<content:encoded><![CDATA[ One of the confusing things in choosing a digital camera is deciding how many mega-pixels you should look for. The answer depends on what you plan on doing with the finished pictures. <br /><br /> First, you need to understand what a pixel is. In terms of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/digital+prints" rel="tag">digital prints</a>, a pixel simply means a dot of color that makes up the image. A mega-pixel is equal to one million pixels. The more mega-pixels a camera has, the greater the amount of information it records. <br /><br /> The easiest way to decide what to look for is to know what size prints you are likely to print from your camera. A one mega-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pixel+camera" rel="tag">pixel camera</a> is fine for those who don't plan on printing photos but rather just post them on the internet. A small print, say 4 x 6, will print acceptably from this camera. <br /><br /> A 2 mega-pixel camera will enable you to produce good quality 5 x 7 prints and fair quality 8 x 10 prints. When you reach 4 mega-pixels you can print out excellent quality 8 x 10 prints and acceptable 11 x 17 prints and a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/5+mega+pixel" rel="tag">5 mega pixel</a> camera will allow you to print out high quality 11 x 17 prints. <br /><br /> Most families find a camera in the 3.2 Mega-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pixel+range" rel="tag">pixel range</a> to be the best choice. The quality of both 5 x and and 8 X 10 prints is very good yet the files on your computer are not so large you need worry about not having enough space. <br /><br /> Any camera over 5 mega-pixels is unnecessary for all but professionals in photography; even then, only those who have need for poster-size prints find that many mega-pixels worth the money. Most freelance photographers find 4 or 5 mega-pixels to be sufficient for excellent-<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/quality+prints" rel="tag">quality prints</a>. <br /><br /> The choice is yours. Look to what you plan on doing with your photos and then decide. In most cases spending the money for increased optical zoom and lower mega-pixels is the best choice. <bio><a href="http://www.reviews9.info" >http://www.reviews9.info</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/house+blue+prints" rel="tag">house blue prints</a> that ultimately build your home is a choice you will live with day in and day out for as long as you live in the home. This is why it is so important to choose the right person to make those house blue prints for you. <br /><br /> My husband and I just went through the process of building our home and we went through quite the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/ordeal" rel="tag">ordeal</a> in getting our own house blue prints done right. I wrote this article to make your process go a bit smoother. <br /><br /> The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/first+person" rel="tag">first person</a> we talked to about our house blue prints was a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/real+jerk" rel="tag">real jerk</a>. He would make his own decisions on how our house should look and wouldn't explain to me why my ideas could not be used instead. Customer service was obviously not a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/priority" rel="tag">priority</a> in his eyes. <br /><br /> It is very important to find a company that will actually listen to and explain things to you when you have questions and ideas. After all, it is your home. You will be the one living in it. <br /><br /> Sometimes it is just easier to choose from stock house blue prints and just have modifications done to them to suit it to your needs. That way you know what your house will look like <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/right+from+the+beginning" rel="tag">right from the beginning</a>. <br /><br /> A <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/great+source" rel="tag">great source</a> to find some high quality blue prints is - <a href="http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net" >http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net</a> <br /><br /> Find a company that has a lot of experience in both customer service and creating high quality blue prints. If I had knew this from the beginning, I would have saved myself a lot of time and stress. <br /><br /> If the company does not care about you and your questions, they don't deserve to have your business. When I finally came across a great company I was so relieved. They actually explained things to me and the whole process went beautifully. <br /><br /> The most important thing to remember is to know what you are paying for. When you're looking for stock house blue prints or custom blue prints, you want to know all of the costs up front. <br /><br /> Many people will have 'hidden fees' or costs you have no idea you will be paying until you receive the bill. Find out exactly what you will be paying before you sign a contract or make a payment. <bio>Amy G recently went through the process of building a home and shares what she discovered on her website <a href="http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net" >http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net</a> Visit to learn all the tips, tricks and advice you need for choosing the perfect house plan for your home. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

And all dog lovers seem to like free graphics of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dog+paw+print" rel="tag">dog paw print</a>s. You like them, but where can you find free graphics of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dog+paw+prints" rel="tag">dog paw prints</a>? <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/computer+software+programs" rel="tag">Computer Software Programs</a> <br /><br /> Many software programs offer free graphics of dog paw prints. Two examples: <br /><br /> 1. Microsoft Word and Microsoft Publisher both produce several free graphics of dog paw prints simply by selecting "Insert, picture, clipart" from the menu and typing "paw print" into the search box. If you want free graphics of dogs, you can use the same procedure and search on "dog". <br /><br /> 2. Adobe PhotoShop offers free graphics of dog paw prints in any size and color you want. On the tool bar, select the "custom <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/shape+tool" rel="tag">shape tool</a>" and browse for the paw print you want. If you cannot find the dog paw print, click the arrow at the top right of the shape selection box, and append "animals". <br /><br /> 3. Do a search of your whole computer for any graphics type files that contain the word "paw" and you may find hidden free graphics of dog paw prints where you least expect them. <br /><br /> Internet Websites<br /><br /> <br /><br /> The Internet will often yield free graphics of dog paw prints. <br /><br /> 1. Each paw print has a letter on it, so you can type words with paw prints. Simply visit their site, copy the file paw.ttf to your Windows/fonts directory. Then open your text editor and select "Ennobled Pet". <br /><br /> 4. Hiox India offers free graphics of dog paw prints in 48 different colors! They make provision for you to test colors on a different background, too, with a simple mouse click. <br /><br /> 5. If you visit My Flint River Dog, you will find free graphics of dog paw prints for use on your personal or commercial web site. <br /><br /> Do-It-Yourself <br /><br /> The best way to get distinctive free graphics of dog paw prints is to do it yourself =96 assuming you own a dog. Use non-toxic children's finger paints and white cardstock. Dip your dog's paw into the paint, and place it on clean cardstock, pushing slightly to get a clear print. You can repeat as often as necessary until you get a good clean print. <br /><br /> Take your dog print and scan it into your computer. You can now produce various sized free graphics of dog paw prints. <br /><br /> Make It a Project <br /><br /> Collecting free graphics of dog paw prints can be fun. Get together with other dog owners and help each other make dog prints with finger paints. Appoint one person to collect all the prints (labeled as to whose dog made them and the breed name), and scan them. Then share the results. You will have many sizes. <bio>=A92007, Anna Hart. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ When I went through college I learned how to read <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prints" rel="tag">prints</a> and draft. We had a bag of physical tools that we purchased and hauled around campus. T-Squares, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/french+curves" rel="tag">French Curves</a>, compasses, pencils and erasers filled this bag. Then you had a pad of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/drafting+paper" rel="tag">drafting paper</a> and a drafting desk. You would pin or tape the paper down and begin drawing or drafting. <br /><br /> Drafting paper has a grid to help keep you aligned as you began you design. In CAD, there is a grid you snap to, or guides to keep you straight. We had hard plastic templates to draw curves. CAD has numerous tools to draw curves and lines. We had calculators to figure out distances and ratios. CAD does this automatically. <br /><br /> Overall, you can <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/view+cad" rel="tag">view CAD</a> as replacing Drafting. CAD moved the same type of process into a more flexible and efficient environment. CAD has also helped out with networking of designs. Different designers and engineers can work on the same assembly in different parts at the same time. This team effort really moves the overall process along much faster. <br /><br /> However, as far as print reading goes, that is about the same as it was before. Drafting outputs prints and CAD outputs prints. A human still needs to be able to read them and make sense of them. A plus with CAD is that it is much more standardized and clear. Many times before, prints were unique to their maker. Similar to handwriting, you could not always figure out what the engineer wanted to convey to you. CAD cleans all that up. <br /><br /> CAD is the way we work today. I would be very surprised if you could come across a shop that has hand drawn prints. It just isn't practical. Precision and accurate prints are the way manufacturing increases efficiency. <bio>Ivan Irons runs <a href="http://www.cncinformation.com/CNCBlog/" >http://www.cncinformation.com/CNCBlog/</a> Get the latest on computer aided design drafting, aided <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cad+computer" rel="tag">cad computer</a> design, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cad+symbols" rel="tag">cad symbols</a> free. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[If you're an artist, I'm sure you're constantly looking for a new, innovative idea which will help your work stand out from the competition. Whether you're a painter or photographer, one easy way to get a leg-up on the competition is by utilizing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/canvas+prints" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/canvas+print" rel="tag">canvas print</a>s</a>.<br><br>For photographers, the benefits of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/printing+photos+on+canvas" rel="tag">printing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photos+on+canvas" rel="tag">photos on canvas</a></a> are numerous. Canvas prints last longer than normal photo prints, are more durable, and are priced similar to the higher-quality photo printing and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/framing+services" rel="tag">framing services</a> you likely utilize to display your works. But most importantly, canvas prints are unique and eye-catching.<br><br>Every photographer displays their work on normal printing surfaces in a frame. It's the common way to display works, and for most of the 20th century it worked just fine. Now, however, with digital cameras making everyone a self-proclaimed professional photographer it's important your work stands out from the pack, and you can do that by printing it on canvas prints.<br><br>Imagine, if you will, your gallery or the local store/café you sell your photos at. People see the photo in a frame, look at it, nod, and move on. With a canvas print, however, people will instantly be drawn to your work more than any other piece on the wall, because it's unique. Not only is it unique, it looks classier. Even if you only sell photos printed on photo paper and framed, canvas prints will draw people to your example and sample pieces much more readily than they would be drawn to any standard photography displays. Canvas prints draw the eye, and anyone who has ever seen one on the wall can attest to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/taking+a+closer+look" rel="tag">taking a closer look</a>.<br><br>If you do decide to sell your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/art+on+canvas" rel="tag">art on canvas</a> prints, doing so will likely be cheaper than the cost of printing and framing a work. Because canvas prints are more durable than standard photos, and because they can be covered in lacquer to protect them, canvas prints are fine as-is, even outdoors, and require no extra money spent on custom framing. Not only will it be cheaper for you to produce your works on canvas than on paper, but you can pass the savings on to your buyers. Your work will stand out from the competition and look more artistic and professional, and it will also be available at a lower price. Sounds like a win-win situation, doesn't it?<br><br>Photographers aren't the only artists who can benefit from using canvas prints. If you're a painter (or inker), canvas prints make a fantastic starting ground for any works. By printing a background image (yours or public domain) and painting over it, you'll be able to mix the effects of printed (and real life) images and your own work. The result is an entirely unique display that most people have never seen, and it will be guaranteed to bring people to view your works. For those of you who have trouble coming up with backgrounds for more abstract pieces, printing pictures on canvas prints and painting over them also eliminates that little problem. The best part? People will always believe that you used the canvas print background as part of your artistic vision, and not because you didn't want to (or couldn't) take the time and effort to come up with a better background on your own. You can also create canvas prints of people you want to paint or sketch portraits of, and have a great starting base to work over for that lifelike look.<br><br>As you can see, canvas prints not only benefit the consumer, but even the producers of art can utilize canvas prints in ways which will help them succeed. The key is to start now before everyone finds out about it.<bio>ZaZaGallery - Our art is the buzz in our community. <content:encoded><![CDATA[A lot of expenses need to be taken care of while adorning your house. Picture framing is one of the means to save money. I was bewildered at the expense that I would have to bear to get several <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prints" rel="tag">prints</a> framed. These prints, I had found at the arts and crafts fair and had an idea that they would greatly increase the beauty of our living room. The prints were economical, but getting them custom framed was proving to be a very expensive issue. Make sure you do not shop for days for a picture frame, it is not needed. <br /><br /> I paid a visit to the local craft shop that provides <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/picture+framing+supplies" rel="tag">picture framing supplies</a>. With the assistance of the clerk I brought the prints, chose mats and frames that complimented them well. After I returned home, it took just a few minutes of work and there I was- <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/custom+framing" rel="tag">custom framing</a> the prints right at my dining table! <br /><br /> Soon I found that the wall needed more. These prints were wildlife sceneries of our most liked state parks. Here is another great photography site <a href="http://www.photographyforfun.com" >http://www.photographyforfun.com</a>. I went through the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photos" rel="tag">photos</a> we had clicked on our previous visit and found too that were matching with the prints bought. <br /><br /> I got the photos enlarged at a camera shop. I again visited the craft shop providing picture framing supplies and shopped for matting and frames. Soon form the picture frame supplies I found a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/double+mat" rel="tag">double mat</a> that helped highlight the photo colors pretty well. The double mat also went well with one I bought earlier. <br /><br /> The same clerk was at work. She thought that the earlier project of mine was successful and so I had returned for more stuff. I showed her the enlarged photos and told that I was intending to use them along with the prints. She said she was a great idea and complimented me for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/saving+money" rel="tag">saving money</a> by doing the picture framing myself. <br /><br /> So I returned home and was again at my dining table <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/engrossed" rel="tag">engrossed</a> in picture framing. In the end the photos resulted in an amazing decorative piece on the wall. We have now decided to use personal photos and do custom framing as a replacement of other decorative items in our house. Custom framing our own photos has resulted in we creating an great piece of art and that too at a very reasonable cost. <bio>Melissa Core enjoys: <a href="http://www.myartportal.com" >http://www.myartportal.com</a> <a href="http://www.cmminformation.com" >http://www.cmminformation.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ 'I want a closet in my bedroom that I could fit a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/queen+size+bed" rel="tag">queen size bed</a> into if I wanted. I want to feel like a serious celebrity when I walk into that closet and choose from my shoes, clothing or accessories.' <br /><br /> 'However, I want it to fit into a plan using only this much <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/square+footage" rel="tag">square footage</a> for the house.' This is what I sounded like before our home was built. I was very serious and confident with what I wanted, and no one was going to talk me out of it. <br /><br /> So, I was pretty surprised when the guy who would be working on my <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/house+blue+prints" rel="tag">house blue prints</a> looked at me like I had just licked the bottom of my own shoe. <br /><br /> I had thought long and hard about what I wanted, and was ready for the house blue prints to be drawn so we could get this process moving. <br /><br /> We had established a budget, and within that budget, we had planned the square footage of our home. We weren't able to go above that budget, either. <br /><br /> So, my dream of escaping into my celebrity closet with the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/full+length+mirror" rel="tag">full length mirror</a> and the '<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dressing+room" rel="tag">dressing room</a>' sign on the door came crashing down around my ankles. This is why. <br /><br /> Although I had established my wants before getting the house blue prints, I hadn't really thought about my needs. <br /><br /> If we would have gone with the closet size I wanted, including the other things we had to have, our bedroom would not have been large enough to accommodate our needs. <br /><br /> Still, I really wanted it, so I tried to convince my husband and the guy doing the house blue prints. I tried to compromise; however, they assured me that no contractor would build our bedroom around our bed. <br /><br /> My husband also refused to leave the same sheets on our bed for the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/rest+of+our+lives" rel="tag">rest of our lives</a>, and hang our clothes in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kitchen+pantry" rel="tag">kitchen pantry</a>. <br /><br /> We might have been able to squeeze our bed into the bedroom, but we would have had about an inch of room to walk around in. <br /><br /> When choosing house blue prints, the first thing you should consider is your family's needs. Most people build houses that they plan to live in for the rest of their lives, so you have to plan for an expanding family, accumulated personal items or furniture, and anything else you may gain through the years. <br /><br /> A great place to look around and find plans you like is - <a href="http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net" >http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net</a> <br /><br /> You don't want to have your home built and realize in a few years that you have outgrown it. My own needs wouldn't have been fulfilled had I went with the house blue prints the way I wanted them. <br /><br /> In fact, I found out that a lot of people end up unhappy with their homes because they chose to overlook their needs for something they wanted at the moment. <br /><br /> After quite a while, and a lot of blood, sweat and tears, our hour was up. What I got was a set of house blue prints that accommodated our needs, and most of our wants. I didn't think I would be, but I am very happy with the size of my closet. <br /><br /> My husband is happy that he didn't have to purchase a wardrobe to fill the closet I had originally wanted, and the man who handled our house blue prints is happy that I left him alive. <bio>Amy G recently went through the process of building a home and shares what she discovered on her website <a href="http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net" >http://houseblueprints.thebestreview.net</a> Visit to discover all the tips, tricks and advice you need for choosing the perfect house plan for your home. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ If you're like a lot of people, you have older relatives who aren't connected to the Internet. And if you're like a lot of people, you email pictures back and forth, which means a lot of older adults will be left out of the photos sharing fun. Well, thank goodness for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/easy+photo" rel="tag">easy photo</a> printing sites. <br /><br /> With easy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photo+printing" rel="tag">photo printing</a> you can keep older relatives in the loop of all the fun things happening in the family. In fact, nowadays it's oftentimes a lot easier than before. <br /><br /> Think about what it was like in the past for a moment. What qualified as easy photo printing them was to buy film, load the camera, take the picture, have it developed, get the prints back from the developer, and then share them =96 and usually, you only had one or two copies of the prints. You see, with film, you had to get the whole role developed and pay for prints you didn't even want. That's not exactly easy photo printing. <br /><br /> But now, you take pictures with a digital camera. Even if you use film, man developers let you have your photos loaded to a CD, which means they're automatically made digital. This makes easy photo printing a lot better for sharing. You can send specific photos to family and friends, and they can use their favorite easy photo printing site to order prints. <br /><br /> But what about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/grandma+and+grandpa" rel="tag">grandma and grandpa</a>? Well, here's the answer =96 simply make sure to include in your email a reminder to print off a few extra copies for the older relatives. That way, cousin Sue will be sure to think of her <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mom+and+dad" rel="tag">mom and dad</a> when you send her pictures of your kids at their <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/violin+recital" rel="tag">violin recital</a>. All she has to do is order a couple extra prints at an easy photo sharing site. <br /><br /> Or, if you have an aunt or uncle, or even a parent, who lives in a far off city, you can go to your favorite easy photo printing site and have prints sent directly to your older relatives. It's that simple! They'll be so surprised and glad to get prints of family and friends they haven't seen in a while, or who they don't see very frequently. <br /><br /> This type of thoughtfulness is especially important if you know of older adults who are living in nursing homes or assisted care facilities. Just thing, with easy photo printing, all you need to do is upload your pictures, pick out the ones you think they will like, and have them delivered directly to their room at the nursing home =96 with a personal note from you included. <br /><br /> Easy photo printing truly is a great way to stay in touch with the people who might otherwise get left out of the loop. And remember, you can even have prints delivered by next day air, so if you want and older friend or relative to share the moment right away, you can! And once you use easy photo printing to share the moment, be sure to give them a quick call =96 they'll love to hear from you! <bio>Matt Smolsky develops marketing programs and has written articles for a variety of clients, including Hoorray (<a href="http://www.hoorray.com" >http://www.hoorray.com</a>), a new website for easy photo sharing and easy photo printing. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[A disposable digital camera is a good idea if you need a camera for one time use. It has pretty much the same features as a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/traditional+digital+camera" rel="tag">traditional digital camera</a> except for the fact that you cannot get the photographs from the camera yourself, you need to return the camera to the store for that. <br /><br /> The disposable digital camera is compact and easy to use. In fact user directions are printed right on the camera. There are a variety of models available at differing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/price+points" rel="tag">price points</a>. You can get one with the ability to delete shots and with a preview screen. The screens are small 1.4 inch screens. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/disposable+digital+cameras" rel="tag">Disposable digital cameras</a> have a resolution of 2 mega pixels which is fine for most types of photography and you can also utilize the 10 second delay so you can be in your own photos. They have an automatic flash for convenience sake which <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unfortunately" rel="tag">unfortunately</a> is not able to be turned on or off manually. <br /><br /> A disposable camera is quite comparable to a traditional digital camera in all respects except for the notable exception of having to return your camera to the store to get your pictures. You will receive prints of your photographs as well as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/digital+prints" rel="tag">digital prints</a> on CD. <br /><br /> Oddly enough, the disposable digital cameral is not disposed of. It is actually repackaged and resold. This explains how a digital camera that produces high <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/quality+photographs" rel="tag">quality photographs</a> can be sold for a mere $20. <br /><br /> The quality of prints that come from a disposable digital camera and better than prints from a regular disposable camera, so the digital is the logical choice. <br /><br /> The major drawback is that the disposable digital camera can hold only 25 pictures. This doesn't make them very cost effective. You can bring the price down some by choosing a model that doesn't have a preview screen. As time goes on and the technology improves and competition increases, price will no doubt come down and functionality improve. <bio>Beverly Kane is a staff writer at <a href="http://www.digitalphotographyjournal.com" >http://www.digitalphotographyjournal.com</a> and is an occasional contributor to several other websites, including <a href="http://www.theshoppinggazette.com" >http://www.theshoppinggazette.com</a>. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ Since digital cameras came into the market, most people use <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/digital+formats" rel="tag">digital formats</a> for new photos, and there are people keeping older film camera <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/paper+prints" rel="tag">paper prints</a>, slides and negatives. We will show how to convert them into digital formats. <br /><br /> Paper Prints <br /><br /> Sizes 4X6 and 5X7. If they are kept too long, tend to lose their quality, the paper might turn yellow, bend and colors faded. <br /><br /> Slides <br /><br /> Are similar to negatives but projecting photos on large screen. <br /><br /> Negatives <br /><br /> Are processed film usually 35mm roll which hardly used unless to develop new paper prints. <br /><br /> Want to know how to convert all those <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/old+photos" rel="tag">old photos</a> from traditional paper and negatives to digital? This is easy to copy and a better way to keep the photos in the computer for long time. For amateurs try simple, easy and cheap methods. Professional photographers will spend time and money on this process scanning and requires different equipment. <br /><br /> Scan <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/paper+photos" rel="tag">paper photos</a> prints on a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/scanner" rel="tag">scanner</a> yourself, is a cheaper way, unless you want to send to a professional scanning service that will scan and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mail" rel="tag">mail</a> them back the originals and a DVD with the digital scans. Sometimes, it's a risk to take, mailing the only hardcopy of your photos. <br /><br /> The Resolution is measured by the number of dots per inch, if you are going to scan it yourself. Usually the scanner can scan at 1200DPI or more. The higher the resolution the slower the scan and bigger photo file size. If the higher resolutions scan is at 300 to 600 DPI, you get better results. <br /><br /> When you buy a scanner check the scanning Speed, which is measured by number of scans per minute and check the speed at the DPI you're going to use. Speed is important if you are using more than hundreds photos. For better results, scan at the lowest resolution possible, 300-600DPI is good enough. <br /><br /> Photo feeding is not an issue if only small number, but for more photos make sure that the scanner is fast and easy loading. A good scanner will automatically load stacks of photos, feed and scan them for you. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/scanning+negatives" rel="tag">Scanning negatives</a> and slides is harder than scanning paper prints, so a professional scanning service is easier and cheaper. Standard flat scanner will not be good enough; you need a film/slides scanner. Negatives and slides are high resolution sources and require scanning at higher DPI than paper prints. In this cases 2400DPI or higher should be used. So scanning home photo paper prints is good enough but scanning the source negatives is a not needed. <br /><br /> You can see how easy to photo paper prints by yourself rather than using professional scanning service. For a small investment, get an expensive automatic scanner which has all the functions to convert your original quality memories into digital format, for you and your children to enjoy. <br /><br /> Plus you can keep these photos stored safely on DVD hard drive or online where you can never loose them. And you can share your photos with the world faster then you can say cheese! <bio>Store photos online and save your memories forever. <content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/" rel="tag"></a>The excitement of digital photography has increased manifold with the introduction of digital photography printing equipment. Anybody can obtain this equipment and start making prints right from their home. The days of worrying about the film running out and going top processing labs for taking prints are over! <br /><br /> Digital Photography Printing- Take Care of The Following Aspects <br /><br /> However, before you start taking prints from your newly acquired digital photography printing equipment, please keep the following tips in mind for better results. For good quality, digital photography printing you must ensure that the pictures are downloaded at their maximum resolution, which should be about 200-300 dpi for an 8x10 print. A 200 dpi is sufficient for large prints (13x19) that might be viewed from a distance but for a 5x7 print, 300 dpi would be necessary. There should be sufficient resolution for good quality digital photography printing. You would need at least 400kb (kilobytes) for a good 8x10 print. <br /><br /> If you work with JPEG file format, some image information might be lost in digital photography. It is advisable to make all the changes at one go and then save them at one time. The quality of digital photography printing depends to a large extent on the paper being used. You must use only recommended paper for the printer. As the good quality coated paper is quite expensive, it is advisable to complete all cropping and changes on the imaging software before giving the print command. For inkjet printing, the most durable paper is known as archival paper and it is acid-free. <br /><br /> For digital photography printing, regular color inkjet and laser printers might not be the best choice. If you want to print directly from your camera, you should use a printer, which is PictBridge-enabled. You can also use portable printers, such as the HP Photosmart 320 series to get 4x6 digital photography pictures anywhere. Dye-sublimation printers are good for smaller 4x6 prints but the paper and ink for these printers are frightfully expensive. <br /><br /> When you are printing larger than 8x10, you might not be happy with the results from your own digital photography printing. In such cases, you should use either one of the brick-and-mortar, or online photo labs. <br /><br /> Professional photo labs can carry out quality digital photography printing from the information on your memory card and as such, you can take your CD, digital camera or the memory card to them for getting quality prints. <bio>We are the leading provider of technology information. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ While <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/sharing+photos" rel="tag">sharing photos</a> electronically over the Internet is a great convenience and time saver, there's nothing like holding an actual photo and reminiscing about the special moment. That's why <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photo+printing" rel="tag">photo printing</a> websites can be such a wonderful resource. <br /><br /> If you pick the right website, getting your prints will be as easy as snapping a picture with your digital camera. <br /><br /> The first thing to look for is a site that's focused on your needs, and not simply trying to sell you more cups, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/party+hats" rel="tag">party hats</a>, t-shirts and other photo paraphernalia. That stuff has its place, but first and foremost you want to find a reliable photo printing provider, not a party planner. Hint: If the site is primarily focused on photo sharing, then they're likely going to help you the most with photo printing. <br /><br /> Be careful, though, when choosing a web site that seems solely focused on photo sharing. Sometimes those types of websites are too technical and tend to fall short of quality photo prints. The last thing you want is a website that makes it too hard to print your photos online. The best websites are the ones which allow you to easily upload your photos, choose your pictures in a few clicks and order prints. <br /><br /> Secondly, look for a site that will deliver the prints directly to your door. There's nothing easier than getting home from work, opening your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mail" rel="tag">mail</a> and seeing the fruits of your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photographic+efforts" rel="tag">photographic efforts</a> in your hands. That's photo printing. If you have to stop by a store to pick up prints, you'll likely have to wait in line for your prints, and maybe even wait in line to pay! There's really nothing easy about that. <br /><br /> Another thing to look for is an easy <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photo+uploading" rel="tag">photo uploading</a> process. Look for sites that give you the ability to upload entire folders of photos all at once. Then, photo printing is a simple matter - all you do is upload your photos from a party or vacation all at once, pick the ones you want to print, order, pay and wait for them to come in the mail. <br /><br /> Of course, a selection of print sizes is important for photo printing, but you don't want too many choices. Unless you are a professional photographer, or aspire to become one, don't get too caught up in trying to decide which print size is best. It's more important that you get your photos printed. <br /><br /> Finally, keep an eye on price. While it's important to pay a fair price for your photos, many providers lure you in with very inexpensive per print prices, only to increase the price on later orders. Also, the low per print price sometimes only applies to bulk orders of the same print. <br /><br /> The most important thing to look for is an photo printing service that understands how much you cherish your photos. After all, these are not just photos you are entrusting to them - these are your memories. And your memories are worth a lot. <bio>Carey Paris develops marketing programs and has written articles for a variety of clients, including Hoorray, a new website for <a href="http://www.hoorray.com" >http://www.hoorray.com</a> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/easy+photo" rel="tag">easy photo</a> sharing and <a href="http://www.hoorray.com" >http://www.hoorray.com</a> easy photo printing. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[We all want our homes and businesses to look nicer. Whether we get new furniture, put in new carpet, paint the walls, or purchase other decorations, it's all to make the places we live and work look as good as we can make them. But why spend a fortune with expensive artworks and decorations when you can get an inexpensive canvas print?<br><br><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/canvas+prints" rel="tag">Canvas prints</a> are sure to add a touch of class and elegance to any home or place of business. For a cheap rate, you're able to send pictures of whatever you want to a number of canvas printing businesses. Using state of the art technology, technicians transfer your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photos+onto+canvas" rel="tag">photos onto canvas</a>, creating a painting-like look.<br><br>Despite what people believe, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photos+printed+on+canvas" rel="tag">photos printed on canvas</a> don't look like a picture just glued out or printed onto the top of a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/canvas+surface" rel="tag">canvas surface</a>. Instead, the ink used in printing bleeds into the canvas, giving it an authentic appearance as if it were painted in. It literally is painted in; just by computers instead of by hand.<br><br>Most businesses which print <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photos+on+canvas" rel="tag">photos on canvas</a> will also stretch and mount your products over sturdy wooden frames. What this means is that the picture is printed into the canvas's material, and then wrapped tightly around pieces of wood shaped into a square or rectangle. This gives final products a pop-out appearance, instantly making them appear classier than any standard, flat photography you have hanging on the wall.<br><br>Perhaps the most elegant quality of canvas prints is the texture of the canvas itself. With a rougher surface than paper and visible fibers, even the most mundane pictures printed on canvas instantly look like <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/artistic+masterpieces" rel="tag">artistic masterpieces</a>. Whether you're printing a motivational poster for the office to inspire your employees, or a landscape shot to hang above your couch in your living room, the unique visual and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/physical+texture" rel="tag">physical texture</a> of canvas prints just makes everything look better than it already is.<br><br>Another benefit of canvas prints comes from the mental boost in confidence they'll give your employees. While new furniture may make an office workplace look nicer, furniture is also considered an essential element for any workplace. Canvas prints are considered an extra-something not needed-and the high-quality appearance of them is sure to create a sense of success in your workers. Even though canvas prints are inexpensive, many will view them as a pricey investment purely for aesthetic value. "If they can spend the money on this," they'll think, "things must be going great!"<br><br>While you don't have to worry about inspiring that kind of confidence at home, canvas prints are an easy way to impress visitors (from solicitors to family) with your sense of style, and convince them that you're perfectly capable of furnishing and decorating a home as successfully as any interior designer on HGTV.<br><br>All in all photo canvas prints are a feel good item. Their is a real ability to influence attitudes by means of them. strategic placement of them to inspire a mood should be considered. The emotions that can be invoked can be anything from confidence, strength, justice, virtue, southing, hot, cold, thirsty, angry, sad and so on.<bio>ZaZaGallery - Our art is the buzz in our community. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Whether it is for business or personal use, almost everybody needs a printer at one point. There are many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/types+of+printers" rel="tag">types of printers</a> that are available on the market, from stand-alone inkjet printers to multifunction <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/laser+printers" rel="tag">laser printers</a>. With so many options available, it can be quite a challenge finding the right printer for you or your business.<br><br>Below is a list of things that our product specialists recommend our customers to look for when <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/buying+a+printer" rel="tag">buying a printer</a>.<br><br>Print Quality: Lets face it, if a printer doesn't produce good-looking prints, than you might as well be drawing by hand. When looking at the specifications, check out the DPI (<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/dots+per+inch" rel="tag">dots per inch</a>) of the printer. The higher the DPI, the more accurate the printer will be, giving you better quality prints.<br><br>Another thing to consider is the printers color depth. The higher the color depth on a given printer, the more colors it can print. This in turn gives you prints that have much more <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/realistic+colors" rel="tag">realistic colors</a>.<br><br>Print Speed: Consider the PPM (prints per minute) that the printer can produce. The more prints per a minute a printer can produce, the faster its print speed is. If you plan on printing in a high volume on a daily basis, the print speed should be of especially high importance to you. Even if you don't plan on printing in high volume, the print speed could still be of importance as nobody really likes waiting <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/long+periods+of+time" rel="tag">long periods of time</a> for a single print.<br><br><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/networking+capabilities" rel="tag">Networking Capabilities</a>: If you want to share the printer with family or colleagues, see whether or not the printer supports a wired or wireless connection. Some models are ready to connect to a wired or wireless network straight out of the box, while others support a network add-on that you can purchase if you want to use this feature later on.<br><br>Paper Capacity: If you plan on doing high volume of printing, you should consider the paper capacity of the printer. When a printer's paper capacity is large, it means you will have to re-fill the printer with paper less often, which is a great convenience.<br><br>Size and Weight: If you have limited space in the room you plan on putting the printer in, the size and weight of the printer should be considered. You should be able to put the printer in a location that is easy to access, and with a printer that is too big this might not be a possibility.<br><br>Definitions:<br><br>DPI (Dots Per Inch): A measure of the resolution of a printer, scanner, monitor, or mouse. It refers to the number of dots that are fit into a one-inch line. The higher the DPI, the more accurate the image/information will be.<br><br>Color Depth: Number of bits for each pixel in an image. The higher the bit depth, the greater number of colors there are. This is also sometimes referred to as bit depth.<br><br>PPM: The amount of prints a printer can produce per a minute.<br><br>Paper Capacity: Refers to the amount of paper a printer can hold in its tray(s).<bio><a href="http://www.dirselect.com">Buy Computer Electronics at DirSelect.com</a> <a href="http://www.dirselect.com/index.php?l=page_viewandp=learning_center">View More Articles at the DirSelect.com Learning Center</a> <a href="http://www.dirselect.com/index.php?l=product_listandc=5">Buy Printers</a></bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Okay, you have purchased your new computer, and maybe some office furniture, now it is time to buy the PC accessories you need. One basic computer accessory that almost everyone will need at some point is a good printer. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/epson+printers" rel="tag"><a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/epson+printer" rel="tag">Epson printer</a>s</a> offer good quality and a wide range to choose from. <br /><br /> Epson printers come as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/inkjet+printers" rel="tag">inkjet printers</a>, photo printers, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/laser+printers" rel="tag">laser printers</a>, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/point+of+sale+printers" rel="tag">point of sale printers</a>, and all in one printers. Ink jet printers are probably the most widely purchased for home use. Epson printers range in price from $59.99 to $850.00. Prices vary depending upon printing speed, photo capability, ink types, and dpi. For basic home use, the Epson Stylus c68 printer should cover all of your basic needs, and is priced at $59.99 on the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/epson+website" rel="tag">Epson website</a>. This Epson printer prints well on paper and photo paper, and has its own individual ink cartridges, which can be a plus budget wise. In standard black text, it prints at speeds up to 17ppm. <br /><br /> If your Epson printer will primarily be used for photos, you may want to consider some of the more expensive models, depending on the quality pictures you want. Some of the higher end Epson printers can actually use archival ink, which is guaranteed to last for a long time, usually even longer than your regular prints from the photo lab. Many of these printers also print on ink jet CD's and DVD's, giving you more options to store your memories. <br /><br /> Epson also features a photo printer called PictureMate, which gives you prints that are comparable or better than your local photo lab prints. The pictures on this printer are said to last up to four times longer, and are stated to be water and smudge proof. On average, your prints will cost you around twenty nine cents each with this printer. If you are a serious photo person, this printer would probably work well for you, assuming it fits into your budget. <br /><br /> Laser printers from <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/epson+range" rel="tag">Epson range</a> in price from $600-$700, and are Ethernet compatible. If you are running a business, and need a lot of basic black and white documents, a laser printer is probably the best, most cost effective option for you. Laser printers also tend to be much faster than ink jet printers, because they focus more on speed and quantity than quality. Some Epson laser printers also have built in fax machines, letting them serve as two pieces of office equipment in one unit. <br /><br /> Point of sale printers are widely used in large business and retail stores, and Epson is a common preferred brand name. <br /><br /> Many people like the Epson line of all in one printers, as they can do many tasks without having to buy different equipment for each task. These all in one printers are priced from $89 on the low end, to $400 for top of the line. Many of these Epson printers are able to print straight from the memory card of your digital camera, making it much easier to get the prints you need. Some offer both black and white and color copying capabilities. Other models also come equipped to send and receive faxes as well. <br /><br /> Basically, when you are ready to buy your Epson printer, you should think about what its' primary function will be, and buy the printer that is best suited for that task and meets your budget. Epson printers come with good warranties, and Epson offers great tech support and customer service, which is always good, especially if you are going to be purchasing one of the more expensive models. <bio>Learn more about epson printer - visit our website at <a href="http://www.top-home-printer-guide.info">http://www.top-home-printer-guide.info</a> for epson printer articles and reviews. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Cheap digital <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photo+processors" rel="tag">photo processors</a> are a dime a dozen <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/digital+photo" rel="tag">Digital photo</a> processors that do the printing cheap <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/abound" rel="tag">abound</a>. They are everywhere you look. But to find an affordable location that can give you the quality that you expect is another story. Some places offer prints for as low as 12 cents for a 4X6 print. Others can charge as much as 58 cents per print. <br /><br /> What do you get for 12 cents per print? <br /><br /> Many customers of the chains that offer prints this cheap have a complaint similar to this one; "Some companies try to "alter" the images to get the "highest" quality <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photos" rel="tag">photos</a>. This person had done a test and submitted the same photos to various processing services. What they received were totally different results. Their complaint was that the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photo+shops" rel="tag">photo shops</a> try to make them look good instead of trusting their customers abilities. As simple as it sounds, leaving the picture alone can be a difficult quality to find in a photo printer online. To try to find out on your own is quite a lot to ask of paying customers. Other than altering your photos after you upload them common complaints are that the quality is not what they expected. As a photography lover let me tell you there are a lot of companies that will give you very high quality prints that will amaze you no matter what your expectations are. <br /><br /> What can you get if you find the right photo printing company? <br /><br /> There are printers that do not charge very much more and the quality is outstanding. With these more capable companies they offer very good sign-up bonuses such as 60 <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/free+4x6+prints" rel="tag">free 4X6 prints</a> to start, and free membership. They can also offer various albums to organize your pictures online. All the while offering file uploads as high as 10MB. Other great services are bulk order prices. With bulk order pricing the more you order the cheaper they get. That way having a family reunion will not break the bank. As you look for a great company to print all your favorite photos remember that there are photo printers that can disappoint and there are printers that can dazzle. <bio><a href="<a href="http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/">http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/</a>"><a href="http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/">http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/</a></a> <a href="http://www.kmbfoto.com/">http://www.kmbfoto.com/</a> <a href="<a href="http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/">http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/</a>"><a href="http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/">http://www.printyourdigitalphotos.com/</a></a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Every parent counts the fingers and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/toes" rel="tag">toes</a> of their new born baby. Those baby hands and feet warm everyone's heart with their innocence and purity that only a new baby can have. As baby grows, parent most miss those tiny hands that belong to their precious baby. Fond memories are linked to that little hand wrapping around a finger and squeezing the love into both the baby and the parent. Sooner than most parents would like, those tiny little hands grow up. <br /><br /> Of course, the baby's <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/tiny+feet" rel="tag">tiny feet</a> are also a source of amazement for most adults. Everyone has to see those precious little toes to see for themselves how perfect the bundle of joy is. Playing "this little piggy" with such cute little toes embeds the baby's perfection into the memories of each parent. <br /><br /> You can now save those precious memories forever. Not only do you have the footprints that the hospital made for you, but you can have a real three-dimensional <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/memento" rel="tag">memento</a> of those perfect baby hands and feet. Several companies can help you preserve the memory of baby's perfection. <br /><br /> One option offered makes your baby's hand print or foot print into a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/plaque" rel="tag">plaque</a>. Mounting the plaque on a wooden frame, you can include a decorative nameplate to show the name and age when the prints were made. This is a perfect way to keep a memory of their tiny hands and feet. <br /><br /> Unlike many pictures or personalized baby gifts, these plaques are not usually put away in the attic. Here is a great website related to pregnancy <a href="http://www.detailedpregnancy.com" >http://www.detailedpregnancy.com</a>. Instead, they are proudly displayed hanging on a wall or sitting in a stand in plain view. In this way the family can keep the prints and brag about them to everyone. Family members could even give this as a baby gift to the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/expecting+parents" rel="tag">expecting parents</a>. <br /><br /> The plaques can be made in a variety of configurations. You may choose a small plaque that has only the hands or the feet. However, you can choose a larger plaque that can fit both the hands and feet. Or even better, you can include all of the children's prints in one plaque if you missed out doing this with older siblings. Another sweet memory would be have both the parents' and the baby's hand prints on the same plaque. <br /><br /> Another unique memory option is a three-dimensional representation of your baby's hand or foot. By placing the hand or foot into a jelly that sets in just seconds, the artist has a mold by which to create a cast. The cast will be the identical replication of your baby's hand or foot, and you can have it made in brass, silver, glass, or gold. You don't have to let time steal those precious memories; capture them forever in prints. <bio>Rachel works for: <a href="http://www.mywebsharing.com" >http://www.mywebsharing.com</a> <a href="http://www.thejewelrydelivery.com" >http://www.thejewelrydelivery.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[You're not in college anymore, and it's time to take down the posters and replace them with original art. But, you don't have the money yet for oils or watercolors. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/art+prints" rel="tag">Art prints</a> are an affordable alternative, yet they too can be pricey. How can you tell if that art print that's caught your eye is more than just another pretty face? <br /><br /> Art prints are works of art in and of themselves, and may be handmade by artist-printmakers (artists' prints), digitally printed (giclée), or photomechanical <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/reproductions" rel="tag">reproductions</a> (offset lithographs). <br /><br /> Artists' prints are handmade and are not reproductions of paintings: the print is a unique work of art. The term covers a range of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/printmaking+techniques" rel="tag">printmaking techniques</a> such as etching, woodcut, engraving, screenprint and linocut. Editions tend to be less than 200, partly because the materials used to make the prints wear out. This type of print is sometimes called an "original print." <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/limited+edition" rel="tag">Limited edition</a> reproductions are multiples copies of the same <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/image" rel="tag">image</a>, but produced in guaranteed limited numbers. This makes the image more exclusive. The market price can rise over time, if demand outstrips supply. Edition sizes vary but are limited by market forces, not by the physical constraints of the printmaking method. Most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/limited+editions" rel="tag">limited editions</a> are signed and numbered in pencil by the artist with a commitment that no other reproduction of the image will be made. <br /><br /> An open-edition <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/reproduction+print" rel="tag">reproduction print</a> can be produced in any quantity and the image may also be used in other ways, such as on tableware. Open editions tend to cost less than limited editions and are much less likely to increase in value. <br /><br /> Giclée prints are made using digital printing technology, usually inkjet. The technology enables users to produce small runs of prints. It also allows retailers to offer 'print on demand' services, where buyers select an image and it is printed out there and then. <br /><br /> Several factors influence the price of art prints: <br /><br /> Artist and Rarity Certainly the name of the artist is a major contributor to value. But the art prints of even the same artist may have widely ranging prices. This added value is due to rarity. The more valuable print may be part of a limited edition run of only a few copies, while the more affordable from a larger open-edition run. But they are both original pieces of art by the same artist. It's a good idea to be well acquainted with the works of a particular artist and his or her peers as well. Research into an artist's place in the art world will help you ensure you're getting a good value. <br /><br /> Editions, Signatures and Seals Before the twentieth century artists did not routinely number nor sign their prints by hand. A signature can come from the plate but is not much of a value. What counts is an individual signature of the artist on the print, usually with a pencil (ink would eventually fade). Modern art prints are often numbered by the artist himself, i.e., "34 / 100" (number 34 out of an edition of 100). <br /><br /> Condition It's not unusual for older art prints to have some flaws. If there aren't any, check again! It might be a reproduction. While minor flaws such as slight soiling are considered normal, depending on age, other defects, such as trimming into the image or heavily faded colors, can reduce the value of a print considerably. <br /><br /> Quality of Impression Prints taken early from a plate or woodblock are more precise and detailed in lines than later impressions. Depending on the technique, a block/plate is worn out after a certain amount of impressions. Hardly more than 2,000 impressions could be taken from a woodblock without a rather visible deterioration of quality. Look to the numbering (i.e., 15 / 450) to determine what place in the run the print had. <br /><br /> Size Larger prints tend to cost more than smaller ones. This rule of thumb is less valid for older prints than for modern ones. <br /><br /> Provenance Provenance, or the item's ownership history, can influence value. Prints from a famous collection will usually yield a premium. <br /><br /> Subject Although a matter of opinion and personal taste, the subject of a print has a great influence on value. You'll pay more for cute animals, pretty women, nice landscapes, interesting portraits. Commercially non-appealing subjects are ugly, gloomy, or war-related, no matter how classically significant the work is. After all, it's being bought to put on the wall. People will pay more if they like the image. <br /><br /> In the end, it's your own opinion of the value of the print that matters the most. You'll be happiest with an art print that you personally like. Although art prints can sometimes be a good investment, the best way to get the most for your money is to enjoy it every day as it graces your home. The value of that? Priceless. <bio>Ed Augustine is president of <a href="http://www.Gallerydirectart.com" >http://www.Gallerydirectart.com</a>. <content:encoded><![CDATA[With the economy still plummeting and people finding themselves able to spend less and less on the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/finer+things+in+life" rel="tag">finer things in life</a>, what's someone to do? Feeling good about yourself is important both mentally and physically, yet struggling to afford a trip to the movie theater every week certainly doesn't help confidence. One surefire way to boost confidence every time you come home is to buy a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/canvas+print" rel="tag">canvas print</a>.<br><br>Now, the key reason a canvas print will make someone feel better about themselves isn't necessarily that the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/photo+printed+on+canvas" rel="tag">photo printed on canvas</a> will pump them up and boost their self confidence due to its motivational imagery. Instead, the key factor leading to self confidence is the canvas itself--not always the photos printed on it.<br><br>Historically, canvas has been used as a medium by artists, royalty, and the extremely wealthy to display their favorite works of art: paintings. From portraits to landscapes to scenes from historical events and cultural works, in the past <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pictures+on+canvas" rel="tag">pictures on canvas</a> have always been something only the most well to do could afford the luxury of owning.<br><br>These days, thanks to the increases in technology even those with a low income can easily afford a canvas print with quality rivaling the paintings by masters of old. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/canvas+prints" rel="tag">Canvas prints</a> are inexpensive, often starting around $20 for a single piece of printed art. Even if your canvas print is a photo of you and your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/friends+at+the+beach" rel="tag">friends at the beach</a>, that's exactly what it will look like: art.<br><br>The unique qualities of canvas prints and the scientific advantages they bring to the table are too many to sum up in any adequate amount of space. Suffice it to say, canvas is durable, long-lasting, and most important of all: elegant. By purchasing a canvas print, every time you see it you'll feel like you're worth a million bucks, purely because of how classy and elegant it appears. Normal photo paper (or normal paper itself) is something you're used to, and that you've seen time and time again throughout your life.<br><br>But canvas prints? That's new and exciting, but that hint of its classical nature is strong enough to give it an age-old appearance denoting elegance much better than any traditional picture could ever hope to do.<br><br>Not only will canvas prints help you feel better about yourself every time you see them, but they're sure to cause other people to look at you in a new light. With a canvas print, suddenly the furniture and decorating of whatever room it's in is under less judgment; you have enough taste and skill with decorating to recognize the impact of a canvas print, so everything else will obviously be fantastic, no matter what your friends, family, or acquaintances used to think.<br><br>It's important when getting a canvas print that you keep the non-technical aspects in mind. As you can now imagine, canvas prints not only offer an alternative solution to printing your photographs, but they offer so much more in terms of intangible benefits and qualities. Printing your photos on canvas is certainly worth the slightly extra cost of printing, and when you see it hanging on your wall and soak in the positive feelings, you'll see why.<bio>ZaZaGallery - Our art is the buzz in our community.
