There are many people trying to be a writer. They keep practicingand#8212;which is goodand#8212;but sometimes they are lack of guidance. Thus, their goal to be a professional writer gradually deteriorates.

This must not happen if one has made a decision to be a writer. When there is a strong will, thereand#8217;s a way.

To avoid your will from fading away, here are some tips that you can try doing:

and#8226;Join writing clubs

By joining this club, you meet many people having the same goal or at least hobby with you. You can share ideas, talk about your script, discuss details about it such as your writing style, setting, plot or characters. Gathering with these people helps you strengthen your motivation and desire to be a writer and one thing for sure, youand#8217;ll get as much support you need.

and#8226;Participate in some creative writing workshops

Joining the workshop, you will be trained to work on your writing in better ways. You will be experimenting a lot with words and writing style. This of course enhances your skill. Speakers or instructors in workshops are mostly professional writers. That way, you can learn a lot from their experiences which normally are shared during the course. Also, learn from experienced writers. Read their biography to get more inspiration.

and#8226;Believe that there is no such thing like writerand#8217;s block

Some writers stop writing by using these words, writerand#8217;s block, as an excuse. They keep saying that they donand#8217;t know how to continue the story. So what? Write another story, then. Make a new one and put aside the old one. The point is, you need to keep writing no matter what. You can always go back to the old one, anyway.

and#8226;Enjoy it

Things are easier when you enjoy it. Even if you plan that itand#8217;s going to be your profession, it doesnand#8217;t mean that you have no right to enjoy it.

Keep learning.
Writers block is one of those mysterious ailments that is blamed for late assignments, missed deadlines, and failed dreams. Some people claim it is merely a myth while others find it plagues their writing.

As someone with more than two decades of professional writing, editing and teaching experience I feel quite strongly that in 99.9 percent of reported cases of writers block are nothing more than a chimera. In my opinion, far too many would-be writers spend far too much time and energy on finding the right computer, program, paper, pen, location, mood-setting music, and the like before they can begin writing when that time and energy would be much better spent on simply getting down to the business of writing. These would-be writers treat their muse as something delicate and breakable, something as elusive and fleeting as smoke.

I know from years spent in the hurly-burly of newspaper reporting and snatching moments to write between deadlines and dinner dishes that a muse worth keeping is made of much tougher material and in fact may benefit from some abuse.

Most often writers block, or what is commonly referred to as writers block, is caused by one of three problems--lack of preparation, lack of training, and lack of development. Lack of preparation is often caused by not creating an individual writing process that can take advantage of your writing strengths and help overcome your writing weaknesses. Lack of training is similar to athletic training--you need to warm up and work out on a regular schedule to keep your writing muscles in top condition. Lack of development simply means that your particular idea may need more time to percolate or perhaps you are not ready to tackle that particular topic at the time.

I have three recommendations to help you work through writers block. First is to simply write through it. Give yourself permission to write garbage and focus on simply creating a really rough draft. Often once you stop worrying over all that is wrong with your writing the words will begin flowing again.

A second method of dealing with writers block is to get moving. Take a walk or hike. Do something physical away from your office or desk and do not let yourself return to the scene of the crime (or writers block) until several hours have passed. You might be surprised what your brain works out in the interim.

Finally, exercise and challenge your writing muscles with writing prompts and exercises. Sometimes simply changing the pace of your writing or your subject matter can be enough to help you work through your difficulty.

Remember, every writer experiences some form of writers block from time to time but you do not have to make a mountain out of a molehill. Working out an effective strategy to circumvent writers block when it strikes is one of the most important skills a real writer can develop. <bio>Deanna Mascle shares more tips and strategies for Writing Help with her Writing Journal at http://wordcraftonline.com </bio>

I hear it all the time from my students and at the seminars and workshops I lead. The writers that I work with are excited to work with a andquot;realandquot; writer. Most people define a andquot;realandquot; writer as one who is published. Therefore I, with three published novels and innumerable newspaper and magazine articles under my belt, certainly qualify.

However, the longer I am involved in the business of professional writing and the teaching of writing the more I question that definition. For me, being a andquot;realandquot; writer is much more about a state of mind rather than a state of being. I believe very strongly that you need to become a real writer before you can become a published writer for I know that while most (if not all) published writers are real writers that the reverse is not necessarily true. I have known many real writers who have not yet been published but I believe they will be some day -- if they just stick with it.

Real writers are made. No one is born to be a writer although many real writers are born with a drive or need to be a writer and this is certainly a help during the difficult times and challenges that all real writers face. A real writer requires five essential tools.

The first, and most important, is a unique writing process. In order to write well and effectively not to mention to grow as a writer, you must develop a writing process. A nonexistent, or inefficient, writing process can greatly hinder your ability to write but a writing process tailored to your unique strengths and weaknesses can make your writing stronger and easier.

The second element goes along with the development of your writing process. This is learning your strengths and weaknesses as a writer. What is the most difficult part of writing for you? What is the easiest? The more you know about your own writing then the better equipped you are to take advantage of the areas where you are strongest and to work on the areas where you are weakest.

Another essential element to becoming a real writer is criticism. Writers need to develop the skills necessary to be critical of their own work and to edit effectively. Most real writers also have a support network in place, such as a critique group or critical reader, to assist with this process. Real writers also need to be readers. Writers must read a variety of authors and types of writing in order to learn more about the language, its structure, and its varied uses. Reading provides inspiration in terms of ideas but also language use and vocabulary. Real writers love language and words and cannot get enough of either. Real writers are readers.

The final essential ingredient for a real writer is a strong work ethic. Real writers practice their craft on a regular basis (usually daily). Some writers only write a few hours a day while others spend many hours writing. The length of time is not as important as a regular writing schedule that is only altered for major holidays or life-threatening illness. Even if you can only carve out an hour a day that is enough time to write a novel if that is your goal. The important part is making your writing a priority and giving your writing muscles a regular workout.

If you want to be a real writer then you must work on these five essential tools of the writing trade: individual writing process, knowledge of strengths and weaknesses, criticism, reading, and work ethic. Once you have mastered these five tools of the trade then you are on the way to becoming a real writer. <bio>Deanna Mascle shares more Writers Resources at http://word-craft.info and in her Writing Journal at http://wordcraftonline.com </bio>

What is the soul of a story? Some people say the plot, some others say the characters. I say, it's both.

But now, I'd like to talk about characters.

How do you create a character?

Here are some ways used by writers out there in creating the characters in their story:

=95 Go with the flow

Some writers begin with the first few lines. As long as they can get something interesting for the first line, the rest will follow. The character's personality grows at the same time the writer builds the plot. It is not actually intentionally created. Some writers like this method because, for them, the process of writing is full of magic. It seems like it's their hands and mind working together in their subconscious mind. This kind of method is normally used by professional or experienced writers

=95 Concept the details

Some other writers prefer to deeply know the characters. They must know the whole details about this `person.' They make a list of all the details about the characters. The list contains name (full name and how you call them), age (time and date of birth), height, weight, skin, hair and eye color, hair style, parents', spouse, children and siblings' name, address, phone number, educational background, job, good and bad habits, favorite food, book, movie and music. For the previous type of writer mentioned above, this method might seem boring. It seems like all the excitement is gone with the list. But for those preferring this method, it is a good way to build the story, along with the plot.

=95 Use someone they know

Some other writers prefer to just use a figure they know. They use all basic information about the model, their life, their job, their personality, etc. This is the less creative way in constructing a character.

Try one of those three tips that you feel most comfortable with. Or, try all three then decide which suits you most. <bio>David W Richards is a happy father of two kids who enjoys writing so much.
If you are trying to write an invitation to an important event or celebration, don't let yourself struggle with finding the perfect invitation wording all on your own. There are several great but perhaps unexpected sources you can use to help get the right invitation wording for your needs.

The first source of great invitation wording, although perhaps not the most practical for everyone, is to hire a professional writer to help you write the invitation wording. A professional writer is, obviously, a professional who is trained and able to help with all your writing needs. You should have no problems entrusting even the most serious and elegent invitation wording needs to a professional writer. You can find professional writers in your area in the phone book or by doing an iternet search.

Another great source of invitation wording is to talk to people who have done invitations like yours before. For example, if you are trying to come up with the right invitation wording for your wedding invitation, than you would do well to talk with other brides and grooms who have gone through the process of finding the right invitation wording for their own weddings. Think about people in your life who have already experienced the events that you are now walking through and utilize them as a resource. You will be so glad you did and they will most likely be so glad to help.

A third possible source for help with invitation wording is to hire someone online. There are so many online sources of writers that are usually available within a day of making a request for their services. Do a search for the particular kind of invitation wording that you need and then hire the best writer for your needs. You can also look online for sources that may already have samples of invitation wording that will be perfect for your needs. If this is the case, you can often purchase already written invitation wording at a small charge.

The point is that invitation wording isn't something to be taken lightly especially when you are planning events that are important to you. No amount of time and effort is too much when you want your invitation wording to be just right. So take your time, think through your options and then make the best choice for yourself and your needs. Use the resources that are available to you and don't be afraid to check out several resources before choosing the one that is best for you. <bio>Analeese Burnabaker has learned a lot from twenty five years of being an event planner.
It's no newsflash that writers love what they do -- writing. Whether they're writing children's books, science fiction novels, Harlequin romances, or feature articles for various magazines, you can usually find a writer with a pen in her hand or keyboard keys at her finger tips.

That's a good thing, too. Without writers, not only would the world lack entertaining and engaging fiction, but we'd also be without educational resources such as textbooks, and even the catchy writing we see on advertisements.

Good writing doesn't come free, and neither does good health -- well, good health insurance, that is. Regardless of how rewarding writers find their writing careers, unless they're employed full-time, for example with an established newspaper or magazine rather than writing as freelance writers, chances are their writing careers aren't offering any kind of health benefits. Medical costs usually come out-of-pocket for freelance writers.

The good news is that freelance writers don't have to go without health insurance. Having a writing career also doesn't mean purchasing an individual insurance policy is the only option. Since writing is a career that will always be in high demand, many people have gotten together over the years and formed several writing organizations.

The option to purchase a health insurance plan through these writing organizations is only one of the various benefits offered.

Writing organizations usually offer health insurance plans that are much cheaper than individual health insurance plans. This is because writers who purchase these health insurance plans will pay group, rather than individual, rates.

Sure, purchasing an individual health insurance plan is always an alternative, but for writers who take advantage of writing organization benefits, purchasing an individual health insurance plan can actually be a last resort. By researching and finding the best writing organization for them, writers can take advantage of group health insurance rates through the writing organization. A writing career doesn't have to mean expensive or non-existent health insurance! <bio>http://www.myquoteguide.com/Car-Tips.shtml http://www.ezquoteguide.com/home http://www.ezquoteguide.com/car/ </bio>

One common element whenever human beings gather is the need to talk and share experiences. Often that need turns into something a little more fun, a little more dangerous -- gossip. Gossip is often fun but it can also be dangerous because it spreads quickly (because it is fun) and often distorts or even completely avoids the truth. Gossip creates myths in many fields and professions, and the field of writing is especially prone.

The top five myths about writing are:

Myth 1: Writing is easy for some people. Let me tell you that is just about the biggest myth going. I have been a professional writer for going on three decades now. I also know many other professional writers of various ages, experience, and income. I don't know a writer that will tell you that writing is easy. Writing is brutal, hard work and there are times when I think it would be easier to simply open a vein as Red Smith said. However experience and practice can make many writing tasks easier. There are some writing tasks that I can almost accomplish on autopilot because I have written that specific format and/or topic a lot.

Myth 2: Writing requires talent. I won't lie. Talent can certainly help and talent is what separates the great writers from the good writers. But the truth is that talent is not enough to make a writer great or even good and talent is not a necessary requirement to be a good writer. Writing is a skill that can be learned, developed and honed. If you practice your craft, if you read the writing of others to learn more about your craft, and if you seek and accept guidance and suggestions about your writing then you will improve and grow as a writer. Dedication harnessed with talent can create amazing results but if I had to pick just one then I would go with dedication. You can always increase your skill level through dedication.

Myth 3: Writing isn't a useful skill. I have made my living as a writer for my entire professional life but even if you don't intend to make your living with words you will need this crucial skill. There simply isn't a profession that does not involve writing. Perhaps the form will vary, but written communication is the cornerstone in every professional field. Your writing ability will often impact landing a job as well as advancing in your career. Today written communication is even more crucial in professional and personal relationships.

Myth 4: You can't make a living as a writer. I can remember when I told my father that I wanted to be an English major in college. He was very worried that I wouldn't be able to support myself. The truth is that I have never had trouble finding a job and today I own my own business because of this flexible and important skill. Not only can you make a living as a writer but writing is an essential tool for many other careers and professions.

Myth 5: Writers block is alive and torturing writers as you read this. I'm not dismissing the difficulties inherent in dealing with writers block but whenever I talk with writers purportedly suffering from it they fall within two general groups. The first group actually creates their own block by insisting on the perfect place, mood, or alignment of planets in order to write. This is beyond ridiculous. One of the many benefits I gained from years of newsroom experience is the ability to write in almost any condition or mood. Deadlines will teach anyone how to give writers block short shrift. The second group I have more sympathy for as their problem really is internal in nature. Usually the problem is that the particular story (whether fiction or nonfiction) they want to tell is not yet finished cooking in their brain. In this case, while the writing may be stalled I don't agree that it is blocked. The writer must listen to that inner voice and respond appropriately. Sometimes the idea needs more time to percolate and sometimes more research and/or planning is necessary. Once the proper adjustments are made the writing will begin to flow again.

Don't let your writing fall victim to these five myths about writing. <bio>Deanna Mascle has been writing professionally and teaching writing for more than two decades.
I have been writing professionally for more than two decades. I have worked as a professional writer and editor for newspapers, books and magazines for local, regional, and international audiences. My primary financial support has always been either professional writing (or editing) or the teaching of writing. In fact, my initial foray into writing for the Internet was not intended to be a profitable venture but rather a way to express myself when I made the transition to teaching writing full-time. I knew that after decades of writing daily that I would need that outlet. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that my hobby could actually earn more than my professional ventures? That is why I encourage my students and my writer friends to explore Internet writing for fun and profit. There are three good reasons for writers to spend at least a sizable chunk of their writing time writing for the Internet.

First, and foremost, if you are a writer then you need an audience. If you are reading this article then you know there is a huge audience accessing their reading material via the Internet. Unlike the reading audience of traditional printed materials, the Internet-reading audience is growing exponentially. More and more people are forgoing traditional newspapers, magazines, and books to subscribe to ezines, web pages, blogs, and RSS feeds. If you can find your audience on the Internet, then that is a very good reason to write for the web.

Another good reason for writers to transition to the web is that is where the money is today. While money can be made through the traditional avenues of publishing books, selling articles, or working as a writer for hire it is getting more and more difficult for established, proven writers to make a living and extremely difficult for newcomers to break in at a livable wage. However writers can start up their own business fast and cheap or work for hire to learn the ropes and build up their nest egg. Trying to do either of those things in the traditional publishing world will not find success.

Finally, or third, there is a niche for everyone on the Internet. Most traditional publishing methods are limited to a specific region due to the cost of printing and distribution. However neither is a consideration on the Internet, so writers can reach audiences around the globe. This means that what may seem a rather small niche (of say people who collect dachsund sweaters) may well find their audience is hundreds, thousands, or even millions. That means there is a need for articles and publications for these folks. As an avid dachsund sweater collector yourself you are an ideal writer for any publications currently serving this niche and if there aren't any then you have a wide-open field to start your own.

These three simple reasons should be enough for any writer to consider writing for the web. The Internet is a great place to break in and get started as a professional writer and the Internet is an even better place for the established pro to profit. <bio>Deanna Mascle shares more writing advice with her blog and newsletter Word Craft Online at http://WordCraftOnline.com </bio>

Whenever you gather writers together they talk about writing. There are many different types of writers. Those who prefer to compose in long-hand or can only write on an old-fashioned manual typewriter. Those who write to music, demand complete silence, or create best surrounded by noise. You have the writers who must plan and outline before they can begin and those who find even talking about a project before it is drafted can stifle their creativity. But one of the most controversial divisions among writers is about whether writing is a skill, craft, or gift.

I admit that I like to stir the fire a bit because I can argue all three points and depending on how my own writing is going at the moment I may find that one viewpoint carries more weight for me personally.

I know as a teacher of writing that writing is a skill. I have taken people, young and old, who loathed writing and believed they would never be able to write -- and provided them with basic tips and tools to become good basic writers. I have taken good basic writers and given them the support and direction they've needed to become skilled writers. I've watched skilled writers with practice and determination become proficient writers. I have seen this in the classroom, at writing conferences, and in newsrooms. I have witnessed this transformation enough to know that writing is a skill that can be taught and a skill that can be learned.

I know as a writer, editor, and reader that writing is a craft. As the definition reads to craft is "to make or produce with care, skill, or ingenuity". A skilled writer can capture our interest and convey information, but a writer can also craft a story, poem, or essay that touches our emotions as well as our brains. For those who have gone beyond simply skilled to be craftsmen and craftswomen they can rely on their knowledge, experience, and instinct to create writing that does more than simply delivers -- it also sings.

I know as a writer and reader that writing is a gift. Some writers simply possess a special quality that allows them to step beyond and above the huddled masses. For some it is a special ability to shape words into images and ideas and for some it is a unique vision of this world (or another) that speaks to our souls in a way others cannot.

Are writers born or made? Many people argue that some gifted writers are born, but I am not convinced. Perhaps you could have some predisposition but I believe that writers are made. They are made in the rocking chair when Mother reads "Goodnight, Moon"; they are made under the cover with a flashlight when you simply must finish "The Hobbit" for the first time; they are made when you proudly pocket your first library card; they are made when you fill your first notebook; they are made when you submit your first poem, article or story for publication; they are made when you receive your first rejection; and they are made when you turn the computer on every day to write.

I believe some writers are supremely gifted but even so does that mean it was a gift given to them whole or was it a gift developed through years of reading, writing, talking, and thinking about words?

So, I believe, writing is all three -- a skill, a craft, and a gift. Some writers find their ability spans all three while others never progress past the level of skill. <bio>Deanna Mascle has been teaching and writing professionally for more than 20 years. If you want to work for pay today, it is possible that you can do so. You might even be able to write as many articles as you want to write.

"$1.00 Per Article - As Much Work As You Want"

Yes, you too could be on the road to a very lucrative career if you could write a few hundred articles a day.

Let's see, if it takes me 45 minutes to write an article because I know something about the subject already then I could do 32 articles in a day - if I don't sleep. It just might work if I can be guaranteed no interruption.

And at the end of a marathon day of writing I might have earned $1.33 per hour, which is well below the poverty level.

You many wonder who would possibly agree to work for these wages.

Most of these jobs go to either new freelance writers who don't know any better or to writers from developing countries who find this wage to be better than what they may be capable of earning in their own country.

Many webmasters are willing to accept this work and either retool it or use it as is.

The problem for many website visitors is that the English often used is not "Americanized" English and is often filled with mistakes.

Reputable websites refuse to cut corners and are anxious to find qualified and dependable writers who can take care of their writing needs. In most cases websites are willing to pay well for a writer who can provide a good fit for their needs.

Some of the most experiences freelance writers can earn $250 or more per hour. However, in these cases it is important to note that they are full-time and have factored what they believe to be the actual number of hours per year they will actually be able to bill clients for their work and set their hourly fee accordingly.

The fee these writers receive from clients help offset those hours when they have no writing work.

Most freelance writers do have a day job and any writing they do for clients provides a supplemental income. In these cases clients find a lower price for the work, but may not find a delivery time that is as quick as a full-time freelancer.

For a client that plans well, this is rarely an issue. Most qualified freelancers find they have plenty of work and at a price that they set and can live with. <bio>Scott Lindsay is a web developer and entrepreneur.
Many believe that they can become a writer if they were given the chance. However, it is not as easy as some people would like to believe to be a writer. For the most part the life of a writer is difficult and stressful. Getting noticed by the publishing community is nearly impossible and your book must be prolific and unique to even shake a possible publishing deal from an agent.

The main problem that people have when they begin writing is the fact that they do not know where to start. This is very common among new writers as the process of writing can be confusing to those that have never attempted it before. This is why there are now so many places that offer writers resources in an attempt to garner the hope for the next generation of authors to hit the world's bookshelves. These places hope they can foster the dream of writing for many people and bring about the best in the new literature that will be available to the next generation.

If you are considering a career change to author then it is best to start out small. Before tackling a novel, which can take years to complete, try the short story market. For all intents and purposes a short story is nothing more than a very short novel and gives a new writer the ability to get their feet wet. Learning to create interesting characters and plots is all part of the game. For this it is best to join a short fiction forum. A short fiction forum is a discussion area for writers of all walks of life. New and old gather to discuss the in and outs of writing short fiction. Most often you will find that there are places to have your work critiqued and also get some helpful suggestions on things like endings and plot structure.

Another valuable resource for writers is the new software that has hit the market. With writers in mind many software designers have brought out programs that help the writer to organize ideas, create plots and also manage the characters involved in the story. The programs are very easy to use and offer the new writer a chance to keep everything straight and they are far superior to the standard word processing programs. There is much value in software packages like these especially for the new writer. The best part is that many of them are free and can be downloaded right from the internet.

There are many resources available to writers the world over and they are easy to find. The many websites that are dedicated to writers and writing are invaluable tools in helping the new author learn the craft. <bio>You will find more from this author at: http://www.arts-mag.com </bio>

Are you a new writer struggling to get ideas for the articles you need to write? If so, you are not alone. It takes time and practice for any writer, no matter how good or how well trained, to learn to come up with good article ideas quickly. So do not be discouraged. Instead, learn from the advice of other writers.

I can give advice about article writing because it is what I do.

My first bit of advice is simple: write about what you love. Any time I come to a stand still about things to write about I go back to the things I am passionate about. I may not be able to write a very convincing article about why all children should watch professional wrestling (because I don't believe it is true) but I may be able to write an amazing article about the importance of families eating dinner together at the end of a long day (because I believe it is true and important). Article writing must come from things that matter to you. Reflect upon the things you value and let those give you ideas for writing.

Another simple piece of advice I'll give about writing articles is to read. That's right: read. Every single good writer I know is a consistent reader. Why? Because we can learn from reading the work of other writers. It is one of the most valuable things any writer can do. Reading keeps us involved in language and even fuels new ideas for article writing. So when you're stuck just pick up a magazine and read an article or two. Don't be afraid of copying. The more you read the less chance you have of copying something you've read.

It is important to think about your audience before you begin writing an article of any kind. It is always wise as a writer to try to write articles that will somehow connect with your audience and affect their lives. Just as you want to write about things that matter to you, so you should write about things that matter to them. No one will read articles that they could care less about. So look for ways to learn what people care about most. Do surveys or talk to your friends that read articles. Readers are the best source for writers.

Article writing can be fun and exciting. Just take your time, relax, and enjoy it.
Have you ever wondered why a writer chooses a pseudonym or pen name? Is it possible they believe that they are more important than other writers are? Do they demonstrate their views of superiority by simply choosing to rename themselves?

The truth is, there are a multitude of valid reasons for an author to select a pen name and very few have anything to do with pride.

For instance Mary Ann Evans was published under the name George Eliot simply because female authors had little success in her era. She utilized a pen name to gain acceptance from the reading public.

Publishers may suggest a pen name as a means of marketing your work to a larger audience. If your name is hard to pronounce or doesn't quite roll off the tongue, a pen name might be suggested.

For some writers the use of a pen name may be tied to the desire to remain somewhat anonymous. With the advent of so many technological advances it makes sense to many writers to utilize a pen name in an effort to avoid unwanted phone calls and emails from fans. Some writers have experienced some form of stalking from overly enthusiastic fans. The use of a pen name makes it difficult for these particular fans to gain contact with a writer.

Many prolific writers may also choose a pen name simply because it is possible to flood the market with your work while discovering the multiple writings had a negative effect on your long term ability to publish. Some writers may choose more than one pseudonym. There are cases where one author is featured several times in the same publication and a pen name is developed for each of the individual writings to avoid overexposure.

A style shift may also be a good reason to assume a pen name. If you gain notoriety for a specific style of writing it may be advisable to choose a pen name for a literary work that is very different from your expected style. This allows you to explore the new style without confusing your readers.

As you can see there are some very valid reasoning behind the use of a pseudonym or pen name. Should you elect to use a pen name for paid work you should visit with an accountant to learn how to manage the specific details related to taxes. <bio>Scott Lindsay is a web developer and entrepreneur.
Writers are an interesting breed of humanity -- they can make us feel joy, sadness, anger and empathy. Sometimes they can cause us to feel all these emotions simultaneously.

There are certainly more lucrative methods of gaining an income, yet everyday thousands of individuals will sit down at their keyboard pounding out a story that may never actually be published.

There is a creative energy required to create a meaningful story. It is hard to invest that energy into a story if there is a feeling the story has no chance of success, yet writers will do so.

What motivates a writer to spend their time and talents on something that may bear little fruit?

The answer is found in a quote from author Isaac Asimov, "I write for the same reason I breathe -- because if I didn't, I would die."

For many writers the reason stems from the fact they have a story in their mind that won't leave them alone until the story is drained onto the written page only to be replaced by a new story that requires telling. The story might be for the author alone or it might be for a larger audience.

Many writers are not in the market to be famous, they simply agree with the sentiments of François Mauriac, "Each of us is like a desert, and a literary work is like a cry from the desert, or like a pigeon let loose with a message in its claws, or like a bottle thrown into the sea. The point is: to be heard -- even if by one single person."

When there is a drive to say something important it is also important to have some hope that your words were 'heard' by someone who was encouraged or challenged by those words.

Sometimes the joy found in writing is simply in reaching the end of your story. Famed Novelist Tom Clancy stressed, "Success is a finished book, a stack of pages each of which is filled with words. If you reach that point, you have won a victory over yourself no less impressive than sailing single-handed around the world."

Most writers do not begin writing with the hope of becoming incredibly wealthy. They begin because they often have no choice. Writers will rarely receive back even minimum wage for the overall body of work they produce, but it is a burden they carry gratefully and are willing to allow others to consume their work one tasty thought at a time.

For many writers this is success enough. <bio>Scott Lindsay is a web developer and entrepreneur.
The content of your site is basically its heart. You can have flashy graphics and a good layout, but if you don't have content that's both relevant to your site and interesting to visitors, it doesn't mean anything. Basically, your content should describe what your site is about and it should also be clear what your site has to offer, including products or services. One way to make your web site content interesting is to write articles, because if well written, they can catch your visitors' interest and keep them there long enough to take a look at your products as well.

Good web site content lets you tell people what the benefits are of your web site. In addition, good content and good articles can drive traffic to your site. With more traffic, you may earn more from your site and make it more profitable. Whether or not your site is for profit, the best marker for making sure your site is successful is how much traffic it gets.

How do good content and good articles get you traffic? Simply put, many search engines rely on keyword and keyword phrases of your particular subject matter. They use them to assign page rankings to your site, which denotes how high your web site is going to be in search engine rankings. If your content contains enough keywords to get a high ranking without overdoing it so that search engines shut you out (since this is viewed as cheating), that's a perfect mix.

To get the best rankings, have well written articles available on your site that incorporate keywords and keyword phrases properly in their content. Similarly, your site's content not included in articles should do the same.

If you don't know how or don't have the time to write the articles yourself, there are writers who will do search engine optimized articles for you. An Internet search should provide plenty of resources for you. These writers have a lot of experience doing this and they usually charge only a small fee for this work. They can be regarded as experts in the search engine optimized article writing field. Utilizing them can greatly increase traffic to your site.

In addition, these writers can write content and articles that will entice your visitors to come to your site and stay awhile because what they read will be interesting to them. This generates more traffic to your site, but it also keeps visitors at your site longer, and perhaps they will be encouraged to buy something from you the longer they "hang out" on your web site, if you are indeed selling a product or service.

Many sites can offer you these services via their staff of well-trained and professional writers. To find a writer to suit your particular writing need, simply do a search in a search engine for them, using a particular phrase, such as "content writers" or "article writers." Once you hit "enter," you should come up with a long list of sites that provide exactly these services.

It may very well be that the top sites listed in your search will be the best ones to use, since they have done a good job getting themselves placed high in the search engines page rankings. However, be sure that you see samples of work and shop around a bit before you choose. You will also want to get a good idea of how much it's going to cost you. <bio>Trey Thomas is a frequent contributor to PLR Article Source. He is also the co-author of the popular new eBook.
There are many different forms of online writing assignments which web content producers take on these days. Ranging anywhere from one page articles to academic papers of 100 pages or more, there is a wealth of opportunities available to web content writers. One type of web content production which more and more individuals are expressing an interest in is ebooks. For those who are new to the topic of ebooks and are curious how to create ebooks while fending off any potential episodes of writers block, the following will provide some helpful hints on the subject.

Write About a Subject Which Is Not Too Obscure

One of the ways in which writers block can strike an ebook writer is when the individual chooses a topic which is simply too obscure in nature. Perhaps the topic is so new that it hasn't been published that often or perhaps it is simply something which many are not that interested in. This is not to say that you should choose a topic which is overtly mainstream, simply keep the fact in mind that obscure topics may lead to writers block and frustration throughout the process.

Brainstorm Prior to Writing the Ebook

When wondering how to create ebooks without being susceptible to writers block you should keep the tip in mind that brainstorming prior to starting to write the book is a wise idea. By brainstorming about your topic and taking notes on your findings, you will discover that you have a wealth of information right at your fingertips. Should you ever come to a lull in the writing process, simply take out your notes and continue with the writing.

Read Up on the Subject

The more information you have when you are creating an ebook the less likely you are to experience writers block. Therefore, when wondering how to create ebooks without the nagging episodes of writers block, remember to read up on the subject matter both before and during the writing process. Having new ideas in your head and really knowing the truth behind your topic will help you to avoid writers block. With that said, you should always produce an original ebook yet gather pertinent information to give you a good background on your ebook topic.

When You Think of New Information, Write It Down

Some individuals who write ebooks have to be at their computer desk in order to construct new ideas and subject matter for their virtual book. On the other hand, creativity may strike others at any time. For the latter group of individuals, it is extremely important to stop what you are doing immediately and write down your ideas once they come to you. This will help to provide you with fresh and pertinent ebook material and prevent you from becoming the victim of writers block while sitting at your desk.

No matter whether you are lying in bed at night or shopping in a store when an ebook subject matter idea strikes you, try to find a pen and paper in order to write down your thoughts. This will pay off in the long run should you find that writers block occurs and you are unsure of what to write.<bio>Rake In Real Cash 24/7 With Your Own Ebook Business In A Week From Now Using Ebook Money Machines 'Step-By-Step' Guide That Will Show You The Way To Building Your Ebook Empire Online!
User friendly email newsletter templates work for the one who is offering the newsletter, because they are easy to learn how to use; are attractive to potential customers and clients; and are affordable.

But probably more importantly, these email newsletter templates are customer/client friendly: they have large enough fonts, use a logical organization, have a few colors to distinguish entries and headers, and have linking capabilities so the readers of the newsletter can read complete articles (as just the teaser might appear in the body of the newsletter), can go to the webmaster's site to read the newsletter in a different format, or can visit related links (items and sites alluded to in the articles, for example).

I subscribe to numerous writers' newsletters, as they are the best for helping us freelancers get jobs, avoid the scam artists and deadbeat clients (who take writing product and run without paying), and learn more and better ways to write, run a writing business, etc.. One of the reasons beyond these that I choose to subscribe and read the ones I do is because they (the webmasters) clearly use decent email newsletter templates. I speak of this as one who is aware of the necessities of decent email newsletter templates that have high readability, that are "user friendly", if you will.

Let me give you some examples of newsletters that are fantastic for all of the above reasons and more. Angela Hoy puts out a newsletter every Wednesday called Writers Weekly. Moira Allen distributes http://WritingWorld.com's newsletter for writers.

Krista Barrett issues an award-winning newsletter from Writer Gazette. Dave Copeland issues a daily newsletter for freelance writers, which one can get by visiting http://freelancewriting.com.. And Dan Case offers a Writing for Dollars newsletter, which has many of the features writers seek.

And also every Wednesday, Jenna Glatzer puts out a freelance writing newsletter from her site, <a href="http://AbsoluteWrite.com">http://AbsoluteWrite.com.. I mention Jenna's newsletter last as she is the most engaged with her readers, always opening each and every issue with a letter discussing what she is doing, what we are doing, what the world of writers are doing. As well, Glatzer stays current with user-friendly formats.

That is, she updates the look and feel of the Absolute Write website, writer forums, and newsletter. Therefore, she seems to be constantly on the lookout for email newsletter templates that facilitate reader-needs, goals, and intentions.

Her sites and newsletters, always evolving, always progressive, have a massive following...for the reasons stated in the opening paragraphs above. May you be as oriented, well-intentioned, and successful with your own newsletters! <bio>Choosing professional looking email newsletter templates can have a positive impact on your business. http://emailnewslettertemplates.info/ </bio>

If you own or manage a website or are at all involved in internet marketing, it is important to have rich content on your site, to make sure that you attract positive attention and higher rankings from the search engines. The more and better attention that you get from the major search engines, the higher your rankings are. The higher your rankings are the more traffic you will get to your web site, which means dollar signs to you.

Whether you use your site to make money from advertising sponsors (Google AdSense), affiliate programs, or are selling or promoting a product or service that you yourself have to offer hiring article writers to create content for your website is a good idea. Hiring content providers is a better use of your time, as well, so you don't have to spend your spare moments writing articles for your site.

Hiring article writers can only help you in your endeavors. Having keyword rich content is important, but content also requires a bit of research and has to be written in a certain way, so that people understand and are able to easily grasp the information that the writer is trying to put across. All of this information should be in favor of what you are aiming at or what you have to offer through your site, and professional ghost article writers know how to do it best!

Ghostwriters may be useful for more than writing articles; they are also good for writing press releases, white papers, and even intra-company literature for communication between professionals. If you have a business that would benefit from putting out a newsletter, it would be in your best interest to hire a content provider to do this one for you, as well. They are worth what they stand to get you in return! <bio>Professor Jeff has been inspiring and teaching students for years.
