Edgerrin James was born on August 1, 1978 in Immokalee, Florida. At 6 foot tall and 215 pounds James is known to be one of the most punishing runners in the NFL. And to go along with this size, James also has a high level of speed and strength. When you combine all of this with his knowledge of the game it is easy to see why he has become one of the best of the best. And it is safe to say that his career is only getting started.

After a successful high school career James decided to take his game to the University of Miami. Despite scholarship offers from many schools he felt that he would do best staying in state. And this ended up being a great decision because by the time that he left school he had established himself as one of the top runners in its history. Although most of his records have been broken, there was a time when he was at the top of the list for many running back statistical categories at the school.

In the 1999 NFL Draft James was selected with the fourth overall pick by the Indianapolis Colts. Soon after the draft he signed a seven year contract worth approximately $49 million. This was one of the largest deals in the entire draft class, and it did not take long for him to start earning his money. In his first season he was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year by the AP. In fact, he won the NFL rushing title in both of his first two seasons.

After a successful career with the Colts, James decided to take his game across the country to play for the Arizona Cardinals. His first season with the Cardinals was 2006, and thanks to a poor offensive line he had one of the worst years of his career.

Edgerrin James will surely have his game back on track sooner rather than later. <bio>Bob writes for http://www.MVPProShop.com and http://www.2GoAllOut.com.
Peggy had been married to James for 14 years when she first consulted with me for help with her relationship and her anxiety.

"I can't stand being in this marriage anymore. We have two wonderful children and I don't want to break up this family, but I'm miserable and anxious much of the time. I feel like I'm always walking on eggshells and I can't be myself."

"What are you afraid would happen if you are yourself?" I asked.

"I know it sounds crazy because a part of me wants out of this marriage, but I'm afraid that James would leave and I would be alone the rest of my life. I think that if I take care of myself and do what makes me happy, instead of taking care of his feelings and needs, he will leave. I'm afraid to find out that he really doesn't love me - that the only reason he is with me is because of how I take care of him. If I stopped letting him dump his anxiety onto me and I stopped having sex when I don't feel turned on to him, he will leave. He gets furious at me when I say no to sex. I'm afraid to find out that he really doesn't care about my happiness at all - that he just wants me to take care of him."

"Peggy, it sounds like you are telling yourself two things that are making you feel miserable and anxious. One is that if you don't take responsibility for James' feelings, he will leave you, and the other is that you will not be okay if he leaves you.

"Your misery and anxiety are your inner guidance system, letting you know that what you are telling yourself is not helpful to you. It is not in alignment with your highest good, and, quite possibly, it is not even true. So let's start with your belief that you will not be okay of James leaves. Are you sure this is true?"

"Actually, I know it isn't true. I love being alone, and financially there is enough money that I would be okay. And I know that James loves our children and would never abandon them."

"So if you tell yourself that you will be fine if James leaves, then how do you feel?"

"That feels good! I know that is the truth!"

"Okay, then if that is the truth, what do you have to lose by being yourself?"

"I'm scared to death to find out that James doesn't really love me. I guess it's not about being alone after all, but about not being loved."

"Peggy, please go inside and ask your Inner Child if she feels loved by you when you give yourself up to please James and you do not let her be herself."

"No, she doesn't feel loved at all! She hates it when I don't take care of her and take care of him instead."

"So, do you think it is possible that even if you found out that James doesn't love you, that loving yourself would make things okay for you?"

"Yes!"

Peggy started to take care of herself around James - not letting him dump his anxiety onto her and making love only when she felt like it. At first James was angry, but when he discovered that his anger didn't get him anywhere, he started to take better care of himself. Instead of discovering that she had to give herself up to be loved by James, Peggy discovered that loving herself worked wonders in their marriage! <bio>Margaret Paul, Ph.D., best-selling author of eight books, including "Do I Have To Give Up Me To Be Loved By You" and co-creator of the powerful Inner Bonding healing process.
After the miraculous conception of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph had other children as well. The gospels report that Jesus had at least four brothers and some sisters: "Isn't this the carpenter's son? Isn't his mother's name Mary, and aren't his brothers James, Joseph, Simon and Judas? Aren't all his sisters with us?" (Matthew 13:55, also Mark 6:3). And the gospels also record, that while Jesus was alive, his brothers did not believe in Him: "For even his own brothers did not believe in him" (John 7:5). The Scriptures do not sugarcoat this. The lack of belief by James and the other brothers is corroborated by the absolute silence about them in the gospels. None of the accounts of Jesus' ministry mentions them in any role.

However, after the resurrection, in the earliest years of Christianity, James, the brother of Jesus, became a significant player in the movement. In Galatians 1:19, Paul explicitly identified him as one of the only two individuals he met with during his 37 AD trip to Jerusalem: "I saw none of the other apostles=97only James, the Lord's brother." So, there cannot be any doubt that James, Jesus' brother, had within four years of the resurrection not only converted to Christianity; he had become a recognized leader in the early church.

Later on Paul also gives an important clue as to why James became a Christian. In the early resurrection creed in 1 Corinthians 15:3-8, Paul writes that Jesus also appeared to James: "Then he appeared to James"(1 Corinthians 15:7). One can argue which James this is (lack of surnames in Bible times can occasionally be quite confusing). However, the context makes it clear, that this is not James the son of Zebedee (the brother of John) or the other apostle James, James the son of Alphaeus (as they are mentioned as part of the apostle group before). Therefore this must be James, the Lord's brother.

Subsequently, in Acts 12:17 and 15:13 this same James is recognized after the resurrection as a leader of the church in Jerusalem. And he also wrote the New Testament book by that name.

An important, non-Biblical confirmation comes to us from Josephus: "Ananus=85assembled the Sanhedrin of judges, and brought before them the brother of Jesus, who was called Christ, whose name was James, and some others, =85, he delivered them to be stoned." This passage does not only confirm that James was the brother of Jesus, it also mentions that he was martyred for his faith by stoning (around 57 AD).

All in all, it is a well-founded conclusion that James, the brother of Jesus =96 like Paul =96 made a remarkable conversion from a non-believer during the lifetime of Jesus to a leader in the earliest years of the Christian movement and was ultimately stoned for his faith. Although the personal appearance of the risen Jesus to His brother James is reported only once in the New Testament, this reported encounter is part of the powerful early resurrection creed dated back to only a few years after the resurrection. And one can wonder: What could have ever happened to James that could have converted him to a believer apart from the appearance of the resurrected Christ? James knew Jesus while He was alive and certainly knew about His teachings and even Jesus' miracles. None of this, however, convinced him, so what could the apostles have said to convince this man?

Logically, only a personal encounter with the resurrected Jesus, as mentioned by Paul, would explain his 180-degree change in beliefs and actions. Therefore James' conversion is another confirmation of the historical reliability of the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. <bio>Rob VandeWeghe is a skeptic turned Christian by studying the foundations for Christianity.
When it comes to marketing in basketball, Michael Jordan is the best player to do it. However, he may soon move over. LeBron James is not after millions, but billions. He recognizes the explosive growth potential in China and he wants in on the action. China is one of the best growing markets in the world. The NBA has been doing their part to infiltrate the Chinese culture with more and more basketball--NBA style.

Nike has paid millions to get their advertising in Asia markets. They are paying millions more to develop the culture that warrants the buying of Nike apparel. Recently in Sapparo, Japan Nike set up shop to draw in basketball fans. The event coincided with the basketball World Championships. The event featured none other than poster boy Lebron James.

Journalists were ushered in to meet Lebron James. This was done in groups. First the Chinese journalists got their face time with King James then the Japanese journalists had their turn. This entire scene has lit up the eyes of King James, who is now set on becoming the first athlete billionaire. To make it, he's going to have to focus a good majority of attention to Asia.

The billion dollar per year industry is exploding in Asia. Retailers are sprouting up all over China. What does King James think about all this? In a recent interview, he said, "I say all the time, and I tell my friends and teammates, that you have to go global in basketball and business." Whether it's just pie in the sky talk or not, LeBron James seems very intent on trying to accomplish this goal.

LeBron James has a new company, LRMR Marketing. Asia, specifically China and Japan, are big targets for the company. They are working hard to increase LeBron's exposure before next year's Olympics in Beijing. Now you know why LeBron was so eager to join the Olympic basketball team. It was good for his business. What about Patriotism?

When asked about why he joined the team, Lebron James said, "It is only going to help my business. Once I knew the world games were going to be in Japan, I knew I was going to be on board." Rebook-Adidas is not sitting back and watching. They have their main weapon for Asia--Yao Ming. The playing field is just starting to heat up. There's even reports of LeBron James taking lessons to learn some Mandarin Chinese. <bio>Author's links: http://www.advantagesportsbetting.com http://www.sportsbettingbasketball.com http://www.sportsbettingbasketball.com/category/basketball-betting/ </bio>

Movie tourism has been growing in popularity for decades and the USA is a prime destination as so many global cinematic blockbusters are made there. Movies have the power to bring characters from the past alive again in glorious Technicolor and this rekindles interest in the places and people.

Following the release of the `Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford', starring Brad Pitt, interest in the iconic outlaw has reached a new high. If you have a yen to learn more about Jesse James, after seeing the movie, and to sort out some of the fact from the fiction that has grown around his life and times, visit Missouri and follow in the footsteps of this infamous gunslinger, who later died by the hand of an associate. Most sites are located within 50 miles of Kansas City.

Not withstanding that the movie was shot in Alberta, Canada, James hailed from Kearney, Missouri. His notoriety began in February 1866, when he and his gang, which included his brother Frank, stole $60,000 from a bank in the town of Liberty.

Today the same building houses the Jesse James Bank Museum =96 here you can see period furnishings, look into the original bank vault, and read an account of that fateful day's action. For 15 years the James gang traveled throughout the U.S. robbing trains and banks.

At the Jesse James Farm and Museum, in Kearney, you can visit his old home. An audio-visual presentation recaps the exploits of Jesse James and his gang of outlaws, and there is a large collection James family artifacts on display, including Jesse's boots and spurs. His original burial place is also at the farm. Near the farmhouse is the childhood swimming hole where Jesse and brother Frank spent many a hot day. Mount Olivet Cemetery, also in Kearney, is James' final resting place, after his remains were moved there in 1902, to lie beside those of his wife Zerelda.

Winston's Historic Depot Museum, once home to the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad Depot, is where the Jessie James gang's Great Train Robbery took place in 1881. The displays relate railroad and local history, as well as James gang lore.

Finally, at Independence, Missouri is the two-story Jail, Marshal's Home And Museum, dating from 1859. Jesse James' brother, Frank, spent time here, and in fact was acquitted by a sympathetic jury when tried for bank and train robbery.

The Patee House Museum in St. Joseph, was once known as World's Hotel, a luxury hotel that served travellers as the railroad pushed westward to St. Joseph and the starting point of the Pony Express. Today, the extensive museum has an 1854 Buffalo Salon, and exhibits of western art, antique toys, and other western memorabilia.

You should also visit the nearby Jesse James Museum Home, where the outlaw was shot and killed by Robert Ford in 1882. Interesting displays include mementos from Jesse's grave when he was exhumed in 1995, and a bullet hole in the wall reputed to be from an unsuccessful attempt on his life. <bio>Rod Ritchie, a travel writer and editor, writes for many publishers including AA Publishing and Fodors.
Find out about the link between James Bond and his favorite casino game, the French baccarat or Chemin de Fer.

The casino game, baccarat, is one of James Bond's most recognized attributes along with the gadgets and the andquot;shaken but not stirredandquot; Martini. The charismatic secret agent has been described playing baccarat, or, to be more accurate, the French version of the game called Chemin de Fer, in many of Ian Fleming's books and their adaptions to the big screen.

The first novel in the James Bond series, Casino Royale, centers around a baccarat game that takes place between the agent 007 and the SMERSH operative, Le Chiffre, in a luxurious casino in France. Here is how Ian Fleming describes James Bond's attitude towards gambling in the Casino Royale novel from 1953: Bond has always been a gambler. He loved the dry riffle of the cards and the constant unemphatic drama of the quiet figures round the green tables. He liked the solid, studied comfort of card rooms and casinos, the well padded arms of the chairs, the glass of champagne or whiskey at the elbow, the quiet unhurried attention of good servants. He was amused by the impartiality of the roulette ball and of the playing cards and their eternal bias.

In reality, baccarat is less sophisticated than it is described in James Bond novels and films. The description of the posh atmosphere, the well padded arms of the chairs and the glass of champagne is quite authentic actually. In luxurious land based casinos, you will not meet casual dressed people around the green baccarat tables.

Baccarat has always been popular among the high society. In the 15th Century, when it first arrived from Italy to France, it was still known by the name of baccara, which is the Italian word for zero. Since then the game changed its name, new rules were made up and this gave birth to several variations: European baccarat played in UK casinos, the slightly different American baccarat played in Las Vegas casinos and Chemin de Fer, also known as French baccarat or the James Bond game.

The object of baccarat is pretty simple: two hands are dealt and the player bets on one of the hands, either the player or the banker hand, which will gain the highest score. While in American casinos, baccarat takes place against the house, in Chemin de Fer players compete against each other where one player acts as the player and the other as the banker.

In the plot of Casino Royale, the British secret agent and baccarat expert James Bond is hired to beat the SMERSH agent, Monsieur Le Chiffre, at Chemin de Fer. The purpose of the game is to increase Le Chiffre's gambling debts so that the SMERSH would kill him themselves. The baccarat game lasts for hours and ends with James Bond winning. Eventually, Le Chiffre is assassinated by SMERSH, but not before he captures and tortures Bond with the help of Bonds beautiful double agent Vesper Lynd, who had previoulsy served as Bonds assistant.

The book, Casino Royale, has been adapted for cinema twice in addition to once on TV. The latest one will be released on November 17, 2006 and it is currently one of the most anticipated movies. It will be the 21st official James Bond movie and the first with Daniel Craig as James Bond. In the 2006 version of Casino Royale, Bond and Le Chiffre will be playing Texas Holdem against each other. Following the unification of Newcastle East End Football Club and Newcastle West End Football Club, the newly formed Newcastle United first played on the pitch in 1892.

In 1898, Newcastle United were promoted to the First Division and decided to make an effort to develop their stadium. The pitch was in a terrible state, so it was leveled and relayed and a stand was also built, which brought the capacity up to 30,000. Just five years later, the team were still going strong and they decided to expand their home further. A large new stand was erected, along with some terraces that doubled the stadium's capacity. The stadium even gained a swimming pool for the players and when the improvements were unveiled in 1905, the stadium was classed as the best of the country.

The oldest football stadium in the North East, football has been played on the pitch at St James' Park since 1880. Following the unification of Newcastle East End Football Club and Newcastle West End Football Club, the newly formed Newcastle United first played on the pitch in 1892.

St James' Park is bounded by Leazes Park, which houses the Georgian Leazes Terrace. This beautiful and historic terrace once boasted some of the most exclusive homes in Tyneside. However, being situated within such close proximity to these historic residences would later cause St James' Park some major planning difficulties. Since 1905, the team has struggled to action any major improvements to their stadium for this reason. Numerous plans have been drawn up over the years, although most have been abandoned due to pressure from protest groups and disapproval from the local council. Despite this, the club managed to expand their capacity in the 1990s and 2000s by simply adding extra tiers to existing stands. In 2005, the stadium also gained a new bar, Shearers, which was named in honor of the team's legendary Alan Shearer , who spent a decade playing for the club.

The oldest football stadium in the North East, football has been played on the pitch at St James' Park since 1880. As a result, the stadium hosted three matches in Euro 1996 and is also set to host some football matches during the 2012 London Olympics.

St James' Park has also held a number of gigs and concerts from a variety of acts, including Rod Stewart, the Rolling Stones, Queen, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen. <bio>Author: Beverley Bukowski Website: http://www.escortnewcastlekirsten.co.uk Beverley Bukowski is a former model from Newcastle, UK.
With the popularity of Internet shopping, classic toys that were hard to find, have now started to find a whole new audience. These classics, which sold very well after they were introduced, never seem to go out of style and can still bring a smile to any child's face.

Let's step into the past and take a look into the history of one of these classic toys.

In 1943, a Naval engineer accidentally knocked some springs off of a shelf while he was working on a meter designed to monitor horsepower on battleships. He marveled at the way they "walked" instead of falling and the odd movement of these springs gave Richard James an idea and an instant toy was born. That toy: The Slinky.

Richard James then spent the next two years testing and refining the best steel gauge and coil to utilize for his new toy. His wife, Betty appropriately found the perfect name for this new toy- a Slinky; which is the Swedish word meaning traespiral or sleek.

The couple borrowed five hundred dollars and James designed a machine to coil eighty feet of wire into a two-inch spiral and manufacture their new toy. Sales were slow at first, but soared after the Slinky was demonstrated at Gimbel's Department Store in Philadelphia for the Christmas season in 1945. The first 400 sold within the ninety-minute demonstration and a new fad had begun.

Around 1960, Richard James suffered what some called a mid-life crisis and left his wife, their six children and joined a Bolivian religious cult. He also deserted the Slinky toy he worked so hard to produce and left the company in debt and ruin. Betty James took over as CEO of James Industries and introduced other toys for the "Slinky line-up" including: Slinky pets, crazy eyes Slinky (glasses with Slinky-extended fake eyeballs), neon Slinky, and also replaced the original black-blue Swedish steel with American steel. Additionally she moved the company headquarters from Philadelphia to Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania and began an aggressive advertising campaign, complete with the now famous Slinky jingle:

"What walks down stairs, alone in pairs, And makes a Slinkity sound? A spring, a spring, a marvelous thing, Everyone knows it's Slinky... It's Slinky, it's Slinky, for fun it's a wonderful toy It's Slinky, it's Slinky, it's fun for a girl or a boy"

However, the Slinky is not just an entertaining toy for children. It is used in schools in physics classes to demonstrate wave properties, forces, and energy states. The Slinky still continues to sell (250 million have been sold to date) and are still manufactured in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania using the original equipment designed by Richard James. <bio>Robert Benson operates http://www.ezshoppinghere.com a website devoted to helping shoppers find unique gift ideas in unique places with over 400 stores to choose from.
It's already the biggest question being asked in NBA circles and it's still two years away. For what team will LeBron James be playing in the 2010-2011 NBA season? James' current deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers includes a clause in which the superstar can opt out after the 2009-2010 season and become an unrestricted free agent, an option that he'll likely pursue for financial reasons if nothing else. At this point, it appears that there will be three potential suitors in the NBA, with a wildcard option as well. Let's examine each potential destination for the King.

There is a good chance that when it's all said and done, James will remain with the Cavaliers. His loyalties lie in Cleveland, as he was born and raised in nearby Akron, OH. The major knock on the Cavs has been the front office's inability to build a solid team around James. The King has had to put the team on his back in a way that perhaps no other superstar has faced. This summer's addition of Mo Williams could go a long way in keeping the King in Cleveland should the two players mesh on the court. Williams is a good shooter, something that complements James' game very well, but he's also the point guard the Cavs have been desperately lacking since James' was drafted in 2003. Williams can also create his own shot and be the guy that can play the focal point of the offense when James hits the bench for a breather.

The Nets are a team that could swoop in and steal the King from the Cavs; at least that's how the maligned fans in Cleveland would view it. James' friendship with hip-hop mogul and Nets part-owner Sean Carter (a.k.a. Jay-Z) has been well documented. Should the Nets complete their move to Brooklyn by the time the summer of 2010 rolls around, there's a good chance LeBron would genuinely consider playing for them. The young talent on the team needs to develop, though. If guys like Devin Harris and other youngsters can raise their game enough to convince James that there is a contender waiting for him, he could be the face of the first Brooklyn basketball franchise.

Just across the Brooklyn Bridge is another borough of New York, one with a little more glitz and a little more glamour, Manhattan. Waiting in that part of New York City will be the New York Knicks and Madison Square Garden, the Mecca of basketball. The Knicks have made it clear that they're going to try to clear enough cap space to lure the King to the Garden in 2010. Whether they can do it, or if they'll have enough talent to attract the King, remains to be seen. LeBron has expressed his desire to be the first billionaire athlete, and what bigger marketing stage is there than New York City?

The only other option I can see is for LeBron to play in Europe. The dollar amount would have to be exorbitant, but I'm not ruling it out completely. LeBron has expressed the desire to be a global icon, and what better way to become one than to span the globe throughout his playing career? Still, I don't see it happening as LeBron is such a student of the NBA and its greats of the past. I don't think he'd leave the greatest basketball league in the world simply for more coin.

Wherever he goes in 2010, there's sure to be frenzy of media attention and rabid fans, as well as a huge spike in demand for NBA tickets.

http://www.stubhub.com/nba-tickets/ is your best source for NBA tickets.<bio>StubHub has sponsored this article, which was written by Morgan C.
I had the feeling that something was not quite right between my husband James and I. We had been together for nearly nine years and something had shifted in our relationship. It started as a niggly feeling then grew. He spent more time out of the house than in it and when he was there he would be busy reading the newspaper. Or watching the television. Or listening to the radio. I might as well not have been there. He seemed to have grown tired of me. They do say a woman `knows' intuitively when something is wrong and this was more than a hunch, I was almost certain. I thought he was having an affair and even asked him outright but he laughed and told me not to be ridiculous. If he was seeing someone else, he was being very careful about it. I checked his pockets, I checked his collars for lipstick and I checked his phone for messages. I found nothing. I needed definite proof and there was only one way I could get it. I installed spy phone software on James's phone and waited for the inevitable. Sometimes it is better to know. I didn't feel guilty about doing this and if I was right, surely he had more to feel guilty about anyway.

The software was quick and easy to install and James would have no idea that I was listening in, so if my hunch had been wrong he would never even know that I had checked. But in my heart of hearts I knew I was right. With the software, you can dial the target phone from anywhere and listen to what is going on without anyone knowing what you were doing. I had to dial a few times before I got any more than background noise but when I dialed in at 7.30pm, I heard the conversation I had dreaded. James was telling some woman how much he loved her and she was telling him the same. I didn't recognize her voice but she sounded young. Part of me didn't want to believe what I had heard but at last I had my proof.

I packed James's bags before he even got home and threw them at him with a strength I did not know I possessed. He didn't even ask how I knew and seemed to be grateful that I was giving him a way out. I wonder if he ever would have been man enough to tell me about his affair. I wondered whether she was his first affair. But it doesn't matter now.

Since then I have been living here happily by myself and you know what? I don't miss the man at all. Had it not been for that spy phone I could still be with the lying, cheating scumbag. Now it's just me and my cat and I am happier than I have been in a very long time. <bio>Mary Potter is an Agony Aunt for a small regional womens magazine.
I have shown in this series of articles that there are several pieces of evidence that the Persian Empire did not last the 200 years proposed by historians but only 21 years as described in the Old Testament. This is an idea I presented in detail in my book, The Fourth Day: Why the Bible is Historically Accurate. My article, "Old Testament History Revised-Jeremiah's Eclipse" provides astronomical evidence from the Bible for this idea and my article, "Old Testament History Revised-The 390 Days of Ezekiel" provides evidence from a famous prophecy from the biblical book of Ezekiel for this idea. This article provides archaeological support for a "short" Persian Empire based on information described in Peter James' book, Centuries of Darkness.

Archaeological Findings of the Babylonian and Persian Empires

Recall that earlier in this book I proposed that the Babylonian Empire's reign over Judah occurred about 180 years later than the Conventional Biblical Chronology dating. The Conventional Biblical Chronology dates the Babylonian captivity of Judah as 585 B.C. while the Fourth Day Biblical Chronology places it in 401 B.C. If the Fourth Day Chronology is accurate shouldn't it be reflected in the archeology? What about Judah's migration from Persia in accordance of the edict by Cyrus II to rebuild the Temple in Jerusalem? According to the Conventional Biblical Chronology this would have occurred in 539 B.C. however the Fourth Day Biblical Chronology dates this event in 350 B.C. Let's allow Peter James' book settle the matter. According to the Biblical record during the reign of King Cyrus the Persian it was a very active time in Israel. Those that acquired wealth in the Babylonian and Persian reigns of Babylon returned home. The land was resettled, the Temple rebuilt and walls of Jerusalem were rebuilt. Despite all this activity Peter James records that there were few findings for the 539-332 BC timeframe in the region. (Centuries of Darkness, page 170)

If the Fourth Day Biblical Chronology is the correct model this lack of archaeological findings is easily explained. Persia was only present from 352 B.C. to 331 B.C. so there should only be about either 21 years of artifacts present. If you believe the Conventional Chronology there would have been 207 years (539-332 B.C.) to indicate the presence of the Persians. The Persians were just not there for much of the period in question. Peter James states that information is lacking on many levels. A Persian strata is difficult to see and few architectural remains are present. Those strata that are present are of the timeframe after 450 BC (there is almost no evidence of finds prior to this period). According to Peter James other archaeologists have lamented the fact that to be such a relative recent timeframe in history there is surprisingly few finds for this period. (page 170, Centuries of Darkness). All these observations just enforce the observation that the Persian Empire was a short-lived event in the history of Judah. Peter James doesn't have much better news about the Jewish Exile to Babylon. James paints a bleak picture for archaeological findings in the timeframe 587-539 BC that represents the Babylonian Conquest. More than one hundred years of Biblical history is barely evident in archaeological evidence. Peter James poses the question: does the time period from 587-450 BC in Palestine represent some kind of dark period in Israelite and Babylonian history? (Centuries of Darkness, pages 170-171). Indeed not. Since, according to Fourth Day Biblical Chronology, the Babylonians and the Persians did not show up in the lives of Judah until after 450 B.C. there is certainly no reason to believe in a 'Dark Age' in Palestine. The evidence speaks for itself, the Babylonians and the Persians were just not there from 587 B.C. to 450 B.C. They were not there because the Persian Empire only lasted twenty one years, not the more than 200 years that the conventional chronology model claims. <bio>My name is Darren Thompson and I am a chemical engineer that has worked in the rocket propulsion industry for over 15 years.
Choosing the right method to market your business may be a hard decision at first... There are many methods for you to consider, however you may only have a limited budget, as most of us do. You'll soon find out that marketing one product or service is a pretty expensive endeavor, or it may force you to use advertising techniques that are not exactly complementary to your business goals.

Vincent James, author of the 12 Month Millionaire created practically a blueprint that will assist anyone who wants to get started in the direct marketing business get off to an amazing start. I'm going to go over some generalities. If you seek more information on James's work, do a search for him on Google and you will fine plenty of resources on him.

It does not matter which industry we're talking about here... there is one common characteristics with all companies and it is that we all become more sophisticated and price sensitive. So are our clients!

The tendency generally amongst businesses is to receive the most quality for the very best price. Could amazing your exhibitors and attendees or your business actually be something you could easily do? Of course, but you have to know how to get there, via a communication medium that's two way. In order to find the client at the right time, in the right spot, a lot of companies are using a method of direct marketing also known as one on one sales. It's another approach.

The one on one sales approach can be done over the phone (telemarketing), through emails and also in person (face to face) by providing the chance for the prospective client to get a personal feel for the product that you are offering.

Imagine this for a moment... that you're walking into the grocery store, then all of the sudden a beautiful woman approaches you and tells you that "you must try this now!" something about an amazing new product... it could be bothersome but research has proved that is really does work. Many of the clients prefer to just try a product before they decide to purchase it. The reason the risk is reduced is to take away the risk by purchasing something they did not know much about. It's much easier when selling to younger people.

Finding the right person who can attract more clients and potential buyers in order to try, taste and feel your products is, in fact, the key in this particular case. What counts here is how well trained are the promoters. Well-trained promoters collect "hot leads", smile and show anywhere how good your company and services are.

Each task should be targeted to the needs of the campaign. You must first find out: 1. Are you trying to create awareness for your product or service? 2. Are you looking for people to try out your products? 3. Are you looking to collect leads? 4. Are you looking to provide information?

All tasks require a different and unique approach and different strategy. After you establish your specific needs it will be much more simple to define the outline of those that are going to promote and samplers that you'll need for the campaign. Direct marketing and direct response advertising can be an incredible way to expose you or your brand very fast. It's also not extremely expensive in terms of price per benefits, now all that's left if for you to give it a shot. <bio>James Calvin is an avid studier of direct mail and direct response techniques.
Seymour-James the marketing property specialist for South West France is delighted to promote the sale of an historic chateau in the Dordogne - not far from Bordeaux and Bergerac.

Beautiful Chateau de Maravau sits on an old Gallo-Roman site of 3 acres, close to Ste Foy La Grande and it is from here that the Knights Templar constructed a 'Lookout Tower' in the late 12th Century. This tower was used for early warning of impending attacks and still stands magnificently today as part of the chateau. Within the grounds of the chateau, stands another house, 'la Maison des Chevaliers' also linked to the Templars. The Knights lived here and would have received pilgrims and fellow Knights on their way to the Holy Land.

Of note, la Maison Des Chevaliers has an unusual vaulted cellar which is typical of Templar construction. At one time an underground passageway also connected the local churchyard to this vaulted cellar. The cellar was almost certainly used later during the 'Hundred Years War' between the English and French in the 14/15th Century and throughout the Wars of Religion during the 16th Century by those fleeing imprisonment or worse.

A legend has been passed down locally concerning the tunnel as it is supposed to have branched off at one time near the churchyard. The story goes that a Templar treasure is buried somewhere along the tunnel or perhaps valuable chattels of a former owner. It is impossible to say whether a treasure indeed exists or ever existed but the chateau's owner believes it is worthy of further investigation, given the strength of local feeling - another mystery in South West France.

Since these early times, the chateau has grown sympathetically into a splendid abode, all kept excellent order, and with magnificent views of the surrounding countryside. It is a place with that rare feeling of mystery and history. <bio>David Seymour is Managing Director of Adept Marketing SARL, owners of - http://www.seymour-james.com/ </bio>

21 years old really isn't a barometer in today's modern America for business and wealth like it would be, say, 20 years ago. LeBron James, being the perfect example, cashed in 100 million dollars in endorsement deals before he even stepped onto NBA hardwood. But an ex-alcoholic who is jaded with public education and basically the laziest guy in the known universe, that being me, would not be worth as much in terms of value to, say, Nike, Adidas, and whoever else wants to throw millions of dollars at what the vast majority of people would consider a kid, like the 18 year old, at the time, LeBron James.

But this isn't about King James. It isn't even about me. It's about a lifestyle that enables me to approach King James' level of income. Not even playing with you. This lifestyle has made people one hundred thousand dollars. In one month. Millions of dollars a year. More than enough to not have to work in fast food to pay off student loans. More than enough to be totally and completely financially free, all without having to ever clock in, fill out online applications for less than ideal retail jobs (that being a generous description), and dealing with the wonderfully acidic "what have you done for me lately?" nature of the general corporate workplace. It's made me more than enough to move out of my family's home, focus on my musical and personal endeavors, and otherwise be completely free of the nine to five "involuntary" servitude of the traditional worker.

This lifestyle is the automated existence of the smart, successful online affiliate marketer.

And you have more than enough potential to become a member of this fraternity of like-minded individuals.

Imagine this: You're holding up a sign that says "Buy now" in the middle of a humongous, perpetually busy, and unsleeping city that just so happens to have a road that leads right to where you are with a never ending sea of people walking to you and past you to get where they need to go. Millions of people pass you by and thousands stop and give you $20. Now imagine that scene happening all day long every day, and instead of you standing there you have a device similar to an ATM machine. The people stop, swipe their card and you get paid instantly. That's what successful affiliate marketing is all about. The venue is humongous, that being the internet, perpetually busy, with millions of ways for people to find your marketed product, and it is unsleeping, with the global community online 24 hours a day.

You will sell products, provide means for others to sell those products, receive money for both selling said products, referring people to sell your products for you, and building membership of affiliate markets all over the world, among many other things all in one website. If you can believe it, the most insane, unbelievable part about it is that that entire process is done for you by a truly generous and wonderful human being, Stone Evans, whose sole pursuit is to help others like me and maybe you find a way to make it in today's chaotic world and the way it is done requires almost no attention on your part. The nitty gritty process is done for you all you have to do is tell people about it.

You don't have to be King James to be a successful financial commodity at a young age, or ANY age for that matter. All you need is the internet, the courage to try something that seems totally insane at first, and to sign up for a few affiliate pages and get a domain. That's under 50 dollars and less than an hour of your time folks. <bio>Visit my website at http://jacob1986.com and you'll be standing in that neverending human sea of financial opportunity before you know it and you'll learn exactly how great a life you will have. If you need some location details, look on the internet for some great information and some awesome pictures.
Sean Connery is one actor who has always managed to delivery good performance in any role. He has such natural charisma. Any character seems real just by his presence on the screen. He has managed to pull off several roles with remarkable performances. No matter what kind of movie or how good the movie is, Connery always manages to bring something special.

A great example of this is his role as James Bond. It's not to say that in his portrayals of Bond there was not a lot of cheesy stuff happening. With names with like Pussy Galore and Odd Job what can you expect? Sean Connery makes James Bond a serious character. However when you watch others portray Bond the cheese oozes off the screen. The other actors can not pull off the cheese like Connery.

Much later in his career he was in Highlander. I do not think anyone really thought that movie was going to be as big as it was. Connery only had a minor role in the film, but that was enough to get a lot of people to see it. Highlander is a good science fiction movie. Connery's performance is just another notch on his belt.

A more recent film in which he gave another extraordinary performance is The Rock. The Rock is not one of cinema's classics and don't forget you also get Nicholas Cage. Again Sean Connery's presence on the screen adds realism to the situations. You can ignore the bad dialogue and premises and just enjoy his acting.

He is one of the only male actors in the history of Hollywood that has been able to be just as believable in action roles in his older age as he was in his younger age. A lot of actors have tried that and not have much success. <bio>Read more about http://www.youshouldtryit.com/sean_connery.html </bio>

A Caribbean Exclusive Resort on Antigua called St James Club just has to be a great place to take a vacation. The name itself sounds exclusive and infers luxury, and the reputation it has gathered over the last few years would probably support this feeling.

St James Club is very much in the top flight when you consider every Antigua All Inclusive resort, and it sits on a private 100 acre estate with super views and two white sand beaches.

Its situation is also enhanced by the fact that it is only five minutes away from English Harbour, Nelson's Dockyard, and Shirley Heights, and the historical attractions these names imply.

As befits the name St James's Club, there is a sociable club like atmosphere which draws guests back again and again, in this lush tropical playground, and there is glamour too, thanks to the numbers of visiting yachts.

For the active there are two white sand beaches, four swimming pools, which includes a family pool, and an adult only pool. There are a number of complimentary non motorised water sports including windsurfing and kayaking.

There are plenty of opportunities to play tennis with six tennis courts, four of which are floodlit, and for the fitness fanatic a fully equipped `Body Shop' gymnasium. Golf is available but it is forty minutes away. For those who wish to be active but less frantically so can join in adventure walks.

St James Club is really devoted to its guests having a great time, and this could mean you don't take exercise at all, but just relax with a good book, because you'll have just as good a time doing nothing as someone will who has to do it all, and try everything, because it's that sort of all inclusive resort.

The accommodation choices start at Club Rooms, with two double beds, and mostly a garden view, to premium Rooms overlooking the sea, to the newest Beachfront rooms which are beautifully laid out and equipped. Finally there are one bedroom Suites, and two bedroom Villas which even have a kitchen as they are located in the Club's Village area..

Food and eating should play a large part in any Antigua Luxury Resort does not disappoint. The St James Club is especially good in this department, and compares very favourably with other Antigua All Inclusive Resorts. There are four restaurants for evening dining, either in the gardens, on the hillside, or right down by the waters edge.

You can go from the international buffets, and the superb a la carte menus of the Rainbow Garden which is St James Club's main restaurant where you can have breakfast and lunch.

The Docksider is right on the edge of Mamora Bay, and is alfresco eating, only in the evenings, serving grilled favourites.

Piccolo Mondo is the hillside restaurant, open on selected evenings for dinner, where you will enjoy a fusion of Caribbean and Meditteranean Cuisine. If it is the more informal dining you require, then Coco's Restaurant overlooking the Atlantic will undoubtedly be your choice.

There are more than enough casual daytime bars, and evening cocktail bars for the more sophisticated drinks. Indeed there is food and drink to suit everyone's taste between the four restaurants and five bars.

For the family there is a Children's Club for ages 2-12, which is great for parents as it gives them the freedom to enjoy what is a really nice resort, and the St James Antigua is certainly worth researching in depth if you are really looking for a Caribbean Exclusive Resort.

For more information on Antigua Vacation Spots go to http://www.antigua-vacationspots.com/pages/Site-Map.html <bio>Gareth Jones administers and writes for http://www.antigua-vacationspots and is a contributor to http://www.worldwidevacationspots.
