DISCLAIMER: The following is offered for your reference only and is not intended as legal advice. Contact your attorney before finalizing any contract.

A legal contract is a promise or set of promises that is enforceable under the law. In North America, the three most important aspects of a contract are offer, acceptance, and consideration.

"Offer" and "acceptance" seem pretty straightforward (although it's trickier than you might think), but the term "consideration" fools a lot of people.

"Consideration" is not required in most countries outside of common law systems (the United Kingdom, the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and a few others). For a contract to have consideration there must be value given by both sides - either a promise or performance of a deed. If I promise to buy my son a boat for his graduation and I fail to do so, my promise is not enforceable because my son gave me nothing in return (this is known as a "gratuitous promise"). On the other hand, if I promise to give him a boat if he mows my lawn, and then I refuse to transfer the boat even after he mows my lawn, this could be enforceable even if the value of the boat greatly exceeds the value his mow job. Courts are not concerned with the value of the consideration or whether it was a wise exchange, but only whether consideration exists at all.

There are several ways to have a contract declared void (treated as if it never existed at all) or voidable =96 among others, lack of legal intention, lack of legal capacity (a minor, for example), lack of genuine consent (in case of fraud, etc.), and illegal object (a contract for a hit man, for example).

Please keep in mind that the foregoing is greatly simplified - contract law can get quite complex. Stay tuned for Parts 2,3,4... <bio>"Contracts" at http://contractsguide.blogspot.com offers readers information about all types of contracts, especially how to write a contract.
Diamond promise rings have increased in popularity in recent years. Everyone from celebrity couples to young couples in middle America seems to have them. Promise rings come in a variety of styles and center stones. They can be given for a variety of reasons, but are mostly used by couples intending to marry sometime in the future.

The Meaning of Diamond Promise Rings

Promise rings are usually given as a symbol of love and commitment. They are often given with the intent of becoming engaged at some point in the future. When the intent is commitment and ultimately, marriage, the ring is worn on the left hand. After the engagement, the ring is often switched to the right hand.

This allows the couple to test their commitment to each other prior to making the larger commitment of becoming engaged and getting married. Couples can show their commitment to each other without rushing into an early marriage, which too often ends in divorce. With the high divorce rates, taking it slow is a good idea.

Settings and stones range from simple to extravagant. In general, these are smaller and less expensive than engagement rings. The most common stone used is a diamond in a silver or gold setting, but just about any gemstone can be used. Some use another stone in the center with small diamonds as accents. Some couples use the birthstones of the couple for a more personal statement.

While they are most often given to the woman in the relationship, they are available in your local jewelry store for men as well. This is not a common tradition, but some modern, younger couples are doing this. These rings often carry the birthstones of the couple and are often engraved with initials or a line from a favourite song.

Early Diamond Promise Rings

The Scribbler ring was seen several hundred years ago in Europe. The diamonds in the ring were used to etch messages of love on windows. The diamonds were generally small in terms of carat, but were set in a way that made them sharp and easy to use to scribble on the glass.

French and English Poesy rings date back to Shakespearean times. These were inscribed with either a line from poetry, music or other messages of love. This tradition continues in promise and wedding jewelry, which are sometimes inscribed with initials, the wedding date or other messages.

Other Reasons for Diamond Promise Rings

By far, these rings are most often given as a promise of love and commitment between a man and a woman. However, promise rings can be given for other reasons. One less common reason is in exchange for a promise to remain drug and alcohol free during the teenage years. These pledges are often sought during the spring Prom season.

In some families, they are given from parent to child in exchange for a vow of chastity. This is often seen in Christian families. The child is promising to remain chaste and to not engage in sexual activity prior to marriage. A ring is given by the parent to symbolize this promise. <bio>Clinton Maxwell releases for the internet site http://www.engagement-rings-tips.com..
We all know how important it is to set goals. Goals give us direction and purpose. They are something by which we can measure our success by. A successful life is a life by which goals are constantly set and achieved. We also know that most of us never achieve our goals. So how do we go about setting and achieving our goals?

1: Firstly we need to make sure that our goal is in fact our goal. By this I mean it must be something that is personal to you. It must not be something that you think your peers or mother expect you to achieve. If it is your goal you will be far more likely to achieve it.

2: Substitute the word goal for the word promise. Semantics I know, but lets think about this for a minute or two. What does the word goal say to you. A goal is something you strive for, something you will attempt to achieve, something you will try and make a reality. Now what does the word promise say to you. A promise is something that you keep. It is your word. It is not something that you will try and keep, it is something that you will do your utmost to keep. We do not make promises that we will not keep, what does that do for our credibility, not a lot. So by substituting the word goal for promise, it creates a totally different mindset about what we are setting out to achieve. It sends a different message to your subconscious.

3: Clearly identify your promise.Trying to achieve a promise that is not clearly defined is like trying to stick the tail on the donkey whilst blindfolded, shooting in the dark. So how rich do you want to be, what kind of car do you want. Be as specific as you can be.Clearly identify exactly just what it is that you want. The more specific you are the clearer you will be able to see it in your minds eye, which in turn imprints it into your subconscious.

4: Identify your personal motivator. Why do you need to achieve this goal? You need to have something that keeps you motivated. Otherwise you are likely to stop at the first hurdle. Now this motivator can be either positive or negative. A negative motivator can be someone telling you that you are dreaming and will never be able to achieve whatever it is you have set. You are now motivated to show that person just how wrong they are about you.Positive motivation could be the reason you want that new car. So whether your motivation is negative or positive does not matter as long as it works for you and keeps you striving for your goal.

5: Create a promise plan. How, where, who, what ,when? Answer these questions and you will find yourself formulating a working promise plan.Just as every successful business needs a working business plan, so does every promise if it is to be successful. Once you have a plan work it every day. No matter how good the plan is, if it is not worked it will not work.

6: Review your plan on a regular basis.Take 20 minutes a day to look over your plan. You may find that you will need to revise it as time goes. The more you review it the better it will become. Constantly reviewing it keeps it fresh in the mind which keeps you focused as well as implanting it into your subconscious. You notice how I keep referring to your subconscious? This is because your subconscious is a very powerful ally to have working on your side. Once your subconscious knows what your plan is and how determined you are to make it happen it kicks in to make it a reality and then you are almost unstoppable.

7: Tell yourself that you will succeed. Self affirmations are another powerful tool to use to get your subconcious working for you. Positive self talk can never be underestimated. I can do it, I will do it, I am going to achieve it.

8: Tell others about your promise. This provides additional motivation, as well as making you accountable. You may find that some of the people you tell will help you on your way.

9: Envision the final result. See yourself as having achieved your promise. See yourself living in that house, driving that car , working in the job you want. When you go to bed at night see yourself as having achieved your promise. Use your imagination to see the wonderful things you have achieved instead of worrying about things that are more than likely to never materialize anyway. It will make you sleep easier and gives your brain something to think about whilst you are sleeping.

10: Don't give up! Stick with the plan, work the plan and continually keep revising you're plan.

If you use these tips and make them a way of life any goal that you set will be achievable. Dream big and aim for the stars <bio>Justin Vincent is an affiliate marketer who has found success with Success University.
In today's world, cellular communication products are considered disposable by many consumers. In other words, products are purchased and after a few months of use are done away with it or replaced and then we end up upgrading to the new "hot" item that is on the market. Instead of simply hanging onto all of those cellular telephones that are causing clutter in drawers all over your home, why not sell your old cell phones for cash? There are a lot of outlets where you can get rid of these items and allow for others who would like to use them. Even if you don't have a great cellular telephone to offer, you can sell it and ensure that it will be disposed of properly, which in a round about away is helping to keep the environment safe for us all.

If you spend any amount of time on the Internet, you may have already come across opportunities where you can get rid of the cellular products you no longer want. Many of these programs will buy your cell phones for cash and get you the cash in just a couple days time. This will put a little bit of money in your wallet, but really stop and think about whether or not the price they have put on your cellular unit is fair. Many times these fast paying companies simply offer their customers a flat fee that is less than 0.1% of what they paid for the item just a few months earlier. You aren't going to get rich doing this, but the price you are offered should be fair.

If you want to go with a more legitimate service that will buy cell phones for cash, you might want to look into the ones that don't promise payment quite as fast. The reason for this is that when you go through companies that promise to pay within two days, they aren't really looking at each unit, they simply set a flat rate and that is that. When you go with companies that don't promise payment within two days, you are more likely to be dealing with a company that actually looks at and evaluates the value of each unit that comes into their possession. If you have someone evaluating your items, you are going to get a much fairer price.

If you would like to find a great company that will buy your cell phones for cash, get started by visiting http://www.sellyouroldcellphone.com. This is one of the best providers of this service, as they have been in business for several years. They don't promise to pay you in just a couple days; instead they promise that they will give you the best deal within 30 days. The process of selling to this company is very simple, and they take broken units as well as donations for recycling. <bio>Established in 2005 as one of the first companies that buys back used cell phones, http://www.SellYourOldCellPhone.com has been growing consistently over the last two years.
Are you one of those people who have always dreamed of being able to make money online and work at home? If so, you are not alone. You are also not alone in your attempts and even your frustration to find a legitimate way that money can be made. There are websites, as well as emails and advertisements, all over the internet that promise to make you a millionaire in record time. If you have tried many of them, you realize that they don't work out, or you wouldn't be reading this!

If you are tired of hopping from scam to scheme without making any money, you are probably wary of any business that claims it is the real thing. This is natural, and better than falling for another testimonial or grandiose business plan. Taking caution is a good idea, but every once in awhile you have to take a chance and hope that things will work out. Starting a new business is all about taking chances, so you have to learn to temper your fears with some hope that you can realize your dream of staying home to work. Always keep your eyes open for new opportunities, you never know when something legitimate will pass by you.

Some of the things you may want to look for when looking for a new business are inflated promises, such as those promises that you will become a millionaire in short order. You have to ask yourself how anyone can promise you that before they know you, your personality, or your past and present experience. Unless the income they promise is based on the services or products they sell and a proven method for selling them, you'll generally want to stay away from businesses that can promise you income, and always stay away from those that promise unreasonable incomes.

You may also want to stand clear of multi-level marketing businesses. Many people will tell you that you cannot make any money with these businesses, but that is not true. The problem is that you will have to work very hard for a little bit of money while you are putting a lot of money into the pockets of other people. MLM's can earn you money, but you should be aware that they often do not last very long and, unless you get in on the ground level, you may work much harder than you need to for the money you will earn.

If you really want to make money online and work at home, you might want to check out the http://www.jointherich.com website. This is not just any home business, it is a genuine business opportunity, and you can earn an unlimited amount of money with it. You simply set your goals and then work the business so that you can reach those goals. There is no cold calling, sales, or high pressure tactics involved. This is a business plan that is for the highly motivated, but can be done by anyone with any experience level, and it is definitely worth checking out! <bio>If you have been looking for the perfect start up idea for a Make Money Online And Work At Home, visit http://www.jointherich.com. </bio>

Have you ever fallen in love? Do you wish that the person you are with right now is the same person who will share the rest of your life with? Is there a reason a person to be in love?

Everybody wants to love and be loved in return. Falling in love is one of the best feelings ever to feel by an individual. When in love, a person has all the reasons to smile and be happy.

But sometime love is misunderstood. Most people think that love is merely an emotion. That it is something that you feel. Yes love gives you an emotion but you can not feel it. In marriage, it something that fades when time passes by.

Love is how you decide to act and treat someone on a particular way. It is more on the actions you intend to show than you feel. Love is the promise and the vow you and your partner had made on your wedding. It is a pledge, a security.

This is the reason why you promised to love and cherish each for all eternity. You both did not promise to feel a certain way. Instead, the promise and the vow was made and sealed for better or for worst.

.... Is love really important in marriage?

Definitely it is important! It is because feelings usually rise and fall, come and go. There may be times that you are upset or you have hurt the person you love. Instances like this may happen, but it does not mean you have to give up easily. Actually, this is the best time that love calls for your attention.

Because you love your partner, chances are you will learn to forgive, mend, encourage, cherish and improve your marriage into the better. It is not that everything will always be easy and simple. There will be times that those good feeling is just around the corner and sometimes they are left unrecognized. However, your continuous commitment to love as you have promised will make sure that the feeling will come up always.

Love must be a commitment. Most marriages failed because one of the couple falls in love to someone else. This is because of what people call the "feelings" and lust. The feelings will always change.

Making a comparison between your spouse and the other person is not right. It actually leads your attention out of your partner. Once this happen, it would be very easy to look for third party and destroy your marriage relationship. It will be easier for you to set aside your commitment and your promise to your marriage.

Therefore it is necessary to keep love in mind always. Do not forget the commitment you have for your partner. This is important since you two can help each other face difficult trials and solve problems the natural way.

It is actually your decision to love your partner that will help you get through. When you and your partner remember the promise of love and be together through thick and thin then, the marriage is secure. Without the commitment, the marriage will be weak to endure the problems that are unavoidably to come.

Lastly, keep in mind, love is not merely a feeling. It is a decision to make and to perform a certain way with the person you choose marry and be with forever. <bio>You Can Save Your Marriage And Secure For Yourself And Your Spouse A Great Future That Can Be Enjoyed Forever!
I recently saw a car commercial on television that struck my interest. It posed the question: "Where has your sense of commitment gone?" It drew attention to a number of important decisions we make in life, such as marrying, or buying a new car. The commercial accurately stated that we as a people often will just get rid of something instead of sticking to our original promise or commitment. This is the price of instant gratification. We become a "throw-away" people because it is often too easy and inexpensive to just replace something instead of fixing it; but in doing so we often fail to see the real price that is demanded for being a consuming people.

As the divorce rate climbs so do a host of directly related problems that winds up costing us personally, as families, and as a nation much more than we ever could imagine. Sociologists would tell us that crime rises in correlation to divorce. They tell us that children are prone to have more psychological problems. Schools suffer also as these troubled youth bring their problems to school. Drop-out rates increase, students become harder to manage, and even student shootings can be indirectly related to the result of broken homes =96 broken commitments. Alcoholism and drug dependency increase which in and of itself brings a host of other problems to our society. All of this because there was no real commitment made when we said, "I do!"

Abraham Lincoln was not only a great president but he was also a wise man. There are many books written about him and many quotes from him that have impacted us as a people. This quote for example shows the depth of his wisdom. He said, "Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality." Now if you are like me you probably thought that a commitment was the same thing as a promise. So I looked it up and what I found out is that you and I are correct. The definition of commitment is: "a pledge or promise to do something." - http://www.YourDictionary.com. However before you begin feeling jubilant about yourself consider what President Lincoln was attempting to do. As with other concerns of his life Abraham Lincoln was trying to draw a meaningful distinction. A distinction had to be made because obviously the true sense of commitment had been lost from the world long before even his time.

All of this is related to another on-going argument regarding reputation or what a person's word is worth. Lincoln's statement that "Commitment is what transforms a promise into reality" deliberately draws attention to the word commitment because when a person made a commitment in the business world, it was usually bound by a legal signature or some form of certification such as a person's wax seal on a document signifying we can trust this to be what it represents. Such forms of certification or seal of reputation go all the way back to the original meaning of a handshake. When two people came to an agreement they shook hands over it to signify that what was represented was true.

Going back even further if you wish, even the Nazarene carpenter taught us to do away with the practice of handshakes and let our yes mean yes and our no mean no.

Commitment was a word used a lot during the time of Lincoln and that argument over what a person's word was also prevalent during that time as well. So the word "commitment" back then surfaced all of this associated imagery which made it a different meaning than the word "promise" of his day or even ours. Though technically the two words are the same, commitment meant much more to Abraham Lincoln. It meant steadfastness and resolution. It meant keeping a promise. It was sealed by something greater than a handshake =96 it was sealed by his or her word.

What makes a person empowered comes from within. They are the building blocks of character. As you face the world today and you turn each promise you make into a commitment by applying the rule of steadfastness into your life, await with conviction the truth that your words will have power. Your reputation will grow and will open many doors for you. Spread the word! <bio>John Cyr is a retired workforce development trainer and motivational consultant who writes articles and editorials under the pen-name Johnny Cyreous, or Cyreous.
1. Get a clean and nice sheet of paper. On the left portion of the paper write down numbers 1 to 10. After that proceed by writing without even thinking about what you will answer, just write down whatever 10 things that will first come to mind in response to this phrase "I love (my lover/partner's name) for the reason of..." After writing it all set aside your paper.

2. Get another sheet of paper and in there write about all the things that you will promise to your partner, what are the good things you want to bring in with the union of hearts.

For example: I will promise to be there with you during all kinds of moments either good times or bad. I promise to remain faithful for eternity I promise to share all blessings and resources with you.

3. Think about how you want to address your partner in front of others, whether it is Spouse, Wife, Husband, Hubby, and Partner for life?

4. After steps 1-3 you may now take a break from preparing for your wedding vows. Keep the papers that you've so far written on and instead spend time with your partner, do something together that will provide fun and excitement to both of you and remember this moment once you continue with writing your wedding bows.

5. After that shared moment, its time to make a separate wedding vow, you can make it totally unique from each other but here's a great tip, if you are intent on writing a unique vow from each other, make sure to add a sentence or paragraph that has some similarities with the other person's vow. This will express and symbolize a union within the both of you and at the same time maintaining your individuality.

6. Going back to the different sheet of papers you've written on in the first and second steps. It is best that you work together and compare what you've written in the statements and promises portion. Use a highlighter to highlight where you wrote the same thing and remember the parts where you differ.

7. Choose from the list 4 or 5 things that you and your partner wants, four or five reasons why you love each other and four or five promises you want to say to each other.

8. Copy all of these on another clean sheet of paper.

9. A wedding vow should include a promise of a time frame, most wedding vows consists of phrases like "For the rest of my days", "For as long as eternity", etc. Choose the proper phrase that expresses a promised time frame for your love to each other. It's your call on what will you use.

10. Last thing after you've written your wedding vows is to practice reading it to someone that you trust. Read it aloud and afterwards ask the person how it sounded like? Does it sound sincere? Is it touching? Is it okay enough to create a wonderful wedding vow? Whatever the input that person might tell you, put it in mind and try to improve it if it still lacking in message and content. If the person you trust told you that it is already a perfect wedding vow, then it's high time to celebrate and congratulate each other for a job well done as a husband and wife. <bio>funny wedding vows: http://www.hitweddings.com/weddings/vows/ vows renewal: http://www.hitweddings.com/article/vows-renewal-ceremony/ planning a wedding: http://www.hitweddings.com </bio>

A legitimate home based business can help you in many ways. A legitimate home based business can help you make the type of money you have always been trying to make. Now a legitimate home based business is nothing like a scam. Once you become familiar with what to look for when looking to join a company you can tell what is a scam and what is not a scam.

There are many companies out there who will promise you the world and completely under deliver. They are just after your money plain and simple. They have no real intentions of helping you earn the money they have promised you. This may have already happened to you.

If it has do not worry, most of us have all been there and gone through that. The key is to not lose hope when it comes to making money from home. There are legitimate home based businesses out there. You just have to know what is a scam and what is a solid business.

First and foremost they must have a product. No product and it is illegal. The product is key. Many companies have no products what so ever. These are called pyramid schemes. They will eventually get shut down or even worse just disappear with your money. This is an obvious sign that a company is a scam. No product don't join, no matter what they may tell you.

Next most companies and company reps will promise you anything and everything. Now just because a rep promises you the world does not mean the company is a scam. I know reps who will say anything just to get your money. Just because they promise you something does not make the company a scam.

Now if the company is promising to build your business for you and telling you, you will not have to do nay work. Then the company is something I would not join. Here is a fact no matter what company you get yourself involved in, you will have to manage and run your business.

It is not anyone else's job to run and manage your business. Remember it is your business, it is not anyone else's business. Your upline should be there for support and to guide you along the way but they will not be there to build your business. They also have to build their own remember.

This where most people get suckered into scams. They believe the lies. They believe the company or their upline will do everything for them. That is a straight out lie. If anyone will build a business for me, let me know and I will join. It is just not going to happen.

When you join a business you must be prepared to build you business on your own, it is not your upline's job to build your business for you. Your upline is there to support and guide you. If anyone promises to do all the work for, you can assume they are lying to you.

These are just a few of things to look for when looking for a legitimate home based business. <bio>Aaron Aldama is a marketing expert.
For people who are working to lose weight and keep off the extra pounds, the promise of weight loss products that can help make their struggle easier is difficult to resist. Losing weight is difficult and full of setbacks which result in frustration. Scams prey on this frustration, offering an easy solution. However, in the best cases, fraudulent weight loss products cost you money and do nothing to help you. Even worse, however, they can threaten your health as well as your pocketbook. Here are some ways to spot weight loss scams so that you don't become a victim.

1. Scams Promise to Make Weight Loss Easy

There are weight loss products that can help you on your journey to achieve an ideal weight, but none of them can make losing weight effortless. Any product that promises that you can eat as much as you want of whatever you want, while lying on the couch and watching TV all day long, is just trying to get into your wallet.

2. Scams Use Weird Science to Back Up Claims

Magnets that can flush non-magnetic food out of your system, earrings that manipulate hunger through acupuncture, and glasses that can control your hunger pangs using colored lenses are just a few of the fishy weight loss products that have been marketed to unsuspecting dieters. None of these products have any scientific backing for their claims, but they do cost a pretty penny.

3. Scams Promise Rapid Weight Loss

The most that you can realistically expect to lose with a real weight loss program is a pound or two per week. If you're very lucky and dedicated, you might make it up to three pounds a week. But fraudulent weight loss products make fantastic =96 and false =96 claims like losing 30 pounds in 30 days. Don't believe them.

4. Scams Guarantee that Everyone Will Succeed

There is no single weight loss product that will work without fail for every person. It's impossible. Scams make outrageous guarantees to get you to open your pocketbook, but as the FTC says, "the only thing you're guaranteed to lose is your money." <bio>For a weight loss that suppresses your appetite, take a look at http://learnaboutweightloss.com/index.php/2007/06/10/hoodia-xpf-for-weight-= loss Hoodia XPF for weight loss. </bio>

Many people are looking at price when searching for a discount travel agency, however, there are some other things you need to watch out for that can save you time, money and headaches when using a travel agency to plan your trip.

1) Check to see if the agency is a member of ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents). Agencies who are members must follow strict rules of conduct. If you should have a problem with your agency, it will be easier for you to file a complaint.

2) Make sure their offer isn't too good to be true. The travel industry is very competitive and some agencies will promise you the moon. Make sure they can deliver what they promise before signing up.

3) The agency should disclose their full contact information. You should easily be able to find their name, address, phone number and email address. Call the phone number and see if a real person answers. If their contact information isn't readily available, you should take your business elsewhere.

4) Some discount agencies will promise you low rates to get your business, then hit you with hidden fees. Since you are budgeting for your trip, you don't want to be hit with a larger bill than you planned on. Be sure to get all agency rates and fees on paper to avoid surprises.

5) Respectable travel agencies will bend over backwards to make sure you are well taken care of, especially if you have medical needs while traveling. An agency out for a quick buck will not provide you with great customer service, so ask questions about how they will accommodate your special requests before signing.

6) A good travel agency will be there to help you during and after your trip to make sure everything is going smoothly. If you have a problem during your trip, the agency will be available to assist you. Fly by night services will disappear after you've handed over your money. Check out the agency's reputation before you commit to a deal.

7) A good travel agency will have access to all kinds of information about the city and/or country you are visiting. They are one of the best insider travel tip resources around whether you need a business travel tip, family travel tip, an air travel tip, or a travel packing tip. <bio>Cruise the beautiful Hawaiian Islands =96 even if you're on a budget http://www.last-minute-hawaii-cruise.com </bio>

SEO is considered the most important aspect of getting a higher page rank even today after Google's page rank upgrade has been introduced. Most web site owners/administrators either hire SEO experts or do it themselves. SEO has become so common that it seems that everyone from a content writer to a graphic designer knows how to work on SEO and how it can affect the overall ranking of your web site on Google or secondary search engines.

The first and foremost thing that you should look at while hiring an SEO expert is how well they have ranked their own website. There are many web site owners out there who would agree that they have fallen into the trap of big SEO promises at least once. Every SEO firm promises your website a good ranking on Google but how many of them can truly keep the promise is a different story. There are many websites whose targeted phrases are not even ranked forget about the ranking of the entire website or a web page.

So the thumb rule is check their website ranking before you choose to fall for their promise of SEO. There are some SEO firms who are new or don't have their website yet. For such firms, you can always check their past records and if you get any good references from other website owners/their previous clients then that will hold its weight.

One of the other things you need to do especially in the light of the matter that SEO firms seems to be coming up everywhere is research. Do background research of the individual, the firm and their previous clients and SEO deliveries.

The Promise

If your web site is new, is in a high competition market or industry and if the SEO firm tells you that they can get your website top Google rankings within 60 days, then you should not sign up with the firm. This is simply because either they have no idea whatsoever of SEO or they are saying it to lure you. To avoid wastage of money and time and to avoid the frustration later on, you should avoid such a firm completely.

A straight-forward or top of the line SEO firm will always provide you with realistic expectations that can span over many months and even years depending on your market, the competition and scope. If you have a new web site that is competing in a market with moderate competition then a good ranking in 6 months is sound promise but the same time frame will not be possible in a high competition market.

SEO services

It is necessary that you ask your SEO firm what all will be included in the SEO package before you sign the deal. It is not necessary for you to receive a complete breakdown of each SEO activity but a broad understanding is essential. A SEO firm should ideally inform you about the areas of your website that will be changed to enable SEO and how they will carry on with the process of link building.

Most of the top level or good SEO firms will live their promises and provide ample proof of what they are saying and what they are planning to do. Some of the top level SEO firms even provide a guarantee although not all of them do it. Not providing a written guarantee doesn't mean that a particular SEO firm is not good. The reputation of a SEO firm in the market is in itself a huge guarantee. So if you are signing up with a top level firm with a reputation to back it then you can be rest assured that they will back up what ever they promise to deliver in the SEO package and within the mentioned time frame.

There are time when you might end up being on the wrong track since it is not always easy to determine if your SEO company is as good as it claims to be. There are some SEO firms who have had a great record but off late their performances have gone down. So if you are not aware of their recent client feedbacks and if you go by their past client feedbacks then you might end up being on the losing side of the deal.

SEO is an important aspect but to deal with it better, you need to first get an understanding of what it really is and how it can actually help your web site. When you are informed enough, you will be able to take the right decision. <bio>Seomul Davis is search engine optimization specialist for SEO 1 Services links http://www.seo-1-marketing-services.com http://www.seo-1-marketing-services.com/company.htm http://www.seo-services-expert.com </bio>

Lenders are making the market for new loans sound so good. Other types of loans are already on the market, and understood. So, how do you get new people to jump on your bandwagon? You offer something that sounds good, but one that not everybody yet understands. That seems to be the case of the 125% home equity loan, too.

The Promise

The promise that is made is to give you 125% of the value of your house for a second mortgage. This way you can enjoy having extra finances to use as you please. You can pay off other debt, fix up the house, combine both mortgages, go on a vacation, or whatever. The choice is up to you.

What, though, is the truth behind a 125% mortgage? Here are some details. Some of these companies actually want to lend you more money than your house is actually worth. Think about it. Are they really trying to help? With other lenders, it can actually be a little difficult to get 80% of the value of a house (they are the smart ones). Why are these agencies trying to push extra money in your face?

Extra Charges

A number of these companies charge 10% if you want to get a lower rate of interest than what is initially offered. That's just for starters. While they do offer lower rates than what credit cards usually go for, it actually may not be much more, since second mortgages are typically more than a first mortgage. Plus, there is an origination fee, closing costs, and more.

Stay Where You Are

With the extra charges, and owing considerably more than your house is worth, you can plan on not moving anytime soon. This puts you in a negative equity situation. Many people who bought houses even last year are finding out that this is not a good situation to be in. It is possible, in a day of unstable housing markets, that your house could also be devalued -- making it even harder, if not impossible to sell -- for years more. It could also mean going into greater debt.

It will also take you a few years just to recover from the various expenses of the mortgage - let alone bring your debt down to where you can make any profit on selling the house. And getting the downpayment for a new house while you owe so much - don't even go there - it will only be in your dreams.

An even greater problem may occur if you have an adjustable rate mortgage. Sooner or later, there is going to be a rate increase, and it could be as much as 50% higher than it is now.

Compare

If you still want to consider a 125% mortgage, then be sure to compare one company's product with another. You will be able to see the features that really stand out, and be able to see what features you may need, or want. Be wary of mortgages that promise no fees, because you can be sure that it has been added in there somewhere - and probably more things, too. <bio>Joe Kenny writes for the UK personal finance sites http://www.ukpersonalloanstore.co.uk and also http://www.cardguide.co.uk </bio>

Your company and your products are not equivalent. Rather, each of your products requires its own brand identity. Here are 5 tips for branding your product.

Tip #1: Distinguish between your company and your product: Your company is not the product you are trying to brand. Some companies waste enormous resources and confuse customers when they divide their branding efforts carelessly between their company name and a specific product. When you message to the public, be crystal clear about whether you are talking about your company or your product.

Tip #2: Select a logo that is applicable to multiple media: Quite simply: your logo should look just as good on your business cards and letterhead as it does on your Web site. Make sure you choose a logo that reproduces well in multiple media. Ask a graphics design specialist for their input.

Tip #3: Leverage every customer-facing process to build your brand: Your brand is not just about your name, your logo, and your tagline: it is about the total package. Examine every customer-facing point your employees have - including telephone calls, e-mails, your Web site, ads . . . even how product returns are processed - and make sure that they say the right thing about your brand.

Tip #4: Do not spread your brand too thinly: If you have built your brand for one product or product line, it can be a good idea to expand that niche using your current brand equity. However, it is usually a very poor idea to try to spread that brand to other product lines. Imagine if BMW came out with a line of high-end golf carts. You get the picture. Doing this will only serve to dilute your brand.

Tip #5: Work to associate a specific customer promise with your brand: Your customers should always be reminded of one particular quality that they will always experience, without fail, whenever they do business with you. This is your customer promise and everything about your brand should reinforce this customer promise, without fail, every time. Consistency is key here as even a single point of failure could ruin your brand image for a group of customers which can never be restored.

Branding a product is not complicated, but it does require expertise, attention, and careful thought. By developing an effective branding strategy your products stands to fair very well against its competition. <bio>Building a brand?
Branding is a hot topic these days. It's not only related to products, but to the "brand" of celebrities, political campaigns, and even cities. What is a brand anyway?

Let's clear up some misconceptions. Branding is not the logo, or the tagline, or the celebrity face. This would be branding at it's shallowest.

The reason that great brands thrive is because of something much more than a huge advertising budget and slick marketing campaigns. People and communities are attracted by shared values. Great brands know what their values are and not only communicate them, but demonstrate these values at every level of their operations.

Within every great brand is an implied "promise". This promise is called the core brand message. It is the one thing that the organization can consistently deliver on, day in and day out. It has to be authentic. Imagine if FedEx didn't get your package there overnight, or Starbucks made a lousy cup of coffee!

It is this authenticity and reliability that builds trust with the brand's constituency. Trust compounds over time; a great brand will grow because of this compounding effect on its relationship with the communities it serves. Great brands define and express their values; create a core brand message they consistently deliver on; and convey and demonstrate these values and messages effectively and congruently.

So how can you benefit from this type of approach?

Branding works when it is adapted by the whole organization. This means that the brand is communicated through every point of contact internally and externally. There are many ways an organization can send out mixed messages.

When a complete branding program is introduced, all communications focus on the same consistent message; stakeholders and employees have branding guidelines for all of their communications and interactions with the community; and suppliers such as consultants, public relations, and promotions agencies have proper direction.

What a great brand is made of - the components of consistency:

1. Core values are the cornerstones of a great brand. Your organization already has certain values it adheres to - have they been articulated and clarified? Focusing on the 3-4 core values your organization has is helpful in determining what you communicate and how you interact in the world.

2. The core brand message is a statement that includes your "brand promise". What is the one thing that you can deliver on regardless of the circumstances? What can you always be counted on for? Keep in mind this is not a guarantee, but rather a promise to deliver on a consistent basis.

3. The brand personality is a way to personalize and humanize an organizational brand. People interact with people, not conceptual legal entities. What is the brand personality of your organization? Is it young or middle aged? Scholarly or hip? Traditional or trend-setting?

4. The brand icons are all of the visual and audio symbols that communicate who you are. The logo is only one aspect of this iconography - it also includes all print, online, broadcast media communications and promotions.

Branding is something that takes place in the heart. It's a relationship that is built on trust and consistency. It's the promise in an on-going relationship between the organization and its constituency. It is built over time and compounds with time. It can be mythic and enduring, or it can be weak and superfluous.

What is the inherent strength of your brand? What do you deliver on? And what values does your organization demonstrate and live through? <bio>Tim Robertson RGD saves companies time and money.
The top 5 preventable mistakes mortgage originators make are the 5 biggest reasons why realtors resist referring you to their clients. They are the reason why some realtors will just wash their hands clean and say "Forget it! I'll just leave the financing up to my clients." Find out what these top 5 reasons are and how to fix them.

1 =97 Lack of Good and Frequent Communication

Not providing frequent (even daily) updates to your clients and the realtor throughout the entire loan process can cause undue stress and frustration.

Solution: Create a strong guarantee that promises frequent updates throughout the loan process. You might even consider giving up a portion of your commission if you don't provide adequate communication. Then engineer your business to ensure you over-deliver.

2 =97 Last Minute Changes at the Closing Table

Realtors hate it when the mortgage broker throws curve balls at their client at the last minute. Some examples might included...

* More documentation needed

* Terms of the loan changes

* Rate changes

You get the picture.

Solution: Create a strong guarantee that delineates precisely what you will do to prevent these last minute changes from occurring. Then engineer your business to fulfill on that promise.

3 =97 Late Closings

Simply put... realtors hate delays on their pay cheques, not to mention the added stress and frustration that can come as a result of deadlines not being met. Sometimes the deal can even fall through because of a late closing. Even innocent mistakes committed by the mortgage originator can cause a domino effect that ultimately results in late closings.

Solution: Create a strong guarantee that explains what you will do (in your power) to prevent late closings from occurring. Then engineer your business to fulfill on that promise.

4 =97 Repeatedly Asking for More Documentation

A surefire way to torque off your clients and your realtors is to keep coming back over and over again asking for more and more documentation. Not only is it time consuming for you, but it sends a message to your clients and realtors that you are not a true professional.

Solution: Create a strong guarantee that explains how you will provide a comprehensive checklist to your clients - upfront - that explains all of the documentation you require. Make a policy that ensures you get all of the critical information you need before you submit the application.

And last but not least...

5 =97 Interest Rates Changing at the Last Minute

When you set an expectation for a certain interest rate the client will expect you to follow through on that promise. When that promise is not fulfilled, it looks poorly on you but it also reflects poorly on the realtor who referred you. Realtors hate that!

Solution: Create a yet another strong guarantee that explains precisely what you will do to prevent these last minute rate changes from occurring. And you know the rest... engineer your business to fulfill on that promise.

Conclusion

These 5 preventable mistakes are the 5 biggest reasons why realtors resist referring you to their clients. They are the reason why some realtors will just wash their hands clean and say "Forget it! I'll just leave the financing up to my clients." Have you ever heard that?

By creating and honoring strong performance guarantees that address each one of these issues, you prove to your clients and your realtors that you are a true , mortgage professional. You are rising above the crowd and committing to excellence.
Over the last few years many people have started to make a good income by getting paid by companies for market research and filling in online surveys. In turn, companies have become aware that they can better gauge the publics reaction to an offer, service or product by paying for peoples opinions. This has led to massive increase in sites that promise you get paid surveys.

So, the question becomes, how do you find sites that deliver what they promise and are worth your time and which ones should you steer clear of all together. One way is to use search engines such as Google, Yahoo or MSN and to type phrases such as "get paid surveys" or "surveys that pay" etc but what tends to happen is you get presented with a massive amount of choice, currently over 400 thousand sites for the term - get paid surveys, and you end up becoming a member of sites that don't deliver what they promise because you have no idea of where to start, which is frustrating when you want to start making money from home.

There are many fantastic get paid survey sites out on the internet today but as we've discussed the search engine option isn't the way to find them, especially if you're just starting out. You don't know which companies pay well, pay on time or even pay at all. When starting out you need advice from others that get paid surveys regularly. They can help and guide you to make the right choices when signing up to survey sites and will also tell you which ones to avoid using, due to problems with payment or un kept promises. Where do you find these people?

The best place to start is internet forums, communities of people who all share the same interests. Forums on get paid surveys are easily found on search engines -- just type in any subject matter and simply add forum after it and you will be presented with thousands of these online communities. Forums are filled with people that have been testing, signing up and making money out of surveys for years. They cover thousands around the subject and are filled with valuable information that you won't find anywhere else. Within these forums people regularly talk about which sites they have joined, how much money these sites pay and whether they are worth pursuing or are one to stay away from.

Forums are a great way, and more importantly a fast way, of finding the sites out there that are really worth joining to get you on the road of making money from home. Why sift through thousands of search engine results for get paid surveys and ultimately ending up with a dud when you can find out straight from the horses mouths where others are earning money? Surveys are a fantastic way to earn money from the comfort of your own home, you just need to do a bit of research so you don't get ripped off.<bio>Get paid surveys here now.
When someone is looking to recruit another person into their network marketing business, they offer some variation of one big promise: Financial independence, big income or whatever money can buy, e.g. the mansion on the hill, the fancy belts cars, etc. That's the promise.

However, no one, at least not on their websites or in their standard presentations that I have ever seen, tells anyone the hidden costs associated with the business of network marketing. Five hidden costs come to mind, and you may have more. Here are my five:

1. It takes money to develop a business

2. It takes time and effort

3. There's a social cost: you may be socially ostricized by some people you know.

4. Your self-esteem will likely take a big hit as you discover people don't react the way you thought they would

5. There is no guarantee of success. In fact, there's a very high rate of failure.

Aren't these real costs of our business? And who, that you know, actually TELLS it like it is up front?

Have you been taught to hide these costs from your business prospects too?

If so, there's really no surprise when most of those who start drop out, is there? Especially those who are inexperienced doing a business of their own.

And to an experienced business person checking out your business, someone who hides the hidden costs looks either ignorant or dishonest.

Not a good thing.

What if, for the big banana hunt, we turn tables and LEAD with the hidden costs?

ASK for people who have what it takes to make it work, and who have the attitude, resources and energy to put into it.

Yes, fewer will sign up. But they'd be better qualified and more likely to make a success of it.

Think?

andquot;Have you discovered the five hidden costs of network marketing?andquot; <bio>Kim Klaver is Harvard andamp; Stanford educated.
In Deuteronomy 8:18, God told the people through Moses, that He had given them the power to obtain wealth so that He could establish the Abrahamic covenant with them just as He had with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

"Establish," here, would be more understandable had our translators used the word "continue" in place of "establish."

You see, the Abrahamic covenant was already established over four hundred years earlier with Father Abraham. Then it was reconfirmed with his son Isaac. Then it was reconfirmed with his grandson Jacob. Each reconfirmation just continued the unbroken force of it. It did not, however, establish it.

My point here is this. Those people with whom He reconfirmed or continued the Abrahamic covenant in Deuteronomy 8 (over four hundred years after He initially made it with Father Abraham) are simply the seed of Abraham who fell heir to the provisions of the covenant. One of these provisions is the supernatural power to supernaturally obtain wealth.

You are just as much a seed of Abraham as Isaac or Jacob. Yes, these three were partakers of the promise of wealth in the Abrahamic covenant by birth. We Gentile Christians are partakers of the wealth promise by grafting. Paul taught us about the grafting.

Rom 11:17 17And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree; (KJV)

Rom 11:24 24For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? (KJV)

We Gentile Christians are the wild branches grafted into the olive tree so that we can equally partake with the physical seed of Abraham in the covenant promise of wealth.

As such, by grafting, we Gentile Christians are entitled to the same covenant provision of wealth as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and the group in Deuteronomy 8.

Notice also that the wealth provision in the covenant isn't bound by time. Whether four hundred years or four thousand years later makes no difference. The Abrahamic wealth provision is timeless since this covenant is a forever covenant.

A complete understanding of our covenant rights to Abrahamic wealth enables us to see that God gave this wonderful wealth provision in His forever covenant to us Gentile Christians also. God also establishes the Abrahamic covenant with us by giving us the same power to get wealth supernaturally. <bio>Dr. Jay Snell authored eleven books proving the healing, prosperity, family well being, eternal security, pretribulation rapture and salvation provided for Christians in the Abrahamic covenant. These books presented many times on TBN. http://www.jaysnell.org </bio>
