I was really sad when I decided to sell my Rolls Royce. And this wasn't just any ol' Rolls Royce. This was a 'pimped-up' Rolls that I did myself, and hired out for weddings, hen and stag nights, theatre nights, well, for any kind of celebration where people wanted to travel in style, and feel the part. And look the part they did in my Roller. She was a perfect, gleaming specimen and everybody who traveled in my car felt like royalty, and I treated them like royalty. It was what they deserved.

However, in today's economic climate where a lot of people are counting the cost of everything, hiring a beautiful motor is no longer top of everybody's list and I just can't afford to keep her on the road anymore. I thought about putting my Rolls into storage, but the storage fees were too high. I looked into renting a friend's garage for awhile, but there wasn't any security and I didn't want my car stolen. The best thing was to sell my Rolls Royce and for her to be with somebody who would look after her in a manner she was accustomed to. After all, a Roller is not your ordinary car.

And because my car was no ordinary car, I could not sell my Rolls Royce in an ordinary way. I mean, I couldn't stick a notice in the local rag, or advertise my Roller in the shop window of my local post office. Besides, even if I did, I would not want everybody to know my private business, because when people read the advertisement and description of the Rolls Royce for sale, they would know it was mine, and work out I was in need of some cash. What was called for was a way to sell my Rolls Royce in a discreet manner.

Now you would think I would sell my Rolls Royce in the same way as I bought my car. However, I acquired my car through inheritance. Therefore this was a subject matter that would take some research as I had never sold such an exclusive car as a Roller. My first port of call to gather some advice was the Rolls Royce forum on the internet. In fact it turned out to be my last port of call, as they came forward with a suggestion that was very agreeable with me. They suggested I sell my Rolls Royce through a company that was an expert in buying prestige cars. Some of the people on the forum had bought and sold various Rollers from these types of companies and said it was the only way forward with such a specialised car.

So, I contacted a company, and after dealing with them, all I can say, is why doesn't everybody use them?! It was a breeze to sell my Rolls Royce, and I would certainly use them again. All I did was drop them an email with my contact details on it, and the type of car I was selling, and they phoned me the next day. I spoke to one of their experts and we discussed the finer details about my car, such as her history, how she has been looked after, who had driven her, and history of accidents. Once he had all the necessary information he gave me a quote, which I accepted, as I knew it was a very fair price. The last detail we finalised was the address they were going to come and pick up my Roller and exchange payment. The whole process was easy and straightforward, something I never expected to happen when I had to sell my Rolls Royce.<bio>David Barber wrote the Article 'I Had to Sell my Rolls Royce' and recommends you visit http://www.iainmutch.co.uk/sell-your-car/rolls-royce.php if you've ever asked yourself "Where can I sell my Rolls Royce?"</bio>

Origins of Jewellery Rolls

It is unclear exactly how jewellery rolls came in to being but we believe they developed for practical purposes from Jewellery boxes. It would seem that Jewellery Boxes have been used since ancient times for storing jewels and most women today have a jewellery box or decorative boxes in which their jewellery is kept. Jewellery rolls have become a popular means of storing jewellery as they make an equally pretty addition to a dressing table and have a practical use when travelling.

Jewellery Rolls at home

With continued popularity of statement jewellery, the traditional jewellery box is struggling to cope with these large pendants and necklaces, so additional space is required. Even large jewellery placed in a draw or box will become tangled or lost in and amongst other items, as for more delicate jewellery or earrings, these will become damaged or will just be lost. The addition of a jewellery roll will help organize your jewellery and can be either left on a dressing table or stored in a draw where it will not take up as much space as a jewellery box.

Jewellery Rolls when travelling

As if packing isn't enough of an ordeal, women are also expected to throw together a perfect outfit complete with stylish accessories. Organizing your suitcase or travel bag is the best way to achieve this, including packing the right jewellery. You wouldn't dream of packing for a weekend away without including a pair of shoes for the evening, the same should be true of jewellery. That black evening dress is going to look a bit boring without some well placed adornments. This is where jewellery rolls are extremely helpful, as you can organize your jewellery to go with each outfit. This makes a far better alternative to searching through your handbag, makeup bag, or wash bag, trying to remember where you slipped your precious jewellery in to. It's a good idea to get into the habit of putting your jewellery away in your jewellery roll each evening when staying in hotels as otherwise it is easily misplaced and possibly forgotten and lost when you pack.

Types of Jewellery Rolls

Jewellery rolls come in many different fabrics and varying sizes, they can be tied with ribbon or may have a snap fastening. Leather jewellery rolls can seem the most luxurious option and they will certainly be the most expensive but you need to consider the extra weight the leather adds to your luggage when trying to travel light. Velvet or satin jewellery rolls with or without beading offer an equally luxurious alternative at a fraction of the price. There are many colours to choose from which can be useful if you are trying to compliment the decor of your bedroom.

Jewellery Rolls as Gifts

Jewellery rolls make excellent Birthday Present, or Christmas Gift or simply to let her know you are thinking of her. There are many styles available that you don't find everywhere on the high street and they make affordable gifts during the credit crunch.<bio>Linda runs the www.iadoreyour.com gifts and jewellery boutique.
If you're buying wallpaper on a budget, the best way to save money is to properly measure and plan. Since a good quality wallpaper can be fairly expensive, you don't want to purchase and use more than you will truly need. This is even more important if your style of wallpaper must be meticulously matched at specific points on a pattern (see point 8 below).

Keep reading to learn how to buy wallpaper for your next project without wasting money.

1. Start by measuring the room that you plan to wallpaper. Draw a map of the room and include each wall's height, width and length. Try your best to draw the map to scale so the sketch is relatively proportionate to the actual structure of the room itself.

2. On your map, sketch in any openings like windows and doors that won't be wallpapered. Write in the measurements for all these.

3. Then measure the wall spaces between openings. For example, measure the width of the wall from the corner to the edge of the window and then from the window to the closet door.

4. Once you're ready, use a simple online calculator to figure out how many rolls you need to buy. Lowe's has a simple wallpaper calculator on their web site that you can use to make your calculations. Alternately, you can take your measurements into the store and the clerk will do the calculations for you.

5. Before you buy, make sure that you're purchasing the right number of rolls. Wallpaper is typically priced and measured in single rolls, but often sold or manufactured in double or triple rolls.

6. Also check the width of the wallpaper. Typically, European wallpaper is 20.5" wide and includes approximately 56 square feet of wallpaper on every roll. In contrast, American double wallpaper rolls are 27" wide and have about 70 square feet of paper.

7. When estimating the price, always ask the clerk if the price is listed as a single roll or double roll. You don't want to choose wallpaper, then have to take it back once you find out it costs twice as much as you anticipated. For example, the retailer may list wallpaper at $15 per single roll, but in actuality the double roll will cost you $30 at the cash register.

8. Ask the store clerk if the wallpaper you're planning to purchase is "drop match" or "straight match." Typically, a drop match has to be matched up at specific points, meaning there will be more leftover, unused pieces at the end of your project. Straight match, on the other hand, can be aligned with at any point with another piece of the same wallpaper.

9. Buy from a store with a liberal return policy that will let you return any unused or unopened rolls. If you can, purchase one or two extra rolls to make sure you have enough for your project. Afterward, you can return anything you don't use.

10. Check the run or dye lot number on every roll. You want this number to match, otherwise the coloring can be slightly, but noticeably different. Don't open any rolls until you've checked them all. <bio>For info on practical interior design ideas, see http://www.interior-creative-design.com, a popular site on home upgrades, such as Premier Kitchens - http://www.interior-creative-design.com/premier-bathrooms.shtml, bathroom vanity sinks - http://www.interior-creative-design.com/bathroom-vanity-sinks.shtml and many more! </bio>

Many people buy thousands and thousands of dollars worth of scratch off tickets a year. Out of all the money someone spends on a scratch-off ticket, how often do they win? Well a great method to winning at scratch off tickets is to definitely stay as far as you can away from $1.00 tickets. These scratchers give you just about the worst possible odds of winning. You have a 1 in 9 chance of winning each time! Who in their right mind would want to risk $9.00 for a chance to win $1.00. Not me of course, but there are many people that play $1.00 tickets like they are going out of style.

If you want to become a consistent scratch-off winner you need to play AT LEAST $2.00 tickets. Upgrading to a $2.00 ticket will increase your odds of 1 in 9 to 1 in 3. Most $2.00 tickets you buy will give you a 1:3 chance of winning each and every time. This is one of the single most important method to winning at scratch off tickets. Most people just by scratch offs without reading the odds on the back. The odds are there for you to see!

Most people also buy scratch offs without taking a look at their states lottery website. If you go to (YourStatesInitals) lottery dot com you will be able to see exactly which scratch offs have won the top prize already. Why would you want to buy scratch offs where the top prize has already been won? It happens everyday! Millions of dollars are bought each year on scratch offs where the top prize is completely gone and has already been won! Go to your states website and take a look to make sure you ONLY buy tickets where the top prize has not been won.

Now when buying scratch-off tickets, many people make the mistake of buying ENTIRE scratch-off rolls. This is a HUGE MISTAKE. Each scratch off roll costs $300.00. On average you will win HALF your money back if you are lucky. Many hardcore scratch-off players buy hundreds of scratch off rolls a year and on average only win half their money back if they are lucky. This is definitely not the best scratch off strategy. If you are going to buy scratch off rolls you might as well not play the scratch off lottery at all.

I have been playing scratch off tickets for over 20 years and have been working in a convenience store. I have seen all sorts of scratch off winners and LOSERS. I have seen people lose over $1000 in an hour! I have also seen someone win $500,000. It is all possible with scratch off tickets. Developing the right method to winning scratch off tickets is extremely important and if you find the right strategy you will start investing your money in scratchers instead of wasting your money. If you do not have a strategy you are just pouring your money away into the governments hands. I wish you the best of luck down your path to scratch off success!<bio>Tired of feeding your money into the lottery and getting nothing back?
Craps is a simple game where you bet against the house on the result of two dice being thrown. One or more players take it in turn to be the shooter and roll the dice. The first throw of a round is called the come out roll. If the two dice add up to 7 or 11 is a win or natural. If the two dice add up to 2, 3 or 12 it is called craps and the round starts again with another come out roll. Any other total 4, 5, 6, 8,9 or 10 is rolled a point is created. The shooter then rolls repeatedly until the point or the number 7 is rolled. This is the end of the round. If the point is rolled the same shooter rolls the come out round, if a 7 is rolled it is called a 7 out and the next player on the left.

Players can make any of a number of various bets usually the predicted outcome of the round 7 out or point comes. Other bets involve predicting the outcome of the next roll or than a certain total will come up before 7. Bets are placed with chips on a craps table. A new shooter must bet the table minimum on either the pass line or don't pass line to play.

Bets

Fire Bets, before play begins some casinos allow small bets to be placed on whether the shooter will get many different points of differing values. Nothing is paid out on the first, second and third unique points. The odds on the fourth are 25/1 the fifth 252/1 and the sixth at 1000/1.

A new shooter must bet the table minimum on either the pass line or don't pass line to play. Pass line is a bet on whether the shooter will roll a total of 7 or 11 on their come out roll. If the shooter rolls a 2, 3 or 12 the bet is lost. If a point is established and rolled again the bet is won. If a 7 is rolled before that the bet is lost. A don't pass line bet is the opposite losing if rolling a 7 or 11 and winning if roll a 2 or 3, 12 is a draw to give the house an edge. If a point is created and rolled again the bet looses, if 7 is rolled before the point the bet is won.

Pass odds and don't pass odds bets are for pass line bettors and are taken if a point is created. Pass odds is a bet that a 7 will be rolled before the point. Odds vary depending on the number of the point, though are usually true odds. Don't pass odds bet are the opposite i.e. that a point will be rolled before the 7. Come bets are made after the coming out roll. If the roll the come bet is made on is 7 or 11 it wins otherwise the number rolled has to be rolled again before a 7 in order to win.

Don't come bets bet that craps 2,3 or 12 will come on the next roll not 7 or 11 or if a point is rolled it won't come again before a 7. Single roll bets are on the outcome of the next roll. These bets an either be placed on one number or several. Multi roll bets are like single roll bets except it may take several rolls to determine the outcome

Strategy

The most plausible strategies to win at craps involve controlling the dice when throwing or substituting the dice for ones that are rigged. Both classed as cheating. As a consequence casinos monitor dice carefully and insist the dice hit the back wall of the table to limit the shooters control over the outcome. As a matter of etiquette it is considered bad to move the dice from the table, hold them with more than one hand, they must be in plain view at all times. <bio>The author of this article enjoys playing all kinds of casino games, Play slots and other fun games at http://livedealercasino.eu where you can play many games or visit http://www.roulettecasinogame.co.uk </bio>

Gifts should always leave an impression. Do they?

Whether a gift impresses or not depends mostly on the fact of need of the person to whom it is given. Most of the time, we find that we do not have a proper perception of the requirement of the person we are giving an item to. The fast changes in the present-day high technological environment make the selection of such a gift all the more tough. To make matters worse, what we can afford to spend on a gift is also a matter to be considered.

However, if some time is spent thinking, it is not all that hard to find gifts that would most probably leave an impression even though you are not sure of the need of the person receiving the gift. Quite a few times, people are not aware of what they might need and also whether a product that would solve a hassle is available in the market or not.

A sensible way of selecting an impressible gift should be to surf the Internet, read newspapers or make a round of the local stores and look for a bargain. This helps because it provides a wider choice and sometimes an expensive gift item is available at a more affordable price.

Gifts that add to the decor of the home are always appreciated. One such item could be a space saver like a wicker bathroom tissue holder, which can be parked in the corner of the bathroom and hold four tissue rolls easily. Other types of tissue holders including those made of steel are also available, which hold five instead of four tissue rolls. But these have to be kept away from splashing water.

Handling kitchen wrappers in boxes that they were sold in is so cumbersome that one ends up wasting a good quantity of the length. Kitchen wrapper dispensers are a boon as they enable the receiver to pull out the desired length easily and without messing up the remaining roll. This convenient gift has room for kitchen paper rolls, salt and pepper shakers, napkins and comes with a handy knife for safety of cutting the rolls.

Customized hats for men make a very suitable gift. Shopping online will enable you to create a hat that the receiver would appreciate if his hobby or interests are kept in mind. Fishing enthusiasts for example would love an angler's hat.

Toys of the like of Melissa and Doug learning tools that let children have fun along with providing some learning are a super idea for gifts for children. Similarly, those who are fond of fruits would love to have that apple switch plate or outlet cover. The cover fits over the outlet and adds to the available décor too.

Since most people like to place their mail or notes under a fridge magnet instead of stuffing them in a drawer, magnets too make a useful gift for all.

Desk organizers, software, electronics and other similar items will impress those who work on computers. These convenient items go a long way to clear the paraphernalia spread all around the work place and cost much less than anyone would imagine. <bio>Discover more articles offering gift tips and ideas by visiting http://www.gifts-tips.com </bio>

If you had all the money in the world, which car would you buy? Well, I'm sure each of us has his/her own dream car, but in the end if your car doesn't figure in the list I am about to describe, then you probably don't know all that much about cars! Let's take a look at the best sets of wheels that money (and you need a lot of money for buying these) can buy.

The car on the top of the list, the most powerful, expensive, and fastest production car in the world, comes from the stables of Volkswagen - the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. With a top speed of over 400 km/h (253 mph), the car is named after racing driver Pierre Veyron. Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS builds the car and then sells it under the legendary Bugatti marque. The Veyron is said to generate '1001 horsepower' -- that's how strong its engine is! No wonder it's perched at the top.

Next on the list is the Enzo Ferrari -- named after the founder of Ferrari, the car was built in 2003. It uses the latest Formula One technology with the added advantage of incorporating certain features not allowed in F1, such as active aerodynamics. Once the maximum down-force is reached, it is maintained by the rear spoiler, activated by computer.

Pagani Zonda C12 F, which was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005, comes next. With a 3.2 second zero-to-sixty sprint and a top speed of 225 mph (374 km per hour), the Zonda F Clubsport is in the top bracket of cars, and deservedly so.

Koenigsegg CCX, a supercar, is next in line. Competition Coupe X gets abbreviated to CCX, commemorating the tenth anniversary of the test drive of the first CC car in 1996. The car is more suited for US markets, as it was built to comply with regulations in the USA.

The car which follows is perhaps best known as the German supercar, manufactured by Porsche. The Porsche Carrera GT has a top speed of 206 mph (330 km per hour) and accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds.

Mercedes surely can't be kept too far down this list -- the Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren, a sports car cum supercar, is developed by Daimler Chrysler in collaboration with McLaren Cars. The SLR also uses the technologies used to power the McLaren Mercedes cars in Formula One.

Maybach is perhaps a car whose name is synonymous with class and quality. Derived from the Mercedes Benz Maybach, it was seen as a direct challenger to the Rolls Royce/Bentley, when it was introduced in 2002. The Mercedes engine in the Maybach generates 550 horsepower.

Rounding off the top ten are the Rolls Royce Phantom, the Lamborghini Murcielago and the Aston Martin Vanquish. The first Rolls-Royce Model presented by BMW (in 2003), the Phantom is a luxury saloon automobile which produces 453 horsepower. Meanwhile, the supercar introduced in 2002 by Lamborghini was seen as a successor to Diablo and the two-seater produces 640 bhp. The Aston Martin Vanquish came into the limelight as James Bond's wheels in Die Another Day. The supercar, manufactured in 2001, is powered by a 460 hp engine and controlled by a semi-automatic transmission.

If you want to buy any of these cars, be ready to cough up -- because the price ranges from 255 grand (in dollars) for the Aston Martin to 1.7 million dollars for the ultimate car, the Buggati Veyron. But if you do happen to have the cash, what are you waiting for?<bio>High Point Furniture Market Rental CarsFurniture Market</bio>

Many people test their luck in trying to win the lottery but fail to realize the actual odds of trying to win the lotto. Put it this way, you have a better chance of getting struck by lightning TWICE in one day, rather than winning the lottery. It is nearly impossible but many people dump thousands and thousands of dollars a year in hopes of becoming a millionaire overnight.

Pick winning lottery numbers is nearly impossible which is why many states have scratch off tickets where you will instantly become a winner in seconds. I have been playing scratch offs for over 25 years. Being a convenience store owner, I saw first hand how many people won scratch off tickets and what method they used to win them. I saw one guy even win ONE MILLION DOLLARS! I could not believe it, he nearly fainted and I thought I was going to have to call the ambulance! I have also been on the opposite end of the spectrum. I have seen people lose thousands and thousands of dollars! Some people thought that buying whole scratch off rolls was the way to go. Each roll costs at least $300, and their return on investment was on average NEGATIVE 120 dollars at least!

That's right; each time a roll was bought on average they lost nearly 120 dollars. It wasn't worth it and I highly recommend NOT buying entire scratch off ticket rolls. You don't need lucky numbers or horrible chances of winning the lottery. If you're buying the RIGHT scratch offs tickets you should have a 1:3 chance of winning AT LEAST. When buying instant game tickets you need to stick to $2, $5, $10, and $20 tickets. These give you the best chances of winning. Stay CLEAR of $1 tickets. These are for suckers and you will just lose your money consistently instead of winning. You have on average a 1:9 chance to win a FREE TICKET. That is risking $9.00 for the chance to win a $1.00 FREE TICKET. Doesn't make sense right? Well people spend millions of dollars on 1 dollar tickets every year. It is you're states money maker and they make the most profits off $1 tickets. The winning tickets are usually bought at the $20.00 level. At this level you have a 1 in 3 chance of winning AT LEAST your money back. If you are using scratch-off techniques of increasing your odds and chances of winning you will turn this 1 in 3 chance into a 1 in 1.5 chance.

There is a lot that goes into choosing winning scratch off tickets. Where you should buy the tickets, the amounts you should pay for each ticket, how many to buy in a row, where to cut your losses, etc...Many people think there is no strategy into buying scratch off tickets. If you think this way you are wrong. There are so many scratch off secrets out there to help you stop wasting your money and start investing it playing the instant lottery games.<bio>Chris Malcolm is a professional gambler that specializes in profiting from lottery games.
When trying to beat the game of roulette, the winning is all in the numbers. When the player takes the time to notice the patterns of the wheel, they will end up a winner in the end.

Pivot System Roulette

If the player wants to beat the game of roulette using the pivot system, they will need to take note of all the winning numbers on the roulette wheel. The player is looking for the first winning number to repeat. That repeating number is called the pivot number and will be the number the player will bet in order to beat the game.

An adequate example of a winning number sequence may be 12, 15, 17, 20, 22, 12. The number 12 is now the pivot number and the number the player will bet on the wheel.

The player will now bet the number 12 for 36 rolls or until the number hits as a winner. The odds when betting any particular individual number on the roulette wheel pays out 35 to 1. This means the player will have a total of 36 chances to win a huge profit or at the very least break even in the game. When the number 12 hits, the player will need to start the process all over again at the same wheel or as an option, move to another table and find the pivot again.

The law of unequal distribution, a mathematical rule, is at the heart of beating the game of roulette. When measured for a short period of time, the chances of all 37 numbers hitting in a row is slim to none. But, when measured over thousands of rolls, all numbers will hit the same amount of times.

Austrian System Roulette

Another way to beat the game of roulette is with the Austrian system. In order to use this method of beating the roulette wheel, the player will need to memorize the spots on the roulette table where the chips will be placed. The idea is to cover as many numbers as possible with the least amount of chips. The player will place 6 chips on the first column and 6 chips on the third column. Additional chips will be placed between the numbers 0 and 00, in American roulette, 8 and 11, 17 and 20 and 26 and 29.

Every time one of the 32 covered numbers hits, the player will be a winner on 2 of the chips bet. This system will return a winner in 85% of all bets and winning the game of roulette and beating the game of roulette can only be measured by the amount of money won at the end of a hand.

The player may find themselves asking, what happens if I lose all 16 chips? How can I beat this game with those chances? According to mathematical rules, this will only happen 15% of the time. That means the player will win more often than lose and thus beat the game of roulette.

Beating any casino game is all about winning money. The pivot theory and the Austrian theory are two ways of winning the game of roulette.<bio>Want to beat online roulette? How about beat online casinos. We can show you how.</bio>

Get ready for Christmas, it will be here before you know it. Decorating the Christmas tree can be either an exciting, fun task or it can become expensive and can seem like more trouble then its worth. If you begin early enough you may just find that homemade ornaments are inexpensive and a lovely way to spend time with the family. The only limitation being your imagination and by doing a little bit of research, the internet has some great ideas, you can begin a new family tradition. Every holiday you can add to your new homemade ornaments collection.

You can cut costs amazingly by using last years Christmas wrap. Everyone always has some of last years rolls hidden away and you did buy them in the first place because you thought that they were very attractive. Make simple patterns on your rolls of paper and fold them into different shapes, such as stars, moons or fan shape. Next, glue on an attractive ribbon so that your ornaments can be attached to the Christmas tree. With a little bit of research, you may even want to try your hand at a bit of origami; it really isn't as hard as you may think. Also think about your old Christmas cards your family and friends sent, nice aren't they? You may want to consider cutting them into different shapes and use a hole punch to add some pretty ribbon to attach them to your tree, you can even use them to make frames. If you use your imagination you will be able to come up with all sorts of ideas.

Of course the edible kinds of decorations and ornaments are always a lot of fun for big and little children alike. There is the traditional popcorn stringing or you might want to consider using cranberries or nuts. Gingerbread cookies cut into different shapes are a fun idea as well. There are many recipes out there mixing flour, water, cinnamon and cornstarch that you can find to use with cookie cutters that make some very nice ornaments. Another kind of ornament can be made from tin. You can find supplies at a craft or hardware stores. You will need tin snips, and a hole punch for metal to make the holes, and then you just need the tin sheets or rolls. Some caution should be used with this craft due to the sharp edges of the tin. You can find clear plastic or glass ornaments at a craft store that you can paint with any design that you wish on the outside. Some of them you may want to pour some paint inside of the ornament and swirl it around for a beautiful unique design. You can also fill them up with different objects using the old imagination, such as bright snippets of ribbon, or little tiny glittered pine cones.

Beads and bead kits can be used to make some spectacular decorations or you can simply string them. You can also find many different ideas and kits at the craft store, spend an hour or so walking around and you will come up with some very great , original ideas. Whatever kind of homemade decorations you and your family can come up with will bring you together to make some lasting memories and quality, family time. And an awesome looking Christmas tree too. <bio>Marianne Jackson is a staff writer at http://www.christmas-gazette.com and is an occasional contributor to several other websites, including http://www.family-review.com. </bio>

Bringing up a baby is an overwhelming process. You need to care for him, buy several things like food, clothing, bedding, medicines among other things to make his little world happy. Quite an expensive task! So what do you do? May be trying to save a bit. But how? You can save an amount of money by making things on your own, for example, baby wipes. The home made wipes not only save your bucks, they do provide comfort for your baby's delicate skin.

Home made wipes are nothing different from the ones your buy from your local store- they are convenient and portable and moreover they prevent your baby from skin-irritation which is a thing often caused by purchased baby wipes. For making them, arrange for a roll of paper towels like Bounty or Viva. A robust container made of plastic with a lid along with Baby bath liquid, water are what you need more. Observe that you have started to save your money. The average price for baby wipes is $3-$5 and you are spending it to buy alcohol, chemicals, fragrance among other ingredients that constitute the baby wipes which only serves in drying baby skin. You are even paying for water. Contrarily the ingredients that you have listed for making wipes can easily make for two batches of baby wipes and only asks for 60% of every purchased pack. You can also opt for baby bath liquid and make the wipes all natural or organic.

Opt for a cylindrical container made of plastic that is a bit bigger than a quart container. Make sure that the container is enough tall to hold a roll of paper towels that is cut into half. The lid of the container should fit tightly. For cutting an 'X' slit in the centre of the lid take the service of a sharp blade. By a sharp knife cut the roll of paper in half. This cut will make the paper roll into two that will resemble rolls of toilet paper. Now put of the rolls in the container.

In a bowl, mix well two tablespoons of baby-bath liquid and two cups of water. In the container pour this mixture. This should be left for at least 5 minutes since the paper towels need to soak the mixture properly. After this interval pull smoothly the cardboard core from the paper roll. This should be done in such a way that the innermost piece of paper towel will follow up. Now pull the piece of paper towel through the 'X' slit in the container's lid. Lastly you put the lid again on the container.

So you are now ready to utilize the wipe container. When you need a wipe pull the paper towel thorough the container lid. As this towel is perforated it will tear off smoothly and the next wipe will be ready for later. <bio>Jean Masterson is a mother of three and an author.
What is great about either tuna or chicken salads is that there is hardly any wastage (unless of course, the cook has already messed up the salad big time). Should the preparation for these salads exceed the expected consumption, they can be recycled the next day as a sandwich.

Just throw in maybe feta or mozzarella cheese, place it on any bread of your choice, pop it in the oven and you are ready to go with a totally different dish.
Just how challenging is backgammon to play? It's a question anyone new to the game will ask. Quite truthfully, the game is not that challenging. The basic rules are fairly simple so that anyone can pick up the game. But playing expertly can be a challenge because a lot of the correct plays can be counter-intuitive.

Placement of one's checkers can be essential to actually winning a game, as leaving yourself open to hits isn't very smart. But moving around the board to your home area can take some thinking and good dice rolls. It may sound contradictory, but in the beginning of a game it's must better to leave a checker open to a hit, rather than later. That is because it's much easier to get back on the board and through your opponents home board in the beginning when they won't have many checkers there to block you in as later in the game. This can be determined by odd dice rolls early on and help you later in the game to win by getting past your opponent with those individual checkers.

One thing that is a challenge in the game is setting up a five-point in your opponent's home board (defensive anchor). This is will keep your opponent from bearing in if you can accomplish it. Another good thing about pulling off this move is making sure your opponent can't block you out if they hit you. This move also takes some luck with the dice to only move your two checkers in your opponents' home board to the five-point location however other hit checkers may jump in to help make that anchor too.

On the same note, you will want to get your own five-point filled up to keep your opponent in your home board when you hit them. This won't be as difficult if you have a opening roll of 3 and 1 or if you slot a piece down there and don't get hit on your opponents roll. But trying to do both without losing too many checkers to hits can be hard if the dice are not giving you what you need.

Playing the game will teach you how to win by learning what you can each time. Playing against better players will teach you other ways to win. But these tips can make it easier to challenge the next person you play. And possibly make them wonder just how long you have been playing. <bio>All of Shawn's backgammon strategy articles can be found at http://HomeBackgammon.com along with bonus codes, freeroll listings and tournament schedules. </bio>

There was a time not very long ago, say just 10 years ago, when we would buy and develop a roll of film if we wanted to take pictures. There were limited number of pictures that you could take and if you wanted to take many pictures you had to carry as many rolls and batteries.

Many rolls or frames would be wasted if the pictures were not of your liking; but you could do nothing about it. The money was wasted and you had to bear it. If you were a little careless then the entire roll could be exposed and thus go waste and you would be left with nothing. In the world of snap shooting, after Polaroid cameras, Digital cameras have brought about a revolution. They have completely revolutionized the way people take pictures.

Digital cameras can be called a computer accessory too because you can download the pictures in the computer and take out the print outs. You may email to any one that you wish to.

Deciding upon a digital camera isn't easy. You need to research well. You should know what you need, what you are going to use for and what is available in the market. If you want to take pictures like a professional photographer you must know all that you can about tripods, external flash, lenses and filters.

Apart from taking still photographs, digital cameras also take video photography and capture sounds. Thus there are various categories of digital cameras like modular digital cameras for professionals and also video cameras. There are digital cameras too which are multi functional.

There is a large variety of digital cameras in the market and each one of them is different from the other. The prices vary according to the features inbuilt; hence if you are bound by a budget then it is not very difficult to select one. But if budget is not an issue then you need to select more carefully.

If you buy one with advanced features then it will be a waste of money and the same if you buy one which hasn`t got all the features that you are looking for. In any case, resolution is something that you must look out for. It must be what you need otherwise it will lead to wastage of storage space and processing power and of course money. In the beginning it was just 1 mega pixel but now it is above 10 mega pixels. This makes the picture quality superb!

If you intend to post pictures on the web or your computer or send them by e mails, a lower pixel resolution will work just well. You also don`t really need a huge capacity memory card. Even one with a small memory can perform all the functions.

There is software called Photoshop or Corel paint which allows you to make countless changes in the photos that you have taken. You may change or modify the background, and make many more relevant changes.

Digital cameras may use A size batteries or may have their own batteries which may be rechargeable. You may connect the camera to your computer via Bluetooth or Fire Wire Port. USB is another method of connecting it to the computer.

Thus there are quite a few benefits of using a digital camera and the world is fast turning towards it. The days of developing a roll are now history. The immediate gratification that you get on seeing the freshly taken pictures and the benefit of editing out the short comings make digital cameras a choice of the new generation. <bio>This article can also be accessed in Portuguese language from the Article section of page http://www.polomercantil.com.br/camera-digital.php Roberto Sedycias works as IT consultant for http://www.polomercantil.com.br </bio>

When asked recently "What tonneau cover would fit a Honda Ridgeline?" I really had to dig but there are a few covers that fit the bill. First of all not being familiar with the Ridgeline by Honda I had to investigate. The Honda Ridgeline looks sort of like a cross between an SUV and a pickup truck. I certainly am not knocking this vehicle I think it looks absolutely great. Unfortunately at the time I wrote this article there are not a lot of tonneau covers manufactured to fit this pickup truck. I do hope that changes in the near future.

The first and my favorite for the said automobile that I did find is the BakFlip folding tonneau cover by Bak. This is a lockable hardtop tonneau cover made from an ABS plastic laminated over a honey comb core for extra strength. This tonneau cover allows you quick easy access to your truck bed by folding up in sections and when folded back all the way, it protects your rear window from large loads. The cover is easily removed by loosening a couple of wing nuts. This cover would add a great look to an already great looking automobile.

The next tonneau cover I found for the Honda Ridgeline is the Lo Pro soft roll-up truck bed cover by Truxedo. This soft roll-up tonneau has no snaps, it uses large velcro loop system for great sealing. This tonneau cover has a patented tension control so it will keep a snug fit on your Honda Ridgeline in all types of weather conditions. The Lo Pro rolls up and out of the way for easy access to your complete truck bed.

The last tonneau I found to fit the Honda Ridgeline was the Access Roll-up tonneau cover. The roll-up by Access also uses a hook and loop system to seal the tonneau. This cover uses an easy dial tensioner to keep the tonneau snug. The frame of this tonneau is made from aluminum and everything rolls up quickly to get at the bed of your Honda Ridgeline.

Whatever your choice is you will be getting a quality tonneau cover with any of these three truck bed covers. There are not a lot of tonneau covers for the Honda Ridgeline but these three would all look great on this pickup truck. <bio>All rights reserved. The author of this article is Ken Bishop.
Technology is changing fast and not everyone can adopt quickly and welcome the changes. Believe it or not, but there are those who have a problem accepting emails even today though it has become the primary mode of communication. The usage of PDA's to store memos and notes is even less. It comes as no surprise thus that buying a digital camera is gaining acceptance slowly. Most people still prefer a film-based model and sift over only if they have to.

Most people who plan on buying a digital camera start off startled as they see the picture quality it can give from someone else's digital camera. So they decide on buying a digital camera to get the same quality snaps. Plus, a digital camera is very convenient as there is no need for film rolls anymore. So remembering the rolls and what snaps are on them are on their way out. Storing conventional snaps can also become a problem as they tend to get lost and destroyed. Buying a digital camera solves all these problems.

So when you have decided on buying a digital camera you should start off by doing some research work. Try to read a few online reviews of user experiences to know about the various brands, their features, pluses and minuses. Before buying a digital camera you should know them and thus you will yourself know what you should go for. These online resources will also help you find the best bargains. Once you have gone through them, buying a digital camera would be a whole lot easier.

So first decide whether you are ready for buying a digital camera and then carry out the research before taking a final decision. You can start off by checking a few online shops, these usually offer great bargains. But which stores do you need to turn to? Are these stores secured for online purchases? Do some store reviews as part of your research before buying a digital camera. This will surely make your job of buying a digital camera much easier.

And once you have your camera and used it for a while, you will find that you cannot live without it. You are sure to wonder why you didn't decide on buying a digital camera earlier. Try out the various effects, settings and techniques and clean up your old pictures with the provided photo editing software. You are sure to have a lot of fun. It will add a new meaning to photography.

So don't just keep thinking about buying a digital camera. Go ahead and do it. A digital camera is convenient and the pictures are better as well. So what are you waiting for? <bio>If you'd like to explore more about todays latest consumer electronics technology visit our website for more articles at http://gadetsaddiction.com </bio>

You know the drill=85 you run around all day taking care of the kids, the household and your job and before you know it 7pm rolls around and you have no idea what to fix for dinner. That used to be me too. The solution was usually to sever everyone a bowl of cereal or call the pizza delivery guy. Not anymore. While I'm still just as busy as ever, I also realize how important it is to prepare a "real" dinner for my family. Not only is it much healthier, we also end up saving money we used to spend on takeout and we have come closer as a family. I wouldn't trade dinner time for anything in the world and neither should you. Here are my best tips for getting dinner on the table even if you're as busy as I am.

Get Everyone Involved

One of my biggest secrets is that I don't try to be supermom and I don't try to get everything done by myself. Of course this includes making dinner. In our house cooking is a family affair. My husband and daughter are in the kitchen with me, cooking, setting the table and cleaning up after along with me. It makes every step of the process much faster, and when I am running late and don't make it home in time to get dinner started, the two of them can get started without me. Cooking together is also a great way for the three of us to bond.

Shortcuts Are OK

Don't feel like you have to make everything from scratch for it to count as a home-cooked meal. It's ok to take shortcuts. Some of my favorites are to use bagged salad that's already cleaned and ready to go, breadsticks and rolls that just need heating up and all kinds of canned soup or stews. There are also quite a few good frozen meal packs available these days that you just cook in the pan or in your slow cooker. Whenever I do take the time to make things like soup, stew, casseroles or even meat loaf, I make several batches of the dish and freeze the remaining portions for another day when I'm short on time. What counts is that you get a healthy meal on the table, not the amount of time you spent in front of the stove.

Plan Your Meals

Last, but not least, let me share my biggest secret with you =96 I plan my meals. It's sooo much easier to get dinner on the table, when you know exactly what you're going to cook ahead of time and have what you need at hand. Just sit down once a week with a pen and a piece of paper and write down exactly what you are going to make for dinner each day of the week. Get your recipes out , and attach them to the list, then make a grocery list. It saves a lot of time only having to go to the store once a week and by attaching the recipes to the list of menus, other family members can get started on dinner when you're running late. <bio>For a great free report on meal planning basics visit http://www.menuplanningcentral.com =96 the report goes into much more detail on how you can start planning your meals and also comes with a blank menu planning worksheet and shopping list that I use every week. </bio>

You should collect what you like and enjoy. This is Your Dream. Design it any way you want. Never-the-less, . . . decide on Foreign coins or US Coins; and Proof or Mint State. If US, then decide upon a Denomination: penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar, dollar or other.

Or, decide upon a particular Period in History, e.g.: Morgan Dollars (Lady Liberty, Following Civil War), Peace Dollars (Following WWI), War Time Cents (Steel and Shell Casing - WWII), War Time Nickels (Silver - WWII), Silver quarters and dimes =96 pre 1965; Statehood Quarters; 20th Century; 19th Century.

Or decide upon an Historical Figure; Kennedy Half Dollars (Following his death), Lincoln Cents; Washington Quarters; Franklin Half Dollars; Eisenhower Dollars, Susan B Anthony Dollars, Roosevelt Dimes; Sacagawea Dollars. You can also choose Type Sets, Year Sets, Mint Sets, Proof Sets and Decades.

The Next Step is to decide upon the Quality of coin you want to collect. Your choices are: a) pocket change; b) bank rolls; c) US mint and proof rolls and sets (new and used); d) Buy from Coin Shows and Clubs; e) Buy on the Internet; f) Buy from coin dealer; g) Buy from a coin magazine or ad. Each has their benefits and advantages. Pocket Change and Bank Rolls provide Circulated coins. The US Mint provides Uncirculated "Mint State" and "Proof" coins, but only on an annual basis.

The Internet provides the Greatest Selection from private Web Sites, e.g.: http://www.ThePerfect-Coin.Com to the big Auctions like eBay, Yahoo, Heritage and TeleTrade. And With the advent of http://PayPal.com (free) it becomes very quick and easy to pay for purchases over the Internet and by Phone.

The one thing that is important in all of the above choices is the Grade of the Coin, which is closely related to Value (a topic for another article). But which leads to the next choice: Buy Slabbed or Raw? Raw coins are what you find in pocket change. Slabbed coins are those that are Professionally Certified and Graded by an Independent Third Party. The coin is then placed in a "slab", made of plastic, identified, labeled and sealed. It actually takes 3 Professionals to decide upon the Grade of a Coin. If Buying Raw Coins, You need to Know How to Grade a Coin. Even then, there will be Disputes about the Grade. When Buying a Slabbed coin, You Know the Grade. The Grade Becomes Virtually Undisputable! All references to Price in any resource are Based on Grading, which follows the Guidelines set by the ANA =96 American Numismatic Association. Currently, there are only Four Companies that are Recognized for Strictly following these Guidelines: PCGS, NGC, ICG and ANACS. It is from these Professionals that one should buy slabbed coins. Buying Slabbed Coins is the First Rule of Serious Coin Collecting.

Obviously, one will be very limited in the years, mints, and varieties available from pocket change and bank rolls - both being local in nature. Even if starting with these means of collecting, always keep an open mind the other resources. So, a little future insight helps to decide that better resources will yield better coin collections. Most collections will span a greater range of years, than either pocket change or bank rolls can possibly produce. It is therefore imperative to investigate other resources.

Your Budget will usually determine the Grade of coin that you can afford to collect. MS63-MS65 is an Ideal range for Collecting, not only because of the excellent Condition and Detail of the coins, but also the greater availability, lower costs, and because coins in this range tend to Appreciate faster than other Grades. There item is very simple, and it has to do with the quality of the coin =96 or how much you want to Spend per Coin - for an average coin, for an exceptional coin, or a perfect coin. Your budget will usually determine this factor, or, how much per month you can spend per month for your new Investment. Never doubt that Coin Collecting is an Investment. Although it is easy to overlook the amount of time spent on this Endeavor because two of the main ingredients are Pleasure and Enjoyment. Confucius Say:

"If you enjoy what you are doing, you will never work another day in your life."

Think of it as a Fund. You are trading Money for . . . Money that Grows and Gives Pleasure! Properly attended, this Fund can quite possibly put someone through college.

Lastly, decide whether to collect all of the coins in your Group =96 including varieties and errors =96 or just the Regular Issue Coins. Errors and Varieties can become extremely expensive and difficult to find. Most people will avoid them.

This Concept of "Trading Money for Money" is critically important because most people shy away from spending a little more, just to get the best. And I am talking about the best in quality of coin, no matter what the Grade or Price. In other words, get a Coin with the Grade it is Supposed to Have. This is the Only way to be sure of the Value of the Coin. Spend your Money Wisely. Get what you pay for. Until you become a Professional at Grading, rely on the Professional Graders. Whether you choose to collect Kennedy Proof Half Dollars, or Jefferson Nickels from pocket change, thanks to the Internet, you will find a huge selection available, on many different web sites, to give your Coin Collecting efforts a boost. Internet Web Sites will Forever Change Coin Collecting! Why? Because Top Quality Coins can be easily Bought and Sold by any body - since they are Slabbed!

Have fun collecting your Perfect Coins!

Always Know Your Grade!

Robert L Taylor, JD

Copyright 2006, Robert L Taylor, JD <bio>Robert Taylor is a retired Lawyer, from Denver, CO, and who has had a passion for collecting US coins, since the age of 6. Below are some examples and what they mean.

Dog crouches with front legs extended, rear up, and head near the ground: This is the classic play-bow and means simply "I want to play!"

Stiff-legged, upright posture or slow, stiff-legged movement forward: "I am in charge around here!" and "I challenge you." A dominant dog will use this posture to indicate assertion of authority and a willingness to fight for it.

Body slightly sloped forward, feet braced: "I accept your challenge and am ready to fight!"

Dog rolls on side or exposes underside: "Let us not argue" or "I am not a threat to you" or "I accept that you are in charge here." This is a submissive response to avert conflict. Many dogs adopt this posture in a fairly relaxed and contented manner when they are around their pack leader. When your dog rolls on his back for a belly rub, he is actually accepting you as leader of the pack.

Dog places head on another dog's shoulder or places paw on the back of another dog: "I want you to know who is the boss around here." These gestures are commonly used by dominant dogs, pack leaders, and dogs that have aspirations of becoming a pack leader.

Mouthing: This shows up in dog-human interactions as the dog taking the handler's hand in his mouth or, while walking, taking the lead in the mouth. Mouthing can be a serious sign of dominance challenging and shows that the dog does not accept the human as pack leader.

Dog places paw on master's knee: "Look, I am here" or "Pay attention to me." This attention-seeking signal has many variations. They include pawing the air in front of their master or sliding the head under the master's hand.

Hair bristles on back and shoulders: This is a sign of anticipated aggression. A ridge of hair bristling down the back is a sign that says "Do not push me, I am angry!" When the bristling extends to the shoulders it means "I have had it with you" and is a sign of an imminent attack.

Dog sits with one front paw slightly raised: This is another sign of stress but is combined with insecurity. It means "I am anxious, uneasy and concerned."

Dog rolls on his back and rubs it on the ground: This is sometimes preceded by nose rubbing where the dog pushes his face, and possibly his chest against the ground in a rubbing motion or rubs the face with a forepaw, from eyes to nose. They often follow feeding or occur as the dog's owner begins to prepare food. However they also can occur following or in anticipation of other pleasant activities.

Scraping the ground and ripping the turf with the paws: This is usually after the dog has defecated but may occur at other times. Dogs have glands on the bottom of their feet that provide each with a unique scent. What a dog is saying here is "I was here and I am leaving my calling card!"<bio>Article by Kelly Marshall of Oh My Dog Supplies, check for current specials on squeaky dog toys online.</bio>

Few people are aware that there are even different ways to insulate their home, let alone the fact that there are some glaring differences among the different methods. Which is better suited for your particular situation? Rolled insulation, or batting as it is sometimes referred, seems like a better option to some people and it's the often the most recognizable option to most home owners. It seems like the neatest, cleanest and easiest to install option, but it has its advantages and disadvantages just like the blown in insulation that a contractor would come and install in your house with machines.

The Advantages of Rolled Insulation

Convenience

It's true that you can quickly and easily procure rolls of insulation at your local home improvement center and begin performing the work on your own - the same day if you so choose.

Self Satisfaction

For many home owners, there are few things that are as satisfying and rewarding as setting out a plan for a home improvement project, getting all of the necessary supplies and completing the project on their own, with no outside help what so ever.

The Advantages of Blown In Insulation

Performance

Despite the fact that rolled insulation is specifically manufactured to fit right in between standard sized studs or joists - it simply can't match the "fill" of professionally installed blown in insulation. Blown in insulation provides optimal performance because it fits securely into every nook and cranny, it will fill every crack and crevice and surround every piece of conduit and every obstacle, providing a much more effective barrier than rolled insulation.

Speed of Installation

A team of qualified professionals will come out to your home with all of the necessary equipment to properly take care of, in a matter of a few hours, what it could very well have taken you a few days to do with rolled insulation. In addition to the speed, they'll be able to get into areas with blown in insulation that you would have never dreamed of getting into with your rolls of insulation.

Price

Considering the cost of the materials, the higher level of protection from the elements that blown in insulation has over rolled insulation, and the amount of time and work that you won't have to invest, it could be very well worth a little bit higher of an initial investment to have the blown in insulation installed by professionals. You may come to find that the money you are saving on your energy bills will help pay for that extra cost in no time.

If your home was built prior to 1970, chances are you may have no insulation at all in your walls and you probably have insufficient amounts of insulation in your attic and your crawl space. The insulation in your attic or crawl space may be deteriorating or water damaged and simply may be incapable of providing the protection that your home needs from the elements.

Depending upon your location or situation, rolled insulation may very well be more than enough to suit your particular needs, but in areas with rough, harsh climate changes you may need to have blown in insulation installed for your home to be as efficient on energy as possible.

Having the right type and quantity of insulation in your home makes sense; it will make your home more comfortable and save you money. Each different type of insulation has advantages and disadvantages, so if you aren't too sure about what your home may need to be properly insulated then consult a qualified professional to help you make the right decision so you can begin to get the most out of both your cooling and heating systems.<bio>When looking for information on air duct equipment and insulation blowing machines, consider Heat Seal Equipment.</bio>
