<content:encoded><![CDATA[ With all the hype out right now about hybrid cars, you may be considering buying one. Before you do, you should consider the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pros+and+cons+of+hybrid+cars" rel="tag">pros and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cons+of+hybrid+cars" rel="tag">cons of hybrid cars</a></a>. What benefits can you expect to experience and what difficulties should you plan to face? <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuel+savings" rel="tag">Fuel Savings</a> The first thing that comes to mind for most people when considering the pros and cons of hybrid cars is the possibility of saving money on fuel. With <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuel+efficiency" rel="tag">fuel efficiency</a> between 30 and 60 mpg, this is definitely a consideration, particularly as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuel+costs" rel="tag">fuel costs</a> start to rise. Unfortunately, one of the downsides is that hybrid cars cost significantly more than non-hybrids.<br /><br />Some of this cost is offset by the fuel savings but, at current fuel costs, it is very difficult to make up the initial cost difference. Whether you think this is an issue depends upon what you think will happen to fuel costs over the life of the car. If they will steadily rise, eventually you may save enough to make up the price differential. If you think they will level out, then it will be nearly impossible and you will need to resign yourself to the fact that this is a more <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/expensive+car" rel="tag">expensive car</a>. <br /><br /> Because hybrid cars are still relatively new and rare, the maintenance costs on them are a little bit higher than they are on non-hybrid cars. Parts cost more, service may be more difficult to find, and they are even harder than regular cars to service yourself. This additional cost should be factored into the price discussion. <br /><br /> Status can be considered among both the pros and cons of hybrid cars. In one sense, having a hybrid car gives you a reputation for being a person of substance, which may help you in your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/networking+efforts" rel="tag">networking efforts</a>. In another sense, these cars are generally less frilly and fancy than their non-hybrid counterparts. You won't find hybrid luxury or sports cars; they tend to be much more practical vehicles. Whether you consider this to be a positive or a negative will depend upon your personality, values, and career path. <br /><br /> Some of the pros and cons of hybrid cars may be more important to you than others; depending on your values, career, and economic situation, certain of the pros and cons of hybrid cars discussed below may weigh more heavily on your decision making. After considering the pros and cons of hybrid cars, you should sit down and weigh how they affect your decision. Do you still want a hybrid car? <br /><br /> For information on buying and selling new and second hand cars and bikes visit <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for India's leading automobile portal <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ US President George W. Bush once advised Americans to invest in buying and patronizing hybrid vehicles to help cure and eliminate the country's addition to oil. Because contract oil prices in the world market have always been very volatile, there is a pending need to significantly lower all industries and peoples' reliance and need for oil. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+experts" rel="tag">Car experts</a> now recommend buying <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">hybrid cars</a> more than any other type of cars. <br /><br /> What are hybrid cars? Basically, these are vehicles that run on two sources of energy---the usual gasoline or oil and electricity stored within an imbedded battery. The electricity from batteries serves as a back up or an assisting energy source. There are operations and functions of the hybrid car that utilize the electricity. This way, full consumption and reliance from the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline+engine" rel="tag">gasoline engine</a> is lowered, making consumption of gasoline significantly lower. These days, hybrid cars provide about 60-40 gasoline-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/electricity+power" rel="tag">electricity power</a>, wherein gasoline <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/energy+components" rel="tag">energy components</a> make up majority of the car functions. <br /><br /> Is there a need to prefer a hybrid car? Before any purchase transaction for such a fuel-efficient car, it would be wise and logical if you would first consider the following checklist: <br /><br /> 1. Is a hybrid car the right and appropriate car for you? 2. Are your personal driving habits in favor of using a hybrid car? 3. What are the helpful and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/necessary+options" rel="tag">necessary options</a> available? 4. Do you have enough information to validate the reliability and credibility of the dealer and manufacturer? 5. Are there options in terms of car dealers? Will it be viable to buy in dealers from another state or area? 6. Is there a sticker price or manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) that is the actual price of the hybrid car, no more, no less? <br /><br /> Looking at the pros and cons of buying a hybrid car is easy. First of all, you would be able to generate a significant amount of savings in the form of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline+consumption" rel="tag">gasoline consumption</a> declines. However, it is just logical that hybrid cars currently cost higher than the normal and traditional cars. Hybrid cars are much lighter in weight and the basic structure and components and made of lighter alloys and metals, as weight is also a significant factor that boosts crude consumption. For its disadvantage, some people less prefer light structures and components in cars as such materials deform easier and are not too durable. <br /><br /> Hybrid cars perform full functions and features of a regular car. However, in comparison, hybrid cars fall less. For instance, if you are very particular about speed, hybrid cars would surely disappoint you. That is because electricity is not yet a viable source of power and energy for cars. That is why it just installed as a back up and secondary source of power in hybrid cars. If you are worrying about charging of batteries, do not worry. Hybrid cars are designed to have components that facilitate conversion of mechanical energy to stored-electrical. That is why through braking and acceleration, the car's battery is being charged. The disadvantage of this is that the major weight of the car and the overall space consumption can be directly influenced by battery installations. <br /><br /> It is advisable to buy a hybrid car, but if you are after superior performance, wait further because car makers are still in the process of researching and developing better and more powerful hybrid cars. <bio>Alex Baumm. Will you prefer to buy a hybrid car or not? As a buyer, the choice is up to you. Find more tips at <a href="http://www.carclubtalk.com" >http://www.carclubtalk.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+plants" rel="tag">Hybrid plants</a> like corn or rice are familiar to many but <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+car" rel="tag">hybrid car</a>s</a>? Are these space-age cars that do not need fuel to run or even fly in the sky? <br /><br /> To the uninitiated, hybrid cars may seem like an alien form or specie that requires a lot of explaining. To car and environment aficionados, hybrid cars are either bane or boon especially with the increasing fuel prices worldwide. <br /><br /> Hybrid cars may just be the answer of modern scientists to the rising fuel cost and the deteriorating quality of the environment. Contrary to your belief, hybrid cars are no longer new to the society as the auto industry has come up with various models of hybrid cars. Car manufacturers who have been left behind in the race for the perfect hybrid car have announced their intention to compete in the market. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+vehicles" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+vehicle" rel="tag">Hybrid vehicle</a>s</a> are those that possess the dual qualities of being able to run on more than two sources of power like gasoline or battery. The first hybrid vehicles came in the form of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+bikes" rel="tag">hybrid bikes</a> which has fuel features but can be operated using the pedal skills of the rider. Hybrid cars are more common in Europe particularly in Norway and France. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+buses" rel="tag">Hybrid buses</a> that are operated by overhead and by diesel when they travel in other areas without the overhead wires are also being used in Seattle. There are also hybrid submarines which run on nuclear, diesel or electric energy. <br /><br /> The most common hybrid vehicle is that powered by both gasoline and electricity. A hybrid car attempts to allow the owner to save on fuel while being environment friendly. However, can hybrid cars be efficient enough to provide long distance travel without being refueled or recharged? <br /><br /> Most gasoline-powered vehicles answer this requirement although they cause more damage to the environment because of the emissions. On the other hand, electric vehicles are more environment-friendly but can only go on a maximum of 161 kilometers until it is recharged and the recharging time is very slow. The hybrid car combines the advantages of both the gasoline-powered and the electric-powered car. <br /><br /> A hybrid car possesses a gasoline engine much like the ordinary gasoline powered car but the engine is much smaller, more environment-friendly due to lesser emissions and more efficient. It also possesses a very high tech electric motor which allows dual use of batteries and energy. <br /><br /> The hybrid car may just be in its infancy but the human mind can very well make sure that the hybrid cars will be the cars of the future. <bio>The author is a regular contributor to Hybrid Headquarters <a href="http://www.hybrid-hq.com">http://www.hybrid-hq.com</a> where more hybrid car information is freely available. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ People have a tendency to make up their minds as to whether or not to purchase <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">hybrid cars</a> without truly examining the answer to the question "how do hybrid cars work?" By not truly understanding the process of how hybrid cars work, people have a tendency to look at the cars as if they are something exotic and can be put off to purchasing. This is silly as simply examining the basics of the car's operative process will remove any <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/preconceived+notions" rel="tag">preconceived notions</a> as to them being exotic are removed and the cars can be seen as part of the natural, evolutionary process of advancements in the realm of alternative energy. <br /><br /> When it comes to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/benefits+of+a+hybrid+car" rel="tag">benefits of a hybrid car</a>, one of the main benefits is that these cars will get significantly more miles to the gallon that a `traditional' <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline+car" rel="tag">gasoline car</a> can achieve. When it comes to a simple matter of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dollars+and+cents" rel="tag">dollars and cents</a>, a hybrid car can gain an additional 40 miles to a gallon. That is an enormous cost saving benefit and such savings have led to the expanded interest in the purchasing of hybrid cars. Now, while most people are familiar with the savings that these hybrid cars can provide, they are not entirely sure how the engines of a hybrid car can actually work. Because of this lack of knowledge in terms of the actual operation of the car, some people may be somewhat put off fro actually purchasing hybrid cars. This is a shame as a simple explanation as to how do hybrid cars work would put aside a number of concerns people may have that preclude them from making the actual purchase of the cars. <br /><br /> So, how do hybrid cars work? The way in which hybrid cars work is based upon the type of hybrid <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+one" rel="tag">car one</a> is using. If the hybrid car is an ethanol hybrid car, then a percentage of the fuel of the car will be derive from ethanol. In some cases, the percentage of ethanol that is used is roughly 10% of the fuel. While this may seem like a small amount, it actually reduces emissions significantly. Answering how do hybrid cars work in regards to electronic hybrids is as follows: an electronic engine "splits" the work with the gasoline fuel source. Currently, on the American market, electronic imports remain the most popular of the hybrid releases namely due to the fact that ethanol is a difficult fuel to find in certain areas. <br /><br /> For information on buying and selling new and second hand cars and bikes visit <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for India's leading automobile portal <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[A regular car uses an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/internal+combustion+engine" rel="tag">internal combustion engine</a> with a fuel-air mixture powering it. A <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+car" rel="tag">hybrid car</a> on the other hand powers itself not only using the conventional means but it also uses a variety of alternate means like fuel-cells and solar-energy to turn the wheels. That makes it more environment friendly and increases its mileage. <br /><br /> Some people think that <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">hybrid cars</a> are the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cars+of+the+future" rel="tag">cars of the future</a>. They say it is what we will be driving in a ten years time. It is true that hybrid cars have many advantages. But we must not forget the shortcomings of the hybrid car. <br /><br /> Gas and oil are non <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/renewable+sources+of+energy" rel="tag">renewable sources of energy</a>. They also cause much damage to the environment. There is a danger they might soon also be depleted from the earth. On the other hand, hybrid cars are environment friendly. They source of energy they use is renewable and therefore they pose much less threat to the world. Hybrid cars are efficient and save money on fueling. <br /><br /> Performance wise, hybrid cars are rubbish. At the stage they currently are, they are more than likely to break down after traveling every few miles. If you buy a hybrid car, leave for office an hour earlier than you used to before, because hybrid cars are much slower than normal cars. Because they have very less energy to run with, they are made with as light bodies as possible. We want to protect the environment to protect our children. But if you're planning to buy them a hybrid car to do so, the chances of them being flattened by some bigger car are far more. So if you want to keep your children safe, why not buy them a Land Rover instead? And then there's the matter of power again. With the amount of power a hybrid can provide, imagine the trouble and time it would take for you to reach a high altitude point with a fairly steep road, that is, if you would ever manage to get up there on that car. <br /><br /> Whether hybrid cars will be the future of the car industry, one cannot say for sure. But one thing is certain, where it stands today is quite for from a point where it will replace the petrol or gas powered cars. <bio>Jonathon Hardcastle writes articles for <a href="http://worldofautomotives.com/" >http://worldofautomotives.com/</a> - In addition, Jonathon also writes articles for <a href="http://supershoppingtips.com/" >http://supershoppingtips.com/</a> and <a href="http://sportsoftheworld.net/" >http://sportsoftheworld.net/</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Since <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+car" rel="tag">hybrid car</a>s</a> are slowly becoming all the rage for those who are seeking to promote energy independence, it should come as no surprises that deal minded individuals are looking to purchase used hybrid cars. Of course, used cars have their positive and negatives and associated risks. When it comes to purchasing used hybrid cars =96 or any cars for that matter =96 there are instances when purchasing a used can be quite a deal. In other instances, purchasing used cars can be a complete disaster. Ultimately, the positives or negatives associated with purchasing used hybrid cars will b based upon the prior owner of the car and the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/actual+condition" rel="tag">actual condition</a> of the car. <br /><br /> It has been said to avoid purchasing used cars because purchasing used cars is the equivalent of purchasing "someone else's problems." In other words, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mechanical+defects" rel="tag">mechanical defects</a> of the car that currently exist will become the new owner's problems and the need to repair these problems will be pawned off to the new owner. There is truth to this in the event that the car has mechanical problems. If the car does not have mechanical problems, then there should be no issue to contend with when purchasing used hybrid cars. <br /><br /> Probably the best way to avoid any associated problems with purchasing used hybrid cars would be to seek a car that is being offered privately by a single owner. This is not to say that one should avoid <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/purchasing+a+car" rel="tag">purchasing a car</a> from a dealer or a lot, but potential consumers need to realize that purchasing from a single owner as opposed is a somewhat safer venture. <br /><br /> Of course, in order to get the best deals on a used hybrid car, one needs to search for a hybrid car that has been established in the marketplace as a top of the line car. After all, a car that has a reputation for possessing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/high+qualities" rel="tag">high qualities</a> would be a better purchase than one that is notorious for a multitude of problems. Of the hybrid cars, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/toyota+prius" rel="tag">Toyota Prius</a> is one of the best reviewed models. The status of the Toyota Prius has reached "loftiness" mainly because it has consistently received top consumer reviews and has an established track record for being a reliable car. As such, a used Toyota Prius may be a solid choice if you are shopping for a used car. <br /><br /> For information on buying and selling new and second hand cars and bikes visit <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for India's leading automobile portal <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[In the event of the current economic headwinds that have hit the US economy and gas prices, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">Hybrid cars</a> have emerged as the panacea to these crises. But do hybrid cars really save <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gas+money" rel="tag">gas money</a>? Hybrid cars are designed to use both electric and gasoline to run its engines. The most important aspect of this type of design though is its effect on the environment. This type of design reduces <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/carbon+emission" rel="tag">carbon emission</a> compared to the usual car engine design. Hybrid cars are dubbed to be 'green' cars or 'environment-friendly' cars. But other than this aspect, Hybrid cars also reduce the use of gas because of the electric part of the engine. So, to answer if Hybrid cars save gas money: yes they do. However, in evaluating 'buy or not' decisions, the gain or savings from use is not the only thing to consider. The cost of acquiring should also be considered.<br><br>Hybrid cars usually cost an average of over five thousand more than the regular non-Hybrid cars. There are even those premium Hybrid cars that cost over two thousand than the regular non-Hybrid cars-a ridiculously high price for a car that's supposed to be the panacea of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/economic+crises" rel="tag">economic crises</a>. The next thing that would be worth looking into is the gas savings on Hybrid cars. According to research, Hybrid cars are supposed to save you somewhere between two hundred to six hundred dollars in gas money every year. If you do the math, your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/breakeven+point" rel="tag">breakeven point</a> would be somewhere between five to more than ten years, depending on the cost of the car.<br><br>If, you are currently looking for a way to save on gas, then shelling out cash to purchase a car that's five thousand higher than regular cars should be properly evaluated. You will be looking at a breakeven point of five years or more. And if you do not hold your car for more than five years, then buying a Hybrid car is clearly not an option for you using the cost factor. When it comes to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/environmental+benefit" rel="tag">environmental benefit</a> from Hybrid cars, there is no question on its benefit. Yes, it would be a good idea to do your part on saving the environment, but will holding the cost of a Hybrid car save your purse from being emptied?<br><br>Gas mileage using hybrid cars is better for city driving rather on highway driving. So if you're considering buying a hybrid car, then your location should be another factor you should weigh. Yes, hybrid cars save gas money, but more in city driving. If you do highway driving more, then the savings on gas would be lesser and you will be looking at a longer breakeven period.<br><br>Hybrid cars do save gas money but requires a higher holding cost and a longer breakeven point. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Ever since <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">hybrid cars</a> first burst on to the motoring scene, people have wondered how good they really are. Even today, when hybrid cars are better known, it seems a long way off until they are a common sight on our roads, with more hybrid cars being driven than <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/traditional+gasoline" rel="tag">traditional gasoline</a> driven ones. The makers of the upcoming hybrid cars are determined to show off the advantages that modern technology can offer us. Motor companies as well known as Toyota and Ford are competing to produce the best upcoming hybrid cars on the market. <br /><br /> The upcoming hybrid cars promise to be even better than the ones that are already available. Hybrid cars are designed with the environment in mind, and the savvy car companies know that the highest prizes will go to those companies that can design an outstanding car that is easy on the consumer's pocket as well as the world around us. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+manufacturers" rel="tag">Car manufacturers</a> are investing untold amounts of money on the creation of new and upcoming hybrid cars. With the advent of the totally <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/electric+car" rel="tag">electric car</a> still on the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/distant+horizon" rel="tag">distant horizon</a>, motor companies are currently competing to make sure their own hybrid cars produce the lowest amount of emissions possible. <br /><br /> This is the area that is most important in upcoming hybrid cars. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/co2+emissions" rel="tag">CO2 emissions</a> are extremely damaging to the atmosphere and the world around us. Reducing the level of these emissions is a huge task, but it's a task that car manufacturers are taking on with enthusiasm. This year's upcoming hybrid cars include some offerings from Saab, who boast that their hybrid cars have not only significantly reduced these damaging emissions; on occasion they have eliminated them entirely. <br /><br /> That is a strong statement to make, and it has raised the bar for all other upcoming hybrid cars. Just imagine a world in which every car is a hybrid, and not a single one releases any damaging emissions into the atmosphere at all. Until then, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/chief+aim" rel="tag">chief aim</a> of all hybrids is to generate significantly less emissions, and to become more accessible to more people worldwide. Make no mistake, these cars are slowly integrating themselves into popular consciousness, and as time goes by they will become more affordable and more easily thought of as a potential new car for the average person. Perhaps it's almost time to wave goodbye to the internal combustion engine altogether. <br /><br /> For information on buying and selling new and second hand cars and bikes visit <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for India's leading automobile portal <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Deciding on the purchase of a hybrid car first begs the question, who makes them? The answer is just about everyone. Anyone who makes and sells cars are likely to do the same with hybrid cars especially now when their popularity is swiftly increasing. There are many manufacturers who make and sell hybrid cars who are constantly striving for better technologies.<br /><br />New <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/plug+in+hybrid+cars" rel="tag">plug in hybrid cars</a> are examples of the lengths those who make these cars are willing to go to improve their product. Anyone who makes hybrid cars is earning a fortune as they are being encouraged by the government with the likes of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tax+rebates" rel="tag">tax rebates</a> and carpool lane stickers as well as the emergence of public <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+buses" rel="tag">hybrid buses</a>. <br /><br /> Hybrid cars are no longer a thing of the past and are not as unattractive as once suspected as there are many makes and models now catering for a combination of gas engine and electric motor. Any manufacturer who makes or sells hybrid cars is sitting on a goldmine as they are guaranteed to be around for quite a while and with some governments imposing bans and fines on vehicles with excessive <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gas+emissions" rel="tag">gas emissions</a>, hybrid cars may be the only way to turn. It has been predicted that hybrid cars will one day outnumber the average car in both technology and numbers. <br /><br /> Everyone can make money from hybrid cars as they provide an <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/economic+solution" rel="tag">economic solution</a> to car owners and offer a good deal of business to car dealers. Anyone who owns a hybrid car can make money through the hybrid tax <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rebate+scheme" rel="tag">rebate scheme</a> as well as saving a fortune on gasoline which is now heavily priced and frequently increasing. Some states and areas have introduced carpool lane stickers for hybrid cars which give them access to high occupancy vehicle lanes and can dramatically cut their commute times. <br /><br /> This is highly advantageous in areas of high traffic especially in places where commuting is the norm. These stickers tend to be limited and only issued to hybrids which meet certain standards of low emissions and high <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gas+mileage" rel="tag">gas mileage</a> but they are just another incentive for drivers to purchase hybrid cars. Anyone who owns a hybrid car can make a savings on their investment which is just one reason why they are steadily growing in popularity. Energy efficiency and lowered gas emissions as well as economic savings all push hybrid cars into the forefront of the market. <br /><br /> For information on buying and selling new and second hand cars and bikes visit <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for India's leading automobile portal <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">Hybrid cars</a> are fast gaining popularity these days. And that's because these cars seem to be the smartest option for car owners. Hybrid cars, as its name suggests, can run on both electricity and regular fuel. Hybrid cars can either be diesel-based or gasoline-based, depending upon how the manufacturer had created them.<br><br>Simply stated, hybrid cars can run both on fuel and on batteries. Just charge the car for sometime before going out on a trip and you'll have <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/reserve+fuel" rel="tag">reserve fuel</a> just in case you ran out of gas on an abandoned town. For shorter trips, the electricity mode is the best option. Hybrid cars are still in the development stages. And there are lots of countries that are yet to see these types of cars arriving at their shores.<br><br>Hybrid cars are created primarily with the aim of reducing the demands for petroleum. With the sky-rocketing value of fuel prices, it seems not practical to own a car any longer. But thanks to hybrid cars, there's a light at the end of the tunnel. It could just be the solution to the rising fuel costs.<br><br>But more than <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuel+efficiency" rel="tag">fuel efficiency</a>, hybrid cars are environmental friendly too. These cars don't emit gases that may cause greenhouse effect on the environment. This especially true if the car is running on electricity mode alone. Therefore, these cars contribute to the wellness of the Earth, which had actually suffered much from carbon monoxide emission in the last three centuries.<br><br><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+makers" rel="tag">Car makers</a> all over the world are currently <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/busy+at+work" rel="tag">busy at work</a> making prototypes and models of new hybrid cars to hit the market. The cost of these cars can be really expensive, given the fact that there are not that mass produced just yet. However, it is expected that one <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+suv" rel="tag">hybrid SUV</a> should sell at only $23,000 very soon. That is the ideal price of these cars, which can be considered affordable given the country's financial situation.<br><br>American <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/car+manufacturer" rel="tag">car manufacturer</a> General Motors is expected to release new models of hybrid cars in the near future. They are looking to make cars better than their foreign competitors, which are currently enjoying good market sales as far as this car line is concerned.<br><br>However, there are still a lot of things to address when it comes to hybrid cars, more particularly consumer-related issues. Even if these cars are jumping in their popularity, not all people appreciate these cars just yet. There seems to be a need for intensive promotion in the market to let consumers know about their options. For some people, hybrid cars look intimidating and a little too futuristic. Others stick to traditional cars because they already know their way around them, as far as repair and maintenance are concerned.<br><br>But other than these concerns, hybrid cars are expected to stay for a while in the automotive market. There will always be a need for these cars and it would come a time when people would start looking for them and prefer them over the cars they knew so well about. Manufacturers are eagerly waiting for that time.<bio>Visit us and find the best <a href="http://www.pacificnissan.com/new-vehicles?lang=en">new Nissan cars for sale in San Diego</a> area and <a href="http://www.pacificnissan.com/parts?lang=en">car parts in San Diego</a> at <a href="http://www.pacificnissan.com">Pacific Nissan</a>.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hydrogen+engines" rel="tag">Hydrogen engines</a> may be powering automotive vehicles in the near future. Major car manufacturers have already begun research on hydrogen engines and several manufacturers have already released cars that use hydrogen engines. Hybrid cars that run on both petrol and hydrogen are currently being used by some consumers.<br><br>Unfortunately, there are many alternatives in the area of alternative energy engines. Electric cars and water/petrol hybrid modifications are some of the other options. Before you switch to a vehicle that uses a hydrogen engine, it's important to examine the pros and cons of hydrogen engines.<br><br>There are many advantages of using a hydrogen engine as opposed to a petrol combustion engine. There are two kinds of hydrogen engines, one that is combustion based and the other relies on electromechanical conversion by using a fuel cell. Combustion engines are currently cheaper compared to electromechanical conversion. Hybrid engines are combustion engines that can either use regular petrol or hydrogen in powering the vehicle.<br><br>Hydrogen engines are comparable to regular petrol engines when it comes to power and performance. There are negligible differences when these engines are used in family cars. Several traditionalists have stated that hydrogen engines are not powerful enough to meet the requirements of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/high+performance+cars" rel="tag">high performance cars</a>; however this statement has been largely disputed. <br><br>Most people who drive cars that use hydrogen engines are unable to notice any notable differences between <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hydrogen+cars" rel="tag">hydrogen cars</a> and petrol cars. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hydrogen+powered+cars" rel="tag">Hydrogen powered cars</a> can be as smooth and powerful as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/petrol+powered+cars" rel="tag">petrol powered cars</a>.<br><br>However, there are several drawbacks in using a hydrogen vehicle. Hydrogen is not a staple fuel source, and hydrogen pumps have not been installed in all gas stations. Even though hydrogen is competitively priced, prices have been slow to fall as the hydrogen industry has yet to mature and achieve economies of scale that could greatly lower the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/price+of+hydrogen" rel="tag">price of hydrogen</a>.<br><br><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hydrogen+fuel+cells" rel="tag">Hydrogen fuel cells</a> are also expensive and fragile. Rare metals are used in the construction of hydrogen fuel cells. Scientists are trying to produce hydrogen fuel cells using common metals, but until they do, hydrogen fuel cells will remain costly to produce. Fuel cells can also be fragile and ill-equipped in handling the vibrations and bumps of daily travel. Hydrogen fuel cells also have difficulty operating in cold weather, thus rendering them unreliable in cold weather conditions.<br><br>Hydrogen engines have been touted as a long-term solution to the ongoing energy crisis. Hydrogen is a renewable resource and it burns cleanly, making it a financially viable, environmentally-friendly energy resource. Unfortunately, there are also many drawbacks to using a vehicle that runs solely on hydrogen. Before you purchase a hydrogen powered vehicle, it is important to weigh the pros and cons, especially since the technology for hydrogen engines is still in its infancy. <br><br>Fortunately, there are many alternatives to hydrogen engines that are equally compelling. Consumers and motorists have developed a high dependency on petrol. If you're anxious to save the environment and your money, you can consider alternatives, such as electric cars, or water/petrol hybrid home conversion kits.<bio><a href="http://www.drivingcarwithwater.info/">Click Here</a> to learn how to <a href="http://www.drivingcarwithwater.info/"> run your car on water </a> today. <content:encoded><![CDATA[One thing the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+car" rel="tag">hybrid car</a>s</a> promise users is the most, is their ability to save gas by consuming less, as well as reduction in atmospheric pollution. For that reason more people prefer to own <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+vehicles" rel="tag">hybrid vehicles</a> these days. Hybrid cars run on both fuel and engines that are powered by battery. This means that, they consume less oil and emit less gas when compared to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline" rel="tag">gasoline</a> powered vehicles. Hybrid car, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/no+doubt" rel="tag">no doubt</a> is a possible solution to the sporadic hike in fuel price in the oil market. <br /><br /> Because of the benefits or advantages accrued from using or owning hybrid cars, the US government had welcomed and supported the manufacturing of this model of car. It has also allowed importation as well as encouraging automobile company in the country like Ford and General Motors to manufacture hybrid cars. <br /><br /> Some of the advantages derived from hybrid cars include the following: <br /><br /> (a) Savings on low gas usage: <br /><br /> Hybrid car <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/combines" rel="tag">combines</a> both electric power and gasoline powered engine. Hence each function all by itself, and combines together depending on which is weaker or stronger when running. The regenerative braking feature enables the engine to compliment each other <br /><br /> (b) Consistent performance: <br /><br /> Unlike the traditional gas powered engine, hybrid cars do not require transmissions to make their engines work at full capacity even at reduced speeds. Hybrid cars function normal and on a consistent basis at any motor speed. <br /><br /> (c) Environmentally friendly: <br /><br /> Hybrid cars, because of their combination of electric powered and gasoline -- powered engines, emit significantly less gas into the environment. The effect of this in the long-run will be a clean population free environment around the globe. <br /><br /> (d) Convenience: <br /><br /> Less amount is expended on gasoline for hybrid cars. This is because of the battery powered engine used by hybrid cars. This is in perfect contrast to owners of the convention <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gas+powered+cars" rel="tag">gas powered cars</a> who cannot help but feel the scourge of the soaring fuel pump price. Also, most hybrid cars are easy to maneuver on the road because of its light weight. The designs are also something to behold and they come in style. <br /><br /> Some are of the opinion that buying or owning a hybrid car is not ideal for now because of its expensive nature. Notwithstanding its cost, the advantages to be derived from owning this type of vehicle in the long run is worth it. It will be better if more people demand for hybrid cars because this will induce the manufacturers to manufacture more and the price will eventually fall in no time at all. <bio>For an honest review and guide to hybrid car information, you have got to visit <a href="http://www.hybrid-car-site.com" >http://www.hybrid-car-site.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[As gas prices continue to rise to unprecedented heights with future increases on the horizon (projected prices for the summer of 2006 are as much as $1.50 per liter, or $6 per gallon) more and more people are considering purchasing a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+vehicle" rel="tag">hybrid vehicle</a>. It is important to understand what a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+car" rel="tag">hybrid car</a> is, what types are available, and the benefits of purchasing a hybrid vehicle. <br /><br /> A hybrid car is a vehicle that uses a combination of at least two different fuel sources for its propulsion. Although many combinations are possible, generally when people are talking about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">hybrid cars</a>, they are referring to cars with a combination of a gasoline internal combustion engine, an electric motor, and a battery that powers the electric motor and stores energy for future use. Hybrid cars may also be called gas-electric hybrids. <br /><br /> Some examples of current hybrid cars include the Toyota Prius, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/honda+civic+hybrid" rel="tag">Honda Civic Hybrid</a> (HCH), the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ford+escape+hybrid" rel="tag">Ford Escape Hybrid</a>, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/honda+accord+hybrid" rel="tag">Honda Accord Hybrid</a>, and the Honda Insight. <br /><br /> Due to their special use of technology, hybrid cars receive much higher gas mileage than the average U.S. vehicle. In fact, hybrid cars hold the top spots for fuel economy in their respective categories: two-seaters, compact cars and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mid+size+cars" rel="tag">mid size cars</a>. The clean burning hybrids also receive a one-time deduction for tax purposes in the year of their purchase, as part of the Federal Government's clean air initiative. Hybrids will save you money in gas, but this should be set against what they may cost you in other areas. Hybrid cars are as much as $2,000 to $5,000 more than the standard version of the same vehicle. They also contain parts that might be more costly to repair or replace due to specialized mechanics. The more complex powertrain of the hybrid car also means that you will require a more specialized mechanic when it comes time for repairs. <br /><br /> Hybrid cars also typically have less power that the non-hybrid version. The emphasis has not been put on speed, and the acceleration capabilities are often not up to par with comparable vehicles. <br /><br /> It is important to remember that hybrid cars are a new technology. As with most technologies, they will inevitably improve over time, so it might be best to hold off on purchasing that new hybrid for a little while, until their engineering catches up to their economy. <bio>copyright©2006 hybridcarzone.com Visit for more <a href="<a href="<a href="http://www.hybridcarzone.com">http://www.hybridcarzone.com</a>"><a href="http://www.hybridcarzone.com">http://www.hybridcarzone.com</a></a>/articles"><a href="<a href="http://www.hybridcarzone.com">http://www.hybridcarzone.com</a>"><a href="http://www.hybridcarzone.com">http://www.hybridcarzone.com</a></a>/articles</a> articles. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ While <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/electric+cars" rel="tag">electric cars</a> are a relatively new automotive technology, they are although fast becoming popular worldwide. A conventional car is very different from an electric car. An all electric car is a type of vehicle that uses a mixture of various technologies such as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/internal+combustion+engines" rel="tag">internal combustion engines</a>, gasoline, electric motors, and batteries to run. <br /><br /> All Electric Cars <br /><br /> All <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/electrical+cars" rel="tag">electrical cars</a> are set on batteries that provide electricity to an electric motor in the car, the engine turns the transmission, and the transmission spins the wheels. The attempt here is to increase mileage and reduce emissions as much as possible. <br /><br /> Structure <br /><br /> The structure of the electric car is simple, with the major components being: gasoline engine, motor, generator, fuel tank, battery and transmission. Many of these components are similar, and some even identical to those in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/conventional+cars" rel="tag">conventional cars</a>, but electric cars have different functions and are more convenient for you, your family, and the environment. <br /><br /> Advantages <br /><br /> There are many advantages that are accompanied in an electrical vehicle. Namely, you are saving air of pollutants that would otherwise be spewing into the environment. Electrical vehicles are 100% emission free, and are free of pollution by-products. They provide their power from batteries, solar, or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hydrogen+fuel+cells" rel="tag">hydrogen fuel cells</a>. <br /><br /> Electric cars therefore are emission free, compact, lightweight, and they are three times as efficient as gas engines. They also have excellent ranges, and are safe to drive. <br /><br /> Electrical cars combine the best of both conventional and electric cars for a true winner. They bring more clean energy from the electric motor with the long-range power of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline+engines" rel="tag">gasoline engines</a>, really giving you the best of both worlds. <br /><br /> Shortcomings <br /><br /> Just as there are advantages, there are some drawbacks to electrical cars. Electrical cars tend to require long recharge times. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/this+means+that" rel="tag">This means that</a> you can not use a car while the battery is charging. Electric cars also tend to have expensive costs associated with them, should they every break down outside the warranty coverage. Although, the good news is that over the years the repair costs have significantly come down due to manufacturers better understanding the technology, and have become much more adept to building reliable parts. <br /><br /> To decide your next purchase, weigh the advantages and disadvantages in order to identify what is the best electric car for you. <bio>Still not convinced? <content:encoded><![CDATA[As fuel prices continue to rise, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/alternative+fuel+cars" rel="tag">alternative fuel cars</a> will continue to be a popular topic of discussion. There are many alternative fuel cars available on the market today including ethanol based fuel produced from corn and bio-diesel vehicles that can run on the same oil used to make your French fries at <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mcdonalds" rel="tag">McDonalds</a>, but most of the alternative fuel cars on the market today are being marketed as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">hybrid cars</a>. <br /><br /> Hybrid cars are alternative fuel cars, because they combine an electric power source with a fuel source to better a vehicles <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gas+mileage" rel="tag">gas mileage</a>. Alternative fuel cars have been around since about the same time as the invention of the car, but the market leaned heavily toward fuel only vehicles, because of the power and speed they were able produce. Previously the hybrid alternative fuel cars would only get up to speeds of around 25 miles per hour and the time it would take was around 10 minutes to get there. <br /><br /> The automotive industry is investing a lot of money into alternative fuel cars due to the rising costs in fuel and the increased pollution caused by common vehicles. The technology of hybrid alternative fuel cars has become very complex and each manufacturer uses the hybrid portion a little differently on each car. Some hybrid alternative fuel cars use the electric portion to provide an extra boost to the cars engine while running or when starting the car. Other hybrid alternative fuel cars use the electric portion to shut part of the gas motor down if it is not necessary to use it. <br /><br /> The more recent hybrid <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/alternative+fuel+vehicles" rel="tag">alternative fuel vehicles</a>, such as the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/honda+civic+hybrid" rel="tag">Honda Civic hybrid</a>, still had drawbacks due to the minimal power they had available, but some of the newer <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+vehicles" rel="tag">hybrid vehicles</a> on today's market including the V6 Honda Accord offer power and fuel saving with a higher mile per gallon ratio. <br /><br /> Being able to maintain power and increase gas mileage is a large focus of the automotive industry in being able to manufacture better hybrid alternative fuel cars. The hybrid line is also carrying over into trucks. Hybrid trucks offer a slightly higher gas mileage without the loss of power and also offer an electrical source for power tools right from the truck. <br /><br /> The future of hybrid alternative fuel cars is unknown, but there is a high potential that the fuel source most commonly used (gasoline) will be eliminated to make room for lower costing products and more readily available products. The future hybrid alternative fuel cars will potentially be able to get even better gas mileage and power and they will reduce the pollution produced. <br /><br /> The starting price for alternative fuel cars is around $20,000. The demand for alternative fuel cars is high, but the production of them has not caught up with common vehicles, which has kept the price up. In the US, the government offers a tax incentive if an alternative fuel car is purchased and is also investing money into alternative fuel cars. Alternative fuel cars will continue to be a popular topic for anyone who commutes and they will continue to evolve for years to come. <bio>For more information on hybrid cars and alternative fuels, visit <a href="http://www.alternative-fuel-car.com">http://www.alternative-fuel-car.com.</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Environmental issues have never been in the spotlight as much as they are today. Consumers are becoming much more environmentally conscious and companies are scrambling to appease them. This is also very true of automobile companies and this trend has lead to the development of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+car" rel="tag">hybrid car</a>s</a>. <br /><br /> As the name suggests, hybrid cars are just that -- hybrids. They do not run on one specific type of propulsion or fuel system. Rather, hybrid cars can typically use at least two <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/propulsion+systems" rel="tag">propulsion systems</a>. While many systems have been investigated, the most common hybrid cars are those that can run on either gasoline or electricity in the form of a battery. Most recently, hybrid cars have been manufactured which can use an ethanol derivative, commonly termed Flex Fuel. <br /><br /> Inventors have long been conducting experiments to create hybrid cars, without success. In fact, the first experiments were conducted in the 19th century when manufacturers were attempting to phase out steam-driven vehicles. The first successful hybrid car wasn't created until the turn of the 20th century, but it was more than 90 years before the hybrid car was released for public sale. <br /><br /> Typically, hybrid cars contain the main components of an everyday gasoline-driven car. There is a fuel tank, a transmission and a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline+engine" rel="tag">gasoline engine</a>. However, today's hybrid car also contains electric mechanisms such as a battery and an electric motor. In some cases, the battery of the hybrid car is powered by solar energy. That way, the battery can recharge itself during the day. Some owners of hybrid cars prefer to switch propulsion systems depending on whether it is day or night. Amazingly, recent developments in hybrid cars have allowed for the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kinetic+energy" rel="tag">kinetic energy</a> created by the gasoline engine to be used to recharge the battery. <br /><br /> Hybrid cars are riding a wave of popularity. Most of the major car companies, including Toyota, Honda, and even Lexus, have introduced their own hybrid cars to the automobile market. With their smaller <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline+engines" rel="tag">gasoline engines</a> and reduced output of emissions, hybrid cars appeal to any socially responsible individual. The decreased size of the engines in hybrid cars have also led to new, sleeker designs and the incorporation of much lighter materials. So, the efficiency and power are quite satisfactory for the typical user, with hybrid cars reaching a horsepower of as much as 90. With the advancements in modern technology, it can only be expected that the hybrid cars of the future will be more efficient, cheaper and in great demand. <bio>John Francis Amberden is a regular article contributor on many topics. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ If you have been in the market for a new car recently, you may have seen advertisements and articles about the new hybrid cars. These automobiles sound quite attractive on the surface, since they can get up to 20-30 more miles to the gallon than their <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/traditional+counterparts" rel="tag">traditional counterparts</a>. Many of the big auto manufacturers have jumped on the new hybrid car bandwagon, including Toyota, Honda, Lexus and Saturn. But what are these new hybrid cars and what can one of them do for you? <br /><br /> A new hybrid car combines two different power sources that work together to create an engine that is incredibly fuel efficient and much less polluting than the typical <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/gasoline+engine" rel="tag">gasoline engine</a>s of today. A small gasoline engine is found in the new hybrid car that is designed for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/maximum+fuel+efficiency" rel="tag">maximum fuel efficiency</a>. In addition to the gasoline engine, there is an electric motor that is powered by batteries located inside of the car. These batteries are recharged through the running of the car, alleviating the need for an elaborate charging system at home and limited use of the car. The new hybrid cars combine the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/best+of+both+worlds" rel="tag">best of both worlds</a>. You get the long-running, easy maintenance of a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/traditional+gasoline" rel="tag">traditional gasoline</a> engine. You also get the environmentally friendly, low fuel requirement of an electric motor. The result is a new hybrid car that will run efficiently and cleanly on gas and electricity. This concept has made these new hybrid cars a popular choice for many who are in the market for a new vehicle. However, the technology is still new, and the supply is still greatly limited. <br /><br /> Today, there are only a handful of the new hybrid cars on the market. They come in a variety of manufacturer names, and in a choice of styles, including SUV's and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/compact+sedans" rel="tag">compact sedans</a>. However, it is not easy to find these types of cars at many locations, since the supply was bought up rather quickly after they made their appearance on new car lots. The good news is that plans are in the works for even more car manufacturers to make even more models of these new hybrid cars in the months and years to come.It is possible that the new hybrid cars will gradually take their place as the most popular vehicles on the road. Keep your eyes open for the hybrid cars at the auto dealers in your town or city. <br /><br /> For information on buying and selling new and second hand cars and bikes visit <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for India's leading automobile portal <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[A <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/conventional+car" rel="tag">conventional car</a> uses one fuel source; commonly either petrol of diesel, a hybrid car is different because it works by making use of two fuel sources, if a car makes use of two fuel sources it falls into the category of a hybrid car. The most common two forms of fuel being incorporated into <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">hybrid cars</a> by the manufacturers are electricity and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/conventional+fuel" rel="tag">conventional fuel</a>. The electricity which is used to help power a hybrid car is generated through a battery, when this new technology was new; the car owner had to plug in the car into a power source to recharge the battery which was very inconvenient and awkward if you ran out mid-journey, but now car manufacturers have developed new technology which enables the car to regenerate its power without having to plug in the battery into the source. As with everything there are advantages ad disadvantages to owning a hybrid car, these are highlighted below.<br><br>Advantages of Hybrid Cars<br><br>With the world's supply of natural fossil fuels running out, it is essential that alternatively powered cars are designed and manufactured in order to slow the demand on our natural resources. So far <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/there+have+been+many+attempts" rel="tag">there have been many attempts</a> to create vehicles which run on alternative power, the hybrid car has been so far the most successful and has even gone into mass market, and this has resulted in a high demand for hybrid cars around the world. Because they do not solely depend on fuels such as petrol and diesel it lowers the cost of refuelling, with a hybrid car it is common to get much more miles to the gallon thus reducing your fuel bill. Hybrid cars also incur a lower road tax rate which is another financial saving involved in owning a hybrid car. There is also the moral issue, hybrid cars are much greener than <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/conventional+cars" rel="tag">conventional cars</a> because the emit much less <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuel+emissions" rel="tag">fuel emissions</a> and they reduce your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/carbon+footprint" rel="tag">carbon footprint</a> which is getting pretty much out of hand all around the world, this has given car manufacturers greater incentives to design and produce these types of vehicles.<br><br>Disadvantages of Hybrid Cars<br><br>You wouldn't think there would be much disadvantages involved in hybrid cars considering their financial and moral advantages, but there are a few as with everything. The initial cost of purchasing a hybrid car can be very expensive, sometimes a couple thousands of pounds more expensive than conventional cars. If your hybrid car breaks down it can be very expensive to repair as they require specialist's knowledge, and in addition to that the parts can be very hard to source, so again turning out very expensive compared to conventional cars.<br><br>If you are the type of person who can look past those disadvantages then you can enjoy many benefits of running a hybrid car, you will also doing your bit to improve the quality of the environment and hopefully save some money in the long run, there is no doubt you will be future proofing your car as we will probably see an influx of hybrid cars coming onto the market in years to come.<bio><a href="http://nationaltransportllc.com/personal-car-shipping.php">Personal Auto Transport</a> <a href="http://nationaltransportllc.com/personal-car-shipping.php">Transporting Your Vehicle</a></bio>]]></content:encoded>

The difference in up front cost between a hybrid and its traditional counterpart is often between $1200 and $7000. Thats a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wide+gap" rel="tag">wide gap</a>, and can be enough to leave you wondering if its worth it. <br /><br /> The good news is that if you act fast and purchase your new Hybrid car before the tax credits phase out in 2007, alot of that upfront additional cost will come back to you in the form of a tax credit. Meanwhile, you will enjoy long term savings on fuel costs. <br /><br /> Did you know that as of 2006, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrids" rel="tag">Hybrids</a> account for only 1% of new car sales in the US? As gas prices rise, the ratio will likely change as people seek to cut costs out of rising fuel prices. Unfortunately, if you wait too long you will no longer be able to take advantage of the tax credits that are being phased out. If you are considering purchasing a Hybrid car, you are better to do it now. <br /><br /> The study, conducted by Consumer Reports assumes that you keep your Hybrid car for several years, long enough to notice the difference in cost of filling up. Of course, the more you drive to work, school, or on vacation, the faster and greater your savings will add up. <br /><br /> If you are researching Hybrid cars, be sure to check out <a href="http://www.hybridrevolution.org" >http://www.hybridrevolution.org</a> This site lists updated information on all makes and models of Hybrids available and soon to be available. <bio>Amber Lowery is an author and webmaster. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hybrid+cars" rel="tag">Hybrid cars</a> are starting to gain a modicum of popularity in the world market and this popularity seems to be growing. Current fears regarding climate change combined with rising costs of gasoline have led to great public interest in hybrid cars although this interest has not entirely yielded huge sales at present. This has led to many people wonder about the future of hybrid cars and this future is based on a variety of factors. <br /><br /> The future of hybrid cars will always center on the state of ethanol as ethanol remains the active component within the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/internal+combustion+engine" rel="tag">internal combustion engine</a> process that makes hybrid cars possible. Since ethanol derives from corn, the status of corn farming will always have an impact of the future of hybrid cars. This can be a somewhat curious status to predict because corn is also an important food source for many people and if corn supplies are directed towards <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fuel+production" rel="tag">fuel production</a> there is a possibility that an unexpected negative impact can result from reduced food supplies. For example, in Latin America <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/civil+unrest" rel="tag">civil unrest</a> almost developed when the production in ethanol threatened to cause food shortages. Because of this, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ethanol+production" rel="tag">ethanol production</a> was slowed down. This is not to say increased <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/production+of+ethanol" rel="tag">production of ethanol</a> will always cause food shortages because a process can always be set in motion to correct any potential hazards. <br /><br /> Ultimately, the future of hybrid cars will be based on <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/marketplace+demand" rel="tag">marketplace demand</a>. In other words, if there is adequate demand in the market place for increased production of hybrid cars and these cars sell and continue to sell strong, then the future of hybrid cars will be strong. Of course, there will always be a number of factors that will contribute to the success or failure of hybrid cars in the marketplace. One of the factors will be cost. This includes the cost of the car itself and the fuel costs associated with the car. At present, a hybrid car would save people a great deal of money in both those areas so this is a huge positive for the potential of the cars. The other area that will contribute to the success or failure of hybrid cars is sales and promotions. In other words, a solid advertising campaign would need to be set in place in order to stimulate public interest in the cars. Considering the skill of many ad companies, this should not be a problem and the future of these cars will look bright. <br /><br /> For information on buying and selling new and second hand cars and bikes visit <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for India's leading automobile portal <a href="http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php" >http://www.bharathautomobiles.com/index.php</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>
