addition to imparting training to the sales personnel to effect a sale, the modern day personal trainer is entrusted with the responsibility of selling personal training program to the individuals as well as companies aspiring to increase the top line growth of the firm.<br><br>The personal trainer views the sales from a perspective totally different from that of a salesman. This is the innovative thing that a personal trainer brings to the business and ensures that the sale of products, which is the ultimate motto, is increased. Basically, the salesman sells goods to the customers that depreciate over a period of time, both in terms of value and utility, and takes money from the customers for the sales made to them. <br><br>The personal trainer also does the same thing, but under a totally <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/different+perspective" rel="tag">different perspective</a>. He views the transaction not as a sale from the salesman's point of view, but as a purchase from the customer's point of view and takes the position of an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/assistant+buyer" rel="tag">assistant buyer</a>, educating the customer about the merits of the products he purchased. In the process, the personal trainer's feelings or ideas about the product is transferred to the buyer. This puts the customer in a different perspective in that he visualizes the value in the products he bought more than as a mere expense incurred at the persuasion of the seller.<br><br>The added advantage for the personal trainer from this approach is that the buyer will feel the urge more to buy the product than the seller selling the product. This transformation in the perception, especially from the customer's point of view, not only results in recurring sales but also increases the possibility for referral sales through the customer who already felt the importance of his purchase. This is the difference that a personal trainer brings to the business and is sought by individuals and companies for selling personal training programs to the individuals and the salesmen.<br><br>It has been pointed out that the personal trainer acts as an assistant buyer and brings about a drastic change in the perception of purchase from the customer's point of view. The personal trainer is quick to identify the need for the purchase of a product. Most of the purchases made by the people is to fulfill their emotions. Purchasing or buying, in the view of the personal trainer, by the consumers is to overcome the pain of not owning the product. <br><br>The personal trainer effectively interprets the difference between the want and the need for a product. It has been discovered that most of the purchases from the customers is primarily to satisfy a want and not to fulfill a need. This "want" is identified as the major driving force than the fulfillment of the need. The personal trainer exploits on this concept more and uses the same effectively for selling personal training programs to the salesmen, and in turn, make the sales force an effective one in the organization.<br><br>The personal trainer, in his complimentary sessions with the sales personnel or individuals, tries to drive this point of the importance of want from the buyer's perspective to his advantage. The personal trainer sets up a system for improving the sales of the product and approaches the issue with a clear strategy. Most of the programs dwell on the concept of want, understanding of the customer's preference for a product and the importance of congruence of ideas or feelings between the personal trainer or the salesman with that of the prospective buyer to effect a transaction between the two parties to the transaction.<br><br>One more aspect that is concentrated on by the personal trainer in imparting the unique selling personal training programs to the salesmen and the individuals alike is the perception of the salesmen with regard to the sale. The salesmen, by nature, or more interested in completing a sale and pocketing the commission that may accrue to them in the transaction. When this notion takes precedence, the importance of the buyer in the transaction takes the back seat and the probability of the success of a sales hinges more on the persuasion skills of the salesmen. The personal trainer is asked to help the salesmen change this perspective, and imparts the required selling personal training programs in a one-to-one interactive session. The innovative approach of the personal trainer finally triumphs and the probability of converting prospects to sales and retaining the customers is easily achieved.<br><br>Get good at selling personal training and your business will thrive<bio>Chris McCombs is an expert at <a href="http://www.kickbacklife.com/2008/04/29/the-easiest-way-to-sell-personal-training-services/" target="_blank">selling personal training</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Everyone knows of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kirby+vacuums" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kirby+vacuum" rel="tag">Kirby Vacuum</a>s</a>. They are well known, not only for their vacuum but the way they are marketed. They have been under a great deal of scrutiny, but their methods have worked. They have been and still are the most durable and popular vacuum on the market for decades. <br><br>The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kirby+company" rel="tag">Kirby Company</a> has been manufacturing vacuum cleaners and their accessories since 1914. They are based in Cleveland, Ohio and are a subsidiary of the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/scott+fetzer+company" rel="tag">Scott Fetzer Company</a>. <br><br><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jim+kirby" rel="tag">Jim Kirby</a> designed the first Kirby Vacuum right after WWI. In 1907 he developed the first vacuum that pushed dirty air into a cloth bag and filtered out the dirt. After that he continued to improve his designs. In 1925, he introduced the Vacuette Electric, with a removable floor nozzle and handle. This was the beginning of history of the Kirby vacuum we have today. When it finally went on the market, it was an instant success with huge sales.<br /><br /><br><br>Kirby vacuums have a great reputation for having the best suction of any vacuums on the market; they are long lasting, very durable and have a price that is higher than any other vacuum on the market. Their most current model uses the "<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/micron+magic" rel="tag">Micron Magic</a>" HEPA filter system. <br><br>They are a company that relies on their sales technique of going door to door. This way the customer is able to try and see how the vacuum works first hand. The salesmen go door to door, never knowing what kind of reaction they will get. Most people don't like solicitors and would prefer to have an appointment. <br><br>Their sales procedures are considered a bit hard sell and there have been a few allegations put out there that the sales reps are advised to target seniors who have a harder time refusing door to door salesmen. The older generation were raised with the door to door salesmen, such as the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuller+brush+man" rel="tag">Fuller Brush Man</a>, or the shoe salesman, and of course the Kirby having been marketed in this manner since the beginning.<br /><br /><br><br>Even with the controversial sales techniques, they are a company that stands behind their product. They are also very expensive, but they will last over the customer's lifetime. I need to mention that there are a few salesmen that have been known to claim a lifetime warranty on the Kirby vacuum. There has never been a lifetime warranty, but there is a 3-year warranty and a lifetime factory rebuild plan. The rebuild plan can be used anytime, but the customer is responsible for sending it to the company to have it rebuilt. This service will include a fee.<br /><br /><br><br>The Kirby Company provides a business opportunity for those who don't mind selling door to door. They offer some incentives to help their distributors, which are mainly young men that are still going to college. They do not require any investment to become a distributor and there is free sales training. With your sales, you are able to earn cash, trips and even cars. <br><br>To be a sales rep in this business you have to be pretty tough and be able to take quite a bit of rejection. You will be spending at least an hour to 2 hours doing your presentation and may not make the sale. But if you don't, you usually are able to leave with some referrals for future contact. <br><br>Your sales commission will be based upon the profit margin between your cost and the price you are selling it for. A family member sold Kirby vacuums and ended up owing the Kirby Company because he was not able to sell them unless he sold them below his cost. Not a profitable business for him in the least, but it could be very profitable for some, especially the young and ambitious.<bio>You can read our Unbiased, expert review of <a href="http://www.MLMreviewKings.com/kirby.html">Kirby</a> from Brian Garvin and Jeff West at <a href="http://www.MLMreviewKings.com">MLM Review Kings</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+selling" rel="tag">Car selling</a> is a very profitable business. This is why <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+salesmen" rel="tag">car salesmen</a> are paid very well. It is said that salesmen who can sell cars can sell anything under the sun. More often than not, the true <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/value+of+a+car" rel="tag">value of a car</a> is never revealed to the prospect; there is always a markup and the manufacturers know this well. But they don't do anything about it, or should I say, they don't dare to do it. But how do you avoid getting ripped off by them? Here are some tips to consider:<br><br>1. Always buy a car off season, like Christmas. People are busy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/buying+gifts" rel="tag">buying gifts</a>, so you stand a better chance at negotiating. July to October is also a good time when dealers try to get rid of inventory to make space for newer models.<br><br>2. Check out as many online offers as possible and print out their quotes to show to your dealership. Signup for their newsletters and look out for rebates and incentives. FightingChance.com is a good place to do your research.<br><br>3. If you're planning to get your car financed, get a copy of your credit information along with you. You can get it online at Equifax.com.<br><br>4. Never trade in a car that you still owe money on, the dealer will not pay it off on time and you will have to bear the late fees. If you really have to, take a commitment in writing so that you can later hold him responsible.<br><br>5. Never buy a car in desperation because the dealer will sense it and take advantage of you. Try to get a friend along with you for moral support, preferably someone who has good experience in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/buying+cars" rel="tag">buying cars</a>.<br><br>6. Never pay more than $500 deposit if the car is not in stock, and always pay by credit card. This way, you can raise a dispute if the dealer tries to suck more money on the pretext of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/price+escalation" rel="tag">price escalation</a>.<br><br>7. Don't be forced into an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/extended+warrantee" rel="tag">extended warrantee</a> on the pretext of being eligible for the loan. This is certainly not required for a loan to get approved. Additionally, the extended warrantee will not be provided by the company, but a third party. If you do want the extended warrantee, read the terms very carefully, quite a few things may not be covered. Get extended warrantee quotes at warrantydirect.com before visiting the dealership.<br><br>8. Stick with the included accessories provided with the car. Don't buy a single extra accessory from the dealer â€" they markup the cost from 40% to over 2000%! This includes but is not limited to rust proofing, scotch guard, car alarm, paint sealant, detailing and pin striping, credit / insurance costs, extended warrantee, etc.<br><br>9. Don't fall for the window etching scam. Dealers may tell you that it is required to get the loan as banks insist on it. This is a lie. You can get the car etch kit at an economical price at caretch.com.<br><br>10. Avoid getting cornered. Quite often, you will find that once a salesman is trying to convince you to buy, one by one more salesmen join you and try to wear you down and get you to hurry up and buy. Avoid being pushed by threatening to leave if they don't stop this harassment.<br><br>11. Always insist on understanding the offer at your own pace. Salesmen or managers may try to skim through some details or go very fast for you to understand, just to confuse you. Stop them and make it clear that you're a slow learner; it will take time for you to understand the stuff. Threaten to leave if they do not comply.<br><br>12. Don't fall for the forced credit application when you're buying a car on outright purchase terms. The dealer may tell you that it is the company policy or a requirement of the state laws. This is a lie; there is no such law anywhere that needs a credit application when you're paying cash.<br><br>I hope you find these tips useful. <content:encoded><![CDATA[People, for years have been hyped with the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jet+ski" rel="tag">jet ski</a> craze. Everyone, even when the price of a unit is high and they don't normally go out to open waters and do waves still show some extent of interest on buying one. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/jet+skis" rel="tag">Jet skis</a> are unquestionably a choice when it comes to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/personal+watercraft" rel="tag">personal watercraft</a>. They are sleek, maneuverable, practical in terms of the price as compared with larger vessels and very light. In fact, because of these qualities, jet skis are no longer contained in the recreational activity category. It is fastly becoming a form of transportation these days. <br /><br /> Due to the extreme public acceptance of this watercraft, businesses are now on the race of producing their own versions of jet skis in the effort of outdoing the market and the competition that it covers. All these mean only one thing- that consumers are faced with great varieties of jet ski models and products with equally enormous dealers who contend over the possibilities of making a sell. <br /><br /> Because of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/extreme+competition" rel="tag">extreme competition</a> for the market, dealers of jet ski device their own means of capturing portions of it. We have provided you some tips here that will help spot which dealer you should buy from and which actually deliver what they promised. Please read on. <br /><br /> Nothing beats an informed customer. If you know something about the stuff you are to buy, you are more or less likely to get the value that you are expecting. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/salesmen" rel="tag">Salesmen</a> are salesmen because they have the capacity to sell their ideas. How may times in the past have we bought something because we were convinced that they will benefit from them without the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/initial+intention" rel="tag">initial intention</a> of buying? Well, that is selling power. <br /><br /> Always demand quality but be reasonable. Of course quality is a relative attribute and everyone has his or her perception of what a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/quality+jet" rel="tag">quality Jet</a> Ski is. Well, it all lies in the mind. You have to know what makes a product worth buying and it will be only you who would determine that for yourself. Always assure to it that you can trust the product, even if it were bought second hand. <br /><br /> Always ask questions from the dealers of jet ski. This way, you will know if they themselves are informed of the product they are trying to sell on you. They should not only present you their selling points but also some of the most interesting facts about jet skis. But beware, these may affect the price and your decision. <bio>This content is provided by Low Jeremy. It may be used only in its entirety with all links included. <content:encoded><![CDATA[No matter what you are looking to buy you typically try to find the best deal out there, and I am guessing that it is pretty much a guarantee that if you knew about a great way to get great deals you would take advantage of it. One of the most difficult place to find a great deal is in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+industry" rel="tag">car industry</a> where <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dealer+incentives" rel="tag">dealer incentives</a> and cut throat <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/industry+practices" rel="tag">industry practices</a> push the prices up and up without consumer say in the process. However, there is one secret that has been kept tight and that most people think of as simply and urban legend that is to buy new cars at the end of the month.<br><br>The first reason why purchasing a vehicle at the end of the month can be so good for your pocket is that dealerships force the dealers to maintain a quota, moreover they incentivize them to make more than their quota. The quota is usually tallied up at the end of the month to determine how well each sales person is doing and therefore they are pushed to sell as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/many+cars" rel="tag">many cars</a> as possible as the end of the month comes. Furthermore, in desperation to sell enough cars to keep their jobs or receive extra benefits salesmen will often forgo a large profit on vehicles and will be quick to lower the price as the time for meeting their quota comes around. These incentives go beyond the small sales person and the local dealership, the manufacturer of the vehicles often times also offers some incentive to going over quota and also set <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/aggressive+sales" rel="tag">aggressive sales</a> goals that the dealerships usually have to truly work hard to meet if they have had a slow month. <br><br>The next reason why you can milk the salesmen for a good deal by the end of the month is that in recent years with the increase of information available for free on the internet, people have become better negotiators, and the people selling the cars have to rely more and more on the bonuses that they receive outside of their commission which they have to give up to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/intelligent+consumers" rel="tag">intelligent consumers</a>. Finally is the fact that the sales managers, who are responsible for the number of vehicles that the dealership sells in the month and keeping track of the vehicles on the lot, have to push to sell more vehicles in order to keep the corporate headquarters happy. So now you have to know how to get a good deal, you should start by finding vehicles that they have multiple of. If there are 3 or 4 of the same vehicle sitting on the lot than you can usually get an excellent deal on one of them because the dealership will be hoping to move them out ASAP. <br><br>Also, the largest inventory will get you the largest discount so going to a larger dealership that is in trouble can get you a vehicle that is much more affordable than going to a small dealership with specialized cars.<bio><a href="http://www.trianglerentacar.com/christmas-and-rental-cars.php">Rental Cars</a><a href="http://www.trianglerentacar.com/christmas-and-rental-cars.php">Christmas Rental Car</a></bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ No medium is so versatile and interchangeable as video. With a single <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/one+time" rel="tag">one time</a> investment into the video production, you can have many different uses and delivery methods. See how a one time video investment pays for itself over and over again, with just these ten ways. <br /><br /> 1. TV Commercials. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/statistics+show" rel="tag">Statistics show</a> that 93% of all people in an area still watch some sort of network programming. Plus with accurate demographic statistics, many businesses owe their huge successes to running effective TV spots. <br /><br /> 2. Web Video. Putting the same commercial spot or promotional video on your site is becoming quite popular, as it's easier for visitors to watch a video compared to sifting through mounds of tiny text. <br /><br /> 3. Promotional DVD. These are great to offer your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prospective+customers" rel="tag">prospective customers</a> to help them learn about your products or services, and will prove to them why they need to choose you over your competitors. <br /><br /> 4. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/business+card" rel="tag">Business Card</a> CDROMs. These are discs that are the size of business cards and usually have your actual business card printed on the front side of it. So everytime you pass out a business card to your contacts, they are presented with the opportunity to watch your promotional video, instead of just reading your motto on your business card. <br /><br /> 5. Kiosks. Depending on the type of business you have, an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/interactive+kiosk" rel="tag">interactive kiosk</a> will give your current or prospective customers the opportunity to access only the information they need. <br /><br /> 6. Virtual <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/salesmen" rel="tag">Salesmen</a>. When selling products in a retail environment, a video will capture the shopper's attention and inform them about the benefits of products that normally may be difficult to understand by just looking at the box. <br /><br /> 7. Trade Show Videos. Similar to the kiosk, a video display at trade shows will be more <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/intriguing" rel="tag">intriguing</a> than a traditional banner display, and make your booth less intimidating than having salesmen waiting to pounce on them. <br /><br /> 8. Product Catalog. If you have a customer by one of your products, then they should receive a DVD catalog of all your OTHER products for cross selling demonstrations. <br /><br /> 9. Direct Mail. When sending out brochures, pamplets, or folders of company information, be sure to include a DVD or business card DVD as well. Again, people will always do what is easiest=85and watching a video beats reading through pages and pages of information. <br /><br /> 10. Podcasts / PDAs. Compress your video down to a podcast or pda format, and distribute online. <bio>Paul Lyke is the Managing Director of MidSouth Visual, Inc. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/woody" rel="tag">Woody</a> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/maxim" rel="tag">Maxim</a> claims to be a former porno webmaster that made 10 million per year and knows all the dirty tricks about making money online. Is he really revealing underground <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/porn+industry" rel="tag">porn industry</a> tactics? Or is he another egomaniac who likes the sound of his own voice? <br /><br /> Let's face it, the internet is full of egomaniacs busy selling their wares. And there's thousands of us buying them in hopes of making a living on the internet. Trouble is, most of it's all hype with no substance. Instead of making money, we wind up with empty pockets. <br /><br /> Talk is cheap and all it takes to sell a plan is a lot of hype from a good salesmen. That would be the same salesmen you'd find selling snake oil on the street corner. That's where Woody Maxim differs. <br /><br /> Why you ask? Well, because here is a man that's "been there =96done that =96 and made more money than most of us can even get our minds around." And what he's decided to do is actually share that information. <br /><br /> For any of you that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/have+spent+time" rel="tag">have spent time</a> on the web you already know that it isn't as easy to make money as you might think. First of all you need to make search engines like <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/google" rel="tag">Google</a> happy. But to do that, you need traffic. Without good placement on the web no one is ever going to find you. Can you see where you find yourself in a vicious circle going nowhere? But Woody Maxim knows how to generate that traffic and he's willing to share the information. <br /><br /> Still not sure? Can't say I blame you. But consider this =96 Woody Maxim comes from the porn industry. The two most difficult industries to get traffic in are porn and gambling. That's because there are so many sites vying for that traffic. Now if Woody was able to figure it out for the porn industry, it's a shoe in he can generate <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/massive+traffic" rel="tag">massive traffic</a> for any niche. <br /><br /> And that's where you come in. If you are serious about becoming one of those website gurus you read about. The ones making millions just by spending some time on their computer, you'll want to find out what Woody has to say. If you're just playing around and getting your feet wet don't bother because Woody Maxim is looking for those that are serious about building a real business. <br /><br /> When we talk about the dot com bust that occurred we tend to forget about all the savvy individuals that walked away with millions in their pocket. Today making money on the internet it no different because if you aren't one of the early birds you are too late. And since most of us aren't real guru's and don't even fully understand what it takes to become successful we need to turn to those that have a proven record. Right now, there is probably no better teacher than Woody Maxim. <br /><br /> Between Woody's blog and his newsletter there's enough information to get you started in the right direction. And why should you be any different than anyone else? Your bright, business orientated, and have a desire to succeed. Woody Maxim has the proven tools to get you there! Are you up for the challenge? <bio>Travis Vicely has put together a bonus package for Maximum Overdrive that puts the information in each issue on steroids. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Cancer's high death rate and the distress and pain of traditional forms of treatment lead many people to alternative forms of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cancer+treatment" rel="tag">cancer treatment</a>. These alternative cancer treatments should not be used to replace traditional cancer treatment, and even if you use them as a supplement, keep your doctor well-informed, because some natural remedies such as St. John's Wort can interact with cancer drugs. Other alternative cancer treatments should not be used at all - <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/snake+oil+salesmen" rel="tag">snake oil salesmen</a> abound in the cancer tratment industry, preying on the desperation of sick people. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Here are some of the common mistakes many car insurance policyholders make. See if you recognize yourself: <br /><br /> You assume the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/insurance+salesman" rel="tag">insurance salesman</a> is your friend. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/insurance+salesmen" rel="tag">Insurance salesmen</a> are exactly that -- salesmen. And they do get compensated with bonuses and other rewards for selling certain types of policies. Those policies are not always the policies that are best for you. Remember that the next time you are shopping for auto insurance. Generally speaking, insurance salesman are rewarded for selling the smaller policies that leave the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/insurance+company" rel="tag">insurance company</a> less exposed in the event that you want to make a claim. These are the policies that are most profitable for the insurance company. So, as surprising as it might sound, you may actually be under-insured. <br /><br /> To make sure this doesn't happen to you, make sure that you have the basics: liability coverage, comprehensive coverage and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/collision+coverage" rel="tag">collision coverage</a> (see below). <br /><br /> Your deductible is too small. <br /><br /> Many consumers think that they need to protect themselves against every little scratch and dent. That's a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bad+idea" rel="tag">bad idea</a>. You should only insure yourself for those things that you cannot afford to lose. If your car is only worth a few thousand dollars, don't spend that much on premiums for collision coverage by buying a small deductible. <br /><br /> Another reason this is a bad idea is that you'll be tempted to nickel and dime your insurance company with every little <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/thing+that+happens" rel="tag">thing that happens</a> to your car. Eventually, your premium will go up or they could say, "we're declining future coverage." <br /><br /> So seriously consider getting a much higher deductible -- maybe even as much as $1000. You'll save money and your coverage will probably extend to a much higher limit. <br /><br /> All your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cars" rel="tag">cars</a> have the same insurance coverage. <br /><br /> If one of your cars is an old beater, don't cover it the same way that you cover your other cars. For example, if you have an old pickup truck that you use to transport building materials and you don't care if it gets dented or scratched or whatever, just get the minimum amount of coverage on it. Who knows? Maybe you just drive it a few miles a year. Get insurance that is appropriate for that vehicle and cover your other vehicles in ways that are appropriate for them. <br /><br /> All your cars are jointly owned. <br /><br /> There's really no reason to own a car jointly. If you share ownership with your spouse, it's possible that you could be exposed to liability if your spouse causes an accident. In other words, both of you could be sued. Similarly, when your child buys a car, or if you buy them a car, put the car in your child's name. That way, you can avoid liability for any accidents caused by your child. <br /><br /> You forgot your umbrella. <br /><br /> Here's how umbrella coverage works: if you're in a very bad car accident that causes a lot of property damage that is beyond which your insurance policy covers, you may have to pay massive amounts of money out-of-pocket. This is what umbrella policies are for: to protect you from liability that is way beyond the limits of your standard auto insurance policy. These umbrella policies are usually pretty cheap (a couple of hundred dollars) and can give you important coverage. <br /><br /> Conclusion <br /><br /> Hopefully this article has showed you some things that you can do, that will help you avoid common mistakes that car owners make when they buy auto insurance. <bio>For more info on Auto Insurance, visit Ara Rubyan's "Auto Insurance Money Saver" at <a href="http://www.autoinsurancemoneysaver.com" >http://www.autoinsurancemoneysaver.com</a>. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[If you're looking to sign on with an outfit that has over 100 years worth of experience, then the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuller+brush+company" rel="tag">Fuller Brush company</a> might provide you with just the opportunity you have been looking for. The Fuller Brush salesman is a figure that has been found in televisions shows, movies and plays, but the fact is, this company has quite justifiably made itself a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/household+name" rel="tag">household name</a> when it comes to cleaning products and domestic supplies.<br><br>The Fuller Brush company has a long history with the American public, one that started in 1906. Through a concentrated advertising program and with placement of salesmen in nearly every major and medium sized city in America, the Fuller Brush company had worked very hard to become one of an institution in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/american+landscape" rel="tag">American landscape</a>. If you're looking for a company with an excellent track record and a long history, it would be hard to find one with a better list of credentials than the Fuller Brush company.<br><br>If you are interested in selling <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuller+brush+products" rel="tag">Fuller Brush products</a>, it is important to note the fact that while there are still a few door-to-door opportunities available, much of the Fuller Brush merchandise is now available online. That being said, one of the ways that Fuller Brush invites people to get involved is through action as distributor from an in-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/store+location" rel="tag">store location</a>. Essentially, this is an opportunity for people who want to add Fuller Brush products to their business.<br><br>One of the main benefits you receive from selling Fuller Brush products is name recognition. You'll find that older customers might still remember a time when the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/door+to+door+salesmen" rel="tag">door to door salesmen</a> were ubiquitous, while your younger customers will be able to smile and remember the jokes and parodies of the Fuller Brush service. The products themselves have withstood the test of time, and it is to the Fuller Brush company's credit that they are continually working with their products to improve them. Fuller Brush cleaning products are rated quite high in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/modern+cleaning" rel="tag">modern cleaning</a> tests.<br><br>It is true that the Fuller Brush company does not necessarily signify something flashy or modern, but then it doesn't necessarily need to. You'll find that the Fuller Brush name is actually associated in most people's mind with a bygone era, and you'll also find that a bit of nostalgia doesn't do your sales any harm. While this isn't the most exciting products to sell, you'll find the name recognition goes a long way towards making these products popular.<br><br>When signing up as a rep for the Fuller Brush company, make sure you don't do it just because this rep is the company super star. Make sure you go sponsor hunting and conduct a few upline interviews. They must be available for three way calls to prospects. They don't have to be a Brian Garvin or Jeff West but they should at least have some grounded knowledge in the Internet Marketing field.<br><br>Before you join anything like this, do your research. Make sure that people will appreciate all the hours you spend building this new business.<bio>Learn the Lemons from the Straight MLM Winners and read about <a href="http://www.MLMreviewKings.com/fullerbrush.html">Fuller Brush</a> from Brian Garvin and Jeff West at <a href="http://www.MLMreviewKings.com">MLM</a> Review Kings. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ It is a doggone <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/crying+shame" rel="tag">crying shame</a> that there are so many people willing to take advantage of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/baby+boomers" rel="tag">baby boomers</a> who may not have saved enough for their retirement. Offers for extra employment and way to earn a lot of money in a short period of time that is plastered all over the internet and some folks are gullible enough to be taken advantage of. Spending a lot of money on promises that quite possibly cannot come true. <br /><br /> The internet has made instant communication possible with friends and family on any side of the globe, and has made <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/looking+up+old+friends" rel="tag">looking up old friends</a> much easier and contacting old <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/military+buddies" rel="tag">military buddies</a> is a boon for many of the old soldiers. However, it is also an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/open+invitation" rel="tag">open invitation</a> for those ne'er-do-wells who hope to perpetrate fraud against an unsuspecting and sometimes gullible segment of our society. <br /><br /> While many of these offers for part-time employment come with red warning flags, many fail to see them or heed them, being focused on finding a way to make enough money to live better when they do retire. Some may actually envision themselves in the pictures of fancy cars parked on the street in front of mansions. Did you ever ask why you never see pictures of Mr. Millionaire inside the mansion, or inside the garage or swimming in the pool? <br /><br /> Chances are if they had a picture taken there, they would be arrested for trespassing. For a few bucks, they can rent a fancy car, drive to a fancy neighborhood, and have their picture taken in front of someone's house while they are not home. The testimonials included in these ads never have contact information and no one seems to ask why. <br /><br /> Baby boomers have to remember a lot of life's lessons handed down by their parents such as if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is, or there's a sucker born every minute. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/snake+oil+salesmen" rel="tag">Snake oil salesmen</a>, of the early 1900s have not gone out of fashion; they just have a new and improved global means of hawking their wares. They can reach more people in a shorter time period for a lot less money than following the circus around the country selling their liquid health tonics. <br /><br /> It is cold, hard reality that many of the offers being made are fraudulent, designed to get the baby boomer's money with the promise that they can make a ton more by selling not only the product, but the business concept to their friends. When the time comes to ask questions or maybe, finally get paid for their efforts, the company disappears as fast as they cashed in your credit card voucher. <br /><br /> Baby boomers are for the most part a skeptical bunch and many are reluctant to hand over their cash for a promise. They want to see some tangible evidence of potential prosperity before they are willing to venture into no man's land, led by a stranger hiding behind an email address. However, some can be taken in by these modern traveling salesmen, but before investing in something with someone they do not know, they need to think back to the advice their parents often gave them: If you can't sell it to your parents or your friends, who do think is going to buy it? <bio>Raymond Lee is a freelance writer as well as a member of the baby boomer generation. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Everybody hates <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+salesman" rel="tag">car salesman</a>. They talk too fast, use too many clichés, and are generally exasperating. There's nothing worse than being verbally romanced only to find out you were ripped-off--or is there? <br /><br /> How about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/getting+ripped" rel="tag">getting ripped</a>-off <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/repeatedly" rel="tag">repeatedly</a>? How about getting ripped-off repeatedly for years? How about never even knowing you were ripped-off, repeatedly, and for years? <br /><br /> Welcome to service! When it comes to swindling, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/automotive+service" rel="tag">automotive service</a> representatives are the real experts. They have more experience, and way more opportunity to rip you off. <br /><br /> A car salesman has only a few chances to rip you off provided you even engage in negotiations. There's the price of the car, financing, leasing, accessories/options, extended warranties, your trade-in, and the general bull that wafts from the salesmen's mouth. <br /><br /> You should also watch out for the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/finance+manager" rel="tag">finance manager</a>. Today's finance folks aren't just <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/number+crunchers" rel="tag">number crunchers</a>, they're salesmen in disguise. This is where you'll be encouraged to buy the extended warranty and a host of other accessories that can all be packaged up nicely into your financing. <br /><br /> Car sales rip-off attempts are easily thwarted. Number one, you can just walk away! Also, there are numerous resources on <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/how+to+buy+a+car" rel="tag">how to buy a car</a> without losing your shirt. If you're interested, visit the RepairTrust resource link @ www.repairtrust.com and you'll find several sites that will tell you everything you want to know about buying, trading, leasing, financing, new, used...etc. <br /><br /> It's quite different in the world of car repair. Your car needs service. You HAVE to deal with a service representative, like it or not. <br /><br /> The folks in the dim underworld of automotive service are well-trained in the art of ripping people off. They're not the feeding-frenzied, thrashing sharks of sales that are easy to spot. <br /><br /> No, service representatives are the Great Whites. They primarily hunt alone, hiding in the murky waters of service, striking without warning. <br /><br /> What's really scary is that the service industry is infested with Great Whites. Traditional tips and suggestions to avoid their attacks don't work. This is evidenced by the fact that service customers are scammed "tens of billions of dollars every year." <br /><br /> Information is the key to STOP a Great White. If one knows who, what, when, where, why, and how it hunts, one can take control. <br /><br /> Importantly, "Sharks are not mindless eating machines." The Great Whites of the service industry are experienced and smart. There are so many attacks from so many different directions, and new technologies provide fresh chum daily. <br /><br /> With auto repair, technology creates confusion. Technology creates ripples and waves, making it difficult to see below the surface of even simple auto repairs. <br /><br /> The Great White can sense the anxiety of a service customer, like it can a struggling swimmer. In the midst of this confusion, the waters of service get even murkier, and SPLASH--it's cost you an arm and a leg. <br /><br /> In today's service environment, the service customer needs protection, and needs to be empowered with accurate information and powerful tools before even entering the waters. There's no need to lose any limbs, ever! <bio>Theodore P. Olson (Ted) holds extensive certifications from Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, GM, and ASE. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ It is a well known fact that every holiday includes the delight of shopping. Even tough you may promise yourself you'll resist the bargains (that often become clutter around the house after a couple of months), nevertheless you'll end up in the souvenir shop for `little' shopping for your loved ones. If you are traveling to Turkey, Egypt, or Morocco it becomes harder to resist this incitement. As a person who travels frequently to Middle East, I'd like to share some of my <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/personal+experiences" rel="tag">personal experiences</a> with North <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/american+travelers" rel="tag">American travelers</a> who are planning to visit these countries: <br /><br /> 1) First rule: Always bargain at the bazaars and Souks. Salesmen in carpet, jewelery and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/leather+shops" rel="tag">leather shops</a> work on <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/commission+basis" rel="tag">commission basis</a>; so never accept the first or second offer. Sometimes you can even get up to 70% discount over the original price. <br /><br /> 2) Try to judge the price by how much you would be willing to pay for it in your home country. Fix the price in your mind and stick to it. On the other hand, always keep in your mind the value of the local money. Try to think in the local currency; most items might sound cheap when converted to USD but might be very expensive for local people. So purchase like a local. <br /><br /> 3) Most salesmen understand many languages, so do not discuss anything in front of them. <br /><br /> 4) Use power of `No thank you!': At least learn this phrase in the local language and use it when you are hassled. Smile and walk away. <br /><br /> 5) Keep your own <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/currency+and+credit" rel="tag">currency and credit</a> cards out of sight. It is easier to haggle over a price with your `limited' local currency. <br /><br /> 6) Guides get commission over your purchases. If you are not satisfied with the price, try to come back on your free day and check the similar item at the other shops. So another golden rule: Have a free day for shopping! <br /><br /> 7) The top <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/touristy+places" rel="tag">touristy places</a> such as Khan El-Khalili usually visited in Cairo tours or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/grand+bazaar" rel="tag">Grand Bazaar</a> in Istanbul will have the most expensive prices. Find out the residential shopping areas for better bargains. <br /><br /> 8) For items where quality is important try to find a fixed price shop. You may pay little more but the quality will be superior. <br /><br /> 9) Haggling is necessary if you are buying high value items, such as gold and jewelery, but with low value goods it is not always worthwhile the time and effort. <br /><br /> 10) Shops in Middle East prefer cash. If you pay with cash rather than a credit card, you should have more power for getting a good discount. <br /><br /> 11) Always shop around. Never buy at the first shop; you can always come back. Shopkeepers will try to persuade you that they offer you the best value, but will not be offended when you say you want to look around and would come back. <br /><br /> 12) When buying gold/silver bargain on the price per gram not the price per item. <br /><br /> 13) Usually little grocery shops, coffee shops, supermarket chains will have fixed prices and bargaining is not accepted. <br /><br /> 14) Shopkeepers will show great hospitality. They will tell that purchase is not necessary, they will invite you to their shop, offer you tea, coffee; at the end you'll feel so ashamed to walk away without buying anything. Don't fall into this trap. <br /><br /> 15) If you are buying more than one item or shopping with a group, you can haggle for a greater discount. <bio>Nil Aykut is the Marketing Manager of Anatolia Tours and Travel Co. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Eleanor Valentine and Gary Yardley do basically the same <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/job" rel="tag">job</a> in an engineering company. They are both designers working on the same project and the Vice President has just made an announcement that special bonuses will be paid to employees making the best contribution in their field of expertise. The problem is, it's difficult to differentiate between Elly's work and Gary's work because they interact so closely. <br /><br /> This example demonstrates a few things about reward and recognition that can cause tempers to become frayed and relationships within the workplace to deteriorate. Unless these factors are properly dealt with, any reward and recognition system is potentially doomed to be a management plaything with no effect on performance and motivation or it will become an officially sanctioned method to extort money from the business. <br /><br /> Definition <br /><br /> Firstly, to judge whether a job is well done, both the supervisors and the staff need to understand what the job really is, whose job it was in the first place and whether it needed to be done at all. After all, when we talk about the performance of machines we focus on the important and relevant outputs. A <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/performance+automobile" rel="tag">performance automobile</a>, for example, accelerates for 0 to 60 mph in less than 6 seconds and brakes from 60 to 0 in 120 feet; if it also produces cappuccino and cookies that's kind of incidental and not a normal measure of performance. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unfortunately" rel="tag">Unfortunately</a>, when it comes to people, the outputs that you expect are never as simple. Of course <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/salesmen" rel="tag">Salesmen</a> produce sales, Engineers design products, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/accountants" rel="tag">Accountants</a> manage the money and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/human+resources" rel="tag">Human Resources</a> supply <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/skilled+people" rel="tag">skilled people</a> but; <br /><br /> don't Salesmen help to prevent bad debt getting worse? don't Engineers help to identify new skill requirements? don't Accountants smooth the sales process through efficient billing? don't Human Resources also upgrade the skills of Engineers through training? <br /><br /> The performance of people is such a broad ranging portfolio of skills, capabilities and competencies that it is often necessary to define the boundaries of a job really clearly to make sure that people know what their core accountabilities are. It is more common than you think that people find elements of another job really attractive, so they modify their job accordingly; adding the attractive elements and taking the credit for the results they achieve. <br /><br /> Performance as seen by managers <br /><br /> One must never generalize about managers as a breed; however they can be guilty of some worrying tendencies when considering performance. For example, they don't always see the gaps in continuity. Employees in larger organizations are highly adept at moving the focus of attention away from areas of underperformance when they know that the gaze of management is upon them. A thorough manager (they do exist!) will review every aspect of the job before making a judgment about performance. <br /><br /> Elly and Gary solved the problem for themselves by agreeing to share any bonus that came their way but they were still left feeling that the bonus system was, somehow, badly designed. <bio>Published by <a href="<a href="http://www.BoomerangAwards.com">http://www.BoomerangAwards.com</a>"><a href="http://www.BoomerangAwards.com">http://www.BoomerangAwards.com</a>.</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Let's face it, everyone needs a vacuum cleaner, they are absolutely necessary appliances. They not only pick up all the dirt, crumbs and debris from a carpeted area, there are all sorts of nifty attachments that can clean all sorts of surfaces including linoleum, hardwood floors, and upholstery. These new <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/upright+vacuum+cleaners" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/upright+vacuum+cleaner" rel="tag">upright vacuum cleaner</a>s</a> available today are not only lightweight, they boast strong suction powers, and amazing versatility. They don't have to deal with issues that former old clunky models presented, such as bulky and cumbersome <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vacuum+bags" rel="tag">vacuum bags</a>, hard to push heavy machines, and poor suction abilities. Thanks to the sleek and easy new <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vacuum+technology" rel="tag">vacuum technology</a> of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lightweight+upright+vacuum+cleaners" rel="tag">lightweight upright vacuum cleaners</a>, these issue are a thing of the past.<br><br>The History of Convenience<br><br>The history of the upright vacuum cleaner is actually a lot more fascinating than it may seem. The whole vacuuming process that takes place inside of an upright vacuum cleanere involves a changing in air pressure caused by a pump that is reducing the air pressure inside a tube. The surrounding atmospheric pressure then pushes air through the carpet into the tube, sucking up all the dirt and debris with it. This is the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/central+idea" rel="tag">central idea</a> behind the technology that is used in all vacuums, including upright vacuum cleaners. The very first machine to utilize this technology was the Whirlwind, back in 1868 by Ives W. McGaffney. This invention helped revolutionize cleaning potential all over the world.<br><br>Commercial upright vacuum cleaners have gone through all sorts of changes since 1868. When vacuum cleaners were first introduced, they were extremely expensive, with most costly a third of the price of a car. As the technology became more cost effective to make and more companies entered the market, vacuum cleaners became a staple of every middleclass home. Door-to-door salesmen and their convincing demonstrations to housewives everywhere helped facilitate the growing popularity of vacuum cleaners until now you won't find a home without one.<br><br>Upright vacuum cleaners have a cleaning head and a bag, or now a plastic refuse container, that catches all the dirt sucked from a surface. There are many kinds of attachments that make cleaning difficult surfaces or hard to reach spots extremely easy. The suction action is redirected to the attachment and can offer the same power as moving the unit across the floor.<br><br>Cheaper and Better<br><br>Over the past 15 years, upright vacuum cleaners have gotten significantly cheaper and better at the same time. Over time vacuum cleaners have gone from their past as an awkward and noisy yet compelling new technology to being a quiet, easy, affordable and powerful convenience. Upright vacuum cleaners have gone from costing a large fraction of the price of a car to costing as little of a moderately expensive meal for two. Also, we no longer have to rely on the biased opinion of door-to-door salesmen to make our purchasing decisions. We can now search any of the many upright vacuum cleaners review sites available online to read comparisons by real customers. Thanks to the internet, we no longer have take a chance on an unknown product.<bio>If you need more tips and information about <a href="http://www.vacuumcleanser.com/vacuum-cleaner/upright-vacuum-cleaner/">upright vacuum cleaners</a>, you may want to have a look at my <a href="http://www.vacuumcleanser.com">vacuum cleaners website</a>.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

The whole <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/christmas+season" rel="tag">Christmas season</a> has people shopping for gifts and generally no one is interested in buying a car. As a result, dealers are more open to bargain and salesmen settle on a lower price more readily. Hence the chance of your offer being accepted without too much haggling is greater. This theory further proposes that you can also get a good deal from the month of July to October as it is around this time that dealers try to get rid of old stocks to accommodate new arrivals. In order to provide space for the new models dealers willingly reduce prices of the present range. Despite the fact that these cars apparently seem cheaper, we believe that clearance sales are not that favorable to buyers for reasons more than one. Especially in case of used cars, you run the risk of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/purchasing+a+car" rel="tag">purchasing a car</a> that has not been sold earlier as it is most out of shape.<br><br>Another theory dismisses both of the above statements and recommends that the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/best+time+to+buy+a+car" rel="tag">best <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/time+to+buy+a+car" rel="tag">time to buy a car</a></a> is when you feel you are ready to buy a car. It is when you are sure of what you want and have already done the required homework. Car dealers and salesmen are only interested in their own pay checks and will do their best to sell you a car that will give them the highest commission. They also try to hurry you into buying a car the moment you enter the showroom and it is due to this created <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sense+of+urgency" rel="tag">sense of urgency</a> that you end up buying the car they prescribe and not the one you want.<br><br>Irrespective of when you decide to buy a car, the key to getting a good deal is information. Be it at Christmas, or during clearance sales or anytime that is suitable for you, it is very important that you research thoroughly the models you are interested in. Make sure you are clear about the things you are looking for in your new car and already have an idea of the deals currently available on the car of your choice. You can really buy a car anytime provided you are well prepared.<br><br>If you are still not feeling very confident here are four simple steps to help you profitable deals while looking for a car no matter what time of the year it is.<br><br>i) Some dealers refuse to bargain over the price of a car. If they accept you opening offer too willingly and do not try to barter for a higher price, there might be something wrong. Go somewhere else.<br><br>ii) While negotiating the cost of a car do not discuss the monthly expenses the car entails. Instead focus on the price of the car and its various features. You'll end up playing less.<br><br>iii) If you are thinking of buying a new car never wait till your old car has totally stopped functioning. If you are desperate for a car, the car dealer will sense that and take advantage. Make sure you have enough time so that you can look around and settle for the best deal available. Never shop under desperate circumstances as it stops you from making correct judgments.<br><br>iv) Make sure that you have researched enough before settling for a car. Check whether the car suits your needs before any money changes hand.<br><br>We believe that the best time to buy a car is not any particular month or season. It is not a particular date on the calendar but any time when you are in the position to make the requisite inquiries and do the necessary. We suggest that you purchase one of the widely available books that discuss this subject and begin by reading it. So go ahead and see yourself get a car you can be proud of. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Salespeople who prejudge prospects based on appearances, the car in the driveway or the home they live in are missing out on some of the best clients. Having experienced this personally, I hope the two salesmen who decided I couldn't possibly be a buyer are reading this. They never knew how much they lost. <br /><br /> My new husband and I relocated to a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/new+city" rel="tag">new city</a>, from the East to the West. We started a marketing company and soon after, opened a printing plant. The hard work and the long hours started to pay off and it was time to purchase a home. We found a brand new 2 bedroom, 2400 sq. ft. beauty. An in-floor spa in the master bathroom, an atrium with skylight in the living room, it was really a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lovely+place" rel="tag">lovely place</a>. <br /><br /> In my travels, looking at <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/model+homes" rel="tag">model homes</a>, I remembered seeing one with all the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/interior+windows" rel="tag">interior windows</a> shuttered and we both really loved the look. Noting the name of the design studio, my husband and I decided to stop in on the way home. Thinking back, I guess after a tough day at the office, in blue jeans and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sweat+shirts" rel="tag">sweat shirts</a>, we may have looked a bit seedy but still clean and fairly presentable. <br /><br /> As we walked through the door of the studio a little bell rang and a gentleman in the back peered out at us. We could hear him say, "Oh, they're just walk-ins." Someone finally came out front, I told him I saw the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shutters" rel="tag">shutters</a> in the model home and I would like someone to go out to our new home and measure the windows. <br /><br /> Please note that I did not ask for the price or an estimate. I knew what I wanted. This salesperson said with a definite snooty air about him, "They're expensive, you know." I looked at him and said, "That's okay." He agreed to send his 'measuring guy' over and would call me tomorrow. He called our office the following day and these were his words, "Oh Mrs. Robinson, that's all I can say is WOW, what a house!" I would love to do your whole decorating job." It seems the man he sent to measure called him to come and see the place. The moral of the story... I did buy the shutters, because they were what I wanted but because of his initial attitude, someone else did the decorating and that sale would have made a lot more than his day. <br /><br /> I guess we are an impetuous couple. One evening with no previous thought, we decided to buy a new car. We left our office, not really a place for formal type business suits, but again presentable. We walked into a Cadillac dealer's showroom and while peering out the window I saw the car of my dreams. It was a deep turquoise Eldorado with the covered wheel on the back. It was a bit late and there was only one salesman left. When he approached, my husband pointed outside and said, "We want to buy that car!" <br /><br /> Would you have taken that as a buying signal? I would have had my order form out and the keys in the customers hand before they knew what was happening. Here's what this car salesman said, "We're closing in about 20 minutes. Why don't you come back tomorrow and I'll give you a test drive?" The moral here...we crossed the street and bought a Lincoln Town Car. <br /><br /> To prejudge means to judge before hand, prematurely, and without all the facts. You can easily judge the character of others by how they treat those who they think can do nothing for them. I'm certain both these cases were a matter of prejudgment. We are both blue jeans kind of people, no airs about us, but don't automatically dismiss us. It's your pocket that will suffer. <bio>Helen Robinson was the VP of a large marketing firm.
