I got a call yesterday from someone who opened the conversation with:

andquot;You (KK) have been preapproved for a credit card with Chase. It's at 0 percent for the first 6 months, then 5.9%. No annual fees, blah blah blah.andquot;

I told her I already had a Chase card, and she said that was no problem.

After a 5 minute spiel about all the advantages, I hopefully asked the gal:

So what's the credit line - how much is the card for?

andquot;Oh,andquot; she says, andquot; You mean the credit limit. Well THAT is decided after we get your information, and there's someone standing by to take it from you...Let me transfer you.andquot; I stopped her.

andquot;So, the card is then not really preapproved, is it? I have to give you my credit information, and apply?andquot;

andquot;Well, you are pre-approved...andquot;

andquot;But we don't know how much until after I apply, is that right? It might be nothing, right?andquot;

andquot;Yes...Shall I transfer you now?andquot;

I aked her if she didn't agree that she was reading a script that was very misleading...giving people like me the impression that a credit card HAD been preapproved, presumably for some amount. What is the purpose of a pre-approved (or any) credit card without some credit being offered?

We all know you have to be approved for credit. So to say you've been pre-approved gives the (totally false with Chase) impression that you've been approved for at least some credit, and the only interesting question is, how much?

Actually, I had been preapproved only to APPLY for a card. Big deal.

But that's not all. We've all learned the hard way that each time you apply for a credit card, it works against you on your credit worthiness according to the credit services like Equifax. Have you ever been declined for a card, and one of the top reasons given is words to the effect andquot;too many applicationsandquot;? I.e., you have applied for credit cards too often, in their view. So sorry. But here is Chase (and others, I'm sure) soliciting me to apply again, with the misleading come on that you've been andquot;pre-approved.andquot;

Is it any wonder we don't like listening to telemarketers?

I wasted almost 10 minutes on a fake come on - andquot;you've been pre-approved.andquot;

Shame on Chase and the scripts which brought about the Do Not Call List in the first place.

Can't Chase do better than that? At least dispense with the fake pitches?

I bet WE can do better than that, can't we? <bio>Kim Klaver is Harvard andamp; Stanford educated.
Yes, it's possible to get approved for an auto loan even if you have bad credit. Why? Because auto loans are guaranteed by the car you want to purchase, they are easier to get approved for than other types of loans. Below are some tips to follow if you have bad credit and want to get an auto loan.

Play Low and Ask for Less

Your chances of being approved for an auto loan while having bad credit improve significantly if you ask for less than the car is worth. That's because the lenders want a guarantee they'll get their money back even if you don't pay your loan. They want to make sure they can resell that car for a profit. Don't ask for the full sum of money. Instead make a down payment. That's the difference between car value and loan amount. This will decrease the risk of the lender and will improve your chances of being approved.

Use the Internet to Inform Yourself

Use the Internet to search for the lowest rates. This is the first thing to do, actually. Inform yourself on the loan rates different lenders are offering. If you're going directly to dealerships they will tell you that you can't get a better rate because of your bad credit. Search the Internet and you'll discover this is not always the case and that you can get a lower interest rate even with a bad credit history. Inform yourself then go to auto dealers. You can even get preapproved online, which will give you a stronger negotiating position when you do go to auto dealers. If an auto salesman knows you already have financing, they will take you more seriously and probably offer you better deals.

Repair Your Bad Credit History

If you have a bad payment history, this will have a negative impact on your chances of getting approved for an auto loan. But hey, this is history, right? If your have other credit accounts, be sure to make all your payments on time, at least 3 to 6 months prior to your auto loan request. This way you will prove your bad payment history is a thing of the past and your chances of being approved for an auto loan will significantly increase. <bio>Graham Wellington offers loan advice and is the owner and operator of the loan site http://www.loancentralstation.net. </bio>

Every 18-year-old who has ever tried to get a loan for a new car will tell you that it's hard to get approved for a car loan with no credit. It's even more difficult if you are applying for a used car loan because used car loans represent more of a risk to a lender. However, getting approved for a used car loan with no credit isn't impossible. This article discusses three things to keep in mind when shopping for a used car loan with no credit:

Consider a Co-Signer

The best way to ensure that you'll get approved for a used car loan is to have someone with good credit co-sign on the loan. The lender will list their name first, and that is the person whose credit they will consider when they send the loan to a loan officer to approve or decline it. However, you'll want to make sure that you pay your payments on time because your loan goes onto both yours and your co-signer's credit report.

Have a Parent Add Your Name to Their Credit Card

One of the quickest ways to get credit is to have your parent add your name to their good-credit-reflecting credit cards. This will automatically transfer all of their timely payments to your credit report, therefore giving you good credit. If that parent is not willing to co-sign for you, this may be the next best alternative. This will allow you to appear as though you have some established credit.

Borrow Less Than the Car Is Worth

When you don't have any credit, lenders are going to want to make sure that, even if you don't pay your loan, they can resale the car and get their money back. For this reason, it's important that you take out a loan for less than the car's appraised amount. For example, if the car you're buying is worth $10,000, you'll want to borrow less than that amount. Usually that means making a significant down payment. Making a down payment makes you less of a risk to a borrower, therefore improving your chances of being approved. <bio>Visit Car Loan Sense to view our http://www.carloansense.com online.
If you have poor credit, you may think that you have no chance of getting approved for a car loan. However, car loans are easier to get approved for because they use your car as collateral to secure your loan. This makes your loan less of a risk to a lender. Additionally, there are measures you can take to improve your chances of getting approved for a car loan. This article discusses how you can get approved for a bad credit car finance:

Add Up Your Current Debts

The amount of money you pay each year toward debts shouldn't exceed 30% of your annual income. This includes your car payment. Before applying for an auto loan, add up the total amount you pay toward your debts each year, including the amount you plan to pay on your car. If this amount exceeds 30% of your annual income, you'll need to take measures to lower your debt-to-income ratio. This means that you'll either have to pay off some debts before applying for a car loan, or you'll have to reduce the amount you'll borrow.

Make the Right Down Payment

When lenders consider lending borrowers money for a car, they look at your LTV ratio. They do this by dividing the principal amount you want to borrow by the appraised value of your car. For example, if your car is worth $10,000, and you're borrowing $9,000, your LTV would be 90%. Lenders use your LTV to determine the amount of risk they incur by lending to you. Lenders rarely decline loans with 80% LTV. So, if your car is appraised at $10,000, and you've offered $9,000 to the seller, you may choose to make a down payment of $1,000. This will set your LTV at 80% and improve your chances of getting approved.

Clean Up Your Credit Before Applying

Obtain copies of your credit reports from the three main reporting agencies. Check each report for errors or inaccuracies. Keep in mind that it takes these companies up to 30 days to follow through on disputes. Make timely payments on your other credit accounts in the months prior to applying. Even a few months of timely payments will improve your chances of approval. Finally, avoid applying for other forms of credit. Inquiries on your credit report temporarily lower your credit score. <bio>Visit Car Loan Sense to view our http://www.carloansense.com online.
When you hear the words credit card, you will usually think that it is a great equipment to use for shopping or buying things. Besides, what other method can be very useful to buy things or services without you actually having the money to pay for it at the precise moment?

A credit card will tell you that you should forget about worrying over the things you want to purchase, you only have to worry about the monthly bills that will arrive. A credit card is basically a loan from the credit card company that you have to pay in a monthly basis. So, if you need to purchase products or services but don't have the money for it, a credit card is perfect for you.

However, before you consider getting a credit card, you also have to consider that it can relatively be very difficult to get yourself approved for one. There are a lot of things that you should think about when applying for a credit card. First of all, you need to have a good credit rating first in order to get yourself approved for a credit card. If you don't have a credit history or if you have a bad credit rating, you will find it hard or even impossible to get a credit card.

But, because of the Internet, getting approved for a credit card is easier and much faster than ever before. Getting approved for a credit card online is faster and much more convenient that filling out those forms at home and sending it through andquot;snail mailandquot;. Through online application, you can get yourself approved for a credit card in no time at all.

Unlike the traditional way to apply for a credit card, you will usually have to wait for at least four weeks to hear from the credit card company and know whether you are approved for the credit card or not. Through online application, you can immediately know if you are approved for a credit card or not.

Another advantage when applying for a credit card online is that you can easily correct any mistakes you made in the application form by just pressing the backspace unlike in actual application form that will render the application form useless and will require you to start all over again.

You can also compare different credit cards easily through the Internet. By going to credit card websites, you can compare offers easier than the traditional way. You can shop around for low interest rates and you can also know which credit card is suitable for you.

You can also know the different introductory offers that a credit card company can give you in the Internet in no time at all. If you don't like the offer, you can easily jump from one website to another until you find a good credit card offer. By applying for a credit card online, you can really know what kind of credit card is right for you and at the same time, know the best credit card offers.

Shopping for a credit card is relatively easy through the Internet. If you want instant approval, all you need is to apply for your credit card online. Of course, just like any other forms of applying for a credit card, you will also need to have a good credit rating in order for you to get approved at a faster period of time. <bio>Mario Churchill is a freelance author and has written over 200 articles on various subjects.
Did you know there is a difference between getting pre-qualified for a loan, and being pre-approved for one? Many people are a bit surprised to learn they are not the same. Let's look at the difference right now:

Pre-qualified: Pre-qualification is a very useful procedure for determining how much you might qualify to borrow. An individual can pre-qualify online in a very short amount of time, making it extremely convenient for someone shopping for a loan. Here's how it works: before you actually apply for a loan, you provide some basic information about your income, assets, and liabilities. Experienced online companies often make it an easy procedure to enter the necessary information on their website in a few seconds. Based on the information you have provided, you are quickly informed of how much you might qualify to borrow. Since this is a tool for your benefit, of course, it is to your advantage to provide information that is as accurate as possible. Pre-qualification does not guarantee you of a loan.

Pre-approved: Pre-approval means that you have provided information on your income, assets, and liabilities, and the information has been verified. Your credit report will have been checked out. This, by the way, is why it is a good idea for you to see the exact same credit report the lender is seeing. Companies which help you find the best lender online may enable you to receive a copy of your credit report at no extra charge through their website as well.

Getting pre-approved means that you are likely to be approved for a mortgage at a certain amount.

Getting pre-qualified or even pre-approved doesn't always guarantee that your loan will actually go through. This might be the case, for instance, if there is incorrect information about the loan shopper's economic situation that goes unchanged. Pre-qualification and pre-approval are constructive steps toward getting the best loan, however. They're a positive part of the entire process that leads to a borrower ending up in his or her home of choice. <bio>Matt Schaub and Silas Ellman started ReallyGreatRate with a simple idea: give every consumer the speed and convenience of online loan service, while providing the most personalized financial solutions available.
When you have bad credit, you may think that you'll never get approved for a new car loan. This isn't true. It's actually easier to get approved for a new car loan than a low-limit credit card. The reason for this is because auto loans are secured. There are many ways that you can improve your chances of getting approved for a new car loan with bad credit. This article explains the three best ways:

Get a Copy of Your Credit Report

Before applying for any type of loan, you need to make sure that your credit report is clear of errors. Get a copy of your credit report from all three major reporting agencies and check them for errors or inaccuracies: credit accounts that don't belong to you, late payments that were made on time, credit accounts that are double-listed, etc. If you dispute any inaccurate information at least 30 days before applying for a loan, then you can have the inaccurate information removed from your credit report. This can greatly improve your credit score.

Borrow Less Than the Car Is Worth

If you have bad credit, lenders are going to want to make sure that, even if you don't pay your loan, they can resale the car and get their money back. For this reason, it's important that you take out a loan for less than the car's appraised amount. For example, if the car you're buying is worth $15,000, you'll want to borrow less than that amount. Usually that means making a significant down payment. Making a down payment makes you less of a risk to a borrower, therefore improving your chances of being approved.

Make Timely Payments on Your Other Credit Accounts

In the months before you apply for a car loan, make timely payment on your other credit accounts. Even if you just have a few months of timely payments prior to applying for an auto loan, it will look much better than applying for a loan with recent negative reporting from your other creditors. If you can prove that your poor payment history is a thing of the past, a lender is much more likely to approve your car loan. <bio>Visit Car Loan Sense to view our http://www.carloansense.com online.
Buying a new car and need a loan? Well, if you have ever purchased a used or new car before, you know exactly what to do, however, for those who haven't, you may not realize all that you need to do to get a loan. The first step to purchasing a new car is to check your credit rating. Make sure that your credit rating is in good. Basically, to get approved, you need to have a rating of at least 640.

The lower that you go the worse the rating you have. When it comes to purchasing a new car loan, you will find that your bad credit will hurt you. In fact, you may have to purchase a used car if your rating is very low. Basically what your credit rating does is allows the creditor to assess rather or not you happen to be a low or high risk. Obviously, they don't give out too many loans to high-risk people so you will need to know your rating first when buying a car.

For those who would like a new car, but has some issues in the past with their credit, they will also look at things like your history of employment. If you have a stable job, they are more likely to still get you a loan. You will also want to have a stable residency. If you have lived in the location or state for a long period of time (over a year) than you are a likely candidate for a new car loan regardless of your credit.

When it comes to used cars, you have a 50/50 percent chance of getting approved with a credit check, but with a new car, you will find that there will definitely be a credit check. Many people are unable to afford a new because of their credit check. You will want to make sure you know your credit rating so that you can prepare your co-signer to help you out.

Usually, when you are buying a new car it will take you a couple hours or maybe even days to get approved. If you are careful and take the right precautions you can be approved the first time. Ask your dealer who you should go through because the dealership has made a lot of relationships with creditors. They will let you know who you can go through to make the loan go through. Don't fret if you are turned down. The dealer will re-file your applications with other creditors and someone will approve your application. <bio>James Gunaseelan Writes artcilces andamp; reviews on Automobiles for http://www.bharathautomobiles.com,India's No.1 Auto Portal </bio>

Gone are the days when credit card applications take weeks to be over. Nowadays, credit card applications can get approved instantly. There are so many online applications that you can fill up and send to companies and then it gets approved instantly! There are so many credit card companies that claim that their credit cards are the best in the industry, the one that suits your needs, the one that is very reliable. And you can get it instantly! One way to apply for a credit card is online, at the website of the credit card company. The process is very quick and you get it approved instantly.

Of course, it would take about five to ten days before you will have your credit card in your hands. At least you are comforted by the fact your application has been approved already. And the process will only take you a few minutes.

A few years ago, credit card application takes a very long time. When you apply for the card, the company will take weeks to process your application because they still need to check your credit history. It will take weeks of anxiously waiting if your card will get approved or not. Finally, upon knowing that the application result is positive, you have to wait for a few weeks more just to get the card in your hands.

Technology and business have really improved a lot in the recent years, haven't they? It only takes a few minutes to get your application complete and approved.

One of the great things about applying for an instant approval credit card online is that you have hundreds of possible credit cards to compare until you find what is best for you. Through the internet, you will be able to check the different interest rates, advantages and disadvantages of the credit cards you are interested in.

Everything has limitations and instant approval credit cards is no exception. There is one criterion that instant approval credit card companies look for. Actually, teaser credit cards are targeted to those who have an excellent credit rating. If you do have an excellent credit rating, you will have no trouble signing up for a credit card. However, there is a very tight competition among credit card companies that they are willing to take the risk and approve a less than perfect applicant to be able to keep the business. So, even if your credit rating is not very high, your applications will most likely get approved.

Of course, credit card holders must be aware of the responsibilities of having an instant way to finance their needs or wants. You must learn to control your spending habits and keep track of all the things you buy, as well as your income. This way you will be able to manage keeping up with your financial obligations and protect your credit history. <bio>Luke Cameron is the owner of Credit Cubicle, an online magazine offering advice and articles on Credit and Finance.
You have seen it before. Perhaps you are one of the millions of people who see these words everyday. They come directly to you courtesy of the postal service via your mailbox. These words likely appear in your email several times daily as well. You have been pre-approved for this credit card or that credit card. The mailings are quite luring as well. They offer great percentage rates, excellent balance transfer deals, or even exciting rewards.

However, have you really been pre-approved? Should you take them up on their offer? How could they possibly even know you to pre-approve you? Well, for starters, they get your mailing address in several different ways. Think of all the forms you have filled out either recently or even months ago. These forms are tricky because they can play multiple roles. First, they gather your information for whatever you are signing up for. Then somewhere in that form, there will be something pertaining to receiving mailings and information regarding specials, deals, and sales. AHA, that is where they get you.

Before you know it, these pre-approved credit card offers started filing your mailbox regularly. If you apply for a credit card and you are approved, be watchful, because the offers will start pouring in. If you apply and are denied, they will still come in, all wanting to help you improve your credit. Which type of pre-approved credit cards you are offering will depend on several things.

First, it will depend on where the information came from. If it comes from another form of credit you have applied for, then the type you are offered will be based on this information and your overall credit outlook. Next, it will also depend on your current income bracket. Consider the forms you fill out, many of them will ask how much you make each year or an estimated figure. When you fall into specific brackets, these credit card offers will be designed specifically for your annual earnings.

Your overall credit outlook has a lot to do with your offers. If you are one that is suffering from bad credit, you may receive numerous offers of secured credit cards. Secured credit cards are those that require a deposit. This deposit determines your specific credit line within that credit card. You could never spend more than that, in order to continue to use the secured credit card, you would need to replenish the card. Overtime, if you keep upon payments, you may find that they increase your credit line beyond that of your deposit.

The problem with pre-approved secured credit cards is that you will find that they carry interest rates that are much higher than unsecured and come with little if any benefits at all, such as rewards.

For those in a higher income bracket with great credit, unsecured pre-approved credit card offers will arrive. These are the ideal type of credit cards for most people. These come with various interest rates, depending on the credit card type, company, and your credit, but are typically much lower than secured offers. Furthermore, unsecured credit card holders benefit from rewards, overdraft protection, and other various benefits.

Whether or not you choose to accept a pre-approved credit card offer is up to you, your finances, and your ability to manage. It is always a good idea that you research the company offering you the pre-approved credit card. You want to be sure that you are dealing with a valid, reputable company, and that your personal information is safe and secure. The last thing you want to do is accept an offer from a fraudulent company and putting yourself, your finances, and your credit history at risk. <bio>This article has been provided courtesy of Creditor Web, http://www.creditorweb.com . </bio>

Credit cards are considered as one of the necessities in today's life. Besides, with a credit card, you can literally purchase any product or services without having money in your pocket at all. No longer will you run the risk of getting your money stolen by simply having a credit card.

However, with all the advantages that a credit card can give you, you will find that it is quite difficult to apply for a credit card and getting approved. There are a lot of things you have to consider before a credit card issuer or a bank can get you approved for a credit card.

The first thing you need to know and need to have when applying for a credit card is a good credit rating. Your credit rating is one of the essentials that a credit card issuer or a bank will look at in order to get you approved for a credit card. By having a good credit rating, you will be sure that you can get yourself approved.

However, if you don't have any credit history or a bad credit rating it will relatively be hard or even impossible for you to get approved for a credit card. In order to obtain a credit history or repair your credit rating, you can always apply for a secured credit card.

Unlike an unsecured credit card, it will require you to deposit money on an account. The amount you deposit will be the credit limit for a secured credit card. You will also receive a monthly billing statement like an unsecured credit card.

You have to remember that a prepaid credit card and a debit card are different from a secured credit card. Debit card and prepaid credit cards will never repair or build your credit rating.

One main disadvantage of a secured credit card is that it will usually have a high interest rate than most unsecured credit cards. However, it is also a great way to control your credit card purchases. It is also a great way for you to become a responsible credit card holder and help you prepare to own an unsecured credit card.

Not only that, it will also help you build a good credit rating or help you repair a bad credit rating. With this kind of feature, you will definitely get yourself prepared to own an unsecured credit card.

Owning a credit card will also mean being more responsible for your purchases. With a secured credit card, you can train yourself to be a more responsible credit card holder. This is because, aside from the advantages that an unsecured credit card can give you, there are some people that buy irresponsibly. The feature that a credit card offers will usually tempt people to buy things that they don't really need and will often result in getting into huge amounts of credit card debt.

By first getting an unsecured credit card, you will be sure that you can be a more responsible credit card holder.

So, if you want to apply for an unsecured credit card, getting a secured credit card first is recommended if you don't know what you are getting into or if you want to build a credit history or repair your credit rating. <bio>Mario Churchill is a freelance author and has written over 200 articles on various subjects.
Years ago, people who had a bankruptcy on their credit report were unable to get a decent car loan, if they were able to get approved for a car loan at all. However, today, the rules have changed. More and more lenders are offering car loans to people who've filed bankruptcy. If you have a bankruptcy on your credit report, and you're looking to get a car loan, read this article to find out three things you need to know about getting an auto loan after bankruptcy.

Waiting Two Years Earns You Better Interest Rates

If you need to apply for a car loan earlier than two years after the date that your bankruptcy went through, you'll likely get approved; however, your interest rates will be a lot higher than they would be if you wait two years. After two years, most lenders will see you as less of a risk, and you will qualify for much better loan terms.

A Bigger Down Payment Makes You a More Qualified Borrower

When you apply for a car loan, your lender looks at something called your LTV ratio. LTV is the amount of money you are borrowing divided by the value of your car. For example, if your car is worth $10,000, and you are borrowing $9,000, then your LTV is 90%. 100% LTV's are generally reserved for borrowers with near-perfect credit. However, the lower your LTV is, the more likely you will get approved for your loan. Most lenders rarely decline loans with an LTV at or lower than 80%.

Some Lenders Specialize In After-Bankruptcy Mortgages

Some lenders specialize in loaning to people with either bad credit or past bankruptcies. These lenders will not view you as more of a risk than their other borrowers because all of their borrowers are in the same situation as you are. Your best bet is to shop online and compare interest rates and terms between different lenders. This way you can be sure that you are getting the best deal. <bio>Visit Car Loan Sense to view our http://www.carloansense.com online.
What's Going to Help You Get Approved? - To get 100% financing on your mortgage, that means that you have no down payment, which puts more emphasis on the other factors going toward your mortgage loan. For example, you will need to be stronger in the areas like income, employment, recent payment history, low debt-to-income ratios. If you can strengthen some of these factors you will have a better chance of getting approved. If you can find a home with a low loan-to-value rate, that may also help your chances of getting approved. Search around. Try to find a home that is being sold for much less than the appraised value.

What's Going to Hurt You? - A super recent bankruptcy or foreclosure. Although it is not impossible to get financing under these circumstances, it makes it more likely that you will need some kind of a down payment.

Watch Out For Sub-prime Mortgage Scams - Borrowers with poor credit are often the target of inflated interest rates and excessive fees. With adverse credit history, you can expect to pay a slightly higher interest rate, but make sure you compare at least 2-3 other loan offers to be sure that your interest rate is competitive.

What About After Bankruptcy Mortgages? - You can expect to wait 2-3 years after the bankruptcy discharge date before mortgage lenders will be completely open to working with you. However, it's not impossible to get approved for a mortgage loan before that time, you just may need a small down payment.

Beware of the Pre-Payment Penalty - Mortgage lenders lending to people with bad credit usually tack on a pre-payment penalty to the borrowers mortgage loan. If you are ok with a pre-payment penalty, make sure it is for a reasonable length of time, maybe 6 mo. to a year. You don't want to lock yourself in to higher interest rates for very long. <bio> http://mortgagesanity.com/2007/02/08/bad-credit-mortgage-companies/ </bio>

By performing periodic reviews in your email program, it is possible that you can help prevent false positives from infiltrating your spam filter. Those email addresses which are currently on your approved sender list won't be flagged as spam when you begin to use Postini Email Protection. Although this is true, some unapproved senders are still able to send fake emails with phony sender addresses to get through the filter and put spam in your inboxes. You may be able to reduce the number of messages that get through the spam filters by checking your approved sender lists on a periodic basis - that is, from time to time, preferrably on a set maintainance schedule.

Here we offer some recommendations for Administrators of email mail servers. Following these steps can help administrators reduce the overall amount of spam which is received in their company accounts. In the end, spam contributes to a waste of time in a company, creating an environment where even valid emails are distrusted, breaking down the effectiveness of this important form of business communications. It's also a major complaint among email users, so as an administrator, keeping company emails free of spam can really reflect well on your abilities and value as an Internet professional.

To change an organization in the approved senders list, first select the organization in the administration console. Then, in Org Management, click on the 'Sender Lists' to view the list of approved senders. Finally, select sender and click 'remove' to remove.

To view an individual user's approved sender list, first find users in the administration console under 'Users.' Next, to view the user's sender list, click 'Sender Lists' in the 'User Overview' page. There are a number of factors that should be taken into consideration when planning home improvements. In some situations, contracting the services of professionals, buying tools and supplies are necessary for completion. There can be a strong inclination to withdraw from your personal savings for home improvements, especially if there is a large repair involved that is an absolute necessity. This can lead to a strain a family's financial security. If this is the case, you might want to try to get approved for a bad credit home improvement loan.

Making home improvements are one way to increase the appraisal value of your house. However, if your have a bad credit history, your chances for loan approval will certainly decrease. Banks and other financial lenders take your credit history into consideration when trying to get approved for any type of home improvement loan. The lower your credit score, the more difficulty you will have in obtaining a home improvement loan.

Even though this is not encouraging news, don't give up just yet! You may still be able to qualify for some types of bad credit home improvement loans. Lenders do exist that are willing to approve home improvement loans for persons with a bad credit history, however, possessing sufficient equity in your home will likely be a major requirement.

Unfortunately, bad credit home improvement loans have higher interest rates. But there is a bright side, because if scheduled loan payments are made on time, the credit rating of the borrower will increase provided there are no other negative factors affecting the credit score. After a period of 12 to 24 months of timely payments, you may be able to refinance your bad credit home improvement loan for a lower interest rate.

Here are some excellent tips on ways to get approved for a bad credit home improvement loan and get the lowest possible interest rate for your current credit score:

1. Research Take time to research your available options. Knowing your options will be a large help when it comes to finding the lowest possible interest rates on a bad credit home improvement loan.

2. Recommendations Talk to other people who may have gone through the bad credit home improvement loan approval process. Recommendations from friends or co-workers could save you hours worth of your own research time. You may get information from people who have completed the process that you might not learn otherwise.

3. Multiple Lender Quote Comparison Always get more than one lender quote. You should compare home improvement loan quotations from no less than three or four lenders before attempting to make a decision.

4. Good Rapport Contact the lenders with which you think you have the best chance of getting an approval for a bad credit home improvement loan. Once a good relationship has been established, lenders may be more likely to give you a lower interest rate.

Improving your credit score as much as possible before you apply for a loan is the best way to get approved for a bad credit home improvement loan. Your bad credit home improvement loan should be seen as an opportunity to both increase the value of your home as well as improve your credit score in the future. <bio>Would you like to make improvements to your home, but are worried about financing the cost? The nice thing about rebuilding your credit is that it's actually not as hard as you think. There are a million ways to do it; you just have to be informed on how to do it. Once you know some of the strategies and techniques, you'll be on the path to rebuilding your credit in no time. Today, I'm going to show you some simple strategies on how you can rebuild your credit the effective way.

A secured credit card

If you're not familiar with a secured credit card, you may want to look into how one works. A secured card is just like any other credit card but instead, it will require that you send a deposit to the bank before they actually send you the card. The reason the credit card companies' do this is because they want to build trust in you and if you don't pay your bill off in full, they can simply dip into your account and take the money needed. Once you show that you can pay your bill off in time and the minimum amount, you can soon upgrade to a regular card. The nice thing about a secured card is that most people are approved but you just have to remember that it takes a small deposit to start.

Small bank loans

Another way to rebuild you credit is to simply open up a very small loan amount at your local bank. This amount should generally be no more than three hundred dollars. Now, ninety nine percent of the time, you will get approved for this loan. Once you get approved, don't spend the money at all. Instead, you'll want to hold onto it and pay it off in full at the end of the month. This way if you pay It off in full, you'll be able to avoid the interest rate and you'll start to build your credit score as well.

The department stores

Any big name department store that offers a credit card will generally approve you regardless of your credit. If you have a bad credit score, you will generally get a smaller credit limit. Department stores are a great place to build your credit. I highly recommend you look for a place that offers groceries or essentials that you need on a weekly basis. Just remember that if you use your card that you treat it right so that the score can go up!

These are just a few tips you can use in order to build you credit. You almost have to look back how you started your credit. Rebuilding your credit would be no different. When you do get approved for a credit card or you start a loan, look back at what you did in the past and learn from your mistakes. A smart spender is a great credit builder.<bio>Rebuild your credit with secured credit cards and find more of Tom's work at FINDsecuredcards.</bio>

If you are hunting for team approved sporting gear, there are some tips and pointers that you should keep in mind. Most of these tips and pointers are centered on helping you save some money on your team approved sporting gear purchases. In many instances, these products can be rather expensive.

First of all, when looking for a particular sporting good or gear item, take the time to shop around. Do not make a purchase at the first venue you find a particular product that you are in the market for -- unless you have extra money to blow. Take the time to see what is available at stores and shops both in the brick and mortar world and online. By shopping around, chances are really good that you will be able to find the exact piece of sporting gear that you are seeking at a solid price, at a price that will not break your budget in the process.

By shopping around, you will also open yourself up to a far better selection of sporting gear. Indeed, by taking the time to shop around, you may come across a version of the particular type of sporting gear or goods product that you are seeking that you did not even realize was available on the market in this day and age. Your shopping spectrum will broaden widely.

Remember that in the 21st century, many major department stores in the brick and mortar world now carry different types of team approved sporting gear items, including clothing. Therefore, as you look around for sporting gear items, make sure that you pay a visit to a major department store. You will be surprised at how broad the selection of these types of products has grown over the course of the past ten years.

In that same vein, keep in mind that many discount retail stores -- the major chains -- now carry team approved sporting gear and clothing items. In these stores, you likely will be able to find a nice array of different types of products at prices that actually may surprise you. Indeed, many times these discount stores carry these products at surprisingly low prices. Additionally, the quality of these products generally tends to be good -- keeping in mind that these products are produced through licenses from sporting teams which want to maintain their reputations. <bio>James Brown writes about http://www.teamlogoandgear.com/Categories/NASCAR.aspx and http://www.teamlogoandgear.com/Categories/NBA.aspx </bio>

How important is a home mortgage loan pre-approval? The short is "very important" but read further before getting your hopes too high only to be disappointed later. Learn what being pre-qualified and being pre-approved for house loan mean to you.

It helps to be ready if you're in a competitive market. If you are lucky enough to be pre-approved for a home loan, it can give you an edge over other buyers who may be interested in the same home or condo who perhaps aren't financially stable. If you do therefore take the large step of being pre-approved for a mortgage loan, it's an indication to the home owner that you are serious about buying his / her home and not just bargaining to find a steal!

What you need to do to get a pre-approval for a Mortgage Loan?

First step is an honest evaluation of your financial situation. Add up a list of all your assets comprising your cash, stocks, mutual funds, bonds, savings, IRAs, and any other investment and then deduct all the loans and payments that you have to make. This amount will indicate what kind of house you can afford.

Remember =96 there are additional expenses while buying a house. This will give you a realistic picture of just how much you can comfortably borrow and how much you will qualify to borrow. It is possible to borrow an amount that will cover the all the insurance and taxes of the first year.

Once you know how much mortgage loan you can afford, you can approach a lender or apply for a home loan online. Many online mortgage loan sites offer quotes from at least 5 lenders. Online mortgage loans are popular because the lender contacts you based on the information given by you. That makes it easier for you narrow down the lenders who are interested in working with you. Also, online application is good for busy people.

What is Difference Between being Pre-qualified and Being Pre-approved for Loan?

Pre-qualified means you contact a mortgage lender and give him/ her, your details in person or on the phone and then he/ she creates a file credit report based on details given by him. This information is usually not verified. You will get a letter stating that you are pre-qualified.

Pre-approved means a commitment from a mortgage lender once you have filled out an application for a home mortgage loan and your details have been verified. These details will include credit report from the three largest credit reporting agencies =97 Equifax, Experian and Trans Union Corp. Most online applications go through this pre-approval process.

If your credit score is low that does not necessarily mean you will not be pre-approved for a home loan. Some lenders ask for additional details like your salary statement, bank statements, W2 etc. Also, a willing lender will ask questions about the reasons why the credit score is low and why there collection records in your credit report. If the credit score is low but if you still confident that you can buy a house, then you can answer these questions.

This may be a little too much questioning but at least the lender is willing to work with you even though your credit score is low instead of just rejecting your home mortgage loan pre-approval application! Most lenders have knowledge of how to improve your credit score and may give you some tips to increase your score.

To be pre-approved gives you an edge when shopping for a home. You learn to identify the price range in which you're looking to buy a home. This makes it easier for a home seller to accept or reject your offer if you're bidding over a non pre-approved buyer. You must also familiarize yourself with a comfortable monthly loan installment.

Being pre-approved puts you in a better position as serious buyer and your negotiations maybe considered more seriously than other potential buyer who is not pre-approved for a home mortgage. Usually the pre-approval letter has an expiry date. A lot of times the expiry date for the pre-approval letter could be 3 months.

In conclusion, it is best to be pre-approved rather than pre-qualified for a mortgage loan. Be realistic about the amount of home loan you can afford. It is better to live a little below your means than to borrow more than you can afford. There are additional expenses involved while buying a home so you need to factor that into your house loan. So, be prepared when you apply for home mortgage loan pre-approval. <bio>Lokesh Kumar is a small business owner and investor.
Are you in the market for a new vehicle? Are you thinking about moving into a new home? Are you interested in returning to school? If so then it is likely that you may need to obtain a loan. There are many individuals who are interested in returning to college, buying a home, or buying a new vehicle. Unfortunately, many cannot do so without the assistance of a loan. If you are in need of a loan, it is advised that you fully examine all of your financial lending options.

Before examining your financial lending options, it is important to keep one thing in mind. Not everyone is approved for a loan that they request. If you have less than perfect credit, it is possible that you will be denied financing. However, that does not mean that you shouldn't try to obtain it. All financial lenders have different guidelines when it comes to approving or denying a loan. This means that while you may not be approved by one lender, you may be approved by another. To increase your chances of being approved for a loan, you are encouraged to submit more than one loan application.

If your first thought is to visit your local bank, to obtain a loan, you are right. Most banks are more willing to approve a loan application if you are already a customer of their bank. In addition to applying for a loan at the bank that you currently do business with, it is advised that you also submit loan applications at other nearby banks. It is true that your chances of being approved for a loan will likely increase if you are already a customer, but that isn't always how it works. There are many banks that offer loans to non-customers in hopes that they will become one.

In addition to applying for a loan with an established bank in your area, it is also advised that you examine online lenders. Online lenders can be found by searching for a number of national banks or lenders that only do business over the internet. It is also possible for you to obtain a loan from a website that works with a number of online lenders. These websites often advertise that banks will be competing to offer you loans. Simply by submitting one loan application, you could receive up to ten loan offers.

As previously mentioned, if you have credit that is less than perfect, you may have a difficult time trying to obtain a loan. There are many individuals, with bad credit, that have successful obtained a loan known as a payday loan or a fast cash loan. There are a number of disadvantages to obtaining this type of loan, such as high interest rates and short loan terms, but they are obtainable. Fast cash loans or payday loans can often be obtained online or from a business with a storefront location, possibly right in your own neighborhood.

With fast cash loans or payday loans, your application is often approved the same day. If you are able to hold off on having the money, you are advised to first apply for a loan online or from a local financial institution. No matter what your current financial situation is, there is a lender out there that should be able to offer you assistance. <bio>Joe Kenny writes for the UK personal finance sites http://www.ukpersonalloanstore.co.uk and also http://www.cardguide.co.uk </bio>

Many people today have heard about the "instant approval" credit cards, but may not understand exactly what they are. Instant approval is the method used by banks and credit card companies to take your application and instantly make a decision based on data they get from your online credit report. It is different from traditional credit card applications because you are either approved or rejected as soon as your application is submitted.

Instant approval is a method that is different from instant decision. When a bank makes an instant decision, this means that a certain period of time is given to the credit card company to decide if an applicant is approved. They will typically do a detailed background check, and it may take days or weeks for them to decide if applicants are approved. Many people may have also heard of the term "instant credit."

Instant credit means that in addition to being approved immediately, you are also given a temporary credit card that allows you to make online purchases. Instant credit isn't used much by the banks today due to the many fraudulent charges that were made after they begin offering it. Instant approval gives banks a reasonable amount of time to determine if an applicant is a good candidate.

Instant approval applications are just as secure as traditional applications that are sent through the mail. If you apply for instant approval credit cards online, make sure you go through banks and credit card companies that offer the highest level of internet data encryption. In most circumstances, using secure online instant approval services are much safer than sending applications through the mail. If your application is approved, you can expect to receive your card in about a week. The delivery time will vary depending on the company you use.

In most cases, instant approval means that the bank will give you a temporary approval based on your online credit information that will keep you occupied while they do more detailed research. The banks will do additional research to make sure your online data is accurate. While many people who apply for instant approval credit cards think they will immediately be issued a card, this is not always the case.

It is also important to make sure you have decent credit before applying for an instant approval credit card. Most decisions are made based on the FICO score, and if you are declined you credit score could be lowered even more. <bio>Joe Kenny writes for the credit card comparison sites http://www.cardguide.co.uk and also http://www.creditcards121.com, visit them today. </bio>
