As MyBlogLog itself proclaims, "MyBlogLog is launching this new Communities service to empower authors and readers to operate at the same level." The purpose of MyBlogLog is to provide a community for readers of the same blog. Instead of being limited to interacting with only the author of the blog (and very limited interaction with other readers through comments), MyBlogLog allows readers to interact directly with each other. MyBlogLog is an interesting concept that is expanding. As the web site continues to grow, it should also become a quality way to drive new visitors to your blog.

As Shoemoney predicted, Yahoo purchased MyBlogLog on January 9th. According to several sources familiar with the deal, Yahoo paid between ten million and twelve million for the social blogging community. According to the guys that created MyBlogLog, Yahoo's acquisition of the web site means that it is going to pour in a ton of resources, which means that they will be able to roll out a lot of new features. Additionally, they are moving the site to Yahoo's infrastructure, which means that the occasional slowdown will be completely removed.

Although Yahoo now owns MyBlogLog, they are not going to completely absorb the web site. Instead, they are planning to keep it a separate entity. However, you will be able to register with your Yahoo ID, and the MyBlogLog communities will be integrated with Flickr and Yahoo Answers. <bio>This is the last article in my anchor text case study series, which is monitoring the impact of anchor text like http://5.tylerbanfield.com </bio>

Widget for blog is the mantra that is raging as a top favorite among the blogging fraternity. If anything, a nice piece of widget increases interactivity of a blog, and yes it does a bit of fizz and flamboyance as well. The good news is there is no dearth of widget for blog, and if you're willing to spend a little of your time, you'll be spoilt with choices.

But before that, let's see what is a widget. And what it is that is so exciting about having one or more of it in your blog.

A widget, rather a web widget, is a small chunk of code, usually a JavaScript or a Flash Script, which when embedded in a blog or website, presents a fascinating array of interactive information. The code snippet of widget comes ready for use, and so there's no need of any programming skill to get going.

For example, if you're a MyBlogLog user, you get a JavaScript widget that shows who among MyBlogLog users are recent readers of a blog or website. Yet another widget shows outgoing links that are clicked by your visitors, updated hourly.

In my blog-site, Kolkata Musing, I use a Widgetbox widget that automatically stores the recent posts. What's more, it offers readers a no-hassle ready option to include the widget of my posts in their website. Cool indeed.

Okay, what Widgetbox does is reading the rss feed of a blog, and presenting the latest entries in an eye-catching fashion. As the feed updates with addition of posts, so does the widget, wherever it may be residing.

This is pretty much the same what many other widget management systems offer, for example SpringWidgets, owned by the same company that owns MySpace. In fact if you're using the syndicated content service of FeedBurner (now owned by Google) like this blog, you may use the syndicated feed to create a widget for embedding in any website.

Wordpress, the popular blogging platform, allows a wide variety of blog-related widgets, like calendar, recent posts, recent comments, and so on that can be chosen to be shown in the sidebar of the blog.

Yet another popular widget from WhoLinked, when placed in your website, allows you to see real-time all the incoming links to it.

Now that we've good idea about what a widget for blog can be, let's see some of the popular widget management systems that are there to explore. Here's a list of them about which the readers can find out more:

1. FunAdvice Widgets 2. Grazr 3. MuseStorm 4. Snipperoo 5. SpringWidgets 6. Widgetbox 7. Widgetoko 8. Widgets Lab 9. yourminis

A Note Of Caution

Some widgets you get to see in the sites above are so cool that you may feel inclined to include quite a few of them in your site. Better don't. Not for any apparent reason, but for the fact that the script that accompanies each widget takes time to load fully, and if several of them are there, then your blog page will take lot of time to display its full content.

Remember you'll normally have other JavaScript that are important for your blog. So, use widget for blog with care. <bio>Partha Bhattacharya is an expert SEO copywriter.
It all started when I chose to 'stumble upon' my own article in my blog, Kolkata Musing. The article was a humorous post - Effect of worms and viruses - of just 16 words accompanied by a fun photo taken from Funlok that showed a skeleton of a computer mouse.

I didn't plan the action. It was a Sunday, and so I thought let me give it a try. Earlier too I 'stumbled upon' my articles in categories like Offbeat News but no noticeable traffic resulted.

The same was the trend when I tried my luck with other social biggies like Digg and 'del.icio.us'. Reason enough for me not to expect much when I made this new effort with StumbleUpon.

What happened then was simply delicious. Within 15 minutes of my posting in SU the first torrent of visitors started rushing to my site. This continued unabated for the next 2 hours.

Since I use PMetrics stats apart from MyBlogLog and Google Analytics, it has been easy to precisely track the onrush of visitors.

What did I find? Well, it proved to be a test of sorts for me using a raging social network site, and the results have been fascinating. Here are my findings recapitulating the events that ensued as the visitors came rushing in from StumbleUpon:

1 Not all categories attract instantaneous visitors, certainly not the ones like World News or Offbeat News unless the postings are truly eye-catching or jaw dropping. In welcome contrast categories like Humor or Bizarre or suchlike have comparatively high rate of success in SU. After this posting in Humor I did another in Bizarre with similar success.

2 Nothing can take away the importance of heading and description. Both should be such that there is an air of suspense in them prompting visitors to vigorously click the link to your site to find more.

3 The main action doesn't last for more than a couple of hours, which conveys to me that as long as the story remains on the first page of StumbleUpon's related category, there will be torrent of visitors. Thereafter it's a steady trickle petering out gradually.

4 Most visitors don't stay more than a minute. Perhaps that is perfectly in order because they come to a site they've never visited before, and do not find anything of more interest that can retain them longer. In all probability an overwhelming majority of these guests will never again put their feet in my site.

5 Do they click on other links, especially the ads when they are in my site? Sure they do, and for me that's very important. I've the AdSense ads that when clicked fetch me money. After the initial stampede is over, I rush to check the AdSense figures.

I first check MyBlogLog stats and I find that in those 2 hours the AdSense CTR has been 11% of the page-views, which is pretty encouraging. Or is it?

I rush to AdSense figures and there alas only 2% conversion is shown. Which leads me to believe that Google doesn't like sudden spurt in CTR and therefore filters out most of them.

6 Did I gain anything? My answer is nothing really. It'll be too naive to imagine that those visitors who came hotfooted to my site from StumbleUpon and left equally hastily would come back again remembering what a great site they have been to.

7 Did I loose anything? Oh yes, the large volume of traffic gifted by SU ate away a good amount of my precious bandwidth.

8 Will I try it again? But of course I will if only to set adrenalin pumping through my body. Who knows some visitors just may come back for repeat visits..! No harm dreaming that, don't you think? Provided of course SU doesn't put a limit to stumbling upon my own articles. <bio>Partha Bhattacharya specializes in content writing.
Having a well planned and designed MLM blog with an attractive theme and original keyword optimized content is now an important aspect of the internet marketing plans of many network marketers. Having strong pillar articles and an attractive design are not enough these days to get the MLM blog traffic required to build a large subscriber base.

For example, Technorati lists over 2,000 "MLM blogs", in their directory. A Google search for MLM blogs yields over 2,510,000 pages! In order to get significant MLM blog traffic for your MLM blog, consistently following ten Web 2.0 social power linking steps can help increase the page rank and performance of your MLM blog.

Following these steps in this order should be part of a routine schedule for each post to your blog.

1. Claim your blog at Technorati. This is an essential first step, even before you begin your post. Technorati is the "Google of blogs", with over 4,500,000 blogs in their directory. Make sure to develop and upload a strong profile that includes your picture. Then choose the appropriate tags for your niche. You can enter up to fifteen tags, so do some keyword research to find some good long tail keywords. Go to http://www.technorati.com and get started.

2. Join My Blog Log and register your blog. My Blog Log is a very large community of bloggers who network with each other and buzz each others' blogs. Again, a strong profile with a picture is important. My Blog Log is an important resource to significantly increase your MLM blog traffic. This is because you can join communities, go to other blogs and post comments and leave individual comments for members. You can install a simple widget on your blog to show all of the My Blog Log members who have visited your blog. You can also view some important statistics for your blog by going into your back office. Go to <a href="http://www.mybloglog.com" >http://www.mybloglog.com and set up your account.

3. Make your first linkbait piece. Linkbait is a post that will create a large buzz either because it has a significant resource list or is controversial in some respect. Check out Jack Humphrey's Friday Traffic Report for some excellent information and resources on linkbait.

4. Start the buzz. Make sure you have permalinks turned on. Then start making comments and trackbacks to other relevant blogs in your niche. When you leave the url for your linkbait piece permalink in your comments and trackback posts, other bloggers will come and check out your post and blog. This will increase your MLM blog traffic because you are creating links for other bloggers without asking them first. Do it well and respectfully and other bloggers will reciprocate.

5. Sign up for the major Web 2.0 news sites and Onlywire. These include but are not limited to: Digg, Propeller, Plime, and Newsvine. Onlywire is a free service that pings sixteen social bookmarking sites

6. Submit your linkbait piece to these sites. If you want to make this process as short as possible, you can use Web2Submitter, which pretty much automates the submissions.

7. Submit your piece to the vertical news sites relevant for your niche. For Internet marketing, the top two sites are PlugIM and Marktd.

8. Submit your post to Onlywire.

9. Go back and comment on other bloggers' posts in the communities, such as Digg, Propeller, Plime and My Blog Log. They will notice that you commented and voted on their posts and reciprocate. You will build your MLM blog traffic and network by consistently doing this simple activity .. 10. Join a buzz group or start one and tell your group about your linkbait piece. Ask them to buzz your piece.

Increasing your MLM blog traffic and consistently writing authoritative articles will establish you as an expert in your niche. You will attract many subscribers and then be well on your way toward building a large and profitable MLM business. <bio>Jon Roussel is a successful internet marketer in Beverly, MA He helps people succeed with a home based business that will generate a long term reliable leveraged residual income.
You might have gotten used to seeing hundreds or thousands of visitors on your site everyday, but you've also noticed a significant decrease in traffic every weekend. Experienced webmasters have learned to cope with this occurrence and not fuss about it, but for the beginner, seeing a considerable dip in his site statistics on a weekend day may be cause for alarm.

The reason for this is simple: fewer people use the Internet on weekends as compared to weekdays. Most websites =96 yes, even the popular ones =96 do experience a drop in traffic figures on Saturdays and Sundays, simply because a lot less people are on the Web searching for information or visiting websites and blogs for fresh content. But if you're really into maintaining your traffic status quo regardless of what day of the week it is, then I have prepared a few hints and tips that might be useful.

Use the Social Sites =96 A healthy dose of interaction with people in social communities will provide a big boost to your site's weekend traffic. Try posting on forums or blogs that are relevant to your niche. Social networks like Facebook, Multiply, Friendster, and MySpace can be extremely useful, as well as news sites like Digg, Reddit, and the like. If you have a blog, sites like BlogCatalog or MyBlogLog will be great venues, too. There are always a lot of people in sites like these. Plug your site in the right places and in the right way, and you can expect to see visitors on the weekends.

News on Weekends - Since I've already mentioned news sites like Digg and Reddit, I might as well expand on the topic a little more. If you can regularly add fresh content to your website during or just before the weekends and promote it on popular sites like Reddit, Digg, http://del.icio.us, and StumbleUpon, it will allow your own website to get increased traffic even after weekdays. Why? Social news sites like the ones I've mentioned above generally get lesser news on a Saturday or Sunday than they usually do during weekdays, so your new posts will get more attention.

Bloghopping =96 Actually, don't just jump from blog to blog; leave some comments, too. True, a lot of blogs don't update during weekends, but who says you can't leave comments on them anyway? And there are still several blogs that do update even on a weekend. Look for the ones that usually get relatively high traffic, read the posts, then leave a relevant comment. You'd be surprised at the amount of traffic this method can bring to your website!

Post or Publish On Weekends =96 If other blogs or websites don't update their content on weekends, be the one that does! Yes, it's true that fewer people use the Internet during weekends, but those people will appreciate seeing fresh content on your site and on their RSS feeds when they log on. If you yourself cannot find the time to post something new on a weekend, just prepare it in advance and future publish it for a Saturday or Sunday even.

There you go! If you have the time or the inclination to go for increased online traffic even on weekends, these ideas might be of help to you. Just drop me a line what you think of it or if it has helped you increase your online traffic in any way! <bio>Richard Legg is a web traffic expert and generates over 1.5 Million visitors a year to his websites. It's important to use social media tools when doing off page SEO. When you do this, you're increasing your backlinks and potential for traffic to your site.

A big part of internet marketing and SEO is social marketing. There are a lot of available free social media SEO tools that you can use to help optimize your website or blog. Search engine optimization strategies work well when they are done while taking into account that the search engines look at relationships and if the sites you want to promote have relationships with other sites, it appears that all those sites are more relevant. Social media is a tool that can help anyone who knows how to effectively use it.

When doing your off page SEO; which includes things that happen outside of your website that will help your website, look for quantity and quality and relevancy. Quantity is always good but if you bring your site 1000 visitors that are not already prequalified as being likely to be interested in what you're selling, your conversion rate probably won't be very high.

Quality is important so be sure you're attracting quality visitors. You wouldn't direct people in a gambling forum to your Christian book club and vice versa. The more likely your visitor is interested in your information or product, the better. If you're going to use social marketing tools to help your business flourish, look for relevancy and the right demographics.

Search engines do look at relevancy so there are things you can do to help your SEO efforts such as:

- Join community forums in your niche. You can find them in abundance. Post often and put your website in your signature. The community forum signature line is very good for SEO so use it to your full advantage.

- Join microblogging sites like Twitter and Plurk and network with people interested in your niche. You can post an update to new product releases and blogs. These sites may not seem like much at first glance but the more users you follow and the more that follow you, the better your traffic and SEO can be.

- If your site is a blog, join blogging networks like Technorati, MyBlogLog or Blog Catalog so people can find you based on tags and categories

- Use social bookmark tools like StumbleUpon and Digg.
For much of the year, Facebook had been in negotiation to sell itself to Yahoo. The market value of the "instant behemoth" social service sites has fluctuated, as services both large and small have changed hands this year. The first big acquisition was Newscorp's purchase of MySpace for $580 million in 2005. That set a benchmark, which was driven upward somewhat by the NBC Universal purchase of women's online network iVillage for $600 million earlier this year.

Social networking sites typically allow users to create and share blogs, pictures and videos with friends and the wider public. What makes Facebook different from MySpace? Its founder(s) set out to create a social networking site that is designed for post-high school users. It connects people by region, college, company and high school.

Build a personal profile and connect with others that are sharing your life experience as opposed to your social, entertainment and artistic interests, which are the focal points in MySpace. Facebook attempted to blend a little maturity into the energized chaos found on MySpace, and they have been successful. Their current membership is somewhere north of ten million - compared to the 145 million that MySpace claims.

The MySpace inclusion of 'artist pages' allows artists working in audio and video mediums to freely distribute media from within a social network. It has become a central feature of the network. Artist pages exist alongside individual profiles, and in addition to the regular profile features they allow the artists to upload media and distribute it in the network. Individuals can link to artist pages, endorse media, and participate as fans. This feature resulted in bands using the site to promote their music, one of the dynamics of the site that has made it so successful.

Facebook's orientation around actual communities makes it much more efficient as a connectivity tool. You can connect to anyone within your group and you can search for people across the entire Facebook spectrum. Specific interest areas are much more easily brought into focus and it is easier to build a group around them. The big question for Facebook is its relevance past the college years. The question for MySpace will be its ability to undergo a little maturation in the form of advertising and control of commercial video and music posting.

In the marketplace Facebook has had several suitors on its dance card, having held negotiations with both Microsoft and Viacom over the past year. Microsoft has in fact signed a deal with Facebook whereby Microsoft will sell and provide banner ads and sponsored links for Facebook using its adCenter online advertising software. Some medial analysts dismiss this deal as minor, citing banner adds as passé and sponsored posts as an advertising method that is showing some age as well.

In the Google corner, the company has announced a deal with MySpace to pay at least $900 million in shared advertising revenue and become the site's sole search provider. As part of the deal, Fox Interactive Media will add Google search boxes to MySpace and its other web sites. Google has first crack at selling any display ads Fox doesn't sell directly. Google has shown an ability to work partnership agreements and a willingness to settle for a piece of the action that has served them well in the feinting and blocking that occurs in the Internet consolidation ring.

Google's purchase of YouTube ratcheted up the pressure on Yahoo to close the deal. It's worth noting that Google bought YouTube with Google stock - a choice that was not open to Yahoo in their Facebook negotiations. Earlier this summer Yahoo decided that Facebook was too expensive at $1 billion and in July, came close to closing an agreement at the $800 million figure. The reported high offer of just over 1.6 billion was rejected, and now Facebook claims it isn't for sale, but if it was, it's worth at least 8 billion.

>From a financial/cultural perspective, Yahoo had a lot on the line with this acquisition because it would have significantly reshaped the portal's efforts to establish and hold a Yahoo "community." In one Yahoo corner or another, many of the features contained in both MySpace and FaceBook can be found already as Yahoo proprietary components. What is missing is the packaging and the social cachet that both social networking services hold for young people.

Yahoo has built a strategy of drawing Internet users and advertising through building community-based services on the Web, but acquisitions so far have been on a small scale. Recently Yahoo has acquired Bix, MyBlogLog and Kenet Works. Bix and MyBlogLog are built along social networking lines, and will work (hopefully) as a complement to Yahoo's current properties: Flickr, Delicious, Upcoming and WebJay. All of these have slightly different orientations: FLickr is photo-centric, Delicious is a blog tagging and sharing service and Bix is a digital karaoke and entertainment site that takes amateur uploads.

While the Yahoo / Facebook deal appears to be dead, the evolution of social networking sites is bringing several characteristics to light. There is some indication that user loyalty is a slippery issue. MySpace users are migrating to Facebook, YouTube and other sites as their primary "hookup." Average visitation time on the site has dropped by over half.

On the other hand, Media metrics firm Hitwise has released its Media Report which found that MySpace is still atop the social networking mountain, with 82 percent of visits to the top 20 social networking sites landing on their site. Whatever the figure, Yahoo's attempted purchase of Facebook would have been an expensive bet on a hot product that could cool as quickly as Friendster and others that have preceded it. Finding an advertising model that works for the Facebook is also going to be a challenge, particularly given the existing Microsoft deal to handle some ad placement for the service. Given the turbulence in the social network marketplace, the inability to close the deal may end up being a positive for Yahoo. <bio>Madison Lockwood is a customer relations associate for http://www.apollohosting.com.
It seems like just the other day we were aimlessly browsing the web in search of free and low-cost methods for posting our website links and ads. FFL (free-for-all) pages and classifieds were bombarded with eager entrepreneurs looking for quick and easy exposure.

It was about posting a few ads, submitting to search engines and making a few link exchanges. After the hard work we would sit back with excitement knowing hundreds of new visitors were on the way. Unfortunately, the visitors never showed so we moved on to banner and link exchanges.

Around that time banner ads were a fortune and website submission services were making bundles of profit. Many search engines were backlogged with submissions for weeks and sometimes even months.

Was anyone working in partnership during this time?

Today it's hard to miss the harmony of ecommerce entrepreneurs building new relationships. Smart business owners are no longer wasting time submitting their websites to free classifieds or spending their budgets on URL submissions to hundreds of useless search engines.

Instead, business owners are working together in community-oriented ways. It is easily seen by the emergence of discussion forums, blogs, RSS feeds and the overall increase in sharing of information. Today, it's about networking with each other.

Networking involves the creation of a supportive system of sharing information and services with other individuals and groups having a common interest. Not only is networking a vital part of online marketing, it is probably the most important skill for ensuring a successful online business. If you are not networking, you have no chance of making or building business relationships. If your company has no relationships than obviously no one is caring about it.

So, what can be done to improve networking skills? Here are several helpful business networking tips and resources.

Create a website. Hopefully you have done this already.

Develop an ezine. This is the same as an email newsletter. You can send it out weekly, monthly or quarterly =96 but you should be consistent.

Join affiliate programs. Focus on developing a strong network of users willing to distribute your products and/or services.

Use pod and web casts. These tools offer a great way to develop new relationships.

Create and distribute a press release. Don't underestimate the power of sending out a press release. They can bring in many new contacts.

Survey your website visitors. Create a brief form linked from your home-page for users to easily provide feedback.

Install blogs and forums at your website. Encourage free ways visitors can discuss ideas, share information and collaborate.

Join business networking sites. The following sites will help you locate new contacts. Pick and focus on 3-5 that are most ideal for your target market. LinkedIn.com, FastPitch.com, Ecademy.com, OthersOnline.com, Craigslist.com, SmallBizPod.com, MyBlogLog.com, Explode.org, Xing.com, GlobalBusinessMarketing.com, InsiderPages.com, MerchantCircle.com

Join a club. It doesn't matter which one as long as you enjoy it.

A few things to remember while building your network:

GAIN KNOWLEDGE It's all over the internet =96 you simply need to absorb it. Read=85 read=85 and then read some more!

SHARE KNOWLEDGE The more knowledge you have the more you can share. The more valuable information you can share the more positive relationships you will create. Strong relationships are the foundation to a powerful identity.

-be memorable and interesting -be accurate and fair -follow up with all of your contacts -stay patient -navigate and explore

GET INTERACTIVE!!! <bio>Thomas J.
Marketing and promotion are vital for online success. Whether you've built an online store, have an online services website or dabble in affiliate marketing you need to continually promote your site in order to steadily increase traffic and income.

This article discusses the various ways to do this without spending a fortune on pay per click campaigns and expensive advertising. Spending a bit of time and effort can go a long way in helping you improve your organic search engine results, get more traffic and make more sales. You can do it for free or for really cheap.

Search Engine Optimization

SEO is important for any business. Whether you're a blogger or an internet marketer or running an online store you need to optimize your site so that people and search engines will find you. The good news is that many cheap and free marketing methods not only bring people to your site but bring search engines as well which bring more people. SEO gone viral is key and many of the below methods will do that for you.

Do something to promote your site every day if you can. Even a few minutes spent on social marketing and bookmarking can pay big dividends.

Free Web Traffic Analysis

Free tools like Google Analytics can help you figure out where your traffic is coming from so you can continue to drive traffic up. Using free traffic tools are definitely helpful and there are many tools available. Consider also setting up Google Alerts so you're notified every time your website gets indexed. This can help you see how your efforts are doing.

Most web hosts offer you free analysis tools as well so check them on a regular basis for building on the success you already have.

Content

Continuously put content on your website. Every time you update your site the search engines will crawl your pages and further index you for your targeted keywords. Even once you hit your target goal of getting traffic, making money and top results in the search engines you'll need to continue to update your site. Static sites will eventually disappear off the first page of Google and Yahoo results.

Pick a handful of key phrases (there are loads of free online tools to help you find keywords) and write an article for each keyword. Optimize your content with those keywords.

Get the keyword in the title, in the first paragraph and in the last paragraph. Go for long tail keywords and sprinkle related or synonym key phrases into your content as well.

A great tip is to add a blog to your website. Every blog post can bring people and search engines to you. If you're worried you don't have time to write new articles all the time, consider buying private label rights (PLR) content and rewriting them.

Visit other blogs and link back to your own blog (without spamming) as this can help you increase your own blog's readership as well as improve search engine optimization.

Article Marketing

Take some of those articles you're planning to put on your site or your blog and rewrite them with new titles and different wording and add them to the article directories like www.ezinearticles.com. This can bring you search engine and human traffic and the great thing here is that article directories allow free reprints if people keep your resource box in tact.

Your article's resource box should contain anchored keywords that will increase your search engine optimization efforts but the real benefit of an article with a well written resource box are the reprints it will get from other webmasters, meaning your article will be read by ten times as many people while also bringing many more links to your site.

Social Bookmarking

Social bookmarking is the perfect way to get more traffic. Sites like Digg, StumbleUpon, Delicious, Yahoo Buzz and others are free channels for getting free traffic. These results bring in both search engine traffic and human traffic.

If you're blogging, use services that update URLS every time you post a new entry. Many services are available such as like MyBlogLog, Blog Catalog, FriendFeed and others. You can also bring in traffic when you write a new blog post, Squidoo Lens or Hub Page by microblogging on sites like Twitter, Tumblr and Plurk.

Speaking of Lenses and Hubs, consider spinning your PLR article again by putting it on one of these sites with links to your main site and affiliate links as well. These sites are free and can be monetized with Google Adsense, ClickBank, Amazon and contextual link advertising.

Community Forums

Community forums are another ideal platform for marketing on the cheap. Many offer free or low cost advertising in their market place but what's more is you can add your URL to your forum signature line which equates to a free link pointing to your website for every forum post you make. If you're a prolific poster this can translate to great SEO results for you.

Free Classified Sites

Lastly, don't forget the free classified site. These can be a great place to market your product. Some of them offer not only free but low cost paid advertising as well for home page placement.

So there you have it, site promotion doesn't have to be expensive but it does require updating your site regularly and using free strategies like those mentioned above. It's sound advice for bringing you more visitors and better organic search engine results ...and that translates to success for you.<bio>For more free website strategies, free guides and interne business advice, visit Elizabeth at http://www.homenotion.com or better yet visit her Internet Marketing Forum for candid and personal help.</bio>

If you do not have one million dollars in your pocket, you might find reading what I have to say worth a moment of your time.

I've bought my Domain Name. Now What?

First a transfer of Domain into your free account takes place on sellers end at no cost, money, time or frustration to you.

After a successful transfer (usually 12 to 24 hours) it will be up to the new owner of Domain to set the DNS (Domain Name Servers). This process usually takes less than five minutes and if purchased from 11J.com I'll be happy to help buyer with DNS or anything else for a smooth installing of a new Domain Name.

The obviously next step after purchasing a Domain Name is to build a web site for your new Domain. Easier said than done? Maybe so, but I'm about to give to you a little of my experience to iron out any bumps on this road ahead of you to web design/development. In fact, if you will take the time to carefully review the steps below you will find earnings far greater than a miserly one million dollars and this I personally Guarantee!

The Art of Web Design

There are two rules that you absolutely must strictly adhere to for success with your new web site:

1. You must have an idea for your new web site from the ground up. This means from the beginning while sitting directly in front of a blank Notepad screen, to the successful completion.

2. You must enjoy the topic of your new web site to the point of money having absolutely no bearing on the intensity of your passion for that topic.

So you don't have the foggiest idea for your new web site? Not a problem in the least, please allow me to share a piece of my experience to guide you to conquering rule #1.

Being brand new to the Internet I did not have a clue what the difference was between HTML and a web site was. Source Code? Are you kidding me?? And yet, from scratch I built not one, but three huge multi-page web sites that I am positive could have sold from anywhere between $500 and $3000! Total cost: $100 per site. Of course, not having the foggiest idea what SEO meant all three web sites flopped. Domains expired and those web sites floated off into cyberspace..

I'll get to SEO (Search Engine Optimization) in just a moment, but first for those that don't have an idea to pursue for web site design please allow me to share the two simple steps to a potential $3000 web site for your chosen topic/passion. And at a cost of no more than $100 for your new web site.

1. Go to www.ScriptLance.com.

2. Scroll through all projects listed. (I have no affiliation with scriptlance, merely sharing my experience to help others succeed).

To steal another's idea is not only ridiculous but also will put one on a path to collapse. But what can be done for those with no idea for a profitable web site is to closely glance through all projects requesting assistance to find a web site to mold around whatever ideas might come to mind. After the merging of your idea into a potential web site possibly found on scriptlance or anywhere else, a Free account must be opened to place your idea in the hands of a designer/developer.

Are you still with me? If so, it is important to realize that most designers on Scriptlance are from overseas living in third world countries. The importance of keeping this in mind is due to the fact that the US dollar has a completely different value in other countries. How much does the common laborer in China make? $0.70 per day? I've worked with the Russians, the Romainians and Indians and call tell you those I've worked with speak better English than me!
