AOL is one of the oldest and most recognized internet service providers and while many people have stopped using their connection portals, millions of people still use the AOL mail services. Even better, AOL now offers free, web based e-mail services. Many people prefer web based e-mails because they can take them along whenever they change their internet providers. The AOL web mail offers plenty of services along with web mail so it makes sense that it is one of the leading web mail providers.

Of course, because web mail is so popular and because there are people who like to change e-mail addresses often and create addresses specifically for newsletter subscriptions, junk mail, etc, there are a lot of AOL e-mail accounts that get hijacked by spammers and people who like to send "anonymous" e-mails to others. The good news is this: if you have been getting unwanted e-mail from an AOL web mail address, it is possible to do a reverse e-mail search and find out who has been sending you the unwanted e-mail and make them stop.

Your first line of defense when it comes to unwanted e-mail is the reverse e-mail search provided by the web mail provider. If the e-mail is coming from an AOL web mail address, use the reverse e-mail search option provided by America Online itself. Using the web mail provider's reverse e-mail search tool should always be your first stop because it will be the easiest method in finding out who has been sending you the unwanted e-mail and/or spam. This is because it is easier for AOL to check its own records than it is for an outside source to try to check those records for you.

Of course, if the reverse e-mail search provided by AOL isn't successful, there are other options that are available to you. There are many different reverse e-mail search services available on the internet and you should try as many as you can to get the results that you need. If none of the internet based reverse e-mail searches work out, and the unwanted e-mail has become a real problem, you might want to consider hiring a professional search service to find out who, exactly has been sending you the e-mail. In some cases a professional search service is the best way to go because there are many people, spammers especially, will take many steps to make sure that their identities and contact information remain hidden.

Remember that you need to be taking steps to protect your own AOL e-mail account as well. Make sure that your password isn't obvious and that it is hard to crack. Change it often so that you can reduce the risk of having your AOL web mail account being hijacked by spammers or people who would send unwanted e-mail to other people.

Your tenacity will also play a big role in whether or not you see success with your reverse e-mail search. The more thorough your search, the more likely you will be to discover the identity of the e-mail address owner.<bio>Ed Opperman invites you to visit his cyber investigation website for all of your email search needs.
GMX web based e-mail is considered by many to be one of the best free web based e-mail services on the World Wide Web. It hasn't gotten as much press as the "big three" (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail) but it still boasts plenty of users and was given a four star rating by About.com. GMX offers five gigabytes of online storage and compatibility with a desktop e-mail program like Microsoft Outlook or Mozilla Thunderbird.

Everyone knows the benefits of using a web based e-mail service. Most of these services are free of charge (or very inexpensive) and are far more convenient than the e-mail addresses that will be supplied to you by your internet provider. This is because, in this day and age, people appreciate the ability to check their e-mail from any internet service and on any computer. Web based e-mail offers people that option.

Of course web based e-mail isn't without its faults. Because people create more e-mail addresses than they actually use, there are a lot of "dead" e-mail boxes out there that get taken over by spammers and hijackers. Others will create an e-mail account with GMX or one of the other web mail services with the intent of sending "anonymous" e-mail to someone else.

If you have been receiving unwanted e-mail from a GMX e-mail address there are several steps you can take:

1. Find out if GMX provides a reverse e-mail search service and then use it to find out who has opened the GMX account from which your unwanted e-mail has been sent. This should always be your first step because GMX will have an easier time searching its own records than an outside search engine will have in getting access to the records' information.

2. Do a search with any of the major search engines to find web-based reverse e-mail searches. There are a large number of companies out there that offer this service. It might take a few (or many) tries to get the information you want but if you keep trying you will increase the odds of finding out who has been sending you the unwanted e-mail that has been polluting your inbox. Don't give up--the longer you search, the better your chances become of finding out what you want to know.

3. If the unwanted e-mail has been especially malicious, you might want to consider hiring a professional to contact GMX and find out who is on the other end of the e-mail address that has been harassing you. A professional will know how to get GMX to turn over the information that you need. You should also consider contacting GMX's support team yourself to report the malicious e-mail. GMX might be able to suspend the account or help you take legal action against the e-mail sender.

When it comes to doing reverse e-mail searches, whether you need to find the owner of a GMX e-mail account or a different web based e-mail address the key is to keep at it. Don't give up; you'll find what you are looking for!<bio>Ed Opperman invites you to visit his cyber investigation website for all of your email search needs.
Direct mail, or marketing by snail mail, is an oft forgotten marketing method -- after all, email is quicker, easier, and much less expensive. There are many businesses that now use email exclusively, and do not use snail mail for marketing purposes.

But I believe that these businesses are missing out on a piece of their pie. Actually, they are leaving a piece of their pie for other marketers (ones who use direct mail) to pick up.

DMIS, or the Direct Mail Information Service, reports some important statistics, showing that direct mail is indeed a vital marketing method, even in this digital age. For example, DMIS reports that 67% of direct mail is opened by the recipient, and 45% is both opened and read. Also, 32% of consumers surveyed reported that they had responded to a direct mailing in the past twelve months.

Direct mail is still an effective marketing piece that every business should use, even internet based businesses. Direct mailing has several advantages over email, such as increased delivery rates, higher readership percentages, and the fact that a physical direct mail piece will make a bigger impact than an email.

If you run an internet business, you may not want to use direct mail as an initial marketing piece. Initial contact is probably the strongest point of internet marketing. But follow-up is one of the strong points of direct mail. Use direct mail to follow up with your customers, to let them know about promotions, or to follow up with prospects who have not made a purchase yet.

For all businesses, direct mail allows you to contact precise markets with geographical and demographical targeting. For example, if you sold commercial bakery equipment, you could send your promotional mailing to a list of bakeries.

Direct mail is still an extremely viable marketing method that you don't want to miss out on. <bio>For more Direct Mailing Information, visit http://direct-global-mailing.com/home.html </bio>

Direct mail is often neglected by many businesses, in favor of email. But direct mail is still a powerful marketing method -- one that you can use with great results in your business.

Contrary to what some businesses owners believe, direct mail still gets opened and read. According to the Direct Mail Information Service, 67% of direct mail is opened, and 45% is both opened and read. Email cannot begin to match those rates.

The Direct Mail Information Service also offers some other important statistics. Their research shows that the ROI (return on investment) of direct mail is excellent -- to generate $14 in sales, one must only spend $1 on direct mail.

Other statistics show that direct mail is even more effective for businesses. Managers open 70% of direct mail they receive. The pass 9% of it on to a subordinate or coworker, but respond to or file an amazing 20%!

There are two basic ways to use direct mail -- build your own list, or use someone else's list. Building your own list will likely get you the highest quality lists, but is also more expensive and takes longer. Renting a list is often the best way to start.

If you decide to build your own direct mailing list, you should come up with a well planned strategy for acquiring contacts for your list, as well as managing your list. Here area few ideas for building your mailing list: add all of your customers, offer a free newsletter, offer drawings for free products, do reverse phone number searches on prospects to find their address.

If you plan to rent a list, you can often rent a list from a company that specializes in direct mail marketing. They may be able to help you with your direct mailing campaign so that you maximum efficacy from your investment.

Either method you use, direct mail is a powerful way to grow your business. <bio>Visit Direct Global Mailing Ltd, your mailing company, for more direct mailing resources: http://direct-global-mailing.com </bio>

There are more than two hundred million web mail users that name Hotmail as their web mail server of choice. To be sure, Hotmail is one of the top three cost-free web-based e-mail providers on the World Wide Web. This free, web based e-mail is offered to users by Microsoft and it allows users up to two hundred and fifty megabytes of space to store e-mails and files.

There are a lot of people who love Hotmail because it makes for an easy place to store their junk mail and this makes it easy for spam artists or other people to hack into the hotmail account and then send e-mail to others with it. Have you recently been on the receiving end of unwanted e-mail from a hotmail e-mail address? If so, have you thought about doing a reverse e-mail search?

A reverse e-mail search is easiest when you use the service that provides the e-mail address that sends you the unwanted e-mail. Luckily the Hotmail reverse e-mail search is free for internet users and it is very easy to use. The easiest way to locate a Hotmail reverse e-mail search, all that you need to do is type in the phrase "hotmail reverse e-mail search" into any of the major search engines. The site that does the searches will be listed in your search engine results.

Keep the e-mail address that has been sending you the unwanted e-mails near by because you will need this to complete the search. This might seem obvious, but you would be surprised to find out just how many people forget to write down the e-mail address that they want to look up! It is important also, to remember that you might not always be able to find the information you have been seeking. While it is possible that a real person has been sending you that unwanted e-mail, it is also equally possible that the e-mail address has been hijacked by a spam bot and you might not ever know who has been flooding your inbox.

The Hotmail reverse e-mail search is a trustworthy method of searching for the information associated with any hotmail e-mail address. If it is possible to find out the information you want to know, the Hotmail reverse e-mail search should be able to turn it up. Of course, you might need to try several different reverse e-mail searches before you get the results you have been looking for.

Keep in mind that not everyone wants to be found. People who do not wish to be found will often take extra steps to protect their true identities and contact information. If you cannot find the information you are looking for via a reverse e-mail search on your own, you might want to hire a professional to do the searching for you.
The "mail order bride" phenomenon is several decades old, but with Internet communications revolution it has become increasingly popular, although not yet exactly commonplace. These days a far lesser-known phenomenon has appeared=96 mail order grooms.

Until very recently, mail order grooms were almost non-existent, which by contrast pretty much kills the idea that mail order brides are interested only in green cards. After all, if that's what the women wanted, then why aren't there just as many Chinese and Ukranian mail order grooms seeking in a new life a Western country?

The mail order husband groom industry is still in its developmental stage. Stage One was an increase in the number of foreign women living in the US looking for mail order grooms from the Old Country. Stage Two was unhappy American women, sick of us American men, looking for mail order grooms - but they found little help on the Internet until just the last few years. But now here comes Stage Three =96 an increase in men from poor countries, especially India, marketing themselves as mail order grooms

It is still far too early to determine exactly what types of men choose to market themselves as mail order grooms. Their profiles naturally tend to stress family values and hard work, and some claim not to be at all concerned about beauty. But just as is the case with mail order brides, it's difficult to imagine the prospect of a green card not figuring in somewhere in the considerations a prospective mail order husband.

It will be interesting to see how the unique dynamics of such relationships work out. First, will a situation where the woman makes more money than the man (in most cases) weaken or strengthen the marriage (or have no effect whatsoever)? Second, will men from male-dominated cultures have trouble getting along with relatively independent-minded American women? <bio>"Mail Order Brides" at http://mailorderbridesdude.blogspot.com offers readers comprehensive information about Russian, Asian, and Latin American mail order brides.
Use of e-mails is on a rise in the business world. The use has increased manifold in the recent years. E-mails have become a very convenient source of communication for people. People in general and businesses in particular use e-mails for the purpose of communication. But with all the advantages attached to the e-mails there are certain disadvantages as well.

People suffer due to those advantages. Just like the other miracles of science the e-mails can be a blessing if the technology is used in a positive sense. Spam e-mails and e-mail exploits make it a problem which needs your attention to be solved. If e-mail exploits are not taken care of, they are capable enough of damaging your system.

E-mail exploits are a problem which has come to the surface in the recent past. E-mail exploits have become a major problem in the recent past. People when go through their e-mails they may open some spam e-mail which has this virus embedded in its body. The computer systems can be damaged by these viruses even before one realizes his or her mistake.

E-mail exploits are embedded in the spam e-mails. These e-mail exploits can destroy the whole system of the mail recipient by entering it through the e-mail. Actually the e-mail exploits start working when the recipient opens the e-mail. If the e-mail is not read and is deleted directly the system will remain safe from the e-mail exploits. The e-mail exploits may be in the form of a program which is embedded in the subject or the body of the e-mail. Opening this e-mail can damage your system. Being embedded in the e-mail, the e-mail exploit easily crosses the firewalls and enters the recipient's computer successfully. That is the reason people generally do not read the spam e-mails and delete them as such. But still, the e-mail exploits have a greater rate of being successful as there are certain spam e-mails which you may click open just to find out what it actually is about. Once you open an e-mail which has e-mail exploit virus embedded in it, you may lose the game altogether. Your computer network may be bombarded by the viruses even before you come to know that you have committed a major mistake.

Necessity is said to be the mother of invention. Whenever there is a need the human race starts off to find a solution to it. Same is the situation with this problem of spam e-mails and e-mail exploits.

The e-mail exploit engines are there in the market. They can be used to protect your system against such problem. The e-mail exploit engines keep you safe against the viruses which are capable enough to destroy your systems. Almost all the companies which are working in the field of providing IT solutions to people in general and to companies have such programs which can help fight the viruses. E-mail exploit engines are the ready made solutions which can protect you against the harmful effects of e-mail exploits to your computer system. <bio>Jake Foster writes security related articles for http://www.sxsecurity.com .
Many large retailers such as Macy's or Wal-Mart are using direct mail techniques in order to reach out to their customers. These large companies often mail out sales flyers that highlight what will be on sale in their retail stores that week. Retailers that have special sales often send them out as well.

You may not thing that you can implement direct mail techniques in your own small business, but this can be very effective in your community or trying to reach your target market. It can be used effectively for little money, although it's not as flashy as advertising on TV, often the cost for acquiring new leads is much less.

You may or may not have noticed, but direct mail techniques have been used for many years. A lot of people ca still get their mail daily, even though they have become accustomed to using email for personal and some business communication. In the past, this method has been used more by larger companies. More profitable companies implement direct mail techniques into their overall marketing strategy and are very successful.

People often ignore both the radio and TV, and they can do so rather easily by blocking out the ads or changing the station or channel. Implementing direct mail techniques is much less invasive and when offers are received they can just place them aside and look at it later.

You should remember that implementing direct mail techniques gives you more say than TV or radio spots if you are selling a product or service. You can print just about anything you want, and you don't have to cram your information on some tiny 30 second spot ad. You can be sure that your potential customers and clients get all the information they need to make and informed decision.

If you implement direct mail techniques the right way, it can be very effective. People will receive ads and flyers in the mail as long as they still have postal service. You have to determine what strategy of delivery is best for you. Should you use a bulk rate, or a live stamp? That all depends on your target market. Certain direct mail techniques can be applied to one campaign, however not all of them. There's no "one size fits all" so to speak with direct mail techniques.

You can get all the information you need as to how to effectively run a campaign by going to your local post office and talking to them about specific direct mail techniques relating to postage and laws. They will be able to discuss bulk rates. They could also advise you on which day is the best so mail out your materials and other rules that you may need to know. <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
AIM web based e-mail is considered by many to be one of the best free web based e-mail services on the World Wide Web. It hasn't gotten as much press as the "big three" (Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail) but it still boasts plenty of users and was given a high rating by About.com. AIM unlimited online mail storage plus POP and IMAP access.

Everyone knows the benefits of using a web based e-mail service. Most of these services are free of charge, anonymous and are far more convenient than the e-mail addresses that will be supplied to you by your Internet provider. This is because, in this day and age, people appreciate the ability to check their e-mail from any Internet service and on any computer. Web based e-mail offers people that option. But these are also options that a cyber stalker would find attractive when trying to conceal his true identity from his victims.
These online stalkers will create an e-mail account with AIM or one of the other web mail services with the intent of sending harassing "anonymous" e-mail or Instant Massages (IMs) to someone else.

If you have been receiving unwanted e-mail or IMs from an AIM e-mail address there are several steps you can take:

1. Find out if AIM provides a reverse e-mail search service and then use it to find out who has opened the AIM account from which your unwanted e-mail has been sent. This should always be your first step because AIM will have an easier time searching its own records than an outside search engine will have in getting access to the records' information.

2. Do a search with any of the major search engines to find web-based reverse e-mail searches. There are a large number of companies out there that offer this service. It might take a few (or many) tries to get the information you want but if you keep trying you will increase the odds of finding out who has been sending you the unwanted e-mail that has been polluting your in box. Don't give up--the longer you search, the better your chances become of finding out what you want to know.

3. If the unwanted e-mail has been especially malicious, you might want to consider hiring a professional to find out who is on the other end of the e-mail address that has been harassing you. A professional will know how to get the information that you need. You should also consider contacting AIM's support team yourself to report the malicious e-mail. AIM might be able to suspend the account or help you take legal action against the e-mail sender. But keep in mind that if AIM closes the account it will make it much harder for an investigator to trace the AIM email and identify the sender.

When it comes to doing reverse e-mail searches, whether you need to find the owner of a AIM e-mail account or a different web based e-mail address the key is to keep at it. Don't give up; you'll find what you are looking for! If you think it's too complicated you can always retain a professional that specializes in email tracing.<bio>Ed Opperman invites you to visit his cyber investigation website for all of your email search needs.
Direct mail success, it's easier than you think...

When you send out mail to clients or potential clients, you can make your mail piece stand out from the junk mail that they receive. Here are a few ways to get their attention and achieve direct mail success.

You can start by hand addressing the envelope. Or find a "hand writing" style font to print on to the envelope. The typical preprinted labels basically scream that it's a mass mailing. Addressing the envelopes by hand will really portray that personal touch and is one of the first keys to direct mail success in my experience.

Next, you can use a bright post card or envelope, something that will catch their attention and make them see who it's from.

Use a live stamp as opposed to a meter. Who uses meters? Junk mail and credit card companies. You can even use older stamps. Just go and see if any stamp show has any unused postage stamps. You can often buy them for face value. This is another essential tip for direct mail success.

You could also include "teaser copy" on the outside of the envelope. Get them to open it up and read it by making a statement or some kind of exciting offer. Then show them how you are going to deliver upon it inside.

You could send out a postcard as opposed to an envelope. With all the ad copy in front of them, they have no choice but to read it.

Keep your look consistent when you repeat the mailing or offers. Your target audience should start to recognize your catalogs, newsletters or post cards right away.

These tips are very easy to follow and can almost assure you direct mail success. Some thing that any communications outside of the internet is dead, but that's not true. Make each of your mailings interesting and attractive and you will see how successful you can be with your campaigns. <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
Small businesses are very tightly squeezed for cash flow, but we know that we need to get our messages out there if we want to grow and find new customers. As each of our businesses grow, we know that most of our customers and clients will come as a results of word of mouth advertising. However, we also know that we need to implement a direct mail strategy to help us expand our reach.

Word of mouth advertising is a great way to grow our businesses, mainly because a happy customer will spread the word about your great product or service. They will likely tell a friend. That's why we must keep on advertising. But how do you do it effectively when you have a limited budget and you have to worry about cash flow, payroll, inventory, rent, etc.?

I want to show you that you need to implement a direct mail strategy and I will share with you what I have learned in the process of developing one for my own companies.

We started out as a small company. We were operating in a few cities only and grew the company to the point where we were operating in 394 cities, 81 markets, 19 states and 3 countries. All this took quite a long time to achieve, so in no way was it a overnight success. Sometimes we had some of our locations that were short on capital and we had to help them find ways to advertise to get the most for their advertising dollar. The most effective method we found very helpful in reaching our goals was direct mail, we implemented a direct mail strategy.

I would like for you to start thinking how you can develop a direct mail strategy for your business. You should think of the options you have to gain publicity, advertising, marketing, PR, and how your direct mail strategy can come together with all of that. You need to keep an open mind and consider all the options when using a direct mail strategy.

My point in writing this is not to get you to spend all your money following a direct mail strategy; rather it's to get you to consider how it could benefit your company, business or non-profit organization. <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
When Gmail first jumped onto the web based e-mail scene a few years ago, its service was available only to those who had been invited to use the service. Now it is free to anyone who wishes to use it and it has become one of the most popular free web based e-mail services on the internet. This is due largely to its large storage space and extra features like POP3 access and chat. Of course, Gmail is also very susceptible to spammers and, like other web based e-mail services, is popular among those who use e-mail to send unmerited messages to others.

If you have been receiving unwanted e-mail from a Gmail address, there are steps that you can take to find out who has been sending you the e-mail and get them to stop.

Your first step should be to use the reverse e-mail search offered by Gmail itself. This is because it is easier for Gmail to search its own e-mail records than it is to get them to reveal information to an outside source. If you are a Gmail account holder yourself you might also have more leverage than you would as an "outside" e-mail account holder. Try using Gmail's reverse e-mail lookup system to see what kind of information you can uncover about the identity associated with the e-mail address that has been sending you unwanted e-mail.

If you don't have much (or any) luck with the Gmail reverse e-mail search system, there are a lot of independent reverse e-mail search systems on the World Wide Web. A simple search with any of the major search engines will turn up plenty of different search systems in which you can look up the identity that has been assigned to the e-mail address that keeps turning up in your e-mail inbox. The key in this search is to be tenacious. Do not give up if you don't find out who has been sending you unwanted e-mail with your first reverse e-mail search. One search service might have an easier time of accessing Gmail's records than others.

If the e-mails feel particularly malicious or if they are coming in extremely large quantities, you might consider hiring a professional to run a reverse e-mail search for you. Professionals usually have the legal system on their side and they will be able to contact Gmail directly to and get their help in identifying who has been e-mail stalking you. You might also contact Gmail's support team directly and let them know that you have been getting unwanted e-mails from a Gmail address and they might take care of everything for you.

Make sure that you are also taking steps to keep your own Gmail account from being hacked or hijacked and used for spam. Choose a difficult password that involves letters and numbers and change it often. When your password is easy or if it stays the same for a long time, you increase your risk of spammers getting in and using your account without your knowledge. This way nobody will need to do a reverse e-mail search to find out who you are!<bio>Ed Opperman invites you to visit his cyber investigation website for all of your email search needs.
Thanks to all of the different web based e-mail services, having to have your own domain name or rely on the e-mail addresses provided by your internet service is a thing of the past. Now, with no cost to you, you can have as many e-mail addresses as you like. Some families choose to have web based e-mail services for each member of their family. Web based e-mail saves space on your home computer and has far less risk of file loss than an internet-based service. Is it any wonder, then, that hundreds of millions of people have signed up for web based e-mail?

Yahoo mail is one of the most popular web based e-mail services. It is offered via the popular Yahoo search engine and offers users plenty of space and other fun options like live chat and access to Yahoo groups and forums. Of course, web mail is not without its risks. If an account is left dormant for a long period of time it runs the risk of being hacked by spammers. If a person's password is easy to figure out it also runs the risk of being used to send malicious or unsolicited e-mail to other internet users.

If you have recently been receiving unwanted e-mails from a Yahoo mail account, it is possible to find out who is sending them. The best way to do this is through a reverse e-mail search. There are plenty of reverse e-mail services available, but your first stop should be the Yahoo e-mail reverse e-mail search. You'll be more likely to find out current information if you use the Yahoo servers to check their user records.

This might sound obvious, but you will want to write down all of the yahoo e-mail addresses that have been sending you the unwanted e-mails. The number of people who try to do reverse e-mail searches without remembering the e-mail address they want to search for is staggering. It is also important to remember that you might have to try a few different reverse e-mail searches before you find the one that turns up the information you have been searching for. While you will want to start with Yahoo's reverse e-mail lookup, it is important to keep your options open--options that involve using other web based reverse e-mail search services or, if none of those work, hiring a professional to do the searching for you.

Keep in mind that there are some people who do not want to be found and they will take many steps to protect their identities and contact information. If you run into something like this, your best bet is to report the unwanted e-mails to your Yahoo server and let them figure out what action to take. You should also be taking steps to protect your own account to keep someone else from using it to send out unwanted e-mails that look like they are coming from you!

You should always start with the Yahoo reverse e-mail search, but keep an open mind and don't be afraid to be tenacious in your search. You should be able to find what you are looking for!<bio>Ed Opperman invites you to visit his cyber investigation website for all of your email search needs.
Your direct mail strategy... are you stuck trying to decide what strategies you are looking to implement? Which direct response strategy pulls the best response? Is it a postcard? Self mailer? A Letter? The answer to that is not a simple one. It depends.

The success of your direct response strategy really depends on who you are mailing to, what your promise to them is, and when your mail is going out and what it is you mail. Here are a few things you need to be asking yourself to decide which direct response strategy is the one that you are going to want to go with for your next mailing...

A letter? Is your offer going to reach your prospect from a person, by name? Does it need to be addressed to certain person by name? Is confidentiality or privacy of concern? Then it should be mailed in an envelope. The sales letter would be your best bet here.

How about a postcard? If your message is simple and short, then perhaps this may be your best direct mail strategy.

Should you use a self mailer? Are you looking to keep your mailing costs down? Try a self mailer. This will help illustrate your sales message.

You could also use a classic direct mail package, especially if you have things that won't fit in a letter from technical specifications. Is your sales message longer than 600 words? Do your prospects need to mail you back a check or an order form? Then this will be your best direct mail strategy.

Another direct response strategy for you to consider is a dimensional mailer. Do you need to reach Fortune 500 companies or C-level executives whose secretary screens their mail? Then the dimensional mailer is the way for you to go. This direct mail response has the potential for a high response rate.

You should mail out a catalog if you have a lot of items to sell, or if you want to show color or the shape and quality of a product.

How about if you have a message that needs to reach everyone in a specific geographic area/ Then an unaddressed flyer would be what you need.

If you have a short sales message for your existing customers, email (with their permission) would be your best bet.

Perhaps you have a short announcement for your existing customers... or you need to remind them about something coming up... then you'll want to include a buckslip in your next mailing...

By implementing just some of these direct response strategies, you'll be way ahead of the game! <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
Spam is an unnecessary evil that bugs anyone with a computer. Yet there are many ways available today by which you can avoid being "bugged" by spam, which has the potential to completely destroy your data and your computer. The oft-used methods are filters, blockers and other programs which almost all e mail service provider can offer. You may now go for another very innovative way to avoid spam. It is called "disposable e mails".

The basic methodology by which these disposable e mail addresses work, is that after it receives a certain amount of spam messages, it automatically destructs itself. It might set you wondering whether this means that you have to keep on changing your e mail addresses all the time. This is where the disposable e mail address add value. After you opt for a disposable e mail address, you are given one with a specific user name. your address depends on the user name.

You will then give your e mail service provider some keywords, which enables the provider to send you mails only from those sources you approve of. These keywords are based on their names or whatever you choose. So when you give your e mail address to someone from whom you like to receive mails, it will contain those keywords in the address, so as to allow them to enter your inbox. All other mails reach your other e mail address which goes through constant change for you to view them. If you ignore them for some time, they get automatically deleted.

This unique e mail , though keeps on changing, you can access it through your user name and password. By using this tool, you can always ignore the spams and not worry about them again. Of all the methods available, which wages a war against spam, this happens to be my favorite. This service of course dos not come free but it costs the same amount of money s you would be spending for your paid e mail services from the ISP. Since it saves you the worry of constantly worrying whether your computer is gong to crash because of spam, and you don't have to spend endless hours sifting through the junk mail, I feel this is a cost worth incurring. <bio>Jeff Clark is a staff writer at http://www.technology-digest.com and is an occasional contributor to several other websites, including http://www.gamesenthusiast.com. </bio>

I'm sure the answer you have to this question is probably yes. You feel like your home mail box has been invaded on a daily basis with lots of unwanted mail you just can't seem to stop! It just keeps piling up in your mail box.

You say to yourself, I've been able to stop lots of the junk mail coming to my email address because of the anti-spam policy on the internet, but, that does not affect the mail coming to my home. It's almost like the junk mail you were getting on the internet is now coming to your home mailbox. And lets not forget that if you've placed your telephone number on the do not call list, that this may have upset some of the companies that are trying to market to you. So, it appears that the new tactic of the current day is to pile it on in your home mailbox.

Do you find yourself going through tons of mail on a weekly basis and using your shredder like your life depended on it? What about when you're looking to find your important mail and you're having to carefully sift through the junk mail so you don't accidentally trash that check you've been waiting for! Doesn't that irritate you that your mailbox is being invaded with advertising mailers that you haven't asked for? You even try to call your post office to find out what you can do. You find out there's really nothing you can do but accept all of the junk mail that piles up in your mailbox until you sort through it!

And by the way, if you plan on going on vacation or out of town for more than a week, you better make sure you either contact the post office to hold your mail or have a humongous mailbox to hold all of the mail you'll be receiving while you're gone. You probably already know that the majority of the mail you'll have when you come back from vacation, is mail from advertisers that you probably don't want.

What can I do to reduce or eliminate the amount of junk mail I am receiving in my home mailbox? Well, there are a few things you can do to reduce the amount of junk mail you receive at home. Just keep in mind that you'll probably receive some junk mail, but, not as much as you have been. You may want to consider doing the following:

1) Send a letter to the following company to request that your name and address listed on all mailing lists and databases be removed: Direct Marketing, P.O. Box 643, Carmel, NY. 10512-0643. This should stop some of the advertising mailers you receive for at least five years. After that, you'll probably want to send them another letter requesting the same as you have before.

2) Consider sending letters to the advertisers directly which are sending you the mailings and request to have your name and address removed from their mailing lists. The members of your household may want to do this as well if they are receiving unwanted mail.

This information should assist you with reducing the amount of unwanted mail you receive in your mailbox. Hopefully, you'll eventually be able to go to your mailbox and actually get to the real mail that you've been waiting for, without having to sift through tons of mail that you don't want. You'll be happier when you can do this.
E-mail Marketing and Real Simple Syndication Team Up

E-mail Marketing has flourished and benefited many businesses. Its main benefit is the relationship it builds and keeps with clients. Email Marketing now has a partner that increases its bond, Real Simple Syndication otherwise known as RSS. Discussed below are advantages of both E-mail Marketing and RSS.

E-mail Marketing

Simply put E-mail Marketing is a digital way for businesses to communicate with clients and employees. This form of marketing educates those subscribed about: new company information, special offers, upcoming events, and any other beneficial information.

For example a restaurant could include daily, weekly or monthly coupons or discount tickets that have value. No one will want to use a coupon for a 'free pop' or '$1.00 off,' but they would want to use 'free meal at next visit,' or '$2.00 off any specialty item.'

E-mail marketing can introduce new employees, advertise a weekend or holiday event, and even send birthday vouchers. If a business is expanding, moving or changing its design E-mail Marketing can easily express its new endeavors inexpensively.

As you can see E-mail Marketing can be utilized for many different marketing needs. Most importantly it allows for businesses to keep in touch and build a relationship with its readers. Consumers like to be appreciated for the money they spend on ones products and services. E-mail marketing does this successfully while offering rewards.

Remember...E-mail Marketing is not SPAM, it is wanted information by those subscribed, so fill them with quality useful information.

Real Simple Syndication (RSS)

RSS benefits are similar to E-mail Marketing, but instead of sending every subscriber the same e-mail your subscribers are able to pick and choose the themed feeds they desire, allowing customers to have total control of the content they receive. Like e-mail marketing subscribers will receive this information through e-mail. Some of the feeds include: blogs, articles, forums, schedules, discounts/specials, and company news.

RSS is in XML format, which is simpler than HTML. XML is supported by a wide variety of applications thus making it easy for anyone to create and share their data.

This direct marketing tool builds and keeps customers just like e-mail marketing. E-mail Marketing and Real Simple Syndication are great ways to stay in touch with customers. They are both uniquely different and target different types of needs and wants. <bio>Let Kinetica Media guide you through the process and open your new world of communication.
Studies have shown that the average person receives about 40 e-mails a day. I know mine are at least twice that amount.

When you are running your home-based business time management is important. Often you are the CEO and clerk. You do it all.

One of the most important tools and time waster in your business is e-mail. We all need it we all use it. The trick is to keep e-mail from over running your time.

What to do?

I have set up different e-mail accounts for different needs. I have one that is only for non-business related items. This e-mail address is the one that I give friends and family members to use. I know what they send me is not going to be time sensitive. I f something important happens or needs immediate attention they will call on the phone.

I also have an e-mail account for work related items. This one I use for an overall catchall for my business. I will also set up special e-mail account for specific projects that I'm working on. That way I know what they are responding to and for. What reason. I have an account that I use when I respond to special offers or e-newsletters. This way I keep e-mail separated and more manageable.

Use "Preferences" to manage each account.

Now put technology to work for you. Go into the "preferences" or "set-up" for each account. And apply the "junk-mail" settings and other filters that will help cut down on unnecessary e-mail. Check out all the tools, many can make managing your account easer. One more trick is to turn off any audio notification that you have new mail. It is just a distraction that will make you want to check it now.

Time management for e-mail.

One way I make the best of my time is to devote specific times and amounts of time to read and respond to e-mails.

I divide the workday into three times to address my e-mail. I will check it first in the morning when I start my day.

Then midday and then at the end of my workday, I will look at it again.

I devote fifteen minutes to a half hour to each time. I stay on schedule; if I don't it will just through off my other tasks that need to be done.

My 3 "Ds" To decision making.

Delete it: You know within three seconds if you need to respond to e-mail. Don't linger over it Delete It.

Do it now: If you need to respond to it, do it right away. Don't wait that just puts the work off and you may not get back to it until it's too late.

Defer it: If the task takes to long to address it right away defer it. A good way is to use a folder within your e-mail account. You must remember to schedule time to address that folder.

Managing your work time is an important tool in living your Hundred-Fold-Life. <bio>Douglas Miller is a retired Fire Service Captain now making a living working at home.
There are many people out there who claim that they know what spam is. However, you must know that it is difficult to identify who is right or wrong because, you see, spam can be defined in different ways. But to avoid any complications, spam is any kind of junk mail or commercial advertising electronic mail that you get, which of course, you never imagined you would be asking for. Any sort of method for blocking spam is a gift form God.

Spam Assassin, which is introduced by TCH, is a tool that blocks spam mail from a specific server. If you choose its default mode, it will be disabled when a particular website is setup by TCH. If you choose to install this spam mail blocker, your worries about receiving spam mail are surely reduced, if not eradicated.

If you want to block spam mail more specifically, you can just block certain mail depending on what words are stated on their subject line. It is such a simple task. You have to click on Email Filtering first, and then click Add Filter. After you have done so, the first drop down box will come out, and inside this drop down box, you click Subject.

A second drop down box will show, whereing you must click Contains. And yes, just like you have predicted, there is also a third drop down box. In the last drop down box, you should type Stop Pay, or whatever word or phrase it is or are that you want to block. When these words are in a certain mail, they will not be able to enter your inbox. This method is usually used to avoid receiving any obscene mails that are just completely adored by perverts.

However, this method must be paid attention to because it is really case sensitive. So if you type prostitute, it may not have the power to block the word prOsTiTutE. After you have finished these tasks, click Discard. After clicking Discard, click Activate. That is, however, not the last "Click" you must perform, you still have to click Go Back. It is a simple procedure. But admit it, it can get pretty lengthy.

If you want a quicker solution, you can just automatically discard the spam mail that has been posing to be quite a threat to your inbox space. Instead of saving your inbox space for those wanted messages, you end up having to delete advertisements for specific products that you did not even know existed.

Blocking spam mail is definitely the solution if you want a cessation of all those unwanted mails. There are various ways to be able to block spam mail manually. But if you want to live life the easier way, you can just download and install certain software that are experts in blocking spam email. <bio>Low Jeremy maintains http://Spam-Blocking.ArticlesForReprint.com.
