Marketing of a product or a service requires a plentiful budget. Through proper planning and via the proper tools, you can arrange various communication processes for marketing. One of the cheap and the most economical ways of marketing are flyers.

Flyers are widely used for the advertisement of small businesses as well as large corporations. Most people believe that flyers used to work 10 years ago (and not now) but there are a number of companies which are still using flyers as an important marketing tool. No doubt, in the current fast age of the internet, flyers do not have a prominent position in the market but still they have are around. Customers are becoming aware of the products and services being offered via flyers, and if your flyers do not boast selling powers, then they will not attract clients.

Homeowners receive a number of advertising flyers daily and sometimes they get offended by this inundation of paper and advertising. Companies obviously go for flyers because they are cheap; therefore, companies should try to invent some innovative ideas for flyers which may change the customer's mind. One very interesting piece of logic which most of the highly-ranked organizations put forward concerning the use of flyers, is that the flyers are cheap and if they opt for advertisements through flyers then it gives a 'cheap' image to their companies as well. Most of the customers also believe that flyers are very cheap and a person who has nothing to do with their life can start up a small business and go for flyers as advertising.

So, if you want to bring business to you, then you should consider a change in traditional flyers. You should come up with some extraordinary ideas to prove yourself. One of the interesting ideas available is to use small folders instead of paper for flyers and then put them on doorknobs. Similarly you can also use small paper bags with the logo of your company and you can put flyers in this and then distribute them to potential clients. You can also vibrant and catchy colors for flyers, and even if you are using back and white printing then opt for a heavy piece of colored paper. Basically, your aim should be to design a perfect flyer which looks impressive when the customer holds it.

Another thing which you should keep in mind is that you can circulate flyers, especially when there are holiday offers, sales, free trial offers and other discount offers, because then they will be more effective. You are carrying advertisements with a cheap marketing tool but you should never ignore your target audience. The message printed on the flyers should be designed with respect to your target audience and the content should be very specific instead of detailed. Moreover, it should look professional and it should tell your customers how you are different from your rivals.

Now, if you are able to design successful flyers then you can really see a change in the sales volume of your business. Flyers are suitable for small businesses but large corporations can also use them with more creativity and innovation.<bio>Solopress is an established printing company in the UK, providing a variety of stationery products such as advertising flyers, business cards and letter heads, for you and your business.</bio>

Selling your home by owner hinges on the marketing effort that you put forth from day one. If you are willing to market your home with a lot of passion, this will pay off for you in the long run. The question is: how are you going to spread the word about your home? This is a good question to ponder well before you actually put your home on the market. After all, you want to make sure that your marketing plan is ready to go early on, and that it can sustain itself for weeks on end.

One of the most overlooked marketing methods is for sale by owner flyers. Believe it or not, these can be used in a number of different ways. Here are three of the best ways for using for sale by owner flyers.

1. You can add for sale by owner flyers in a box next to your for sale sign. The nice thing about doing this is that passer-bys can pick up a flyer to obtain more information. From there they will be able to make a better decision on whether or not to get in touch with you.

2. Make sure that you have plenty of for sale by owner flyers to hand out at your open houses. When potential buyers walk through they are going to want more information before they leave. By having a well detailed flyer, you can give them everything that they want plus more.

3. Have you ever considered handing for sale by owner flyers out to your neighbors? This is a great way to build up a buzz about your home. And many times a neighbor will know a friend or family member who wants to move into the area.

Using for sale by owner flyers is a low cost way to market your home. If you are not using flyers to generate interest in your property, you should consider doing so right away. You can design a simple flyer in a few minutes, and then head to the print shop for the final touch. Make sure that you get enough to start out with. From there, you can always get more printed if your home stays on the market, or you run out for one reason or the next.

For Rental Properties in Mumbai(Bombay), India check the link http://www.bharathrentals.com/browse/all/all/Mumbai <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for rental portal http://www.BharathRentals.com </bio>

They are commonly used for student promotions throughout the country.

You want your flyers to travel all over town, only you'd

probably prefer it wasn't in the dustcart or stuck to the bottom of someone's shoe. What steps can you take to avoid this?

Here's a few hints and tricks to help your flyers avoid the trash:

1. Don't miss the boat before you start. Double-check local Fresher's week and 2005/06 term dates with your local universities, as they vary nationwide.

2. Make sure there's a reason for students to keep your flyers. Can you include a drinks' promotion, discount or special offer in the copy?

3. Always include the key facts. Students need to know what, when, why, how and where. List all relevant info, such as prices, times, dates, venue or address, contact details and your url.

4. Always double check your spelling and grammar before you go to print.

5. It may sound obvious but do a spot check on the reliability of your delivery agents. You've got a great deal on print, don't blow it with distribution.

6. Remember to leave your flyers in the places where your target student hangs out, read Meet the students for some helpful placement ideas.

7. Strong visuals or topical humour help students to remember your promotion. They may even stick your flyer on their bedroom wall; beats the Simon Cowell poster their mum bought them for Christmas.

8. Ask a few local students their opinion of your sample flyer designs to see which one has the most market appeal.

9. Want to increase sales and profit? Handing out the flyer yourself can maximise your budget. Your personal enthusiasm and a friendly face can work wonders.

10. Er, try not to stand near a bin. <bio>Guide provided by http://www.facemediagroup.co.uk </bio>

One of the biggest mistakes people make when holding a garage sale is not advertising enough. Most people think that it is enough to put a single ad in the local paper one week before the sale. Usually these people are too worried that they will lose money on their sale because the ad costs too much. That is nonsense.

When you don't advertise much, you don't get many customers. When you don't get many customers, you have to sell at their price, because if you don't, there is no other customer looking to buy that item. However, if you have a lot of customers looking at the same items, you can set the price and not need to haggle because you know that there is already another person wanting to pay for it. The more you advertise, the more customers you get, and the more you are in charge.

Most people don't bother to use flyers very much anymore. Perhaps they think they are too busy to put them out, or that they won't work. However flyers are not that difficult to use effectively. When done right they can bring tons of people into your sales. You just need to keep in mind that while places with bulletin boards set up for flyers and such get a lot of traffic they also get a lot of 'flyer competition'.

This means that your garage sale flyer MUST STAND OUT and CATCH PEOPLE'S ATTENTION or it will simply be lost in a sea of paper! So, use bright paper, and a LARGE BOLD HEADLINE that gets attention by being different. Then let the rest of the flyer give the details of your sale. Let me say that a little differently: you need to use a headline that causes people to stop and read your flyer.

This does not mean you need to be wildly promotional or crazy with your headlines. But if there are 19 flyers on the board that say "Garage Sale on Saturday", and your's is the same, it just won't be read. However if your flyer says something different it will attract more attention. So try something like the following instead:

- We've Got What You Need for your garden at 90% off new prices - Huge Discounts On all Home Products this Saturday

Then all you need to do is print them up and put them in your car and ask if you can post one at every store you visit during your weeks chores. No extra work is involved at all. Take these ideas and run with them and your next garage sale will be on its way to a resounding success. <bio>http://www.garage-sale-riches.com provides excellent resources on how to hold a profitable garage sale with the least amount of work and hassle. Great selection of tips and advice will guide you to a very profitable and enjoyable garage sale experience. </bio>

Many years ago I started looking into the income opportunities that I saw advertised in the back of certain magazines. These ads were intriguing to me because I was young, and didn't have a lot of money. The idea of making good money while doing something extremely easy was very tempting.

So, I bit.

I sent away for the information (back in those days it was a flyer or sales letter you got via snail mail). The ad's title probably said something like this: Make $200 to $500 a week stuffing envelope from home.

Since I'd had experience stuffing envelopes while doing office jobs, I knew this was something I was qualified to do in my sleep. Oh boy, was I excited about receiving that information. When I got my Make Money at Home Stuffing Envelope kit, it consisted of a set of instructions, and lots of other flyers for get rich quick programs.

The instructions told me that all I had to do was have a stack of copies made of the very same flyer that I'd just received that promoted free envelope stuffing jobs. Next, I'd order a certain amount of "fresh" mailing labels to go along with the flyers. Of course, I was in luck because the company that sent me the instructions also conveniently worked with a printing company where I could purchase all my flyers and mailing labels from at the same time.

At first I was a little surprised that that was all there was to it. I mean, I thought I'd be finding out which legitimate companies would hire me to stuff envelopes for them from home. Instead, I would be offering the same opportunity I got to other people and would make money from the company when those people placed orders through my mailings.

Oh yeah, that's the other part. I was required to spend my own money for postage and flyers, of which I was sure I'd make it all back after getting lots of orders (with my affiliate ID attached) from people who were as eager as me to buy flyers and posters to make easy money from home.

Ha!

Needless to say, I never got a dime from that company. I was taken in by the old envelope stuffing scam and there was nothing I could do about it but take my lumps and move on. Unfortunately, I moved on to mailing out other get rich quick opportunities (what can I say? I was a slow learner).

If you are considering a stuffing envelope from home opportunity, stop right here and don't give these offers any more of your time. If you take the bait, you will only lose hundreds of dollars, your valuable time, and feel foolish for being gullible. Believe me, I know what that feels like.

After several years of wasting time and money, I finally figured out who the real get rich quick winners were in this whole scam =96 the printing companies. Think about it for a second. Business is slow, you figure out you can place an ad that promises instant riches for not much work. Let the interested people know you can print up those nice flyers and mailing labels for them for a nice set fee, then watch the money roll in.

What about those fresh mailing labels?

There were lots of bad addresses =96 better known as nixies. The ones that do get delivered are probably quickly tossed in the garbage. How many sales flyers do you keep?

Just some food for thought. Real businesses do not need people to stuff envelopes from home - this is a complete pipe dream. Trust me, I have stuffed plenty of envelopes while working various office jobs and this was NEVER outsourced to individuals. Plus, if there is a large mailing, there are automatic machines that do the job quickly and efficiently.

I hope I have succeeded in discouraging you from handing over your hard-earned money to these scammers. These companies feed off of people's desire to make easy money, or those who need to bring additional money in to add to their income, but you won't get any help from them - just empty pockets. <bio>Read my free review on some easy to start homebased business ideas now. http://hubpages.com/hub/Homebased_Business_Opportunity_Review </bio>

In this article, I am going to go over the different between Facebook Ads and its predecessor Facebook Flyers. They are both great services that have really changed how people are advertising on the Internet. Let's look in depth the changes since flyers.

Facebook Ads, formally Facebook Fliers are getting a lot of attention around the Internet. Since Facebook started offering advertising solutions, it seems their way of providing value to the marketer has improved with every update. At first, they had a program called Facebook Fliers. The basic concept of Facebook Fliers was you paid for per thousand impressions. While this was a good concept, it didn't work as well as it way supposed to. The current program being used is called Facebook Ads, which has the option of paying per click or per impression. The targeting, pricing, and setup seemed to improve with Facebooks newest creation. The general consensus found with everyone I have spoke to is they are experiencing much better results using CPC versus CPM. If you think about it, if your visitor actually takes the time to read your ad, and then click it, they have to be interested.

Let's look at the difference between Flyers and Ads:

With Facebook Flyers, this is what the user would view, with no impressions. Facebook first offered these as a way for students to get the word out about clubs, jobs, and other campus activities. After Facebook opened up Fliers to any marketer they realized they were going to have to switch it over to "Facebook Ads." Notice on our 2nd image the ad says "Sponsored" at the bottom; this signifies that Facebook is being paid per click through the promoter.

Let's think, what is really better, Ads or Flyers? Would you as a marketer and promoter rather pay per thousand impressions or pay per qualified click you receive? Well, lets look at the pros and cons of paying per click vs per thousand impressions.

First, an impression is just that, an impression. What are the chances that someone looking at their messages, groups, and comments is going to glance over and look at your advertisement? Probably not that good, out of 1000 impressions you could probably expect a 0.5%-1% click-through-rate or about 7.5 clicks. Now, let's look at the other side of things. With Ads, you are only charged per click every time someone actually wants to visit your webpage. This means the user is qualified as being a real and prime lead for your offer.

In my opinion, being charged per click versus per thousand impressions is definitely the way to go. I would feel much more comfortable in paying for advertising knowing that I was only charged when a user actually wanted to see my ad. Sure, you are going to have the users that click the ad because they are bored or really just want to play around, but that is with any advertising.

Facebook Ads is great and really changing the way people advertise today on the Internet. <bio>Dirk Wagner is a programmer who has been able to uncover all the secrets of advertising and making money on Facebook.
Business owners need to use a variety of marketing strategies in order to build a successful business. Many business owners do not use multiple marketing strategies when building a business. This is a key reason most businesses end up failing. Marketing strategies are essential when building a business. Having one marketing strategy is great but in order to make the most out of your business you should employ lots of different marketing strategies. Your marketing strategies do not have to be complicated, in fact the simpler the better. Having a complex marketing strategy does not necessarily mean it will achieve better results. In most cases the most basic marketing strategies have achieved high levels of success for me. There are many ways to market both offline and online. You should use a combination of both to reach the most consumers. Your marketing strategies should also be tailored towards your targeted consumer base.

Your offline marketing strategies should include flyers, letters, business cards, and drop cards.Flyers are great to pass out at large events, depending on what you are selling. For instance conventions are perfect for flyers. Passing out flyers at ball games, malls, and church events is not really effective unless your product is in line with one of those themes. Finding a convention inline with what you are selling is priceless. For instance if you sell computers, passing out flyers at a convention centered around computers would help you increase sales. Setting up a booth would also help. Sending actual letters to your current customers and local community is also a great way to find new and repeat business. Lastly sponsoring events for your local sports teams, youth organizations and churches is a great way to build a relationship with your local community. Free promotional give always are a great way to gain new customers. Take a look at Mc Donald's they do an excellent job of this with the free toy which comes with every happy meal. And their monopoly game brings in huge amounts of business. The key is to offer people something they want, like a free appliance or something. Promotional giveaways can really help bring new business to you.

Some online marketing strategies are writing press releases. Press releases are a great way to get your business out in the open. Another way to get free publicity although it is not online marketing is to build relationships with your local papers. Having a paper write a story about your business will give you instant creditability and lots of exposure. Using Pay Per Click is also a great way to build your business online. With pay per click you must know what you are doing or have someone who knows what they are doing in order to be effective. You will also need at least a budget of 1,000 dollars a month depending on what keywords you are going after.

These are some very basic marketing strategies but they can be very effective if used properly. <bio>Aaron Aldama wrote this article to learn more marketing strategies click on the link http://www.homebasedbusinessnewyorkcity.com/ </bio>

Although it is clear that most website users of the internet use search a engines to find their destination, is there a better alternative?

I recently had a look at the stats of a website I have been working on. To my amazement only 5% of the visitors came from other websites or search engines, the rest were direct requests. This website is only 3 months old, so it is fairly new with barely any link popularity, but for such a new website an average of 150 visitors a day, is not too bad.

I asked the owner how he was promoting his website, and to my amazement he was using none other than flyers. The website is advertising his adventure tourism business, as you may have noticed when you visit a tourist destination there are plenty of flyers on the counter. Advertising all sorts of accommodation or locations to visit.

He employed a very smart Graphical Designer to create a flyer that is very eye catching. These flyers are so catchy that he has told me that he never has enough. You may be thinking that this is expensive because you have to pay for the printing, but in actual fact it is much cheaper than some internet advertising. For instance to even have his website listed optimally on Googl's Adwords he would be paying in excess of 50c a click. Whereas printing flyers that can be passed on for years only cost 23c each.

On the other hand some people choose to spend thousands on optimising their websites, gambling to be in the top of the results. Or you could choose to use paid advertising, but targeting your potential customers can be difficult and costly. I am certain that the old fashioned flyer advertising is here to stay.

The benefits of flyers are astronomical; targeting your audience is the key to success. Travel destinations, travel agents and rental agencies are all targeting his potenshal customers. Since he first began his business, he has always used flyer advertising, and with the amalgamation with the website business is soaring. This indicates to me that with the synergy of the real world and the internet we can create very powerful advertising campaigns. <bio>Mike Rodgers Customer Relations Private Postal Services http://www.private-services.com To discuss online issues please visit: http://www.private-services.com/forum/ </bio>

Many large retailers such as Macy's or Wal-Mart are using direct mail techniques in order to reach out to their customers. These large companies often mail out sales flyers that highlight what will be on sale in their retail stores that week. Retailers that have special sales often send them out as well.

You may not thing that you can implement direct mail techniques in your own small business, but this can be very effective in your community or trying to reach your target market. It can be used effectively for little money, although it's not as flashy as advertising on TV, often the cost for acquiring new leads is much less.

You may or may not have noticed, but direct mail techniques have been used for many years. A lot of people ca still get their mail daily, even though they have become accustomed to using email for personal and some business communication. In the past, this method has been used more by larger companies. More profitable companies implement direct mail techniques into their overall marketing strategy and are very successful.

People often ignore both the radio and TV, and they can do so rather easily by blocking out the ads or changing the station or channel. Implementing direct mail techniques is much less invasive and when offers are received they can just place them aside and look at it later.

You should remember that implementing direct mail techniques gives you more say than TV or radio spots if you are selling a product or service. You can print just about anything you want, and you don't have to cram your information on some tiny 30 second spot ad. You can be sure that your potential customers and clients get all the information they need to make and informed decision.

If you implement direct mail techniques the right way, it can be very effective. People will receive ads and flyers in the mail as long as they still have postal service. You have to determine what strategy of delivery is best for you. Should you use a bulk rate, or a live stamp? That all depends on your target market. Certain direct mail techniques can be applied to one campaign, however not all of them. There's no "one size fits all" so to speak with direct mail techniques.

You can get all the information you need as to how to effectively run a campaign by going to your local post office and talking to them about specific direct mail techniques relating to postage and laws. They will be able to discuss bulk rates. They could also advise you on which day is the best so mail out your materials and other rules that you may need to know. <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
Looking for some new ideas in money making, maybe this article can help you out. We will cover a method of making money that is often very overlooked. Remember when it comes to making money there are no rules (just as long as it is legal) and new ideas can be worth millions.

Writing for other people is a nice way to earn an income online or offline. Text is everywhere and most people do not want to take the time to write. So they hire someone to write for them. You can make money not only by writing articles but you can also write sales letters, the text for flyers, brochures and ads. Everyday businesses are looking for solid writers.

Next you should pick out a certain type of writing style and focus on that one type of writing. So let's say you want to write sales letters, start researching how a quality sales letter is written. Even if you have never written before it is ok, you will just have to learn. Now that you have done your research, it is time to perfect your writing skills. Start by joining an affiliate program or getting the rights to a product to sell. The goal here is not necessarily to make money off the product but to see how effective your writing skills are. Once your sales letters start selling the product then you know you are able to market your writing skills. If you are not getting any sales then keep on working on your writing skills. Once your customers see a boost in sales after hiring you, they will keep going through you.

This may seem a little tough at first but once you find a writing style that works for you then the rest is easy. Most writers start out by overloading themselves. Only take on the amount of work you feel comfortable with, not getting your articles to your customers on time is one of the worst things you could do as a writer. There are many other new ideas in money making this is just one. <bio>New Ideas In Making Money was written by Eric Fields. http://airpr23.prowealthsuccess.com/ This article may be reprinted provided no part thereof is edited in any way and this resource box is included. </bio>

Just because your business is on the Internet doesn't mean you should limit yourself to online advertising. Search engines and email marketing aren't the only way to drive customer traffic to your website after all. First of all there is the ever-important business card, which should be kept close at hand at all times, and handed out to everyone you meet. Flyers and newspapers as well as other community media can also help raise awareness of your online business. By adding local advertising methods to your online efforts, you can greatly enhance your chance of success.

Business Cards

Business cards are the first must-have of every businessperson whether online or offline, big corporation or smallest home-based business. A great many companies offer inexpensive but professional looking business cards in a variety of styles appropriate for any type of occupation. If you have a good quality printer and a little know-how, you can attempt to print out your own business cards. Both methods cost about the same when you consider card stock and printer ink, so it's really a personal preference which you choose.

If you decide to order your business cards from a professional printing company, you next need to choose whether you will go to a storefront business or order your cards online. Personally, online is probably less expensive and just as good quality but you will have to wait for the cards to be shipped to you. If you're the impatient type a storefront might be quicker but you will still have to wait for them to print up and if there is any sort of backlog, that could take awhile too.

Flyers

Flyers can be a help in advertising your business if you carefully consider where to place them. If your product is geared towards a certain age group, college students or senior citizens for example, hang your flyers at locations where individuals in that age range tend to frequent such as universities or senior centers. It is best to get a professional to make the flyers for you since most home printers don't have the capabilities and store bought flyer sheets aren't the greatest. Choose a style that matches the style of your business, professional, elegant, fun and wacky, whatever your business mission stands for.

Press Releases

A highly effective and inexpensive advertising method is press releases. A press release is a short statement you send out to local newspapers and magazines that speaks of your business's mission and the service or product you offer. Press releases don't cost anything but your time unless you hire someone to write it for you, which can be money well spent if you have little experience with press releases. <bio>Dock J.
There are numerous business opportunities available online. Many of these opportunities come with the notion of "make lots of money" or "get rich quick". It's too easy for someone to bounce around from one opportunity to the next. The problem is, most people never will find success in network marketing because they do not take the time to educate themselves on how to be effective marketers.

What is an effective marketer? When you join a network marketing company, information will be given to you on how to market your business. This information usually consists of marketing to your warm market, posting flyers and business cards in several locations, and attending or conducting opportunity presentations.

Most network marketing companies will teach you to make a list of at least 100 family and friends. This is called your warm market. After constantly trying to sell your new opportunity to your warm market, they will hide from you when they see you coming! This is usually because they have already said no to your opportunity as well as many others that have approached them.

Posting flyers and business cards in your local area is another form of marketing that will be taught by your company. It is believed that if you leave enough business cards and flyers in local businesses that people will contact you about your opportunity. The reality is that you will spend far more money purchasing business cards, copying flyers, and spending money on gas driving to all these locations than the money that will be generated by any sales that may result from your efforts.

Finally, you will be encouraged to do home presentations, parties or attend local opportunity meetings. Most companies encourage you to attend as many local opportunity meetings as possible and bring people with you when you attend. The problem with this technique is that many people will not want to go to your presentation. Ever wonder why there are more company representatives at these meetings than there are new prospects? And besides, doesn't driving all over town to these meetings defeat the purpose of having a business that you can work from home?

The above techniques are not effective for the average person. This is why there is over a 97% failure rate in the network marketing industry. Network marketing companies do not take the time to teach true marketing techniques simply because the average person will not apply the necessary techniques for long term success.

Education is the key to success! You have to educate yourself on what works and does not work. You need to learn how to write copy for advertisements, how to write prospecting and closing scripts, how to generate leads, and how to use the internet effectively so people will find YOU as opposed to you finding them. This is marketing!

An excellent resource that can teach you these essential skills is Success University. Success University, http://sdavidson2.successuniversity.com/new became the #1 most visited personal development company on the Internet in their first year in business. Success University will not only teach you how to create a solid home business, but will teach you attitudes and strategies that will allow you to be successful in all areas of your life. If you are serious about your business, education is an absolute must. Relying on the teachings of the typical network marketing company will ultimately set you up for failure due to the lack of teaching the true skills that are necessary to be a success. <bio>Sandra Davidson is a home based internet marketer.
There are many ways to market your travel business or team up with others in the travel industry for fundraisers. And some popular ways involve the use of travel vouchers.

Travel vouchers are generally issued by companies in the travel industry like airlines for complimentary airfare, hotel stays and other perks. They might be given out for stranded travelers who've missed connecting flights or as bonuses or for any number of reasons.

You can also use vouchers in fundraising efforts. Here are some popular promotional ideas:

1 Invite your customers to get really excited about your business so they will tell their friends by giving them a free vacation voucher, certificate, a coupon, etc. Offer these vouchers at fundraisers at local community events and let your customers know to notify you when their own businesses and places of employment host fundraisers, too, so that you can participate by contributing vouchers to them as well.

2. The kind of award or rewards you want to donate as vouchers for fundraisers should depend on your budget and what your business can afford. Less expensive travel vouchers might be in the form of offering food coupons, gift certificates, movie passes or clothing accessories and travel items like suitcases and watches. More expensive rewards ideas might be costume jewelry, short vacations, complimentary bed and breakfast gift certificates, long distance calling cards.

3. You could donate something travel-related to a fundraiser, like a carry-on suitcase on wheels. And then tuck a voucher inside the suitcase as a free bonus gift. Or if flyers are allowed at the fundraising event, mention on promotional flyers an offer to potential customers with a free voucher, coupon or travel gift certificate as a back end product or service, a bonus item for sales that close before a certain deadline. (This can also help to increase your chances for repeat purchases.)

So put on your thinking cap and come up with creative ways to incorporate travel vouchers in with fundraisers. You will not only be giving back, but sharing valuable resources with others, putting plenty of smiles on faces.
If you have a pretty good idea what you want your centerpieces to look like and you know how much you're willing to spend, the it's time to start scouting for supplies! Unless money is not an issue for you, you'll need to be getting the best bargains you can find. Don't expect to get everything during one shopping trip or even the first time you start looking. You've spent this long trying to find the perfect partner, don't rush into buying your centerpieces!

Here are some ways to find great prices for your centerpiece supplies...

- Consider the resources already available to you. Do you know anyone in the floral business that could provide flowers at a discount? Do you have any friends working at the local craft shop who get an employee discount? Do you know a business owner who can get you into wholesale decor stores? I think you get the idea... if you're looking for something more rustic those old mason jars sitting in your parents root cellar just might come in handy after all!

- Does the hall provide a caterer? If so, ask the caterer if they have any contacts where they normally shop for their catering supplies or if they know where the best prices are. We ended up getting classic glass bowls for $2 each from a shop recommended by our caterer that normally retail for $15, and our guests had no idea.

- Start checking the sale flyers early and collecting those coupons. Sooner or later almost everything goes on sale. If you start watching for sales well before your wedding date you should be able to get at least some of your supplies for less than retail price. Before purchasing anything on sale, make sure to ask about the store's return policy for discounted items. If you think you might change your mind about your centerpiece idea later you will want to have the option of returning the already purchased merchandise.

- Ask friends where they purchased their centerpieces. Often just-married couples know the best places to get things on sale! They've already been through it and have already done the leg-work you're just starting to do. Save some effort and benefit from their discoveries.

- You might be able to find some good prices online, just remember to check the seller's return policy in case you don't like what you get.

- Consider items that are cheaper during a certain time of the year, such as fresh flowers when they're in season.

Finding the cheapest supplies doesn't have to take a lot of time, possibly just a few minutes when the weekly sales flyers are delivered. These ideas may sound like a lot of work, but they aren't. You'll be in contact with most of the people we've suggested anyway, so why not ask a simple question about centerpieces? One final thing to remember is to have fun. Start early and you will save time and money while ending up with the centerpieces you want. <bio>Looking for great wedding reception decoration ideas ?
The money you spend on groceries is an area of your home budget that you can really save some money on. In our situation we are a family of four and our budget is $125.00 per week. I would not say we are pinching pennies, and by no means are we being extravagant. We also live in the Pacific Northwest. Prices do vary somewhat according to where you live.

There are many of you out there spending twice this amount. Even in our situation which many of you may find on the average or low side we could easily tighten our belts and lower this bill by 30%. Yes, 30%

For the amount we spend, a 30% savings amounts to $1950.00 a year. If you are spending twice the amount we are, that 30% savings can amount to a budget savings of almost $4000.00 a year. That is a nice chunk of change for that big screen TV, or to pay down your debt, or whatever other means you want to use it for.

Before we get into some details I want to add that a key element to managing and reducing any aspect of your budget is having the right attitude. Also, you need to have some discipline and be able to stick to your guns. Set goals that are attainable.

Six quick tips to save money on your food budget

* Buy the store brand. * Buy fruits and vegetables that are on sale. * Read the flyers that in the newspaper, clip coupons. * Shop more than one store. * Buy less prepared foods. * Go to the store after you have eaten. * Avoid impulse buying on quick trips. * Buy the store brand

Some folks are brand loyal. But, buying brand names can cost you a lot more money. The reality is that in a blind taste test most of us could not tell the difference between the store brand and the name brand. In some cases the only difference between the name brand and the store brand is the label they put on the can.

Read the flyers

In reading the Supermarket flyers there is one general theme I have noticed. Between two or three stores there are typically enough items on sale to make some substantial savings. It is typical that most of us do a andquot;big shopandquot; a week and then do 2-5 quick runs to the store during the week. Change this pattern. Instead, spend 10-15 minutes a week reading the flyers and planning your list to shop 2-3 stores. Most grocery stores are in the same general vicinity. Sure you might be adding about an hour to your shopping a week, but if that hour is worth saving a few thousand dollars on your food budget then it is well worth it!

Buying fresh fruits and vegetables on sale

We just spent .88 cents a pound for Fuji apples. They normally are $1.49 a pound. That's a pretty good savings. We just love Fuji's. We like a lot of other fruits and vegetables as well. My point here is that there is always going to be some fruits or vegetables that you like that are on sale. Buy what is on sale and you will save money.

Shop more than one store

Do this in conjunction with shopping the weekly flyers. Whether you do one big weekly shop at three stores or some other plan that works for you, a sure fire way to save money is to shop more than one store.

Buy less prepared foods

Most people buy prepared foods because they are convenient. They are also a lot more expensive. A bag of noodles, and a few cans of store brand cream of mushroom or chicken soup is a lot cheaper and goes a lot farther than a box of Hamburger Helper. And, it really does not take any more time to cook up you meal using the ingredients I named.

Shop on a full stomach

Nothing more really needs to be said about this.

So how do I pull all this off?

- Set a plan and stick to it

- Get the food money in cash for the week and put it in an envelope. This is your budget. When the money runs out you are done.

- Never (ever) go to the store without a list. Stick to the list!

- Treat yourself to an inpulse buy once or twice a month. Hold out money in your budget just for this. You will have something to look forward to.

Even with all of this good information some of you may be looking for a plan that is a bit more structured and disciplined. My spouse subscribes to a service called the andquot;Grocery Gameandquot; (http://www.thegrocerygame.com/) which is essentially a formalized approach to everything I have discussed. Click here for their website. It will cost you a few bucks to join, but is well worth it as they provide you with information on sales that you will not find in the flyers. Note: this service is not available in every area.

You will find more budget saving ideas at http://www.everydollarmatters.com/mainpage_budget.html

Happy shopping! <bio>Eric Matthews is the owner of the andquot;Every Dollar Mattersandquot; website which provides information and resources pertaining to your personal financial matters.
If you have a home based business that works through the Internet then you have probably wondered how to go about with offline promotion. If you have not done so it is because you are under the impression that a business runs over the Internet does not need to be promoted offline. This is a big misconception among most internet-based home business owners. If you are not satisfied with your profits despite of Internet marketing then it is time to you have some though to how to go about offline promotion.

Here are some very simple things you can do in order to promote your business offline. They are not complicated or expensive and they can really make a big difference to your market recognition and popularity.

Business Cards

You never thought and internet-based business would need printed business cards, did you? Always have a good supply of business cards on your person no matter where in world you are traveling. When you send out your bills, just tack on a business card. If you go to any place like the dentist or the restaurant then leave behind a card on the table in the waiting room or with the tip. Dispense them like free gifts and pretty soon people will know about you.

Letterheads

If you check inside your own head and while viewing adverts etc. you will discover that you associated logos with brands rather than the name of the company. Make sure you letterheads carry the logo and your website address prominently. Include this on the business cards, envelopes, letters, and any material that you mail out frequently or occasionally, reinforce the logo everywhere you can.

Flyers

You do not need to go to some fancy printer in order to make simple flyers. Design them on your computer so that they look good in black and white. Take a good quality printout and then get that Xeroxed at a cheap price. You can use colored flyers for special occasions (or have your logo as the only thing in color). Post these wherever you can, at groceries, malls, post offices, banks, and so on. Since you are saving on ink cost, try to pick bright colored paper on which the black and grey ink shades will really stand out. <bio>Ryan Ginster is the owner of http://www.onlinemoneyinf.info He makes his money with PlugInProfitSite, you can grab one at: http://www.instantmoneyonline.info </bio>

There are several ways to go about having some sort of sales conversions on your web site. It is not impossible.

With the use of a good copywriting agent and a terrific advertisement you can convert those visitors into actual customers. This all depends on the way you have your website set up. Is it easy to navigate through, are the products described in detail and is the checkout easy as it can possibly be?

If all the answers to those questions are yes, then your advertisement needs more key words to generate more traffic to your web site. With the use of the search engine optimization system this will help you out a great deal.

Also, dare to be different. Use different techniques than other web sites, what works for them might not be right for your products, therefore your sales conversions won't be as high. If you dare to be different, then you might just see an effective change in your sales conversion rate, because those visitors who are directed to your web site will potentially want to know more about your web site and what it has to offer.

Remember words mean everything on a web site. Pictures of products are good to have to, however if you provide a detailed description of the product you will see a difference.

Try not to compete with other web sites that offer the same products, simply be innovative and improvise, describing your products in a different exciting way.

Use key messages, and all the web site tools you can find, in order to make your web site the best it can be.

And by all means by using the search optimization system be sure to provide unique and several keywords that will generate traffic to your web site. For you realize these potential leads, could in fact be your sales conversion customers.

Be sure to target the audience that happens to your web site with things that will interest them. Don't use idle words and boring statements, or how much of a discount your products have. Instead, entice them and lure them in with a pattern of colorful wording that makes your web site, the one they will remember. The web site they may tell others about or return to themselves to purchase other products you might have on your web site.

Keep your web site current and up to date. Change it often to the point of where customers that are returning don't constantly see the same advertisement or text. However, don't change it so much that is confuses everyone and they will not stay at the web site very long.

Get personal with your web site, offering newsletters and flyers for those interested. Provide a way for them to leave their email address assuring them no one else will be given their information. This will cause more of your leads to be initially turned into sales conversions instead of just those that happen to browse around your web site for a period of time and leave. There is no profit for products that are not sold. <bio>Mario Churchill is a freelance author and has written over 200 articles on various subjects.
As a marketer I'm am frequently asked "How do I build my downline fast and with good people?" That is a question that many Network Marketers and Multi-level Marketers have and the biggest stumbling block to their success. There are several ways to build a downline, I will go through the following one by one.

1. Talk to every breathing person you come into contact with 2. Leave cards and flyers everywhere you go 3. Advertise in the newspaper 4. Buy Leads 5. Join the Funded Sponsoring Franchise

Talk To Every Person You Meet

Most people I talk to about their MLM or NWM business are trying to make a better life for themselves. Save time and spend it with their families. Now telling everyone you know about your business is great but, most don't care or they "hate MLMs" or "All of those programs are scams". Sound familiar? If I could save all the 3-5 minute conversations I had with people who don't care about my business opportunity I could go on a vacation with my family. Let's face it who likes telling the check out clerk at the grocery store about your business anyway? I know I don't like to talk to everybody and I'm sure you don't either.

Leave Cards and Flyers

This is another way to promote, but is it realistic? How many people have you added to your downline through leaving cards and flyers? It doesn't look professional to have a piece of paper up on a cork board at the gas station. Do you think you will find qualified leads this way? I don't. If I was going to look for a home business opportunity I wouldn't be looking at flyers.

Advertise In the Newspaper

This can be a very effective way to generate leads. The problem is that it is very expensive and you must get the people who call interested in your product or service and have a good phone script to make the close. This combined with another system I will talk about later can work very well.

Buying Leads

How many of you have bought leads before? Did you get a good response? Probably not. The information has been sold over and over and the prospects aren't interested. They went with another program, or they changed their phone numbers. It's hard to get really fresh leads this way and there's no guarantee that the "fresh" leads you bought are really "fresh". Who wants to be pounding the phones all day anyway? Remember you want more time with the family.

Join a Funded Sponsoring Franchise

This is a new type of home business/ sponsoring program. Basically what it does is bring qualified leads into your network (you get a sales page and an auto-responder instantly when you join) and makes them customers. Pay It Forward 4 Profits (PIF4P) gets money in your pocket from your leads before you ever show them your business. Isn't that great? It is a 3 step approach to home business.

It takes home business seekers and gives them a way to generate cash almost instantly with very little risk. Then the PIF4P gets the prospect making. First they join an affiliate program for pennies a day and start making money. Then it goes to the next step. They join the second affiliate company and make even more money, and then the third step is your business. They will probably need a primary business because they want to achieve financial freedom. If they don't who cares! You just made money off of the other two programs.

This system is 100% generic and can be used with any MLM or NWM business. You can duplicate this 100% and achieve success. You get marketing training, and a success guide that has easy to follow steps so even a complete newbie can figure this out and succeed.

To make it in the MLM world you need qualified prospects. To get qualified prospects you need Pay It Forward 4 Profits. Combine PIF4P with newspaper advertising and Internet Marketing and you will be unstoppable. <bio>Heidi Brandt is an Internet Marketer.
The following article provides a quick guide on what to think about when preparing your artwork for printing.

It is important you follow these guidlines as any errors made are likely to cause a delay or cause unncessary stress should the final print quality be sub-standard.

1. Check your files Check your artwork for spelling mistakes, grammar and ensure all images used are high resolution. Double check to make sure as any errors found will delay the turnaround of your product.

2. Bleed Bleed is the extra bit of the design page which you design on, as normal, with the knowledge that it will be trimmed off the finished flyer. Any images on your artwork should bleed off the page, and essential text should be away from the trim edge by a good few mm's. We use a 2mm bleed area on each edge.

3. Text Keep essential text away from the edge of the flyer, by about 8-10mm for best results.

4. Print Resolution Ensure your artworks resolution is at least 300dpi. The higher the resolution the better.

5. File Formats If you are using un-common fonts, ensure you supply your artwork as a flattened jpeg or tiff. This will ensure there will be no font problems when your artwork is checked. The most commonly accepted program formats are Quark, Illustrator, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Corel Paint, Freehand, InDesign and Paint Shop Pro. Vector files such as .eps and pdf's are becoming more common and ensure a better end product.

6. Colours Unless you have a calibrated monitor your artwork is likely to have slightly different colours when printed. Ensure your colour choices are correct before sending to print.

7. A Final Check Before sending to your printer, have one more final check that everything is as expected.

WARNING There are two things you should consider when designing your flyers:

Due to the quick turn around of our flyers, they are trimmed down not long after they are printed, in most circumstances we try to give a printed sheet 8 hours to dry completely, this isn't always the case. This is noticeable when one side of the flyer is left white, and the other side bleeds rich colour to the trim edge. This will cause slight powdering of the rich ink over, on to the white side. In this circumstance we recommend the use of borders.

Borders on the edge of a flyer, can sometimes give the flyer a classic look. But make sure the borders are a good few mm in from the trim edge, because of the way we print flyers (up to 32 at a time) and the speed at which we turn them round (from payment, to your door) these borders may not be an accurate trim to the exact 10th of a mm. This is why we ask for a 2mm bleed. The cutting blade could go either way. We cannot be held responsible for imperfect results if these borders are slightly uneven. <bio>Article by Business Cards, Leaflets And Flyers specialist Face Media Group http://www.facemediagroup.co.uk </bio>
