The wisdom of a preschooler may be just what you need to get unstuck! If you find yourself tangled in a problem that seems insurmountable, taking a playful, even ridiculous, look at the situation can give you the creative perspectives you need to move forward.

Watching my daughter the other night, I was amused to see her playing "computer" with my alarm clock. She was teaching her dolly to type on the alarm buttons and showing her the screen -- a big red LCD with the time. When I asked her what she was doing she replied, "Working." (Yikes!)

Her play got me thinking. I would never have thought that the alarm looked like a computer. My adult eyes categorize those familiar things -- alarm clock, laundry basket, shoe -- and I see what I expect. But with less experience of the world, my two year old sees computers and boats and bowls. What are we missing by relying on our adult "knowledge" of the world?

In the '70s computer scientists at Xerox PARC, one of the world's foremost research and development facilities, involved children in the design of computer systems. An RandD lab doesn't seem like the place for kids, but observing how children interacted with computers inspired the researches to design the overlapping windows and graphical interface we take for granted on today's PCs. Talk about the power of fresh perspectives!

Adding a little child's play to your thought processes may offer you the fresh perspectives you need to inspire your life or projects. Following is an exercise that will help you imagine the possibilities. Enjoy!

Dare to Be Ridiculous!

Are you feeling stuck? It may be that you are locked into a rigid, dare I say...adult, way of looking at your situation. Take a hint from the preschool set and let your imagination roam. This light hearted exercise will have you thinking big in no time.

Use physical movement and pay attention to the feelings in your body to help you shift your thinking. And whatever you do, don't forget the ridiculous!

• Stand in the center of the room, breath deeply a few times, and think about your dilemma or a decision you'd like to make.

• How do you feel about this right now? Are you feeling stuck? Anxious? If this feeling you are having were a place, what would it be? A hectic train station, for instance, with too many different tracks? Or a dry, hot, desert with no one else around? What is your unique place? Label this perspective by the place you have identified.

• Now, turn 90 degrees to the right and take in the first thing that catches your eye. Imagine what this thing you've noticed would tell you about your decision. For example, seeing a telephone on the wall might make you think that the only way through your "wall of indecision" is to communicate your intentions fully. How does that perspective feel? What kind of place is this?

• Turn 90 degrees again, repeating the exercise. You will do this two more times. At the end, you will have your starting perspective and three fresh views.

• Finally, when you are back to the starting position, close your eyes and think of the most RIDICULOUS thing you possibly can. It might be anything -- an ice cream cone, your dog, a trumpet -- any idea that comes immediately to mind will work. Ask yourself what that crazy thing would tell you about your decision, how it makes you feel and what kind of place it is.

Now you're armed with five different perspectives. Which felt the best or most energizing to you? Which perspective will you adopt to help you move forward? <bio>Laura Koehne, founder of THRIVE Against the Grain, coaches you to take the road less traveled with complete confidence.
Do you know of the headaches Levitra can cause? Headaches bring pain and discomfort to over 30 million Americans at any given time. That is one in every ten people in the USA. Since you are reading this article you are likely among these sufferers. What many headache sufferers don't understand is that they themselves are the cause of their own headache. That is, some aspect of their lifestyle is causing the headaches.

Most people when they get a headache typically reach for the medicine cabinet for one of the popular over the counter headache remedies, like acetaminophen or ibuprofen. This is a very reasonable and sound reaction if the headache is truly beyond their control. On the other hand, if the headache is being caused by the sufferer themselves, then it makes more sense that they identify the cause of the headache and then make a lifestyle change to stop the headaches. It's even ok if you know what is causing your headache but you still choose to take medication. But you should be aware of the cause and your decision to take medication should be informed with that information. Blindly taking headache medication without considering what might be causing them is not a healthy habit.

The side of effects of many medications can cause headaches. Are you aware of the headache Levitra can cause? Levitra is a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction, or ED, in men. It works by allowing more blood to flow through the veins of the penis allowing it to become erect. The only problem is medication like Levitra doesn't localize its effects to just that area of the body. Medications aren't that smart. So when you take Viagra or Levitra, they will have the same effect on your whole body, including the brain. The headache Levitra causes is the result of more blood flowing through the arteries in your brain.

The headache Levitra can cause don't occur in everyone who uses the medication. In fact, less than 20% of men who take Levitra report experiencing headaches. If you only get slight headaches from Levitra then maybe you needn't be too concerned. If however, the headache Levitra causes are unbearable enough that you want to take medication, and then I would strongly consider you talk with your doctor about a different treatment for your ED. Medication should always be a last resort when treating disease behind lifestyle changes. It certainly seems ridiculous to treat the side effects of one medication with another. So is the headache Levitra can cause really worth it?

Something else to consider is the cause of your ED. Take a closer look at your life. Perhaps something you are doing is causing your ED, in which case it would be quite ridiculous to take Levitra or Viagra for something you can treat with simple lifestyle changes. Instead of dealing with the headache Levitra can cause, find a different solution for you ED. <bio>Jonathan Higgins writes on various health issues including the causes and treatments of headaches.
It's adopt a pet day at your local pet store and you just can't resist running down there to see if there's any cute and adorable pet that you can get for your niece. When you get there however, you find the place is so crowded that you can barely stick a finger inside let alone get inside to find the right pet for your little niece. You stare in frustration at the teeming mass of mama's and papa's with their little boys and girls looking eagerly to adopt a pet of their own.

Who would have thought that so many people would be pet-less and want to adopt a pet on today of all days. Granted it was adopt a pet day but this is bordering on the positively ridiculous. There's a good chance that the pet store had never had so many customers in the few years since it had opened. Fits and starts of excited yapping intermingled with delighted little cries of joy were ringing through the air at regular intervals.

Two hours later and you can just about stick a finger in there. A little better but not by much, however you feel your hopes start to rise. You hadn't found anything else that might constitute as a suitable replacement to your adopt a pet idea, and if the crowds were thinning then there was a good chance that you would be able find the right pet for your niece.

You find a nice little bench in front of the pet store and sit down to bide your time. As you sit there you watch in growing amazement at the sheer number of people who had come down to the pet store today to adopt a pet. It's all well and good for the pets themselves but would there be any little pet left for you to adopt?

Finally you manage to wind your way through the length of the pet store and find yourself confronted by the cutest pair of eyes staring out at you from within its confinements. It's still a puppy certainly, and it is cute, but whether you could call it small was slightly beyond you. You wanted to adopt a pet but this might be ridiculous.

However you can't shake the sight of those beseeching eyes and find yourself with an armload of Saint Bernard, a bowl, leash, collar, and any other accoutrements that you deemed necessary to keep the wiggling little beast happy. Adopt a pet day at the pet store was a success, and your "adopt a pet" idea for your niece's birthday was also a great success. Now if only your sister thought so too when she caught sight of the overgrown puppy in your hands! <bio>Author's Sites: http://dogi-food-recipes.blogspot.com , http://cat-food-recipes.blogspot.com , http://www.easyhomeremedy.com/pet_care/natural_pet_care_index.html </bio>

Hollywood is known for its outrageous celebrities. They might have started out as actors or actresses, but there are some celebrities who become famous just for their appearance. For those who are in the spotlight, the pressure is on them to look as good as possible.

So, it comes as no surprise to people that there are some celebrities who really are obsessed with plastic surgery. When you think about plastic surgery in fact, you might even automatically equate it with the Hollywood lifestyle. While some celebrities look better for it, there are others who just look ridiculous.

Perhaps one of the most notable celebrities (if that's what you want to call her) who is obsessed with plastic surgery is Joan Rivers. The woman must be in her seventies now, and it's obvious she's tried to look like she's forever in her thirties. No, she doesn't look her true age, but she doesn't exactly look natural either. Specifically, her face is forever frozen in ghastly smile. No wonder she decided to make fun of the work she's had done.

The most drastic example of plastic surgery is the case of Jocelyn Wildenstein, a socialite. She started off looking quite attractive, but then decided to ruin all that by looking like a cat. So, she had her face restructured. Yes, now she looks quite feline, but she also looks quite ridiculous too.

Another celebrity who, though not obsessed with cosmetic work but still looks silly, is Kenny Rogers. He always taught us that "You gotta know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em". However, it's obvious that he didn't know his limits when he got a facelift and ended up looking too smooth. It can't be a good thing to look like you're perpetually surprised, can it? Luckily, he's said that he's going to have his face fixed again.

Of course, who could forget Cher? She doesn't look horrible, but she's definitely trying too hard to reclaim her youth. She's clearly had facial implants and face lifts to augment her already exotic features. Take a look at early Cher, and compare her to the present-day Cher. Didn't she look better before?

A case of cosmetic work that might or might not have happened is Sophia Loren. She's in her late sixties now, but she looks even better than she did when she was in her twenties! She says she credits her good genes for her youthful appearance. However, that doesn't stop people from thinking that she's had work done. Whether she has or she hasn't, she looks fabulous.

The key to good cosmetic work is to have it done, but to keep people guessing like Sophia Loren has. The best cosmetic results are the ones that look the most natural. You want to turn back the clock a decade at most -- not fifty years like some celebrities have attempted to do. So, if you're considering having a procedure done, you definitely should check out the surgeon's portfolio first. After all, you want to look better, not worse!<bio>More information on liposuction, male breast reduction and a plastic surgeon in your area is just a click away.</bio>

Many people have their own method to win at pick 3, but they never win. Some people even go into great lengths and spend thousands of dollars on software lotto, pick 3 lottery software, and even software millions. It is quite ridiculous. The first thing you should know about a winning Pick 3 Lotto System is that the number generator lottery and those other types of software's out there are all scams. They lead you on to believe those are the best numbers to pick for the day, when in all actuality they really are not.

Do yourself a favor and learn how to pick winning lotto numbers yourself. You do not need any fancy lottery prediction software, just an understanding of the numbers and how they work. If you have a understanding how to win the lotto using proven methods that work, you will see your chances of winning the pick 3 go from 1:1000 to 36/120 = 36%. There is hidden secrets and forumla's out there to win the pick 3, they are just very hard to find. The first thing you should understand about the pick 3 is, hands down it is the best lottery game to play. If you use no lotto system at all and want to pick your pick 3 numbers based on a birthday, favorite day, top of your head, etc... you have a 1:1000 chance of winning. If you want to win the lottery, you have a 1 out of 5 or 6 BILLIONTH of a chance. It is rather ridiculous and you are just wasting your money throwing it into these types of games. If you learn a great way to win at pick 3, you will be INVESTING your money and not throwing it away.

Let me give you an example, there are many ways out their through probable reasoning that will give you the BEST chance of winning the pick 3 lottery every single day! It is much better than coldly and blindly picking your 3 numbers. You can get it down to basically what many call UNMATCHED NUMBERS. Which are 1-2-3, 5-9-1, 8-6-4, etc.. no numbers in the drawing repeat. There are 120 combinations and they occur MOST frequently out of doubles, i.e. 3-3-4, 6-6-9, 7-2-2, etc.. and triples 1-1-1, 4-4-4, 9-9-9 etc... To even SEE a triple drawn it is on average 1 out of 100 games, let alone when it hits you have the correct triple set! Don't waste your time betting triples. Even doubles, they occur at an extremely low rate. You will basically see unmatched combinations 8 out of 10 drawings. This is what you need to stick with if you want to make playing the pick 3 lottery profitable.

All I can tell you is good luck; I have won thousands and thousands of dollars playing the pick 3 ONLY betting on unmatched numbers. On average I can easily make $1000 a week by studying the pick 3 for my states lottery. There are definitely numbers that occur more frequently than others!

Remember, be patient, be persistent, and overall be smart when playing the lottery! <bio>Chris Malcolm has created a proven system on how to win at pick 3. He has been successfully been winning the lottery for over 10 years.
During the 90s music companies feasted on profits generated from CD sales. Now, with music more popular than ever, music companies are crying the blues. Sales and profits are down.

What happened?

We all know what happened: digital music downloads.

But why did it happen=97the crying the blues part? Music companies desperately hung on to CDs while digital downloads did to the CD what CDs did to the cassette tape.

Those of you old enough to know music during the pre-CD era, when man shared the earth with such things as cassette tapes, you know why CDs were such a hit. CDs were a quantum leap in flexibility and convenience: skip around your album to avoid crappy songs or replay your favorites; 5-CD players; durability; heck, you could even create CDs with just your favorite songs. Sales of CDs quickly eclipsed music sold on all other formats. Then, in the next five years, CD sales doubled. Big numbers! Happy music company executives.

While everybody was congratulating themselves music companies forgot why the CD became so popular, so they couldn't recognize and adopt the next quantum leap in flexibility and convenience.

My point isn't to wag my finger at big music companies; it's to wag my finger at me and you. We all have products or ways we do things that have been successful for us, and we heavily rely on them, don't we? Those same things are too easy to hang on to too long.

The goal of this artile is to:

=95 Encourage you to focus not on the products or ways you do things themselves, but on why they've been successful.

=95 So you can move to the next product or way of doing something that shares the attributes that made your current product or way you do things successful.

Makes sense? Of course. But it's hard to actually do=97to adopt something new=97especially early. Music companies, as a example, are finally starting to embrace digital downloading in a serious way. But not until Apple took 22% of ALL music sales. It was easy to scoff at selling one song at a time via iTunes when it was new. Honestly, how did you react when you first heard about the idea? And all the sudden iTunes is the new 400 pound gorilla.

What new way of doing things, product or service does this mean for you? I don't know, but, you do. That's right, you know. It's that thing that's been rolling around in your head. That thing you've been hearing about. That thing that sounded ridiculous at first, but isn't so ridiculous the more you hear about it. Yeah, that thing.

Now, you don't have to do a swan dive into the next new thing. But put your toe in. Start to experiment. Starting today. Because it won't be too long until you'll have to do a swan dive just to keep up.

Not too good at swan dives? Neither am I. So, let's get started. . .and we can help! <bio>Hamilton Wallace is a small business marketing consultant in Scottsdale, Arizona.
"Dad, the ball just went into the dog doody again!" Isn't this ridiculous? Ridiculous that we have to worry about a domesticated animal that is owned by a human-being crapping on our property and not having it picked up!

We all know about "pooper scooper" laws- and how the majority of dog owners abide by them. However, we also know that the fines are small, and how the law is often inadequately enforced. For instance, in New York City in 2004 there were only 471 ticketed dog-waste violations! (Source: The N.Y. Times- 10/2/05)

When dog waste remains on our streets or sidewalks, rain water picks up harmful pathogens from the waste and delivers them into our waterways. This water pollution leads to risk of infection and viruses, unsafe drinking water, beach closings and unhealthy boating and fishing. (Source: Hemp- stead Harbor Protection Committee). DNA sampling of all licensed dogs has been proposed in Austria (Source: MSNBC.com- 5/23/05). But we all know that this problem will likely continue to persist worldwide.

The answer for people who have had enough? The only reasonable solution is the posting of a lawn sign that will deter dog walkers from letting their pooches defecate on your property, or at a minimum, at least guilt them into picking up after their dog.

The key however is what kind of lawn sign. What will the sign say, and how psychologically these words will make the dog walker who may be dog-duty delinquent feel? How they feel, will no doubt impact upon their actions or lack thereof.

The lawn sign must not be insulting or disparaging, or it quite possibly can have opposite of the intended effect. A sign that may strike a chord psychologically with the dog walker is what will be most effective.

For example;

• What if the signs' text was tied to children- and the innocence of youth? Most dog walkers either have, or have had kids, so certainly this may resonate well with them. Thus the sign may read "Kids @ Play, Please Keep Poop Away".

• Or how about a sign containing a subtle dig, conveying that your lawn is important to you?- One that gently let's the potential culprit know that you take care of your lawn and that you care about your property, such as "Thanks, But We've Already Fertilized".

• Who doesn't remember the slogan "Keep America Beautiful"? In these patriotic times, a sign that reads "Keep America Beautiful, Please Curb Your Dog!" is certainly sure to make most offenders think twice before committing an irresponsible and inconsiderate act.

• For those that the only deterrent may be the fear of getting caught in the act, the sign "Area Patrolled By CrapCam" plants a seed of doubt that maybe someone is watching them. <bio>Marc Silverstein and his partners Randy and Michelle Shain know all about crap- specifically dog crap. For years, they've had to clean it off of their front lawns. They then researched this problem and came to discover not only its' scope, but its' seriousness. They decided to do something about it- thus the creation of Cutthecrap.com. http://www.Cutthecrap.com </bio>

It is absolutely pathetic and down-right criminal for MLM / Network Marketing companies to promote education for new reps and associates that just doesn't work. They know it doesn't work, we know it doesn't work, so why do they keep teaching us to do the same old stuff.

Do you realize that all these gazillions of companies teach organizational growth in the same ridiculous manner? If you're with one of the original MLM companies, the old dinosaurs like Avon and Quixtar, that have been around for decades are just getting started with a brand new company, the techniques taught by the company are almost identical. There may be a few little differences here and there but it's pretty much all the same.

So why do companies continue to train new associates with these pathetic, unproductive techniques? The answer is simple. Because it works!

But wait a minute, you're saying to yourself. Didn't you just tell me that this stuff doesn't work?

Well, yes and yes. The old-school techniques we all know and hate really do work but not for you and me. They work fantastic for the companies themselves. Trust me. If the companies did not profit from teaching reps in this manner do you really think they would continue these ridiculous business practices?

Our companies are not getting rich on the 2-3% that are the top earners. Even though they receive enormous paychecks, overrides, bonuses, free trips and all the other great stuff that comes with this industry, they are not what keep the company going. It is the other 98% that are trying to "get to the top" that keep the company so profitable.

Think about this for a minute. What is the first thing you are told to do as a brand new rep, regardless of what company you are with... Write your list of 100 Names. Even if only a handful of people on that list become reps or just product users, think about the vast numbers if every single person that signs up is doing that. And then, let's say on average, only 10 out of those 100 people become product users and only 2 build a business around the products... what do they all do? They make their list of 100 and so on and so on and so on. I think you get the picture now.

Here's the issue. We all know that only very small percentage of reps, around 2%, succeed to the top-pay levels of all network marketing companies. This isn't because most you are lazy or an idiot. I know I did what they all told me to do and none of it worked. You are not successful yet because home-business training and education is of pathetically low-quality. I believe, 100% without doubt that if home-business personnel received the training and education they needed and deserved, that 98% failure rate would flip to a 98% success rate.

But I can assure you that it will never happen because they control the market, not people like you and me. But what you can control is how you run your business. No one on this earth can tell you what to do because it's your business, right? Isn't that what they are always preaching? Well, now you can become successful just like me and it really is up to you as to how long it takes.

Look for upcoming articles that will dispel the myths and lies of marketing at home with any MLM or Network Marketing company.<bio>For more information about how to grow your network marketing business, refer to my websites http://nomorebsmarketing.com and http://add-more-reps.com or http://NoMoreBSmarketing.com I, Jane Ellen accept full responsibility for this content.
Do you trust your feelings and take action for yourself based on your feelings? Many of us grew up learning to mistrust our feelings. "Don't be ridiculous," my mother often said to me when I asked her why she was angry. "I'm not angry," she would say with anger in her voice. "Don't be ridiculous" was what I often heard in response to many of my feelings. So I learned to mistrust my feelings. It took me many years of inner work to regain trust in my feelings.

Feelings are information. Our feelings such as anger, anxiety, depression, and hurt are letting us know that we are telling ourselves something that is not true, or treating ourselves in unloving ways. Our uncomfortable or lonely feelings around another person may be telling us that the other person is being judgmental, needy, angry, blaming or inauthentic.

For example, Sally consulted with me because she often found herself repulsed by her husband's sexual advances. She was confused because she loved Tim very much, and there were times when she was sexually attracted to him. But most of the time she was turned off to him.

"Sally, when Tim approaches you for sex, what is his energy like?"

"Most of the time, I feel like he is pulling on me and demanding something from me. It doesn't feel loving, it feels needy. But when I say something about it to him, he tells me that it us my issue -- that he loves me and just wants to express his love. I get so confused."

Sally has a hard time trusting her feelings because her mother was constantly invalidating her feelings as she was growing up. She has the same problem with a neighbor:

"It seems to me that Chelsea is often subtly judging my daughter in front of her, yet when I've said something to her she makes me feel like it's my issue."

"Sally, if you decided to trust and honor your feelings, what would you do differently with Tim and Chelsea?"

"Humm...well, I think I would stop being so tentative and stop judging myself and be firm with them."

"So what would you say to Tim when he is needy with you?"

"I would say, 'Tim, I love you and I am turned on to you when you come to me with your love, but not when you come to me with this empty needy energy.'"

"What would you say to Chelsea?"

"I would say, 'Chelsea, it is not okay to judge my daughter. If you keep doing this, I will not spend time with you.'"

"And what would you say or do if they tried to make it your issue?"

"I think I would say, 'This doesn't feel good,' and then walk away.

"How would you feel if you did this?"

"I would feel great!"

Andrew has a similar issue with his wife Susan. Andrew often feels Susan is being what he calls "not real." "There is something about her that is often inauthentic -- like she is being a certain way to get approval from me and from others. I feel smothered by it and I shut down. Then she complains about my withdrawal and about my not wanting to have sex with her. But when I try to explain it to her, she gets angry and defensive and tells me that I have a problem with intimacy."

"Andrew, you are not trusting and honoring your feelings, which does create a problem with intimacy because you withdraw rather than speak your truth. If you were to totally trust your feelings when Susan is being inauthentic and pulling for approval, you would speak your truth instead of withdraw. Susan doesn't know when she is being inauthentic. She is just confused by your withdrawal. If you learn to trust your feelings and honor them by telling your truth, you will likely see much improvement in your relationship."

Andrew was surprised to learn that Susan actually appreciated hearing his truth, and their relationship is gradually improving. <bio>Margaret Paul, Ph.D., best-selling author of eight books, including "Do I Have To Give Up Me To Be Loved By You" and co-creator of the powerful Inner Bonding healing process.
Read this article. Let me start off with a request -- no, a demand for you to continue reading this short article. It's a five minute read, and no more trouble than reading any of the millions of articles available on the internet. But the difference is that this article could mean the difference between having a little more cash in the bank, to having so much that you wouldn't know what to do with it. This article reveals the best affiliate internet marketing tip you'll ever get.

Now, I'm sure you have read all sorts of articles that encourage you to know your product intimately, not take unnecessary risks or even establish a relationship with the consumer to effectively influence a purchasing decision. They are very important, but they are what I would call the first tier tenets to a successful internet marketer. Knowing these areas well would definitely make or break someone who does internet marketing.

I'm talking about the second tier tenet, more applicable to those already within the affiliate marketing circles, struggling every day, working hard and earning a good income. Why not make a spectacular income? Why not sit back everyday and watch your PayPal account grow into enormity? Unlock the door to that room, make the hours you put in logging work double or even triple for you.

Now that I have got you a little more excited, allow me to share with you how I have been making a ridiculous amount of money online. I call it ridiculous because it is far greater than any of the previous 9-5 jobs that I have been in. The secret is in HOW you get volumes of people, volumes of traffic to come towards you. Your whole job is to place a giant funnel in the digital ocean and direct as much as possible towards you. The secret is in the method that you choose.

But you say your current methods are working pretty well. Good! So why stop there? A long time ago someone looked at me as I was explaining to him about how great affiliate marketing was, and how a lot of the methods are of little cost or even no cost -- and this friend of mine frowned, and said

"Why aren't you using them all?"

Well I was going to retort to a man who has never made a digital dollar in his entire life when I stopped midway. I asked myself the same question. Why am I not using all these methods? There are HUNDREDS of ways to get your message and product known on the internet -- blogs, ezines, websites, online stores, discussion groups, forums and so many more. And they have different permutations, different existence for varying markets. Leverage on the internet and its FULL potential power to reach millions of people. Why not have 30 -- 40 working marketing mechanisms driving traffic to your websites? Higher volumes -- higher chance of purchase -- higher profits.

So I did, and I have never looked back since.

Funny how I received the best affiliate internet marketing tip from someone who has never made a single digital dollar in his life.<bio> Click Here to get Free Tips on how to make a good online income with the Best Affiliate Programs.
Paid surveys, we've all heard of them from one way or another; whether it's an annoying pop-up or an email claiming you can make a few hundred dollars an hour just by filling out surveys they have an undeniable presence in the internet today.

Unfortunately however, because of these ridiculous claims made by spam emails and pop-up's most people instantly assume it's a scam. Like the old saying goes; "If it Sounds too Good to be True... It Probably is," the same applies hear in the paid survey industry -- I can tell you now you CAN'T make $100/hour filling out paid surveys, and they WILL NOT make you filthy rich. But there are some legitimate paid survey companies out there; but they are tangled under a nest of scam sites. These sites are entirely free to join, but will not pay you ridiculous sums of money.

Legitimate market research companies typically pay $0.25 - $6 per survey completed (these surveys typically take 5 -- 30 minutes to complete), and although they won't make you rich, if you are willing to put in the time each day it's surprising how this money begin to stack up. Generally people who take paid surveys are making around $100 - $200 a month (spending 15 -- 30 minutes a day) which isn't bad for the amount of time it takes them.

So if you're considering joining a Paid Survey Panel make sure you do your research about the site first to make sure it's legitimate, and remember: NEVER pay a fee to join a Panel -- they should be paying you, not the other way round. All sites claiming "Make $100/hour, just pay our simple one-off signup fee," are scams. I would suggest you do some you do a few searches on Google and try to find some payment proof and independent customer reviews.

When looking for a paid survey sites that really pays you need to take a lot of different factors into account: the first thing to note is your country of residence; nowadays most Paid Survey Companies are very picky towards this, and although some sites allow international members if you are not from USA, UK, Canada or Australia you won't be getting many surveys to complete (but don't worry -- there are a few exceptions).

The next thing to note is what the surveys will be about; sometimes it is better to join a panel that has interesting surveys even if they pay a little less, because spending 30 minutes a day on repetitious surveys can get very tedious, hence try to find a panel with a great range of survey topics to keep you on your feet, or one that specializes in a topic that genuinely interests you.

There isn't a lot more to learn about taking online surveys, but at first a lot of people are a bit confused as to how Survey Sites can afford to pay you, when in reality the whole concept on is actually very simple: large corporations are always looking for ways to improve their products and design a product that a consumers actually want, hence these corporations are willing to spend money towards getting the consumer's opinions, and they do this by paying a premium to market research companies (paid survey sites) who construct surveys to obtain this information. And in order to get people to fill out these surveys they pay some of this money onto us; the consumer. It's really a slick deal for everyone involved.

Overall although Paid Surveys won't make you enough to live off, they are an excellent way to earn a little extra cash in your spare time, just be wary of the vast number of scam sites out there. So just do a little research, and it really won't be hard to find a well paying Survey Panel that is perfect for you!<bio>Since there are so many scam Paid Survey Panels out there, you may want to check out Paid Survey Reviews first, with quality independent reviews of the Best Paid Surveys from around the web.</bio>

Are you so serious about working at home that you would pay money to prove it? If you answer yes to that question, you are a prime target for scammers because this is one tactic they love to use. They may word it differently on various websites and advertisements, but the main point they want to get across is that by sending them your money, you will be "proving" how serious you are about working for them.

Nothing could be more ridiculous. Have you ever seen a legitimate company do something like this? Imagine applying for a job at any established company, and as you are handing your application to the receptionist, she says, "Thank you, Mr. Smith. In order to prove you are really serious about working for us, we will need to charge you a $19.95 application processing fee. Will that be cash or credit card?" Ridiculous, right?

Yet, that same intelligent, hard-working Mr. Smith would think nothing of sending his money to an obscure Paypal account if the owner claims to have work at home jobs available. It's just one more example of how scammers prey on your desperation to work at home. They know you are eagerly searching for a way to earn an income from home, and they know that you'll do anything to make that happen.

The good news is that this tactic makes the scammers incredibly transparent and easy to avoid. By asking for your money, they are "proving" that they do not have anything to offer you, because legitimate companies will not charge you any money to work for them.

So, how do you prove you're serious about working for a company that does offer legitimate work at home? It's a little more complex than whipping out the credit card. Here are three ways to make telecommuting employers sit up and take notice:

1) Make sure your resume and cover letter are in top form. If you're not confident about your ability to write your own resume and cover letter, definitely pay a professional to do them for you. A good cover letter can be all it takes to grab the attention of a hiring manager, while a targeted resume can accurately portray your skills and experience, which will result in getting that coveted interview.

2) Apply for jobs you are truly qualified for. While it may be tempting to apply for any home-based job you come across, your application will carry more weight if you focus on jobs that complement your experience and qualifications. Avoid applying for jobs that you are grossly overqualified or underqualified for, or jobs that have nothing to do with the experience you have. If an advertisement specifies that no experience is necessary, you can certainly apply, but be sure to mention in your cover letter why you feel you would be the best one for the job. Highlight any experience you do have that would help you to excel in this job.

3) Portray yourself as a true professional in every way. From the moment you begin composing your application, it is imperative to demonstrate why you would be an asset to the company. Give special attention to your application and review it several times to be sure there are no errors. Learn as much as you can about the proper way to apply for jobs, interview strategies, and professional etiquette. It may seem like a lot of effort, but it is time well-spent! The attention you put into the process will reveal a lot about you, and make you stand out from the other applicants who may be more careless.

See how easy that is?
How can you have a super successful Internet Home Business and make the kind of money on the Internet that will replace your 9 - 5 job and give you the opportunities and choices you've only dreamed of? Here are some steps you simply must take.

Firstly you must have a reason strong enough to propel you towards your goal.

Determine what it is that drives you towards making a change. What are the things that you lack? What do you wish to achieve? Why is the Idea of building your own Online Home Business appealing to you? Think about the answers to these questions and write them down. Visualizing your goals daily will keep you focused on what it is you want to achieve and keep you moving in the right direction. When you have a compelling dream and the belief that you can achieve it then anything is possible.

Personally, my WHY was a number of things. I had spent my whole life watching my parent's work hard for little reward. They retired with very little and had not really achieved their dreams. I realized that I was doing exactly what my parents had done and my children were now watching my example and would likely do the same. Working in excess of 70 hours a week wasn't getting me ahead in life, nor was it getting me out of debt. It was taking valuable time away from the people and things that I loved.

I was tired of being broke and exhausted and wanted to find a way to work smarter, not harder. I needed to make some changes.

Secondly, Believe it's possible to be successful, that you deserve more and that you have what it takes to become successful at making money Online as a Home Business Operator. If you don't believe that you can achieve unbelievable success working from home, then you won't, it's that simple.

For me, I spent hundreds of hours researching for answers to my predicament. What I soon discovered was that there were many people that were already making ridiculous amounts of Money Online and had developed their own successful Home Businesses. There was absolutely no doubt many others who had been in my situation had done it and if they could then why not me. I simply needed to find others who had been successful making Money Online and do what they were doing.

I didn't want to spend my life slaving away for a boss or working ridiculous hours for little reward when I could start my own business for a small outlay and work the hours I wanted on my computer, from home. Believe me, building your own profitable business with affiliate marketing is life changing and very possible.

Thirdly, You need to make the decision to do it and make the leap.

Nothing is ever achieved by standing still. You need to take the first step forward and follow that one with the next, and so on. Worrying about whether or not you have the skills or are ready to start an Online Business will get you no where, you simply need to start and have the persistence and belief to see it through. The longer you put off starting your business, the longer you waste precious time that could be spent learning the new skills necessary to become a successful Home Business Operator and Affiliate Marketer.

Starting your own Home Business will require your dedication, determination and persistence, a little money, some research and the willingness to learn new skills. After all nothing worth having comes to us for free. The Rewards resulting from your efforts will be enormous and well worth the effort. The changes you can make in your life because of the freedom you now have to make choices, can be extraordinary.

If you're not currently living your life the way you want, then make the decision to change it. Only you can do that. Take a look at what I did to change my life, you can do it too. <bio>William Stone is owner of http://TurnProfitsOnline.com and writes on a variety of subjects.
Since every literate person can write, most people think they can be writers. Interestingly enough, we all can speak quite well, but few of us would deem ourselves `speakers.' However, this prevalent belief encourages beginners to say the oddest things that make professional writers want to cringe (or preferably strangle them with a thin wire). If you find yourself saying the following, please stop:

1. "I can write a book in a weekend." I'm certain you can mutilate a couple hundred pages with words; however, that doesn't mean that anyone will want to read them. Yes, I know there are prolific writers who can write a book in two weeks (Voltaire supposedly wrote Candide in three days). Usually they are professionals who have mastered a style and understand the craft of writing. Have you?

2. "I can write those `trashy' books and make tons of money." Bwahaha! I love this one.

Many new writers see a 200-page romance or mystery and scoff. These things are so easy, they tell themselves. I can write this in a day. I doubt it, but maybe you can. If you do, will anyone pay you to read it? That is the difference. Those who sell in these genres usually have a passion for the craft that translates onto the page. Hate romance? Think mysteries are ridiculous? Believe sci-fi is for loonies? Then don't write it, editors and especially readers can tell.

3. "If this crap gets published, I bet I could get a contract in six months." Define crap. One man's trash is another man's treasure. Don't be arrogant and think the world should concede to your every taste (that's what critics are for). Every writer is not meant for every reader. Just because you don't like a book doesn't mean it's not good. It's just not good for you. I don't like okra; however, that doesn't mean I need to start an anti-okra campaign. Diversity is what makes life interesting.

Okay, okay you're not talking about taste. You're talking about horrible, poorly written books. Yes, I know there are some truly bad books out there. Here's the hard truth. Some bad books (poor grammar, poor structure and poor execution of a plot simpler than a fairy tale) get published. I have plenty of dents in my wall from an effective toss. However, these books are probably `placement' books to fill a hole in a publishing list. Usually, these books sink and their authors are rarely heard from again.

Unfortunately, the existence of these books convinces people that getting their book published should be a breeze. Sure, and every person with a dream to sing will become the next International Idol. Is it fair? No. Do they care? No.

4. "I can write better than that." If you can, shut up and write. Nobody wants to hear about it. It's as annoying as listening to someone explain what they would do if they ruled the world=97well you don't. Next!

5. "I'd write, if I had more time." You'll never get more time; steal it. That's what the rest of us do.

6. "I have the perfect book already written in my head." Sure, and I have the secrets to the universe taped to the bottom of my shoe. People who say this remind me of the naked emperor walking down the street trying to convince his kingdom that he's clothed. You're fooling no one except yourself and you look ridiculous.

Writing is work. Writers make it look effortless because that's our job (imagine the disappointment you would feel seeing a dancer straining to leap off the ground).

I encourage anyone with a desire and passion to write fiction to do so. Write with meaning; write with truth and skill. Write because you must, not as a path to riches and stardom. It may come; it may not.

The real writers (beginner and pro) don't talk about it; they do it. Be one of those. <bio>Dara Girard is an award-winning author of romance and nonfiction who provides support and information for beginning and experienced writers, to help them keep going when things get tough, or when nothing seems to be happening.
When it comes to negotiating your best deal on the car you've got your eye on, first and foremost you have to do your research and homework on all the various parts of putting a car deal together.

At a high level, this is all the pricing, rebate, and dealer incentive numbers you can find on your perspective car. You've lined up your financing so you know what you qualify for, how much you qualify for, how long you can finance, and what your monthly payments will be based on a few different financing scenarios. And (if applicable) you know the actual cash value, and retail value of your trade-in.

If you don't have a firm grasp on the aforementioned, proceed no further (don't show up at a dealership) until you do.

But if you have, and you feel confident, let's talk a bit further about negotiating.

Rule number one when it comes to negotiating and car deals.

Never -- negotiate from the MSRP down... You'll never get to the price you want.

Always negotiate from invoice price or dealer cost up.

Since you've done your homework, go to the dealership with your opening offer in mind. Be confident in yourself and the fact that although you certainly aren't going to offer sticker price, your number will be fair and not ridiculous. If you offer up something totally ridiculous for the selling price from the dealer, you've wasted your time and haven't really opened the negotiating process because your offer won't even be viewed as serious. Keep your offer within the 'win-win' window.

When you know your numbers and you come across as confident (because you are) the sales people and the others at the dealership will be aware of this and will spend less time trying to 'work' you.

Give yourself room to eventually feel good. By this I mean, don't table your first offer with the price you have in mind that you are willing to pay. Think about it for a moment; by definition there is going to be some negotiating going on here, so you certainly don't want to begin at the price you want to be and simply hold firm. This may sound easy but this is truly a point where many miss the mark. Many people feel uncomfortable about starting below their target price, but it is an absolute must when it comes to successfully coming close to or hitting your pricing goal.

If the salesperson or the dealership is the first to offer up a number to get things going, rather than you countering with an actual dollar amount simply let the salesperson know that his number simple not within your budget and they need to come back with a better offer. By doing this, your goal is to get an even better opening price without tipping your hand.

Remember, a dealership is always going to take a couple shots at maximizing the deal for their side first.

Keep in mind that negotiating is just that... negotiating. It isn't a one-way street where you get everything you want and the dealership simply acquiesces. There is plenty of give and take and it may not (actually hardly ever is) limited to just the price of the car. In other words, if you feel like you have to come up a bit off your offer or counter offer, see if you can get some return value for your effort such as some complimentary maintenance, even floor mats or something.

When you do this it keeps the negotiation alive and lets the dealer know that you are serious about putting together that 'win-win' deal that works for both parties.

Stay open minded during the process and treat the entire car buying process as a negotiation package. There are numerous avenues that you can probe for negotiation during the car buying process. It's not just the price. However, don't agree on the price and then start trying to negotiate other items. Once you've said yes to the price, you lose your leverage. Remember it's the entire package.

Finally, always keep in mind that without you... there is no deal for the dealer. If you reach an impasse... if you have to... walk. Don't rationalize giving in against your better judgment because you really want the car, or that you've spent the better part of your day at the dealership. Remember the dealer and the salesperson have their time invested as well and don't want the deal to fall through either. Be patient, keep the negotiation communication lines open and chances are you'll be rewarded with a new car at a price you feel good about paying. <bio>Jeff Neilan's car dealer experience offers insightful http://www.acarbuyersguide.com that save you time and money.
Thank God for Hoover vacuum cleaner parts. I don't know if you've been shopping for a new vacuum cleaner recently, but it seems to me as though the cost of a good vacuum cleaner is ridiculous! Some brands can run upwards of $1,500, which is just entirely too much to spend on a machine that I try to use as infrequently as possible. The fact that you can finance a vacuum cleaner and pay for it over the course of a couple of years is asinine to me.

After having my Hoover vacuum cleaner for what seemed like an eternity, the poor thing finally gave out. It was a hand me down model that was given to me from my aunt, and it lasted me all through college and well into my twenties. Hoovie, as I affectionately called him, always did the trick and didn't seem to spazz out too much when he sucked up bobby pins, thumb tacks and spare change. When the vacuum suddenly stopped working and I started looking into buying a new one, I knew I had to try to revive old Hoovie. I just couldn't afford to pay for a new one, so I took him to a vacuum cleaner repair shop. They fixed him up just as good as the day he came off of the assembly line, using genuine Hoover vacuum cleaner parts.

Ever since the vacuum cleaner repair shop replaced some old fixtures with Hoover vacuum cleaner parts, my vacuum has been as good as new. While vacuuming has never been fun for me, it isn't the arduous chore that it once was. I still try to vacuum as little as humanly possible, but that has nothing to do with the vacuum at all. I just really hate cleaning. <bio>To read Hoover vacuum cleaner reviews, visit the Vacuum Cleaners Forum at http://www.VacuumCleanerForum.com/ today.
Once upon time, you may have worn your mother's favorite apron while arranging miniature tea sets on a tiny table, serving imaginary tea and scones to your favorite doll. Or you may have been in command of your action figures, leading them to the battlefield in the center of your living room.

The character you were playing when you were young - a chef in a play kitchen or a general in the Stars Wars of your imagination =96 are still perhaps being played by many children nowadays. Pretend play is such a source of joy that even with the advent of so many modern games, this old-fashioned imaginative play never loses its appeal.

Promoting Pretend Play

Because of the many benefits it can give, children should be encouraged to engage in pretend play. But never impose the idea or it will lose its appeal. Here are some scenarios for starting a pretend play:

- If you see your little girl constantly dressing up her doll, ask her where her dolly is off to and maybe it's better for little dolly to have something to eat in the play kitchen before taking off.

- When your little boy is playing with his action figures, comment on how the little ones need the guidance of a teacher or the care of a doctor.

- If your child pretends to be a wild animal ready to pounce on you, go along with it. You can act scared at first and then pretend to tame him by giving imaginary food and petting him on the head.

As children warm up to the idea of role playing, whoever's babysitting would usually be assigned a role. It may seem ridiculous for a grown up like you to assist in a play kitchen or act as the customer in a lemonade stand the size of your arm. But the benefits it can bring to your child won't make it so ridiculous anymore.

Benefits of Pretend Play

Social and Emotional Development - Children can become whoever they want to be in pretend play. Because of this, they are able to get a very basic view of how it's like to be a doctor with his toy hospital or how it's like to be a chef with her play kitchen. As kids act out the part of somebody else, empathy is planted. When children realize they can be any character they want to be, their self-confidence could grow. And with this comes the desire and strength to explore new things.

Mental Development - Even if it's just child's play, there are also many problem-solving situations that children encounter during role playing. It may be a concern on what material should best replace a lost play kitchen spoon or who among the action figures to pick as the second in command. The process of looking for solutions to obstacles develops the analytical skills of your child. It also promotes resourcefulness, creativity, abstract thinking and logical reasoning.

Communication - Whether children are playing with their parents, playmates, dolls or imaginary friends, they will always engage in conversation. A child starts to learn the importance of communication, especially when he or she mimics grown-up talk and actions. When children pretend to read to their dolls or write down grocery lists, they may be motivated to start learning how to read and write.

So encourage your child to pretend play. You can start off by presenting a play kitchen or a doctor's kit. Remember, the skills that your child learns here are the skills that matter in real life. <bio>Encourage your children to engage in pretend play with a play kitchen (http://www.ronjuneshop.com/kidstoys-pretendplay.html) or toy piano (http://www.ronjuneshop.com/childrenstoypiano.html)!
Well here is the answer: ABSOLUTELY! Why would these industries be any different than all the others out there? I learned some time ago that marketers are amongst the highest paid professionals in the entire world. And I'm not referring to making a little bit of extra spending money here and there. I'm talking about changing the entire dynamics of your life and your family's life for generations to come! That is exactly why I refused to give up in the industry (aside from my stubbornness). There was no way I was going to give up on something that would change my legacy. My kids and their kids will be building upon what I'm doing right now. My family already knows my mission statement. And they also know that I didn't do all this research and work so hard for nothing. I expect them to keep things going some day. So if they can be taught, you can be taught also.

Here's a biggie. Can you build a successful empire using the traditional marketing techniques taught by uplines everywhere?

ABSOLUTELY NOT! It's ironic that what we refer to as traditional marketing in our industries is considered ridiculous and downright idiotic in any other industry. Marketing in the manner your upline tells you to just does not work for the masses. i don't need to convince you of that otherwise you wouldn't be reading this article. If you're like me, you always looked at those few successes in your company and kept telling yourself, "If they can do it, I can certainly do it". And although the rah-rah stage may be packed with those who made it to the top, are you aware that all those people up there only represent about 2% of everyone who has signed up for the company and is working their tails off to make this thing work. And many, many of those people are relatives and friends of upper management in the company. Another group entails those that buy their way into success. They are already so filthy rich that just by holding a few small events, these individuals rise to the top in a matter of months. Well most of us don't have those kind of resources available to us. That's why we're doing this in the first place. Just realize this: Most of the people you see rising to the top of a particular company did not get their by holding little coffee shop meetings or mid-size hotel meetings. They didn't do all the ridiculous things that they are asking the rest of us to do. So give yourself a break and don't beat yourself up too bad for not rising to the top in 6 weeks while still trying to figure out how to pay for your initial order and sign up costs.

So remember, what works in traditional brick and mortar businesses works in home-based businesses of all sorts. It really doesn't matter what you call it:

-- Home Based Businesses
-- Network Marketing
-- Multi-Level Marketing
-- Direct Sales

It really doesn't matter what you call it because it's all basically the same thing. The compensation plans may differ, the pay percentage may differ but here's the thing. It doesn't matter if you're selling widgets or whatchamcallits, marketing is marketing. Take it from the Big Guns, Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki. Do you think they were joking when they said if they had to do it all over again they would get involved in Network Marketing? They were either telling the truth or someone paid them off and I highly doubt the latter. I don't think The Donald needs the money.

I, Jane Ellen, accept full responsibility for the content of this article.
Dogs are definitely man's best friend. It is very easy to see this today, because of the fabulous lives they lead. Who would not want to lie around all day, get scratched behind the ears, and eat all of the good food that humans get to eat on a daily basis? Not only do they get all of these wonderful things, but they also do not have to go to work, cook dinner, or clean the house. I would give anything to be a dog. If this was not bad enough, while visiting the mall I saw that dogs have quite a few accessories available to make their lives even better.

The only accessory that a dog had when I was growing up was a collar, if they were lucky. These collars were nothing fancy, usually just a piece of leather with a buckle on it to allow you to adjust it as the dog grew larger. Now I see collars in every shape, size, and color, and with all different kinds of decorations on them. I have seen collars with the dog's name on them, collars with gemstones on them, and even collars that will play a song when the dog scratches them. These collars are ridiculous, but they are not even the most outrageous extravagance that has been created for dogs lately.

Now a dog has the luxury of sleeping in a nice and soft bed. When I was a child our dog slept on our cold, hard tile, and she liked it just fine. Our dog now has a big fluffy denim bed that is more comfortable than the bed I sleep on. Dogs also have many different types of clothes for them to wear. My dog wears a sweater and actually has a jacket that she wears in the winter so she does not get cold. Whatever happened to dogs growing their winter coat so that they would not get cold? The warm clothes are bad enough, but now dogs have dresses, Halloween costumes, and even feather boas. What is this world coming to? I am not sure, but as long as my wife and others like her are shopping for dog accessories, I am sure that manufacturers will not stop making them! Now if I could just get her to buy ME such nice luxuries... <bio>Visit http://www.hotdiggidydog.co.uk and treat your pet like royalty with our selection of dog collars, dog beds, dog clothes, cat beds and more! </bio>

John Harricharan: We should ask and by asking -- there are different ways of asking. One is just getting yourselves out of the way, feeling how you'd feel of the thing you wanted to have happen happened and let it come to you, instead of chasing after it. I think we were designed to be creatures of joy, creatures to give, creatures of love. And we have gotten a bit lost along the way because we have been hypnotized into believing that we are just clod that we've got to struggle and so forth.

Do you look at the little acorn in the ground if there is a struggle to become mighty oak tree, does it say? I'm going to become a mighty oak tree. Oh my gosh how am I going to do that and it tries to figure how to do that. All it has to do is allow itself to be that because it's its nature to do it so. What we're putting here together is, what I think we would call a very special membership site. Where anyone at anytime could go for guidance, for comfort. I am sure, you will also have a member of board there, won't you Vish? Where members=85

A. Vishwanath: Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. There would be membership and forum -- membership and forums.

John Harricharan: Yes. Where members could communicate with each other, where they could exchange ideas. Right?

A. Vishwanath: Yeah.

John Harricharan: Yeah. And=85

A. Vishwanath: Yeah. In fact I'm going to -- that will be addressed in later, you know, questions. So yeah, that's a very important part, and yeah that would there.

John Harricharan: Yeah. Well, any way, let me just take your questions. Go ahead Vish.

A. Vishwanath: Yeah. Thanks, John, you know thank you very much. And I do remember, you know, that you keep seeing all this, you know all of the crap going on the internet and self-help and you know many sites on spiritual and obviously you know people who know you, and you really did not want to go out.

And so actually my next question is that many people have actually have been misguided as to the real truth, because you know, everywhere there is, as you see whether it's internet marketing or anything that are you know so much -- gives really and you said it was just like you know the other day you were speaking on the interview John. So you know how is like -- I mean -- you gave me that they wanted the example of differentiating self-help and spirituality and how actually self-help is at a certain level and spirituality is it one of this.

So if you could bring that comparison again, so that people can clearly see the difference, so that and what I want you to do is if you can, John, list out, let's say three short-term benefits, which people will get and three long-term benefit though I know that as they progress, you know, it will be a couple of zeros more and it would be, you know sort of 300 or something. But two things, you know, differentiations in self-help and spirituality and three short-term and long-term benefits if they can immediately apply to their real lives.

John Harricharan: Self-help, Vish, and self-development are parts of the spirituality quadrant or the spirituality equation. To really, really become spiritual, many people run around they're trying to find something here and find something there, whereas they've already been that. You're a spiritual as you could ever be. Self-help is just a small segment that tries to add things to one's character or problem one's self -- self-development is the same thing and I am not saying those things aren't good, they are fantastic.

It's like -- it'd be ridiculous for me to say self-help and self-development aren't great things. You know it just as it would be ridiculous for me to say one could become an expert writer without knowing the alphabet. It's a stepping-stone, it really is. And it's good, but it's limiting, it just stops at a certain point where the human personality and the human mind cannot conceive or think of greater things. I have herd people talk about, well; you have to say this mantra over and over again. And I think that's a good thing to a certain degree.

I have herd people say you've got to think positively, and yes that's a good thing to a certain degree to accept when it gets to the point where you say, "I am going to be positive even if it kills me." I have herd people say that love is the greatest power and so I'm going to love everybody even if it kills me. You see what is happening there, we're having the negative and positive.

The good and the not so good, all blended together when people and their self-help searches tend to go for all kinds of approaches. They think that the gurus and the teachers and the people who write these books are the ones who are going to save them from their problems. Well, maybe you don't need to save yourself from your problems. Maybe you just need to let the solutions in the problems come to you and grow into true spirituality, which becomes very ordinary.

People think that those who are spiritual are able to walk on water. Yes, they can do that too. But I bet most of you have never seen anybody do that. Although I have to admit that I have seen it happened and even tried it once or twice myself. However, what good is it to study to walk on water? And I've written about such things. What good is it to think that spirituality is -- has something to do with levitation?

Spiritually, yes, it could do all of that. Doesn't electricity have a lot to do with your television or your microwave or your computer? Yeah, but you don't focus on electricity. When you sit in front of your computer, you don't say, "Oh dear electricity, now I will pray to you that you make this computer work." It is the nature of electricity to do what it is doing. It is the nature of the human being to be spiritual.

So one doesn't have to run here and run there and say, look there's a new guru. Here's a new teaching. There's a new website. Here is this man who says you will get everything you want because there is a law called the law of attraction. There is another one who says there is a law called the law of gratitude. Follow that and you will be fine. And another one who will say there is one called the law of giving. Ah, this is the one you have to do.

It reminds me of the story, Vish, I told you the poem about the three blind men and the elephant.

A. Vishwanath: Yeah, yeah. <bio>Lecturer, entrepreneur and Fortune 500 business consultant, Vish Writer is the author of the Amazon No 1 bestseller, "The Joy of Becoming God" For more information, visit: http://www.spiritual-simplicity.com http://www.vish-writer.com </bio>
