Network marketing is a system of selling items to others to make money as most businesses do; however, to make the money you need to hire other employees and have them sell the item to others as well. This leads to them getting others to sell the product for them, and the more people that sell below you, the higher your profits climb for all of those involved. This may seem like an easy task, but training these individuals can be trying. Each member of your marketing team must be dedicated to selling the product and must be able to stay motivated while working with potential clients and other sales reps.

Your employees and yourself may be faced with hurdles, such as potential clients telling you no or asking questions that you may not know the answer to. Knowing how to handle these types of questions can help you to sell the product to more clients. When dealing with marketing network training, you must teach each member everything that you can about the product. One who knows more about a product can answer more questions and can sell a product faster than one who has to call in others for help.

A marketer who is excited about their job and their product will get others excited about having the product. This works for both the client and other possible employees of the network. Be sure to let your employees know that the more employees that work under them, the more money they will make themselves. Money tends to make employees very excited. Getting started in a business such as network marketing, you can become discouraged if you do not make money as quickly as you thought that you would, but given time, you will make more money and sell more products. Staying motivated may be hard at first, but it is worth the effort and your motivation will be infectious to those that work with you. Show your trainees just how they make more money by recruiting others to join the teamwork, and how they stand to profit by their recruits adding more recruits. Showing them charts or percentages may help add to the cause, as they can actually see the types of profits that will be brought in for each recruit under them.

Communication between all members of the network marketing can make operations run more smoothly. Your employees need to feel that they may speak with you regarding their jobs, products, other employees, and their lives. Promoting this type of work environment will make your company even more successful, as employees who feel their bosses are concerned with them are more likely to work twice as hard. A feeling of attachment and bond between employees will make an employee enjoy their job more.

Help your recruits stay motivated by training them appropriately. Let them know that their work is greatly appreciated by you and your company. Keep them informed of any situations that arise. Continue to add recruits and encourage each employee to find their own recruits to continue to increase everyone's profits. Good luck! <bio>Dustin Cannon, of Next Level Enterprises, LLC is a successful Internet marketer working with top leaders in the home business and Internet marketing industry.
MLM recruits are certainly not easy to find these days and closing the deal with one isn't an easy task - particularly when your downline has the closing and you don't.

Have you taught them all they needs to know to close the deal and to stave off the rejection? Have you taught them how to prepare themselves for one? Most of us don't either, yet we depend on them to build the marketers that are providing for our market. How can we help them to expand their skills so they are able to close a deal that will benefit us both?

One method which works admirably well to teach each of the MLM recruits is the cross-over approach to marketing. Rather than applying the hard sell, which does tend to make people suspicious and might will have them backing away with an eye to the nearest door; this method lets them effectively talk themselves into closing a deal with you and helping you in your own business.

Let's face it. Getting rid of the suspicions of a genuine skeptic isn't an easy task either, which is what makes a close so challenging. Here is what happens in a cross-over. The chosen recruit states "I think I like this method of selling. I'd be interested in learning more about the opportunity." You reply "That's really very surprising to me. Based on what we've talked about, I would have bet that you would not have any real interest in this business. Have I missed something somewhere?"

Rather than moving into the close and pushing gently toward it, you permitted the prospect to make the final decision and essentially at their own will. They are closing the deal for you rather than being pushed into something they have no interest in. You haven't hit them with a hard sell and you haven't compromised your principles. You have closed on an MLM recruit who may work a lot harder because they feel that the decision to become your downline was entirely their own. Help them along the way in their own business as well. When you coach them, offer tips on how they might create leads for new recruits as well as how to close the deal with those currently interested.

No matter how you slice it, some deals just aren't going to close. Teach your downlines how to deal with that possibility and how to be both gracious and professional when it happens. It will make you both look a lot better in the long run. <bio>Yoshi Kundagawa is a freelance journalist. He writes about entrepreneurs, mlm and network marketing.
6. What do you say now when someone asks you: andquot; What do you do?andquot; That's from the questionnaire all my students send in right after they sign up for my 3 Scripts (100 customers 100 days) telecourse. Here's a typical answer from a gent, a veteran in the business:

andquot;Honestly...I never know what to say. The andquot;Health Consultantandquot; line bores me. andquot;I'm a Network Marketerandquot; line turns my stomach. andquot;I'm a National Director with MY COMPANY NAMEandquot; line is responded to by yawns, mine included.

Believe it or not, I usually make something up on the spot, so I don't have to use one of those terrible opening one-liners! Crazy, but true. And then I hope that the person I am speaking to asks me what I am drinking so that I can tell them all about NAME of MY PRODUCT.andquot;

Network marketing is a business whose money-making mantra is:

Talk to people: Talk to people: Talk to people.

And yet no company nor its trainers give new recruits any usable instruction on what they should say to people about what they do, what they market, or how they make income (for when they're talking to potential sales reps.)

At Starbucks, the new recruits get 20-25 hours training learning to make 33 basic drinks and another 30+ variations before they set foot on the floor. All that to earn $6.75/hour. So for 10 hours/week, the new employee earns about $200/mo. And that's AFTER they have demonstrated that they know how to make 33 drinks and the variations.

How much income is it, again, that they offer recruits in network marketing for working say 10 hours/week? Was that $1000/mo? Or $5000?

And how much time did they train you in how to talk to people? Did you ever have to demonstrate that you know what to say to people in all the different situations you come across them in? Scripts are kind of like drinks, aren't they?

Short, sweet, customized to you, with different ones for different situations.

Of course, this situation gives me a little business so I can fill in the gap.

Wonder why this is considered so unimportant, though, by the powers that be.

Especially with a 102% drop out rate. <bio>Kim Klaver is Harvard andamp; Stanford educated.
The introduction of the multilevel marketing (MLM) system into the United States market in the early 1940s brought about a lot of controversies. A lot of people thought that it is impossible to set up community based distribution outlets for products and that the MLM system is bound to fail before it can even hit its target market. After more than 60 years after it was first introduced, the MLM system is still very much alive in the country. In fact, a good number of people who took advantage of the MLM business opportunity earned good money. According to experts, there are a few people who became quite rich because of this system.

Online MLM business

The advancement of technology brought the MLM business opportunity to a new plane. Where the traditional MLM business opportunity would require the distributor to physically sell the products of the company to his or her clients, now, he or she can sell the products of the company online and still earn commissions. Furthermore, if an MLM member would like to build his or her own network, he or she can recruit members of his or her team online. Product orientations are also done online so there is less pressure on the part of the member to physically bring his or her recruits to the company's training sessions.

Now, just because you can now work on MLM business opportunity online doesn't mean that you can become rich overnight. Always bear in mind that selling products and building teams take time. You need to invest a lot of time and effort to get things going. For instance, if you want to build your team online, you should always keep in touch with your recruits and let them know that you are really to help them in any way you can. You need to constantly update then of the activities of your team and encourage then to work on their business. Always remember that the MLM system is designed to work best when your team is strong and your sales are high. The more people who generate sales from your team, the higher income you will have.

How can you maintain close contact with your recruits online? If you want to make the most out of an MLM business opportunity, you should at least have a computer with a fast internet connection. Use your computer to send emails to members of your team. Having an instant messaging system will also help you a lot in maintaining active communication with the members of your team. You may also write newsletters which you can send to members of your team. News letters are effective when it comes to keeping the members of your team abreast with the latest developments of the company. <bio>Start your own home business and earn multiple streams of income online.
Network marketing is not the perfect business that will fit every business person's personality or interests. It's also not always 100% fail-safe. For every 10 that enters this business, nine will fail and only one will reap the rewards. Avoid becoming just a statistic and learn the top 6 reasons why some people fail in network marketing

The Expectations Are Unachievable

People who want to get rich quick should play the lottery or go into the jewelry business. They should not focus their efforts on network marketing. True, the network marketing business can be very rewarding but a get-rich-quick scheme it is not.

Anyone going into network marketing must be ready to put in some effort to grow it. It won't grow on its own. Network marketing is just not a business for the lazy. People fail in network marketing because they don't see it as a business they have to work on. They also have expectations that are too unrealistic even for the more experienced to attain.

They Fail To See It For The Opportunity

Some people fail in network marketing because they look at a $49.95 deal and treat it as a $49.95 business. The result? They get no more than what they expected because they view it as an expense -- a rather cheap one at that.

Every network marketing business represents an opportunity for the business owner or network marketer. If they can't see it for the business that it is, they will continue to treat it with little enthusiasm. It's a potential that they miss out on simply because they had the wrong view.

They Try To Reinvent The Wheel

Network marketing is a wheel that has been invented and implemented a long time ago. Since network marketing involves only the replication of strategies, there really is no need to try to change anything.

This replication is critical to success. People fail in network marketing because their network cannot replicate the system that is already in place -- the same system that worked just fine for the sponsors. The result is that downlines and new recruits become disenchanted and give up, since nothing they do seems to work.

They're In It Only For The Money

There is nothing wrong with having money as a driving influence in network marketing. After all, that's really the reason why people work or go into business anyway.

However, they forget that they have a business to run and that they should focus on showing potential customers and new recruits the advantages of their business so they can build it from the ground up. Network marketing is about building relationships and using those relationships to drive a business. Focus too much on the money and you'll fail in bringing people in.

They Focus On The Wrong Aspects Of Business

Another reason why people fail in network marketing is because they use their resources on activities that do not improve their business at all. Administrative tasks, for example, can take up a lot of time. But in the bigger scheme of things, it won't impact the business at all, especially not one that is already established.

They Fail To Network

This is probably one of the biggest mistakes anyone can make in network marketing. By failing to build a strong support system, they not only fail to bring in effective recruits, they also fail in establishing a solid foundation.

The lack of a good foundation is one of the reasons some people fail in network marketing. A networking business grows by spreading exponentially and without the right recruits, this is just plain impossible to achieve.

To learn more about network marketing and discover what most marketers will never know about using the Internet to create lifelong financial independence, follow the link in my resource box now.<bio>Kevin Tyler Smith is an expert Internet network marketer.
If you are in direct sales, it is extremely important that you grow a healthy downline. Not only are you building a relationship with your customers through sales, but you should build a healthy relationship with your sales team. Here are 7 tips to generating a strong downline and keeping your direct sales business growing every day.

TIP #1: GET PERSONAL Your downline wants to know who they are working so hard for. Send a monthly newsletter will sales tips, monthly numbers, top salesperson, etc. Offer a free forum or chat group to your team so everyone can share ideas and offer support to one another.

TIP #2: BE AVAILABLE Schedule time to speak with your sales team often. Constant contact will show them that you care. This gives your team a chance to share their concerns, thoughts and ideas with you. It also allows them the opportunity to ask questions.

TIP #3: HOLD A CONTEST Offer prizes or free services to new recruits. Offer special discounts or coupons to the team member who recruits the most new partners.

TIP #4: WRITE ARTICLES Article marketing provides an avenue for free web site traffic. Write five articles, linking to a web site where your products are sold, then submit them to various free article directories.

TIP #5: EDUCATE YOUR TEAM Provide your current sales team with powerful information about your business and products. By educating your sales team, you will create an aura of excitement. This excitement pushes your team to recruit their acquaintances into this wonderful opportunity for self-based employment.

TIP #6: LOSE YOUR MIND Sometimes the silliest ideas are the ones that often get noticed in sales. If you've been playing it safe, get crazy with promoting your business. Print fliers, bookmarks, calling cards, booklets, etc. Go door-to-door and promote your business and sales opportunity. Focus only on promoting awareness of your business instead of sales.

TIP #7: DON'T STOP It has been said many times that for every 9 "no's" you get, you'll get one "yes." Don't stop promoting recruits, regardless of how many "no's" you've had this far. Eventually someone will say, "Yes!" Sometimes the squeakiest wheel is the one that gets oiled! <bio>Stefanie Fauquet is the owner of http://www.workathomemomonline.com -- A Site Devoted to Helping Moms Make Money in Direct Sales. The reasoning behind the failure describes that the majority of money is focused on distributor recruitment with no concentration on market limitations. Essentially, the increase in sellers does not mean a rise in sales, if product demand has increased as well.

All businesses should be aware of these two items: market saturation and the principle of supply and demand. These two items will determine the success or failure of any business. The essential problem with many multilevel marketing companies is there's no one examining the numbers of their sales department. The problem will compound with market saturation, and layoffs and product disposal will occur within the company.

The following example will examine recruitment incentives of a multilevel marketing company. The company provides $100 for each new team of 10 recruits and another $50 if those 10 recruits bring in another 10 to the team. A second round has brought the total to 1,000 and each of these people brings in 10 more recruits. At this point, there are now so many people trying the sell the same product that recruitment will be dramatically reduced for the company. Additionally, the money going to recruitment will ultimately become the downfall of the company as well.

A person considering this type of home-based opportunity needs to closely examine the following items: the product itself and how popular it's with the public, customer and company loyalty issues, look at the company's recruitment efforts and the structure of the network. The person looking at this business opportunity should realize that some customers are loyal to one company, despite a more reasonable price on the same product. The person investigating such opportunities should always ask plenty of questions concerning these items before making a final decision. Additionally, a journal should be kept of both the questions and the answers from investigations into these home-based opportunities.

Additionally, the person interested in a home-based multilevel marketing position should sift the fiction from the fact. A recruiter will usually mention the product is needed and wanted by the public, which may be true but a purchase may require some further research to accomplish that task. The person considering this position needs to also look at those in the upline or those who are preceding recruits. These people in the upline will determine an interested person's success or failure, and eventually affect their status and profit as well.

Finally, a decision on such an opportunity should be done after all the facts are available. There are many home-based multilevel marketing companies out there. The interested person should examine as many as possible, and take plenty of time for the final decision. <bio>Dustin Cannon, of Next Level Enterprises, LLC is a successful Internet marketer working with top leaders in the home business and Internet marketing industry.
Many people do not understand what an MLM is so we will take a quick look at what exactly an MLM is and how it can be a beneficial to you to run one.

Simply put an MLM is a multi level marketing business that is often used to draw people in to sales. Many franchises like to use multi level marketing to do sales of things like; beauty products, vitamins, books, or any other item that is generally well accepted and wanted or needed. A traditional MLM also offers the opportunity to sell the company to other people as well. This means that you will sell products as well as recruit others in to sell products. This is often called your downline and you will make money off of what your downline sells. The people above you are often referred to as your upline and they make money on what you sell as well as on what your downline sells. In most MLM programs you can have a downline of up to seven, sometimes more, that you can receive payment from.

While all of that sounds really great many people are concerned that MLM's are illegal. This is often because it is hard to determine a legitimate business over something like a pyramid scheme. One sure way to know if the multi level marketing is a legitimate business or not, is to understand that a business will not pay you only for new recruits. A pyramid scheme is one that often sounds very much like a multi level marketing business only they do not sell anything, or they sell very little and require you to buy more products then you can sell. Most pyramid schemes also can require you to bring in a certain amount of recruits before you can be paid. Another give away to pyramid schemes is that many times you will be required to pay for all your own training or marketing materials. Pyramid schemes are illegal in almost every country.

There are several types of multi level marketing plans. A few of the more well known plans are: Unilevel, Matrix, and Binary. The unilevel plan is the plan where you have managers and then everyone else below them. There is often a multi level payment plan involved in these where the more money you pay for this business the higher you are in the company. This means you make more money on sales as well as more money on your downline. The matrix plan involves sharing your recruits with others who did not sponsor them into the program. The binary plans require you to get paid in cycles. This means that you will only get paid when you get the required amount of sales required.

When choosing an MLM you want to be very careful, it is often thought that most MLM's are designed to make the company money and making the distributor fail. This often occurs because multi level marketing companies require you to continue to recruit other people to join the company while over saturating the market with the product line. <bio>Dustin Cannon, of Next Level Enterprises, LLC is a successful Internet marketer working with top leaders in the home business and Internet marketing industry.
Multi-level Marketing, or MLM companies rely on the recruitment of others in order to keep their marketing teams generating an income. Once you join one of these companies, you will learn how to market items online from another marketer who will take a small commission from each sale that you make. After a sufficient amount of time, you will be able to recruit additional members and earn commissions offer their sales as well. When done properly, MLM can be profitable for everyone.

Receiving the proper training is important for new members to be successful. If you are training a new recruit, providing them with as much information as possible about online marketing, targeting markets, and online research will help them become more successful. The more successful they become, the more commissions you will earn. Because some companies do not recognize new recruits as valuable members of the team, money is lost in commissions. By looking at recruits as potential income, you will be better able to train them so they can sell more products.

Depending on the products the company sells, you may have to put in more work than you bargained for. Research all companies and their products before agreeing to sell their products regardless of the commission they are willing to pay. You may find that products can only be sold in limited markets, which will limit your profits. Just because a company is willing to pay a higher commission doesn't mean you will earn more in commissions each month. You should also research how often you are paid, how many recruits you can hire, and how much you will make off of their commissions as well.

For those who enjoy spending a lot of time online, MLM is a good business to go into. Because more and more people are buying items online, you should be able to market items easily. Once you have a solid marketing campaign, you should be able to use it whenever you want for a variety of products. Some people belong to several marketing companies so they can earn even more each month.

While some online marketers rely on websites they create or by placing numerous ads in different marketplaces, you may want to stick with blogs, link swapping, and submitting articles to databases. These are all effective ways to sell a product online. Once you begin earning a steady income, you may want to recruit others to sell products as well. Contact your friends and family to see if anyone would be interested in learning how to earn a living online. You can also post ads, or contact other marketers to see if they have anyone who would be interested.

MLM is an effective way to market any product online. As long as you have the patience to learn more about the company and its products, you will be able to find companies that offer fair commissions and the opportunity to recruit new members. Earning a living in this home business is fun, rewarding, and challenging at the same time. <bio>Ilka von Holtz is member of the highly profitable PlugInProfitSite which promotes affiliate marketing.
If you enjoy using the Internet, why not sell products online? Many companies who advertise online rely on those who are able to post ads that get noticed. Each time you post an ad, you are increasing the company's exposure. For each sale that is made through ads that you post, you earn a commission. Commissions are paid weekly or monthly depending on the company's payment policy. Even if you already have a full-time job, multi-level marketing is a way to earn additional income.

When looking for a company to work for, you should consider many factors. The first is how much they are offering in commissions. The second is how much they will pay you to recruit others to sell products. The third is how often they pay. And the fourth is how difficult it will be to sell these products online. Some products naturally sell better online than others. It is important to find products that appeal to wider audiences instead of focusing on one or two markets that might not be profitable. Research all possibilities online first before agreeing to become a member of the sales team. You can also try to find other marketers and ask their opinions before signing up.

Recruiting others to sell the products you are selling will result in additional commissions each month. For each sale they make, you will earn a small commission. This can add up over time, especially if you have a few recruits and you have trained them well. Making sure recruits are happy and earning a steady profit will be beneficial to you as well. Being around to answer questions, offer encouragement, and help new recruits whenever possible will result in more sales. When you recruit new members, make sure they are as serious as you are about earning money online. Only those who actively place ads will earn commissions.

Before agreeing to sell goods and services from a company, you need to also make sure that the company is legitimate. If the company asks you to invest some of your own money in training or other costs, you should find another company. Only work with companies that want to help you succeed and will provide free training in return for your willingness to sell their products. Some companies require that you have experience in online sales, which others require that you have a website. Some companies do not have any requirements at all. It depends on the types of products they sell and how much time they invest in their training.

MLM can be a very profitable business for those who enjoy finding places to market products online. Depending on how successful you are, the commissions you earn can be substantial. Make sure you can devote a few hours each day to marketing the products in order to earn as much as possible. While some markets may be profitable now, they might not be in a few weeks. Constant research is needed when you want to be successful in the long term. <bio>Ilka von Holtz is member of the highly profitable PlugInProfitSite which promotes affiliate marketing.
The "mistake" of mixing product offer with recruitment is one of the prime reasons why a downline fails. It doesn't work, it's never worked, and it never will work.

The cynic in me says that the reason it's taught that way is that the product is so overpriced that the MLM company fully realizes the only people who'll buy it is recruits at "wholesale" price. In truth, there is no true consumer market for these products.

There are a whole bundle of practices that many MLM companies teach that are counter-productive to survival, let alone to success. And I have to say that even though 95% of mainstream small business fails, it still provides better strategies than MLM teaches.

I fervently believe that mainstream strategies sell a lot more product, and that out of those customers you can select committed "product-o-philes" who will form a high-performing, sustainable downline. In fact most times they'll identify themselves to you. The "pull" method of marketing instead of the "push" method.

The "in your face" (or even subtle) sales pitches of MLM simply repel people. So people in network marketing really need to study how professional sales people go about networking, prospecting, and selling, and move in that direction.

Most countries have a government department which is dedicated to supporting small business and provide low-cost or free business and marketing training (e.g. Small Business Administration in the US). That can be a great place to start when you're doing your best to figure out what works, and what is basically BS.

You hear pure internet marketers talking about "the list" and "the gold is in the list". The "list" or "data base" is a list of people who've given you permission to stay in touch with them.

These are people who visit your web site for instance, and click on a form to leave their name and email address with you, specifically giving permission to email them in future.

Of course they're only going to do that if you present them with an irresistible offer, which will usually be a free information product that you've done enough research on to know that your target audience would just about walk over broken glass to get hold of.

From then on you email regularly, each time giving them more snippets of great information, demonstrating expertise, earning trust and respect, and in fact building a solid relationship with your target market.

These people are far more likely to take up offers on particular products that you might recommend. If you're sending out a newsletter, they're far more likely to click on links that take them to your web site for more information, or to actually purchase product.

The people who actually purchase from you would go on a special separate data base also, because you want to intensify your relationship with them - take it to the next level. Some of them will put themselves forward as possible recruits - perhaps not blatantly, but by writing to you with a fantastic testimonial for instance.

So the steps are:

1 Build the relationship 2 Convert some of those to sales 3 Convert some of those to recruits (and of course these recruits are more likely to have "stickability" than someone you've chosen merely because they had a pulse and $50 or whatever to sign up with).

End result: you sell a lot more product in the long run, you enjoy your target market a lot more, you build real relationships with potential recruits, and you get to pick out people who really do have the ability, the passion for the product, and the commitment to build the business. Best of all, you've already been training them in a strategy that works because they've been part of the process from the beginning. So you're going to build downlines that have a chance at not just surviving, but thriving.

You might see fellow network marketers building fast downlines with "hundreds" or claiming that, but in fact it's all BS. Most of those downlines fail right from the start. It's a lot better to build your downlines slowly and solidly, so they're sustainable and provide true ongoing passive income. <bio>Michael is the author of the Best MLM Resource blog http://Best-MLM-Resources.blogspot.com where you can get more MLM tips, wit, and wisdom.
MLM, or Multi-Level Marketing, is a way of selling goods and services through a network of people who earn a commission on their personal sales and on the sales made by everybody in their network. Recruiting others into a distributor's network and training them to sell and recruit is therefore an important aspect of MLM. On joining an MLM company you will ideally be shown how to market items online by your sponsor who will earn a small commission from each sale that you make. (For some reason, not all sponsors actively engage in coaching new recruits, so it is a good idea to search for a sponsor who will offer you full support.) After a sufficient amount of time, you will have become proficient enough to begin recruiting members into your downline. Now you can earn commissions from their sales as well as your own. Thus, when it is done in the right way, MLM can be profitable for everyone actively involved, and because there is no rigid "pecking order" every new recruit has the chance to build a much bigger organization than his sponsor.

However, training is essential if beginners are to become successful. A good MLM business will provide its recruits with a viable training system which is regularly updated and can be tapped into by members wherever and whenever they wish. If you are in a position to train new recruits, give them your full attention and provide them with as much information as possible about Internet marketing and teach them how to conduct online research so as to help them become successful =96 remember, making your downline successful will greatly benefit you too. The more successful they become, the more commissions you will earn.

Too many companies regard new recruits as little more than short term assets and fail to invest in them as valuable members of the team. But by failing to invest the time and money in training recruits, many MLM companies or sponsors lose valuable commissions. Instead, by looking at recruits as potential income, you will be better able to train them so they can sell more products. After all, just one well trained recruit could produce tens of thousands of dollars in sales and commissions.

Before you join an MLM company, find out how much commission you will earn when you sell their products. You may discover that certain products can only be sold in narrowly defined niche markets, which will limit your potential earnings. Just because a company pays higher commissions doesn't mean you will end up earning more in commissions every month, either. You should also research how often you will be paid, and whether or not you have a choice of payment options (direct deposit, cheque, Paypal etc). Take a look at the downline structure too and find out how much you stand to make in commissions as your team grows through several levels. Talk to your potential sponsor and inquire about the training that will be provided.

If you are one of those people who enjoys spending a lot of time online, MLM could well be the ideal business for you to get involved with. More and more people are buying items online, so it is becoming less and less difficult for ordinary people to market items alongside the big, established companies. Once you have a built up enough experience to launch a successful marketing campaign, you will be in a good position to earn a regular income from the Internet. You will be able to use your marketing campaign again and again with a variety of products. You will also be in a good position to pass on your knowledge to your new affiliates and show them how to succeed. I would say that one of the key skills of MLM marketing is effective communication with new members, teaching them how to replicate your success.

Of course, different online marketers favor different marketing methods. Some create their own website, others concentrate on placing numerous ads on suitable sites across the Internet. Other options include blogs, link swapping, and submitting articles to databases. Whatever their individual preferences may be, most Internet marketers would agree that these are all effective methods of online marketing. Ideally, you should be in a position to help your affiliates to master the basics of these marketing methods. You will gain that knowledge by joining an MLM company that offers good training, and by your own experience.

Joining a good MLM company and learning how to make money working from home on the Internet is a very rewarding experience. So, look before you leap and choose a good MLM company. Then have the patience to learn everything you can about the company and its products, how to market them and how build and nurture your downline. That way, you will give yourself the best chance of earning a living from home while having fun and making a lot of new friends at the same time. <bio>David Hurley writes articles on Internet marketing strategies and publishes a free Internet marketing newsletter which is available at: http://grasp-the-nettle.com. </bio>

The DVD is free and it features a recorded meeting in which Randy Gage discusses the benefits to starting your own network marketing business.

You can show it to people you are thinking of recruiting as part of a down line for your business, no matter what your business consists of. The presentation is generic and geared toward general MLM opportunities, not anything specific so it will work for everyone.

Duplication Nation is another resource by Randy Gage that involves a set of disks that teach the watchers how to find quality recruits, qualify the recruits for your down line, how to make presentations that attract recruits to your business, how to bring them into the business in such a way that they are inspired to recruit members of their own and how to teach them how to be a successful recruiter just like you have become. There are twelve disks (you can get it on CD or DVD) and costs between $177 and $477 depending on how many materials you want included in your package.

The Fast Track Pack is another network marketing training tool that teaches distributors how to be "business people." The pack includes three CDs, "What You Need to Know First," "Getting Started" and "Secrets of a Dynamic Day" a booklet entitled "First Steps" and a "Check Out The Biz" DVD. When you order the Fast Track Pack you can also get the "How to Build a Multi-Level Money Machine" for ten dollars.

How to Become an MLM Rock Star is a set of five CDs that gives information on how to build an organization that grows rapidly. This set of CDs will teach listeners who to get potential clients' phone numbers, how to sell them your product and has retail selling tips as well. It also teaches people how to lead their down lines and create a company that spans city limits, how to handle stalls in sales and how to grow your recruitment by leaps and bounds.

There are plenty of network marketing training materials available. Most of them are done by Randy Gage who is a guru in the network marketing training field. This is a man who has built an entire business out of network marketing training! <bio>You can read our Unbiased, expert review of articles like http://www.MLMreviewKings.com/ethnicexpressions.html from Brian Garvin and Jeff West at http://www.MLMreviewKings.com. his article may be used royalty free provided bio and links remain intact.
Multi level marketing and affiliate marketing are two names for two similar opportunities. MLM is where a person signs up to sell products for a company for a commission. To help supplement their income they may also recruit new members who sign up under them and they make a commission off their recruits' sales, too. With affiliate marketing the only difference is that a person usually signs up for a company that sells other companies products.

Affiliate lead marketing MLM network is a way of generating leads for both types of programs. This can be a very beneficial way to gain business and make money. Through generating these leads a person is solely looking for people who are wanting to sign up under them for the opportunity.

Finding affiliate lead marketing MLM network leads is something a person really needs to do in these programs. That is because it can greatly boost their income to sign up people under them.

This process of signing up recruits can also be called residual income. Residual income is income that is made through doing something one time. In this case the one thing a person does is sign up a new member. Then from that point on any money those new members make will in turn make them money too.

Through getting leads a person is connecting with people who are interested in becoming part of the MLM opportunity. They are finding people who are going to want to sign up and who are going to help them make money.

Both affiliate programs and MLM opportunities are a great way to make a nice income. They both take work, such as getting leads, but they can produce a great income and once established practically make money without a lot of work involved because of the residual income opportunity built into each of these business opportunities. <bio>Anna Hugi is a sole parent of three young boys.
The chief reason for the survival of Multi-level marketing companies is the claim that there's plenty of opportunity for the participants to make money. They claim that they can lead you to complete financial independence even if you start out by earning some extra part time money or MLM income.

The reason so many people are attracted to multi-level marketing companies is undoubtedly because of the fantastic returns they claim to offer. For instance they supposedly offer their consumers a viable part-time MLM income, or an extraordinary MLM income which is much greater than those offered by businesses or other professions. Ironically, this is the greatest defense of the companies when faced with charges of pyramid scheme fraud, manipulations and false promotions.

The question of legitimacy of this business affects the future and prospects of nearly 5 million new recruits in North America alone, and those of many more in several other countries of the world. The legitimacy is of course, based on the honesty or falsity of the MLM income claims.

According to a recent survey, 99% of all sales representatives each year among the companies surveyed earned less than $14 a week in rebate MLM income, before the deduction of business expenses, purchase of inventory and tax. On top of that, the MLM distributors had no average net income on the basis of door to door "retail" sales. Consequently, all the people who join these schemes end up suffering from a financial loss.

The MLM companies only disclose the number of active participants, and the MLM income figures for a period of one year or less. Thus nothing is known about the actual average incomes or the losses incurred by the new investors. In this way, they manage to hide the actual rates of failures. It's shocking to note that, the failure rates would turn out to be even greater if all the participants over a period of 5 years were to be considered. It will then be obvious, that less than one in one thousand manage to make any profit, if at all.

The "apparent" successes in MLM are part of the same small group who are positioned every year at the top of the recruitment organization. Most of the participants suffer greater losses due to the strategies employed by these MLM companies, than because of competition or their personal endeavors. The cumulative loss of the people indicates a flow of money away from several million people in the USA to a handful of owners and recruiters.

Needless to say, this transfer of income is also responsible for damaging factors such as credit worthiness, degradation of communities, leading to general impoverishment. There being two categories of MLM income opportunity, namely, rebate income and retail sales income, it is the latter that gets greater publicity, where rebates, commissions and bonuses are paid out on the purchases by "downline" recruits.

The companies claim that this source has "unlimited potential" since payment can be obtained from an endless chain of recruits. All distributors are allowed to recruit others by MLMs, and qualified distributors are allowed to receive rebates on the purchases made by the multiple levels and ever increasing number of recruits.

Thus to conclude, not only is the generation of MLM income or profits a myth for most people, it is a downright loss for the majority of participants mainly because of the marketing and sales strategies employed by MLM companies in the first place.<bio>Learn more about Brian Garvin and Jeff West at Internet Marketing Review Kings and MLM Review Kings today.
Do you want to know why your prospects aren't buying from you? There are three R's or three things you need to understand if people walk out that door and don't purchase from you. Most people are wearing a badge that says convince me, help me make a good decision. They need and want help. They want to be confident in making the right choice. That is what a great persuader does.

The first R is reason. You didn't give them a reason to buy. Maybe you didn't generate enough interest. Or there wasn't a need, a want, or a desire from your prospect. Your prospect has their own reason to buy. And you see this with rookie salesmen. The rookie gives them a laundry list of reasons to buy the product. This sucks the energy out of your prospect, loses the emotion of the sale and usually uncovers one reason not to buy. You must always find the one or two main reasons why they want to buy.

This reminds me of a story of tapping into someone's reason to buy. Airman Jones was assigned to the induction center, where he advised new recruits about their government benefits, especially their GI insurance. It wasn't long before Captain Smith noticed that Airman Jones was having a staggeringly high success-rate, selling insurance to nearly 100% of the recruits he advised. Rather than asking him about this, the Captain stood at the back of the room and listened to Jones' sales pitch. Jones explained the basics of GI Insurance to the new recruits, and then said, "If you are killed in a battle and have a GI Insurance, the government has to pay $200,000 to your beneficiaries. But, if you don't have a GI insurance and get killed in the battle, the government only has to pay a maximum of $6000." "Now," he concluded, "which group do YOU think they are going to send into battle first?"

REASON

Interest Need Want

The second R is resources. Maybe they didn't have the time for your product. Maybe they didn't have the money; maybe they didn't have the support. Support could be from a spouse, a peer group of friends that if they brought your product or service home that they would not support him. The last aspect under resources is ability. Maybe they can't even use your product. If you're trying to sell an annual ski pass to a rest home, they might not have the ability to use it.

RESOURCES

Time Money Support Ability

The third R is the rep. That's you as a person. Did you not develop a trust? Did you not create rapport? Did you have the wrong type of style? Were they analytical, were they social? You could have used the wrong type of motivation. Or it could be what I call persuasion pitfall. Where you pushed a little to far or you said something where they felt like they were getting trapped into a corner. And this is the pitfall. And I know this has happened to you.

You go into a store and someone says the wrong thing or they push a little to far and it just doesn't feel right and you leave and never go back to that store. And that's what could be happening to you if you're hitting the wrong buttons. So take a look at those three things, which are critical to understand why your prospects don't buy.

REP

Trust Rapport Style Pitfall

APPLICATION QUESTIONS

What is the greatest reason people should buy your product/service?

When someone says your product is too expensive. What is your response?

When you have a conflicting style with a customer, what can you do? <bio>Everyone persuades for a living.
Marketing network set up begins with motivation and direction. For those involved in an MLM system of business, sales rely on recruitments, meaning getting the word out about the business, its objective(s), and the products and/or services being marketed. Finding the right people to help pitch these products and promote the distributor and companies that are marketing these products and/or services ensures success in sales and profits.

Unlike pyramid schemes, which are identified by the accummulation of profits and gains based on the number of signed recruits (an illegal practice, according to the Federal Trade Commission), Multi-Level Marketing achieves financial success and business growth through the amount of products sold in a certain fiscal period, or services satisfactorily rendered to clients or customers. Marketing network set up, then, requires compiling a list of recruits, or distributors, who push sales. Having people in place who are inteerested and motivated to do this should a primary concern; sales cannot be achieved without people to vend said products and/or services.

Another feature of marketing network set up would likely be pay for those who are participating in the MLM program. Such an incentive serves as motivation, but since the amount of payment depends on the degree of sales per fiscal period and will surely be different all the time, the amount that each distributor will receive is based on a percentage rate of the totall amount of sales. The amount will vary, but the percentage rate usually doesn't. This is considered equitable because it is consistent and therefore fair to those involved.

The difficult part to a marketing network set up, especially for new, small businesses, is getting the word out, distributing news that will hopefully attract recruits. The key to success in this venture would be to focus on target parties, those who would likely are necessarily want or need the particular projects and/or services that are being offered. Such a process can be time-consuming and even exhausting, so knowing and focusing on these target parties saves time and minimizes rejection. The secret is to success in an MLM system is not to go looking for prospects, but to get the prospects to come looking to get involved in the MLM system by choice. The solution here is to initiate effective and attractive advertising directed specifically at the target parties. In order to do this, it is necessary to know something about the target parties, so the first step would be to do research on said parties before moving forward with everything else. When targets are known and established, the lists are made for recruitment possibilities.

In the end (or rather the beginning) marketing network set up is probably the most critical and essential stages of the entire MLM process because people make it all happen. A play cannot be performed without actors and actresses to conduct the separate but equally important parts to carry everything from beginning to end. Successful business is the exact same way. <bio>Dustin Cannon, of Next Level Enterprises, LLC is a successful Internet marketer working with top leaders in the home business and Internet marketing industry.
Many new teachers will be preparing to set off for exciting new locations to take up teaching positions in September. I have already posted some entries about culture shock and how the teachers need support during their period of adapting to a new way of life. But the truth is that a proportion of teachers will have accepted posts from schools they know little about and they run the risk of being exploited by unscrupulous employers who know that they are vulnerable.

So what should a reputable school do to reassure its new recruits that they have nothing to fear? This is essentially a communications and contractual issue. First, the school needs to communicate as fully as possible with the teacher, providing as much information in advance as possible.

Let's suppose a teacher has been recruited by an employment agency. The teachers will have had no direct contact with the school and so could be taking an enormous risk. But the school should send the teacher full documentation to allay any doubts. Send the school brochure, testimonials from other teachers and students and information about the area and its customs and facilities. If possible send contact details for existing or former teachers so that the prospective teacher can talk to somebody with experience of the school. If accommodation is provided, send photographs and a map showing its location and distance from the school. Include a letter of introduction that explains the process fro receiving the teacher and gives any special information the teacher should have.

On the contractual side, it is important to allow the teacher a get-out clause. It really isn't in anybody's interest to try to hold teachers to a long contractual period if they are unhappy. The sensible approach is to have a one-month probationary period after which the contract can be cancelled by either side. Of course, the majority of new recruits will settle into their jobs and have a rewarding experience of a different culture. But unfortunately some will not. If teachers take care to find out about the employer and if schools are careful in sending out good information and drawing up fair contracts, many bad experiences can be avoided. <bio>Brenda Townsend Hall, a contributing editor to ESLemployment, is a writer in the fields of English for business, cross-cultural awareness and business communications.
Have you ever seen an Internet advert which goes something like this:

"SECRET, MUST HAVE INFORMATION: What MLM companies don't want you to know. They've tried to stop me but I am going to tell anyway".

I've seen a few. Is there secret information that MLM companies don't want you to have? If it is information to help you be successful, why would MLM companies keep it from you? What possible reason could an MLM company have for wanting its distributors to fail?

First off you must remember that anybody offering information on the Internet is usually doing it for a reason. Most people surf the net not to buy, but to get free information. So by offering free information the you attract people who if they like your information may then look at what you are promoting. "Secret, Must Have Information" is quite a hook and the author has positioned them self as an expert who has information that nobody else has.

Having attracted prospects, the author then attempts to distance them from their current MLM/Affiliate program by generically badmouthing all MLM companies so that the prospect will join the authors company,.

I have seen articles on how training new MLM recruits to approach their warm market is in the interests of a few top earning distributors rather than the new recruits. But how did those people get to the top? They start with their warm list and find out who they know who is interested in MLM. If people say "no", they treat it as "no for now" and stay in touch. We are all taught this, but how many really do it. Then they go to company training and opportunity meetings and make contacts upline, downline and side lines. They stay in touch.

Then they go to MLM generic training seminars. Guess what? They make contacts with people from other MLM companies and stay in touch.

It is called networking. That is why MLM is also known a "Network Marketing". Eventually they join another MLM company and because they have kept in touch with so many other networkers, they go to the top very quickly. Very few people make it to the top with their first MLM company. That is probably the only secret your upline may not tell you, but they will have taught you the skills to do it if you have listened closely.

I feel it is unfair to alienate someone from their own MLM/Affiliate company after they may have put a lot of time and effort into it. Internet techniques such as writing articles, lead providing affiliates, cross linking and advertising can assist anybody to build their own MLM/Affiliate company on-line.

Secret information? No; that is just posture. Must have information? Yes, how to position yourself is must have information; but it should be done morally and ethically. <bio>System and guide to promote your MLM company http://www.success-simplified.ws Not a secret, just good sense! They don't have to be specific and they don't have to be very expensive, but remember that MLM tools are important part of the way that you do business, and without a good understanding of them, you will find that your ability to network and be successful can be very difficult. Take a look at these common tools and make sure that you have mastered them to an extent to where using them is second nature for you.

The first and foremost among the MLM tools that you need to work with is the telephone. Many people are at least a little shy about getting on the phone and many more than that have a downright phobia when it comes to doing things like cold calling, but the sooner you get over this fear, the more successful you will be. Sometimes, practice is all it takes, but if you have friends who are willing to help you, you can practice until you feel comfortable.

MLM tools that you need to get familiar with include a voice mail system of some sort. While some MLM businesses use an answering service to make sure that your customer receives live support, you'll find that this is unnecessary as long as you are able to provide your customers or recruits with a decent response time. Make sure that your voice mail message is no longer than a minute, directly-worded and gives a general idea of when you will be getting back to them.

Another type of MLM tools that you should consider is the business card. Though you might do all of your work online, you will soon realize that there are plenty of the people you meet in real live are interested in getting in touch with you about the opportunities that you can provide. Make sure that they have a great way to get in contact with you; you never know when you are going to make a contact that will make all the difference. Some MLM businesspeople specifically get their logos imprinted on a pen or a rubber ball and pass those out instead.

You should also think about MLM tools that can be related to education. While some people simply get their recruits up to code with phone sessions, you can also use audio cassettes, CDs, and videos. The most popular current format, however, is streaming video, so check to see what this resource can do for you.

When you are looking at MLM tools, think about how much they can benefit you and help you accomplish the goals that you are interested in! This is an important facet of getting your business off the ground, and to reach your full potential, you need to have some knowledge about the tools you use.<bio>Learn more about Brian Garvin and Jeff West at Internet Marketing Review Kings and MLM Review Kings today.
