In this article, I am going to go over the different between Facebook Ads and its predecessor Facebook Flyers. They are both great services that have really changed how people are advertising on the Internet. Let's look in depth the changes since flyers.

Facebook Ads, formally Facebook Fliers are getting a lot of attention around the Internet. Since Facebook started offering advertising solutions, it seems their way of providing value to the marketer has improved with every update. At first, they had a program called Facebook Fliers. The basic concept of Facebook Fliers was you paid for per thousand impressions. While this was a good concept, it didn't work as well as it way supposed to. The current program being used is called Facebook Ads, which has the option of paying per click or per impression. The targeting, pricing, and setup seemed to improve with Facebooks newest creation. The general consensus found with everyone I have spoke to is they are experiencing much better results using CPC versus CPM. If you think about it, if your visitor actually takes the time to read your ad, and then click it, they have to be interested.

Let's look at the difference between Flyers and Ads:

With Facebook Flyers, this is what the user would view, with no impressions. Facebook first offered these as a way for students to get the word out about clubs, jobs, and other campus activities. After Facebook opened up Fliers to any marketer they realized they were going to have to switch it over to "Facebook Ads." Notice on our 2nd image the ad says "Sponsored" at the bottom; this signifies that Facebook is being paid per click through the promoter.

Let's think, what is really better, Ads or Flyers? Would you as a marketer and promoter rather pay per thousand impressions or pay per qualified click you receive? Well, lets look at the pros and cons of paying per click vs per thousand impressions.

First, an impression is just that, an impression. What are the chances that someone looking at their messages, groups, and comments is going to glance over and look at your advertisement? Probably not that good, out of 1000 impressions you could probably expect a 0.5%-1% click-through-rate or about 7.5 clicks. Now, let's look at the other side of things. With Ads, you are only charged per click every time someone actually wants to visit your webpage. This means the user is qualified as being a real and prime lead for your offer.

In my opinion, being charged per click versus per thousand impressions is definitely the way to go. I would feel much more comfortable in paying for advertising knowing that I was only charged when a user actually wanted to see my ad. Sure, you are going to have the users that click the ad because they are bored or really just want to play around, but that is with any advertising.

Facebook Ads is great and really changing the way people advertise today on the Internet. <bio>Dirk Wagner is a programmer who has been able to uncover all the secrets of advertising and making money on Facebook.
Statistics tell us that in the U.S. alone, the average person is exposed to 3,500 ad impressions per day. I'm not talking about the average Internet user seeing banner impressions... I'm talking about the typical citizen seeing billboards, TV commercials, email promos, branded coffee mugs, etc.

And most of the ad impressions we see on a daily basis are not direct response promotions. A billboard on the highway is not necessarily placed to make us stop right then and there and purchase a new couch, nor is a ballpoint pen with the name of a local bank likely to make us rush over to the nearest branch and open an account spur of the moment.

But all of these impressions do take their toll on our subconscious minds. Think of the first names that come to mind when I mention:

- Soda - Fast Food - Software

I'm willing to bet 90% of the folks who read this article came up with the same three companies. The other 10% are just flakes or people who are trying to be difficult. ;o)

So there's the proof that branding works.

And did you know the company or trademark with the highest brand awareness percentage always outsells the second and third ranked companies combined? Pretty amazing isn't it?

In a national survey 99.2% of the participants said they are more likely to buy a product or service based on the first company or trademark that comes to mind when it's time to purchase!

Effective branding increases profits, period. And you don't have to be a mega-corporation to leverage this knowledge.

Get yourself a logo and place it on all your business cards, web banners, etc. and then get these tools in front of as many people as possible.

Talk to your local broadcasting company about radio ad packages.

Have a T-shirt shop print you up a few hundred shirts with your logo and then give the shirts away to high school kids at a homecoming event.

These are just a few suggestions right off the top of my head. The idea is to get your logo and/or your name out there and keep it out there.

Stay consistent! Once people see you or hear about you enough they begin to associate you with the product or service you offer, and this will greatly increase your chances of being called on when these people are ready to buy a product in your field. <bio>Tim Whiston is a full-time entrepreneur who assists small businesses and other entrepreneurs in the development and promotion of profitable websites. However does this mean that you should discard your banner ads and trade them in for another type of SEO.

There are several ways that tell whether or not your banner ad is worth keeping.

You need to somehow keep track of your page Impressions. This term is the number of times a particular web page has been requested from the server. Advertisers are interested in knowing how many page views they are being offered before they do a banner exchange with you. If you don't have a high rate of page impressions then the banner ad is not doing much for you.

Another thing to do is examine your Click-through rate (CTR). This describes the ratio of page views to clicks. It tells you in the form of a percentage the total number of web visitors who actually clicked on the banner ad. The typical click-through-rate of payment is a measly 1 percent and if you are not even making that then the program is not working for you.

If you are thinking of starting a banner ad click through or pay per click type ad campaign you should make sure that the banner relates to your web content. Otherwise you could confuse both search engine spiders and people looking for you.

It is also a good idea to put banner ads at the top of the page rather than further down. Yet another tip is to link the banner ad to the page on your web page that features the same as it helps raise your rankings in the search engine. The hitch with this and also the reason why trading banners may not be worth your time is that many banner exchanges won't do the trade with you unless you can guarantee that you will place the banner on your home page! <bio>Christopher Angus is a SEO and Website Marketer.
Advertising business gifts can be a significant expense for your company. Like most advertising, it can be difficult to determine a bottom line return on your investment. With advertising business gifts, it can be especially difficult to measure their true worth to your company, since a great deal of the value comes from intangibles like increased customer loyalty and heightened brand awareness. Here are some considerations and figures that may help you determine the relative cost-per-value ratio of your marketing campaign using advertising business gifts.

When you purchase advertising in a magazine, online or on the television, one of the determinants of pricing is how many times your advertisement will be viewed and by how many people. You pay far less per column inch in a low circulation newspaper than in the Daily News with a circulation in the hundreds of thousands. When determining the relative value of advertising business gifts, you can use the same logic. Simply estimate how many times your logo or message will be seen and by how many people, and then divide it into the cost of the item. For instance:

Custom-Printed Promotional T-shirts Promotional t-shirts are one of those advertising business gifts that offer high visibility. Assume that a promotional t-shirt costs you =A33.49 and lasts about 18 months. During that time, the shirt is worn 3 times per month, and seen by an average of 50 people each time it is worn. That's 150 impressions per month for your message, or about 2,700 impressions over the life of the t-shirt. The cost per impression is about .0013p, and CPM (cost per thousand impressions) is 1.2p. Of course, that doesn't take into account the value of endorsement =96 every time one of your customers wears their t-shirt, they are endorsing your product as well as publicizing it.

Promotional Car Stickers Car stickers are a popular, low cost way to advertise your business, and make great advertising business gifts for businesses like pubs, clubs and spas. Suppose you spend =A30.29 per car sticker and the life of the sticker is about one year. During that year, the sticker is seen every time the car is driven on the highways and streets. Assume an average of 30 people per day view the sticker. That works out to about 900 impressions per month, or over 10,000 vies per year. The estimated CPM of your bumper sticker is =A30.02. In other words, it cost you tuppence to put your name in front of 1,000 people.

You can work out the mathematics on other advertising business gifts yourself. Of course, you'll also need to take into account such things as targeted market =96 a coffee mug that is used in an office where most people will need to buy your product at some point gives you a more targeted market than a car sticker that is seen by hundreds of people who will never have a use for your product. Once you start working out the numbers, though, you'll find that using advertising business gifts as part of a marketing campaign is cost effective and just plain effective. <bio>Gareth Parkin is the co-founder of Ideasbynet, the UK's leading online advertising business gifts supplier based in the north of England. Established in 2001, he has taken the UK gift market by storm. For more details visit http://www.ideasbynet.com </bio>

Advertising is very often a major component of a company's marketing budget. Television, radio, newspaper or flyer ads, almost every company, small or large, will invest in advertising. However, how effective is your current preferred method of advertising your business?

Vehicle wraps are the hottest new form of mobile advertising. Vehicle wraps are full color graphics that are printed onto removable vinyl strips and applied to vehicles. Wrap advertising, also called vehicle graphics, can be either partial or completely cover a vehicle. It in fact turns your vehicle into a mobile billboard.

Vehicle wraps are popular because they take the message directly into the marketplace. They allow marketers to target specific demographics in key areas. And they are effective. Statistics have shown that a good design wrap of graphics on a vehicle can draw up to 70,000 views a day.

Research suggests that vehicle graphics advertising works. Outdoor Advertising Magazine recently published that outdoor mobile media billboards have a 97% recall rate and 96% of survey respondents thought mobile advertising is more effective than traditional outdoor advertising. The company 3M and the American Trucking Association noted that 91% of the target noticed the text and graphics on truck advertising, and the Traffic Audit Bureau suggested that on local routes, monthly impressions ranged from one to four millions hits. These numbers are impressive. Another study on vehicle graphics advertising from Product Acceptance and Research said that 94% of respondents recalled seeing the vehicle wrap, with 80% recalling the specific advertisement. The studied wrap advertisements resulted in a sales increase of 107%.

Vehicle graphics are less expensive than you might think. A well designed vehicle vinyl wrap will pay for itself within months, days or even hours in some cases. Vehicle wraps can make thousands upon thousands of impressions everyday. Over time those impressions become multiple impressions...your brand and service become ingrained into your potential buyers minds and eventually even "John Doe" will call, because you made an impression on him with the vehicle graphic wrap on your car, van or truck. Most companies agree that outdoor advertising is cheap advertising in the sense that it makes so many more impressions over time than any other form of advertising.

With an average vehicle wrap costing around $3,000, it is money well spent. Especially when you consider how much you are paying for banner ads or pay per click, or the cost of your flyer mailer campaigns. The return on investment can be much more interesting with wrap advertising. This is particularly true when you consider that the average vehicle wrap can last three to five years depending on your location.

When evaluating the best ways to spend your advertising budget, remember to include vehicle graphics. Not only is it a fairly affordable form of advertising, it will allow you to make constant, consistent contacts everywhere you go. Given the life span of a vehicle wrap, your initial investment will in fact represent pennies per day and while reaching tens of thousands of potential buyers every single day.<bio>Shah Dayan owns Mammoth Imaging an independently owned Canadian company specializing in high quality grand format printing located in Mississauga.
Understanding the Google Adsense Report

When you log into your Google Adsense account, you are automatically taken to the page where you can view all your Adsense activity. On the Reports tab, you'll see "Today's Earnings." This is the approximate amount you have earned today in your Google Adsense account. Earnings are not final at this point and could be adjusted for invalid clicks or fees.

It's interesting to look at the breakdown. As you can see, Adsense for Content, which refers to the targeted ads appearing on the pages in which you have written content, is listed first. Here you will see the number of page impressions listed in the first column. While a page impression is generally the same as a page view, that is not always the case. For a more detailed definition of a page impression, see Google Adsense support, click on Your Adsense Account and then click on Your Adsense Report.

Next, you'll notice the number of clicks. This refers to the number of times "your ads" were clicked on.

Page click through rate or CTR is in the next column shown as a percentage. It represents the percentage of the time an ad was clicked on after viewing your page.

Page eCPM which stands for effective cost per thousand impressions. It is calculated by dividing total earnings by the number of page impressions in thousands.

Don't be intimidated by these statistics.
Before you start on your voyage there is a lot of excitement. You may miss certain small yet important items while packing. Imagine if you cannot find your toothpaste or other such essential items on the first morning of your holiday!

To avoid getting sunburns you may remember your blue wide-brimmed hat. But while dreaming of a lazy stroll on the deck with your hat on, thinking that its color matches well with the ocean you are likely to miss your sunglasses. On the other end, over stuffing your suitcase is also unwise. You may have packed a whole lot of irrelevant stuff for cruising. So holiday planning is crucial.

Some useful packing tips for your cruise that may be helpful in your holiday preparation:

Generally people tend to remember cameras, alarm clocks and CD players.

Remember to pack your electric razor and not leave it behind where it is normally kept, if you use it on your departure day. Electric gadgets work with batteries. So, make sure you carry enough for all your electric appliances.

Another area where people tend to be careless is prescription medication. Please carry a copy of your prescription along with the original, if you can. This would come handy as a backup if you happen to lose one piece of your luggage. Also, it is sensible to put two bottles of your medication in separate bags in case the first one gets misplaced or lost.

You must carry atleast two pairs of bathing suits. For an aesthetic reason you may not want to be seen wearing the same pair everyday. For a practical reason your suit may not dry when you wish to wear it.

If you wish to use large beach towels then you must carry your own as on the cruise the towels available are bath-sized meant for the bathrooms.

Your packing list could also include sunscreen, a pair of sunglasses and few flip-flops.

Carry essentials like memory cards, batteries or films for your camera.

You may also carry a notebook with you. This would help you to log in all your impressions while they are still fresh in your mind and make you feel like a sea explorer on an adventure. Plus, these impressions will strengthen your memory more then what you can remember from the video or the pictures alone.

Cruise stories are a huge hit with people. If you possess good skills at writing then who knows your impressions may be a bestseller some day! <bio>Jack Blacksmith often pens detailed articles on topics dealing with Benidorm and Costablanca. Working on his writings like http://www.alicante-spain.com/costa-blanca.html ,the writer showed his knowledge on information on Costa Blanca. </bio>

When you want to make an "impression" there is no better way than with a rubber stamp. You can find a rubber stamp with a great design on it that expresses your personality, or order a custom rubber stamp with your name, address or company logo on it. Rubber stamps are great for business or pleasure; they are great for kids and for executives, depending on what they are used for. Rubber stamps come in a variety of styles and choosing one over another is going to depend on the use for the stamp. Three common types of rubber stamps are: standard rubber stamps, self-inking stamps and pre-inked stamps.

Traditional Rubber Stamps Standard rubber stamps are a good value for the money and are good for ordinary use. They are usually designed with wooden bases and handles and rubber heads. You can order a custom rubber stamp with your own phrase or information on it; and it is common for standard rubber stamps to have stock phrases like "Approved," "Draft" or "Paid" on them for business use. Standard rubber stamps are available with dies that are made out of, photo polymer, or traditional rubber. Photo polymer stamp dies do not perform well with industrial inks. Rubber is the best material for standard stamps - it is durable and flexible. You will need to purchase an ink pad to go along with a standard rubber stamp, and there are many colors of ink available. Traditional Rubber Stamps can be made in any size or shape.

Self Inking Rubber Stamps With self-inking rubber stamps, you do not need a separate ink pad. A rubber die is mounted to a plate that strikes a built-in ink pad each time an impression is made. You don't have to worry about the mess caused when you accidentally touch the ink and get it on your fingers as self inking stamps have the stamp and the ink pad self contained. They can make thousands of impressions before their internal ink pads need to be reinked. Self-inking stamps are popular for business purposes, mass mailings, or if you simply are tired of writing your address by hand on every letter you send. These are good for repetitive stamping tasks and are usually used for custom work like address stamps and endorsement stamps, or for general business uses.

Pre inked Rubber Stamps A pre-inked stamp does not require a separate ink pad either since the ink resides within the stamp's surface. The ink is transmitted to the paper's surface through microscopic pores in the rubber which also prevent leakage. A pre-inked rubber stamp is refilled by placing more ink into its reservoir. Like self-inking stamps, pre-inked stamps are good to use when you have many impressions to make, such as mass mailings or if you want to have a stamp with your address or monogram on it.

You might wonder which rubber stamp is right for you: a standard, self-inking or pre-inked stamp. A standard rubber stamp can be a good choice if you do not use it very often because a standard rubber stamp takes more time to use than the other varieties (i.e. you have to ink the stamp on the ink pad and then make the impression on the paper's surface). Both the self-inking stamps and the pre-inked stamps are good options for business use. They are both neat and convenient, and can make a thousand impressions before more ink is needed. Pre Inked Stamps are the best decision if you are looking for a quality stamp. <bio>Adam Raidabaugh is the president of ACORN Sales Company, Inc., a leader in the marking and stamp industry.
So many people ask me about starting an AdWords campaign. They say, "I have no idea what this is going to cost, how many impressions I'll get, or what will work. I have a product that will bring a $30 commission, what should my cost per click be?"

Here's what I tell them: "$29.99, and that's if you're getting 100% conversion." Of course, that won't happen in the Internet marketing arena, so what can you spend? That's the ultimate question. What are you willing to take and just flush down the toilet? Make sense?

It may and it may not. It depends on how new to the Internet marketing business world you are, and how well you know how AdWords works. So, let's make this clear. If you want to advertise your business using Google AdWords, you have to decide how your Internet marketing business can afford to drop every day, until your AdWords campaign becomes viable.

You may be thinking, I can't waste any money right now. If that's true, then you probably shouldn't be messing around with AdWords. There are so many other ways to advertise in Internet marketing, without using AdWords, and many of them are free. So, wait until you have the wherewithal to lose some money, and then, you should set a very specific budget for that kind of advertising.

But for this illustration, let's figure that you can just flush away some money. But you have to first decide what your advertising budget is for your Internet marketing business, and what percentage of that you're willing to spend on AdWords. It might be $100 a day, or it might be $3, but whatever that amount is, you set your AdWords daily budget at that figure.

Just remember that you'll get fewer impressions with the lowest amounts, and fewer click-throughs. It's possible that it will take a long time to see your ad circulated enough to do any evaluation of how well your ad works. But let's just say that your daily budget is $50. You can just dump that $50 a day, and it won't put a dent in your Internet marketing business, right? So, let's just say that you only get clicks that cost you $10 a day for 7 days. You have $40 a day left over that you didn't spend. OK, then, for the next seven days, you can boost your daily rate to $90 to see what happens.

Eventually, with a lot of testing and tracking, you'll find a sweet spot. Your ad will be getting impressions and you'll be getting clicks. It just takes time. You have to continually monitor the campaign and tweak it until it becomes profitable. A good ebook to read to get you into this game is Perry Marshall's The Definitive Guide to AdWords. Get it and use what you learn inside.

Though my answer here may seem cloudy, it's the truth. Nobody can tell you what your cost-per-click should be. Spend as much as your Internet marketing business can afford on AdWords and not a single cent more. When you see that the campaign is starting to work, you may change your strategy and spend more on AdWords. It just depends on how quickly you make changes and move forward. Just never become depressed or upset at how this is going. You have to keep moving ahead.

Here is the key to success. Never give up. Just don't put expensive demands on your Internet marketing business's budget to the point that you're way in over your head. Your Internet marketing business will fail or you'll be stuck paying huge credit card debts for years. If you don't understand the system fully, learn it before jumping in head first. Be a little conservative, and plan your AdWords campaign wisely. <bio>Tellman Knudson is CEO of Overcome Everything, Inc. and a master of Internet marketing and list building.
In this article I will discuss whether or not Google Adwords is still the best or if the new and upcoming ways of advertising are taking over the way internet marketers show their products, services, and offers to the general public.

People have been using Google Adwords now for years. There are many people who have reported making six figure incomes or higher by simply using Adwords to drive traffic to their website. On the other hand, there are those people who complain on a daily basis that the price of Google Adwords keywords have gone up substantially since they were first offered and it's now getting very difficult to become profitable using Google Adwords. It really takes a marketer examining his offer, marketing funnel, and advertising costs of Adwords to determine whether or not they are not making any profit at all, turning a small profit, or banking huge returns using Adwords.

Since the birth of Adwords there has been many other avenues of advertising that social networks and search engines have tried to create using Adwords model.

In this article, I will specifically look into Facebook. The huge social network of high school students, college students, and many other individuals has grown by leaps and bounds since it was first created. Now that Facebook has a considerable amount of traffic they have decided to try and turn a large profit by offering advertisers the chance to advertise their offers on their network.

At first, they used a platform called Facebook Fliers. The platform boasted to be able to show your offer per thousand impressions. The rates were very cheap and on first looked it seemed as if it was going to be a very promising program. Well, as months went by, Facebook Fliers proved to be very ineffective for marketers. The main complaint now was that Facebook was charging only for impressions, and instead they should switch to clicks. The reason being is if a user "clicks" an offer it shows definite and genuine interest in the marketers offer.

With the advice of internet marketers all over the world Facebook switched to its newest program, "Facebook Ads." Facebook Ads now charges each marketer per click instead of per impressions. With the birth of this program, marketers all over the world are boasting huge returns now using Facebook Ads. The CPC (cost per click) is low due to their not being much competition in niches and it seems as if this is the best model Facebook could have switched to.

The internet and advertising is constantly evolving, and it seems as if Facebook is right on top of the trends and how quickly things can change. I suspect that this social network will be around for decades to come and will be able to monetize itself very well by showing advertisements to its audience of close to 100 million people.

Now, it's time for YOU to cash in on the huge returns of Facebook Ads. My tip to you is to find an uncovered niche and take full advantage of it before someone else does! <bio>Dirk Wagner is a programmer who has been able to uncover all the secrets of programs such as Facebook Ads and Adwords Marketing.
It has oft been stated that "First impressions are lasting impressions". So is it with job interviews and the employment interview screening process. Once a first impression is created it is more than difficult if not impossible to shake off or change those series of first impressions once created. It is as if you are being packaged for a sale -- in this case the final product is yourself -- looking for a successful job or employment posting.

If the whole packaging for an employment interview can be summarized in one sentence or phrase that is "To dress conservatively". The perception, that is unless you demonstrate otherwise, is that you are what you appear. Interviewers, and indeed people in general, assume you are what you appear to be. How could it be otherwise? That is unless you tell or present information in another manner or direction.

For example if a person its going for a job interview in an industry where trust and the perception that the organization or actual employee is to be trusted -- such as the banking or finance investment industries then not only is it important to appear clean, pressed and perfectly groomed but also to cover tattoos and not to appear at the interview wearing a baseball cap or scantily clad. Similarly if you are to interview for a job in the health care field -- say at a pharmacy or nursing home then it may be a wise idea to not only to cover those tattoos but also remove or even lose your nose ring. You may perceive them as cool and great but that may not be the perceived reaction both by the interviewer and potential customers and clients. and those that you care for.

Most interviewers expect applicants overall to wear business like clothes when they apply for office or professional positions. For men and women often a conservative suit of quality fabric is generally both appropriate and acceptable in these interview and business situations. In the specific cases of women, a conservative tailored dress or coordinated skirt and blouse with a matching jacket is also more than acceptable and appropriate in these cases. It has been found, noted and documented that some of the times that women who wear slacks to an interview lower their overall chances of being hired. If you want the job, then why take the chances unnecessarily?

If possible and whenever possible, visit your target and targeted employer or employers to observe the working atmosphere, conditions and dress codes. It never hurts to check out, prepare and observe. It can be a simple walk through -- as in the case of a retail store. It may be just to scout. Or it may be to ask simple information on a product or service. Nothing wrong with this. Nothing wrong or illegal in this practice.

Even if you are spotted by the interviewer as having entertained this practice -- it was just a matter of simple course and research to be merited and noted. You were doing good and thorough preparation to get the job. You want to fit in and be an asset to the firm or organization in order to become both a productive employee and full member of the team.

Lastly it can be said that even if the employer permits casual dress on the job, or for example "casual Fridays", even in the banking field., that it never hurts to err on the side of conservative dress and caution, that it is best to demonstrate both initiative and enhance your personal image and presentation by dressing more formally for the most important business meeting -- that is your job employment interview. Remember that it is first impressions that are lasting. It never hurts to err on the side of conservatism and the trusted, true and respected when it comes to projecting the package of the product. In this case the product is you trying to get that job, career or employment through the employment interview process. Be seen and presented as an employee who will be an asset to the firm -- both responsible and reliable.<bio>Winnipeg Job Bank Fire Your Boss Supervisor Alberta Job Shop</bio>

Complete Industry, employer and job research gives job career search applicants a competitive edge. The work you do before the interview will pay off in spades many times over and over.

Employers nationwide report soundly that applicants who research employers well increase their employability as much as 25- 40 %. Thus by doing a thorough job of research of the complete industry, employer and job you will have a big payoff. This is most important both for getting that job, increasing your salary requests and later promotion on the job. Remember that first impressions carry a tremendous amount of weight and that "First Impressions are Lasting Impressions".

The advantages of researching your career field and potential employers affect the success of your job search in many ways.

First you will have a good competitive edge. Employers view candidates who do not have solid knowledge of the employer's businesses or industry as weak and poor choices for hiring. If you are prepared to discuss products and industry facts, figures and industry trends it will demonstrate that you have made a sincere and solid effort to learn about their organization and the marketplace. Many if not most applicants do not invest energy of their so called "valuable time" in researching employers. If you do, you will. Surely have the competitive edge for getting that job over your competitors.

Secondly you will be in a situation to determine better career decisions. Having current knowledge about employers, industries and job targets, allows you to make informed career decisions and assess your interest in and qualifications for specific jobs.

Next you will have improved ability to market your career skills and get hired. Researching employers improves your ability to discuss specifically how your qualifications match the employer's purposes, goals and needs. Employers are most willing to invest substantial training resources, time and costs to applicants who demonstrate initiative and commitment through their research of the employer and industry.

It is interesting to note that by conducting a thorough job of employer and industry research this will work towards compensating for lack of experience. Industry knowledge helps you compensate for lack of actual or extensive job experience. This is most of concern if you are a "rookie" in the industry or in the job force and your competition are seasoned veterans.

That is seasoned veterans who may not have have complete 10 per cent of the level and completeness of the through and complete job of research that you have completed.

Lastly you will have increased confidence. By being well informed you will feel more confident and communicate much more clearly, effectively and concisely. In effect you will project greater confidence, expertise and experience.

Complete and thorough industry, employer and job research pay off big time for employment job interviews. One last point if the interviewer takes offense at your research and questions this is a very good indication that this is not a good employer or at the least not a good boss to work for. <bio>Shaun Z.
Search engines, such as Yahoo and Google, provide listings on a per bid basis called PPC (Pay Per Click) advertising. PPC has evolved into one of the most exciting forms of online advertising. In the past, websites received traffic through organic results. Note: Organic results are accomplished by website optimization, link popularity, and many other factors. The highest bidder for keyword phrases typically drives PPC results. The more you are willing to pay for a click the higher your link moves to the top of the paid results. PPC is one of the most effective online advertising methods.

Practical example: A banner ad campaign might cost you $50.00 per thousand impressions. You can expect a 0.5 percent click through rate that should result in 5 clicks to your site. That means that you are paying $10.00 per click. Let's say you have a 1 percent conversion rate, and you need 100 clicks to get one sale. The 100 clicks will cost you $1000.00. Now, consider your margins. Can you afford to advertise through banner ads?

Why Use PPC?

PPC advertising is infinitely more effective than banner advertising. Instead of paying for impressions, you are paying for clicks. To take it one step further, you are paying for qualified clicks. Only people searching for your selected keywords see your PPC ad, therefore, only interested web surfers will be able to click your ad. PPC give the advertiser more control than any other form of advertising technique. In addition to getting immediate traffic to your site, PPC can help you get quick feedback.

PPC can help your business with your organic search efforts. Before you optimize your site for a certain keywords phrase, you can test it in a PPC campaign. Once you quickly test the conversion rate for a keyword, you can dedicate more time to improving organic results for the same keyword. You might believe that a certain keyword is the most important keyword for your site. With the help of PPC, you can test your theory. If your theory was incorrect, you can try another keyword. It's better to spend a few dollars on a theory than to spend several months. The instant feedback is one of the most revolutionary aspects of PPC advertising. <bio>George Meszaros with Webene http://www.webene.com </bio>

The practice of search engine optimization first came into being in the mid 1990s when the first search engines began cataloguing the contents of the Internet. Initially the entire procedure was fairly honest and a fair reflection of what content there was on the web. Sites were submitted to the search engines and a spider crawled the content and then stored the collected data in a database that could be accessed by individuals performing a search.

When a search engine spider detects new content on the Internet it downloads a page where it is stored on the engine's own server. Once on the server a second program, known as indexer extract information about the page as well as all of the links it contains. This page is then placed into a depository of pages to be crawled at a later date.

At first, the information that ended up on these early search engines came from the webmasters who were trusted to be honest. Early versions of search algorithms relied on webmaster-provided information such as the keyword meta tag, or index files in engines like ALIWEB. Meta-tags provided a guide to each page's content. However the corruption of this system began when webmasters abused meta tags by including keywords that had nothing to do with the content of their pages, to artificially increase page impressions for their Website. This of course also increased their ad revenue from pay per clicks and costs per impressions. Greed soon led to inaccurate, incomplete cataloguing of web pages and too many people being led to pages without content or with misleading content when they conducted a web search. Search engines responded by developing more complex ranking algorithms with the result that understanding SEO has become much more complicated then it ever has been before and will continue to become more complicated. <bio>Chris Angus is a SEO and website promoter, he can be contacted at sales(at)brilliantseo.com http://www.chooseinsurance.co.uk http://www.mobility-direct.co.uk http://www.mdhsasbestosconsultants.com </bio>

Choosing a wedding invitation can be an event more difficult feat than choosing and planning a wedding reception and dinner. Everyone has their ideas. Everyone wants it a certain way. Styles, color and papers change. What was available last year from one supplier is not available currently. And we are not even at wording of the wedding invitation yet.

There are many traditions about wedding invitation wording, It's you and your fianc=E9s choice of whether to follow these rules exactly, in a somewhat manner or not at all. There is after no legislation that you are aware of mandating the style, paper and wording of your wedding invitation. It's your show and your choice so speak.

However it is usually best to go with the theme, venue as well as overall flow of the wedding day. For example if you are having a formal church wedding, you will most likely want traditional formal wording in your invitation. On the other hand if you are holding a smaller wedding in a home setting then a handwritten font less format invitation may be in order.

It can be said that the wedding invitation is your entry point =96 the one thing that all your treasured guests will receive. On top of that it sets the whole first impression of your major event =96 your wedding day. First impassions are often lasting impressions. Some people might tell you that wedding invitations are a minor part of the mix. Not so as you well know in life. Once first impressions are created it is almost impossible to get rid of and overcome them.

At its most basic, your invitation will tell the world, and especially your valued guests: Who is doing the wedding; what the event is: Where and When it will be held.

The actual wording of the invitation will depend to the largest extent who is issuing it, as well as where the event will be actually held. Traditionally the bride's parent issue the wedding invitations, but in 2008 in today's world guidelines and procedures are more liberal. The bride and groom can choose to issue their own invitations. Also the groom's parents may be the ones to issue the invitations. It's not as if the invitation signals to the world that is actually paying for the whole wedding and wedding reception events. For example if the groom's family are very well off and paying for the majority of the wedding costs, the wedding invitations would still traditionally come from the bridal couple or one or both sets of parents.

There are well established traditions for the protocol of wording invitations in somewhat delicate family situations. For example for parents, who are divorced: then each can be mentioned on a separate line without the word "and "between the two lines?

Generally if one or both of the parents have remarried, then only the original parent's names are mentioned, although if there is a particularly close relationship between a stepparent and the bride or groom, then it would well be appropriate to include that person's name.

Lastly it is always a good idea to familiarize you with the traditional modes of wording a wedding invitation. Then you can make an informed decision whether to follow these traditions. If you are in the dark you can unintentionally make a faux pas, confuse or even offend certain of your guess.

After all the wedding invitation is not just any piece of paper. It will be the first thing that all your wedding guests will see of your wedding. Take care in the choice and delivery of your wedding invitation. After all, first impassions are usually lasting impressions. <bio>King Cole Catering Plan Your Winnipeg Wedding Winnipeg Catering Plan Your Winnipeg Wedding Blog http://kingcolecatering.nedsolution.com/blog/ Winnipeg Wedding Catering http://www.fortunacooks.com http://www.kingcolecatering.net </bio>

Whether you are a sales professional or the proud owner of an Internet or brick-and-mortar business, there is a wonderful way to deliver your message to thousands of motorists and pedestrians every day.

You can stick small and fancy plates in the back of your car. These little plates will work hard for you in downtown traffic, on a crowded freeway or even while you're parked at the mall.

Imagine the impact of having your website address, e-mail address, company name, phone number and business message seen thousands of times every day in major city traffic.

Assuming the average person drives to and from work daily in rush hour traffic in a large city, EACH plate you display in your car will be seen and understood a minimum of 3,000 times per day.

These are called "impressions". Start figuring the cost. Assume the average car owner will keep their vehicle for 3 years. 3,000 impressions per day X 365 days = 1,095,000 impressions per year (X 3 years = 3,285,000 impressions per plate!).

Forget bumper stickers and other cheap, cheesy decals. The small plates I am talking about are available in elegant polished chrome or a luxurious gold matte finish and are carefully hand assembled to your text specifications. They mount safely to your vehicle and have been road tested in the frigid Canadian north and in dry desert heat. Your plate can be run through hundreds of car washes and will probably outlast your car!

Who can use these plates?

Webmasters - Small Businesses - Manufacturers - Corporations - Auto Dealerships - Political Organizations - Retail Stores - Limousine Services - Real Estate Companies - MLM's - Internet Businesses - Service Businesses - Schools - Universities - Trade Unions - Associations - Churches - Individuals

What are they doing with these plates?

* Advertising and promoting their Web Sites and Businesses Using them as Premiums and Incentives * FUNDRAISING * Broadcasting their message * Creating Goodwill by giving them to customers and employees * Creating public interest in their products and services with catchy slogans that get noticed on the road!

What do they put on their plates?

Web Site URL's - Email Addresses - Company Names - Slogans - Phone and Fax Numbers - Association and Institution Names - Personal Messages and Favorite Sayings ....and the list is growing!

Where do they put them?

Vehicles - Trucks - Vans - Taxis - Fleets - Buses - Boats

In the Office - On Office Doors - Storefront Windows - Walls - Filing Cabinets - Counters

At Home - In Home Offices - On the Mail Box- Bedroom Doors - Refrigerator Doors

In my research I have found out this as one of the best ways to promote your business or website while your effort is simply driving your car as you do every day. The cost of this small displays compared to their effect and millions of views of your business name is simply ridiculous.

This is a very simple yet extremely effective way of promoting your business, website or your own name to thousands while you are simply driving your car. This promotional system is at the same time very elegant and nice looking. Nobody but the cars or people passing or driving behind your car will notice your nice sticker. <bio>Juan Rodriguez Villa is a consultant specializing in online and offline marketing.
Over time our teeth tend to become discolored or stained. Whether this is from smoking, coffee, or any other foods, a beautiful smile could be closer than you think. There are safe, inexpensive solutions to an unsightly smile. Whitening your teeth is a very simple procedure that can be completed in relatively short period of time.

The first step in the whitening process is impressions. Dentists will take full impressions of your upper and lower teeth. These impressions will be made into custom bleaching trays. The trays will fit onto your teeth perfectly so there is a small possibility of gum damage from the bleaching solution.

The second step is to place the bleaching solution in the trays and wear them for a few hours a day. Within 7-10 days, you will see a significant improvement in the color of your teeth. Your smile will look brighter and younger. Some dentists will take before and after photos so that you will be able to compare the amazing transformation.

Bleaching only works on natural teeth and may not be effective in all cases. Your dentist will inform you as to the potential whitening for your specific situation.

Porcelain veneers are extremely thin casings of ceramic that are bonded to the front of the patients tooth to create a new smile. Porcelain veneers are placed over the front of teeth that appear too small or large, slightly discolored, or simply are not cosmetically pleasing to the patient. For many patients, teeth may have chipped, become discolored, or are slightly crooked. For the majority of these patients, porcelain veneers can prove to be the perfect solution.

When placing porcelain veneers, cosmetic dentists pay close attention to the patients surrounding teeth and design each veneer to complement the overall smile. The result is a beautiful, attractive new smile.

If cared for properly, your veneers will last you a long time. We ensure that your new veneers are constructed of the most durable porcelain materials available.

The cosmetic dentistry procedure begins with the preparation of the tooth. This entails removing the discolored or unsightly portion of the tooth and meticulously shaping the tooth in preparation for the new veneer. Once the cosmetic dentist has shaped the tooth, they will take an impression. This impression will be sent to a lab where your new restoration will be crafted. While the new veneers are created, the dentist provide you with a temporary restoration. Temporary restorations will resemble your natural teeth so that you can continue with your daily life without worrying about a missing or incompatible tooth.

During your next visit to the office, the cosmetic dentist will proceed with the placement of your final restoration. The veneers will be fitted comfortably into the mouth. The dentist will make every effort to ensure that the new tooth feels exactly like one of your natural teeth. The final step in the process will be to bond the new veneers into your mouth, leaving you with a beautifully restored smile. <bio>Dave Stringham is the President of LookingYourBest - an online resource for plastic surgery.
You may well think that Feng Shui is an art and science to be applied after the home is purchased and the new homeowners or renters have moved in. It used to be thought in the American automobile industry that quality was something done after the sale =96 it was for the dealer or salesperson to deal with. Look where this mentality has led the auto industry. Feng Shui is a useful tool, technique and strategy to both sell that Home, Condo or Cottage quicker and at a higher price.

Location of a home is not only important but so is the actual layout and ease of movement throughout the property. First make sure that the house is not cluttered =96 both with items and pathways. Imagine the home was in a fire and it was an emergency. Could you move around the home and out to the front or back doors quickly. The house should be cleared of all unnecessary items. Less is more. The dominant rule of Feng Shui in this situation is that the eye is drawn easily and promptly to the corner diagonal of each room. Rooms will seem larger in size. More space in a home is perceived better than less space.

The more perceived space the more will be the corresponding selling price.

Similarly the house must look good and inviting to the senses. The best recommendation in the land of Feng Shui is lots and lots of horizontal counter space to support the good karma. Even then these countertops and shelves should be as clear and open as possible. Again the more perceived space in the openness of the house the higher the selling price. Unnecessary clutter makes landmarks so to speak in home buyer's mind leading to perceptions of a smaller residence. In most cases, smaller residences mean smaller sale prices. In today's real estate market of low interest rates and high demand for properties even though the market is hot impressions are even more rather than less important. The home buyer has to make even faster snap decisions on the spot. Perceptions rather than hard facts often rule the sale today.

Entrances to the home have to be easily accessible; Mirrors in doorways are bad news with Feng Shui. Movement is good =96 rather than deadly silence. Ceiling fans or a ticking clock can add well to the perceptions. In addition the entrance should be inviting to guests =96 not a barrier. A welcome mat is always nice, fresh flowers in a smaller vase always seem to carry a nice message.

Your home and its order and cleanliness scream out about the care, condition and maintenance of the house. Counters should be clean, the cupboards and pantry well organized and of course the counters should be clear and free of clutter.

The ambience of the home according to Feng Shui is what carries the day. Soothing background music can set the tempo and tone. A soft scent can further enhance these effects =96 either cinnamon or pine scents always seem to do well. Stay away from From strong incense. And always close the bathroom doors.

Lastly the front door is the most important area in the home for first impressions and the higher selling price of the property. The entrance area should be clean and simply immaculate with soft lights turned on in the foyer area. It is best to have additional supports flanking the front doors =96 such as lush very healthy plants and flowers.

All in all Feng Shui helps in the preparation and good karma of your property that is for sale. First impressions more than carry the day in the very hot real estate markets. Buyers have less time to think so to say. Homes are sold in a snap. If you do not buy that house, condo or cottage now =96 it may well be gone tomorrow. First impressions and the positive effects of Feng Shui carry the day. Feng Shui! <bio>Kerry A.
Finding good people to perform work on your home is usually an important step in ensuring your home turns out as good as possible. For many, one's home is their pride and joy and making it look as beautiful as possible is a top priority for these people. Hiring the right person to do your work is often the first step towards a successful home improvement project.

Many paint contractors are only out for your money and do not take the extra steps or put in the extra care that separates the good contractors from the great ones. Contractors that care about their projects and take pride in their own work, even though it is not their own house, are the ones who will always do the best job. As is always the case, those who take pride in their work are rewarded with the best outcome. It is actually surprising that more paint contractors do not take pride in their work, as most of the time their work is on display for neighbors to see. If the work is great, they will probably get more business, but such is life and you cannot expect everybody to put in the same work as everybody else. The trick is to figure out who will be a good contractor to hire and who will not accomplish what you are looking for. The differences are usually pretty detectable in the preliminary hiring stage.

When hiring a paint contractor, be sure to look for signs of dishonesty or disrespect upon first meeting them. This usually takes place during their first visit to your home when they are providing you with an estimate. First impressions can usually tell you a lot about a person. From not making eye contact to a general air of disrespect, these are usually red flags and a closer look should be taken and more consideration put in before hiring a contractor who exhibits such behaviors. If a paint contractor refuses to look you in the eye and shows disrespect and rudeness towards you upon first meeting you, how do you think they will perform for the duration of the project? Probably not so well. These are a few things to look out for when hiring a contractor to do some work for you. If you find a contractor who is able to look you in the eye, is outgoing and very polite, he or she is probably a good way to go. Their enthusiasm they show at the beginning of a project often spills over into their work and anybody who is enthusiastic about the work they do probably loves it and will probably do a fantastic job.

This is not to say that all first impressions are totally 100% reliable and foolproof. Many people you get a bad vibe from turn out to do excellent work and end up showing tremendous amounts of respect towards you and your home. And many people who you get a good vibe from end up being lousy contractors. These are just good parameters to go by when selecting somebody to do work for you, it will usually pay off to do a little research and put in some consideration.<bio>More information on becoming a paint contractor, home improvement and College Works Painting in your area is just a click away.</bio>
