Branding is very important to companies nowadays. Through the brand, a company can communicate with its consumers. A brand is considered to be valuable if it elicits a positive response from its consumers. When a consumer sees a product with a certain brand label on it and buys the product, then the brand is considered to be highly valuable. Anything that helps a product be sold is valuable. Anything that increases company value is valuable. If a brand can increase the sales of the company, then in turn it will make the company more profitable. If the brand is useful in generating more sales, then the brand is considered to be of value.

Internet coupons can affect branding in so many ways. The following examples are both positive and negative ways wherein branding is affected. Let us first look at the positive effect. When a certain consumer sees an internet coupon, he or she will most likely have a positive response to the product. For example, an internet coupon with the ad, "Buy two of these <a href="http://www.artwoo.com/tag/calculators" rel="tag">calculators and get one free," will let the consumer know that they could make good use of these calculators. Who would not want three calculators for the price of two? The brand of the calculator will be positively affected because the consumers will say to themselves that this company values its consumers so much that it is now giving away a third calculator for free. The consumer will then say, "We should get this calculator from the shop now." This is a positive response.

On the other hand, the internet coupon may also affect the brand of the calculator in a negative way. When a consumer sees the internet coupon, "Buy two of these calculators and get one free," he can always think otherwise. He may think that these calculators are being given internet coupons because they are not selling in the department store. This internet coupon campaign is a desperate attempt of the company to sell these lousy calculators. When the consumer thinks like this, then they will basically not buy the calculator. What is worse is how it affects the brand. Since these coupons may elicit a negative response, then no one else may want to buy these calculators because of the image it conveyed through the internet coupons. The brand of the calculator will be affected both now and in the future. No one may want to buy these calculators because since they were sold at a huge discount before, they are likely lousy in performance.

Companies should think very well on how they issue internet coupons. These internet coupons will affect their company brand either in a positive or a negative way. A company should not simply issue internet coupons left and right, they should think twice or even thrice before making such move. <bio>Taisha Grant writes about http://www.perfumefragrancecoupons.com/Categories/Women's/Skin%20Care.html and http://www.perfumefragrancecoupons.com/Coupons/Perfume%20Emporium.html </bio>

I once had a boss who told us to never return phone calls right away. He said if you return a call too quickly, the other person might think you're not very busy. This same boss also liked to say "always make it hard for the other person to schedule an appointment with you".

His logic, in both cases was that if you appeared super busy then the other person (a prospect) would want to do business with you because you're a winner. And (he reasoned), it gave you the upper hand in any negotiations. Your apparent success told the prospect you didn't need their business.

Great advice!

Unless you actually want to grow your business. Then it's lousy advice. Who wants to do business with someone who purposely delays responding to you and who intentionally is difficult to work with? Not me.

My old boss got it wrong in a big way. He spent too much time thinking about himself and how he appeared to other people. He thought by creating a certain image, he could manipulate people into wanting to do business with him.

But that's contrary to how good business works. The only sure way to getting and keeping customer for the long term is to focus on them, not on yourself.

Note, this does not mean you completely disregard what you want and need for a business relationship. Not at all! You're in business to help your customers and you can't do that if you run yourself out of business.

When you focus on your customers, you honestly try to see things from their perspective. Your purpose is to help them get what they want. You try to deliver them the best experience you can in the context of what they want and what you're able to do for them.

The deal is by helping them get what they want, you automatically get what you want (the price or fee they pay you, for example).

People and companies who do this continue to attract customers and keep them coming back. They offer service that Seth Godin calls "remarkable." "Remarkable Service" is service that is so good, your customers tell others about it.

It's not hard to be remarkable, especially in how we communicate with people. These days most people do a lousy job returning calls and emails. Several weeks ago, I called a local company to sign up for their service. I waited 24 hours and called again because no one had bothered to call back.

Then, after I gave them my credit card information, I never heard from them again, until I contacted them. They did nothing to reach out to me before or after I placed my order.

What's sad is their responsiveness is not surprising. It's closer to the norm than I like. So, if you want to be remarkable in the eyes of your customers, do these things and you'll knock their socks off:

1. Return their calls and emails right away.

2. Be easy to work with. Be flexible and accommodate their situation.

3. Focus on how you can help them get what they want.

4. Ask them how you can best serve them and listen to what they tell you.

Build your business around these actions and you'll build relationships with customers that will survive just about anything. <bio>More customers!
It has been a known fact for many years that aromatherapy can be used for the treatment of illnesses such as emotional as well as physical challenges. Today you can still find people that do not believe in the use of aromatherapy but they are diminishing in numbers. People today are well educated and know that the usage of aromatherapy products can have even extreme effect when used for treatment purposes. Normally we find that aromatherapy is used when treating adults but as with most other treatments it can be used for children and babies as well. The great thing about aromatherapy is that it is a healthy way of treatment compared to the chemical treatments offered by the medicine industry.

As well as with all other treatment types used for adults, you need to keep in mind that at child is not as big a human as an adult and therefore you will need to correct to dose used. You wouldn't not want to give your child an overdose even with the usage of the aromatherapy oils that are normally safe to use. Secondly it is always advised when using "adult products" and "adult treatments" on babies, that you consult with a professional aroma therapist to avoid causing any harm.

The good thing about the use of aromatherapy for babies is that you can treat them safely and will not have to pump medicine into their tiny bodies to relief them of illness symptoms. You will be doing your child a huge favor as it has been proven many times that extensive use of medicine can cause other diseases later in life.

Will Any Type of Aromatherapy Work? When you first start out buying aromatherapy oils and essential oils with various scents, there are a few basic things that you will need to be aware of and to pay attention to. First of all it is crucially important that you go for the essential natural oils and not the (much cheaper) synthetic oils. Unfortunately most people have not done their homework and might think that as long as it is called aromatherapy oil, it must all be the same. Fact is that is very far from the truth.

The difference between using natural essential aromatherapy oils and synthetic ones are that the natural one is plant based. It is made from extracts from herbs and plants while the synthetic ones (as the name clearly states) are man or machine made and often comes from different types of chemicals that are mixed together.

Some synthetic oils have been the cause of skin irritations and some have actually been banned from the market. Not that you are in a situation where you are thinking of using oils to treat your child or even your baby, is would an absolute catastrophe if you by doing so caused skin irritations because you wanted to save those extra few dollars. I you think of it in another way you should ask yourself the question: "What is my child's health worth to me?" Will I risk it to save a few dollars? Hopefully your answer to that question is NO.

To find essential oils you need to start with the list of ingredients. Does the list look like it is made up of natural ingredients such as herbs or does it seem synthetic? Secondly the way the oils are packed will often tell you whether it is quality or not. Lousy packing is often the same as lousy quality. Finally the price will often give away the natural essential oils. It will be sold at a far higher price than the synthetic ones but there is also no comparability in effects at all.

When you have found what you are looking for there is only the choice of scent and the desired effect. I suggest that you talk to the person selling you the oils and tell them that it is for your baby and that the symptoms you want it to work for is so and so. That will provide you with the best possible start to use aromatherapy as a way of treatment. <bio>Find out much more about aromatherapy at http://www.essentialaromatheraphy.com </bio>

As you may know I wrote about this topic before in one of my other articles, but I feel it's important that I'm going to bring it up again.

Headlines like "Money" are what make's the world go around. We've become so busy and limited with our time nowadays that we usually pick and choose what we read usually because of an interesting article title.

Take any of the current newspapers or women's magazines as an example. If you stroll past your local newsstand you'll see numerous magazines and papers screaming out read me, read me!

The funny thing is the majority of them have the exact same celebrity story or major news event in them but a great article headline on one paper or magazine can make it stand out from the rest and grab your attention.

Now bring that idea back to your article in an article directory. Like the newsstand there are numerous articles on various topics all screaming out read me, read me!

Probably all containing the same content more or less but the headlines on some articles are what make the winners stand out from the losers.

So what can you do to put the odds in your favor and also should you write your article headline like you would an offline headline?

To take the second part of the question first the answer is NO and for two reasons.

1. If you've written your article to be more search engine friendly you really should be putting the major keywords of your article in the first 3-4 words.

Take my articles title as an example "Article Marketing -- Is Your Article Headline Killing Your Article?" the major keywords I'm after is "Article Marketing" so this is the first words my headline begins with, plus I've used the one of my keywords again further down the headline to reinforce my keywords.

2. Not only does it help with search engines anyone doing a quick scroll through the various article in an article directory would read the first 2 words and know that my article is on article marketing.

They don't have to read the full headline and they also don't have to work out a cryptic headline that could be vague and miss leading.

It's the same idea as most sales letter online. They may begins with a question like "Are you overweight?" if I'm overweight and looking for a solution I'll probably read it if not I'll just move on the next thing.

The thing you need to remember is that not everyone's going to read your article but if you focus it toward your target market you'll read the right people reading it.

Now back to first part of my question. How do you put the odds in your favor?

How? Do a keyword search for what people in your target market are looking for in the search engines. Are they looking for "How to" information or "Tips"?

Find out what they're looking for and then just give it to them. For example if I was doing another article on "Article Marketing" I could write an article headline like "Article Marketing -- How to write a great article that gets passed around."

Remember "how to" and "tips" are what people want the most readers are looking for help on how to do something or are looking for tips or advice to do something faster or cheaper.

Then when you have a rough guide line of an article title go to (www.aminstitute.com/headline/) and use their free tool to analyze your headline.

This simple tool give you a score for how good your headline is (the higher the number the stronger the headline.)

You'll be amazed at the results you can get just from changing your words around or putting in a new word here or there.
Finally,

All this may sound a pain to do but when you consider that this article is going to be online for years to come sending traffic to your site you can see it worth doing well. Plus once you send that article out there there's no way you can get that article back. If it's got a lousy headline it's always going to have a lousy headline.

So your lesson for the day...Be kind to your articles and send them out into cyber space with a headline they can be proud of!<bio>For some of the best article headlines visit www.ItWasSoEasy.com and see what other people are doing with their articles.
You have opened a new restaurant, and things are working out great. You are thinking that the world is good, and customers kept pouring in, customers that are more than happy to unload their extra money on the foods you serve. Then all of a sudden you receive a phone call from an irritated customer telling you what a lousy restaurant you operate. Your first reaction is to be become defensive and support your business' name. Then all of sudden, you are deep in arguments, and the two of you are cursing each other. Soon, that belligerent customer will tell more people who will tell more people who will tell their friends that you operate a lousy restaurant. And you lose money and customers. Over what? Over one situation that if handled carefully and skillfully could have been prevented from blowing out of proportion.

Although this can happen to any business, such incidents can be prevented from becoming a big deal. Managing customer complaints do not have to be that messy. Instead, it should be met as a challenge to turn an otherwise negative situation into something positive that can further promote your business. How? Through an excellent customer service and the knowledge of B.L.A.S.T. This skill should be passed to the employees so that they can handle customer complaints properly. B.L.A.S.T. is the contraction of Believe, Listen, Apologize, Satisfy, and Thank. It does not sound too hard to do, but it can mean the whole world to any business.

BELIEVE

It is imperative that you appreciate that customers believe that your business has aggrieved them. They might lie about it as it is a possibility, but it does not mean that you have to question them immediately. This is the keystone of managing customer complaints.

LISTEN

Although it is every man's instinct to defend themselves when cornered or confronted, but in businesses, this instinct should not rule you. Instead, stop and listen to the complaint given by the customer. Do not fight back. Draw in a deep breath, relax and listen. Although the customer might be belligerent and demanding, it is important that you stay level headed and calm. When he is done voicing out his complaints, repeat to him gently and in an accommodating voice what the problem was. You will convey to the complaining customer that you understood the problem and listened to them.

APOLOGIZE

Say you are sorry even if you know you did not do anything wrong because from your customers' point of view, they have a justifiable complaint, and they are expecting you to apologize.

Know that a simple and genuine apology can dispel any anger and frustration the customer might be experiencing. But if food poisoning is an issue, it is wiser to refer to the company's course of action when such an event occurs. Never apologize as it will mean that you are accepting guilt over the incident.

SATISFY

It is also important that you satisfy your customer and try to make things right. Make the right decision, but give them the chance to feel important and that they are in control of the situation. Too often you will notice that they will ask that the problem be resolved on their next trip to your business.

THANK

Always thank your customer; for calling, for complaining, for pointing out something that your business need to improve on, and for giving you the opportunity to improve your business more. Invite them back to your establishment. You can give them an unexpected gesture like an extra dish to show them that you care.

Remember, a negative attitude towards a negative situation begets a negative response. Instead, learn the trick of turning any negative situation into your advantage. <bio>Steven Taylor is a Marketing Consultant to http://www.Retronix.com - one of the most innovative and effective suppliers to the electronics and semiconductor industries.
Ever been fired and it was a complete surprise? If you have, it shouldn't have been.

You missed the cues. Whether you created it or the company decided it, you lost control of your career. Frequently those two are intertwined, and if you don't dissect the experience, you may recreate it.

A Gallup poll found that 77% of Americans hate their jobs. To me, that's not a surprising discovery because most people, before they begin their job hunt, don't do the examination to learn what their perfect job is. And after a few years -- or sooner =96 disillusion and distaste set in. This, combined with fear of change, creates what they wanted: to be outta that lousy place. In other words, if you don't tune in, you'll tune out, and then you'll be gone.

Do you dread Monday mornings? Do you frequently disappear into your office grumbling about your stupid boss? If you've lost respect and enthusiasm for your company, your attitude is going downhill fast. Next you don't care about your performance and you start slacking, rationalizing with "I don't care." Because you don't. You start doing the minimum just to get by.

If you don't notice what's happening, over time, your company will. So the constant refrain of "I hate my job" - sung to anyone who will listen - is where bells should start going off.

If the fun has stopped, it's time to act. And if you change jobs, you need to go to a new job, not away from your old one. When your attitude is sour and you're desperate to leave, you lose your objectivity and jump, and risk going from the frying pan into the fire.

Shortly after the quality of your work has dropped, you're called into your boss's office for a performance chat. If you've done some introspection, you can have a heart to heart: you need more challenge or there's an aspect of your job that's been giving you difficulty. Maybe you're having family or personal problems that are siphoning off your mental energy. But if all you do is listen, leave, and silently attack him, your days are numbered.

It happens over months, not weeks. Your attitude gradually exacerbates your situation causing you to continue the downward spiral. Management becomes terse with you. Casual conversation ceases, and their smiles are fewer. The new project that should have gone to you is given to someone else or your bonus is withdrawn. Your boss seems nitpicky. Maybe you've become invisible. You're stressed, and it's affecting your life outside of work.

Any scenario can contribute to this: you've outgrown your job, you're tired of the commute, you feel underpaid, management has changed and philosophies of work differ, or you've become tired of the existing management style =96 who knows what the reason is, but you'd better figure it out and decide what steps you're going to take to rectify the situation before it's decided for you.

How do people miss this? Not everyone does. Millions of people hate their job. If it doesn't compromise your performance and you hide your distaste from those who work there, the only repercussions are to your health for lying to yourself and your fellow employees.

What keeps people from changing is usually fear of change. Change is an anathema to most people, "The devil you know is better than the devil you don't." What if you change jobs and the new one is worse? What if you're more unhappy than you are now?

Finding your perfect job means taking control of your career. That means being aware of what you're creating. When you're aware, you can discover why you feel that way and what steps you want to take to eliminate it. In addition to that, you avoid actualizing those "next job" fears. But if you hate your job, ignore the signs, and stuff everything, all you're creating is sudden unemployment and a lousy next job. <bio>Prior to starting, VisionQuest, Judi Perkins was a search consultant for 25 years in both the contingency and retained markets, including a short stint in the temporary and local permanent placement markets.
We hear a lot about "Web 2.0and#8243; these days. It sounds neat and it's trendy to talk about blogging and social media. But does it really affect our businesses? Is Web 2.0 just for kids and tech-hipsters or is it something we business owners should use to help promote our businesses?

I can't tell you if Web 2.0 is right for your business but I can tell you it's something to be aware of Ignoring it means ignoring a possible tool that could be valuable in helping you get more customers.

So, to help you get started in thinking about Web 2.0 for your business, here are some things for you to consider.

1. Have a plan.

Don't dive in just because it's cool or because you read an article about it. Be clear about what you're trying to accomplish, how much you're willing to invest and what time frame you are working on. Like any aspect of your business - plan ahead.

2. Make sure your target audience is online.

Web 2.0 tools are fun but useless if the people who see your stuff don't want what you offer. Or if they don't look to the Web for information to help them buy what you sell, then your efforts will be less effective. Like any marketing channel, it only works if your prospective customers are there to see (or hear) your message and they are receptive to it.

3. Create good content.

Web 2.0 is the social web but it's still content-driven. Lousy content leads to lousy marketing, no matter how flashy it is. Make your content relevant, interesting and real. Put yourself in your customer's shoes and answer their questions with your content.

4. Don't sell.

Help, inform, educate but do not sell. Web 2.0 is all about people connecting by helping each other. No salesman allowed! Think education, not advertising. Deliver useful, nuts and bolts stuff or honest opinions they can believe. That's how you build credibility and trust that lead to new customer relationships.

5. Start with a free hosted blog.

www.Wordpress.com and http://www.Blogger.com both have very useful and simple blogs you can setup for free. Use them to start blogging and get a feel for how it works and how people use Web 2.0. Dip your toe in the water before diving in.

6. Talk to kids

Chat with some kids (ages 8 to 18) and find out how they use the web. They are the trend-setters. What they're doing now, the rest of us will be doing soon. Learn what they do and why. This helps you understand the web from a different perspective.

7. Do it yourself.

Web 2.0 is about being real. It's real people connecting with each other. It's okay to hire a pro to advise you. But to keep it genuine, make sure you or your employees create the content and do the work. Otherwise people will know you're faking it.

8. Buy a camcorder and start shooting

Go to Best Buy or Radio Shack and buy an inexpensive camcorder, tripod and lapel microphone. Buy 20-30 tapes too. Then take a weekend and shoot film. Practice, practice, practice. Get comfortable being on camera so you're not nervous or dorky. Then, write a funny or useful how-to sketch and film it. Use Microsoft MovieMaker to edit and then upload to http://YouTube.com.

9. Buy an inexpensive audio recorder

MusicBarn.com has a package that includes M-Audio's MobilePre USB recording interface. Add a microphone and you have a high quality setup to record podcasts and MP3 audio files whenever you want. Then buy NGWave sound editing software to make it sound professional and you're in business.

10. Surf 'till it Hurts

Surf blogs, YouTube, Google Videos, http://Del.icio.us, Digg, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Technorati and other social media websites. Get a feel for how they work and who goes there. Become part of some social media communities. Make new friends online. Immerse yourself in the Web 2.0 culture so you know how it works and if it might fit your marketing plans. <bio>Kevin Stirtz helps businesses get more customers without spending a fortune.
It's one of those days. You make a passionate speech. Then, your mood is dashed as the audience lobs contradiction and rebuttal. You walk away dejected.

Hours later the perfect counter-reply pops into your brain. You groan. Why in the world didn't you think of that earlier??? You could just kick yourself in the butt.

Stop for a moment, and consider how many times this happened to you. Once? Twice? A dozen times?

People throw us zingers everyday. We deflate, especially when we fail to come up with a PROMPT defense.

Consider the following nasties that wreck our day:

"You're late again. You don't love me."

"That's lousy work; you're no good."

"Why are all you religious people so narrow minded?"

"If you love me you'll have sex with me. Since you refuse, you don't love me."

Don't you wish you had the perfect answers to these seemingly daunting questions?

As you read this and recall the countless frustrations you've faced, you naturally begin to wonder why there are some special people who always come up with the right answers. You've met them. The perfect debaters. The unstoppable negotiators. The superb orators.

Pocket that frown. You too can be an Aristotle . It just takes deploying the right tools. With proper semantic implements, you CAN be a master negotiator. You CAN manhandle arguments with ease. No longer will you say, "I wish I said xxxx when she told me that!"

The Sidewinder Method to countering arguments: THE PRINCIPLE OF SPECIFICITY

An argument, retort or remark can always be broken down into its constituent parts. By examining the innards of any statement, we often can identify logical lapses, semantic ambiguities and rational failures. This makes a statement VULNERABLE to counter attack.

Now, pause, take a deep breath , and etch this phrase into your brain:

"HOW SPECIFICALLY DOES...."

This is your first line of defense to ANY attack thrown your way. With such deft counter strike, you force the antagonist to examine his own statement. If his retorts are based on shaky evidence, he will see it almost instantly. Wait for his answer. Listen well. Then fire volley after volley of "How specifically does xxx " to each response. A chain of evidence will be needed to support his remarks. Without evidence, he will yield the high ground.

Why does the line "HOW SPECIFICALLY DOES..." work so well? It's because most people open their mouths without thinking! They say meaningless things that can be ripped to shreds after close scrutiny.

I urge you: have people back up their statements with concrete evidence. Questions of specificity unearth the evidence... or lack of it. This is your first step to achieving the skill of Objection Mastery.

Theory class over. Let's see some examples.

She says to you: You're late again. You don't love me. Ooohh nasty. How do you counter this with questions of specificity?

Tell her: "HOW SPECIFICALLY DOES MY BEING LATE INDICATE THAT I DON'T LOVE YOU?"

She says, "It means you don't care."

Tell her, "How, precisely do you know I don't care for you? My tardiness has good reason. I was tardy because I went out of my way to get you four dozen blue roses at a spot just out of town. I also made sure the kids were properly left with a responsible guardian so we won't have to worry about them tonight. And most importantly, I wanted to ensure that the restaurant we are going to is ready for us. That's why I was late. I wanted our evening to be perfect."

Let's try the other venomous barb now.

Your colleague says: That's lousy work; you're no good.

So you smile and firmly ask, " What precisely is the 'lousy' work you pertain to?"

He says, "You submitted the plan to Marketing for execution without consulting me. That's sloppy and in violation of SOP"

So you hold your breath and say, "How specifically, is being proactive in violation of SOP and sloppy work? I noticed you were busy with the accounting and had no time to concern yourself with branding issues. I simply offloaded tasks that would have rattled you and diminished your focus on your more crucial assignment."

He says, "I still should have been consulted. I want my inputs in whatever the team does. "

You say, "That's precisely why we are talking right now. Your inputs will always be welcome. Marketing can always modify their agenda since they're still in the process of integrating the programs."

He says, "I still feel left out. I don't like it."

You say, "How precisely are you left out? If it's influencing the final campaign, don't worry: you are the program manager. You will have a say even during final phase execution. The boss knows that we equally share the glory of the project's success. And the team looks up to you as their mentor. Surely you've noticed the pile of progress reports already in you inbox."

He says "Well, ok.... now that you put it that way, I gues you did a fine job"

Now let's try one of those lines we hear in teenybopper movies: "If you love me you'll have sex with me. Since you refuse, you don't love me."

Difficult to counter? Definitely not, with your standard phrase!!

Say, "HOW SPECIFICALLY does my desire not to have sex right now mean that I don't love you? You do realize that I love you so much which is why I want us to be perfectly prepared for all complications. I love you so much that I want to minimize the risk of unexpected childbirth. This is how much I love you."

So there you have it. The first technique to masterful objection mastery. Let's not put good theory to waste, shall we? Go grab a partner and practice. Have her throw argumentative remarks at you. Think briefly then counter with Questions of Specificity. See how long they can hold up. Just say "How specifically does..."

Smile and watch them fold. <bio>A master of manifestation to his associates, Joseph R.
As a web designer, you should design your websites to give your visitors the greatest ease of use, the best impression and most important of all a welcoming experience.

It doesn't matter if you had the greatest product in the whole world -- if your website is poorly done you won't be able to sell even one copy of it because visitors will be driven off your website by the lousy design.

When I'm talking about a andquot;good designandquot;, I'm not only talking about a good graphical design.

A professional web design will be able to point out that there are many components which contribute to a good website design -- accessibility design, interface or layout design, user experience design and of course the most straightforward, which is graphic design.

Hence, I have highlighted some features of the worst web designs I've come across. Hopefully, you will be able to compare that against your own site as a checklist and if anything on your site fits the criteria, you should know it's high time to take serious action!

1) Background music

Unless you are running a site which promotes a band, a CD or anything related to music, I would really advise you to stay away from putting looping background music onto your site.

It might sound pleasant to you at first, but imagine if you ran a big site with hundreds of pages and everytime a visitor browses to another page on your site, the background music starts playing again.

If I were your visitor, I'd just turn off my speakers or leave your site. Moreover, they just add to the visitors burden when viewing your site -- users on dial up connections will have to wait longer just to view your site as it is meant to be viewed. <bio>Find out how you can build a large list very fast: <a href="http://www.7dollarsecrets.com/?=geri_mason@ntlworld.com" >http://www.7dollarsecrets.com/?=geri_mason@ntlworld.com </bio>

To briefly describe what a retractable cover is I will try to give you a rough idea. The tonneau itself is made from aluminum panels, which in this case are laminated with a water resistant padded polymer. It has sort of a leather look. The frame is powder coated aluminum. The cover slides in tracks which extend from front to back along your truck bed rails. It rolls up into a canister which is located at the front of your truck box, below the cab rear window. This particular model has the option of stopping every 12 inches along its route so you don't have to open or close the cover all the way. Water is directed from the cover to the side rails and through drain hoses to the canister and then through drain hose out through small holes in plugs in your truck box.

This cover has been purchase many times and most people loved what they received. Some say it was easy to install others say, actually most said the instructions sucked. Some give advice to read the instructions all the way through, then read them again, while others say make sure you have all the parts then throw the instructions away so you don't get confused. All in all, customers for this cover did the installation themselves and were rewarded with many compliments for a great looking tonneau cover.

If you have a bed liner you will probably have to do some modifications to install this cover. Usually where the canister sits is a likely place for changes to your bed liner. From what I read I would get some help installing the cover so you don't end up scratching your truck and just to make the installation a whole lot easier. I have read, a middle age woman installed it herself with little problem. I guess being mechanically incline will help.

A lot of people say their truck bed stays dry while other complained about water getting in between the tailgate and the cover. Just off the top of my head, maybe some extra stick-on weather stripping may help as it does on some other tonneau covers.

Even with lousy directions and water leakage this cover has been highly regarded for its operation and looks.

The Jackrabbit tonneau cover by Pace Edwards is a retractable tonneau or as some may call a roll top.
A discussion of how the amount of bandwidth and disk space on your site can affect your SEO efforts and how to calculate how much you need.

One important aspect of search engine optimization is functionality and of course that means that your site must always be up and running. This means choosing a host that will provide you with all of the web space that you will need to keep all of the features that you have on your site running twenty four hours a day and seven days a week.

The best web hosting services will offer at least 20-80GB of disk space for a regular account and more for premium or advanced accounts. You know you are dealing with a lousy web hosting company if they offer less disk space than that as it is an obvious ploy to cheat you. In fact there are also many companies offering just 1GB for the same price you would pay for a site with 80GB. The best way to avoid being fooled like this is to check the comparison charts that are so often a part of these sites. If you don't compare the features before buying a web hosting service, you could get ripped off (as well as end up with a site that may be down.)

When looking for a good web host keep in mind the bandwidth size you will need as well. To find the perfect bandwidth for you need to multiply the size of each page that your site will need (an estimation will do) times the number of page views you are expecting to get a month. This way you calculate the actual bandwidth that will be consumed by your online business and make the correct choice when it comes to purchasing a website.

Never underestimate the importance of these two features as they become crucial factors in keeping your website available to your customers, especially if you become a success and your website becomes very busy! <bio>Chris Angus is a SEO and Website Promoter, he can be contacted at sales(at)brilliantseo.com http://www.herringshoes.co.uk http://www.chooseinsurance.co.uk http://www.crcwritingservices.com </bio>

Going away to college is a huge thing for students at first. It is completely foreign to most and you never know what you're going to expect. College students have new classes, a new area to live, new people to meet and much more. The thing that always worries college students is who their college roommate will be. Since most college students share a dorm, they never know who they will have to live with or what to expect from the person. There is nothing worse than having to live with a roommate who you cannot stand. Although this is a crappy situation to be in, there are many ways to try and help the two of you get along. Are you in this situation and need some ideas? Find out how you can get along with your college roommate below:

Having people to your dorm -- Often college students like to have their friends over to their dorm. If the other roommate isn't a fan of your friends, this can be an even worse situation. If the two of you guys don't like each others friends, set certain times. Let one another know that you're going to have friends over and be courteous of each other. First ask if it's okay and not tell them you're going to. You're roommate may have some studying to do and this may make them even more angry. So just simply ask!

Time to study -- If you're going to have a huge test coming up let the other roommate know about it. If you don't let them know, they won't try and be courteous of you. Whenever it's study time say there are no friends of either person allowed. This will make studying a lot easier and less reasons to complain about one another.

Partying -- Partying always seems to be the biggest issue among roommates. One loves to party and the other is not a fan at all. This can be both really annoying on both sides. If you like to party, try and go to your friend's dorm rooms instead. Avoid going to yours and making your roommate upset. Also, if you like to go out and party either stay at the friend's dorm room or come home at a decent hour. Often when students go out to party they come home late and wake up their roommate. Be thoughtful of others and set a time you will be back or stay at your friends.

Why you don't get along -- Try to figure out why the two of you don't get along. Try to talk one on one and tell each other what annoys you so much about each other. Tell each other both what they're doing wrong. They will never know unless you tell them.

Although most roommates get along, there are some that just don't. If you are someone who doesn't get along with your roommate try to consider some of these points above. Don't let your college years be miserable just because your roommate. Neither of you want to have a lousy time so have the both of you try and work things out!<bio>Find your first credit card and more of Tom's work at FINDcollegecards.</bio>

Finding good relationship problems advice can be very difficult. It is not that there isn't enough information. Almost everyone and their mother have relationship advice. If you tell someone, even a stranger on the street, that you are having trouble with a relationship, they will probably have something to say. Nevertheless, most advice for relationship problems is based on biases alone. Anyone you ask will most likely try to apply the lessons from their own relationship problems to yours. These lessons may be appropriate, but then again they may not be. Whether you are worried about breaking up relationship ties, or dealing with relationship problems for an ongoing relationship, it is always a headache if you can't figure out what to do.

There is no point in getting relationship problem advice from a physician either. Even psychiatrists give lousy love advice most of the time. They say that they are qualified to give relationship problems advice, but in my experience they are often not good at this particular area. Don't get me wrong -- if your relationship is massively flawed and there is something psychotic about your partner, a psychiatrist will give you the right relationship problems advice -- get out of it! Nevertheless, psychiatrists make terrible romantic partners. As such, how can you consider them fit to give relationship problems advice?

It has always seemed to me that the only way to get dependable relationship problems advice is to find a best friend who knows all about those things. Find someone with words of wisdom for dating help, go out for a few drinks with him whenever you are having relationship troubles, and trust his word implicitly. Friends like this are hard to find, and their skills at giving relationship problems advice should be fully exploited.

I get most of my relationship problem advice from my best friend. It is pretty odd because he has never been in a relationship himself. He's actually not really been interested in dating at all, spending most of his time in more intellectual pursuits. Nevertheless, he gives the best relationship problems advice that you have ever heard. Maybe it is because he is looking at it from an outsiders perspective, but I swear that his advice is better than any advice column you could ever read! Getting romance advice from someone who has never been in, nor even desired, a romance is a little bit weird, but it has begun to feel totally natural to me. <bio>Ann Merier writes articles about health and family Issues. http://foammattress.4houseandgarden.com/ http://parentingtips.ultimatehealthinfo.com http://ultimatehealthinfo.com </bio>

It is a fact that Google is the craze right now, but keep in mind the other search engines. I recollect when it was time Yahoo was the top search engine and before that it was Altavista on top. I wonder where that has gone. It is bizarre to know that Yahoo search engine has been completely dominated by other engines. This is not the complete truth. Due to metasearch engines, the Yahoo engine is still significant. Many use this metasearch tools, such as dogpile.

If you wish your site to rank high it should be objectionable to rank high wit yahoo or any other search engine. Tools exist on the Yahoo engine to enhance the ranking of your website and if you happen to run a web based bsiness, they can be of high amount of assistance to make your ratings rise higher like a bird!

Yahoo search engine is not my personal choice when compared to Google. I have reasons for this choice.I found this site very helpful http://www.commcloset.com. Google sorts out spam and other junk in an efficient manner and provides you quality hits as compared to Yahoo search engine. Its better to avoid Yahoo search engine if you wish not to browse through a host of spam. No one has time to waste on junk. This is the reason why Google is doing better than Yahoo.

I have even heard somewhere that Yahoo search engine actually allows people to pay to increase their rating on the site. This is not advertising I am referring to. Google has them and so does every other engine, its not a big deal. You can tell by the way the ads are put up and some of them might be of help to you. But if Yahoo is the search engine of your choice then it becomes an entirely different issue.

You will have to wade your way through a whole lot of paid ads that are intelligently mixed with the valid results from the search you requested. Although other services Yahoo offers are good, for instance, Yahoo maps is the best direction service as per my opinion, yet when it comes to a search engine they are lousy at it and it is only the search engine that I am concerned about. <bio>Ron Electrick loves working with the following sites: http://www.informationinquiry.com http://www.sciencecanbefun.com </bio>

A discussion of splash pages and how they are not a design element that supports a profitable search engine optimization strategy.

One of the hottest web site design crazes on the Internet are "splash pages." A splash page is a web page that is completely or partly animated. You could think of it as being an animated book cover. These pages can consist of just a few words, just a graphic, a company's logo and also many shifting images. Music is also usually a component of a well-designed splash page.

Usually your user has to do a lot of clicking in order to get through the "splash page" process. If you are on a web site that starts with a long introduction and there is a link called Skip Intro on it then you have encountered a true blue splash page.

There is some debate about whether or not splash pages are a good idea. It is good if you are a bigger company that needs to branded then the addition of an introductory splash page to your site is not necessarily going to hurt your business. However if your site is not a household name it is probably best to stay away from splash pages. Splash pages displace the first page (which contains your real content) and the search engine spiders then read these flashy intro pages as blank space.

The problem is that splash pages lack content that can indexed, contain zero links, usually and often display a "redirect" to the real home page. Search engines algorithms think you are trying to trick them if they see a redirect on what is supposed to be a home page. The bottom line is that you must avoid redirects if you are serious about being found by search engines. An introductory splash page is not recommended for businesses that are not known as not only can they sabotage your SEO efforts but often they are quite expensive to be designed too. <bio>Christopher Angus is a SEO and Website Marketer.
Sometimes it's good to have a casual day, you know? For that matter, it doesn't hurt to even take a day off once in a while.

I work really hard at building my business and keeping it in order. Honestly, I almost never take a day entirely off.

But you know what? I don't mind (most of the time) because I love what I do (again, most of the time).

Sure any form of work gets lame at times. That's to be expected.

I just couldn't imagine *choosing* a business that I didn't really like. The world is full of J-O-Bs that are just a total drag. Trust me; I've had lots of em' over the years. But it makes no sense to me at all to invest my money and time building an enterprise unless it's something that I truly, totally, and completely want to do.

Maybe you still have a part-time of full-time job, and are just working your net marketing business on the side for now. If so, I commend you for having the dedication to come home after a full day, fire up the computer, and take care of business.

The BIG question here, is do you like all of this internetmarketing stuff? Are you having any fun with this whole thing?

This might sound silly. But in reality it's one of the most important things you can ask yourself.

Why? Because this business is HARD.

Net marketing is a really lousy way to make quick cash. It just doesn't happen like that. Most people see a profit only after a tremendous amount of hard work and a lot of time and money invested.

But the workload is more than worth it to those of us who love this business.

Naturally I wouldn't sit at my PC for 8 to 10 hours each day if I weren't making a living from this, but I'd probably do it for at least a couple of hours even if I weren't earning a dime. It's wierd I know, but what can I say? I really, really like doing this stuff.

If you don't derive at least some pleasure form the day-to-day activities that are involved in building and running your net marketing business, let me offer you a most profound piece of advice.

RUN! GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!

I'm serious. There are easier ways to make a buck.

On the other hand if you love this stuff the way I do, you most likey couldn't be dragged kicking and screaming out of this line of work. If so, then kudos to you my friend.

Glad to have ya on board. :o) About The Author: Tim Whiston has enjoyed network marketing on the world wide web since April of 2003.
If you've been on the hunt for a new credit card, you've might have come across a type of card that might peak your interest. What might that credit card be, you might ask? The card I'm talking about would be a cash back credit card. If you're shaking your head yes to this card and you want to know more, you came to the right informative article, if not, I'll give you a quick rundown on how the card works.

A cash back card is like any other credit card but imagine getting a sale price on anything and everything you purchase. Does it sound too good to be true? Well, it's not! This type of card will generally have a set limit on how much you'll get back every time you swipe your card. Depending on the card company, this will all depend how much you get back. Some cards will give you as much as twenty percent back on particular purchases.

Now, that you know how the card works, you will now want to know what you have to look out for when you apply for the card. A lot of credit companies like to hide fees or restrictions that you won't know about until you actually get the card and you start using it.

A cap limit -- The cap limit is a limit the companies will place on your card and this means that you will only be able to get so much back. So, if the credit card company says you can only get $500 back in rebates in the year, you can only get that amount back. Once you reach that amount, you won't be able to get anymore back for the rest of the year. Make sure that you read the terms and conditions when you apply.

Spend so much -- Some companies will make you spend so much in the year before you actually see the full effect. Believe it or not, there are some cards out there that will make you spend $5,000 before you see your 5% cash back. In the meantime, you'll only get a lousy 0.0001% back. This is important to look out for because this is the whole reason you'll be getting a card in the first place.

The actual number -- When you apply for a card, you'll probably see what you're going to get back like 5%, etc. Make that when you apply that you check and see if that is an introductory rate or it's a rate that's only for particular cards. Sometimes people will find themselves applying for the card just because of the number. If the number has an asterisk next to it, chances are it will have some restrictions. Just make sure that you keep your eyes peeled for this.

As long as you read the terms and conditions for all the cards you look at, you will have no problems finding the perfect card. There are a lot of cash back credit cards out there; it just takes a little time to find the perfect one.<bio>Get cash back with cash back credit and find more of Tom's work at FINDcashbackcards.</bio>

What kind of pet you are looking for? Have you ever thought about a gecko? You will find different kind of geckos but there is only one which is perfect as a house pet.

If you have seen pictures of leopard geckos, you are probably aware of what beautiful reptiles they are. Because of the work of breeders, leopard geckos come in an astonishing array of colours and patterns, from tangerine orange all the way to black and white striped, and many of these are quite striking creatures. I have been breeding reptiles for years and years now, and let me tell you: leopard geckos are some of my very favourite. This is not just because of their striking appearance, however. It is because they make such great pets.

Many people complain that reptiles are lousy pets. They feel that snakes and lizards are bad tempered, unaffectionate, dull, and boring company. For many of these creatures, this is true. They are simply not very easy to socialize, and are at best indifferent to humans. But the leopard gecko is different. Leopard geckos, if they are brought up among humans for their whole lives, are friendly, affectionate creatures who are really quite easy to get along with for anyone. They are pretty easy to care for as long as you remember a few basic facts about them. All leopard geckos must receive adequate, but not excessive warmth. Leopard geckos also must be fed daily with insects, and the like, and have enough space to move around. Finally, leopard geckos must not be left all by themselves. They technically can survive by themselves, but as a leopard gecko breeder, I can tell you that they are much happier when they have company. Really, leopard geckos do best when raised in groups of two or more, but even human companionship will help keep your pet happy. And a happy pet is a healthy pet.

If you are thinking of getting leopard geckos, there are a few things that you must consider first. They are not cute in the traditional sense, and so if your idea of a perfect pet is something soft that you can pet at your convenience, then the leopard gecko is right out. Although they are fairly affectionate lizards, if you are looking for some creature that will be overjoyed every single time that you enter the room, ditch the leopard geckos in favour of a nice golden retriever. But, if you are a lizard person, you probably already know it. If your idea of a nice pet is an interesting pet, then leopard geckos might be just the thing for you. I hope you already made your choice; you will never find a friendlier house pet than a gecko. <bio>More from this author at: http://www.pets-mag.com </bio>

Insurance business has developed and prospered by leaps and bounds in the last few decades. This has not only made their transactions big but have also made them a little more complicated with new insurance policies being launched every day. There are specific business requirement for insurance companies. So, software engineers have produced a number of software for insurance companies.

Any good accounting software in this category packs some startling features that are almost always needed by the companies. These features are easy to use and work much like the manual of a healthcare practitioner's manual accounting system.

The accounting programs include open item accounting, which is helpful in matching payments made to individual charges. This way one is always aware about what has been paid to whom and what still remains to be paid and to whom.

With these software one thing that always needs to be kept in mind is the customer service and support because most of the experts in this area are of the opinion that if the technical support is not at hand to deal with the question that arise when it is put to process large amounts of data, it is likely to create quite a bit of confusion. So, when you are going for an accounting software for insurance business, lay emphasis on the post-sale technical support available.

Ready technical support should be available online or on phone so that not much time is lost troubleshooting. You might have to shell out a little more for guarantee and technical support. Do not flinch from doing that because it will prove well worth it in due course of time. Getting software with lousy technical support would harm your business instead of smoothening the operations. So, be cautious.

Always keep in mind that insurance business is a data intensive business, which means that you need a software that is very accurate and does not lose on speed when processing heavy data. There are various software that can achieve both speed and accuracy. So, if you could not find one soon enough, look around some more. You need not settle for anything less than what you want. <bio>The author writes about a number of different topics.
