Are you trying to sell puppies to a good home? Whether you breed dogs or your beloved pet managed to get free from her pen and find herself pregnant, selling puppies can sometimes be a difficult task. After all, there are many puppies available that are looking for a good home, so finding someone that is willing to purchase your puppies may be harder than you think. Of course, if your puppies are particularly adorable or are purebred, finding a buyer for your puppies may be much simpler. Nonetheless, if you hope to find a buyer quickly, it is best to use pictures to sell puppies with your ads.

Using Pictures to Sell Puppies Quickly

If you are ready to sell puppies, you likely don't want to keep the little cuties any longer than necessary. After all, taking care of a whole litter of puppies is time consuming and can be quite difficult. In addition, when you sell puppies to a new owner, you want to let the new owner get the puppies as close to 8 weeks as possible. This way, the new owner can start to bond right away with his or her puppy and form a strong and healthy relationship.

When you use pictures to sell puppies with your ads, you can expedite the selling process. This is because potential buyers will be able to see exactly what your puppy looks like, which will help the buyers determine if your puppy is what they are looking for. In reality, many buyers won't even bother with calling about puppies from ads without pictures. After all, since there are so many ads to choose from, there really is no reason to inquire into those puppies without pictures unless they are of a particularly rare breed. So, if you wish to sell your puppies quickly, it is a good idea to include pictures in your ads.

Choosing the Right Pictures

When choosing the pictures you will use in your ads, it is important to be certain to use pictures of the puppies you have for sale rather than puppies from another litter. If your picture is of a different puppy or puppies, the potential buyer may be disappointed when he or she sees the actually puppies that are for sale. As a result, you will have wasted your time as well as the time of the potential buyer.

It is also a good idea to make certain no people or other animals are in the photograph. The puppy or puppies for sale should take center stage in the photo, which means they should be all that potential buyers see in the ad. Having humans or other animals in the ad will only serve as a distraction.

You should also choose pictures that are crisp and clear so the potential buyer can get a good idea of what the puppies look like. Blurry pictures are harsh on the eyes and may actually be worse than having no picture at all. So, choose the picture carefully in order to increase your chances of selling those cute little puppies to good homes as quickly as possible.<bio>CS Swarens is the president of Find a Pet Online. 800 998-7065 For additional information on dogs, cats, birds, horses, and exotic pets visit the internet's pet resource including pet classifieds at http://www.findapetonline.com.
You've seen an ad for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rottweiler+puppies+for+sale" rel="tag">Rottweiler puppies for sale and you've decided a Rottweiler would be a great addition to your family. Respond to the ad and ask them a few questions. When it comes to Rottweiler puppies for sale, you don't want to buy them from just anyone. Imagine getting attached to some new puppies you just brought home only to out they're not going to last long because of a defect you should have known about. So make sure you prepare a list of questions for the person who left the ad. You'll want to know if the ad is for a breeder, a pet store or a private seller whose pet had puppies. The questions you'll want to ask refer to the lineage the puppies come from, any diseases or defects the parents might have had, whether or not the puppies have their shots and whether or not they have any health certifications.

If a pet shop left the ad for Rottweiler puppies for sale, be careful. Pet shops often sell animals that aren't very healthy. Sometimes, breeders will give pet stores the pets that they themselves cannot sell. This also goes if the Rottweiler puppies for sale are from a non breeder, you'll want to know what kind of lineage the Rottweiler puppies came from. Were the parents certified? Were they healthy? Did they or do they have any kind of disease that you should know about? These are all important questions. When you get your Rottweiler puppies home, you'll want to know they'll be a part of your family for a long time.

You want them to be healthy and you don't want them to die prematurely because of some defect you should have known about before you paid money for them. That's why it's so important that you ask questions regarding the parents, the breeder or person's experience in handling Rottweiler puppies, and other information regarding the puppies' health.

Make sure you get your Rottweiler puppies to the vet to get their proper shots before you bring them home. When you see an ad for Rottweiler puppies for sale, you'll want to know that the Rottweiler puppies have had their proper inoculations. And if they haven't, you need to be sure to get them. Puppies at that age are very susceptible to certain diseases and infections. Some of them can get sick from mingling with other dogs at a pet store or breeder's shop, and some can get sick from other pets if it's a private person selling their pet's puppies.

If you have other pets at home, you want to make sure you get your Rottweiler puppies to the vet immediately to ensure they stay healthy. You'll want to know your puppies will live long and healthy lives and you can ensure that by taking them to a licensed veterinarian immediately before you bring them home to meet the rest of your family. <bio>Sharon Davies has been a dog breeder for more than two decades and is often in demand as a consultant to other breeders.
Labrador Retriever puppies for adoption are often purebred, and every bit as wonderful, loving, and energetic as a puppy you would buy. Why go to a pet store or breeder when you can find Labrador Retriever puppies for adoption? Often free!

Places such as "Labrador Retriever Rescue and Adoption" have pure and mixed-breed Labrador Retriever puppies. When we went looking online briefly, we found Labrador Retriever puppies for adoption that were 9 weeks old and 12 weeks old.

In a "Yahoo Pets" classified ad, we saw 10 beautiful little Labrador Retriever puppies for adoption in Colorado. The Hoobly classified website had 3 Labrador Retriever puppies for adoption in Idaho.

Labrador Retriever puppies for adoption are also available at Humane Society and independent animal shelters.

Who Would Adopt Labrador Retriever Puppies

You might adopt Labrador Retriever puppies if:

1. your budget does not allow an investment of $400 to $1500 for a puppy 2. you have compassion on unwanted puppies

Many people have big, caring hearts. They know the Labrador Retriever puppies at the breeder, with their fancy papers, will find homes. Life is not as certain for rescue puppies. They have been given up for adoption because the owners would not or could not care for more dogs.

Disadvantages of Labrador Retriever Puppies for Adoption

Labrador Retriever puppies that have been given up for adoption may have hidden problems. You will not know about the temperament of the parents. Nor will you know whether either parent has health problems that will be inherited by the puppies. If you find Labrador Retriever puppies in an animal shelter, chances are good that the staff knows little about them.

Labrador Retriever puppies in a shelter often lack bonding opportunities. People come and people go, but no one has time to teach the puppy how to get along with human companions.

You risk getting a puppy that has learned to bark loudly for attention =96 in a room of loudly barking dogs. Labrador Retriever puppies from shelters will take more than a few days of adjustment to un-learn some bad habits.

Some of these disadvantages are overcome if you get Labrador Retriever puppies through a rescue network. Most networks place their adoptive puppies in foster homes. This avoids many of the animal shelter problems.

Some rescue networks are also able to find out more about the puppies' background. The foster "parents" can evaluate the puppies' temperaments and health. They can begin basic training and socialize the puppies. They can make sure the puppies get a good start in life while they wait for their permanent homes.

Advantages of Labrador Retriever Puppies for Adoption

The advantages of getting Labrador Retriever puppies that are available for adoption may outweigh the disadvantages for you =96 especially if you can get the puppies through a rescue network.

1. You are giving a good home to Labrador Retriever puppies that might otherwise not have one.

2. You are gaining loving, faithful companions, who will do anything to please you, as long as you teach them what that is.

3. You are paying only a small adoption fee (or getting them free). Yet your Labrador Retriever puppies will be every bit as loving as those costing hundreds of dollars.

Helpful Tip

You can find Labrador Retriever puppies for adoption on the Internet. Simply type the phrase "Labrador Retriever rescue" into your search engine. Locally, watch newspaper classified ads or visit your animal shelter. <bio>=A92007, Anna Hart.
They are cute, cuddly and have all of the love in the world to give. But in return, they expect the same from you. If you plan to buy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/puppies" rel="tag">puppies, then you are in for a treat and a workout all at the same time. These little furballs are full of energy and cannot wait to unleash it on you, but there is nothing better than a wag of the tail when you walk in the door.

People buy puppies for different reasons, including companionship or to raise them for breeding. There are a number of locations to buy puppies, including animal shelters or directly from breeders. If you buy puppies from an animal shelter, you are literally saving a life. If you are planning to spend money for your new pup, there are some important considerations to think about before adopting the newest addition to your family.

The first thing to consider if you plan to buy puppies is their demeanor. If you want a companion, some types of dogs are more ideal than others and this is especially true if you have young children in the home. A gentle dog is the best kind for children or the elderly. Even though almost every kind of puppy is rowdy, certain ones will grow up to be gentler than others. It's a good idea to read up on the various breeds from the American Kennel Club so that you will know what kind of puppy you want and which will best fit your lifestyle.

Now, do you have the space for a puppy? In the beginning, nothing is puppy-proof and you have to be ready for anything. Because they have a lot of energy, puppies love to play and they will need a lot of space to enjoy. If you plan to keep your new pup inside, be sure that you have a yard that is large enough for him/her to run and play in during the day or, at least, to go for several walks in.

The next thing to consider when you buy puppies is whether or not you have the time to take care of them. Puppies require a lot of work and, if you are keeping them inside, possibly a lot of repairs to your home or furniture. You will have to train your puppy, which takes time, and also make sure that he/she has plenty of fresh, clean water and is fed on a regular schedule. Puppies need to be fed several times each day and, like babies, it's best if they are on a schedule. Don't forget bath-time because a puppy that plays hard will need a good scrubbing. The good news is that if you start giving them a bath early when you buy puppies, they will be better behaved and become more adapt to the process as they get older. You probably do not want to be trying to teach an 80lb. Labrador Retriever that a bath is normal. <bio>To get more facts about buy puppies, check out our website at http://www.puppy-guide.info for lots of free buy puppies information and reviews. </bio>

When looking for Siberian Husky puppies for sale, it is vital that you think about the pros and cons that could be involved in making your purchase from certain locations. Many people find themselves on the Internet browsing through the different Siberian Husky puppies for sale, but this should be done with great care. Even in pet stores, when looking for Siberian Husky puppies for sale, you never will truly know what their history is.

With all of the different Siberian Husky puppies for sale that are popping up everywhere, it is no wonder that it can be confusing and maybe even a little frustrating as to where and what you should do. The best thing that you can do for not only yourself, but for your future puppy, is to do as much research as possible and ask a lot of questions.

To make sure that you are not being scammed in any way, it is important to go into the situation with some already existing knowledge about the breed. This is important in making sure that the breeder is on the up and up. It can be scary but with patience and time, you can find the right breeder to make your purchase from. Remember, your dog is going to hopefully be around for a long time so this is not a decision you want to make lightly.

If looking to the Internet to find Siberian Husky puppies for sale there are several factors that you need to consider. The fact of the matter is that for every good breeder that is on the Internet, there are probably ten more who are looking to scam you. It is very possible that you are not being given all of the information you need in order to make an informed decision.

When looking at breeders who are too far away for you to travel to them, you really are not aware of what their current living situation is. You have no way of telling whether or not they are truly being taken care of. While the Internet is full of a lot of options that you may not have in your local area right at the moment, it may be vital to wait until there is a breeder with pups available in your area so you can go view them for yourself.

When looking for Siberian Husky puppies for sale, you may end up finding yourself looking through the glass widows at your local pet shop. And while they may have a lot of cute puppies for sale, they generally do not carry a lot of Husky puppies throughout the year. But if you find one, you may be considering yourself lucky. Make sure you get to play with the puppy before purchasing it and see how it interacts with you.

Even though you are able to see the puppy in person, just like the Internet you still do not really have a great idea about the puppy's past or where and how it grew up. If the puppy was abused, you may have no signs of it until it is already in your home and it is too late. Purchasing a puppy from a pet store can be a great thing if you move ahead with caution. <bio>Andrew Preston has spent years researching the best ways to go about finding Siberian Husky puppies for sale and has discovered the things you should avoid. http://www.siberianhuskyguide.com/Siberian_Husky_Puppies/index.php Siberian Husky puppies are among the cutest of the puppies available but more then cuteness needs to be considered when looking at puppies for sale. http://www.siberianhuskyguide.com/Siberian_Husky_Puppies/Siberian_Husky_Pup= py_Care.php Siberian Husky puppy care is extremely important to consider when looking at all of the different puppies for sale on the Internet and other places. </bio>

While many of us have heard of large dogs needing to be rescued we may not realize that this fact holds true for puppies as well. The different breeds of puppies may look adorable to us when we first see them but some owners abandon these little cuties once the novelty of having a pet wears off. This is where puppy rescue steps in.

Here the various breeds of puppies are found from the various places that they have been left in. These places can be large cardboard boxes, garbage bags, puppies left on the sides of the roads, in puppy mills and other types of places. Once the puppy rescue centers are informed about the different types of puppies who need a place to stay, they move into action.

The puppy is found and carefully brought into the rescue center. At the rescue center while the puppy's trust is being gained the center's vet will examine the puppy. All of the wounds that are found on the puppies will be treated and any parasites that are on the puppies' body or inside of the puppy will be destroyed with the medication that is given by the vet.

Once this medical examination has been completed the puppy rescue team will see that the puppy is carefully washed and cleaned so that the puppy is not frightened or hurt. When the grooming process is finished the puppy will be placed in a cozy kennel. This is where the puppy will live until the puppy rescue centers find good families to place these puppies with.

Before the puppy rescue will allow potential owners to take their pets' home these owners will need to fill out forms stating that they are willing to give these puppies a loving home and the care that is required. To make sure that there is no problems for the puppies or their potential owners the puppy rescue will have a trial period where the puppy is taken home by the adoptee parent.

Once the adoption is considered to be a success, the adoption papers are filled out and the puppy is taken to its new home. With a family who is willing to care for these puppies the puppy rescue can be sure that this puppy will have a good life.

Puppy rescue centers have been developed to make sure that puppies have a safe and loving environment. The work that puppy rescue teams perform saves many puppies from being euthanized.
Labrador puppies, especially little black ones, have become very popular in the U.S. Breeders, pet stores, animal shelters, and humane societies are good places to get Labrador puppies. If you do not need an AKC registered puppy, you might consider giving a loving home to one of those in a shelter.

Cost of Labrador Puppies

If you decide to get Labrador puppies from a breeder or pet store, be prepared to pay $400 or more for each puppy. Show quality Labrador puppies may cost as much as $1,000 each.

That is, of course, only the beginning of expenses involved in raising Labrador puppies. There are accessories!

Labrador Puppy Accessories

Labrador puppy accessories can cost a great deal or they can be minimal. You should determine your budget and actual needs before visiting the pet store to avoid buying unnecessary accessories for your Labrador puppies. The list below is meant only as examples of Labrador puppy accessories you may want.

1. Collars: Labrador puppies need collars, but be aware of two things. Labrador puppies outgrow collars rapidly. You should not use a chain collar on a young puppy, as it could damage his windpipe. Choose flat fabric or leather collars until your Labrador puppies are at least 5 months old.

2. Leashes: You should train your Labrador puppies to walk on the leash, even if they have plenty of space to run in safety. There will be times, such as visits to the veterinarian's office when you will be glad they are accustomed to the leash. Unlike the collars, leashes for Labrador puppies should be chain so the puppies will not chew them.

3. Crates: It is a good idea to have crates for your Labrador puppies before you bring them home. Crates become the puppies' dens. If you are away from home during the day, you can leave your Labrador puppies in their crates to keep them safe, comfortable, and relaxed. Since they will be relaxes, they will not need to relieve themselves as often. The crate will be sure they do not use an inappropriate spot when they do relieve themselves. At night, Labrador puppies in crates sleep better =96 and stay out of mischief. Select crates that provide just enough space for a full-grown Labrador to stretch out when lying down.

4. Bowls: You can spend a lot of money on fancy bowls for your Labrador puppies, but it really is not necessary. Plain steel bowls are sturdy, unbreakable, and can be cleaned well. If you use plastic containers, Labrador puppies will chew them, possibly ingesting pieces of plastic. Some feed and water bowls are said to be spill proof. This is a good idea when you have energetic Labrador puppies.

5. Toys: Resist buying chew toys simply because they are cute to humans. Your Labrador puppies will chew aggressively. They can easily destroy plastic pet toys and, if no one is there to watch carefully, could choke on small pieces. Give your Labrador puppies sturdy Kongs and Nylabones to chew.

6. Playpen: Since Labrador puppies will try to eat anything they find, it is a good idea to provide a playpen while they are young and learning. This is especially recommended if the puppies are to be outside unattended for any period of time.

7. Brush: Until your Labrador puppies are older, and begin to shed more, use a bristle brush for weekly grooming. The brush will remove dirt from the puppies' coats and keep them smelling good.

Puppy Food

Food cannot really be classed among Labrador Puppy Accessories, but it is one more cost to anticipate when buying Labrador puppies. Ask the breeder or pet store clerk what food is best. If you know what the puppies are accustomed to eating, you may want to use that kind at first until they are comfortable in their new home.

There are many other accessories available for Labrador puppies, and if your budget will stretch you may want to consider some of them, but these should get you started. <bio>=A92007, Anna Hart.
When looking at different German Shepherd puppies for purchase or an adoption, it is important to try and weed out any puppies that may pose a problem to your house or family if they have been exposed to neglect or abuse. While bringing an abused dog into your home may not always have a negative outcome and even though all puppies need love, if you have a family or any small children at home, even a small risk of something going wrong because of abuse is better left avoided. There are many signs to look for when looking over a puppy, which can give you an idea of its overall personality. You want a puppy that will fit in perfectly with your family and the type of lifestyle that you have. By taking these small little extra steps, you are making sure that bringing home that puppy will not be a decision that you will regret any time in the near future.

When looking at German Shepherd puppies for sale, you need to make sure that the decision you make is one that is made only after a lot of consideration. To avoid any regrets down the road, it is best to think about your decision before acting on it, meaning you don't want to jump too soon. When looking at puppies that came from a breeder, it is important to take a good look at their surroundings and try to see it through the eyes of the puppy. Consider and think about if this is a place that seems to have been a good place for this puppy the last couple of weeks. Try and see if there is any sign of mistreatment or neglect as bringing home a puppy that was abused can cause a lot of heartache for you and the puppy. Make sure that your puppy is able to physically do things that other puppies of that age can do. Make sure that they can hear and see well and that they are not showing any signs of fear. Puppies that young should not be fearful of anything yet, as fear is a taught response.

Although you don't get to pick your family, you do get to pick your puppy. And when looking at a litter of German Shepherd puppies it is important to make sure that you already have a good understanding of the type of puppy that would fit well into your home and lifestyle. If you are wanting a dog that is more independent, then a puppy who clings to you may not be the best option as puppies behavior is often a good indication of how they will act once they are full grown. Take your time and really look at their individual personalities to make sure that you are making the right choice. Look over everything from how the puppy acts with you and with other animals as you want a puppy that is comfortable meeting new people and you never know when you want to bring another new pet into the home. <bio>Jan Ryan strives to share the love, passion, and concern for German Shepherd puppies.
If you want to save your orphaned Shih Tzu puppies you must be totally dedicated to them on a 24-hour-a-day, 7-day-a-week basis for the first few weeks of life. Raising orphaned Shih Tzu puppies is the most challenging and taxing task any Shih Tzu breeder could undertake. Success is gratifying.

Maintain the Shih Tzu puppies in an incubator environment with a temperature of at least 90 degrees Fahrenheit to start out. Reduce the temperature to 85 degrees after three or four successful days and you see the Shih Tzu puppies are stable. Slowly decline the temperature by small increments. After a week the temperature can be slowly declined to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Maintain this temperature until the Shih Tzu puppies are three to four weeks of age. After four weeks the temperature may be reduced to 75 degrees.

Orphaned Shih Tzu puppies are prime candidates for failure-to-thrive syndrome. Under normal conditions, the Shih Tzu puppy is bumped and shoved instinctively with littermates. These natural instincts insure that the Shih Tzu puppies use their body, pushing toward the dam for nursing, pushing in rivalry against littermates. The dam vigorously washes her offspring, cleaning the Shih Tzu puppies and bringing about elimination. This tactile stimulation is crucial to the development of a strong healthy puppy.

You must effect stimulation by gentle periodic stroking with one or two fingers, awakening the Shih Tzu puppies directly prior to feeding. During feeding periods it is necessary to snuggle the Shih Tzu puppies to simulate the same type of nurturing the dam would have provided. You become a surrogate dam to orphaned Shih Tzu puppies.

Shih Tzu puppies are born with sealed eyes. The Shih Tzu puppy is unable to hear at birth. You as the surrogate dam will need to artificially stimulate the orphaned Shih Tzu puppy to defecate and urinate. You can do this easily by using a cotton swab dipped in baby oil. Gently swab the genitalia and anus area until the Shih Tzu puppy urinates and defecates. The surrogate dam must stimulate Shih Tzu puppies to elimination on the same regular basis as feeding intervals. The orphaned Shih Tzu puppy must be stimulated to urinate and defecate at each feeding interval until able to independently perform these functions.

Consult with your vet as to which puppy milk formula you should use, and the type of feeding method.

This article is FREE to publish with resource box. <bio>Connie Limon is a Shih Tzu breeder.
Getting a new puppy is so much fun, and Rottweiler puppies are so adorable, you'll be tempted to choose the first puppy you pick up at your breeder's. Resist that impulse, and take a measured approach to selecting your Rottweiler puppy. After all, getting a dog is a big commitment. Rottweilers live to be more than ten years old, so you are making a ten-year commitment when you pick out a new puppy.

When you look at Rottweiler puppies, you want to make sure you select the right dog for you. You want healthy Rottweiler puppies, and you want dogs that will socialize easily and respond to training. You'll want to buy your Rottweiler puppy directly from a breeder instead of from a pet shop so you can see the Rottweiler puppies' parents on site to get an idea of how big the puppies will be when they are adults.

When you look at the Rottweiler puppies, ask the breeder whether the puppies' parents have OFA certifications. The OFA is the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals. The OFA exists to reduce the incidence of orthopedic and other genetic diseases in animals, particularly in purebred dogs. Rottweiler puppies cannot be Orthopedic Foundation for Animals certified until they are at least two years old, but preliminary examinations can be done when the puppies are four months old. If both parents are certified, the chances are good that a puppy will also pass the certification.

Diseases to check for include: Elbow dysplasia, because the Rottweiler is ranked second on the list of one hundred breeds most likely to suffer from elbow dysplasia; cardiac problems and hip dysplasia, because the Rottweiler is ranked number thirty on the list of breeds most likely to have cardiac disease or hip dysplasia; Rottweiler puppies are ranked fifty-fifth most likely to have patellar luxation, so the risk is relatively low.

Once you have taken precautions to help ensure that the Rottweiler puppies have parents that are both healthy and Orthopedic Foundation for Animals certified and have pleasing temperaments, watch the litter one by one to see what each puppy is like.

Rottweilers are bred to have consistent characteristics one generation after another. One reason people like to get purebred dogs so much is because they know what to expect with a purebred dog. If you have a strong preference for a male over a female, or female over male, that will help make your choice of Rottweiler puppies even easier. One puppy in the litter may be more timid, shy, or aggressive than the others, and it's up to you to decide what kind of dog's personality suits you. Visit the litter a few times before you decide what puppy you want. Remember, this is a big decision. Watch the Rottweiler puppies playing with each other, and look for an alert puppy that gets along well with its brothers and sisters.

When you choose a Rottweiler puppy, be sure to get a health guarantee from the breeder. Take the Rottweiler puppy to a veterinarian for a wellness examination as soon as you can. <bio>Sharon Davies is a Rottweiler breeder whose dogs are all OFA certified.
Training puppies isn't easy and it's important that all potential owners know this before they make a big mistake. There are million of new puppy owners every year but few are ever prepared for the amount of responsibility owning a puppy requires. And to help those new owners out, this article will reveal some helpful tips to determine whether or not they are ready for the responsibilities of training a puppy.

The first thing a potential new owner must consider is whether or not they have the time. Owning a puppy is as close to having a child as it gets. They act the same way and have the same tendencies. They both need to be fed and need to be watched while they eat. They both need to cleaned up after accidents. They both need to be constantly watched to avoid any bad situations. And there are no puppy training tips that can prepare new owners for the time commitment.

The second thing a potential new owner needs to consider is to whether they have the patience. Puppies will continuously test an owner's patience. That's because they don't understand commands. You tell them no, and they have no idea what that means. And training puppies to learn these commands is not easy. Not only that, puppies have tons of energy and will do things that will annoy owners constantly. And after a while, they may have the urge to quit, but that isn't an option. This is a living, breathing animal that has feelings just like a human. Training puppies takes a lot of patience and new owners need to be able to determine whether they can stay patient.

The third thing a potential new owner needs to consider is to whether they have the money. Although they aren't nearly as expensive as new born babies, puppies still cost a lot of money. Training tools, vet visits, toys, food, and many other items will cost quite a bit of money. The more commitment you have to training a puppy, the more money it will cost. And before a potential owner can even consider finding puppy training tips, they need to determine whether the costs will be too much.

The final thing a potential new owner needs to aware of is why they want to get a puppy. So many people want puppies because they are cute or because they love to play with them, but that isn't a good enough reason to become an owner. Do people try to have kids because of the same reasons? Of course not. Before an owner can start thinking about training puppies, they must know why they feel a puppy is needed in their lives. And if it's a reason that will get owners through the tough times, then they are ready to become a new owner.

Although there are many other factors prior to even considering owning a puppy, the three factors above are generally what determines if they will become an owner. Training a puppy is not an easy task and if you are a potential owner, make sure you can pass the three factors above. Make sure you understand that owning a puppy isn't simple and isn't something that can be made easier with puppy training tips. A puppy is a living being and not something that can be thrown away. So take your time to make sure that you are ready for training puppies.<bio>As a new owner of a puppy, I have begun to learn what it takes to be a responsible owner.
While most people feel that just picking a cute puppy is the hardest part when looking at Beagle puppies for sale, they are sadly mistaken. There is so much to learn about any breed of dog and it is best to do that before your purchase instead of after. Know what to watch out for and understanding what you can expect or not expect from your puppy as he or she grows into an adult dog.

It is vital to educate yourself on Beagle puppy care and to make sure that you know how and where to find safe places to purchase your puppy from. You never want to go in without knowledge as you are likely to make a bad choice and will not be able to catch clues that the breeder has not done everything they should be doing in regards to housing the puppies. It is often said that knowledge is power and that has never been truer then now.

After knowing all there is to know about Beagle puppy care it is now time to look for a puppy. Knowing where to go is vital as they are many different directions you can take. There are the pet shops where you may find one or two Beagle puppies for sale and then there are the "puppy mill" breeders who will have dozens and dozens of puppies available for purchase. Neither of these may be the best option for you.

Puppy mills are well known for the lack of care or concern for their animals as they only care about the bottom line, which is profit. Puppies that come from such places often end up with physical or emotional issues that may be hard on your family's heart and bank account. And pet shops do not generally know a lot about where they puppy originally came from but they are often well cared for once in the shop. So you may actually want to check your local paper for small time breeder who may have more knowledge and love for these puppies then the other options.

While it is a business for some, it is important that when you are trying to find a Beagle puppy to purchase, that you are dealing only with those who love the breed and have a wealth of knowledge to share with others. This is a good indication that the puppies have been treated properly and that you will have a better chance at a long and happy life with your new puppy.

Start talking with other Beagle owners and through word of mouth advertising, you can often learn a lot about where to go and where not to go when looking for Beagle puppies for sale. And if the environment doesn't feel right, it is best to keep looking. There are many breeders around if you look hard enough. The last thing you want is to bring home a puppy you know nothing about and they end up having problems because of abuse from the breeder. <bio>Finding places that have Beagle puppies for sell is one of the most important steps in bringing a new puppy into your home. Michelle Adams aims to make the reader aware of signs that should be paid attention to when looking for that right one.
When it comes to choosing a pet dog, people always seem to have a liking for husky puppies. This is mainly due to the fact that they are by nature very active, and that they are not aggressive at all. The husky puppy is an ideal companion for you if you are looking for a dog that is friendly and "caring" towards you. As most huskies have good temperament, dog owners will have a much easier time training their dogs. All of the above reasons justify why husky puppies are such popular choices among dog owners.

After reading the above paragraph, it might seem that the husky puppy is a flawless breed of dogs. However, this might not be the case. Adopting a husky puppy is not as simple as it appears to be. Health related problems will start to surface if they are not well taken care of. You will encounter other problems such as preparing the right diet for the your husky. Therefore, there are 3 things you must know before adopting husky puppies.

Tip #1: General Health and Well-being

Husky puppies are very enthusiastic when they meet new people. Therefore, the puppies should be very active and lively when they see you. Some of the actions they will do to welcome strangers will be actions such as wagging their tails and barking softly. These puppies will appear to be very approachable and therefore, you should not have any fear of the puppies biting you. However, if the husky puppies appears to be very lifeless and looks aggressive towards you, you should have your alarm raised. When husky puppies behave in such a way, they are most probably suffering from some sort of dog-related diseases. Therefore, it is advisable to share this behaviour of the puppies with the pet shop owner and advise them to bring the ill puppies to the vet. If the shop owner insists on not doing so, you will need to source for another place to get your husky puppy.

Tip #2: Health and diet

In order to ensure that the husky puppy that you bought from the pet shop is healthy, you should consult a vet for advice and do a full body check-up to see if there is any disease that requires the vet's attention. Another thing to take note of is that you have to look thoroughly through the dog's fur and coating to ensure that the dog does not have any spots. As for their daily meals, it is recommended that for each meal, at least 65% of it should be protein. However, it is hard to find any dog food that contains protein rate that is as high as 65%. For that reason, husky puppies owner prefer to prepare their own food for their beloved dogs.

Tip #3: Temperament

Although husky puppies are gentle and have tolerating tempers, people are misled into thinking that all huskies are "safe" to be brought home. As such, what is true of a group might not be true for an individual. This applies to the scenario of husky puppies as well. Some puppies can have very arrogant attitude and behaves aggressively against strangers. Therefore, you should have a so called "trial period" with the pet dog before deciding to adopt that husky.

In conclusion, you should get to know the health, diet and temperament of the husky before making any impulse purchases. Most importantly, pay attention to the 3 things you must know before becoming adopting a husky puppy.<bio>Clarence Clark is an avid Chihuahua dog lover providing valuable advice at http://www.chihuahuatime.com for fellow chihuahua dog lovers.
When looking for a new puppy and trying to decide which pick of the litter is best for you, there may be a time when you can't choose just one. However, you may want to consider the pros and cons of raising multiple puppies that are the same age.

Choosing multiple puppies may be more trouble than it's worth

When you raise multiple puppies that are the same age and from the same litter, there will be a natural hierarchy which will eventually develop and one of the dogs will grow up to be more dominant and bossy than the other. Trust me; I know firsthand what its like to raise a dominant and bossy dog. This means that the more obedient puppy may grow up without the right social skills needed to be self-confident.

The domineering dog may grow increasingly aggressive towards the other dog when it comes to being the leader in all instances. This leadership role, while a natural part of nature, can unfortunately reduce your other dog's ability to cope with certain situations and possibly develop stress related mental problems. Additionally, both dogs will suffer from separation anxiety when they are apart from one another. Its like separating human twins during childhood or any sibling.

Be prepared for some serious dog fighting

As they grow older, the multiple dogs will eventually establish their roles with one another and you will rarely have to be overly concerned about your adult dogs fighting. On the other hand, in the beginning, when these puppies are young, both of them will have a natural tendency to fight physically with each other when it comes to competition. Such competitive situations would include getting more attention than the other, feeding times and of course dominance over toys.

This situation will call for firm behavioral training and conditioning. If left unchecked, your puppies can hurt one another and the one dog who becomes the non-leader (submissive) may develop deep anxiety issues when he becomes an adult. All of these concerns become amplified if your dogs are of the same sex.

Having multiple puppies may hold back their training and behavior progress

This is a very important aspect of bringing multiple or more puppies into your home that many dog owners do not take this into consideration at all. Your multiple puppies will be so preoccupied with one another that they may not be drawn to needing your attention as much as you would like, or need for training purposes; this is why it is so important to think about what you are getting into with multiple dogs.

While this may not seem like such a horrible situation to get your self into, consider what happens when you are trying to train your puppies with the basic commands and rules of your home. The job will be much more difficult and extremely stressful on you, family members because their attention is understandably preoccupied by each other's company, and not your commands.<bio>Written by Kelly Marshall from Oh My Dog Supplies - to visit the largest provider of dog car seat covers online, go to http://www.ohmydogsupplies.com/dog-supplies/dog-car-seat-covers/</bio>

Having reached the top, they have stayed there for a number of years, and seem reluctant to relinquish the crown.

Many of the Labradors that have found homes as a result of the breed's popularity have become pets, but this dog was, and continues to be bred as a retrieving gun dog.

Labrador Puppies Hunting Homes

Visit a breeder or animal shelter, and you find many Labrador puppies hunting homes. Some will be purebred, AKC-registered dogs. Some will be mixed breed. Some will be bred for pets, while others will be bred for show. If you want Labrador puppies for hunting, however, you will want to look for specific characteristics.

Breeder

The best Labrador puppies for hunting are probably those that come from a good breeder. The breeder should be acquainted with the standard for the breed. More importantly, though, the breeder should be dedicated to, and passionate about, training, breeding, and hunting Labrador Retrievers.

Ask basic questions. Does the breeder use only breeding stock that comes from the finest field trial and hunt test lines available? Ask to see pedigrees of the breeding dogs. Ask to see proof of awards won.

Does the breeder monitor the health of breeding dogs? Are their Labs' eyes and hips screened for genetic disorders before breeding? Will they guarantee the health of the Labrador puppies' eyes and hips for a period of time? Do they keep kennels clean, clearly disinfected?

Are testimonials available from customers who have purchased Labrador puppies for hunting? Is there a possibility of talking directly to any of those people to learn more?

Labrador Puppies

Observe the puppies carefully, and ask questions. It won't be too hard to choose the puppies that look nicest to you, but there are more important matters at stake if you want Labrador puppies for hunting.

Run through the following check list. Labrador puppies that have all or most of these 7 features are likely to be the most trainable for hunting. The 7 features are not necessarily listed in order of importance.

1. The Labrador puppies have been well socialized, including learning to be comfortable with children as well as adults: learning to get along with other dogs; introduction to birds; crate conditioning; and kennel conditioning.

2. The Labrador puppies have been introduced to water if the season permits.

3. They are obviously intelligent.

4. They are bright and alert when playing.

5. All of the Labrador puppies have respected pedigrees.

6. All of the Labrador puppies have had quality veterinarian care, being wormed, and receiving necessary shots.

7. They are clean and shiny.

New Owner

No matter how wonderful the Labrador puppies hunting homes are, if they are going to be Labrador puppies for hunting, the new owner will have a lot of responsibility. You will have to take those intelligent, energetic, eager Labrador puppies and teach them to retrieve birds for you. To do so, you may want to consider the following points.

1. It is a fallacy that your Labrador puppies must stay outside in a kennel if they are going to be good hunting dogs. Labrador puppies bond with their owners better, and develop much better temperaments if they are permitted to live indoors with the family.

2. For the first 5 or 6 months, you may want to teach your Labrador puppies little else than retrieving. That is, you may want to teach them to come when called. This is of topmost importance in retrieving. It is also important when an emergency arises, such as an unexpected vehicle, a snake, etc. It is a lesson that human children also should learn from a young age. You want your Labrador puppies to learn that "Come" means immediately running directly to you. 3. Some puppies are taught to sit when they are very young, but they receive so much praise, all they want to do is sit. Some are started out with an obedience course that would be used for any pet dog. They learn to obey many commands, but end up not wanting to add retrieving to the list.

4. Keeping Labrador puppies in the house allows you to use the hallway as an early "retrieving ground" for the puppies. When you throw a dummy down the hall, they have nowhere to go but back to you. As the puppies learn, you can sit to one side of the hallway, making them come directly to you. If they try to run past you, you can easily capture them.

If you are not experienced at training Labrador puppies for hunting, you may want to enlist a trainer who is, or follow use of the many books that offer complete training programs. Finally, even though you got your Labrador puppies for hunting, enjoy their undying affection and humor. <bio>©2007, Anna Hart.
Bringing a dog into your home can be an exciting prospect. Dogs make great pets, and are wonderful companions. After you decide that you want to be a dog owner, selecting a breed of dog is the next logical step. Many prospective dog owners look for Havanese puppies. Havanese puppies are a popular breed of dog, and because of their size and temperament, make perfect pets for families.

Finding Havanese puppies for sale can be tricky especially if you are looking for a pure breed. And with Havanese puppies being so popular, it is hard to find them at a shelter. But there are places you can go online to find listing of Havanese puppies for sale. Online pet stores allow breeders to showcase many Havanese puppies for sale all in one place. And with so many to choose from, you can be sure that you will find one that will be the perfect fit for your family.

After you decide to add a Havanese puppy to your family, it's sometimes hard to know what to do next. Looking for Havanese puppies for sale online will help you find hundreds of websites with breeders showcasing their puppies. With breeders being able to show their dogs online, instead of in magazines or pet stores, families looking for Havanese puppies for sale have far more options. And while the websites have few differences, you will want to pay close attention to the breeders themselves. There are some basics to consider when choosing the right dog for your family. Look at the breeder, and how they treat their dogs. You want to choose a breeder that treats their dogs as if they were one of their own, feeding them high quality food, giving them love and attention, and providing them with a safe and loving environment. You also should consider the cost of the puppy; Havanese puppies can be expensive; it's best to set a budget and stick with it. And of course, you will want to look at pictures and descriptions of the dogs and choose a puppy that looks like it will be a good fit for your family.

After you have found the right breeder offering the best Havanese puppy for sale to suit your family, it's time to bring your new dog home. But before you do that, make sure that you have puppy-proofed your home. In fact, you will want to make sure to do this before you even complete the purchase of your Havanese puppy, as many breeders will want to visit your home to make sure it is ready for a dog. In addition to puppy proofing, you will want to purchase some basic supplies for your Havanese puppy. These should include high quality food, a water bowl, a food bowl, an ID tag, brush/grooming tools, and a dog bed. Once you get to know your puppy and his/her personality, you can buy toys and more supplies, but you will want to have the basics on hand at the start. And, of course, you will want to do some reading and research about Havanese puppies to make sure that you have a smooth transition with your newest family member. <bio>In addition to other pets, the Fiona Kelly is a dog lover and owner with years of experience with small dogs and breeders. Researching Havanese puppies for sale showed her that this is the best way to find a reputable breeder to add a second dog to her family.
There are very predictable stages that puppies go through as they mature. While each breed is slightly different the general timeline will be the same for all breeds of dogs. By knowing what to expect at different ages and stages you can be prepared as the owner to plan for training and socialization activities.

Dogs, just like humans, will mature at different rates. Some breeds are less boisterous and playful even as puppies and other breeds keep their puppy-like behavior far into adulthood. The following timelines are general to dogs; research your breed for specific information.

Day 1 -- the puppy is born. It will be very active after the mother has cleaned it. The puppy will make lots of noise and will be very wiggly, although their eyes will be completely closed and their ears will be very close to their heads and seem almost underdeveloped. The mother dog will lick the puppies on their stomachs to stimulate them to urinate and defecate.

Day 3 -- the ears will begin to appear bigger and will be held farther away from the head. The puppies will continue to make a lot of noise, particularly if they are away from the litter or the mother. Puppies should be handled minimally at this time but consistent human interaction and hearing people around is a great start to socialization.

Week 1 -- by the end of the first week the puppies will be more mobile and will crawl around on their bellies and have a good sense of direction when moving towards the mother dog. The mother will leave the puppies briefly several times a day and the puppies will be OK with this. Handle the puppies daily for short periods, never completely removing them from the puppy area.

Week 2 -- by the end of the second week the puppies should be walking with a fair amount of stability. The sharp puppy claws may need to be blunted to avoid injure to the littermates. The puppy's eyes will start to open slightly and they will begin to smell towards the end of the second week. They are starting to notice noises and when people arrive. Handle the puppies daily and for longer periods.

Week 3 -- puppies will be able to handle some soft, moist puppy food. They still do not have teeth so kibble is not acceptable. They have limited sight but good sense of hearing and smell. They are constantly on the move in the litter area and begin to play and socialize with each other.

Week 4 -- puppy teeth are in and the litter can start on soft foods on a more continuous basis, and by the end of the month they should be able to start on dry food Puppies will start learning socialization and appropriate chewing and biting from both the mother and littermates.

Week 7 -- ready to be out and about. Puppies love to run, have a good sense of mobility, scent, taste and sight. They are very active and will recognize humans by both sight and scent.

Week 8 -- puppies can now be removed from the mother. They are able to eat and digest dry food and are independent in their actions.

Some breeders prefer to keep their puppies an additional 4 weeks and don't sell them until they have been completely socialized with the litter. Many breeds do better when kept with their littermates for longer periods of time. Breeds that are prone to separation anxiety and shyness often are breeds that benefit from being left with the breeder for the additional period of time. <bio>Like this article?
Please think carefully before adding a German Shepherd puppy into your life. These dogs need attention, finical support and training from day one. All German Shepherd puppies will make a mess of your home, so get used to it. It takes time to teach a German Shepherd puppy housetraining. You can make any training easier with sensible German Shepherd puppy names.

German Shepherd puppies are smarter than you are, more loyal than you are and better looking than you are. No wonder you are thinking of getting one =96 they bring out the best in you. However, before bringing home a German Shepherd puppy, you need to be aware of the incredible change this will make to your life. By being aware of this German Shepherd puppy information, you will know whether another kind of pet or another breed of dog will be right for you.

German Shepherd puppies look a bit different from adults. Their ears are floppy instead of pointed, but they will naturally stand up as the puppy ages. Most German Shepherd puppies change color as they get older, but nothing so dramatic as changing from jet black to snowy white. German Shepherd puppies want to please you, want to have fun and want you to be the center of their world.

German Shepherd puppies are very boisterous and do not know their own strength. You need to let them know right away what is acceptable and what is not. A hard stare, a frown, a sharp "No!" is enough to get the puppy's attention. Never hit your German Shepherd puppy. That will make any dog terrified of people. Dogs bite more out of fear than out of viciousness.

If you live with a family, the whole family needs to use the same commands with the German Shepherd puppy. For example, if Mom and Dad will not allow the puppy on the couch but the kids will, this will result in a really confused German Shepherd. Although highly intelligent, they are always smart enough to slink off of the couch whenever the parents get home. Decide on rules like this and post them where all the family members can see them before the German Shepherd puppy comes home.

In time, lots of patience, daily handling and attention, your German Shepherd puppy will be a canine ambassador. Your friends, neighbors and even total strangers will appreciate you for taking the time and responsibility to train your dog well. You can help the training process along by not only giving your German Shepherd puppy a sensible name, but getting the puppy spayed or neutered. Mentally, they stay like puppies and are comfortable letting you make the big decisions. They also avoid a lot of health problems this way.

Remember that German Shepherd puppies trying to learn your commands is a lot like you being suddenly transplanted to a different country where everyone speaks a different language from you and have completely different customs. Never be afraid or ashamed to ask a professional dog trainer or your vet for help in communicating with your German Shepherd. Your puppy is ready to listen. <bio>Jan Ryan loves anything to do with dogs, especially German Shepherd puppies! http://www.officialgermanshepherdguide.com/German_Shepherd_Puppies/index.ph= p German Shepherd puppies make very loyal, protective and loving pets. http://www.officialgermanshepherdguide.com/German_Shepherd_Puppies/German_S= hepherd_Puppy_Care.php German Shepherd puppy names should not be similar at all to everyday commands. </bio>
