Deal or No Deal seems to be about the hottest show on television right now. People that tire of soap operas and reality shows at least have a good alternative to watch. Deal or No Deal can get addicting. There is just something about watching the contestants make decisions about huge sums of money that viewers offer advice from the sidelines and feel the joy and disappointment right along with the players.

The top prize in the UK version of Deal or No Deal is =A3250,000 and viewers tune in to see ordinary people open the cases and make decisions on the banker's offers in the chance one of them will walk off the show with a huge bundle of cash.

One recent episode of Deal or No Deal came down to a contestant being left with the chance of winning either =A3100,000 or =A31000, and an offer from the bank of =A335,000. Which would you choose in the same situation? A guaranteed =A335,000 or a 50/50 chance of winning =A3100,000? Predicaments like this are what glues viewers to this fascinating game show. In this particular instance, the contestant answered, "No deal" to Noel Edmonds and unfortunately left the game with a mere =A31000 in winnings. But such are the fortunes of some players of Deal or No Deal. Others of course have much better luck and walk away with loads of cash.

A contestant has more than one opportunity to deal with the bank during a game and the offer is constantly changing based upon the amount of money left in play that could possibly be won. It is interesting to watch how different people react when faced with the choice of accepting sure cash over the possibility of a larger pot.

There is some degree of skill required in determining if the bank has made a good offer, but when it comes to opening cases, it all comes down to pure luck. That may help to explain the mass appeal and wild success of the show; the blending of pure luck with skillful decision making.

Deal or No Deal is shown in many countries around the globe. In the UK, Deal or No Deal comes on television at half past four in the afternoon and has Noel Edmonds as a host. The time slot is probably not the best as a lot of people are working or on the way home from work at that hour. Still, if you are able to catch the show at that time, you should watch it. But look out, you might get hooked on it like millions of other viewers around the globe and before long you will be shouting, "Deal" or "No Deal" from the sidelines. <bio>Sarah Thomas is a big fan of the Deal or No Deal game.
Deal or No Deal is a television game show that has turned the history of game shows on end. The show is aired in many different countries worldwide and the loyal fans count into the millions. There are many different versions of the game since each country pretty well has its own version hosted by a local celebrity. Sometimes the rules vary a little from country to country, but basically they all play out the same way. One thing is for sure, in just about every country the game is viewed in, Deal or No Deal has quickly risen to the top of the charts for popular game shows.

What makes Deal or No Deal so popular?

Deal or No Deal has a unique mix of pure luck combined with the skill of determining a good bank offer and the talent for calculating the odds of winning a big jackpot. It appears that many players get swept up in the excitement of playing and winning big money; and therefore make costly mistakes when responding to the banker. Sometimes it is a good idea to go for the big money and at other times, the player is much better off by accepting a bank offer. To walk away with the maximum amount of money possible requires one to be level headed and constantly calculating the odds.

The version of Deal or No Deal that is aired in the United States starts a new player off with 26 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/briefcases" rel="tag">briefcases. At the beginning of the game, the player selects the first briefcase and keeps it at his side. If the player declines all bank offers, this will be the case the contestant will open last to see what he has won. So you can see that the chances for winning a huge lump sum from Deal or No Deal depends upon picking the correct case right from the start.

That is why dealing with the bank becomes so important. The player may take home less than he would have otherwise, but if done correctly, he can still go home with a bundle. Each offer from the banker must be analyzed against the number of briefcases left unopened and the number of large sums as of yet undiscovered.

Deal or no deal is a game of both luck and skill.

Picking which briefcase to open is a matter of luck, but determining if the banker's offer is a good one requires some degree of skill if the contestant is to have the best chance of winning a big payout in Deal or No Deal.

Deal or No Deal is a fun and exciting game to watch. We root for each contestant to win as much as they can and if luck is on their side along with their ability to calculate odds and take risks, then they have a good chance of winning it big. <bio>Sarah Thomas is fanatical about the Deal or No Deal game show.
Imagine being a contestant on the popular game show Deal or No Deal. You are under a lot of stress and hoping you can win a million dollars. Your heart pounds each time you select a case to open. Then you hear the words that it is time to call the bank and get an offer. What would you do? Would you accept a guaranteed payment of tens of thousands of dollars? Or would you reject it and keep going for the million dollar jackpot?

Hopefully, well before you arrived at the television studio, you would have formulated a plan. So much of the action in Deal or No Deal depends on out and out luck based upon which case you select that it would probably be hard to stick with plan since you have no idea what type of scenario you would find yourself in.

Still, you could have some general guidelines to go by. If for no other reason, you could use them to judge whether the Deal or No Deal bank was making you a reasonable offer.

For instance, if there are nine cases left to open plus your original draw, then that gives you a total of 10 cases, so the odds of a particular dollar amount being in a particular case are 10%.

In addition to that, you can determine an estimated worth of each individual case. For example suppose you know that the three big prizes of one hundred thousand dollars, four hundred thousand dollars, and seven hundred fifty thousand dollars are inside those remaining 10 cases. We can take the 10% odds number we arrived at earlier and multiply that times each of the three big dollar amounts. Add those sums together and you get a number of $125,000. That number will give you an idea of where you stand in the game and how much the bank should offer you to sell out.

If you would ever be lucky enough to become a contestant on Deal or No Deal, you would certainly want to win as large a prize as possible, even if the million dollar pot didn't go your way. If you know how to calculate your odds and the worth of the cases as shown above, then the chances of you making a good deal with the bank and walking away from the show with bigger winnings would be greatly improved.

Even if you never make it to Deal or No Deal yourself, if you know how to use the formulas above, it should make the game show more fun for you to watch. You will have a better understanding of the risks the contestants are taking and you can give them advice from the comfort of your armchair! <bio>Play http://www.squidoo.com/deal-or-no-deal-game/ game for free here and have a chance of winning over =A3250,000! </bio>

The show began broadcasting in October 2005 and airs afternoons 6 days a week. The show has awarded almost =A35 million total with an average of =A316,100 being won each show.

Noel Edmonds had already had a long career radio and television but it has been Deal or No Deal which has rocketed him to fame.

The game itself is fairly simple and yet it can be difficult as the contestants must decide at what price they will sell out and walk away from the chance of winning big money.

It works like this. At the beginning of the show a contestant is chosen and presented with 22 sealed boxes which contain various amounts of money. The player then opens 5 of those boxes to reveal the dollar amount therein. After opening the first five, the banker will then assess the dollar amounts left in play and make an offer to the player. The contestant can accept the offer and the game is over. The player can also say, "No deal!" In that case, he continues to open the boxes three at a time followed by an offer. He may accept an offer at any time one is offered and end the game or the player can refuse all offers and hold out to the very end of the game. Of course, it would only make sense to do so if there were still big money pots in play.

The fun part of the game is watching the contestants trying to decide if they should go for a big jackpot or walk away with a smaller but guaranteed prize. There are many tense moments during the show and emotions run high since such large sums of money are at stake.

The game has proven to be wildly popular much to everyone's pleasant surprise. Initially, only 66 shows were planned but the response was so overwhelming that Channel 4 ordered another 230 shows.

The formula for Deal or No Deal seems to be a winning one as the game show is popular in many countries with millions of viewers around the world. It isn't hard to see why it is so popular. Who wouldn't want the chance to win =A3250,000? Even for those of us who will never make it to the show in person, Deal or No Deal holds a fascinating appeal as we watch people battle the odds for a chance at winning =A3250,000.

Deal or No Deal has helped Noel Edmonds stage a career comeback and Noel has been instrumental in making the game show the success that it is today. <bio>Sarah Thomas is fanatic about the Deal or No Deal game show.
When buying a home you probably have a couple of things on your mind.

First and foremost is more than likely whether or not you are getting a good deal.

Follow these 3 tips and you will do well:

After all, there is no point in buying a home if it does not suit your needs and budget. But with that being said, knowing if you are getting a good deal on a home is not always the easiest thing to determine. Fortunately, there are a few things that you can take into consideration.

1. The first way to determine if you are getting a good deal on a home is to use your common sense. Basically speaking, you will know if you are getting a good deal or if things are a bit out of line. After all, would you pay $1 million for a run down home in a bad neighborhood? This example may be taking things to the extreme, but all in all you should simply use your common sense when buying a home. This will always guide you in the right direction.

2. Compare the cost of the home you are interested in buying to other recent sales in the same area. This will allow you to see just how good of a deal you are getting. Regardless, you will find out whether you are paying too much money for a home, or if you are getting the deal of all deals. You can find this information online, or by getting in touch with a real estate agent. The seller may even give you these details if they feel that they are offering a great deal.

3. Hire a real estate agent to help you find and buy a new home. This way you will have a professional on your side that can guide you every step of the way. Although this may not seem like a big deal, doing this will go a long way in ensuring that you do not get taken advantage of.

All in all, these three tips should help you to determine if you are getting a good deal on a home. Everybody wants to save money, and you should not be any different! <bio>Download a free ebook that shows you how you can claim free land and property: http://www.freelandproperty.com Download a free ebook that shows you how to make amazing profits from real estate: http://www.freelandproperty.com/realezine.htm </bio>

Are you a Deal or No Deal Fanatic? Do you love to yell at the television offering your advice to the contestant when he deals with the banker? It is a suspenseful and anxious few moments when the show host calls the mysterious banker for the offer to which the contestant must decide to answer 'Deal' or "No deal".

There are a few general tips you can use to help you decide what type of armchair advice to offer the contestant. When it is early in the game, the banker has more leeway and less risk, so he may make more generous offers. But there is actually a financial principal which helps you decide if an offer is good or bad.

This principal is called 'expected value' and it lets you assign value to something now even though the future is uncertain.

In the instance of Deal or No Deal, the idea is to determine what the expected value is of the case the contestant selected.

First, you must ascertain the potential gain. The highest amount on the board is the maximum amount the contestant could win. As the game is played out and cases get eliminated, this causes the potential gain to spiral downward.

Next you must determine the probability of the gain. There are 26 cases and spots on the board so the probability that the contestant has the highest value case is calculated by the number of high value prizes left divided by the number of total cases left.

As an example: during a game of Deal or No Deal, there are 9 cases left in play plus the one originally selected by the contestant for a total of 10 cases. The board has 3 prizes left of $100,000 or more. Therefore, the probability that the contestant has a case with a prize amount of $100,000 or more is 10%.

To further clarify the example, let's assume the three high prize cases contain these amounts: $100,000, $400,000, and $750,000. Now multiply each of these amounts by the 10% number we obtained earlier and add the three sums together for a final tally of $125,000.

This is the expected value of the contestant's case. So if the banker offers him less than $125,000, you can advise, "No deal!" The show doesn't lose money because they rarely offer more than expected value when large sums are left in play. Plus it is very hard for a contestant to accept $125,000 when there is a good chance he could yet win $1 million.

Now you have a few guidelines you can use to assist you in giving armchair advice to your favorite contestants on the wildly popular TV game show Deal or No Deal. <bio>Find out more about the http://www.squidoo.com/deal-or-no-deal-game/ here.
Game show lovers gather around the television once a week for NBC's runaway hit show Deal or No Deal. This extremely popular and exciting hour long show is hosted by none other than Howie Mandel, the loveable stand up comedian who offers average citizens the chance to strike it rich.

Mandel's likeable nature and comical banter combined with the enthusiasm shown by contestants would make for good TV in itself. The real hook of the show though is the way the tension builds as deals are cut with the mysterious banker up in the shadows.

The game of Deal or No Deal does require some strategy, but ultimately it comes down to luck. The game involves trying to choose the case which contains 1 million dollars out of 26 cases which hold various dollar amounts. The cases are held and opened by 26 of the loveliest ladies on television. After selecting the case and placing it on the contestant's table, then comes the process of eliminating the remaining cases and negotiating with the banker in hopes of walking away with the biggest pot possible.

When it is time to talk to the banker, Mandel picks up the phone and calls a shadowy figure in a glass booth. The banker will offer the contestant a dollar amount he can walk away with if he stops game play at the end of the call. The dollar amount offered depends on how many high dollar cases have been flushed out before the call. These calls create tension among the audience as everyone waits to see what choice the contestant makes. Some choices are good ones and earn money for the contestant and everyone is happy. Other times, the contestant will make the wrong choice and will walk away with a pot much smaller than he could have.

Deal or No Deal takes the audience and TV viewers through the gauntlet of emotions: anticipation, indecision, the thrill of the win, and the disappointment of defeat.

NBC has created magic with their wildly popular game show Deal or No Deal. Interestingly, Deal or No Deal is a popular television game show in many other countries as well, each with their own version of the game. The game is suspenseful and the formula the show follows allows for the audience to bond right away with the contestant. The audience becomes drawn in and cheers and experiences anxious moments right along with the player. While winning the top prize does not happen very often, contestants can still walk away with a nice lump sum of cash and that is the ultimate goal of Deal or No Deal, and that is why millions of viewers turn in each week. <bio>Anne Morris is captivated by the game Deal or No Deal.
Once you have found the property which you want to buy with the hope of turning it into a venture that will make you money, the final step is to get the best holiday let mortgage deal.

One very effective way to do this is to go to a professional; a specialist broker will in exchange for a fee do all the hard work for you. The broker can prepare the documentation and submit it along with shopping around to make sure that you get the very best holiday let mortgage deal possible. This process can be very time consuming if you should do it yourself and of course you simply don't have the expertise of a broker which means you probably wouldn't get the best deal.

As soon as your offer has been accepted for the property then this is the time to get in touch with a broker, although it's important that you remember that while you put in an offer, this doesn't mean it will be accepted, so wait for the acceptance.

While the broker is the best way to go to make sure that you get the best holiday let mortgage deal there are many factors which you will have to consider and take car of yourself. You should have done your homework thoroughly beforehand and made sure that the investment will pay off, well as sure as you can be, ideally in order to get the best holiday let mortgage deal your predicted income from the rental of the property should be at least 130% of the mortgage repayments.

Another factor to take into account is that some lenders will base the mortgage they offer solely on the projected rental income while others will be fussier and will take into account your income from your day job and will ask that this is over a certain amount. However if you have gone with a specialist broker then they will take the time to look around and find the best holiday let mortgage deal for you. <bio>Sean Horton is a Director of Holiday Let Mortgages (http://www.holidayletmortgages.co.uk) which offers UK residents the finance to buy a UK based holiday home. America is one country that has fallen in love with the show which has a blend of pure luck, calculating skill, and gambling excitement. And to that the 26 lovely young women who hold the money cases and a funny and loveable host in the form of Howie Mandel, and you have a game show where millions of viewers stay glued to watch another average person struggle with the chance of winning a million dollars.

There is no denying the fact that it is fun to watch people as they agonize over choosing cases and accepting the bank's offer. People react in all kinds of different ways and that is what makes Deal or No Deal fun, especially when the unexpected happens. It is interesting to note though that most people generally play the game the same way and use very little strategy or calculation and instead get swept up in the excitement of gambling.

Of course everyone is hoping for the big win, but it seems like many people don't have a plan or a limit set for when to stop. If they do, they get caught up in the greed and excitement of gambling and often make silly decisions that leave them with a lot less to walk off with than they would have otherwise. It is a reflection of the way many of us love to gamble.

It isn't a bad thing; it is just interesting to see people pass up guaranteed sums of money which sometimes are fairly large in themselves, for the off chance of winning a bigger pot. It is fun to imagine what we would do in that exact same position. The decision might not be an easy one depending on the dollar amounts left in play and the number of cases left; especially if the big prizes are still up for grabs.

By just watching the show, we can experience the same emotions as the contestants. We want them to win and go for the big prize. And if they lose, we console ourselves with the thought that at least they tried! We hold our breath and wait anxiously for the bank's offer and then mutter our advice from our armchairs. Deal or No Deal has become one of the most popular game shows of all time and it just might be because it appeals to the fascination many of us have with gambling and going for the big payout against all odds. Being an actual contestant on the show would be the experience of a lifetime, but you don't have to be on the set to love the show as millions of loyal fans already know. <bio>Anne Morris created an awesome Deal or No Deal game page. The premise is a fairly simple one although playing the actual game can be stressful for the contestants since there is a pot of one million dollars at stake.

For each game there is only one contestant, the host (who happens to be Howie Mandel in the United States version of Deal or No Deal), a banker, and 26 attach=E9 cases filled with various cash amounts.

Each game starts with the contestant selecting one case from the 26. The host places this case next to the contestant and this particular case is not opened until the end of the game. The contestant then proceeds to randomly select and open the rest of the cases. After a few cases are opened, it is time to get an offer from the banker. The banker will consider how many attach=E9 cases are left to open and if the big dollar amounts have been revealed, or if they are still in play. He then makes a cash offer to the contestant to stop playing the game. If the contestant accepts the cash offer, the game ends. If the contestant does not accept it, the game proceeds as before until all cases have been opened except for one from the remaining 26 and the original one the contestant selected. The banker then makes the final offer and if turned down, the contestant opens the first case he selected and gets to keep the amount inside.

Since there are a set number of attach=E9 cases in the game, and when the attach=E9 cases are opened we learn the dollar amounts, it can be determined what the odds are that a big dollar amount is left to be won. This helps the contestant determine whether to accept the bank's offer, or to go for the big payout. Of course ultimately it comes down to luck. In order to win the one million dollars, the contestant has to pick the case containing it out of the 26 original cases at the start of the game and not sell out until the end. That is why not many players go on to win the million dollar jackpot. However, many contestants have won large pots in the tens of thousand and hundreds of thousand dollars.

Contestants are allowed to bring a support group of family members or friends along with them to Deal or No Deal for advice throughout the game. The support group is not allowed in the playing area but is seated just off to the side so they can easily communicate with the player.

Due to the unique playing format of Deal or No Deal, this game show has become one of the most favored game shows in recent history and has millions of fans worldwide. <bio>Jane Wyvern has a page about the Deal or No Deal game.
Knowing exactly what to invest in when dealing with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/real+estate+transactions" rel="tag">real estate transactions will determine a good or bad deal. When a good deal is made, it means that the seller, buyer and agent all walk away feeling as though they have won or made a bargain. Having what you want in line is the beginning to making a good deal with all that are involved in the process.

The major component that will make a deal and transaction good is the finances that are involved in it. This means that the right loan with the specific terms and needs should be applied. The right interest rate should be a part of this transaction. You should also have the buyer feeling like they got the home or property for a lower price than other places. The seller should feel like they made some profit for their next property for this as well.

The finances that affect the deal should also be a good deal in offering upfront fees and better rates. For example, some lenders or investors will offer prices but have other fees attached that will add onto the loan. Knowing to look out for these will help you avoid the extra costs that may not be attached to the initial loan. You can make sure that this part of the deal is good by investigating different lenders and seeing who has the best offer.

Another part of ensuring a good deal comes from the state that the property is in. The property maintenance performances should be done on the house. This means cleaning the floors and other places that have gotten dirty over time. It also means making sure that the property has everything running smoothly in it. A property manager or inspector will need to move around the property to make sure everything has been maintained. If it hasn't, the investments need to be made before the final deal to fix these certain areas.

Finding the best deal for your needs will allow for everyone to get a good deal. Buying and investing in the property that you want without having the wrong types of costs and problems with the maintenance of the home will help you feel content with your decision for a long period of time.

If you have rental property in Singapore, you can use portals like http://www.rentinsingapore.com <bio>Kim Lee write for Singapore's Rental Portal http://www.rentinsingapore.com </bio>

Your specialist broker will then need to know whether you require car insurance that is more suitable for a woman or a young driver as often they can get cheaper deals or just general car insurance.

Once the broker has all the answers then the broker can compare car insurance deals on your behalf.
Are you selling your home by owner? If so, you are probably looking forward to the day that you find a buyer. But sometimes this is the worst part of the process. Even though this is when things are supposed to come to an end, and you are supposed to get paid, an unruly buyer can make this a huge pain in the neck. Since you do not have a real estate agent you will have to deal directly with the buyer. And if they are not willing to deal with you in a professional manner, this can become a bad situation in no time at all.

So how can you deal with an unruly buyer when selling your home by owner? First and foremost, you should keep in mind that this is a business deal. For this reason, you need to be professional at all times. Even if you are getting scorned by the buyer, you should take the time to calm down and act professionally. Remember, just because you are being treated poorly does not mean that you should return the favor.

Another way to deal with an unruly buyer is to try communication methods other than the telephone or in person meetings. Although this may be the quickest way to get things done, if you cannot see eye to eye, it may not be possible. Instead, why not look into what email has to offer? This will allow you to communicate with the buyer, but not have to deal with their yelling and degrading comments. Sure, you may still have to read them, but this is much better than dealing with them in person.

It is hard to walk away from any deal when you are selling your home by owner. After all, this is the day that you have been waiting for since you put your home on the market. But if you are really having a hard time with a potential buyer, there is nothing wrong with calling things off. As long as you do not have a contract with them, you are within your rights to walk away from the deal. It may take a threat of walking away to bring the buyer back down to earth. You may find out that this is all you needed to calm them down, and force them into a professional relationship.

For Rental Properties in Mumbai(Bombay), India check the link http://www.bharathrentals.com/browse/all/all/Mumbai <bio>James Gunaseelan writes for rental portal http://www.BharathRentals.com </bio>

You may have heard other people say "I really got a good credit card deal". If you happen to be seeking a credit card at that time, do you select the same credit card you were told is a good credit card deal?

Let us see what can be considered a good credit card deal. A credit card deal is good if it maximizes on benefits for you. So, if a credit card fits your lifestyle in such a way as to rake in maximum personal benefits, then you have found a good credit card deal. What is important here is that you have found a good credit card deal for the person who is going to use the credit card and not someone else. Lifestyle and credit needs differ from person to person, that is one of the reasons why credit card companies offer so many different types of credit cards. It may be true in some instances where the lifestyle of two individuals is similar that a credit card deal which is good for one is good for the other. However, most often a credit card that is good for one individual will not be a good credit card deal for both.

You may want check with other individuals who have recently procured a credit card to decrease the time needed for researching a good credit card deal. Still, it is a matter of deciding your own needs. For instance, if you travel often and to far distant places by air, you would probably choose a credit card that offers you good travel benefits, rewards and rebates. You may decide to get your credit card from a credit card company or the airlines themselves to get the best travel benefits. For shoppers, a good credit card deal might be a card that offers discounts, rebates and rewards on shopping. The retail stores may have credit cards to offer you that are of value to you, so you may decide to get your credit card directly from the retail store instead of a general credit card issuing company. Also, there are credit card deals from gasoline stores, big grocery chains and other establishments. If your credit card needs are not specific, you might use a general purpose credit card. Many of these credit cards give reward points on every purchase you make using the card, and the points can then be redeemed for cash or other rewards which you may find useful.

In summary, a good credit card is only good if you find the card is going to serve your purposes and there is no single credit card deal which is equally good for everyone. <bio>Art Taylor has been a successful internet marketer for 10 years.
Making agreements and deals with other people is a part of life. Everyone wants to make sure they are getting the best possible deal for themselves. This has been the case for ages now. Back to a time when people were trading goods to sustain their lives, we today do the same. However, as times have changed and we our society has become more intricate, so has the process on making deals. For a long time an oral agreement and a handshake was all that was needed to ensure each person would come through on their part of the bargain. Now, we face so many scams and untruthful people we have to question if a handshake is enough to seal any deal. This is a common dilemma in the franchise world today.

If you are becoming a franchisee you will want to upfront what is expected of you as a franchisee and what the franchisor will provide to you. This is how franchises work; it is what makes them more successful than most independent businesses. These expectations can be on a small or large scale. Regardless everyone needs to know what their part of the deal is and they need to meet it.

Your franchisor may make an agreement or deal with you orally and give you a nice firm handshake. However, they may never carry through their end of the bargain. So, in our current system, what can you really do about it? Is that oral agreement enough to get you what they promised you?

Well, it is enough if and only if you can prove it in court! The best way to do this is by having a witness as you seal the deal with a handshake. Make sure that you have someone you selected and you can trust. You wouldn't want anything to get turned around on you. If you did not have a witness for you oral contract, you should begin working on your part of the deal. This can sometimes show that some type of deal was made. However, it usually only holds relevance if the other party begins some work on their part of the deal as well. You should also keep anything that can serve as evidence of the deal. Such as receipts, thank you letters, emails, faxes or anything else relevant to the deal.

For the most part oral contracts are withheld on both ends and no one ever has to prove anything, however there is still a small chance it could. So, make sure to follow the guidelines above just in case.

The best way to avoid this completely is to have a written contract between both parties. Even though it may take more time to do it this way, it is the best way to ensure both parties hold up their end of the deal. If the deal is in writing, there is nothing to prove. It may actually end up saving you time if you did have to go to court about an issue.<bio>For more information on an automotive franchise, visit BumperDoc auto body franchise and start your path to business ownership.</bio>

When thinking of the greatest TV game shows of all time, classics such as The Price is Right and Let's Make a Deal instantly come to mind. Game shows of recent years came and went without too much of an impact until the past few years when Deal or No Deal came on the scene. Its success is probably due to a mixture of the excitement of the game itself with the charming personality of the host Howie Mandel. Mandel has toned down his stand up comic antics and acquired a more serious demeanor for the show. But his loveable personality still shines through.

The set of Deal or No Deal also adds to the allure with the audience and mysterious banker cast in shadows. Twenty six beautiful women hold cases filled with unknown amounts of money. The contestants appear to be carefully selected for their likeability quotient so the audience warms up to them right from the start.

Of course, all the above wouldn't be worth much if the game were not so fascinating. Each show offers someone the chance at becoming an instant millionaire. But it doesn't come easily. The contestant needs to open each of the cases one by one to see where the large sums of money are. At certain times, the game play stops and Mandel phones in to the bank which makes a cash offer to the contestant to stop playing and walk away from the game. The contestant replies to the offer by answering, "Deal," or "No deal."

The show is a roller coaster ride of emotions for the contestant and the viewers. After all, the big prize is one million dollars and of course everyone wants to win it. Not many people do actually win the one million dollar prize however. Many have won prizes in the tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars, and of course, those prizes are certainly nothing to complain about.

The hook of the game show is the offer from the bank. When Mandel makes a call to the mysterious banker, everyone anxiously awaits his offer. The banker is housed behind glass and the audience can see him sitting in the shadows talking on the telephone to Mandel. Once the contestant is told the offer, he has to choose between accepting a guaranteed amount of cash to walk off the show or rejecting the offer and take the chance of winning a bigger pot in the end.

People will often turn down large sums of money just to play on and have the chance of winning the big amounts over $100,000 and up to $1,000,000. This adds to the drama, suspense, and excitement of Deal or No Deal and is what keeps millions of viewers glued to the TV screen when it comes on. <bio>Jane Wyvern made an awesome Deal or No Deal game page where you can play for free and have a chance of winning over =A3250,000!
When it comes to getting the best deal on car loan finance then look online, or better yet, let a specialist broker do the work for you to ensure that you do get the cheapest deal possible. A specialist has the advantage of knowing exactly where to look, who to go to and who to avoid when it comes to getting the best deal for you.

When it comes to getting car loan finance, the broker will take into account the rate of interest and also the total amount that you would be repaying over the period of time you want the loan for. They will also take into account any additional bonuses that the lender throws in such as offering free insurance for a particular length of time.

When it comes to getting the best deal on your car loan finance then many factors have to be considered such as the type of loan that you wish to take.

If you want to be sure that the amount you will pay each month stays the same, then a fixed rate interest car loan might be your best option. A fixed rate loan means that whatever happens to the rate of interest the amount you pay on your loan remains the same. This certainty is attractive to people who are on a very tight budget as they know exactly how much they will be paying out each month for their car loan finance.

A broker can always give you good advice on the right type of loan and what is offer which makes sure that you get the best deal possible on car loan finance at that particular time. However, always make sure that you understand the terms and conditions set out in the loan and the total amount that you have to pay back throughout the term of the loan. <bio>MotorCarLoans (http://www.motorcarloans.co.uk) offers a free to use and independent service for car finance and car loans.
When selling your home by owner, the most important part of the process is being able to close the deal. After all, if you cannot turn a potential buyer into a deal you are never going to be a success with for sale by owner real estate. As you can imagine, there is a lot that goes into closing a for sale by owner real estate deal. In fact, there are so many details that you will definitely need to take a step back. After all, you want to make sure that you do not make any mistakes along the way.

Believe it or not, closing a for sale by owner real estate deal is much easier if the buyer has a real estate agent. And since most buyers do, this should be something that works out to your advantage. Not because the agent will cut you slack on the price, but because they will have all the necessary resources in order to close everything down. For instance, with any real estate deal there is a lot of paperwork that needs to be signed by both parties. If the buyer has an agent this will make the process 100 percent easier on you. They will have everything that you need, and you will only have to worry about making sure that they are being fair.

If no agent is involved, take the time to search online for all of the information that you need. There are many services that focus on facilitating for sale by owner real estate deals. When you sign up with one of these services, you may be charged a fee, but they are going to help you to get everything done correctly. It would be in your best interest to pay for this so that you can be ensured of doing everything with accuracy and efficiency. Overall, closing a for sale by owner real estate deal can be a difficult task. And not only can it be difficult, but it can be quite scary as well. This is when you will finally see the end of the tunnel, and realize that you have done everything on your own. But despite the nervousness that you may be feeling, it is well worth it in the end.

For HDB Rental units in Singapore visit http://www.rentinsingapore.com/browse/all/all/all <bio>Kim Lee writes for Singapore rental portal http://www.RentInSingapore.com </bio>

Following the increase in interest rates on 5 July by 0.25% it is widely expected that most lenders will increase their standard variable mortgage rate by at least the same amount and indeed some have already done so. But what is a standard variable rate (svr) and how does it affect you?

The svr is typically the rate of interest that you would be charged by a lender if you were not on a "special deal". The rate of interest varies and normally moves up and down in line with movements in the Bank of England base rate. This means that if you have a mortgage which is based on a svr your mortgage payments will fluctuate from time to time. However, if you took out a two- year fixed rate mortgage this is, by definition, not the lender's standard variable rate. The fixed rate will apply for the two year period and after that the lender would normally charge you their standard variable rate.

Most people would normally then be better off if they could get another "special deal". At the time of writing (10 July 2007) standard variable rates are moving to in excess of 7.5% whereas you can still get fixed rate mortgages at less than 7.0%.

Many people are on svr mortgages because they have simply never thought to re-mortgage. They have not looked to see whether the lender that gave them the good deal two, three or five years ago is still giving them a good deal now that they are not on the rate they originally got.

The simple way to check that you are still getting a good deal is to use a mortgage comparison site. This will show you what the best deal available happens to be =96 it is better to check this than to just hope that it is the current mortgage that you have. <bio>http://www.mform.co.uk allows you to compare mortgages form all UK mortgage lenders. </bio>

We have all =96 at one time or another =96 had experience with trying to decode and understand a phone bill. Extra charges, hidden costs, and unexplained overages have all confounded us periodically. But when landline phones were all we had to worry about, our frustration was at least confined. But now, with the advent and significant use of cell phones, we have another bill to decipher. And when you are not thoroughly educated about the plan you are paying for, you can easily be overwhelmed by the billing process. Paying affordable prices for cell phone usage =96 and understanding all that that entails =96 means finding a cellular phone deal you can live with and pay for with confidence.

Luckily, as cell phone companies compete for our business, the availability of a cellular phone deal that works for our particular situation can be found around every corner. The hard work comes with the research required to locate and compare each deal as it pertains to your particular usage. But if you are persistent and aggressive in learning the ins and outs of each plan, then you will have the clear advantage in finding the cellular phone deal that will ultimately save you money.

First and foremost, you should ensure a few general rules, standard to most of the industry. The cellular phone deal that is common to most cell phone companies is the provision of free calling in their particular network; so in a call to or from anyone who uses a cell phone within the same network there should be no charge. Additionally, most cell phone companies will offer free calling to particular friends and family as a part of the cellular phone deal; you need only specify which particular numbers you are in contact with on a regular basis.

But the most important part of a cellular phone deal =96 in the effort to save you the most amount of money possible =96 is the use of minutes. You must be absolutely clear about what kind of cell phone user you are in order to choose the cellular phone deal that will work to your advantage. You will pay for minutes either way so if you use your cell phone a great deal you should look into the higher minute plans rather than underestimating your usage and paying overages. Most cell phone companies will offer a rollover plan of some sort as well, wherein you can take any minutes that are unused during one month and take them with you into the next month.

Also be sure to understand the taxes and additional charges that could be incurred monthly as a part of your cellular phone deal. These miscellaneous charges can really add up over a period of time.

Ultimately, the cellular phone deal that will best work for you is the one that you understand completely. No one likes to feel that they are being taken advantage of; understand all the charges on your cell phone bill so that you can know for sure that you are getting the cellular phone deal that makes the most sense. <bio>For easy to understand, in depth information about cellular phone deal visit our ezGuide 2 http://cellphones.ezguide2.com </bio>
