Being forgetful about little things isn't a good sign of leading a healthy mind or good memory. These things are important in terms of allowing your mind to create its own association with the things in the past that you have been used to and the just the thought of you being on this state creates an even bigger conflict with upcoming tasks.

But let us not forget the people with commendable memory. They may have nothing in particular to worry about especially when it comes to memorization tasks, but these people still and will experience a slip of thought time and again. It may be just little things, like saying you have misplaced your keys because you have forgotten where you last put it in the first place. For you it may just be a simple "misplacement" of important objects, but if you try to think about it at a different level, it is actually a memory problem. The bad news is that, it could even become worse than how it is today.

Again, these things may be simple. Other than forgetting where you have placed your car keys this morning, things like important events and deadlines can slip off of your mind as well and this could become a bad habit. Good news is, you can take control of these things. You can stop yourself from developing absentmindedness because when it takes over you, your natural instinct of organizing things properly also slips away.

When you try to think about it, there is actually a great significance as to how a person organize his thoughts and in turn, the things that matters around him. Improving your memory can be done in so many ways but destroying it can also happen in a snap and there are still more factors that contribute to memory failure.

This time, it's simple. Try your best to be organized. If remembering where you placed your car keys is a problem, use a container you can easily spot and place it where it can easily be seen. If remembering names is too much, ask more information about the person, his whereabouts, achievements and acquaintances. The things that he say are going to imprint memory anchors to your brain which holds on to his name. There are many ideas how you can simply prevent forgetfulness but it is up to you apply it. <bio>Shareen Aguilar is a writer for Memory Improvement Techniques http://www.memory-improvement-techniques.com which has Memory Improvement Books and Memory Game Software. </bio>

Have you ever been on a date where your partner said they liked you, but then said that you would have to make changes if you wished to be in a relationship with them?

The concept of a partner wanting to change you is more common than it may seem. A lot of people get in relationships where they spend a great deal of time trying to change their partners. In my opinion this strategy is not very useful, and generally leads to emotional pain in the end. Why is this? Because each person has their own values which they hold dear to themselves. This is true no matter what gender, race, or age they are.

Everyone has something that they feel is very important, and there are also things that they don't find to be that important. The things which a person feels are important could be listed in a hierarchal structure. At the top are the things that matter the most, and as you make your way down, the things become less important. This is an important concept to understand, because it defines how an individual will view the world around them. They will interpret things in a certain way, and they will react to what they feel is the right result. So, when you go on a date with a person, you must accept them the way they are.

Trying to change them will make things difficult for the both of you. If their values are in direct conflict with your own, there are only two options left on the table. The first option is to reach what is called a compromise. Agree on what you are willing to give up for the mutual benefit of the relationship, and expect your partner to do the same. The next option is to simply go your separate ways. This will be better in the end, because it won't do you much good to continue in a relationship that you will be unhappy in. Never assume that a person will like your values, and don't try to force them to like them.

Sometimes, you must accept the fact that some things are just not meant to be. A lack of compatibility is one of the leading causes of relationship failure today. You must be compatible with the person you are dating if you wish to find success. Therefore, don't allow anyone to change who you are, and don't try to change someone you are dating. It will only lead to conflict and pain. <bio>Ron Zvagelsky has a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in May 2006.
Sometimes we are simply doing too much and the juggling plays havoc with our emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing. We try to work smarter, make things more streamlined. We try to do more and more and try and do it better and better. We say yes to extra commitments when we really want to say no.

Yet we all have the same amount of time available to us

AND

We have choices as to what we do with our time (even if it doesn't always feel that way)

Here are five steps to help you assess your time gremlins and move towards a more time-relaxed way of living:

Step 1: Your Relationship With Time What is your relationship with time right now? Do you feel that the pace of your life is just right for you or do you feel too 'pressed' for time?

Step 2: What Do You Want More Time For? What three things would you like to do that you feel you don't have the time to do at the moment?

What is important about these things?

Step 3: What Takes Up Your Time? Make a list of all the regular things that take up your time. Here is a list to jog your mind -- you will have many others:

Working (subdivide this), TV, Childcare, Shopping. paperwork, Socializing, Exercising, Traveling, Committees, Hobbies, Gardening,

• Highlight the top three things that take up most of your time? • Circle the three things you like to do the least and • Put a tick by the three things you like to do the most?

Step 4: What Could You Cut Out? What are three things that are not important to you right now that you could cut out of your life? Sometimes we need to make large sweeping cuts; sometimes we only need a little tweak.

This list is just intended to spark your imagination:

• Social clubs you no longer enjoy • That extra job you agreed to do • all that clutter that's taking up space in your home and head • That course you've started but don't feel is helping you • People you no longer feel in congruence with • That hour in front of the TV you're not really enjoying And could you delegate? • You partner could share more of the load • Your children could do some chores • Could you employ someone to do your ironing/housework/gardening/office work?

Step 5: Let the Good Stuff In!!! You have assessed where you are, what you want, what you don't want and got rid of some things that no longer serve you.

Now let the 'good-stuff' in:

The things that make you happy and relaxed The things that are important to you the things that make you smile with excitement the things that make you a nicer person to be around the things that let you live the life you've always wanted the things that make you, you!

De-Clutter Your Life. Find What Really Makes you Happy! <bio>Shed your physical and emotional clutter and find your true self and unlimited potential. Happiness starts with being the real, authentic you.
Once in a while we get a big scare. Perhaps there is and accident or an argument and suddenly, we fear we're going to lose someone we love very much. Or maybe we have our own serious health crisis, and our whole perspective shifts and comes into sharp focus. The things that seemed important yesterday are no longer so important. We realize how we wish we were closer to those we love most, and we feel more generous and wish we had helped others more. We also may think of all the things we dreamed of, but haven't accomplished or enjoyed.

Often in life we waste a lot of time on things that are not really important to us and which don't, in the long run, make us happy or give our lives meaning. But life doesn't have to be that way, and you don't have to wait until you have a dark night to change. Take this as a cue to review what is most important to you now.

Who are your most favorite people? Are they the ones you stay closest to? Are you kind to them? Have you told them how much you like and love them, or have you been hung up on every-day matters? Make a short list of these people and start to reach out to them today. It may take them a while to respond, because it's also easy for them to get `caught up' in the business of life. Don't let any arguments or distance get in the way. Do it now, and do it regularly.

What do you wish to do in your life? Are there things you wish to do, but you keep saying, "one day,"? It's time to quit putting things off. Do something about your dreams every week... every day, if you can. Your dreams may be large or small. Know what they are. Don't let your wish for an exact or perfect match to your dream prevent you from what you can do. Maybe you'd like to be very rich and have a leisurely coffee each morning at your villa on The Riviera, but don't let the lack of riches now prevent you from enjoying coffee at your favorite spot in your current home, or of developing a plan to get there.

The older we get the less important it becomes what we have in life, and the more important it becomes what we do for others and how we treat them. Take a moment each day to think of what is most important to you, and let your every day be formed around those thoughts. <bio>Social network users, go to http://www.wishafriend.com/ac/ for myspace comments and http://www.wishafriend.com/graphics/ for myspace graphics.
There are many things that you can do with your home business that will help you find success. There are also lots of things that you could do which will not bring you to success but which might hurt your chances of being in business for very long. The things that you do are much more important, so focus on the positive things that you can do to make sure you have a business for a long time to come.

First of all, in order to have success it is important that you always feel like you are running a business. Set office hours for yourself, and make sure you stick to them. However, you should also make sure that you dress each day as if you are going to work. Even if you aren't dressing as formal as you would be if you went to work, if you get up and get dressed each day you will feel more like you are going to work, and a more positive attitude is a great way to get things done when it comes to your home business. Remember that when you are running a home business you want to be sure you are giving everyone the chance to see what you have and what you can do, so you should always have a portfolio ready to send to customers of your previous work and what you can do for them.

There are other things that you can do to enhance your home business experience. First of all, try to come up with a fun and unique blog that you can write on a regular basis that has something to do with your business. People like to read the thoughts of someone they are doing business for. Remember thought that you have to keep in mind that you are writing for your business, so try to stay professional. Maintain a professional attitude no matter what you are doing, even if it is fun.

There are some other things that you can do to make sure your home business has a great chance of being successful. For one, try your best to always have a good attitude. Remember that you are in charge of your business, and whatever attitude you have is going to carry over into your business as a whole.
Sometimes it is good to reflect on how life would be if you did not have some of the things that are so useful to us but that we take for granted as we live each day. Things like ample amounts of food you will appreciate better if you fast once in a while. Or maybe electricity, which if not available because of a storm or plant failure can literally shut down our world as we know it. We forget how important to our life these things really are. What I want to do is just that--I want to reflect on what my life (really everyone's life) would be like with the use of only one arm.

Your arm is one of the things that sets you apart in creation from many, many different things. Fish don't have arms, neither do birds, or snakes, or most four footed creatures. Really monkeys and some rodents (like raccoons) use their front most appendages like arms and they are considered crafty and advanced in a lot of ways. Arms allow us to multi task. We can move about while we manipulate things with our arms deftly and communicate all at the same time. Most animals that don't have arms have to use their mouth instead which gets in the way of things like communication and breathing and other important tasks. So we would not be as crafty or as good at multi-tasking.

We would not be as capable of hard work with only one arm. It is amazing the difference in the ability of carrying things and manipulating our environment with one versus two versus more sets of hands. This is why the phrase "can you give me an extra hand" is such a commonly used one and why there are so many jobs that provide just that. Just think of all of the jobs that use extra "hands"--surgery techs, carpenters, lab assistants, animal trainers, entertainer sidekicks, police partners, etc. If you don't have an arm you don't have a hand let alone an extra one.

You also won't be able to care for yourself as well. One arm and one hand can't clean all parts of the body as well. It can't cook, or feed itself as well. It can't protect itself or get itself around as well. There just is no end to all of the things in your life that would be severely hampered by only having one upper extremity. This is why an arm is worth so much in lots of insurance policies, more than a leg for instance. So the next time you think you have it rough, tie one hand behind your back and see if your life seems better all of a sudden. <bio>Hallidae Thomason is grateful that she has more than one arm and both legs.
If you are trying to get your ex girlfriend back there are some things you will need to have in order to get her back. There are certain things that you will need to find within yourself in you want to have any sort of fighting chance to get her back. Of course I am sure you will be able to find them, but I just wanted to remind you of a few of them so that you have the best chance possible to win her back.

The first thing that you will need is patience. You probably want things to happen faster than they are happening right now, but understand that you will need to have patience to get through this. Being impatient and trying to force things to happen will not only make things worse, but it will ruin any chances that you have built up until that point. Remember the old saying that good things come to those who wait? Well, it is true.

The next thing you will need to have is a good attitude. This is extremely important. I know it sounds kind of corny, but good things will happen if you just keep your chin up and keep a positive attitude. Things may not go your way at first and she may ask you to change or do things you may not want to do, but if you keep positive then you will be able to overcome anything that happens. Stay positive and positive things will happen.

Another thing you will need is the ability to accept criticism. I am sure that you will hear things that you really do not want to hear. Our usual reaction is to defend ourselves. When we are being attacked we have to protect ourselves. But don't take it as an attack; rather take it as a learning experience. If and when your ex girlfriend tells you what made things bad between the two of you, you need to be able to take it without going off of the deep end. Take it in stride and realize that she is straight up telling you how to get her back. She is basically telling you what you need to fix in order for you to win her back.

Getting your ex girlfriend back can be made easier if you just take the necessary steps.
It can be stressful to have to deal with the stresses and anxieties of being a leader. There are many kinds of demands placed on a leader and a leader is expected to perform a lot of responsibilities. Here are a few steps on how to manage the stresses of being a leader.

Do not put things off that you can do today. As a leader, you have a lot of work to do. It can be easy to put things off for the next day. Do not do this because your tasks will slowly build up. When something needs to be done, do it as soon as possible.

Communicate with the people you work with. As a leader you should talk with the people that you are leading. People want to know what is going on and a leader needs to let people know what is happening. A leader will be better off by communicating important information to the people he leads. This will help prevent future conflicts.

Get all of the facts of the situation when making important decisions. You do not want to make a decision on something without getting the necessary information. Review all information and talk with others to get their advice. When you do make a decision, you will not have to second guess yourself.

Be honest. A leader's character and credibility is very important. Do not mislead people when performing your responsibilities. It is better to be honest than to make up things that are not true.

Remember to plan ahead. Set up weekly goals that you want to accomplish. Be determined to accomplish these goals. This will make you satisfied that you are getting things done each week.

Being a leader can be stressful, but there are ways to reduce this anxiety. It takes a lot of practice and experience to become a good leader so do not get frustrated when things do not work out. Take it day by day and do the best you can being a leader. <bio>Stan Popovich is the author of "A Layman's Guide to Managing Fear" an easy to read book that presents a overview of techniques that are effective in managing persistent fears and anxieties.
I'm sure you'll agree with me that most people will see procrastination as a negative. But today I want to challenge this belief.

Wikipedia says procrastination is about deferment or avoidance of an action or task. It may result in stress, a sense of guilt, the loss of productivity, the creation of crisis, and the disapproval of others. But why do we procrastinate?

We procrastinate to avoid change. And fair enough I say. Change takes effort and if we're honest we don't want to change. In fact I don't want to change to such an extent I've recently started to cross out the word "change" in a book by Wayne Dyer (who I usually love reading). Simply, I'm fed up with people telling me to change. I DON'T WANT TO CHANGE!

Why?

I think I should "like me" as I am. In fact, I think I should "love me" as I am. And I think you should love you too. Even if life is a mess, beating yourself up because you didn't do something or forgot to do it for, say eight weeks of the new year, isn't really a good policy.

Sometimes procrastination can be useful, if used correctly.

There are three type of procrastination:

1. Doing nothing 2. Doing something less important 3. Doing something more important

Type three, I think, is excellent procrastination and the type that can be used effectively.

Some of the greatest people are "type three procrastinators". Sometimes type three procrastinators have been known to forget to eat or are too busy to eat all three meals in a day.

To me, housework is less important than working with a client. Housework is also less important than spending time with my family or helping a friend or neighbor. I procrastinated so much on housework last year that in the end we asked someone to clean for us so we could spend more time doing "something more important" as a family.

The way I think about procrastination is like this: If I won't get a mention for it at my funeral, it's probably worth procrastinating on.

This isn't lazy thinking. I have a strong desire for excellence in what I do. I believe my work effects people positively and that my family life is extra-ordinarily loving and happy. And to keep things that way, I'm happy to procrastinate on minor things that don't motivate me or find an alternative - such as the example of a cleaner.

When building CommunitySoul I became aware there were jobs I didn't like doing. I began to procrastinate on them and the whole business slowed down. I felt bad because I hadn't done something and that effected the things I was motivated to do, because I kept thinking about the other stuff.

Then I got smart. I started to find people who could do what I procrastinated on. More recently I've discovered that there are things I like doing and there are things I absolutely love doing. Now I find people who can do the things I only like doing so I can focus more effort on the things I absolutely love doing.

From today's article I hope you've got two things:

1.It's okay to procrastinate, if you are focusing on something more important

2.Find ways to alleviate yourself of the burden - find someone to do the things you procrastinate on

Love and best wishes

Neil <bio>To find out more about CommunitySoul and join their weekly personal development newsletter go to http://www.communitysoul.co.uk sign for the free newsletter and get a free gift </bio>

You know those instances when you head to the grocery store to buy a specific number of things but instead end up spending a lot more than you expected on things that you had no plans of getting?

It happens to everybody. We go to the supermarket, believing that we will only be spending x amount of dollars and then, before you know, we are picking up all sorts of small items from the shelves. The things we need to buy are clear in our heads, but we end up stuffing our carts with all sorts of things that we did not intend to buy or sometimes do not even need. The next thing you know, we are at the check-out counter and we are absolutely aghast at how much we have to pay. At that time, of course, there's nothing more we can do about it but pay the cashier. Then we think to ourselves, that's the last time I'm going to spend more than what I planned at the grocery story. But the next time we're back there, we do the same thing all over again. It's like we have no control of ourselves.

Here's a tip to all you consumers about how to save on your groceries. No, it's not that you should buy this brand or that product over all the others. This piece of advice is much more practical. And it's simple, too. The advice: always bring a list of things to buy.

Sure, you've heard it all before. In fact, you probably used to have a list when you went to the supermarket but you got so used to buying the same things over and over again that you felt you didn't need the list any more.

Well, you still need that list. Trust me.

It's just a matter of how you regard the list. Before, you had the list to remind you of all the things your family needed. You had the list because you didn't want to forget anything important. This time around, try to think of the list in another way. Think of the list as a minimum requirement for any product before you can decide to purchase it. In other words, if an item is not on the list, you will not buy it. This will save you an incredible amount of money. And during that instance when you may think you need something but forgot to put it on the list, don't buy that thing anyway. How important can it be if you forgot to put it on the list? <bio>Jonathon Hardcastle writes articles for http://1stconsumerinfo.com/ - In addition, Jonathon also writes articles for http://universeofjobs.com/ and http://4businesstalk.com/ </bio>

As any good web developer knows, a web developer is always worried about creating the best web site that they can. They work very hard with the client to decide exactly how they want their site to look, to function, and also how to make it run the most efficiently. These are all things that people need to think about when they are creating a web site, but sometimes we forget one of the most important things, how are we going to get our site on the internet?

No matter how great the web site you create is, it is meaningless if you do not get it out on the internet. So if you are going to get our web site on the internet, then you can either host it on a web server yourself, or get a web hosting company to host it for you. If you are a large company that has an IT staff to setup the infrastructure to host a web site, then this is probably the best idea, because you have more control over the things that happen.

However, most people that create web sites do not have the money or the time to setup such an infrastructure. These people will have to get a web hosting company to host their web site. Here are a few things to consider when you try to pick a web hosting company that is right for you:

Space -- Some web hosting companies offer more space than others. If you are going to create a large web site, or you are looking to expand a lot in the near future, then the amount of space offered is very important.

Email Addresses -- If your web site is going to give away email addresses, or you need extra email addresses for your users, then the amount of free email addresses that you are given might be very important.

Database Access -- Some web hosting companies offer the ability to use a MySQL or SQL Server database to store information or authenticate against. This can be a very important fact to help make your web site more secure, or more dynamic. <bio>Get your web hosting at http://www.hostgadget.com </bio>

Others have to squeeze in some important appointments while working. Here are some tips that will help you manage your affairs more effectively.

1. Make a to-do list for the entire week. This does not mean that you have to make a schedule for the entire week. Just list down the things you need to accomplish before the week ends. This includes paying the bills, grocery shopping, visiting your parents or friends, and/or filing important documents. This will help you plan what to do during your free day. It will also help you squeeze in some of the things you can during your break in the office.

2. Before you call it a day, prepare a list of the things you need to do the following day. Prioritize. If you need to visit a friend in the hospital, see what time you will be available and make sure that the hospital allows visitation during those time. A list is a good way to remind you of the things that needs to be done. It will also keep your activities organized.

3. Check for the two things you can do at the same time. While taking a break, you can probably look for cheap landau scrubs for your wife. You know how busy nurses are. They barely have time to eat their lunch. If it is time for you to work, work. Take the break when it is time to do so. You will not finish everything on time if you do not follow your schedule.

5. Do not try to do all the things in a day. This is why you are prioritizing. Place the things that need your immediate attention on the top of your list. This will entail that you need to finish them first before you do the rest of the list. If you are unable to finish them during the day, place them on top of your list the next day.

All of us have things to do. We have respective duties that keep us busy.
Are you dealing with your partner's unhappiness in your relationship? What are their complaints? Could they be that you can't remember things, that you're always distracted, or that you're lazy and leave things lying around everywhere? Does this sound like the arguments you've been having?

Consider that you might have adult attention deficit disorder. Your partners reactions to some of your behaviors are typical, especially when you aren't aware of your ADD and neither is your partner. First, take an online test to see if you might have attention deficit. Then, see a medical professional for an adequate and positive diagnosis. What may seem like ADD, could actually be something else, so you want to get that nailed down for sure. If you really are experiencing attention deficit, then to make your partner happy, you'll need to make some adjustments.

Once you have a proper diagnosis, set aside time to discuss it with your partner. Help them to understand why you do or don't do things that frustrate them. Together, you can work on setting up some ADD-friendly solutions for the issues that are bothering him or her.

But first, you need to decide exactly what those things are and make some definite plans to solve them. Attention deficit is tricky, though. It won't always let you see things through to completion, so you'll have to make special effort to get things under control. Set up a calendar or a white board where you can write things and be able to view them throughout the day. You may want to work on one ADD behavior each day, until your adjustment kicks in and becomes a regular part of life.

Linear-thinking people often accuse people with attention deficit of laziness because we have a tendency to just drop things and let them lie. Yet, it's important that your linear partner doesn't clean up after you. When they do that, they're just reinforcing your ADDness. Instead, ask them to remind you where the sweatshirt on the chair belongs, and get them to help you set up some ADD-friendly systems to help you with this issue.

Memory could be another issue. If your partner asks you to pick something up at the store or their cleaning at the dry cleaners, and it's really important, there will be wailing and gnashing of teeth when your ADD makes you forget. Write things down. Always keep a notepad by you and all over the house. Then, be sure to write down anything important that you just can't forget.

Also make time for your partner. You'll need to talk things over and find out what's working and what's not, and perhaps make some adjustments to the systems you set up. Don't judge the effectiveness of a plan over a single day, though. Allow your system to work for a week or two before making any changes.

Having attention deficit doesn't mean you can't have fulfilling, lasting relationships. The first step is finding out that you do have ADD and the second is to help your partner to understand it. Once he or she realizes that you aren't doing things to make them nuts, and it's just your ADD, they'll be more likely to see that you just need to make adjustments to your lifestyle to make things work. If you can do that, stick to a plan, and keep working at it, until you find a solution that's right for you. When you have, your ADD will no longer be an issue. <bio>Tellman Knudson is a certified hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner, who has helped many of his clients to cope with the symptoms of ADD.
Buying a vacuum is not difficult, but individuals that want to get the most for their money will need to spend some time figuring out what it is that they need in a vacuum, how much they have to spend, and where they can find the best deal. In general, there are 5 things to look for when buying a vacuum and we'll go into each one in detail. The important thing is that you need to figure out which one of these things is important to you, and then just put more weight into that particular category. This should give you an idea of the things to keep your eye out for when you're shopping.

First, price is a concern. Not everyone has the luxury to afford whatever they need and want, even when it comes to a vacuum cleaner. A lot of people are very budget conscious today, too, because of the economy. Since this is the case, they worry about how much something costs. They should determine their price range before they head out the door to go shopping.

Second, quality is another one of the 5 things to look for when buying a vacuum. Not all vacuums have the same quality, but not all lower-priced vacuums are of a poor quality. Whether a vacuum is a quality product depends on many factors, but customers that pay attention to brand names, recalls, and other issues will likely locate a vacuum cleaner that is the highest quality in the price range that they wish to pay.

Third, many customers consider the brand name to be one of the 5 things to look for when buying a vacuum. Not everyone cares what brand of vacuum they buy, but many people are concerned about the brand because they associate certain brands with quality more than other brands.

Fourth, ease of use is another thing to look for when buying a vacuum. Especially for the elderly or disabled people, whether a vacuum pushes easily is important. In addition, being able to change bags, belts, and filters is also a consideration. Consumers that are determining what to look for when buying a vacuum may also wish to consider whether to get a self-propelled model.

Fifth, attachments are important to consider when looking to buy a vacuum. Not everyone will use the attachments, but most people do use at least some of them. Some vacuums come with many more attachments than other vacuums, and this can make a serious difference for a homeowner. There are many things to consider when deciding what to look for in buying a vacuum, and if a consumer is careful and thinks about the purchase, the best choice can be made.

So if you keep these tips in mind, you should be well on your way to finding the vacuum cleaner that will work for your home and budget. Luckily, it's only something that you need to buy every once in awhile because with all the choices on the market, it can be a confusing decision. <bio>Dave Roth runs a site that focuses on name brand vacuum cleaner reviews. The site also features reviews on brands such as Dyson, Kirby, or Hoover.
If you have adult ADD, your memory may tend to be faulty. Your brain may tend to be real creative, and so sometimes you'll be so lost in your own thoughts and have no memory of things that happen to you. No memory of things that people said, no memory of things that people did, no memory of places that you've even gone to visit when people are referencing it, until they mention just the right thing.

Does this embarrass you? Don't let it! Realize the problem. You may be busy looking toward the future and so, you may not need to spend time looking back.

That's a personal choice, of course, and it's a way of dealing with your ADD. And you have to realize that if your brain is spinning at the speed of light, paying attention to many things all at the same time, some of that stuff just isn't going to stick.

So if you are an ADDer who has memory and recall problems, there are two things that you can do. The first thing is be okay with it. The second thing is, you can learn specific techniques in order to help yourself improve, enhance, increase your ability to remember the things you wish to remember.

Tellman took a course, that came from an infomercial on TV, called Mega Memory by Kevin Trudell.

He saw it as an awesome course, and it helped him to remember his grocery list, to start remembering names and faces, to start remembering dates, facts--anything he wanted to remember, where remembering was actually important.

Mega Memory uses an awesome system of pictures and body anchoring, but it really goes much deeper. Taking the course was a conscious choice for Tellman, and after he made the choice to improve his memory, it actually got better than the memories of many of the people he knows.

He has to consistently apply the techniques he learned, though. When he doesn't, his memory goes back to normal and his brain flies off in many directions at onces, and his ability to remember important things just goes away.

So what's the big deal? I don't know. If you make a lot of money, and are very successful, if you have a very happy life, are in great shape, and your memory stinks, is that such a bad thing?

Here's the thing: There are certain things that it's really important to remember, and then there are certain things that other people think it's important for you to remember. And you gotta understand the distinction about that.

Appointments and grocery lists are important, and so is where you're going when you leave the house. You need to be especially responsible when other people are depending on you, like when you make an appointment and someone expects you to be there.

That's just polite and good business. Always write appointments down. Never trust yourself to remember things like that.

It's important when you go shopping, too. Maybe you can retain about three or four things, but if your mind goes off in another direction, you may not even recall such a short list. That means you'll be going back out the next day to get what you didn't the day before, wasting time, wasting gas, ultimately wasting money. So, before leaving your house, write what you're going out to get down. Then, you needn't worry about remembering or making unnecessary trips back to the store.

It's really important that you make extensive use of notes for the important things.

We never rely on our memories for anything---ever. We write everything down in our daily planners or calendars and we use those to remind us of what we need to do, where we have to pick up, etc. It doesn't hurt to surround yourself with linear-thinking people, either, who can remind you to do things. Make it their job, whether they're friends, family, or employees. That works out well. There's not a thing wrong in doing that.

And again, if you need to improve your memory to get better grades, if you need to improve your memory in a certain aspect of your business, just go out and take a course on how to improve your memory and presto change-o, you'll be able to use it. <bio>Tellman Knudson, certified Hypnotherapist, is CEO of Overcome Everything, Inc.
When you hire a contractor you expect the job to get done right the first time around; and there is nothing wrong with this. When it comes down to it, you need to make sure that you are paying a contractor that is capable of doing what you ask. After all, if they are not able to complete your job, there is no chance that you are going to be happy about the end result. This is why it is so important for you to make sure that you research and screen several contractors before choosing the one that you are going to hire.

How do you know if your contractor is doing the job right? This can be a difficult question to answer for a number of different reasons. Simply put, the best way to determine this is to look at what you asked for, and then watch the contractor as the proceed to work on the job. If they are doing things as outlined in your contract, it is safe to say that they are doing the job right. On the other side of things, if you are beginning to see some problems, you may want to get in touch with your contractor right away for a further explanation.

Of course, there may be a very good reason that it appears that your contractor is off track. And although you may think that you know what is going on, until you ask, you may not be right. It is very important for you to consider where your contractor is coming from before you accuse them of not doing their job. As you probably know, each and every contractor has their own way of doing things. And even if you do not agree with it, you need to respect their work schedule. The main thing that you should be concerned with is how the job is going to turn out in the end.

As mentioned above, if your contractor is not doing their job, the best thing that you can do is sit down with them to iron out the details. Again, you may find out that they are more on track than you believe. In most cases, if your contractor has all the details of your project, they will not have any problems doing things right. But of course, as the buyer you want to make sure that you are watching the progression of the project.

For HDB Rental units in Singapore visit http://www.rentinsingapore.com/browse/all/all/all <bio>Kim Lee writes for Singapore rental portal http://www.RentInSingapore.com </bio>

First of all in order to know what whether or not you need a registry clean you have to know what kind of registry I am talking about. You also have to know what that particular kind of registry does, and what kinds of things happen when your registry is "dirty." In the next several paragraphs I want to tell you about each of these things and in so doing hopefully answer the title question.

The type of registry that I am referring to is the registry that is used by all windows operating systems. So if you have a computer that runs with windows (which 95% of America does) than you need to read this article. The registry is used by windows to store all of the settings that are used in any bit of software that is ever run on your computer, and holds it whether or not that software is still on your computer (this is where you may start to see what a registry clean is all about). Anyway, settings may be the user preferences for simple things like colors and layouts, or more complicated settings for speeds, or orders of operation, or schedules of important events, OR less complicated but very much more important things like usernames and passwords that link to often very important and very private information. Settings also may include those for software that is used by web pages linked to temporary internet files (and this is where the huge amount of useless information is contained).

Just as an aside the registry because it contains, as we have talked about above, some rather important information that should be protected you should also have in mind that the typical software package that you buy to do your registry clean often has another component that finds code uploaded onto your computer by the different malware programs that are running rampages on the internet right now like spyware and adware. It "cleans" this off and also protects your pc from future intrusions.

Anyway, the information on this registry obviously builds over time. More and more information is added, some useful and some that is useless. When the registry starts to near capacity the computer may do several things that are very annoying to the user. These include slow operation, freezing, spontaneous and unwanted shutdowns, and so on. So in conclusion before you go an buy another computer try a registry clean you will be surprised how much it helps. <bio>Dylon Floppours loves to teach people about computers and has been doing so for decades. He stresses the importance of computer maintenance, such as keeping your registry clean.
When you thought you have everything placed for memorization use, think again. The fact is; there's a big possibility that these things could be the very element why you forget important information which you should've been retaining in the first place.

Having said this, lets cite an example =96 you. When you try to remember something, you work hard on doing it right? Sometimes, you rely on things like organizers to help you better in retaining the information. On the contrary, all you think about after internalizing the material is you worry about forgetting it. The very act of worrying is already a negative impression on what you are capable of doing. In the end, instead of having retained the information, you're left with nothing to recall. This is because you were too worried about forgetting it when what you are doing is actually blocking what you needed to remember by worrying.

Here's another one. You may or may not have realized it before, but your willingness to remember makes a difference. When you know in you that you can and will be able to remember what you've just studied, the power of intention to remember works wonders. How you look at things will certainly boosts your capacity to remember.

And of course, the most interesting part in memorization is the selection of important or significant details alone. Once you've learned which part of a material you need to choose, you can use others as well. Apparently, selection is an important part of memorization, not to mention for students studying for an exam. This makes it possible for the learner to omit unnecessary words and concentrate on key points. The technique here is for the learner to read or study the material as a whole and then go through it after and pick important major ideas. Going through the entire material first before actually picking up important parts for memorization is essential since memorization can never be done without a complete understanding of what is being learned. <bio>Shareen Aguilar is a writer for http://www.memory-improvement-techniques.com which has Memory Improvement Books and Memory Game Software. </bio>

When you have adult ADD, it's not surprising that your memory is faulty. When you remember certain events or places, you might get a bit creative, let's say. Or, you'll be physically attending and mentally elsewhere. You may not remember things people did or what they said, or even places you've been until someone gives you just the right verbal cue and then, whatever it is you're to remember comes into view. None of this is unusual for people with adult ADD.

Yet, forgetting things may make you uncomfortable. If you can't remember your minister's name all of a sudden, for instance, or forgetting a doctor's appointment could be embarrassing. Consider that it may lie in the fact that because you have adult ADD you're generally looking ahead, rather than looking backward.

There are times when forgetting can be a self-defense mechanism. You may want to forget unpleasant experiences, and then, a faulty memory can be a blessing. But what happens most often is that adult ADD has you thinking about so many things at the same time that you can't remember the small details, even if they're important.

Give yourself some leeway to forget unimportant details. They're just not worth worrying about. But for the really important things, you do have some options.

Take a memory course, for instance. One that really helped me is called "Mega Memory" and it's by Kevin Trudell. I saw it on an infomercial, and guess what? It really works! The whole thing is that you really have to make a conscious effort to employ the techniques you learn, regardless of what course you take.

Here's the deal... If you're successful and have no real problem with forgetting, that's great. But even if you do have memory issues, realize that everyone forgets things now and then, even if they don't have adult ADD. If it's a problem, use a day planner and keep it with you all the time. Or, use sticky notes and put them all over your desk, if you need to. But when you write things down, you're doing yourself a favor. Now, you don't have to remember because what you need to remember is right there in front of you making it impossible for you to forget. <bio>Tellman Knudson is CEO of Overcome Everything and a certified hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner.
Understanding asthma cause factors can help you to insure that you know why and what is likely to happen to you. Those that face asthma do so, on a daily basis. The cause or triggers of their episodes or attacks really can range in what they are. But, what brings on the disease of asthma in the first place? Understanding this can help to provide you with the overall best results when it comes to treating your asthma condition as well.

For some people, asthma is caused by hereditary conditions, passed down through the course of their family genes. Yet, for others the cause of the asthma that they have has to do with the outside factors such as the environment in which they live. Still, there can be an infection or allergy that causes the asthma to come on as well. While finding out what has caused asthma in your specific case may seem important, what is more important is to know what causes your asthma attacks instead.

In this case, the cause of your asthma is that of the trigger. The trigger can be things such as dust, fumes, mists, smoke, cold air, or other conditions. In some people, too much physical activity, such as exercising, can bring on an asthma attack. Still others can get it just from laughing or from anxiety. The cause of your asthma will be something that you specifically need to take into consideration. Each person that has asthma needs to understand what is causing their condition in the hopes of insuring that they can avoid those things.

When it comes to asthma, the causes of your asthma attacks are very important things to know. You and your doctor can work out this to help in determining what the cause of the attack is so that you can better avoid it. If you do not do this, you will find that you may be unprepared to handle the asthma attack if and when it happens to you. <bio>Roger Thompson writes about asthma, health related Issues and Jobs for http://www.idohealthcare.com </bio>
