As we fill up with gasoline every day, a lot of us sit back and wonder how exactly is the gasoline price determined? What plays the part of making the gas prices so low or so high? In this article, we are going to explain a few factors that play a part in determining the gas prices. Hopefully after you read these points, you'll better understand the gas industry and how gas prices are determined.

Amount of oil produced

Oil comes from all points of the world and as you may know by now, a majority of the United States' oil comes from the Middle East. If the oil supply starts to dwindle, this will cause less of a supply causing the price to rise. If the supply is too high, obviously the price will lower so that it'll sell. This will bring us into the supply and demand part of gas.

Supply and demand

Like anything you buy or see in the stores, it all comes down to supply and demand. If there's a lot of demand for a product, the price will be higher because the businesses know it will sell. If the demand for the product is lower, the businesses will have to cut costs in order to compete and let the products fly off the shelves. Supply and demand is also a big part of the gas industry.

Wars

Believe it or not, wars have always made an impact on gas prices. If you look at the gas price history, you will notice that higher gas prices were always around during wars. Some experts say that wars have nothing to do with gas prices and others say that wars conflict with gas prices. We will let statistics speak for themselves and say wars creating an impact on prices.

Local taxes, etc

Gas prices aren't the same price around the United States. Each state varies when it comes to gas prices. This is because of the local taxes and locations. You may that even in your area that some gas prices are higher in other areas. The reason that gas prices vary so much throughout the states is because of local and state taxes. A lower income area is going to have cheaper gas prices because of taxes compared to a higher income taxed area.

There are other factors that determine gas prices such as the stock and petroleum market. When fear is involved, it can affect the gas prices greatly. Besides these factors, there are many others that can influence prices such as damage done to oil barracks, refineries, etc. Gas prices will be no different than an item in a grocery store like I mentioned above, it basically comes down to the supply and demand of gasoline. When the demand is high, which it always is when it comes to gas, the price is going to be higher. If you don't want to pay the higher gas prices, there are many alternatives on how you can save on gasoline. <bio>Save money on gas with gas credit cards and find more of Tom's work at http://www.findgascards.com </bio>

Evaporative coolers are a better option when compared to the costly air conditioners. Since the evaporative coolers are cheap in their prices, possess high-tech systems and are quite reliable, so people prefer to use them. Portable and small in size, the air coolers keep your home and office truly cool spreading fresh and healthy air throughout the space. Evaporative cooler prices vary from cooler to cooler because each of the coolers has its own set of features and benefits. These outstanding features that differentiate them from one another include the speed fans, washable filters, and anti-bacterial water tank.

The evaporative coolers range in prices due to their different features that are sometimes common in each of the air coolers. If the air coolers have features like fans, remote control operating system, heater systems, and follow humidifier methods, then the prices of those evaporative coolers range from $64.89 to $114.99. These air coolers usually work with 60 to 200 watts of power and reduce the air temperature in the surrounding space to a considerable extent.

Different Types And Their Different Prices

The prices of the evaporative coolers also vary for the different types of the air coolers. The portable air coolers that can be moved from one place to another are quite durable and reliable. They cost lesser as compared to the air-conditioners that usually have exorbitant prices. The regular prices of these evaporative coolers are approximately $139.99 and the sale price of the coolers is $109.99. The evaporative air coolers that contain ionizers have their prices ranging from $129.99 to $149.99. The sale prices of these air coolers, however, range from being $89 to $99. These air coolers are truly advantageous, as the prices remain low yet they offer the highest cooling ambience to the entire space around.

Variation In Prices Due To The Size And Capacity Of The Air Coolers

The prices of the evaporative coolers also differ due to the size and capacity of the air coolers. If the coolers have a fan, humidifier and ionic air purifier system operated by a remote control then the prices range from being $100 to $120. The air coolers capable of cooling huge areas like 200 square feet range in prices from being $70 to $120. These coolers work great in dry conditions under 50 % humidity level.

The evaporative cooler prices also depend upon the brands of the coolers. So while the Fujitronic portable coolers range in prices from being $90 to $129, the hi-cool evaporative air coolers range from being $250 to $400. The slant/fin air-cooling system uses water evaporation systems to cool the air much more than the fan. So these air coolers range in prices from $93.49 to $103.49. The portable air coolers that can be operated with the remote controls can range in prices $229 to $250. So if you need an evaporative cooler that is portable, powerful, energy-efficient and considerable prices, then you should compare the prices and then opt for the air-cooler that will best suit your purposes. You should make a thorough survey of the online prices to get an air cooler that will be just suitable for the area space of your home or office and come in useful package within your budget. <bio>Matthew Anderson adds regularly reviews on air coolers to http://www.evaporative-air-coolers.com .
Have you been thinking about raising your prices but you are not sure if you should? Well I'm here to tell you that you should.

So lets start with why? Because you want to raise your prices so you will always have room for new clients!

If you're booked solid with regular clients, you will never have room for new clients, which is what keeps us creative. Being content with those same ole people every day will eventually end you up stuck in a rut and behind the times.

So when is it time you ask? When your books are to the point you are turning away new clients. It's a lot easier to get someone who has never came to you to pay your new prices then your old clients to pay more than they are used to.

As you raise your prices you will start to notice a change in your clientele. The higher your prices go, the more respect you will get from your clients and your new clients will be from a different income level.

Let's say you used to do a lot of college students or stay at home moms and over the last few price increases you have noticed you are now doing a lot of corporate or management level people and business owners.

For example, if you raise your prices only 20% and you loose 10%, what just happened? You have increased your available time by 10% and you are still making 10% more money.

You have to have the mindset that loosing a few clients is worth gaining high-end clients to replace the ones you may loose. This is a tradeoff that is well worth your time and efforts.

So, don't be afraid of loosing those few clients and focus on gaining better clients and making more money in the long run.

Thanks for reading and get more great business tips at my website. <bio>By Darla Di Grandi-Aguilera, Founder of Salon Coaching Salon Management Tips and Articles http://www.saloncoaching.com </bio>

If you are anything like me, you have to abide by a strict budget in order to see all of your bills taken care of each month. Most months there aren't extra dollars laying around to be spent freely on anything you want. Sure, you might splurge on an occasional coffee or two, but for the most part the money you earn goes right to keeping you living each month. I have discovered a small but significant way to help curb my expenses and allow for a small amount of 'fun money' each month. Compare prices. It sounds simple and obvious, but my spending habits changed drastically once I began to always compare prices.

One of the biggest areas that I benefited from learning to compare prices is in grocery shopping each week. Rather than just running off to whatever store is closest or more convenient to me, I began to really search the ads and flyers to determine which stores would give me the best deals on the items I needed. I began each week by making a list of all of the grocery items I needed and then I only allowed myself to compare prices for those things. I didn't let myself just go to the store and fill my cart with whatever caught my eye. No, I had a list and I took time to carefully compare prices. It was amazing the money I saved by purchasing items at stores with the lowest prices.

Learning to compare prices benefited me in other ways than just my grocery bill. Take going to the movie theature for an example. I took time to compare prices of the different show times and I began to see movies only in the afternoon when the prices were more reasonable. While this only saves me a few dollars each time I visit the theature, it adds up when you compare prices for all the movies you see in a full year.

I'll admit it, I love coffee. One month I decided to compare prices of buying a coffee at a local coffee shop with making my own cup of coffee at home. Not surprisingly, I can save a lot of money by just making my own coffee. I found that I can even let myself purchase some of the best beans that are sold and I still come up with money to spare when I compare prices with local coffee shops.

It is small changes like going to an afternoon movie or brewing my own cup of coffee that have really changed my budget. I had no idea the amount of money that could be saved simply by learning to always compare prices. <bio>Belina Storrey writes only about topics that have changed her life.
Domain name registration prices are a market that is pretty well stable. There are higher and lower prices with various companies, but overall they are within a few dollars of one another. Where the prices of domain name registration can really be compared is within the realm of number of domains, number of years, and the suffixes. So here is a little bit about domain name registration prices compared based on the length of time, number of domains, and the suffix the name has.

The fist part of domain name registration prices compared is the number of domains that you are registering. With most any reputable registration company, you will get a better price per domain with more domain names registered at the same time. So in order to get the best price you will usually need to register hundreds of domains. You can expect to save as much as 11% if you register in bulk with your domain registrar.

Another to consider when domain name registration prices are compared is the number of years you register for at the same time. For instance, if you register for just one year you may only pay four dollars, but if you register your domain name for 10 years you could save several dollars per year. That is not to say you should always register for several years, but that you should register for the maximum number of years that make sense for you. Consider how big of a commitment you want to make to the name and then how much you want to spend on the registration. Remember, even though you will pay more, you can always renew as your time frame for registration ends.

The third factor and one that many do not think about, when domain name registration prices are compared is the suffix of the domain you choose. There are actually a number of suffixes now available on the internet, from the traditional .com to the less well known .ws and .tv suffixes. Now not only do you have to qualify for certain suffixes, but also there are different prices associated with each one. As a general rule, .com, .net, and .org are the cheapest domains and are usually under $10 each. The most expensive is usually .ws or .us, which can run you up over $20 per year. However, you do have to remember that the other factors will affect the price as well. So if you look to register for 5-10 years you will find that sometimes those ..tv or .ws suffixes can be as little as one or two years with a ..biz or .info suffix.

Domain name registration prices compared is something that you may think about doing between companies. However, the best way of comparing registration prices is within the types of registration. Bulk registration, certain suffixes, and longer registrations will net you less cost in the long run. So when you think about comparing domain name registration you should consider the various types of registration, the length, and the amount so that you can get the best price for your domain name registration in the end. <bio>Stu Pearson has an interest in Technology related topics. When dealers have a good stock of cars that have been traded in against new models you might expect used car prices to fall.

The prices of used cars is generally at a maximum at the same time as the prices of new cars, at the beginning of the year or of any new, date specific registration period. This is because demand is at a maximum at the same time as supply is maximized.

Used car prices are subject to much bigger variations than new cars. The price charged will depend on the price the dealer has paid for the car as trade-in, how much work is needed on the car and the dealer's profit mark-up. Dealers in fancy showrooms in the expensive part of town have higher overheads and therefore a higher mark-up.

Your best chance of a good deal is to find a dealer who has a good supply of the model you are interested in.

Shop around, because dealers have their favorite cars and these are priced higher than others. You want a dealer who hates the model that you want to buy. This dealer will set a lower price to sell the car more quickly.

You will also pay a higher price for any given make of used car if you buy from a main dealer. The main dealer knows that you are going there because you want that make and model, so they can charge you more for it.

If there has been a new model released, then the price for the older and visually dated model will plummet. Yet that model will not have the teething problems that any new car has. It is never a good idea to buy a car, either new or used that was produced in the first 6 - 12 months of a new model. <bio>Sebastian Romero works in the security industry and drives 30,000 miles a year.
Budget is normally a huge consideration in any home improvement project. Adding a sunroom can be a huge investment, but it can also help to increase the value of your home.

Building a sunroom may not be that difficult, but finding a sunroom plan that fits your budget can take a little more time. Sunroom prices can have a huge range and this is why it is important to carefully consider the materials, design, and size of your sunroom to ensure that the sunroom prices will not leave you feeling dissatisfied with your construction. Whether to build your sunroom yourself or to have it done can make a big difference in the sunroom prices, too. You can save as much as half of the cost by building your sunroom yourself.

For an average-sized sunroom, labor can run you approximately $12,000. Each additional feature that you choose will make the sunroom prices increase as well. Materials that you choose in the construction of your sunroom will dictate the price, too. Aluminum sunrooms are usually the best as far as sunroom prices.

Using a material like vinyl can cost you a little more, but it can help in insulation your room from the cold or hot weather, keeping the temperature more constant. A wood sunroom will be the most expensive material that you can choose and it can be the material that needs the most maintenance, too. A wooden sunroom looks great with other natural materials, including rattan and wicker in furniture and accessories. The good news is that most manufacturers will allow you to split the sunroom prices into manageable payments, which makes them available for more people-no matter what their budget. If you have been looking for a way to make your home more relaxing, then a sunroom can be that area that will change the entire feel of your home.

Sunroom prices can be anywhere from $10,000 to over $70,000, depending upon the size, style, materials, and features that you choose. The great thing about adding a sunroom to your home is that the sunroom prices that you pay will increase the value of your home at up to 70% of the total sunroom price. This can really make a difference in your homeand#8217;s value and your expected return if you should decide to sell it. That is why you want to carefully choose the features, style, and materials so that your sunroom prices will both meet your budget and your desires, so that you can get the maximum satisfaction. By carefully planning your sunroom addition, you can make a place that is excellent for relaxing and entertaining. What could be better than that? <bio>Adam Peters loves writing for http://www.allsunrooms.com .
Why high gas prices these days? This is perhaps one of the most commonly heard question as crude oil prices continue its dramatic soar throughout the first half of 2008. Excessive demand coupled with a fixed supply of crude oil has resulted in gas prices soaring to unprecedented limits. This increase in prices has resulted in far reaching effects on the daily lives of the average consumer. In examining the effects of high gas prices, we offer you an insight on why high gas prices should cause you to worry.

The first thing you would notice with high gas prices would be a significant increase in fuel cost for your car. Yes, for the same amount of petrol which you would normally buy at your local gas station, you would now need to pay more. This result in increased cost on your part as travelling becomes an increasingly expensive affair. Indeed, with crude oil prices in excess of $120, travelling to work has never been more expensive. Thus, the immediate result of high crude oil prices would be an increase in cost of car travel.

Yet, the effect of high gas prices is in no way constrained merely to increased cost of travelling. A closer understanding would reveal far reaching consequences.

High gas prices often lead to a general increase in prices of goods and services. This is known as inflation. It is important to note that transport cost has to be factored in with relation to goods and services purchased by the average consumer. For instance, when you buy a new set of furniture, your local furniture store would often provide delivery of your new piece of furniture right up to your doorstep. However, given high gas prices, your furniture store would often have no choice but to pass on the rising cost to you as increased gas prices would mean eating into the store's profits. A similar situation is observed across other industries as suppliers of goods and services pass on higher transportation cost to consumers by marking up prices.

Subsequently, the value of money would be adversely affected given the general inflation caused by the increase on prices of goods and services. This means that the value of every dollar earned has decreased as it can now buy fewer and fewer goods. This provides a disincentive to work as the same amount of wage would now only be able to purchase a smaller amount of goods. This could also spell hardship for the poorest workers as they would be struggling near the level of poverty. Given a long time frame, this could possibly lead to social disturbances and crime.

Rounding things off, it is insufficient to think that high gas prices are only a cause of concern for consumers who drive. The fact is inflation is something very real and would affect all consumers given the increase in gas prices. Furthermore, given such a situation, we would now have to accept a lower real wage as our salary can now buy a lesser amount of goods and services as compared to before. Finally, social disturbances and crime in the long run would affect us in negative ways. Thus, high gas prices are indeed a cause of worry for us.<bio>Lewis Hopewell provides valuable advice at http://howtosavemoneyongasoline.com where you can learn to save on high fuel oil prices. Click Here to get his FREE gas saving eBook while it's still available.</bio>

What I want you to understand by the time you get done reading this is that new car prices are the pocketbook's worst nightmare. There is nothing so damaging to a budget than trying to afford a new car on a salary that shouldn't be burdened with that luxury.

The problem with new car prices is that they are a figment of the car dealer's imagination. How much are people willing to pay in order to use and own this vehicle? The best way to show people how unreal these prices are is to show them what happens to the "value" of the new vehicle once it is driven off the lot. That's right it plummets! Not because the car changed at all but just because it is no longer technically speaking in the language of the auto world a "new car."

So how do you get the reliability of a new car (which really is another huge misconception) without having to hurt yourself financially. Well there are several ways that I want to suggest you get around the evils of new car prices without having to sacrifice your ride.

First don't buy new cars! Obvious as this may seem people who can't afford to throw money away do every couple of years by purchasing a new car. I am lumping in those that lease too as they are not getting anything but miles out of the car as far as ownership is concerned. The only people that have the "right" to a new car are those that can and gladly do take the hit of driving the car off the lot in order to drive a "new" car. Often people enjoy things like the warranties that come with a new car and the low interest rates that are being offered, etc. But the fact remains that you can do it another and much better way.

So buying used is the only alternative right? Right! And it is a good one at that. You see depending on your price range you can often pick up cars that were literally driven off the lot only months earlier but for the drastically lowered price. The sad thing is that the people that are selling them are no longer able to afford them one, because it is more car than they should have, and two, because they had to pay new car prices. Go on the internet and there are literally hundreds of new-used cars for sale that will give you every bit of the dependability and performance of a "new" car for greatly reduced prices.

Two more pearls of wisdom. First, used cars are often MORE dependable than there "new" car counterparts. They have "stood the test of time" and are still motoring fine. Number two it is always cheaper to maintain a car than to by a new one and therefore you shouldn't sell a car just because you have to put in a new transmission. Think of repairs, even big ones like this, as typical maintenance and you will be a much happier car owner. <bio>Hallidae Thomason is a regular buyer and seller of used cars, and has been making a living avoiding new car prices for over 15 years.
One of the hot topics being discussed as summer approaches is whether or not the camping industry is going to feel the wrath of the rising gas prices. I feel that it will affect the industry to a certain degree, because I know many people will still go camping regardless of gas prices. Many people though will most likely stay a lot closer to home this summer though and by the end of the summer it should be interesting to see the numbers from the cottage country regions.

Even in my region in Ontario there is a lot of cottage country and with gas prices so high here many people won't even consider going out camping. It use to be a fun affordable vacation that you could take but with gas prices higher then ever it's quickly becoming out of the average persons price range. Now there isn't much the camping industry can do either except to try and entice people to come out to their campgrounds, but do this costs money and then profit margins begin to fall.

It's a lose -- lose situation and without gas prices dropping it will most likely continue throughout the rest of the summer. I frankly believe that gas prices aren't going to drop and many people will just forfeit camping for good. A dilemma for cottage owners comes into play though because with high gas prices they may not be able to go to their cottage and the market is also down for cottage sales. The prices for cottages out in cottage country are dropping due to people not wanting to travel that far. People would rather stay closer to home to reserve gas than to go to the better areas.

The sacrifices are being made on both the campers and the camping industry but I don't know if it will be enough to compare with previous years numbers. The industry is definitely going to take a hit this summer due to the gas prices and we'll just need to wait to find out how bad the hit actually is. If you enjoy camping then I would recommend to you that you try and stay close to home but still get out and enjoy the camping life. Gas prices are uncontrollable and that means we can't be forced to sacrifice are summer life due to the rising prices.

We will need to make adjustments and possible camp closer to home or use a more efficient vehicle but there are definitely ways to still enjoy the sun and camping atmosphere. More and more vehicles offer either good mileage or alternative means of fuel which means if gas continues to rise, it might be a good idea to start thinking about buying an alternative fuel vehicle. This way no sacrifices need to be made at all, but if you're still driving a gas guzzling vehicle then you might need to reconsider where you camp and find a location close to home. Most areas have at least a few great areas close to them for camping so it shouldn't be difficult, but you'll need to become familiar with the people and new campground which could be a pain.<bio>Santa Fe Auto Shipping Santa Fe Auto Transport</bio>

With Gas Prices at an all-time high, how can you get to where you're going without breaking the bank? Don't worry, you don't have to give up driving altogether!

1. Compare Gas Prices

The advent of the internet has made comparison shopping much easier. There are many different websites that compare gas prices in different regions. Find out what gas station in your area has the cheapest prices before filling up. A few dollars here and there can really make a difference.

2. Carpool

Instead of giving up your car completely, try carpooling. This way you will be paying at least half the gas that you did before. If there is more than one person in your carpool, you will save even more. Carpooling to work can often be the best idea because you will likely have similar start and finish times.

If you don't want to carpool because you are worried about the inconvenience, think about the time that you gain waiting or the time that you gain when it isn't your turn to drive. You can use that time to read, to plan, or to do whatever feels right for you.

3. Be political

Write to your local representative to explain why you feel that gas prices are a major issue. Each letter or email sent to a senator, member of parliament, or other government representative counts for many voices, because politicians know that most people are too lazy to write in. So have your voice heard by writing. Try to change the problem entirely. You can even start off an email forward or get people to sign your letter before you mail it. This will help amplify your voice.

4. Know the system

You know that gas prices normally go up before long weekends. Often, prices rise before a weekend and fall slowly throughout the week. Chart the gas prices in your area to find out when the gas is the cheapest, and schedule to buy gas on that day.

5. Watch the pump price

If the pump price is very low, fill up! Even if you still have half a tank of gas, you might as well fill up now before prices get more expensive. It is easier to keep the top half of your gas tank full than to wait until your gas light goes on and start to panic about the high prices.

6. Use alternatives

Whenever possible, bike, walk, take the bus or subway, and think of creative ways to avoid using gas. If you can minimize your gas usage, then you will minimize your expenses.

The price of gas right now is rising, and because gas is a non-renewable resource, it will probably continue to rise. Do what you can to beat the prices. You can even buy a hybrid car, or an energy efficient car. Although you might not feel that you can afford to, with a good car loan, the money you save on gas could be going straight to your new car. <bio>Andrew Dillan is an editor at http://www.theguideto-carloans.com/budgeting_for_a_car/. However, by doing so yourself it can take a lot of time and be very stressful. A far better way of securing the cheapest car insurance prices is to go with a specialist website and let them look around for you on your behalf and get you several quotes so that you are able to make a comparison.

There are several factors that you have to take into account if you want cheap car insurance prices. If you fit antitheft devices such as immobilizer and alarms it can bring down the cost of your car insurance as can parking it in a garage and having an excellent driving record and no claim bonus.

When it comes to insuring your car then you have three options - fully comprehensive, third party fire and theft and third party only. Third party only is the cheapest form but only covers the other driver for repairs to their car; third party fire and theft will cover the other car for damage and you for theft or fire of yours; and fully comprehensive is the dearest type of insurance but gives you full cover. Fully comp will payout for damages to your car and the other party and will also cover against fire and theft and most policies give some form of liability cover.

Whichever car insurance is best for you, motor insurance prices will vary as does what a policy entails, so it is essential that you understand car insurance and the terms and conditions that apply in all policies.
Priced in excess of $120 per barrel, oil prices today are about three times the amount from what they used to be four years ago. The result of an explosion in demand unsatisfied by adequate supplies, the surge in oil prices has hit consumers in many ways.

To understand how oil prices today can affect your lifestyle, it is important to examine the effects of increased oil prices on the lives of the average consumer.

The most immediate consequence of high oil prices would be a dramatic increase in fuel prices. Most fuel used in motor vehicles is derived from crude oil. Any increase in crude oil prices would therefore lead to increase in prices of fuel. In another words, you now have to pay more when you visit the gas station to top up fuel in your car as you would require more money to purchase the same amount of fuel. This would in turn increase your cost of transportation. The cost of commuting by car would therefore increase as a result, especially if you drive to work on a daily basis.

Moreover, an increase in oil prices would result in a general increase in inflation across the economy. It is important to note that oil is an important factor of production required to power up machinery. An increase in the price of oil would increase the cost of operating these machines which are important for production. Given such a situation, producers would have little choice but to pass on this increased costs to consumers by increasing the prices of goods and services provided, in order to maintain the same level of profitability as before. As such, for the same amount of money, consumers must now buy lower quantities of goods and services, thus increasing cost of living.

Moreover, the price of electricity would also increase in response to increased oil prices. In many countries, oil fired power stations are still very much prevalent. An increase in oil prices would mean that the cost of operating these power stations would increase substantially as these stations require oil as a fuel in the generation of electricity. This would often be passed on to the average consumer as higher electricity bills each month, which in turn would spell hardship for those living on the edge of poverty. This group of individuals would then not only need to cope with the rising cost of goods and services, but also more costly electricity bills.

It is clear that the high oil prices today do indeed have a multifaceted impact on our daily lives. While consumers who drive may be the worst hit, other groups of individuals are not spared as they have to contend with inflation and more costly electrical bills. Yet, while the average consumer has no control over the direction of oil prices, he would be able to generate savings by saving energy. One good example would be walking instead of driving when going to nearby places and turning off the lights after use. Such measures would thus enable the average consumer to cut down on his spending and save money.<bio>Lewis Hopewell provides valuable advice at http://howtosavemoneyongasoline.com where you can learn to save on high fuel oil prices. Click Here to get his FREE gas saving eBook while it's still available.</bio>

If you are interested in the new Nintendo Wii you should be pretty excited about the cost of the unit. No, you are not going to get it for only a few bucks, but all in all when you compare Wii prices to other units you are most definitely getting a good deal. The Nintendo Wii does not hit stores until November 19, 2006, but with that being said the suggested retail price has been released. The new Wii is going to be priced at $249.99 in the United States. It is safe to say that this low price alone will draw in a lot of customers who do not want to shell out big time money for other gaming systems.

If you compare Wii prices to the Playstation 3 that is also being released in November you will notice one very important thing. The price of the Nintendo Wii is $300 less than that of the new Playstation. That is right; you can buy two Wii units for less than one Playstation 3. With that in mind, it is going to come down to which unit the majority of gamers feel is the better value. Even though you are paying more if you buy the Playstation it does not necessarily mean that you are getting a better deal. It is safe to say that the consumer will decide on what is better over the next few months. This is especially true due to the fact that the holiday season is among us.

Another competitor that you may want to compare Wii prices to is the Microsoft Xbox 360. When the Xbox 360 was released it came at two separate price points; $299 and $399. The higher priced version came with all of the bells and whistles that most gamers were looking for out of a new system. And even though the Xbox has been around for more than a year, prices still remain higher than that of the new Nintendo Wii.

So as you can see when you compare prices of all the systems the Wii comes out on top time and time again. Not only does the new Wii beat competition such as the Playstation 3, but it also competes quite well against older systems such as the Xbox.

The bottom line is that you can compare Wii prices to any other system, and the one from Nintendo comes out on top time and time again. It is obvious that when Nintendo started to draw up plans for its seventh generation game console that they took price into consideration. They figured that if they could offer the best features at a low price that they would come out on top.

Time will tell if the new Nintendo Wii is priced correctly. One thing is for sure. Nintendo will win over a lot of customers for the pure fact that there price is up to three hundred dollars cheaper than the competition. In a comparison of gaming system prices, the Nintendo Wii comes out on top in the end. <bio>Gditeam has built the one and only guide on getting a nintendo wii for free which can be found on his website here http://www.freebietraining.com/wii/free-wii.html </bio>

Wholesale clothing appeals to most everyone. The idea of purchasing clothing at the lowest possible wholesale prices means that we can buy twice as much. Well it really doesn't work that way. Buying clothing wholesale is reserved for merchants with vendor's licenses. Now you may think that you are buying womens clothing wholesale or childrens clothing wholesale because of the advertising put before you, but it is really not.

Factory outlet malls give you the impression that you are purchasing products directly from the factory at wholesale prices. Wholesale clothing manufactures do indeed have factory outlet stores, but they are not selling merchandise at wholesale prices. After all they are renting premium store space and paying a sales staff to sell the products. This cost is added to the wholesale cost. You may be able to buy merchandise cheaper at a factory outlet mall, but you are not buying it wholesale.

Another myth is the wholesale clubs. You may think that these clubs sell wholesale groceries or wholesale club clothing, but that is not so. Here again, they have the same expenses as a retail store. There are advertising expenses, sales staff, building, insurance, and utility expenses that all have to be added to the prices. Granted that because you are buying in bulk, you can save lots of money, but you are not buying wholesale.

To purchase wholesale mens clothing, wholesale girls clothing, or wholesale dog clothing, you have to buy in quantity and you need a vendors license. Merchants that sell at flea markets sell their products at low prices because they have a license, buy in large quantities, and have little overhead expenses. Entrepreneurs who sell on Ebay or other such online auction sites have acquired their products the same way.

Wholesale clothing is purchased directly from the factory or a jobber in large quantities so that the purchaser, or what we call the retailer, can sell it in smaller quantities, at higher prices, thus reaping a profit. That's what makes the world go around.

So the next time you see a sign saying wholesale designer clothing, or wholesale fashion clothing, in a retail establishment, don't let them fool you. They are making a profit on these clothes that they bought at wholesale prices. <bio>Try http://www.womenclothingspot.com Women's Clothing Spot. </bio>

Unlikely! At this point, it seems like fuel prices will never go down. It has steadily risen from $ 1.90/ gallon to its present state of $4.50/gallon. Some people say that gas prices will go down in the coming months. Some same otherwise and predict that the only direction fuel prices will be going is up, up and up.

Lamentations

The news today is a barrage of reports stating that fuel prices have hit new heights. Seeing people being interviewed at gas stations has become a regular thing. People are outraged by the impossibly high prices. But, the thing is -- there is nothing to be done. Individual laments will only fall on the deaf ears of oil giants. They don't care. They have their own crisis in their hands. And what crisis is that you ask? The problem is that Oil Titans are now facing the fact that OIL IS RUNNING OUT. They themselves cannot lower the price of fuel. If they did, they would soon find themselves filing for Bankruptcy.

The Optimists

Hold off your woes and listen to what the optimists have to say about the issue of fuel prices: They predict that fuel will go back down to at least $2.50/gallon after the 2008 Presidential election. Wouldn't that be a dream? They say that the current heights in the price of fuel are only caused by the unrest in the economy. And as soon as the economy settles down, so will fuel prices.

The Pessimists

Those who see the world with a "the glass is half empty" philosophy have this to say: The price of fuel will never go down again. It is predicted that it will reach a dizzying $12/gallon by 2009. There is no space to back down because the oil companies themselves are being cornered. Oil is running out and there is nothing that they can do.

REALITY

Both sides have made good points. It is true that the current downfall of the US dollar and the US economy has added to the rising cost of fuel. But, that's not all that's causing it. As pessimists have stated, oil reserves are drying up and oil companies have no where to go.
So, will gas prices ever go down again?

Here is a more realistic answer: There is a chance that fuel prices will go down a little bit. Maybe it will happen with the appointment of a new American president. But a prediction of $2.50/gallon is very unlikely. Consumers would be lucky if gas prices dropped to $3.30/gallon. But the predicted drop in oil prices will not continue for long. After a few months (even weeks) costs will skyrocket once more. The $12/gallon prediction is highly plausible.

Oil Was Never Cheap

The thing is - Oil was never cheap. It was only an illusion portrayed by the gas companies. They themselves didn't realize it until recently. Sure, drilling, pumping, refining and transporting fuel may cost little, but the real damage is on the environment. Today, the world is in facing environmental problems that are stacking up like dominoes. It would take billions and billions of dollars and decades just to patch things up. That is the real price of oil.<bio>If you are wanting to by a Satellite Navigation for your car then Benedict recommends 1st4-gps.co.uk.
Why are gas prices so high these days? Indeed, this question has been asked again and again by consumers these days as crude oil prices crossed the $120 per barrel mark early this year. This has resulted in putting a tremendous financial strain on the pockets of middle class families who commute on a daily basis by car. Given the current global outlook, the easing of gas prices does not seem a likely possibility in the short run. For those who are clueless as to why gas prices are so high, we offer you an explanation to the current situation, as well as possible measures you can adopt to combat rising gas prices.

To explain why gas prices are so high today, it is important to understand the relevant demand and supply factors in play. The fact is, today's high oil prices is a result of the world's demand for oil outstripping current oil supply levels.

In terms of supply, it is often the best interest for major oil producing countries such as the ones that make up OPEC to limit the supply of oil. This would enable these countries to maximize profits as they would be able to sell the limited supply of oil to consumers at a higher price given the high levels of demand. Moreover, countries such as the United States which possess large undiscovered plots of oilfields have been slow at opening these up for production purposes. This has resulted in an acute shortage of oil supplies.

Coupled with a shortage of supply is an ever increasing global demand for oil which has resulted in today's high gas prices. Industrial and economic growth in developed countries has often been associated with demands for oil and gas, as fuel to meet production needs. The United States is the number one consumer of oil and gas supplies in the world today. However, the rapid growth of developing countries such as India and China has resulted in an ever increasing demand of oil and gas as these countries seek to meet the fuel needs of their respective industrialization programs. Such a situation has only served to further increase oil and gas prices.

Given the current levels of oil and gas prices today, various measures may be adopted by consumers to reduce their spending on oil and gas.

One such measure would be to minimize the use of the car. Should you live near your work place, you might want to consider other alternatives of commuting to work such as walking or riding a bicycle to your workplace. Not only would you save spending on gas, you would also be able to get some exercise as well. That's killing two birds with one stone!

Alternatively you might wish to consider carpooling should you really require the car. You could form a carpooling network with your neighbors. One of you can drive a car with good fuel economy, taking the rest with him to their respective destinations and splitting the cost of fuel and maintenance each month.

Stop spending unnecessarily on gas. While there is little we can do to affect current gas prices, there is much we can do to cut down on our spending on gas. Take the first step today.<bio>Lewis Hopewell provides valuable advice at http://howtosavemoneyongasoline.com where you can learn to save on high fuel oil prices. Click Here to get his FREE gas saving eBook while it's still available.</bio>

Learn how you can buy merchandise at real wholesale prices. You have to learn how wholesale prices can vary so you can know when you are buying at real wholesale prices and not what the supplier wants you to believe are wholesale prices.

Is finding products at wholesale prices difficult? The answer is no. It's not difficult. The difficult part is getting them for "real" wholesale prices.

What do I mean by "real wholesale prices"? Well, most suppliers will know in the first 20 seconds if you are a seasoned buyer or just starting out. They will price their merchandise accordingly.

If you are buying wholesale products to sell on eBay, to stores or out of your home it's all the same to them. They will have up to 10 different "wholesale prices" for the same items.

Even experienced buyers and large established business pay too much on their wholesale products. So don't expect to know more than them when it comes to buying at real bottom wholesale prices.

I got my first introduction into the wholesale product pricing in one of my first wholesale consulting gigs. I was going over the prices of their best selling products to see the profit margins when I was impressed with just how low the price of merchandise was. Or so it seemed to me at the time.

As part of my job I visited all the wholesale trade shows around the country comparing prices. This is when I noticed large discrepancies in pricing for the same exact items.

Walking from booth to booth I was looking for a list of about 500 items in just a few product categories including small electronics, sunglasses, house wares, tools and toys. We needed anywhere from 50 to 100 different products from each category.

After some walking and more walking I found the exact same products with the same brands in different booths. The products were the same but the prices were much different, more than double, as much as 150% more in one booth compared to another, in the same trade show, sometimes the booths no more than 100 feet apart.

This was a shock to me. I thought prices would only range by 3% or a few cents. I was very wrong. Later I found out that only a few people are really manufacturers or buy direct from manufacturers. Fewer suppliers are real importers of products. Most buy from wholesalers themselves and then resell the products to other wholesalers or retailers.

Later on, when I visited current suppliers of my customer I renegotiated prices and told him I knew the "other" suppliers' prices. After a few meetings I managed to lower prices by as much as 50%. Now, to give you a good perspective, my customer had been purchasing from these suppliers for 12 years and with these new prices his profit doubled. Needless to say my customer was very happy and very surprised.

Here are some tips and techniques you can apply immediately to lower your wholesale purchasing prices.

Get to the source:

What does this mean? It means you should know who the original source is for the products you are buying, especially if those products are not name brand items. For example, if you are buying t-shirts you should know who makes the t-shirts and where, who imports them, who prints the design if they have one, what is the material and who is selling it and where. Don't just buy 1,000 t-shirts because they tell you they are "good sellers". Make sure you know where they come from.

Even if you are buying closeouts you have to make sure who else sells them and who is the source. I've bought and sold a lot of closeouts in my time and let me tell you, they are closeouts for a reason. Even popular closeout websites that claim they are selling closeouts or liquidations are expensive. I check out their prices often and they are usually wholesalers selling products for a good profit.

Knowledge will be the key to your products. If you know what you are buying and the real prices of production, transportation, warehousing you will be able to negotiate with your suppliers. If you don't, you will usually pay up to 150% more for the same items that others are buying in the same quantities.

Here are 5 questions that you can ask your wholesale supplier that will help you determine the right wholesale price:

1. What is the real retail price of the item and where does it sell for that price?

2. Who is selling it to those Retail Stores and how much profit does the store make and their supplier? This will give you an idea of how much the store pays and how much the store supplier pays.

3. What is the price per case, per pallet and per truckload? This will give you an idea of their best pricing.

4. Who is your best customer? How much do they buy per month? This will tell you who gets the best price for the product.

5. Do you manufacture or import this product? This will tell you if they are the original source for the product or, if, like you, they are a wholesaler or distributor.

Copyright ® Jorge Olson 2006 <bio>Jorge Olson is a consultant, speaker and entrepreneur and owns several Wholesale Distribution companies.
When you are looking for cheap holiday airplane tickets, the first thing you need to know is flexibility is the best way to find cheap airfare. The more flexibility you have the better your chances are for finding affordable airfare. If you can leave for your trip any time, then you will find some deals on airfare and hotel accommodations. There is many times that looking for airfare that is the lowest. You will find that airlines sometimes reduce prices of airfare so they can get more people on one plane that is leaving almost empty. This is the best tip for traveling and finding low airfare prices.

Know the price of airfare for every airline. If you know what the price of a ticket or even of accommodations is normally, you will see that checking travel sites will produce many reduced prices at different times. Know the price of the ticket normally and look every day or every week to see when the airlines discount tickets to attract more travels. This is done fairly regularly by the airlines. The best time to find discounted tickets is during the off seasons for traveling. Many locations are beautiful to visit when there is little tourism.

Travel when the time is right for you. Plan your travel plans around the cheapest times and days of the year. This means that if you want a vacation and have flexibility, weekdays and certain times of the year are great for finding cheap holiday destinations. You could travel to Gran Canaria during the week of October and more than likely find a cheaper cost than what you would have during the summer on a weekend. It is all about timing when you are looking for the best travel arrangements with cheaper prices. The best time to depart is at night when most people are sleeping.

Buying tickets and booking accommodations in advance can provide some discounts and savings to the traveler. If you watch the prices and buy tickets in advance, you will save some money. This is true of hotels. Many hotels have slow times of the year and will lower the rates. As the hotel starts booking more rooms, they will raise the prices. Booking a trip in advance will allow for a savings more so than booking the day before a trip unless the airlines is trying to fill the plane.

Always use a travel site that updates prices of airfare, hotels and packages daily. This is a great way to find the cheapest prices for your travel plans. If you can have email alerts from the site, that will give you advantage for knowing when something you are looking for as been discounted. Cheap holidays to destinations all over the world can be had for discount prices if you follow these five tips. All you need to do is be flexible and have some time to wait out the prices or the season. Travel when others are staying home because of school or other family responsibilities.<bio>if you are looking for cheap holiday airplane tickets you should read the article how to find a cheap holiday. Seized cars are normally put on auction by the state or federal agencies every quarter. Most government seized cars are obtained from individuals that have broken the law, but these types are usually the best deal for seized cars.

Usually seized cars are sold as is, so make sure you check out the vehicle as much as possible before purchasing it. If possible you also should check the Kelly blue book to get a value on the seized cars you are thinking of bidding on. Most seized car sales will allow you a quick inspection of the car before the transaction has been completed, so it's wise to have someone with"mechanic knowledge" by your side. Usually cars offered for sale in government seized car sales are clean and ready to go.

Law enforcement agencies are also a great resource to find seized cars for sale, though the Law enforcement seized car sales are held at different times for the different agencies, so timing is very important with these sales. Generally seized cars can be sold at as much as 90% off the suggested retail prices.
