Do you know that even though a group of traders buy the same stocks or options at the same time, some of them may become millionaires over time and some of them simply go broke?

All things equal, the most important factor that determines if you would become a millionaire (or billionaire?) or a complete loser over time trading in the stock markets is not how accurately you can pick stocks but how you manage your trades! Yes, portfolio management, or on a more micro scale, trade management, is the only factor that determines whether you make it or not in the stock markets!

Trade Management Example

John and Peter are 2 stock traders who agreed at the same time that XYZ company stock is bullish and decided to buy XYZ stocks together.

XYZ is trading at $10. John and Peter have $1000 each. John decided to put all his money into XYZ stocks and bought 100 shares of XYZ stocks. Peter decided to stick to his trade management strategy of using no more than 30% of his equity into any one trade. Peter then bought 30 shares of XYZ stocks.

As it turned out, stocks that are expected to go up usually come straight down. Instead of going up, XYZ company stocks fell from $10 to $6 within a few days. Both traders decided to sell their positions in order to preserve equity. John is left with $600 while Peter still has $880.

Both traders then bought ABC company stocks trading at $20 with the same trade management strategy. ABC rallied from $20 to $35 and both traders sold their positions. With some help from other colleagues in college who specialized in computers, the group was able to find the suspect who has been doing this which led to that person's arrest. Knowing that much of money will never be recovered, everyone else was happy that this wouldn't happen again.

This experience gave John something new to do in life. Since there were hackers and other fraudulent people doing this to others, this individual decided to make a private investigator agency.

Having served in the army in Desert storm, it was easy to pass the course provided by a reputable school that will be another step forward in getting the license. After a few months, John was able to get everything needed to start the practice from the local office and the business was born.

There are a lot of private investigator agencies in New Jersey. Since John did not want to compete with the others, it was best to specialize only as a financial security service. This meant banks, lending institutions and insurance companies were going to be the only clients.

When a customer files a claim, it is up to John and the team to do a background check. This includes looking into the person's employment history, credit rating, number of accounts held in different back, deposits and withdrawals.

Most of the investigation was done using a computer. If the person passes the security check, only then will the client's loan or insurance claim be processed.

The honest business as a certified public accountant made the business perform well in the first year of operation. Terri Marie: If there were a John Harricharan university, what courses would be required?

John Harricharan: I would think -- now I must admit this is unique. I have never, never had that question. And so you got me there for a while. To form the curriculum, I would have to sit with my counsel of advisors, who would be possibly a whole bunch of discarnates and then invisibles and the few from earth life 21st century. But we'd have to think very carefully because I think there will be certain courses that would be extremely, extremely required for graduation. One is "Silence 203", there would be a "Prayer 101", there would be "Understanding 401" because that's a senior level course.

Terri Marie: Okay.

John Harricharan: We really don't get there until we are about ready to graduate and then we say my goodness. If I knew what I know now, if I knew it when I was in my 20s or 30s or in my teens, what a different life it would be that's precisely why you don't take that course until much later you were supposed to evolve into it. But there are certain ones like "Prayer 101" Silence, whatever number I gave it=85

Terri Marie: 102 maybe?

John Harricharan: Yeah.

A. Vishwanath: 203.

Terri Marie: Yeah. Okay. Vish is writing them down.

John Harricharan: "Compassion 201" or and "Compassion 202", that's a one year course and this is a four-year University you're talking about. And there would be "Tolerance 101" because that's one of the first ones we need to do, to be able to tolerate every different idea not to agree with them. But to look at them and say maybe, maybe there is something there, and tolerate them, which means, Every branch of Hinduism, every branch of Islam, every branch of Sikhism, Buddhism, Christianity, Judaism or atheism and to look at the person and say that's only a belief, that's only a structured belief, but who is this person, who has this beliefs?

And this person is that shining light, remember the little drop of water in the wave in the ocean? That's what that person is and that person is connected to me through eternity, through all time and all space. And if I don't understand that person I cannot understand me, which brings "Understanding" and a course "Life sacrifice", which means not sacrificing comfort, but sacrificing ideas, which we don't need any longer, when you cut your finger nails, clip your finger nails or have a haircut, you are not sacrificing the hair on your head or your finger nails.

You are just evolving you are just growing because you don't need that piece of nail or that hair any longer. So we get rid of out worn ideas and to teach those things at the university make elective classes also where one could take walk on water, that's a post graduate course. You don't get there until you do all the others and you might say well, see, I want to be able to walk on water. Well, when I was a little boy when I was five or six years old, I would see the guy who was driving the bus on the main road and say I want to drive that bus, I want to be just like that man. Naturally there came a time when I could have done that and went way beyond to being just a bus driver.

So this is how we will evolve into it, you will get to the walk on water course. So after you've done all the others, because it comes naturally, one leads to the other. So that's the university, that's quite a thought you have there, Terri Marie I might have to explore that a little bit more and to talk to my friend Vish about, "hey how about a university?

Terri Marie: Yes expanding the site.

John Harricharan: Yeah. A university without walls, where we do give these courses, where there will be lectures, where I will give just like a professor, give a lecture and there will be assignments and they are all self-directed anyway. And then after so many courses and so forth some one will have an invisible degree, which is called A Life Degree.

Terri Marie: I love that, John.

A. Vishwanath: That's a terrific, you know, school of thought.

You know I want all our listeners on this call John to visualize their moment of glory in the next few minutes. So, can you give them a small dose of the magic of feeling the peace?

John Harricharan: Yeah. First of all, as I said earlier, many of us or many people would like to think of themselves not a special anybody but as little clods of clay. And yet when we do that we discount the greatness in ourselves, in our souls, in our beings. We are unique in all of eternity. There has never been another Vish or another John or another Tom or Jean or Mary as the people who are listening.

You are unique beyond anything else. This world would have been such a sad place, had you not been there. Now, that you are here and you start thinking about it, I would like you to remember the moments of your greatness. I wrote this, I think, in the book called, "When You Can Walk on Water Why Take the Boat." I would like you to remember the moments of your greatness because it is in remembering the times of your successes.

The times when you were happiest that you become even more successful and even happier, and it doesn't really have to do with thinking as non-thinking at times, it goes beyond thinking into a feeling. It is not even visualizing. It's just getting quite within yourselves telling that voice that's going at 1000 miles in hour in your head, or a 1000 kilometers in hour your head.



Just telling it for a little while getting quite and listening to the sounds of the universe in your mind and feeling that you are unique, you are just a special person and you have a place here, and there is a reason you're here, and you've got a duty.

And probably, the duty might not be anything beyond being who you are as brilliantly as possible.



And then, turning around and saying thank you. Not thank you to any being or spirit or anything, but just letting go of everything and just being grateful for being here. You start doing a little bit of this and you will find that every day you get a little better, you feel it little better, things work out a little better for you. Flowers grow where you walk, the rain doesn't fall as hard when it doesn't need to and you will find yourself and evolving into the greater spirit that you have always been.



You've never really being at a clod. You've always been a great person. And you need to know that. You don't need others to tell you, you need to tell yourself. And if you do that you will find a power within you uncommon in ordinary times. You will find an energy coming up within you that you have not found before.



And it'll be like the great writer said "You have opened the door where -- through which your splendor, your greater splendor will arise." And the imprisoned splendor will come out and you will shine so beautifully, so brilliantly that your light will touch every other being you come in contact with. And in so doing you will become even better and greater. So that's all I have to say to them today, Vish.

What can we do about this? If you are one of the many people in the world who has the same problem with names, you can still try very simple remembering steps whenever an opportunity arises. You see, the problem here does not entirely rely on memory problems. There is just too much emphasis put on this and with people hearing it from others, just makes the problem worse.

If you have not done so yet, the next time you meet a new person, anticipate the chance when they introduce their names. Hold on to it and as long as you are still in conversation with the person, pick up all the facial details that you can and associate it with the person's name. Just like when somebody walks up on you and say their name up front, immediately pick out something that is distinct from their facial features and associate it this with the person's name right away. So when a friend asks you several days after whom were you talking to, you can easily respond with "Oh, the skinny guy with curly hair? His name is John."

Another effective way to let this name-remembering problem go away is to let go of the attitude itself. Saying "I'm bad with names" isn't going to solve the problem at all. Take the effort to let go of this bad habit and learn how to conquer it.

Whether you are partying with friends or attending an important business meeting with valuable clients, tell yourself that you need to remember these people's names. Help yourself improve your memory. While you are still with these people, use their names repetitively. It does not matter if you sound like a recorder, the purpose is for you to be able to get used to the name until it makes an impression to your memory. Phrases like "What do you do for work, John?", "John, can you pass that to me please?" or "Thanks, John" are helpful ways to how you can remember names easily. I know we're not going to get through them all today, but I wanted to at least give the listeners a taste of the incredible wisdom and insights that you have.

So I'd like to start with -- when did you first realize, John, that there was a spiritual side to life?

John Harricharan: It's interesting because that's a question that's asked of me always, in interviews, in talks, wherever -- "When did you realize there is a different side, a spiritual side, to life?" And my answer is this. It's another question.

It's -- When did I realize that I needed air to breathe, to live, or I needed food?

I can't say when I had that realization. I have a feeling that that realization is deep within each and every one of us. And we do look at it consciously, as we grow older. So I would say I was born with this, just like I think that all almost 7 billions of us on earth are born with it. I just started looking at it at a much earlier age.

Terri Marie: Well, thank you, John. And you seem to have a great grasp of this and you can put it into such simple terms. How are people going to be able to use this Spiritual simplicity site to help their spiritual growth?

John Harricharan: One of my mottos was one of the things I have always wanted to do was to make things so simple that everybody or anybody, just anyone, at any level would be able to understand them. I am reminded of what Albert Einstein once said, which was "Everything should be made as simple as possible and not one bit simpler."

So the Spiritual simplicity site, I think, is going to be one of the greatest gifts that we could give here on earth that Vish is putting together with some of my input, because it will take all these complex things. Everything that people are talking about, if boiling a crystal, facing the morning sun, and drinking the water and turning around three times, and all kinds of rituals and all kinds of teachings, self-help, self-development, talk about mantras and kundali rising, and what not -- things that people don't even have any idea exist and put them into what I call practical, simple methods of achieving harmony in life of balance and body mind spirit.

It's got to be useful. It's got to be simple. So that anyone could use it. I like what my late friend the great Sunbear used to say, "If your medicine doesn't grow corn, what good is it. " So if what we say in this site doesn't help people to become more prosperous if they are not, became healthier if they have lacked health and they become -- have the greatest best relationships on earth, if what we teach or what we share in this site, wouldn't do that than what use is it.
