On the one hand, the 1990s saw the renaissance of cigar smoking in the United States after decades in which competition from cigars, an aging customer base of cigar aficionados, and lack of interest in cigars among younger smokers all took their toll on the industry. This trend suddenly, inexplicably reversed itself in the fourth quarter of 1992, and by 1996, the industry was seeing 36 percent first-quarter growth.

But what ironic timing! The Clinton years also saw a high-profile class-action suit against cigarette companies, controversies over cigarette advertising to minors, and a general decline in the number of new tobacco users. More importantly, those who did continue to smoke, or who took up the habit for the first time, found themselves with a vanishing habitat. More and more businesses, towns, even entire states imposed restrictions on smoking.

That trend has continued, and Europe's getting in on the act. England recently enacted a far-reaching smoking ban that some anti-smoking activists consider a model for future efforts in this country (though some consider that it infringes too far on civil liberties). In any case, you might be wondering, if you're a cigar aficionado, whether there are other places you could visit where your cigar indulgence is, well, a little more widely understood.

You're in luck--maybe. The United States, according to the Penguin State of the World Atlas, counts twenty-four percent of its adult population as tobacco users. There are plenty of other countries where that number is significantly higher.

You could start with Western Europe. Even the United Kingdom, with that strict smoking ban, has a slightly higher rate of adult tobacco users (just over twenty-six percent), while in Germany, Hungary and France, respectively, thirty-five, thirty-five and thirty-four percent of adults use tobacco in some form. (Apparently, all those French movie characters weren't just using their little Gaulouises for emphasis.) The Netherlands, Spain, Luxembourg, and Switzerland lag just behind, with around thirty-three percent, ahead of thirty-one percenters Ireland and Norway, while the rest of Western Europe is at thirty percent or below.

Go a little further East, and things get even more promising. In Greece thirty-eight percent of adults will potentially be willing to join you for your after-dinner stogie (if you ask nicely anyway), as will thirty-six percent of adult Macedonians, thirty-four percent of adult Poles. More impressively, so will forty-two percent of Slovakians and a whopping forty-three percent of Romanians. Turkey isn't officially part of Europe (due to a recent EU decision), but forty-four percent of its adults use tobacco.

Smoking is popular in Russia and former Soviet client states: thirty-nine percent of Albanians, thirty-seven percent of Georgians and Kyrgyzstanis, thirty-six percent of Russians and Bulgarians, thirty-five percent of Ukrainians, thirty-two percent of Estonians, thirty-one percent of Latvians, Meanwhile, Bosnia-Herzogovina and Yugoslavia have some of the highest tobacco-use rates in the world, at forty-seven and forty-eight percent respectively. Thirty-three percent of Kazakhstan's citizens smoke, but for goodness sake, they don't want to see your Borat imitation.

Parts of the Middle East are friendly--well, to smoking, anyway. Forty-four percent of Yemenis smoke, as do forty percent of adults in Lebanon and thirty-seven percent of adults in Benin. Other parts of the region would prefer you keep it unlit, please--Lybia, with four percent, has the lowest smoking rates in the world, just ahead of Senegal (just over four and a half percent), Haiti and the United Arab Emirates (nine percent and change).

Even farther east, you might find some sympathetic souls in Mongolia (forty-seven percent), Laos (thirty-eight percent), Cambodia (thirty-seven percent), South Korea (thirty-five percent), and Japan (thirty-three percent). Going south a bit, we find thirty-eight percent of adult Bangladeshis and Nepalese using tobacco. Over by Indonesia (thirty-one percent), there's Papua New Guinea (thirty-seven percent). You might also try spending some time in Namibia (fifty percent), Kenya (forty-nine percent), Cameroon (thirty-five percent), Tunisia and Uganda (thirty-four percent).

Or stay in this hemisphere, but go south--to the region where much of the world's best tobacco is grown. Try Venezuela or Cuba--all those pictures of Chavez and Castro chomping cigars together aren't just about image, as the countries have forty and thirty-seven percent adult smokers respectively. Argentina (forty percent), Panama (thirty-eight percent), Mexico (thirty-four percent), and Brazil (thirty-three percent) also offer potential smokers' paradises.

A renowned scientist, Vincent Roth, also reportedly measured an anaconda to be approximately thirty four feet in length. So we picked up squidoo and tested a few things, tweaked it to our system and all of a sudden at that time it had about thirty-seven thousand lenses on it. When you are going to market and find a method to use to generate traffic, you are going to do two things. One, you are either going to exchange your time, which is a free method in order to get something for free you have got to exchange your time to set things up and do things. Like for instance, pay per click. Consider that the average American full size car is approximately sixteen feet in length, you could put two cars in a row and still not reach the size of this particular snake! Because anacondas are easily camouflaged, they are not seen en masse so rumors of this snake run rampant. There have been reports of anacondas anywhere from fifty to one hundred feet in length. However, do know that giant anacondas though believed to exist are extremely rare. But what, exactly, constitutes a giant anaconda when these uncommon snakes are commonly seen at lengths up to seventeen feet?The reported case of the biggest anaconda found was approximately thirty seven and one half feet long.

However, even though there were measurements taken at the time it was found in 1944, pictures were not taken and the snake was not skinned in order to preserve the record. So that's not bad, it's seventy-five dollars, we got four hundred dollars, that's three hundred and twenty-five dollars profit in our pocket, not including the way I teach you to put some advertising dollars back, because you don't want to rob yourself.

Now, I'm going to use one out of every three clicks on op-in, I'm going to use the same thing, twenty-five cents per click, so basically out of a hundred clicks, I'm going to get thirty-three op-ins. Now, why don't you back up for a second and look at what we just talked about before this. My conversion is one op-in out of every three clicks, thirty-three op-ins. Again, I'm going to have the same sales process you have, the same follow up and everything that converts one out of every twenty people to a sale, one out of every twenty op-ins. At this point I've spent twenty-five dollars, thirty-three op-ins.

I have already made one sale, remember, we make one sale out of every twenty op-ins, that is according to our sales, according to what we have been doing. So I've already made one sale, four hundred dollars and we have spent twenty-five bucks and are well on my way to my second sale, because I already have thirteen op-ins more than twenty, I have got thirty-three. So I've already made four hundred dollars, got three seventy-five in my pocket faster than that other person that's basically making a sale out of every three hundred clicks, I make one sale out of every hundred clicks and I get thirty-three op-ins.

So you can see the difference, to me, and to some people it might not be worthwhile. Some people are happy, okay I've spent seventy-five dollars and I'm making a sale for every seventy-five dollars I spend, I'd be happy with that, but I like to take things a little further. I like to put more money in my pocket, more op-ins, more bang for the buck. And once you get to that point of getting that ratio you just let it go. If the op-ins start to slow down a little bit, adjust your ad a little bit to get about the same ratio, to get one out of every three clicks to get an op-in. But as you can see, when you work from home as a business it's more profitable.

Now back to keywords. The number one target market in this industry, just like anything else, remember I was talking about mortgages and the mortgage industry, if they could get people in the target market, they would do great. Here, it's the same thing, who is your target market. The number one target market is other people in this industry. Why? Because they've already been pre-sold, if they have been in this industry they have bought a product in this industry, they have bought a course, they have been in an opportunity or something of the sort, they have been pre-sold in this industry an they want to work from home.

You don't have to sell them about the home based business industry, they have already been in it. Why spend time, you know, if you are marketing toward keywords like make money online, get my home based business, marketing online or things of that sort, usually the people that are looking up under those keywords in the search engines, or any other advertising that you are doing to target market that keyword, usually they have not been in this industry. So in your sales process you first have to convince them that they need to join this type of industry, this type of thing to get their own home based business. Whereas me, if I am targeting where I am target marketing, the people in this industry, I don't have to convince them of that, that part of the sales process is done before I have even got them to op-in to my page. It brings up your sales conversion rate.

Now you can see why if you do get into that target market right there that is too general, you might have some success, but you will not have as much success as you do as with very targeted marketing. So you need to target people in this industry. I hear this all the time, George, is it going to become saturated? No. There are millions and millions of people in the world, and the 1 ups, 2 ups, cash programs, courses in this industry, products in this industry, systems in this industry, marketing systems, sales centers, mlm programs in this industry, there are millions and millions of people across the world, so it'll never be saturated.
