In one of the latest analysis of relocation trends of the people in the United States, it has been found that Americans continue to move towards western and southeast states.

According to migration trend analysis by United Van Lines, America's largest mover, Americans continue to gravitate toward the West and Southeast and away from the Northeast and Midwest. The company has been tracking moving trends since 1977 and has about 30 percent of the market for moving household goods. The recent analysis is based on an extended study of 227,254 moves handled by United Van Lines in 2006. The analysis looked at both inbound and outbound moves in the states.

North Carolina emerged as the top state with the highest inbound migration. Of the total volume of moves in the state in 2006, 64 percent were those that were heading into the state. Oregon was at second position with 62.5 percent of moves that were heading into the state. South Carolina followed next with 60.6 percent of inbound moves in 2006. Rounding out the top five states that had the highest inbound migration were Nevada and Idaho with 59.9 percent and 59.3 percent inbound moves respectively.

It is not surprising that out of the top 10 states with inbound migration, 8 were from the Southeast or West. The District of Columbia and South Dakota with an inbound migration of 57.9 percent and 55.9 percent respectively, were the two exceptions that made it into the top ten list dominated by Western and Southeastern states.

Even California, one of the few Western states with moves leaving the state, had the lowest percentage of outbound migration in four years at 52.4 percent.

States that had the highest percentage of outbound moves in the country were all from Eastern and Midwestern regions. An exception was Louisiana, which is yet to recover from the effects of Hurricane Katrina, with the 7th highest outbound migration at 56.4 percent. Michigan and North Dakota had the maximum number of outbound migration with 66 percent of moves outbound. Missouri had 51.8 percent of moves that were outbound. In Kansas, 50.5 percent of moves were inbound.

Although the results do not through light on the reasons for the migration patterns, United Van Lines' study assumes significance for real estate firms and other financial institutions.

If you are considering relocating to another state, be sure to seek out the services of a local real estate agent to guide you through the process of buying or renting a home or condo in your new destination. <bio>http://www.sandiegocondos.name http://www.rancho-bernardo-home.com http://www.powayrealestate.info </bio>

Are you a student planning to study in Australia? Are you studying in Australia with the hope of applying for Permanent Residency (PR) after you finish your course? If so, then you should read this article very carefully.

Before you commit to an enrollment offer from the sheer excitement of being accepted into an Australian University, take a moment to see if your course will allow you to apply for Permanent Residency afterwards. It is a common mistake that some students take by studying a course that does not lead to Australian Permanent Residency. Taking a little time before selecting your course can save a lot of stress and headaches a few years down the road.

Australia's General Skilled Migration programme provides students with visa options to remain in Australia Permanently. However, not all courses are recognized under the General Skilled Migration programme. Students must remember that just because their course is a registered course to meet the requirements for a 'Student Visa', it does not mean that their course is a recognized course for 'Skilled Migration'.

There are specific occupations that are recognized under Australia's Skilled Migration programme. These occupations are listed in the Form 1121i which can be obtained from the Australian Government (Immigration Department). The relevant occupations for Skilled Migration are titled as SOL (Skilled Occupation List) occupations in the form.

Now, that doesn't mean that you can just study any of the occupations on the SOL. If you want to maximize your chances of being eligible to apply for Australian Permanent Residency, you should try to be selective in what you study. Each occupation on the SOL is allocated a value of points. These points are supposed to be indicative of the level of demand the Australia job market has for a specific occupation. Depending on your career choices and life goals, you should try to aim for higher points if you can. Why?

Skilled visas are points tested visas. What this means is that in order to apply for a visa under the programme, you have to meet a points pass-mark. You can accumulate points based on your nominated occupation, age, English proficiency, work experience and other areas under the points system. You can find out more information for specific visas under the programme by reading the 'General Skilled Migration Booklet' #6. This is a MUST READ for all students who are serious about becoming an Australian Permanent Resident before deciding what or where to study in Australia.

You must remember though that laws change over time (such as the occupations on the SOL and the pass-mark) and although you cannot rely 100% on your self-assessed points, you can 'maximize' your chances of success by putting yourself in the best possible position to mitigate your circumstances. Taking control of your situation by following the steps outlined in this article will help you to do that.

Studying in Australia can be a rewarding experience. It is a significant investment, yes, but you can make sure that your investment is wisely placed to yield a return that will open more doors for your future. <bio>We are a Registered Migration Agency in Brisbane, Australia.
Tanzania's Northern Circuit is celebrated for some of the best wildlife safaris in Africa. To embark on a Tanzanian safari will most certainly be the most exciting and memorial adventure you will ever take; returning home with memories that will last a lifetime. However, be warned. Once visited, Tanzania will have you wanting to return again and again to this matchless destination. Tanzania boasts the unparalleled Serengeti, the stunning and unique Ngorongoro Crater and many other extensive parks and game rich reserves. This whole region has a natural abundance of wildlife, the icing on the cake being the last great annual migration left on our planet, when millions of animals thunder across the northern reaches of this vast country.

How to go about this safari adventure depends on your personal preferences. This vast area is best explored by a 4x4 and if your budget allows you, combine this with a flying safari in order to get to the more remote areas. Tanzania offers by way of accommodation on the safari a combination of stylish private camping concessions, luxurious mobile camping or elegant permanent tented camps.

If you want the remote, less traveled area of Tanzania, the exciting, off the beaten track safari locations, then the best option is to fly to the remote reaches where the roads of Tanzania simply do not exist. These parks boast fantastic camps =96 sometimes being the only camp or lodge in a million hectares.

If the migration in the Serengeti is high on your agenda then a luxury mobile tented safari is the best option. Usually it is often obligatory to fly to a localized start point for this kind of game safari.

To give a rough guide on price - the differences in quality, remoteness and luxury are directly related to the cost. For example, a private 4x4 Land Rover safari, staying in good quality lodges, will cost around $500 per person per night.

A flying safari staying in moderately priced camps will cost around $800 per person per night. These camps are fantastic quality and fixed in one location, although some in the Serengeti are luxury semi-mobile tented camps. Private mobile tented safaris are luxury mobile camps organized exclusively for your itinerary and are likely to cost a lot more than the permanent camps.

No walking [with a few exceptions] is allowed in the northern parks and game viewing is by closed-sided vehicle. There are possibilities to walk in certain concession areas, such as around Klein's Camp, outside the Serengeti National Park boundaries and in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Crater Highlands. Oliver's Camp, in the wilderness area of the Tarangire, offers superb walking safaris with an option to camp out in the park overnight. Also the Western Kilimanjaro offers walking safaris with Maasai guides in the private concessions on the Kenyan border.

The annual migration of herds in Northern Tanzania and Kenya is one of the world's most spectacular wildlife events. Often referred to as the `Greatest Show on Earth', The Great Migration is a movement of over one million wildebeest and zebra throughout the Serengeti and Maasai Mara ecosystems.

Despite the confusion of the many maps and illustrations showing the path of the migrating herds, it must be said, as with anything in Nature, the actual pattern is unpredictable. The migration depends upon the rains and the rains are unpredictable. If the rain pattern changes, so will the migration. If the rains are late, so will be the migration.

A rough guide to the migration is as follows:

From December to March the Migration congregates around Ndutu, in the far south of the Serengeti.

From April to May, the Migration moves North into the plains of the central and southern Serengeti.

Between June and July the Migration splits in two; one group goes West into the Western Corridor before crossing the Grumeti River, the other heading directly to the North of the Serengeti passing near Klein's Camp.

From August to October the Migration is usually in the Maasai Mara in Kenya, returning South across the Tanzanian border in November.

I would advise anyone wanting a migration safari to research and speak to a few operators in Tanzania. The semi permanent camps in the Serenegeti are luxury camps that move three or four times per year to follow the migration and in my opinion, these camps are the safest option for being close up and personal with the migratory animals. <bio>For more information on hiking in Tanzania and Tanzania's National parks contact the Tanzania information Hub http://www.tanzania-info.co.uk and for tourist information http://www.betheladventure.co.uk remember that tourism can change lives - make sure your trip to Africa makes a difference. </bio>

You have decided to take a safari and without hesitation I would advise a Serengeti Safari in Northern Tanzania. A Safari across the endless plains of the Serengeti to witness the last, great migration on earth is an unforgettable experience. The whole safari across the huge Serengeti is a package with an abundance of animals rivaled no where else in Africa. It is compounded with majestic landscapes and the fascinating tribes you meet. It is here you will realize that you are in Africa proper.

The great migration safari in the Serenegeti comprises of hundreds of thousands of wildebeest in a never ending cycle of movement, closely followed by the predators looking for an easy meal. The Wildebeest follow the rains and migration is therefore as unpredictable as these rains. It is the last remaining great migration on our planet, and as such, it is a must to take a safari to witness first hand this great event.

Many safari companies try to predict the whereabouts of the animals. The success of this is dependent on three main things. a. The rains being on time. b. The rains lasting long enough to influence the animal to move. c. The experience of the company organizing migration safaris in the Serengeti. The problem with these predictions is that in recent years the rains have not been on time or they have even failed, leaving some safari-makers with clients in the wrong lodges in the wrong area of the Serengeti. Recently many people on safari in Kenya [as the migration crosses the border and for a short time the migration is in Kenya] experienced the failure of the long rains and with this failure most of the animals remained in the Northern Serengeti, leaving many people on the safari not only in the wrong lodges but in the wrong country!

How to solve this problem involves a little work on your part, in researching your subject and booking your safari vacation with care. Below are a few simple steps as a basic guideline.

1. If you are wanting your safari from late July through to the end of September/October then it is necessary to book well in advance. This time of year is so busy that most of the lodges will become full.

2. Have you heard of overcrowding in the Serenegeti? If you have, the chances are the safari took place between these over crowded summer months and most probably the safari was in the Seronera Valley, in the central Serengeti. This area of the Serengeti has a good, reliable concentration of animals with a year round water supply. Many safari companies [especially the bargain priced safaris] are lazy and send their clients to this part of the Serengeti only. This ensures lower mileage, bigger profits and happy clients because of the abundance of animals. Do ensure your safari includes two areas of the Serengeti. One should be the south or the north of this huge park, depending on the time of year and where the migration is heading.

3. If you have the luxury of booking when tourists are few in Tanzania, then try to leave the actual booking of the safari until a few weeks before your departure. If it is low season, March through to the end of June, then the safaris [that is the accommodation and to a lesser extent transport] are at bargain basement rates. Keep checking on the whereabouts of the migration and then book your accommodation through a quality operator accordingly. Safari operators should be able to get luxury accommodation cheaper than your booking directly - this is how the safari operators make their profit.

4. Unfortunately the easiest way to a successful migration safari in the Serengeti is also the most expensive. Book a luxury safari in a semi permanent luxury tented lodge. They are semi permanent as they move several times per year as the migration moves. This almost guarantees you will be up close and personal with the great migration.

[Do not let the tent bit put you off. They are huge tents with double beds and furniture and even en-suite bathrooms. Some boast of private butlers for each tent. They are small camps and have an intimate relationship with the surroundings.]

How it is possible to keep a check on the whereabouts of the migration is easier said than done. There are many sites that claim to have regular updates but some I checked recently are almost two years past their sell by date. I would suggest keeping in touch with two or three of the small boutique tour operators in Tanzania =96 they have vehicles with drivers who are returning from the Serengeti every week and so know the movements of the animals. They will not mind keeping you well informed of what is happening in order to [hopefully] get a safari booked.

Take time and plan your safari carefully as the planning is a part of the adventure. Take time to research a little and make sure your ground operator in Tanzania is willing to make your safari special. Many of the safari operators are [rather sadly] only bothered about making a quick buck and the client's wishes are of no concern to them. Beware of such companies as they exist at the luxury end as well as the budget end of the spectrum. Tanzania and the Serengeti are amazing. Ensure that with careful planning your safari experience will be an exciting and memorable one. <bio>For information on Tanzania adventures see http://www.betheladventure.co.uk and for all information on Tanzania see http://www.thejumapage.co.uk responsible tourism can change lives, support the communities you visit. </bio>

The discussion around Health and Safety regulations within the Cleaning Industry appears to be a very grey area indeed. Many Cleaning Companies and Employers of Cleaners receive new regulations negatively, seeing these as another way that governments control us, limit freedom and make more money out of businesses. A common attitude is that Health and Safety regulations are simply bureaucratic procedures and more paperwork for the already over-stressed employer. Other Cleaning Companies see new regulations as something that they simply haven't got the time, money or expertise to implement within their companies. Things that they know they really should be doing concerning Health and Safety get pushed to the back of the pile, as there always seems to be more pressing matters to deal with, such as actually making money for the business!

Many small Cleaning Companies may also believe that Health and Safety regulations do not apply to the type of work they do. Strict Health and Safety regulations are something that applies to huge companies and those who work on construction sites, hospitals, and the like. The Cleaning Industry is a high risk, hazardous industry, and Health and Safety Regulations are there for simply that reason. Regardless of the size of the company, the very nature of cleaning itself means that people are at risk of injury and ill health. It is not only your Employees, but other members of the Public are put at risk by each and every Cleaning operation. The HSE states that over =A3500 million per year is spent by the work industry from slips and trips alone. To Cleaners themselves, there were over 3500 work related injuries reported to the HSE in the period of 2005-6, of which 700 were major. Many Employers hide behind the belief that insurance should cover any accident or injury, but the truth is that insurance only covers a small part of the costs.

As an Employer you are responsible for ensuring the Health and Safety of every person who may be affected by the work your company will be carrying out. Work related injury and ill health should never be view as just statistics. They affect real people and result in far more damage to individuals than time out of work.

More information will be available in future articles. <bio>Laura Elizabeth Smith is a Director of Sparkle Cleaning Services(UK)LTD, http://www.wesparkle.co.uk </bio>

Commonly there is an expectation amongst parents of children in close knit families, particularly when a family is of humble means, that the children will grow up, gain a good education and be successful. Taking this one step further those parents of Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents expect to be able to join their children in Australia as permanent residence and eventually as Australian citizens.

Australian Migration Laws however do not allow parents of every Australian permanent resident or every foreign born Australian citizen to migrate to Australia as a permanent resident. There are a number of conditions that the parents have to fulfil or gateways that they successfully have to negotiate to migrate to Australia. Some of the more important ones are discussed below. Balance of Family Test

The andquot;balance of familyandquot; test is defined in Regulation 1.05 of the Australian Migration Regulations. Briefly, to pass this test a parent must have at least half of his or her children permanently residing in Australia (including eligible New Zealand citizens i.e. children with subclass 444 visas) OR they must have the greatest number of children permanently residing in Australia than in any other single overseas country. By way of an example, a parent who has 5 children and 3 of them live in country A and 2 of them live in Australia, that parent would not satisfy the balance of family test. However if the same parent has 1 child in country A, another child in country B and third child in country C and 2 children in Australia, that parent would satisfy the balance of family test. Further if the parent had 3 children in Australia and 2 in other countries then the balance of family test will be satisfied.
An amnesty for illegal immigrants would overwhelm the United Kingdom's social housing stock, an anti immigration think tank has claimed.

Migration Watch UK claims that it would take 20 to 30 years to create the additional social housing needed following an amnesty, given the current rate development of new properties.

However, the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR) argues that allowing illegal immigrants to work legally in the UK would generate over £1 billion extra revenue for the Treasury, which in turn could then be used to build more social housing.

Migration Watch cites the Home Office estimates of illegal immigration, which place the number of illegal workers in the United Kingdom between 310,000 and 570,000.

Sir Andrew Green, chairman of Migration Watch, claims this would make the amnesty impractical. Mr. Green said: The fair allocation of social housing is extremely difficult to achieve at the best of times.

When you add in the unprecedented rise in asylum seekers who have been granted permission to stay here in the last few years and then consider an amnesty against a background of low levels of construction, there is a real risk of harming social cohesion.

However, Jim Bennett, IPPR's head of social policy, told the BBC: There are already around 1.5 million people on council housing waiting lists in England alone, so any former illegal workers would be joining the back of a very long queue.

But as it stands at present people holding work permits do not have access to housing from local authorities and an amnesty would not change that.

Immigration minister Liam Byrne has refused to rule out suggestions of an amnesty, but claims that the government has no plans for one at the current time.

TML specialise in providing bad debt remortgages to homeowners who have current or previous credit issues, cannot prove their income or need to consolidate debt. <bio>TML offer http://www.tml-mortgages.co.uk/mortgages/refused-credit-mortgages/bad-debt-mortgage to people with poor credit backgrounds. </bio>

It's no secret to anyone that the coast of San Diego is the ideal place to watch the annual migration of the gray whale. Looked upon as one of nature's ultimate spectacles; the migration of gray whales is nothing short of breathtaking. The coastline of San Diego is one of their migratory points as they travel from the waters of the Arctic to the warmer regions of the Baja (California), where females also give birth.

Every year, roughly 26,000 gray whales will make the long journey of 10,000+ miles from the Arctic to the Baja and back. If you look at this journey and compare it to any other mammal, you'll notice that the gray whale by far has the greatest amount of traveling at hand.

If you've never experienced whale watching, you'll be happy to know that anyone will find it memorable - young or old. Spotting a gray whale along the coastline is something that is truly a memorable moment, making you stop for a second and truly appreciate these awesome mammals.

If you ask the Birch Aquarium in San Diego, you'll find that gray whales are seen most frequently from December through March. While they travel in dozens normally, it's nothing to see pods of them (2 - 3) as they travel during migration. Throughout the coast of San Diego, you can easily spot these whales as they are somewhat slow swimmers.

During their swimming, they will normally dive to a depth of 100 feet or more for a few minutes, then surface and blow. Then, they will do a few shallow dives, before making that deep dive again. When watching whales, figuring out this pattern makes the success of watching them all the more fun and exciting.

While there are many common places to watch whales, nothing seems to compare to the excitement of watching them from aboard a cruise. There are many cruises that take place in San Diego, many of which offer unbeatable deals. From Handamp;M Landing to the Birch Aquarium, cruises are some of the best ways to see the beauty and tranquility of the traveling gray whales.

The beauty of the gray whales can also be seen from many points of the San Diego coast, including the Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma or the cliffs of Torrey Pines State Beach. Along these points, you can see the whales as they make their travels.

Whether it's a cruise or just watching from the coast, whale watching in San Diego is something you truly have to see to appreciate. You can take your kids, family, or even your friends. Whale watching can definately be exciting, all you have to do is plan your day and enjoy everything that the beauty of the gray whale will provide you with. <bio>Burt Cotton http://www.about-san-diego.com </bio>

Lodge Safaris in Tanzania =96 I will try to avoid the travel clich=E9s of `unique', `off the beaten track' and `renowned for=85' These tired expressions are used over and over again for almost every destination in Africa! The lodge safari in Tanzania is by far the best way to see this lovely country. Tanzania has so much to offer, including many parks that have few visitors and high concentrations of game animals. Some National Parks boast just one lodge in a million hectares. Your Lodge safari in Tanzania can truly offer a taste of what the early explorers experienced.

When choosing your lodge safari, do so with care. Many visitors want to see the great migration and the Serengeti. Some lodges are in fact hotels and although very nice; they do not contribute to that `out of Africa' experience. What is called for is a camp experience and the private camp is ideal for a special experience. When you look to plan your trip try not to go for the `lodge safari' but the private camp safari. Your choice of lodge or camp is a very important part of the whole safari picture.

These camps are usually made up of a small number of tents. Not the two man tent with no standing room and sleeping on the hard and sometimes damp ground, nor is there the cooking over a stove and eating grass and sand with your tinned food. No, these private camps have tents that have large comfortable beds, a bathroom en suite and some even boast a butler service. The cuisine is of the highest quality and you dine from bone china and drink champagne [or beer] from crystal glasses.

If you want to listen at night to the song of the African bush with the occasional distant [or sometimes close] roar of a lion; if you want to open your tent in a morning to be greeted by Impala and Zebra grazing so close to your tent that you could almost touch them, then choose one of the tented camps. If you want to be in a remote part of the park but close to the animals; if you want to stand in the open plains of the Serengeti and not be joined by a caravan of twenty other safari vehicles, then the private camp is your option above the mere mass-market tourist lodge.

There are several such camps scattered throughout the Serengeti. Your choice of camp will depend on what time of year you visit Tanzania. A good camp is Kusini Camp in the Southern Serengeti. It is small, luxurious, and in the ideal spot from the end of December until March, as the great migration is in this area at this time. However, the rest of the year this camp is a little isolated and animals may be harder to see.

A problem with planning a safari round the migration is that the migration follows the rains and the rains are notoriously unpredictable. Your camp may end up being in the wrong area of the Serengeti. At times of little rain the migration can remain in the Northern Serengeti at a time of year when normally the animals have crossed into Kenya. Many safari expeditions in a season of little rain may find themselves in the wrong country!

This is a headache for safari operators, as a disappointed client is not good for business. However, this can be solved with a `mobile camp' and this is not only the best option but also by far, the most expensive option.

To get around the high costs of the mobile camp there is a new breed of camp emerging, a semi-permanent camp. This is a tented camp that moves perhaps three or four times per year. It will follow the migration, ensuring that whilst the migration is in the Serengeti, the camp will also be in the mist of the animals. One such camp I have heard good reports about is EMC [Exclusive Mobile Camp =96 Serengeti]. It is friendly, knowledgeable, embraces fair trade tourism and best of all, the camp is very good value for money. They have a web site and an office in Arusha which will give out details of the migration and the position of their camp. This is great, both for tour operators and for people wanting to plan a safari.

This is where the internet can help in a positive way, to help you plan a safari that will truly be a holiday of a life time. There is no need to hope your travel agent will do a good job in planning your vacation. Take some of the responsibility your self and plan your safari; check out your destination and accommodation. If your travel agent or tour operator is not cooperative or flexible, ask around and go to someone who is willing to earn their commission. <bio>Bethel Adventure cares about responsible tourism; we use tourism to improve lives. http://www.betheladventure.co.uk - We believe responsible tourism should give back to the communities that tourism relies upon. see http://www.thejumapage.co.uk for information on Tanzania </bio>

The label on a dog food product gives a great deal of information about the product inside the bag, box, can or carton. To interpret this data properly, it is necessary to know and understand the various parts of the label copy and the regulations involved. The purpose of this article is to explain current pet food regulations, and what the dog owner can determine from information provided on the label.

Manufacturer's Information

Each label shall show the name and address of the manufacturer, packer or distributor of the dog food. If a manufacturer has several locations where dog food is produced, the name and address of that manufacturer's principal place of business will be used. Net Weight

The net weight statement must be shown on the principal display panel. The declaration of the net weight shall be made in conformity with the U.S. Fair Packaging and Labeling Act and the regulations promulgated there under.

The figures for net weight will be in the lower one-third of the display panel, and the size of the numbers and letters will be determined by the package size.

Net weights may appear on other parts of the label as well as the principal display panel, particularly on larger package sizes. Net weight statement must include weight in metric conversion.

Nutritional Adequacy Statement

The label shall show whether or not the product provides complete and balanced nutrition, and if it is adequate for all life stages or just for a particular life stage, such as maintenance of the adult cat or dog.

Toll-Free Consumer Information Number

Although this is not a required element, some manufacturers include an 800 number on the label. This is an important element for consumers because it can be a source of information not available on the label and a way for dog owners to learn more about the product they are feeding.

Who Establishes and Governs Label Requirement Policies?

The Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) develops the regulations for livestock and companion animal foods.
Migrating and delivering data in a form that can be used by data-centric systems is one of the most important elements for a successful move to the SmartPlant solutions. Intelligent systems can convert data to information, but this requires some form of raw data to be able to function. This discussion of the relationship between systems and data may seem trivial, but it is fundamental to the successful implementation of any new system.

Through the years, we have gathered many lessons learned during data migration projects. Here is a list of my top five lessons learned:

When planning a new system installation, place a line item in the budget for data conversion and migration. In our experience, the migration effort can easily equal the time and cost for system licensing, delivery, training, and startup. The good news is that the investment will serve you for many years to come.

A former boss of mine frequently said, "Projects will come and go, but objects (data) will last forever." Once migration and data recovery have been performed, the result should be considered an asset of the corporation. It should be secure, maintained, and continually used as facilities are designed and modified and decisions are made.

Create and migrate information once and use it many times. The value of information is directly proportional to the number of times it is used. Information referenced even once has real benefit.

Always evaluate how information will be accessible by multiple systems. Fundamentally, today's technical systems are designed to look at the same plant elements -- just different views. Make sure that information is accessible across multiple platforms. SmartPlant Foundation has a groundbreaking capability to unify different information about a plant and the changes made to it. There is tremendous value in SmartPlant Foundation's ability to manage and publish information through multiple data systems. The industry will continue to develop advancements to "glue" together data centers.

Consider the role within your company for "information engineers." Traditionally, companies have employed system/application specialists, but now is the time to take this role to the next level. Information Engineers are responsible for ensuring that information about their particular specialty (rotating equipment, heat exchangers, instruments) is being fully captured, retained, and used multiple times.

The management track for the Intergraph 2003 IPandP conference reflects the emphasis on "data as the fuel." The topics cover significant challenges we all face as we define data-centricity; the business value of integration; e-collaboration in the 21st century; and the owner and EPC of the future. The implications are clear: we must plan and maintain our information with as much care as we have traditionally planned and maintained our software applications. When we achieve this, companies will begin to see the non-linear benefits that can provide a new competitive advantage. <bio>Joe Morray is president of Trinity Technologies.
Few federal regulations affecting payday loans exist today. Proponents of payday loans claim this is so because regulations over and above what individual states have already passed are not necessary. They believe payday loans are viable alternates when individuals find themselves temporarily short on cash. Opponents argue that payday loans are predatory and federal regulations affecting payday loans are needed immediately to curb the growth of this rapidly escalating industry.

The status of federal regulations affecting payday loans

In the year 2000, the wording of Regulation Z of the Federal Truth in Lending Act was modified to include originators of payday loans. Although the Act itself was not new, the wording resulted in the first federal regulations affecting payday loans. Originally designed to force lenders to fairly and accurately disclose to borrowers certain loan terms, the wording forced payday loans originators to also comply. Specifically, payday lenders are now required to disclose the annual percentage rate, all finance charges, the payment schedule and the policy on late payments before an applicant agrees to the loan.

The law also requires that lenders clearly explain these parts of the loan in an easy-to-understand format. In addition to needing to be simplistically explained, the Act states that the terminology must also be readily apparent and not buried in the fine print. Other sections of the Federal Truth in Lending Act that now apply to payday loans include the sections on filing civil complaints against lenders and the ability to recover actual and statutory damages.

Other Federal regulations affecting payday loans have been introduced to Congress as recently as the 2005 session. However, none of these has yet to become law.

States legislation

Although federal regulations affecting payday loans are nearly non-existent, many states have enacted legislation governing payday loans. While crafted with the interests of consumers at heart, state legislation is not consistent among the different states. Instead of protecting consumers, most legislation seems only to confuse consumers further. Some states have even taken the drastic step of outright prohibiting companies from engaging in the business of payday loans.

Given the fact that Federal regulations affecting payday loans are few and State laws governing the process are jumbled, one has to wonder whether or not such legislation is necessary and whether it really can benefit the consumers, the people that many feel are at such risk. In other words, are payday loans really the monster that many claim them to be?

As with anything in life, there's a right way and a wrong way to use a payday loan. Those who see such cash advances as a short-term solution do benefit from their availability. They get the money they need, the fees are reasonable, and they repay the advance when due. On the other hand, those who repeatedly rely on this type of funding can and sometimes do end up with a bigger financial problem on their hands. Shouldn't then the responsibility lie with the applicant and not in the need to create federal regulations affecting payday loans? <bio>http://www.speeddog.com </bio>

With Microsoft CRM software, you don't need to re-enter data that you have stored in other applications such as a set of MS Excel spreadsheets or MS Word docs or even stored in MS Office Outlook emails. There are different ways of importing this data directly into your Microsoft CRM database, thereby saving you a great deal of time and energy.

One feature is the Bulk Import Wizard. This wizard imports your contacts, leads, accounts, marketing groups, and campaign responses data. It's an integral part of Microsoft CRM software and can be used on a routine, even daily, basis by someone in sales or marketing. Whichever user imports the data "owns" it.

This wizard is very useful for importing lists of leads that you have bought or gathered together through emails and telephone calls. You have to store the data in a CSV file or a ..TXT file. The wizard can import the data into the Contact, Account, Campaign Response, and/or Lead areas of Microsoft CRM. You can also import any customized attributes to these areas. Accounts, leads, and contacts can be directly imported into a marketing group. One of the most common utilizations of the Bulk Import Wizard is to import data into Microsoft CRM from a purchased marketing list. Another one is to use the wizard to import contacts exported from Microsoft Outlook into a CSV file.

You cannot import attachments or notes with the Bulk Import Wizard. You can import related records such as a contact record that has to do with a specific account. However, However, tracking the relationship means that you must look up the unique identifier for the parent record in your Microsoft CRM before you import the record of relevance. So, if you have a lot of relevant records that you need to import, or if you feel the need to import notes or attachments, then you can use the Data Migration Framework.

With the Microsoft CRM Data Migration Framework, you will be using it when: records have to be assigned to different Microsoft CRM users; your data to be imported includes notes and attachments; the data includes a lot of relevant records; the data is coming from multiple sources; the data needs to be imported into applications other than Account, Lead, Contact, or Campaign Response; the source data was not created with a Microsoft Office program. You can use Data Migration Framework to import data into an array of other applications with Microsoft CRM including customized ones. The framework uses a staging database called the Common Data Format database. You collect all of the various data into the CDF, and then migrate it to the right places in CRM using a wizard. <bio>Sayed Ally, is the lead CRM Analyst.
If you take a Kenya Safari Holiday then you will probably visit the Masai Mara Reserve, and if you do, then you should choose Keekorok Lodge as your accommodation..

Keekorok Lodge is situated very close to the border with Tanzania, and is in the perfect place to witness the beginning of the Great Migration in late June/July, when the Wildebeest and Zebra begin their great trek.

One of the reasons that Keekorok Lodge is a great place to be is because it is one of the oldest Kenya Safari Holiday Lodges, and so it is positioned in just the right place in the direct path of the migration.

When the great migration is at its peak sometime from August to November, it is completely surrounded by animals, a truly amazing experience.

Keekorok has large and beautiful grounds, and it has been renovated recently, with 100 rooms in bungalows, single story blocks, and comfortable chalets with large private verandas.

They are all well furnished and tastefully decorated with only the best materials. The ensuite bathrooms look out over the plains and distant hills.

Keekorok has a good swimming pool, which is a great place to relax between game drives, a restaurant and a bar, with a viewing deck over the hippo pool, which is full of hippos, and extensive walkways allowing great viewing from the lodge straight onto the game in the park.

The best and quickest way to get to Keekorok is by light aircraft, which comes in from Nairobi and Mombasa .

Food in the restaurant is of good quality, and is buffet style, with lovely cakes and fresh fruit flown in daily from Nairobi. You can sit outside on the terrace at the adjacent bar, well protected by the Masai who will also entertain you. A Kenya Safari Holiday without seeing the Masai dance is an definitely incomplete. You could need the Masai guards when you are sitting outside because Keekorok Lodge has no fences which can at times make like quite interesting, but is definitely a plus point. You might for example hear lion chasing zebra outside your room at night!!

You will see on the game drives in the Masai Mara lions and cheetahs, hyenas, and the defenseless game they follow, but the real joy of Keekorok is the wildebeest and hyena during the migration. Whatever you do, arrange a balloon trip with the champagne breakfast floating over the mass of wildebeest, which is a truly unforgettable experience.

Apart from the balloon trip, it is a good idea to organize your game drives through Keekorok, so you can be sure of being by yourself and family, and not in a minibus which many of the Kenya Safari Tour package holidays organized from home seem to be based around.

To summarize, Keekorok is a great and modern Lodge in the middle of the Masai Mara, and as such a necessary stop on any Kenya Safari Tour. It is large and busy in comparison with other lodges, but if that is what you want as part of your Kenya Holiday then you will like it very much indeed. It is well run, comfortable with excellent service

For more information on In Kenya Safaris go to http://www.in-kenyasafari.com/pages/Site-Map.html <bio>Peter Stewart writes exclusively for http://www.in-kenyasafari.com as well as http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com and has visited personally many of the places he reports on, and has done extensive research on the others </bio>

A Kenya Safari Holiday taking in the Masai Mara, and wanting to see as much wildlife as possible, must include the top class Bateleur Camp at Kichwa Tembo, and here is why it should be a compulsory part of your luxury African safari.

Firstly if you are taking a Kenya Safari Holiday, then you must want to see the Great Migration between June and October, and the Bateleur Camp overlooks the sweeping Masai Mara plains, where during the migration you can witness the massive passing throngs of animals.

Bateleur camp has been deliberately designed to give the feel of the Kenya Safaris of the 20's and 30's and the nine tented suites in each of the two camps certainly do that.

The suites sit in a lush forest kept moist by the river, and are classically elegant with polished wooden floors, ensuite bathrooms with glass walled showers, twin hand basins and a separate flushing toilet.

Each tent has a private verandah, and most importantly it overlooks the vastness of the Masai Mara, and the plentiful game. Add to this a personal butler to cater to your every whim, and it is easy to see how your Kenya safari holiday in the Masai Mara becomes a top luxury African Safari!!

When we come to the public areas of the Camp, the sitting area is full of antiques and artifacts, and you can eat indoors or outdoors. Your butler will be only too happy if you want to eat on your verandah, or even a candlelit dinner under the African sky. The food by the way is quite superb, three great meals every day with wine and cocktails included. In addition no children to disturb your tranquility!!

The great thing about Bateleur is the situation overlooking the plains of the Masai Mara, so the activities will be geared to some extent to the time of year, dominated by the great migration. You will go on morning, and afternoon game drives, always with a qualified guide in your own open safari vehicle, so no having to stand to view. The game drives are included in your daily rate.

Add to this night drives in Kichwa Tembo's private concession, bush walks, Masai community visits, hot air ballooning, and you will have the safari of your life here.

To cap it all you can opt for early morning bush breakfasts, romantic sundowners looking out over the Masai Mara, and candlelit dinners overlooking the Mara river.

This safari camp also has the huge advantage of being in the exclusive West Mara, so at no time will your safari be in the company of dozens of other vehicles.

Bateleur Camp is a must as part of your Kenya Safari Holiday, and if it is a luxury African Safari you want, don't miss it!! <bio>Peter Stewart writes exclusively for http://www.in-kenyasafari.com as well as http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com and he has in depth knowledge of the places he writes about. </bio>

Being an advanced broadband user you should always keep note of latest happening in the broadband area. If your current broadband contract is at its finishing stage, switching to a better provider is sensible to do.

Migrating from providers for your beneficial should be a habit if want to be a matured or advanced broadband user. As you have already used the broadband for a term, it would have transformed you to be an advanced user and so you can confidently look out for a provider who will fulfill your current needs. Same like as a new user before, you again need to make sure that you have identified you broadband needs prior to comparing the providers and their packages.

The very fact is that migrating to another broadband provider will sure save you money on choosing a better package from the new provider. As you are familiar now with the broadband you know what all you need from a provider like speed, download limit, cost etc. Again, you have to be well known with few other terms being a user to switch your provider and one such is MAC.

What is MAC?

Most broadband providers have a code of practice designed to fasten the migration process. This works on an idea that you current provider supply you a code using which your new provider take you to their broadband without any major actions and formalities. This broadband transfer code is called Migration Authority Code or MAC. So your broadband does not get any interruption because of switching the provider and you work on it as usual.

So when you are in a situation of changing your provider it is important not to terminate your connection with your current provider. The MAC system does the job for you with ease in much simpler and quicker way without any hassle.

Changing between Cable and ADSL

ADSL and cable being completely from different technologies, instead migration you simply need to terminate the existing service and start with another. Also, when you are suppose to terminate your ADSL service, confirm with the termination date so that you can avoid too much of having both type of services at same time for which you may need to pay.

For switching from cable to ADSL, you need to have a phone line and your local exchange should be an ADSL converted. You should confirm this before starting your switch.

How much time it take to change a provider?

Approximately, it takes a week of time to change to new provider and this can vary among providers. You should make sure the transfer date of the service with your new provider. Once after the confirmation of your change, your new provider has to take the necessary actions to avoid further subscriptions being billed from your old provider.

Finally, steps for switching

1. Do an extensive search and find out the best package, matching your current needs.

2. Contact your current provider to inform them of your termination of service and request your MAC code. However, this won't be so easy because they may negotiate to keep their business intact with you.

3. Keep in mind, don't terminate your existing service instantly if you are switching to another ADSL provider.

4. Found your new provider! Submit the MAC code to your new provider and take up the new service.

5. During, be careful that the older and new service stays together at same time, billing you needlessly.

What next? Soon, enjoy your new broadband internet with better comfort as you desired. <bio>If you would like to check the UK broadband offers, use http://www.edealsuk.com/Cashback-Cheap-broadband-Deals.aspx and visit http://www.broadbandsuppliers.co.uk for cheap broadband suppliers and get the hottest discounts!
CRM database migration is never an easy undertaking for any company, no matter what its size. Naturally it is always best if you thoroughly evaluate and choose the right application for you first. Then moving to new a customer relationship management application becomes unnecessary. But unforeseen things can happen and making the switch can become something that simply cannot be avoided.

One possible reason could be that your company's needs change. A new manager may recommend a system that he is more familiar with. Or the company may have outgrown the old system, requiring a CRM with greater functionality than the old one can provide.

There are many issues to consider when migrating from one CRM application to another. It is important to ensure that there is not system downtime. This can mean that both systems are running concurrently for a short duration while the switch over is made. The data migration needs to be properly monitored to ensure success with no need for data fixes required.

Even with the best attempts to get everything right you can still run into problems. For example, if you are currently running the latest version of ACT!® software, and you want to switch to another popular application, such as the GoldMine® software, you will discover all manner of difficulties. Transferring the complete calendar, history and customer information across will prove difficult at best, and because of restrictive measures built into the newer versions, impossible in some cases.

Contact management software like ACT!® and GoldMine® are desktop based. But web based systems fare no better in many cases. Extracting the full files with all the history information required, along with calendars and notes for your sales team, may prove equally impossible, or very difficult at least.

After years of using one CRM system, such as the GoldMine® software for example, it is likely that you will have made many customizations that are specific to you and members of the sales team. It may be the case that it is not possible to make the exact same customizations in the new application. Modifying customizations in the new system so that you have something similar to what you had in the old system may not be acceptable.

It is likely that staff members will require some degree of training before they are fully comfortable with using a new customer relationship management system, whether it be ACT!® or GoldMine®, or any of the other applications available. Proper training will reduce the need for tech support. Sometimes the changeover from an old familiar system to a new unfamiliar system needs more training than may be obvious. Old habits can die hard.

On the other hand, if your sales team are totally fed up using an outdated system, they may welcome a new one that has all the bells and whistles they have dreamed about, with open arms. This kind of staff attitude is likely to reduce any training time required.

If the task of database migration from one CRM system to another seems to be just too daunting, there are companies who specialize in these matters. Situated in south west Kenya it is a continuation of the Serengeti national park in Tanzania.

The Masai Mara Game reserve is not the largest in Kenya for your in Kenya Safari, but it is certainly the best known. The whole park is within the Great Rift valley, and is the idea destination for a luxury african safari. Most of the wildlife is to be found in the swampy western border of the Masai Mara, and because this area is the furthest away from Nairobi, it is the open grasslands of the east that sees the greatest concentration of in Kenya safari tourists.

The Masai Mara is well known for lions, but all the othe members of the 'big five' are to be found here. The dominant inhabitant however is the wildebeest, and in July they migrate north to the Masai from Serengeti, and then go back outh again in October.

No Maai Mara Kenya Safari is complete without seeing this amazing migration of over a million wildebeest, and hundreds of thousands of Thmson's Gazelle and Zebra. Naturally your safari will also include the predators on the fringe of the great migration, the lions and hyenas.

A Masai Mara safari with luck will include the Masai giraffe, the large Roan antelope, and the sptted hyena, plus over 450 species of bird life.

Lodges and camps to stay at, inside the reserve must include, Mara Serena, Governor's Camp, Siana Springs tented camp, Mara Simba, Keekorok, and Sarova Mara.

Take a Masai Mara safari, you will not be disappointed. <bio>Peter Stewart writes exclusively for http://www.in-kenyasafari.com as well as http://www.worldwidevacationspots.com and he has in depth knowledge of the places he writes about. </bio>

The ebbing and flow of the population in your target area will therefore be important to determine if your property will do well both in terms of capital appreciation and rental income. This article will therefore help you identify three migration trends that may make you more money in your real estate investment.

Firstly, interstate migration is a simple concept that affects real estate prices to some extent. When a certain large group of people move to another state for instance due to some large factory opening up or some large scale business opening up, you will see that property prices in that particular area heating up. For that matter, it will be prudent to look at states where industries are opening new plants, or the Federal Government is allocating more industrial spending in terms of defence revenue towards to identify which properties will start going up in value. The newspapers and county statistics at the local office should avail you of such migration data and spend some time researching on it before making your next real estate investment.

You will notice that most people gripe and bemoan the fact that they missed out on the last real estate gold rush, I would suggest that you should therefore spend some time looking out for developments in your country or state and seize them. Another good way to spot such trends is to make friends with a real estate agent and tap on their real estate knowledge to do better in your real estate investments.

Secondly, the university town syndrome is easy to spot for the purposes of real estate investments. Students from all over the world and from other states flock to institutes of higher learning and so require housing. I am sure most of you are familiar with this and Sydney is one example in point where weekly rentals are quite high due to the various universities that are around the residential sites in the area.

What most people are not attuned to is the real estate growth of the university and the prospects of rental increase of the properties that are around the growth areas of the university. Always be on the lookout for possible university property expansion and purchase property on the fringes so that you can cater to the prospective student renters around the vicinity and make more from your real estate investments.

Thirdly, governmental Rezoning and Development is another key indicator of real estate prices increasing. Spend some time today to look at the master plan for your state and figure out where the next growth sector or area is going to be. Where infrastructure and development and progress is seen, prices of surrounding property will increase commensurately and thus your real estate investment will also ride the trend.

In addition, look for the presence of good schools, access to highways and other subway rail stations. All these amenities will boost the price of your real estate investment when compared to the rest of town.

In conclusion, spend some time indoors looking at the district master plan, the state reports on development and then take a walk outdoors to walk the target area to observe how the town and place is developing. Spend some time networking with real estate agents who will know the latest scoop on how the town is progressing and where new developments are and then combine all this knowledge into a step by step masterplan for your real estate acquisitions. Empower yourself today and take massive action to reach your real estate investment goals. <bio>Joel Teo runs a real estate investment website at http://www.realestateinvestment101.info/..
