I've been involved in online marketing for many years now. Since I'm fairly successful at what I do, a lot of friends (and even a few strangers) have asked me for some advice about how they can make their online MLM venture work. I usually tell them that it doesn't matter what kind of product they have because the real key to increasing sales (and, therefore, the bottom line) is to increase the size of their salesforce. In other words, they have to know where to find business opportunity seekers who are ready to make money.

The good news is the fact that there's no shortage of business opportunity seekers out there. That's because everyone has heard by now that there is very good money to be made on the Internet and they want to take a piece of the pie. The bad news is that not every business opportunity seeker is right for your project. Instead of wasting time and money on a extensive advertising attack that mostly reaches people who have no meaning of following up on your offer, you should limit your ads to a select group of business opportunity seekers who are truly interested in your sales pitch.

That sounds easy enough. But how are you supposed to find these business opportunity seekers in order to get your message out to them. The best way to do so is to purchase a few hot mailing lists from upright sources. These mailing lists contain hundreds of names and email addresses of business opportunity seekers looking to join lawful operations like yours.

These are people who freely submitted their contact information and are waiting to hear from you. That's what makes targeted mailing lists much more valuable than general lists. You won't have to worry that the people you contact via targeted mailing lists might view your pitch as spam. Your emails will only go out to a captive audience of excited prospects.

I will offer you one caution here. Prior to purchasing a mailing list of business opportunity seekers, be sure to check into the seller's status. The last thing you want to do is spend good money on a list that contains stale names or invalid email addresses.

So if you're ready to expand your salesforce or pitch your products and services to targeted business opportunity seekers, then I suggest that you consider purchasing some MLM mailing lists. You'll be amazed at how much easier it is to close sales when your prospects actually want to hear from you. <bio>Get the latest articles and resources on how to http://www.articledirectoryzone.com/earn-extra-money.html as well as home business online. </bio>

If you've been involved in multi-tier marketing, network marketing programme or stay-at-home type business, then you'll most likely be interested in building your business using business opportunity seekers. These are people who have expressed an interest in a home-based business, extra-income opportunity, multi level-type marketing, or entrepreneurship by signing up on one or many websites that align business opportunity seekers with the most appropriate and fitting offering available.

There'll definitely be some who may not be interested in actually running a business of their own, but simply want to make some additional income working for someone else. In this instant, what they may be looking for is to get a second or part-time job. Those who are serious business owners will be those business opportunity seekers who wants to do their own thing, and to be able to make their own decisions on business wise. They will not bother with what somebody wants or instructs them to do.

There is a wide variety of list providers online that specializes in collating information regards to perspective business opportunity seekers, by asking them to fill out a simple form about the type of business venture they are looking for. The lead company then compiles and gathers this information for sale to multi-level marketers as well as other types of businesses who need fresh responsive leads, not just lists that have been circulated and distributed to hundreds or perhaps even thousands of people already.

Calling these people will not be a positive experience because they are already constantly bombarded with calls from people in the same position as you are. They do not want to hear what you have to say. On the other hand, speaking with a genuine business opportunity seeker would be a contrasting and hence, refreshing experience, because this person really wants to listen to you about what you have to offer. Lead generation companies also sell pre-qualified leads that can increase your efficiency and probability for success. These pre-qualified business opportunity seekers have been contacted by the lead company to ascertain and confirm the type of opportunity they are seeking, so as to match them as closely as possible for the right fit.

Business opportunity seekers have always been the primary target for any MLM, direct sales, home based businesses. It is not always possible to continue recruiting new people from your warm market only. At some point, all multi-level marketers must search for business builders outside of their group of family, friends, and co-workers to connect with those people who are just waiting to be found. So, are you a business opportunity seeker? <bio>http://www.articledirectoryzone.com provides the latest news, reviews, articles and write-ups on technology, marketing http://www.getmarketinginformation.com </bio>

There's a common misconception that people who search for free stuff online are not good prospects as customers. While that may be true in many cases, that doesn't mean they can't help you make money.

We're going to discuss how you can make money from these freebie seekers by not selling them any products.

You're going to send these people to companies which will pay you for each lead you send them.

These pay per lead companies will pay you each time you send them a visitor who does one of a few things:

1.) Fills out a form to request a free sample 2.) Downloads a free software program 3.) Signs up for a newsletter

What's important to know is that these people will not be handing over any money to the company. Yet, you can still generate an income by sending visitors to these companies.

That's because these companies know that they will make back the money they invest in paying for the leads.

Here is a reputable company which will bring you quality pay per lead offers: <a href="http://www.azoogleads.com" >http://www.azoogleads.com

There are many others in various niches. You can find them through Google.

You've found the lead companies. Now you need to find the freebie seekers and do some match making. Have a look at any of the various keyword research tools on the market. You'll find tons of people searching free stuff.

These freebie seekers don't stop at just one freebie. When they're on a roll, they'll practically run over anybody that gets in their way to find more free offers.

There's another similar market that you could even tackle. That's the coupon market. People who are searching for all sorts of coupons and rebates for products online.

There are enough companies using Adwords to advertise their sites that you could set up a content site and make money by placing Adsense ads on your sites.

I used to wonder how these sites were making money when their focus was on free stuff. Now using pay per lead programs and Adsense, I can see how much money there is flowing in this niche. <bio>Gary Huynh makes his living by creating and publishing information products to niche markets.
The internet has opened many opportunities for people to earn money at home. It has also opened many opportunities for con-artists to come into our homes. When looking at deals and opportunities on the internet it is important to make sure that you are dealing with reputable people and companies prior to giving out too much personal information.

In the past year I have tried to start a business out of my home. I had seen so many advertisements on the internet as well as the television about making money from home by being your own boss that I thought that this seemed like an interesting thing to look into. I did a search on general business opportunity seekers to see where I would be lead. My first search produced several thousands hits. I knew that not all of the business opportunity seekers could possibly be legitimate, but I did not know how to begin to sort through the vast numbers.

I opened a few sites and read about various opportunities for home base businesses. Some of the sites seemed like they were very well done and professional and others looked like they were put together by a third grader. I could not believe that there were sites that were proclaiming to be looking for serious business opportunity seekers, yet they had many misspelled words as well as wording that did not make sense. I knew that I would not waste my time putting my personal information into these sites. I did find a site that seemed very legitimate.

There was a survey form to fill out regarding what type of home based business the person was looking for. It also asked your permission to turn over your personal information to several companies so that you could be given additional information. The survey asked for the best time to contact and also asked for your telephone number.

My wife was wary of having our telephone number out on the internet, but I filled out the survey form and hoped for the best. I was contacted by four companies that have legitimate businesses through the internet. One in particular offered a great deal of support from other business owners as well as a product that was on the market for several years and well backed by the company.

There were several business opportunity seekers that had already joined the company and I was given there contact information to discuss the business with them. I decided that this would be a good business to become involved with. I have not gotten rich, but I am making enough money to stay at home and still help pay bills. <bio>John Mailer has been an internet marketer for a number of years.
Are you sitting by the phone, twiddling your thumbs, just waiting to get a call about the job you just posted for? Have you been sitting there a really long time? Have your calls gone unreturned? Maybe it's time to take a closer look at your resume.

Please =96 no sighing allowed. I know you've heard it all before and you're probably really tired of even looking at your resume. Everything is kind of running together to where you don't know if your resume is up to par or not. That's why you need=85

An Extra Pair of Eyes

Have a friend, parent, heck, even someone off the street look at your resume. Ask them if it makes them want to know more about you, if it makes them in awe of what you have accomplished. Be sure to pick someone who can be objective and who has some business acumen so you can get a clear and accurate assessment.

Unbeknownst to many job seekers, there are professional resume writing services who offer free resume evaluations. No obligation. Now, don't get me wrong, there are some free consultations out there that aren't worth your time. However, some really go in-depth and can provide some excellent feedback.

You Have to Dig Deep to Find the Gold

So often times job seekers don't realize all the important achievements in their career. They feel unworthy of anything that really screams, "Yes, I'm perfect for the job!" so they write modestly in a way that doesn't showcase the goods.

Big mistake.

Employers are begging job seekers to tell them why they need to interview them. The hiring managers definitely don't want to waste their time looking for a needle in a haystack. End their frustration and give them what they want:

=95 A resume that has no fluff and instead is filled with concrete facts and figures =95 A title so that the hiring manager knows immediately what job you are applying for =95 An executive summary that is about how your needs meet their needs; not about what you want =95 Achievements that are quantified whenever possible =95 Less about what you did but how you did it and the results that came from it

I'm not going to lie =96 writing a resume that actually grabs the attention of a hiring manager and provides enough proof to garner an interview is not an easy task. That's why there are professionals out there who do it for a living. However, if you come armed with the knowledge and some writing skill, you've all but ensured yourself an increase in job search satisfaction. <bio>A leading expert in the employment search industry, Heather Eagar is passionate about providing working professionals with current, reliable and effective job search tools and information.
In the not-so-recent-past, job seekers had to spend hours upon hours walking around visiting companies and career consultants hoping to get a good job. They had to pour over newspapers and job listings for hours and then call up every prospective employer to ask for an appointment. But the advent of the Internet has changed all that. Now one of the most effective and efficient ways to look for a job is by using online career services. Unlike days past, the new online job services offer comprehensive advice concerning interviews, resume writing, and even career coaching -- all at reasonable prices, and some services are free of charge.

Online Career Sites- Job Searching Made Simple

Online career sites started out small -- but with time they have become bigger and better, and offer more value-added services. With online career services, you have a rich repository of career-related information at your fingertips 24/7. Using an online job service is very efficient. Instead of having to go to several different sources for career-related information and help, you can find everything you need in one place.

Is The Online Career Site Reputable?

We've all heard of job-related scams, so it pays to be careful. Scammers create false vacancies and post them with the intention of getting personal information about candidates and later misusing it. If you follow certain practices while using an online career service, you will be secure. To verify that an online career service will do what they say they will, ask yourself the following questions:

•	Is there a 'help' function -- contact email or otherwise? •	Does the service offer career coaching (it is hard to fake this)? •	Is there sufficient information on the site (a dearth of information suggests a scam)?

You can also verify the reliability of an online career service from sources like the Better Business Bureau.

A reputable online career service offers lots of features and information upfront. A good site will include lots of free articles, resume writing help and career coaching available. In addition, they will offer free tools and assessments for job seekers to use on their own before seeking live help.

Gone are the days when a career site only allowed job seekers to post their resumes and search available vacancies. Today's career sites are comprehensive tools, offering complete career management, planning and consulting. <bio>A leading expert in the employment search industry, Heather Eagar is passionate about providing working professionals with up-to-date, reliable and effective job search tools and information.
You're really doing it. You're going back into the rat race. After being out of the workforce for a couple of months - or even several years - it's time to jump back in with both feet. But how do you do it?

I Can Do It

That's your mantra for your job search. You're concerned -- even intimidated -- by all those people out there who have a stellar work-record. But you know what? You have something special and unique that you can bring to an employer. That is what you have to remember throughout this whole process. You have to have confidence in yourself so that others will have confidence in you as well.

By all accounts, job seekers with a picture-perfect employment history do tend to have an advantage over you. Their resumes may be better received than those who are re-entering the workforce or are changing careers. But just because they may have an edge, doesn't mean you can't create your own.

Explain What You've Been Doing

This might seem like a very simple step, but oftentimes job seekers are afraid to address their employment gap in their resume package. However, if you ignore it, then the employer is left to fill in the gaps...usually not to the benefit of the job seeker.

In your cover letter, briefly explain why you've been unemployed. No need to go into great detail, but you should address it. While you're at it, you can tell them what you've been doing with your 'time off' and how you've been constantly trying to improve yourself and enhance your skills. You've been doing this, right?

A Different Format May Be Necessary

Employers are used to seeing resumes in a certain format. When they see it differently, a red flag might go up. Why? Because it's often a sign of a less-than-perfect work history. That's okay. You can overcome that. Conduct a brainstorming session with yourself and write down all your skills and achievements. That is going to be your biggest challenge. It can be from past work history, what you've done while unemployed, or a combination of both. Then grab a couple of resume samples you can look at for help with formatting.

Interview as a Professional

Even if you're a mom going back to work after several years, you have to leave that persona behind. The minute you speak to someone -- via phone or in person -- about a job, you are a job seeker in the professional world.

Interviewing is nerve-wracking even for job seekers who go through them every couple of years. It can be downright frightening for those who are returning to the workforce. One of the reasons for this is the lack of practice. Another one is lack of confidence. Sometimes, if you practice, practice, practice, the confidence will follow because you know you can present yourself in a professional manner and answer all those tough interview questions that are bound to be asked.

So for you job seekers going back to work, congratulations! You are embarking on a new chapter of your life. View it is a positive event, prepare yourself and your resume package and you just might find going back to work is an extremely satisfying and rewarding experience. <bio>Heather Eagar is a former professional resume writer and creator of Moms Back to Work, a site that offers help to moms returning to work.
Cover letter templates can be a great asset to job seekers if they are used correctly. There seems to be some cover letter misconceptions though among job seekers. They use these templates based on their misconception of the cover letter templates and this leads to them receiving no calls requesting they come for an interview. The jobs seeker who have these cover letter misconceptions do not realize they are doing anything wrong when they use the cover letter templates incorrectly based on their misconceptions of its use.

One cover letter template misconception is that the job seeker can take this cover letter template and use it as is. Cover letter templates are not ready to use templates. They are just a basis for which to give you an idea on how to create your cover letter. When you send one out the way it is, you are basically just sending the prospective employer a stale already seen a thousand times before cover letter.

Another cover letter misconception is that job seekers believe that the cover letter templates that are on the internet and in books are designed just the way prospective employers want the cover letters to look. While prospective employers want to see professional looking cover letters, they are also looking for the fresh and unique cover letter that makes them take notice of the applicant.

A big cover letter template misconception is that the job seeker should not add anything or take away any section of the cover letter template. As said above the cover letter template is just a starting point to give you ideas on how to put a cover letter together. Also as stated above the prospective employer is looking for something fresh and unique when scanning a cover letter. Therefore feel free to add to and take away from what the cover letter template is showing you to make your cover letter fresh and unique.

There are places on the internet that will use a questionnaire and have you answer questions then place your responses into a cover letter for you. This is still just a template and again cover letter template misconceptions surround this method as well. Job seekers seem to think that the use of this cover letter writing service will give them a great cover letter. Again this is just a template that you will need to read the cover letter over and see if it truly shines and then add or take away areas that will allow for it to truly be a great cover letter.

Some cover letter templates do not show the use of bullets within the cover letter. The use of bullets can be an asset to you as you highlight with the bullets your qualifications and character that will be of benefit for the position you are applying for. Bullets can also make the cover letter easier to scan allowing for the prospective employer to quickly read and assess their desire to offer an interview to you.

Only you truly know yourself and all your experiences, qualifications, strengths and weaknesses. You also know more about the company that you are applying for than some internet website or book you got from the library. Therefore you are the only that can truly put together the perfect cover letter. You need to take the time you show that you will be an asset to the company in which you are applying for.

Another cover letter template misconception that job seeker have is that when they do create a truly great, fresh and unique cover letter for an prospective employer, they then use that same cover letter for all prospective employers. This first cover letter should only be a template to use to create other fresh and unique cover letters for additional prospective employers.

By the debunking of the above cover letter template misconceptions you are allowing yourself to see how to truly create a cover letter that will land you an interview. It is the interview that will allow the prospective employer to see your true potential and see what a benefit you will be to their company. Do not allow your cover letter to cheat you out of the chance to show the prospective employer who you truly are. <bio>Mario Churchill is a freelance author and has written over 200 articles on various subjects.
When you have a dream and follow it with your complete being, the most unusual opportunities unfold. During the early 1840s John Sutter wanted to build a large agricultural empire in California. He had managed to get there from Switzerland, and was determined that nothing get in his way. He and his hired hand, James Marshall, were working on building a sawmill down by the river when they spotted shiny pebbles of a golden color. Could it possibly be gold? It was, much to their dismay! Gold seekers would only get in the way of their agricultural dreams, so they tried to keep it a secret.

Secrets are hard to keep and Sam Brannan in San Francisco caught wind of the potential. Did he want the gold? No! He thought in terms of supply and demand. If gold seekers came they would need shovels and picks and pie tins. Sam bought all of them he could find within hundreds of miles. He bought them for pennies, and when the gold seekers came rushing in, he sold them for fifteen dollars (an exorbitant amount in those days). Within weeks Sam was the same as a millionaire. He made his fortune without ever sweating over the river.

Bending over the river searching for those specks of gold that were half the size of a pea was painful and exhausting work. For those experiencing success it was worth it. News of the sore muscles and aching backs reached an innovative thinker back in Indiana. He made his fortune selling a bottled salve to the fortune seekers who were traveling through on their way to California. "Just rub it all over your body and roll down a hill. The gold will stick to this special salve and you'll be rich without slaving over the river." Those with the glint of gold in their eye couldn'tresist such an offer.

Most of the gold seekers left their homes during 1849 and were dubbed "the 49ers." The majority of them never arrived, but all encountered someone applying the law of supply and demand along the route. Trying to get through the desert without any water took the lives of many. Realizing this, the entrepreneurs in California brought buckets and barrels of water to the dessert -- which they sold for as high as $100 a drink. If you didn't have the money to pay, you were left to dehydrate and die in the desert.

Even though striking it rich with gold, many settlers found it hard to come out ahead financially. While they might have earned a dollar a day back where they originally came from, and were making twenty-five dollars a day now, those selling food were also playing the game of supply and demand. A meal at the end of the day took all of that twenty-five dollars. Those who found sources of food to sell were the ones who became rich. Sutter, the courageous thinker who originally found the gold, had his thousands of acres of agricultural land raided, his cattle stolen and slaughtered for food. Sutter remained penniless. And all the 49ers are now gone.

The elusive value of gold continues to fluctuate as concepts of supply and demand are applied in the minds of people. Ultimately, any object or service is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Although 'all that glitters is not gold,' gold still influences the economies of every nation. <bio>Graeme Nortega is the owner of Fountain Jewels Place Providing best info on Gold online. For more information,go to: http://www.famagold.com </bio>

It's tough out there. Ask anyone looking for a job in nearly any field, and they'll be able to recite a long list of challenges that job-seekers face on a daily basis. Companies are closing or suspending hiring for the foreseeable future, competition for open positions has never been fiercer and the outlook for the nation's economy hasn't been this bleak in generations. Now more than ever, job hunters need to be resourceful in their efforts to secure gainful employment and few websites offer more of these resources than LinkedIn. Why should you add LinkedIn to your job-seeking toolbox? Here are some very good reasons:

•	Resources -- LinkedIn lets you create a profile that potential employers can see and offers a wealth of practical articles on precisely the topics that job hunters need, such as How to Craft a Persuasive Cover Letter, How to Make Your Résumé Stand Out and much more. There are also a wide range of blogs to browse as well as user groups in different categories which registered users can join and with which you can interact, providing an invaluable perspective when you need it the most.

•	Connections -- The importance of making connections when searching for a job cannot be overstated. Many times it is the most unlikely and roundabout connections that help you land an interview. Over 25 million professionals use LinkedIn to share information, ideas and opportunities. Whether you're looking for an old classmate or another professional in your field, registering on the site opens up all these connections for you, along with the business opportunities that presents.

•	Exclusive job listings -- The use of newspaper classifieds in a job search is definitely waning. More jobs than ever are being posted online. LinkedIn's exclusive job listings and advanced job search features make it very easy to browse positions across the country in a wide range of different fields. Users can customize their search by location, company, title, newest listings and other parameters so that they may view only the most relevant positions.

•	Sharing ideas on their Q and A message boards -- LinkedIn's Q and A feature lets users ask questions and receive answers from industry experts and other users on a wide array of practical and esoteric topics. The Q and A feature is indicative of LinkedIn's dedication to providing job seekers all the tools they need to advance their careers and gain a competitive edge in a very tight job market.

•	Competitive Advantage - when you are competing for a vacancy with another group of applicants, you have a distinct advantage if you are being recommended by a trusted connection, are connected to others in the company or even have mutual connections.

There are lots of other Web sites which help people find jobs, but very few can compete with LinkedIn's resources and job listings. It's never been more important for job seekers to explore every opportunity to help them stand out, and LinkedIn helps them accomplish that and a great deal more.<bio>Jeff Tomlin has been an expert in producing sample resumes and cover letters that actually work for many years. This means that any person has a legal right to come to that country and claim asylum.

The asylum process differs from country to country, as does the length of time to make a decision, be that positive or negative.

According to the 2005 UN statistics, the USA admitted the highest number of asylum seekers in the developed world in the past five years with the UK not far behind. I have been to New York and established Polish and Irish communities already exist from previous mass movement of refugees after the potato famine in Ireland and World War II which led to millions of Poles relocating around the war after Stalin had stated that any Poles that fought for the allies would face persecution under the Russian controlled communist government of Poland at that time.

May people see the USA and UK via cable TV and think that the streets are paved with gold. It's only when they arrive in these countries that they realise that life is not easy and that poverty and homelessness still exists in two of the richest countries of the world. The UK has strong colonial links from the days of the British Empire with a third of the world once coming under its protectorate. These strong links, its multi-cultural society and the English language mean the UK is often favoured as a destination for claiming asylum.

The highest number of asylum seekers are coming from Iraq, Iran, Somalia and an increasing number of Chinese are claiming asylum in the UK. The reasons for claiming asylum vary from Political and Religious Oppression to Tribal Conflict and Sexual Orientation in a country that has no freedom regarding sexuality.

The problem is removing those asylum seekers that have been refused asylum as they often disappear into society working illegally and moving from location to location to avoid detention and deportation. Charles Clark is the third Home Secretary in past few years to lose his job over the problem of immigration. These problems are leading to the Far-Right British National Party making political gains due to the immigration problems.

But this increase in far Right popularity has not stopped asylum seekers coming to the UK in search of safety and sanctuary and with the continuing trouble in Iraq, political and nuclear problems in Iran, renewed fighting in Somalia and the ever lasting border war between Ethiopia and Eritrea; It looks like the USA and UK will continue honouring its agreement under the UN Convention for years to come. <bio>David Oglaza is the founder of the Green and Ethical business http://www.guidemegreen.com .
If it's your first job out of high school, college, or university, you might be perplexed as to how to find employment. But you needn't worry; there are plenty of ways to snag employment.

Employment Hint #1: Write an excellent resume

One of the biggest mistakes that job seekers make is to not have an effective resume (called a curriculum vitae or CV overseas). If you've never written one before, now is the time to beef up your skills in this area. You can actually find help from a number of sources, including at your local library and on the Internet. There are also many online firms that will write resumes for you, but be wary. If you're just starting out in your career, it's unlikely that these services will be very helpful. Instead, stick with less costly methods for putting together a resume.

Employment Hint #2: Tell everyone you're on the lookout

One of the best ways to find employment is to tell every person you know that you're actively seeking a job. For many persons, the first job is found through friends. It's really the law of averages -- the more people who are aware of your employment search, the more chances that a job offer will come through.

Employment Hint #3: Check online and print sources for employment

Don't forget to look through your local paper for employment classified ads. Though this might seem "low tech" in today's cyber world, it's a great way to find your first job. You can also try looking online at Hotjobs, Careerbuilder, and Monster. Just be wary of any employment "opportunity" that seems too good to be true, because it probably is.

Employment Hint #4: Don't stay unemployed for long

Even if you have to take a low-paying job, it's important for you to continue to make money while searching for steady employment. If you have to flip burgers for a while, so be it; at least you'll be showing some initiative. Many first-time job seekers (and even mature job seekers) forget that there's no shame in taking on a minimum wage job to pay the bills until a higher paying employment option comes along.

Employment Hint #5: Join a professional group

If you've graduated from college or university with a professional degree, why not invest in a membership to a local organization? For instance, if you have a degree in accounting, there could be a professional accounting nonprofit in your area. By becoming a member, you may just hear about employment openings that aren't offered to the public. You'll also meet people who could help you get a job or who would be willing to employ you themselves.

Remember that the savvy job seeker always exhausts every avenue and never gives up. When you're looking for employment, it can seem as if time is just standing still, but if you play your cards right, you'll find a job long before your bank account has fizzled out. <bio>Robert Michael is a writer for DPI Employment which is an excellent place to find employment links, resources and articles.
There has been a cover letter format frenzy on the internet. Job seekers are looking for a cover letter that will get them the interview that will lead to them landing that job. This has sent them to the internet were there are hordes of places offering cover letters. The downfall to this is that everyone is trying to use these. With everyone trying to grab up one of those perfect cover letters, the prospective employers are starting to see cover letters that are all looking alike. With a so many cover letters landing on their desk like look alike most prospective employers are just trashing these cover letters right along with your resume. What this means for you is that you will never get the chance to even land an interview. Your best bet is to stay away from the cover letter frenzy that is taking place in the job market. According to the Wall Street Journal about 85 percent of cover letters are flawed to the point the job seekers who sent them never get an interview.

You can use a cover letter format for ideas on how to put your cover letter together. Never just re-work a cover letter format and send it in to the prospective employer. The best thing to do when using cover letter formats is to look at more than one and take what works for your cover letter from each one. Then work on putting together your own cover letter that will look unique. You want your cover letter to look professional but at the same time you do not want it to look like ever other cover letter the prospective employer has already seen before.

Another area where the cover letter format frenzy is hurting job seekers is that even when they do write up a unique cover letter they copy this cover letter and send it to all their prospective employers. This is harmful because each cover letter should be unique not only for the job seeker but to the place of employment that they are apply for a position at. You cover letter should address what the company is looking for and how you can fill their hiring need. When you send the same cover letter to each individual employer you are not addressing their individual needs.

When avoiding the cover letter format frenzy you should make sure that your cover letter tells the employer about you. Make sure you stand out and use this page to really sell yourself to the prospective employer. You have one page where part of it is going to be about showing the prospective employer how you can meet their hiring needs and how you are best fit for the job. Make them want to meet you for that interview. So highlight your strengths and qualifications for the position they are hiring for. This will need to rewritten to address each individual employer that you will be sending a cover letter to.

The other part of this one page cover letter is where you want to tell the employer what they have to offer that you like. This is basically going to be a compliment to the prospective employer. Again this needs to be written unique for each prospective employer that you are sending a cover letter to. If you do not know exactly what the company has to offer as an employer then take the time to learn more about the company and then write your cover letter. If you can not put together a good section on what they have to offer that you like, then this will show to the prospective employer. They will view this in a way that will make them think you should not be working there. So take your time and keep it brief but honest.

The last part of your cover letter should be assertive. This is where you are going to ask them for an interview. Let them know a date in which you are going to do a follow up call to set up an interview time and ask them to look over your resume in the mean time.

Remember to keep your cover letter unique, brief and professional at all times. By avoiding the cover letter format frenzy and not sending out the same over used cover letter to your prospective employers, you will land more interviews. <bio>Mario Churchill is a freelance author and has written over 200 articles on various subjects.
If you've been job hunting for some time now, you probably have come to the realization that it's a jungle out there. It's a jungle with lots of job seekers vying for the exact positions that you are seeking. You have the experience, education and achievements that warrant an interview=85 but you're not getting any. What's going on?

Much to your chagrin, and no matter how much you protest, the culprit could be you =96 not the employer. Well, not you personally but how you've represented yourself. Did you throw your cover letter together thoughtlessly, change the company and title and call it a day? I was afraid of that. Each customer has its own requirements. Think of your resume package as a four-course meal.

1) Give them exactly what they want

Being a hiring manager is not an easy job. They have to sift through many resume packages from job seekers who don't meet the specified requirements and have no skills they need to fill the open position. It's a frustrating job and it can get them a little on edge.

Knowing that, just give them what they want! Don't beat around the bush or wait until the interview (that you think is coming) to enlighten them about how perfect you are for the job; now is the time to do it.

2) Prove you're worth the price

With fancy restaurants, they have to demonstrate that they are actually worth a lot more than the burger joint down the road. When it comes to job seekers, you have to prove your worth to the company. That's when it pays (possibly literally) to provide achievements with qualifiers. Include dollar amounts, percentages anything that will signify how outstanding that accomplishment was and the impact it had on the company. Because, as we all know, it's all about the bottom line.

3) Don't make the employer work

Employers don't have time to hunt for your qualifications or contact information or even what position you are applying for within their company. Make it easy for them. Point out the qualifications you have that match =96 or surpass =96 their expectations. Be specific. Make your contact information obvious but not obtrusive. Include the exact position for which you applying. If you are indeed qualified then by doing all this, you're making it very difficult not to call you in for an interview.

4) They're not the same as the employer down the road

Demonstrate your knowledge of the company. Show that you care and actually did your homework. By providing a couple of little references to current (or past) events within the company, you'll be proving to them your desire to work for them. It's relatively easy to sneak these in on your cover letter without seeming too obvious. For example, explain how your background and expertise would fit perfectly with the new CEO's vision.

Remember, when it comes to your resume package, you really do only have one chance to make a good impression. Judgment on whether you're a good or bad fit for a position happens so quickly that if you don't have everything exactly how they want it, you'll be waiting a very long time for that phone call. <bio>A leading expert in the employment search industry, Heather Eagar is passionate about providing working professionals with current, reliable and effective job search tools and information.
It's certainly not difficult to understand why social media and social networking websites have exploded in popularity in recent years. They capitalize on the intrinsic human need to interact with and gain feedback from other people. Blogs, message boards and other online communities allow us to share ideas with people all over the world in real time and offer almost all the dynamics of human interaction. Millions of people have created profiles on social networking sites and uploaded images and film clips on social media sites. As more people gain broadband access to the internet, this trend is expected to continue with no end in sight. How do these sites create opportunities for people to find work? Here are but a few ways they accomplish this:

•Connections, Connections, Connections -- Whether you're looking for an entry-level job right out of college or a position in top management, the importance of having a connection to help you get noticed (and get an interview) cannot be overstated. Many people belong to several online networking communities, and making it known that you're looking for a new job allows you to tap into your extended network as well as the networks of others.

•Niche-Oriented Job Sites and Communities -- More and more job and message boards are appearing online that cater to a very narrow range of interests which enables job seekers to bypass huge, sprawling sites such as http://Monster.com where their résumés might be overlooked. For example, if you have very specialized skills like underwater welding or forensic accounting, chances are very good that there are job boards online where you can get noticed that cater to these fields.

•Recruiters and Web-Savvy HR Directors Use Them Too! -- Here's a very telling statistic on the relevance of social networking for job seekers: According to a 2006 study conducted by the Society for Human Resource Management, recruiters use social networking sites 23 percent more than they did in 2006 to verify resumes, screen applicants and fill vacancies.

•Reputation Management -- Social media sites can be a boon or a bane. Since recruiters and HR directors are surfing social networking sites to gather information on prospective hires, job seekers need to be extra wary of unflattering images and information on their pages that could affect their chances of getting hired. Pictures of them engaging in illegal activity or posts they have made that denigrate former employers could come back to haunt them.

The Internet has significantly changed how people look for work and how prospective employers find qualified talent. Harnessing the power of social networking sites has become almost imperative for job hunters, but they need to be careful about how they might be perceived. Just like the community where you live, your connections will play a huge part in the speed and ease with which you can find a new position. However, just like an interview, you'll need to take extra care what kind of image you're projecting online.<bio>Jeff Tomlin has been an expert in producing sample resumes and cover letters that actually work for many years.
If you've been looking for a job for any length of time, you'll notice there are many out there beyond your level of expertise. Why is that? Is it because of your education? Your lack of experience? If you want to move ahead in your career, sometimes you need to make yourself more marketable. How exactly can you do that?

Further Your Education

Many job postings today 'require' degrees. If you're in the market for one of these positions and you don't currently hold a degree, then you need to seriously consider exploring obtaining one. Start gathering information about online distance programs, if that would suit your lifestyle better. This is true for undergraduate and graduate degrees.

If you don't feel that a formal education is what you need, look into other specific training programs that are suitable for your field. Look through job postings and take notes on the areas where you can improve and research ways on how to do just that.

Take Advantage of Your Situation

If you're currently employed, you can use your position to better yourself as well. Take on new tasks that will allow you to gain that experience you're lacking. Head up a project and manage it and the people a part of it to get some managerial experience.

It can be difficult to muster up enthusiasm to try new things at a job that you dislike. If that's you, you need to change your frame of mind. Instead of dreading every day, look at it as an opportunity to train yourself for a new, and better, job.

It's imperative that you don't sulk in your misery. Potential employers can spot a desperate job seeker a mile away. Even if you are desperate to get out of your current situation, take advantage of the in-house training they may provide. Can you take outside classes to hone up on your computer skills? If there is a weakness in your resume, take this time to make it a positive instead.

Looking for a job is a stressful situation. However, if you can make yourself more attractive in a potential employer's eyes, then you need to do it. There are lots of other job seekers out there just waiting to take your dream job. Strive to make yourself easily employable and then the difficult part will be deciding which job offer to accept. <bio>Heather Eagar is a former professional resume writer who is now dedicated to providing job seekers with resources and products that promote job search success from beginning to end.
People are very receptive about the employment services offered at career employment centers across the country. Job seekers are able to receive job listings that are only minutes old and will often savor the moment when they take advantage of the employment opportunity by submitting a resume for the position with a single click on the computer mouse.

The process for applying to recent job openings is automated at career employment centers and many job seekers have a reply from the prospective employer in the email inbox before it is checked at the end of the day. This request for an interview could include the times the employer has open for interviews and interesting tidbits of information about the position such as what the minimum qualifications are. These career employment notifications can be stored for later reference.

Job seekers enjoy the simplicity of searching for a job through the career employment centers. Enrolling in these programs is usually free of charge because the employer will pay the hiring fees when the position is filled. The job seeker can fill out an employment profile online and know that the personal information will be used in strictest confidence for many job vacancies in the employment center's databases over a period.

A job seeker can upload a resume to the career employment center at any time and edit the information when changes occur. One employer will see this up-to-date information when the career employment centers submit the job application or the career employment centers have the option of submitting the resume to hundreds of others employers if the minimum hiring qualifications for each vacancies is met. A job applicant could receive hundreds of replies in one day and start on a lucrative career by the end of the week.

The applicant is able to set preferences for email notifications about the positions that are open and can choose to respond personally, as each job opening is announced on the career employment center website. The job applicant might spend many hours online scanning the job listing directories and applying for the positions that are of interest. Some of those job listings will be in the town where they live and others career positions might be on the other side of the world.

A job applicant will have considerable success while using career employment centers as a resource for finding employment. The career employment centers are well connected in the business world and the exposure that job applicants get to these business contacts will have positive results for many applicants in a short time. The applicant can apply for positions based on a technical specialty or use the career employment centers search features and find vacancies that meet a certain salary range.

Many applicants will keep the email addresses for all companies that they applied to that responded back to them. They will use these positive business contacts for future job vacancies and be ahead of the crowd that will also be applying. Their applications will be seen first because the employment information will already be in the databases. The applicant can ask for email notifications of any positions that come open and make sure that the resume information on file is always current. <bio>James Brown writes about http://www.digitaldiscountcodes.com </bio>
