Popular magazines like Star and the National Enquirer report on the scandalous and interesting lives of our favorite celebrities. Most readers come to expect for Stars to be a little eccentric, as most creative and artistic people are. Even though I understand that those in Hollywood happen to live in a different galaxy than the rest of us, lately I've been getting the feeling that they live in a different universe all together. If you should disagree, I'll provide you with my top 3 reasons that Hollywood is a completely different universe.

Kevin Federline Is Considered a Better Choice as a Parent

Kevin Federline is known as many things, an unemployable former back up dancer, would be rapper, and a cad, who happened to leave his girlfriend while she was seven months pregnant. Most people cheered with glee when Britney Spears decided that it was time to put the kibosh on their tumultuous union. Yet, as of today if you ask anyone who they believe should be raising Sean Preston, and Jayden James, the two children he sired with Spears, most people would without hesitation say Federline. Only in Hollywood would Kevin Federline make the better parent.

Madonna Has Turned Into A prude

Though Madonna has moved to England, and adopted some weird hybrid British American accent, she is a major player in the entertainment community. Madonna is probably known for her sexy persona, and her ability to push the limits, sexual and otherwise. She has been romantically linked to some of the top players in Hollywood including Warren Beatty and Sean Penn.

Yet, the material girl turned mom has turned into a prude. She has stated that she will not allow her daughter Lourdes to date until she turns 18, and does not allow her 3 children to consume junk food or watch television. The woman who gained notoriety for videos such as Justify My Love and carved a career out of the visual medium has decided that television is trash? Does anyone but me see the irony in this?

Antonella Barber is News

What happened to the days of being famous for actually doing something? Antonella Barber, at least I believe that is her last name, I currently do not find her important enough to actually check, is making quite the stir this week. Antonella is the most likely contestant to be booted off American Idol as she sounds mediocre at best has made headlines for some racy photos making their rounds through the media including the internet.

Antonella, who had she any talent would have become famous for her singing but is now gaining notoriety for salacious photos that may be a marketing ploy on her part is doing what many other celebrity hopefuls do. She will become famous for being famous and not doing anything noteworthy at all. I'm hoping the hoopla will die down and an actual celebrity will begin to make headlines. <bio>Lisa James Reads Star Magazine and writes for Suscriba, a magazine subscription provider of Star Magazine Subscriptions. http://www.suscriba.com/pd_star.cfm </bio>

Celebrity Magazines such as Star Magazine and the National Enquirer make it their business to report on the love lives of celebrities. Up to the minute news and information on new relationships and couples who have called it quits. While celebrities are definitely different from us, it is definitely proven in the way they choose to end their relationships. Though sometime funny, celebrities can sometime choose the tackiest ways to end their relationships.

Breakups via television

Laura Dern and Billy Bob Thorton had dates for a few years and in fact were engaged. Unfortunately, for Dern, Thorton became smitten with Angelina Jolie on the set of their film Pushing Tin. The two married shortly thereafter but failed to inform Dern. She found out with the rest of the world as we watched in horror on one of our favorite celebrity gossip shows.

At the time, Laura Dern and Billy Bob were sharing a house. To make matters worse when Dern wanted to retrieve her things they were already boxed and put in storage, unceremoniously removed from the house the way Thorton removed her from his life.

Express Mail Break Ups

Sylvester Stallone dated model Jennifer Flavin but decided the relationship was not working for him. Unsure of how to break up with Jennifer, Sly decided to write a long heart felt letter to his girlfriend. Maybe because he was nervous about what her reaction would be Mr. Stallone decided it was best for him to be far away from Jennifer when she read the letter. The letter was delivered via express mail, and Jennifer found out the relationship was caput from the Federal Express Man.

Technology Driven Break Ups

We live in the information age, and it stands to reason that the demise of a relationship may take a futuristic turn. The world waited with baited breath for Britney Spears to end her marriage to Kevin Federline. Perhaps it is just a case of an individual getting their just desserts. The relationship between Britney Spears and Federline began when his girlfriend Shar Jackson was in her third trimester of pregnancy with his son. Perhaps Shar did not see it coming, but it is almost certain that Federline did not see it coming when Spears informed him that she wished to void their union via text message.

Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson were the darlings of MTV and famous for their television show Newlyweds. Unfortunately for Nick and Jessica their marriage could not withstand the strain or attention from the media. Rumors of a troubled relationship persisted for sometime before the couple called it quits Thanksgiving 2005. Rumor has it Jessica told Nick emailed the news to Nick.

Ending a relationship is usually never easy, whether you are famous or just a regular Joe. However, a break up should be done as painlessly as possible. Hopefully the next time Jess, Britney, or Billy Bob decide to break up with someone, the pages of Star Magazine or The National Enquirer will report that they at least did it in person. <bio>Lisa James is a writer for http://suscriba.com, seller of Star Magazine and other popular magazine subscriptions. </bio>

Oops! I may not do it again

May be Pop princess Britney Spears' new-year resolution. The toxic girl wants to come back in 2007, may be with an underwear covering her assets and ensuring bottomless days. Of course, a new album may be in the offing to strengthen her profession in 2007 after the last hit, Toxic.

Recently, the party girl's snaps appeared in leading press across the globe showing her partying without her underwear. She was seen along with celebrity socialite Paris Hilton.

Though Spears has admitted that she is taking the newfound freedom 'too far', the religious clerics around the world may take it seriously this time. She may be hinting that the recently announced divorce from husband Kevin Federline is ensuring more freedom to 'divulge'.

But the entertainers are still waiting to see more action from Kevin too, who threatens to 'divulge' more by showing a steamy video of the ex-couple. Since this video was taken during their family life, Spears, a mother-of-two, 25, who went on a shopping spree to buy more underwear, cannot do much now. Spears had filed for divorce from her husband of two years on November 6, 2006.

Her dancer husband, Kevin, is planning to sell x-rated homemade footage, which is said to feature the newly wedded couple's steamy activities on their honeymoon, to David Hans Schmidt, online porn seller.

But Spears has a solution to stop her estranged husband Kevin from raking in money. Spears may herself put the sex tape on the Internet and it may be free. The footage is reported to be worth up to £120 million. Spears, who became famous for her clean-cut, wholesome image in the early stages of her career, has already topped Yahoo!'s annual list of the most-searched names.

Since the birth of her first child, Spears' music career had taken a beating and Spears, who has sold over seventy-six million records worldwide, is trying for a come back with a cool, fun, and sexy video in 2007.

The recent divorce, pregnancy and two deliveries in 15 months, has not affected her revenue streams. The Britney Spears industry is still in demand. For instance, Spears endorsed a fragrance, "Curious", and earned a reported US$12 million. After one year of sales, Curious, which was named the best selling perfume of 2004, fetched more than US$100 million.

The next product endorsed by Spears, who is also making news with four books published including A Mother's Gift, was Elizabeth Arden fragrance, "Fantasy", in September 2005, and it was another big hit at department stores. Following the successful launch of Fantasy, Spears announced the launch of Curious: In Control, a limited edition perfume. Midnight Fantasy will hit the market in the near future.

Hope that her December 31, 2006 resolutions, which may be yet another midnight fantasy to have more hits in her career, come true that will help the world's music lovers to love her more. Spears ranks as the eighth best-selling female artist in American music history, and the entertainment industry wants her to come back with more hits after her Toxic. <bio>Article Written by Tulip4Heaven, author of http://www.desktopwallpapers.ws and http://www.myfreewallpapers.ws </bio>

Rebecca was struggling with 3 year old Kevin's screaming. Whenever someone didn't do what he wanted, he screamed and screamed, hoping to get his way. Rebecca had tried many different things to get Kevin to stop screaming, such as time outs, telling him to use his words, walking away and ignoring him, taking away toys and taking away events, such as a birthday party. A couple of times she had lost it and screamed back at him. Nothing was working to get Kevin to stop screaming. Even though screaming didn't work for him to get his way, he kept doing it.

As Rebecca and I discussed it in a phone session, it became apparent to me that Kevin and Rebecca were stuck in a power struggle, with Rebecca trying to get Kevin to stop screaming and Kevin doing everything he could to resist being controlled. We needed another tactic.

"Rebecca, the next time Kevin screams, do what I call 'prescribing the symptom.' This means that you say to Kevin something like, "Kevin, maybe you are not screaming loud enough. Maybe if you scream louder, you will get what you want." You need to say it in a light tone of voice, with no anger. Almost matter-of-factly."

The next time Kevin screamed, Rebecca did exactly that.

"Kevin looked at me like 'are you kidding me?' and screamed louder. So I told him that it must not be loud enough, so he screamed louder. When I told him it still wasn't loud enough, he looked at me like I was nuts and stopped screaming. He hasn't screamed like that since!"

So what happened here? What happened is that Kevin was screaming to not be controlled by Rebecca, as well as hoping to get his way. When she actually told him to scream, the only way he could not be controlled by her was to stop screaming! Her prescribing the symptom also pointed out to him the absurdity of screaming to get his way.

Prescribing the symptom can work for many behaviors:

"Maybe if you whine even more, you will get what you want."

"I don't think your temper tantrum is quite doing it. Maybe if you kick harder and cry louder, you will get what you want. I'm sure you can do better than this."

"You know, that's a pretty good pout. But it's not quite good enough. Maybe if you pout even more you can get what you want."

"You are putting up a pretty good argument. Maybe if you argue longer and louder, you will get what you want."

You need to be sure that you do this right away, before you feel angry or frustrated. You need to be able to keep it light. It is important for your child to see you calm rather than flustered. Sometimes kids act out just to feel the sense of control over their parents' behavior when their parents get angry and flustered. It can give children a sense of power to upset people so much bigger than them.

Fortunately or unfortunately, prescribing the symptom can work with adults too - adults who are acting like kids and going into resistance. Many people automatically resist as soon as they think someone is trying to control them and prescribing the symptom can work wonders with these resistant people.

It might even work with your self. If you find yourself reaching for the box of cookies when you have vowed to lose weight, telling yourself that maybe eating the whole box will make you feel better and solve whatever problem or feelings you are trying to avoid with the cookies might just stop you in your tracks, as it did with Kevin! <bio>Margaret Paul, Ph.D., best-selling author of eight books, including "Do I Have To Give Up Me To Be Loved By You" and co-creator of the powerful Inner Bonding healing process.
The music scene these days is overcrowded with many musicians that do not have very much singing talent at all. The days of pure singers are over, and they are now replaced with many different kinds of sounds that are enhanced and created with sophisticated recording equipment.

Even when you go to see a musical act in concert, chances are the singer's voice and/or music in general is prerecorded. Then the singer just lip syncs the words and many people never know the difference. What ever happened to singers like Elton John, Sting, and Celine Dion? Now we have to listen to Kevin Federline, Kelly Osborne, and man-made bands like 98 degrees. However there are a few musicians that are still putting out very good music, and are still quite popular. Josh Groban is a wonderful singer and he has a different sound.

Josh Groban is probably most remembered for his performance on the 2001 season finale of Ally McBeal. However he has also performed on many soundtracks for movies and some special events as well. Josh Groban has a different sound, because he does not depend on any special effects to make his voice sound as good as it does. He just uses his strong and pure baritone voice to belt out the notes and produce wonderful music.

Josh has put out two records that have gone multi-platinum already, because his sound is very different from the other options currently available. I believe the number one reason that Josh Groban is so successful is his music can be loved and appreciated by almost anyone. There are people all over the world that love his music and would do almost anything to see him in concert. Josh Groban is also very popular with millions of young women, because of his wholesome good looks.

I know that the landscape of popular music is destined to continue changing, but I believe that musical acts like Josh Groban will be able to stay popular no matter what trend pops up next. <bio>Visit http://www.joshgrobanlive.com/ for free Josh Groban Videos and Josh's new album - Awake. </bio>

We live in a celebrity obsessed culture. There are news programs devoted exclusively to the lives of stars, and weekly publications that report every facet of their lives both professional and personal. They are not allowed any measure of privacy. Camera people follow them on the most mundane of tasks, await them outside their homes to take photos that can be worth thousands of dollars and even rifle through their trash to find any snippet of information.

Common sense would tell someone in this situation that they must behave in a very respectable manner at all times living in the proverbial fish bowl. Yet, most celebrities don't seem to learn. Therefore I have compiled a list of tips that celebrities on the A, B, or even D list may want to follow.

Do Not Cheat On Your Spouse

This is not to say that they are supposed to be morally superior, or that they need to set an example. The simple truth is that with the increased level of scrutiny it is likely that they will get caught. Celebrities such as Brad Pitt, Ben Affleck, and Ryan Phillippe to name a few can attest to this. It is not a good idea of your spouse to learn of your wandering eye through the pages of Star Magazine.

Do Not Commit Any Crimes

Celebrity mug shots are the dreams of publishers of celebrity weeklies such as Star Magazine and The National Enquirer. There are websites devoted exclusively to embarrassing pictures of entertainers. Some favorites are those of Nick Nolte, Robert Downey Jr., Hugh Grant to name a few. Before the desire to pick up a prostitute, buy illegal drugs, or drive under the influence takes hold, remember every interview going forward will discuss the lapse in judgment and show the less than flattering photo provided in public records.

Do Not Lose or Gain Drastic Amounts of Weight

Most of us know that it is incredibly easy to gain weight as we age. Celebrities have no such luck. Every morsel that they consume must be monitored. A mere five pounds of extra weight gain can easily lead to false pregnancy or depression rumors. On the opposite end of the spectrum it is not unheard of for celebrities to be shamed into shedding pounds only to be questioned about their weight loss methods or about having an eating disorder once the weight loss becomes too drastic.

Do Not Marry Kevin Federline

This should be self explanatory; however, it appears that Britney Spears never got the memo. The level of criticism she received once she started to date the former back up dancer reached epic proportions. Though you should be able to date or marry whatever person you like, the same rules do not apply in the entertainment industry. Marrying Federline made Spears become a punch line. In this case the bad publicity did not bode well for her career. The rule in Hollywood for women seems to be that it is best to marry someone who has the same amount of power or more than you. In the case that your career takes off it is essential to upgrade to a more desirable spouse. Jennifer Garner and Katie Holmes are a great example of this.

Though it may seem unfair that those who choose the entertainment industry for a living have to live by a different set of rules, they do reap the rewards of their profession. Celebrities earn large amounts of money, often more in a year then many achieve in their lifetimes. They receive preferential treatment much of the time, receive complimentary expensive items when they can afford to pay. Perhaps it is fitting that they get themselves into such crazy situations. It makes life a bit more fair. <bio>Lisa James reads http://www.suscriba.com/pd_star.cfm and is a writer for Suscriba, seller of http://www.suscriba.com/pd_star.cfm and other http://www.suscriba.com/pd_star.cfm. </bio>

"Can you give me some feedback on my website?" a life coach named "Kevin" asked his e-zine subscribers. "I just revised my site - -finally!"

Naturally, I couldn't resist clicking over to see what Kevin had done. I knew Kevin was a thoughtful coach with a reputation for high integrity.

Kevin's new site cried out for a re-makeover. He had paid a designer to get drop-down menus and a bit of flash. As a result, Kevin admitted, "I have no budget to pay a copywriter."

Ouch.

After skimming a few pages of the site, I emailed Kevin. "Who is your target market? What do you offer? How are you unique?"

Kevin replied, "I asked for feedback. I don't have time to answer a lot of questions. And everyone tells me the site looks professional."

Okay. I can take a hint.

Sure, the site looks professional. But Kevin admits he's in trouble. So far, he's gotten nothing but compliments -- no orders and no calls.

What can we learn from Kevin?

(1) Copywriters can save you money.

Often I (and other experienced copywriters) can save clients money on web design. Kevin didn't need all those bells and whistles. In fact, some Internet marketing gurus claim they do more harm than good.

And Kevin didn't understand HTML, let alone CSS. A copywriter might serve as go-between, translating Kevin's requirements into web design language. Your web designer saves time - which translates into saving money.

(2) Copywriters help you earn money.

Reading between the lines, I discovered Kevin could be a stand-out. He has developed an innovative 5-step process to help clients overcome obstacles and take charge of their lives.

But Kevin doesn't realize why he's unique, so his website reads like five thousand other life coaching sites: vague promises of "take your life to the next level," "discover what's important to you" and "enjoy the work you love."

Naturally I'm disguising the details of "Kevin's" story, but I really don't have to. Hundreds (maybe thousands) of sites sound just like Kevin's.

(3) Copywriting is collaborative.

Like Kevin, my clients often think they can show me a few pages of a website and say, "Make it sell!" Copywriting requires energy and planning, whether you're a do-it-yourselfer or a firm believer in outsourcing to a specialist.

My clients often invest many hours answering my questionnaire. As they write, they often realize there's a hole in their business strategy. Or they're sitting on buried treasure.

Until I know what Kevin wants to do with his website and his business, I can't make realistic recommendations - even as a casual ezine reader. I need to evaluate Kevin's copy in the context of Kevin's own goals, target market and unique selling proposition.

Kevin could do this himself. But, like most busy business owners, he didn't want to invest the time. And he wasn't sure what questions to ask.

When clients hire me, we have the luxury (and fun!) of creating a marketing message that hits the target market squarely in the center of the bull's-eye.

Bottom Line: Websites deliver messages. Without a message, a website is a calling card - nice when you have more business than you can handle.

Most of the time, revising copy brings traffic and sales. Websites typically earn back the copy investment with just a few new clients, not to mention saving energy and funds by avoiding a makeover to recover the makeover.

And one day you realize you're not getting compliments... but you *are* getting sales. **************** About The Author **************** Cathy Goodwin, Ph.D., helps solo-preneurs, professionals and small businesses build Internet revenues -- without turning themselves into techies or high-powered pushy sales people.
Renegade Water Secrets with Mike Adams, founder of naturalnews.com.

Kevin: Let's switch gears here and this is probably an even bigger topic. I get so many questions about filters and that's one of the reasons why I decided to put together this program, because people are really confused about water filters. They're confused about distilled water. They're confused about reverse osmosis. They're confused about carbon filters. Let's talk a little bit about all of those and what have you seen that's working in terms of the specific types of filters and then we'll talk about the different brands that maybe you've done some independent research on.

Mike: Okay.

Kevin: What are the pluses and minuses of each one?

Mike: Okay, sure. Well, the most important thing in all this, I think, is just use some filter. Let's just start there. Some people end up hesitating, a deer in the headlights situation and they don't buy any filter, because they don't know which one to buy. That's worst case, because you definitely want to filter. The second thing is, don't forget the shower. I think we actually absorb more toxic chemicals from the water and the shower than we would drinking tap water and that's because first of all, there is lot more water rushing over your body, because I might take a shower in 10 gallons of water, but you're sure not to drink 10 gallons of water. Secondly, the hot water, of course, opens your pores. So it makes your pores able to absorb all the chlorine and all these other chemicals that could be in the water. So I think for many people, the shower is if not the first place to start it certainly should be high in list. You've got to have a shower filter and then of course, a drinking water filter at the same time. So I think there's two filters that are necessary. In my own home, Kevin, I use reverse osmosis in my kitchen and then I use basically, a carbon block filter from Aquasana, which also has some material that in it that absorbs the VOCs, the volatile organic chemicals and that takes care of everything I'm concerned about the shower and I've also started to carry a shower filter with me when I travel. As you go to a hotel or resort -- I was saying in a condo in Florida a couple weeks ago doing some work there and I brought a shower fertile filter with me and it was a good thing, too, because they use a lot of chlorine down there.

Kevin: Okay.

Mike: So pack it in your luggage and bring it with you and you can quickly install it in a hotel. Just be sure not to forget and leave it there. Take it back home with you.

Kevin: The thing about the shower filters, they're not that expensive.

Mike: Not at all. No. I mean $70 or $80?

Kevin: Yeah.

Mike: The cartridge usually lasts a year?

Kevin: Yeah.

Mike: Which is amazing to me that they can absorb that much material over that long of a period of time.

Kevin: I know.

Mike: The cost is really quite low.

Kevin: Why did you choose reverse osmosis?

Mike: Well, I like the way the system is configured, because it can generate water ahead of time.

Kevin: Okay.

Mike: Then there's a tank under the sink. I also like the fact that RO gets the particulate matter in the water down to very low number. For me, I think it's down to 40 ppm right now and that's a pretty good number. It means to have a base water to work with, because I don't expect my water to really have minerals and it and if I'm going to add minerals I'm going to blend it with some organic celery, for example, or other super fruits and things like that. That's how I get my minerals. I don't really want minerals in my water. I could have gone with water distillation, but the reason I don't like that, Kevin, is it takes so much energy to distill water and I think it's bad for the environment.

Kevin: Okay.

Mike: You think about the energy it takes and the electricity it takes and how much coal is being burned down the road, just to boil that gallon of water. That's too much. I know some people would say well, what about reverse osmosis. It wastes so much water. It wastes 5 gallons of water, typically, for every 1 gallon that it produces. I understand that, but that's a conscious decision. I think that wasting water is less bad for the environment than burning coal to boil water. You really can't waste water. I know you can waste fresh water, but that water isn't gone. It goes back in the environment and it comes back around later. We can still drink it later.

Kevin: It's not like you're adding anything to it that would poison the environment more.

Mike: Exactly. It's not like it's leaving the planet. It's here.

Kevin: Right.

Mike: We just have to clean it again.

Kevin: Right. You're not shipping it off to Mars.

Mike: Right. If we were losing water we'd be in real trouble on earth.

Kevin: Yeah, I know. I know some people can't afford the high ticket filters. The $300 and $400 and $600, $1,000 filters. What do you think about some of the stuff that you can buy at the store? Say you go to Kmart or something like that and there's a Brita filter or something like that.

Mike: I think it's a great place to start. I really do.

Kevin: Okay.

Mike: There's not a lot of stuff that Kmart or Wal-Mart that I recommend, but this is one of them. Pur or Brita is the other popular brand. These are great. They really do work. They remove a lot of these dangerous chemicals. On the issue of money, Kevin, I don't want some blunt or inconsiderate or insensitive, but the fact is people can afford these things. It's just a question of priorities. I've had people come into the health clinic and they've spent $15,000 on in vitro fertilization with drugs and needles and it didn't work and then they complained about having spent $60 on acupuncture that might actually restore their fertility. People spend money on Starbucks coffee, $1000 a year. People spend money and all kinds of crazy stuff. You've got the money, believe me. You've got the money to buy water filters. It's just a question of whether it's important to you. That's all. If you think you can't afford it, well, disconnect your cable. You save $50 or $60 a month right there. Disconnect cable and get yourself a water filter. It's better to not poison your body than it is to poison your brains from cable TV, isn't it?

Kevin: I haven't had TV in years.

Mike: I know.
The Fountain of Youth World Summit with Giles Wiley, an exercise and movement specialist and author of "Five-Minute Flexibility".

Kevin: Sure. What are some of the most powerful resources that you found? Maybe one or two that you found, that help you bring yourself to this sort of knowledge and wisdom on flexibility?

Giles : Yeah, I mean, I've had, I've been blessed really. I've had some incredible teachers over the years. And,

Kevin: Mm hmm.

Giles : I've trained with some amazing people. But do you mean resources as far as books go, Kevin?

Kevin: Yeah. Books are fine, yeah.

Giles : I have a couple of Jeff Thompsons's books and definitely, if you haven't listened to Jeff's interview yet, you need to listen. Jeff's interview is about overcoming fear. And moving beyond fear in your life. And I really feel that's a huge part of moving forward as far as flexibility goes, as far as realizing your full physical potential, whether it's weight loss, or whatever it is. It's about getting out from your comfort zone, facing that fear and just moving a little bit beyond. Because on the other side of that fear, on the other side of that curtain, as Jeff refers to it, it is an absolutely amazing place.

Kevin: Yeah.

Giles : So, I would say, first start by addressing fear, and you know, I think Jeff is best in the world when it comes to addressing that issue. Next, I would encourage everybody to think about starting to practice some form of meditation.

Kevin: Mm hmm.

Giles : And the contract-release exercise that we did earlier. It's a great way to start off any meditation session. And it only needs to be five, ten minutes. Doesn't need to be sitting for an hour at
the top of a mountain, or for days at the top of a mountain.

Kevin: Sure. [Laughs]

Giles : And it can be five, ten minutes. Just practice taking a deep breath in, holding it, feel how your tension builds up in the body when you hold your breath, exhale, let it go. Most people don't breathe throughout the day. You know, you can see it on their faces. They are holding their breath in the whole time. So focus on your breath. Then focus on contracting your muscles. Practice tensing your feet, then your calves, then your thighs, then your buns, then your abdomen, your shoulders, [and] your fists, [and] your face, scrunch them up [and] let them go. Practice that, and if you do that ten times, and then go into a few moments of meditation, you're going to start to feel huge huge differences in the tension you're holding in the body and the tension you in your life. I would then encourage everybody to start thinking of their exercise session a little differently as well.

Starting [could] exercise session is a charge to play, to go through relaxed flowing movements, to practice putting your body through its full range of movement. So, you know, reaching to your toes if you can, but also reaching to the side, reaching to the back. Don't be constrained like we are in our daily lives, where we're just looking straight ahead, where we're sitting down. So just get up and get moving.

And, yeah, maybe think about, if you're really struggling to let go of the tension, maybe think about getting a massage as well, cause that often, it can often just help by identifying where you're holding key areas. And if they're very good massage therapists, they're going to talk you through it as well.

Kevin: Fantastic.

Giles : So, I think EFP, probably overlaps very much with what I've been talking about.

Kevin: Oh yeah! That's my, [Laughs] that's one of my secret weapons. [Laughs]

Giles : [Laughs] Yeah, I think that very much does. And, [see if] you want to get yourself along to a couple of yoga classes and just see how they go for you, [if] not for everybody.

Kevin: Yeah.

Giles : You know, just go on along, give it a go, if anything, if nothing else, it'll get you at least moving and breathing in the right way.

Kevin: Sure.

This has been just awesome information. I'm excited this message is very easy to understand, one, and two, I think it's ground-breaking in terms of what you can do in so little time. We're all pretty busy, aren't we? You know? [Laughs]

Giles : Thank you. That's why it had to become five minutes, I mean, you know, our life is very very busy these days. But my clientele, I mean, my clientele work long hard hours, and

Kevin: Yeah.

Giles : Maybe [more as results goes]. So, if it's going to take more than five minutes, it's just no way they're going to do it.

Kevin: Yeah. Yeah. So, why don't we do this? Why don't you tell us a little bit about your book now? We,

Giles : Yes.

Kevin: We've gotten a lot of great content. You know, no one's going to say that we didn't get your great content in this call. And Giles, go ahead and tell us about your book, and you know, what someone can find there and who is it going to benefit the most.

Giles : Yeah. The book's "Five-minute Flexibility".

Kevin: Mm hmm.

Giles : And one of the best places to find out more about it is FiveMinuteFlexibility.com. It's a pretty comprehensive book. It's been a mammoth project. It's kind of fifteen years of work.

Kevin: Wow!

Giles : An endeavour in many ways. And what was the challenge was putting it together. So was a real usable system. I wanted it to be very simple to follow. I wanted it to be that if you were feeling
stiff and tight in your neck, maybe had a tension headache, you could go to one page and suddenly get some quick fixes.

Kevin: Mm hmm.

Giles : But also, there're sample routines that you can follow every morning or before you play golf or tennis et cetera.

So, the book, and also, I encourage everybody also if they can, subscribe to my
newsletter if they want to find out more of my types of exercises and my techniques.

Kevin: Mm hmm.

Giles : And that's the Wiley Way, WileyWay.com is my newsletter. And, I giveaway lots of great tips in that as well.

Kevin: Mm hmm. It seems to me, and correct me if I'm wrong, and I've got some of your stuff, and seen you in action doing some of the flexibility stuff. But this is a way of life, more so than a way of, you know, flexibility. So it almost seems to me that this is five minutes that you can take in your day to
not only improve your flexibility, which is kind of a benefit, but it also improve the way that you think about things. Is that correct?

Giles : Yes. It is. And it's interesting because that wasn't what I was really setting
out to do.

Kevin: [Laughs]

Giles : But it's starting to appear more and more, I mean, I'm getting letters from people saying how it's improved their energy, it's improved their relationships because of that, you know what I mean? It's very interesting,

Kevin: [Laughs]

Giles : How it's overlapping into so many different areas. And I actually say at one point in the book - it's in the introduction - I say it's called "Five-minute Flexibility", but it could just as well been called "Five Minutes to Releasing Muscle Tension", "Five Minutes to Developing Your Mind-Muscle
Connection".

Kevin: Yeah.

Giles : Cause, really, we shouldn't compartmentalize things quite the way I feel that we tend to.

Kevin: Yeah.

Giles : Everything is connected. Everything is connected, so yes this is, I love what you said here, Kevin. This is really [is just] about a way of life.

Kevin: Well, that's fantastic! Well Giles, I want to thank you for this interview. This has just been, this has been a pleasure. It's been really exciting, and informative.

Giles : Great!
The Fountain of Youth World Summit with Rick Wilkes, EFT specialist and founder of thrivingnow.com.

KEVIN: What about, you know, and I think that some of your body worked deals with this because you were a massage therapist. What about someone who has surgery for something, say, for a knee injury or an elbow injury or a shoulder injury, and the doctor says to them, "Look, you're not going to ever regain full range of motion?" Like, what can EFT do for someone who has experienced something like that, because I think this is one of the most fascinating things about it?

RICK: Oh it is. First of all, acknowledge that....

KEVIN: Oh, before you even say this, I want to say please to everyone out there. Please listen to this with an open mind because I know that some people might discount some of this stuff right off the bat, but please listen to this because there's countless of examples for what it's worth.

RICK: Oh, I don't have problem with skepticism.

KEVIN: Yeah, yeah, yeah.

RICK: In fact, I came to EFT not only as a massage therapist which to some may feel pretty squishy.

KEVIN: A-ha. Yeah.

RICK: I'm an electrical engineer and technologist by training.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: I have decades of experience working with computers and designing processes and systems that need to work consistently and robustly and for me, EFT, if it did not provide the kind of consistent results that an engineer would find appealing, well, hmm, I wouldn't be interested.

KEVIN: Ha! That's a great point.

RICK: So, when I look at the energy of something, if I am in a doctor's office and maybe half-dressed, feeling scared and a doctor says to me a long list of possible side effects of a medication or that these are the things that may go wrong or that may never would be restored as part of this surgery, we are in an altered state of consciousness.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Anytime that we're in the presence of somebody that has authority, don't we all feel a little bit different than our calm and confident self?

KEVIN: Yeah, absolutely.

RICK: Yeah. So let's just first take the reality that doctors are now required to give you a whole slew of bad news that doesn't apply to 99.9% of the people but they're required by law to give you all this information in the interest of "informed consent."

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: OK. Now, they also are looking at your body in a particular light. They do not necessarily appreciate the kind of intelligence that's at work in the natural healing process because they come in at a point where your natural healing processes had been disturbed.

KEVIN: Sure.

RICK: They don't even know what you might be capable of regenerating in terms of range of motion, flexibility, regeneration of the health and vitality of the joints of your body. So I'll give you an example. It's a personal example. I had back surgery, L5-S1 discectomy in 1999.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Now, I have spent a year in pretty intense pain before that surgery. I did not recover nearly as quickly as the doctor had said might be typical. But today, having used EFT and all the limiting beliefs about what that back injury might mean to me, the limitations that it might put on my flexibility, everything that I've heard about it. Today, my spine feels to me the healthiest it has ever felt. My spine at 13 was not nearly as healthy and vital as it is today. I am doing Zumba which is, if you are familiar with it, is a pretty high-intensity aerobics based upon Latin dance moves.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Well, there's a lot of shaking of the low back and sacrum as part of Zumba.

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: And before I went to that class, there were some limiting beliefs about what was possible in my body that I addressed with EFT.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: Today, I went to the class much more calm and confident and I'm seeing my body respond in a way that is certainly out, way outside the curve of what you normally see from people that had an L5-S1 surgery, even 7 or 8 years ago.

KEVIN: Got you. And why don't you take us through to some of the things that you addressed with having, because I think, I think having a blueprint is so important because, you know, there's probably a lot of people out there who have had certain injuries or certain, they have been told that they are limited. And why don't you take us through a process that can say "Hey, you know, this is what you might want to attempt to do, you know, just try it and see what happens."

RICK: Now, I suggest that first, people be comfortable with the idea of baby steps.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: We're not necessarily going to jump right out of a plane, OK? There is an evolutionary process. If you want to be a skydiver, they are going to take you to ground school.

KEVIN: Yeah.

RICK: And, what I say is, OK. What is this first limitation that you think you that have, based upon this surgery? And one of them that immediately came to mind is "I have to be careful."

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: A-ha.

KEVIN: Great. Yeah. OK.

RICK: So, I felt like, "Ahh, I've got to be careful. I don't want to reinjure myself."

KEVIN: And be careful in terms of just anything, correct?

RICK: Anything.

KEVIN: Yeah.

RICK: Right. Anything. I have to be careful. There is this sense of "Hmm, I really can't explore the edges of experience. I have to be in a more narrow comfort zone." So, I did some tapping even though I feel like I have to be careful.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: I'm open to the possibility that my back is stronger and more flexible than ever.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: Alright. And as I did the tapping around, feeling the need to be careful, what I felt was my comfort zone expanding. Now that didn't mean that I immediately left to doing breakdancing.

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: Right?

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: What I did is I started to explore. I started doing some dance around my studio. I put on some music, I started exploring the movement. Now the next thing that came up, Kevin, was when I was sore the next day. Now, who doesn't try something new and feel a little sore the next day, right?

KEVIN: Yeah.

RICK: But if you've been through a year of chronic pain or you're just starting to move back into a more vital activity, well, you're going to be sore, and yet it triggered a sense of uh-oh. There was just a sense that there was no logical reason for it. My doctors aren't telling me "Don't do this." Never go against the doctor who is saying "don't do this" during the early stages of recovery.

KEVIN: Sure. Yeah.

RICK: You know. We're not suggesting that you be stupid.

KEVIN: Yeah.

RICK: But your body has an intelligence and as you soothe the energy around it, like uh-oh. Once I soothe that energy, guess what, when I put my hand on my back, my back said "Oh, I feel good." I said "Really?" It said "Yeah." It is a little bit sore but we weren't working on some scar tissue here, Rick. We're just loosening that up. It's starting to feel pretty good." And I said "Well, OK. What might help soothe you a little bit?" And my back said, "Well you know, a little warm compress might feel really good right now." And I went and took a nice hot bath and I put some warmth on my back and my back said "Oh, that's really good." Now here is the key. EFT helped clear the noise, this fear. And then, you're listening to your own body's intelligence.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: You're not trying to force your body to take huge leaps because "I have something to prove." That's not the way the body's intelligence works. What it is, is if the noise is up, the fear is up, soothe that using EFT and then very intelligently listen to your body and say, "Well, what would be good for you right now?" Oh, five minutes of dance and movements.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Maybe a couple of jumping jacks might be good. "Hey look at me, I'm more strong and vital than I thought." How about doing a gastroc stretch.

KEVIN: Uh-hmm.

RICK: I haven't been able to do that for a long time. That feels pretty good. How many should I do? Three? Well. Why not 12? I'm going to push it to beat the - that's where another aspect of this can be helped with EFT. That sense that you're having to fix yourself; the sense that, "Well, I was broken before and now I have something to prove."

KEVIN: Huh.

RICK: That is just as much of a block to you, really enjoying your body, Kevin, if you're feeling limited. It's the whip aspect that so many people who want to be at peak performance, believe that you have to really push beyond, push beyond. If somebody is a pusher like that and they find themselves repeatedly being injured in little or big ways, that's an area to deal with with EFT as well. What's the belief that says you have something to prove rather than a life to enjoy.<bio>To read the rest of this transcript as well as access The Fountain of Youth World Summit experts just like Rick Wilkes please click here! Kevin Gianni is an internationally recognized health advocate, author and film consultant.
Kevin Trudeau is a man of mystery solving. Solving the mysteries of healthy living through his best selling books on natural cures and home remedies. He has a lot of readers that claim they live healthier, happier lives because of what he has taught them in his books. Revealing the truth, so they say.

He is really coming out into the forefront of the media as one of the most popular gurus at combating obesity. He will be revealing not only what has caused it, why it is so widespread, but also how to stop it.

Kevin Trudeau has had obesity problems of his own in the past, and feels this as a personal interest in this subject. He used a system that was developed in the 1950s in Great Britain. This system helped him to lose 45 lbs in just 42 days while keeping his health in top condition. He wants to share these methods with his fans and the world. He says he will promise to help you burn fat more effectively than any other diet around. He says that fad diets, expensive gym fees and trainers, and all the dietary fads have failed you and with him, you will succeed.

I bet you are wondering how this system works, and what it is. Well, let's find out. In the 1950s, Dr. A.T.W. Watson of Britain developed this system. A person who is obese is given the proper medical treatment and then is advised with some guidelines that will ultimately shed pounds. Using this therapy, you are supposed to be able to lose weight quickly and easily. There has been a study that has shown people to be more fit and noticed changes in their shape. They were also found to have fewer unhealthy food cravings.

Well, since it has hit the market, his program has become very popular with those who have fought a lifetime of obesity. Trudeau does stress that his method have been tried and tested in double-blind studies and shown to work. He believes in it not only because of the tests but also because of his own success with it.

Kevin has another book out on the market that seems to be good information on Debt Cures. But this information is any information you can find on the Internet. It covers the basics of debt, credit scores and so on. You are led throughout the first half of his book to the two words that are his secret to. Kevin would hype up these two words big time and they are to help you protect your credit. I know, I know, you want to know what those two words are. Well, not telling you yet. This is something that can ruin your credit report and credit score faster than anything on the planet. This will put your life in turmoil and cause you financial ruin if you don't protect yourself. Ok, now you are still waiting for these two words. Well, hold on, Kevin made you wait 12 whole chapters; I only have a few paragraphs here.

Ok, where was I? Oh..Yeah, so, Kevin recommends you check your credit report often and monitor it so you can protect yourself from=85ok=85here it comes=85. ready? It is I------- T----! Can you believe it? Ok=85so you I didn't really need to put it in code like that. I am sure you know what it is. But I can't really give away what it is Kevin's book, now can I? You will just have to read it to see if I am right.

Anyway, I am not saying anything bad or good about Kevin Truduea and his books and secrets. He does a lot of research and he believes what he is saying is true. He is also making millions upon millions "exposing" the medical field and the government of all their "secrets" and "hidden agendas". So, the choice is yours my friend. Do your research; there are ways to find out his secrets, too.

There are more weight loss systems than you could ever count on the market today. There are people who suffer from obesity and have tried and failed over and over again. Some are even dangerous and have caused irreparable damages. This what Trudeau says makes his different. His methods are to be safe and effective and will fight the obesity problem. <bio>Brian Garvin and Jeff West are the owners of http://www.joinbrianandjeff.com.
Renegade Water Secrets with Mike Adams, founder of naturalnews.com.

Kevin: Well, Mike, I want to welcome you to this call.

Mike: Hey, Kevin.. It's great to be here. Thanks for having me join this program.

Kevin: It's an absolute honor and there are probably a few people who don't know who you are, or maybe haven't heard of some of the stuff that you've done before. So why don't we give everyone just a brief introduction and then we'll move right into the water aspect. We have a lot of stuff to cover today.

Mike: Okay, sure. Well, I'm the founder and editor of naturalnews.com. It's a website to reaches now well over a million readers a month with news, headlines, alerts, warnings about everything to do with natural health and the benefits of natural medicine and the potential dangers of pharmaceuticals and conventional medicine. It's just a great informational resource. I love doing that.

Kevin: If anyone hasn't gone over there to naturalnews.com you'll find a whole bunch of great stuff and it's nice to read some of it, because it's very refreshing. That's what I found.

Mike: We can pull our punches. We tell it like it is and I try to maintain a lot of informed skepticism about what I'm writing about, so I'm always doing independent product reviews and things like that to the readers.

Kevin: We're going to talk a little bit about skepticism, because we've already prepped for this call, but what I want to start with is, since we're talking about water I want about talk about something is so prevalent in our media now and probably will be for a while and it's the use of plastic as applied to water. So water bottles, even in cooking or microwaving plastic containers and all that, let's talk about some of the things that we should be concerned about when we're dealing with plastic bottles.

Mike: Well, I think people are very well aware of the Bisphenol A danger, BPA as it's called. There has been a lot of press recently about this chemical in plastic bottles and baby bottles. Did you hear that, I think it was Toys "R" Us is going to stop selling baby bottles made with that chemical now?

Kevin: Wow.

Mike: That was an interesting development, but like a lot of stories in the press it's very hard to put into context. I think people need to be aware of the proper context for this potential risk. Yes, these plastic bottles contain BPA. Yes, if you drink water that's vigorously shaken in these bottles, which it all is done during shipping, by the way and you do that for 10 or 20 years, then sure, it probably increases your risk for cancer, but I want to make people aware that drinking a can of soda is far more toxic, probably orders of magnitude more toxic to your body than drinking a bottle of water from a plastic bottle. Eating food that was cooked in Teflon, in my view, is orders of magnitude more toxic than drinking something of a plastic bottle or eating hydrogenated oils or fried foods or things like that or smoking a cigarette. You could probably drink a thousand bottles of water that were from plastic bottles and it would be less toxic to you than smoking one cigarette. So you've got to put this into perspective. I drink out of plastic bottles from time to time. It's not my first choice, but I do it when I'm traveling and I don't freak out about it.

Kevin: Yeah. I know that the number seven bottle has come under fire recently. Is that the only one to be somewhat concerned about, or is it across the board?

Mike: No. It's across the board.

Kevin: Okay..

Mike: As I understand it, the lower the number the more toxic the bottles can be. You don't want to drink of the really cheap bottles, which are often number two or number three. The seven is better than the lower numbers and you certainly don't want to be feeding your baby -- really, if there's one area to be legitimately concerned, it's with infants and children, but as an adult if you are taking a lot of anticancer nutrients and you're eating sprouts and you're taking some super foods, you're exercising and getting vitamin D, then the occasional drink out of a plastic bottle is nothing to be alarmed about.

Kevin: What about alternatives, like the stainless steel water bottles, or say, something like a glass lined thermos?

Mike: I think glass is great to drink out of. That's what I usually do. I even take that to the gym, even though they don't like the fact that I'm carrying around a glass bottle.

Kevin: Right.

Mike: For obvious reasons, but some people are drinking out of aluminum bottles, which I think is crazy. How is aluminum better than plastic? Stainless steel is definitely the better way to go in all of this. When you get stainless steel you want steel that has low nickel content, because there are different types of stainless steel. They're made with chromium and nickel and whatever and they're all alloys. So you want low nickel content, because everything that's in that steel, eventually some of it gets in your body and nickel is not a great nutrient to have in large quantities for sure.

Kevin: Right. Do you know how you would know if it's got low nickel? I guess a hip company would put that out there.

Mike: You can go online and search for the stainless steel number. For example, a lot of stainless steel is number 420 or something. The 420 means that it has a certain percentage, I think like 5% nickel and 13% chromium or something like that. I don't know the exact numbers, but I know you can find it. So find out the stainless steel number. Like stainless steel number 380 or 420 or something like that.<bio>Kevin Gianni the host of "Renegade Health Show" a fun and informative daily health show that is changing the perception of health across the world.
The Fountain of Youth World Summit with Rick Wilkes, EFT specialist and founder of thrivingnow.com.

KEVIN: Yeah, and let' talk about EFT. We've had a primer with Carol Look's information - more than a primer - and so I want to get into some other applications about EFT because I use the technique. I've used with my clients. I'm not even EFT master. I've just taught them how to do it. That's one of the fantastic things about this whole EFT thing. So, why don't you tell me a little bit about, you know, how you got into this and then we will go on and talk about EFT for pain.

RICK: My background, Kevin, is as an energy worker and body worker, massage therapist. One of the things I noticed in anyone who works with the human body can detect that it stores pain and emotional traumas in the tissue of the body. And the way that we release that, you can do that through physical activity, through dance, through body work, through meditation. There are many different ways of healing the body's energy system but I was looking for a very direct way that you could take a particular energy by the hand, a particular physical pain, a particular limitation in the body's belief about itself.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: And shift that quickly. And I wanted something that would allow people to do that for themselves in addition to working with me.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: And that's how EFT - I ended up finding it through the internet and it was a perfect fit. It fit like an old shoe because when you really look at combining the power of an affirmation with the body component, that's really what we're doing with EFT. We're accessing certain accupoints, by that I mean points on the body which are natural comfort points that have been known, yes, in Chinese medicine, but there are also places that people are naturally drawn to. Rubbing their face, rubbing the - and putting our hand over the base of their throat when they have a shock.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: These are natural comfort points. And by intentionally activating them, we can relieve the body not only of emotional pain and the trauma of specific memories, but we can take us from feeling OK in our body, maybe a little bit of discomfort to a place where our body is really tuned and ready to perform at its peak.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: That's what excites me. Not just the relief of pain that's keeping you sitting on the couch, but maybe some belief that "maybe my body is not in tune with being able to walk a half-a-mile or go on a vacation that I want to go on or learn to ski or snowboard."

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Whatever it is, EFT can help tune our energy system to be receptive to growing and restoring youthful vitality regardless of what our age is - whether we are in our 70's or we're 17. Our body usually starts building up some limiting beliefs about itself based upon old injuries, old thoughts, things that we've seen in our mirror and things that other people have commented to us about.

KEVIN: And what are some of those limiting beliefs that you've heard of? I mean, does it have to deal with surgery? Does it have to deal with, you know, just past fears of activity or, what have you encountered?

RICK: Well, I'll give you two examples.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Let's say somebody is growing up in junior high school, and they're in physical education class, and they're challenged to do chin-ups, OK?

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: And they can't do one. Their body is just not mature enough and they don't have the physical strength, and they get ridiculed for being a wimp, you know.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: The way that you can tell whether something is still having an impact on your future and your present is to remember that specific event and see whether you just kind of like "Oh yeah, that was then."

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: There's nothing there. But if you remember any event from your past and you feel a negative emotional response, guess what?

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: There is some impact on your energy system that that is still having. There's a part of you that's still defining itself as a wimp.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: It still has a hook on you.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: Does that make sense?

KEVIN: Yeah, absolutely.

RICK: So, one of the things that you can do is, what beliefs do I have about my body that I might have inherited from what... some coach, some parents, some teacher might have said about my physical strength, or my look or my appearance? And as you remember those things, if there's any intensity in your body, we measure things as with the EFT on a 0-10 scale where, let's say, "I'm a wimp." You say that, "I'm a wimp."

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: And if that feels totally untrue, it's a zero.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: Now, if it feels true with a 4 or a 5, then what EFT can do by going through that specific event, either with a coach or by yourself riding it out, tapping the points as you repeat and go through this until it goes back down to a zero. You will notice in your body a sense of confidence that old energy was resisting.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: And one of the things that I've noticed is that if somebody has an energy of "Well, I'm just not flexible."

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Now, that was something that I remember hearing and saying to myself when challenged to do the splits back in sixth grade. "I'm just not flexible."

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: And so when we make an "I am" statement, we define ourselves and there's a part of our energy that will keep us true to that. "I'm just not flexible."

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Now, when I tapped using EFT around that belief, all of a sudden, I noticed that instead of being able to just kind of go down halfway down my shins, I can touch my toes. Hmm.

KEVIN: Interesting.

RICK: Now, I see this with clients - I've worked with over a thousand clients, and one of the things I noticed is that as you start shifting even a little bit, those "I am" beliefs about your physical body - your physical body will start responding. It brings forth a different set of chemicals. It brings forth a set of excitement, an energy -- it brings forth an energy of excitement that will take you much more in the direction of where you want to go in your life.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Literally, your body can start rolling back the clock on what your biological age is.

KEVIN: Right. Now, some people might say that this is a pretty strange type of idea that you can tap meridian points and become more flexible or that you could tap meridian points and actually stop feeling pain or the limiting beliefs that have caused that pain.

RICK: That's right.

KEVIN: What do you think is your, what's your take on, on what's happening?

RICK: I believe that the energy system is the dominant blueprint for our body.

KEVIN: OK. On top of all the others.

RICK: On top of all - on top of the physiology, what is it that causes the DNA in one cell to become a liver cell and the DNA in another cell to become nerve cell and DNA and another cell to become the bones of your spine? I believe that there is an intelligence, the energy field that is also a field of intelligence.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Now, that energy system clearly gets disrupted. There is no doubt, there's so much evidence that emotional trauma is a contributor to disease.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: Emotional trauma being told "Oh man, you are such a loser!"

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: And walking away dejectedly, that has stored a trauma in your energy system. And some of us had had very few of those types of situations. Some people have had hundreds and hundreds of those. But the good news is, is that the energy system once it can be accessed and soothed, smoothed out a bit, yet, restores the natural intelligence, the natural healing abilities in a way that is profound to see.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: Most of us that have been doing this work for a number of years, whether there is a full scientific theory that explains it or not, we don't have one that we can say, "Oh, this is absolutely what it is!" But there are thousands of practitioners that are seeing that not only for specific events can you have permanent relief, but the shifting of limiting belief, "I'm not good enough." If you say, "I am not good enough" and you're thinking that if you say "I'm not good enough" and it feels true when your body had an ache, that is like carrying around a thousand pound rock and you can't mountain climb when you're carrying a thousand-pound rock. It's not really safe to skydive when you're carrying around a thousand-pound rock and swimming across the Chesapeake Bay at 78 years old like one of my friends is going to be doing. You can't do that with a thousand-pound rock. If you release that energy of "I'm not good enough" and we see in Carol, Carol looks at work with attracting abundance. It's perfect for releasing these kinds of limiting beliefs. And once you release that energy, you feel so much lighter. You have so much more vitality flowing in your system.<bio>To read the rest of this transcript as well as access The Fountain of Youth World Summit experts just like Rick Wilkes please click here! Kevin Gianni is an internationally recognized health advocate, author and film consultant.
If you're like me you've probably fallen for some get rich quick scheme on the internet.

After wasting a lot of time and money I've come to realize that there is no such thing as getting rich quick. Trust me I've done it all from paid survey's to buying goods wholesale and trying to sell them.

I was becoming content with working my normal 8 to 5 job barely making enough money to pay my bills, until I came across The Essential 'Net Marketer.

So I did a little research to try and find out what other people were saying/doing with his book. I found out that a lot of people were just like me. Upset they just spent their hard earned money only to find out that you had to spend more money just to make money. At this point I was ready to give up.

Until I was lucky enough to come across RestaurantAndBar.org/home

Apparently a young man by the name of Kevin Nobleman also bought the Rich Jerk's book and put it to good use. After reading through his site I noticed that he was also selling his own e-book. Now I was very skeptical about buying his especially after I just bought the Rich Jerk's. After reading his website I felt compelled to purchase his book. The reason I finally decided to buy his book is because he didn't promise to make me a millionaire over night (which is impossible).

What he did promise me was that he would give me the tools to make a comfortable living on the internet. Once I read his book I found some similar information that was in the Rich Jerks book. But there was also a ton of information that he didn't have. He also shows you how to make money by spending money. The thing I liked the most about the book is that he teaches you how to make money without spending it. This was right up my alley!

I've had the book for a little over a month now and I've doubled my revenue on one of my sites. I honestly didn't think it was possible to make decent money on the internet but thanks to Kevin I know it's possible. The book is useful to not only newcomers like you and I but also for the advanced Internet Entrepreneurs. This is NOT a get rich quick scheme it does involve some time and effort. There is not a doubt in my mind that within the next six months I'll be able to quit my boring job and start working from home full time.

Kevin I can't thank you enough for the information. In my opinion it's worth triple what I paid for it. I'm finally on my way to the financial freedom I've always wanted. THANK YOU!!!! <bio>Check it out at http://www.restaurantandbar.org/home </bio>

This interview is an excerpt from Kevin Gianni's Renegade Roundtable, which can be found at http://www.RenegadeRoundtable.com. In this excerpt, Jim Katsoulis shares on getting started on your own journey to change your life.

Renegade Water Secrets with Jim Katsoulis, a certified master hypnotist, a NLP practitioner, a yoga instructor and great motivator.

Jim: So the first question, when you want to get started, take a step back. Why do you want to get started? What are you looking to accomplish? I'll specific it for a moment just to give you a clear example of what I'm talking about. If you want to lose weight, don't use the same language you always use. "I've got to drop 40 pounds. I've got to lose weight. I've got to start workin' out." That has negative feelings all around it. What you want to begin thinking about is what do you want to accomplish? What do you want? What weight do you want? What size clothes do you want to wear? How do you want to feel? Remember, all of these things that you want to do to get started, are ultimately for a feeling that you're going to get. So you want vibrant health. You want to wake up in the morning feeling alert. You want to be able to go in the store and buy clothes that make you feel really confident and attractive. You want to be able to walk and have people look up to you as role model of health. You want to experience more energy. You want to be more mobile. You want to be able to walk up and down the stairs comfortably. When you begin describing it this way, do you think that's going to help with motivation? As opposed to, "I've got to do that." A lot of people approach change and approach things they really, really want ultimately in their life and they talk about it like someone's got a gun to their head. "I've got to do this. I really, that's it I guess I should start to pay attention." And it's the wrong focus right from the start, okay? Why do you want to do it? Why do you want to do it? And that's why I would begin asking the question, "Why?"

And as you answer that question you make it clear in your mind, you're going to find that the how become easier. The motivation is uncovered, it's unleashed and you connect yourself to that through figuring out what it is that you want. For example, Kevin, I'm going to put you on the spot. Why do you eat well and exercise?

Kevin: Because it gives me the energy to be able to do the things that I want to do.

Jim: Sure. Go on. What else?

Kevin: Very specifically it allows me to get up and exercise, and be able to use my mind and be able to create the things that I like to create and be able to really influence as many people as humanly possible.

Jim: Sure. And how does that make you feel? When you influence people?

Kevin: Awesome.

Jim: Yeah. Notice, it goes right to, you feel that. You see, this is the important thing.

We are run by our unconscious minds, that's what runs the majority. Imagine if you had to remind yourself to breathe. It would last about five minutes, right? Remember, our unconscious minds run things. This is the important thing to understand, the unconscious mind operates through associations, through connections. Kevin, when you explained why you eat well, there's emotion to it. You could hear it in your voice. All of a sudden, it took you about a minute to get to, "I feel awesome."

Kevin: Yeah.

Jim: And you say it congruently and you feel it. Now a lot of times when people say, [grumpy voice] "How do I get started?" You hear it in their voice, there's a perception, there's an association to getting healthy that is, for lack of a better word, negative. And that's what diets become, that's what working out becomes. It becomes negative. You feel like you're missing out. You feel deprived. You feel bored. And that's what working out and eating healthy and losing weight is for a lot of people. And if that's the case, that's the first thing that we need to address. Because the people that I found out have made changes permanently are ones that changed what health means, what having this new ideal body means. And so that's what I suggest to you. It's not as glamorous. It's not as glamorous as waking up tomorrow and running ten miles and saying, "I just ran ten miles, I'm on my way." That lasts for two or three days and then you stop and go back into your old patterns. I'm going to suggest that you take a few moments, and this is the exercise you do. You take a few moments with a pad of paper and pen and write down what you're going to get, how your life is going to change, how the quality of your life is going to improve, from having this new lifestyle, these new behaviors, these new habits, this new body.

Now Kevin, you already live it. I live it. People that have changed their bodies and that naturally eat in the way that gives them the body and the level of health that they want, they've made these associations and these changes. Some people are lucky enough to have been born with this and grow up with it, and some people have to learn how to do it. It's just a process of learning. Once it happens it becomes natural, it becomes automatic. Because the change you want, that's ultimately going to work for you, long-term permanently, is the change you don't have to think about. Kevin, do you have to be real strict with yourself on how you eat and how you exercise now?

Kevin: Not anymore.

Jim: Right, it just becomes automatic. It's just a behavior. So I want you to realize that good or bad behaviors, it's not like one is easier than the other. Our culture kind of pushes some, we're conditioned some that's why it seems that way. But once you make your own connections and you realize how good it feels, how good it can feel to be and have the body you want in a way that feels good to you and works for you, all of a sudden it becomes obvious, it becomes natural. So that's what I would suggest for that person. Why do you want to make this happen? Come up with the reasons. Find some compelling reasons why you want this body. Give it the attention and the energy you would give it if I said to you, "How do you get started? You run ten miles every day." Give it that sort of focus and energy and you'll find you're going to unleash a lot more permanent motivation, than you have probably felt in the past.<bio>To read the rest of this transcript as well as access The Renegade Roundtable experts just like Jim Katsoulis please click here! Kevin Gianni is an internationally recognized health advocate, author and film consultant.
As we think about how to improve our marketing it helps to define our activities so we use the right tool for the right job. (Use the wrong tools in the wrong way and you can wind up wasting a lot of time, energy and money.)

With a lot of businesses, the line between selling and marketing is blurry. But, I've always found it helpful to look at it this way.

Marketing involves anything you do that gets you or your business in front of someone who is interested in what your business can do for them.

Selling involves personal communication between you and your potential customer that helps you both decide if you should do business together.

When you do something that creates awareness of your business you are marketing. When you talk with someone directly who has expressed interest in your business, you are selling.

By the way, when I talk about "selling" I do not mean an arm-twisting type of selling that focuses on closing and commissions. Instead, I mean a professional type of selling that focuses on an exchange of information so both people can clearly see if it makes sense to work together.

Arm-twisting, sales-pitch selling is a thing of the past. These days you need to focus on how you can best help your customers accomplish what they want.

As you plan your marketing activities, think about these differences. They have different outcomes and therefore, they require different tools.

Focus your marketing on identifying who can can best help with your product or service. Then deliver to them a message that helps them believe you can help them. Tell them and show them how you'll help them get what they want.

When you do that well, you'll find selling becomes a lot easier and more successful. <bio>More customers! More revenue! A lot of times, I encounter people who don't really know how to recognize that. What are some of the ways that someone can begin to recognize them?

RICK: It's a great question because the body loves to be listened to; it's like having a child who is tugging at your pants and saying, "Listen to me, listen to me, I have something to share with you." And then if you don't listen to them, it will start squawking you and then if their squawking you doesn't get your attention, they'll start shrieking and if shrieking doesn't work, they'll try hysterical. Here's a very simple line with EFT that we use, if you take any part in your in your body that's feeling a little bit, let's say, less than integrative or a little bit of discomfort, like right now, as I'm walking around, my left knee is just feeling a little bit off.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: OK, and so if I ask my knee, well, what emotion might be there? What emotion might be in my knee? Anticipation is the word that comes to me. So, I would tap. Even though I've got this anticipation in my left knee, I deeply and completely accept my knee anyway, even though I have this anticipation feeling in my knee and it's a little uncomfortable. I deeply and completely accept all of me. Even though I've got this anticipation feeling in my knee, I love and accept of all me, anyway. And then, you just tap the other points. Those were the statements; the type of statements I might use at the karate chop point. All interestingly enough, I've done so much EFT but it's just those 3 statements while I was tapping a karate chop point, my energy system goes, "Yes! Thank you for listening."

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: You talk to one and then the other one is going want to say, "Hey what about me?" This is a way of building body intelligence; paying attention to a physical sensation and asking if there were an emotion there, what might it be?

KEVIN: Huh.

RICK: And guess, right? Some people will have neck pain, chronic neck pain, right? And they've tried everything. They've gone to chiropractors, massage therapists and considered surgery. But they've never asked the question if there were an emotion in that pain or a person in that pain, what might it be? And once you start asking those types of questions of the pain itself, the pain will give you answers that allow you to have door way into that intelligence.

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: And you just say, "Even though I've got that SOB in my neck...

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: ...I deeply and completely accept all of my feeling; even though I've got this raging anger in my neck, I deeply and completely accept myself." Do some tapping around that and what you will almost always notice is some relief. Now, if you do around of tapping and suddenly the energy goes spiking way up and you like "Oh, my goodness, what have I done?" What you've really done is you've opened the door; that's a good sign. For those of us that are EFT professionals, that's a good sign. It means that this is a core energy that is keeping you from feeling great. And that's when you really stay to keep tapping on it, keep tapping on it, keep tapping on it. Get the help of a professional if you need to, that will help relieve that energy. I have somebody who's in his 70s. He's a former military man, extremely physical and he fell down the stairs.

KEVIN: Oh.

RICK: And his body healed remarkably quickly except for his shoulder.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: Now, months later the shoulder's still at 8, 9, or 10. I did some massage therapy, I'd release it and then the pain would come back. And I'd release it and it would feel like it was doing pretty well and the pain would come back. That's a sign that there may be an energetic or emotional recall. And I said, "Well, if there were an emotion in your shoulder, what might it be?" He knew exactly what it was. Anger. What are you angry about? "I'm angry at my body for failing me, this is the first time that it has ever failed."

KEVIN: (Laughs.) Well look what comes out?

RICK: You know exactly what was going on; we tapped on that. The pain went from an 8 to a 4.

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: And then, and then, I said, "Well is there still anger?" and he said, "No, no, it's not anger." I said, "Well if there was an emotion there now, what might it be?" Well I knew he fell on the stairs carrying a big chest, OK? Big macho guy.

KEVIN: OK. How old? Seventy?

RICK: Seventy something years old. He's going to be carrying this big chest down the stairs. Physically he was strong enough but he lost his balance.

KEVIN: Yeah.

RICK: OK and what he said was, "I knew when I picked it up that if my wife was in the house, she would have freaked out and made me not do it, and I did it anyway."

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: And so I said, "What emotion is that?" He said, "Guilt."

KEVIN: A-ha.

RICK: And we tapped on the guilt and doing the stupid thing and the pain went away and stayed away.

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: So, are we a mix of emotions and physical, physical and emotional? Absolutely. In fact, an emotion is a physical sensation that we got to label on.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: We're looking at our pain, putting an emotional label on it, even if it's just a guess. Physical pain described at it directly, you know, is it a burning, a kind of a stiffness, whatever it is. Put an emotional label on it and do some tapping on it. Do that 3-5 times a day and you'll notice that this energy exercise is a part of also exercising your physical body is a wonderful combination to bring out the best of your whole system.

KEVIN: A conversation that I have frequently with a couple of my colleagues is whether pain is physical or energetic? And it's a big conversation. A lot of people would say, "Of course, it's physical," though it seems to me like you might be either leaning towards the other side or leaning towards the combination of both.

RICK: I call it physio-emotional pain. And if somebody has just experienced the loss of a loved one and they feel like there's a hole in their heart. There's a physical pain right there. Was it caused by someone punching them in the heart or was it caused by an emotion that has happened to them.

KEVIN: Right.

RICK: Now, somebody who is in a car accident, OK? almost 80 years old; she was in a car accident. She went through physical therapy and she still felt a lot of pain in her neck and in her ribs and we tried to do some bodywork and her body seemed to be resisting. There is a physical sensation of the body resisting release and renewal.

KEVIN: For anything?

RICK: Yeah, for anything. If you feel like you're working against your body, you are. It is time to stop and not try to force it but to listen. And what we did is just ask the question, if there were emotion in your rib cage and in your neck, what might it be? And she said that being blind-sided.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: She was doing nothing wrong, she was driving along and somebody smashed into the side of her and we did some EFT on it -- and what was interesting is that she could feel the release, feel the release, feel the release and then suddenly it spiked way back up. And I said this isn't about the car accident. She said no, it is about thing blind-sided by her ex-husband when he came home one day and he said he was leaving.

KEVIN: Wow!

RICK: Is that logically true? Scientifically provable? I can't scientifically prove that, but what I will tell is that her intuition, her inner intelligence gave us a door -- to go through and when we through that door with EFT with love and respect for the body and what it has been through and we did tapping on the natural soothing points on the body, what happened was her body let go of the feeling of being unsafe and being blind-sided, and when she lay back down on the table, her rib cage felt to me 20 years younger. Her neck became fluid, moving like the graceful person that she had been, and to me that's an example of how specific events and specific energies bind us. They make our faces tighter, they make the tendons in our body less willing to be open and fluid. You think about walking through the world as an open, happy person. Well, if you don't feel safe, you're not going to walk through the world that way, and EFT is a powerful way to help you feel safe no matter what -- calm and confident then no matter what. Kevin, we build on a foundation of safety first -- helping a person feel safe in their body, exploring their world. We help them expand the comfort zone so that they feel safe and then it's about how do you want to feel? Do you want to feel calm and powerful? Creative and energized? And we incorporate that into the affirmation that we use -- the set up statement in EFT as this is called. Even though I'm not feeling totally confident right now because blank, I'm open to feeling surprisingly calm and powerful in my body. We know the power of affirmations. People have talked about it a lot, but an affirmation usually has what's called the tail-ender, a yes spot.

KEVIN: OK.

RICK: It's like if I look at myself in the mirror and say, "I have the body and mind of a 27-year-old." There would be some aspect of me that looks and says, "Well not exactly."

KEVIN: Yeah, yeah.

RICK: And to be like somebody that has 50 pounds to lose looking in the mirror and say, "I am thin and attractive." .

KEVIN: Right, but, 50 pounds overweight.

RICK: So with EFT what were doing is saying, "Even though I'm 50 pounds overweight, I'm open to feeling surprisingly attractive and good looking."

KEVIN: Yeah.

RICK: Surprisingly flexible and energized anyway. This is the high art of EFT. They're taking the physical limitations that they have, the limiting beliefs that they carried, letting them go and enjoying having a vitality that is of someone 20, 30, 40, 50 years younger. There is no reason to let an old person move into your body but if you have just a kind of collected a whole bunch of old people thoughts, old people beliefs, EFT is a great way to release those. I call it thriving in the now, you're really in a place where every moment you're feeling the vibration and the emotion and gratitude, appreciation and expectation that your life is unfolding in a beautiful way.<bio>To read the rest of this transcript as well as access The Fountain of Youth World Summit experts just like Rick Wilkes please click here! Kevin Gianni is an internationally recognized health advocate, author and film consultant.
It's a question we should always ask and yet we often find so difficult to answer. How an organization handles this question (and the answers) will determine its ultimate success. Because if you consistently offer your customers what they want (at a price they feel is fair) you'll have all the customers you can handle.

Recently, I surveyed about 2,000 people on this topic. They came from all over the USA (32 states). I asked them all this question:

"When you are a customer, what do you want?"

When they answered, I listened. I kept track of what they said and I tabulated the results. I removed results that had to do with specific products or services because I was looking for information that would be helpful across many industries and organizations.

So, without further ado, here are the results of the 2006 Stirtz Group Customer Service Survey:

"What Do Customers Really Want?"

1. Listen to me

2. Know more than I do (about your product or service)

3. Be easy to work with

4. Give me what I came for

5. Smile

6. Tell me your name

7. Acknowledge my presence

8. Don't treat me like I'm an interruption

9. Show me you care

10. Don't waste my time

11. Be honest

12. Offer alternatives if you don't have what I want

13. High quality and low prices

14. Don't try to sell me. Just help me

15. Do what you say you're going to do

16. Keep me informed

(The results are in ranked order from most popular response.)

Note:

I don't claim this survey has any scientific significance or statistical validity. (It's not meant to). But it is based on real answers from real people so I think it can be useful for many organizations as they work to improve their customer service.

I'll write more in the near future about the implications of these survey results. For now though, I think it's safe to say people know what they want as customers. And, based on how people responded (lots of extra comments) I think many of them feel they are not getting what they want.

So, even though this list of 16 customer wishes seems basic and intuitive, I don't believe most organizations are delivering them to all their customers all the time. If they were, this list would have been much shorter. People wouldn't bother mentioning them if they were getting them on a regular basis.

Please feel free to use this survey as you work to improve the customer service in your organization. And share it with others. You have my permission to reprint and republish it as long as you give credit to Kevin Stirtz and the Stirtz Group LLC.

Then take the next step and do a survey like this with your customers. Ask them what they want and listen. Make a list and share it with your employees. Then keep asking because things change. The more you ask, the more your customers will tell you. Then you'll be able to give them what they want better than anyone else.<bio>Kevin Stirtz is the Amazing Service Guy.
