<content:encoded><![CDATA[Full of mystique and beauty, the Lady and the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unicorn+series" rel="tag">Unicorn series</a> are among the best examples of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/medieval+tapestry" rel="tag">medieval tapestry</a> in existence. Many interpretations have been put forward through the ages, but there is no definite explanation as to the mystery behind the Lady and the Unicorn.<br><br>Dramatic Medieval Art<br><br>Each tapestry in this <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/striking+series" rel="tag">striking series</a> shows a unicorn interacting with a woman in some way with the unicorn representing the six <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/human+senses" rel="tag">human senses</a> in some way. These are sight, smell, touch, sound, taste and love.<br><br>Throughout history unicorns have been a mysterious force and have been considered a representation of Christ. Many people believe in unicorns, although their existence has never been proven. Unicorns are said to possess magical powers, and the Chinese believed the rare sighting of this creature signalled good fortune ahead. The horn is considered particularly magical with an ability to recognise and neutralise poisons with an antidote. During the medieval era the unicorn was linked to Christianity. According to legend it could only be tamed by the scent of a virgin.<br><br>The Lady: elegance and tranquillity<br><br>Unicorns were only attracted to purity and being connected with Christ and his <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/spiritual+integrity" rel="tag">spiritual integrity</a> meant that only a woman with virginal attributes could be linked with the creature. The tapestries have been interpreted in <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/several+different+ways" rel="tag">several different ways</a>. One belief is that they are a representation of the Virgin Mary with Christ. Another suggests the representation of a woman embracing the spiritual world by renouncing the physical one. These tapestries in their own classical and elegant way have widespread appeal, perhaps because of their pure and spiritual nature. People need to feel that which is good and these tapestries give the impression that good will prevail over evil.<br><br>The origins of the Lady and the Unicorn tapestries<br><br>Originally the tapestries were made for a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/french+nobleman" rel="tag">French nobleman</a>, Jean Le Viste during the 15th century. The family coat of arms is visible in the tapestry serves. What is less clear is who designed the work, which family member they were intended for and how they came into existence.<br><br>Based on the style of the clothing in the tapestries it is thought the tapestries come from the late fifteenth century, and possibly designed for Jean le Viste himself in celebration of his promotion to the French Court in 1489.<br><br>When Le Viste died the tapestries were probably passed on through family connections, although the exact whereabouts was unknown for 200 years. In 1841 they were discovered by a member of the French government who recommended the purchase of this magnificent work of art. Following restorative work and a purchase for the nation the government donated them to the Cluny Museum where they can be seen today.<br><br>The mystique of the tapestry<br><br>The origins of the tapestry remain a mystery to this day, with interpretation based on clues within the art itself. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Of all <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/medieval+tapestry" rel="tag">medieval tapestry</a> collections, perhaps none is more mysterious and thought-provoking than the Lady and the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unicorn+series" rel="tag">Unicorn series</a>. Very little is known about the origins of the original tapestry set, which is currently on display at Cluny Museum in Paris, France. Throughout the ages, many different interpretations have been extracted from these complex tapestries. Yet no one can seem to agree on the precise breadth and depth of their meaning. <br /><br /> Striking Medieval Art <br /><br /> Each one of these artistic wonders offers a striking portrayal of a unicorn interacting with a woman. In <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/medieval+times" rel="tag">medieval times</a>, a unicorn was often seen as a representation of Christ, with the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/horn" rel="tag">horn</a> being a symbol of the unity between Christ and God. In each of the six tapestries in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lady+and+the+unicorn" rel="tag">Lady and the Unicorn</a> series, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unicorns" rel="tag">unicorns</a> are used to aide in the representation of human senses. These are defined as sight, smell, touch, sound, taste and love. <br /><br /> Unicorns have been a mysterious and fascinating force throughout history. While the actual existence of these creatures has never been conclusively proven in modern times, many people still believe in these <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mythical+creatures" rel="tag">mythical creatures</a>. <br /><br /> In fact, the faithful have looked to other mammals, such as the giraffe and the ostrich, as proof that unicorns could have existed at one point in time. In essence, true believers are not at all hesitant to embrace the unicorn as something of divine significance that existed at some point in time. Some even believe unicorns may still exist in remote regions of the world. <br /><br /> The Myth of the Unicorn <br /><br /> The unicorn was said to have possessed magical powers. The horn, in particular, was widely regarded in ancient cultures as having the ability to recognize and extinguish poisons. The horn was often depicted as a perfect spiral. If a piece of the horn was placed in poisoned water, the water would bubble up. And if bits of the horn were sprinkled on food that was believed to be poisoned, the horn would act as an antidote to the poison. <br /><br /> The ancient Chinese believed that unicorns were a good omen that only made their presence known to humans in rare cases. It was thought that these appearances were a positive sign of the times, of good things to come. <br /><br /> In medieval times, the unicorn became a symbol of Christianity. The popular belief was that a unicorn could never be lured or tamed, except by the scent of a pure virgin. <br /><br /> The Lady: Putting the Pieces Together <br /><br /> The purity and spiritual invincibility of Christ meant that only the purity of a sweet virgin could attract a creature representing these attributes. The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries have frequently been interpreted as symbolic of a woman renouncing everything in the physical world (i.e. physical human senses) for the greater significance of the spiritual world. Some believe the tapestries allude to a woman's seduction of the unicorn. Some even believe these tapestries depict the Virgin Mary with Christ. <br /><br /> Perhaps this purity of spirit and the tranquility that the tapestries represent explains the widespread appeal of these classic art works. People have a strong desire to believe in that which is good and righteous in our world. We have a deep need to be reassured that there is a greater purpose to our existence: the notion that ultimately good and peace will prevail. When we embrace the visual aspects of these tapestries, perhaps we are embracing the symbolic concepts within each of our hearts. <br /><br /> Where Did the Lady and the Unicorn Tapestries Come From? <br /><br /> Symbolism aside, what also remains a bit of a mystery is exactly how these tapestries came into existence. What we do know is that the set was made for the family of Jean Le Viste, a wealthy aristocrat who was a member of the French nobility during the 15th century. The family's coat of arms can be seen throughout the tapestry series, although it is unclear for which family member the tapestries were made. <br /><br /> Based on the style of the clothing worn by the ladies in the tapestries and a number of other artistic indicators, many experts believe the tapestries were designed around the end of the 15th century. They may have possibly been designed for Jean Le Viste himself in recognition of his promotion to the French Court in 1489. However, we do not know specifically who designed the tapestries. <br /><br /> The tapestries were likely passed on through the family after Jean Le Viste's death, although their exact whereabouts were unknown for nearly 200 years. They reappeared in 1841 when they were discovered by a French government inspector of historical monuments. Noting the relatively poor condition of the tapestries at that time, the inspector recommended that the government purchase the works and attempt to restore them. Eventually, the French government purchased them in 1882 and donated them to the Cluny Museum. <br /><br /> The Mystery Continues... <br /><br /> Very few historical records exist that explain the origins of the Lady and the Unicorn tapestry series. At best, scholars have been only able to offer speculation based on the limited information and clues within the tapestries themselves. Perhaps it is this mystique that ultimately adds to the appeal of the pieces. Regardless, the original tapestries are open to viewings by the public in a specially-designed oval chamber within the Cluny Museum. They have undergone restorative processes several times since the 19th century and can now be seen as their original artists intended. <br /><br /> Copyright © The Tapestry House, all rights reserved. <bio>David Burr writes on a number of subjects for the Tapestry House including unicorn tapestries. <a href="http://www.thetapestryhouse.com/products/list/medieval-unicorn.html" >http://www.thetapestryhouse.com/products/list/medieval-unicorn.html</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Tapestry collections throughout the world have been celebrated by many. The vivid and dramatic colours and diverse interpretations have captivated audiences and have enabled artist's masterpieces to be transformed and reproduced through tapestry. Through the ages tapestries have been commissioned as a way of expressing art form. This may have been through dramatic religious belief, or in a representation of tradition and lifestyle using a more abstract symbolic approach. Museums now house many of the original tapestry collections which continue to exude a timeless appeal.<br><br>The Attraction of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/medieval+tapestries" rel="tag">Medieval Tapestries</a><br><br>Some of the most well known and enigmatic tapestries are those woven during the medieval era. These works of art have stood the test of time and continue to appeal through their intricate design and detail.<br><br>Unicorns were incorporated into the design of many medieval tapestries, symbolizing good over evil and religious experience. One of the most famous sixteenth century collections can be seen in New York City at the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cloisters+museum" rel="tag">Cloisters Museum</a>. La Chasse de la Licorne, originally woven in France, contains a multifaceted array of symbolism and is believed to represent healing, particularly the horn of the unicorn. One theory behind the meaning of the series is that they were originally commissioned to celebrate a marriage and the Licorne Captive is representative of a lady capturing her betrothed.<br><br>The Lady and the Unicorn series shows unicorns representing the human senses such as touch, smell, and hearing and can be seen in the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/cluny+museum" rel="tag">Cluny Museum</a>, Paris. Many of the tapestries incorporating unicorns into their designs were based on religious beliefs, and a way of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/expressing+emotions" rel="tag">expressing emotions</a>. Unicorns continue to appeal today to a wide audience.<br><br>A Medieval Raconteur- The <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/bayeux+tapestry" rel="tag">Bayeux Tapestry</a><br><br>One of the most famous and well known tapestries of all time is in fact an embroidery. The Bayeux Tapestry was woven to celebrate the victory at the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/battle+of+hastings" rel="tag">Battle of Hastings</a> by <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/william+the+conqueror" rel="tag">William the Conqueror</a> and is actually split into sections focusing on the story.<br><br>The precise origins of the tapestry remain a mystery and are thought to have been commissioned by Bishop Odo. Although there is a reference to the existence of the work in 1476 it has endured poor storage and was used to cover a cart during the French Revolution. Remarkably it has survived and has an enduring appeal.<br><br>Today this magnificent artefact is displayed in the Musee de la Tapisserie in the French town of Bayeux.<br><br>William Morris- Inspired Designs<br><br>William Morris tapestries signified the emergence of modern tapestry art, particularly those that could be adapted for middle class Victorian homes. Unique designs with striking and dramatic colours saw Morris become one of the most popular artists of his time. One example of his work entitled Ehret Die Frauen is displayed in the Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester and was inspired by a verse by Schiller extolling feminine virtue. Other examples of Morris designs include the Tree of Life, Flora, Pomona, and the Woodpecker.<br><br>A Continual Inspiration<br><br>Textiles have been used throughout history for a variety of purposes and in differing art media. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Everyone has pests in their home at one time or another in their lives. Some are easier to get rid of than others. Calling in a specialist <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pest+control+company" rel="tag">pest control company</a> generally means you are more likely to find a long-term solution than just spraying a bit of insecticide yourself. <br /><br /> Ants are a plague in many homes. Finding the nest and pouring boiling water onto it may be very satisfying, but it won't get rid of more than a few thousands of the millions of ants in the nest. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/wasps" rel="tag">Wasps</a> nests can be dealt with easily if they are in the ground. It is simple enough to watch where the wasps are going into the soil. Then you just buy a puffer bottle of powder from the hardware store, squirt it around the nest entrance and the wasps carry it in. What if the nest is up a tree, or under the roof of the house. Do you really want to be up a ladder being stung by thousands of angry wasps? Forget it and call in the professionals. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mice" rel="tag">Mice</a> often come indoors in the fall, when it gets cold outside. The first sign that you have mice may be rustlings under the furniture as the mice build their nest from scraps of paper you drop. If you wait, matters will only become worse, packets gnawed and small black mouse droppings in your kitchen. Mouse-traps may work, but are you expert enough with a mousetrap that you are not going to set it off and break your finger. Do you really want to remove a mouse with a bloody broken neck from a trap before breakfast? <br /><br /> Rats are a fact of life if you live in the country. You can sit outside at night with a rifle, or you can find someone who will rid you of the infestation by putting down poison on a regular basis. If you shoot one rat, another one will move in to take its place, so while shooting them may be satisfying and good <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/target+practice" rel="tag">target practice</a> it does not get rid of the problem permanently. <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pest+control+companies" rel="tag">Pest control companies</a> are very discreet and can be hired over the Internet, so your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/neighbours" rel="tag">neighbours</a> needn't know you have unwelcome visitors. After all it's not the kind of thing anyone likes to advertise. They will even lead away any stray unicorns. <bio>Loreno Lepe has a background in the chemical and construction industries. <content:encoded><![CDATA[There are so many different, fun and exciting things you can do with personalized stencils. The options really are limitless but let's take a closer look at a few of the great things you can do with personalized stencils.<br><br>Decorate your home with personalized stencils<br><br>With personalized stencils you can ad <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pizzazz" rel="tag">pizzazz</a> and spice to any room in your home. You can use the personalized stencils on the walls of the room to give them a great piece of art or even add the personalized stencils to your furniture. Using personalized stencils on your furniture will help make your furniture match the dιcor of your room even better than before. What if you have a nice old <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/piece+of+furniture" rel="tag">piece of furniture</a> hidden in the basement that could use a little sprucing up? Decorate it with your fun and easy to use personalized stencils. It will have a fresh new look that will surely match your room dιcor.<br><br>A baby's new room is a great place to add personalized stencils too. You can have the personalized stencils made into the new baby's name so it can be painted on the wall. There are also several other options when it comes to having personalized stencils made. You can order them from the internet or at your local <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/craft+store" rel="tag">craft store</a>. Why the personalized stencils might be a bit costly remember that they can be used over and over as long as you care for them properly.<br><br>You can wear your personalized stencils!<br><br>Well you can't literally wear the actual personalized stencils but you can use the personalized stencils on clothing that you can actually wear. By using <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fabric+paint" rel="tag">fabric paint</a> and the personalized stencils you can create a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fashion+look" rel="tag">fashion look</a> that is all your own. Do you have a passion for <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unicorns" rel="tag">unicorns</a> but can't seem to find the clothing you want in the stores? No problem! With personalized stencils you can have the unicorns you want, placed where you want them on the clothing you desire. This also holds true for anything else you are passionate about that you want on your clothing. Another great idea for personalized stencils and clothing is the fact that so many people now a day have unique names that are spelled differently from the "normal" spelling. If you have a unique or differently spelled name then you know how hard it is to find clothing or anything else for that matter with your name on it in the correct spelling. Take a person with the name Matthew. This name can be spelled Mathew also with just one T. This is a unique and non-common spelling which in turn makes it hard to find anything that is personalized with the correct spelling of this particular personal name. With personalized stencils this is an easy problem to solve as you can decorate any clothing or items you want with a personalized stencil.<br><br>With personalized clothing the only thing standing in the way of being creative is you! Get creative and get down to using those personalized stencils anywhere and everywhere you can think of!<bio>Miles Lovegrove is director of Fluid Branding, the UK's largest supplier of <a href='http://www.fluidbranding.com/products/stencils.html'>Promotional Stencils</a> and other <a href='http://www.fluidbranding.com/'>Promotional Products</a> at www.fluidbranding.com. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ As many of parents seem to be more concern about looking for some type of toys that suitable for their children and also to make them develop creative skills. Having pet seems to be one of the most favorite choice. However, having <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/real+pets" rel="tag">real pets</a> can be either pleasure or trouble. Kids may not have enough responsibility to take care their real pets and this brings a lot of problems to parents. Therefore, some parents can see the opportunity of having pet toys for their children. This may not be as good as having the real pets but it seem to be a better choice for many of them who do not want to get any trouble of having real pets. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/animal+dolls" rel="tag">Animal dolls</a> or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/animal+toys" rel="tag">animal toys</a> are also known as <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/virtual+pets" rel="tag">virtual pets</a> as so many people love to have in the past. <content:encoded><![CDATA[ Have you ever been to a party that is totally dead? And did you wish that someone would come in the room and save the day? Did you maybe daydream that you could be that person and be an instant <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hero" rel="tag">hero</a> in a room full of beautiful babies? Well here's an idea that may just fulfill this fantasy for you at that next bomb of a party--why not try <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magic+tricks" rel="tag">magic tricks</a>? <br /><br /> That's right magic tricks! I'm not talking about the huge <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/david+copperfield" rel="tag">David Copperfield</a> type illusions and shows. No just several amazing tricks that I have put together that can be done with household items (or items lying around at a party) that require no extra space or props or prep time. <br /><br /> When you think about it these are the most powerful <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/kind+of+magic" rel="tag">kind of magic</a> tricks anyway right? I mean you are instantly skeptical when you see <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magician" rel="tag">magician</a> Copperfield on TV doing his thing because its on TV and it is done with all sorts of special equipment and special camera angles. A total production that allows for so much to go on behind the scenes that it really doesn't have to be magical at all. More like special effects on a movie really. <br /><br /> On the other hand if you were to say pick up a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/deck+of+cards" rel="tag">deck of cards</a> and quickly do 2 or 3 magic tricks without any prep or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/specially" rel="tag">specially</a> prepared deck then you would truly be magical wouldn't you. And I'm not talking about the 4 jacks in a house that's on fire or the 9 stacks of cards with the chosen card specially placed to come out on top. These are lame. I'm talking about cards levitating and disappearing and reappearing. That sounds magical and amazing and hero creating now doesn't it. <br /><br /> The cool part about these magic tricks is that they don't require anything more than several hours of practice perfecting techniques and more importantly the knowledge that makes selling the trick easy. This after all is the true skill of a magician. Making the unbelievable seem very ordinary and matter of fact for you. <br /><br /> This knowledge needs to cost something too when you think about it. If it were free than everyone would know how to do the magic tricks and they wouldn't be very magical anymore would they. So I don't feel bad for charging for my expertise. It both protects my livelihood and protects the art of magic. <bio>Boyd Troublerr started doing magic tricks when he was 12 years old. Now a master magician he loves to teach magic for the preservation of the art. Go to <a href="http://www.learnmagictricks.info">http://www.learnmagictricks.info.</a>. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fairy+tattoos" rel="tag">Fairy tattoos</a> are fun, colorful and one of the most sensual designs available, and as such are an extremely popular choice for women. But that's not their only charm. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fairies" rel="tag">Fairies</a> have a long and interesting history and have become symbolic of many things. <br /><br /> The fair people, or little people as they were known, included banshees (from the Gaelic word for fairies, sidhe, pronounced shee) and were similar to the leprechauns of Ireland. <br /><br /> Many people believe that these magical sprites were driven underground by their enemies who used iron weapons against them. This is <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/supposedly" rel="tag">supposedly</a> why people who belived in fairies began the tradition of placing a horseshoe above the door for luck. <br /><br /> But before we go any further, it's important to bear in mind that the original fairies were nothing like the sickeningly sweet version served up by Disney. The traditional fairies were free spirits who were as likely to shower gifts on people they liked as play mischievous tricks on people that they didn't. They were known to reward beauty and kindness and play nasty tricks on disrespectful people. <br /><br /> Over time people developed various superstitions that they believed would please the fairies and bring them luck. These included, always treating them respectfully, keeping your promises and respecting the Earth (the fairies home). <br /><br /> Due to their beauty, these designs are extremely popular with women. And unlike <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/angel+tattoos" rel="tag">angel tattoos</a>, which lean more towards religion and pureness, fairies are more sensual, more mischievous and ultimately, more representative of human life <br /><br /> <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fairy+tattoo+designs" rel="tag">Fairy tattoo designs</a> are usually delicate and often have wings, but beyond that they can depict an almost endless range of mood and emotions such as happiness, sadness, beauty, mischievousness etc. <br /><br /> In terms of design, they're also extremely flexible. For example, the basic fairy design can be combined with a wide range of design features, such as Celtic patterns, butterflies, flowers, or other <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/mythical+creatures" rel="tag">mythical creatures</a> such as dragons or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/unicorns" rel="tag">unicorns</a>. Not only does this increase the chances of getting a unique tattoo it also adds greater personal meaning and symbolism to the design. <br /><br /> And due to the fact that they make excellent small tattoos they can be placed on virtually any part of the body. The lower back, hips and lower stomach are the most popular places for fairy designs. <br /><br /> However, due to the elaborate nature of these designs and the fact that they take longer to create, fairy tattoos are more expensive than other tattoos of a similar size. <br /><br /> So when you decide to get a fairy tattoo, make sure you have enough money to pay for the whole design regardless of how long it takes. There's nothing worse than running out of money halfway through a tattoo and having to go about with in incomplete tattoo until you can find enough money to get it finished. If you need to know how much a specific tattoo will cost, get your tattoo artist to give you an estimate. <br /><br /> If necessary it's possible to cut the cost of your fairy tattoo by reducing the size of your design or getting your artist to remove some of the intricate detail. <br /><br /> And finally, due to the detailed nature of most fairy designs, make sure that your tattoo artist has previous experience of creating this type of tattoo. If possible, take a look at the portfolio of fairy tattoos that they've already created. <bio>For more information about fairy tattoos and ideas about a whole range of popular tattoo designs, visit Gustavo Gomez's site at <a href="http://www.supertattoodesigns.com" >http://www.supertattoodesigns.com</a> </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[ There was an insightful post over at <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/warrior+forum" rel="tag">Warrior Forum</a> today called "How I Do Over 10K in ClickBank Sales Every Month." <br /><br /> I know you're salivating but hold up just one sec. You got to hear this, I promise. <br /><br /> While it's good stuff, you'll find "just another method to make a lot of money online." If you're like I was at one point, each time you see a new method of making money online, you quit what you're doing now (like you did the last 5 projects) and try this new magical method. <br /><br /> What you're doing right now likely works. Even if it's not working for you yet, chances are it's made more money for someone else than you can dream. <br /><br /> If you continue half-trying great ways to make money on the net, it's like you keep trading in your <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/clunker" rel="tag">clunker</a> for a new clunker. When really you can send your clunker to the guys at MTV's <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/pimp+my+ride" rel="tag">Pimp My Ride</a> and have a great car if you stick with what you're doing. <br /><br /> The KEY is to use all of these new great teachings you learn and apply them to what you're doing now. Like with Amy's post, you can use the ideas with the keyword bidding to build your list. Create a landing page, use keywords that will target the right audience for what you have to promote, and make your current business work for you. <br /><br /> If you jump from one business opp to another like a frog jumping from <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/lily+pad" rel="tag">lily pad</a> to lily pad, you're not going to ever make it to the other side of the bank. Instead, stay on the lily pad you're on and work on riding it smoothly to the other bank. (Dumb metaphor, but gets the point across doesn't it?) Stick with what you're doing this time. <br /><br /> Products and posts like these that Amy at Warrior Forum made (although she doesn't mean it I'm sure)=85 They make it seem like it's easy to make 10k per month online. Reality check. You could use Amy's method and make only $100 per month or much worse lose 10k per month. <br /><br /> Quit Thinking "<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magical+appeal" rel="tag">Magical Appeal</a>" and Think "Realistic Appeal" <br /><br /><br /><br /> * <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/article+marketing" rel="tag">Article Marketing</a> <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Common Magical Appeal: Buy my article marketing course now! Imagine your articles effortlessly circulating the internet like a wild fire! The money will pour in with ease! Just like John Fillmore who makes over 20k per month just by article marketing, you can too! Order now! <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Positive: When someone reads your article and enjoys it, you've already pre-sold them before they visit your website in your bio box. You can generate enough traffic with article marketing alone to run a six-figure online business. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Negative: It's time-consuming writing articles, you have to learn the art, and your article may never get picked up by another publisher and it might not rank high in the search engines. It might have been a complete waste of time. <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />You say: "Wow. That article marketing must be something special. I'm doing everything all wrong, so I think I'll stop working the search engines and viral marketing and focus only on article marketing." <br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />Reality: Article marketing isn't like working a 9 to 5 job. It's not like=85 if you weed eat the ditch for 8 hours then you'll get paid $80. Your article could get picked up by another publisher, or it might not. It could drive significant traffic to your site, or it might not. If you don't know what you're doing and you don't put in about 1,000 hours writing, then you'll never really get good at writing articles. Article marketing is like planting seeds (as Mike Filsaime says), because at first the articles won't likely produce much of anything, but after a while your articles could develop into a green lawn of traffic and conversions. <br /><br /> The reality of Amy's post is that yeah, you can do well, but you can also lose so much money that you could have used it to feed your family for a year. <br /><br /> Now, when you're writing copy or selling to your list, the magical appeal sells. LOL=85 That's just nature and that's why you're all into this magical appeal. Problem is you get nowhere when you choose magical appeal over realistic appeal. <bio>Thanks for reading. Visit me online at <a href="http://erevenueselect.com" >http://erevenueselect.com</a> because I'll give you something you can use in your online business today. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[In a culture where art and life are often inextricable, <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magical+secrets" rel="tag">Magical Secrets</a> about Thinking Creatively: The Art of Etching and the Truth of Life (<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/prestel+publishing" rel="tag">Prestel Publishing</a>, ISBN 3-7913-3654-1, $35) comes as the latest in a series of books, sites and magazines that keep them entwined. <br /><br /> In the last few years, the number of magazines and websites devoted to art criticism, art projects and found art, has ballooned, a sign of rising enthusiasm about art among people from all walks of life. There is an abundance of new books, on one hand (the hand of cultural criticism), Michael Kimmelman's The Accidental Masterpiece: On the Art of Life and Vice Versa, John Updike's Still Looking: Essays on American Art; on the other hand (the hand of pure pop culture) an insurgence of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/immensely" rel="tag">immensely</a> successful novels based as much on art as on life: <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/girl+with+a+pearl+earring" rel="tag">Girl with a Pearl Earring</a>, Jonathan Harr's The Lost Painting, last but not least, The Da Vinci Code. <br /><br /> And then there are plenty of examples of pop cultural criticism, such as Hal Niedzvieki's Hello, I'm Special: How Individuality Became the New Conformity, along with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/countless+books" rel="tag">countless books</a> and products on the market designed to help everyone from businessmen to babies to bus drivers embrace their own creative genius. <br /><br /> Magical Secrets, which is at once a book, a DVD, and a website (<a href="<a href="http://www.magical-secrets.com">http://www.magical-secrets.com.</a>"><a href="http://www.magical-secrets.com">http://www.magical-secrets.com.</a></a>), is one of the smartest of these forays into exploring creativity. The book is formulaic without being predictable: Author Kathan Brown has organized it into thirteen chapters, one for each "magical secret," (<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/my+favorites" rel="tag">my favorites</a> are chapters five and six, "Don't Know What You Want" and "Know What You Don't Want," a very Zen-like juxtaposition). Magical Secrets manages to pack a lot in, from stories about artists to musings on the creative thought process. Yet Brown spends no more than a handful of pages on any one Secret, and addresses her reader clearly and concisely, not as an entertainer or an academic but as a confidant, pupil and friend. She guides her audience confidently on a path that leads inward, but still somehow ends up outside the self. <br /><br /> It is a feat in itself simply that Magical Secrets conveys a lot of information. Etching, one finds, is a centuries-old technique of incising an image into metal with acid. The artist begins by covering the surface of a copper plate with a hard, waxy ground. He cuts the image he wants into the ground with an etching needle or other sharp tool, then submerges the plate in acid. The acid bites into the grooves and crevices, the waxy ground is rubbed off, and the image is left engrained in the smooth surface of the plate. The resulting incisions are filled with ink, a piece of paper is placed on the plate, and the whole thing is run through the printing press. Scraping and burnishing the copper, rubbing the ink into the grooves, and pulling the plate through the press are highly physical, labor-intensive processes that involve a lot of painstaking, detailed work, yet the resulting lines an artist can get are often the most delicate you've ever seen, and the textures the most subtle. Though etching is appreciated by many art lovers, the number of master etchers in the United States might be comparable to the number of virtuoso organists or rare orchid cultivators. It is not the first thing most people think of when faced with something as huge as Life. <br /><br /> But etching has been Kathan Brown's life. Despite the beauty of etching, it was not taken seriously in the United States contemporary art market until Brown made it her mission to revive it. Since Crown Point Press's inception in 1962, artists from all over the world who work in different mediums--from San Francisco conceptual sculptor Tom Marioni to New York composer John Cage; from Australian Aboriginal artist Dorothy Napangardi to Pakistani-born miniature painter Shahzia Sikander--have been drawn there for a unique experience in art making. Magical Secrets about Thinking Creatively marks the forty-fourth year in Brown's highly energetic and passionate career. <br /><br /> The variety of art represented at Crown Point speaks to the depth of Brown's understanding of it; while her technique is narrow, her scope is broad, and that is what makes Magical Secrets a compelling read. Brown offers a broad understanding of the etching process, and ultimately steps back to examine creativity itself. "Many artists have told me that after working with etching they have a new awareness of what they are doing in their painting or sculpture," she writes in the preface. "You can share their awareness through this book, which is for artists and people who have -- or would like to have -- the spirit of an artist." Indeed, Brown's style makes it difficult not to share this awareness: like good art, her writing makes her subject seem both obvious and somehow profound. <bio>Kathan Brown founded Crown Point Press in 1962. She was born in New York in 1935 and earned a BA from Antioch College in Ohio. She spent two years in London in the late 1950's, where she studied etching at the Central School of Arts and Crafts. She has worked with artists from John Cage to Julie Mehretu. <content:encoded><![CDATA[I'm often asked what the best way to start to learn <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/how+to+do+magic+tricks" rel="tag">how to do magic tricks</a> would be, and although it can be different from person to person, I'm sure I can provide a few hints and tips that may help and probably more importantly, - what you should try to avoid. <br /><br /> I think the most important thing to do when just starting to dabble in magic, is to learn a few <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/simple+magic+tricks" rel="tag">simple magic tricks</a> that can be done without having to use any gimmicked apparatus or special <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/props" rel="tag">props</a>. I mean magic tricks that can be done using ordinary items that can often be borrowed and handed out for examination after the miracle has been performed. <br /><br /> This can be really stunning for any lay audience, as they are so used to seeing magic tricks and illusions on TV and video, where fancy and often expensive props are used and also where camera tricks and clever editing are used to create a more exciting TV program. <br /><br /> I'm sure you're well aware that most magic can be purchased from reputable magic suppliers and you'll also know that the cost of most <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magical+secrets" rel="tag">magical secrets</a> is usually very high. (Often very expensive) <br /><br /> So how can you possibly learn how to do magic tricks without spending a great deal of money for these secrets and when most top <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magicians" rel="tag">magicians</a> will just not explain how their magic tricks are done. <br /><br /> Most magicians first started to do magic tricks after receiving a small <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magic+set" rel="tag">magic set</a>, but unfortunately the typical magic set is usually made up totally of "self-working" tricks, with trick cards and boxes etc., none of which can be examined by the audience after the trick has been shown, and so there's the problem and worry of having to hide your tricks as soon as you finish each one. <br /><br /> For a beginner this creates a problem, especially among friends and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/classmates" rel="tag">classmates</a>, who are always desperate to examine the magical props and try to find out "how it's done". <br /><br /> So that's why I suggest learning some simple magic tricks with ordinary everyday objects that can often be borrowed and then freely handed out for examination. Ordinary everyday items like coins, pens, banknotes and such like, appear to be beyond any suspicion of trickery and doing magical things with them is so very effective and yet often very simple. <br /><br /> This really adds tremendously to the magic and of course, as most professional magicians will tell you, - "the simple effects are the ones that are usually the most stunning to the audience and in my experience, get the best response". <br /><br /> Some of the best items to use to amaze your friends are coins, banknotes, pens, rope etc. and there are a few basic skills that are so easy to learn and will very quickly allow you to vanish and exchange coins and several small objects. <br /><br /> One of these basic skills is known as the "French Drop", which is what all magicians use to vanish and exchange small items like coins, keys, balls etc. So I would certainly recommend that one of the first things that you should practice, as a beginner, is just that (French Drop) and coupled with the simple Palming of a coin. <br /><br /> This will allow you to carry out a nice magic routine with borrowed coins etc. and will leave you "Clean" at the end of the effects. It will also get you out of difficulty when you are expected to do something magical. <br /><br /> This is magic that requires no props or fancy apparatus and there are now many great magical Websites where you can learn hosts of magic tricks for free. <br /><br /> In fact I set up my own Magic Website with the soul purpose of passing on my experience and knowledge to help all those eager would-be magicians to enjoy the sheer joy and pleasure of performing magic and entertaining others. <br /><br /> So in today's digital Internet world you can get some amazing and exciting magic for free if you just search for and visit the right magic websites. -- So go ahead and look around and welcome to the wonderful world of magic. <bio>Learn <a href="http://www.magictouches.com/magic-tricks.htm" >http://www.magictouches.com/magic-tricks.htm</a> how to do magic tricks at Johnnie Gentle's Magic Website: The Magic Touch And Get Your <a href="http://www.freemagicebook.com" >http://www.freemagicebook.com</a> and eBooks Today! </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/" rel="tag"></a>There's no denying that Christmas is a truly special time of year and with so many Christmas presents to buy and wrap, all that catering and family entertaining; it seems unlikely that we'd ever get through it all without some sort of miracle. But the real spirit of Christmas lies behind the eyes of those who truly believe in its magic; and you don't have to dress up as Santa Claus to get the party started.<br><br>Spread the Christmas Spirit early this year with a set of handmade Christmas Cards. Ideal for getting the younger kids involved, they bring a real personal touch to the festive season. Whilst they've got the pens out, you could also get them to write out those all important letters from an official 'Christmas Letter to Santa Kit'. These charming Christmas presents come with pre-addressed envelopes to the big man himself and are sure to heighten that magical feel.<br><br>One of the greatest traditions on Christmas Eve is leaving out some Christmas presents for Santa and Rudolph in the form of a mince pie, sherry and perhaps a couple of carrots (who eats what should be clear). For the ultimate in magical Christmas presents this year, why not invest in a 'Dear Santa Mince Pie and Carrots Plate'? Not only does it leave a lovely little message for him but it makes a nice addition to the Christmas decorations too.<br><br>But the magic of Christmas is not exclusively for the little one's; Christmas should be a special time of year for the whole family and for some really magical Christmas presents, why not make someone's dreams come true?<br><br>Perhaps you know someone who has always harboured a desire to drive a Ferrari, do a bungee jump or even parachute out of a plane? Well, making those dreams come true can be easier than you think with a choice of experience day Christmas presents. For something a little bit more relaxing then you could treat someone to a day of pampering at a health spa, or how about a professional makeover and photo-shoot? If the real idea of Christmas magic is spending time with your family then you could also invest in some Christmas presents that you can all join in with. From paintballing fun to a day at the races, these Christmas presents are a great way of making sure that Christmas doesn't have to be over by Boxing Day.<br><br>Perhaps you know someone who has always had a particular ambition or dream, such as being a premier league football player or a famous movie star. Well, the magic of Christmas can at least help you along the way with a selection of personalised Christmas gifts. With the personalised calendars, all you need to do is supply the recipient's name which will appear in a number of spectacular images, one for every month. It will appear as though their names are on the back of a football shirt or written as the star attraction outside a West End theatreor perhaps just spelt out in the stars; these Christmas presents make for some truly unique keepsakes to be enjoyed all year round.<br><br>The best magic tricks are those where the real secrets are never fully revealed and there are a number of Christmas presents you could give this year that will astound and confuse. You could bring back Andy Warhol with a personalised 'Andy Warhol Style Popo Art Print' simply send in a photograph of the recipient and they will appear in the images that were made most memorable by the likes of Marilyn Monroe. You could even put someone in the headlines with a 'Personalised Mirror Spoof Newspaper' these Christmas presents are a hilarious way of making your loved one a celebrity for the day.<br><br>Why not let the Christmas magic sparkle this year with some shiny Christmas presents? For some truly unique gifts you could engrave a number of Christmas presents for that ultimate personal touch. From carriage clocks to photo frames, cufflinks to Wine Bar Sets; you could out-do Santa Claus this year and give someone a very Merry Christmas. Engraved gifts can be treasured forever and therefore make great Christmas presents for younger children too.<br><br>With all those magical Christmas presents under one tree you'll be able to give Harry Potter a run for his money, but then wouldn't be a proper Christmas without any Wizzard now would it? Everybody. "Oh, I wish it could be Christ-mas every-daa-y"<bio>To explore our range of <a href="http://www.gettingpersonal.co.uk">christmas gifts</a> further, please visit our website at http://www.gettingpersonal.co.uk.</bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Have you ever met someone whom, when you're with them, time just seems to disappear? You are talking to them for what feels like five minutes and all of a sudden you realize it's actually been five hours.<br><br>Do you ever get lost in somebody so much that you feed off of each other's energy? Then as you're feeding off each other's energy, you just want to learn more and more about that person.<br><br>You not only want to know what they're all about, you want to know everything about them. You want to know what they were like as a kid, what they're afraid of, what they feel, what their <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/favorite+things" rel="tag">favorite things</a> are, their <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/favorite+foods" rel="tag">favorite foods</a>, their favorite bands and their favorite <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/vacation+spots" rel="tag">vacation spots</a>. Every time you learn something about them, you want to learn more.<br><br>You want to know what they like to do, because the more you talk to them the more you get lost in this incredible world you're in when you're talking to them. Have you every met somebody with whom you can sit across a table at a restaurant for three hours without even one moment of silence?<br><br>I'm not really even talking, though, about <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/moments+of+silence" rel="tag">moments of silence</a>. I'm talking about how you feed off each other's energy. It's the way you laugh, the way you smile and the way you talk. It's how every <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/time+one" rel="tag">time one</a> of you tells a story that the other will have a story having to do with the same subject, and you find you connect in so <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/many+different+ways" rel="tag">many different ways</a>.<br><br>Every time you get to learn more about them, their energy keeps going into you. You feel more of their energy, get to know more of their energy and you crave more of their energy. You start to crave that connection you have with them.<br><br>You just get lost in time, and time doesn't matter. You could be absolutely exhausted at the end of a long day when you speak with them, then all of a sudden a five <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/minute+conversation" rel="tag">minute conversation</a> turns into a three hour conversation because you feed off of each other's energy. It's like a high. You get this incredible feeling when you talk to that person.<br><br>You get lost in time. Really, what is "lost in time?" Lost in time is just amazing chemistry with somebody. The reason we all spend so much time hoping and desiring to find someone is so we can have the feeling of being "lost in time."<br><br>There's nothing better than feeling lost in time with somebody, because time doesn't really matter. If you think about it, there's no such thing as time. What matters is the feelings and emotions you experience in every given situation.<br><br>So the next time you meet somebody and you get lost in a little world with them, enjoy it! That is what magic is all about . . . connecting with another person, feeding off of everything they say and wanting to learn every little thing about them. This is what you experience when you get lost in time with someone.<br><br>You know what else is magical about getting lost in time? It's the moment you realize something magical is happening. You know it. You can feel it. Your gut and your intuition tell you. Then you savor every moment.<br><br>It's like every phone conversation is just amazing. Every time you hang out, it's amazing. The feeling of getting to know somebody with whom you truly connect and share intense chemistry is incredible.<br><br>I know personally that I savor every moment, because when you meet somebody with whom you get lost in time when you hang with them then you know something special and magical is happening. You need to really just embrace it and realize these "lost in time" moments are something that will put a smile on your face for a long time.<br><br>My brother and his wife are a great example of this. If you would ask my brother what the most magical feeling was when he met his wife, he would say it was the first year they spent together because that's when they built the foundation for a lifetime of love. He remembers every conversation, the first cuddle and every kiss, because being able to experience magic with somebody is a gift.<br><br>That magic is something that all of us are craving, and that we all desire. The problem some of us have is that we are scared to death of it. We're scared to death of letting go, so we can actually have this.<br><br>The amazing thing about getting lost in time with someone is knowing they're on the same page with you. It takes two strong people to let down all the walls and enjoy the moment.<br><br>There is nothing more powerful than getting lost in time. I know, because I'm experiencing it and I'm enjoying every second of whatever we call time.<bio>Hailed on Fox News, The LA Times, The NY Times, Playboy and more... <content:encoded><![CDATA[To be merry at Christmas is one thing, but to be married at Christmas is truly romantic and magical. What could be a better time to get married and start a new life than when families come together to celebrate the festive season? <br /><br /> I'm sure there are many ideas that you and your partner can come up with on your own, however, here is a brief outline of some of them that may help you on your way. <br /><br /> VOWS: <br /><br /> • Your vows should come directly from the heart; however, the wording could be played with in order to create a magical feeling for you both. <br /><br /> • As Christmas is a religious time you could always stick with the traditional vows, maybe embellishing upon this for the sake of the Christmas season. <br /><br /> INVITATIONS: <br /><br /> • Leave a little more time before sending your invitations as people's diaries will be very busy this time of year. <br /><br /> • You can highlight the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/christmas+theme" rel="tag">Christmas theme</a> on your invitations without making it look too much like a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/christmas+card" rel="tag">Christmas card</a>, for example, simply introducing a border made of white snowflakes around your text. <br /><br /> WEDDING FAVOURS: <br /><br /> • Ice cube place card holders • Treasure ball -- filled with <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/christmas+candy" rel="tag">Christmas candy</a> • Holiday ornament candles • Miniature wedding snow globes • Personalised <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/christmas+crackers" rel="tag">Christmas crackers</a> • Mini Christmas trees <br /><br /> ENTERTAINMENT: <br /><br /> • Ask a children's choir to sing at the ceremony. • Hire a wedding magician to give your wedding breakfast a little more....well you know -- magical! • Any singer or band that is willing to either provide part or a whole Christmas show. <br /><br /> DECORATIONS: <br /><br /> • This one is simple -- except this time you might not want to let the kids have a go. • <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/miniature+christmas+trees" rel="tag">Miniature Christmas trees</a> with lots of presents underneath • Lots of candle light • Glitter! <br /><br /> THE CAKE: <br /><br /> • You could have a cake that looks like a stack of Christmas gifts • Decorate with Iced holly and berries • Incorporate the traditional colours and symbols <br /><br /> THE ARRIVAL: <br /><br /> • For a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/true+christmas" rel="tag">true Christmas</a> look you could arrive on a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/christmas+sleigh" rel="tag">Christmas sleigh</a> with Santa at the reins. • If you'd prefer to arrive by the normal means you could work a little magic with the decorations. <br /><br /> FLOWERS: <br /><br /> • Check with your florist which flowers are in season over Christmas. • Bear in mind that flowers can be more expensive this time of year. • Use holly, pine and sprigs of Ivy. • Add mistletoe to accent corsages and boutonnieres. • Place pots of poinsettia in the centre of each table, tied with a ribbon trim. <br /><br /> Well that's a start anyway! Between the two of you, I'm sure you'll find many more ways in which to make the perfect Christmas wedding. <bio>Luca Salamone Website: <a href="http://www.vocalshow.co.uk" >http://www.vocalshow.co.uk</a> Biography: Luca is a professional trained vocalist performing for a variety of events including wedding receptions. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Many <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/people+search" rel="tag">people search</a> for a magical <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/weight+loss+diet" rel="tag">weight loss diet</a> tip that will help them shed the pounds and keep them off. But is there really any such thing? If all the best information could be packaged into one workable piece of advice, then maybe that would be the magical tip people yearn for. <br /><br /> The soundest <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/weight+loss+advice" rel="tag">weight loss advice</a> can be summarized as this weight <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/loss+diet+tip" rel="tag">loss diet tip</a>: do not eat processed foods. That includes any white flour products and any sodas, including <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/diet+sodas" rel="tag">diet sodas</a>. That's it. That one tip could reverse the trend of increasing <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/obesity+in+america" rel="tag">obesity in America</a> and begin to restore people to normal balance. <br /><br /> The reason is that the standard American diet (SAD -- and it is) is very high in simple carbohydrates that convert quickly to blood sugar. This forces the pancreas to produce more insulin. Eventually, the pancreas gets worn out, the <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/insulin+receptors" rel="tag">insulin receptors</a> on the fat cells stop working properly and people develop obesity and related illnesses such as diabetes. <br /><br /> This is the only weight loss diet tip that will work for the long term and not only allow the body to lose weight but also reverse diseases like diabetes and reduce the risk of heart disease. Of course, the amount of food eaten is going to impact your weight, and if you decide to replace our SAD diet with loaves of whole grain bread, you may be healthier but you'll probably still be overweight. <br /><br /> If you want to lose weight, you need to burn more energy than you take in through food. Increasing exercise can certainly help you do this and avoiding fast and other processed foods will make it easy to decrease calorie consumption as well as avoiding foods that elevate your blood glucose levels. <br /><br /> The more natural your diet, the more active your lifestyle, the more you drink adequate amounts of pure water and the more you can avoid chemicals and other toxins, the better your chances of being restored to a healthy weight and the easier it will be to stay there. <br /><br /> Any weight loss diet tip that doesn't prescribe lifestyle change isn't worth listening to. Do yourself a favor and reject artificial, mass-produced food products. Go back to a more natural way of living. Eat living foods that will impart to you some of their own vitality. Food is fuel. If what you are eating is not good fuel for your body, it is best to avoid it. This is the one magical weight loss diet tip that works. Why not put it to the test? <bio>Easy weight loss does not have to mean deprivation or back-breaking exercise routines. <content:encoded><![CDATA[Orlando is a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/hot" rel="tag">hot</a> part of the earth and come summer the humidity and temperature can reach triple digits. Worse still, weeks of heat occur exactly when school is out and families head to <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/walt+disney+world" rel="tag">Walt Disney World</a>. No one in her right frame of mind considers heat, humidity and crowd a great combo, but with some planning, your family's summer vacation to Disney World can still be fun. <br /><br /> Staying at an on-property <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/disney+hotel" rel="tag">Disney hotel</a> is a good start. You can commute to the parks in air-conditioned comfort using Disney bus, monorail or water transportation. This is definitely a better choice than driving a car that has been baking in the sun for hours. <br /><br /> Another incentive for staying on a <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/disney+property" rel="tag">Disney property</a> is that you can take advantage of the Extra Magic Hour. On designated days, a Walt Disney World theme park will open an hour early for Disney Resort guests only. With that extra hour, you have time to take a break during the afternoon for a swim or a nap. Some resorts even have water activities, such as water skiing and surfing lessons, which are perfect for a hot day. <br /><br /> Pack a few water-mister fans. These little gizmo's are life-savers. It's fun to buy the Mickey version in the park, but why pay $15 a pop if you can get them at Wal-Mart for $4.95 each? Kids will be fighting over them, so getting a few of them cheaply and packing additional batteries to go is a smart choice. <br /><br /> If you have a Park-Hopper Pass, cool down by visiting the water parks. Both <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/blizzard+beach" rel="tag">Blizzard Beach</a> and <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/typhoon+lagoon" rel="tag">Typhoon Lagoon</a> offer lots of fun for the whole family in the form of slides or raft rides. The water parks get crowded in a hot day pretty fast, so if you arrive at 11 am or after, expect plenty of queuing in the hot sun. <br /><br /> This is obvious, but crucial to mention nonetheless: dress light and wear sandals. Most theme-park guidebooks advise proper shoes and socks, but with the heat and humidity, wrapping your feet in socks isn't actually going to help. <br /><br /> Remember to drink plenty of water. If someone in your group does get dehydrated, get to the First Aid Station. Each Disney theme park has one. <br /><br /> This is the best tip, which is why I'm saving it for the last. If you have tots, let them set the pace. Kids get cranky easily in the heat. This is more so considering that while you are looking at castles, they are in a hot stroller with nothing interesting at eye level. So if the kids are tired, head to somewhere with air-conditioning, have a break in a restaurant, or do anything that allows everyone to cool down. <bio>Valerie Tay is the webmaster of <a href="http://magical-disney-vacations.com">http://magical-disney-vacations.com</a> and she rejoices in showing you tips and tricks to make your Disney vacations all the more magical. </bio>]]></content:encoded>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[Throughout the world, fairies are known for their timeless beauty and powerful magical gifts. Fairies are believed to be descended from supernatural beings from another world that came to this earth to begin their civilization anew. With so many different stories, legends, myths and tales about fairies, it has become easy to see that fairies are truly <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/amazing+creatures" rel="tag">amazing creatures</a> with untold <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/magical+abilities" rel="tag">magical abilities</a>. <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fairy+magic" rel="tag">Fairy magic</a> has inspired our children for generations and has given each and every one of us a glimmer of fairy magic to hold close to our hearts.<br><br>Take a look at a few of the magical abilities that fairies are believed to possess:<br><br>Light as a Feather: The Gift of Flight<br><br>In many works of art and literature, fairies are seen as creatures with small iridescent wings. In some cases, fairies fly only with fairy magic. Tinkerbell, a popular Disney fairy has a small pouch of <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fairy+dust" rel="tag">fairy dust</a> that, when sprinkled on heads filled with happy thoughts, can make someone fly. Historically, fairies fly using basic fairy magic or the use of their wings. Girls everywhere dream of, one day, having the gift of being able to fly like a glimmering fairy.<br><br>Fairy Glamour and Shielding: The Ability to Mask <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/true+appearances" rel="tag">True Appearances</a> and Hide from View<br><br>The fairy glamour is the ability to hide or mask their appearances or the appearances of others behind a veil of fairy magic. What looks like a haggard old lady may actually be a beautiful fairy hidden behind her glamour. Historically, fairies used their glamour in order to hide the true whereabouts of their Sidhe Mounds or <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/fairy+mounds" rel="tag">Fairy mounds</a>. What, to some, may look like nothing but a pile of fallen rocks, may actually be a spectacular palace bedecked in jewels and gold.<br><br>Fairy shielding is the fairy's ability that allows it to hide from human view by vibrating its body at super high speeds. The vibrating has the effect that they aren't in one place long enough to be seen. Unfortunately, if fairies don't want to be seen, you won't see them. There is a suspicion that some are born with the gift to see past fairy glamour and shielding. If only we were all so lucky!<br><br>Mind Control: A Mesmerizing Gift<br><br>The fairy Mesmer, or mind control ability, is widely believed to be used on humans to make them do fairy bidding. The fairy only needs to have eye contact in order to take over your mind with a simple turn of phrase or change in voice tone. The only way to fight the fairy Mesmer is to wear reflective eye gear or to not look them in the eye at all.<br><br>Presto Chango: The Fairies Ability to Shape Shift<br><br>Fairies can be as big as a bear, as small as an ant, as ugly as a troll or as beautiful as a princess...or they can actually be all of those things. Fairies have the ability to change their shapes, also called shape shifting. One minute you could be arguing with a diminutive woman and in the next moment you are staring down the face of a Siberian Tiger!<br><br>Fairies are amazing mythical creatures with truly awesome magical gifts. No one really knows the limit of fairy magic or even if there is a limit at all. But one thing is for sure; fairy magic has the ability to enthrall, empower, mesmerize, and glamorize anyone with a true love for all things fairy.<bio>Hedgepig Gifts offers a range of <a href="http://www.hedgepig.co.uk/fairiesfairygifts-c-9100199.html" title="fairy gifts">fairy gifts</a> including <a href="http://www.hedgepig.co.uk/fairiesfairygiftsflowerfairies-c-9100199_9100205.html" title="flower fairies">flower fairies</a>, <a href="http://www.hedgepig.co.uk/fairiesfairygiftsnightfairies-c-9100199_9100264.html" title="night fairies">night fairies</a> and many more fairy figurine ranges and from top studios.</bio>]]></content:encoded>
