Dale's father, Ralph's son also became a racecar driver. Ralph wanted his son to take on a different path. However, Dale Sr. was determined to follow into his father's footsteps. He dropped out from school and pursued his dream.

He became successful in the Winston Cup Series, now known as the Sprint Cup. In 1979, he became the Rookie of the Year for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. He became a champion in the series for seven years. The Motorsports Hall of Fame inducted him in 2002. In addition, the inducted him in 2006.

It was evident that someone from his kids would assume his role. As it turned out, he did not only influence Dale Earnhardt Jr. but his other oldest son Kerry Dale as well. One significant character who has been given such honor is Robert Allen McAdoo. His induction in the of Fame happened in 2000.

Before he joined the NBA, McAdoo attended Vincennes Junior College and the University of North Carolina. He already played for the two schools back then. McAdoo led the Tar Heels in the National semifinals. However, they lost to the Florida State.

He qualified for the 1972 NBA draft. He started his career in the in 1972 when the drafted him. He stayed with the team, now the Los Angeles Clippers, for five years until 1977. When he joined the league, he made his presence known by winning the Rookie of the Year award in 1973. He also won the Most Valuable Player award in 1975. He made the NBA All-Star five consecutive times from 1974 to 1978.

During his first few years, he became one of the best big men shooters in the league. In his second season in the NBA, he bagged three shooting titles. In the mid seventies, many would name him as the fastest big man who ever played in the NBA.

However, there were also some down moments in his career. He was injured several times and fans and experts felt that he had only given a mediocre performance.

Many thought that his time has ended in the mid seventies. Many blame this to the other teams he joined. Most of the teams that welcomed him were not among the dominant teams at that time. He played for the after leaving the Braves in 1977. He played for the Boston Celtics in 1979. After that, he played for the Detroit Pistons and New Jersey Nets in 1980 and 1981 respectively.

However, it was not until he joined the LA Lakers that he tasted what it felt like to win NBA titles. He played for the Lakers from 1981 to 1985. Together with other great players, the team earned two NBA titles, one in 1982 and the other in 1985.

After great seasons with the Lakers, he joined the Philadelphia 76ers and played there for a year. From his first team, the Los Angeles Clippers, McAdoo played his last NBA season with the 76ers. However, he did not stop playing basketball.

He played for some European teams after the NBA. In 1990, he played for Olimpia Milano. He led the team in two European Championships. He retired after playing for Teamsystem Fabriano in 1993.

All of the that a wrestler comes up with while training for matches from week to week to meant to gain a wider viewing audience.

All of these antics are meant to be a method of showmanship but there are times when the antics get out of hand and injuries occur where none were intended. University of Michigan has the most wins, garnering 40 titles. They have been playing for this conference since 1896 then left the conference and came back again in 1907. They are famous for their achievements in football, hockey, baseball and basketball. Their college team is known as the Michigan Wolverines.

Their football team garnered 11 , the most for all of their teams. However, they have 42 Big Ten Conference Titles that have been accumulated since 1898. The following are the notable coaches for their football team:

1. - he became the coach starting the year 1901. He had the longest tenure as a coach for this team. Under his supervision, he guided the team to win 6 National Championships and 10 Big Conference Titles.

2. Glenn Edward Jr. - He was the head coach for the year 1969-1989. He did not have any national titles but he helped the team grab 13 Big Ten Titles. Despite of it all, he still became a hall of famer in 1995.

3. Lloyd Carr- He was the head coach for the year 1995-2007. With his stay in this University, he led them to win 5 Big 10 Titles. And in 1997, he led the team to win their 11th national title, breaking the silence since 1948. He won a lot of awards in his coaching years including a Paul Bear Bryant Award.

4. Benjamin Gaylord Oosterbaan- He is the head coach way back in 1948-1958. He led the team to win 3 Big Ten Titles. In 1948, he led the team to win their 10th National Championship Title. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1954.

5. Harry G. Kipke- He was the head coach of the Michigan Wolverines 1929-37. He helped the team to win four Big 10 titles. He guided the team to win two consecutive National Titles in 1932-33.

The Big 10 Conference Championship title is the most number of wins this team has. Baseball is also a game with its own terms. No-hitter is one of them. This is describes a particular player who prevents the other team from making a hit and is commonly expected of a pitcher. Not all of them have this ability but the St. Louis Cardinals pitchers did. They had nine of them who were able to make 10 no-hitters. If you want to know them, check them out below:

1. Bob Forsch- He was made two no-hitter pitches back in 1978 and 1983. He is one of the greatest pitchers in the MLB because of his ability to shutout teams and his 67 complete games. No wonder this person deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

2. - This person played for the team from 1959-1975. He pitched for the team and played for two World Series, at the same time became MVP in those wins.

3. - He achieved this when he was still a rookie. It was in 2001 that he did not allow a single batter from San Diego Padres to hit one of his pitches.

4. Jesse Haines- This person threw a no-hitter in 1924. That was the game against the Atlanta Braves. He pitched for two and he is now a member of the National .

5. Jose Jimenez- He only spent a year with the team and had his no-hitter pitch against the Arizona team back in 1999. Unfortunately, this person was tested for prohibited substances and was found to be using them. Because of this, he was kicked out from the league.

6. Paul Dean- He made the Detroit Tigers very disappointed when he made sure that none of them would hit the ball in the 1934 World Series. He only stayed with the St. Louie Cardinals for 5 years, wherein he had the best moments of his career.

7. Lorn Warneke- His no-hitter pitch occurred in 1941 with the game against Cincinnati Reds. He had another no-hitter pitch but it occurred during his playing years with The Cubs.

8. Ray Washburn-His no-hitter pitch occurred in 1968 during their match with the San Fransisco Giants. He pitched for one World Series and three National League Championships.

9. Ted Breitenstein- He threw a no-hitter in 1891 during their match against the Louisville Colonel and 1898 against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
