Laundry is something we all must do, but most of us don't really like doing, laundry duty, or laundry day is something most of us prefer to avoid whenever we can. You will be surprised to learn that laundry is one of the main causes of disorder and mess around the house, laundry that is not taken care of can sometimes be a burden on all family members.

How many times did you want to explain to one of your family members that the laundry does not end its life when simply inserted into the laundry basket, and how many times you simply asked that the used clothes be properly places in the laundry basket?. There is one big secret on laundry management and that is keeping it tidy and in order all the time, and using as many things as you possibly can to help you do that.

A wicker laundry basket is one of the classical and simplest things you can get, it looks great, and it is easy to move around from place to place. A wicker laundry basket is what most people use to hold their laundry until it is done and than they use it again when they need to put order in the laundry itself.

When a laundry basket is full it can weight much more than what you think it can, if you want to make your life a little easier you will get a wicker made basket, wicker is, by nature a light material, it is also very durable, so you don't have to worry about the basket falling apart after a short time.

Using a wicker made basket you will have a woven laundry basket that provides proper airing and ventilation for the laundry, and a stylish laundry basket that would not ruin the overall look of your laundry room or bathroom, in fact wicker is one thing that can fit into almost any design and fit in with many different kind of furniture. Wicker is woven from a variety of vines, grasses, and other plants to make a strong, sturdy material for furniture. The wicker laundry basket is strong and sturdy enough to carry several pounds of soiled clothing.

The only thing you need to remember about a wicker laundry basket is that you should try and avoid placing moist clothes in the basket, wicker is not very good with moisture and the result may be that the wicker strands get moist and lose their grip on each other, losing the hold of the whole basket and come apart, this is something that is relatively easy to avoid and important to remember, if you could avoid that you will probably be able to use your wicket laundry basket for a long while.

When shopping for a wicker basket try and think about the amount of clothes you use each time, since the wicker laundry baskets can hold large amount of clothes you can fit the size to your needs, you can also look around for the kind of color and design that you want because there is a huge selection in wicker furniture and design. <bio>Daniel Roshard is a designer fascinated by garden architecture, Wicker Furniture and Wicker art has long been a subject of his interst, he know writes wicker furniture buying tips and advice for http://outdoorwicker.zupatips.com/ for http://www.zupatips.com </bio>

In this fast paced world, where people are running out of time, a laundry service offers the best service by saving precious time of their customers. The success of commercial laundry services is evident from the increasing customer base and the volume they are able to handle in a day, thanks to the latest commercial laundry equipments. But, this successful business can turn out to be unprofitable if things are not planned in proper order.

In this business, one of the most important factors to consider is the choice of commercial laundry equipments which can play a deciding role in the operations. The key equipments required for any laundry service is the coin operated laundry and commercial home-style washers, dryers and stacked dryers which can be also used for apartments, residence halls, military installations and senior housing.

The correct choice of these laundry equipments along with proper layout and operations plan can make you ride with the profits that are increasing everyday with this business.

If you are planning to start with a new laundry service, apart from the commercial equipments you will need to consider the floor plan which deals with the order and placement of various laundry equipments. In this case, most of the equipment distributors will help you as they have dealt with a wide variety of floor plan layouts.

You can consider the suggestions about what the right equipment mix will be for your particular layout. This is quite essential as nowadays, floor space is costlier than before and having a good layout can save you some valuable space.

In this way you need to effectively maximize your usable space. One of the suggestions for utilizing valuable space is going in for a stack dryer as it this is more like putting two machines in the place of one. Doing this will help you to free up space for other equipments like additional washers, snack vending machines, change machines, play areas, etc.

A proper mix of machines allows more efficient flow of traffic between machines, providing a direct match for the larger washer extractors. Also, easy access to machines is critical, and so is the availability of laundry carts and folding tables. This is necessary as a comfortable customer experience builds customer loyalty.

Now, moving on to these laundry equipments you need to purchase, we find that the commercial dryer is an important purchase to go in for. Here are a few considerations you should adhere to while making the buying decision.

While buying the dryer, consider the heat source as the gas heated machine will produce at a more efficient rate compared to a steam model. This is so as it costs more to produce steam that heats a steam coil in order to heat the air. This process is what ultimately dries that laundry.

On the contrary, a gas machine directly fires up with a heat source that heats the air. Also consider the machine configuration as it plays a crucial role in the flow of a laundry. Generally a single door or two-door pass through style machine is appropriate as it covers all the requirements. Also consider the price and additional features which play a crucial role in the decision making. <bio>Find the best http://www.laundry-equipment.net commercial laundry equipment possible from Laundry-equipment.net.
Laundry baskets can come in extremely useful and they can make washing your clothes an awful lot simpler. Try and purchase more than one in order to keep the best possible order around the home.

Washing your clothes is a chore which needs doing frequently. It is also a chore which not many people enjoy doing and it is something that can be extremely time consuming too. However there are things which can help you to organize the washing a little bit better and one of those things includes a laundry basket.

Why Two Laundry Baskets Are Often Better Than One

Whilst one laundry basket can help to keep things a little tidier, often it can become overflowing. This then makes washing seem a little more daunting and o by having more than one basket you are allowing yourself to be extremely organized and washing will not seem as hard work as it could have been.

When purchasing laundry baskets, wicker ones tend to be extremely popular. They are light to carry and they come in a variety of different styles too. You can use a different laundry basket for different purposes. For example, you could have one basket for white washing, one for dark washing and one for bright colors. That way you know exactly what you are doing and you do not have to spend as long sorting through everything.

If you would prefer ultimate convenience then the best answer is a collapsible laundry basket. This would be ideal in places such as the kitchen and the bathroom as you can place towels and cloths etc in them and because they are not always full you can easily collapse them down and use them whenever they are needed to save space.

Finally you should have a separate basket, perhaps a plastic one, for collecting the laundry to do a wash. By collecting one plastic basket full of washing you know that you can wash that little bit of washing, dry it, hang it up and then move onto the next without having any dirty clothing on the floor. It works well and it certainly saves a lot of time and hassle.

Overall this system would work particularly well for families and people who have an awful lot of washing to do. It does not take much effort to put the right colored washing into the right laundry basket and it keeps the home looking a lot more organized too. <bio>Adam Peters is a freelance writer for http://www.home-decorating-reviews.com .
There is no other way to deal with those dirty clothes that have been pilling up and threaten to take over your bathroom, closet or even apartment. Laundry day has arrived and although your phone, which has not rang for two days, is now ringing like crazy as friends want to invite you to the big game or for another night out in town, you have to reject every single offer so as to stay in and "do your laundry." Well, things are not as bad as you might think. It is important that you do have clean clothes to wear everyday, but equally important is for you to allow yourself some time to relax and enjoy life in and out of your wardrobe. Although you believe that there is no way the two could be ever combined, the tips that follow can save you precious time and energy, allowing you to visit that new "hot" spot in town in a perfectly-looking attire.

First of all, inspect your current wardrobe situation. Have the clothes that need to be washed reached a dangerous height zone? If yes, grab immediately your daily planner and a pen and sit down. Now open your calendar on your current day and check your free-time schedule for the upcoming week. Is there a two hour time frame anywhere in there that could be named "Laundry Time?" Perhaps you do not wish to admit it, but I believe there is. Between working, visiting the gym, going out to party or watching a movie, there must be a time slot somewhere in there which you can select to designate as your "laundry zone." Since the pile of dirty clothes seem always to increase, regardless of how diligent you are in washing them every week or fifteen days, it is important to plan ahead so you will not have to miss your next chance to celebrate out with friends. Select the day that seems most convenient, which could be any weekday depending on your current schedule, and then note down the "laundry time" title up until the end of next month. But, remember that before choosing the time frame for you to do this house errand, you should also check when your apartment building's washing machines are going to be less occupied by other tenants. If you belong to that lucky group of people that have their washing and dryer machines inside their house, there are really no excuses for you to stall this laundry-business anymore. Upon selecting the day and the time to do your laundry every week or fifteen days-the frequency depends on the number of people you are taking after, like kids or parents-it is important to stick with it! Have in mind that the time you will assign for you to do your laundry should become your new "house ritual," if you wish to keep this ever-growing situation under control.

With the date and the time out of the way, it is now time to ease the process. If you have the necessary space, buy an extra laundry basket and place it near the one you do currently own. Instead of throwing together whites and colored clothes, you can now separate your laundry in advance. This provides you with the alternative of washing the clothes that need to be washed together, saving you time and energy. If for example, your whites pile up sooner than your darker clothes do, you can revise your laundry schedule and wash your whites every week, keeping your darker laundry every fifteen days, and vise versa. In addition, you will now have a simple system to separate them before having to kneel in front of washing machines and do this on the floor. If your current space does not allow you to give this system a try, you can still separate the single basket into two parts, by putting a piece of board in the middle or a smaller basket inside the bigger one. Finally, you do not have to be in the house for your laundry to be completed. You can wait for the half an hour it takes your washing machine to finish its cycles and upon putting your wet attires in the dryer you are free to go outdoors to do whatever you like. If you select to stay in, take advantage of this time, to take a shower, read a book, cook dinner, or simply chill out. Before you know it your wardrobe will be clean and you can again enjoy wearing the clothes of your choice anywhere you wish. <bio>Kadence Buchanan writes articles for http://iclothingcenter.com/ - In addition, Kadence also writes articles for http://familyinformationsource.com/ and http://ijewelrycenter.com/ </bio>

I'm not an environmentalist by any stretch of the imagination, but I do consider the impact of what I am doing has on the environment. That is why when my wife started using Soap Nuts as our household cleaner, it sparked my curiosity to learn more.

What are Soap Nuts?

Soap Nuts are actually not nuts at all. They are berries (also known as Soap Berries) that grow on trees in India and Nepal. There are two main varieties of Soap Nuts: sapindus trifoliatus (The Small Soap Nut) and sapindus mukorossi (The Large Soap Nut). The Large Soap Nut is the most commonly used in cleaning (probably due to its size and ease of harvesting), but both varieties are quite effective.

How do Soap Nuts Work as a Detergent?

Soap Nuts contain large quantities of saponin in their shells, which acts as a natural, gentle detergent when it comes into contact with water. Without added chemicals, fragrances or dyes, Soap Nuts are safe and gentle for handwashing delicates, yet tough enough for regular laundry. They will leave your laundry soft, clean and fragrance free, without the use of fabric softeners.

Will Soap Nuts Clean Difficult Items?

Yes and No. Soap Nuts are one of the best detergents out there to get rid of bad odors. Musty towels and wash cloths, even cloth diapers, come out smelling fresh and new. When it comes to stubborn stains, though, such as blood and red wine, you will want to use a stain remover to help the cleaning process.

What About My Allergies to Soap?

Most allergic reactions to soap are due to added chemicals and fragrance. Soap Nuts are naturally grown and chemical free. When we began using soap nuts for our laundry detergent, the eczema which I had across my chest and belly cleared up and has been gone now for 6 months. Soap Nuts are 100% non-allergenic.

How do I use Soap Nuts in my Laundry?

For Laundry Detergent, you can use Soap Nuts one of two ways:

1. Toss 2 or 3 Soap Nuts in a small Muslim bag (provided with most Soap Nuts orders) and throw it in with your laundry. (Make sure that you take the soap nuts out before putting your clothes in the dryer). The nuts will do 3 or 4 loads.

2. Boil 100 g of Soap Nuts in 12 cups (3L) of water for 30 minutes. The liquid you have is now a concentrated, chemical free detergent. The leftover shells can be placed in your compost. Use 3 Tbsp or 45 ml of this detergent with each load of laundry. This allows you to do approximately 60 loads of laundry. Not bad for under $10!

Can Soap Nuts be used for More Than Just Laundry Detergent?

Yes. Soap Nuts can be used, in the liquid form, for cleaning just about anything. From dish washer soap, to window and glass cleaner, to repairing oily or dry hair, Soap Nuts are a multi-purpose cleaner. For more information on particular applications visit http://SoapNuts.Wordpress.com

The End Product Still Goes Down the Drain. Does That Hurt the Environment?

No. Soap nuts are antimicrobial. This means that they actually help in breaking down the grey water in the septic system. Also, you do not have to do a rinse cycle when you do your laundry with soap nuts. This can save gallons of water every wash cycle. Don't worry, though; if you forget to stop your machine before the rinse cycle the Soap Nuts are just as effective. The amount of saponin left in the rinse cycle will just leave your clothes feeling soft.

Soap Nuts are a Win-Win Situation

With great cleaning power, no harmful chemicals, and prices that rival any other detergents, Soap Nuts are one of the best cleaning agents you can buy.

For more information on Soap Nuts and pricing, visit http://Stores.HotterThanHealth.com/Storefront.bok <bio> http://Stores.HotterThanHealth.com/StoreFront.bok </bio>

Time management and housekeeping: Do they really go together? They can if you set goals and take it one step at a time.

First, you want to identify what you want. What is your andquot;Clean IQ?andquot; Are you a neatnik or more relaxed? This is your decision based on your own priorities.

Now that you know what level of clean you want, you will set some goals to reach that level. Go through your house, room by room, and decide what needs to be done to bring it up to your expectations.

Perhaps your first priority will be to organize the room. Based on that decision, write down everything that must be done to accomplish it. Don't worry about cleaning it right now. You'll worry about that aspect of the project later.

And speaking of projects, I would treat each room, or part of a room, as a project. Break each room/project down into doable tasks. Go through all of the rooms and areas of your home at once.

After you've gone through all of your rooms and written everything down , list everything else that you know needs to be done, such as picking up your dry cleaning, having your car serviced or writing a letter to your friend. Write it all down and get it out of your head. This is what I call a brain dump!

You are going to have one heck of a list! But, remember, you are going to take each item as a baby step.

Your next step is to set up a schedule to work on your projects. Be reasonable in setting up the time you have available. You're not going to get it all done in one day. After all, it didn't get unorganized in one fell swoop!

All done? Good! Your next step is to look at all of your rooms and decide which is most important to YOU to get clean and organized first. I always like to start with the laundry area because when you start going through your other rooms, you'll nearly always have some laundry. If your laundry room is already clean and organized, it makes doing all of that other laundry much easier.

Now, get yourself four boxes and label them STAY, MISPLACED, GIVE AWAY and TRASH. Go through your rooms: room by room, area by area, item by item and put each item into the appropriate box. Take trash items to the garbage bin immediately. Box up the charity and/or garage sale items and deal with them as soon as you can. Take your misplaced things and put them in a central location. Don't try to put them away at this point. If you want to be REALLY organized, sort them into boxes by the room they should go in.

Now, clean your room according to andquot;yourandquot; level of clean and begin putting everything that belongs in this room where it should go. If it doesn't have a place, find one that makes sense, probably where you are most likely to use it.

One room is finished! Go on to the next room in line of priority. Wash, rinse and repeat!

You can get clean and organized. It just takes time and persistence...and getting a little cooperation from your family, of course. <bio>You, too, can be clean and organized.
When you think about decorating your home, hampers is likely an afterthought. Stylish hampers can complete the look of a bathroom or bedroom and should be chosen carefully. You might just find a beautiful laundry hamper and decide to decorate a room around it.

Pretty hampers come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and materials. You can purchase clothes hampers in wicker or covered in cloth. There are very durable laundry hampers made of plastic or resin that look very stylish as well. Stylish hampers can brighten up a room when strategically placed, not to mention the fact that clothes hampers help to keep an area tidy.

Bathroom laundry hampers should be of a more sturdy material that won't break down from moisture. Plastic or resin might be the best choice for these areas. Some wicker materials are coated to withstand moisture as well. Be sure the check the inside of the clothes hampers you might buy for a bathroom, too, because you are going to be putting damp towels in them, which can cause mildew if the material of the hamper soaks up the moisture. Even stylish hampers for a bathroom should be well made and ventilated to prevent mold and mildew from forming.

Kids' bedrooms can be kept tidy with stylish hampers. There are laundry hampers made for boys' rooms and girls' rooms. Some have colors and designs that compliment the design of the kids' rooms. There are clothes hampers for girls' rooms that are in the shape of a princess castle and for boys' rooms shaped like a rocket ship. There are even hampers that hang below a basketball hoop to be hung on the closet door. These make tossing dirty clothes into them fun for kids.

Stylish hampers for adults' bedrooms are a nice addition to the room's dιcor. Some bedding sets have matching clothes hampers that you can purchase separately. If there isn't a matching laundry hamper for your bedroom set, take a pillow cover to the store with you to search for pretty hampers that will be a good match. Try finding a solid color that matches an accent or trim color in the bedroom. This will help to bring out that color when you set the clothes hamper near it.

Some people just buy plain clothes hampers and cover them with material to match the room they will be in. This can be easily done with a padded material, or a thin padding to place under the material, and a glue gun and staple gun. Simply wrap the padding and material around the laundry hamper and glue at the top and bottom edges as well as at the seam and then use the staple gun to tack the seams down in inconspicuous places to secure them.

Laundry hampers don't have to be expensive to be pretty, although some can be a little pricey. The price you are willing to pay for a pretty clothes hamper will probably depend on how visible it will be in the room. Are you using it to accent a room or will you be hiding it in a closet. You will probably pay more for stylish hampers that will be part of the room's dιcor, but it will be worth the price.<bio>Matt Franks is director of Fluid Branding, the UK's largest supplier of Promotional Hampers and other Promotional Products at www.fluidbranding.com.
There is nothing as pleasurable as having your own work wear or even everyday wear customized to your specifications. Whether you have a name placed or a customized dragon placed on your favorite coat, you will find that personalizing this popular type of outerwear will insure you get the most out of your coat for years to come. In addition, with customization you will find that you are selling yourself without even saying a word.

Embroidered coats are a great investment in time, money, and energies. Those designs are beautiful and sure to please, but they do so much more that just look nice. Those customized designs will be a direct reflection of your own sparkling and professional personality wherever you choose to go whether the golf course or the family reunion. Yes, you can be your best marketing tool when you decide that purchase embroidered coats is something for you.

However, after getting that intricate design, you will need to follow a few easy steps to insure the security and safety of the garment you choose.

Always wash in appropriate temperatures. Sometimes, it is easier to put everything in the wash and just click the warm water to let nature take its course. This is not a good idea for any laundry, but it is even worse if this is how you launder your embroidered coats. You invested a lot of time into getting that perfect design. Why would you lose that investment when it takes but a few seconds to turn the laundry on with the appropriate temperatures.

Always use a high grade laundry detergent. Using a low quality laundry detergent is rarely suggested unless you are laundering shop clothes, However, using that low quality detergent on your beautiful new embroidered coats is just a downright bad idea. You will be harming your investment every time you launder the outerwear. There are many high quality laundry detergents that do not cost a small fortune. Simply keep your eyes open for great deals at your local retailer.

Always separate colors and whites. Again, it is easier to toss everything dirty in a pile and grab a handful to toss in the wash. Unfortunately, this is going to mean you have colors that bleed onto your whites, and whites that will look grungy and dirty. Separating whites and colors is not difficult. In addition, you will find that when your laundry looks awesome, the extra time is time well spent indeed.

Always treat possible stains immediately. One of the problems with spots is that they can and often do turn into stains. You will find that by treating that spot as soon as possible you will not give the spot time to turn into an unattractive and appalling stain. Whether you have pants, vests, or embroidered coats, pre-treating will save you a lot of time and energy in the long run.

When it comes to your embroidered coats, you will find that a good rule of thumb is to simply use commonsense that is not always so common, and to use the best the market has to offer you in a price range you can afford.<bio>Max Johnson of The Uniform Connection click for Corporate Apparel.
A soap that grows on trees and is free of any harmful chemicals and toxic dyes is called a soap nut! Sounds vague, but it is true! Soap nuts are actually the fruit of a tree called Sapindus and have a cleansing property because of the presence of a natural surfactant called Saponin. This Saponin, when it comes in contact with water, cleans the clothes by allowing the water to enter the cloth fabric and remove the dirt. It is eco-friendly and harmless to the environment, as well as having anti microbial properties.

Soap nuts can be used for many purposes. They can be used as laundry detergent or to clean your utensils. They can also be used as a natural pesticide or for cleaning jewelry.

LAUNDRY: Tie 4-6 soap nut shells in a muslin bag (provided with most soap nuts orders) and put it in the washing machine load at a desired temperature. You can use the same pouch for 4 to 6 loads of laundry. When the shells become grayish and mushy, they are ready to be replaced and added to your compost. 100 g of soap nuts can be used for approximately 40 loads of laundry.

DISH CLEANER: You can use soap nuts liquid to wash your dishes. To make the liquid, boil 100g of soap nuts in 12 cups (20 l) of water for approximately 30 minutes. Cool the liquid, remove the shells, and your liquid soap is ready! Storing the liquid in an air tight container helps it to keep longer. Because there are no added chemicals in soap nuts liquid, it can go bad after some time, depending on the storing conditions. You can use this liquid for washing the dishes or even use 3 tbsp for a large load of laundry.

The liquid soap from the soap nuts can be used for many purposes. It can be used as a shampoo, car wash, pet shampoo or anything that you wash with liquid soap or detergents.

You can also use your soap nuts liquid for cleaning and purifying the fruits and vegetables that you eat. Just soak them in the liquid for 10 minutes and your food is clean and germs free!

Soak your jewelry in the liquid and then rub it with a clean cloth. This will give back the shine and glaze.

Use your soap nuts liquid as a pesticide. Spray the liquid on trees or plants and the insects will be repelled.

Applying the liquid on your scalp can help prevent dandruff. Use the liquid as a shampoo, leave it on your scalp for 5-10 minutes, and rinse as normal. This process can also help prevent hair loss due to excess chemicals our scalp is exposed to every day.

Soap nuts have been used for centuries in India and Nepal. We are just now beginning to discover the benefits in North America. Soap nuts are the natural choice for an all-purpose cleaner, and an environmentally friendly detergent.<bio>http://www.BuySoapNuts.com</bio>

If you have hired an interior decorator to assist you in the design of your home, you should maintain regular contact with your decorator to make certain that the man or woman understands where you would like to head in regard to the design of your living space. This includes the manner in which you include and incorporate home appliances into your home and living space.

For some people, the kitchen is the last place on the world that they want to spend time. Of course, on the other hand there are people who absolutely love spending time in the kitchen. Because of this variance, the manner in which a kitchen ultimately is designed depends in no small manner on the way a person approaches and utilizes that particular space in the household.

Depending on what you want to do with and in your kitchen will be the key and foundation upon which the area and space should be designed and decorated by your interior design professional.

In working with an interior designer, you will want to make certain that the designer understands exactly what you want to spend when it comes to all elements of the home -- including the amount of money that you wish to spend on such things as home appliances. Without paying very close attention to purchases, it is very easy to run over budget when it comes to decorating your home, including when it comes to the purchase of various types of home appliances that you will want for your residence.

Generally speaking, when you are in the process of designing a home or remodeling a residence, you should layout and define your budget up front. Within this budget, you should include the realistic costs you anticipate for the home appliances that you will want to purchase as part of the overall decorating program. As with keeping an eye on the decorating progress, by laying out a budget up front and in advance, you will be better able to control the costs associated with a decorating project.

In the end, by working with a home designer or interior decorator, you can end up with an absolutely spectacular home. Professional assistance can help you make your dream home become a perfect reality. You will have the exact kind of home that you want both today and on into the future. <bio>Dana Bradley writes about http://www.homeappliancesonsale.com/Categories/Laundry/Dryers.aspx and http://www.homeappliancesonsale.com/Categories/Laundry/Washers.aspx </bio>

Plastic or magnetic personalized memoboards are a great idea for anyone that feels their memory is a bit off. Even if you have a great memory there are simply times when you need a little help remembering something and that is when memory boards come in handy, or memory "memoboards".

If you find you are too busy during the day to remember to check your messages or take a shower even, you may be in the market for a customized memoboard. You don't have to pay a fortune, because for the most part you can buy promotional memoboards from about any retailer for pennies on the dollar. Memoboards alone are not really interesting, but what you can DO with them is.

Using Memoboards Wisely

Most people associate memoboards with school or with work. Corporate memoboards for example are commonly found in board rooms where people remember sitting for long hours in boring meetings talking about things like budget constraints. Some people associate customized memoboards with their elementary school years. How can you forget your teacher writing down your assignments on a classic memoboard?

Today you can use printed memoboards or personalized memoboards in your very own home. Do you need to write down your homework or plan a corporate meeting to take advantage of them? No, you do not. There are many ways you can take advantage of memoboards wisely without having to think of them as boring task managers.

(although you will use them to manage your tasks)

Consider magnetic memoboards for example. You can buy a printed memoboard for the kitchen with the label "kitchen" printed on it. Place this on your refrigerator to keep a running list of the groceries you need going. That way you will never have to try to remember what it is you need when the time comes to shop, and you will always have a head's up when the time gets close to think about grocery shopping.

You can do the same for the laundry room, except substitute the title "laundry" for "kitchen". Laundry needs management just as much as a kitchen does. You can keep track of the white, colors, kid's clothes or linens you do weekly. Find out just how much you spend in laundry detergent or how much laundry you do weekly.

Keeping Kids Organized

One of the best purposes for a personalized memoboard if you are a parent is as a chore list. You can have kids write down their chores on a chore board and keep track of their progress. This is a great idea for kids once they get to be in middle school. Most kids love to take charge of their own progress toward their goals, and having a customized memoboard for each child will allow them to do so. You can even have them chart their progress toward completing their chores each week and tally their funds or the rewards they make on a customized "reward" memoboard if you like. As you can see, having a personalized memoboard is a lot funner than it may at first seem.<bio>Miles Lovegrove is director of Fluid Branding, the UK's largest supplier of Promotional Memoboards and other Promotional Products at www.fluidbranding.com.
Keeping your clothing in great working order is not always an easy feat. Sure, toss clothes in the washing machine, add detergent, and then punch a couple buttons. This is a popular method, but it is not going to get you the most out of your apparel. For example, embroidered trousers are extremely popular, and if you do not treat these as delicate, they will not last past one or two washings looking as good as they did when you bought them.

Laundering embroidered trousers safely means you will be getting more for your money as well as your time. Getting more is easy, but you have to take precautions to insure that special care is taken whenever you stay a load of laundry or starting folding your clean clothing.

The first step is insuring your washing machine is prepared for the delicate laundry. Run a complete cycle in the machine on maximum load with a cup of apple cider vinegar. This should get the ball rolling.

The second step is to remove the center piece if possible. Once removed, simply clean with dish soap and hot water in the utility sink. You will want to use a toothbrush, q-tips, and anything else you have on hand that will insure you get every nook and cranny. Once washed, rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.

The third step is to actually wipe down the washing machine inside and out. You will find you can clean the corners and around the lid with a toothbrush if needed. Wipe down the entire drum area with a moist, clean washrag.

If you happen to have rust issues in your household, you will find there are many rust removers that will aid you in this endeavor. Check out a local retailer for the best solution for removing rust from your washing machine.

Once you have thoroughly cleaned the whole washing machine, you will be able to reattach parts you took off, and you are ready to launder your embroidered trousers, shirts, or other apparel. A clean washing machine is going to insure your laundry is not coming out dirtier than when it went in. After all, you clean your kitchen sink and your bathroom? Why would you not clean your washing machine?

When it comes to actually laundering your delicates, a clean washing machine is a good place to start.

An important tip is you should not always rely on the label. Yes, the manufacturer's instructions may have worked for the pants or shirts, but you will find that those same instructions did not necessarily include the embroidery. If you are not sure, you can generally contact the company or manufacturer to see if the label includes that special beading. In addition, this is a good time to check out the customer service of the company you are using.

Many people choose to home wash their specialty items, but there are times when you need to seek the assistance of a professional dry cleaner. Never assume a dry cleaner will notice your beading or your stitchery. Instead, always plan on pointing out the finer points of those embroidered trousers, shirts, or other specialty clothes.
Are you moving to Las Vegas NV and looking for the perfect apartment to call you new home? Well there are lots of apartment complexes to choose from in the greater Las Vegas Area, so the task of finding the perfect one for you can be quite daunting. Here are some pointers to help you easily find your new home.

Know what you are looking for - This might seem obvious, but the better picture you have of what you want, the better and the faster that you will find the perfect Las Vegas Apartment for you. Apart from the obvious factors such as size, number of bedrooms, bathrooms and the onsite amenities such as parking, pool and laundry facilities, other important questions that can help you narrow your focus follow.

Know where you want to be to achieve the perfect balance between work, play, schools, shopping, restaurants and amenities so you don't waste your precious time in Las Vegas rush hour traffic. The Las Vegas area has great neighborhoods and shopping centers and many apartments are just a short distance away. One of the many benefits of apartment living in Las Vegas is the proximity to restaurants and activities and you should easily find an apartment that is within easy and convenient commute of your work.

Will you get good service? - There are several tell-tale signs that can clue you in to how of how well-run your property is. What are your first impressions of the exterior appearance, the office and the grounds? Be sure to tour common areas such as the laundry room. If you see liter or an untidy exterior appearance you should probably look elsewhere. Is the staff professional and courteous in their appearance and demeanor? Are they willing to accommodate any special needs like disability etc? Ask about routine maintenance and how quickly they handle service requests. Typical turn-around times for service request should be between 24-48 hours.

Know your budget - When renters first visit an apartment they're often swept away by emotional responses. The view from the living room, the beauty of the grounds, the fine-grain of the kitchen cabinetry and the spaciousness of the rooms - all can be quite intoxicating. Enjoy visualizing your beautiful new home but ask yourself what it's really going to cost you. Take care to consider the small stuff, like parking, water, gas, and electric. Ask about typical utility costs for your desired unit - both summer and winter. Remember, the bigger your apartment, the more it will cost you to keep it comfortable, especially in the hot summer months of Las Vegas. Also, check out the often overlooked hidden costs. Do neighborhood prices for groceries, gas, video rentals, laundry services etc meet your expectation?

Will you feel secure? - In the rush to find your perfect Las Vegas apartment rental, security is often an afterthought. And yet it's perhaps a more critical detail for you as a renter, especially with neighbors that you may have just met. Ask if the apartment performs a criminal background check on all applicants. Note features like night-time courtesy patrols and day night video cameras. These are great for easing your security concerns in choosing your perfect Las Vegas NV apartment.

Use this "Five Factor Formula" and you'll quickly find the perfect Las Vegas NV Apartment for you. Know what you want, know where you want it, look for good service and property management at a price that you can afford and pay attention to your security. Before you know it, you'll be watching the desert sun set from your Las Vegas Apartment. <bio>If you would like to discover more about affordable Las Vegas NV Apartments go to http://www.mylasvegasapartment.com NOW and Claim Your rental bonuses today!
Today when space is at a premium, the area available for your laundry may be very limited. By using clever space saving techniques and multi-purpose utility products you can organize your laundry room to look clutter-free and impressive.

Getting wall-cabinets to efficiently use the space available is a clever idea since it will not take up any of your floor space. You can store all of your cleaning material like soap, bleach, softener and stain removers in it and they'll be within easy reach, yet conveniently out of the way.

Putting up a few hooks in or below the cabinets will help create more space for storing things that can be hung. This way they will not take up shelf space. If you think wall cabinets are too expensive, wall shelves are also an attractive, yet affordable, alternative.

Use boxes to keep your shelves organized and clean. Remember to clear away empty bottles and products that have gone unused and have been sitting on the shelves too long. That way you free up more space and reduce the clutter.

It is also a good idea to organize your dirty clothes by using a laundry sorter, that way your clothes will already be in their proper place when you need to do them. You won't have to waste extra time sorting them yourself. You'll find it will save you time on your laundry day and keep all the dirty clothes neatly into sets that can go straight into the washer.

An iron is also a necessity. But you may not be lucky enough to have space for an ironing board. Using a collapsible, foldable ironing board can help save space. There are units available where the ironing board folds into a box or a drawer. Or consider a wall-mounted unit which will save you additional floor space.

Also, remember that the ironing board could be used for folding clothes once they are washed and dried. Foldable table tops are available which can be used for your folding and ironing purposes. In which case, it will fold up against the wall when not in use.

The space above the washer and dryer can be used to access a rod that maintains hung-clothing once it comes out of the dryer. It will provide you with a simple yet effective way to keep your clothing wrinkle-free. It could also be useful for clothes that can't go in the dryer and need to drip-dry.

Or if you have enough space you could use a clothes rack by the dryer as an alternative.

A small, compact dustbin near the dyer will be useful to collect the used dryer sheets and lint. A plastic container could be kept handy to store away any bills, coins, keys, paper and other items that get left behind in pockets.

And last but not the least, remember to keep your floor clean and make sure you have enough light so the room always looks warm and welcoming when you walk in.<bio>Tameka Norris has been living in small spaces since she was 10 years old.
You know how it goes....you have every intention of getting some cleaning accomplished during the day, only to find that by the time the kids are in bed, your house is no cleaner than when you woke up! How does time get away from us?

Here are five quick cleaning tips that any busy mom (or dad!) can incorporate into their day to clean their home a little bit each day.

1. Let the cleaning products do the work by pre-treating.

Instead of trying to speed up the cleaning process by quickly spraying a cleaning product and scrubbing away, spray a generous amount of cleaner onto the surface (tubs, shower walls, countertops, toilet seats) and walk away for five minutes while the cleaning product does the work. Most products work best when allowed to penetrate the stain and break down the grime and surface dirt. Take those five minutes to throw a load of laundry in the washer, change a diaper or wash some baby bottles. At the end of those five minutes, wipe the surface clean with paper towels and admire your work! You just completed two tasks in the time it takes to complete one!

2. Chunk like projects together.

As long as you have that bottle of glass cleaner and roll of paper towels in your hands, why not do all of the mirrors in the house one after the other. By not switching between cleaning products and cleaning tasks, you will actually save time because you will already have all of the necessary tools at your disposal. Switching between tasks, even in the same room, can sometimes take longer than simply completing the same task in each room in quick succession.

3. Let machines and technology work for you.

You only have ten minutes to clean before taking the kids to their playgroup? Use that time to set up your machines (i.e. appliances) so they can work for you during the time you are en route with the kids. Finish loading the dishwasher and turn it on. Switch the laundry and get one load drying while another one washes. Pre-treat surfaces with cleaning product while you cart the kids around. And finally, if you are fortunate enough to have a Roomba or Scooba, clear the floor and set up your virtual walls so that your floors will be clean when you get home!

4. Stash the right supplies in the right rooms.

Your bathrooms should all be stocked with a bottle of toilet cleaner, a toilet brush, paper towels, glass cleaner and all-purpose anti-bacterial cleaner. Kitchens should have an anti-bacterial dishwashing soap, dishwasher-safe brush for scrubbing dishes (no sponges!), anti-bacterial all-purpose cleaner for counters and surfaces and a standard glass cleaning product and paper towels for the front of ovens and diswashers. Instead of storing all of your cleaning products in one place in your home, assemble these cleaning kits in each room so you always have access to the appropriate tools.

5. Keep laundry going all day.

Too often, laundry is left to pile up until no one can find a clean pair of socks! Head off these laundry crises by maintaining the laundry pile everyday, all day....yes, all day! Start first thing in the morning by switching the laundry and starting a new load. Set up baskets for each person in the home who is old enough to fold and put away their own laundry and sort clean laundry as it comes out of the dryer. Let each person match their own socks and put away their own clothing. In the evening, put baskets outside each bedroom and have everyone load them up with dirty clothes and bed linens. Each morning, collect the clothes, sort, wash and dry and let your kids (if they are old enough) do the rest!

In general, quick cleaning comes from setting up systems that work in for your family. Setting up your environment for success is the first step toward success in any area, and by establishing routines and stocking rooms with the appropriate tools, you'll be able to take advantage of those precious few minutes every day to make a nice dent in your cleaning tasks! <bio>Jennifer Knox runs http://AutomaticMoms.Com, providing tips and ideas on how Moms (and dads!) can manage their time more effectively by automating tasks around the house and in their small businesses.
Soap nuts are natural soaps that grow on trees. These are the fruits of the tree called Sapindus. They do not contain any harmful chemicals and dyes or any other artificial fragrance. Sapindus grow in warm tropical regions and are native trees of India, Indonesia, Nepal and other South East Asian countries. They are easy to use and can be trusted for long term safety from any adverse chemical reactions on the body and nature.

A comparative study of the two can give a clear picture of what soap nuts can offer you in terms of a natural detergent. To begin with we can discuss the harmful effects of the chemical detergents.

CHEMICAL DETERGENTS: These laundry detergents and chemical soaps are made up of chemicals and toxins that may have some long term affects. These effects are listed below:

• The chemicals, dyes and artificial detergents which are used in the laundry detergents are harmful and used for cleaning clothes, these chemicals and dyes stay back within the pores of the fabric even after cleansing. When these clothes are worn, these chemicals come in contact with the body skin and enter into our blood and causes adverse reactions which are harmful to human body. When these toxins are exposed to sunlight, they release vapors giving us an unhealthy air to breath.

• The laundry detergents contain enzymes which are known to cause allergies and dermatitis.

• Sodium hypochlorite presents in the detergents cause lung irritation, respiratory reactions, and cardiovascular damage and damage your eye and skin.

• Nonylphenoxy Ethoxylates present in the detergents are responsible for increase in breast and prostate cancer. This particular chemical can also cause infertility and is a key ingredient in declining amphibian population.

• The chemicals in the detergent can cause premature wear and tear of the clothes.

When compared to these drawbacks of the laundry detergents, the soap nuts are actually blessings in disguise.

SOAP NUTS: The soap nuts are natural and do not contain any harmful chemicals or toxins. They have a natural chemical called Saponin. The Saponin present in high concentration (nearly 10-18%) acts as a natural detergents when comes in contact with water.

• These are 100% organic and bio-degradable.

• They have a natural anti-bacterial and anti-fungal action which destroys the harmful micro organisms.

• Due to the anti-microbial property, soap nuts are used for bathing and keep the skin smooth and germs free.

• The soap nuts do not cause any allergic affect on the skin because of the absence of enzymes and contains hypo allergic elements which prevent allergy.

• The detergent which goes out as end and waste has the antimicrobial properties which causes cleaning of the drainage and sewer system and thus becomes eco-friendly.

• This anti-microbial and hypo-allergic property of the soap nuts is good for people suffering from eczema and any other skin infection.

• They don't damage the linen fibers and protects color.

• Last but not the least they are re-usable.

Thus, when it comes to create a green and natural world, when it comes to the economical aspect, laundry detergents and the soaps are nowhere to stand in comparison to soap nuts. We need to decide.<bio>http://www.BuySoapNuts.com</bio>

The fragrance of lemon has been used in dish soaps, laundry detergents and even in household cleaners. Generally lemon fragrance is thought to be an indication that the dishes or clothes have been cleansed of the dirt recently. There are a number of other citrus fruits, but amazing to notice that it has taken so long for other fragrances to catch up.

Recently we got a few lemon and orange flavored toothpaste tubes. Body Shoppe, the joint famous for their aromatic oils, have started offering Satsuma oil, lotion and shower gel and that too with oozing fresh orange fragrance.

Orange scent is equally appealing as lemon to me. Lemon in reality is sour to taste and artificial lemon tang is not at all comparable to the natural tang. As far as orange fragrance is concerned its second only to those fleshy, ripe and revitalizing fruits brought directly from Florida groves.

Given a choice, I would definitely choose to have my laundry and home emit the fragrance of orange and have no second thoughts about it.

Only if the aroma and essence of lemon improves, it would be more appealing again. But as of now the orange tang and aroma is the finest and to me it gets the better of lemon's flavor and scent. Here is a great gardening related site http://www.verygreenthumb.com.

As a child, my most wanted candy was the one called Fruitella. You could have strawberry candy or a peach candy or the juicy orange flavored candy. It felt seriously divine to have these candies.

Now as a grown up, I always am on the search for that fresh orange aroma. But I always end up buying one more lemon aroma dish soap, laundry detergent, window cleaner and even toothpaste. (Orange is hard to procure, appears to be selling like hot cakes!).

For once, we were lucky to have found an orange scented bathroom spray and I ensure that I have a good stash of orange body oil. But my laundry soap has the lemon scent, I add lemon essence to chicken and you always find a lemon kind under the sink in kitchen.

Will grapefruit or even lime ever be popular as stimulating fragrances and essence? Orange has gradually become the choice of many manufacturers and marketers, thus capturing a miniscule part of lemon market. I hope the future will definitely provide us with aroma of fruits like watermelon, grape and may be even pomegranate!!! Meanwhile I buy orange whenever available and have nothing to choose from but lemon. Its time now to oust lemon dominance as the only fresh fragrance in the market, isn't it? <bio>Melissa loves working for: http://www.sdmdirectory.com http://www.massreleases.com </bio>

Organization. That's the key to leading a leisurely life. If you have a place for everything and put everything in its place, then you won't have to waste time looking for such things as your car keys, matching shoes for your shirt or dress, or papers that you need for work. And if you don't have to waste time looking for misplaced items, then you won't have to deal with the feelings of frustration or aggravation that always result from such activity!

Today, it is possible to purchase all kinds of shelves, racks, drawers and cabinets for every room in your house. You could always cobble together something on your own, of course, but the quality and utility of it will probably be better from a store-bought item.

Do you have a laundry room, complete with washer and dryer? Is it arranged to your satisfaction? If not, here's a few items designed specially for the laundry room. It all depends on how much space you have, of course, but the right items can at least double your space.

Wire shelving is one way to add that space to your laundry room. If the walls are of tile or for some reason you don't want to attach the shelving to them, you can get shelving designed to fit over the top of your washer. You can also find folding tables, specially designed for the laundry, on which you can sort and fold your clothes, and then fold and put away until next time. A laundry sorter with divisions for colors, darks and whites is also helpful. And of course the laundry room is probably where you store your mops and other cleaning material. Get a wall organizer from you can suspend all these items, and it will improve the look of your laundry.

Once you've finished washing your clothes, it's time to put them away in the appropriate closet. Alas, there's no way yet to teleport the clothing directly, so you do have to make the time for that. If there's enough room in your laundry so that you can fold the clothing into appropriate piles, that makes things easier, of course.

How's your closet? Are your shoes jumbled on the floor in an unattractive mass, and more often than not buried underneath clothing or bags or other items? For the guys out there, are your silk ties and belts mashed together in a single drawer?

Many systems exist to help you take care of your shoe collection, no matter how extensive it may be, from over-the-wall hangers that fit on the back of your closet door, to tilted floor shelves. You can even get a rolling shoe rack that you can slide underneath your bed, which will leave your closet floor completely empty.

Tie and belt racks, designed specifically for the purpose, will ensure that these items stay where you put them, and will make it easier than ever for you to choose the appropriate one. There are swing-out racks so that the ties or belts will nestle against the wall or door, swing out to give you easy movement while you make your choice for the day, and then swing back to give you room once more to look at your shirts or dresses.

Some people don't like to lay their slacks out in drawers. For these people, they can suspend their slacks on hangers of course, in amongst the dresses or shirts, or you can purchase a pants trolley which will roll right into and out of your closet for ease of use. Make sure you purchase a trolley made out of a sturdy metal or wood.

If you've organized your closet and still don't have room, it's time to move some of your clothing to storage. If you live in a location with clearly defined seasons, you can store away your winter clothing until it's needed again, for example. Airtight storage bags are the ticket here.

And finally, don't forget the little things. You don't want moths getting into your clothing! Moth balls, cedar blocks or herbal sachets are of use here, and of course the cedar blocks or sachets will give off a pleasant aroma. If you live in an area subject to damp, you'll want a closet moisture absorber to take care of that problem. <bio>Andrew Caxton is a consultant who writes on many consumer topics like closets for http://www.home-decorating-reviews.com.
