A car insurance directory is a great resource to the British motorists looking for car insurance protection that offers high value and great benefits as well as reasonable and affordable premiums. A car insurance directory is a list of insurance brokers or agents in the business of providing coverage for motorists.

A good car insurance directory may have hundreds, or even thousands of broker listings. Brokers are usually listed by location so customers know where to find them. Some broker directories list general brokers or brokers offering a variety of insurance protections. Others are more specific directories that list brokers offering services to of a niche nature. Regardless of the content, a customer should be able to look through a directory and clearly tell what type of service provider each broker is.

Along with offering an organized list of insurance services and providers, a car insurance directory can also offer peace of mind to motorists. Insurance brokers in the UK have been regulated for a few years. This means that brokers must follow established policies and procedures outlined by the Financial Services Administration (FSA). Thus, to be listed in a credible directory, an insurance broker must have been approved by the FSA based on its ability to meet the prescribed standards.

Along with the FSA, trade associations like BIBA and IIB, also have strong standards and requirements for member brokers. Therefore, directories often note that providers included in the directory are members of a particular trade associate, and have been approved by the FSA. The benefit to customers of the regulations for brokers is the security that they are required to uphold specific ethical and business practice standards designed to protect consumers.

As well as listing general brokers or insurance agents, some niche directories list insurers by target market or niche coverage products. For instance, some directories list available insurers for young drivers, students, women, business users, and the like. Other car insurance directory listings provide information about coverage for taxis, classic cars, kit cars, 4X4 vehicles, customer cars, or other unique autos.

The main benefit of a car insurance directory is the ability for a motorist to quickly find access to a broker, insurance agents or service provider that has the type of coverage desired. By quickly finding the names and location of certain types of car insurance providers, customers can efficiently search quotes to learn about benefits and costs available. Without using a car insurance directory, the process of searching through brokers, insurance agents and service providers can be extremely exhausting and tedious. Given that motorists want peace of mind from their car insurance, a stressful search for the right coverage and costs is contradictory to reaching that goal.

While there are several print directories, the growth of the internet has helped lead to a large collection of online car insurance directories. One of the advantages with an online car insurance directory is that it is often searchable. This enables customers to narrow their search to providers with certain benefits. Additionally, online directories are very easy to sort through. <bio>Jason Hulott is Business Development Director of Protection Insurance (http://www.protection-insurance.com), an internet based insurance business dedicated to getting consumers the best rates and the best products.
Most people believe that if they hire a real estate broker, then only that broker will help them find a buyer. In many cases, however, this is not true. Most brokers have access to multiple listing services, which allow a broker to list the concerned real estate with many brokers with the understanding that if another broker locates a suitable buyer for the first broker's client, then the two brokers will share the commission. This is good for brokers because they can earn money from buyers who may not be looking for the type of property their own clients are selling; it is good for sellers because for the same price they can take advantage of the efforts of many brokers instead of just one; and it is good for buyers because many brokers representing many different sellers will be looking for them.

Brokers perform two different functions =96 the "listing broker" represents the seller, and the "showing broker" shows the real estate to potential buyers. Although most people assume that these two functions are carried out by the same person with respect to a particular piece of real estate, with multiple listing services this isn't necessarily the case. In many cases the showing broker has received authorization to show the house from the listing broker. This is important because although the buyer may assume that the showing broker represents him, in fact the showing broker represents the seller's interests, not his. In response to this situation, and increasing number of potential buyers are concluding broker's contracts with their own brokers to make sure they are receiving (relatively) unbiased information about the real estate that is shown to them. If you are a buyer, it would certainly be a good idea to conclude such an arrangement. Although you will have to pay for it, consider how much money you have to lose by buying a house that you will later regret buying. Of course, this arrangement offers new opportunities for corruption as well =96 imagine a broker secretly representing buyer and seller at the same time and receiving commission from both!

DISCLAIMER: The foregoing is intended for reference purposes only and not as legal advice. <bio>"Real Estate Law in Plain English" is located at http://realpropertylaw.blogspot.com.
Many are hesitant to hire a mortgage broker to help them find the right lending firm. If you are going to apply for a home mortgage loan, you always have the option to do it yourself. This is all right as long as you clearly understand what you are getting yourself into. Most people who are having troubles with their mortgage are those who took the first loan arrangement presented to them without fully understanding its terms.

Although finding the right lender is a good learning experience, it can be tedious. You have to list down approved lenders and compare the rates they offer. Aside from that, you have to contact them personally and ask questions relating to the best loan for your current financial state. Finding the best is very challenging. If you want to take advantage of the Gilbert Homes for sale, you had better find one fast.

Hiring a mortgage broker has several advantages, which include the following:

1. They have access to a network of lenders. If you are going to look for lenders by yourself, you only have access to limited list. Thus, there is a greater chance that you will miss an opportunity of a better deal. Lenders provide brokers with information. Therefore, brokers can compare all information at hand.

2. They work to provide the best loan mortgage term for you. These brokers want to get good feedbacks from their clients. You can be sure that the mortgage plan they will provide is the one that suits your financial status. You only have to provide them with your current earning, assets, and financial obligations. They will base their judgment from the facts you provided to find the most suitable interest rates.

3. They can explain the terms to you thoroughly. Mortgage brokers are trained and they can explain to you information that you need to know about the terms of your mortgage. You can always ask the broker how the fixed rate or adjustable rate works. You can also seek his advice if you are unsure with your decision.

4. Hiring brokers can give you more savings. Although you are paying someone to do the search for you, you can actually save more. Finding the right lending firm is the best way to save money. You will be able to handle your monthly obligation with ease. Hiring a broker will also save you time and effort. You do not have to flip pages of the newspaper, or contact the lenders on your list to find out what their actual interest rates are.

5. Laws regulated the charges brokers give their clients. You do not have to worry about brokers overcharging you because of this. You can research about the right amount that you have to pay the brokers for the service they render.

Before you can check if you can avail that Gilbert Homes for sale, you have to find out how much you can spend on a house. To do this, you have to find the right lender with the best interest rate offered. Most of the time, a mortgage broker will help you find the best deal.<bio>Chris Turley is an expert and professional real estate agent that will help you to find the perfect home that better fits your needs.
There are different types of online discount stock brokers and also full service stock brokers. Discount brokers offer very limited services with no personal attention, usually just fast order execution at minimal costs. Don't expect too much help or assistance from them because you pay for the execution only.

If you need advice about which stocks to buy or when to buy, then you should go with a full service broker who gives you the personal attention you need. He will discuss trading strategies with you, make investment plans and execute the trades for you. You can learn a lot from an experienced stock broker who is active in the stock market for years or decades already.

Less than 30 years ago, there have only been full service brokers. Their extraordinary fees made their services available to wealthy stock investors only. These brokers controlled the market until the first discount brokers came in.

There have always been many investors who made their own research and knew what they want to buy or sell and didn't want to pay the high fees of the full service stock broker. The discount brokers became very popular quickly. With the upcoming computer technology and the emerging of the Internet, the online discount brokers took the market in storm.

While there have been some technical issues in the beginning where you still needed the phone quite often to call the broker, today trading via the Internet has become extremely fast, reliable and cheap. The most popular online stock brokers offer straight and easy software to execute the orders. Some brokers offer additional assistance upon request and at extra costs like assistance with the order execution by phone or access to detailed research material.

A third group of discount brokers has found a niche serving hyperactive private traders (day traders) or institutional traders. These so called "direct access brokers" offer advanced trading platforms where the trader can choose between dozens of order routing ways and order types just to save a few extra milliseconds in execution speed or to get a better price than the others. The software also provides real time quotes and charts with technical analysis at low monthly fees.

Online discount stock brokers will be here for a long time because there will always be demand for cheap brokers. Today, the Internet is full of information where investors can educate themselves. Full service brokers are only used by investors today who don't have the time to do their own research or to follow the quotes. <bio>David A.
Forex trading is one of the most lucrative segments in the business industry. It is not a wonder why people swarm to do commerce in forex market. One of the essential steps to take by potential traders is choosing their forex brokers. Broker can act on your behalf to carry out trading transactions however in certain cases there will limitations according to what has been agreed during your application.
It is important to choose the right forex brokers as they carry the potential risk of your investment while it incurs cost to your trading expense. There are few helpful criteria to consider in choosing your forex brokers.

In the past, some traders were victims of non-refunded accounts when many forex brokers went unsuccessful with their business operation. Hence, they started to implement strict laws in US and UK that governs the forex brokers. It is important to note that your preferred forex brokers should be regulated either by the CFTC or NFA in the US and FSA in the UK. These will ensure that you are dealing with legitimate brokers.

Know the trading platforms of the forex brokers. A recommended trading platform should show actual prices that you are able to trade. Avoid platforms that offer only indicative prices. As this will also contribute to your trade execution, it is therefore necessary to opt for platforms that you are comfortable to use with. Always prefer a platform that matches your particular needs.

There is a term commonly used in the forex arena known as spread. It refers to the difference between the amount you buy or sell a certain currencies at a specific point of time. As there is not central exchange market in forex, the spread will proportionally vary depending on your preferred forex brokers. Spread can be stretched into two amounts which is dependent if either it is daytime or nighttime. Spread can also vary accordingly to the level of trade. Ideal forex brokers should have a fixed spread.

It is also important to test the execution ability of the forex brokers. Know the speed of the broker's order execution and there is an automatic execution offer. Know also the loyalty of the brokers. Are they dealing with clients or do they trade also against their clients? The ideal scheme to know all answers is to set up a dummy account.

Ask about the leverage options of your forex brokers. Leverage, which is presented in ratio, will tell you the proportion between the total capital available for trading versus your actual capital. Remember that leverage plays a vital role in the forex trading as the price deviations are set in fractions of a cent. Aim for a forex brokers with flexibility in their leverage margin so as to allow you to opt the leverage that is suitable for you.

Choosing the right forex brokers is very crucial. They play an important role in determining the success of your forex venture or potential loss all your investments. So don't be a in rush and consider all the possible criteria when choosing your forex brokers.<bio>Sick of not being successful with forex brokers? A broker is a go-between that helps link a motorist or customer with an insurance provider and protection plan. Brokers offer benefits that are unique compared to individual insurance providers.

As brokers specialize in helping customers find the best insurance to meet their needs, they are often the best resource for discerning motorists. Car insurance brokers generally maintain relationships with a variety of insurance providers which gives them good knowledge of available products and benefits. They also have knowledge of benefit combinations, discount programs, and are often aware of the best available offers by companies that might not be communicated directly from the provider to the customer.

Along with their connection to various providers, many brokers are effective at helping their customers negotiate the best available offer. Additionally, good brokers are able to ask the right questions and get to know the specific needs of each customer. They are essentially advocates as well as service providers. Some brokers even assist customers with claims services or help when situations arise that require the customer to file a claim or seek a payout.

A convenience to car insurance customers is that car insurance broker directories are an effective to seek out the right broker. Some brokers offer general services and work with many brokers in a variety of protection areas. Other brokers are more niche market entities and focus on specific coverage areas, such as motor plans. Each broker offers a unique mix of benefits.

An added benefit to motorists when using car insurance brokers is peace of mind in knowing that car insurance brokers are heavily regulated. To be included in broker directories, the Financial Services Administration (FSA) requires that all brokers be approved by them. Brokers are also members of various trade associations. This combination of regulated and trade associations places strong expectations on brokers to require to specific standards. The purpose is to ensure ethical, fair, and open communication and interaction between brokers and customers.

There are hundreds of car insurance brokers in operation in the UK. Perhaps the best benefit a car insurance broker provides to its customers is instant access to quotes from multiple service providers. As most of the general and specialized brokers now have web sites, customers can easily gain information on what protections are available and at what price points. This instant access to insurance quotes is important for motorists in the fast pace business environment.

Car insurance brokers need to have a strong customer service orientation to appeal to the needs to the market. High value car insurance protection is important to the peace of mind of motorists. It is now just about protection the value or providing for repair of the automobile. Insurance protection is a security and safety net for many Brits. Motorists rely on the honest and ethical communication of brokers as well as the belief that claims will be covered without hassle if the need arises. <bio>Jason Hulott is Business Development Director of Protection Insurance (http://www.protection-insurance.com), an internet based insurance business dedicated to getting consumers the best rates and the best products.
It is your broker's job to compare best mortgage quotes on your behalf. However, it is important to understand that -- although they are obliged under the Financial Services Authority's regulations to procure the best deal for you -- they only have to compare the quotes that are available to them.

There are two types of mortgage broker. Some that deal with the 'whole of market', meaning they will compare best mortgage quotes across the entire market to find the cheapest one for you. These are independent brokers and will very often be able to get you the best deal, simply because they are working with a bigger range of products.

Other mortgage brokers are 'tied', meaning that they only work with one bank, building society or mortgage lender. Others, called multi-tied brokers, may choose from a 'panel' of a limited number of lenders. In both cases -- though obviously more so with the first -- you can only be offered a fraction of the full range of options that are out there.

One further thing that is worth noting is that FSA regulation allows some multi-tied mortgage brokers to call themselves 'whole of market', provided that they periodically check to see whether there are any competitive new deals around. Make sure you know what they can actually offer, because many of the best deals may be missed as they are only around for a very short time.

Mortgage brokers: set fees or commission basis?

How you pay your mortgage broker will depend partly on what they are offering -- and who they are arranging the mortgage with -- but there are two main ways: set fees and commission. Tied brokers will often be paid by commission.

Some brokers will also offer a combination of the two. Fee-based mortgage brokers have become much more popular in recent years. The FSA regulations mean that brokers have to be able to justify the advice they give you. If they are paid by fee, you are charged a one-off amount for their time and work -- sometimes an hourly rate but often simply a flat amount (perhaps a few hundred pounds, and certainly no more than 1% of the mortgage amount). This can usually be added to the mortgage itself. However, if they are paid by commission, you pay nothing up front and their fee comes from the mortgage company they arrange your deal with.

The attraction of fee-only brokers is that you know the advice they give you when they compare best mortgage quotes is impartial -- they cannot recommend a more expensive mortgage just because the commission will pay them well. However, if you trust the FSA to do its job, you may find the commission option is cheaper overall; you do not want to be paying fees you don't have to.

One further option you may wish to explore is finding a mortgage broker who receives commission on the mortgage but will accept a flat fee instead. They may be prepared to offset the commission against the fee, significantly reducing what you pay. Indeed, this actually raises the opportunity of you being paid for arranging the mortgage, if the commission is larger than the brokers fee.<bio>Steven Clarke -- Marketing Manager -- The Mortgage Broker -- Providing a mortgage comparison of the whole mortgage lender market to find you the best mortgage loan rates.
Many mortgage brokers add in fees to your mortgage loan that aren't completely necessary to process your loan. Sometimes, either the fee itself is not necessary or it can be too inflated. If you are educated about your mortgage loans and the fees involved, you may be able to negotiate for lower fees.

Here are some sample mortgage fees that you might find to be over inflated:

Processing fee - Not only does the mortgage broker receive a fee from the lender, but the borrower is also charged a fee for "processing" the loan. This fee usually cannot be avoided, but beware of brokers who charge more than $1000.00, as this is considered very excessive.

Real estate agent's administrative fee - Many real estate agencies have started charging a fee, around $200, to both buyer and seller. This is in addition to any real estate commission earned by the agents. Talk to your agent and see if you can have this fee removed.

Mortgage Origination Fee - The origination fee is basically what the broker charges for doing the loan, normally between 1-2% of the loan amount. This is a common fee for a broker's services, but unless you have a very complicated loan, paying 2% is too high.

These fees are approximate and based on the information available at the time this article was written. Talk to your broker about negotiating lower fees if you feel you are being overcharged for anything. You might be surprised how willing to work with you a mortgage broker can be if you are educated about your mortgage loan. It is also a good idea to compare different brokers and lenders. Ask for quotes from several different brokers and lenders. This will give you more leverage to negotiate lower fees.

Disclaimer: These recommendations are not personal financial advice. Contact your own financial consultant before acting on any information here. <bio>Click here to view a list of http://www.mortgagesanity.com/2007/01/29/13-junk-fees-your-mortgage-broker-might-be-adding-to-your-loan/ </bio>

A mortgage broker is one of several sources that homebuyers can use to obtain a mortgage.

Mortgage brokers work with multiple lenders, also known as wholesalers, to offer loan products to homebuyers.

When you work with a mortgage broker, he does the initial steps of the loan process: completing the application, obtaining your credit report, conducting the appraisal, verifying your employment, etc.

After the broker completes these steps the lender conducts the underwriting process in which your risk as a borrower is determined.

When the loan closes, you will no longer work with the mortgage broker. Instead, you work with the lender.

These wholesale lenders quote brokers a wholesale price for the loan. The mortgage broker then decides the price to offer to you.

The price you are quoted by the mortgage broker often includes some type of markup, usually in the form of points. Each point is one percent of the total loan amount.

So if the mortgage broker charges 1 point on a $100,000 loan, he received $1,000. Keep in mind that the number of points the broker charges is in addition to interest charged by the loan provider.

There really is no systematic way for mortgage brokers to set their markups.

For the most part, you can expect the broker to set the markup as high as they feel they can get away with.

This is why it is vital for borrowers to negotiate the price of their loan as much as possible. Go into the process expecting to negotiate because often the markup a mortgage broker includes isn't the absolute lowest he or she will accept.

The benefits to using a mortgage brokers are numerous.

You will likely get a much better deal when you work with a broker than you would going straight to the lender, even though mortgage brokers are known for marking up mortgages.

Since mortgages brokers have the luxury of working with several different lenders, they are in a position to give you the lowest mortgage offered.

You might also consider working with an upfront mortgage broker, a variation on the traditional mortgage broker.

An upfront mortgage broker conducts business in a slightly different, and perhaps more ethical manner.

At your request, this kind of mortgage broker discloses, in writing, the wholesale value of the loan as well as his or her markup included in the loan.

There are no secrets when you work with an upfront mortgage brokers -- you know exactly what you are paying and how much goes to each party in the process.

Finding an upfront mortgage broker in your area can be done by visiting the Upfront Mortgage Brokers Association's website found at http://www.upfrontmortgagebrokers.org.

Through this website you can locate and contact upfront mortgage brokers in your area.

When you use a mortgage broker to shop for your loan, it is a good idea to shop around with several other mortgage brokers to get a feel for the rates that are being offered.

This is the surest way to receive the best deal on a mortgage. <bio>Download a free ebook that shows you how to get the best mortgage: http://www.freelandproperty.com/ </bio>

Forex brokers are going to give you all types of information and advice about where you can invest and how you can invest with foreign companies. Forex systems are not available through all types of commercial investing companies but you can find a few Forex brokers in most all areas of the world. Forex brokers are found in large commercial investing firms, in most larger banks, and now with the help of the internet you can find many Forex brokers online. Use a Forex broker if you want to learn more about how to invest, where to invest, and how much money you need to invest in a Forex system right now.

Forex brokers are going to tell you what the minimums are. In some cases, you can invest as little as five dollars to open a Forex trading account. In some areas, and for some investment companies you must invest a minimum of $200 or even $500. It is important to remember that every investment firm is different, and will have set minimums for their business to take place.

Fees through a Forex broker will be based on the amount of the transaction and the type of transaction that you are completing. Moving from fund to fund or from Forex account to another Forex account you will incur the largest types of fees, but be sure to read the fine print on the Forex broker site where you intend to do business to be sure. Forex brokers make their money on the fees they bill when helping clients move money, and put money into investments.

A Forex broker should be a person you can trust, understand, and that you feel is honest with you. A Forex broker is one that you should not receive phone calls from, urging you to put large amounts of money into an account, right now. A Forex broker will present you with information about an investment, and then allow you time to make up your own mind if you are interested in the investment or not. A pushy broker is one that could be trying to earn a commission or could be trying to scam you. Again, your Forex broker is a broker you should feel comfortable in dealing with on a daily or weekly basis, but for many people, you may only talk to your Forex broker once a month or even less than that.

Investing money is a big decision. When deciding what broker Forex advice to take, or where to seek broker Forex advice you can use the links on these pages, or you can use your local yellow pages to find a possible Forex broker in your town or city. Not many Forex brokers are located in small towns or cities but in larger areas where the population is larger and more people have a need for such Forex and investing information. <bio>Kenneth Langlet is an independent writer and owner of the website http://www.brokers-and-traders.com/ where you can get more information about Forex broker. </bio>

Many owner operators think Brokers are all bad because some brokers can not be honest with the fuel sur charges now days. There is a misconception that all brokers are stealing the fuel sur charges from owner operators and that they are getting ripped off every which way but loose.

This is not the case. I used to own a dispatch service and had worked at a trucking company prior to my dispatch service. I have dealt with a lot of brokers in my time. I've even made a lot of friends because I've called on some honest brokers that were very fair to the carrier I worked with and my owner operators who were contracted under my dispatch. These brokers were very helpful and nice. The good brokers I had found went to the extent of bumping up the rate for me so that my drivers and company I worked for could make a little extra money, or would give my drivers a comcheck to help my drivers out with lumper fees so that my drivers wouldn't have to take the money out of their pockets which was the carriers road expenses to live on. The carriers under my dispatch would not have to wait for the money to get reimbursed a week later. I've even made some long term friendships with some brokers who were honest and still stay in contact with most of them.

Yes, like in any industry you have good people and bad people and the trucking industry is no exception. I was told a few months back by a broker when I was trying to find a load for one of my carriers "if you see an extra thousand dollars wouldn't you take it?" my reply to them was "no, that is the driver's fuel money to help compensate for the fuel its not the brokers to take. This money should go to the carriers not in your pocket; they are the ones paying for the fuel." This had gotten the broker vary angry at me because I am honest due to my up bringing.

These kinds of brokers who take the carriers fuel sur charges, all they are thinking about is money, living the high life and getting their loads hauled as cheap as possible. They have not had any formal training to learn right from wrong, but work according to what they had learned as a broker agent under another dishonest broker. They do things the wrong way and do not doing things according to correct procedure (yes there is a procedure to being a good broker) that is taught in a formal classroom setting.

I've recently noticed that a lot of brokers have gone out of business due to not only owner operators going out of business due to the fuel crisis this nation is undergoing but who are also taking the fuel sur charge away from the owner operators and small carriers who had ran under their dispatch.

Now I am not a broker yet, I am going to school to become a Broker, I have been taught not to be a dishonest broker. I was taught that if your honest with not only the shipper and owner operator and treat them fair, you will keep an on going business relationship with both the shipper and the carrier for many years. I was taught that if you're dishonest to the owner operator and the shipper they will turn their backs and go elsewhere or there will be to much liability bestowed upon the company that these brokers who do not do things according to procedure learned in a classroom setting will have a lot of liability claims bestowed upon them.<bio>You may view entire article at www.infotrucker.com There are many other articles on trucking, truck driving jobs, life on the road as a truck driver and many more at http://www.infotrucker.com</bio>

Mortgage broker. Mortgage lender. Bank loan officer. They're all the same. Their job is to sell you mortgages. Period... Well, not exactly. While all three are closely related, the nature of their jobs deviates slightly from each other.

What's a mortgage broker?

Contrary to popular belief, mortgage brokers do not work for the loan company or any lending organization or firm. A mortgage broker is a real estate financing professional who works independently from a lender. A mortgage broker concentrates on the instigation of residential or commercial mortgages. The lending company is the "wholesaler." The mortgage broker is the one who provides the actual funding and servicing to these loan "wholesalers."

Basically, mortgage brokers are freelance agents working with (not for) various wholesale lenders. Almost half of all the real estate residential loans in the United States are instigated by mortgage broker firm operations.

Mortgage Broker Services

Mortgage brokers have direct access to hundreds of loan products. Because of this, mortgage brokers are the best when it comes to providing consumers cost-effective and efficient options that cater to their specific loan needs. The mortgage broker evaluates and provides assessment based on the financial details which the customer gives. Using this information as leverage, the mortgage broker would then search through the hundreds of posted rates in order to find the best one for the customer. In this way, not only does a mortgage broker provide their customers with expertise and convenience, but choice as well.

Mortgage lending is a complicated task. Mortgage brokers act as guides for consumers, helping them through the entire process. When confusion sets in, mortgage brokers help dispel this by offering extensive choices and advice to aid the consumer maintain his financial balance with his goal.

When customers have a bad credit or a less-than attractive credit history, mortgage brokers help them get loans by looking for lending companies that are willing to let these types of consumers borrow money. Mortgage brokers also use novel loan packages to allow customers with low to moderate income enjoy the benefits of home ownership.

Mortgage brokers help consumers save on their time, money, and effort. Because mortgage brokers provide assessment on their clients' financial status, they can easily target products which more or less cover and fit with the clients' needs. This makes the job easier and less time-consuming. Mortgage brokers maintain contacts with several lending companies. This allows mortgage brokers to get the cheapest loans for their clients.

National Association of Mortgage Brokers

Established in 1973, the National Association of Mortgage Brokers is the primary trade association that represents the community. The association is affiliated with 46 states of the United States and promotes professional certification for mortgage brokers.

Mortgage brokers who are members of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers are required to follow the association's code of ethics and keep only the best lending practices in his profession. The mortgage broker acts as the liaison between the lender and the borrower. A mortgage broker is responsible for bridging the gap between these two. Such a large responsibility requires a mortgage broker to be completely thorough in his dealings with both and in the mortgage process. <bio>If you're set on greatly increasing your odds at discovering how to exploit the profit potential of real estate....
The majority of the Forex brokers do not charge commissions. They are remunerated by revenues from their activities as currency dealers, including earnings from buying, selling, interest on deposited funds, converting and holding currencies, and rollover fees.

If you think that, because Forex brokers do not charge commissions, they are working for free, you need to go back to Forex school. Forex brokers make their money from you, by selling you currency at one price and buying it back from you at a lower one. The difference in the prices is known as the "spread" and it can mount in a hurry. How can you determine a "spread?"

Understanding The Spread

You may have thought a "pip" meant is a fruit seed, and you would have been right. But in the 21st century, the "pip" is far more widely known as the smallest monetary increment, usually one one-hundredth of a percent. On the Forex market, currencies are priced to the fourth decimal place, and that fourth decimal pace is the"pip." It's also known as a "basis point."

Forex brokers make their livings in pips. The number of pips they charge per trade is known as their spread. Some Forex brokers charge the same spread no matter what the trade, and other Forex brokers charge a variable spread. While a variable spread can look enticingly small in a slow market, it will not be available when the Forex trading begins to fluctuate, because the Forex broker will raise his spread.

You can hook up with Forex brokers through major banks or investment firms. They are regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission and they are registered with the Futures Commission Merchant. But the Internet has caused a proliferation on online Forex brokers, who will provide traders the technology necessary to trade. They have opened the Forex market to million of small investors who may lack the capital and understanding to have any chance of succeeding.

What To Expect From Your Forex Brokers

If you're working with Forex brokers, and you should be, your have the right to expect their offices to be available around the clock. The Forex market never sleeps, and even if you are placing a trade in the middle of the day, it might be the middle of the in the hemisphere where your Forex broker's office is located.

If you need to get out of your trade in a hurry, you should be able to depend on someone being at the other end of the phone. And by the way, always make certain with your Forex brokers that you can close a position over the phone. If not, a power outage hitting your PC, or a failed Internet connection can spell disaster.

Before you sign on with any firm of Forex brokers, take the time to do some background checking. Not all Forex brokers have the financial underpinnings to hold money in reserve if their trades go wrong and their customers want to cleanout their trading accounts. Your Forex broker should be open about his company's financial condition and history, and be able to provide documentation of his claims. If he can't or won't, take your business elsewhere.

And before you commit any money to any Forex brokers, use their online sample trading features to decide which programs are best suited to your trading style. It costs nothing, and will give you confidence that in the fast moving world of Forex trading you'll be able to keep up. <bio>You can also find more info on http://www.e-forextradingsystem.com/Articles/Forex_Brokers.php on Forex Brokers and http://www.e-forextradingsystem.com/Articles/Forex_Education.php on Forex Education. http://e-forextradingsystem.com is a comprehensive resource to know about e-Forex Trading System. </bio>

So you're are looking to recruit for new mortgage brokers. When you think about doing that you probably hope that you can create enough interest in your company that you have enough hiring prospects to choose from and still be able to get the cream of the crop. There are many options out there for recruiting. But when looking for good mortgage brokers, it is best to look at what will get you the best Return On Investment. Just like in attracting clients to your business and calculating the ROI by tracking what each of those leads spent, take a look through the same window in applying Direct Mail to recruiting brokers.

Direct Mail is one of the best ways to recruit. Why?

1. You can get a targeted list. Because when using direct mail you can easily acquire a very targeted list of mortgage brokers. You can get a list of mortgage brokers with home addresses. You can get a list of brokers with a certain income. You can get a list of brokers in a certain area, a certain age range. This makes it easy to only attract the brokers who will fit into your business model.

Pay your list close attention. It could take you from the "pedestrian" approach and shoot you over into the fast lane. Targeted lists are not the only benefit is using Direct Mail to target new recruits. Now let's look at the other two points and see how they all tie together.

2. You can make the main "button" your headline. A "button" is word, phrase, picture, etc. that elicits an emotional response. Your direct mail piece should show that the opportunities they will have at your company are better than the opportunities they will have at their present company - right off the bat. You want an emotional response because you want them calling you.

In designing many direct mail postcards for the mortgage business, I have found that there are three key buttons that brokers respond to when being recruited. You can use any of these when you are using direct mail for recruiting. Using them in the headline will evoke the best response.

The three main points that are going to get a broker's attention are:

a) Earn larger commissions, b) A better selection of products to offer, c) "Brand Recognition" -- you have a great company identity to back them up.

Making the headline tie in with your list is key. Maybe you pick a list with their annual income a little low so that you can target this demographic by saying something like "Not Taking Enough Home? We can give you higher commissions".

If your business model is having more products to sell and consequently a higher closing percentage for that mortgage broker, then get that message across in your headline. Remember, you only have a few seconds to communicate your message in a direct mail piece, so push your particular button in the headline.

Let's say that your business model is such that you only offer a small portfolio of products because that is your niche and you don't plan to expand your product line. You may want to push higher commission structure. In essence, pick which one of the big 3 fit your company best and run with it.

As a mortgage company, you give your brokers opportunities and pay them -- in its simplistic form. Direct Mail is one of the best forms of advertisement when recruiting because you push whichever opportunity button that directly communicates your business. Make that "button" your headline. Elicit that emotion, get the call. The other opportunities or benefits you can put as secondary communication -- for example in a bulleted form on the back of the postcard. But your headline needs to pop and pull with the main button that you want to get across.

3. Use a postcard. The difference in sending a nice professional letter rather than a postcard is this one thing: Are they going to open it? How many "junk mail" pieces do you get in the mail and don't even open? Plenty. Get their attention in the few seconds that you have and get your point across. Postcards are short, sweet and to-the-point. You may never have that opportunity with a letter. Then when they respond, follow up with a letter telling more about your company. But make sure that the letter has your same colors and/or logo on it so they recognize it as the same company who sent them the postcard.

If you have a full color dynamic postcard that says "Wish you were reaching your full potential as a mortgage broker?" Or "Are you're commissions not what they were cracked up to be?" That is going to jump out at them. That's exactly what you want. Now you've got their attention and they will be more likely to call and see what you have to tell them.

Also, you want to get your message across with two or three postcards -- each slightly different than the first, but with the same look, feel and colors. All you want to say is what opportunity you are offering -- don't put all the details on the card, just make them want it and make them call. A letter or package sent out afterwards that explains your whole business, what you can offer them, what products you offer, what your commission scale is (a lot of times your commission scale is too much to put in the postcard) is a great follow up. In the postcard, just tell them that more than likely what you're offering is better than what they are getting now.

4. Finally, tell them to give you a call. Your headline and graphic are the most important parts. Get their attention first as the main focus -- then they will turn the postcard over to read what else you want to tell them. But don't forget to command them to call you.

You can be extremely effective in recruiting with direct mail postcards because with direct mail you are directing your message to a well-defined target that is more likely to respond than if you just shot off an arrow with your eyes closed. Good luck and happy hunting! <bio>Joe Niewierski, VP Marketing at PostcardMania, became a published writer after graduating with a BA in Advertising from USF.
Forex trade brokers help you to make trades on the Forex markets. If you feel timid about making your own trades you can hire one of the experienced brokers. There are several companies who provide brokerage services for Forex transactions. Some only accept clients with deep pockets, but you can find many who service clients with various investment portfolios.

Traditionally, brokers act as links between buyers and sellers. If you have a product to sell, for example, a broker will find potential buyers for a small fee. Similarly, Forex brokers buy and sell currencies in behalf of their clients and pocket a small fee.

Although there are likenesses between Forex markets and equity markets, the main difference is that, typically, Forex trade brokers do not work solely on a commission basis. Rather, brokers base their earnings on the spread.

The spread

The spread is the difference between the price of a currency from when it is bought and the price it would fetch when it is then sold. Often referred to as the andquot;pipandquot;, this spread is the smallest price percentage increase in a chosen currency.

Although most banks offer currency trading brokerage alternatives, usually their fees are comparably higher than most dedicated Forex brokers. Also, their response times are traditionally slower than other brokerages.

To realize big profits in foreign exchange trades, you should choose Forex brokers using a comparison of fees charged and rapid response times. Because of the speedy changes from one country's currency exchange to another, often timing plays a far more important role in a profitable trade than do brokerage fees. However, you should pay attention to the fees brokers charge because they do affect how much profit you will have after the trade closes.

Internet Based Training

The latest development in the Forex brokerage business is brokers offering Internet based trading opportunities and modules to consumers with technological advances geared to online trading. Simply by having access to a computer with an Internet connection, you can begin trading in the Forex markets.

Online Forex brokers usually help newcomers by providing free demo trading modules where they can practice making Forex trades in a virtual setting. Once the trainee becomes familiar with Forex trading procedures, they can then go andquot;liveandquot; and make real trades.

Select a Broker

When selecting a Forex broker, it is important to find out how they charge for their services. Most Forex brokers broadcast live or delayed prices via their Internet web pages so the investor has the opportunity to compare the spreads.

It is important to know whether the posted spread is fixed or variable. Although you may consider variable pips an attractive alternative during a quiet market, most brokers widen the spread during busy market times. This means the investor will only realize a gain on the money he invests when the market is favorable.

So, obviously you have many things to consider when you decide to look for a broker. But the main focus of your decision would depend on how much money you have to invest. <bio>Get the latest in forex brokers know how from the only true source at http://www.forextradingline.com.
In order to get your property listed on the MLS in Arizona, you will need to first contact a real estate agent that is a member of your local MLS. While real estate licensees are licensed to sell real estate anywhere in the state, the state still is made of multiple independent MLS systems, so you need to ensure that the broker you list a property with is a member of the correct local MLS for you area. Simply stated, there is not one master MLS system for the entire state of Arizona. A Tucson broker would most likely be a member of the Tucson MLS system, but most Tucson brokers are not also members of the Phoenix system. There are certainly exceptions, however. For instance, a real estate broker that was active in Green Valley that occasionally drove to Tucson to list or sell real estate, might be a member of both systems. Being on the wrong system will not do you much good; while it will get your property displayed on certain websites like Realtor.comŽ, it will not be searchable by local agents, nor will it be displayed on their websites unless it is in the correct MLS. So having your property in the correct MLS system is critical.

Since only brokers can list properties in the MLS, you will need to sign a listing agreement with a broker. There are basically two types of brokers, traditional brokers and flat fee MLS brokers. A traditional broker will require a commission be paid to them, a portion of which they will share with a buyer's agent in the event that there is one. While there is no set fee, the commission tends to be quite pricey. Many sellers cannot stomach the fact that a very good-sized chunk of their equity is going to go to the listing broker. The second type of broker is a flat fee MLS broker. This broker does not receive a commission at closing. Instead, they receive a small flat fee for listing the property in the MLS and possibly a few other services. The listing agreement the seller signs with a flat fee MLS broker has the ability for the seller to compensate the buyer's broker. In the event that a buyer's broker is involved in the transaction, the buyer's broker would receive the pre-determined amount. If no buyer's broker is involved, then no commissions are paid at closing.

Sellers need to understand the importance of the MLS. The MLS is a marketing and exposure tool unlike any other. At one time, the MLS was an actual book of properties that an agent thumbed through. Nowadays, it is a real-time system that agents search for full detailed information of what is available. A portion of that data is also fed to both national Internet websites like Realtor.comŽ and local Internet websites like azcentral.com; these sites are heavily trafficked and searchable by consumers. So beyond being a method to offer compensation to the brokerage community, the MLS is by far the most powerful marketing tool available.<bio>Donald Plunkett of Congress Realty is a flat fee MLS broker. He covers the entire State of Arizona through membership in multiple MLS systems. More info: http://www.congressrealty.com</bio>

Brokers are professionals who play an important role in mediating between a lender and a borrower. Brokers collect personal information about the client for the lender including employment and medical history. They also provide the clients' financial and credit information to the lender.

There are many different types of brokers. Below are the more sought-after brokers:

Mortgage broker: mortgage brokers guide customers through the process of selecting a suitable mortgage package with competitive package offers. They also offer financial advice on mortgage and property. Their job is to find a mortgage package that meets the borrower's needs, and to help the client process and complete their mortgage application form. In the United States, mortgage brokers negotiate over 80% of home loans issued. Banks go through brokers to effectively outsource the job of finding and qualifying borrowers.

Real estate broker: real estate brokers finds buyers for those wanting to sell real estate and finds sellers for those wanting to buy real estate. Real estate brokers help sellers market their property and sell it for the highest possible price; they also help buyers purchase property for the best possible price. Once the broker successfully finds a buyer, the real estate broker receives a commission for his or her service. In the U.S. a 6% commission is usually the case for residential real estate and is usually paid by the seller. This is generally split 50/50 between the listing agent and the selling agent.

Forex broker: forex brokers are firms or individuals, who assist individuals or firms to trade in the foreign exchange market. Forex brokers make money from pip or andquot;spread.andquot; A spread is the minimum price increase in currency. For instance, in Euro/US Dollar, a shift from 0.9007 to 0.9008 is one spread. In US Dollar/Japanese Yen, a shift from 127.40 to 127.41 is one spread.

Stockbroker: a stockbroker is a person or company who buys and sells stocks on behalf of another person or company, and tries to match up buyers and sellers. Many people seek the advice of and pay for the services of a stockbroker to help them in making informed decisions about their finances with the knowledgeable and interactive guidance of a licensed stockbroker.

Insurance broker: insurance brokers source contracts of insurance on behalf of their customers. An insurance broker will help you to choose the best to fit your needs.

An investor looking for an investment avenue will benefit greatly from using a broker, as brokers tend to be more up-to-date with trends and happenings in the market. Also as per law the broker has a fiduciary duty to advise the customer in the customer's best interest. <bio>If you are in need of a Broker, visit Susan's site at http://www.expert-broker.info.
In this ever-fluctuating financial world, it is very difficult to know the best way to go about making your money work for you. For generations the stock exchange has given consumers the opportunity to invest their money into companies that they felt would perform solidly, thus increasing the worth of their stock. In essence, the stock market acts as a facilitator between buyers and sellers, as they exchange stock that they hold in companies.

These companies use the money they receive from their investors to further their business and increase profits; increased profit means a higher worth for the stock. And round and round it goes. Traditionally, those looking to invest went to a stock broker in any number of brokerage companies who would assist the investor in the buying and selling of stock and the building of their financial portfolio.

But in this age of the Internet, investors need only turn on their computer to be linked into the stock exchange. Subsequently, to keep pace with this changing economy, online stock brokers entered into this new world of finance in order to assist virtual customers in achieving their financial goals.

Online stock brokers work within investment companies that offer online resources as either their entire service or as part of their traditional brokerage service. Some of the more commonly used online stock brokers are Ameritrade, ETrade Financial, Fidelity, and Schwab. Such brokers operate much as traditional brokers - assessing the investor's financial situation, the financial plan they want to execute, and the stocks in which they are interested.

Working through these online stock brokers, investors create an account where they can access their financial information at the click of a mouse. Online brokerage houses offer an extensive amount of information in order for investors to make informed decisions regarding their trades; stock quotes are kept scrolling at all times on the website; historical performance on each stock can be accessed; and in-depth information regarding each company's history and financial status is available for investors to perform research prior to investing.

Investors turn to online trading and online stock brokers for a variety of benefits, not the least of which is low broker fees; online broker fees generally run between $7 and $10 per trade. There is also the control investors have to make decisions on behalf of their own portfolio.

Investors are able to choose what stocks they want to buy - regardless of what the stock broker prefers. Online stock brokers - unlike traditional stock brokers - do not exert much control over the stocks of the investor. Online trading offers investors a whole new level of independence.

The world of investment has changed; no longer are investors required to physically visit their stock brokers in order to examine their portfolio, set financial goals, and buy and sell commodities. Today's savvy investors work from their computers along with online stock brokers in order to be hands-on participants in their own financial future. <bio>For more online stocks information please visit http://www.aboutonlinestocks.com - a popular online stocks website that provides tips and online stock resources.
