Is your dog not behaving? Does your loving pooch have a tendency to jump up on visitors as his way of welcoming them? Are bathroom accidents becoming more frequent from your beloved dog? If you answer yes to any of these questions, a dog trainer may be just what you and your dog need. By all means, do not get rid of your loving dog, hire a trainer and get rid of the bad habits.

Dog trainers specialize in removing the bad habits from dogs. Whether you have an inside or an outside pooch, a trainer will be able to help you. When you speak to your trainer about training your dog, be sure and let him know just exactly what the bad habits are your dog has, that need breaking. Tell your trainer your dog is uncontrollable when you take him for a walk, and that he is overbearing in a welcoming sort of way, to guest that visit your home. Do not forget to tell them about the bathroom accidents either. Do not worry, your trainer will not think of you as a bad pet owner, but rather as one that needs help. That is what trainers are for, to help.

Having your dog trained will make you and him happier. As well as your guest that are frequently jumped on and greeted with an innocent sloppy wet tongue. Once your dog has had a training session with the dog trainer, the trainer will tell you about the new commands and things your dog has learned. Be sure to ask any questions you might have, and take notes on what the trainer tells you, so that you do not have a confused pooch later. Hopefully you can find a trainer that works with you and your dog once he is trained. Ensuring that you know what commands are for what, and when he deserves a doggie treat.

Where are you going to find a dog trainer? Ask around at the veterinarian's office when you take your dog in for check up. Notice the well behaved dogs, and be sure to ask their owners if they used a trainer and how you can contact them. Your veterinarian may even have a recommendation himself. <bio>Article by Jayden Harris owner of Free Dog Trainer Info. Join our newsletter and get free training secrets.
There are many reasons why you might consider hiring a fitness trainer to help you with exercise and advice about nutrition. One might be that you feel you need an expert in the field to help make sure you are doing all your exercises properly. Another might be that you want this person to give you good, effective exercise routines so you can get the most from your exercise sessions. Yet another might be that you want someone to help you manage your dietary needs. All of these are good reasons to hire a fitness trainer, but how do you know if you will be hiring a trainer that will best suit your needs? Here are a few guidelines to consider that will help you make the right choice when choosing a fitness trainer.

First and foremost, you need to make sure that the trainer you choose holds a current, nationally accredited certification in the fitness field. Some of the certification organizations that require a good, solid minimum knowledge base to earn their certification are the "ISSA" (International Sports Sciences Association), the "ACSM" (American Collage of Sports Medicine), the "NSCA" (National Strength and Conditioning Association), and on a somewhat lesser level, but still an acceptable certification is the "ACE" (American Council on Exercise). Some others like the "NAFC" (National Association for Fitness Certification) or the "NFPT" (National Federation of Professional Trainers) are a lot less strict for their certification requirements.

While it is very important that the fitness trainer you choose holds one of the better certifications, it is certainly not the only thing to look for when choosing a trainer. There are a few other things you will want to be sure of to ensure your satisfaction.

One thing to look for is whether or not your fitness trainer has a plan to suit your individual needs. Some trainers get caught in a rut and train their clients with a "one size fits all" approach to exercise and while this may be alright for the raw beginner for the purpose of general muscle and connective tissue adaptation, they need to be able to branch out and have a vision of how to customize exercise routines that are best for your needs. In other words, what do they see possible for you. You might ask the trainer; what kind of a plan do you see for me and how will it benefit me?

Another point to consider is whether your fitness trainer can be objective about your training. Your trainer should always consider your needs during each training session. Sometimes the trainer may need to alter your exercise routine due to an injury or simply because you've had a hard day and do not have the energy you usually have. You might ask the trainer; how do you assess me each day before my session.

One of the most important things, of course, is whether you and your fitness trainer have matching personality's or simply put, you must get along with each other and you must feel comfortable with your trainer or it will be hard to work with him/her. You need to understand what your trainer is trying to do and so your trainer needs to give clear, detailed instructions. Your fitness trainer should be open to what you have to say and be able to listen to and respond to your concerns.

If you have made the decision to invest your time and money into an exercise lifestyle, and you are enlisting the help of a fitness professional, make sure you choose one who you know will give you everything you need to give you the results you want in a safe, enjoyable way. <bio>Jim O'Neill gives you tons of valuable information on the subjects of weight loss, fitness, and nutrition to make it easy for you to live a healthy lifestyle.
With so many dog trainers out there, it can be hard trying to choose the best one for your dog. Trying to determine which dog trainer is the best qualified to train your dog can be a difficult task.

The American Dog Trainers Network recommends the following criteria for choosing a dog trainer for your dog:

Reputation: Recommendations from your vet, other reputable trainers, friends that have had their dogs trained, etc. can help a lot in deciding which trainer to go with.

Experience: You should look into each potential trainer's background before deciding on your dog's trainer. Years of experience and areas of expertise are just a couple of things to look for. A good, professional dog trainer won't hesitate to answer your questions, so be prepared to ask a lot of them. Afterall, your dog is part of your family.

Training methodology: Reputable dog trainers care about every dog's welfare. They will know that harsh or abusive handling methods are counter-productive and not good for the dog in general.

Love for dogs: The best dog trainers have a general love for dogs, or they wouldn't and shouldn't be involved in that line of work. You'll know a great trainer by his or her joy of living and working with dogs.

Extensive behavioral knowledge: Dedicated trainers keep up-to-date on all of the latest training methods by attending dog training and animal behavioral courses, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc. whenever possible. Make sure you inquire about any recent educational courses that the trainer has attended.

Teaching and communication skills: Dog trainers that have good teaching and communication skills make the learning process easier, quicker and more enjoyable for the dogs.

Affiliation with reputable organizations: You can always tell a good dog trainer by the organizations, associations and clubs that he or she is affiliated with.

Ethics or profit?: You should find out what motivates a potential dog trainer. Is he or she in it strictly for the money, or for their love of dogs?

Unless a dog trainer comes recommended by one or more reputable source, it really is a case of buyer beware. Anyone can call themselves a dog trainer. Do your homework when choosing a dog trainer for your dog. Your dog is part of your family, so you should put as much effort into choosing a trainer as you would in choosing your dentist. The wrong kind of training could damage your dog for life. <bio>Chris Geldof is a dog lover and owns a dog-related website.
Bodybuilding is not just a sport; it is an investment in your body and your life. If you think it is as simple as getting in a few reps at the gym every now and then, you'll be sadly mistaken when you can't see results or you begin to injury yourself. Instead of putting yourself through that torture, make sure that you know what to do and how to do it in bodybuilding first. Here are some tips to getting started with bodybuilding.

* Find A Great Gym. While you can purchase a membership to many gyms, that doesn't mean that it is a good one. If you are serious about bodybuilding, you'll need more than just a standard gym offering yoga. You need a gym that is packed with the equipment that you need and all of which is in good solid working condition.

* Find A Trainer. The best way to bulk up is to use a professional trainer. If you can afford the investment, interview a few people and find the one that challenges and motivates you the best. Sure, you know what needs done and you know you can do it by yourself, but when you use a professional, you'll see results faster and safer.

* Safety is necessary no matter what. While you want to push yourself for the next set of reps or you want to go just a little longer, you need to realize that too much can tear muscles, and possibly injure them permanently. This is destructive of what you are trying to do. Develop a personal plan, hopefully with the help of a professional, to help you reach your bodybuilding goals.

* Eat right. Not only do you need to eat a good amount of food, but it is also important to eat the right foods. Your body will crave meats and proteins as it builds muscle. If you don't give it good stuff, though, you'll hinder its ability to expand and grow.

* Dedicate yourself. Not only is it enough to get to the gym, work with the trainer and eat right, but you'll also need to make sure that you are 110% motivated and dedicated to becoming the bodybuilder that you want to be.

Successful bodybuilding can only come from hard work. <bio>Michael Lewis is an editor at http://www.healthylifeadvice.com where you can find more articles about weight loss and bodybuilding. </bio>

Dogs are known to be the guardians of their keepers. They are usually very protective and they can be very aggressive towards strangers and those who threaten their keepers or trainers. That is why many people acquire dogs for the purpose of just having someone to trust and rely on for protection. Many people purchase dogs due to a goal of having an unhesitant attacker against possible threats. However, there are times when dogs may attack people not just because of a possible threat. There are moments when dogs attack just out of fear or anger. This is when attack dog training should be done.

Attack dog training is the process of training a dog to control when to attack. This type of dog training allows the professional trainers and dog owners to teach their pet how to respond to certain types of situations when danger is at hand. Usually, the training is focused on honing the dog's obedience to his master or trainer. This allows the master or trainer to tell the dog when to act and attack and when to stop from doing so. Attack dog training also teaches the dog about certain situations when a command to attack is no longer necessary and instead, the attack should be done immediately-without hesitation- because the master, trainer or the dog itself is clearly in danger. Also, attack dog training teaches the pup about the mechanics of fighting and protecting. It orients the dog about the many different defense actions and offensive procedures such as barking, biting, pouncing, and many more, along with its effects on the target.

If you are not a professional dog trainer, then, you should not attempt to provide the attack dog training by yourself. The process of teaching dogs when to attack varies, depending on the dog's capabilities. Regardless of the chosen teaching process however, this type of training is not just any regular training that requires just perseverance. Rather, attack dog training needs extra firmness, strength, and commitment for the dog, but especially for the trainer.

The process of dog training should be taken one step at a time, with clear intervals and timing. The course usually starts with the basic lessons of obedience. After the obedience training, the trainer should then proceed with training the dog to socialize with other people and pets. The dog should learn to interact with others not through aggression, and they should learn to follow their trainers/keepers even when distractions are present.

Afterwards, the dog should be familiarized with the concept of an "agitator". The dog should be able to identify an agitator as someone who is a possible threat to the dog and the keeper/trainer. Familiarizing the dog with the idea that the agitator is a stimulator for aggressive action allows the dog to retract and respond to dangerous or threatening situations. Then, whenever the dog responds to the stimulant, the trainer should prompt the dog to chase and fully attack the agitator. The usual attack that is expected is a bite in the arm. If the chase and the attack are successful, the dog should be given rewards and praise. Punishment training should not be an option for attack dog training because such can confuse the dog regarding the concepts of threat and agitator. <bio>James Kesel, MS http://www.dog-training-careers.com </bio>

They are man's best friend, but what can you do when you have a dog, you love it, but it just won't stop chewing on your best shoes, or polishing its nails on your precious sofa?

Regular training We train them to become, not only more sociable, but also a reliable company. This can be done by taking your dog to a professional dog-trainer, or simply at home, following instructions from books. Since the first option requires time to take the dog to a trainer, to go check on it, and take it back home, most people choose to house-train their pets. However, the second option has many disadvantages, since you are not a professional, and you do not have experience. Many even think, that after the dog/cat learned where "to go out", the training is over. You could not be more wrong.

On-line training There is a third way, a new one, but as efficient as taking your dog to a trainer, but less time consuming. On-line training. Don't think of putting your dog in front of a PC and let it learn from there. Through on-line training I mean visiting sites specialising on dog training. The following few paragraphs will be a guide to a few of these sites.

www.perfectpaws.com Gwen Bohnenkamp owns this site. She has been working with pets since1985 and also, she instructed the first course in Animal Behavior. The site itself is easy to navigate, easy to read, but most important it contains valuable information on training your pets, may they be cats, dogs or even guinea pigs. In addition, you can find tips on how to get closer to your companion, and how to become a certified dog-trainer. The subjects are well categorized and easy to get. If you want, you may purchase online books written by Gwen, herself.

www.dogproblems.com The renowned dog trainer, Adam Katz, publishes this site. It covers almost all aspects of dog training, you can buy Katz's book, which apparently, is the best-sold book of its type on the internet, and join a forum where the topic is no other then DOGS.

www.sitstayfetch.net This is the easiest to use site I could find about dog training. The "mastermind" behind this site is Daniel Stevens, a dog trainer, who wrote the book "SitStayFetch!" On this site you can find testimonials of people who have used his book and the way it helped them.

Conclusion However, you may choose to train your dog, bear in mind one thing: an untrained dog can be more of a nuisance than a friend. So, please, help your dog help you. <bio>Gemma Earnshaw is editor of http://www.pawprintdogtraining.com which provides information and resources on dog obedience training. </bio>

How many fitness personal trainers do you know who have a bulging tummy, flabby butt, a little arm muscles with scanty knowledge and skills required of a professional fitness personal trainer and yet they are very successful personal trainers? Some of these fitness trainers probably do not even have a qualified personal trainer certification not to say a string of qualifications. I am sure that you have met a few of them if you are in the personal training industry. Why do people trust these trainers who are out of shape and non certified personal trainers?

Now, take a good look at yourself in the mirror. You are a graduate of several renowned fitness personal training institutions with a string of recognized certifications. You are a strapping handsome hunk with well toned beautiful muscles on all the right places with an almost a perfect body fat ratio but your fitness personal trainer business is falling far behind others who are not as well qualified or look as good as you. Why is that so?

Well, the answer to that question is that they know what marketing is all about and you do not. It is as simple as that. You see, even if you have wonderful products and services but nobody knows about it or is convinced enough to buy them, then you will have zero sales. That is a fact of the business world. The same principle is also applicable to your personal training business.

Big businesses spend thousands and millions of advertising dollars in marketing their products and services knowing it will bring in the clients and profits many more times than what they spent marketing and advertising. Well, you do not need have to spend that kind of money in your personal trainer business but by just having the knowledge on how to market yourself and then turn that knowledge into action should be you a steady influx of clients.

Your prospective clients really do not know how good you are or how qualified you are, so how are they to know that you can really help them achieve their health and fitness objectives?
When looking for a trainer, you need to decide what your goals are. They may change depending on what you and your horse decide to do, but at least have an idea of what you want to do. Do you want to show or just take lessons? Do you want to trail ride and just want to learn how to control your horse and ride better?

WHERE to look for a trainer

You can start with your vet, horse-related magazines, local tack store, friends or the classified advertisements in your local paper. Tack stores usually have a bulletin board, where they allow barn owners and trainers to post announcements when they have stalls available and if they're accepting new clients. If a tack store has been established for a while, they can usually tell you about the local barns, trainers and their disciplines. Compile a list from everyone and give the trainers and/or barns a call.

Pleasure or show?

Showing your horse is quite different then just riding for fun or taking lessons. If you're serious about showing and winning it requires a different mindset then taking lessons and going trail riding or hanging out with your horse. Its also much more expensive. Show barns usually charge more for boarding, but usually have a trainer available if the barn owner doesn't train and show horses. Make sure the trainer has shown in the discipline you're involved in.

VISIT THE BARN

After you get a list of trainers, call them to set up an appointment. Go to the barn they work out of. Check out the facility. If the barn isn't in great shape, don't worry. Instead, look at the horses -- are they well fed and cared for? Do they have plenty of grass and turnout? How's the fencing?? Is the barn neat and orderly? Does it look and smell clean?

MEET THE TRAINER

It's helpful to watch a trainer teach a lesson, so try to schedule a time when a few clients will be at the barn. Talk to him or her in between lessons. Find out about their personal riding experience. How long did they show as a kid or adult? Where and on what circuit? If they still show as a professional, that will take away from their time to teach. And if they're on the road with advanced students a couple months a year, they may not be the right trainer for you. And find out how long they've been teaching. If they're new to teaching, they may have more time for you and your horse. Just because they're new, doesn't mean they don't have talent. Ask the trainer for references and if they're reluctant, don't enlist their services.

And finally, remember finding the right trainer is a personal choice. You need to like and trust the trainer you choose. They should be willing to answer your questions about their training philosophy and what they're doing with your horse. Lastly, go with your gut instinct. If you click with a trainer who's relatively unknown, that will turn out to be a better choice then going with a well-known trainer that everyone knows, that you don't click with. Riding and having a horse should be fun. If you do your homework beforehand you'll have more options and make the right choice for you and your horse.<bio>Edna X Wilson is a writer for www.HorseClicks.com, popular classifieds of horses for sale, used trailers and ranches for sale.</bio>

Choosing a trainer is a very important decision and one that requires a fair amount of research and consideration. How your trainer works with both you and your dog will impact your relationship with your pet both during the trainings sessions as well as in the future. Many owners have hired a trainer only to find out they don't agree philosophically with the methods that the trainer uses or are completely opposed to some of the exercises the trainer uses.

To avoid these issues be sure to answer the following questions about your trainer:

1.	What qualifications does he or she have?

There are numerous training certifications and credentials that trainers may hold depending on where you are located. Check with other breeders, groomers or even vets and other dog owners to find out what trainers are in the area and then research their credentials on the internet or from the various credentialing bodies.

2.	What references does the trainer have?

Does the trainer have any particular awards or recognition for their school or training program? Are they endorsed by a kennel club, breed organization or other organization? Most trainers will have references that will allow you to contact them and talk to regarding their training process.

3.	Does the trainer use only positive methods or do they use punishment-based training?

Most trainers no longer use any punishment based methods and do not encourage yelling, physically punishing or using corrective devices such as choke collars, shock collars or other potentially harmful devices with the dogs. Clicker training, behavior modification training and reward training methods are all positive based and works on a dog's natural behavior and the relationship between dog and owner.

4.	Will the trainer let you sit in on a class or private session?

This is often the best way to see how you will do under the trainer's guidance. Is the trainer positive to the owners and the dogs, or does he or she seem to become upset, frustrated or even angry with the participants? Would you be comfortable in the same environment if you were treated that way?

5.	Finally, does the trainer offer flexible scheduling and what is the cancellation or no-show policy?

Many trainers have a 48-hour cancellation policy and a non-refundable no-show policy if you simply don't come to the class. Other trainers will refund you the cost of lessons that you don't attend. Some trainers will insist that you attend a make-up class before you can proceed with your original class as everything builds on the previous lesson.

Be sure to meet with the trainer in advance and feel comfortable with them before you commit to lessons or leaving your dog in their care. In addition find out if they need your dog to be housed with them during the training or if the dog will remain with you. <bio>Four out of five dog trainers recommend shopping at http://www.ohmydogsupplies.com for dog beds and dog feeders. </bio>

An elliptical trainer has become one of the most popular forms of exercise equipment to date. This newer form of exercise equipment is fast replacing other common equipment such as treadmills. There are many reasons for this; one very appealing and popular reason is that the elliptical trainer has less impact than that of the treadmill. When you exercise on your elliptical trainer you, you are avoiding ground impact. This means that your joints generally do not suffer any type of abuse, which can lead to pain that other equipment can cause.

Another high point for the elliptical trainer is that anyone using this trainer will receive a great cardiovascular workout that carries a large efficiency rate at the same time. An elliptical trainer allows you to receive a full body workout, without the need for further additional equipment. Other exercise equipment generally only allow for a workout on one section of your body, meaning to get a full body workout you would have to invest in another piece of equipment. Furthermore, with an elliptical trainer you receive a better workout, which burns calories, tones your body, and works your heart, with less effort.

When shopping for an elliptical trainer there are certain things you should look for. First, consider your budget and look at the price. The well-known saying, "You get what you pay for", applies here. Yes, a good elliptical trainer can be costly, but you will save money over time by purchasing one with high quality and will last. You should also look for the features that the trainer provides. For example, the stride length, you will want at least a 21" stride length. Additionally, look for an adjustable incline, arm handles for upper body motion, how quiet the machine is, that the equipment comes with adjustable resistance, and that the motion is smooth in feel.

Consider safety when you are purchasing your elliptical trainer. Do not purchase any machine that does not provide you with periods of cool-down and warm up. You should also avoid a trainer that provides you with handrails that will get in the way of your work out. Make sure the handrails are there, but out of the way and not preventing you from gaining the maximum workout in the experience.

Avoid any elliptical trainer that does not provide you with an excellent warranty program. Your chosen warranty should cover labor for one full year and parts for anywhere between one to three years. Look for a piece of equipment that has a console that is easy for you to read and understand, as well as one that in virtually maintenance free.

There are many extra features that can come with your elliptical trainer such as heart rate monitor, interactive features that can adjust your workout automatically, and even the ability to connect directly to a website from your trainer. Always make sure that sales staff selling the trainer, is qualified in knowledge and service. You should also test the trainer out before purchase, make sure it is the one you want and works well with you. <bio>Simon Oldmann has been writing about the effects of financial planning on health and mental stability.
So, what makes a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/professional+dog+trainer" rel="tag">professional dog trainer? In order for a person to judge on how each dog is to be handled during a dog training class, they must have experience. This is experience that is more than taking a couple of dogs through the initial rounds. This is the kind of knowledge that is gained from working with all breeds and under all conditions. The nature and characteristics of each dog has to be considered - the training method should be varied in order to meet the occasion.

The trainer has the advantage, only when he/she knows what they can expect and what the dogs' reaction will be. A trainer foresees the dog's next move and then decides whether or not to force the issue or to decrease the demands. It takes skill to know when to be gentle towards a dog and when to be firm. It also takes skill to when to reprimand and when to encourage. A good trainer is has essential qualities that give him/her the capability of coordinating their body movement with every move a dog makes in training and the result is good timing. This is the exact reason why so many trainers succeed and some fail. When a trainer is clear-cut in his actions that's simply because he/she is experienced -- they know what they are doing and so does the dog -- this leads to respect! When a dog gains respect through admiration and not fear, this will bring a positive response. This is proof of a person's one's training qualities.

A dog can not be forced to like obedience but he can be forced to be obedient! The dog trainer should not be a bully. A good trainer understands that all training is every new step becomes easier and easier only if the previous lessons have been thoroughly understood by the dog. Experienced trainers do not fear retracing their steps briefly if it will give a dog confidence. The experienced trainer is also aware of the terrible effects caused by nagging so he/she will avoid it all together. A person who is patient does not become infuriated if results are a little slow in coming. The intelligent trainer thrives in making a dog feel accountable for the correction. Yes, he/she is kind but they are also firm. They will make obedience fun for a pet.

Surprisingly, a good trainer doesn't always make a good training class instructor. Many will attempt to train dogs at home and give private instruction with success; however, when they are in front of a large group, they lack the important qualities of leadership. During the dog training class, its great to be able to work out a single problem, however, one has to be able to solve a whole host of problems at any given moment.

Additionally, the trainer director has to be likable. They must have the respect of his/her trainee. They must have tact and be very patient and broadminded of others. It is not always a piece of cake to train someone on how to accomplish what one is capable to doing on their own. A good training director will never allow the class to be in session for a long time when discussing one dog's dilemma with the owner. He/she never holds back the group for a couple of unruly dogs. Dog owners with special needs must be asked to come before the class begins or stay after the training class is completed for individual instruction.<bio>Article by Kelly Marshall of Oh My Dog Supplies, your top spot to purchase plush dog toys online.</bio>

This article will cover the top 6 reasons you should work out with an Elliptical Cross Trainer. The Elliptical Cross Trainer has become one of the most popular methods of exercise for the reasons you are about to discover right here in this article. This exercise machine has easily risen above that of the treadmill and other exercise equipment because of its overall workout scheme. So sit back, relax, and read on. You will learn the many different reasons that you too should be working out with an Elliptical Cross trainer.

Reason number one -- An elliptical cross trainer provides the user with a workout using weight-bearing exercises. A weight-bearing workout works to improve a wide variety of aspects of your body. For example, by using an elliptical cross trainer you can increase your bone density, improve conditioning, burn calories, and strengthen your muscles. All by using one exercise machine.

Reason number two -- With an Elliptical Cross Trainer you will receive a low impact workout. This is extremely important to anyone who chooses to exercise to maintain his or her health. A low impact workout means you are putting less stress upon your bones and joints while you are exercising. The trainer has pedals that you use during cross training and your feet will never have to leave those pedals. This decreases the amount of impact placed on your body.

Reason number three -- Improve your overall fitness by using an extensive cardiovascular workout. This is one of the key factors that tempt many people to exercise with an Elliptical Cross Trainer. A cardiovascular workout is essential to promoting good circulation and overall heart health.

Reason number four -- With your Elliptical Cross Trainer you will receive a total body workout. From head to toe and everywhere in between, the Elliptical Cross Trainer allows you to work every muscle. Some other exercise machines only work on specific areas of the body, meaning you would need a few different machines for a full body workout. The elliptical cross trainer does that for you with one machine for a total body workout.

Reason number five -- Lose weight with an elliptical cross trainer. Because the cross trainer gives your entire body a workout, with exercise and a proper diet you could find yourself losing weight while toning your body at the same time.

Reason number six -- Maximum results in less time. This is another key factor that lures people to the Elliptical Cross Trainer. Because you get a total body workout, those with a busy life and little time left to spare find that exercising on the elliptical cross trainer provides you with maximum results in less time. This allows you to get the benefits of exercising and still have enough time in the day for other activities.

As you can see, there are many benefits to working out with an Elliptical Cross Trainer. If you find the proper machine, do the right exercises and follow a healthy diet regimen, you will have no problem benefiting from all that an Elliptical Cross Trainer can offer. <bio>Simon Oldmann has been writing about the effects of financial planning on health and mental stability.
The internet revolution has changed the world in many ways. You can now receive just about anything that you want in the convenience of your own home. This includes your personal training regiment.

Exercising is generally not a fun thing to do. Even if you enjoy the activity, the stress of exercising can cause laziness to slowly sabotage your best efforts. If you really want to get into shape, you will probably need a personal trainer to keep you motivated over a long period of time. Anyone new to exercise will also greatly benefit just from having the skills of a personal trainer at their disposal.

You will not be an expert at how to properly conduct all of the exercises need in a full routine. If you don't know how to do them properly, you will just end up with sore muscles and possibly even serious injury from misuse of the equipment. For the price, a trainer is definitely worth it.

Yet, a normal personal trainer will not be ideal for everyone. The cost may be too much or there may just be too many scheduling issues to really make it practical. In these situations, an online personal trainer may be the perfect option. There are many good aspects to receiving your training through a virtual medium.

You can take your workout wherever your life takes you. Most virtual training programs have options for you to load their sessions onto your iPod or other mp3 player. If you plan to travel a lot, this will really come in handy. You can just put on your headphones and go through a bit of your routine in the hotel's workout room, or you can even just pick a clear area in the room for some of the less demanding activities.

You will also have a lot more freedom in actually going through your workout. Not everyone can take out a one or two-hour block from their busy life to go to the gym. There will be times when you'll just have a half-hour here or there, when you would love to have a real workout, but your trainer is busy. If you have an online personal trainer, then you won't have a problem.

You can just head to the gym in your free time and pull out one of the latest sessions that you have. Your exercise routine should be built into your life easily; you shouldn't have to change your whole life just to get a little healthier.

Of course, the proper precautions must be taken when chosen your online personal trainer. You should carefully review their samples and see that your trainer will actually offer you real service. A good virtual trainer is available for questions and discussions and there should be periodic updates as well to make your subscription truly worth the while.

Their credentials should also match up to a normal personal trainer. They need to have real experience and certifications through a real organization, if you don't want their advice to do more harm them good. <bio>Visit us for Fitness at http://www.fitness-answers.com and a free workout plan at http://www.fitness-answers.com/free-workout-routines.html Find out more about a phoenix personal trainer at http://www.fitness-answers.com/personal-trainer-phoenix.html </bio>

Personal trainer schools are available all over the internet, but you have got to choose the best. How do you decide which one is right for you?

If this question is troubling you then answer some simple questions to aid you in your search. Here's a quick guideline to help you in your quest to locate the right personal trainer school. =A0 Choose a reputed training school that's easily accessible. You can log on to the internet and go through the site locator on any fitness website.

Take the cost into account as well. Even though it will pay off later, there is nothing wrong in choosing a school that fits best in your education budget. You can also opt for an online training program. These trainers generally charge an hourly rate of $25 to $50 an hour.

A personal trainer wears several different hats, as they will perform the role of a motivator, educator and coach. To become a personal trainer, you must possess a thorough knowledge of personal health, sports, nutrition, and injury prevention, managing stress and lifestyle changes. =A0

Personal trainers need to have a multitude of inherent skills. A school can only give a finishing touch to your current ability. For instance, a school can teach you how to tackle whining clients, but patience is something you should be born with. A personal training school provides certification that includes 300 hours of education and 200 hours of gym time. =A0=A0Different states have different colleges and one can get enrolled with any accessible location.

The bottom line: if you are willing to do your due diligence, you will be able to attain the status of a personal trainer, no matter what your current background. If you are willing to work hard, are teachable and are committed to this vocation, you will succeed. <bio>To learn more great tips on total gym fitness, as well as how to stay in shape for the rest of your life, try checking out http://www.onlinefitnesstips.com. </bio>

Cybex Arc Trainers are a great piece of fitness equipment. The development of the elliptical trainer has transformed the fitness centers and gyms across the country. The ability to do a full body workout with little or no impact allows you to burn more calories by exercising a larger group of muscles on your body. Elliptical trainers are in many cases replacing treadmills in local gyms and YMCA's. When elliptical trainers first appeared the feel of using this new piece of fitness equipment was compared to running on air. However some users had trouble using the new cross trainers. Probably the largest complaint came in the form of knee discomfort. Almost the entire body motion on an elliptical trainer is through the knee. If you have a preexisting knee injury then the use of an elliptical trainer was at times uncomfortable. Some people would even warmed up their knees on a treadmill prior to climbing on an elliptical trainer. However if you talk to most elliptical trainer users you will find very few complaints. One additional problem comes from users that lean to far forward while using an elliptical machine. This puts undue strain on the back leading to cramps or post exercise back pain. Correct posture while using any piece of fitness equipment is important and this is especially true when using any cross trainer. Cybex has created a new cross trainer called the Arch Trainer that seeks to change the fundamental motion used in most ellipticals.

The Cybex Arc Trainer comes in several models all of which are considered commercial grade fitness equipment. They are priced accordingly with even the in home models exceeding $4000.00. Most people first come in contact with the Cybex Arc Trainer in their local fitness center or gym. Its flywheel is located at the front of the arc trainer just like the older Cybex elliptical trainers. The location of the pedals appears to be located slightly further to the rear of the arc trainer then you would find on many elliptical trainers. Upon mounting the arc trainer you almost immediately find that you are standing in a more upright position. As you begin to make your stride you will feel your hips doing more of the work. Most people find that using the Cybex Arc Trainer is slightly more comfortable then using some elliptical trainers. The incline feature of the Cybex Arc Trainer is really nice and easy to use. A thirty minute workout provides essentially the same workout as a top quality elliptical trainer with adjustable incline features. It appears to work all the same muscle groups that an elliptical trainer impact. The Cybex Arc Trainer handle bars work in the same motion as your feet do. Basically as the left foot goes forward so does the left handle bar in a very natural cross country skiing motion.

Cybex Arc Trainers are built to last and have lots of features that make them a premier piece of fitness equipment. The console is nicely setup and it has up to 12 exercise routines with varying resistance levels similar to many quality elliptical trainers. The biggest drawback to the Cybex Arc Trainer is the price. For the average fitness enthusiast it would be a major investment to purchase a Cybex Arc Trainer for in home use. A quality elliptical trainer provides the same exercise benefits as the Cybex Arc Trainer at less that half the price. If you really want to use the Cybex Arc Trainer as part of your exercise program we suggest you look for a fitness center that already has them. <bio>James Kesel < MS. is the publisher of http://www.elliptical-trainer-information.com Elliptical Trainer Information website, We have information on Nautilus, Nordic Track,Life Fitness, ProForm, Tunturi, Schwinn,Reebok, Horizon, Vision elliptical trainers and cross trainers. </bio>

It is a complete cardiovascular workout.

If you are new to exercise, the new balance Elliptical trainer is the best piece of equipment for you because of the advanced, easy to use features. You decide which type of workout you want and at what intensity, and program it into the New balance Elliptical trainer. When you use this trainer to target the lower body, it assists in building leg muscles. When you use the moving handles, you are targeting the entire body.

There are a few things that you need to take into consideration before purchasing an New balance Elliptical trainer. This machine is an excellent source for workout and weight maintenance. However, like all exercise equipment, there are different price ranges.

Determine what your budget is before choosing a model. The basic price starts at around nine hundred dollars, and depending on the features and accessories that you add, it price could be raised into thousands of dollars. Do not be fooled by cheaper imitation machines. They do not offer the same quality or features as the new balance Elliptical trainer. The New balance Elliptical trainer is by far the best piece of exercise equipment that has been introduced to the market in years. It delivers a complete and total workout that has proven to be impact free. Rather than just going in and training the dog.

Because dog training is:

A process of establishing and promoting a proper relationship between the owner and the dog...

And

Developing a way of communicating so that commands are both understood and have meaning...

.... simply traing the dog doesn't cut it. That way, even if he travels, or buys a new home... the dog is still going to respect, respond, bond and want to please his owner. (Once more, it doesn't do the owner any good if his dog does back flips on command, but only for the trainer).

The problem with being ethical and honest about my approach to dog training (or people training, to be more specific)... is that your business model is left open to one very annoying "fly in your ointment."

And that annoying "fly" is the fact that, even though my dog training techniques are easy to master, and work really quickly... there's always going to be a certain small percentage of dog owners who are... well, quite frankly... idiots! <bio>Adam G.
Dear Adam:

My dog (2 years-old) and my mother's dog (4 years-old) have always gotten along very well.

But lately, they've started to fight over certain things. We're appalled by this behavior and immediately break them up and scold them. However, I am concerned and don't know if I am doing the right thing.

Thank you, Danny

Dear Danny:

You need to let them work it out. Every time you break it up, you make it worse for the next time.

I would recommend that you read my book, andquot;Secrets of a Professional Dog Trainer!andquot; You can learn more about it at: http://www.dogproblems.com/secretsbook.htm

It will give you a much deeper understanding of how dogs communicate with each other and with us.

My advice on this issue is to supervise them with a garden hose and a break stick - just in case they start to seriously injure each other. But if both dogs are generally well socialized, it's more than likely just a dominance scuffle that needs to be worked out.

Again, the rule of thumb is to let them work it out as long as the dominant dog is not INJURING the other dog. (Viscous sounds, growling, nipping on the neck, don't count as andquot;injury.andquot;) If you don't heed my advice, then you can still make them get along while you're there, but when you're not, then they must be separated.

And as always, if there is any question or you are still unsure as to whether it's a dominance scuffle or a death feud, then please contact a qualified local trainer who can supervise the situation.

That's all for now, folks!
